- 0:00Speaker 1: Well the ninety six one Kiss Morning Free Show.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Well not, what do we do? Like, my whole life
- 0:06Speaker 2: has been Olympics for the past two weeks. Now what
- 0:09Speaker 2: do we like? What we watch now? Why? Like there's
- 0:13Speaker 2: no sporting events that around in the middle of the afternoon,
- 0:15Speaker 2: sports that I'll we'll think of again for another four years.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Now what do we do? Man? That was an awesome
- 0:21Speaker 2: Winter Olympics, was it? Yeah? That's great? Like you really
- 0:24Speaker 2: take away the results from the Winter Olympics. Men's and
- 0:29Speaker 2: women's hockey won the gold medal in just insane fashion
- 0:33Speaker 2: two over Canada. You know, like we are the hockey
- 0:38Speaker 2: superpower in the world now not Canada. I feel are power.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Doesn't even feel right. It's like, oh that's what they got.
- 0:44Speaker 2: They got hockey, you know, how are power? That's like
- 0:47Speaker 2: them beating us in like football or something. Oh, man,
- 0:51Speaker 2: that's what they're gonna come for. They're coming for the
- 0:53Speaker 2: flag football gold at the LA Summer Games. That's what
- 0:56Speaker 2: it's gonna be. Let's pay take it away from us,
- 1:00Speaker 2: like the two hockey gold medals, Alyssa Loo winning the
- 1:03Speaker 2: figure skating gold medal, just like hell, yeah, it was
- 1:06Speaker 2: a good Olympics. For the USA.
- 1:08Speaker 3: There, you know, just something on every day that I
- 1:10Speaker 3: could watch that I would never watch in the world.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, at any point felt kind of bad for
- 1:15Speaker 2: Sidney Crosby. But I feel like it makes Sidney Crosby's
- 1:18Speaker 2: legend grow even more that Team Canada could not win
- 1:21Speaker 2: the gold medal without him playing in the gold medal game.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Obviously missed last two games. Yeah, like it's weird to
- 1:30Speaker 2: say like that, but like yeah, it's like, oh, they
- 1:32Speaker 2: always win when sid plays. Sid got the golden goal,
- 1:36Speaker 2: you know, but then without him, what happens? Team USA
- 1:40Speaker 2: beats it? And man, that the moment where they go
- 1:43Speaker 2: get Johnny Goudreau's kids and bring him out on the
- 1:46Speaker 2: ice to take the picture with the whole team. You know,
- 1:49Speaker 2: a guy who was probably gonna be on that team
- 1:52Speaker 2: who you know, him and his brother killed by a
- 1:54Speaker 2: drunk driver. It just that story was like, oh God,
- 1:58Speaker 2: it's impossible not to like get emotional watching you see those.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Two guys skate off and you're like, well those guys doing, yeah,
- 2:04Speaker 3: like where they going They're going to get beers too
- 2:06Speaker 3: early for beers, you get beers on the ice. They
- 2:08Speaker 3: come back with just as little kids yeah, and then
- 2:11Speaker 3: they Yeah, that was a pretty awesome moment.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Man. The Olympics make you feel things, don't they. You
- 2:17Speaker 2: just go into it with like all right, we'll see
- 2:19Speaker 2: what this is, and they they just make you feel things.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Did you really go get Canadian Facebook comments about the Olympics? Yeah,
- 2:26Speaker 2: I dug in. I dug in losing both gold metals.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I dug in. You went and got a whole country's
- 2:33Speaker 2: Facebook comments, like Canada is known for being very nice.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I didn't know what I was gonna get, but I
- 2:37Speaker 2: dug in. Okay, all right, Canada Facebook comments coming up
- 2:40Speaker 2: around seven to twenty five On the Kiss Morning Free
- 2:43Speaker 2: Show this morning, it's Mikey and Bob might hit a
- 2:47Speaker 2: little clenched butt cheek driving on your way into work
- 2:51Speaker 2: today because snowing out there this morning, you know, like
- 2:55Speaker 2: we we aren't getting the massive snow that they're getting
- 2:58Speaker 2: on the East Coast, Like these coasts getting here with
- 3:00Speaker 2: like a full of snow.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Again, like we just did not that long ago. Dude,
- 3:03Speaker 3: I made it halfway down seventy nine this morning. It
- 3:05Speaker 3: turned into a damn snow globe out of nowhere.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it was kind of fine when I was driving
- 3:09Speaker 2: in this morning, so it must have just been starting
- 3:11Speaker 2: this morning, so be a little bit careful out on
- 3:13Speaker 2: the roadways. There it's Mikey and Bob the ninety six
- 3:15Speaker 2: to one Kiss Morning Freak Show. Let's get to another
- 3:17Speaker 2: talkback message here. You can send him through the free
- 3:19Speaker 2: iHeartRadio app if you want to be part of the show.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Brought to us by One Team Media.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Am favorite human Imbertenmant.
- 3:24Speaker 2: It's Laura from Kenny Hey.
- 3:25Speaker 5: So I just got done watching US versus Canada, and
- 3:29Speaker 5: of course.
- 3:29Speaker 2: US Suite got gold, and then I was like, I
- 3:32Speaker 2: wonder if Sidney Crossley's going to be there.
- 3:34Speaker 1: He is an Oh my god, guys, he's gray.
- 3:38Speaker 5: He got such great hair going on there, and me
- 3:42Speaker 5: and him are like the same age.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Canada looks so pissed for coming in second. Yeah,
- 3:47Speaker 2: Canada did not look happy they came in second. And yeah,
- 3:50Speaker 2: Sidney Crossey had some grays for a while now, he
- 3:54Speaker 2: didn't seem like ultra gray or anything at the Olympics.
- 3:57Speaker 2: That's how he's looked for I think a couple of
- 3:59Speaker 2: years now. He's not twenty anymore. Yeah, yeah, he's not
- 4:03Speaker 2: said the kid. Okay, he's said the old grizzled veteran. Now,
- 4:08Speaker 2: let me just play this because I just got to
- 4:10Speaker 2: hear it, because honestly, I had to hear this a
- 4:13Speaker 2: couple of times because the first time I heard it,
- 4:15Speaker 2: first time it happened, I was yelling too loud. When
- 4:17Speaker 2: Jack Hughes scold scored the golden goal in overtime. So
- 4:21Speaker 2: here was the call on NBC.
- 4:23Speaker 6: Jack Hughes puts a rob a call that just takes
- 4:26Speaker 6: with numbers.
- 4:28Speaker 1: As of cups, jack us.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Witch look for the United States.
- 4:37Speaker 6: For the first time since the nineteen any bear calls
- 4:40Speaker 6: in the United States.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Takes the call. I mean play free bird man. Just
- 4:46Speaker 2: every every highlight you see, it's just free bird in
- 4:48Speaker 2: the background. Uh, it's incredible. Jack Hughes, who plays for
- 4:52Speaker 2: the New Jersey Devils, takes a high stick in the
- 4:55Speaker 2: third period, bloody mouth tea knocked out, heith gone, and
- 4:59Speaker 2: he scores the game winner. First men's US hockey gold
- 5:02Speaker 2: medal since the Miracle on Ice in nineteen eighty, forty
- 5:06Speaker 2: six years to the day when the US upset the Soviets.
- 5:11Speaker 2: But speaking of Sidney Crosby, now it's back to reality.
- 5:14Speaker 2: The Penguin's next game is this Thursday at home. Sidney Crosby.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I think he was close to playing in the gold
- 5:23Speaker 2: medal game, but just you know, thought, all right, let
- 5:25Speaker 2: me give it to because when sid goes out, one
- 5:28Speaker 2: of the best players in the NHL steps in to
- 5:30Speaker 2: fill his spot. It's not like it's like I don't
- 5:32Speaker 2: trust the third line guy, right, No, like they're all
- 5:35Speaker 2: the best players in the world. So yeah, well, hopefully
- 5:39Speaker 2: Sid is okay, and we'll be back for Thursday. We'll
- 5:41Speaker 2: hear from Sidney Crosby coming up after the Olympics and
- 5:45Speaker 2: his thoughts around six forty and then, as Bob said,
- 5:48Speaker 2: he's got Canadian Facebook comments on the show around seven
- 5:52Speaker 2: to twenty five. It's Mike and Bobbers Mikey and Bob Podcast.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Let's just get into this here.
- 6:01Speaker 1: We're all going to learn something together.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Right now.
- 6:04Speaker 7: It's time to find out what the hell is this
- 6:07Speaker 7: sitting with Mikey and bad.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Are people like trapped in Mexico right now? Like, are
- 6:12Speaker 2: there people trying to get back to their countries because
- 6:15Speaker 2: Mexico is not doing too great right now now? Civil unrest. Yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 2: if you haven't heard the story, Mexican military forces killed
- 6:26Speaker 2: Elmentcho one of the most powerful drug traffickers in the world.
- 6:30Speaker 2: He's got you know, whole Mexican drug cartel fetanyl, meth cocaine.
- 6:35Speaker 2: US had a fifteen million dollar reward for him. The
- 6:38Speaker 2: US did not send troops, but they did help with
- 6:41Speaker 2: the intelligence and tracking of his of his demise, so
- 6:45Speaker 2: they just.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Let the Mexican army know, just like, yeah, we know
- 6:48Speaker 3: where your guy is. Yeah, there you go. Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 2: So they take him out. And now what happens is
- 6:55Speaker 2: there's a lot of unrest. Now when cartel leaders are
- 6:58Speaker 2: usually killed or arrested, groups start to retaliate or they
- 7:02Speaker 2: try to grab power. So rides in the streets, blockades
- 7:06Speaker 2: of like burning cars, blocking highways, yeah, burning down businesses.
- 7:11Speaker 2: It's uh yeah. Cities like Guadalajara saw widespread chaos after
- 7:18Speaker 2: this Mexican drug kingpin was taken out over the weekend.
- 7:23Speaker 2: But then, you know, like a lot of that is scary.
- 7:26Speaker 2: But then did you see Punch the monkey. Punch the
- 7:30Speaker 2: monkey at the zoo near u It's near Tokyo, right,
- 7:33Speaker 2: Punch the Monkey captured my heart this week. Listen, man,
- 7:37Speaker 2: Punch the Monkey gave us the feelings we need to feel.
- 7:40Speaker 2: This little baby snow monkey's like six seven months old.
- 7:43Speaker 2: If you haven't seen the video Punch. His mom abandoned
- 7:46Speaker 2: him at like shortly after he was born, which sometimes
- 7:50Speaker 2: can happen, I guess, but since baby monkeys usually cling
- 7:53Speaker 2: to their moms, the zoo staff gave him a tiny
- 7:57Speaker 2: stuffed little orangutank toy, right, Yeah, and he's hugging it.
- 8:02Speaker 2: He's carrying it everywhere, he's sleeping with it. The punch
- 8:05Speaker 2: the monkey videos if you want to feel good, he's
- 8:08Speaker 2: just he's a little guy, little guy with a little stuffy.
- 8:12Speaker 3: And then the other monkeys in the exhibit started beating
- 8:15Speaker 3: up on him a little bit.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yeah, they started pushing them away and stuff. But the
- 8:19Speaker 2: zoo tried to like downplay that. They just said, that's
- 8:21Speaker 2: pretty much normal monkey behavior. Like it don't don't act
- 8:25Speaker 2: like this is it said? They sell down everybody. You know,
- 8:28Speaker 2: we're not like letting Punch the monkey get abused or
- 8:30Speaker 2: anything like that, right, but uh, it is just taking
- 8:34Speaker 2: off like the little rangutan that he has is selling
- 8:38Speaker 2: out everywhere, and uh it's Nika stuffy like that's what
- 8:43Speaker 2: it is. Yeah, I mean, there's just memes and there's
- 8:46Speaker 2: tons of people going to that zoo. Now, so yeah,
- 8:49Speaker 2: you know, there can be a lot of bad happening
- 8:51Speaker 2: in the world sometimes, but then every now and then
- 8:54Speaker 2: a Punch the monkey comes along where you're just like
- 8:57Speaker 2: that is that is the cutest thing I've ever scene.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Look at Punch the monkeys.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Within seventy two hours on the internet, it went from
- 9:04Speaker 3: like Punch is just so cute and cuddly, and then
- 9:06Speaker 3: Punch gets beat up by the other monkeys and then
- 9:09Speaker 3: just like the latest videos I saw was like you said,
- 9:12Speaker 3: like the zoo saying like this is okay, and then
- 9:14Speaker 3: I saw just a thousand people online to wait and
- 9:17Speaker 3: waiting to see Punch come out in his exhibit.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I also saw a Punch does have backup now though
- 9:22Speaker 2: I think there's an I saw him like walking around
- 9:25Speaker 2: with I'm not even joking. I watch it. Watched him
- 9:27Speaker 2: walk around with like a security monkey. It looked like
- 9:29Speaker 2: like I think they know Punch is now a famous
- 9:32Speaker 2: monkey and we need to protect Punch at all costs,
- 9:34Speaker 2: Punch his bodyguards, thousand thousand people waiting to see Punch.
- 9:38Speaker 2: It's weird that here we are on a Monday morning. Man,
- 9:40Speaker 2: this is what happens when there's no Steeler football to
- 9:43Speaker 2: talk about, right, and we're just talking about Punch the Monkey.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Oh is he over at the zoo?
- 9:47Speaker 8: There?
- 9:48Speaker 2: No, he's over in Tokyo and none of us are
- 9:50Speaker 2: gonna see Punch the Monkey. But man, he capture our
- 9:53Speaker 2: hearts over the weekend. All right. We hear from Sidney Crosby.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Obviously he missed the gold medal game US win. He's
- 10:00Speaker 2: going to be coming back to Pittsburgh. Who knows the
- 10:03Speaker 2: status of sid but uh, Canadian Broadcast did talk to
- 10:07Speaker 2: Sidney Crosby after the Olympics. We will have that coming
- 10:10Speaker 2: up around six forty. It's Mikey and Bobby the Mikey
- 10:14Speaker 2: and Bob Podcast. Good Morning, Good, good morning, Arning, good Arning,
- 10:22Speaker 2: dreamed the Mikey and Bob Podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
- 10:26Speaker 2: do you get your podcasts. Gins are pride all over
- 10:31Speaker 2: the Olympics now that it has completed. Congratulations to Jasmine
- 10:36Speaker 2: Jones from Greensburg went to Hempfield. She won bronze and
- 10:43Speaker 2: the two women Bob Sledge. So congrats to Jasmine Jones.
- 10:46Speaker 2: That was awesome. Of course, we had a couple of
- 10:48Speaker 2: local ladies win the gold medal for the US women's team,
- 10:52Speaker 2: Gwyneth Phillips Shady Side Academy and Avan McNaughton of course,
- 10:57Speaker 2: one of the goalies from seven Fields area. And then
- 11:00Speaker 2: for the men, Vincent Trocheck from Upper Saint Clair and JT.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Miller of course Coreopolis area. Congrats to those boys bringing
- 11:09Speaker 2: home the golden medals. It's Mikey and Bob the Kiss
- 11:13Speaker 2: Morning Free Show. After a Team USA beats Team Canada
- 11:19Speaker 2: two to one in overtime, Jack Hughes with the golden
- 11:23Speaker 2: goal missing some teeth from a high stick. Just what
- 11:26Speaker 2: an incredible way. And the the Olympic Games. I think
- 11:31Speaker 2: a lot of us as Penguins fans though, were just like,
- 11:34Speaker 2: you know, it helped me feel just like, all right,
- 11:39Speaker 2: just kick the hell out of Team Canada now, Like
- 11:42Speaker 2: not like I wouldn't be cheering for him anyway, but
- 11:44Speaker 2: then like you sort of feel bags it's like, oh,
- 11:46Speaker 2: sid didn't win another one. But then playing you're like, okay,
- 11:50Speaker 2: all right, just go ahead, go ahead, just don't hurt
- 11:54Speaker 2: Sid anymore. We need, you know, go USA, but we
- 11:58Speaker 2: need Sid on Thursday right to play for US. So
- 12:02Speaker 2: here was Sidney Crosby after the loss. A lot He's
- 12:05Speaker 2: you're playing than watching.
- 12:06Speaker 9: But you know, I think everyone should be should be
- 12:09Speaker 9: proud the way the team performed. The thought that obviously
- 12:12Speaker 9: we did everything. What's what's score in every in every facet,
- 12:15Speaker 9: we were just we were so good today. I thought
- 12:17Speaker 9: we deserve better. And unfortunately, uh yeah, you know, didn't
- 12:20Speaker 9: come away to win.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I think from all of us, you know, just being
- 12:23Speaker 2: around Sid and following his career and being part of
- 12:26Speaker 2: the journey and everything. You know, how bad that must
- 12:29Speaker 2: have tore him up to not play in the Golden
- 12:32Speaker 2: medal game right there and watch him lose. Yeah, And
- 12:34Speaker 2: there was people like this might be his final game.
- 12:37Speaker 2: It's like, okay, yeah right, you don't think this guy's
- 12:39Speaker 2: gonna want a gold medal in four years again to revenge? Right? Yeah? Sure,
- 12:43Speaker 2: by then he's going to be like the Yoda of
- 12:45Speaker 2: the team. You know, he might just be there for
- 12:48Speaker 2: you know, who are we kidding? He's still gonna be
- 12:50Speaker 2: a top five player in the NHL in four years.
- 12:52Speaker 10: Uh.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Sid was asked how close he was to playing in
- 12:55Speaker 2: the gold medal game, like, I think this is positive
- 12:57Speaker 2: for Penguins fans because he was close. That's pretty close.
- 13:02Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean Ultimately, I wasn't able to go out
- 13:04Speaker 9: there and do what I need to do in order
- 13:06Speaker 9: to help the team. So at that point you got
- 13:08Speaker 9: to make a decision that's that's best for the group.
- 13:10Speaker 9: And yeah, not an easy one, but you know, that's hockey.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Yeah, when you stay close, do you mean like if
- 13:16Speaker 2: there's a game on Thursday, you'd be able to play?
- 13:19Speaker 2: So say you had to play Jack Hughes's team, who
- 13:23Speaker 2: he just basically stole the gold medal from. You said,
- 13:26Speaker 2: say they were coming to town on Thursday, would you
- 13:29Speaker 2: be ready then, Not like it's a revenge game against
- 13:34Speaker 2: Jack Hughes or anything, but you know, a little bit
- 13:37Speaker 2: you were Sidney Crosby on how he just supported the
- 13:40Speaker 2: team even though you obviously couldn't play.
- 13:42Speaker 9: That's hard, that's hard. I think you just try to
- 13:44Speaker 9: be around and be a positive influence. I thought one
- 13:48Speaker 9: of our best games is probably today, you know, and unfortunately,
- 13:51Speaker 9: you know, it doesn't work out for us. But like
- 13:53Speaker 9: I said, just really proud of the group and the
- 13:56Speaker 9: way we competed and the way we played.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I kind of love that you can just hear free
- 14:00Speaker 2: Bird and hooting and hollering in the background from the
- 14:03Speaker 2: other locker room. But yeah, you know, you feel bad
- 14:06Speaker 2: for Sidney Crosby because we know how much of a
- 14:09Speaker 2: sort of serial killer hockey player he is, you know,
- 14:12Speaker 2: and he wanted to be out there really bad. But oops,
- 14:14Speaker 2: us wins the gold medal in men's and women's hockey,
- 14:17Speaker 2: and we dominate hockey now right well, looking on, Man
- 14:22Speaker 2: Canada can't win a Stanley Cup and now we take
- 14:25Speaker 2: their gold medals in hockey toobe Man Canada. By the way,
- 14:29Speaker 2: Bob has Canadian Facebook comments to get to around seven
- 14:34Speaker 2: to twenty five. We will get to those. Also, we
- 14:38Speaker 2: have uncovered what might be the weird Florida story of
- 14:41Speaker 2: the year. A drunk guy, a stranger's pool. Some French
- 14:46Speaker 2: Fries are involved, a lot going on. We'll get to
- 14:49Speaker 2: that Florida story around eight twenty five. It's Mikey Bob
- 14:52Speaker 2: Kiss Morning Freak Show. Hey, Bruno Mars has his new album,
- 14:57Speaker 2: The Romantic coming out this Friday. Bruno Mars taking over
- 15:00Speaker 2: the station in TikTok to play exclusive songs from the
- 15:03Speaker 2: new album before it even comes out. You can hear
- 15:06Speaker 2: Bruno's special album preview this Thursday, nine pm right here
- 15:11Speaker 2: on ninety six to one Kiss and you can watch
- 15:13Speaker 2: it live on TikTok. It's Mikey and Bob the ninety
- 15:16Speaker 2: six to one Kiss Morning Free Show. We had your
- 15:18Speaker 2: chance to go see Don Tolliver. He's playing the Arena
- 15:22Speaker 2: at the end of May. Don Tolliver tickets coming up
- 15:24Speaker 2: on the show this week around eight thirty and then
- 15:27Speaker 2: three thirty with Tall Cathy. Right now, though, Bob, it's
- 15:30Speaker 2: time to take everybody back to a moment in the
- 15:32Speaker 2: show that made us laugh, made us smile. The East
- 15:35Speaker 2: Coast is getting hit with a snowstorm right now. We
- 15:38Speaker 2: are barely missing it here in Pittsburgh, Like we got
- 15:40Speaker 2: some snow out there, and like yeah, but man, we
- 15:43Speaker 2: aren't getting like the foot that the East Coast, you know,
- 15:47Speaker 2: like New York and the Philly, Jersey area, Boston, they're
- 15:50Speaker 2: all getting hit with this big storm again like we
- 15:52Speaker 2: got not that long ago. So for today in Freak
- 15:55Speaker 2: Show History, I want to take you back to a
- 15:57Speaker 2: lady from New Jersey describing a very windy storm that
- 16:01Speaker 2: happened a couple of years ago. Right around this it's
- 16:04Speaker 2: the Gloria Lady. Bobby.
- 16:06Speaker 11: All right, here we go, let's get to this history today.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I mean whether it's snow or wind or rain, people
- 16:24Speaker 2: talking about an aggressive storm. A severe storm is always
- 16:30Speaker 2: gonna make the news and make a smile. And then
- 16:32Speaker 2: it got real dark, and then things started. I've never
- 16:36Speaker 2: seen the wind blew like I did. It blew so
- 16:41Speaker 2: to us, said, Glory, that's Gloria. Let's get in the top.
- 16:49Speaker 2: It's Gloria, Gloria. Let's get it all right. Hold on,
- 17:00Speaker 2: there's Mark and I ran in the top. I said,
- 17:05Speaker 2: I was doing like Dorothy.
- 17:07Speaker 8: I said, well, if you're gonna take the log, you're
- 17:09Speaker 8: gonna take me in the tub.
- 17:10Speaker 2: All right. Hold on. She was doing like Dorothy on
- 17:12Speaker 2: Wizard of Oz. If you're gonna take me, Lord, you're
- 17:15Speaker 2: gonna take me in the town. If you're gonna take
- 17:17Speaker 2: the lot, you're gonna take me in the tob You're
- 17:20Speaker 2: gonna take me, Lord, You're gonna take me in the top.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Not just me, Gloria.
- 17:24Speaker 12: Gloria is coming to all right, hold on, because I'm
- 17:27Speaker 12: gonna sit here and tell us all.
- 17:30Speaker 2: My sister got at the tub and me and.
- 17:32Speaker 13: Her we was like, okay, we're gonna stay here.
- 17:35Speaker 2: And then it's beautiful. Next thing, I know everything her
- 17:38Speaker 2: things going boom.
- 17:39Speaker 13: Bample I said, ooh, it's beautiful Sounddy, it's beautiful sound
- 17:45Speaker 13: effects of what the storm in central New Jersey sounded like.
- 17:48Speaker 2: As she's hiding in the top and he's going boom,
- 17:51Speaker 2: bample I said, ooh, things going boom bam boom. I said, Oh,
- 17:55Speaker 2: we're gonna go with a bang okay, And then everything
- 17:59Speaker 2: got quiet, accid, okay. So we came back out.
- 18:04Speaker 13: Just someone was that, all right, that's how it ends,
- 18:07Speaker 13: with all the chaos, with all of the you know,
- 18:12Speaker 13: with all the into tornado, screaming.
- 18:14Speaker 2: For Gloria, Gloria, all of that, just all that, take
- 18:18Speaker 2: me in the tub, all of it.
- 18:20Speaker 13: If you take me a lot, you're gonna take me
- 18:22Speaker 13: in that whole.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Interview, and then it just ends with and then we
- 18:26Speaker 2: got out of the tub and went outside.
- 18:27Speaker 12: Just someone was that, if you have something nice to
- 18:33Speaker 12: say about someone something, we're gonna do a round of
- 18:37Speaker 12: say something nice on the show.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Somebody you want to shout out that's just been a
- 18:42Speaker 2: positive in your life or good over the weekend. Yeah,
- 18:45Speaker 2: or just spread some good cheer to others and make everybody,
- 18:49Speaker 2: you know, help us get through this little snowy Monday
- 18:52Speaker 2: morning we got going on here. You can send your
- 18:54Speaker 2: messages through the free iHeartRadio app. We'll get to a
- 18:56Speaker 2: round to say something nice coming up around seven to
- 18:58Speaker 2: fifty five here on the Kiss Morning Freak Show. It
- 19:00Speaker 2: is Mikey and Bob. It's the time to check in
- 19:03Speaker 2: with the Pittsburgh Police Scanner account. A couple of people
- 19:05Speaker 2: will just listen to the Pittsburgh Police Scanner. They post
- 19:08Speaker 2: about it on social media. They have their own website
- 19:10Speaker 2: pghdash scanner dot com. It is time to check in
- 19:14Speaker 2: with the Pittsburgh Police Scanner and find out what is
- 19:16Speaker 2: happening in and around our neighborhood. Arlington police said they
- 19:24Speaker 2: were driving by just saw a deer standing there with
- 19:28Speaker 2: a bucket stuck on its head. Oh no, yeah, well
- 19:31Speaker 2: bucket head deer, buckethead, Yeah, bucket head deer. I always
- 19:36Speaker 2: wonder what kind of bucket it is, because the full bucket, well,
- 19:39Speaker 2: it's probably a reason that the deer has a bucket
- 19:43Speaker 2: on its head, probably like there's something in the bucket
- 19:46Speaker 2: that made the deer want to get in that bucket,
- 19:48Speaker 2: you know, some food or something in that bucket that
- 19:52Speaker 2: made that deer want to put the bucket on its head.
- 19:54Speaker 2: You know that's that's mile. Hey, a deer has a
- 19:58Speaker 2: bucket on its head, and get the proper people out
- 20:00Speaker 2: there and get the bucket off there and keep it moving.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Also happening in and around our city. Perry South caller
- 20:08Speaker 2: said that grandpa got drunk at a function and is
- 20:13Speaker 2: throwing coats at people. Got drunk Grandpa and they can't
- 20:16Speaker 2: get him to stop. Somebody, we can't get him the
- 20:22Speaker 2: cool wall. Grandpa's drunk in the function, throwing coat what's
- 20:26Speaker 2: he doing? Like, was there like a place, you know,
- 20:30Speaker 2: like maybe like a coat check or something like that,
- 20:33Speaker 2: some place where the the the coats are piling up.
- 20:37Speaker 2: It's hammered. Hey, you don't want this drunk Gramdpa to
- 20:40Speaker 2: see your ass because I know you were wearing shorts
- 20:42Speaker 2: last week. Oh my god, he would have been throwing
- 20:44Speaker 2: pants at you. You know, maybe he's just trying to
- 20:46Speaker 2: keep people healthy, you know, So drunk Grandpa's thrown coats
- 20:50Speaker 2: at people. Grandpa. No, And finally, Carrick Burger king on
- 20:56Speaker 2: Brownsville Road caller says, they're appears to be a man
- 21:01Speaker 2: who started a fight with a broom. That's a difficult fight.
- 21:12Speaker 2: We're squaring up with a broom. How do you fight
- 21:14Speaker 2: a broom like? You're not standing it up, It's more
- 21:17Speaker 2: like you're dancing with the broom, I would think. Right,
- 21:20Speaker 2: it's gotten to the point where the police needed to
- 21:21Speaker 2: be called. So the police reported that they separated the
- 21:25Speaker 2: man in the broom. Both were being detained. Also, what
- 21:29Speaker 2: laws are breaking there? You tell me what law you
- 21:32Speaker 2: just broke? Just public disturbance, maybe trespassing. They're just throwing
- 21:38Speaker 2: King wanted them out, throwing the broom around. See. I
- 21:40Speaker 2: think if you fight a broom like, I can't just like,
- 21:43Speaker 2: how do you even where you put? Maybe with practicing
- 21:46Speaker 2: wrestling moves on it? Man? You think he was witching
- 21:49Speaker 2: it up and had it between his lands. He was
- 21:50Speaker 2: just smacking the thing back and forth. You know. That's
- 21:55Speaker 2: what's happening in and around our city. All Right, Canada
- 22:01Speaker 2: loses the gold medal, US wins gold in women's and
- 22:05Speaker 2: men's hockey. Canada is no longer a hockey superpower, right,
- 22:09Speaker 2: we are the country of hockey now we are. Okay,
- 22:14Speaker 2: We're gonna listen. Canadians are nice, right they are. We're
- 22:17Speaker 2: gonna check in with Canadian Facebook comments coming up around
- 22:20Speaker 2: seven to twenty five. Also one of the weirdest Florida
- 22:23Speaker 2: stories we might have all year. A drunk Guy is
- 22:25Speaker 2: Stranger's pool and French fries all in one story. We'll
- 22:29Speaker 2: get to that around eight twenty five. It's Mike and
- 22:31Speaker 2: Bob Kiss. If you miss any of the live show,
- 22:35Speaker 2: get caught up with our Mike and Bob podcast every
- 22:37Speaker 2: day on the free iHeartRadio app. It's also where you
- 22:39Speaker 2: can send your talkback messages if you want to be
- 22:42Speaker 2: part of the show. It is Kiss Morning Freak Show
- 22:45Speaker 2: all about hockey. Team USA takes out Team Canada and
- 22:50Speaker 2: the men's hockey first gold medal for them since nineteen
- 22:53Speaker 2: eighty and the miracle on ice.
- 22:55Speaker 3: The TV ratings are gonna be in things because it
- 22:57Speaker 3: felt like everybody was up. Yeah, they're just sitting there
- 23:00Speaker 3: Sunday morning just watching it.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Love early Sunday morning, sports Man. It was so good,
- 23:06Speaker 2: Like after the game was done and you're done with everything,
- 23:08Speaker 2: you're just like, oh, it's not even like afternoon yet.
- 23:12Speaker 2: It's awesome. Jack Hughes of the New Jersey Devil scored
- 23:17Speaker 2: the golden goal after he took a stick in the
- 23:20Speaker 2: third period bloody mouth, missing a tooth. Team USA wins
- 23:24Speaker 2: the gold medal, play free bird. Everybody's going nuts. US women,
- 23:29Speaker 2: US men win the hockey gold. And then we went
- 23:35Speaker 2: to the Team Canada facebook comments. How boy, are you
- 23:39Speaker 2: going to deep dark place on the internet.
- 23:43Speaker 12: It's time for NY six one kiss Facebook comments?
- 23:47Speaker 2: Team Canada Facebook comments after they lose the gold medals
- 23:51Speaker 2: to the USA. Michael w I guess hockey is in
- 23:55Speaker 2: our game in Canada anymore. A can't win a damn
- 23:59Speaker 2: stamp cupping now this the women and the man. How
- 24:04Speaker 2: I need to go outside and take a walk by
- 24:06Speaker 2: the lake, but I can't even do that because there's
- 24:09Speaker 2: blowing snow outside and it's like five degrees. I'm absolutely rotted. Rotted.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Canada is not okay, Stephanie b. Austin Matthews finally winning something.
- 24:23Speaker 2: God knows he can't win a Stanley Cup for my
- 24:25Speaker 2: maple leaves. You know what, Austin Matthews, a good job.
- 24:28Speaker 2: He's the gold medal. George b Here fix was in
- 24:33Speaker 2: to keep Sydney Crosby out of the games. That's what
- 24:36Speaker 2: it was. The ref sucks, Okay, I'm putting a curse
- 24:39Speaker 2: on that holeser around it. Dudas it took shit out
- 24:43Speaker 2: damon a lot of bitter biscuits on here. It was
- 24:46Speaker 2: one of the greatest hockey games I've ever seen played. Yeah,
- 24:49Speaker 2: it was. It was an incredible game.
- 24:51Speaker 3: The Canadian facebook comments are weird too, because everybody's so nice.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Yeah that they aren't aggressive, but they're dealing with their
- 24:58Speaker 2: own hockey demons right now, right yeah, Jamie c here
- 25:02Speaker 2: in the Team Canada facebook comments. My Pap drank a
- 25:06Speaker 2: mickey and was flexing his Molson muscles at the bar
- 25:11Speaker 2: after the loss, trying to tune up a buddy who
- 25:14Speaker 2: was talking about Crosby not playing. Oh Man Moulson muscles
- 25:20Speaker 2: after ready to fight Eric t Connor McDavid. Still can't
- 25:23Speaker 2: get the big one, budd, He's a choker on the ice,
- 25:26Speaker 2: all right. Well, not everybody's nice in Canada, that I guess, huh,
- 25:29Speaker 2: Paul j. The miracle was the goalie, not the players.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Hockey is tragic and beautiful. I cried twice watching the
- 25:36Speaker 2: game today when Canada loss and when USA brought out
- 25:40Speaker 2: Gudro's kids for the team picture. All right, Canada seats,
- 25:43Speaker 2: it's nice. This was a moment we allre That was
- 25:45Speaker 2: an Olympic moment we all appreciated. And one more here
- 25:49Speaker 2: in the Team Canada facebook comments after they lose both
- 25:52Speaker 2: gold medals and hockey David g well, at least we
- 25:56Speaker 2: still got free healthcare. Okay, valid point. Yeah, but we
- 26:02Speaker 2: got hockey gold medals. Okay, we got all your medals.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Doesn't matter. We will do a round them. Say something
- 26:12Speaker 2: nice to start off the week. It's cold out, there's
- 26:15Speaker 2: some snow on the ground, and uh, you know, let's
- 26:19Speaker 2: start Monday off with some positivity, right, Seven fifty five
- 26:23Speaker 2: will get to around to say something nice. If you
- 26:24Speaker 2: have something nice to say about somebody, you can either
- 26:26Speaker 2: call or send a message through the three iHeartRadio app.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Right now, let's get to this learn something together.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Right now, it's time to find that what the hell
- 26:35Speaker 1: is this?
- 26:36Speaker 2: Sitting with Mikey and bad all right, the Baptist we
- 26:40Speaker 2: were yesterday, right, that's sort of that's the British Film Awards,
- 26:44Speaker 2: right and uh, the movie one Battle after another took
- 26:47Speaker 2: home the biggest awards like Best Film, Best Director and everything.
- 26:51Speaker 2: But man, and this kind of sucks because all that
- 26:54Speaker 2: people are gonna be talking about is the Turet's moment.
- 26:58Speaker 2: There is a Tourett's syndrum activist named John Davidson, who
- 27:03Speaker 2: had several outbursts during the bafters. One there was women
- 27:09Speaker 2: up on stage and he was, you know, just swearing
- 27:12Speaker 2: face no place, which is very troubled.
- 27:16Speaker 14: We are delighted to be presenting the BAFTA for Supporting
- 27:20Speaker 14: Actor this evening.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Obviously we have to beep out these these words. He's
- 27:25Speaker 2: just we can't air them. He's sitting there in a
- 27:27Speaker 2: quiet auditorium. Yeah, during speeches, wow, and his tics are
- 27:31Speaker 2: going off and everything. And then Michael B. Jordan and
- 27:39Speaker 2: Delroy Lindo from Sinners Right, obviously a great movie. They
- 27:43Speaker 2: come up to present an award and this was the
- 27:46Speaker 2: one that obviously is getting a lot of conversation going online.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Jo and R are delighted to be presenting the first
- 27:54Speaker 2: baft of the night for a vital part of movie making. Okay,
- 28:00Speaker 2: we're too art. Obviously I can't play the word, but
- 28:03Speaker 2: you know it was a slur directed towards black people, right, right,
- 28:08Speaker 2: But the guy has turet so involuntarily, you know, like
- 28:12Speaker 2: he can't control what he's saying. And then Alan Cummings,
- 28:17Speaker 2: who was hosting the Baptist he went up there and
- 28:20Speaker 2: tried to, I guess, sort of make the situation better.
- 28:23Speaker 15: You may have had some strong and offensive language tonight.
- 28:25Speaker 15: If you have seen the film, I swear you will
- 28:27Speaker 15: know that film is but the experience of a person
- 28:30Speaker 15: with Tuette syndrome. Towet syndrome is a disability and the
- 28:33Speaker 15: ticks you' her tonight are involuntary, which means the person
- 28:36Speaker 15: who has Thwete syndrome has no control over their language.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah. He also went on to say, we apologize if
- 28:42Speaker 2: you are offended tonight. Then The Sinner's production designer Hannah
- 28:46Speaker 2: Beechler posted on social media. She said, I know we
- 28:50Speaker 2: must handle this with grace and continue to push through,
- 28:53Speaker 2: but what made the situation worse was the throwaway apology
- 28:58Speaker 2: of if you were offended the end of the show,
- 29:01Speaker 2: and the guy reportedly left at the UH during the
- 29:06Speaker 2: second half of the show. They didn't make him leave,
- 29:08Speaker 2: they didn't kick him out or anything like that. I
- 29:10Speaker 2: don't even think they edited any of the moments from
- 29:13Speaker 2: the broadcast, because then you're sort of taken away the condition.
- 29:17Speaker 2: But obviously, man, I don't have an answer here, and
- 29:21Speaker 2: I don't think I'm the person that should be looking
- 29:24Speaker 2: for an answer here, right, because there's definitely some people
- 29:27Speaker 2: who are gonna feel some type of way sure about
- 29:29Speaker 2: the Turett's community. But then obviously you can't just yell
- 29:32Speaker 2: a racial slur it. I don't know, I don't know
- 29:37Speaker 2: how this one works. This one's a This seems like
- 29:41Speaker 2: something that nobody could have predicted whatever sort of happened,
- 29:47Speaker 2: And how do we handle this one? Because obviously you
- 29:49Speaker 2: can't say certain words, but also if you have a
- 29:52Speaker 2: condition that involuntary makes you scream certain words.
- 29:55Speaker 3: I mean, there's nothing this guy can do to control it.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Like that's the thing. It's beyond it control. So obviously,
- 30:02Speaker 3: but what do you do if you're the producers. He's
- 30:04Speaker 3: there because he's gonna win an award, you know.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Like yeah, yeah, and then like I don't know if
- 30:08Speaker 2: there is a right answer to be completely honest, and
- 30:11Speaker 2: then do you apologize for his behavior that he can't control.
- 30:14Speaker 2: It's yeah, it's not. And I think they waited like
- 30:18Speaker 2: an hour or to address, right They they let the outburst,
- 30:22Speaker 2: you know, roll through the show, and then people sort
- 30:25Speaker 2: of sit there, and then they finally addressed what was
- 30:28Speaker 2: happening and maybe a reason why it was happening and
- 30:30Speaker 2: what you were hearing, you know. Yeah, so that's the
- 30:33Speaker 2: situation with the baff does Again, that's why that's trending
- 30:36Speaker 2: other than you know, movies won awards and whatnot. Well,
- 30:39Speaker 2: but it also sucks because Sinners made baf to history,
- 30:42Speaker 2: becoming the most decorated movie by a black director at
- 30:45Speaker 2: the awards. So but I feel like that gets overshadowed
- 30:48Speaker 2: because Tourett's guy was in the audience and you know,
- 30:51Speaker 2: he was yelling things, which that's obviously the headline now.
- 30:54Speaker 2: But also I'm sure the guy didn't want to uh.
- 30:57Speaker 2: I'm sure that he knew it was a possibility. Yeah,
- 31:00Speaker 2: I wasn't a choice by any means. But also after
- 31:02Speaker 2: a couple he's probably like, okay, I'm actually taking away
- 31:05Speaker 2: from other people's stories. Right he did, he did. He
- 31:08Speaker 2: just laughed voluntarily, like they didn't kick him out or anything.
- 31:11Speaker 2: So yeah, a lot of heavy conversation about what happened
- 31:15Speaker 2: at the Baptist last night. By the end of the
- 31:21Speaker 2: Olympics yesterday, I really wanted those stuffed mascots that everybody
- 31:26Speaker 2: got when they want to medal, you know, I won them.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Weird look of mascots.
- 31:31Speaker 3: I love them handing those over to the Canadian hockey teams.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Nate McKinnon of the Avalanche had the best reaction of like,
- 31:39Speaker 2: what am I supposed to do with this? Like what
- 31:41Speaker 2: is going on? He looked a weird thing to hand
- 31:45Speaker 2: out too. No, see, I think it gave him a
- 31:47Speaker 2: gift bag or something. I see. I think it's great.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I think it's great that they give stuffed animals too,
- 31:53Speaker 2: like that stuffed the animal, especially if you have a kid,
- 31:56Speaker 2: like you know, like think of Jake Denzel. Dude, by
- 31:59Speaker 2: the way, Jake Kensel gold medalist. What's just did he
- 32:05Speaker 2: get sent to the penalty box in the game? Yes
- 32:06Speaker 2: he did and they lose. No, they didn't make's going
- 32:09Speaker 2: work out there? Hey, Jake Denzil is like a top
- 32:11Speaker 2: five person on our show. He's been on our show
- 32:14Speaker 2: three times, which I think puts him in the top five. Yeah,
- 32:18Speaker 2: most repeated guests in show history. Yeah, congrats. The former
- 32:21Speaker 2: peng with Jake Denzil always been really nice to uh,
- 32:25Speaker 2: to us and uh, you know, especially his uh his
- 32:29Speaker 2: wife Natalie too, would always be involved with our stuff,
- 32:32Speaker 2: boss when she was here with the Lady pens and everything.
- 32:34Speaker 2: And yeah, but I just thought when he you know,
- 32:36Speaker 2: they're getting out the stuffed animals, like, that's really cool.
- 32:39Speaker 2: If you have a young kid or something, that's something
- 32:41Speaker 2: that it's like, hey, I got my gold medal, but
- 32:44Speaker 2: you got a little something too, kid, right, unless your
- 32:46Speaker 2: heart just got ripped out, well, yeah, that's the true silver.
- 32:49Speaker 2: That's true. That's true. You probably want to just give
- 32:53Speaker 2: them back the stuffed animal be like, I'm good, I
- 32:56Speaker 2: don't need a stuffy to cud on. That stands all right.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Let's le's get to say something nice here on the
- 33:01Speaker 2: Kiss Morning Freak Show. It is Mikey and Bob. We've
- 33:04Speaker 2: been doing this for a while on the show now.
- 33:06Speaker 2: A lot of bad going out in the world. So
- 33:07Speaker 2: let's get positive and just give you a chance to
- 33:09Speaker 2: say something nice to someone or something. Say something nice,
- 33:17Speaker 2: Say something nice.
- 33:18Speaker 8: Hey, guys. So this is a combo say something nice
- 33:20Speaker 8: and a recommendation for fish Friday. Oh say something nice
- 33:25Speaker 8: part comes in for Chef Tom because I'm telling you
- 33:27Speaker 8: what he did the damn thing with that Krabby cake sandwich.
- 33:30Speaker 8: I went out on Friday and got it and it
- 33:33Speaker 8: was amazing, absolutely loved it. You will not be sorry,
- 33:37Speaker 8: love you guys.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Say something nice, Say something nice. Yeah, Chef Tom from
- 33:45Speaker 2: Get Go, our friend's over there, the new Krabby cake sandwich.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Yeah it's real good.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's good. He brought something in for fish fry
- 33:54Speaker 2: Friday on Friday. Yeah, let's get to this one here.

- 34:11Speaker 1: You, Bob.
- 34:11Speaker 2: I just wanted to say that.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I am very thankful for my mom and dad because.
- 34:18Speaker 8: They take care of me and I love them.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Love you bye. Oh my gosh, what a message. He
- 34:28Speaker 2: say something nice, say something nice. It's like our version
- 34:32Speaker 2: of punch the Monkey. Right there. Well, kid, right, let's
- 34:37Speaker 2: get to another one.
- 34:37Speaker 16: Here, Bob catching up on the podcast, but I am
- 34:42Speaker 16: a week behind. So I wanted to to say something
- 34:47Speaker 16: nice for my boyfriend.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:49Speaker 16: He is the director of security at a.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Mall, all right, and I'm not going.
- 34:52Speaker 16: To say his name, but he helps defend the rights
- 34:56Speaker 16: of his trans workers and keeps them safe. So I
- 35:00Speaker 16: love him.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I admire him. He's my hero. Oh yeah, I'm all guy,
- 35:04Speaker 2: I'm right. Say something nice, say something nice? All right?
- 35:10Speaker 2: Good round there, right, solid round. If you got something
- 35:12Speaker 2: nice to say about somebody, you can send it through
- 35:14Speaker 2: the free iHeartRadio app. Send us a talkback message if
- 35:18Speaker 2: you got something nice to say but positive. I like
- 35:21Speaker 2: how we just have this kid now nice Like imagine
- 35:29Speaker 2: that little kid carrying around the little stuff d rangutang right,
- 35:34Speaker 2: it's our little punch the monkey there. It's like a
- 35:37Speaker 2: little show mascot. Right all right. We have maybe the
- 35:41Speaker 2: best Florida story of the year coming up around eight
- 35:45Speaker 2: twenty five. It has to do It has to do
- 35:48Speaker 2: with a drunk guy, a stranger's pool, some French fries,
- 35:52Speaker 2: and maybe the best eyewitness we have heard out of
- 35:55Speaker 2: the state of Florida in forever. That's coming up around
- 35:58Speaker 2: eight twenty five. It's Mike you mop. Obviously a sad
- 36:01Speaker 2: weekend for uh the Pirates organization, the passing of legendary
- 36:06Speaker 2: Hall of Famer Bill Mazeroski, who has just one of
- 36:10Speaker 2: the if not the most iconic moment in Pirate's history.
- 36:14Speaker 2: I mean, other than when Cueto dropped that ball. No
- 36:19Speaker 2: he like, they beat the Yankees.
- 36:21Speaker 10: Walk off World Series horn in nineteen sixty My.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Crowd that root sports yeah, yeah, nineteen sixty right, Greg Brown, Yeah,
- 36:47Speaker 2: it was who is that a young Brown? Yeah? Yeah?
- 36:51Speaker 2: Obviously it means so much to uh the city and
- 36:54Speaker 2: Pirate's history. You know, when you have a statue, when
- 36:57Speaker 2: you're a statue person in this city, when you get
- 36:59Speaker 2: at your big deal. Yeah, so obviously some sad news.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Eighty nine years old, rest in peace through Pirates Legend
- 37:06Speaker 2: Hall of Famer, uh Bill Mazerowski. Just a great ending
- 37:11Speaker 2: to the Winter Olympics yesterday, like from the like Alyssa
- 37:17Speaker 2: lou and the figure skating that was awesome, Women's winning
- 37:21Speaker 2: the gold medal in hockey over Canada that was awesome,
- 37:24Speaker 2: and then the guys getting it done yesterday. Jack Hughes
- 37:28Speaker 2: with the golden goal. Uh here he was after the game.
- 37:32Speaker 2: That's such an uneavable game.
- 37:34Speaker 1: USA Canada.
- 37:35Speaker 2: That's such a good game. They have so many great players,
- 37:38Speaker 2: wear a great team. That's exactly how we wanted to
- 37:42Speaker 2: go to go. We want going to go through Canada
- 37:44Speaker 2: and beat them and so pretty won either ways. But
- 37:47Speaker 2: that's Americans. Yeah. Sidney Crosby did not play for Team Canada.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Still injuried. Uh, still injuried. He uh he missed the
- 37:56Speaker 2: final two games. He's out there skating though. He said
- 37:59Speaker 2: he was pretty close to playing, but again, I think
- 38:02Speaker 2: he plays if it's a regular sort of scenario, maybe
- 38:06Speaker 2: with with The's, if he's with the Penguins in this
- 38:08Speaker 2: like Game seven of the Stanley Cup Final. Right, But
- 38:11Speaker 2: when you're on Team Canada, you know, next guy up,
- 38:13Speaker 2: even though he might not be Sidney Crosby, he's probably
- 38:16Speaker 2: the best player on his team, so it's it's not
- 38:19Speaker 2: that big of a drop off. Also, it doesn't look
- 38:21Speaker 2: like Canada can win without Sidney Crosby, you know, as
- 38:25Speaker 2: sad as you know obviously want USA to win the gold,
- 38:28Speaker 2: then you sort of feel bad for sid Right, Are
- 38:31Speaker 2: we ever gonna have to see Sidney Crosby lose a
- 38:33Speaker 2: gold medal, because in my mind, he didn't lose without him.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Maybe they win the gold medal with him he was
- 38:40Speaker 2: not there. Yeah, congrats to a couple of local boys
- 38:43Speaker 2: who were on the team, Vincent Trocheck and j T.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Miller obviously winning gold, and then Gweneth Phillips and Avan
- 38:49Speaker 2: McNaughton for the for the women. I thought it was
- 38:52Speaker 2: absolutely great what Mike Turrico said at the end of
- 38:56Speaker 2: the hockey coverage before they went on to the closing ceremonies.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Did you hear what he said, like after the men's
- 39:05Speaker 2: gold medal win, this is like after everything calmed down,
- 39:08Speaker 2: they stopped playing free Bird on loop fifty times and everything,
- 39:11Speaker 2: and this sort of my Tarrico, you know, sort of
- 39:14Speaker 2: living in the moment. Yeah.
- 39:16Speaker 17: Yeah, what you saw today was the build of a generation,
- 39:19Speaker 17: inspired perhaps by that team that lost in twenty ten
- 39:22Speaker 17: in Vancouver to the Sydney Crosby Golden Gold get overtime,
- 39:26Speaker 17: or the team where tj Oshan all those shootout goals
- 39:29Speaker 17: in twenty fourteen. That's when these guys were doing what
- 39:32Speaker 17: you're doing. Watch it on TV, and they were young
- 39:35Speaker 17: and they were living the dream. So for all the
- 39:38Speaker 17: young people out there, not just the hockey but all
- 39:40Speaker 17: the Olympus you've watched those dreams are formed.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Now go chase them and go get them.
- 39:46Speaker 17: Because our country loves sports and it brings us together.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Unlike anything else. Yeah, there's a lot going on in
- 39:51Speaker 2: the country, has been for a while, but man, it
- 39:54Speaker 2: is there is I don't know if there's an event
- 39:58Speaker 2: that can bring the country together like we just saw
- 40:01Speaker 2: with with with hockey. You know, like that he's so
- 40:05Speaker 2: right when it says sports can bring us all together,
- 40:08Speaker 2: because we're obviously all cheering for for Team USA there,
- 40:12Speaker 2: and I just loved what he said about like, hey,
- 40:14Speaker 2: all these guys they were like watching at home like
- 40:16Speaker 2: you are now, like you can you can do it.
- 40:19Speaker 2: I just thought NBC's whole coverage of the Olympics was great.
- 40:23Speaker 2: I hope it never goes to another network because I
- 40:25Speaker 2: I I trust NBC with my Olympics coverage. I'm gonna
- 40:28Speaker 2: miss it, though, I'm gonna miss the gold Zone. Like
- 40:31Speaker 2: what do I do today? I watch Gold Zone every
- 40:33Speaker 2: day today for like the past two weeks in the afternoon.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Where's can I just have gold Zone of people? Like
- 40:39Speaker 2: working in the office, I need to turn on something
- 40:41Speaker 2: that has eight screens on it in the middle of
- 40:43Speaker 2: the afternoon. You trick me that the Olympics are still happening. Hey,
- 40:47Speaker 2: we got Paralympics starting. I think it's yeah, I think
- 40:51Speaker 2: it's like a week and a half something like that.
- 40:53Speaker 2: You know what over I think I might be in
- 40:56Speaker 2: this year. Okay, they showed me a little tease of
- 40:59Speaker 2: some of them skiers. I think I might tickle the
- 41:02Speaker 2: Paralympics a little bit. This seed my fix, all right?
- 41:05Speaker 2: Coming up next on the show, we might have the
- 41:06Speaker 2: Florida story of the year. Here, it just there's always
- 41:10Speaker 2: weird things happening down in Florida. There's a drunk guy,
- 41:12Speaker 2: strangers pool, some French fries, and maybe the best Florida
- 41:15Speaker 2: eyewitness that they've ever talked to about anything on any
- 41:19Speaker 2: Florida news before. I'm not over selling this. This is
- 41:23Speaker 2: an amazing Florida story coming up around eight twenty five
- 41:26Speaker 2: and your Don Tolliver tickets around eight thirty. It's Mikey
- 41:29Speaker 2: and Bob Kiss Your chance in just a couple of
- 41:36Speaker 2: minutes if you want to go see Don Tolliver at
- 41:38Speaker 2: the Arena in May. Don Tolliver tickets all this week
- 41:41Speaker 2: on the show. Coming up next on the Kiss Morning
- 41:44Speaker 2: Freak Show, it is Mikey and Bob. Now, Florida story
- 41:47Speaker 2: has just been a staple of our show for years
- 41:49Speaker 2: and years now, and this is an all timer here.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Let's get down to Florida. Here we go contention with
- 41:56Speaker 2: all the listeners of a Freak show. Boy, it's time
- 41:58Speaker 2: to double to the sunshine. Yes, that's another Florida story.
- 42:04Speaker 2: All right, down to Florida we go.
- 42:06Speaker 10: Drunk man is accused of breaking into someone's Lenai and
- 42:09Speaker 10: port Charlotte, then falling into their pool.
- 42:11Speaker 5: Christopher's a brick. He claim to be a CIA agent.
- 42:15Speaker 18: How do you know who he was?
- 42:16Speaker 2: All right now, this guy that you just heard from here,
- 42:19Speaker 2: I didn't know who he was. That is somebody who
- 42:22Speaker 2: lives in the neighborhood named Rusty. They interview this guy
- 42:25Speaker 2: named Rusty. How do you know he was? He has
- 42:28Speaker 2: a cowboy hat on and is drinking a coarse light
- 42:31Speaker 2: during his news interview. Again, Rusty's not the guy that
- 42:34Speaker 2: fell in the street. That's the guy who drank too
- 42:37Speaker 2: much vodka, ended up a mile from his home and
- 42:39Speaker 2: wanted to go for a dip.
- 42:40Speaker 5: Deputy say, he drank so much vodka Thursday afternoon.
- 42:44Speaker 2: He told them he forgot where he lived. Oh yeah, okay,
- 42:49Speaker 2: So again that's Rusty, who has nothing to do with
- 42:51Speaker 2: the story. They're telling Rusty the story. He's like, yeah, drinking,
- 42:56Speaker 2: drank a bunch of anty, forgot where he lived. He
- 42:59Speaker 2: that've been there. Yeah, it's a cowboy hat on, drinking
- 43:02Speaker 2: a corse.
- 43:03Speaker 5: The couple that lives in this house told me a
- 43:05Speaker 5: stranger knocked on their door asking to stay for a
- 43:08Speaker 5: few days, and.
- 43:09Speaker 2: I just stay for a few days. The old Florida Airbnb.
- 43:12Speaker 2: He told him go bother someone else.
- 43:14Speaker 5: Yeah, he instead of leaving ZUBRICKI made his way inside their.
- 43:17Speaker 18: The nine I gotta shove my boot so far up,
- 43:21Speaker 18: didn't taye some leather for awake?
- 43:25Speaker 3: Again, Florida newsneeds to bring Rusty in for everything to
- 43:29Speaker 3: comment on every Florida story.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Let him do the weather. Who cares to be like
- 43:34Speaker 2: a Florida commentator again? It's a it's a neighbor named Rusty.
- 43:38Speaker 2: You had nothing to do with the story. He's got
- 43:40Speaker 2: a cowboy hat on, he's drinking a corpse light. And
- 43:43Speaker 2: you know if it would have been his house, if
- 43:45Speaker 2: you would await from the Rusty school.
- 43:47Speaker 18: I gotta shove my boot so far up, didn't tay
- 43:51Speaker 18: leather for awake.
- 43:52Speaker 2: You don't want to mess with Rusty.
- 43:53Speaker 19: They called nine one, and moments later they heard us splash.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Okay, all right, so again this guy's too drunk. Does
- 44:00Speaker 2: it know where he's at, doesn't know where he lived,
- 44:01Speaker 2: and now has fallen into a stranger's pool.
- 44:04Speaker 19: The stranger fell through their pool cover into the pool,
- 44:07Speaker 19: then climbed out of the pool and knocked on the door.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Okay, what do you think he wants Do you think
- 44:12Speaker 2: he wants some place to stay? He already got denied that,
- 44:15Speaker 2: this time asking for French fries. Oh, he just wants
- 44:18Speaker 2: French fries, towel and a towel, please, French fries and
- 44:21Speaker 2: a towel. All right, So he's so drunk he fell
- 44:23Speaker 2: in a pool. He's a mile away from his house. Knock, knock,
- 44:27Speaker 2: I need a towel and I need some French fries.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Well we're gonna hear from Rusty again. Right, what's ross
- 44:33Speaker 2: you think about that again? Russy's just a high witness
- 44:35Speaker 2: who lives in the neighborhood. He's wearing a cowboy hat,
- 44:37Speaker 2: drinking corps light was niked Rusty asking the hard questions.
- 44:46Speaker 18: Thank god, you do I want to be seeing him.
- 44:50Speaker 18: Pecker's there in your backyard.
- 44:54Speaker 2: No you don't, Rusty, No, you don't. Last thing I
- 45:02Speaker 2: want to see in my backyard it is Florida making
- 45:08Speaker 2: the show once again. All right, here's your chance at
- 45:11Speaker 2: don Tolliver tickets. Good luck. Right, you can dance. We
- 45:14Speaker 2: could dance on the giving away don Tolliver tickets all
- 45:17Speaker 2: this week. Liz from Pleasant Hills, your collar nine, You're
- 45:20Speaker 2: going to see Don tolliver y Monday morning yea, yay,
- 45:26Speaker 2: Monday morning, Yay More Don tolliver tickets around three point
- 45:30Speaker 2: thirty later this afternoon with h with Tall Kathy. I
- 45:33Speaker 2: know there's a lot of people who are watching The
- 45:35Speaker 2: Night of the Seven Kingdoms, like the Game of Thrones
- 45:37Speaker 2: show on HBO had the season finale, season one last night.
- 45:41Speaker 2: I gotta get caught up. I haven't watched an episode yet,
- 45:43Speaker 2: so I know a lot of people are watching that.
- 45:45Speaker 2: But one thing that Bob is watching right now. You
- 45:49Speaker 2: finally got caught up on Love is Blind, the new
- 45:52Speaker 2: season on Netflix. Unbelievable. I told you this, Chris Guys,
- 45:57Speaker 2: I told you you weren't ready for the christ. Yeah.
- 46:01Speaker 2: I think I undersold. What a creep that guy is. Right,
- 46:06Speaker 2: but there is there is a moment that I watched
- 46:10Speaker 2: a lot of like horrible trash TV, like, yeah, nothing
- 46:15Speaker 2: like this. Yeah, didn't even see it coming. I really didn't. Yeah,
- 46:19Speaker 2: we get uh. Well, I love that you want to turn.
- 46:23Speaker 2: I love that you called me over the weekend and
- 46:25Speaker 2: we discussed Love is Blind, like just me and you
- 46:30Speaker 2: were just gabbing about it. Had to spill the tea
- 46:33Speaker 2: about Love is Blind. Just a couple of buddies talking
- 46:36Speaker 2: about a reality show to Find Love on Netflix. What, Yeah,
- 46:41Speaker 2: I know, we get uh we get two more episodes
- 46:44Speaker 2: of this season and Love is Blind to come out
- 46:46Speaker 2: on uh on on Wednesday. Yeah, real quick, Let me
- 46:49Speaker 2: get to this talk back message here again. Send him
- 46:51Speaker 2: through the free iHeartRadio app brought to us by the
- 46:53Speaker 2: Pavement Group. Another show that is in that top ten
- 46:56Speaker 2: on on Netflix.
- 46:58Speaker 8: Hey guys, so this is going to be a weird
- 47:00Speaker 8: one probably, But apparently Eric Dane did a secret interview
- 47:04Speaker 8: with Netflix and was told not to release it until
- 47:07Speaker 8: after his passing.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the actor Eric Dane who passed last
- 47:11Speaker 2: week Mixed Steamy on Grey's Anatomy, was also on Euphoria
- 47:16Speaker 2: and they really did a Netflix special called like Famous
- 47:18Speaker 2: Last Words, and they taped it with him. He was
- 47:22Speaker 2: battling als. You could see he was battling it when
- 47:26Speaker 2: this was taped, and they didn't air it until after
- 47:29Speaker 2: he passed.
- 47:29Speaker 8: And its words for his daughters, and I recommend not
- 47:32Speaker 8: watching it in this You need that release to cry
- 47:36Speaker 8: because it will tear you down. It was the most
- 47:40Speaker 8: beautiful thing, even though it was sad. Yeah, I love you, guys.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I haven't watched it, and I don't know if
- 47:48Speaker 2: I want to watch. But that's an interesting idea that
- 47:53Speaker 2: Netflix has going here. But then again, like when do
- 47:56Speaker 2: you go record that? You have to wait until you
- 47:57Speaker 2: have some sort of illness that there's a short life
- 48:02Speaker 2: span on and then you just get with Netflix and
- 48:05Speaker 2: be like, well, I'm ready to do famous last words,
- 48:08Speaker 2: Like it's kind of a sad thing to have to record,
- 48:10Speaker 2: But then again, it's your chance to sort of you know,
- 48:14Speaker 2: what else are you gonna do? Make an Instagram post
- 48:16Speaker 2: before you die or something like It's it's not a
- 48:19Speaker 2: bad idea, but there.
- 48:21Speaker 3: You don't know how that's gonna He's got two kids,
- 48:24Speaker 3: like teenagers. Yeah, that's going out to the world like
- 48:28Speaker 3: your dad's very person final dying methods. I don't know
- 48:32Speaker 3: if he had to talk with them before and explain
- 48:34Speaker 3: what he was doing, Like, I'm sure there had to
- 48:36Speaker 3: be something, but it seems I just I have no
- 48:38Speaker 3: I have no desire to watch it, Like, yeah, not
- 48:41Speaker 3: my thing. I'd rather sit back and watch a little
- 48:43Speaker 3: Love is Blind. That that disaster is enough for me. Okay, No,
- 48:48Speaker 3: no tears in Love is Blind? You ever cry happy tears?
- 48:51Speaker 2: During Love is Blind.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Oh no, no.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Probably not gonna miss you the way it's going all right.
- 48:57Speaker 2: But yeah, it's obviously, like she said, if you want
- 48:59Speaker 2: to check out, it's on Netflix. But it's just like,
- 49:02Speaker 2: I don't know that stuff, and maybe what you're going
- 49:04Speaker 2: through in your life right now, it's a little too
- 49:06Speaker 2: heavy for me too to watch. All right. Hey, how
- 49:09Speaker 2: about that Alex guy in Love is Blind too? A
- 49:11Speaker 2: soccer player? Guy even get started finally ding Ohio, my
- 49:19Speaker 2: heart radio said, the Olympics are over. What do I
- 49:25Speaker 2: do in the mid of the afternoon? Now? Oh no, man,
- 49:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna miss curling. Curly. Curling was on every day.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Curling was just there for me every day. It's like
- 49:37Speaker 2: a comfort show to watch, you know. It was. Curling
- 49:40Speaker 2: went on like the entire two weeks of the Olympics.
- 49:43Speaker 2: It felt like just great to always have curling there.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Where do I watch curling now? Actually that I'm not
- 49:48Speaker 2: gonna lie. I don't want to watch curling anymore. May
- 49:51Speaker 2: give it to me again in four years. I'll be
- 49:52Speaker 2: pumped about it. Dude. Winter Olympics, man, just sports to.
- 49:56Speaker 3: Go away, you know, you know, we got kind of
- 50:00Speaker 3: kind of some pirates spring training games in the afternoon
- 50:03Speaker 3: that it really need something to watch.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Settle down, man, I'd rather take a nap. It's not
- 50:10Speaker 2: even like full squads. Just don't come with me. Don't
- 50:15Speaker 2: go ahead and watch pirate. I try it all right,
- 50:19Speaker 2: it's Mikey about the ninety six one Kiss Morning Freak Show.
- 50:22Speaker 2: We will get to Sidney Crosby. He spoke after obviously,
- 50:25Speaker 2: the US beats Canada, uh yesterday to win the gold medal,
- 50:28Speaker 2: the first since nineteen eighty. Sidney Crosby didn't play, but
- 50:31Speaker 2: he did speak after the game. Get Sidney Crosby's comments
- 50:34Speaker 2: coming up next here on the show. Hey, congrats to
- 50:37Speaker 2: uh everybody over at Penn State. You know every year
- 50:40Speaker 2: they just crush it with their Thon Dance Marathon. You
- 50:43Speaker 2: know that they do amazing kids there. Yeah, they've been
- 50:46Speaker 2: doing it for so many years. Another record setting year
- 50:49Speaker 2: at Penn State's Thon, raising eighteen point eight million dollars
- 50:54Speaker 2: to support four Diamonds, which funds pediatric cancer care and
- 50:58Speaker 2: research at Penn State Hell Children's Hospital. So just a
- 51:02Speaker 2: great job by the kids at Penn State. Again, that
- 51:04Speaker 2: is the uh, that's the bar for you know, things
- 51:08Speaker 2: like that with colleges. Yeah. Yeah, it's not like it's
- 51:10Speaker 2: one big donor and it's you know, everybody coming together
- 51:13Speaker 2: for a cause. It's awesome. Yeah, over eighteen point eight
- 51:17Speaker 2: million dollars. Let's get to a talkback message here, send
- 51:19Speaker 2: him through the free iHeartRadio approa to us by the
- 51:21Speaker 2: pavement groups, our friend Mills on the mot.
- 51:23Speaker 14: Hey, guys, Mills on the mountain here. I was also
- 51:25Speaker 14: really chuckling at the nitny ninja turtles.
- 51:28Speaker 2: Listen.
- 51:29Speaker 14: There's just a vibe in that town. All kinds of
- 51:31Speaker 14: weird stuff going on.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Yeah, there was. There was what a naked guy in Chase.
- 51:36Speaker 2: He said he thought he was being chased by ninjas. Yeah, yeah, no,
- 51:40Speaker 2: he thought he was being chased by turtles. I think
- 51:42Speaker 2: it was no ninja. It was ninja's Okay, it was
- 51:44Speaker 2: the ninja turtles. Okay, turtle. That's the story.
- 51:48Speaker 14: Also made me chuckle because I lived there for a
- 51:49Speaker 14: few years.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:50Speaker 14: Did you ever hear about the story about the professor
- 51:54Speaker 14: who got caught, Well, I guess for years was basically
- 51:58Speaker 14: running around naked in uh, some of the woods in
- 52:02Speaker 14: state college in that area.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Okay, that's not normal. Yeah, sounds like an urban legend
- 52:07Speaker 2: professor there run around naked in the woods.
- 52:09Speaker 14: He would just wear a mak like a face mask
- 52:11Speaker 14: or a head mask, but he would ski mask whatever,
- 52:14Speaker 14: but he would run around naked. And I guess he
- 52:17Speaker 14: was doing it for years. Some people who have camps
- 52:18Speaker 14: out there hasn't seen him. I can't remember the full story,
- 52:23Speaker 14: but there was something about you want to there was
- 52:25Speaker 14: soap that kept getting stolen in the public park restrooms,
- 52:29Speaker 14: and they put out trail cams and eventually found him.
- 52:34Speaker 2: Pretty wild. Yeah, stay college Bigfoot or what it was?
- 52:38Speaker 2: A professor that would go naked into the woods. Okay.
- 52:41Speaker 2: I looked up some of the details of history. So
- 52:43Speaker 2: it was in twenty twenty four, aoutumn on trail camps.
- 52:46Speaker 2: There's enough details that are even too much for our show.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Oh wow, Like I read some of the details and
- 52:51Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't even want to mention that he
- 52:54Speaker 2: was a little more than blown off steam out there
- 52:56Speaker 2: he was doing. He didn't He did a little bit
- 53:00Speaker 2: more than just wanting to feel the cool air on
- 53:02Speaker 2: his naked body. He was out there performing, Okay, he
- 53:05Speaker 2: wasn't trying to feel nature out there as well. He
- 53:08Speaker 2: was trying to feel nature. Actually that was the problem.
- 53:11Speaker 2: That was the problem, all right. He was getting a
- 53:13Speaker 2: little too close to note Jay. So yeah, thank you
- 53:16Speaker 2: for the message of their mills on the mount, but yeah,
- 53:19Speaker 2: the details of that story were a little too much
- 53:21Speaker 2: even for our show. We'll do another round of why
- 53:24Speaker 2: the hell is this trending coming up around nine to
- 53:25Speaker 2: twenty five, including the big controversy that happened at the
- 53:28Speaker 2: BAFTA Awards last night. It is Mikey, It is Bob
- 53:32Speaker 2: the ninety six to one Kiss Morning Freak Show all
- 53:34Speaker 2: about those Winter Olympics yesterday, seeing the US men's team
- 53:38Speaker 2: get the overtime goal, the golden goal scored by Jack Hughes.
- 53:44Speaker 2: Is Jack Hughes the one that's supposed to be Dayton
- 53:46Speaker 2: Tate McCrae. Yeah, I think so, really, Yeah, nice job there, Jackie,
- 53:51Speaker 2: Buddy strole that from Canada too. Gosh, public enemy number one,
- 53:57Speaker 2: well number two, never mind number two, number two number
- 54:02Speaker 2: probably getting me number two for Canada. Here was Jack Hughes,
- 54:05Speaker 2: the overtime golden goal. Jack Hughes puts McCall that takes
- 54:09Speaker 2: with numbers so good. The cofflic Cutts Jacks with chicks.
- 54:20Speaker 6: The first time since the nineteen any bear golf in
- 54:24Speaker 6: the United States takes the golf.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it was just an incredible moment. You know, you
- 54:29Speaker 2: just you feel the patriotism of it all. And you know,
- 54:33Speaker 2: people that have probably been watching hockey and even Olympic
- 54:37Speaker 2: hockey and World hockey for years and years, and a
- 54:40Speaker 2: lot of them have been together for years and years,
- 54:42Speaker 2: and uh, yeah, it was really cool to see them
- 54:45Speaker 2: whin the gold medal, not only in men's hockey but
- 54:47Speaker 2: women's hockey. Two and Sydney Crosby didn't play. Apparently his
- 54:50Speaker 2: injury was bad enough. You know, he missed the final
- 54:53Speaker 2: two games for Team Canada. This was said after Team
- 54:57Speaker 2: Canada loses playing than than watching.
- 55:00Speaker 9: But you know, I think everyone should be should be
- 55:03Speaker 9: proud the way the team performed. I thought that obviously
- 55:06Speaker 9: we did everything. What's what's score in every in every facet,
- 55:09Speaker 9: we were just we were so good today. I thought
- 55:11Speaker 9: we deserved better and unfortunately, uh, you know, didn't come
- 55:14Speaker 9: away to win.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Here was Sidney Crosby who's asked how close he
- 55:17Speaker 2: was to playing. That's pretty close.
- 55:20Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean, ultimately I wasn't able to go out
- 55:22Speaker 9: there and and do what I need to do in
- 55:24Speaker 9: order to help the team. So at that point you
- 55:26Speaker 9: got to make a decision that's that's best for the group.
- 55:28Speaker 9: And yeah, not an easy one, but you know that's hockey.
- 55:32Speaker 2: You got a sort of love freebird just playing in
- 55:34Speaker 2: the background. Wow, Didn'ty Crosby? You know? And he says
- 55:37Speaker 2: he is close? Dude?
- 55:38Speaker 3: Does that mean close? Like he's good for Thursday when
- 55:41Speaker 3: the Pens come back, like close?
- 55:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Penguin's back then home on Thursday. That's we'll see
- 55:46Speaker 2: how close he was. But then again, do you be
- 55:48Speaker 2: cautious with his injury? You give him like another week
- 55:51Speaker 2: off and say, you know what a lot of traveling,
- 55:53Speaker 2: a lot of practicing, you know, Olympics probably jet lag
- 55:57Speaker 2: you a lot and everything moving and moving away for
- 55:59Speaker 2: two weeks and just getting off your regular routine extra day.
- 56:03Speaker 2: We'll see whatever sid needs, you know. But yeah, it
- 56:06Speaker 2: kind of sucked the Nazi sid playing that gold medal game,
- 56:09Speaker 2: even though you know kend Of may may have had
- 56:12Speaker 2: a better chance. But the legend grows for Sidney Crosby.
- 56:14Speaker 2: I think can't win without them. You know it's awesome too, uh,
- 56:18Speaker 2: seeing Jay Kensel get gold medal. Yeah, you know, yeah. Yeah,
- 56:21Speaker 2: his wife and kid seeing that, and you know what
- 56:23Speaker 2: else was cool about Sully Man, it's like the he's
- 56:27Speaker 2: is he the greatest American hockey coach ever? Like I know,
- 56:30Speaker 2: people you know, throw out other names there, but two,
- 56:33Speaker 2: this guy's not won to to Stanley Cubs. That depends
- 56:37Speaker 2: on the modern day.
- 56:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, probably right, like you can you can debate
- 56:40Speaker 3: probably over the years of coaches, but like, yeah, like
- 56:43Speaker 3: Herb Brooks nineteen eighty miracle on ice guy, but that
- 56:47Speaker 3: dude wasn't he wasn't putting in the stand cups like.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Our generation of coach. Yeah yeah, the best American hockey
- 56:54Speaker 2: head coach, right, yeah, yeah, you know, And I don't
- 56:57Speaker 2: think the city has any for those two at all.
- 57:01Speaker 2: I think those two left, you know, Ja Jacob. They're
- 57:07Speaker 2: like two former pain you know, player and coach that
- 57:10Speaker 2: are just always gonna be legends around here. I think,
- 57:13Speaker 2: you know, I think left on good terms trade and
- 57:16Speaker 2: Sully stepped away with time to go. Yeah, but yeah,
- 57:18Speaker 2: congratulations obviously to Jake Kensel Mike Sullivan. Uh for you know,
- 57:24Speaker 2: Sully doesn't get a medal though, but I think winning
- 57:26Speaker 2: the gold medal against Canada was was good enough. Also,
- 57:29Speaker 2: congrats to Vincent Trocheck and J. T. Miller. Obviously they
- 57:33Speaker 2: win the gold medal with the US men's team, Gwyneth Phillips,
- 57:36Speaker 2: Avian McNaughton, UH, some local women for the UH for
- 57:41Speaker 2: the gold medal US hockey team and bronze medal Jasmine
- 57:44Speaker 2: Jones the two women Bob's led teams. She was from
- 57:47Speaker 2: Hempfield High School bringing home some medals. Yeah, you know,
- 57:50Speaker 2: not too bad. Right now, let's get to this le
- 57:53Speaker 2: something together.
- 57:54Speaker 7: Right now, it's time to find that what the hell
- 57:58Speaker 7: is this traiting with Mike and bad all right?
- 58:01Speaker 2: The Bathts were on yesterday, right, that's like British you know,
- 58:05Speaker 2: film Awards all that stuff. One battle after another dominated
- 58:09Speaker 2: six awards, including Best Film. Sinners made Bath the history,
- 58:14Speaker 2: becoming the most decorated movie by a black director at
- 58:17Speaker 2: the awards. But it was when stars of Sinners Michael B.
- 58:23Speaker 2: Jordan and Delroy Lindo were up on stage now to
- 58:27Speaker 2: explain what was going on. There was a tourette syndrome
- 58:31Speaker 2: activist named John Davidson. He had several outbursts during the show.
- 58:36Speaker 2: He's there because his movie, I swear he's like the
- 58:40Speaker 2: nominated He was nominated his life with tourettes. But then
- 58:43Speaker 2: there's a moment up there, obviously two black actors are
- 58:46Speaker 2: up there, and he shouts just because he can't control
- 58:50Speaker 2: it with his turettes, a racial SLURM J and I
- 58:53Speaker 2: are delighted to be presenting the first baft of the
- 58:55Speaker 2: night for a vital part of movie making. To us,
- 59:01Speaker 2: I mean it was uncomfortable because I was just like,
- 59:04Speaker 2: did we just hear what we thought? There were other
- 59:06Speaker 2: points where he was yelling, you know, different curse words
- 59:10Speaker 2: in a place which is very troubled.
- 59:14Speaker 14: We are delighted to be presenting the BAFTA for Supporting
- 59:18Speaker 14: Actor this evening.
- 59:19Speaker 2: Like there are just these They're in a theater that's quiet. Yes,
- 59:24Speaker 2: Host Allen Cummings, he tried to, you know, sort of
- 59:27Speaker 2: explain what's going on.
- 59:28Speaker 15: You may have had some strong and offensive language tonight.
- 59:31Speaker 15: If you have seen the film, I swear you will
- 59:32Speaker 15: know that film is but the experience of a person
- 59:35Speaker 15: with Tourette syndrome. Touet syndrome is a disability and the
- 59:38Speaker 15: TICKSI of her tonight are involuntary, which means the person
- 59:41Speaker 15: who has Thuet syndrome has no control over their language.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he was nominated for several awards, has Tourette syndrome,
- 59:48Speaker 2: uncontrollable swearing, and just says things.
- 59:51Speaker 3: I mean, the guy obviously can't control it. Yes, but
- 59:54Speaker 3: they waited like an hour to address it, where I
- 59:56Speaker 3: think if they would have came out after it happened
- 59:58Speaker 3: the first time and at him step on stage and explain,
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: I may hear some things tonight, and.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: You know, I mean, they should have probably explained that
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: earlier because I.
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: Don't think you need to put a disclaimer on the episode,
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: you know, But just like after when that happened first time,
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: they have the host come out and tell everybody what's
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: going on.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: So yeah, coming the host. He went on to say,
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: you know, we apologize if you are offended tonight, which
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: led Sinners production designer Hannah Beachler to post, I'm I
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: know we must handle this with grace and continue to
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: push through. But what made the situation worse was the
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: throwaway apology if you were offended at the end of
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: the show. The guy with tourettes, John Davidson, reportedly left
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: during the second half of the ceremony, so it's almost like,
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: all right, I can get through this, but then my
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Turettes is almost stealing the show there, and it does
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: suck because that's what I think most people are talking
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: about instead of, you know, other things like Sinners making
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: baff to history most decorated movie by black director. Of course,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: that's the things we should be talking about, and we're mentioning.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: But obviously it's a situation where it's like, well, shocking,
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: you can't say that word. But also, this guy has
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: Tourette's How do we handle this one? And I don't
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: know if there is a I don't know if there's
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: a right answer for it. So that's what was happening
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: at the Batfus the Batfos. Also trending is Mexico because
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: we got we got dead Mexican drug lord El Menshow,
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: one of the most powerful drug traffickers in the world,
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: broke loose. The US had a fifteen million dollar reward
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: on him. US helped with intelligence and tracking but didn't
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: send troops down there. But after his death, violence has
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: now broke out in a lot of parts of Mexico.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: There are a lot of people that are, you know,
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: vacationing at resorts and things like it, like this is
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: not going to do good for like Mexico and like
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: tourism and people wanting to go there at all.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Yeah, today, I know they completely shut down most flights
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: going in and out. I don't know what the deal
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: is this morning, but not great at all.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's obviously a major situation. And then you
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: have Punch, the sweet monkey that we all fell in
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: love with. Like they that zoo needs to make a
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: punch doll, you know, Like I know that.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: The internet took Punch and within like twenty four hours
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: of Punch hitting, like, Punch was everywhere.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: It's all I saw on my feet. It's a baby
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Japanese snow monkey lives in a zoo near Tokyo, six
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: seven months old, was sort of denied by his mother, right,
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: and then the zoo game this little baby baby orangutan
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: to play with. Look cute, plushy to play with, and
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: it was like it's best friend. And if you haven't
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: watched the Punch videos yet, just go on the internet.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: They're the cutest damn thing. But also it breaks your
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: heart because the mom denied him. Punch got bullied at first.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: The last thing I saw is Punch had monkey security
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: with him. Now Punch made bread. I saw Punch walking
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: around with another monkey, and the monkey looked like you know,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: when you see like Taylor Travis go out to dinner,
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: there's always somebody club that's like maybe listening on an earpiece. Yeah,
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure Punch has protection now in Tokyo. But yes,
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: obviously that was one of the things that the Internet
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: just you know, a lot of bad stuff going on.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: And even though the bullying isn't fun, it's sort of
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: you know, normal how monkeys work. But man, seeing that
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: sweet little monkey and it seemed like the whole world
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: just latching onto him was a magical thing. I'm gonna
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: be completely honest. I am more excited this week for
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Love Is Blind episodes ten and eleven on Wednesday, okay,
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: and Bridgerton Season four, Part two on Thursday than I
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: am for Pirates spring training baseball in the start of
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: the NFL Combine. Ah. Yeah, yeah, that's that's fair. Yeah,
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: I agree. The start of the combine and Pirates Spring
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: training baseball are kind of both things where it's like,
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: I think I would be excited about it, but not really,
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: I'm not. There's no need to watch that, right, I
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: didn't even have to pile on that list with a
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: new episode of the Pit or anything like, Hey, NBC,
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: I watched all your Winter Olympics, and I know you're
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: trying to get me to watch something after the Olympics,
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: but despite how many times you showed me commercials and
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: the trailer for it, I will not be watching the
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins on NBC tonight. Tracy Morgan,
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Daniel Ratcliffe. They're trying pretty hard. I know they gave
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: it to push over the Olympics. I just don't think
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I'm I just don't think I have room for that
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: in my in my show watching. I gotta watch the
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: whole Game of Throne show that ended season one last night.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: You know, none of the seven kingdoms I know are
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: getting to Reggie Dinkins. I got time for Reggie Dinkins.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: All right, it's Mikey Bob the Kiss Morning Free Show.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Let's get to our buddy Raccoon Tim here he went
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: to the Reptile Show over the weekend.
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: And Mike and Big Bob's your boy. Raccoon Tim said, Mike,
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: you and Bob now that Reptile Show on Sunday. Once
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: you get Rats walked up to my rat guy and
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: he said, you freaking idiot. He said, I'm out of
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: largest Next time call me so I can put an
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: order aside for you.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: I said, okay, Raccoon Tim has a rat guy as
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: many as you want. I'm serious. I get him a call.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: First off, let him know love that he went to
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: the reptile show and found his rat guy. I was like,
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: hey man, and the rat guy instantly just goes, hey Tim,
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: I'm out of large rats. Like this is a real
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: interaction that happened this week, and I love it.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: I said, if I still drive to Ohio, can you
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: get me a hedgehog?
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Oh? Okay, all right. So now ratcoon Tim's playing let's
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: make a deal with rat guy and saying if I
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: drive to Ohio, can give me a hedgehog? Because I
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: crossed from the borders.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: Yeah, he said yes, He said, I can do you
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: one better.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Oh, get better. You never want the rat guy that
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: can also get you illegal hedgehogs? And tell you you
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: can do one better.
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: You give me thirty days, Oh thirty days.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: What can he get?
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: I can get you a prairie dog.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Okay, oh man, Raccoon Tim's prairie dog in it Ohio. Yeah,
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: you're the best, Raccoon Tim. We always appreciate you listening
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: to the show. So yeah, man, it's dude. The Reptile
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Show should have paid Raccoon Tim. He should have had
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: his own booth at the REP show. You're right, you're right. Wow.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: All right, Well here we are, Bob. End of the show.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: I don't know what to do because I'm not watching
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Olympics right now, like usually towards the end of the show.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Well for most of the show last two weeks, I've
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: been watching Olympics. Yeah, I was focused to this show,
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: a little bit lost Today it's okay, what to do now?
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: And I don't know how this normal life works anymore?
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Remember what life was before the games Man? All right,
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: let's see what do you want to name the podcast today? Bob,
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Rusty Packer, Golden Goal like an email? All right, catch
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: up on the podcast. Have you missed any of the
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: show today? That's it for us. Ryan Seacrest shows up
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: right now, talk Yoe Bye.
- 1:07:00Speaker 17: I'm Pittsburgh ninety six one Kiss and iHeartRadio station
