  Heal us, God. You, Jehovah Jireh.

  You're providing the very next breath in our lungs.
• 0:36
  God, we exalt you. Father God Almighty, we exalt
• 0:41
  you over. Our circumstances.
• 0:44
  We exalt you over our emotions and feelings.
• 0:49
  We exalt you over even the physical reality that our feet
• 0:53
  are standing upon. We exalt you over it all, God,
• 0:57
  and we know that you are able to do anything, God, and we worship
• 1:01
  you in spirit and truth. Today, Lord, we have the faith
• 1:05
  of little children today. We enter into your courts, God,
• 1:11
  with praise and Thanksgiving. We enter into the most high
• 1:15
  place, Father. We enter into the holiest of
• 1:18
  holy places, God, You tore the veil from top to bottom.
• 1:22
  We come in, God. We run into the throne room of
• 1:28
  grace, God, we know that you're covering us with your grace
• 1:32
  today, Father. We know that you are covering
• 1:35
  us, Lord, and you're protecting us, God.
• 1:38
  You formed a hedge around us, God.
• 1:40
  You are healing us in the name of Jesus.
• 1:46
  We thank you, Father, for all the many blessings.
• 1:49
  We thank you, God. For all your spiritual truths,
• 1:52
  we thank you, God, For this holy word that we hold in our hands,
• 1:55
  we thank you, God for family. We thank you, God for law
• 1:59
  enforcement. We thank you, God for first
• 2:01
  responders. We thank you, God for doctors
• 2:04
  and hospitals. We thank you, God for schools
• 2:07
  and teachers. We thank you, God for righteous
• 2:10
  judges and magistrates. God, we thank you for the
• 2:13
  leaders that you've placed over us and we pray for them.
• 2:16
  God, and we pray that the Shekinah glory will rest upon
• 2:20
  the White House. Father, I pray against all
• 2:23
  demonic oppression and possession got an influence on
• 2:28
  this nation. I pray against it in the name of
• 2:31
  Jesus. We push it out by that name, the
• 2:34
  name that is above all names. God, we pray in that name, Jesus
• 2:39
  Christ, and we ask boldly and mightily that you will push back
• 2:44
  all of the darkness and the demonic God and the satanic
• 2:48
  attacks. God, and we pray right now over
• 2:51
  the children, Father, that you will lead them into the fold.
• 2:55
  Father, I pray right now that you will help teenagers to be
• 2:59
  released from the suicidal spirit.
• 3:01
  God, I pray in the name of Jesus for marriages to be reconciled.
• 3:05
  I pray in the name of Jesus for fathers to be able to kick the
• 3:10
  pornography addiction God. I pray in the name of Jesus
• 3:14
  against alcoholism and drug addiction.
• 3:16
  God, I pray for the family unit to be strengthened in this hour.
• 3:21
  God Almighty Lord, I pray right now, Father, that you will have
• 3:27
  your will and have your way in this land.
• 3:29
  And bring revival, Father, from the king to the cattle.
• 3:33
  Lord, bring revival. Lord, let us speak in tongues
• 3:37
  and prophecy. Father, baptism of fire today,
• 3:41
  fresh wind today. Father, on this house I pray.
• 3:45
  Holy Spirit, lead us. Holy Spirit, guide us.
• 3:48
  Holy Spirit, teach us. Holy Spirit, discipline us.
• 3:51
  Holy Spirit, come in, fill us up.

  Yes, be our teacher and our guide.

  Hide me, hide my words, hide my thoughts.

  Holy Spirit, you speak. Holy Spirit, you say what it is

  that you want to say to this wicked and perverse generation.

  God, we rebuke the devourer from off of our families.

  God, we rebuke the devourer from off of our children.

  God, we rebuke the devourer in the name of Jesus.

  Off of our marriages, we rebuke the devourer God, in the name of
• 4:27
  Jesus the Lord, rebuke thee, Satan, get thee behind me, and
• 4:34
  God, you have your way. God, you have the last word.

  God, you clear the air. Lord, you are here.

  Lord, the tangible presence. Father, speak today.

  Say what it is that you want to say.

  In Jesus name I pray, Amen. Let's start in verse one.

  Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days
• 5:18
  of Herod the King, behold, there came wise men from the East to
• 5:23
  Jerusalem. So here we are, we are getting
• 5:31
  to learn more layers and tapestry about Jesus and how he
• 5:39
  rocked the world, how he shook the foundations, everything that
• 5:44
  could be shaken was. And we can see how when he
• 5:50
  arrived on the scene as a little baby, he caused such a stirring
• 5:57
  all the way back from the Angel appearing all the way back from
• 6:01
  the Holy Ghost, who impregnated all the way back.
• 6:06
  We can see it here with the Magi.
• 6:11
  We can see it here with them coming.
• 6:14
  These would have been astrologers.
• 6:16
  These would have been men who were steeped in the occult.
• 6:19
  These would have been men who were studying the stars.
• 6:23
  These would have been men who knew the prophecy of the Jews
• 6:27
  and that there was coming a time where the King of the Jews was
• 6:31
  to be born. And they would have seen it in
• 6:34
  the heavens. They would have seen it in all
• 6:37
  the constellations, and they would have been studying it.
• 6:40
  Which this goes all the way back to Babylon to the Tower of
• 6:44
  Babel. This goes all the way back to
• 6:47
  the time of the revolt against God.
• 6:50
  And you can see how God is actually speaking through these
• 6:55
  Pagan witchcraft New Age practicers.
• 7:05
  And this is what I had mentioned a couple chapters ago, where
• 7:08
  there is some substance to it. Just as whenever the in the the
• 7:16
  Egyptian story of Pharaoh would not let God's people go.
• 7:21
  And whenever Moses and Aaron go in and Aaron throws his staff
• 7:28
  down and it turns into a snake. But then they're the magicians
• 7:34
  in the land. They threw their Staffs down and
• 7:37
  they turned into snakes. There is substance to it all,
• 7:40
  friends, and it would be easy to discount and say no, no, no,
• 7:46
  there's nothing there. But just know, when you open
• 7:50
  yourself up to the demonic, when you open yourself up to the
• 7:55
  occult, this is where oppression, possession,
• 8:00
  influence comes in. And there are so many people
• 8:04
  that I see on a day-to-day basis that have the indwelling and the
• 8:13
  presence of darkness, and it is ripping their lives apart.
• 8:19
  And you could see it, you can see it all over them.
• 8:22
  And they can't even see their own way out.
• 8:24
  They're so trapped and steeped in it.
• 8:27
  And they have chains, heavy chains that are formed on them.
• 8:32
  And here you can see how real recognizes real.
• 8:37
  And the Magi from Babylon, the Magi from the East, they saw
• 8:43
  that there was something there and even the the Jews didn't see
• 8:48
  it. The Jews had all the prophecies
• 8:51
  they were studying. They knew that he would be born
• 8:55
  in Bethlehem. But did you see them running
• 8:57
  there during this time? No, it was the Magi.
• 9:00
  And we're going to learn about it.
• 9:06
  Two saying where is he that is born king of the Jews?
• 9:10
  For we have seen his star in the East, and are come to worship
• 9:15
  him. So here what an amazing fact,
• 9:18
  that these magi were studying the stars, and God used the
• 9:23
  consolations to lead these wise men, these magi to see the baby.
• 9:33
  3 When Herod the King had heard these things, he was troubled,
• 9:37
  and all Jerusalem with him. They should not have been
• 9:40
  surprised, they should have been watching themselves, they should
• 9:44
  have been awaiting it, and perhaps they had all fallen
• 9:47
  asleep. And what a word for us today.
• 9:50
  If Jesus is lining everything up all around us and all we can do
• 9:56
  is complain about all the news and politics, all we can do is
• 10:01
  complain about everything all around us and we don't see that.
• 10:05
  It's all prophecy and it's all heading in the right direction,
• 10:10
  friends. For and when he had gathered all
• 10:14
  the chief priests and the scribes of the people together,
• 10:17
  he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
• 10:20
  You know, Herod was a usurper. Herod was not a legitimate king
• 10:24
  of the Jews. This was a title that was given
• 10:28
  to him because he had the dominion over the land there.
• 10:31
  But he was not a Jew, and the Jews were actually hostile
• 10:37
  towards Herod, and he was very violent man.
• 10:42
  And you could see it here. He demanded of them.
• 10:45
  When he first came to power, he had such paranoia that he had
• 10:50
  priests put to death, he had his own wife and sons put to death.
• 10:55
  This was a ruthless man. And here you can see him running
• 10:59
  scared. 5 And they said unto him in Bethlehem of Judea, For this
• 11:07
  is written by the prophet, what was written?
• 11:11
  6 And you, Bethlehem and the land of Judah, are not the least
• 11:17
  among the Princess of Judah. For out of you shall come a
• 11:21
  governor that shall rule my people Israel.
• 11:26
  So we can see the House of bread, we can see the bread of
• 11:29
  life being born there, Jesus Christ as a little baby in a
• 11:33
  Manger. Seven.
• 11:35
  Then Herod, when he had privately called the wise men,
• 11:40
  he inquired of them diligently what time the * appeared.
• 11:45
  So this was a phenomenon in the sky, perhaps just like the fire
• 11:50
  by night and the cloud by day. God was able to orchestrate in
• 11:55
  the heavens. He was able to orchestrate in
• 11:58
  the sky that they had a guiding star that would land right above
• 12:03
  Jesus. And here he's wanting to know
• 12:06
  when did it appear? A.
• 12:09
  And he sent them to Bethlehem, and he said, go and search
• 12:13
  diligently for the young child. And when you found him, bring me
• 12:17
  word again that I may come and worship Him also.
• 12:20
  This was false worship. He wanted to destroy anybody who
• 12:26
  was a threat against his rule because he was so insecure he
• 12:37
  could not stand the thought of someone else having the title
• 12:42
  King of the Jews. You can see he was so incredibly
• 12:49
  demonic. He was so incredibly diabolic in
• 12:53
  his rule and paranoid. And God sees it. 9 When they had
• 13:00
  heard the king, they departed, and lo, the star which they saw
• 13:06
  in the east went before them until it came and stood over
• 13:09
  where the young child was. Imagine that they did not tell
• 13:15
  Herod that they would come back, they left.
• 13:18
  Notice that there's no response from them, and look at how this
• 13:26
  star goes, and it lands right on Christ.
• 13:31
  Look at how it goes, and it glows right there, and it LED
• 13:37
  them right to Him, and we're going to see one of the reasons
• 13:41
  why. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding
• 13:48
  great joy. That should be our response
• 13:51
  here. You can see that the Gentiles,
• 13:56
  not even the Jews, but the Gentiles were the ones who came
• 14:01
  to pay honor and homage to God Almighty.
• 14:06
  And you can see God's heart is for the whole world, and our
• 14:11
  response should be great joy, that we are found and counted
• 14:15
  with him. 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw
• 14:21
  the young child with Mary his mother, and they fell down, and
• 14:26
  they worshipped him. And when they had opened their
• 14:28
  treasures, they presented unto him gifts of gold and
• 14:32
  frankincense and myrrh. So here we can see that he was
• 14:36
  not a baby anymore. He was a young child.
• 14:40
  Here we can see that their journey from the East all the
• 14:44
  way to Jerusalem, and then from Jerusalem to Bethlehem, had
• 14:47
  taken them months upon months. Here it was not the infant child
• 14:53
  that the shepherds encountered. Here the Magi were actually
• 14:58
  encountering a young child, as the Scriptures say.
• 15:04
  And here we can see that they had gold, which speaks of His
• 15:11
  royalty. Here we can see the frankincense
• 15:14
  which speaks of His divinity. And here we can see myrrh, which
• 15:19
  points us to the death on the cross.
• 15:22
  You can see God in His Providence.
• 15:25
  Here we can see prophecy being fulfilled in the gifts that were
• 15:29
  given. And these would have been very
• 15:31
  luxurious gifts. Friends 12 And being warned of
• 15:35
  God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they
• 15:38
  departed into their own country another way.
• 15:41
  Imagine that. Imagine God speaking directly to
• 15:45
  the Magi. This is an incredible account,
• 15:49
  and it shows us the reality of the spiritual realm all around
• 15:54
  us. God can speak to us in many
• 15:56
  different ways friends, and the Bible tells us to never ever
• 16:07
  nibble and dabble in the occult. But we need to be connected to
• 16:10
  the one true power source, God, who is the only God.
• 16:17
  And whenever you are trying to tap in to the demonic, it will
• 16:24
  only lead you away into death, into captivity.
• 16:29
  And many choose that way. And here God is actually showing
• 16:34
  up to these Gentiles in a dream. 13 And when they were departed,
• 16:43
  behold, the Angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream,
• 16:47
  saying, Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee
• 16:50
  into Egypt, and be you there until I bring you word, for
• 16:55
  Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
• 16:58
  What prophecy can you even imagine God showing up to Joseph
• 17:03
  here in a dream? Again friends, here God is using
• 17:11
  the dream world to get a hold of these men and he can do the same
• 17:18
  for you and for me. Friends, most of the dreams that
• 17:22
  we have are not even worth being spoken of, but God can speak to
• 17:27
  us through our dreams and it is shown here.
• 17:32
  And just imagine that the money Joseph would have needed was
• 17:38
  provided from all of the gifts that were given, which was the
• 17:42
  whole reason not only to glorify God through these men, but to
• 17:48
  bring the wealth of the unrighteous to the righteous.
• 17:53
  And that is what the Bible tells us, that the wealth of the
• 17:56
  unrighteous will be spent upon the righteous.
• 17:59
  Friends, don't forget it. And you can see the principle
• 18:02
  here being driven down all the way back at the birth of Jesus
• 18:06
  Christ. And God knew that they would
• 18:08
  need money. And God knows that you need
• 18:11
  money. And we don't need to chase the
• 18:13
  money. We need to trust God and
• 18:15
  increase our faith. And watch how God provides the 2
• 18:18
  coins out of the fish's mouth to go and pay your taxes, friends.
• 18:22
  That is what God can do and he can do it today.
• 18:25
  God can provide in so many different various ways, friends,
• 18:30
  and it is miraculous. And we give them all the glory.
• 18:34
  And look at how he provided for this passage to Egypt, France.
• 18:38
  And there was an outpost of Jews there in Egypt.
• 18:42
  And that is where Joseph took Jesus when he was just a young
• 18:46
  child. And then the prophets proclaimed
• 18:49
  that out of Egypt, Jesus would come.
• 18:52
  He'd come out of Egypt. And that was fulfilled during
• 18:56
  this time. Friends, how amazing is this
• 18:58
  book that you hold in your hands?
• 19:01
  14 And when he arose, he took the young child and his mother
• 19:05
  by night, and they departed into Egypt.
• 19:08
  This was immediate obedience. And that is what God wants from
• 19:11
  us. He doesn't want us to just wait
• 19:14
  and wait and miss it. God wants immediate obedience
• 19:18
  when He speaks to us. We shouldn't drag our feet.
• 19:23
  Delayed obedience is disobedience, friends, and you
• 19:27
  can see it here in 14, 15 and was there until the death of
• 19:33
  Herod, and it might be fulfilled, which was spoken of
• 19:36
  the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt, have I called my
• 19:40
  son? 16 Then Herod, when he saw that
• 19:46
  he was mocked of the wise men, was exceedingly wrath and sent
• 19:54
  forth. And he slew all the children
• 19:56
  that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from 2
• 20:02
  years old and under, according to the time which he had
• 20:05
  diligently inquired of the wise men.
• 20:08
  So here you can see that Herod was absolutely angered.
• 20:12
  Herod was absolutely infuriated by the fact that he had been
• 20:18
  outwitted and outsmarted by the wise men, by the Magi.
• 20:24
  And it was God, and it was God, and God was all over it.
• 20:27
  And God appeared to them in a dream and got them to go a
• 20:31
  different way. And here you can see that he is
• 20:37
  going to slay all the children to and under.
• 20:41
  And this was such a terrible time for the women there, and
• 20:47
  they refused to be comforted. 17 And then it was fulfilled.
• 20:57
  That which was spoken by the prophet Jeremiah saying in Rama
• 21:02
  was there a voice heard lamentation and weeping.
• 21:06
  Great morning Rachel weeping for her children and would not be
• 21:11
  comforted because they are not. This would have been the slaying
• 21:17
  of all the children to and under because of an insecure usurper
• 21:23
  who came in and tried to pretend as if he was the King of the
• 21:27
  Jews and he could not stand anyone else having that title.
• 21:31
  And look at how Jesus rocked the world at his birth.
• 21:35
  Friends 19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an Angel of the
• 21:44
  Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt.
• 21:48
  What did he say? He said arise and take the young
• 21:51
  child and his mother and go into the land of Israel, for they are
• 21:56
  dead which sought the young child's life.
• 21:59
  You know, look at how God provides you know, look at how
• 22:02
  God makes sure that prophecy gets fulfilled.
• 22:06
  Look at how all of these things and, you know, you could go back
• 22:10
  to the death of those young children and you could say why
• 22:13
  God, why? And that would be a legitimate
• 22:17
  question. Why didn't he show up to the
• 22:20
  women there and tell them to run and to flee?
• 22:24
  And you must know that death is not the end, friends.
• 22:32
  It is only the beginning for us. Death is the ultimate betrayal
• 22:39
  because we have eternity placed into our hearts.
• 22:43
  Death is that mourning and that weeping and refusing to be
• 22:47
  comforted, especially of the slaying of innocent life.
• 22:55
  But you can see here that to God no one ever really dies.
• 23:00
  Don't forget it. 21 And he arose and took the young child and his
• 23:08
  mother, and came into the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard
• 23:13
  that Archelaus did reign in Judea in the room of his father
• 23:17
  Herod, he was afraid to go there, and notwithstanding being
• 23:21
  warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of
• 23:25
  Galilee. 23 And he came and dwelt in the city called
• 23:30
  Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by
• 23:35
  the prophets. He shall be called a Nazarene.
• 23:39
  This is what Matthew is talking about, is Jesus of Nazareth,
• 23:46
  Jesus the branch? How amazing is God Almighty that
• 23:55
  He can fulfill so many of the Old Testament prophecies that
• 23:58
  we've been reading about, friends?
• 24:01
  And you can see it here in chapter 2 of Matthew, how God is
• 24:07
  able to fulfill all of these prophecies here in just the few
• 24:14
  short years of Jesus life. And by the way, all the
• 24:18
  prophecies that have not yet been fulfilled are being
• 24:24
  fulfilled today. Friends, there is nothing that's
• 24:28
  holding us back from what is next on the timeline.
• 24:34
  Friends, there is no prophecy that needs to be fulfilled for
• 24:41
  the rapture of the church. There is no prophecy that needs
• 24:45
  to be fulfilled. It could happen anytime now.
• 24:49
  And two will be standing in a field and 1:00 will be taken and
• 24:53
  1:00 will be left behind. There will be two women grinding
• 24:56
  at the millstone, One will be taken and 1:00 will be left
• 24:59
  behind. And you might say, Oh my, we're
• 25:06
  going to have to go through tribulation buddy.
• 25:11
  But I want you to know that those that have not yet placed
• 25:16
  their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will have to go through
• 25:20
  the tribulation. But there will be an occasion
• 25:24
  for them to place their faith, and they are the ones that the
• 25:27
  Bible talks about that we'll have to go through all of the
• 25:31
  trials and tribulations. But for you and I believer, we
• 25:36
  look up and we see our redemption is drawing near.
• 25:39
  He comes like a thief in the night.
• 25:42
  Let's make sure we have our oil lamps full and have our Wicks
• 25:47
  trimmed. And we are the wise virgin's
• 25:50
  friends and we're looking up and we are waiting for him.
• 25:54
  We are anticipating the sound of a trumpet and the voice of an
• 25:58
  Archangel, and we will go to meet him in the clouds and be
• 26:02
  with him forever more, and we will rule and reign with him in
• 26:07
  the Millennium. Praise God for that.
• 26:09
