Zimbabwe’s tri-series opener ended in heartbreak as they crumbled to a 7-wicket South Africa defeat in Namibia, scoring just 148 for 8 despite Brian Bennett’s 34 and Ben Curran’s 24. South Africa’s top order, led by Dewald Brevis’ explosive 70, chased down 145 in just 13.5 overs. Captain Sikandar Raza’s meager 10 runs highlighted Zimbabwe’s batting woes. With Namibia — who stunned South Africa — looming next, the Chevrons must regroup fast if they hope to turn things around in this crucial series.
