- 0:00I really want a partner. I really want a partner and
- 0:01they've watched a lot of you there, like romantic comedies
- 0:04are anime, and when they go to try to like impose that on real
- 0:08life, it doesn't fit, right? Because it is made up.
- 0:17Hey guys. So today I'm interviewing I have
- 0:20guests over to lie on these podcast shows these Saturday
- 0:23lives. I'm really enjoying these
- 0:24actually. So yeah give a thumbs up.
- 0:26If you're enjoying this type of kind of podcast episodes, I'm
- 0:28doing the really fun and I get to have awesome people on like
- 0:31dr. Ali and so, this is dr.
- 0:32This is my friend. We've known each other for a
- 0:35little while now. Maybe like I don't know six or
- 0:37six months or so maybe I think some and and your she's super
- 0:41awesome. So so a lead want to kind of
- 0:43explain who you are and what you do and then we'll get into some
- 0:46questions. Yeah, so I'm Ali.
- 0:48And I am a speech therapist and a behavior analyst, and then I
- 0:53use both of those things. And I went and got my doctorate,
- 0:56and I looked at the intricacies of dating on the autism
- 0:59spectrum. And when I did that, I really
- 1:01looked, I interviewed a bunch of people on the Spectrum about
- 1:05what was hard. And then I also journaled as a
- 1:08therapist on what like I thought, people were going to
- 1:11say. But that there was a little bit
- 1:13of a mismatch was really helpful for me, as a therapist to say,
- 1:17oh, Just because I think something is hard doesn't mean
- 1:20the person that I'm working with actually wants to work on this.
- 1:23So now I have a private practice where I see Teenage Kids.
- 1:27We play a lot of Minecraft, we do a lot of social skills,
- 1:31social communication and then adults who are interested in
- 1:35just forming more relationships, either romantic business,
- 1:38friendship, just sort of those higher-level social skills.
- 1:42That's so sick. And this is one of the things
- 1:44that really kind of. I wanted you on my My channel
- 1:48and my podcast because I was like, whoa, there's somebody
- 1:51who's got a PhD in literature relationships in autism.
- 1:55I mean, this is one of the most sought-after questions.
- 1:57So like I have people all the time saying, you know I asked
- 1:59Bridges and dating also has been dating like you know, does this
- 2:03work is so basically you know is that okay?
- 2:08Let me persuade. What's the what's the kind of
- 2:10percentage? Would you say of people who are
- 2:13not in relationships, but want to be in relationships on the
- 2:15Spectrum. So you say it's like a quite a
- 2:17lot of sense. Georgie sets a high percentage.
- 2:19Want to be. Oh hi.
- 2:21Very high. My focus group for research I
- 2:25think was like 60 people. And there were two that didn't
- 2:29want to be in a relationship but just at the moment because they
- 2:31felt like they too many responsibilities like not that
- 2:33it wasn't something they want it long term so yes very high, a
- 2:37super interesting, what would you say the most, the most
- 2:41common issue that autistic people have with relationships?
- 2:45Like when they come to you and they say like you know, I want A
- 2:47date men and women, whatever. And I have this issue, what's
- 2:52the biggest boundary? That they can see with some of
- 2:56them who have been in a relationship, unfortunately,
- 2:59I've gotten like burnt or taking advantage of taken advantage of.
- 3:02So there's that, I would also say the fear of rejection really
- 3:07comes in heavy and then also, there's, there's this mismatch
- 3:12of kind of like reality and expectation.
- 3:15So a lot of people grow up being like, I really Partner really
- 3:18want a partner, and they've watched a lot of either, like
- 3:21romantic comedies are anime. And when they go to try to like
- 3:24impose that on real life, it doesn't fit, right?
- 3:28Because it, it is made up. So that kind of like how do I
- 3:32even do this? What am I supposed to do?
- 3:34What are the rules? Sure.
- 3:36Sugar that is a very interesting concept because like there is
- 3:40no, there is no rules of relationships.
- 3:42There are basically that it's a it's a partnership that grows
- 3:46and learns as As you go, you know.
- 3:48So you, you know, each other, you know, briefly and then you
- 3:52can enter relationship and then that relationship grows and you
- 3:54learn more about each other. And then, you know, can either
- 3:56blossom into something more romantic or it can just stay as
- 3:59a friendship relationship. And I think it's, it's one of
- 4:02the most difficult Parts. Like, you hit the nail on the
- 4:04head there saying that, like, you know, you see something on
- 4:07TV or in a comic and you aren't you kind of absorb that which is
- 4:11why my accent is almost America. It's kind of a little bit
- 4:13british-american because like, I learn A lot of my lexicon and
- 4:19vocabulary from TV and a lot of TV's American, right?
- 4:21So and a lot of how we behave in a day-to-day life, especially
- 4:27growing up. When I was a lot younger, I took
- 4:30a lot of my characteristics of behaviors because didn't know
- 4:32how to behave in front of people from from movies like Star Wars
- 4:35and stuff. So it's just like on the
- 4:36console. Those kind of persona do all
- 4:38kind of stuff people. Like one is going on.
- 4:40I remember trying to joke with with, with the kids in school.
- 4:44And I was really a big fan of Betelgeuse and I love people.
- 4:47You. So I kind of just thought.
- 4:48Well, people are laughing at this part of Betelgeuse, I'll
- 4:50just do this the same from Italy.
- 4:52Some people say that one. It's you.
- 4:53Do you know that? No, I also got.
- 4:55How does this not work? And so it's really funny that
- 4:58you, yeah, people are kind of adopt a script and and see it as
- 5:01a scenario. Like, oh, this is, this is how
- 5:03it should be. But in reality, it should be
- 5:04something like they create themselves.
- 5:06So, how do you how do you combat that?
- 5:07Like, what you say to them when they when they like, as okay?
- 5:09I know it's a very difficult topic and this your Forte and
- 5:12here you spent years talking to these people.
- 5:14But you know, what's the typical process of trying to Help some
- 5:18of the situation. Well, the first thing you said
- 5:21about relationships, right in wanting rules.
- 5:23So, I've been trying to write a rule book, but because a person
- 5:28on the spectrum is plain brain is typically black and white
- 5:30right. Relationships are so great
- 5:33because it's dependent. It's probably flowing, right?
- 5:36Right. I'll go to radar Rule, and then
- 5:38I realize, I have like eight caveat so underneath so I'm
- 5:41like, is this even a rule at this point?
- 5:42I'm kind of, you know, there's some basic ones, but it's hard
- 5:46and then the The helping to move past movie.
- 5:50So I do a lot of normalizing when I work with people.
- 5:53I am now happily engaged, but I did it for a long time and it
- 5:57was awful. So, I do a lot of like it's
- 6:00dating in reality can be kind of difficult people, you know, not
- 6:04just on the Spectrum get rejected on apps and not to be
- 6:07pessimistic. But just to sort of say, like,
- 6:09this is kind of how it is. And you are not, you know, doing
- 6:14something wrong necessarily, it's making this not happen for
- 6:17you. It's just math, isn't it?
- 6:18I mean you crank, the numbers, you got like seven billion
- 6:20people on the planet. You're trying to find one
- 6:22person. So you're going to have to go
- 6:25through a lot of churn to figure out where you sit, right.
- 6:29I think to me, it smells nice. There's a great app actually
- 6:31called hickey which I did it. Yeah, it's great, isn't it
- 6:35right? And the guys from New York.
- 6:37I think and he's such a cool dude.
- 6:38Like I had an idea, I want to get on the show, I should get on
- 6:41the show. I've seen interview.
- 6:42He's such a cool guy and he's really nice and we did a brand
- 6:45deal partnership on Instagram. It was kind of Of really, really
- 6:48cool and we did a YouTube. I think we did a blog post as
- 6:51well and I kind of advertise that app because I was just so
- 6:54blown away by having a dating app, specifically people on the
- 6:57Spectrum and what really threw me was like well how they
- 7:00regulate this, how do they and they literally monitor it, they
- 7:03have some guy that sits at then. There's sole purpose is to make
- 7:06sure everyone's genuine and nobody's taking advantage of
- 7:08it's crazy. But I think it's another thing
- 7:11that a lot of apps have an issue with a special when they grow to
- 7:13live sizes. Like how do you moderate that
- 7:16many individuals? Laughter.
- 7:17You know you'd have a team for everyone who joins her like, you
- 7:22have like one person for every 10 members, it's nuts.
- 7:24But I think that after really good and it's a good insight to
- 7:27people who are feeling the same as what I found about it.
- 7:30Like you know, you'll have someone on the Spectrum and
- 7:32another personal inspection, we're looking for people and it
- 7:35kind of matches up. And then you can talk about like
- 7:37you're both shy or you know, you're there is there is like a
- 7:41nut but you know what's funny about this is they are actually
- 7:44working with love on the Spectrum.
- 7:47Season 2, which is cool. All right, okay, that's awesome.
- 7:51Yeah, and I was like, I was like wow, this is cool because you
- 7:55know, that was a good insight and a good window into it.
- 7:57And I think that like, the two biggest things is making friends
- 8:01and making friends and relationships.
- 8:03And having a job right there, the two biggest kind of areas
- 8:05that my audience always ask me questions about you guys
- 8:07watching right now. You'll sit there nodding and
- 8:09give this video a thumbs up, if you agree, you know, finding a
- 8:12job for someone's question, was difficult and then finding a
- 8:14relationship, be a friends, friendship, relationship, or
- 8:16romantic. Those are too difficult things.
- 8:19So do you have a lot of people who are just trying to make
- 8:21friendships with who come to you from seek for advice?
- 8:24Yeah, I do. I definitely do.
- 8:26I mean, so a lot of people that I'm working with are like mid
- 8:2920s and the 30s. So they definitely have
- 8:31maintained like a childhood friend of some kind.
- 8:34And then they have a lot of friends at they'll either game
- 8:36with or they'll do an activity with and I always say like,
- 8:41that's great. Some of them I think again,
- 8:43comparing, two movies, want to have this group of like, Five,
- 8:47best friends. We all ride around on bikes and
- 8:50like kind of like and I'm like most people don't have that
- 8:54though. Don't like don't put that
- 8:56pressure on yourself. Like if you're finding people to
- 8:58go do activities with and you have a consistent group to do
- 9:00that with that's awesome. Um and then the other thing
- 9:04going into romantic relationships, kind of what you
- 9:06were talking about in. This is why I did really like
- 9:08love on the Spectrum and this is why I also really like hiki, he
- 9:11is such a nice guy, I talked to him.
- 9:13Once I am also from east coast and I was like, I your the Like
- 9:17he just got his butt. So one of the things that I
- 9:23really like about that is that like people you you want to be
- 9:30with someone that has a common interest but also is going to
- 9:34get you in some way. So like going for like a super
- 9:38model that works in Hollywood and like I don't know parties.
- 9:41All night probably isn't a good match but maybe someone who also
- 9:44has a little bit of ADHD and can totally Understand when you're
- 9:48having a moment, we're like, I can't pitch, like, I flake out
- 9:51on my fiance sometimes and I'm like, it's nothing like an ADHD
- 9:54moment. But you need someone who can
- 9:56empathize or know what that is and like, gets it.
- 10:00Yeah, 100%. Like this is one of the things
- 10:03that I speak about a lot, when I speak about relationships, you
- 10:05know, I'm lucky that. I mean, I've friendships, right?
- 10:08I have I have one best friend, like, my best friend is my
- 10:10cousin and, you know, we grew up together.
- 10:12So like, that's why we're best friends, right.
- 10:14And he's cool, he's super creative and and that's how we
- 10:17get along. Play music together and stuff.
- 10:19But, you know, in terms of romantic relationships, I've
- 10:21only had like 3 to 16 relationships, when was like
- 10:23high school and then the other was when I was in college, which
- 10:28it's not university colleges think before you go to
- 10:30university in the UK. Anyway and then yeah, when I
- 10:34started, when I started working and then I died in the
- 10:37relationship. I'm in now, you know, and the
- 10:41lucky thing is, I'm Naomi who I'm with.
- 10:44Now she has a first honours degree.
- 10:47In childhood studies and development in autism.
- 10:49So she comes from a background of standing, but she also, I
- 10:53think she has ADD as well, so she, she has a lot of, like,
- 10:58anxiety issues. So it's kind of cool, you know,
- 11:00we kind of get along really well and we have, you know, we both
- 11:03flake at the same things which is kind of fun.
- 11:07And, and that's how we get along.
- 11:08I think that build the reasons that those are the
- 11:10relationships. I was in, didn't work out was
- 11:12because they didn't understand it.
- 11:13Only if they didn't have that kind of interest and you're
- 11:15absolutely right the caliber of person you should go for.
- 11:17You have to think logically like you can't be going up.
- 11:20Somebody who? Yeah, it's going to, you know,
- 11:24go to parties and like doing crazy stuff all the time because
- 11:28it just nothing. That's not your lifestyle.
- 11:30You know, you got to find something to fit your lifestyle.
- 11:32And that's what I, you know, the people who have been a
- 11:36relationship maybe been like burnt.
- 11:38I noticed a big pattern of trying to adjust to their
- 11:42Partners lifestyle or their Partners need and the partner.
- 11:45Maybe you've been even asking too much, right?
- 11:47Right? Whereas a person on the
- 11:48Spectrum, thrives on their schedule and knowing what's
- 11:52expected and, and once that starts to get thrown
- 11:55continuously, that's not, you know, it's not a good feeling.
- 11:58Yeah, I know 100%. I mean, yeah, I've had goodness
- 12:02me. I like I did, I date, I tried, I
- 12:04was kind of dating a girl before before I met Naomi just formally
- 12:10and she was kind of like that person, you know, she she got
- 12:13with our work friends and then, you know, drink wine and do all
- 12:17the Stuff and like to go to dinner parties as not my scene
- 12:20like that is not me at all. So that just never.
- 12:23That is did not work. It just fell apart straight away
- 12:25and you think in the beginning to doubt yourself that did it.
- 12:28The default pack is I'm a weirdo and it's not.
- 12:30It's just because you've got to find people who click with you.
- 12:32You got five. People are kind of like Get You
- 12:35know you because I like I know a lot of people who are on the
- 12:38Spectrum like a friend of mine. Patrick hit his wife he met
- 12:42because that gamers are both like obsessed Gamers.
- 12:44Like I think he works with games like He reviews games and so he
- 12:48met, his wife is a game engine and that's cool, because that
- 12:51makes sense. So, I think it is there is that
- 12:54much about it, but we're talking about, like, education and
- 12:56stuff. A leak was awesome enough to sit
- 13:00my course, which is called inside autism.
- 13:03So, this is super exclusive guys.
- 13:04The course, is currently in its its beta test and it will be
- 13:09available within a month or so, but you can actually I think you
- 13:12can go to my site and I'll sign up for the pre-reg which is
- 13:16lover, learn or two. Dotnet you can go there now.
- 13:18Read about it in Uganda pre-reg waiting list.
- 13:21So when the cost is available you get notified, but Ali was
- 13:24awesome enough to say. Yeah, I'll take the course, I'll
- 13:26check it out and I wanted to feed back.
- 13:27So early, you took the course inside autism.
- 13:30So from from your perspective, like what would you say if
- 13:33someone said, you like, what's the course about?
- 13:35What would you say to them? I mean, so to me, it was talking
- 13:40about autism from a person with autism, like, there were times
- 13:44where you were saying things, where I'm like, oh yeah, I teach
- 13:46that. But you just I said, it's so
- 13:48much easier to break down like you really you talk about it in
- 13:53a very simple, but effective way, like the way that you bring
- 13:57up, you talk about sensory diet, right, and making sure that your
- 14:01sensory system is in line. You know, I've heard an
- 14:05occupational therapist. Talk about that and I get it and
- 14:07I think it's amazing. You just broke it down in a way
- 14:10of. Hey, this is how it worked for
- 14:12me. This is exactly what I do.
- 14:14Here's some other recommendations and I just think
- 14:16it's so valuable. Table for especially parents of
- 14:19kids on the spectrum. They don't have, you know, hours
- 14:22to sit through like research articles like I do, right?
- 14:24Like they don't do that. That was like.
- 14:26Yeah yeah yeah and even an adult on the Spectrum, you know,
- 14:30they're there to work through their day.
- 14:33Again they don't want to sit and read.
- 14:34There's plenty of books that, you know, have other information
- 14:37like this, but you really break down.
- 14:39Hey, this works for me, like, I remember one sentence, you said,
- 14:42you were like a pause in conversation is when you can
- 14:46start talking and I was Was like, yeah, that's so simple and
- 14:49so true. But I feel like a lot of times
- 14:51that gets there's like we add as therapists or whoever we add in
- 14:55all these other layers, but it really is like and then go
- 15:02absolutely. But I mean, it was really funny,
- 15:04you know. So for anybody watching right
- 15:06now I'm listening. I created this course to be a
- 15:09course that people who were on the Spectrum could take and
- 15:11people who are parents or carers off people on the Spectrum or
- 15:14even therapist could take this course to learn more.
- 15:17Because what I wanted to do is show the inside of us, that was
- 15:20the idea of this course. So how do you feel it was
- 15:23portrayed like, you know, you took the course?
- 15:25How did you feel as a therapist watching this?
- 15:27Like did you think that you know, it was well-balanced?
- 15:29What did you think that was more for like parents or for people
- 15:31on the Spectrum? Like, what were your thoughts?
- 15:33No, I were you. And I had talked off-camera.
- 15:35And I did say, like, you beautifully talked to three
- 15:39audiences, which I think is really hard to do to beat active
- 15:43parent. People on the Spectrum and
- 15:45therapist. So, as a therapist, Again you
- 15:48know I got a doctorate in this right?
- 15:50So I like you know top myself as being pretty well-versed.
- 15:54Yeah. And you sort of go over Concepts
- 15:57that I already talked about but again in a much more manageable
- 16:01way was so helpful like I've been implementing it now into
- 16:05what I'm doing with the people I work with and it's clicking
- 16:09better. So I think even for therapists
- 16:11really nice add-on to probably what they're already doing it,
- 16:15that's that's crazy. Good to know.
- 16:17And, you know, the reason that there's a secret behind how I
- 16:20did it and it's very simple and you can take this one and
- 16:23anybody watching this. So the average understanding age
- 16:27of a person is 3 years old. So we understand things other on
- 16:32a perspective of someone who's three years old.
- 16:33So you might be thinking, oh my goodness, and that goes for
- 16:35anybody, who knows how big your intelligence butter is or how
- 16:39many doctors you've got. And it's simply this when you
- 16:41read, like news headlines and stuff like that, it's like man
- 16:43dies in car. It doesn't tell you much more
- 16:46than that, right? But that's like a child's book
- 16:49like a three-year-old book, right?
- 16:50Would say that but that's how we as a society digest information
- 16:54because it's easier to understand.
- 16:56So when I was making this course, I was like I have to
- 16:58explain this so anybody can get it and say oh yeah, I install it
- 17:03information because when you start layering on complex like
- 17:07Notions and characteristics and you go yeah, I'm lost already,
- 17:10you know, it becomes this like an encyclopedia of something and
- 17:13I think that that's a lot. Like I've seen a lot of autism
- 17:15kind of related courses. That are a little bit smaller
- 17:19than mine and they just it just over complicate things and they
- 17:23go through references and they show screenshots of like
- 17:26journals. I'm thinking, what nobody cares
- 17:28about this stuff. I just want to be able to go.
- 17:30Can I take this to practical advice on?
- 17:31The can I use it? So, that was my question, could
- 17:34you say that? The course gives you practical
- 17:38advice? Yeah, like, I cute, just like
- 17:42one sentence things that I've been applying.
- 17:45So, yes, like Everything was very, it's actionable.
- 17:50Like you explain it and then you're like, here is something
- 17:52you can directly do to now use this.
- 17:55So, yeah, cool. That's a, so how do so, here's
- 17:58another thing, how I do a lot of people when I say like, oh, I've
- 18:01launched the course people say, like, I'm not very technically
- 18:03minded, how easy did you find the?
- 18:06Okay. Apart from the fact that we had
- 18:07a bit of issues getting your account set up?
- 18:08Because that was because it was a beta test.
- 18:09But in terms of once we had your account set up, how easy did you
- 18:12find the flow of the actual Tech of the course?
- 18:16Extremely You and I am not technically my bear.
- 18:19I actually work with someone on the Spectrum and he does all of
- 18:22my tag and all I think if I just am not, I can okay good.
- 18:29I was one of my biggest concerns.
- 18:30I didn't want parents and grandparents to think like, oh
- 18:32my goodness, you know, I, I can literally go on Facebook on my
- 18:34iPad or gonna go on YouTube and watch those videos.
- 18:37But, you know, I wouldn't be able to use this but I try to
- 18:39make it is super easy as possible, like, Tech friendly
- 18:42and like, you just as you can sign up.
- 18:44And so if you were to If you were to sum it up like you know,
- 18:49what would be, what parts were the most kind of like like mind
- 18:54blowing past like the first person that you thought were
- 18:56like really valuable because what I try to do is put stuff in
- 18:59this course, that people don't even talk about, we will know
- 19:00even talking about this stuff, right?
- 19:02So I try to know, did you have something that you learned from
- 19:05this? You think like, whoa, holy
- 19:06smokes. I've got a PhD and I didn't even
- 19:07know this. Well, I think.
- 19:10Sorry, I want to make a joke. This keeps remind me of like a
- 19:13Blue's Clues. Like my handy dandy Bruno.
- 19:17But like I mean so you compared how on the Spectrum might feel
- 19:25I'm putting in like working on their sensory system like it's
- 19:28like jet lag and like that really sat with me.
- 19:32Like I was a walk because you know YouTube videos where they
- 19:34try to show what it's like for a person with eighty HD at the
- 19:39mall. I don't know if you ever seen
- 19:39that one but they might have but that to me like gel acts awful.
- 19:44So like to that was just such a good comparison and Then you
- 19:49also talked about. I think this is so I'll say add
- 19:53value to the conversation and you said it's important to be
- 19:57helpful again, that's just a much easier way of saying, like,
- 20:00people want to be around people that are going to help them or
- 20:04that are adding something that they're interested in, right?
- 20:07As opposed to maybe just talking about straight facts, if you
- 20:10can. And you also were saying that's
- 20:12a really nice way to even start a conversation with some on the
- 20:16go. I can pick that.
- 20:17Up for you or let me help you with that.
- 20:19It's just a nice opening. And again I think that's a
- 20:21strategy that to me. I was kind of like, Oh yeah, duh
- 20:25but I'm not teaching it so yeah. Yeah, because a lot of the the
- 20:30course kind of like focuses on a lot of different things.
- 20:33Go from relationships to making friends to work life.
- 20:37You know, and trying to get your kids to follow tasks trying to
- 20:41you know to gauge the follow tasks and all those kind of
- 20:42things. And so it was really fun to try
- 20:45and put that together. I think that was that was a
- 20:47difficult. Uncle taskstream put it together
- 20:48in a, in a manner where you could understand what you're
- 20:50saying without it being too kind of like, basic right.
- 20:53So, I'm glad that you and that you enjoyed my terminology
- 20:56because that was something that I was kind of scared about.
- 21:00But but, um, yeah, I mean, if there's a super cool, I love
- 21:02that fact that you took the course.
- 21:03I think you are the first person ever to take the course on
- 21:07basic. So, you know, a few people help
- 21:12me with the cost. I think it's seven hours.
- 21:14I think roughly, I think it's about seven hours.
- 21:17And the cool thing is like you could take it you guys sit there
- 21:19for seven hours, do it in one sitting or you could just like
- 21:22literally take take it, you know?
- 21:24And then log back in and whatever you could go back on
- 21:27now actually I think you can just log in anytime you want and
- 21:29review it, right? But there was also some download
- 21:31documents. Did you get those as well?
- 21:33I think there was some downloads that go with its importance
- 21:35trying to remember right now I know one of them was I'll letter
- 21:41to be able to ask for in some way, which, again, duper
- 21:46helpful. You did all the talk about this
- 21:48to just the, you know, the advocacy component that needs to
- 21:51come with you on the Spectrum or as a parent ways that you can
- 21:54Advocate. Yeah, that was very helpful
- 21:58actually have shared that with a few of the people.
- 22:00I would that's awesome because one of the things like, I feel
- 22:04like a lot of the this is the reason I started the culture,
- 22:06right? And, and it's because I have so
- 22:08many parents against me in desperation.
- 22:10And they're like I need some help and and then you say to
- 22:12look you need to do all these things and they say, oh my gosh,
- 22:14you know, I'm trying like after this kid, you know, trying to
- 22:17run a house, I have the two jobs.
- 22:19I'm also putting myself through college like how do I even how
- 22:22do I even begin to just do all these things?
- 22:23So I say, okay, well look, I've done it, I've done it all for
- 22:25you. You know, I've made the
- 22:26templates that you just fill in the blanks and send it in to the
- 22:28school or what, and that was kind of one of the one of the
- 22:31main things I wanted to do all of the work and like you said,
- 22:34like reading all those books since all those bloody lectures
- 22:38and getting all that stuff together.
- 22:40Put it into a course and say. Okay, look, I've extracted the
- 22:42stuff that's actually useful. Here you go, take it and I hope
- 22:45that kind of came across. Yes, actually, I know you did do
- 22:48and I didn't realize it till now.
- 22:50So like when I'm presenting or I'm talking or whatever, it's
- 22:53from a speech brain, it's from that like social communication
- 22:57brain what you did was holistically.
- 22:59Talk about. Hey, these are all the parts of
- 23:02a person with autism that are going to be affected.
- 23:05This is how I would address each of them, I don't know if that
- 23:07really exists, there's a lot of like High Ville.
- 23:10This is what autism is but then there's a specialist about their
- 23:14thing. Yeah.
- 23:16And this is another thing. I don't know of any other
- 23:18autistic people who are running courses, autistic people like
- 23:22all of the courses I've come across have been therapists and
- 23:24it's like all how, you know, this is one of the things that
- 23:28I, if you have a therapist telling you something about
- 23:31somebody that they don't have a condition of, it's a bit weird
- 23:34to me. It's like a guy telling a woman,
- 23:36like a man selling a woman all about the woman's female
- 23:39reproductive. System and telling all about the
- 23:41menstrual cycles. You think it will again me, I'm,
- 23:43you know, if you're back home for a woman because she lives it
- 23:45day in day out. So, it's kind of like that, you
- 23:48know, I think I found a huge issue.
- 23:50Whether was like it was, no, there was, no, there's no
- 23:53autistic people putting the stuff out and I forgot to do it,
- 23:55but I do it because the parents are just literally begging for.
- 23:58So, if anybody is interested and you want to be on that
- 24:00pre-launch list, you can go to learn autism botnet right now,
- 24:04and you can download the free PDF book that I give away.

- 24:12you can get on to the webinar because the first part of the
- 24:14course with the party you didn't have access to a lie.
- 24:16Is I do a the first part of course is free.
- 24:19We do like a three kind of three issues or three ways to improve
- 24:25life on probably only of the spectrum or for parents on the
- 24:27autism spectrum, right? And so I do that that class for
- 24:30free, it's like a webinar and so that is available.
- 24:33I'll send you a link that because then you can get into
