- 0:00He's Sudanese. Send him back to the sedan. low.
- 0:15Hi, I'm Jay Fallon. Thanks for listening to The
- 0:17Slippery Slope. So remember a short while ago we
- 0:20had the referendum for the Indigenous voiced parliament.
- 0:25The the Labor Party wanted they were bringing forward this
- 0:29referendum. Australia, you need to vote yes
- 0:32or no. Should we have an Indigenous
- 0:35voice to parliament and it was all eventually going to lead us
- 0:38to a treaty agreement. My belief, I still believe this
- 0:45now is that it was a it was no, we shouldn't do it.
- 0:49I thought it was going to be bad for our country, for our nation.
- 0:54And I also saw some problems with the referendum or with the,
- 0:59the wording we within the recommendations, what they
- 1:05wanted within this referendum. And that part of the the issues
- 1:08that I saw was the people who could, who could be recommended
- 1:17or the the people who could, who could say that they were
- 1:21Indigenous, an Indigenous Australian, anyone could
- 1:26virtually claim to be Indigenous.
- 1:28OK. And even though they had all
- 1:30these these from these requirements that you were
- 1:34supposed to be able to meet to to be able to claim to be able
- 1:39to support the argument that you were indigenous, that you are
- 1:42Indigenous people were not meeting those requirements and
- 1:45they were still being supported. Their claims of being indigenous
- 1:49were still being supported even though they didn't meet the
- 1:51requirements. This all brings me about to this
- 1:54story. Thanks very much to Men of Faith
- 1:58Brian, for sending me this article.
- 2:00I was away, obviously, I was away working, so I wasn't able
- 2:03to see this myself. He was telling me about it.
- 2:07Well, I asked him about it, so he sent me a link to this.
- 2:09Let's check out this article and I got to tell you, I, I wouldn't
- 2:14normally say it, but if anyone from the Labor Party is watching
- 2:19my podcast, listening to the podcast, well, I told you so
- 2:23this is exactly why I said we need to bring in requirements
- 2:28for DNA. If you're going to make claims
- 2:31of being a certain heritage, having certain heritage within
- 2:34your body, within you, your DNA, well, then you've got to, you
- 2:38gotta prove it through DNA. It's not enough anymore just to
- 2:41say it cause anyone out there can just say whatever they want.
- 2:45And because like, like it's like what?
- 2:47We can see what's happening within the trans community.
- 2:52Anyone can claim anything and you just we're told we're just
- 2:55supposed to accept it. Some giant 6 foot two man built
- 3:00like flipping, you know, built like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
- 3:04Let's just say it can turn around and claim can just say
- 3:09can identify as a woman. And we're told we're we're told
- 3:14by our government, the Queensland government stands up
- 3:17and says, well, if they claim to be a woman, you have to accept
- 3:19them as a woman. That's absolutely ridiculous.
- 3:21But this is where we're at. Comment So let's check out this.
- 3:24Check out this article. So the headline criminal
- 3:28Sudanese migrant who identifies as Aboriginal allowed to stay in
- 3:34Australia. He's sorry.
- 3:38This story really frustrates me. He's Sudanese, still food in far
- 3:47so Sudanese migrant with the criminal record who self
- 3:51identifies as an Aboriginal man has been granted the right to
- 3:54stay in Australia. The man, known only as RCWV, was
- 3:58born in Khartoum and spent his 1st 20 years in Africa before
- 4:04relocating to Australia on a protection visa.
- 4:08His visa was revoked after he amassed a series of convictions
- 4:12including knife crime, car theft and serious driving offences
- 4:20that lift 1 victim with life threatening injuries.
- 4:24His rap sheet also included breaches of happy apprehended
- 4:28violence, orders, stalking and enhance, and an assault on an
- 4:35Aboriginal woman. I believe the Aboriginal woman
- 4:37he assaulted is his partner. I stop OK is about her.
- 4:44Don't worry about protecting her.
- 4:46He identifies as Aboriginal, that's all that matters.
- 4:49Facing deportation from his protection visa after his
- 4:53protection visa was cancelled, RCWV appealed to the
- 4:56Administrative Appeals Tribunal Tribunal.
- 5:00Tribunal decision was influenced by Direction 99 and edict from
- 5:05Immigration Minister Andrew Giles issued in January 23,
- 5:09which asked the tribunal to consider whether a non citizen
- 5:12have been to spent their formative years in Australia.
- 5:16In its submission, RCW claimed he had become an integral part
- 5:22of his local community during his 15 years in Australia.
- 5:25He highlighted his decade long partnership with an Aboriginal
- 5:30woman believe the same woman he's been assaulting, the same
- 5:34woman he was convicted of attacking.
- 5:35Yes and noted they have had they've had three children
- 5:38together. I self identify as an Aboriginal
- 5:42person and consider Australia to be my country.
- 5:49This infuriates me. Sorry, just gonna count.
- 5:56There, he he detailed his acceptance into the Indigenous
- 6:01community, adding including participation in a traditional
- 6:07smoking ceremony. Can I say I are not?
- 6:17I'm personally I'm not convinced that smoking ceremonies were
- 6:20part of actual tradition. Before white flowers came here.
- 6:28Before the English came here. I might be wrong, but I think
- 6:34there's evidence out there that it's not.
- 6:36It's not actually tradition, it's not actually indigenous
- 6:41culture. So he's participated in a
- 6:46smoking ceremony. Whatever, idiot.
- 6:49He also mentioned learning Aboriginal cultural practises,
- 6:53painting Aboriginal art. Please don't tell me he paints
- 6:57flippin dot art, which I've got some paintings, dot art painting
- 7:02are quite like them. They I think they're quite
- 7:04pretty. But again, it's not traditional.
- 7:07There is no cave paintings done in dot form.
- 7:11There are none the dots the dot born painting was brought about.
- 7:16It's only like couple of decades old.
- 7:19It's not again for the English. Here, we're here.
- 7:28Look at my lips. There was no dot painting before
- 7:34the Englishman came before Captain Cook.
- 7:38I don't believe there was any. It's a new form of It's a new
- 7:44art form, a new way to paint. It's a modern It's a monster.
- 7:52It's not just one solving project, writing a modern way of
- 7:56painting by tradition and indigenous artists have taken it
- 8:00up and whatever. I quite like it, but let's not
- 8:04say I gotta get one. Anyway, I'm not gonna carry on
- 8:10about this. I'm just want to get this done.
- 8:13Frustrating. So he's detailed.
- 8:17I'm going to go back. So despite his criminal history,
- 8:19the AAT ruled in favour in favour to remain in Australia.
- 8:24The decision was slammed by political commentators.
- 8:27Blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah.
- 8:34I said it before. I said we needed to bring in
- 8:37DNA. Any clown, any freaking criminal
- 8:42from any freaking country can come in here, claim to be
- 8:46indigenous now and all. Well, we've got to accept that
- 8:50he's Sudanese. Send him back to the Sudan.
- 8:57I'm sorry, but all you indigenous people that allow
- 9:03this to happen, you're stupid. All these Caucasian people in
- 9:09government that allow this to happen, you're dumb.
- 9:14This is stupidity. Absolute stupidity.
- 9:21Where is Lydia Thorpe? She's too busy praising around
- 9:26the countryside. I'm proclaiming that Palestine,
- 9:32Palestine needs to be freed because Palestine is like the
- 9:37indigenous people of Australia. But she's saying nothing about
- 9:40this kind of thing. This is the kind of thing that
- 9:43she should be protesting about. Lydia Thorpe, you should be
- 9:47protesting about this. This is Amish.
- 9:58Please let me know what you think.
- 10:00Am I overreacting here? Am I overreacting?
- 10:04Sudanese born in the Sudan, lived there for the 1st 20 years
- 10:10of his life. 100% African claiming to be an indigenous
- 10:17Australian because he identifies as that.
- 10:23It's just a criminal, criminal. Oh my, I can't deal with this.
- 10:32All these people who allowed this to happen, you all just
- 10:35flipping idiots.
