- 3:53Speaker 3: What about you, Gabe? What your little victory?
- 3:56Speaker 4: My little victory is I have two one I am
- 3:59Speaker 4: wearing hoots Daddy shorts today.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yes, I did this to make you proud.
- 4:03Speaker 4: But my little victory from yesterday despite the heat, Angie
- 4:07Speaker 4: and I were talking about this in my office.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I was like, man, what do I do?
- 4:10Speaker 4: Do I try to take my dog for a walk
- 4:12Speaker 4: or do I just play fetch with her in the backyard?
- 4:16Speaker 1: For multiple reasons.
- 4:17Speaker 4: You know there's positives and negatives to each when it's hot. Yeah,
- 4:20Speaker 4: so what I did neither of them. I set up
- 4:23Speaker 4: her pool in the backyard.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Oh, I saw this picture.
- 4:26Speaker 4: I just had a couple of pool hotties in South
- 4:29Speaker 4: Fargo yesterday. I had a couple pool babes just chilling
- 4:32Speaker 4: in the backyard.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Oh you and your I mean Wanona and your wife.
- 4:37Speaker 1: No, she wasn't home.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Oh so you're calling yourself a pool babby.
- 4:40Speaker 1: It's just me and Winona, couple pool babes chilling. I
- 4:43Speaker 1: suppose all.
- 4:45Speaker 4: The guys working on the grass to see.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I did see the picture of Onanona in the pool
- 4:52Speaker 2: on our Facebook page yesterday, So thank you for posting
- 4:55Speaker 2: that because I thought that was so cute.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she loves that thing.
- 4:58Speaker 4: I hate it, but he loves it because it's super
- 5:01Speaker 4: annoying because it's not and I'm not talking about like
- 5:04Speaker 4: one of those plastic little kiddie pools that you can,
- 5:06Speaker 4: you know, just tip over and empty. This is like
- 5:10Speaker 4: it's not heavy duty, but it is heavy Yeah, so
- 5:14Speaker 4: it takes kind of a little bit more work than
- 5:16Speaker 4: plastic pools.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Is it still up right now?
- 5:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just up.
- 5:20Speaker 4: I'll probably empty it on Friday and then just wait
- 5:22Speaker 4: till the next time I reset it up.
- 5:24Speaker 5: We'll see.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I mean it's gonna be nice.
- 5:25Speaker 4: I could just empty it, let the water out, let
- 5:27Speaker 4: it kind of dry out, and then just refill it.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Yeah, because I mean today's gonna be hot too.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I want you to let Winona live her best pool
- 5:35Speaker 2: pupper's life.
- 5:36Speaker 1: That's right. We get two pool batties in South Fargo.
- 5:39Speaker 4: If you need to show yourself stop.
- 5:52Speaker 1: All right.
- 5:53Speaker 4: We had Monday off, or if you were lucky enough
- 5:56Speaker 4: to have Monday off, we hope you had a great day.
- 5:58Speaker 1: And that posed a.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Question and I talked a little bit about yesterday that
- 6:01Speaker 4: we wanted to bring to you. This is also up
- 6:04Speaker 4: on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page. It
- 6:07Speaker 4: feels like once every month or every other month, we
- 6:10Speaker 4: end up with a three day weekend. Yes, And if
- 6:14Speaker 4: you had to choose, would you rather have the Monday.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Off or Friday?
- 6:22Speaker 4: All right, let us know it's seven oh one two
- 6:24Speaker 4: eight zero one nine eight seven and this question is
- 6:26Speaker 4: up on Facebook, and it is a lot closer than
- 6:29Speaker 4: what I thought it would be. I thought one answer
- 6:32Speaker 4: would dominate and one would not, but that is not
- 6:35Speaker 4: the case.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I'm a Friday. I want it to be Friday. The
- 6:39Speaker 3: only caveat would be if it's football season and my
- 6:42Speaker 3: team is playing Monday.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Night football, then I would want the Monday off. But
- 6:48Speaker 2: for the most part, yeah, Friday, Friday is the day
- 6:52Speaker 2: that I would want. I would want to have Friday, Saturday, Sunday, okay,
- 6:56Speaker 2: and then get back into routine.
- 6:58Speaker 3: I'd rather my.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Week get cut short after I've already been working, then
- 7:03Speaker 2: starting the work week short.
- 7:06Speaker 3: And I don't know exactly.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I think because on Thursday, right, you would get out
- 7:11Speaker 2: of work and then you can stay up super super late,
- 7:15Speaker 2: and then it's Friday and it's like I don't have
- 7:18Speaker 2: to work today, great, and then you can stay up
- 7:20Speaker 2: super late on Friday. I'm trying to maximize my time,
- 7:22Speaker 2: so I feel like when the day off is when
- 7:25Speaker 2: I would have to go to bed early anyway, which
- 7:26Speaker 2: I had to do on Memorial Day. On Monday, I
- 7:29Speaker 2: had to go to bed early because this job starts
- 7:31Speaker 2: so early. Then it feels like it's a truncated day off.
- 7:35Speaker 3: So I don't like it. So Friday's my answer.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Yeah, for me, I prefer having the Monday off. And
- 7:42Speaker 4: there's two reasons why. Number One, poor Monday. I mean,
- 7:46Speaker 4: Monday has been getting dragged through the mud since eternity.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Oh okay, if you say you have a case of
- 7:52Speaker 3: the Mondays, that's.
- 7:53Speaker 4: Bad, right, And my thing is Friday. Now, we're very
- 7:57Speaker 4: lucky every single day that Angie and I get to
- 7:59Speaker 4: hay out with you here on Big ninety eight point
- 8:01Speaker 4: seven is fun. We do have a job that is
- 8:03Speaker 4: very fun, like ninety nine percent of the time. And
- 8:08Speaker 4: I just really like Friday vibes in the Big ninety
- 8:11Speaker 4: eight point seven studes.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It's just really fun in here. And we do flannel
- 8:15Speaker 1: Fridays in the winter.
- 8:16Speaker 4: If we don't have work on Fridays, I mean, we
- 8:19Speaker 4: can still do flannel Fridays, but I can't come on
- 8:21Speaker 4: here and annoy you about it all October through May.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I feel like a jerk now and.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Then here what my other argument would be. Right, So,
- 8:30Speaker 4: when you have Monday off, that means you wake up
- 8:34Speaker 4: Sunday and you have nowhere to go, nowhere to be,
- 8:37Speaker 4: or you have all day to accomplish all of the
- 8:40Speaker 4: things you need to accomplish. If you have Fridays off, well,
- 8:45Speaker 4: Thursday part of your you know, start the party day,
- 8:48Speaker 4: you still got to go to work. If you have
- 8:50Speaker 4: Monday off, at least you wake up at home and
- 8:52Speaker 4: you can I don't know, use the entirety of the day.
- 8:56Speaker 4: If you have Friday off, yeah, you can stay up
- 8:58Speaker 4: late on Thursday, but you still got to go to work.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Can spend eight hours there?
- 9:01Speaker 5: No?
- 9:01Speaker 3: Not on Friday. If the Friday you.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Have off, No, I know on Friday you do, but
- 9:05Speaker 4: on Thursday you on Thursday, you still have to go
- 9:08Speaker 4: to work. Do you see what I'm saying? So like, yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 4: but I guess you're about to get your Friday going.
- 9:13Speaker 4: You still got to go on Thursday. I like waking
- 9:15Speaker 4: up at home and not having to leave home. Okay
- 9:19Speaker 4: the next day.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I get what you mean. I get what you mean.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I just wholeheartedly disagree.
- 9:25Speaker 4: I want Tuesday to start being the day everybody hates. Sorry,
- 9:28Speaker 4: poor Monday has been getting smoked per years.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Feel bad for Monday in that regard, but that's because
- 9:33Speaker 2: we're signing like emotion to Monday.
- 9:36Speaker 1: That's right, seven oh one to eight zero one nine
- 9:39Speaker 1: eight seven. And let us know what you think.
- 9:40Speaker 4: And I'm gonna tell you up the comments on Facebook
- 9:43Speaker 4: and your texts and find out what is the answer,
- 9:46Speaker 4: because this is a lot closer than I thought.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I thought everybody would say Friday.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I will say, Julia, here something with a both, and
- 9:54Speaker 2: let's make it a four day weekend.
- 9:56Speaker 3: You're correct.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I like the way she's thinking that.
- 10:01Speaker 4: And I was a little bit surprised by this after
- 10:03Speaker 4: a flood of responses came in on Facebook. But we
- 10:06Speaker 4: had Monday off, and that posed the question, Hey, if
- 10:09Speaker 4: you could have a three day weekend, would you either
- 10:11Speaker 4: have the Friday off or the Monday off?
- 10:14Speaker 1: And Angie and I differ a little bit on this.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I said Friday, I would prefer Friday, Gabe is a Monday.
- 10:21Speaker 3: But turns out.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I'm a minority in the minority because, oh my god,
- 10:28Speaker 2: most people said that they would prefer to have the
- 10:31Speaker 2: Monday off. I don't get it, but you know what,
- 10:35Speaker 2: who am I to yuck your yum?
- 10:37Speaker 3: At the end of the day.
- 10:38Speaker 2: You did get the Monday off and I didn't get
- 10:40Speaker 2: a Friday, so whatever.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I mean, it's kind of like the same argument.
- 10:44Speaker 5: You know.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Let's say you have to run a marathon. Yeah, but
- 10:48Speaker 4: you get to start at mile four, Well you still
- 10:52Speaker 4: got to go up to twenty three and then back
- 10:54Speaker 4: to one to run the full marathon, or if you
- 10:56Speaker 4: just start at one.
- 10:57Speaker 1: It's I mean, it's the same thing, and.
- 11:00Speaker 2: We just have our preferences. Apparently the Mondays get it.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I think everyone is feeling sorry for Monday.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Getting touch a bad rap wow, Or people just really
- 11:11Speaker 4: love flannel Fridays in October through May and don't want
- 11:13Speaker 4: to miss out.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Oh that's sweet.
- 11:18Speaker 5: This is am I the problem.
- 11:21Speaker 1: It's me, Hi, the problem.
- 11:25Speaker 2: It's me.
- 11:25Speaker 5: We'll hear one side of the story and with your help.
- 11:30Speaker 6: We decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 11:34Speaker 1: That's right, I am the problem.
- 11:36Speaker 5: On Big ninety eight point seven, we'll.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Jump right in.
- 11:40Speaker 5: Hi.
- 11:41Speaker 2: This is Kyle, my ex wife and I finalized our
- 11:44Speaker 2: divorce over six months ago, and she's still pushing me
- 11:48Speaker 2: to handyman work for her parents. It's like her parents
- 11:54Speaker 2: don't even recognize we're divorced.
- 11:56Speaker 3: When we first.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Separated, I would still help them out because my son
- 12:00Speaker 2: was living with them at the time while my ex
- 12:02Speaker 2: got her life together and found a place to live
- 12:05Speaker 2: close by. So I was always polite and helped out
- 12:08Speaker 2: whenever I was asked. My ex has her own place
- 12:12Speaker 2: now and our son lives with her, not my former
- 12:15Speaker 2: in laws, but I still get called over to help
- 12:17Speaker 2: her parents, and I just don't feel that's my responsibility
- 12:21Speaker 2: at all. Am I the problem here? Or is my
- 12:24Speaker 2: ex wife a crazy person? Okay, what a way to
- 12:28Speaker 2: end it. Clearly there's still some bad feelings because or
- 12:34Speaker 2: is my ex wife a crazy person?
- 12:36Speaker 3: That's a little much, Kyle, but I.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Like it and not a high note.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Why do you think seven oh one too? Eight on
- 12:43Speaker 2: one nine eighty seven text us call us. We also
- 12:46Speaker 2: have this up on the Big ninety eight point seven
- 12:48Speaker 2: Facebook page as someone who has an ex husband an
- 12:52Speaker 2: ex in laws, bro, just help your ex in laws,
- 12:57Speaker 2: no chance?
- 12:58Speaker 3: Yes, they're fair. I know that you are no longer
- 13:01Speaker 3: with your baby mama.
- 13:03Speaker 2: However, if you guys have a kid that is the
- 13:07Speaker 2: grandchild of those parents, and so your family you're connected in.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Some way forever.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I think if you didn't have a child, then fine, bye,
- 13:17Speaker 2: never do anything for them again. But your family, you're
- 13:19Speaker 2: connected on some level. And I just feel like it's
- 13:22Speaker 2: not that big a deal, Like just help them out,
- 13:26Speaker 2: because if they're a parent, like they're getting older, they're
- 13:29Speaker 2: clearly turning to you because you're who they can turn to.
- 13:33Speaker 3: I feel like if they had other people.
- 13:35Speaker 2: To turn to, they would He's the one, Kyle, You're
- 13:38Speaker 2: the one, like, help them out.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I have Well, Kyle, it's clearly not the one. He's
- 13:43Speaker 4: the ex.
- 13:44Speaker 5: The ex.
- 13:45Speaker 3: I know you think that he.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Shouldn't say it was like Neo, he's the one no
- 13:51Speaker 2: I met maybe like Anakin skywaker.
- 13:54Speaker 4: All right, sure, No, he's got to cut this off, right,
- 13:58Speaker 4: You got to cut the cord. You got to cut
- 14:00Speaker 4: it at some point here. If it is, hey, could
- 14:03Speaker 4: you help me with the ride from time to time?
- 14:05Speaker 4: That's different going over there to what cut their grass?
- 14:08Speaker 4: What's handyman work? Handyman work ends at divorce time. Okay,
- 14:13Speaker 4: have them hire it out to the neighbor kid or
- 14:16Speaker 4: someone else. Okay, No, not handyman work, absolutely not. That
- 14:21Speaker 4: is why to me, handyman work isn't like a necessity
- 14:24Speaker 4: for them to survive. Okay, if it is something they
- 14:26Speaker 4: need to continue on with life, that's a little bit different.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Handyman work that's a minor inconvenience around their house. You're
- 14:34Speaker 4: not there to help out minor inconveniences anymore. What do
- 14:37Speaker 4: they give you the best Christmas gifts ever? If they
- 14:40Speaker 4: do not get you Christmas gifts? Kyle cut it off completely,
- 14:43Speaker 4: just say sorry, unavailable.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Okay, but that's still his kid's grandparents.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And when they he needed somewhere to live the sun
- 14:52Speaker 2: like he lived with the grandparents, I feel like you
- 14:55Speaker 2: could still pay it back to them.
- 14:57Speaker 1: He's not living there anymore.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, this makes me sad. I'm really still
- 15:02Speaker 3: cool with my.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Ex's parents, like my ex in laws. I mean, I
- 15:08Speaker 2: chat with my ex's mom all the time on the phone.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I've let me and my ex weren't even together anymore,
- 15:15Speaker 2: and I let her move in with me for a
- 15:17Speaker 2: bit when she needed, like during a transition period of life,
- 15:21Speaker 2: like and we weren't together, but she was.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Asking you to come over and dust the shades and vacuum.
- 15:26Speaker 3: I mean, I was supporting her entire life.
- 15:29Speaker 2: She wasn't paying me.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm saying.
- 15:32Speaker 3: If she's my kid's grandmother.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but she was living with you, that's a little
- 15:36Speaker 4: bit different. She's coming into your domain. Was she calling
- 15:39Speaker 4: you to run over there and help out with little
- 15:40Speaker 4: Aaron little chore here there?
- 15:42Speaker 3: I'm telling you that would have been preferable.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Well, I'm not saying it wouldn't have been, That's what I'm.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Saying, But like I'm I just feel like if they're
- 15:50Speaker 2: still connected to you via family, like.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I think that you should. Wow, we are very opposite
- 15:57Speaker 3: sites of this.
- 15:58Speaker 2: What don't you think is Kyle in the right to
- 16:02Speaker 2: want to cut the cord with helping out his ex
- 16:05Speaker 2: in laws, right?
- 16:06Speaker 3: Or is he being a little brat and.
- 16:08Speaker 4: A lot of this I think sort of You know,
- 16:11Speaker 4: are you an electrician, Kyle, and you're helping them with
- 16:14Speaker 4: electrical work?
- 16:15Speaker 1: Like, yeah, sure, help them out, I guess.
- 16:16Speaker 4: But if you're going over there to weed wack and
- 16:18Speaker 4: cut some grass and turn some soil and fix the
- 16:21Speaker 4: squeaky door handle or whatever, absolutely not that's got to
- 16:25Speaker 4: be done.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I think he can put up some boundaries of like
- 16:28Speaker 2: when he has free time or whatever, but I think
- 16:31Speaker 2: he should still do it. I would do anything for
- 16:34Speaker 2: my ex in laws. And we're not even on the
- 16:38Speaker 2: best terms.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Didn't you just say you were cool?
- 16:40Speaker 2: Now now we're cool, But like there's a lot of
- 16:44Speaker 2: weird history there. Sure, but because they are my kid's grandparents,
- 16:48Speaker 2: I feel like I can't ever cut them out completely,
- 16:52Speaker 2: Like if they need help them and to help them.
- 16:53Speaker 1: And some of this would depend Like was the divorce
- 16:56Speaker 1: pretty kind?
- 16:57Speaker 3: He called his ex wife a crazy person.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Doesn't sound like it was great, right, seven one two,
- 17:03Speaker 4: eight zero one nine eighty seven?
- 17:05Speaker 5: What do you think?
- 17:05Speaker 4: I will also have this up on Facebook and this
- 17:08Speaker 4: might be a great time if you are someone who
- 17:10Speaker 4: has gone through a divorce.
- 17:11Speaker 1: You know, how does that relationship work?
- 17:13Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:14Speaker 4: Because Angie is right, you are still kind of connected,
- 17:16Speaker 4: not kind of you just are connected for life. A
- 17:18Speaker 4: blood led that's right. That is your kid's grandparents. Maybe
- 17:22Speaker 4: helping him out is the way to go. Let us
- 17:23Speaker 4: know what you think this morning on Big ninety eight
- 17:25Speaker 4: point seven.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Nine The Big ninety eight point seven Morning Show is
- 17:33Speaker 3: a House Divided.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Kyle wrote into us and he wanted to know if
- 17:39Speaker 2: he's being crazy for wanting to cut the cord with
- 17:41Speaker 2: his ex in laws, so he and his wife are
- 17:45Speaker 2: no longer married.
- 17:46Speaker 3: It's his ex wife.
- 17:48Speaker 2: But even though they are no longer together, the ex
- 17:52Speaker 2: wife and his ex in laws are still pushing him
- 17:55Speaker 2: to go over to the parents' house to help with
- 17:57Speaker 2: handyman work. So he doesn't want to do that. He
- 18:01Speaker 2: thinks we're not together. I don't have to do that.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I think that he should because they are bonded by
- 18:09Speaker 2: a child. They have a child, so his ex in
- 18:13Speaker 2: laws are his kid's grandparents, and so to me, I'm like,
- 18:17Speaker 2: you're still family.
- 18:18Speaker 3: You should just help them out. Gabe. That's a hard
- 18:21Speaker 3: no from you.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Kyle.
- 18:22Speaker 4: You're a grown adult man, Dye just say no. It's
- 18:25Speaker 4: pretty simple. You're a grown adult. We want to help
- 18:27Speaker 4: him when you want to help him, don't help him
- 18:29Speaker 4: when you don't want to help him.
- 18:30Speaker 2: We wanted to know what you thought. Seven oh one,
- 18:32Speaker 2: two and oh one nine eight seven. You can call
- 18:35Speaker 2: us text us. We also put this up on the
- 18:36Speaker 2: big ninety eight points I'm in Facebook page.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I will say this.
- 18:40Speaker 2: My man, Mikey was driving Liam to school and they
- 18:45Speaker 2: listen on the drive in and I got a text
- 18:47Speaker 2: from Mikey that said Team Gabe.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Hey, there we go.
- 18:53Speaker 4: That's what I'm talking about, Mikey, Thanks big dog.
- 18:56Speaker 2: That's so funny. He does have X in like he
- 18:59Speaker 2: was married before me. He has x in laws, and
- 19:02Speaker 2: I can't think of a single time he's ever done anything, even.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Though those ex in laws are the grandparents to his children.
- 19:13Speaker 3: But I don't know. I guess I'm just as softy.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I can't cut the cord. I would still.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Detachment issues over here, Michelle, she said, I don't think
- 19:24Speaker 4: you're the problem, but your ex and her parents are
- 19:26Speaker 4: not either. Just say no, maybe gently suggests someone else
- 19:30Speaker 4: fixed their handyman problems. I wouldn't burn any bridges since
- 19:34Speaker 4: your son will have a relationship with them and you
- 19:36Speaker 4: may cross paths for years.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Good luck.
- 19:39Speaker 4: That's kind of sort of what I'm what I said,
- 19:41Speaker 4: Just no, Just say no, dude.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Janis said, nope, cut the ties.
- 19:46Speaker 4: We had Amando who said, in reality, they'll be in
- 19:49Speaker 4: your life for a long time since your son is
- 19:51Speaker 4: their grandchild. I'd continue to help them, keeping as much
- 19:54Speaker 4: of the relationship as you can for your child.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I think there are you know, this is one of
- 20:00Speaker 1: those is hard for me.
- 20:01Speaker 4: It's just too there's too many caveats, like how often
- 20:04Speaker 4: are you being a handyman? Is it you know, twice
- 20:07Speaker 4: a year? Well yeah, then that's a little different. But
- 20:08Speaker 4: it's every week. What are you over there cutting the
- 20:10Speaker 4: grass and trimming the hedges and fixing the babe?
- 20:14Speaker 1: See that's I got other stuff to do.
- 20:16Speaker 2: But their family, I think he can put some boundaries
- 20:20Speaker 2: in place, like I'll get to it. These are the
- 20:23Speaker 2: times when I would be able to get to But
- 20:24Speaker 2: I don't think that he should say no. I think
- 20:27Speaker 2: that they are technically still family. That's what happens when
- 20:30Speaker 2: you marry someone and you have a kid with them.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Even if you split, like you've you've already tied together.
- 20:36Speaker 4: See that's the thing though, That's what they don't tell
- 20:38Speaker 4: you about if you get divorced or you break up
- 20:39Speaker 4: with someone. So obviously that's hard. Yeah, but then the
- 20:43Speaker 4: other hard part is you break up with their family too.
- 20:45Speaker 4: That's just the fact of the man.
- 20:46Speaker 3: I did not break up with my excess family.
- 20:49Speaker 5: I did not.
- 20:49Speaker 4: We have Julia who said my immediate reaction is to
- 20:53Speaker 4: never side with a man's good critical thinking. There in
- 20:57Speaker 4: this situation, I still can't just say no. If you
- 21:01Speaker 4: don't want to. You're blowing this out of proportion, especially
- 21:04Speaker 4: calling her crazy.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Uh, it's still nice to be nice.
- 21:07Speaker 4: And even though divorce, agreeth Angie and I bet to,
- 21:09Speaker 4: the grandparents just want a relationship to just want the
- 21:13Speaker 4: relationship to remain. So he knows they still like him
- 21:16Speaker 4: and care about him. Doesn't seem like he reciprocates. Oh
- 21:19Speaker 4: my gosh, what if it is that?
- 21:22Speaker 2: What if they are sad to have lost him as
- 21:25Speaker 2: a son and lost so they're like, oh, the dishwasher
- 21:30Speaker 2: is on the prints.
- 21:31Speaker 1: They're really just inviting him over for lemonade. They don't
- 21:34Speaker 1: need the garage fixed.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Yeah, And he's like, I just don't like that you
- 21:37Speaker 2: created that woman.
- 21:44Speaker 6: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 21:48Speaker 6: good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Well, Gabe's good news of the day takes us right
- 21:53Speaker 4: here in the FM area, where a local business is
- 21:56Speaker 4: turning leftovers into something useful. When Bridger and Hayden head
- 22:01Speaker 4: out to work every morning, the Fargo North and NDSU
- 22:06Speaker 4: grads are ready for route work. Prairie Composts, North Dakota's
- 22:11Speaker 4: first food waste facility is helping keep food scraps out
- 22:15Speaker 4: of landfills and turning them into nutrient rich compost.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Here's a bridger.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Simple system of composting.
- 22:22Speaker 7: Basically is you have your nitrogen, which is your food waste.
- 22:25Speaker 7: We've got carbon and that's your sawdust and your wood chips.
- 22:28Speaker 7: You combine those two in kind of a recipe and
- 22:30Speaker 7: that creates the ideal environment for the microbes to live.
- 22:33Speaker 7: It is very rewarding to get to see the numbers climbing.
- 22:35Speaker 7: You know, we're up to seventy five thousand pounds of
- 22:38Speaker 7: food waste that we've diverted.
- 22:39Speaker 4: These guys have helped divert seventy five thousand pounds of
- 22:43Speaker 4: food waste. That is, that is a ton of food
- 22:47Speaker 4: waste that as being used for something else. With more
- 22:51Speaker 4: homes and businesses signing up that number, it keeps on growing.
- 22:54Speaker 4: One person's unfinished burger and fries might just become tomorrow's
- 22:59Speaker 4: garden flowers.
- 23:00Speaker 3: That's pretty.
- 23:01Speaker 1: And you know my favorite quote, if you don't here,
- 23:03Speaker 1: it is broken crans.
- 23:04Speaker 4: They still color. And the world is full of nice people.
- 23:07Speaker 4: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
