- 0:01Speaker 1: Now sor Presents No. Mark Simon show.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Well will bring you all the latest on the LaGuardia crash.
- 0:12Speaker 2: There's all sorts of details coming out. We'll bring you
- 0:15Speaker 2: all the latest on Iran. There are talks taking place.
- 0:18Speaker 2: We'll explain how that Iranian lie happened. We'll get to
- 0:23Speaker 2: the Democrats. How are they really polling for the midterms.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You'll be surprised at the answer. We'll get to lots
- 0:32Speaker 2: of stuff today. Mark Wayne Mullen will be confirmed later there,
- 0:35Speaker 2: you've just been confirmed. He'll be sworn in later today
- 0:38Speaker 2: as the new Department Homeland Security Secretary. So the lines
- 0:43Speaker 2: are crazy at the airport, three four, five hours. But
- 0:46Speaker 2: as I heard Curtis porn out this morning, everybody's whining
- 0:50Speaker 2: with these three hour lines. Walk around New York. You'll
- 0:52Speaker 2: see there's a three hour line for this pizza place
- 0:55Speaker 2: in Brooklyn. There's a three hour line for that hot
- 0:57Speaker 2: new doughnut place. There's a three hour line at pop
- 1:00Speaker 2: up bagels. People love these lines. Of course, in this one,
- 1:04Speaker 2: you're not really getting anything to eat at the end
- 1:05Speaker 2: of it. But the crash, the horrible crash at LaGuardia,
- 1:11Speaker 2: Now this is the interesting part. They've taken the black
- 1:14Speaker 2: box out of the plane. You know, that flight recorder
- 1:17Speaker 2: a black box. It has to be analyzed in Washington.
- 1:21Speaker 2: That's where they have the special equipment that can download
- 1:24Speaker 2: the data in the black box and analyze it. So
- 1:27Speaker 2: it's got to be done in DC. They had to
- 1:29Speaker 2: take the box out of the plane and get it
- 1:31Speaker 2: to d C. I found it interesting that they put
- 1:35Speaker 2: it in a car and drove it to DC. This
- 1:37Speaker 2: is the National Transportation Safety Board, this is the flight experts.
- 1:41Speaker 2: They didn't want to get on a plane with it.
- 1:44Speaker 2: They drove it for four or five hours down to Washington,
- 1:46Speaker 2: d C. They thought it'd be better not to get
- 1:50Speaker 2: on a plane right now. You know. They had a
- 1:52Speaker 2: problem with these National Transportation Safety Board inspectors that come
- 1:58Speaker 2: after a crash and analyze and figure out what happened.
- 2:00Speaker 2: They had to get them to New York and the
- 2:03Speaker 2: problem was they had to get They went through an airport.
- 2:06Speaker 2: They were going to get on a plane, but they
- 2:08Speaker 2: had troubled in the airport. They had to wait in
- 2:10Speaker 2: these three hour security lines. So calls had to be
- 2:14Speaker 2: made to the Transportation Secretary to get these guys through
- 2:18Speaker 2: the security line. So they could get here. That was
- 2:20Speaker 2: the delay in getting them here. It's too soon to
- 2:25Speaker 2: really say who's to blame for what it looks like
- 2:27Speaker 2: the air traffic controller really screwed up, but you never
- 2:30Speaker 2: know until you get all the facts. The firetruck, here's
- 2:34Speaker 2: the problem. There was another emergency at the airport at
- 2:37Speaker 2: the same time. There was a plane on another runway
- 2:41Speaker 2: that had an awful smell in the cabin smoke. They
- 2:43Speaker 2: thought there was fire. That's why the fire trucks and
- 2:47Speaker 2: that truck that was going to cross the runway actually
- 2:50Speaker 2: was a caravan. There were other trucks with it behind it,
- 2:54Speaker 2: so that's why it was in a hurry to get
- 2:56Speaker 2: to that scene of the other emergency, and that's why
- 2:59Speaker 2: it wanted to drive right across the runway to get
- 3:01Speaker 2: to that other emergency. The air traffic controller is in
- 3:05Speaker 2: charge of not only the planes coming in, but he's
- 3:08Speaker 2: in charge of everything on the ground, all the trucks.
- 3:11Speaker 2: And you know, they have radar that they see all
- 3:13Speaker 2: the planes, everything in the sky with there's another radar
- 3:16Speaker 2: set they have that shows everything on the ground, every vehicle,
- 3:20Speaker 2: everything where it is. So it's very hard to coordinate
- 3:23Speaker 2: all that. But the air traffic controller gave the truck
- 3:27Speaker 2: that go had to cross the runway. Now it looks
- 3:30Speaker 2: like he forgot that he'd also cleared an airplane to
- 3:35Speaker 2: land on that runway. And again it's too soon to
- 3:38Speaker 2: say exactly what happened. Air traffic controllers from the past
- 3:41Speaker 2: lots of experience have looked at this and said this
- 3:44Speaker 2: guy was just brain dead, just really screwed up, or
- 3:47Speaker 2: there wasn't enough. There weren't enough traffic controllers in the
- 3:50Speaker 2: tower and one guy was handling too many things and
- 3:54Speaker 2: forgot he had cleared the plane to land. Now, apparently,
- 3:59Speaker 2: once a plane is clear to land, that plane owns
- 4:01Speaker 2: the runway. It has priority over everything. If there's a
- 4:05Speaker 2: plane landing, nothing absolutely nothing, no matter what the emergency's
- 4:09Speaker 2: allowed on the runway. So the air traffic controller shouldn't
- 4:11Speaker 2: have okayed the truck to cross, And when he saw
- 4:17Speaker 2: what was going to happen, he kept yelling stop, stop, stop.
- 4:20Speaker 2: He kept yelling the truck stop. Now a lot of
- 4:23Speaker 2: experts are looking at that saying that was a mistake too.
- 4:26Speaker 2: It's in the middle of the runway. The last thing
- 4:27Speaker 2: you wanted to do is stop. He should have been
- 4:30Speaker 2: yelling get off the runway, or speed up, or get
- 4:33Speaker 2: out of there, something like that. But telling it to
- 4:35Speaker 2: stop was a mistake. But on the other hand, because
- 4:40Speaker 2: it was stopped right in the center of the runway,
- 4:43Speaker 2: the plane hit the truck with its nose, which is
- 4:47Speaker 2: horrible as it was. People were killed, the two pilots
- 4:50Speaker 2: smashed up the nose of the plane. It might have
- 4:53Speaker 2: been worse if the position was a little different. If
- 4:56Speaker 2: it hit the wing and the engines, it might have
- 4:58Speaker 2: blown up something the fuselage. It might have created a
- 5:02Speaker 2: massive explosion and fire that could have killed everybody on
- 5:05Speaker 2: the plane. So a horrible situation. The stewardess was in
- 5:11Speaker 2: that jump seat, not a regular seat. You know if
- 5:13Speaker 2: they sit up in the front and that little seat
- 5:14Speaker 2: that pops down, that jump seat with the straps, well,
- 5:17Speaker 2: that's a very special seat. It's got all kinds of
- 5:20Speaker 2: security on its straps and harnesses, and it's much more
- 5:24Speaker 2: secure than the seat the passengers sit in. They make
- 5:27Speaker 2: it much stronger, much more crash resistant. They make it
- 5:31Speaker 2: much safer. And their excuse is, why don't they do
- 5:34Speaker 2: all the passenger seats like no, Well, their excuse is,
- 5:37Speaker 2: you got to make sure the stewardess survives anything because
- 5:40Speaker 2: she's going to take care of the passengers. So that's why,
- 5:44Speaker 2: even though it tore out of the plane and was ejected,
- 5:48Speaker 2: flew out of the plane, the harness system on it
- 5:50Speaker 2: kept her totally secure in it, and she did get
- 5:54Speaker 2: a fractured leg, but otherwise she's fine. She was thrown
- 5:57Speaker 2: three hundred feet out of the plane landing on the runway.
- 6:01Speaker 2: An absolute miracle that she didn't suffer more injuries, but
- 6:05Speaker 2: she'll be okay. Yeah, So that fire truck was actually
- 6:09Speaker 2: three vehicles that we're going to cross the runway. But
- 6:13Speaker 2: there's still no explanation. They got to wait and investigate
- 6:15Speaker 2: the whole thing. And some are saying this fire truck
- 6:20Speaker 2: driver should have realized he's on a runway, should it
- 6:22Speaker 2: look every which way to see if anything was coming.
- 6:26Speaker 2: So there's a lot of blame to go around, but
- 6:28Speaker 2: it's too soon, too soon to do it. We'll see.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Let's get to Iran. We continue to aggressively strike Iran
- 6:41Speaker 2: round the clock. I know the President said, done that
- 6:44Speaker 2: tweet on Saturday forty eight hours or else we're going
- 6:47Speaker 2: to obliterate your number one power plant. Is there's a
- 6:51Speaker 2: few power plants that ran. There's one main central power plant,
- 6:54Speaker 2: big ten billion dollar power plant. He said, if he
- 6:56Speaker 2: doesn't end in forty eight hours, we're going to obliterate
- 6:59Speaker 2: that power plant. Then yesterday putting out another tweet, we'll
- 7:03Speaker 2: give you five more days to negotiate. President has been
- 7:07Speaker 2: saying that they're negotiating with Iran. This has been the
- 7:12Speaker 2: word for a week. There are negotiating with Iran. So
- 7:14Speaker 2: Iran puts out a statement saying we've had absolutely no
- 7:18Speaker 2: talks with the United States. Now fake news, MSNBC, the CNN,
- 7:23Speaker 2: New York Times because aha, the President lied there. Iran
- 7:26Speaker 2: has said they're not talking to the United States. Well,
- 7:29Speaker 2: there are talks. We have quadruple confirmed it every which way.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Talks have been taking place around the clock. Here's the deal.
- 7:37Speaker 2: There's a third party involved, actually two, there's two other
- 7:41Speaker 2: nations that are the middlemen in these talks. Iran talks
- 7:44Speaker 2: to the other nation. They relay the stuff, we relay
- 7:48Speaker 2: the answer back. It's going through another nation. So that's
- 7:50Speaker 2: why Iran is able to tell that. It sounds like
- 7:53Speaker 2: a lie, but it's actually not the actual If you
- 7:56Speaker 2: look at the Iranian statement, we are not in talks
- 7:58Speaker 2: with the United States. So that's how they get away
- 8:01Speaker 2: with it. They're doing it to a third party, which
- 8:04Speaker 2: is often the way it's done over there. You know,
- 8:06Speaker 2: for all the talk that this is Israel pushed us
- 8:10Speaker 2: into this, this is Netanyahu leading Trump around. They always
- 8:14Speaker 2: want to convince you that Trump is a puppet of
- 8:16Speaker 2: Putin and now that he's a puppet of net and
- 8:19Speaker 2: Yah who he's being led around by Netanya who. But
- 8:22Speaker 2: as much as Israel and net nya who wanted to
- 8:24Speaker 2: get rid of Iran, it was really the Saudis that
- 8:26Speaker 2: pushed us even harder into this, even the New York
- 8:29Speaker 2: Times admitting that in a big story today, Saudi Arabia
- 8:33Speaker 2: pushed for going after Iran more than anybody. Hey, Bill
- 8:37Speaker 2: O'Reilly will be with us later and his last podcast
- 8:41Speaker 2: with Lindsay Graham, who sees all the intel every day,
- 8:44Speaker 2: sees all the daily intelligence briefings, everything. He'll explain to
- 8:48Speaker 2: us later. There was an imminent threat. There was a
- 8:51Speaker 2: very real threat, and that's why we had to go
- 8:53Speaker 2: when we did. That's why he couldn't wait. We'll get
- 8:56Speaker 2: to that later in the second hour. What that exact
- 8:58Speaker 2: imminent threat was nuclear stuff from Iran and long range missiles.
- 9:03Speaker 2: But we continue to attack round the clock, aggressively, striking
- 9:09Speaker 2: anything and everything. We're not going after the power plants
- 9:11Speaker 2: right now. But there are talks, President Trump, you.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Are now having really good discussions. They started last night,
- 9:21Speaker 3: a little bit the night before that, and I think
- 9:25Speaker 3: they're you know, I think they're very good. They want
- 9:29Speaker 3: to they want peace. They've agreed they will not have
- 9:32Speaker 3: a nuclear weapon, you know, et cetera, et cetera.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll see. Hey, ICE agents in the airport now.
- 9:38Speaker 2: They've sent the ICE agents into the airport and not
- 9:42Speaker 2: the full not that Minnesota combat uniform with the mask
- 9:46Speaker 2: and look like they're going into Vietnam. Not that uniform.
- 9:49Speaker 2: They got them toned down baseball hats. They just say police,
- 9:52Speaker 2: they don't say ICE on it. But they're really a
- 9:55Speaker 2: big help in the airports because they can do the
- 9:57Speaker 2: security of the perimeter, the front of the line, and
- 10:00Speaker 2: guard the gates and all that stuff, freeing up the
- 10:03Speaker 2: TSA agents just to do the actual inspection. Tom Homan
- 10:08Speaker 2: on the scene checking everything with ICE.
- 10:09Speaker 4: The ICE agent's doing is helping TSA plug the holes
- 10:13Speaker 4: of security. For instance, I mentioned they can work exceit
- 10:17Speaker 4: lanes and relief TSA officers from that duty and put
- 10:20Speaker 4: that TSA officer back on the X ray machine. And
- 10:23Speaker 4: when you go to the airport, you for show our
- 10:25Speaker 4: identification before you get to the X ray machine. Maybe
- 10:28Speaker 4: they can do that.
- 10:29Speaker 2: And thank God for the left wing Democrats who are
- 10:32Speaker 2: at the airport and are there to scream like maniacs
- 10:35Speaker 2: at the ICE agents. They love to yell and scream.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Here's one woman screaming at the ICE agents. Go back
- 10:42Speaker 2: to your master, Donald Trump, go back to your master
- 10:46Speaker 2: Net Yahoo. If he's still alive, go back to your master.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Then there's another woman screaming. Ice out now, Ice out now.
- 10:54Speaker 2: They hate the Sea law enforcement anywhere. But the ICE
- 10:57Speaker 2: agents were all over the place. A lot of airports yesterday, Atlantis, Cago, Cleveland, Houston,
- 11:02Speaker 2: Fort Myers, New Orleans, New York, JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh.
- 11:08Speaker 2: A lot of ICE agents out there now in San
- 11:11Speaker 2: Francisco at the airport. And this was totally separate. You
- 11:15Speaker 2: remember the President said ICE agents will be in the
- 11:17Speaker 2: airports and they'll arrest any illegals. Well, this incident had
- 11:21Speaker 2: nothing to do with that statement. This was totally different.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Just by coincidence, ICE agents had been tracking an illegal woman,
- 11:29Speaker 2: illegal immigrant who there was a twenty nineteen deportation order.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Seven years ago, she was ordered deported. She's been ducking
- 11:38Speaker 2: and avoiding a law enforcement for seven years now, and
- 11:42Speaker 2: she happened to go into the San Francisco airport. They
- 11:45Speaker 2: followed her there and got her there and they arrested her.
- 11:49Speaker 2: She started screaming, crying, jumping up and down, making a scene,
- 11:55Speaker 2: and of course it's San Francisco. All the left wing
- 11:58Speaker 2: crazy screaming and yelling at ICE taking out their phones.
- 12:01Speaker 2: The videos have gone super viral of this woman being arrested.
- 12:05Speaker 2: But she's totally illegal. The warranted deport came out in
- 12:10Speaker 2: twenty nineteen. They've been hunting her ever since. This had
- 12:13Speaker 2: nothing to do with the ICE agents at the airport,
- 12:16Speaker 2: but the video all over the place. Now, if you
- 12:20Speaker 2: watch fake news, you're going to see all these stories
- 12:23Speaker 2: about how the lines, the three four hour lines. People
- 12:26Speaker 2: are blaming Republicans and this is not the case. I
- 12:29Speaker 2: think everybody knows. The shutdown is Chuck Schumer and the Democrats.
- 12:33Speaker 2: They will not fund Homeland Security and TSA. This has
- 12:38Speaker 2: nothing to do with ICE. ICE has already funded, They
- 12:40Speaker 2: got all their funding. This is a separate matter, but
- 12:43Speaker 2: they're holding it up, holding up this funding, demanding changes
- 12:47Speaker 2: in ICE and all it. But it's absolutely in the
- 12:50Speaker 2: same people. Do blame the Democrats. If you're watching NPR
- 12:55Speaker 2: or PBS, you'll see these fake polls that they put out,
- 13:00Speaker 2: which it's very easy to do. You just slant the metrics,
- 13:02Speaker 2: you take the pole in the wrong place with the
- 13:04Speaker 2: wrong people, and you can get whatever results you want.
- 13:07Speaker 2: But we give credit to CNN. CNN changes are happening
- 13:14Speaker 2: over there. A lot of things are changing at CNN,
- 13:17Speaker 2: still left wing and kooky, but every so often they
- 13:20Speaker 2: go totally honest, and they did with a pole. Democrats
- 13:24Speaker 2: and the midterms are in big trouble, totally underwater. CNN
- 13:28Speaker 2: pollsters the lowest ever.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Look at us overall, they are fifty five points underwater.
- 13:34Speaker 5: They're approval rating is south of twenty percent. It's even
- 13:37Speaker 5: worse when you look at Independence. Look at this negative
- 13:40Speaker 5: sixty one points. That means that they're approval rating is
- 13:43Speaker 5: sixty one points lower.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Than their disapproval rating. Quinnipiac has been.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Polling this question for the better part of the twenty
- 13:50Speaker 5: first century. They have never found Democrats, at least those
- 13:54Speaker 5: in Congress, and worse shape than they are right now.
- 13:56Speaker 2: You can thank Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jefferies. They've got
- 13:59Speaker 2: you at the lowest poll numbers you've ever been in
- 14:02Speaker 2: in history. Now, why do they put out these fake
- 14:05Speaker 2: poles making it look like Democrats are going to win
- 14:07Speaker 2: while this talk about Democrats will take them into It's
- 14:10Speaker 2: to discourage fundraising for the Republicans. It's to just convince
- 14:15Speaker 2: people to donate to Democrats. But that's the real story.
- 14:19Speaker 2: That's CNN right there. Hey, remind me of that. We'll
- 14:22Speaker 2: ask Bill O'Riley about this later too. I noticed CNN
- 14:26Speaker 2: is trying out something. You know, you got all these
- 14:28Speaker 2: new podcasts. Sean Hannity has a good one. It's called
- 14:32Speaker 2: hanging Out or something like that, where it's not Sewan
- 14:35Speaker 2: with the suit and tie in the studio, it's Sean
- 14:37Speaker 2: looks like in a basement with a pool table and
- 14:40Speaker 2: a dartboard. Casual, like he's at home, very casual. Now,
- 14:44Speaker 2: the guy that started all of this was Bill Maher
- 14:47Speaker 2: with Club Random, which was actually done in the basement. Now,
- 14:51Speaker 2: it's the basement of his big mansion with very very
- 14:55Speaker 2: expensive looking basement. But it's in the basement. He's casual,
- 14:58Speaker 2: you know, jeans and a sweat and they're drinking. Well.
- 15:01Speaker 2: So everybody is copying this now for their podcast. They're
- 15:05Speaker 2: trying to look as casual as they can get. But
- 15:08Speaker 2: everybody was a little shocked. Yesterday CNN did it on
- 15:10Speaker 2: the air. Jake Tapper when he came on, didn't come
- 15:13Speaker 2: on from the big shiny news set with a suit
- 15:16Speaker 2: and tie. He came on from what looked like a basement.
- 15:19Speaker 2: It sort of is at home office, looking very casual.
- 15:24Speaker 2: So this is this is the new trend. This is
- 15:26Speaker 2: supposed to save television. Actually saves a lot of money
- 15:29Speaker 2: on scenery and lights and all of that. But we'll
- 15:33Speaker 2: talk about that later. We'll take some calls next. Eight
- 15:35Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten is the number. Hey,
- 15:39Speaker 2: we want some new callers. Sometimes people say you got
- 15:41Speaker 2: a lot of the same callers every day. Well that's
- 15:43Speaker 2: because they're good regulars, but also it's because they know
- 15:47Speaker 2: the number. You know, a lot of people want to call.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I hear that too. I would call I don't know
- 15:51Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:56Speaker 2: That's the number eight hundred three to two one zero
- 16:01Speaker 2: sevent ten.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Get hits in access to Mark by setting a pre
- 16:05Speaker 1: set in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and
- 16:08Speaker 1: his podcast. Now back to the Mark Simone Show on wor.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to uh Ronnie
- 16:18Speaker 2: in Connecticut. Ronnie, how you doing?
- 16:21Speaker 6: Mark?
- 16:21Speaker 7: How you doing? Big Sam? My friend calling from me
- 16:24Speaker 7: Stave in Connecticut. Yeah, I just wanted a call. I
- 16:27Speaker 7: was listening to talk about, you know, the midterms and
- 16:31Speaker 7: CNN and all that. Yeah. I really I don't know
- 16:34Speaker 7: how anybody at this point can vote Democrat. I mean,
- 16:40Speaker 7: this party stands for putting little boys and girls claus
- 16:44Speaker 7: vice versa. You know, I think right now everybody needs
- 16:48Speaker 7: to put their support behind President Trump and what he's doing,
- 16:51Speaker 7: because good luck.
- 16:52Speaker 2: With that one, because half of the people, yeah, crazy, angry, livid,
- 16:56Speaker 2: foaming at the mouth, Trump Trump arrangement syndrome, smoke coming
- 17:00Speaker 2: out of their ears. But thanks for calling. Let's go
- 17:03Speaker 2: to Joseph and Westchester. Joseph, how you doing?
- 17:07Speaker 7: Hi? I don't understand like the incident at Lookwater Airport,
- 17:11Speaker 7: Why why is the police and fire trucks. Why aren't
- 17:15Speaker 7: they using the NYST, the best fire department in the world.
- 17:19Speaker 2: What is the NYSD and YFD that's who it was.
- 17:25Speaker 7: No, the Fire Department of New York City. They're not
- 17:28Speaker 7: at the airport.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Well, they do come to the airport. There was a
- 17:30Speaker 2: caravan there of trucks, fire.
- 17:33Speaker 7: Train, i'd say, after the emergency. But they don't work
- 17:35Speaker 7: there regularly. And why is Governor Hockle so quiet on this?
- 17:38Speaker 2: Governor Hockle? I like that, Governor Hockele. Let's go to
- 17:44Speaker 2: Jack and Long Branch Jack.
- 17:45Speaker 8: How you doing, hey, Mark Smoan? How you doing now?
- 17:49Speaker 8: Show listening every day. The last time I spoke to you,
- 17:52Speaker 8: I think was nineteen seventy nine, you were on fixed
- 17:56Speaker 8: radio WBIX.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, you're calling too often. Try to spread the
- 18:00Speaker 2: calls out.
- 18:02Speaker 8: Anyway. I learned one thing from you that I do
- 18:05Speaker 8: all the time now. For the last six months or so,
- 18:07Speaker 8: I wear orange shoelaces.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Very good. Are you in a mental institution or a
- 18:13Speaker 2: prison or something?
- 18:14Speaker 8: And I just broke out a couple of days ago, and.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I'm for You're a bird? Oh okay, pep up the
- 18:19Speaker 2: good work.
- 18:20Speaker 7: I love you.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Thanks, thanks for calling. Let's go to Skeeter calling from somewhere.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Is that your name Skeeter?
- 18:28Speaker 7: Yes, Mark Morning, Yes, I gotta I have a quite
- 18:31Speaker 7: You're the inside man for us on many things. For information.
- 18:36Speaker 7: I just want to know, you know, these skunks from
- 18:39Speaker 7: the White House, Brandon Comy Clapper, what's going on with
- 18:43Speaker 7: that whole investigation with them? Weren't they pursuing that?
- 18:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going very slow, very slow. So the problem is, uh,
- 18:51Speaker 2: Trump has never been a ruthless guy. Uh. I mean
- 18:53Speaker 2: it might be in a war, you know, in a
- 18:55Speaker 2: business deal, but personally he's not ruthless. You got to
- 18:58Speaker 2: be like Biden. You got to be absolutely uless, and
- 19:01Speaker 2: you have to have a ruthless you know, Merrick Garland
- 19:03Speaker 2: kind of attorney gyon'll really go after these people. And
- 19:06Speaker 2: even if he in the case of Biden, even if
- 19:08Speaker 2: they didn't have anything to get him on, they would
- 19:10Speaker 2: just charge him with anything and raid their house and
- 19:12Speaker 2: go through everything and charge them with fifty seven counts
- 19:16Speaker 2: like they did to Trump all the time. I mean,
- 19:18Speaker 2: you look at the four cases. There was nothing there,
- 19:20Speaker 2: absolutely nothing there. All of them will be tossed out
- 19:24Speaker 2: immediately on appeal. That's why they hold up the appeal
- 19:26Speaker 2: and don't let it happen. But he's just not ruthless
- 19:29Speaker 2: enough about it. Let's go to Jay in New Jersey. Jay,
- 19:32Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 19:34Speaker 9: Hey?
- 19:34Speaker 7: Mark?
- 19:35Speaker 6: You know I was thinking about, you know what, Tucker Carlson,
- 19:38Speaker 6: you know, all his kooky stuff and recently about the war,
- 19:40Speaker 6: and I ran them much and I believe I remember
- 19:43Speaker 6: you on his show on Fox, Ain't I right?
- 19:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I used to do the Tucker Carlson so
- 19:48Speaker 2: but back then that was when he was normal. Then
- 19:49Speaker 2: he went off the deep end and became Alex Jones, off,
- 19:54Speaker 2: way off on the fringe. You know what happens sometimes
- 19:57Speaker 2: sometimes these people really are nuts. In the case at Tucker,
- 20:00Speaker 2: what happens is if you're on the big network with
- 20:02Speaker 2: a big show, you're gonna get huge ratings and you're normal.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Now when you get fired and you're doing the show
- 20:07Speaker 2: from home, out of your living room and you're not
- 20:10Speaker 2: on a network, you got no oub How do you
- 20:12Speaker 2: get attention? Well, you got to say crazy things. That way,
- 20:14Speaker 2: you get written up everywhere. You make some crazy statement,
- 20:17Speaker 2: it goes viral. You're being talked about every That's how
- 20:19Speaker 2: you attract listeners. Megan Kelly the same thing. Who's that
- 20:23Speaker 2: other one? Kansas O. Once you got to say crazy stuff,
- 20:26Speaker 2: have it go super viral. That's the only way you'll
- 20:28Speaker 2: get people to your podcast. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 20:32Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 20:33Speaker 10: Good morning, Mark Mark, I'm okay, Good morning, Mara Mark.
- 20:36Speaker 10: I'd like to clear up something about ma'am and Dami
- 20:40Speaker 10: going to break the Ramadan fast in the joint the
- 20:43Speaker 10: Rikers Island. Most of those people who laid out prayer,
- 20:48Speaker 10: reggential praying and claiming their Muslims, most of those are
- 20:53Speaker 10: African American. Those people because into jail, they're safety in numbers.
- 20:59Speaker 10: The African American kids, a lot of them become Muslims.
- 21:04Speaker 10: Die ins in the Irish shoes. He hang out together
- 21:07Speaker 10: and the Hispanics have their own rule.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Well, that's a good point viause. A lot of people
- 21:10Speaker 2: suddenly become Muslims in prison because it makes it easier
- 21:13Speaker 2: for you in prison. Also, a lot of people suddenly
- 21:16Speaker 2: claim they're Orthodox and have to have a Kosher milk.
- 21:18Speaker 2: You get better food that way, because.
- 21:20Speaker 10: You get better food. I knew a guy forty years ago.
- 21:23Speaker 10: He used to live next to my mother. And anyway,
- 21:28Speaker 10: he went to the joint sexual battery. He tried to
- 21:34Speaker 10: rape a stripper.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Right, So he.
- 21:37Speaker 10: Does seven years in the joint, and then when he
- 21:40Speaker 10: gets out, he's on probation. No less, he's out on paroi.
- 21:43Speaker 10: He's on probation. And then what he does is he
- 21:47Speaker 10: feigns being a connetison meta reader goes into Brooklyn Heights
- 21:51Speaker 10: and he first off, he misses as a parole appointment
- 21:55Speaker 10: for that day, his probation appointment, and he goes and
- 21:58Speaker 10: kills somebody.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Right, Vincent, I don't want you hanging around with these
- 22:01Speaker 2: kinds of people. They're gonna lead you astray.
- 22:03Speaker 11: Mark he's the best. Then when he came out to
- 22:06Speaker 11: joint the first time, Uh, all of a sudden, he's
- 22:10Speaker 11: where did day shiki? He has a prayer cap on
- 22:14Speaker 11: and he has the prayer BF. He became a buslom in.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Jail, Vincent, that's one of the few. Yes, very good appointments.
- 22:22Speaker 2: A lot of people thanks for calling, great call you.
- 22:24Speaker 2: A lot of people become Muslims. Just it makes life
- 22:26Speaker 2: a lot easier in prison. Hey, when we come back
- 22:29Speaker 2: to brilliant columnist Liz Peak, we'll talk to her next
- 22:32Speaker 2: On seven to ten w.
- 22:34Speaker 1: R to New York, Mark Simone wr.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Well, Hey do we have Liz Peak. Yep, we're getting
- 22:46Speaker 2: here the great columnist, Liz Peak. We'll talk to her
- 22:50Speaker 2: about all sorts of stuff coming up.
- 22:54Speaker 7: Now.
- 22:54Speaker 2: The caller before said something about the fire truck UH
- 22:57Speaker 2: at the airport LaGuardia that got hit by the plane,
- 23:00Speaker 2: not being a New York City Fire department. Well, so
- 23:03Speaker 2: I checked. Apparently Port authorityfire handles fires. It's Port Authority
- 23:09Speaker 2: fire trucks, but they're backed up by the New York
- 23:12Speaker 2: Fire Department. So and just in a massive coincidence, I'm
- 23:15Speaker 2: am seeing a lunch today for the fire commissioner. So
- 23:17Speaker 2: I'll get you a definite answer on that. We'll do it.
- 23:20Speaker 2: We'll bring it to you tomorrow, but with us right now.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Liz Peak, the brilliant columnist, and you see her all
- 23:27Speaker 2: over television. You reader columns on Foxnews dot com, The
- 23:30Speaker 2: Hill dot com, and even better, check her website lizpeak
- 23:34Speaker 2: dot com for great news and analysis, and sign up
- 23:37Speaker 2: you'll get a you'll get news and analysis email to
- 23:39Speaker 2: your free every morning lizpeak dot com. Lizpeak, how you doing,
- 23:46Speaker 2: I'm terrific.
- 23:46Speaker 9: Thank you. How about you?
- 23:48Speaker 2: I'm good, I'm good. Where do we even start the shutdown?
- 23:52Speaker 2: The three hour lines, the four hour lines at the airport.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Who's going to get the blame for all of this?
- 23:58Speaker 9: I think everyone is getting blame for this, honestly, Mark,
- 24:03Speaker 9: I mean, I think Republicans are taking the brunt of it,
- 24:06Speaker 9: even though it is Democrats who basically have shut down
- 24:10Speaker 9: the government by refusing to fund DHS. But Republicans are
- 24:14Speaker 9: refusing to fund part of DHS at the Transportation Security Administration,
- 24:19Speaker 9: which mainly is responsible for all these lines that are
- 24:24Speaker 9: making people crazy across the country. And I got to
- 24:28Speaker 9: tell you, I really do think people are just angry
- 24:30Speaker 9: at everybody about it. But because Republicans are in the
- 24:33Speaker 9: majority in Congress and they have the White House, you know,
- 24:37Speaker 9: the buck stops with them. And a lot of people
- 24:40Speaker 9: are saying, look, I don't care who's to blame, just
- 24:42Speaker 9: fix it. And I'm kind of in that camp because, honestly,
- 24:46Speaker 9: I have so many friends and relatives who have been Wait,
- 24:49Speaker 9: can you imagine going to the airport four hours early,
- 24:52Speaker 9: as the son of a friend of mine did on
- 24:54Speaker 9: the weekend and almost missing your flight. I mean, the
- 24:58Speaker 9: stress level of all that wasn't traveling with little babies
- 25:02Speaker 9: and old people. I mean, imagine if you're trying to
- 25:04Speaker 9: get a family through TSA and you have to wait
- 25:07Speaker 9: for three hours. I mean, honestly, our legislators even thinking
- 25:11Speaker 9: about these people or putting themselves in their shoes. Well,
- 25:14Speaker 9: no they're not because guess what, they get escorted through security.
- 25:19Speaker 9: That's a custom in almost every airport. And look, I
- 25:22Speaker 9: understand why maybe it's necessary for security reasons, but you know,
- 25:26Speaker 9: I'll tell you right now. If you were a representative
- 25:28Speaker 9: of mine and I was in a four hour line
- 25:31Speaker 9: and I saw you whisking through the airport, I would
- 25:34Speaker 9: not be happy.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, they say that's why Congress did not leave
- 25:37Speaker 2: Washington this weekend. They didn't want to be seen being
- 25:40Speaker 2: wisked through. So, but why is government so allergic to
- 25:44Speaker 2: the private sector. You know, you could bring in private
- 25:47Speaker 2: Some airports use private security and they have no problem. Yeah,
- 25:49Speaker 2: Elon Musk is offered to pay all the TSA workers.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Why not cooperate with the private sector more?
- 25:55Speaker 9: Well, it's a good question. In fact, there are airports,
- 25:59Speaker 9: isn't it. Or oddly enough, some West Coast airport that
- 26:03Speaker 9: is maybe San Francisco run private security, and it is
- 26:07Speaker 9: very successful. They don't have this problem, of course, But
- 26:10Speaker 9: in general, my understanding is it's very successful. Why wouldn't
- 26:15Speaker 9: that be an appealing alternative. Why don't we shift over
- 26:18Speaker 9: to privately funded, privately run tsa everywhere in the country
- 26:23Speaker 9: Because these are government employees. Democrats love government employees, which
- 26:29Speaker 9: is why they were hysterical when Elon Musk's doge effort
- 26:34Speaker 9: began to cut the ranks of government employment, and they
- 26:39Speaker 9: vote Democratic almost always. Now, after this problem, maybe they
- 26:43Speaker 9: won't be so eager to do that, But generally speaking,
- 26:46Speaker 9: it is a very incestuous system where Democrats vote ever
- 26:51Speaker 9: bigger benefits and paychecks for government employees unions and the
- 26:56Speaker 9: union's vote for Democrats. I mean, it's really a pretty
- 26:59Speaker 9: horrible system, which is why I remember FDR said public
- 27:04Speaker 9: employees should never be unionized, and I think he was
- 27:06Speaker 9: totally right.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, Liz peak when it comes to Iran, I'm
- 27:10Speaker 2: watching a CNN or MSNBC and they put on somebody
- 27:13Speaker 2: like Senator Mark Kelly who's yelling and screaming the president
- 27:17Speaker 2: has no plan, there's no plan, there's no goal. There's
- 27:19Speaker 2: no objective. It's a little irresponsible to claim. I'm sure
- 27:22Speaker 2: there's a lot of planning and if you can't figure
- 27:24Speaker 2: out what our goal is in Iran, there's really something
- 27:26Speaker 2: wrong with you, isn't there.
- 27:28Speaker 9: Yeah, I think this is really offensive. It's just whatever
- 27:32Speaker 9: Donald Trump does must be wrong in the eyes of Democrats.
- 27:36Speaker 9: But for people like Mark Kelly, who has a pretty
- 27:40Speaker 9: solid understanding of what the military world is like, to
- 27:43Speaker 9: assume that you would go into this conflict, which by
- 27:47Speaker 9: the way, has been extraordinarily successful in a very short
- 27:52Speaker 9: period of time in degrading the enemy's military response and
- 27:58Speaker 9: pretend that we don't know what we're doing. Ay, that's
- 28:00Speaker 9: incredibly bad for Morales A shame for him, Shame on
- 28:03Speaker 9: him be he must know better. But see, he is
- 28:07Speaker 9: just wildly antagonistic to this administration because they called him
- 28:13Speaker 9: out on a number of occasions for making utterances, including
- 28:17Speaker 9: the one where they told he basically told our military
- 28:21Speaker 9: people men and women not to obey in order if
- 28:25Speaker 9: you don't believe it's it's legitimate, and that is like
- 28:29Speaker 9: inciting rebellion in our armed forces. I mean, what is he?
- 28:33Speaker 9: Who is he to make that comment? And what does
- 28:37Speaker 9: he think the ramifications of it would be it was
- 28:39Speaker 9: incredibly irresponsible. So he you know, the administration has sought
- 28:46Speaker 9: legal action against him, They want to demote him, strip
- 28:49Speaker 9: him of his rank, et cetera. And I think they
- 28:52Speaker 9: were right. I thought that was a pretty horrible thing
- 28:54Speaker 9: he did. But he's an angry man and he's kind
- 28:57Speaker 9: of laying it all out there and being as offensive
- 29:00Speaker 9: as he possibly can. But to your point, yeah, Marquis,
- 29:02Speaker 9: it's really bad acting.
- 29:04Speaker 2: In my view speak speaking of offensive, this mayor and
- 29:07Speaker 2: his wife. The mayor is going to prison to pray
- 29:10Speaker 2: with the prisoners who all murdered people. The wife is
- 29:14Speaker 2: illustrating the most anti semitic stuff in the world. Are
- 29:17Speaker 2: we going to get through these four years?
- 29:18Speaker 9: Okay, really good question. Let's just hope it's not eight.
- 29:23Speaker 9: Let's hope we do somehow rally the forces of opposition
- 29:27Speaker 9: and get rid of this guy after four years. My
- 29:30Speaker 9: view is, Mom, Donnie is an extraordinary politician in the
- 29:34Speaker 9: sense that he has done absolutely nothing to broaden his
- 29:37Speaker 9: base to appeal to voters who did not support him
- 29:42Speaker 9: in the mayoral election. I think he was selected accidentally.
- 29:46Speaker 9: He's one of these accidental wins where you went up
- 29:49Speaker 9: against a truly hideously unpopular former governor Andrew cmo who
- 29:55Speaker 9: people really didn't like, and you had a sort of
- 29:59Speaker 9: cardboard out forgive me Curtis Leewah Republican candidate that no
- 30:03Speaker 9: one took very seriously. So Mamdani had a clear lane.
- 30:07Speaker 9: He became mayor, and he is rubbing our noses in
- 30:12Speaker 9: everything that we find offensive. And I gotta tell you, yes,
- 30:16Speaker 9: going to the prison to pray with people of Muslim
- 30:20Speaker 9: faith instead of ever paying any slight attention to or
- 30:25Speaker 9: showing concern for the victims of crimes that these people
- 30:29Speaker 9: have committed. Honestly, Mark, how insane is that? It certainly
- 30:34Speaker 9: can't be popular unless you're a complete hair brain, fire
- 30:38Speaker 9: on hair liberal. This just doesn't make any sense. So
- 30:42Speaker 9: shame on him, But shame on voters for letting this happen.
- 30:45Speaker 9: Shame on the Jewish community for not realizing what was
- 30:49Speaker 9: about to happen to their people in New York, whom
- 30:53Speaker 9: this guy has no regard for whatsoever. I think it's
- 30:57Speaker 9: absolutely hideous. And again, let's just make sure is not
- 31:00Speaker 9: eight years.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Yeah, well, we love Curtis, but if Andrew Cuomo, you're right.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Had stayed out of this, who knows things might have
- 31:06Speaker 2: been to Can you imagine a guy getting run out
- 31:08Speaker 2: of office, quits and scandal leaves in disgrace, with the
- 31:12Speaker 2: police chasing them out of all.
- 31:14Speaker 9: I mean, honestly, and this is the guy we're going
- 31:16Speaker 9: to make a mayor of New York here. You know,
- 31:19Speaker 9: it's a real insight. Democrats have no options, right, I mean,
- 31:24Speaker 9: most Republicans come from the business world or they have
- 31:27Speaker 9: something to go back to. Democrats have nothing. They are
- 31:30Speaker 9: not able to run a restaurant or build a you know,
- 31:34Speaker 9: a cement planted or you name it. I mean, honestly,
- 31:37Speaker 9: show me five Democrats who have left office and done
- 31:40Speaker 9: anything but run for some other office. That's all they
- 31:44Speaker 9: can think of. It's really it is a it's like
- 31:46Speaker 9: a life sinecure to be on the public dole. And
- 31:51Speaker 9: I don't mean welfare, but I mean the taxpayer dole.
- 31:55Speaker 9: And that's and that is kind of their default option.
- 31:59Speaker 9: Count on or be a commentator at CNBC or MSNBC.
- 32:05Speaker 9: That's also possible.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well, very good point, Liz Peak, brilliant as always.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Everybody a reader columns foxnews dot Com. You can go
- 32:12Speaker 2: to the Hill, watch her on television, and make sure
- 32:15Speaker 2: you go to lizpeak dot com. It's a great news
- 32:17Speaker 2: site and sign up put your email in there. You'll

- 32:25Speaker 2: thanks for being with us.
- 32:27Speaker 9: Thank you so much for having me. Have a great day,
- 32:29Speaker 9: and stay out of the airports.
- 32:30Speaker 2: I will take care. Hey, no, forget thanks, don't forget
- 32:34Speaker 2: Buck and Clay Noon today. Buck's got a great new
- 32:37Speaker 2: book out, big bestseller. Already should get his book. It
- 32:40Speaker 2: is absolutely fascinating book. It's called Oh wait, I got
- 32:46Speaker 2: it right here. I always forget titles of books, but
- 32:48Speaker 2: it's a manufacturing delusion. Great book by Buck Sex. And
- 32:52Speaker 2: you can hear them today at noon on seven to
- 32:54Speaker 2: ten wr Mar.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Simone, he's on seven ten.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Wo Hey, well, we got a lot to get to
- 33:02Speaker 2: in the next hour. Right after the news, we'll get
- 33:05Speaker 2: back to mom Dommy, We'll get to we'll get to
- 33:08Speaker 2: Robert Muller and the President's comments and a whole lot more.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly will be with us. Don't go away another hour,
- 33:13Speaker 2: Togo I'm here every day ten to noon, or get
- 33:16Speaker 2: the podcast. You can listen to anytime. Back after the
- 33:18Speaker 2: news seven two.
- 33:21Speaker 12: You're listening to the Mark Simone show.
- 33:24Speaker 2: On well, Hey, LaGuardia open one runway clothes but otherwise open.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I'm getting emails from all kinds of people who have
- 33:38Speaker 2: been through the airport. Some had nightmare four five hour
- 33:42Speaker 2: delays and some sailed right through. With the TSA pre check.
- 33:47Speaker 2: You know you can get that TSA pre check. It's
- 33:49Speaker 2: a little bit of work, but once you got that,
- 33:51Speaker 2: it makes life easier. I would imagine because of what's
- 33:53Speaker 2: going on now, everybody is thinking of getting that TSA
- 33:57Speaker 2: pre check. There's a couple of those serviss but I
- 34:02Speaker 2: would imagine their phones are ringing off the hook right
- 34:04Speaker 2: now as we speak. Hey, a lot of flack. President
- 34:08Speaker 2: Trump got over his tweet, his truth social post about
- 34:15Speaker 2: Robert Muller. Muller dies and Trump tweets out, Robert Muller
- 34:21Speaker 2: has died. Good glad he's dead. Now he can't hurt
- 34:25Speaker 2: any more innocent people. Now. They quoted Trump all over
- 34:28Speaker 2: the fake news by saying that he said Robert Muller's dead.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Good glad he's dead. They leave out the next part
- 34:36Speaker 2: where you said, now he won't be able to hurt
- 34:38Speaker 2: more innocent people. And of course, if you're a Robert
- 34:43Speaker 2: Muller and you're the guy that tried to get Trump
- 34:45Speaker 2: and you tried to wipe out Trump and you were
- 34:47Speaker 2: the guy pushing the Russian collusion, well, of course, if
- 34:50Speaker 2: you're fake news, you love this guy. If you're a
- 34:52Speaker 2: media democrat Trump hater, you love this guy. So they
- 34:56Speaker 2: did these endless pieces about how dare Trump say he
- 35:00Speaker 2: was a war hero with a purple heart, with a
- 35:02Speaker 2: bronze star, a true public servant, a war hero. But
- 35:06Speaker 2: the truth of the matter is as distinguished as he
- 35:10Speaker 2: was in the first half of his life, and he
- 35:13Speaker 2: was a war hero. He went to Princeton and volunteered,
- 35:17Speaker 2: volunteered to go to war in Vietnam. Pretty good, and
- 35:21Speaker 2: he was a war hero. And he got a purple heart,
- 35:24Speaker 2: a couple of them, in a bronze star. But that
- 35:27Speaker 2: doesn't mean you can't become a bad guy later in
- 35:30Speaker 2: your life. We've had people who've gotten purple hearts and
- 35:32Speaker 2: bronze stars and went on to be murderers. It's happened, criminals.
- 35:36Speaker 2: It happens. The fact that you are a great war hero,
- 35:39Speaker 2: it's wonderful, but it doesn't give you a get out
- 35:42Speaker 2: of jail free card for the rest of your life.
- 35:44Speaker 2: And the fact is, in the last couple decades of
- 35:47Speaker 2: Muller's life, he became a bad guy, a really bad
- 35:50Speaker 2: guy in the last ten years of his life with
- 35:52Speaker 2: that Russian hoax, which he knew was a hoax, and
- 35:56Speaker 2: he brought into his group some of the most evil, corrupt, dirty,
- 36:03Speaker 2: dirty partisan prosecutors. You know, those Andrew Weisman type of
- 36:06Speaker 2: guys who have a history of just going after people,
- 36:10Speaker 2: smearing them, framing them, whatever they have to do. There's
- 36:14Speaker 2: a lot of those kind of guys in Muller, and
- 36:16Speaker 2: he's smarter than that. He let those people into his committee,
- 36:20Speaker 2: into his commission, and he had them running the investigation,
- 36:23Speaker 2: he had them preparing the report. And if he looked
- 36:26Speaker 2: at the final report, there was absolutely no Russian collusion.
- 36:31Speaker 2: And a bad guy would do it. Muller, a good
- 36:34Speaker 2: guy would say, would actually have said, you know, we
- 36:37Speaker 2: looked into this, there's nothing there. It's not true. Instead
- 36:40Speaker 2: of saying that, he said, well, we found no actionable evidence,
- 36:44Speaker 2: we found no legal ground. I mean, he just he's
- 36:47Speaker 2: a bad guy at the end, a really bad guy.
- 36:50Speaker 2: He not only should have told the truth, which is
- 36:53Speaker 2: we found nothing. In fact, there was no Russian collusion
- 36:56Speaker 2: of any kind. There was absolutely nothing between Trump and
- 36:59Speaker 2: Russian have said it, and he should have come out
- 37:03Speaker 2: and said, we investigated this, and it looks like the
- 37:05Speaker 2: Hillary Clinton campaign was behind this, and it was maybe
- 37:09Speaker 2: the dirtiest trick ever. It was just total dirty trick
- 37:12Speaker 2: corruption from the Hillary Clinton campaign that launched this fake
- 37:17Speaker 2: Russia store. He should have said all that he didn't.
- 37:19Speaker 2: The fact that he didn't means he just ruined his legacy. Now,
- 37:24Speaker 2: maybe Donald Trump should have explained it as I just
- 37:26Speaker 2: explained it, instead of just saying good glad he's dead.
- 37:28Speaker 2: But that's not the Trump style. That's not the Trump style.
- 37:32Speaker 2: So hey, we just heard on the news President Trump
- 37:36Speaker 2: trying to stop a lot of these windmills. The problem
- 37:38Speaker 2: is it sounds good, you know. It's a typical Democratic
- 37:42Speaker 2: politician kind of thing, wind power, wind mills. It's feel
- 37:45Speaker 2: good stuff. It sounds like getting rid of the evil
- 37:48Speaker 2: fossil fuel and just the windmills will give us power.
- 37:52Speaker 2: It sounds great. It doesn't work at all. Not only
- 37:56Speaker 2: doesn't it work, it drives up your electric costs by
- 37:59Speaker 2: like three times. A great example is Europe. Much of
- 38:04Speaker 2: Europe went to wind power Germany and other countries for
- 38:08Speaker 2: about a year, and then they had to tear down
- 38:10Speaker 2: all the windmills because they found it doesn't work. There's
- 38:13Speaker 2: not enough energy coming from the costs are preposterous. There's
- 38:16Speaker 2: plenty of times of the year where there's no wind
- 38:18Speaker 2: in the North Atlantic and they had to tear down
- 38:21Speaker 2: all the windmills. So it's not like anybody didn't give
- 38:24Speaker 2: it a chance. It's really been tried and tested all
- 38:26Speaker 2: over the world. Wind power doesn't work. You could use
- 38:31Speaker 2: it on one little house or something with a little wind,
- 38:33Speaker 2: it doesn't work. And not only that, it's the most
- 38:37Speaker 2: expensive energy in the world. If your electric bills one
- 38:40Speaker 2: hundred dollars with wind power, it's four hundred dollars. You
- 38:43Speaker 2: just can't use it. So you got to get rid
- 38:45Speaker 2: of all these windmills. Not to mention, and here's the
- 38:47Speaker 2: other part of it, it does absolutely nothing to help
- 38:51Speaker 2: with the climate problem. It does absolutely nothing to help
- 38:55Speaker 2: the environment. In fact, the windmills themselves are massive of
- 39:00Speaker 2: environmental nightmare. You have to tear up the ground underneath
- 39:06Speaker 2: to put in a windmill. For like a mile in
- 39:08Speaker 2: every direction. You got to tear up the ground, poor
- 39:10Speaker 2: concrete just to hold that windmill, totally ruining the land
- 39:14Speaker 2: it's on. Those blades are enormous. You know, one blade
- 39:18Speaker 2: is the size of the Washington Monument. Do you know
- 39:21Speaker 2: what it takes to get rid of those blades? You
- 39:24Speaker 2: have to change them every year, so you'd have millions
- 39:26Speaker 2: of blades you'd have to dispose of. And it's the
- 39:30Speaker 2: most awful environmental nightmare getting rid of these big fiberglass blades.
- 39:36Speaker 2: So they're just awful. They don't produce enough electricity. The
- 39:39Speaker 2: cost of electricity is like four hundred percent more, so
- 39:42Speaker 2: you got to get rid of it. You know, the
- 39:43Speaker 2: Democrats are always the ones yelling about gasoline prices that
- 39:47Speaker 2: look what the president's doing to your pocketbook. Look what
- 39:50Speaker 2: he's doing to your budget with the gasoline prices. Meantime,
- 39:53Speaker 2: everything they do raises your electric bill about four hundred percent.
- 39:58Speaker 2: When they shut down Indian thanks to Andrew CMO, shut
- 40:01Speaker 2: down the nuclear plants, or put in all these green
- 40:05Speaker 2: scheme regulations, it doubles, triples, quadruples the cost of your
- 40:10Speaker 2: electric bill. And if you say, he says, you know,
- 40:12Speaker 2: my electric bill used to be like one hundred and
- 40:14Speaker 2: twenty dollars. How come it's three hundred and eighty now.
- 40:16Speaker 2: That's because of all the crazy climate change regulations, all
- 40:20Speaker 2: the green scheme regulations that have been put in. That's
- 40:24Speaker 2: why it got to be so much. Hey, that crazy
- 40:27Speaker 2: mayor mom Donnie and that looney wife of his. Just nobody,
- 40:34Speaker 2: nobody ever really took a hard look at that wife
- 40:37Speaker 2: before voting for him. As bad as he is, she
- 40:40Speaker 2: appears to be completely nuts, running around with every anti
- 40:43Speaker 2: Semitic thing she can run around with. She also has
- 40:47Speaker 2: been she works as a professional illustrator, but she's been
- 40:50Speaker 2: doing it for the most awful anti Semitic, anti Israel
- 40:54Speaker 2: evil sort of organizations. Just terrible. You're stuck with these
- 40:59Speaker 2: two for another to so I was gonna say three
- 41:02Speaker 2: and a half years. It's more than that. It's like
- 41:03Speaker 2: three and three quarters of a year. But you'll get
- 41:06Speaker 2: through it. You know this incredible activity in New York
- 41:10Speaker 2: City right now, apartments are being sold like crazy at
- 41:13Speaker 2: the high end that the low contracts being signed or
- 41:16Speaker 2: at record numbers. You can't rent an apartment right now.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Rentals are through the roof. There's almost no inventory left.
- 41:22Speaker 2: People are moving in like crazy, and skyscrapers, massive skyscrapers
- 41:27Speaker 2: are being built. Look at fifty second in Park there's
- 41:30Speaker 2: like a eighty story skyscraper going up there. Fifty eighth
- 41:33Speaker 2: in Madison there's like a ninety story skyscraper going up there.
- 41:37Speaker 2: There's another one going up forty fourth in Madison where
- 41:39Speaker 2: the old Brooks Brothers is huge skyscraper. They're all over
- 41:43Speaker 2: the city, downtown, the village. There's construction like crazy, building
- 41:48Speaker 2: these massive skyscrapers. And if you talk to these real
- 41:51Speaker 2: estate guys, these you know, the big big real estate companies. Wait,
- 41:56Speaker 2: aren't you worried about Mom Donnie? What's going to happen
- 41:57Speaker 2: in New York? And they always say, you know, he's
- 42:00Speaker 2: just a blip on the raider. He's just a little
- 42:02Speaker 2: blip in time. He'll be gone soon. You know, when
- 42:05Speaker 2: you do a skyscraper, it's five six years of construction,
- 42:09Speaker 2: usually five six years of planning it, maybe more. It's
- 42:11Speaker 2: a ten to fifteen year project. They don't worry about
- 42:13Speaker 2: Mom Downey. So you got to think like that, it's
- 42:15Speaker 2: just a blip, It's just a little blip. Don't worry
- 42:18Speaker 2: about it. Hey, you know, Charlie Kirk had a mentor.
- 42:22Speaker 2: His name was Jeff Webb, very very wealthy guy from Texas,
- 42:26Speaker 2: Texas businessman. He mentored a lot of people and he
- 42:29Speaker 2: found a young Charlie Cook, a Charlie Kirk at the
- 42:32Speaker 2: age of twenty four, and he thought he was looking
- 42:35Speaker 2: at a future president, and he helped get him started,
- 42:38Speaker 2: helped guide him. Real visionary. His name was Jeff Webb.
- 42:41Speaker 2: He died. It was terrible that he died, but I'm
- 42:45Speaker 2: looking at why he died. This is awful. He died
- 42:48Speaker 2: in a pickleball accident. Hell do you die in a
- 42:51Speaker 2: pickleball accident? But it happens some head injury. They don't
- 42:57Speaker 2: really reveal what happened, serious head injury. He was in
- 42:59Speaker 2: the hostel but only died. How many people you know
- 43:03Speaker 2: died playing pickleball? But it can't happen. There's another guy
- 43:08Speaker 2: that died. This guy is Ukrainian Leo or a Davinsky.
- 43:12Speaker 2: He was worth four billion, very private guy. He's the
- 43:16Speaker 2: guy that started Only Fans you know that OnlyFans porn site.
- 43:21Speaker 2: He actually bought it. It was already in existence, but
- 43:23Speaker 2: it wasn't anything, wasn't much anything. He bought it and
- 43:26Speaker 2: built it into this multi billion dollar business, one of
- 43:29Speaker 2: the biggest websites in the world. Only Fans where anybody
- 43:33Speaker 2: can do porn. You open up, it's kind of like
- 43:36Speaker 2: Twitter or sub stack or Instagram whatever. You create your
- 43:41Speaker 2: own site, you do your own videos, you post it
- 43:43Speaker 2: all and then you post a little previews and if
- 43:46Speaker 2: people want to get the real thing, they got to
- 43:49Speaker 2: get a subscription to you. And you make a lot
- 43:52Speaker 2: of money. And there's a lot of hot, hot looking
- 43:54Speaker 2: young women. I guess older ones too, but it's mostly
- 43:57Speaker 2: young women on there to become Only Fans stars. Now
- 44:02Speaker 2: they're total amateurs. They do their own videos, but they
- 44:06Speaker 2: make a fortune. Here's one woman in her twenties and yeah,
- 44:12Speaker 2: she's actually only twenty one. She'd only be doing this
- 44:14Speaker 2: for a few years. But she's really good looking. So
- 44:18Speaker 2: she was a waitress. She was struggling to pay the rent,
- 44:21Speaker 2: she couldn't pay her bills. She got on Only Fans
- 44:25Speaker 2: and really took off. She became one of the most
- 44:27Speaker 2: popular on there in the first two years. Now, hold
- 44:32Speaker 2: on to something. In the first two years she made
- 44:36Speaker 2: ninety five million dollars on Only Only Fans. Now you
- 44:42Speaker 2: might be saying, well, who'd want to go on there
- 44:43Speaker 2: and take the clothes off and do porn? And well,
- 44:47Speaker 2: in the first two years she made ninety five million
- 44:49Speaker 2: dollars and she put out a really touching statement to
- 44:55Speaker 2: this owner who he died. The owner of this thing
- 44:57Speaker 2: just died. She said, he changed my life. I have
- 45:00Speaker 2: nothing but gratitude for him. He built something that made
- 45:04Speaker 2: me a millionaire. I was struggling. He was, so it's
- 45:08Speaker 2: going to continue. He actually tried to sell the site
- 45:12Speaker 2: not long ago. I guess he knew he was pretty sick.
- 45:14Speaker 2: He had cancer for a long time, but he tried
- 45:16Speaker 2: to I think his price was too I tried to
- 45:18Speaker 2: sell it for eight billion. It's more like two billion,
- 45:21Speaker 2: three billion. But very reclusive guy who's only forty three,
- 45:25Speaker 2: lived in Miami. Other news, Bill Cosby. There was another
- 45:32Speaker 2: one of these victims suing him civil trials, civil court,
- 45:35Speaker 2: and she won and the court ordered Bill Cosby to
- 45:40Speaker 2: pay nineteen million dollars in damages to her. Cosby now
- 45:44Speaker 2: saying he has no money, that he's totally broke. Member
- 45:46Speaker 2: he was in prison, and there were other lawsuits like
- 45:50Speaker 2: this that he settled and he paid out millions hard
- 45:52Speaker 2: to believe, isn't it. Out of all the celebrities ever
- 45:56Speaker 2: thought would have a problem like this Bill Cosby. And
- 45:59Speaker 2: you remember when he came along, he was such a gentle,
- 46:03Speaker 2: kind of thoughtful, sort of clean cut sort of a guy.
- 46:07Speaker 2: And then as you watched his career develop and you
- 46:09Speaker 2: found out he used to be a like a basketball
- 46:12Speaker 2: coach or a foot And then you found out he
- 46:14Speaker 2: wanted to be a teacher. And remember he went back
- 46:15Speaker 2: to school. Even as the biggest star in the world,
- 46:18Speaker 2: he went back to school in Massachusetts, got his doctorate
- 46:21Speaker 2: of education, was teaching. What a wonderful man. Then you
- 46:25Speaker 2: find out about this stuff. Never would have never in
- 46:29Speaker 2: a million years with you thought, that's the celebrities gonna
- 46:31Speaker 2: end up in prison, end up having to to settle
- 46:36Speaker 2: these kind of lawsuits. Hey, you know those espresso martinis.
- 46:41Speaker 2: It's the worst thing you can have. By the way,
- 46:44Speaker 2: it's late at night. The martini's not that healthy for
- 46:46Speaker 2: you to begin with. Now you're putting the espresso into it.
- 46:49Speaker 2: That's like three cups of coffee. Sometimes people have two
- 46:52Speaker 2: of them. That's a lot of caffeine, that's a lot
- 46:54Speaker 2: of alcohol. It's the worst thing you can have so
- 46:56Speaker 2: and they're expensive someplace. Someplaces charge your fortune for And
- 47:00Speaker 2: by the way, be careful where you have your espresso martini. Now,
- 47:04Speaker 2: if it's a really fine place, they have an espresso
- 47:06Speaker 2: machine and they make fresh and put it in the martini.
- 47:10Speaker 2: But if it's a lot of other places and bars,
- 47:13Speaker 2: it's a martini and they just take yesterday's coffee and
- 47:16Speaker 2: throw it in there. So be careful where you order it.
- 47:18Speaker 2: But here's the Benjamin Steakhouse in Manhattan. It's very good
- 47:22Speaker 2: at Benjamin Steakhouse, Midtown, Manhattan. So they've rolled out the
- 47:28Speaker 2: it's the ultra decadent Hot Coco Martini, the Hot Coco cocktail.
- 47:35Speaker 2: It's a thousand dollars a glass, one thousand dollars got
- 47:40Speaker 2: Now it sounds crazy who they would pay a thousand dollars,
- 47:42Speaker 2: But it's going viral. It's all over Instagram. They'll have
- 47:45Speaker 2: a longer line for this than Laguardi Airport does. Right now.
- 47:48Speaker 2: It's got Versailles valure or something in it. It's got
- 47:53Speaker 2: gold leaf on top. It's got Mozart dark chocolate liqueur.
- 47:58Speaker 2: It's got all kinds of names I can't pronounced. It's
- 48:00Speaker 2: steamed milk and orange bitters, delicately heated Grand Monnier, Quintessence
- 48:05Speaker 2: and Hennessy Richard Kognak and I don't know what the
- 48:08Speaker 2: hell all of this is. You know what, Just order
- 48:12Speaker 2: a beer, save yourself a lot of trouble. Anyway, we'll
- 48:14Speaker 2: take some calls. Next eight hundred three to two one
- 48:18Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three to
- 48:21Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. R to hear Mark live?
- 48:25Speaker 1: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime. Now
- 48:29Speaker 1: back to Mark Simone on wor.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Randall in Maryland. Randall,
- 48:36Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 48:38Speaker 11: Hello?
- 48:39Speaker 7: Mark's service by by warning them about that stupid drink espression,
- 48:45Speaker 7: Mark killing the public is by pet p terrible to drink.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's one thousand dollars, but people will line
- 48:52Speaker 2: up for anything. Let's go to Ernie and Grantwich. Ernie,
- 48:55Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 48:57Speaker 13: Yeah, it's a pleasure to talk to you. Mark. I
- 49:00Speaker 13: actually met you. I was the gentleman who opened up
- 49:02Speaker 13: the door for you with Paulpo.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Do you work there?
- 49:07Speaker 5: No?
- 49:08Speaker 2: Oh, you were the guy coming out with your wife.
- 49:09Speaker 2: I remember you. Paulpo's a great restaurant. Poulpo and Greenwich, Connecticut,
- 49:14Speaker 2: Ron Rose of the owner. That's right. I was there
- 49:16Speaker 2: Friday night and you opened the door.
- 49:19Speaker 13: Yeah, I was actually sitting right next to you. But
- 49:22Speaker 13: it's the second time I met you. And you're so
- 49:25Speaker 13: personal on the radio, so knowledgeable, but you always seen that.
- 49:29Speaker 13: The first time I met you was a Prime about
- 49:31Speaker 13: a year ago.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Prime in Stanford. That's another great place.
- 49:34Speaker 13: Whenever I meet you, you you just look at me
- 49:37Speaker 13: like you think I'm going to mug you.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Yeah, you have that look about you. You definitely look
- 49:41Speaker 2: like a shady Carriac. No, you're a nice guy.
- 49:44Speaker 13: But anyway, love your show, great work, continue to do it.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Thank you, all right? Thanks? Yeah, no, it depends. You know,
- 49:50Speaker 2: he's a nice guy. But some people, you can see,
- 49:52Speaker 2: they want to start a twenty minute conversation about Iran
- 49:55Speaker 2: or something. They're talking about Trump or something that you
- 49:57Speaker 2: just you know, you don't want to get involved in that.
- 49:59Speaker 2: So let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike. How you doing,
- 50:03Speaker 2: good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 50:05Speaker 12: So let's get this straight.
- 50:07Speaker 13: Now.
- 50:08Speaker 7: Liberals and Democrats love a guy.
- 50:09Speaker 14: Who volunteered to go to Vietnam and was the head
- 50:12Speaker 14: of the FBI.
- 50:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well Muller, remember he was the guy that
- 50:18Speaker 2: was going to put the final nail in the Trump coffin.
- 50:20Speaker 13: He was going to get exactly yes, and he volunteered
- 50:24Speaker 13: to go to Tanam.
- 50:25Speaker 12: So we're just saying, yeah, you.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Know, I mean, it's great that you're serving the military.
- 50:31Speaker 2: But the guys that volunteered to go are all kind
- 50:33Speaker 2: of weird. Got you know, John Kerry, Robert Muller, and
- 50:36Speaker 2: they kind of look alike, don't they. Yeah, absolutely the same.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Herman Monster kind of looked to them.
- 50:42Speaker 13: But they scared the Vietnamese away from our monsters.
- 50:48Speaker 7: They sent those two guys.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks for thanks for calling. But listen, Muller, great
- 50:54Speaker 2: distinguished service. However, the last decade or so of his
- 50:58Speaker 2: life just a terrible, terrible guy, a dirty swamp guy.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Let's go to Joe in Elmwood Park. Joe, how you doing, Good.
- 51:06Speaker 15: Morning, Mark? How you doing good morning?
- 51:07Speaker 7: Vincent?
- 51:08Speaker 11: You hit it fun.
- 51:09Speaker 15: You have to lump Phil Murphy in the same thing
- 51:11Speaker 15: because he did the same thing to us in Jersey.
- 51:13Speaker 15: And now all in three months are electric utility bills
- 51:16Speaker 15: are tripled.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, how dare these Democrats complain about Trump
- 51:21Speaker 2: raising the oil prices. They raised your electric bills by
- 51:24Speaker 2: four hundred percent, just like that.
- 51:25Speaker 15: Now we got Governor lamb chomp. Yeah, that's why we
- 51:29Speaker 15: wanted Jack Chibarelli.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he got. I think it's enough with
- 51:34Speaker 2: that Jack Chitarelly. How many times have you guys run
- 51:37Speaker 2: Jack Chittarelli. Know the voters have spoken on Jack Chittarelly.
- 51:43Speaker 15: Now on the lighter side, Mark, didn't you get your
- 51:45Speaker 15: start on WNWAM.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Well, I was no. I had been in radio long
- 51:50Speaker 2: before that, but I was on WNEW for many years,
- 51:52Speaker 2: but ten years, eleven years. And remember Steve Allen I
- 51:55Speaker 2: used to do a daily show together there.
- 51:57Speaker 10: Oh okay?
- 51:58Speaker 15: And and who was your mentor, like the Dan Ingram or.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Oh no, mentor? Well, definitely Dan Ingram, but a mentor
- 52:04Speaker 2: list would be like one hundred names. There were hundreds
- 52:07Speaker 2: and hundreds. I was very lucky. I got to work
- 52:08Speaker 2: with the greatest ever and when it was DJ's I
- 52:12Speaker 2: got to work with Dan Ingram and cousin Brucey and
- 52:14Speaker 2: all those guys and WNEW. Remember they had legends. I
- 52:18Speaker 2: mean these guys were institutions there, William B. Williams and
- 52:21Speaker 2: Ted Brown and Jonathan Schwartz and all those And then
- 52:24Speaker 2: when I first started doing talk radio, I work with
- 52:26Speaker 2: Barry Gray and Bob Grant and Barry Farber, and I
- 52:29Speaker 2: mean these were legends. Let's go to rich in New Jersey.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Rich how you doing.
- 52:34Speaker 14: Good morning, Mark. You're fantastic. I love your show. Just
- 52:37Speaker 14: two things real quick, if I may. First, if you're
- 52:39Speaker 14: going to get the espresso Martin or any espresso, get
- 52:43Speaker 14: the Becass espresso. There's a little bit of caffeine in it,
- 52:46Speaker 14: but it won't send you through the roof. Also, second thing,
- 52:50Speaker 14: I know your friends with Curtis and Port Larry's got
- 52:52Speaker 14: to be over there banging his head because Curtis has
- 52:55Speaker 14: a degree of Trump arrangement.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Well that's okay, I guess that's okay. I mean, that's it.
- 53:02Speaker 2: I think that's the idea. I remember we used to
- 53:03Speaker 2: have Michael Riedal and the other guy there that was
- 53:06Speaker 2: that was the idea of little debate back and forth.
- 53:09Speaker 14: Do you think Curtis is as liberal as as Lehn?
- 53:12Speaker 9: No?
- 53:12Speaker 2: No, no, no, no.
- 53:14Speaker 14: Alan Polmes, he's a little out there.
- 53:17Speaker 10: No.
- 53:19Speaker 2: I wouldn't say Curtis is liberal. It's kind of like me.
- 53:21Speaker 2: He's liberal. On some things, conservative on others. But he
- 53:25Speaker 2: doesn't like Trump.
- 53:26Speaker 14: He definitely has Trump arrangements, definitely anything that Trump does.
- 53:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think he has Trump de arrangements in
- 53:32Speaker 2: I think he just never liked him from the beginning. Listen,
- 53:34Speaker 2: there are people that just don't like him. But yeah,
- 53:37Speaker 2: and we love Donald Trump.
- 53:38Speaker 14: You don't like you, so don't worry about it.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Now. We all love Trump. We love what he does,
- 53:42Speaker 2: but you love them. Yeah, but you can see how
- 53:45Speaker 2: he can rub some people the wrong way.
- 53:47Speaker 14: Well, listen, he's I think Trump operates at a level
- 53:52Speaker 14: intelligence wise that a lot of people don't get. Like
- 53:55Speaker 14: this whole ts a thing, complete genius. Probably want him
- 53:59Speaker 14: at the air for in the first place, but he
- 54:01Speaker 14: knew the Democrats would go fucko. Now he's got him there.
- 54:04Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, well thanks for calling. Yeah, that's the
- 54:06Speaker 2: other thing about Trump. It seems harsh at times. Why
- 54:09Speaker 2: do you have to say that, Oh my god, why
- 54:11Speaker 2: did he do that? Why does he talk like it? Well,
- 54:14Speaker 2: you got a good point there. He's a genius. He
- 54:16Speaker 2: literally is a genius. He's brilliant. He's it really is
- 54:20Speaker 2: like fourth dimensional chess. And he's forty seven hundred moves
- 54:22Speaker 2: ahead of everybody. So as crazy as it sounds as
- 54:28Speaker 2: you check their record, as crazy as it sounds to
- 54:30Speaker 2: do this, to do that, in the end, it always
- 54:32Speaker 2: turns out he was right. Now, he's got a very
- 54:35Speaker 2: abrasive manner about doing it. But as the great Robert Morgenthal,
- 54:40Speaker 2: one of the greatest leaders ever in history, used to say,
- 54:44Speaker 2: because we all kind of knew each other, Trump and
- 54:47Speaker 2: him and every and people would grumble about Trump and
- 54:49Speaker 2: Morganheal would always say, when it comes to Donald, watch
- 54:52Speaker 2: what he does, and don't listen to what he says.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Just watch what he does. He'll get it done in
- 54:56Speaker 2: the end. Hey, when we come back, Bill O'Reilly will
- 54:59Speaker 2: be with us next next lots to talk to him
- 55:01Speaker 2: about on seven to ten woor the Mark the Own Show.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Well Bill O'Reilly, that number one TV anchor for decades,
- 55:12Speaker 2: the number one best selling author on Earth, nonfiction author
- 55:16Speaker 2: on Earth. Get his latest book, Confronting Evil. Hey, also
- 55:19Speaker 2: check out his YouTube channel, great stuff there and make
- 55:22Speaker 2: sure you watch this new podcast called We'll Do It Live,
- 55:25Speaker 2: especially the latest with Lindsay gram It's fascinating. Well we'll
- 55:28Speaker 2: talk about it in a second of course the TV show.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Everything's at Bill O'Reilly dot com, Billoreilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly.
- 55:35Speaker 2: How you doing, man and job?
- 55:38Speaker 12: How about you?
- 55:39Speaker 2: I'm good? Hey. The most interesting I watched was your
- 55:42Speaker 2: your new podcast it We'll Do It Live, the latest
- 55:45Speaker 2: one with Lindsey Graham. That was the best explanation of
- 55:48Speaker 2: the Iran war I have ever heard.
- 55:51Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 55:52Speaker 12: It's an old fashioned interview, you don't get many of
- 55:56Speaker 12: them anymore. Where I went in and very surgically, and
- 56:01Speaker 12: we started with the word imminence because that's what the
- 56:06Speaker 12: Trump administration is saying to justify the action, that Iran
- 56:12Speaker 12: had an imminent threat with the uranium they hold, and
- 56:19Speaker 12: I thought that Sanator Graham defined it pretty well. Now
- 56:24Speaker 12: you can always not believe him if you don't want to,
- 56:28Speaker 12: and that's what people have a tendency to do. We
- 56:30Speaker 12: did identify him as a hawk. He is, but he
- 56:36Speaker 12: was very convincing to me. And he certainly knows because
- 56:40Speaker 12: he gets the intel just like President Trump, and he
- 56:44Speaker 12: speaks to Trump a couple of times a day. So
- 56:49Speaker 12: if there's ever a guy who knows what the nuke
- 56:52Speaker 12: situation is inside Iran, it's Lindsey Graham.
- 56:56Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody's gonna go watch this. It's Bill o'relli's new podcast.
- 56:59Speaker 2: We'll do it live, the Lindsey Graham one. But he explains,
- 57:04Speaker 2: if you're going to use the nuclear material for some
- 57:07Speaker 2: energy or commercial purposes, it's twenty percent, but when you
- 57:10Speaker 2: get it to where they have it's sixty percent. You're
- 57:13Speaker 2: heading towards.
- 57:13Speaker 12: Yeah, And the real kicker on it is that the
- 57:16Speaker 12: Trump administration, in its negotiations before the action, said to Iran,
- 57:23Speaker 12: we'll pay for your nuclear ambitions to power up your country,
- 57:33Speaker 12: so we'll make it happen for you. But Iran basically said, no,
- 57:39Speaker 12: We're going to do what we want to do, and
- 57:41Speaker 12: that's developed a nuclear weapon. So what more does anybody need?
- 57:45Speaker 12: Because if you have a rogue regime like that, a
- 57:50Speaker 12: theocracy that answers to no one, and they have a
- 57:55Speaker 12: nuclear weapon, they can hand that weapon off on a
- 58:00Speaker 12: low level situation and kill a hundreds of thousands of people.
- 58:04Speaker 12: But apparently half of the United States doesn't believe that
- 58:09Speaker 12: or doesn't want to believe it. Yeah, And to me,
- 58:13Speaker 12: it's like, Okay, you don't believe history, you don't believe evil,
- 58:18Speaker 12: you don't believe nukes. What do you believe? And I'll
- 58:22Speaker 12: tell you what they believe. Trump is the evil one
- 58:26Speaker 12: that's driving all of the descent.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Now, they did this with Bush. They hated Bush. Fact,
- 58:32Speaker 2: that's where the term came from. Bush derangement syndrome. But
- 58:37Speaker 2: he was a very formal politician. Trump just rattles their
- 58:40Speaker 2: cage at every turn. So is that all it is?
- 58:42Speaker 2: He just cranks it up like a thousand notches.
- 58:45Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 58:45Speaker 12: They don't want to hear any kind of positive analysis
- 58:50Speaker 12: of Donald Trump ever, and so whatever Donald Trump's involved
- 58:55Speaker 12: with is wrong, and the media pushes that out on
- 59:01Speaker 12: a daily basis. So Americans who don't pay attention, which
- 59:04Speaker 12: about half of us. We live in bubbles, We don't
- 59:08Speaker 12: pay attention to the news. They don't really care what
- 59:10Speaker 12: happens other than what happens to ourselves. So they pick
- 59:16Speaker 12: up the anti Trump sentiment and then they form whatever
- 59:21Speaker 12: opinion they're going to form it. They don't know what
- 59:25Speaker 12: Iran is. They can't find it on a map. They
- 59:27Speaker 12: don't know what theocrisy is. They don't know the details
- 59:32Speaker 12: that Lindsay Graham put out. You know, when you interview
- 59:35Speaker 12: a guy for an hour, which is what the long form,
- 59:40Speaker 12: We'll do what live? Does you know? He has to
- 59:44Speaker 12: have it together or I'm going to destroy him, you
- 59:48Speaker 12: know that. Yeah, and he falters or he doesn't have it,
- 59:52Speaker 12: I'm going to go in, I don't care who you
- 59:54Speaker 12: are and say, well, it doesn't stack, it doesn't make
- 59:58Speaker 12: any sense. But gray and was very well organized in
- 1:00:01Speaker 12: a thought process. And I believe them.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: No, you did it perfectly. You were the tough cross
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: examiner and everybody should go watch it. It's We'll do
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: it Live. Bill o' rilly's latest podcast, Watch the one
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: with Lindsey Graham. Hey, and the other thing I love
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: about this podcast it's on a It looks like a
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: TV show on a set, which is great. Everybody does
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: these podcasts now. They're in a sweater, they're in their basement,
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: they're in a garage. I don't like that stuff. I
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: like it the way you did it.
- 1:00:27Speaker 12: Yeah again, traditional, old school, respectful. There'll be times when
- 1:00:33Speaker 12: I don't wear a tie, but I'm not going to
- 1:00:34Speaker 12: look like a bomb and smoke pot during the podcast. Okay,
- 1:00:39Speaker 12: it's not going to do it. I'm not going to have,
- 1:00:42Speaker 12: you know, a shot of vodka in between questions. So
- 1:00:47Speaker 12: I don't care what other people do. I've been in
- 1:00:49Speaker 12: this business more than fifty years, a big successful on
- 1:00:52Speaker 12: every single thing we've ever done, because I understand what
- 1:00:56Speaker 12: the American audience want in its pursuit of journalism, and
- 1:01:03Speaker 12: they want honesty and they want authenticity, which is why
- 1:01:07Speaker 12: you're successful. And that's what I provide.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: Hey, explain this to me as the media expert, because
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: all these consultants, you know, we tell you, well every
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: these quick short form, quick quick, How come everybody now
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: wants to hear these long interview these long podcasts? What
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: is that all about?
- 1:01:23Speaker 12: I don't know. I mean answer an excellent question because
- 1:01:26Speaker 12: I didn't want to do this my younger staff when
- 1:01:31Speaker 12: I say younger under thirty five, but oh, you got
- 1:01:34Speaker 12: to do this. You got to get in the game.
- 1:01:36Speaker 12: And because we were doing four nights of a hard
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: news broadcast, we're doing three nights now and the know
- 1:01:43Speaker 12: it's been news and one night of the long form.
- 1:01:46Speaker 12: And I finally surrendered. I said, all right, we'll give
- 1:01:49Speaker 12: it a shot. And we've done two of them and
- 1:01:52Speaker 12: they've been fabulous successful, millions of people, and we're dropping
- 1:01:57Speaker 12: a third on Thursday, which is I'm going to alternate
- 1:02:03Speaker 12: back and forth. So we got Steve Sharripa on Thursday. Yeah,
- 1:02:09Speaker 12: and it's very interesting, particularly for New Yorkers, because Sharippa
- 1:02:13Speaker 12: is a Brooklyn guy who never wanted to be an actor,
- 1:02:18Speaker 12: he never wanted to be famous, and it was almost
- 1:02:21Speaker 12: thrust upon him. Fascinating story. And he's a good guy.
- 1:02:27Speaker 12: I know him personally, so he will drop Sharripa on Thursday.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Oh, that's gonna be great, That's gonna be excellent. So, yeah,
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: he was he was the entertainment director of the Riviera
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: Hotel in Las.
- 1:02:38Speaker 12: Vegas, That's right. And before that he was a bouncer
- 1:02:42Speaker 12: in Vegas. But he's a genuinely good guy and an
- 1:02:47Speaker 12: honest guy. And I get into a lot of the
- 1:02:51Speaker 12: subtleties of both the Sopranos and Blue Bloods because you
- 1:02:56Speaker 12: had two classic guys in there, Gandolfini the lead in
- 1:03:02Speaker 12: Sopranos and Sellek, the Blue Bloods guy, and they were
- 1:03:09Speaker 12: opposite guys, but they did control the venues they were
- 1:03:13Speaker 12: in and the way in Sharrippa was in boat Programs
- 1:03:18Speaker 12: and really describes it very very astutely, how these guys
- 1:03:24Speaker 12: make it to the top and the pressure on them
- 1:03:27Speaker 12: to stay there.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Wow, sounds fascinating. Well you can watch this. This will
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: be the latest podcast. It'll come out Thursday, and make
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: sure you go watch the Lindsey Graham one. It's the
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: best explanation of why we're in Iran. The just go
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: to you just go to a YouTube right and watch
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: it there.
- 1:03:43Speaker 12: Yeah, it's easy. Is Bill O'Reilly dot com. Because we
- 1:03:46Speaker 12: just have big thing. Just pop it with your finger
- 1:03:48Speaker 12: and then it appears it's free. You know, all of
- 1:03:52Speaker 12: the podcast stuff is free. But it is a phenomenon
- 1:03:56Speaker 12: in America that people now had the patient. I mean
- 1:04:00Speaker 12: this nut in Texas Rogan.
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: Yeah, three three hours.
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: Well how can you.
- 1:04:08Speaker 12: Sit there for that?
- 1:04:10Speaker 10: You know?
- 1:04:11Speaker 12: And now is my limit? I need I need a
- 1:04:14Speaker 12: milkshake after that.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: Well, everybody, just go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. You
