- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: We're talking, uh, uh, Carter?
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Carter?
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh no, he's gone.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_02]: That's right, it's two chunks, and it's just the two of us.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: We can make it if we try.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_02]: Just the two of us, Dosh, and I, I'm Jordan, here with two chunks and a hunk.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_03]: I'm Dosh, uh, today's punchline is a millipede.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's a thinker, so you gotta, you gotta try it.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_03]: You gotta really engage.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_02]: Lock in, a millipede.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_02]: I've got the basic punchline, or I've got the basic set up, but I'm trying to determine two different routes to get to the same joke, essentially.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: But I think I'm gonna go with, I think I'm gonna go with, how do you measure Stuart Little's urine sample?
- 1:30[SPEAKER_03]: a millipede, a millipede, a peed milla.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_03]: What lies on its back, a thousand feet in the air?
- 1:39[SPEAKER_03]: A millipede.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I get it.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_03]: It's good.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_03]: It's a kind of a thinker.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_02]: It was kind of a thinker.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of actual.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's more of a riddle than a joke.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_03]: I actually liked it.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was good.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_03]: The last time we did one of these just the two of us episodes, I'm actually going to pull it out because I have a date for it.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_03]: We've done this one time before.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_03]: Was it a fast and furious episode?
- 2:00[SPEAKER_03]: I don't remember, you know, the only thing I remember about the last time we did the two, just the two of it, we said never again is that we hated this, we don't do this ever again.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_03]: We were in the same room, we were at my kitchen table and we did touch feet underneath the table.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I do remember this.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_03]: And it was horrible.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_03]: So it's already better now.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's about experience.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like it was randomly a fast and furious that Carter couldn't like make it to the recording of or something and we had to do.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: Just you and me talking about a fast and furious movie.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: That was a long time ago.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_03]: Ooh.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_03]: It was a long time ago.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully we're better at podcasting now.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_02]: Doubt it.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to go with Doubt it.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_02]: Look, we've got a couple of fun things planned for this episode.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_02]: This first episode without our sweet, beautiful boy Carter.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_02]: He's taken a fatherly break for a little while.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_02]: But we do have a couple of...
- 2:50[SPEAKER_02]: fun little tidbits for you.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: And I think Doge has something to kick us off.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: Nothing more fun than a game where it's just me.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_03]: He loves it, too.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_03]: It was Ant-Man in the Wasp, by the way.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, interesting.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_03]: It was Ant-Man in the Wasp and the Fast and Furious of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_03]: July 10, 2018.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_03]: So we're looking at about, wow, seven years.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_03]: Right, eight, seven years, no.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_03]: We're eight years better at podcasting than we used to be.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_03]: We're growing up.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_03]: That's crazy.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_03]: So this one's going to be a great one.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be a great episode.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_03]: But the reason it is just the two of us is that Carter has recently grown his family with the help of his wife.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, Carter didn't do this all on his own.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_03]: But Carter, she's just kind of welcomed, welcomed a beautiful baby into their lives.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_03]: And
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's not too late to change the name.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_03]: And I just want to say that right now, Carter, your baby does not know the name you have selected yet.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_03]: It's only been just a few weeks.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_03]: And so if you want to speak English, and so maybe don't speak honestly anything, maybe only barely.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we don't know that.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_03]: We're just guessing.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_03]: That's true.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_03]: That's true.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_03]: Baby may have come out fluent in Mandarin.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_03]: Who knows?
- 4:03[SPEAKER_03]: That would be very helpful.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_03]: I think this big wide world.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_03]: But today, our friends at theTop10s.com have pulled a list for me.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_03]: I texted them over the weekend and said, hey, I need you help with this special project.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_03]: And so they have returned to me.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_03]: The Top 10 most underused baby names of today's generation.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_03]: Oh.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_03]: And so I'm hoping that Jordan can kind of find a couple of them.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_03]: It's like play and mind sweeper.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_03]: You're not really sure the rules, but you don't want to click on the mind.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so Jordan you got three strikes here.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_03]: Let's let's come up with some alternate suggestions and then we'll we'll clip this into the harder.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_03]: Most underused baby names.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_03]: If you're looking for something in a name you're baby that will not confuse your child with other children.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_03]: Ernest.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_03]: Ernest.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_03]: Ernest.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_03]: That's a strike.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_03]: That's a strike.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_03]: That's used frequently
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: Evelyn's a good guy, Evelyn's a great name.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_03]: I know like four baby Evelyn.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_02]: Do you really?
- 5:04[SPEAKER_02]: I don't hang around on a ton of babies if I'm being honest with you.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_03]: I met your neighbor the other day.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_03]: Your neighbor hasn't Evelyn.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_03]: That's a really good point.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_03]: You want to stick with that?
- 5:15[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I feel now like I shouldn't.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'm not trying to put a thumb on this scale.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just saying like consult your lived experience.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'm back clearance.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_03]: Clarence.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_03]: parents like when something like costs one thing and then it goes on a deep discorrect.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, about this on clearance.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's a strike.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's a sort of felt like there's no clearance baby names here.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_03]: Man, good thing Carter had the baby not you.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: See, because I'm trying to figure out what these names name names name names like I would say like Robert stopped I don't mean you don't need a ton of baby Bobby's anymore, but like that's a real name Bobby, I'm not guessing, but I'm just saying like you don't need a ton of you don't need a ton of Robert's anymore.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_02]: So is this list leaning more towards like I haven't seen a little Robert running around in a while or is this list more like my grand papy was named, you know, first name Stevenson, you know, like are we are we going with that?
- 6:14[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_03]: My grandfather was a boy marideth.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_03]: Right, um, yeah.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, it's, it's hard because those are kind of the same thing.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_03]: I don't have this kind of Robert running around.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_03]: My grandpa was Robert.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, these are distinctly, I mean, their names that have fallen out of fashion.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: But I've heard with these names, it's not like it's gonna be like crazy to them or something like that.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_03]: There's no name on here that you have not heard.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, that's okay.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, hey, okay.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_03]: I will take that back.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_03]: Number 23 is Sparkle.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_03]: Nobody names their kids Sparkle anymore.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: What is it?
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_02]: Because I feel like they stopped doing Jennifer's.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like they stopped pumping out Jennifer's after a while.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like is it that?
- 7:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: Early 90's.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: There was there was not many after that.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_02]: Not getting into the new Blake's.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like we sort of put the cabash on Blake's.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, interesting.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's one that I feel like is.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I guess that's true.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, this is my baby Blake, right?
- 7:18[SPEAKER_03]: That feels weird, right?
- 7:19[SPEAKER_03]: Tillens are still around.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_03]: We're still doing tillens, I think.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_03]: Not as much.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's more of a middle name.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'll go with my middle name, Blake Tillens.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_03]: Show me Patrick.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_03]: Give me a little Rick.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_03]: A little pat, baby, Ricky, baby, Ricky.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_03]: Baby Rick, not on the list.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_03]: That's three strikes now, you know, row.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_03]: Man, and I love it.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_03]: I could tell you really engage with this game.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_03]: I tried.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_03]: Great time playing.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_03]: I thought of real names.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_03]: Number 10, Neveya, the girl's name Neveya means a blessing to others, caring where the and charming that was popular for like 18 months in 2007.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: Well, no baby's born today or name Neveya, I guess that's true.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: I have a second cousin I think whose middle name is Neveya.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_03]: Navea, see?
- 8:09[SPEAKER_03]: Number nine, Ringo.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_03]: The boy's name Ringo means artistic musical, a healthy apple, and having a special ring.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_03]: What was the last one?
- 8:20[SPEAKER_03]: A healthy apple.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_03]: Got it.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure if it's not clear.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_03]: Keep a push it.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_03]: Number eight, Ophelia.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_03]: If your name is child Ophelia, she will become annoying.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not kidding.
- 8:33[UNKNOWN]: Great.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_03]: I was just about to say I actually liked that name.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_03]: That's a good name.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_03]: Number seven, Atticus.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_03]: As we kill him on the board of Atticus.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_03]: Finch number six, Agatha.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't mind that.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_02]: Number five, I want to high school with a magnifying.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: Number five is Robbie.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_03]: The boys name Robert means intelligent, smiley and well-liked.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_02]: Sure, man.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_03]: And then the second comment says, I have a friend named Bobby Ubit.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_02]: I love people who aren't good at confrontation, getting confrontational, how dare you.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_02]: That's so good.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_03]: Good then.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_03]: Number four, Lisa.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_03]: You don't see many baby laces.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_03]: Really?
- 9:21[SPEAKER_02]: Don't see a lot of young Lisa's.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_03]: This is my baby Lisa.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_03]: That means satisfactory and lovable.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_03]: Number three.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: I love popularity right now.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_02]: Lisa's got to come back.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_03]: Come on.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_03]: Come on.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_03]: Away in a manger.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_03]: It's Lisa.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_03]: Number three, Calvin.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_03]: The underused boy's name of Calvin means friendly.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_03]: Playful and delightful.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_03]: Number two, George.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_03]: And number one, Mary.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_03]: I think I could have gotten to George and Mary with a couple more guesses.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_03]: I think you could have gotten to George and Mary.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_03]: The most bummer of all of it is that you did get to Robert.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you knocked yourself out of it.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Bobby was sort of an in-and-out situation up there on the old room.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: That's a huge bummer.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: We tried our best.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_03]: Huge bummer.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_03]: We tried our best.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_03]: We tried our best, Carter.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_03]: I guess, Carter, you're gonna have to stick with a name you picked.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_02]: Little baby Bobby, little baby Bobby, little baby Bobby, little s-subobbies, maybe sparkle willus.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_02]: See, I feel like that's what you have to think of, too, with a baby name is like, if you give your kid the name, Bobby, everybody's gonna go,
- 10:17[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's Leopold is a good one.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_02]: Leopold will us.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's not too late.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_02]: Leop, yeah.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of what I thought the list was going to be more like.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: Was a bunch of like Leopold's.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: Neveo was the the most like off the beaten path of that.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: How about Oprah?
- 10:36[SPEAKER_02]: Don't know what ton of those.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_03]: You don't see, I don't see many people.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_02]: Don't know what ton of those.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_02]: This is my child.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: This boy Oprah, like boy George.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: This is Oprah, Oprah, oh, yeah, no, that's not bad.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_02]: I want to play a new game that I've come up, something for Doge and I to speak in of circling the drain, something for Doge and I to kind of try and figure out and work shop here so that it's ready to go by the time Carter comes back.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: Really, this is more like prep work.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_02]: Get all the hard stuff out of the way before Carter returns us.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's a game that I'm calling wheel, oh, movies, and here's it does not
- 11:14[SPEAKER_03]: So we can workshop the name or movie.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_02]: I just thought random number generator of movies felt a little are we can, is there something like are in, are in genima, it's like, are in G cinema, we'll get there.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: So here's basically what I've got in, are in Gs this name.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_02]: Are in G, are in, are in Gs this name, are in Gs this name, are movie.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: We could do,
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: We can do it like this.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's helpful if you have the same two tabs pulled up as me.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_02]: Which is I just have on Google just number generator and I have the minimum set to one in the maximum set to 250.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_02]: And then I have on a second tab that I am to be top 250 movies.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: So here's what I think we can do here.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: we'll go back and forth and we will select a random number through the random number generator.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_02]: Scroll to that film and then you and I have to figure out what movie the other person has landed on.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_02]: Mostly if we can by trying to figure out what the other person thinks you me and Carter would think like have the opinions we would have about the movie.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: So I can go first just as an example.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: I got number, is it helpful to say what number?
- 12:28[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's a good place to like, yeah.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so I have 107 and let me tell you something, we've already hit our first bump in the road, but let's give it a try, because there's no point in not.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: I would be, I'll start with this.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe this is a good way to start it.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_02]: We can say who of the three of us we think has even seen the movie in the first place.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I think probably none of us.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_02]: good.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, so we haven't done it on the podcast.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: No, we definitely have not done it on the podcast.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: I would say if any of us have seen it, I for sure have not.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_02]: I would be surprised if you had.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's maybe a chance Carter watched it like with his dad, but I don't even know if his dad would be into this.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_03]: Is it?
- 13:20[SPEAKER_03]: And this is essentially 20 questions, right?
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, you're no good.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: And we're sort of building the game as we go.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: So if we think that it's helpful to say, like, this is the number it is on the list, this is the year it came out.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: You know, those kinds of whatever, I think that's helpful.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_03]: Is this movie over 50 years old?
- 13:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_03]: So we're looking at pre-star wars.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_03]: People didn't know what a Jedi or a lightsaber was.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_03]: Never even heard of it, and now you're here to see this.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, is this a Western?
- 13:48[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I said it confidently and now I'm nervous that I'm wrong.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_03]: No, correct.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_03]: I was there a cowboy hat on the poster.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_03]: That's a easy way to tell.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: No cowboy hat on the poster.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: Is this movie in color?
- 14:07[SPEAKER_03]: It looks like it.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: I actually think there's an element of this movie that I forgot that I think maybe Carter would be the only one who has seen it.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: Is this a James Bond movie?
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_03]: Is this like a historical epic?
- 14:37[SPEAKER_03]: I think, no, I'm thinking like you're been her.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, it's not you're, okay, okay, is this movie set at the time that it came out?
- 14:46[SPEAKER_03]: I believe so, yeah.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_03]: Would I know any of the actors in this movie?
- 15:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_03]: at least by name, a bunch of, a bunch of George's and Mary's.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_03]: Right, yeah.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: At least by name, you would for sure.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: You would definitely know, I want to be a little more helpful here as we're building this because this is a movie that would never come to my mind.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's not a movie I think about often, so it's not like, it is certainly a classic though.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'll say that.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's just not one that would like spring to mind for me, but you would for sure know, at least by name,
- 15:33[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but you absolutely know the director and you've heard of this move like this is not like a nothing movie I just I don't know if we've seen any actor.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if any of us have seen it See I was thinking it was bush Cassidy and the Sundance kid before you said I would know the director Yeah, also kind of Western though, huh?
- 15:55[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, kind of modern Western vibes
- 16:00[SPEAKER_03]: know the director, what directors do I know that we're operating?
- 16:03[SPEAKER_03]: Is this like a Hitchcock movie?
- 16:04[SPEAKER_03]: Albert Hitchcock is.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_03]: I know two of those.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_03]: I know about Psycho and I know about the birds.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, that makes me happy.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad to know I don't think you've seen this because I was guessing.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so here's what I think is good.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_02]: I like the 20 question format.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that what's helpful is this.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think all three of us would like this movie if we watched it today.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: I think that I would like it the least of the three of us.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that Carter would like it the most of the three of us.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's not usually the position Carter finds himself correct, but I think I would stand pretty firm on that.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_02]: And honestly, again, part of the struggle with this is on this 250 list.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to be movies that it's like, I just won't even think of that movie.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_03]: So we're not looking at psycho, we're not looking at the bird.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_03]: Not psycho, not the birds.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_03]: Crazy, because there's the only two movies that Hitchcock knew how to make it.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, famously two and done.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_03]: He did.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_03]: The only two ones that he did, famously two.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_02]: I actually, I think I might have already said this.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know this was a Hitchcock movie until just now.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_02]: So there's that.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: Is this movie from the 60s?
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: Is it more recent than that?
- 17:34[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_03]: 1959, I thought I think it'll help.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_03]: 8.3 out of 10, I believe it or not, it doesn't help, it doesn't help.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_03]: Well, back then, I mean, that was like a year salary.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, if you could buy a car for that back then, that's basically like a 100 now.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_03]: It's true, out of 10.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_03]: Man, I'm stumped.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_03]: That's okay.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_03]: I would know the lead actor.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_03]: I would know the main, the main
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: No shame in this game, baby.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_02]: I would not be able to get here.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'm out.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's okay.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's okay.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_02]: The inaugural round of Wheel of Movies, not a Wheel.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_02]: North by Northwest did not know that was a Hitchcock film.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: OK. Have you seen it?
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: At times the Wheel wins.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't seen it.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like there's a chance Carter has.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_03]: That feels like something he would have tell us is really good.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_03]: And we should be.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_03]: He's a Hitchcock guy.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I think that's a man.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_03]: So sometimes the wheel crushes us all.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_03]: It keeps turning.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's how two 50s interesting because it's got a nice mix of like the dark night and also, you know, been hurt and everything in between.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_03]: Um, what number was that?
- 18:57[SPEAKER_03]: That was 107.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_03]: Good and close out of that tab for me because I've just generated a number for you.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see if you have more success against this wheel.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_03]: Number 134.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_03]: Ooh.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_03]: Same ball parkish.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: So we're down, we're down in the deep.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_02]: This is sort of an oops all games episode is what I'm realizing.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_02]: We're sort of workshop games.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: Oops all games here.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, I can guarantee you that you've never seen this because I've never heard of it.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: Oh no, okay, I think maybe if we land on something that we've never even heard of, it's worth skipping because otherwise it's just gonna respen.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna regenerate.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: Because at least I knew we had both heard of North by Northwest, but yeah.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_03]: Looking at it now, maybe.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_03]: One, 93.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, yeah.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, you've seen this.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, certainly.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, have we seen this?
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: Have we done this for the podcast?
- 19:51[SPEAKER_02]: We have not done this for the podcast.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: Have you, do you think Carter is seeing it and have you seen it?
- 19:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, we have all seen this.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_03]: We have not seen this together as a unit for the podcast.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_03]: I'm making an assumption here.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure you have seen it.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: It seems like a safe bet that I've seen this.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_02]: Is this movie from the last, does this movie come out in the 2000s?
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: Like, said it's the year 2000.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_02]: Has it come out in the last 15 years?
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: OK, so this is an early 2000s flick.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: Does it have anything to do with, is it a sci-fi film?
- 20:37[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, okay, not a sign of how I film early 2000s.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to steer you of the wrong directions.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, you're barely missing that 15-year cut off, too.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_03]: Like we're close.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_03]: Got it.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_02]: We would have been, you and I would have been in high school, Carter would have been graduated with his master's already.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think his baby was just born when this came out.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and we were still in high school.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_02]: Um, let me see.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think, what do you think the general takes on this movie would be from in three of us?
- 21:08[SPEAKER_03]: I think we would not put it in our personal 250.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_03]: In our personal even 250.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_03]: It might be in our personal 250.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_03]: I could tell you that it's a 8.1 out of 10.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_03]: I think you in particular would give it a 1 out of 10.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_03]: Is it biographical?
- 21:23[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: Is it?
- 21:29[SPEAKER_02]: I would assume if I'm not particularly interested, it's probably not a comedy,
- 21:38[SPEAKER_02]: particularly fantastical.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_02]: So my guess is it's is this movie like a fairly like grounded realistic flick?
- 21:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_03]: Is it political in nature?
- 21:54[SPEAKER_03]: In the way that all art is political.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_03]: Interesting.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_02]: So is is this movie?
- 22:00[SPEAKER_02]: Is it a period piece like is it is it?
- 22:03[SPEAKER_02]: Let me your phrase was this movie set during the time that it came out?
- 22:08[SPEAKER_02]: This movie is set the year that it released.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, big names are attached.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_02]: Big name, single big name attached to the movie.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_02]: it's fairly grounded for some reason all I could think of was eagle eye for just a minute something about that time period, but there's no would chance eagle eyes in the top 250 on IMDB.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_02]: There's no world.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_02]: That's so funny.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_03]: I forgot about that move.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_03]: Terrible, but you know, shyness there.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, is the one name that I would know is this person God forbid?
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: Is this person a gentleman?
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: Is it somebody we are a fan of as a group?
- 22:51[SPEAKER_03]: Actually, don't really know this gentleman's deal.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_03]: Currently, in the state of the world.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_03]: Are they relevant in any way today?
- 22:58[SPEAKER_02]: I assume not based on that.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: And there goes our time.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_02]: I think, OK. Is there a song that comes to mind when you think of this movie?
- 23:14[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_02]: OK.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, um, is this the kind of movie that would have been on TV and my dad would have watched.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_03]: So how I how I'm confident that we would probably not rated an 8.1 out of 10.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_03]: On IMDB.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think our dads who'd rated in 11 out of 10.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_03]: Does this movie involve Mark Wahlberg?
- 23:39[SPEAKER_03]: No, dad's love Mark Wahlberg.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_03]: Dad's love Mark.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_03]: Dad's love Mark Wahlberg.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_03]: So is this, I'm going to tell you this, this gentleman that's in the movie, Dad's love.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_03]: Dad's love this guy.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_03]: I love him.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_02]: So I was thinking Mark Wahlberg because I was thinking, it's along the lines of how Mark Wahlberg got in real into making movies about like the Boston bombing and just like oil rigs and stuff.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: Is it kind of a disc category where it's like, this is a movie about stuff that happened.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_03]: Um, not really, it's entirely fictional.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: Entirely fictional.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_03]: Fairly grounded.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_03]: Dad's love this guy.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_03]: Dad's love this guy, dad's love this movie.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_03]: If you can get the guy, you can get the movie.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, that's good to know.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: Dad's love this guy.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: Was he like, past his prime when he made this movie?
- 24:28[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_02]: This isn't a Steven Segal joint, is it?
- 24:32[SPEAKER_03]: It's not even to go.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_03]: This gentleman was hot off the heels of a pretty viral Super Bowl commercial.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_03]: When this movie released, a pretty viral Super Bowl commercial.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_03]: Like one of the earliest commercials that I remember seeing discourse about online.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_03]: Why?
- 24:50[SPEAKER_03]: Start this individual.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_03]: And then it was either right before or right after this movie came out.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to get too caught up in that because it's not coming to mind immediately an action star.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_02]: This guy's an action star.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: From most popular maybe in the 90s?
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_02]: 80s.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_02]: Is this Clint Eastwood?
- 25:15[SPEAKER_02]: Is this a Clint Eastwood joint?
- 25:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_03]: Is this Grant Torino?
- 25:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_03]: We got a Super Bowl commercial where he was like, it's half time America.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_03]: That one where he was like, we got to get our shit together America.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_03]: It's half time.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_03]: We got to go out there in the third quarter and show him who we are.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, what a goober.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: I have seen this movie for sure.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I didn't love it.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I watched it when it came out.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yeah, 2008, it's like sure.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_03]: I'll watch it.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_03]: It's a movie and it's in the theater.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't love it.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: Can't imagine it would hold up very well.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think you would love it.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_03]: I know for a fact our dad's would.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's dad's due love crantarina.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's sort of a given for sure.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I think as we had to shout out since here's what I'm thinking, the future of Wheel of Movies parentheses, not a wheel needs lifelines.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: like who wants to be a millionaire.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_02]: I think would be very helpful.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think if we leave the lifelines, I think there's a default at the start.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_02]: Here's what I think each of us would or do think about this film.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_02]: We need like three more lifelines that we can pull from to help us start getting in the right direction.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think that I think it's got legs.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_02]: I think so too.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_02]: I like it.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's a good game.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's got legs.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_02]: Because the top 250 much like top fours
- 26:45[SPEAKER_03]: Would you believe in Clint Eastwood's top four?
- 26:47[SPEAKER_03]: There is not a single, not a single Western, not a single, like, good bad the ugly man with no name.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I feel like you really started to get for the, like, Gran Turino, what's the one with the train?
- 27:00[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that kind of thing.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_03]: Gran Turino, a million dollar baby, Gran Turino, unforgiving and space cowboys.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_03]: Interesting.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_03]: Cut a guess, I could have guessed two of those.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, coulda guess two of those.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: Wild, maybe not the others.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: Interesting.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well let's head to shout announcements where we'll tell you all about, I don't know, stuff.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_03]: Just stick around.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna be good.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_03]: I promise, you gotta listen.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_02]: Or.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: I was a, yet a pull start though.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that was great.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_03]: It's been in the garage for actually getting to get those, get those blades been in up, take it out for that first spin in the year.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_02]: I was in Nashville, Tennessee, until this morning, actually.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_02]: And one thing about Nashville, the city from, it's crazy made the city from the song, wagon wheel into a real city.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_03]: Isn't that nuts?
- 28:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I can't believe it.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_03]: I was hanging out with, I actually think that's Johnson City, Tennessee.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: I was hanging out with Morgan.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: Wallen, we're just throwing chairs.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_02]: I, the things say in fun words.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they both were so much of being enemies with Hayley Williams first.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I want to be very clear that I'm on the other team in that fight.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_02]: Hayley all day, team chairs.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_02]: One thing I noticed a lot in Nashville is there are so many houses with
- 28:32[SPEAKER_02]: that the yards are big enough that it would actually be like a stopping point for me in the purchase of the home.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like, to my, I can't move that.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_03]: That's a full time job to keep that on mode.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_03]: It's a lot of work.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, Jordan, we're never gonna have to worry about that if people don't share the podcast with people they love.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_03]: It's a really good point.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_03]: We're never gonna make enough money to have to worry about our yard being too big, which I realize sounds now like I'm telling you not to share the podcast.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_03]: Don't.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_03]: And save us from a fate where it's not.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_03]: But let's try that reverse psychology.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_03]: Don't.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_03]: Don't.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_03]: Come on.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_03]: Stop.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_02]: What are you doing?
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: Put your phone away.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: Don't share this podcast with a friend.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_03]: And don't.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_03]: Don't rate it while your phone's open.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, don't stop.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_03]: What would be great is if you could also follow us on Spotify.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_03]: I know a lot of you kids today, you're into your Spotify's over your Apple Podcasts through your overcast.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_03]: That's fine too, we're on there as well.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_03]: Go ahead and hit that follow button and drop us some stars over on Spotify.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_02]: Those count too.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_02]: It's true.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they do take those into account.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_02]: And while your phone's out, what's one more thing?
- 29:36[SPEAKER_02]: Honestly, just one more thing.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_02]: Just one more thing.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_03]: Good, let's one more thing.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_03]: Get on, get on discord through our Patreon.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, give us a lumbar money, just a little money.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_03]: And then you could not enough to get a yard and nationally, certainly not.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: This is more like enough to get with us.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_02]: We could buy a leaf.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_02]: I could get a decent coffee if a couple of you do it.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_02]: If a couple of you just go ahead and get on Patreon so that you can get access to a discord, I could get a decent group of friends did this.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_03]: Then the three of us could each get a pour over.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_03]: We could friends did this for us.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_03]: Now we're huge for me personally.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so sleepy.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_02]: We'd love that, caffeine.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I pretty much am always looking for my next, my next caffeine fix.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_03]: It's not, and listen, while your phone's open, what's one more thing?
- 30:30[SPEAKER_03]: What's one more thing?
- 30:31[SPEAKER_03]: Check out Imagine Dungeons.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_03]: Imagine Dungeons are actual play Dungeons and Dragons podcast with new episodes every other Wednesday.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_03]: And in stark contrast to our Nashville yard fund that we require you to pay into to join our two chunks in a hunk discord, the Imagine Dungeons Discord.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's completely free, but if you try and talk about two chunks and I will never, I'm not answering anything.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_03]: No, you're going to pay it and talk to me about it.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_03]: And you're going to be embarrassed.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to be so embarrassed.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_03]: But listen to Imagine Dungeons.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_03]: We've got a new episode coming out tomorrow.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_03]: It is one of the most fun creative projects that we have ever will talk to as a group.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_03]: And we want everybody in the world to listen to it and join us on our adventure.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_03]: So take a listen when that comes out tomorrow.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_03]: Do all the other stuff we told you about on your phones.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_03]: And please don't get us a yard of Nashville.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_03]: No, I'm on a...
- 31:18[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome back, it's time for another Carter tribute.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_02]: This is something very special.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_02]: This is something that not the greatest podcast host in the world is just a tribute.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_02]: And truly, I have a vivid memory of the first time I heard about this game, I was in the back seat of Carter's car on the way to a camp with our fraternity.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_02]: And Carter said, hey, we got a couple hours to kill.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_02]: How about a game?
- 31:46[SPEAKER_02]: If you've known Carter for any length of time at all, that's not a surprise.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_03]: Is this any episodes of this podcast?
- 31:52[SPEAKER_03]: That's not surprising.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_03]: That's not surprising.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_02]: The boy loves game.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_02]: So listen, only very clear.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure if Carter made this game up.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: But I know who showed it to me.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_02]: And that was Carter.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_02]: This is a game that I'm certain we've referenced on the show before.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't think we've ever played in the listen.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: Doge and I have both done a lot of traveling over the last week.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_02]: We know what it's like.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_02]: You're sitting there.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_02]: You're bored out of your mind.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_02]: You've already gone through all of the license plates.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_02]: You've already read all of the billboards.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_02]: You've listened.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_02]: You've watched every technology.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: They're not making it.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_02]: You're done.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_03]: Not up completely.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_02]: You're bored in the car and you need something to do, but here's the thing, the beauty of this game is I have played this game waiting in line for a roller coaster, I have played this game waiting for a movie to start, I have played this game waiting to go get a bagel sandwich pretty much anywhere where you need to kill time and you're with a group of people that you enjoy being around, you can play this game.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: It is called the magic them parade.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's called charade.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's heads up by Ellen to generous.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's called the Magic Thimble, and it is truly a magical game.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: I have had it stolen from me countless times by so many people after I stole it directly out of the hands of Carter and we'll teach you how to play it.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_03]: If you know where this came from, pre-carter, Carter was the introduction pointed to our lives.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_03]: If we try and go ancestry.com, a little farther back in the past, then when Carter introduced this to us, let us know.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_03]: Send us an email, send us a DM on social.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_03]: I would love to know where this game came from.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's a world where we're teaching you like hopscotch right now, as though we just found out about it and everybody's like, yeah, we know this, but I heard a tic tacto crazy, you'll have to sweep the nation, but this game is so much fun, you can play it with two people, you can play it with 20 people, it's so easy and it goes like this, there will be one person.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_02]: who is in charge of the magic thimble.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: Can you see it?
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: Are you picturing it?
- 33:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's as small or as large as you'd like it to be.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: It is as tangible or as ethereal as you'd like it to be.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: It can go anywhere.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: And that person is the wizard.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_02]: And the wizard is in charge of hiding the magic thimble.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_02]: And here's the thing.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: They can hide it anywhere.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: Real fake movie book.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't matter.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_02]: You can hide it in a concept if you'd like.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_02]: And after it's been hidden,
- 34:02[SPEAKER_02]: it is the job of the other participants to ask yes or no questions and discover where the magic symbol has been hidden.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: There are some quirks to the game that are, I would say required.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, I do force people to do it.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_02]: You'll catch on to that pretty quick.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_02]: But for instance, one time, a Carter's favorite example, I think is that it was hidden on the Academy Award, the Oscar that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck won for writing good little hunting.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_02]: That happened
- 34:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that one, that one got me pretty.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_03]: The one that sends out to me, I don't remember who guessed it, but it was a one shot guess that it was in Frodo's butt hole.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_03]: I will say if you play it enough, you're going to find that it goes in butt holes.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_02]: It does, it does kind of, it's like a magnet.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: It does kind of seek out, but it goes in butt holes quite a bit.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_02]: I have a spot, if you're okay with me starting.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_02]: I've got a spot in mind, but let it rip.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: And you'll see, there's, there's some techniques you can learn by listening,
- 35:05[SPEAKER_02]: That's how the wizard says it.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_03]: And you do have to do that.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you have to.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's part of the rules.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_03]: Um, how do you hit the magic thimble somewhere fictional?
- 35:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_03]: How do you hit the magic thimble dear wizard in a world that I have seen in movies?
- 35:33[SPEAKER_03]: Have you hidden the magic thimble in a long running series of movies?
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yes!
- 35:43[SPEAKER_03]: Is the magic thimble in a galaxy far far away?
- 35:45[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_03]: Is the magic thimble though?
- 35:53[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, in the magic thimble.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_03]: Is the magic thimble in the Marvel universe?
- 35:58[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_03]: Is the magic thimble.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_03]: in a universe based on vehicles.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, damn, I was thinking fast and furious.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_03]: It'd be awesome.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_03]: You'd be great.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_03]: Is he going to be that or transformers, if you said that?
- 36:16[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, if it wasn't the fast and furious universe, it would be in the vault, tumbling through the city.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_03]: 100% 100%.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, long running series of movies.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_03]: Not Marvel, not Star Wars, not fast and crazy.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_03]: And it doesn't run as long as any of the, well, maybe transformers as a rule.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, and that's at the wizard's discretion.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_03]: I do want to say, I didn't have to give his right into whatever the want.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_03]: A wizard is neither Hurley nor Lady gets precise to the information he attends.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_03]: It's true.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to clarify.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like sometimes long running MCU is so long.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, man, not quite that bad.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_02]: Right, yep.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_03]: You got one of them Harry Potter's?
- 36:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's not a Harry Potter.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_03]: You got one of them, Lord of the Rings is.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_03]: It's not a Lord of the Rings.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_03]: What does he got in it's pockets?
- 37:11[SPEAKER_03]: Um... You got one of them Batman's.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's not a Batman's.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_02]: He's in a superhero.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_02]: To me.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: But no.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_02]: Long running franchise.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_03]: And the ones I've meant to see does just make a classic mistake here where he's trying to go to narrow too early.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, is this franchise still releasing new installments to this day?
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: I guess yes.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_02]: Let me double check that to make sure.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: But I think I'd.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_01]: It sure is.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: Is this in a James Bond?
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_03]: Is this a franchise that we have covered on our podcast?
- 38:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_03]: Is this a Kingsman?
- 38:21[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_02]: There's only two of those.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_02]: I think, oh no, I guess there is a third, isn't there?
- 38:26[SPEAKER_00]: There's three.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: What if we talked about our podcast that they're filming more of them?
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: You haven't mentioned already.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_02]: See, he's doing it again.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, the goal is you want to start your funnel.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_03]: He's using the hints he's using the hints that I've given him.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_03]: He's using the hints I've given him.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_03]: What does he think?
- 38:43[SPEAKER_03]: And you want to start your funnel wide.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_03]: Does is this franchise fantastical or is it perhaps?
- 38:53[SPEAKER_03]: I'm thinking on the scale of fantastical to ground.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_03]: Sure, is this a fantastical franchise?
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it is.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_03]: I'm thinking, I'm thinking D to your franchise is now.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_03]: I'm thinking your men and blacks, your 21 jump, listen to him.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: Listen to what he's saying, and those of you at home with inner-pricing minds will say, how has he deleted what it may be from his brain?
- 39:26[SPEAKER_02]: How is it possible that he is not tiptoed to the edge and said, could this be the direction to walk?
- 39:34[SPEAKER_03]: Is this franchise animated?
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yes!
- 39:37[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, finally.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_03]: What kind of animated movies have they made a bunch of?
- 39:45[SPEAKER_03]: It's more than Kingston.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_03]: It's less than Harry Potter.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_03]: Is this in a franchise created by Pixar?
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: No!
- 39:57[SPEAKER_03]: Good question.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_03]: Is this in a franchise featuring minions?
- 40:08[SPEAKER_03]: No!
- 40:10[SPEAKER_03]: Thank God.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's on Bob's goggles, he's goggles, he's single goggles.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I put it on Bob boy and I thought it was funny the way he said, but it's on Bob boy.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_03]: It's on Bob boy.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't funny how the minions kind of come back around and they get annoying.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_02]: And then they start to be funny again.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was getting off Facebook.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_02]: I tell you something.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_03]: And then funny again.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_03]: Can't tell you something that you can't share with anybody.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_03]: My heart is changing on minions.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they're kind of funny.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_03]: I'm starting to think they're kind of funny again.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: Getting off a Facebook and not seeing them saying like Republicans though, the most racist thing.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'm kind of in dominions.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're funny.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_03]: You can tell anybody.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_02]: Please delete that.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's sort of like birds where it's like I turned 30 and I was like, what bird is that?
- 40:55[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, they're cool.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: I downloaded a map.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_02]: I downloaded a map.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_02]: Might be the same when I'm garland.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_02]: Cornelab.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I downloaded that this weekend.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_03]: My cousin was like, dude, if you're into birds right here, get this.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_03]: Cornelab's YouTube channel is awesome for bird stuff.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_02]: I got Blue Jays hanging around, apparently they're jerks, but I like, I got swallows by my door.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and apparently it's a federal crime in Colorado to move a nest while swallows are like, they have live babies in there.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_03]: Really?
- 41:24[SPEAKER_03]: And there's babies in the nest.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, you have like four.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we have a bunch, okay, animated franchise, not made by Pixar, more than King's been less than Harry Potter.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_03]: So some, so about four to six entries in this franchise, they're still making more of them today.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_03]: Is this, is this a, is this a track?
- 41:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but we are.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, okay, is it in one of the good tracks that's one and two?
- 41:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_01]: Is this in track one?
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but where?
- 42:13[SPEAKER_03]: Is have you hidden the symbol on a character?
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: Come on.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, but kind of... Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: but to each one.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_03]: Does this scene take place before track rescues Fiona?
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_03]: Is it the scene when track kicks the door open to his outhouse?
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_03]: To all start by smash mouse.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_00]: But that would be awesome.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_03]: Is it the scene when Trek gets to do luck and they sing the song that's like it's a small world after all?
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: No!
- 43:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's before that!
- 43:25[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't have to do that, I was just being nice.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, before we get to do luck, is this win Trek meets Donkey?
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: Almost!
- 43:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm kind of becoming Pinocchio almost from track.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, a little bit, a little bit from track.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_03]: Is this the Pinocchio?
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_03]: OK, thought it'd be, thought maybe Freud was my friend here.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_01]: Trying to think of what happens in this movie before we go see.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_03]: Is it before any of the things that I have mentioned?
- 44:04[SPEAKER_03]: Am I looking too late in the movie?
- 44:06[SPEAKER_00]: The...
- 44:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's out?
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's out?
- 44:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's before most of them.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's out.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he kicks the door open right after the storybook.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_02]: So, why didn't know if you hit it in the storybook?
- 44:22[SPEAKER_03]: That would be good, but no.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_03]: That's a good spot to hide it.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_03]: Is it part of the montage that is covered by all star by Smash Ralph?
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember if that song's playing still.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_03]: Doesn't he like doesn't he get in the mud hot tub during that song?
- 44:40[SPEAKER_03]: The beginning of the movie.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: He does.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's not there.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, is this in the scene when the villagers come with their like pitchforks and stuff?
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: Right before it, I think.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_00]: What happens in this movie?
- 45:02[SPEAKER_03]: What happens in the movie's track before the villagers come with their pitchforks?
- 45:06[SPEAKER_03]: He kicks over the door and they come with their pitchforks.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_03]: But in between, and by the way, I want to be very clear.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_03]: Is this hidden in the earwax candle?
- 45:19[SPEAKER_00]: You have found the magic symbol!
- 45:24[SPEAKER_02]: I actually can't remember if that's right before the villagers come with the pitchforks or if it's right before all of the animal shop.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_03]: Man, that is a good one.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_03]: And you couldn't see this listener, but I actually began floating and glowing.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_03]: Like I consumed all the chaos emeralds.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_03]: So.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_02]: If we were playing in a group, we would have alternated who got to ask the questions.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_02]: And because Doge found it, Doge is now in possession of the magic thimble.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_02]: The wizard, the wizard wand and robe has left me and has enveloped Doge.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_02]: And he will now hide the magic thimble for all of us.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_03]: You got something to hide?
- 46:00[SPEAKER_02]: I think so.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'm usually pretty quick.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's not true.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_02]: This game can be so impossible sometimes.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_03]: OK, OK, I have the magic.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_03]: And there's different flavors of wizards.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody's wizard is their own wizard.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_03]: Is the thimble an fictional place?
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_02]: Is this fictional place from a film?
- 46:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_02]: Is there also a book that contains this story?
- 46:32[SPEAKER_03]: Novelizations, we don't have to count.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_03]: I'm reasonably certain.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_03]: If you exclude novelizations, then probably no.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_02]: Is this from an animated film?
- 46:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_02]: Is this from a Disney-owned property?
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: Including Pixar.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_02]: Did this film come out during our childhoods?
- 47:11[SPEAKER_02]: Let's call that pre-high school.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_02]: Is it a Pixar film?
- 47:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_02]: Is the Thimble hidden somewhere in the Toy Story universe?
- 47:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: Is it on a character?
- 47:31[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_02]: Is it on an item associated with a character?
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_02]: and is the character one of the toys?
- 47:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, does the toy belong to Andy?
- 47:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: Do we meet this character in Toy Story 1?
- 47:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: So we've got the cast.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_02]: I've seen that.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_02]: I've never seen it, but I hope to someday.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_02]: Woody owns the toy.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not going to be one of Andy's sick freaks.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_02]: Or I want to, I'm sorry, one of a Sid's sick freaks because Andy owns the toy.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he plays gently with it.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's not on a character.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, we would count like RC car as a character, because he's got to be treated like that.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_02]: So this is like a prop, this is like a toy, this is like something that a character is associated with in some way.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_02]: Is the Thimble Hidden on something associated with Buzz Lightyear of Star Command?
- 48:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_02]: Is the Thimble Hidden in the red dot of Buzz's laser?
- 48:52[SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, no, but that's a really good game.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_02]: Something that is associated with Buzz.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_02]: However, not on his person.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, is, is the Thimble Hidden in the Bouncy Ball?
- 49:08[SPEAKER_02]: That buzz runs, runs as is on.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_02]: No, it is not.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_02]: Is the Thimble Hidden in the fan blade that he uses to fall with style?
- 49:19[SPEAKER_02]: No, it is not, okay.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_02]: Am I am I thinking to the niche of an item, no, okay, okay.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_03]: So, which I mean, that's a subjective question.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_03]: I would say no.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, fair enough.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_03]: Is it in the box that buzz comes in at the birthday party?
- 49:39[SPEAKER_03]: No, no.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_02]: Is buzzers association with this item for just a scene or two or is it?
- 49:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, let me start there.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_02]: Is it just for a scene or two?
- 49:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, it's brief.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_03]: Is it the claw?
- 49:58[SPEAKER_03]: No, is the claw buzz or Woody?
- 50:03[SPEAKER_03]: They're both in there.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because buzz gets in because he thinks it's a rocket ship back to star command.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_03]: Is it the rocket strategy to buzz his back?
- 50:13[SPEAKER_03]: No, but that's a really good game.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_03]: No, it is not.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and the first one.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't have the shootie balls in the first one.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's Zerg's gun, right?
- 50:22[SPEAKER_02]: In the second one?
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's Zerg's gun, in the second one.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_03]: Um, this, a free hint from the wizard.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_03]: Free hint from the wizard is that this is not at Andy's house.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_02]: Is that pizza planet?
- 50:36[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_02]: At Sitz House.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, is this is Buzz dressed as, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
- 51:06[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, what a good scene in that movie.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my goodness, Tim, Tim Allen so complicated for me because I think he's such a chode.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: And yet so many of my fondest childhood memories are directly connected.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: Love Santa.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, love Santa, love Buzz.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_02]: His performance as Buzz Lightyear specifically in the first two, specifically in the first two of his stories, is one of note perfect.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_03]: Wonderful.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_02]: He absolutely kills.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_02]: I still find myself saying falling with style occasionally as like, yeah, kind of a bit.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: Mrs. Nespite.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_03]: Great pool.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_03]: Mrs. Nespite's teacup contains the magic symbol.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_03]: Very good.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_03]: I really hope we washed all the shrek your wax off of it.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, take that game, run with it.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: You pretty much have, I mean, that's basically what you got is the rules, you got the sort of quirks.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_02]: You've got even some of the tactics.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a big fan of like eliminate full categories as soon as possible to just start to narrow down.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's really fun if you play with people that don't know you very well.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_02]: And by fun, I mean, completely infuriating.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_02]: I tend to try and go a little easier.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_02]: with people that don't know my tastes very well because this game can be pretty impossible if you're playing with.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_03]: Especially if you hide it somewhere real, like fictional is definitely easier than hiding it somewhere real.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like the list of real places is almost endless and the list of physical places, fictional places is very, very finite.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_02]: We did hide it in our roommates, but whole quite a bit.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: college yeah and then yeah one time we pretty common spot one time we hit it in the what was it the high school graduation the high school diploma of one of our friends on born children
- 52:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, in the future, you can sort of displace it in time.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the, the thing book moves where it wants to.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_02]: It is not under the constraints of time or space in any way.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_02]: So, so it's magic.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_02]: Well, there you go.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_02]: And that's really this accidental oops-all games episode of Two Chunks.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_02]: and a hunk.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_02]: We hope that we've done Carter Proud with some games that he's either been a part of or hopefully will be ironed up.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we'll, maybe we'll workshop a little more wheel of movies and see if we can get it real tight by the time he comes back.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_02]: And then, oh yeah, we can finally have a fresh game that he didn't orchestrate himself.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: He has to play it he has to play for the first time in a while that could be that could be pretty fun So make sure you keep an eye on your feed as mentioned the last time I believe we are Having an alternating weak schedule walk harder is off.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's half to protect your sweet beautiful years from having to listen to only two of us talk over and over again on a weekly basis And it's half to hopefully make it a little easier to schedule some fun guests that we hope to have Along with us quite a few times just to kind of
- 54:09[SPEAKER_02]: get some fresh takes on maybe some of these games I'm I'm a firm believer that anybody who comes on the show should have to play extra credit.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think it's a ride of fastest.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_03]: They just the barrier to entry.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_03]: So you've got to get you got to get yourself humble by I am.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, right.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_02]: You've got to come in and absolutely get your your your confidence creamed it and then you can move forward.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_02]: So that'll be that'll be standing.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah,
- 54:34[SPEAKER_02]: Stay tuned for more sort of freestyle two chunks as we're waiting for you know Carter's whole life to get back to whatever normal's gonna look like uh, you know this guy, but if you don't Carter personally reach out and give him some love this time is so exciting and we're so happy for him, but for two chunks in a hunk, I'm Jordan and I think that if the magic symbol were real
- 55:04[SPEAKER_02]: I would use it as an excuse to blow people's minds at parties.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_02]: I would say, I think you've got my thimble, and they would say, what thimble, and I would say, the one that's in the breast pocket of your jacket right now, and they'd say, what are you talking?
- 55:18[SPEAKER_02]: The thimble, and I'd say, thank you so much.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_02]: Does the power come from the thimble or the wizard?
- 55:22[SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, good question.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_02]: I do think it's the thimble.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_02]: It tends to transfer the powers whenever your ship transfers.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_03]: No such thing as wizard, it's like Thor's hammer.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_03]: Whoever holds it, be he worthy possesses the mind of the magic thimble.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_03]: That's true.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'm Dosh, if the magic thimble was real, I would finally learn to sew.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I use it to help.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_03]: I forgot, because I think that's what they're for.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, right now, that that's what they're for.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's what they're for.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_03]: You put on your thumb to keep yourself from poking it, right?
- 55:46[SPEAKER_03]: I usually just think of it as monopoly.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_03]: What is a thimble?
- 55:53[SPEAKER_03]: What Fimble, what it, what it does, what it's sewing, worn on the middle or index finger provides a hard surface to safely push the back end of an needle through thick or multiple layers of fabric.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, a Fimble possessing phenomenal cosmic power, I would use it to learn to sew.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_03]: That's how we do it.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_03]: That's an episode.
