Transcript
- 0:11Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's t LC Tuesday.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I got my girl Kimberly here.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Hey girl, I got a pimple on my chin and
- 0:21Speaker 2: I'm ready to go.
- 0:22Speaker 1: You Literally, we just talked about how we working to
- 0:25Speaker 1: discuss it, and you had it hidden and it's the
- 0:27Speaker 1: first thing you mentioned, and you want people to go
- 0:30Speaker 1: to the YouTube video you want.
- 0:32Speaker 2: I'm trying to lure people there by my disgusting elephantitis
- 0:37Speaker 2: thing on my chin. I thought I would help your
- 0:40Speaker 2: numbers out a little.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I thank you one for.
- 0:43Speaker 2: The team, and it's one that's under the surface as
- 0:47Speaker 2: we're discussing.
- 0:49Speaker 1: It looks like a little rock or not.
- 0:51Speaker 2: And I don't know. I'm just waiting to see what happens.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I'm on pins and needles.
- 0:55Speaker 1: That's the worst kind is when they're under there and
- 0:57Speaker 1: they feel like a little rock and you're like you
- 0:59Speaker 1: can't quit touching out because it's like maybe it's not
- 1:02Speaker 1: bad because it's not on the surface yet.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Right, but it'll be going to be bad.
- 1:08Speaker 1: It's I'll be tuned in, I'll.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Be pimple watched twenty twenty six, and we're all going
- 1:16Speaker 2: to get together and watch like it like the ball
- 1:18Speaker 2: dropping on New Year's Eve and see what happens with
- 1:22Speaker 2: this pimple?
- 1:23Speaker 1: Do you watch pimple popping videos?
- 1:26Speaker 2: I don't regularly, but I've watched many episodes of Doctor
- 1:31Speaker 2: Pimple Popper right on TLC.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah, right, No, that I cannot abide by. But I
- 1:37Speaker 1: don't watch pimple plom videos. I think it's pretty gross.
- 1:40Speaker 1: But do not give it to me, Internet, do not
- 1:43Speaker 1: send it my way. But there was this girl who
- 1:46Speaker 1: has like, who's this beautiful woman? And she has like
- 1:50Speaker 1: cystic acting. So she would show like, here's what I
- 1:53Speaker 1: did to sleep, and then she would have them all
- 1:56Speaker 1: covered and all the things done, and then like the
- 1:58Speaker 1: next day another would pop up. The next day another
- 2:00Speaker 1: would pop up. That was like interesting at least how
- 2:04Speaker 1: she was trying to mitigate what was there versus what
- 2:08Speaker 1: would pop up. And I don't know what gets that's rough. Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I don't know what gets rid of that.
- 2:15Speaker 2: It's like a full time job to cover it up. Yes,
- 2:19Speaker 2: And then when I have one, I feel self conscious
- 2:21Speaker 2: and it's like no one cares. It's no one's on
- 2:26Speaker 2: PLC walking around with no legs.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So or are they walking around with no legs or
- 2:32Speaker 1: are they they're getting around somehow they're getting around. I
- 2:35Speaker 1: did see that show you like, Jay and Pamela is
- 2:38Speaker 1: coming back. Yeah, they're having a baby.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I was like, no, is that what they're doing?
- 2:46Speaker 1: Well, that's they can't have way, you.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Know, there's absolutely no way. There's that show yeah, with
- 2:54Speaker 2: people like with fantastic conditions and they're just doing more
- 2:59Speaker 2: with their lives than I am. And it's just a
- 3:02Speaker 2: way to show that about yourself.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I've watched quite a few of those, and it's like,
- 3:07Speaker 2: I don't have a conjoined twin, I don't have a
- 3:11Speaker 2: disease that where a tumor takes up half my body.
- 3:14Speaker 2: But I am sucking at life and they're achieving things.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You're not sucking. But also there's a new show on TLC.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It's like Little Singles Dating. Yes, I'm little Little Singles,
- 3:28Speaker 1: Little Johnson's, I don't know.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Yes, I'm all in. I watch every show that has
- 3:33Speaker 2: little people.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I was cornered at a March Badness basketball party with
- 3:39Speaker 1: a friend asking me why I didn't cover seven Little Johnson's.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Oh, well we could, I don't.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I just don't.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Corey and Carly are doing it now on who they
- 3:50Speaker 2: are in reality. Okay, they got wept in. I've been
- 3:53Speaker 2: watching that show almost since the beginning, but now it's
- 3:56Speaker 2: like season sixteen or something, and people are finally to
- 4:00Speaker 2: how terrible these parents are so right, right right. That's
- 4:04Speaker 2: nothing to do with them being little people. It is, oh,
- 4:07Speaker 2: just about the family dynamics that are so messed.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Up, just like the Plaths.
- 4:14Speaker 2: It's exactly Plaths smaller.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I would like to say thank you to Bunkie Chris
- 4:22Speaker 1: who reached out that there was this Facebook group and
- 4:25Speaker 1: I don't know if it's elsewhere, maybe it's Instagram too,
- 4:29Speaker 1: but had like ten of my clips on there from
- 4:32Speaker 1: YouTube with Olivia Plath, but like no credit given, just
- 4:36Speaker 1: clips and like real closed in so you couldn't see
- 4:39Speaker 1: the logos or anything. And so I had to DM
- 4:44Speaker 1: that person and go, Hi, you're going to do If
- 4:47Speaker 1: you're going to put my clips on your site, please
- 4:50Speaker 1: give me credit. And they said, well, I will go
- 4:53Speaker 1: and put link to your YouTube in the notes in
- 4:57Speaker 1: the in the first comment or whatever. I said, that
- 4:59Speaker 1: would the And I said, in the future, is it
- 5:01Speaker 1: okay if I use your clips, if I put a
- 5:05Speaker 1: link to your YouTube in the comments I was like, yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 1: just because somebody can't.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Believe they bonded. So many people just copy other people's
- 5:15Speaker 2: I know.
- 5:15Speaker 1: And then I asked them, are you the.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Same memes over and over again, but just someone else
- 5:21Speaker 2: doing it talking to the camera. It's like you're just
- 5:24Speaker 2: stealing word for word.
- 5:26Speaker 1: It were.
- 5:28Speaker 2: If this involved Mariah, she would be writing an evil
- 5:32Speaker 2: song about you, because it's like her Spotify password got
- 5:38Speaker 2: stolen and she's.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Not going to get that twelve dollars. Yeah, we're not
- 5:44Speaker 1: there yet. We're still in our rewatch. We're in season four.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I think all that goes down in season five.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I think I was just listening to you and Kisha,
- 5:55Speaker 2: and you were saying, it's hot Kim summer. It's hot
- 5:58Speaker 2: Sport summer. Yeah, and welcome Keisha to the scored era.
- 6:04Speaker 1: It is Keisha. Realn't even know because now Kim is
- 6:07Speaker 1: starting to pull away from Barry. She definitely has a
- 6:11Speaker 1: side piece. I'm like, yeah, she does, Yeah, she does.
- 6:14Speaker 1: His name is Ken. Get ready for that hot piece
- 6:18Speaker 1: of ass.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I actually just saw a very well we'll talk about tomorrow.
- 6:23Speaker 2: We're going to talk about Blath tomorrow. But I did
- 6:25Speaker 2: see some interesting Reddit threads the other night when I
- 6:28Speaker 2: couldn't sleep about people's theories about the show, and I
- 6:32Speaker 2: was like, oh, that's interesting.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Well I did ask this content person are you a
- 6:37Speaker 1: Plath only page because it said like something something like
- 6:41Speaker 1: two letters and an entertainment. I said, are you a
- 6:43Speaker 1: Plath page and they said no, I'm a TLC content page.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I was like, well, every single the only clips you
- 6:49Speaker 1: have are about blathfill. Yeah. So I didn't understand, but
- 6:53Speaker 1: it's not for me to understand. They wrote back. They
- 6:55Speaker 1: were nice. They agreed to put my YouTube link, So
- 6:59Speaker 1: thank you, because you know you're trying to grow your YouTube.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I'm trying to grow my YouTube. Think Shade Monkeys the
- 7:05Speaker 1: Day with Dank go subscribe everybody you can see thinking.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Really does this person want to host pimple Watch twenty
- 7:13Speaker 2: twenty six.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Nope, nobody does. Nobody does.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Somebody does, and then I can auction it off for
- 7:24Speaker 2: thousands of dollars. There's some weird fetishes out there.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I have to tell you that. And this is a
- 7:31Speaker 1: compliment for you and Katie, who I love so much.
- 7:33Speaker 1: That I was listening to, like an old episode you
- 7:38Speaker 1: guys put out or it was something I didn't watch.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I was just listening to it, you know, for comfort,
- 7:42Speaker 1: and I was like, you know, Kimberly and Katie are
- 7:46Speaker 1: very funny. In my mind, I was like, they are
- 7:48Speaker 1: very funny. They are very good podcasters. They play off
- 7:51Speaker 1: each other very well. I mean, you've known each other
- 7:53Speaker 1: for a very long time. I was like, you guys
- 7:56Speaker 1: are just a great podcasting duo for the ages.
- 7:59Speaker 2: A thank you, b I love that. It seems like
- 8:02Speaker 2: you just had this really.
- 8:03Speaker 1: No, I've always I've always known that. I've always known it,
- 8:07Speaker 1: but sometimes it just sort of hits you, like, wow,
- 8:09Speaker 1: this is really good, Like this is really good.
- 8:11Speaker 2: It was an older episode, probably when we were funnier.
- 8:15Speaker 1: No, You're you're funny. You're just very good. It's very
- 8:19Speaker 1: good playing off each other. It was. It was kind
- 8:20Speaker 1: of a recent episode because it was you talking about
- 8:22Speaker 1: how you've become a prop comic.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah that's a brand new episode.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah. I was like, these, these these gals
- 8:31Speaker 1: are funny. No, I interviewed you for pain in the
- 8:35Speaker 1: pod like yes, forever ago, yes, yes, did we ever
- 8:42Speaker 1: do and then we'll get into the recap, I promise
- 8:44Speaker 1: did we ever do a like a redo? Like have
- 8:49Speaker 1: you guys listened to it and then I reinterviewed you. No,
- 8:52Speaker 1: we were planning to, but I don't think we ever
- 8:54Speaker 1: did that. I don't think we ever did that either.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I want to do that because that's really good bonus
- 8:58Speaker 1: content to have people go back and we look into
- 9:00Speaker 1: what we said and then Yeah, I had Jak Matt
- 9:03Speaker 1: do it. I had Ryan Bailey do it. It's pretty funny. Yeah,
- 9:06Speaker 1: I love that.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Now, Katie.
- 9:11Speaker 2: We're trying to get Katie to come to New York
- 9:13Speaker 2: in October.
- 9:14Speaker 1: So we're trying. We're trying. We'll see what happens.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I did text you though, that the only downside to
- 9:20Speaker 2: that plan is that her outfits would overshadow all of us.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Well duh, I don't know because Keisha's coming.
- 9:27Speaker 2: So yeah, not Keisha, just us.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I well just be and you. Yeah, I'll be in
- 9:31Speaker 1: all black and you can count on that. Okay. Ninety
- 9:35Speaker 1: Day Fiance, Season twelve, Episode five, something old, something new,
- 9:40Speaker 1: and something borrowed, something blue and it wasn't last week.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Something uh like a ceremony, a wedding ceremony, something it
- 9:52Speaker 2: worws to forsake all others.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Yes, let's see ninety Day Fiance. Let's see if we
- 9:58Speaker 1: can get a pattern here. Ninety Day Fiance season twelve titles.
- 10:05Speaker 2: We had in my Wedding era okay or am I
- 10:09Speaker 2: getting married?
- 10:10Speaker 3: Era?
- 10:10Speaker 1: Am I getting married? Era trusting the process? I manifested you.
- 10:15Speaker 1: So that's where we thought we were coming up with,
- 10:17Speaker 1: like gen Z terms, but then episode four was forsaking
- 10:22Speaker 1: all of others. Episode six is something old, something new,
- 10:26Speaker 1: excuse me? And then episode six is apparently going to
- 10:30Speaker 1: be called when two worlds collide? So what no? So
- 10:35Speaker 1: no no rhyme or reason? No, No, I'm mad. I'm
- 10:40Speaker 1: mad too. It is fun when they do that, but
- 10:42Speaker 1: they decided to forsake us this season.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I feel forsookth.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Let's talk about Debbie and Meadow. I got a lot
- 10:52Speaker 1: of great screenshots of Meto this week, who have really turned.
- 10:55Speaker 2: On He is horrible And I thought he was kind
- 11:00Speaker 2: of fun and charming and this nice gay guy who's
- 11:04Speaker 2: marrying a lady to get to Hollywood. Yeah, now I
- 11:07Speaker 2: think and I was fine with that. She seemed to
- 11:10Speaker 2: be fine with it, and now I'm down on him.
- 11:14Speaker 2: He seems like he could be scary.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Seems like he could have anger issues. And possibly some
- 11:21Speaker 1: violence could occur.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Yeah, So eighty seven days to wed with Debbie and
- 11:26Speaker 1: Meadow and the next morning she's like, how did you sleep?
- 11:30Speaker 1: He says not well. So she says, let's go off
- 11:32Speaker 1: for some coffee and talk. So they go to this
- 11:34Speaker 1: place and did you know see she ordered a soda
- 11:37Speaker 1: with ice. Yeah.
- 11:39Speaker 2: My dad was furious. He's like, who orders the soda?
- 11:41Speaker 2: You say, Diet Coke?
- 11:43Speaker 1: What I had? I said, well, for the show, you
- 11:45Speaker 1: probably can't say for the show. Yeah, like Diet Coke
- 11:49Speaker 1: is all over Bravo. But Diet Coke said, don't bring
- 11:53Speaker 1: us into this TLC mess.
- 11:54Speaker 2: No.
- 11:56Speaker 1: So and the talking head Debbie says, Meet refuses to communicate,
- 12:01Speaker 1: which is immature and I'm not his freaking Papa Rozzi.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Okay, go girl, So well again, if you don't want
- 12:08Speaker 2: him immature man, don't pick a man twenty years younger
- 12:11Speaker 2: than you.
- 12:12Speaker 1: He's only fourteen years younger than her, fifty five and
- 12:15Speaker 1: forty one, fifty five and forty one, he's forty one.
- 12:20Speaker 1: That's what it says. What says here on my notes,
- 12:22Speaker 1: it must be true. I will also say I had
- 12:26Speaker 1: this big conversation at dinner last night with the family
- 12:29Speaker 1: for some reason, and I was saying, like, Ginny and
- 12:32Speaker 1: Cement are you know thirty seven and sixty seven? And
- 12:36Speaker 1: we were having this whole conversation about like some good
- 12:38Speaker 1: friends of ours, they're twelve years a part, and like
- 12:40Speaker 1: Ingrid and her husband are nine years a part. We're
- 12:42Speaker 1: having this big conversation. Anna was like nine years of art,
- 12:45Speaker 1: twelve years of art, but thirty years apart is crazy.
- 12:50Speaker 1: And then my daughter asked my son, would you do that?
- 12:53Speaker 1: Would you date a woman that old? He's like, I mean,
- 12:56Speaker 1: is she rich? Is she giving me things? Does she
- 12:59Speaker 1: have a boat? Yes? Like a boat? Yeah, I want
- 13:04Speaker 1: to boat.
- 13:06Speaker 2: I want a boat. I don't have no desire to
- 13:08Speaker 2: own a plane, but I would love to own a boat.
- 13:10Speaker 2: But you're also going to have to pay docking fees
- 13:13Speaker 2: for me I want to and the insurance all of that.
- 13:17Speaker 2: You can't just like saddle me with something like I
- 13:19Speaker 2: wanted on Wheel of Fortune and I have to pay
- 13:22Speaker 2: all the taxes on it.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you know my cousin will car on Wheel of
- 13:25Speaker 1: Fortune and had to pay the taxes, right, So sorry,
- 13:29Speaker 1: it was the price is right? Yeah, they had to
- 13:32Speaker 1: pay all the taxes and then the minute they got it,
- 13:34Speaker 1: they sold it.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that all they want. That's what happened with all
- 13:38Speaker 2: those Oprah ladies. You get a car, and you get
- 13:41Speaker 2: a car, and you have to pay taxes on that car,
- 13:43Speaker 2: and you're going to sell that car. Speaking of age differences,
- 13:48Speaker 2: sorry to get off track. I was trying to think
- 13:49Speaker 2: if there was a couple with a bigger age difference
- 13:52Speaker 2: than Geniane submit And I was thinking about that couple
- 13:56Speaker 2: where he was such a scary guy and yelled at
- 14:00Speaker 2: her for putting her handprint on his window in his car. Yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 2: and she was like twenty. She was literally like maybe.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Couldn't drink it is I just looked at him up
- 14:12Speaker 1: the other day because Mark Mark, his name is Mark.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'm trying to look up her name Mark ninety Day
- 14:21Speaker 1: Fiance season, and.
- 14:25Speaker 2: She was from the same island nation that he and
- 14:28Speaker 2: Nicki got Nikki. He had purchased his first wife at
- 14:33Speaker 2: this island from this island nation and that didn't work out,
- 14:36Speaker 2: so he went back to that island nation and said
- 14:38Speaker 2: I'd like a newer model.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Yep, she left. The original woman left him, and he
- 14:45Speaker 1: pressures her into This is what Google says. He pressures
- 14:48Speaker 1: her into a prenup and his attempts to recreate his
- 14:51Speaker 1: first marriage fifty eight and nineteen. Oh god, yeah, yeah yeah,
- 15:00Speaker 1: so they did get divorceduff for six years, so oh
- 15:03Speaker 1: they did. Yeah, God, she's free. Mark bought Nikki the
- 15:09Speaker 1: same make and model car he had previously purchased for
- 15:12Speaker 1: his ex wife, like he did. Ever, he literally was
- 15:14Speaker 1: just trying to recreate it.
- 15:16Speaker 2: No, it was like one of those horror movies where
- 15:18Speaker 2: you're like the second Way. It's like Rebecca or something,
- 15:20Speaker 2: and you're like living in the shadow of your first
- 15:23Speaker 2: wife and you're wearing her clothes.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Okay, So back to Mito. So they said to have
- 15:29Speaker 1: their muffin or whatever and drink their coffee, and he's
- 15:31Speaker 1: being so dramatic. He's just like hmm.
- 15:35Speaker 2: He's like is it good, and he's like it's okay, Like,
- 15:39Speaker 2: you can't even compliment the coffee. It's not the coffee's
- 15:42Speaker 2: fault that you didn't get your precious Instagram photo of
- 15:46Speaker 2: you driving a big boy truck.
- 15:48Speaker 1: He's ridiculous, and she says, hey, we have to talk.
- 15:52Speaker 1: You can't get mad at me if I make a
- 15:54Speaker 1: mistake and accidentally take a photo and not a video.
- 15:57Speaker 1: He goes, that's not what I'm angry about, and you
- 15:59Speaker 1: know it and she says, well what he says, you
- 16:02Speaker 1: threw your phone on my face? You did that? She goes,
- 16:06Speaker 1: I threw it at your lap and he goes, no,
- 16:08Speaker 1: you threw it at your face. Now. Do I think
- 16:10Speaker 1: she threw it at his face? No? Do I think
- 16:12Speaker 1: it hit him in the face? Yes? Do I care? No? Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 1: both things would be true. I think she threw it
- 16:18Speaker 1: and it probably maybe bounced off his face into his lap.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Reality bruise, I need to see examine his skin.
- 16:27Speaker 1: She's not that strong. Reality Rocks did a video about
- 16:30Speaker 1: it and said, and it was like, based on my
- 16:32Speaker 1: conversation with Pink Shade Pod, here's what we think happened. Yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 1: it was hilarious. She has like just a phone case
- 16:39Speaker 1: and he's like, oh, as ladies of a certain age,
- 16:44Speaker 1: losing weight can be beyond hard. And you know, losing
- 16:47Speaker 1: weight is one thing, but then keeping it off that's
- 16:50Speaker 1: a whole other ballgame, and that's where it gets really frustrating.
- 16:55Speaker 1: That's why Weight Lost by Hers now offers access to

- 18:55Speaker 1: she says, is there so by the way, she doesn't
- 18:58Speaker 1: push back on this too much, which leads me to
- 19:00Speaker 1: believe the phone did hit him in the face. But
- 19:02Speaker 1: it wasn't a good deal, and he's making it a
- 19:04Speaker 1: good deal.
- 19:05Speaker 2: But this is his bread and butter. If he's gonna
- 19:08Speaker 2: be the Egyptian movie star he came. This is the
- 19:12Speaker 2: moneymaker here.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Okay, She says, is there room for error with you?
- 19:16Speaker 1: And he goes, you can't do that with me. You
- 19:19Speaker 1: made a big mistake. If that would have happened in
- 19:22Speaker 1: Egypt with a girlfriend or fiance, I will leave it immediately.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I left everything for you the mike work and my
- 19:30Speaker 1: father and you did something like that, and she goes, well,
- 19:35Speaker 1: I was tired, and it felt very much like do this,
- 19:38Speaker 1: and not like a fiance, but just like I work
- 19:41Speaker 1: for you, like do this, and that's how I felt,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and I just sometimes don't feel like doing it. I
- 19:46Speaker 1: just wanted it to be me and you no camera
- 19:50Speaker 1: And he says, huh, well, when the embassy asked you
- 19:52Speaker 1: for proof, if we had no videos or cameras, what
- 19:55Speaker 1: would you do to prove it to them? Answer?
- 19:59Speaker 2: WHOA, I do you still have to do that after
- 20:05Speaker 2: they come to America. I know that you have to
- 20:07Speaker 2: do that before your visa meeting.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I think she's I think he's saying, when we did it,
- 20:13Speaker 1: how would we have it to them if I wouldn't
- 20:15Speaker 1: have taken all this video? And she says, I just
- 20:19Speaker 1: wanted to get the truck back. I was tired. I
- 20:21Speaker 1: did not feel like doing a video. And he goes,
- 20:24Speaker 1: that's not an answer, it's an excuse, and I will
- 20:26Speaker 1: be angry again enough so her talking the talking head.
- 20:32Speaker 1: He says, she didn't say she was sorry, just I
- 20:35Speaker 1: was tired. The women in Egypt and the Quran say
- 20:38Speaker 1: the woman should respect the man so much, and I
- 20:42Speaker 1: think Debbie was not with the man for twenty years
- 20:44Speaker 1: and she needs to learn.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I didn't like that.
- 20:49Speaker 1: All of this is making me real, by the way,
- 20:52Speaker 1: just plotting my anger towards Medo. Oh god.
- 20:56Speaker 2: She says, well that wasn't a big enough reaction then
- 20:58Speaker 2: for a real I don't like that, Mary Payne, she
- 21:03Speaker 2: needs to learn. Oh you're gonna school me now, Mino.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I don't think so. With your frizzy hair and your
- 21:10Speaker 2: little leggings around town. Those leggings are not scaring anybody, no.
- 21:15Speaker 1: God bless So she says, well, we need to work
- 21:18Speaker 1: through this. You have a temper and I have a
- 21:21Speaker 1: temper too. He says, well, if you have a temper
- 21:24Speaker 1: for me, it's easy. I will leave. I'm not coming
- 21:27Speaker 1: here for your temper, and she goes, okay, you're just
- 21:31Speaker 1: saying you're gonna leave. Can't be the answer to everything.
- 21:34Speaker 1: And he says, no, I'm not mad. This is over.
- 21:37Speaker 1: You learn and this is the last time you make
- 21:39Speaker 1: me mad to you. Oh my god, I don't like it.
- 21:42Speaker 1: And then talking to it, she goes him threatening me
- 21:45Speaker 1: and threatening to leave is so frustrating at such a
- 21:47Speaker 1: cop out and then she goes, look, I don't want
- 21:50Speaker 1: you to be upset with me, but I don't want
- 21:52Speaker 1: to be your fan. I want to be your wife.
- 21:55Speaker 1: He says, well, to be a wife, you have to
- 21:57Speaker 1: be a fan and support me. And he says, I
- 22:00Speaker 1: am supporting you, like literally, I am supporting you. And
- 22:05Speaker 1: he says, who does put you.
- 22:06Speaker 2: In those lemings?
- 22:09Speaker 1: How did you get that? Lemmings's probably what they were. Yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 1: they didn't knock up lemons. And he says that's good
- 22:24Speaker 1: because I have big dream and she goes okay, she's
- 22:27Speaker 1: can I ask you something? He goes no, and then
- 22:30Speaker 1: you see him flip and smiles and goes, of course,
- 22:34Speaker 1: what do you want? I'm scared, God, I'm scared. What
- 22:38Speaker 1: kind of take do you want?
- 22:38Speaker 2: Director? Do you want a scary take like I'm going
- 22:41Speaker 2: to murder some it? Or do you want to have it?
- 22:43Speaker 2: He goes, he does this. That is what he did.
- 22:46Speaker 1: That is what he did.
- 22:48Speaker 2: It was wild and she's a trained actor.
- 22:51Speaker 1: That's correct. And she says I want my ring and
- 22:53Speaker 1: he goes, oh, you want your ring soon, god willing,
- 22:57Speaker 1: and she's like, god willing, Why does she want ring
- 23:00Speaker 1: from this man? Why do you want to lock it down?
- 23:03Speaker 1: Why this speaking of another couple that doesn't need to
- 23:08Speaker 1: lock it down. It's Marissa and Edward.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Oh god, no, I believe in their love. No, just kidding, No,
- 23:16Speaker 2: that would be funny. So they're at the airport and
- 23:22Speaker 2: he says, this will be the first time that I've
- 23:24Speaker 2: written in a BMW and she says, really.
- 23:28Speaker 1: What did she say? Yeah? Right? How would do they
- 23:31Speaker 1: have BMW's in the DR's it's an import?
- 23:34Speaker 2: I mean they might, but why is she so shocked?
- 23:38Speaker 2: Like everyone's written in a BMW. It's like he said, I,
- 23:41Speaker 2: this is the first time riding in a car.
- 23:44Speaker 1: You're right, You're right. I don't know if they had
- 23:46Speaker 1: BMW's over there. It's a German import, so I would
- 23:48Speaker 1: imagine that's probably not high on the list of cars
- 23:51Speaker 1: they get over there. I don't know, but like, but
- 23:55Speaker 1: it's like a rich person car in general.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so I think it's you know, how he lives. No,
- 24:02Speaker 2: so then he doesn't remember to put the car seat
- 24:04Speaker 2: on the car seatbelt. I almost car seat like he's
- 24:07Speaker 2: a little boy. But that's how it feels for seatbelt
- 24:13Speaker 2: because he doesn't use one in the DR and he's
- 24:16Speaker 2: kissing her.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Hand like he really loves her.
- 24:20Speaker 2: In comparison to a lot of these other couples, there
- 24:22Speaker 2: is like physical contact he likes. They drive to Pennsylvania
- 24:27Speaker 2: little neighborhood Bluebell. How cute is that? So he do
- 24:34Speaker 2: they make the ice cream I'm thinking of blue bonnet?
- 24:39Speaker 1: Is no, I'm think in a Bluebell ice cream? But
- 24:41Speaker 1: that's a southern yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 2: So he's he likes the neighborhood. He says, do they
- 24:49Speaker 2: have rules about playing music past a certain hour? And
- 24:52Speaker 2: she's like, yeah, no one is playing music late. And
- 24:54Speaker 2: he says, oh, because there's definitely no Dominicans here, right,
- 24:58Speaker 2: And she's like no, you're going to be the only Dominican.
- 25:00Speaker 2: And he's like really, It's like, shouldn't you have discussed
- 25:04Speaker 2: this earlier? And he said, so is everyone here very white?
- 25:08Speaker 2: He's Michael and and she says, yeah, so haven't they
- 25:16Speaker 2: have they not discussed this? So they pull up to
- 25:20Speaker 2: the house. He thinks it looks like home alone, and
- 25:23Speaker 2: it actually does kind of look like I mean, it's
- 25:25Speaker 2: that brick house and they do the ah and so
- 25:31Speaker 2: he's never even had an apartment, let alone a house,
- 25:34Speaker 2: so he's very excited.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Has he always lived with this family, you think.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so, And she says, she keeps saying
- 25:42Speaker 2: it's our house, like correcting him, it's our house, babe,
- 25:46Speaker 2: it's not my house. It's our house, even though the
- 25:49Speaker 2: second they enter the home it is instantly her house
- 25:53Speaker 2: and she has to tell him all of the rules.
- 25:56Speaker 2: So and he is one of her children now, So
- 26:00Speaker 2: first of all, shoes off, we are shoes off, household.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Your feet have been tracking in crap all the way
- 26:06Speaker 2: from the dr. You've been at the airport taken off
- 26:09Speaker 2: your shoes. He thinks that's weird. They don't do that
- 26:11Speaker 2: in the DR. And she's like, it's filthy. So he's
- 26:16Speaker 2: like okay. And then she shows him the bedroom, which
- 26:21Speaker 2: he thinks looks like a hotel room, and she has
- 26:24Speaker 2: saved him two rods in his part of the his
- 26:27Speaker 2: and hers closet. I think that was fine actually, because
- 26:31Speaker 2: I don't think he brought a lot of stuff with him.
- 26:33Speaker 2: It didn't seem like.
- 26:34Speaker 1: He had a lot of suitcases.
- 26:36Speaker 2: But it's more symbolic, like, are you giving up equal
- 26:41Speaker 2: amount of space for this man or you?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yeah? I agree. I agree that symbolically she should have
- 26:47Speaker 1: had that whole thing emptied. But it's better than freaking
- 26:51Speaker 1: Thomas and Paula, where he was like, you can have
- 26:53Speaker 1: this coat closet it I haven't cleaned it out yet,
- 26:55Speaker 1: or who were the people that whispered in England?
- 26:59Speaker 2: Gretta, Oh, Greta and Matthew. Yeah, you can have to drawer.
- 27:03Speaker 2: But he didn't clear it. Yeah, he didn't be clear it. Yeah.
- 27:07Speaker 2: So then she shows me the bathroom. This is where
- 27:09Speaker 2: things get pretty bad, and she says, so, this is
- 27:13Speaker 2: like a really big privilege for you to use this
- 27:17Speaker 2: bathroom because I didn't even let my ex husband use
- 27:20Speaker 2: the bathroom.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He had to.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Use the guests bathroom with the kids down the hall,
- 27:26Speaker 2: and this is just my space. And he but we're
- 27:29Speaker 2: gonna try this out, see how it goes. You're on
- 27:33Speaker 2: a trial basis basically, and so don't make a mess.
- 27:38Speaker 2: And he's like, so I'm lucky that I can use
- 27:41Speaker 2: his bathroom. And he's taking it very well, even though
- 27:43Speaker 2: he's a little confused, but he has a sense of
- 27:48Speaker 2: humor about it. And then there are two showers in
- 27:51Speaker 2: this bathroom. There's like one that's a standalone shower and
- 27:54Speaker 2: then one that is a bathtub. Shower.
- 27:56Speaker 1: That was weird.
- 27:58Speaker 2: I've never seen that before.
- 28:00Speaker 1: I have never seen that before. I have seen a
- 28:02Speaker 1: standalone bathtub and a shower, yeah, oh, but I have
- 28:07Speaker 1: never seen a bathtub shower combo, which is like standard
- 28:12Speaker 1: in most bathrooms, and a standalone shower. Does she have
- 28:15Speaker 1: that added on? Did it come like that?
- 28:18Speaker 2: Well, we can be a question. She might have not
- 28:20Speaker 2: a remodel, so, or maybe it's I don't know you're
- 28:24Speaker 2: you're rich. I don't know why you haven't seen it before,
- 28:26Speaker 2: so maybe.
- 28:27Speaker 1: It's never seen that before. So there's no BMWs, no
- 28:32Speaker 1: BMW's at this house.
- 28:35Speaker 2: So she says, okay, so this shower, the standalone shower,
- 28:41Speaker 2: that's my shower, and you won't be allowed to use
- 28:44Speaker 2: that one. You can use the bathtub one.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Tonight.
- 28:49Speaker 2: You can use my standalone shower because it has all
- 28:51Speaker 2: my products and stuff in it, and you haven't unpacked
- 28:54Speaker 2: your toilet trees, but.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Just for tonight.
- 28:59Speaker 2: And he's like why, and she goes, well, the shower
- 29:01Speaker 2: is my alone time and that's my sanctuary and I
- 29:05Speaker 2: don't want your gross guyness in there, which I guess
- 29:08Speaker 2: I can understand. She doesn't say that part, but that's
- 29:11Speaker 2: what I would feel like, like, but they're not showery,
- 29:15Speaker 2: they're not pooping in there, but I.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Hope not so do.
- 29:21Speaker 2: She says, I don't like showering with someone because someone
- 29:25Speaker 2: always gets the cold water side of the that's true.
- 29:28Speaker 1: That's true.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Water and sex and a shower, which they have tried
- 29:31Speaker 2: a couple times, is bad sex. It's awkward and slippery
- 29:36Speaker 2: and you can't get a good position. And she says,
- 29:39Speaker 2: just agree with me, because I'm right, and he says,
- 29:42Speaker 2: happy wife, happy life.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I guess, so okay, good luck.
- 29:46Speaker 2: And then he showers and he's ready to show her
- 29:49Speaker 2: his new penis is fresh out the bag, and she
- 29:56Speaker 2: sits down, she prepares herself. He says, the first they
- 30:00Speaker 2: had sex, she gave him a look and it made
- 30:02Speaker 2: him feel self conscious about his wee wee, And so
- 30:06Speaker 2: he had his circumcision and he's ready to be an
- 30:08Speaker 2: American now and he does a drum roll and then
- 30:13Speaker 2: he shows the doer and she says, it's actually really nice,
- 30:17Speaker 2: it's perfect.
- 30:18Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 30:19Speaker 2: And he goes, I think so too, and he says
- 30:22Speaker 2: he wants action tonight, so let's do this, and he
- 30:26Speaker 2: says it was very painful. There was a lot of
- 30:28Speaker 2: blood and it hurt and it was horrible. But and
- 30:32Speaker 2: then he says, I hope she likes it because there's no.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Refund and there's no putting it back.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Can't put it back, can't put that foreskin back in
- 30:41Speaker 2: the bottle.
- 30:42Speaker 1: So oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yea yea yea yea yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Can imagine why anybody would want to have that surgery.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Okay, all right, So then thankfully we only see kissing
- 30:52Speaker 2: and then it's over. So no like heavy petting, nothing
- 30:56Speaker 2: super awkward. Thank god.
- 30:57Speaker 1: I hate when they do that.
- 30:58Speaker 2: So then the next morning, she has made them protein smoothies,
- 31:02Speaker 2: even though he wants real food. But it's her house,
- 31:05Speaker 2: her rules. She's a fitness enthusiast.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Shall we say she said she teaches mar classes. Yeah.
- 31:15Speaker 1: I was like, you're so high powered executive.
- 31:17Speaker 2: I know she does it all.
- 31:19Speaker 1: So she says, just drink it.
- 31:22Speaker 2: You don't have to like the taste of it. It's like,
- 31:24Speaker 2: why shouldn't he have something that he likes the taste of.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Are you putting him on a regimen? Yeah? I think
- 31:30Speaker 1: it's like we're getting a trainer. She is hes and spinach,
- 31:34Speaker 1: and this is what we're doing and you're gonna carab
- 31:37Speaker 1: seas and here you go. Yeah.
- 31:39Speaker 2: So she's like then she's screaming at him. She's like,
- 31:43Speaker 2: do you want milking your coffee?
- 31:45Speaker 1: See? Or no leche? No leche.
- 31:49Speaker 2: She's screaming him like he is her child who is
- 31:51Speaker 2: on his video game and she's trying to get his attention.
- 31:55Speaker 2: And he says, do you want leche? And she says,
- 32:00Speaker 2: I had my fill of leche last night and Mary
- 32:05Speaker 2: Payne died inside I.
- 32:08Speaker 1: When they went down this path, and then I kept going.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I was like, stop stop, this is no, this is inappropriate.
- 32:16Speaker 1: It's not it. Stop it.
- 32:18Speaker 2: He's your third child. Stop acting like this gross. So
- 32:22Speaker 2: he says, you had your fill of leche last night
- 32:26Speaker 2: and this morning too, so good time. They wore out
- 32:31Speaker 2: that sprinking new penis. So they both say the sex
- 32:37Speaker 2: was really good. They have sexual chemistry, and then they
- 32:40Speaker 2: joke it's the cornerstone of our relationship, and I feel
- 32:42Speaker 2: like they're only half joking.
- 32:44Speaker 1: H yeah, I think they're only half joking there.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Yeah yeah. So then she shows him because he's not
- 32:51Speaker 2: satisfied by that smoothie and he wants real food. She's like, oh,
- 32:55Speaker 2: I have pre cooked hard boiled eggs. A. He doesn't
- 32:59Speaker 2: know what a hard boiled egg is. B he does
- 33:02Speaker 2: not know what this pre cooked hard boiled egg d
- 33:06Speaker 2: shelled in plastic packaging that you can get at the
- 33:09Speaker 2: grocery store here. And he says, you Americans are so weird,
- 33:13Speaker 2: and which is true. And he says, why don't you
- 33:18Speaker 2: just cook it? It would take like five minutes to cook. Well,
- 33:21Speaker 2: it takes longer than five minutes, but still he thinks
- 33:24Speaker 2: it's gross. They try it and he's like, ew, it's cold.
- 33:28Speaker 2: It's cold.
- 33:29Speaker 1: It should be hot.
- 33:30Speaker 2: And she's like, I'm when needed hot and he's like,
- 33:33Speaker 2: what so cultural differences.
- 33:36Speaker 1: I've never had a hard bowled egg in my life.
- 33:38Speaker 1: The only kind of egg I'll ever eat is a
- 33:40Speaker 1: scrambled interesting. I will not eat any other kind of thing.
- 33:44Speaker 1: You cannot don't go. Don't show me a fry, don't
- 33:47Speaker 1: show me a sunny side up, don't show me an
- 33:49Speaker 1: over easy. I only want to scrambled. So I definitely
- 33:51Speaker 1: even never eat a hard boled egg. And I hate
- 33:54Speaker 1: when you order a salad it has got like raw
- 33:57Speaker 1: egg or hard boiled egg on top of it. I'm like, gross,
- 34:00Speaker 1: what are we doing well. So I was with him.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I was with him on that.
- 34:04Speaker 2: I eggs kind of gross me out sometimes I'm in
- 34:07Speaker 2: a mood, but most of the time there gross me out.
- 34:09Speaker 2: So I get it. But I do think in America
- 34:13Speaker 2: we eat them cold. Even if you just boiled them,
- 34:15Speaker 2: you rinse them under cold water to stop looking.
- 34:18Speaker 1: So yeah, I think. So.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Then he notices chocolate and he's like, oh, there's chocolate
- 34:24Speaker 2: on the counter, and he.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Reaches for it.
- 34:26Speaker 2: She goes, no, no, no, no, not before, not for breakfast, No.
- 34:34Speaker 1: No, no, you'll wrap your teeth out.
- 34:38Speaker 2: You're gonna get crazy and I'm gonna have to pay
- 34:40Speaker 2: for them. Go brush your teeth like it is crazy.
- 34:44Speaker 2: She is treating him like a child, and then she's
- 34:48Speaker 2: gonna complain next week. It feels like I have another child.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Why is she like that? She did not have enough
- 34:56Speaker 1: therapy to think about relinquishing control of her home and
- 35:00Speaker 1: how it might be to have another like equal adult
- 35:03Speaker 1: in the house, right, And it's extremely hard for her
- 35:07Speaker 1: to relinquish any control. And so that, you know, because
- 35:11Speaker 1: she can control.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Well, she doesn't see him as an equal adult either.
- 35:14Speaker 1: That's true. True, that's a good point. Good point.
- 35:17Speaker 2: So then he is tickled pink by the faucet that
- 35:22Speaker 2: you touch it with your fingers, and he's.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Like, oh my god.
- 35:26Speaker 2: He's giggling like Gino, like a little school girl. He's
- 35:29Speaker 2: so but it's very cute. It's not creepy like when
- 35:32Speaker 2: Gino giggles. He is delighted by this faucet, which I
- 35:36Speaker 2: do not get the point of because to me, it
- 35:38Speaker 2: doesn't save any time, and there's still germs on it.
- 35:40Speaker 1: It's still to the neck. Yeah, you still have to
- 35:43Speaker 1: touch it.
- 35:45Speaker 2: So he is just giggling like a puppy, is licking
- 35:49Speaker 2: his face, and he says, I think this is something
- 35:53Speaker 2: for rich people.
- 35:55Speaker 1: This is crazy.
- 35:56Speaker 2: In my house, we don't even have hot water. And
- 35:59Speaker 2: when I would stay at the hotel with Blondie, he
- 36:02Speaker 2: calls her Blondie. Sometimes she would say why are you
- 36:05Speaker 2: taking so long in the shower, and I say, because
- 36:06Speaker 2: I'm enjoying the hot water. So he's just delighted.
- 36:11Speaker 1: So then don't you think when they were at a
- 36:12Speaker 1: hotel together, it was probably there's probably always two sinks
- 36:16Speaker 1: in the bathroom a shower, like a regular hotel. So
- 36:19Speaker 1: now he's like, so now we're here, and now I can't.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I'm lucky to be in the bathroom.
- 36:24Speaker 2: With you, right right, yep. So she says, let's go
- 36:29Speaker 2: on a power walk so I can show you the neighborhood.
- 36:32Speaker 1: And she says, put on some shoes. Do you have socks?
- 36:36Speaker 1: Are your socks clean? I was like, it's skin. It's
- 36:40Speaker 1: too mommy, it's too mommy. It's it's instantly as I'm
- 36:44Speaker 1: listening to you. I watched it, obviously, but as I'm
- 36:46Speaker 1: listening to you, it's just like it's just really a
- 36:49Speaker 1: stacking up. It's a lot of boniness. I didn't even
- 36:52Speaker 1: like think about that sck thing until she you're right,
- 36:55Speaker 1: oh my god.
- 36:56Speaker 2: He's not going to be able to perform sexually soon.
- 36:59Speaker 1: She keeps this new weedd's not going to work now, y'all.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Summer is here, and this is when I flip my
- 37:06Speaker 1: closet around. I flip it around every summer, and I
- 37:09Speaker 1: always stop and go through things and think what am
- 37:11Speaker 1: I really wearing and what am I not wearing. What
- 37:14Speaker 1: I constantly reach for are the lighter fabrics, the better materials,
- 37:18Speaker 1: pieces that just feel good the moment you put them on,
- 37:21Speaker 1: their effortless. That's where quints comes in. Quint focuses on
- 37:25Speaker 1: high quality essentials like amazing linen, soft organic cottons, washable silks,
- 37:32Speaker 1: but without the markup. It's that rare balance where everything
- 37:35Speaker 1: feels elevated but still easy and oh comfortable and affordable.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Everything at Quint's is priced fifty to eighty percent less
- 37:44Speaker 1: than similar brands. Quint's works directly with ethical factories and
- 37:48Speaker 1: cuts out the middlemen, so you're paying for quality and
- 37:51Speaker 1: not that brand markup. I have gotten four new quins
- 37:54Speaker 1: linen shirts for the summer. I love a button down
- 37:57Speaker 1: linden shirt with a linen short. It is my favorite
- 38:00Speaker 1: look throwing some sandals. It's elevated, but you're cool. And
- 38:05Speaker 1: I just bought a comforter for our bed at the beach.
- 38:08Speaker 1: It's gorgeous and was literally almost half the price of
- 38:12Speaker 1: what I was going to spend somewhere else. So in
- 38:14Speaker 1: addition to gorgeous clothing, Quint's has become that destination for
- 38:18Speaker 1: elevated essentials for your home, kitchen, bedding, and beyond, making

- 38:53Speaker 1: they they do this. She power walks like a maniac.
- 38:57Speaker 2: First of all, her neighborhood is beautiful, the perfect place
- 39:00Speaker 2: for a relaxing stroll.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Yeah, to talk about the houses.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it fell green, Yes, talk about I love doing that. Oh,
- 39:07Speaker 2: look at that out I love that me too. She
- 39:10Speaker 2: is put power walking first of all. If you look
- 39:13Speaker 2: at where her legs go to, they're higher than his legs.
- 39:18Speaker 2: She has crazy long legs and he's taller than her,
- 39:22Speaker 2: but like his torso makes up for it.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Her legs are longer. She's strutting.
- 39:28Speaker 2: He is literally jogging to keep up with her, because
- 39:32Speaker 2: she power walks in the most unrelaxing manner I've ever seen.
- 39:36Speaker 2: It's like she is training for the power Walking Olympics
- 39:39Speaker 2: is a real sport. And they do that that funny
- 39:44Speaker 2: walk with their feet like this, heel toe, heel toe.
- 39:48Speaker 1: There used to be a lady that power walked along
- 39:50Speaker 1: the GW Parkway. There's a walking path and we have
- 39:53Speaker 1: a drive and I would always have a wreck every
- 39:54Speaker 1: time one. I have on too the picture of her
- 39:57Speaker 1: to ask around see if anybody knew her, and they did,
- 40:00Speaker 1: because I was like, she has to be somebody we know,
- 40:02Speaker 1: right because she she looks like she just looks like
- 40:05Speaker 1: she would be somebody. She's about my age, and my
- 40:08Speaker 1: friend Alyssa didn't know her. The reason I had to
- 40:10Speaker 1: take a picture with her was not only was she powerwalking,
- 40:14Speaker 1: but she was doing it like George Jefferson from the
- 40:16Speaker 1: Jefferson's like moving on up, oh, but like arms to
- 40:22Speaker 1: the back, like her arms would be behind her swinging
- 40:27Speaker 1: like she was strutting, but she was power walking. It
- 40:29Speaker 1: was the craziest thing. And I would see her almost
- 40:32Speaker 1: every day when I was taking the kids to preschool
- 40:34Speaker 1: or whatnot. I'd be like, what kids look and they'd
- 40:39Speaker 1: be like, there she is. There's a crazy lady. And
- 40:41Speaker 1: then I started getting worried, like what if she lives
- 40:42Speaker 1: in my new neighborhood because it was right when I
- 40:44Speaker 1: moved over there. And I did finally find out who
- 40:47Speaker 1: she was. I was like, do y'all think she walks crazy?
- 40:49Speaker 1: They were like, oh yeah, she was doing it in
- 40:52Speaker 1: the neighborhood and now she's taking it to the parkway.
- 40:55Speaker 2: You know what's funny is my mom was a power walker,
- 40:58Speaker 2: and I was thinking, like, where we live thing in
- 41:00Speaker 2: Virginia at that time, could that have been my mom?
- 41:04Speaker 1: No? No, this no, this was ten to twelve years ago.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Okay, then no, we weren't.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Just imagine somebody walking like that but swinging their arms
- 41:15Speaker 1: behind side to side, like George Jefferson, it's crazy.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, okay, so and I also join YouTube so
- 41:24Speaker 2: you can see our George Jefferson impression. That's probably offensive.
- 41:28Speaker 1: So just walking, she's walks.
- 41:31Speaker 2: She's yelling at him. Pick up the pace, pick up
- 41:34Speaker 2: the pace, swing your arms, swing your arms.
- 41:37Speaker 1: I'm not joking. She's very controlling.
- 41:43Speaker 2: She's just got a tigriss first day in America. So
- 41:50Speaker 2: he says, while this neighborhood is nice and quiet, but
- 41:53Speaker 2: this is not a walk, this is a run. This
- 41:55Speaker 2: is not relaxing. And she says she loves fitness, she
- 41:58Speaker 2: loves being in shape. He's also a bar instructor along
- 42:02Speaker 2: with Kleinfeld's executive and she says, I love this is
- 42:07Speaker 2: like what I live for. And he says, you have
- 42:10Speaker 2: this crazy energy and power like I sometimes a wonder
- 42:13Speaker 2: are you woman?
- 42:13Speaker 1: Are you man?
- 42:14Speaker 2: And she's like, like a woman can't. He's strong and
- 42:16Speaker 2: he's like, I was trying to give you a compliment.
- 42:18Speaker 2: I'm sorry, mommy, And so then he can't wait to
- 42:24Speaker 2: see the kids and she says, well, today Michael's going
- 42:27Speaker 2: to drop them off from camp, so you're going to
- 42:29Speaker 2: meet him for the first time. And that makes him
- 42:32Speaker 2: black behind and she's like, can you.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Keep up, please? And keep up?
- 42:37Speaker 2: And he's like, can we stop in the shade maybe
- 42:41Speaker 2: to rest for a second, And then she says, yeah,
- 42:46Speaker 2: I forgot. You don't like the heat. You don't like
- 42:48Speaker 2: the sun, which is weird because he's from the dr.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Maybe he just doesn't like to be in the direct
- 42:55Speaker 1: blazing sun jogging.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Jogging, yeah, you know. So he's says he doesn't want
- 43:00Speaker 2: Michael to think that he's taking their place as a dad,
- 43:04Speaker 2: like his place as a dad, and she says, well,
- 43:07Speaker 2: the kids actually are more worried about that than Michael
- 43:11Speaker 2: seems to be. And he's like, what did they say?
- 43:12Speaker 2: And she tells him they said they we already have
- 43:15Speaker 2: a dad, you know. And he says, well, you're gonna
- 43:18Speaker 2: have to help me like navigate this, and she says, well,
- 43:21Speaker 2: it'll take time to be a family, and he says,
- 43:24Speaker 2: I know, I just love the boys, you know. She
- 43:27Speaker 2: had brought them to visit him in the dr and
- 43:29Speaker 2: it went great. But he knows he's not going to
- 43:33Speaker 2: be their father, and he knows he's always really wanted kids.
- 43:37Speaker 2: And at the beginning they sort of had to have
- 43:41Speaker 2: this conversation she's done having kids, he wants kids. He
- 43:45Speaker 2: had to decide, am I going to stick with the
- 43:47Speaker 2: woman I love who busts me around like I'm a
- 43:50Speaker 2: little boy, or am I going to go off with
- 43:53Speaker 2: someone else and have kids.
- 43:54Speaker 1: And he chose her.
- 43:56Speaker 2: So he really was hoping to have this fatherly experience
- 44:00Speaker 2: with her kids to.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Make up for it. And she says, yeah, I get it.
- 44:04Speaker 2: I feel so guilty that I can't give you a
- 44:06Speaker 2: baby or I don't want to give you a baby,
- 44:08Speaker 2: and I know that raising them will be the next
- 44:12Speaker 2: best thing, and I do want to give you that experience.
- 44:15Speaker 2: It'll just take time. So this conversation with Michael has
- 44:18Speaker 2: to go, well, don't go head to head with him.
- 44:20Speaker 2: He has a temper, don't pop off if he pops off,
- 44:24Speaker 2: and she should be telling Michael this.
- 44:26Speaker 1: And yeah, Michael seems like a monster, you know.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Yeah, And Edward says, well, I don't. I'm not going
- 44:34Speaker 2: to be disrespected and you know, I'm not scared of anybody,
- 44:38Speaker 2: and she's like, okay, just be She wants him to
- 44:41Speaker 2: like put his tail between his legs and show. Let
- 44:44Speaker 2: Michael be the boss. And so later Michael drops off
- 44:49Speaker 2: the kids. Michael shakes his hand, it's all polite, and
- 44:52Speaker 2: then one of the kids says, Edward is taller than
- 44:55Speaker 2: I remembered, and Michael says, yeah, and the photos I
- 44:58Speaker 2: thought you guys were the same height you and Marissa,
- 45:01Speaker 2: And Edward interprets this as him saying I thought you
- 45:05Speaker 2: were gonna be a lot bigger that you were a lot.
- 45:07Speaker 2: You're a lot smaller than I thought.
- 45:10Speaker 1: And I think that was lost in translation, and the
- 45:12Speaker 1: kids brought it up first.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it's totally a misinter miscommunication. Then one of the kids,
- 45:18Speaker 2: but he doesn't say anything, and then one of the
- 45:21Speaker 2: kids shows Edward how he jumps on the trampoline in
- 45:23Speaker 2: the backyard and Edward does it and it's like he's
- 45:26Speaker 2: gonna kill himself. Like it looks very dangerous and should
- 45:30Speaker 2: have had him sign a waiver. Like my friends who
- 45:33Speaker 2: had trampolines when I was a kid, you just sign
- 45:35Speaker 2: a waiver if you were gonna bounce in their backyard.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Not in my day. Girl. I gotta tell you what
- 45:42Speaker 1: was his name? This kid that lived down the street. Uh,
- 45:46Speaker 1: he literally broke his arm when a trampoline twice twice.
- 45:51Speaker 1: It was just a trampoline with the springs out. There
- 45:54Speaker 1: was no enclosure, there was no paths over the springs.
- 45:57Speaker 1: He just bounced until you would fall through the springs
- 45:59Speaker 1: and grape the ship out of your leg and then
- 46:02Speaker 1: wait a couple of days till healed and go back again.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Walk it off and walk it off. He broke his
- 46:06Speaker 1: arm up.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Michael is like, Marissa, don't forget you said for the
- 46:11Speaker 2: rest of your life, through thick and thin. And if
- 46:14Speaker 2: he kills you know, if he becomes paralyzed, here, you're
- 46:18Speaker 2: stuck with him. I think it's what he was saying.
- 46:20Speaker 1: No, I thought he was saying because he was being
- 46:22Speaker 1: goofy and it's like, r it's jumping all around. I
- 46:25Speaker 1: think he was like through thick of that, like like
- 46:27Speaker 1: you're married this loser in this child. Yeah, that's what
- 46:32Speaker 1: I thought. That's what I thought he was.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Then she says, Edward, get off, you're gonna break your neck,
- 46:36Speaker 2: and and he's like, mom, She's like I said, now
- 46:40Speaker 2: now five, like four if I get to your trouble.
- 46:52Speaker 2: So I'm waiting for the countdown, So no more TV
- 46:56Speaker 2: time for you. So Michael says, he seems genuine, but
- 47:01Speaker 2: we're gonna have to have a conversation, and she leaves
- 47:05Speaker 2: them alone because she leaves them alone because it's a
- 47:08Speaker 2: show and she wants them to have this conversation. So
- 47:12Speaker 2: they're making chit chat, and then Michael says, look, I
- 47:15Speaker 2: might not have been the best husband, but I try
- 47:17Speaker 2: to be the best ex husband. And I'm a little
- 47:20Speaker 2: concerned that you guys are in the honeymoon stage and
- 47:22Speaker 2: that when you're in the house every day, you guys
- 47:25Speaker 2: might start fighting and the kids are going to feel
- 47:27Speaker 2: that tension. And I'm a fighter type person. If you
- 47:33Speaker 2: lose your temper and you're having an argument, if you
- 47:36Speaker 2: push something off the table in anger, and my kids
- 47:40Speaker 2: call me and say Edward's cussing and screaming. I'm coming
- 47:44Speaker 2: over and I'm not knocking on the door. I'm busting
- 47:47Speaker 2: it down because when it comes to my kids, I
- 47:50Speaker 2: will literally bite someone's face off. Okay, Michael, the second
- 47:55Speaker 2: time he has said that. He said that last time too.
- 47:58Speaker 2: He wants his obsession. Yes, and because we said, like
- 48:02Speaker 2: ed Mike, Michael Tyson or so he wants to go.
- 48:07Speaker 1: That's like a handibal lecter, like bite your face off.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Relax seriously, geezba.
- 48:13Speaker 1: He thought it sounded good the first time, and he
- 48:14Speaker 1: was like, on it.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to track again in case they don't
- 48:17Speaker 2: use that take the first time. I'm gonna yeah.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:20Speaker 2: So now unfortunately they've used it twice and it looks
- 48:23Speaker 2: like you have a fetish about biting people's faces off.
- 48:26Speaker 2: So Edward tells us he's trying to be big and tough,
- 48:31Speaker 2: but I can fight too. It's fine, and but he
- 48:35Speaker 2: handles it very well. He tells Michael, I want the
- 48:38Speaker 2: kids to be okay. I want her to be happy.
- 48:40Speaker 2: And I'm not an aggressive person. I mean I can be,
- 48:43Speaker 2: but not with women. With ex husbands, I can be,
- 48:47Speaker 2: but not with women. So don't worry. You don't have
- 48:49Speaker 2: to worry about that. Like, what indication has he had
- 48:52Speaker 2: that Edward has a temper? Edward seems to be like
- 48:55Speaker 2: the most gentle, pleasant, smiling person we've met so far.
- 49:00Speaker 1: And what is this example of If you slam something
- 49:03Speaker 1: down on the counter and my kids tell me that
- 49:05Speaker 1: you cussed, I'm coming over here and kicking the door down.
- 49:07Speaker 2: I feel like what Michael has done stuff like that?
- 49:09Speaker 1: Right? Yeah? I was like, and that is are you projecting? Yeah? Yeah,
- 49:14Speaker 1: specific Yeah.
- 49:15Speaker 2: So Michael says, Look now, Michael's in protective like, I'm
- 49:19Speaker 2: going to give you advice. This is going to be
- 49:22Speaker 2: tough for you. Her parents are very wealthy, and I
- 49:24Speaker 2: always felt like I wasn't good enough. Her dad would
- 49:27Speaker 2: make little comments I had just started my own business
- 49:30Speaker 2: and I wasn't wealthy, and they made me feel lower
- 49:32Speaker 2: than them. And Edward says, yeah, I am concerned about
- 49:36Speaker 2: that too, because I'm coming from nothing. And he says,
- 49:40Speaker 2: I'm worried how they'll see me. And Michael says, but
- 49:42Speaker 2: who cares. Look, it doesn't matter what they think about you.
- 49:45Speaker 2: It only matters what she thinks about you. And she
- 49:48Speaker 2: thinks enough about you to bring you here and be
- 49:50Speaker 2: around our kids. And Edward says, thank you. I really
- 49:53Speaker 2: appreciate that. And Edward says, he tried to intimidate me,
- 49:56Speaker 2: but he also tried to give me advice, and I
- 49:58Speaker 2: appreciate that. The difference is that I know who I am,
- 50:01Speaker 2: so it doesn't matter what they say about me, and
- 50:04Speaker 2: it'll be fine.
- 50:06Speaker 1: I hope that's true. I'm like, I hope, so, yeah,
- 50:09Speaker 1: that's true.
- 50:09Speaker 2: But overall, no one threw a fists, no one bid
- 50:13Speaker 2: anyone's face off.
- 50:14Speaker 1: No, it was good. Bluebell ice cream is made in Texas,
- 50:18Speaker 1: so oh, I'm just letting you know. And what is
- 50:22Speaker 1: blue bonnet? Is that margarine is margarine? Yeah, thank Buddha
- 50:28Speaker 1: because my mother would say it's y'all. Sometimes when I
- 50:32Speaker 1: go to put on actuable makeup, when I'm leaving the
- 50:35Speaker 1: house and trying to look human, I realize I have
- 50:38Speaker 1: way too many products, and then I try some of
- 50:40Speaker 1: these products I have, and I realize these beauty products
- 50:43Speaker 1: are not made for ladies of a certain age, and
- 50:45Speaker 1: I end up looking like I put spackle on my face.
- 50:48Speaker 1: But ever since I started using Jones Road Miracle Bomb,
- 50:51Speaker 1: my routine is simplified and I don't look like I
- 50:54Speaker 1: painted my face with a spackle brush. Miracle Bomb has
- 50:58Speaker 1: replaced several steps for me because you can use it
- 51:00Speaker 1: as a highlighter, a bronzer, a blush, and a lip tint.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I keep my little pot a Miracle Bomb right next
- 51:06Speaker 1: to me when I'm recording because sometimes I need a
- 51:08Speaker 1: little bit of color on my cheeks and definitely on
- 51:10Speaker 1: my lips. And I want to tell you about Jones
- 51:13Speaker 1: Road's new product that you also need to try, and
- 51:16Speaker 1: it's the foundation Stick. There are sometimes when you need
- 51:19Speaker 1: a little more coverage, like are you going out for
- 51:21Speaker 1: a date night? Are you going out for a girls' night?
- 51:24Speaker 1: But you also don't want to go back to that full,
- 51:26Speaker 1: complicated makeup routine. So it's a foundation stick that even
- 51:30Speaker 1: foundation stick skeptics will love. It delivers buildable, real coverage
- 51:35Speaker 1: while feeling completely weightless on your skin, which is what
- 51:38Speaker 1: I need. I cannot stand feeling like I have a
- 51:40Speaker 1: layer of something on my face. The foundation stick gives
- 51:44Speaker 1: you medium to full coverage without ever looking caked on.
- 51:48Speaker 1: It's dermatologists tested and packed with skin loving ingredients like
- 51:51Speaker 1: seramides to nourish while you wear it, and the finish

- 52:38Speaker 1: Asha and Maxwell. So her friend Brianna comes over. Rihanna
- 52:45Speaker 1: wants to be a star, and I gotta say she's
- 52:48Speaker 1: more entertaining the nation she is, and she has a look.
- 52:52Speaker 1: She has a look that really pops.
- 52:53Speaker 2: She has a signature EE wear and a signature haircuts.
- 52:59Speaker 2: I'm gonna remember her or even if we never see
- 53:01Speaker 2: her again for the rest of the season.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Yeah, she made an impression. So Brihanna comes over because
- 53:05Speaker 1: she's going to drive them to the airport and She's like,
- 53:08Speaker 1: how long has Ben since you've seen him? And she
- 53:10Speaker 1: says eight months. And Brianna pulls a what we call
- 53:14Speaker 1: a love after lock up phraise or she goes, are
- 53:16Speaker 1: you excited to see my man, my man, my man?
- 53:19Speaker 2: Which is all I can hear is you and Keisha.
- 53:22Speaker 2: Whenever I hear that phrase, even if I hear my man,
- 53:26Speaker 2: I pick I insert you to doing the next two
- 53:29Speaker 2: of them.
- 53:30Speaker 1: That's what they always say on the show. That is
- 53:32Speaker 1: my man, my Man, my man Man. So she says,
- 53:35Speaker 1: could you come back a married lady? And she says maybe,
- 53:40Speaker 1: Like we've got to get there and we really have
- 53:41Speaker 1: to talk through all our options. And Brihanna says, now,
- 53:44Speaker 1: what was the reason they denied that visa? And she says, well,
- 53:48Speaker 1: they said it was fraud. And she's like, girl, girl,
- 53:52Speaker 1: and she's like, this is not the energy I need
- 53:54Speaker 1: now and the talking to have. Brihanna says. Rihanna goes,
- 53:59Speaker 1: hold on, girl, you gonna go where and do what
- 54:01Speaker 1: with who?
- 54:02Speaker 2: Uh?
- 54:03Speaker 1: Uh Asha barely knows this man, and uh this seems
- 54:07Speaker 1: like a rush decision. And I wish they could get
- 54:09Speaker 1: the K one so she would have some time to
- 54:12Speaker 1: think it through.
- 54:13Speaker 2: The problem is, Brianna, is that you don't seem to
- 54:17Speaker 2: realize that Asha is one of the chosen ones and
- 54:21Speaker 2: God is on her side. And if you keep talking
- 54:24Speaker 2: like this and being a negative Nancy, You're gonna get
- 54:27Speaker 2: smited down. You're gonna get smoated.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Smote, smoked, smoked.
- 54:33Speaker 2: God smote this with both hands, and he will smothe you.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Asia says, listen, if the government knows something I don't,
- 54:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna get to it one way or another. And
- 54:45Speaker 1: it'd better not be fraud. So in the car and
- 54:50Speaker 1: she says, I'm in this for the long haul. I
- 54:52Speaker 1: will not be calling it quits no matter how long
- 54:54Speaker 1: it takes. It could take years, I don't care. And
- 54:56Speaker 1: the mom actually says, you know what, if you really
- 54:58Speaker 1: think this is your person, I I agree. Brihann has
- 55:01Speaker 1: like you agree, and.
- 55:03Speaker 2: She now she really likes math. This has to what
- 55:08Speaker 2: has Asia dated in her past that makes the mom
- 55:11Speaker 2: okay with this?
- 55:13Speaker 1: Right?
- 55:13Speaker 2: What kind of losers has she dated? Or poor people?
- 55:17Speaker 2: What poors has she been hanging out with that The
- 55:20Speaker 2: mom is like, okay, Maxwell, sure, well she.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Doesn't know that can be her nine project. Yeah, So
- 55:29Speaker 1: in the car they're in the car, Mom agrees and
- 55:33Speaker 1: in the talking head, Juliette is the mom. She says, listen,
- 55:36Speaker 1: we get on each other's nerves, be in Asia, but
- 55:38Speaker 1: we are very close, and I'm really praying it all
- 55:41Speaker 1: works out for the best. Not like Asha praise. I'm
- 55:44Speaker 1: not that kind of a prayer.
- 55:45Speaker 2: But now she's she's a little over the top with
- 55:48Speaker 2: the praying constantly. That's why she wants Maxwell to come.
- 55:53Speaker 2: She's like, I'm her project right now. She thinks I
- 55:56Speaker 2: sin because I don't pray all the time. In talking tongues,
- 55:58Speaker 2: Maxwell can be her her little Kendall.
- 56:02Speaker 1: I don't feel like Rihanna goes to the church. I
- 56:04Speaker 1: don't think Rihanna goes to that church. She knows he're
- 56:06Speaker 1: from the neighborhood or school or something.
- 56:07Speaker 2: We still don't know, like what Asia's job is at
- 56:12Speaker 2: the church, Like if you work for the church.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Whatever she's doing.
- 56:15Speaker 2: The house is big, the business is good business.
- 56:21Speaker 1: It's her mom's house, right, so the.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Mom maybe does well and Asha just I don't. I
- 56:27Speaker 2: don't still have to understand if she's a preacher there
- 56:30Speaker 2: or what.
- 56:31Speaker 1: No idea. So they're at the airport, they've gone oh God.
- 56:37Speaker 1: So they've gone through the first airport and they're in
- 56:39Speaker 1: the elevator and should starts singing about Jesus, and Juliette
- 56:44Speaker 1: starts singing about how she's hungry, adorable, harmonize food. Yeah,
- 56:52Speaker 1: and then talking to it, she says, my mom is annoying.
- 56:54Speaker 1: She complains a lot, but I'm glad she's with me.
- 56:57Speaker 1: And they get on the airplane and Juliette, you know,
- 57:01Speaker 1: puts her little head on the with her pillow on
- 57:03Speaker 1: the window, and she goes, where are we going? Mom?
- 57:06Speaker 1: She was just wipe me up when they're snacks. Don't
- 57:10Speaker 1: talk to me. Quit quit telling me.
- 57:12Speaker 2: The mom has a parasite because she's always I love it.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I wonder how long that flight was though, because they
- 57:20Speaker 1: went from San Francisco to Lagos, so they went from
- 57:25Speaker 1: Alabama to San Francis. That's a long day or two days.
- 57:29Speaker 1: So now we're in Logos and we meet Maxwell. Hello.
- 57:33Speaker 1: His family has a very nice house. I was shocked
- 57:37Speaker 1: he's not after her for her money.
- 57:39Speaker 2: This is not the I had forgotten that Lagos is
- 57:43Speaker 2: quite advanced there. It's not the dirt roads and like
- 57:48Speaker 2: things that we normally see from Nigeria would go there
- 57:52Speaker 2: on this show.
- 57:52Speaker 3: It was very nice, very nice.
- 57:58Speaker 1: So and then talking, Maxwell tells us the first time
- 58:01Speaker 1: I saw Asha, she said, you look good, but you
- 58:04Speaker 1: look too skinny. I mean she can be pushy. She
- 58:08Speaker 1: feels there is always an option around things, like even
- 58:11Speaker 1: if I fall asleep. She takes a picture of my
- 58:13Speaker 1: bald spots and oh my god, people see it.
- 58:18Speaker 2: A power point presentation. Is she pointing out like arrows?
- 58:22Speaker 2: She drawing arrows on the screen.
- 58:25Speaker 1: People see it as she is bossy and a queen.
- 58:28Speaker 1: But I say, every queen has a king. So he
- 58:32Speaker 1: goes downstairs to talk to his parents. So he calls
- 58:34Speaker 1: Daddy and Mommy, which is cute. Clement and Maria, these
- 58:37Speaker 1: are his parents.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Normally don't like that, but I'll allow it here.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Allow it a lovely home. The parents were very nice.
- 58:45Speaker 1: His mom gives them two sets of flowers since there's
- 58:48Speaker 1: going to be two women there, which is great manners.
- 58:51Speaker 1: And in the car, he says, when Asia is around me,
- 58:54Speaker 1: she doesn't mention my looks, but she waits until she
- 58:56Speaker 1: gets back to the US. And sometimes it's taxing. Do this,
- 59:01Speaker 1: join the gym, go to the spa, But I do
- 59:04Speaker 1: it all to keep her attractive. And he says for
- 59:08Speaker 1: the for the k one reapplying, nothing is guaranteed for
- 59:11Speaker 1: the spousal visa, and nothing is guaranteed if we even
- 59:14Speaker 1: get married. Still, nothing is guaranteed. And I'm just happy
- 59:17Speaker 1: to see her. But I'm very.
- 59:18Speaker 2: Nervous because every time it's like it's a what do
- 59:23Speaker 2: I weigh down to the ounce? Is she going to
- 59:25Speaker 2: comment on this new pimple on my chin?
- 59:28Speaker 1: Is?
- 59:28Speaker 2: How would she feel about the pimple on Kimberly's chin
- 59:31Speaker 2: right now?
- 59:33Speaker 1: She would be upset at it. She would be upset
- 59:35Speaker 1: and say, you should have gotten a chemical peel and
- 59:37Speaker 1: this wouldn't have happened.
- 59:40Speaker 2: So she arrived the devil coming out. It's because I'm Jewish,
- 59:43Speaker 2: it's I I'm all, you're right, I'm smooth.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Smife is coming out through my chin. The demons, she
- 59:55Speaker 1: the demon pimple. So she arrives her mom in a
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: wheelchair and she comes. They they show lots of seeds.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: You can see a cameraman back here. You can see
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: people standing outside that they're obviously not letting in because
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: it seems like this would normally be a busy area.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: You could see like all the shooting of it. And
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: then she comes from an elevator from the side that
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: he's not expecting. He's looking at a different one. And
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: then she runs and jumps on him and he almost
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: drops over because she is not letting go. She is
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: doing that koala on him.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: And that's what how it you? That's a perfect description.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: It's a half. It's a koala. It's not full legs
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: around the waist, because that gives you the traction to
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: like really griff on. It's a half, like my knees
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: are going around your knees. Yeah, it's just gonna cling
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: there somehow by my arms lie down.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Because he's not so outher hand is totally full
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: of flowers. He's like, oh my gosh, she's.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Wearing tight jeans too. I feel like, so she can't
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: put her legs all the way up around his waist.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: It wasn't a good plan and jump now and he says.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: So they hug everything, and he saying, oh, so happy,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: You're so beautiful, and he says, look at me, I
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: look big, look at me, and he says, and my
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: skin looks good. My skin looks good. And she goes, okay, Okay,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: the chemical peel worked, We've still got some spots to
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: work with up here. And he goes, no, I know
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I look good. And she goes, who told you that?
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: And I was like, oh Jesus damn. They're talking it
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: together and she says, it's been eight long months, but
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I'm finally here with my baby. My man, my man,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: my man. And they asked.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Us nothing for these couples. By the way, four years years.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Yes, And he says, I think the production now has
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: picked up on this. And they're like, so, how does
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: he look? And she says, skin wise, it's a big improvement.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: We have a couple of spots and he says.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: I'm strickle them with my pen here. I'm a plastic surgeon.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Power point later mm hmm, and he goes, I don't
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: care what you say. I know I look good. And
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: he says, but the most important thing is Asha is here,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and God is going to figure out a way for us. Oh,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: he's on board. He's on board that God is only
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: blessing them.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: The problem is is that when something goes wrong in
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: your life, you think that God is unpleased with you
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: because you've done something wrong. And the problem is also
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: that when things go badly for other people, you think
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: it's because God hates them.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not great. And they get in the car
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: and as they're driving off, Julia says, I'm hungry, and
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: then she goes, oh my god, she's tiny. How she
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: eating so much?
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: I love her?
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I love her.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: I love her.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Okay, Katie and Josh Man this week with Katie and Josh,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: they're really zooming in on those red lips like she
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: she she also she has on a muted lipstick. It
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: looks so much better.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: It really does. I think that is a jarring color
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: for her, but she likes it. It is her emotional
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: support lipstick lipstick. There's listen, there's so much discord on Reddit,
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: not discord that I was going to say discord, which
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: is a different app.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Discord knows discord on Reddit.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, about her mental health, and if she's faking
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: it or not, if she's been misdiagnosed or not, if
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: she is giving people with OCD a bad name, if
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: they're if it's gross, I just have to say, people
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: are very unsympathetic and just really really I hate everyone gross.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I think she explained it very well when she said
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: she has some drinks and she gets it in her mind,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I want to kiss this person and she can't. Her
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: OCD makes it so that she can't stop thinking it.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I want to kiss that person. I want to kiss
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: that person. I want to kiss that person, which you know,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you may get drunk and think like that's first might
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: be fun to kiss, and then you would just like
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: move on and dance with your friends. But she explained it,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I think, and that once she does it, it's like
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: you have to scratch that it's you have to do it.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: And then once she does it, then she feels horrible
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: and shame and everything else. And again we say the
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: solutionist istop drinking.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: But drinking perhaps you're definitely brought up. Yeah, I don't
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: feel like she's properly. She needs to see a new doctor,
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: get a current diagnosis. She might have a lot of
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: co morbidity's going on. She needs some therapy, she needs
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: some medication because that might not be the best diagnosis
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: for her. But a bigger issue is that she is
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: masking everything with alcohol and it's only making it worse. Yeah,
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: And I think, Yeah, anyway, there's a lot of dis
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: like people are talking about, like if that's really an
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: intrusive thought, because an intrusive thought is like, generally something
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: bad will happen if I don't do X, Y and
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Z and hers I don't.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: And the way she frames it is like I want
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: to kiss that person, which is sort of a different
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: kind of thing.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: I think it's an intrusive thought because she can't stop
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: thinking it. She can't stop thinking it won't go away.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and whether that might be more of an impulsive thought.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: She struggles with impulse control, so she might be using
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: a wrong term for it. She definitely is something going on.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: I do see some facial tics and some inappropriate facial expressions.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: She sometimes will smile out of nowhere and do things
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: like that, So there's something going on. We can't diagnose
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: anyone from the TV, obviously. I think she's clearly struggling,
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: and she's bringing him down with her, and he has
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: his own stuff to deal with. It sounds like money,
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: and so you just should not be together. None of
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: the it's all bad. It's just all bad, and it's
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: sad to watch, and I think we should have sympathy,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: that's all I'm saying.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I yes, I can agree with all that.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Yes, they are packing up out of the hotel to
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: see their new apartment. She is her OCD tells her
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: she's going to forget something or something's going to be
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: wrong in the hotel room. So she's on her hands
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: and knees using her phone flashlight and she finds a quarter.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: She's also on the dirty ground that carpet on the hotel,
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: just crawling.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: What would Nassa think? Yeah, seriously, So.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Did I make Did I totally skip the part about
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Marissa and the bed?
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: How did I skip that part about making the bed? Yes?
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: She did skip it.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know how I skip that part. She
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: gives him a full tutorial on how to make that bed,
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: and it takes like full ten minutes probably, and she
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: could have made hard boiled eggs in that time. My
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: only point is she said, I don't have five five minutes.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: You clearly have five minutes to make this bed. Every
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: day she's telling him which direction the pillows go, and
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: she's like teaching him how to do it better, and
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: then he jumps on the bed and she is horrified
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: because now it's all ruined. Their work is all ruined,
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: and she says she's a control freak, and it gives
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: her peace to have things in order right. Those poor kids, though,
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: I hope she lets those kids be kids and it's
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: not like trying to control her boys. The house she
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: is spotless. Yes, there's no toys around or like anything. No,
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: that's I don't like it anyway. So back to Katie,
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: She's like, did you look on behind the bed. He's like, yeah,
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: I looked, And she's like, did you really look or
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: are you just saying you looked? And he's like, I look,
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: there's nothing. We didn't leave anything, and he's already getting annoyed.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: So they She said, some of my OCD is existential
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: and some is circumstantial. And by that I mean that
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: I I one time got drunk, shocker, and I melted
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: a brit of filter on the stove and it has
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: made me constantly in fear of starting a fire. And
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: the least shocking part of that story is that she
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: was drunk. And yeah, but I think for anybody your
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: actions you start a fire for.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Anybody, if you have a scare like that, or you
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: accidentally the stove on or something, that forever you're scared
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I'm going to do that again.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: You know, and maybe if you might consider not drinking
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: so that you are not starting fires.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: But that's yeah, yeah.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: So he's a little nervous to see the building because
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: she hasn't seen the apartment yet that they're moving into.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: And she's like, oh, I saw a video. I think
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: they sent me a video of Virtual Tour. I think
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: I watched it. Maybe I didn't, I can't remember. So
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: you're inspiring a lot of confidence. So he's like, we're
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: signing a twelve month lease and I like to be
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: very comfortable, and so this is going to be interesting.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: So they get in the car and she says, I
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: need a fart forever and he says, I am going
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: back to the UK, and she farts and she says,
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: did you smell it?
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Far?
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: Far?
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Far? And she's farting like she's talking about farting, and
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: he's like, this is too much for this early in
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: the morning. Focus on your driving. So he's a terrible
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: backseat driver because she's commenting on other people's license plates
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: and he's like, please pay attention. I'm so scared of
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: that bridge, which was he it seems like just a
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: normal bridge. So he is an anxious person as well.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: It seems like about well, she's.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Not paying attention and they're going over a bridge. He's like, please,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: for the love of God, looking at the license plates. Yeah.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: So it's going fine, though, and until.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: She ruins it by saying I asked my friend if
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: I was trying to make out with people last night,
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: and she said, you didn't make out with anybody, because
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: you did ask all of us to make out and
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: we all said no, And isn't that funny? And he's like,
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: not really, that's very disrespectful to me. And she's like, well,
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: I wasn't trying to be a cheater or kiss people
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: in a romantic way. It was just like I love you,
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: can I kiss you? And he's like, he says, it
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: bothers me when she tries to disdiminish this sort of
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: behavior and make it seem like it's not a big deal.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: And now I have to put on a happy face
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: as we're going to this apartment and she's so excited
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: to see the new apartment, and I just feel dread inside,
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: you know. He looks just like miserable, and she's like.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: We're going to the apartment, We're going to.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: It, and she's like, you're so loud, calm down, and
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: now you just only something bad. So now I can't
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: just shake it off. So they go into the apartment.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: It's an odd layout. It's like this con creet they
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: keep calling it a concrete room. Right when you walk in.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: It's sparse in there, but it looks nice. It's it's
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: white and bright, and do you think it's.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Considered a like a studio because when you first come in,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: there's an alcove that I guess is supposed to be
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: for your bed, which is odd to be right by
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: the door. And then you go a little further and
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: was that the bedroom? That's where they put the bed.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: So then that whole big open space I believe is
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: where like probably towards the window you would put a table,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: and then closer up you would do like TV couches.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Like that whole big open space is the living you're.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Basically cooking in the kitchen. I mean, you're sorry, you're
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: watching TV in the kitchen?
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Like yeah, it seems to me that that was because
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I look get a lot of New York apartments and
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: I know this is not New York, but this is
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: what it seems like. It seems like they call probably
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: like a studio one bedroom, which is like there's an alchemy.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Plus they might call it because there's the wall there kind.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Of there's a space for the bedroom to be superate,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: but to me it was odd that it was just open.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: So to me, you would like get a curtain rod
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: and hang and make it a separate bedroom, or he's
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: gonna be so dark in there too.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: They there seems to be something going on with money
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: that we're going to talk about next week. And I'm
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: very curious because they do have two incomes or he
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: I thought would have had some savings. But she doesn't
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: really have a job, does she. She kind of pet
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: sits around the world. She doesn't really have a steady income.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: So maybe that's yeah, and she's expensive. Yeah she went
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: to money. Yeah, and it's Portland's probably very expensive. So
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: but it's sparse, but the place looks really nice and clean,
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: like other than the size. So she gets on the
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: windowsill and she is waving to a man across the
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: street and says, do you think he could see me
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: if I was naked? Because she's so wacky, and then
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: she almost falls getting down off the windozil and he's
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: She's like, look, the kitchen is you wanted an open
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: kitchen and he's like, yeah, I thought it would be
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: like a falling apart, you know, decrepit place. And she's like,
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: why did you think so low little of me? And
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: it's like, well, because you didn't actually see it, and
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: you signed it the morning he came to America when
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: you didn't.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: That's the table for smiling oddly, uh huh, he says.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: She says, I can't believe he thought so little of
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: me that I wouldn't get a nice flight, and then
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: she's like a big smile. You're like, okay, that wasn't Yeah, okay.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: So then there's a washer dryer and he says, this
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: is huge. I could get into side this and she says,
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: that's one of my biggest fears is being washed in
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: the washing machine until I'm dead. And I can relate
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: because into that Punky Brewster episode with the refrigerator scared
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: a whole generation. Yeah.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: So uh, she says.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: Josh and and she have differed morals about comfort and money,
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: and so she would rather go without and be very
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: uncomfortable and save money, but he prioritizes being comfortable even
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: if it costs a little more money, and so, for example,
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: she knew they would be tired, so she hired movers
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: and that goes against her nature. But really the real
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: reason is she doesn't want him to see her.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Storage unit.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: She says, it's been three years since I've been in there,
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: and it's really gross. I can't imagine how smelly that is,
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: because she there was like food in some of those
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: bins that've been there for three years.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: So then he sees the bed, which is by that
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: I mean a mattress, and I mean there's a frame.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: There's a frame.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a frame. It's not like on the floor.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: It's a twin mattress, which in England they would call
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: a single, which because it's for one person single. But
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: to him, when she called it a twin, he thought
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: it fits two people because.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: That would make sense in yes, yes, makes sense, makes sense.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: We don't do things that make sense here, right the
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: feet and inches just so, he says, this mattress is
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: a biohazard. It smells and there's hair on it and stains,
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: and she says, so it's not like I sleep in dirt,
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: and they're laughing hysterically, but he actually does think she
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: sleeps in dirt like pig Pen from Peanuts.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yep. It was gross. It was really gross. And
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: I understands you're going to put a mattress cover on
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: it and sheets and all that, but it should have
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: been like, this is what we have for tonight, but
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: tomorrow we're gonna go by. We're going yeah yeah.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: So then she shows him a box that says not
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: safe for work, and it is filled with a dildo
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: called Revolver two. So it's an upgrade from the original
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Revolver and it has faster processing speeds and longer battery life,
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: I guess. So he's like, yeah, you've mentioned, you've mentioned
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: that it's like Greta and Matthew, and she's like, let's
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: bang it out. And he's like, Greta, I'm not comfortable
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: with this with the Revolver two. I prefer the Revolver
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: one because I'm frightened of Revolver two.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: And you don't understand what was going on with this
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: thing is she kind of explained it, and I was like.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: She goes, do you want me to show you how
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: it works? And he's like, no, not really, and she's like,
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: well this part bleep, and then this part goes bleep
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: and he's like, okay, I don't like it, and he goes,
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: I don't think this is really my thing, and she's like, oh, well,
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: it's got I even if we use it, I need
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: to make a DIY belt because it's kind of broken here,
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: it's old. So she's like, gonna patch it up di
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: I y sort of thing. And he says, because it's used,
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: because you've used this before, that's lovely okay, And she
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: says charming. And he says I thought you've washed it
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: and she says I did, and he says, well, there's
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: a smudge there and there's fur all over it.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no.
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: Which I feel like, I hope he meant like dust.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: But it's grost. It's too and she says I boiled it.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: She boiled it.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Isn't it. You can't boil it doesn't have.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: A battery yet it Yeah, I don't.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: You can't.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: Just just I don't know.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Move on, move on. I was studying that thing, like,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: I was like, what that goes where?
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: And tells what No, okay, it's no, and he's so
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: uncomfortable and she gets a kick out of like pushing
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: it further and further.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Yeah, like you do right here?
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: Yeah in this podcast. Sorry, sorry, So they I am Katie,
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: Katie is me. So they get into the twin bed,
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: which looks so uncomfortable, like they can't even roll over.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: It is also she looks so greasy and dirty. They
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: have just moved. No one has showered his hair is
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: like Christopher Lloyd and Back to the Future. It's like
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: Doc mcbrown all the time, like, does no one on
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: this show shower? Like Mallory still has some showered.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: No, we're getting to her next note.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: Only seems to shower.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: Edward, Yeah, he showered. Well she you think she's letting
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: him get in that bed with the fifteen pillows? She
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: probably scrubbed him like Shay.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: So he tells us he's feeling very uneasy, becau because
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: he came here, he left his whole life and his
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: loved ones. And she's still doing this kissing all of
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: her friends thing. And then they as they're trying to sleep,
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: they hear this beeping noise and she says, did you
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: figure out what that beeping noise is? And he's like,
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: do you want me to tell you? You're not gonna
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: like it? It's the garage door of the apartment complex.
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: So anytime someone drives into the garage, it is making
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: this beeping that they can hear in their apartment, like
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: a smoke detector is going off.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it must be right under them or right across
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: the street. They're gonna need a white noise machine. Yes,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: that's what I was like, get a white noise machine
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: immediately and put it in every room.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like, maybe we'll get used to it. These
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: are the sort of things that you won't know just
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: by watching a virtual tour.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Right and if yeah, if you went on yeah, you
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: wouldn't noticed. No wonder if there doom it was available
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: the next day. Yeah, Okay, let's end it with Mallory
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: and Ross sheet. Now, I do want to say that
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: I did get a note from a listener that that
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: we need to be aware and I am aware that
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: all people, all Southerners, are not redneck racists. Okay, I'm
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: from I believe. I said that I was in Mississippi
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: last weekend. Nobody was red neck or racist while I
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: was there. So I'm from Mississippi, guys, So when I
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: joke about this stuff, what they're doing here also by
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: having this party is sort of poking fun at what
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: people say think of them. Yes, like we saw michaela.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: She doesn't dress like that and act like that. They're
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: poking fun of the stereo type. And I think that
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: on this particular episode with Mallory and rash that we
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: are really more firm in our belief that she is
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: going to really really stick up for him, because I
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: think before it was sort of like, oh gosh, I
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: hope she doesn't let any of these people talk bad
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: about him. So I feel a lot better about the
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: whole situation.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: After this episode, I am more hopeful because before she
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: had said things like my friends think this, and my
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: friends are really into the deep rotations and my friends,
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: you know, But she never said that she was still
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: for She's made it sound like she was still friends
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: with these people and like co signing their behavior, and
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: it sounds like she's less So no, I really I
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: made a joke last week about hating black people, and
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: I was just joking, but I understand that my humor
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: sometimes can rub people the wrong way. And Mary Payne
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: corrected me and said, I am from the South, and
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: I said, and I wanted to add I was born
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: in Virginia.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: And not really the South. Sorry kind of. I'm sorry.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: I'm sorry we can't find about this all day. But
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: this is like deep South, I think, is different than
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: deep South South.
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: Yes, no, it was more based on comments she had made.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: I probably wouldn't have thought about this. If she would,
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: she hadn't made comments that her friends and family thought
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: this way.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Yeah, or maybe I would have.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: But anyway, apologies to that, listener, and I will try
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: to be more careful.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean same, because I am definitely like making
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: fun of their accents and everything, but I mean, honest
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: to God, like these are my people. Like this is
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: like Athens, Alabama, is no different than.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: And listen, everyone seemed really nice. This party looked like
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: so much fun.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: So Mallory and rashid Okay, So Brandon comes over to
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: get his doctor. Now I do think Brandon might be
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: a problem, but this also could be a Matt Sharp
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: fake out and we may end up really liking him
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: a lot totally. Brandon comes over to get his dog camera,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: like you pointed out last week, probably not necessary, but
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: it's for the story. And Rash and Mallory are just
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: so greasy.
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: And in bed laying in bed, take a shower. But
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: I felt like Marissa at that because.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: Like even Rash had like he had like something in
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: his hair. I was like, whatever, whatever that dirt is,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: pick it out. Don't let him on Gamera. He's a
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: dirt in his hair. I'm telling you. She is a brunette. Now,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Like that's how greasy she is. He meats Brandon does.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: He's like, there's the man of that are right there, like,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: good to meet you. And I think he's very nice,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: polite and friendly and everything. And in the talking Head,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Rash goes in Turkey, we are not friends with the ex.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: Fuck Brandy just I'm just gonna call him Brandy from
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: now on because I think it's so funny that he
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: calls him Brandy.
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: They say, Brandy, you're a fine eggs.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: So Brandon tells them, well, listen, redneck you could be
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: no remember.
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: Red egg they're having a redneck party.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: They are, and she said her friends are rednecks. Yeah,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: So Brandon says, tomorrow there's gonna be a party. It's
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: gonna be a real Alabama welcome. Make sure you're hydrated,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: and he's like what, she goes water, We're gonna drink
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: a lot of water and in the top. Excuse me,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: something just got my throat, talking head, Brandon says, meeting him,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: I felt like there was tension on his side. And
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: tomorrow we're gonna show him life in the South, and
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: he better not show any disrespect because that's one thing
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: I don't tolerate is disrespect. Okay, Brandy, take it down
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: a notch.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: But Britt, he's right. Rush, she was not rude. He
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: was rude, and he's being cold, and I didn't like that.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: I love so far, We loved him so far. Like
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: he's given Brandon nothing.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, he's jealous so than Brandon. Oh my god.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: So they get in bed and all the dogs get
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: in the bed, which is funny, and he's like, oh
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: my god, what is it. She goes, this is what
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: I've had to deal with. I was like, girl, you
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: got two new dogs right before he came. You could
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: have just been dealing with too God. And he goes, Okay,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: get out, get out, get out. He chases them out
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: into the hall and then he grabs a little one
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: froze about the she she thinks it's hilarious and talking
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: to it together, he says, God, say animals live outside,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: not in the home, and she goes, you don't know,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: Jesus could have had a cute little dog hanging right
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: by his feet. Well, first, ally's Muslim, so he's not
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: talking about Jesus. And he goes the animals they don't
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: stay in the room, and she goes, not gonna happen,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: and he goes, I don't think going to happen, and
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: did they last?
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: God wants you to sleep in the same bed with
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: your greasy haired fiance anyway, but you're doing that.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: So so in the bed he's talking. He says, I
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: want to talk to you about this. I don't like
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: the guy. What's his name he's forgotten all of a sudden, yeah,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: and she says Brandon. He goes Brandy. He says, when
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: he came over, Brandy, it made my hair stand up.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: And that's when he touched his greasy hair and I
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: was like, girl, take that piece of dirt out of
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: his hair. Got dirt in his hair. She's dirty too,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: so she doesn't notice. And he says, so this is
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: my house, your house. He cannot call you. She's like
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: what and he goes, all, man, call me to talk
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: to you, because I am husband to you. She goes no,
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: and she goes, also, I'm too tired. We have to
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: talk about this tomorrow. We've got to get some sleep,
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: and I know you're tired. And he says, tomorrow I
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: will speak with Brandy and do my line with him,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: like draw my boundary. And she goes, okay, fine, and
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: he goes, man, must call me right, yes or no,
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: and she goes no. He goes, okay, good night, like
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: I didn't win this. Okay, good night. So I'm talking
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: to her. She says, Brandon is my very good friend.
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: He was a huge part of taking care of me
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: and my dogs when I was in the hospital. He's
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: the one that called my family to say I had
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: had the car crash. So my friendship with him is
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: not going anywhere, and Rash needs to adapt. So I
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: think that she thinks that Brandon is not one of
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: these people she talked about like she does think that
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: he understands and appreciates her future husband and is not
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: doesn't have these preconceived notions about him, And then Rash
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: is acting rude to him. So again, I hope this
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: is a mature effic out and that.
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: They yeah get to be and I think they just
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: need some nice rules. Some like compromise, but neither one
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: seems to be willing to compromise.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: It's been one day, it's been one day. Yeah. So
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: now a song comes on to guide us into the
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: next sequence, which is ride a pickup truck to the
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: county line and the beer in the back colt for
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: forty five four will drive raise it up to the
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: sky because the bigger the truck, the sweeter the rad Oh,
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: you're welcome. So they're getting ready to go get some coffee, okay,
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: when they're sitting in the bed. She's sitting in the
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: bed talking to him in the bathroom, which it doesn't
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: appear that they've still taken a shower. Do you know
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: what I saw on the side table? What a TJ
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: Max receipt? She's a Maxista, courteous look at that. How
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: did you notice that? Because there was a white person
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: sitting there and I was thinking, like, that's weird to
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: be on your bedside table, and then there's a huge
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: TJ Max. You could tell what it is? I mean, yeah, yeah, Maxidista.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: It's so funny.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: So they go downtown. There's nobody there, and it's a
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: cute it's a very cute little town zombie apocalypse.
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like there's but before the zombies have come.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: It's like and maybe it's sun Day and you know,
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: nobody's out Sunday till after church, so you give you
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: that there's nobody there. It's raining, and she's like, nobody
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: goes outside when it's raining. They go to a cute
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: little store and she's like, do you see this. It's
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: like a mercantile. So it's got like candies and coffees
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: and then it's almost like a cracker barrel or it's
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: got a little of everything. Yeah, yeah, yeah, And he's like,
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: what is that. It's an animal? It's a picture. He
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: takes a picture. It's like a deerhead or something. I
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: was like, save your camera roll. You're going to see
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: a million more of those. So what if you went
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: to Shay's house. He's like, there's one in every corner,
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: standing every corner north, south, the east, west, so they're
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: getting some food whatever. He goes, I don't see any
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: redneck people, and she goes, don't worry, you'll see some tonight.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: And she says there might be people there that have
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: said not nice things and I want to tell you
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: this so you're prepared, because I love you and I
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: respect you, and so I want to tell you. I've
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: told Mikayla to not invite these people. And he says, okay,
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: but what things are they saying? And she goes, well,
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: they say bad things because you come from a Muslim country,
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: and they judge and they say things like you're a terrorist.
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: And she says, and this really upsets me because I
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: know you and your family is so beautiful and they
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: have been so welcoming and so lovely to me before
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: they even really knew me. And of course your country
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: is so nice, and it really hurts me because people
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: are just human beings, and it hurts me when people
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: they say things like that. And she says, people who
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: think like that are not my friends, and I will
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: not associate with someone who thinks and thoughts like that,
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: and she starts crying, which I appreciated.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: I mean I did too, but it's sort of like,
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: it's not about you, it's about him.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: I know, but I think that that She's like, it
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: hurts my feelings to think that somebody would say that
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: about somebody that I love.
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, I can't see that.
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's also probably nervous that somebody's gonna say
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: something to happen. Yeah.
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: Now, if she told her friend don't invite these people
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: and the friended anyway, that would be a problem. Yeah,
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: and I liked that friend. But maybe they'll show up anyway.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: She said she told Mikhaila to uninvite them. Uninvite them.
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: I hope they don't show up anyway, cause the trouble
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: so hitchworks or something.
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: And then talking Eddie says, American people judge all Muslim people.
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: Muslim has bad people, and so does Christian that's true.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: And he says, these people.
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: Have Jews, though we're perfect.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: No, the Jews have got some bad people too, I know,
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: trust me.
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: Yeah, rhymes with Schmepstein.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: I think you could just say Jeffrey Epstein was a
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: bad Jewish person. I think that's all right. Whether he's
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: alive or dead, it's still true. He says. These people
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: that think like that have a small mind. And he's worried,
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: and I would be worried too. So in the talking
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: head she says, I just worried somebody would say something
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: cruel and rude to him. And I don't care what
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: they think, but he would care. He doesn't want people
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: to judge him. And then she says, the last thing
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: I will tolerate is some ignorant, backwoods, uneducated motherfucker saying
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: some silly ass shit do my future husband. And I
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: don't know, I would put a motherfucker in the face.
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: I was like, goat this energy we need, that's what
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: we want to see him, that's what we need.
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, So on the way to the party's, he's like,
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: everything here is so green and so beautiful. She goes, yeah,
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: everywhere you go you see cows. He's like what. He
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: rolls down the window and gets so excited, starts mooing
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: at the cows.
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: I that's what I do, except I go, hi, peepy,
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: so no, my peep.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: We dave one time and I went on a road trip.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: I think we were driving from DC to Atlanta, and
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: I think it was right after nine to eleven, and
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: we couldn't fly to our friend's weddings, so we were driving,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: and I think that's where we started the whole cows,
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: like every time we see cow, cows. And then one
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: time we saw a cow laying down and we were like,
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: cow laying down uh oh. So then we started noticing
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: cows running weird, so I felt cows liked you see
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: cows for everywhere you go. You're like that cow was
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: running and that's strange. Wow. Normally they just stand. So
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: they arrived to the party.
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: And rdio and it's powerwalking, Like Marissa.
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: We were scared of something was chasing it. So they
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: arrived to the party and it's a white trash bash.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: It's a themed party. So I was glad that it
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: was a theme party and this wasn't actually you know,
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: I'm glad that there I find it. They're making fun
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: of themselves, which I like.
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's hilarious. I love a theme party.
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: And she walks up with him. They all change U
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: s A U s A and she's laughing and they
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: make him say roll Tide over and over, which I
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: didn't like as an old miss fan. But they are
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: in Alabama, so that's their that's their thing.
- 1:34:13Speaker 2: Also, he has no idea what he's saying.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: He doesn't know what roletide means.
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: It's the Crimson Wave friends who used to teach their
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: They taught their little baby when they would say sc
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: and then the little baby would go sucks.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: Well, we teach our children haughty satti, so you know,
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: so they're making him say roll tide. And I just said,
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: there's some people of color at this party. That made
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: me feel better. I screamed black person, and yes, well
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: it made me I'm not as cultured as you are. Yeah,
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: well it made me feel better that they have friends
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: of all races. So mm hmm, and I do think so.
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: The buddy named Ryan r y N, which is new
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: Wren Ryan Wren Brian. He says he has on like
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: overalls and he has like tattoos. He has one of
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: the overalls thing, you know, snaps undone and.
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: Your shirt under your shirt.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: And he goes, this is a theme party, white trash bash.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: It's just a poke, fun of what you might think
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: of a typical Southerner like. And I was like, okay,
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: they're in on the joke. I like it. So they
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: go inside. Mikayla has brought him a mullet bandana hat
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: and it's funny and so he likes it. He puts
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: it on his like little into it. He's into it. Yeah,
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: he's into a theme party.
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: He has a good sense of humor. He's very funny.
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: He's into it, so he it's talking to it together.
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: He goes, I go to this party, I am shocked, farmer,
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: pant hat hair beard and uh fat fat not fat fat,
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: And she goes beer bellies and he goes, yes, the
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: beer belly. So she comes out with the beer. Oh god,
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: beer can roller in her hair, yeah, which was just hilarious.
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: She's like that took some thinking. She's got on a
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: tank top, leperprint, leggies, cowboy boots. He's in a stupid
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: black T shirt that says, ain't nothing illegal if you
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: don't get caught, and jeans and the mullet hat. It's funny.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: So someone says, he looks like, oh and Randy Savage.
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: Randy Savage, Yeah, yeah, yeah, and he kind of does.
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: They did a side by side and I was like,
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: oh that actually, yeah, it's good.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: They even have like decorations up there, like strung beer
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: cans and yeah, they've made.
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: Lots of puns and play on words.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: Yes, they did have like Dale Junior Forever, you know
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: the car. Yeah, so they shot gun beers. He's all
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: excited to try that. Then he makes it everybody try
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: that milky drink that she hates, and he's like oh,
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: everyone's gonna try my drink because he's wrought it and
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: they taste it and they're like no, they say it
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: tastes like licorice scrobs. Brandon walks up and goes, no,
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: we're gonna do American whiskey, and they're all taking shots
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: of Jim beeB and he's just rolling with it. He's
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: just like, okay, okay, whatever you give me, I'll take
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: and she's just like do it. So they're having a
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: good time.
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but he goes, it's just normal whiskey, like he
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: wasn't impressed, and because.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: He said it's American whiskey, and he says, it's just whiskey.
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's not.
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: He doesn't learn.
- 1:37:39Speaker 2: He hates Brandon, and it's being very obvious.
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: Brandon is trying. Yeah, Brandon banged his girl and he
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: doesn't like that. I know, but and you know, he's good.
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: I'm hoping these two are going to talk and squash
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: the beef. So in the talking head, Ros says, I
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: don't know why he is here. I hate Brandy. It's
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: weird for me. I don't like So Rash goes over
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: to talk to him, and I noticed when Rash went
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: over to talk to him. Brandon did this and pointed
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: to his tailgate. No, he shuck.
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: He put out his hand to shake it, and Rash
- 1:38:22Speaker 2: didn't shake his hand.
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: Oh see, I saw him doing this towards the tailgate,
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: which I don't know if he was like pointing at
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: his cooler, like you can have one of my drinks,
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: but it looked to me like he was doing like sit.
- 1:38:34Speaker 2: Oh, it looked to me like he was doing a handshake.
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: And then Brandon or Rash did not shake Brandon's hand. Interesting, well, look,
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: if it's true what you're saying, then he has no
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: leg to stand on. Right for the next part.
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: So Rash jumps up and sits on his tailgate, and
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: Rash says, I don't want to be and Brandon goes
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: an asshole, and Ras says, m I have a problem
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: with you. And so in the talking head, Brandon says,
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: the prime thing of insulting a man in the South
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: is to sit on a man's tailgate uninvited. It's all
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: down here. I've never heard of this. Doesn't mean it's
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: not true. I just thought it was an odd thing
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: to get mad about.
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he would have had no way of
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: knowing that. No, I didn't even know it down here.
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: I've never heard that. That's not a common thing to know.
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: Maybe he says it's disrespectful down here, and I think
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: he did it to show a sign of dominance. And
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: I'm not the person to do that too, because I
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: choose violence any day. Oh god, wow, that ended badly
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: for a man to say I choose violence.
- 1:39:52Speaker 2: And then he's spits on the ground in like a
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: kind of like an f you kind of way, like.
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: Yeah, scared enough for a fight. I'm hoping that these two,
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: I'm hoping that Rash is going to say I have
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: a problem with you because you have had sex with
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: my woman. Yeah, and I think Brandon, hopefully we'll explain
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: we're literally just friends. That was five years ago. I
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: consider her a close friend. I love her, I love
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: her dogs, I love her family. I have a very
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: serious girlfriend. I'm about to get engaged too, or so.
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: I hope they're gonna right right right right now. Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: that's what I hope's gonna happen. I don't want these
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: two to not get along.
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: What a lot of these dudes are missing is I
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: think the prime way to bond is by making fun
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: of the ladies' idiosyncrasies. And I really feel that Michael
- 1:40:40Speaker 2: and Edward could have had a little bonding moment if
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: Edward had said, dude, she's crazy about the bed, the bed,
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: did you have to make the bed? She gave me
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: a fifteen minute tutorial on how to make the bed,
- 1:40:53Speaker 2: and brand would be like, I know, dude, is just
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: be just the shoes off? Are the big ones? This
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: one you can get away with a little bit more LENI. Yes,
- 1:41:03Speaker 2: she is not as strict about this one. They could
- 1:41:06Speaker 2: have totally bonded. And I think Mallory she seems nice,
- 1:41:12Speaker 2: but dude, why is her hair always so greasy? I know, dude,
- 1:41:16Speaker 2: why she never showers?
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: Man? Four dogs in the bed? Four dogs in the
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: beds in the bed.
- 1:41:21Speaker 2: I know it's crazy, but she's a nice gal.
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: Okay, next time on Marissa's Boys, get Edward a president.
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: It's like a fake spider. And then again she was
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: encouraging it, but she questions now in the car, she
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: says that he feels like a third kid, and he
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: just rolls his eyes so like a kid would do.
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: And Thomas gets mad at Paula and says if you
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: don't want to take me seriously, stop talking. I'm gonna leave,
- 1:41:52Speaker 1: and she goes and sits on the bouch. Also, lots
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: of people wrote us to say that Thomas is an
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: aerospace engineer, because we were like, what does he do?
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: Why can he afford to take it? Yeah? Yeah, Uh.
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: Katie tells Josh she doesn't trust him yet with money,
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: and he says, well, I've been very, very trusting with
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: you and guys, so you can have a bit of
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: trust on the finance. And in the talking head he goes,
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: it's a tiny little expense. And her argument is it's stupid,
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: but to me it's not. So maybe maybe maybe it's
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: a bed. Yeah. Annabelle is getting nails and toes done
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: with the mean daughter whose name is Nicole Nicole Saturday,
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: the mean daughter question Mark and we'll call her Nicole
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: and he says yeah, and Angie, who's the friend daughter's
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: friend and yeah. Annabel sitting there with him and says, sorry,
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: friend's daughter, friend's daughter. Hey, your dad told me last
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: month he cheated on me, And the talking ahead Nicole goes, Wow,
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: I thought I was gonna have to be the bearer
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: bad news. I've sat behind the phone and watched him
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: lie to her for years. And then Annabel says, Angie,
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: is that true? Are you having an affair with my
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: future husband? Whoa?
- 1:43:19Speaker 2: Also, why have you not said anything? Well, you've watched
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: your dad lie to her for years.
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: Does that make you think your dad's a great guy? Right? Exactly, Yeah, meeting.
- 1:43:29Speaker 2: He's paid for everything, so she does think he's a great.
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: Meto and Debbie are in your sorry Egyptian costumes, like
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: sitting in her car like they'd just been to a
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: costume party dressed as literal Egyptians.
- 1:43:41Speaker 2: And maybe her friends threw a party like a theme party.
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: Yeah, he's actually crazy in the car and he's ivitating her, going,
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: I'm just frustrated. I'm just frustrated. And then he says
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: for what and she says, you can fuck that slut
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: in Egypt, but you can't be compassionate with me. Get
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: out of the car and he says fuck. He says,
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: fuck you. You push me too far, and she says, I'm
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: done with the whole thing. He's going home.
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: Yes, Okay, I missed it. I thought she said you
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: can have patience for that fucking girl in fucking slut
- 1:44:15Speaker 2: in Egypt, but you can't have patience for me. So
- 1:44:19Speaker 2: she is outing him as a non virgin.
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: You fucked that slut in Egypt, but you can't be
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: compassionate with me.
- 1:44:27Speaker 2: Lord h Yeah.
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: And then he's so I got a lot of screenshots
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: of that too, because I'm about to make it.
- 1:44:35Speaker 2: So are they about him out already? Like, because she's
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: saying he's going home. He's going home. So if they're
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: burning out episode six.
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: M yeah, well they'll drag it out. They're gonna have
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: to add bring in a lease. Really that was good
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: because maybe they will because they are sold together. I
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: think question I know, question mark. Okay, guys, quickly, we're
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: going to talk about Kimberly's Corner, which is where we oh,
- 1:45:09Speaker 1: I forgot where we discussed what happened on ninety Day Diaries.
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: I did watch it this week, so you won't be
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: telling me completely new information. But yeah, let's do it.
- 1:45:20Speaker 1: Let's talk. Let's talk about ninety Day Diaries.
- 1:45:23Speaker 2: Okay, this is called what If She Says No? And Ashley.
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: It's Ashley in Chantelle. First, Ashley is gaming and ignoring Chantelle,
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: wearing a giant oversized sweater, one of those hoodie.
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: Sweatshirt, yess, blanket. Thanks.
- 1:45:40Speaker 2: I actually always want they look very cozy. I know
- 1:45:44Speaker 2: it would be hot.
- 1:45:46Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:45:47Speaker 2: Chantelle is stressing about what to wear for their Christmas
- 1:45:51Speaker 2: card photo, which is basically to show Chantelle's.
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: Family that they are serious.
- 1:45:57Speaker 2: She literally says, I think this Christmas card photo is
- 1:46:00Speaker 2: going to show my family that we are serious together,
- 1:46:02Speaker 2: which is exactly why you want to do a couple's
- 1:46:04Speaker 2: Christmas card photo, to show everyone in the family that
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: you're serious. And then we see her background. We see
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: her food fight with Pedro and the family, and when
- 1:46:16Speaker 2: she went to Greece and when she went on that awkward,
- 1:46:18Speaker 2: sweaty date with Rocky Hunt for Love.
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I forgot about that his chin.
- 1:46:25Speaker 2: And Ashley is very distracted as Chantelle is trying to
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: show her potential outfits because she's killing zombies or something
- 1:46:35Speaker 2: on a video game and I was like, great, Chantelle,
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: you traded Pedro for Ashley, another person who doesn't want
- 1:46:42Speaker 2: to talk to you, and we got to play video games.
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: So Ashley shows us the ring she's going to propose
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: to Chantelle.
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: She's nervous.
- 1:46:51Speaker 2: She doesn't even know if Chantelle wants to get remarried
- 1:46:53Speaker 2: again after what happened with Pedro.
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: She'd have found that out before you have talked about.
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: So she's booked them this fully fake castle, but Chantelle
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: seems to think it's a real castle. She says, I
- 1:47:08Speaker 2: can't believe we have a real castle in Georgia. And
- 1:47:11Speaker 2: it's like I'm in England with a spot of tea
- 1:47:13Speaker 2: and crumpets. And I was like, girl, that is like
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: that Airbnb that what's shut? Shakaina's friend owned in Hollywood.
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: I think I found it? Is it Rhodes Hall, Rhodes
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: Rhodes Hall Avenue in Atlanta? That could be it. That
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: could be it. Although this place, Rhades Hall, actually looks
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: way nicer than where they were.
- 1:47:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it looked very decrepit, like a real castle, like yeah,
- 1:47:44Speaker 2: been through battle.
- 1:47:46Speaker 1: Yeah it didn't look as Okay, continue, I'll find it. Continue.
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: So she booked them this castle, and Ashley is like,
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: I'm sure this will be a holiday card that she
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: will never forget. She says it in front of Chantelle.
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: It's okay, I don't like Ashley, and I now it's
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: giving me.
- 1:48:11Speaker 2: No one likes Ashley. Everyone Ashley looks like River chant
- 1:48:15Speaker 2: Tell's brother. I thought that's the redded thing as people
- 1:48:18Speaker 2: do side by sides, but no one seems to like Ashley.
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: I feel like this is very fake and yeah they're
- 1:48:25Speaker 2: talking heads are so fake of like acting like they're
- 1:48:28Speaker 2: about to go do this photo shoot and she's like
- 1:48:31Speaker 2: this will be a holiday card she'll never forget.
- 1:48:35Speaker 1: Like that's so obvious.
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: You would never say that if you were actually proposing
- 1:48:38Speaker 2: to someone and tip the hat that this is gonna
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: be like a legendary.
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: It's all very staged. And I don't bring back the family,
- 1:48:47Speaker 1: Chantell unless we see more crazy Karen. Yeah.
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: Yeah, So Chantelle says, we've been together for a year
- 1:48:54Speaker 2: and we've defied all the haters who thought we wouldn't
- 1:48:57Speaker 2: make it, which is the reason I'm staying in this relationship.
- 1:49:02Speaker 2: Like why does she keep talking about stuff like that,
- 1:49:05Speaker 2: like it's gonna show my family and we've defied all that.
- 1:49:09Speaker 2: It's not like I love her, it's that we have
- 1:49:11Speaker 2: showed it. I'm sticking out out of fight to my family.
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: I'm sticking with this woman that I barely like. So
- 1:49:18Speaker 2: then she proposes it all felt very fake. Chantelle is
- 1:49:22Speaker 2: so muted in her reaction as she is in everything.
- 1:49:25Speaker 2: She always seems highly sedated.
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: She's just like, yes, yeah, baby, this is amazing. Yeah.
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: So that's it for them.
- 1:49:36Speaker 2: Uh, Corey and Evely, Corey and Evelyn.
- 1:49:39Speaker 1: I cannot what a flashback, the fact that they made
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: that shitty apartment into something so gorgeous and are now
- 1:49:49Speaker 1: leaving the leaving ocean views of every every window. It's
- 1:49:53Speaker 1: so pretty. This apartment is stunning.
- 1:49:56Speaker 2: It used to be like a normal beach side like
- 1:49:59Speaker 2: kind of down apartment, and now they have closed in
- 1:50:05Speaker 2: the outdoor kitchen but still left all the windows, so
- 1:50:08Speaker 2: it's like it's almost three sixty views of the outside,
- 1:50:14Speaker 2: including of the ocean, like it's beautiful. And his dog,
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: he says, this was my doghouse bedroom where he had
- 1:50:22Speaker 2: to sleep after he cheated, and now it's like their
- 1:50:25Speaker 2: main bedroom and it's nice. And then the dog squeaks
- 1:50:28Speaker 2: on a dog chew toy and she says, that's my toy,
- 1:50:32Speaker 2: not your toy. And it was like another sex joke,
- 1:50:35Speaker 2: sex toy joke, and I was like, oh, Mary Paine's
- 1:50:38Speaker 2: not gonna like that. It was a dog toy. It
- 1:50:41Speaker 2: was clearly a dog toy. It was shaped like an
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: ice cream cone.
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: So they show their story.
- 1:50:47Speaker 2: This was the most BS cover up I've ever seen
- 1:50:53Speaker 2: their clip package. It was great, we have had the
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: happiest life together. No mention of the cheating, the testicle
- 1:51:03Speaker 2: soup that her sister fed him.
- 1:51:05Speaker 1: And she she was cheating too, remember, because because all
- 1:51:08Speaker 1: the people on the beach would make fun of him
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: when he would walk by all them, they would interview strangers,
- 1:51:13Speaker 1: hold the back and there's the next dumb dumb that
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: she wrote. No mention of that.
- 1:51:20Speaker 2: Yeah, No, it was just happy. So they applied for
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: her US residency visa three years ago and it just
- 1:51:27Speaker 2: got approved. And they talked to a lawyer who said,
- 1:51:29Speaker 2: you need to use it, and you need to go
- 1:51:32Speaker 2: and you have to stay there for three years, but
- 1:51:35Speaker 2: you'll get to come back to Ecuador for short visits,
- 1:51:39Speaker 2: which is different than we've seen and other people, because
- 1:51:43Speaker 2: Jasmine acts like she's never been allowed to go back
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: to Panama to visit her children.
- 1:51:48Speaker 1: Story. My understanding is, and this is from somebody in
- 1:51:51Speaker 1: Dave's family who moved to Andorra, which is a little
- 1:51:55Speaker 1: country between Frances Vain. They like gave up American citizenship
- 1:51:59Speaker 1: to move to this tiny little country, and my understanding
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: was out of one year, they can total they could
- 1:52:06Speaker 1: be in the United States for three months, so ninety
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: days out of three sixty five and they could use
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: it three months out at once, or they could go
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: three times for a month, but they could of the year,
- 1:52:18Speaker 1: they're only allowed to be in the United States. So
- 1:52:20Speaker 1: I imagine if she has now gotten US citizenship that that's
- 1:52:25Speaker 1: probably the rule for three years, and then maybe after
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: that she can go back and forth if she's dual. Yeah,
- 1:52:31Speaker 1: but I know four days family members that gave up
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: their US citizenship and got Endurance citizenship, they were only
- 1:52:38Speaker 1: allowed to come back to the US three months out.
- 1:52:40Speaker 2: Of the year. Gosh. Yeah, I did learn more about
- 1:52:45Speaker 2: Clayton of Mina and Mark's situation. It's because he is
- 1:52:53Speaker 2: he was born in Paris, but she is from Angola,
- 1:52:59Speaker 2: and Gola and Angola doesn't do like generational like you're
- 1:53:07Speaker 2: automatically a citizen there if your parent was born there
- 1:53:11Speaker 2: and or France doesn't, and since he was born in
- 1:53:15Speaker 2: France it doesn't.
- 1:53:16Speaker 1: He does at automatically.
- 1:53:17Speaker 2: Yeah, so he is sort of without a nation. He
- 1:53:21Speaker 2: literally is like a ghost person. Yeah, not literally figuratively,
- 1:53:27Speaker 2: but because he doesn't have Angola citizenship, and he doesn't
- 1:53:30Speaker 2: have France citizenship because of the way the laws are
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: and Angola is banned from coming to the US with
- 1:53:39Speaker 2: current immigration things, or it's almost impossible. So that's part
- 1:53:45Speaker 2: of why Clayton is in Limbo and stuck in France.
- 1:53:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm looking at this, and that's what it says.
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: European countries like France do not recognize birthright citizenship. Without
- 1:53:57Speaker 1: that's what you're an EU citizen and parent. And so
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: she wasn't an EU citizen even though she'd lived there.
- 1:54:05Speaker 1: She was an ant goal and citizen. Confusing.
- 1:54:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so she they're going to have to go They're
- 1:54:14Speaker 2: going to Washington, and he says, you are not going
- 1:54:17Speaker 2: to need these warm weather clothes to go live in
- 1:54:20Speaker 2: Washington State And she says, well, you told me when
- 1:54:23Speaker 2: we applied for the visa that we could live in
- 1:54:26Speaker 2: Hawaii or California, somewhere where I can surf and it's
- 1:54:30Speaker 2: closer to what I grew up with. And he says,
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: I can't afford that they're discussing this like as.
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: The day before they leave.
- 1:54:38Speaker 2: Yeah, right, student, and he says, we're going to be
- 1:54:41Speaker 2: living in this studio apartment on my mom's property, like
- 1:54:45Speaker 2: we stayed in before, so it's separate from my mom's
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: and it's our own place. And she says for how long?
- 1:54:51Speaker 2: For like a month or two, and he goes less
- 1:54:53Speaker 2: than that. We're going to find our own place right away.
- 1:54:56Speaker 1: Three weeks. Yeah.
- 1:54:58Speaker 2: So then she says, I'm because his siblings don't like me.
- 1:55:02Speaker 2: They covered up my face in a family photo. Wow,
- 1:55:07Speaker 2: they are full on Mormons and they do not accept
- 1:55:11Speaker 2: me because I'm not and they never will and I'd
- 1:55:14Speaker 2: forgotten about this. So then she's crying because she doesn't
- 1:55:17Speaker 2: want to leave her family and she's going to go
- 1:55:19Speaker 2: live with people who hate her and she doesn't know
- 1:55:21Speaker 2: what she's going to do in America. And they're leaving
- 1:55:23Speaker 2: their cat and their dog. Her sister is going to
- 1:55:26Speaker 2: live in the apartment to take care of them. So
- 1:55:28Speaker 2: they're keeping the apartment at least. So they're well they
- 1:55:33Speaker 2: I'm sure they own that because they did all that
- 1:55:36Speaker 2: renovation on it, and I think there's the bottom of it, like, yeah.
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: They own that bar. Yeah.
- 1:55:41Speaker 2: So they're leaving for the airport and he's like, oh,
- 1:55:44Speaker 2: I forgot to tell my mom that we're going to
- 1:55:45Speaker 2: need a ride home from the airport. There's no uber
- 1:55:48Speaker 2: or taxis where I live in the mountains, so I
- 1:55:51Speaker 2: hope I reach her by the time we land.
- 1:55:54Speaker 1: He's the worst.
- 1:55:55Speaker 2: And she goes, You've had weeks to tell her that
- 1:55:58Speaker 2: we needed this, and he goes, yeah, the other thing
- 1:56:02Speaker 2: I forgot to tell you is that the apartment that
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: we stayed in on my mom's property, it's not available.
- 1:56:10Speaker 2: It's an airbnb, so it's rented right now. So we're
- 1:56:14Speaker 2: gonna have to stay in my mom's house with her.
- 1:56:17Speaker 2: And he's telling her this on the ride to the airport.
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: He's the worst. He's the literal worst.
- 1:56:22Speaker 2: Forgot what a fuck up loser? He is, like, why
- 1:56:26Speaker 2: is she with him?
- 1:56:28Speaker 1: He's the worst.
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: He's a dud. He doesn't pop, he has no personality
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: and dudle. So yeah, and he's like a wanna be
- 1:56:38Speaker 2: like Timu Russ of Russ and Paula, And I think
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: Russ is a dud.
- 1:56:43Speaker 1: So I don't say if you're a team.
- 1:56:46Speaker 2: Of a dud dud, don't make a right and lose
- 1:56:51Speaker 2: their white guys.
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: So they go on the plane.
- 1:56:55Speaker 2: The mom picks them up, thank god, from the airport
- 1:56:57Speaker 2: in Washington, it's rainy and cold, and she's Evelyn's freezing,
- 1:57:01Speaker 2: poor thing. They are staying in his sister's old room.
- 1:57:05Speaker 2: The mom has done nothing to get it ready. There
- 1:57:07Speaker 2: are boxes of the sister's crap everywhere. It's just not great.
- 1:57:13Speaker 2: And she says, she's Matt. She's like, you've known for
- 1:57:17Speaker 2: years that we were coming to America. Eventually, you bought
- 1:57:21Speaker 2: two new surfboards in the last year that you didn't
- 1:57:24Speaker 2: need that could have gone towards our rent. Yeah, and
- 1:57:27Speaker 2: he says what she doesn't know, which I'm going to
- 1:57:29Speaker 2: break it to her at dinner in front of my
- 1:57:32Speaker 2: mom so she can't throw a fit, is that we
- 1:57:35Speaker 2: are going to be staying in the main house with
- 1:57:37Speaker 2: my mom for three years so that we can save
- 1:57:40Speaker 2: money and mend the relationship with my family, and because
- 1:57:43Speaker 2: we want to spin off called Evelyn and Corey Part two.
- 1:57:50Speaker 2: So he says it at dinner. He goes The mom's like, well,
- 1:57:54Speaker 2: how long are you going to be staying And he's like, well,
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: it's my fall. I should have prepared better, but we
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: are going to be staying for up to three years
- 1:58:02Speaker 2: in this house with you, mom, And the mom's like okay,
- 1:58:06Speaker 2: and Evelyn is like trying to be nice in front
- 1:58:09Speaker 2: of the mom. So she's like pretends that she is sick,
- 1:58:12Speaker 2: and I would have flipped a table.
- 1:58:14Speaker 1: She's she just leaves.
- 1:58:16Speaker 2: She's like, I'm in a bar, I gotta go, and
- 1:58:18Speaker 2: she goes into the bedroom and she won't talk to him.
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: So I wouldn't talk to you either. He's such a loser.
- 1:58:26Speaker 2: He's such a loser. So Sam and Citra and Airiss
- 1:58:32Speaker 2: speaking of losers, that kid is never finding a key chain,
- 1:58:36Speaker 2: by the way, a e R I s nope. So
- 1:58:42Speaker 2: his head looks even smaller than before.
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: He's still kids. It's a lower jaw. I don't I
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: don't know if I don't know if he doesn't have
- 1:58:52Speaker 1: teeth or if that's the shape of his face. It's unclear.
- 1:58:55Speaker 2: It's he has grown some sort of stubble over his lip,
- 1:58:59Speaker 2: like he's trying to grow a mustache. But it looks
- 1:59:01Speaker 2: like dirt.
- 1:59:03Speaker 1: And she's so cute. She makes up for it.
- 1:59:06Speaker 2: She's adorable and seems so nice. So my she says,
- 1:59:12Speaker 2: my dad remembered that her dad was a policeman, which
- 1:59:16Speaker 2: I had totally forgotten. She was like, so herman a policeman,
- 1:59:21Speaker 2: and which is another reason. He's seen what drugs do.
- 1:59:24Speaker 2: And he's like not enthused about this. And Sam had
- 1:59:27Speaker 2: promised you would be on the straight and narrow after this,
- 1:59:31Speaker 2: but no, so I did remember that they got married
- 1:59:36Speaker 2: and her his brother was the officiant in a backwards
- 1:59:40Speaker 2: baseball cap.
- 1:59:41Speaker 1: Sure a lot of George.
- 1:59:44Speaker 2: So he uh loves his daughter and his wife, but
- 1:59:48Speaker 2: a few weeks ago he was hanging out with this
- 1:59:50Speaker 2: bad crowd and he relapsed in drugs and he's really
- 1:59:55Speaker 2: beating himself up and how he let her down and
- 1:59:57Speaker 2: how he hates this addiction and his very a lot
- 2:00:01Speaker 2: of negative self talk about how badly he fucked up.
- 2:00:05Speaker 2: And she now wants to move to Indonesia with just
- 2:00:09Speaker 2: her and the baby and leave him behind because he
- 2:00:12Speaker 2: let her down, and he let her dad down and
- 2:00:14Speaker 2: he broke promises. So she tells him and he doesn't
- 2:00:18Speaker 2: seem surprised. It seems like he had known this, and
- 2:00:22Speaker 2: he says it would be he would feel so alone
- 2:00:25Speaker 2: and he would be in a really dark place if
- 2:00:27Speaker 2: she left. So then he's with his brother who looks
- 2:00:31Speaker 2: a lot like him, and he says, well, her dad
- 2:00:33Speaker 2: wants to talk to me. This weekend, and I'm terrified
- 2:00:36Speaker 2: because he has shot people. He is scary, and he
- 2:00:42Speaker 2: also has big sway with her, and he could have
- 2:00:45Speaker 2: her come home right now to Indonesia. And so he
- 2:00:49Speaker 2: sits down to FaceTime the dad, and the dad says,
- 2:00:53Speaker 2: you promised me you would swear off drugs, and drugs
- 2:00:55Speaker 2: lead to death, and they tear her families apart, and
- 2:00:59Speaker 2: Sam says he's been thinking about how to prove to
- 2:01:02Speaker 2: everyone that he's serious about changing, and he knows he
- 2:01:05Speaker 2: needs to do like a big gesture, and he says,
- 2:01:08Speaker 2: I like working in the warehouse with my brothers, but
- 2:01:11Speaker 2: I need to find a job that's healthier for me
- 2:01:13Speaker 2: and support my family.
- 2:01:15Speaker 1: And her dad.
- 2:01:16Speaker 2: Will really love if I kiss up to him and
- 2:01:19Speaker 2: announce that I want to follow in his footsteps and
- 2:01:22Speaker 2: become a cop. But he hasn't even gotten his GED apparently,
- 2:01:27Speaker 2: so he's twenty eight and he is waiting for his
- 2:01:32Speaker 2: GED online. But then he is going to apply to
- 2:01:36Speaker 2: cop school, which I guess you can do if you
- 2:01:40Speaker 2: have a car attic. Yeah, I mean, okay, So can
- 2:01:46Speaker 2: you imagine if you are pulled over by a cop
- 2:01:49Speaker 2: and you're like, have drugs in the car? You're speeding
- 2:01:52Speaker 2: or you have a gun, whatever, and this guy pulls
- 2:01:55Speaker 2: you over with this weird dirt stubble on his.
- 2:01:59Speaker 1: I wouldn't be afraid. I wouldn't be.
- 2:02:03Speaker 2: And his like neck tattoo.
- 2:02:05Speaker 1: You'd be like, this is the guy pulling me over?
- 2:02:08Speaker 2: Okay, But the dad, her dad is so happy, like, yes,
- 2:02:13Speaker 2: you have you can pull you can do this, you
- 2:02:15Speaker 2: can pull yourself together, and you can't do drugs if
- 2:02:17Speaker 2: you're going to be a cop, which you probably can,
- 2:02:20Speaker 2: and do you just start becoming one of those crooked cops,
- 2:02:22Speaker 2: then you're a dirty cop, right right, right, So she
- 2:02:26Speaker 2: is going to give him a chance, and she's not
- 2:02:28Speaker 2: going to leave Indonesia and this is not going to
- 2:02:32Speaker 2: He's not going to become a cop. There's no way
- 2:02:34Speaker 2: this is actually happening.
- 2:02:36Speaker 1: No, And then what they failed to mention was when
- 2:02:39Speaker 1: he's talking to his brother, he should have said, our
- 2:02:42Speaker 1: father in law is scary exactly. Brother is also married
- 2:02:45Speaker 1: to Citrus sister.
- 2:02:46Speaker 2: I know, which actually is very funny. So next time
- 2:02:51Speaker 2: Natalie Natalie, she is auditioning for something. It appears that
- 2:02:57Speaker 2: she has signed up for a beauty pageant, and.
- 2:02:59Speaker 1: So, okay, I did see I think she said I
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: tried to do beauty pageant beauty.
- 2:03:06Speaker 2: And I'm so beauty, but these other women are beauty too.
- 2:03:09Speaker 2: And she's wearing like wedges with her evening gown dress.
- 2:03:14Speaker 2: I didn't really understand what was happening.
- 2:03:16Speaker 1: She looks like she'said a finger in a socket. That's
- 2:03:17Speaker 1: what she looks like. Yeah. Nuts, her hair is nuts, sick.
- 2:03:22Speaker 2: Her nose looks good though.
- 2:03:24Speaker 1: Yeah, new nose? Who does yeah?
- 2:03:25Speaker 2: So, and then Corey and Evelyn were back with them
- 2:03:28Speaker 2: and they're playing in the snow for the first time.
- 2:03:30Speaker 2: But she is pissed in him and she wants a
- 2:03:32Speaker 2: divorce now because always he's fucked everything up.
- 2:03:36Speaker 1: She's staying out for a long time, wanted a divorce
- 2:03:39Speaker 1: for eleven years. Yeah.
- 2:03:40Speaker 2: And then John of John spockles he is having a
- 2:03:46Speaker 2: baby with Megan, but he doesn't know if the baby
- 2:03:50Speaker 2: is his. That's not good, that's horrible. And she's a
- 2:03:56Speaker 2: little scary too. So they're just toxic together. Bad news.
- 2:04:01Speaker 1: Well, you've made me interested in diaries, and for that,
- 2:04:04Speaker 1: I'm angry.
- 2:04:06Speaker 2: I'm happy.
- 2:04:08Speaker 1: I did have somebody write me this week and was like,
- 2:04:09Speaker 1: I'm confused. I was listening to the ninety day recap.
- 2:04:12Speaker 1: But then you guys were talking about something to happen
- 2:04:14Speaker 1: on Diaries. I was like, it was Kimberly's corner. Come on,
- 2:04:17Speaker 1: are you new here? It's Kimberly's corner. I have a
- 2:04:19Speaker 1: whole logo at the body of got a whole logo
- 2:04:21Speaker 1: I'm going to do, but you can't see it if
- 2:04:23Speaker 1: you're not on YouTube. I'm going to time stamp at Kimberly's.
- 2:04:27Speaker 2: Corner so people can turn off if they.
- 2:04:31Speaker 1: No or just.
- 2:04:33Speaker 2: Come for Kimberly's corner. And speaking of recommendations, I heard
- 2:04:38Speaker 2: you talking to Keisha that you read The Favorite Sister,
- 2:04:40Speaker 2: which was I did my recommendation and you appeared to
- 2:04:44Speaker 2: like it, so I did.
- 2:04:45Speaker 1: I liked it. I've recommended it to several other people
- 2:04:48Speaker 1: and then give to John's recommended a book to me
- 2:04:51Speaker 1: which is also about reality TV called The Book of Luke.
- 2:04:54Speaker 1: And it was sort of like a survivor type show
- 2:04:58Speaker 1: where like people come or coming back after the ten
- 2:05:01Speaker 1: year anniversary of the show coming back and all that.
- 2:05:04Speaker 1: And it was okay. I didn't love it, but it
- 2:05:07Speaker 1: was all right, Okay, it was all right. It wasn't
- 2:05:09Speaker 1: as good as the Favorite Sister. That was really good. Yeah,
- 2:05:12Speaker 1: that was really good. All right. Now I am reading
- 2:05:14Speaker 1: You Like Housewives.
- 2:05:16Speaker 2: It's like perfect.
- 2:05:18Speaker 1: It was a good It was a good look into
- 2:05:19Speaker 1: the how reality TV works. And same the Book of
- 2:05:22Speaker 1: Louk was as well. I'm reading The Claimity Club by
- 2:05:26Speaker 1: Catherine Start and she was just on Oprah's podcast. It
- 2:05:30Speaker 1: was amazing. Wow, that's great. Yeah, really great. Everybody that's
- 2:05:36Speaker 1: it or hitting up on two hours here. So I
- 2:05:39Speaker 1: don't know if the Ingrid's going to break it up.
- 2:05:41Speaker 1: Sometimes I think she's going to break it up and
- 2:05:42Speaker 1: then she doesn't. So if she did, thanks for listening
- 2:05:45Speaker 1: to both parts. If she doesn't, it's a long episode.
- 2:05:49Speaker 1: You're welcome, question Mark.
