- 0:00Colossians chapter 4. Let us pray our Father who is in
- 0:08heaven, holy, is your name. God, let us keep your name.
- 0:16Holy Father, I pray God that it'll be your name that is above
- 0:22all names. It is the name that is highly
- 0:24exalted God the Most High God, the banner over us.
- 0:29Lord, we're praying for your Kingdom, God to come right here
- 0:33to this earth. Father, we're praying God that
- 0:36you'll build your Kingdom God, and that we will step into that.
- 0:42Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus that you'll equip us for
- 0:47the Kingdom. God, I pray that you'll build us
- 0:50up. God, I pray that we will push
- 0:54and persevere and endure all the way until the Kingdom fully
- 0:58comes. God, we have tasted and we have
- 1:00seen in part in darkly and dimly.
- 1:03But God, one day we yearn and we desire to see it in its
- 1:07fullness. God, I pray for your will to be
- 1:11done. Not our will, not our ways, not
- 1:14our preferences, God, but your will, your revealed will that
- 1:19you've given us, God in the 66 book Canon, God, from Genesis to
- 1:24Revelation. Father, I pray for your will to
- 1:27be done on this earth. God, hide us, Hide our purposes
- 1:33and plans, hide all of our wants and desires.
- 1:37God, and help us to step in to the will that you have for today
- 1:41for us. Give us Our Daily Bread today.
- 1:44Give us the man of God. Give us the water from the rock.
- 1:47Let us eat sumptuously upon your flesh and drink your blood.
- 1:52God, I pray that we'll remember what you've done for us on the
- 1:55cross, Lord Jesus. Lord, forgive us, God, forgive
- 2:04us for all the times that we made it about sin and self.
- 2:08Forgive us for all the times that we've taken our eyes off of
- 2:11you. Forgive us for all the times
- 2:14that we were angry, God and deceitful.
- 2:17Lord and Father, I pray that you'll forgive us for all of the
- 2:21things that we have done. Lord, every single sin, Lord,
- 2:25cover them in the blood of Christ.
- 2:27Help us to extend forgiveness out to those who have wronged
- 2:31us, God, and trespassed against us, God, for those who have
- 2:35sinned against us, God, help us to extend forgiveness to them.
- 2:39Father, not holding on to a root of bitterness, God, not holding
- 2:44on to anything that is keeping us from you.
- 2:49Lord, we forgive because we are forgiven.
- 2:55God, I pray that the enemy will be bound today in the mighty
- 2:59name of Jesus Christ. God, bind every unclean and foul
- 3:04spirit. God, in the name of Jesus
- 3:06Christ, cast them into chains of utter darkness and gloom.
- 3:12God, as they await for the judgment that you have coming
- 3:16for them, God, bind them from off of our families.
- 3:21Bind them from off of our houses.
- 3:23Bind them from off of our lives and minds and hearts.
- 3:27God, bind them from off of this nation.
- 3:30In the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- 3:32Let revival break out. Father, keep us from deception.
- 3:38Lord God, I pray that we will exalt your Kingdom, your power,
- 3:54your glory. Thank you, Father, for saving
- 4:01us. Thank you, Father, for your
- 4:06word. Thank you, God, for our
- 4:10inheritance. And it's in Jesus Christ, holy
- 4:15and precious and powerful, majestic and awesome name that I
- 4:23pray. Amen.
- 4:28Well, let's start in verse one. Masters, give unto your servants
- 4:37that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a
- 4:42master in heaven. There's no one that is above you
- 4:46that is above God. There's no entity, no
- 4:51principality, there is no official that is above God.
- 4:58And if we choose to serve, and if we choose to be subservient,
- 5:08and if we choose to go under someone, it is a choice,
- 5:15friends, because we serve the King of Kings and the Lord of
- 5:19Lords, and he is our highest order and our highest commander
- 5:28and our highest boss and king. And there is no one greater than
- 5:35God Almighty. He is the Most high God and here
- 5:39this is a great reminder to all those who are over people that
- 5:46you cannot use that as leverage to do evil.
- 5:54God is watching and God will in due time reward those things
- 5:59that are done in secret. And He will also bring out the
- 6:02things that we don't want anyone to know about, and He'll bring
- 6:07those into the light because He's good at it. 10 times out of
- 6:1110, you will be found out for all the things that you're
- 6:14trying to do in secret, whether it's embezzling, whether it is
- 6:20stealing, whether it is manipulating, whether it is
- 6:24sexual perversion, it will all be found out in due time and
- 6:30God's perfect timing. Everything will be brought to
- 6:33light. But when you do the right thing
- 6:35and no one is watching and you have integrity, that will be
- 6:39found out as well and we will be rewarded openly. 2 Continue in
- 6:48prayer, and watch in the same with Thanksgiving.
- 6:54So pray the paint off the walls, and when God answers your
- 6:59prayers, make sure you give him his due honor, and his due
- 7:03praise, and his Thanksgiving. Give God all the glory, and
- 7:09enter into his gates with praise and Thanksgiving.
- 7:12Three, with all praying also for us, that God would open unto us
- 7:18a door of utterance to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I
- 7:23am also in bonds. Paul is saying I am in chains
- 7:27and I am being restrained and pray to God that He will release
- 7:33me so that I can find other churches and found other
- 7:37churches and that I can go out and speak the truth of God to
- 7:42any person who will listen and that is what Our Calling is as
- 7:48well. Be led by the Spirit friends.
- 7:52He will lead you into most wonderful conversations that
- 7:58have eternal ramifications that get people to choose Him over
- 8:05this world, those that are teeter tottering between life
- 8:09and death. We have the power of life in the
- 8:13tongue, friends, and that is what we utter to people.
- 8:17We utter to them, and it opens doors that no man can shut, and
- 8:22it shuts the doors that no man can open.
- 8:26For that I may make it manifest as I ought to speak.
- 8:31The hidden things, friends, they're already there, but we
- 8:35just need to bring them out. We need to make them known,
- 8:42friends. God has written eternity into
- 8:46the tapestry of all the fabric of this life, and all we need to
- 8:51do is unlock and reveal to people what is already there.
- 8:56All of creation is proclaiming His name.
- 8:59Friends five walk in wisdom toward them that are without
- 9:05redeeming the time. We know that this is the time
- 9:10that we need to be out in the harvest.
- 9:13We know that the harvest is plenty, but the workers are few.
- 9:17We know that the time is evil. We know that the days are short.
- 9:21We know that it's all culminating and coming to a
- 9:23close. And we need to be out doing the
- 9:26work of God Almighty and telling every single person that we meet
- 9:31all about what He has done for us, sharing our testimony with
- 9:35everybody who will listen, friends, and overcoming by the
- 9:39blood of the Lamb in the words of our testimony.
- 9:44We need to walk in this wisdom and walk in the spirit.
- 9:47And there are many people who are dying and going by the
- 9:50wayside and they're choosing death and they're choosing hell.
- 9:54And we are the difference makers.
- 9:56We are the chain Breakers. We are the answer.
- 10:00We are plan A. We have the keys to eternal
- 10:03life, friends. Far be it from us to hold back
- 10:07from those that are without six. Let your speech be always with
- 10:12grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to
- 10:17answer every man. That is wisdom that is being
- 10:22renewed by God's words, letting the words wash over you,
- 10:27friends. And then when someone asks you a
- 10:29hard question and your spirit LED, you say the right thing at
- 10:33the right time and it hits the right note and that person falls
- 10:38to their knees and they give their life over to the Lord
- 10:41Jesus Christ. And it's nothing that we have
- 10:43done, but it's because God has culminated that moment and that
- 10:47all we were, we were a conduit. All we were, we were the
- 10:51between, all we were was the middleman between what Christ
- 10:55did on the cross and what God was already preparing in their
- 10:58heart, and we just spoke the right word at the right time,
- 11:02and it brought about their salvation. 7 All my state shall
- 11:11Ticus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother in a faithful
- 11:16minister, and a fellow servant in the Lord.
- 11:19So Paul's going to send this Ticus to tell the Colossians
- 11:24what Paul is like and what his state is like, and what does he
- 11:29do, and what does he say? And all the answers, all the
- 11:34questions that they might have, Ticus could help to answer.
- 11:38Friends 8 whom I have sent to you for the same purpose, that
- 11:42he might know your estate and comfort your hearts.
- 11:46So this was double fold. Paul wanted to see what the
- 11:49Colossians life was like and he wanted to comfort the Colossians
- 11:53by letting them know what his life was like and for the
- 11:58comforting of their hearts. 9 With Onissimus, a faithful and
- 12:04beloved brother, who is one of you, they shall make known unto
- 12:10you all things which are done here.
- 12:13So Paul is chained up in Rome, and he's sending Onissimus
- 12:19Antiochus to the Colossian church to let them know what his
- 12:25life is like and to give Paul a report of what the Colossian
- 12:31church was like. 10 Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, salutes you
- 12:41and Marcus's sister's son to Barnabas, touching whom you
- 12:46received commandments. If he come unto you, receive
- 12:50him. So Paul is giving his personal
- 12:55letter of recommendation for all of these men who have labored
- 13:00with him and he's saying to them receive them.
- 13:04They are an extension of me. 11 and Jesus, which is called just
- 13:12us who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellow workers
- 13:19into the Kingdom of God, which have been a comfort to me.
- 13:23So perhaps this Jesus was not comfortable with calling himself
- 13:28that because of our Lord, so he calls himself just us instead.
- 13:32And Paul's saying that they are the ones who are working
- 13:37alongside of him, and he's sending them to Colossae to
- 13:41gather information and intelligence on what that church
- 13:45is like and to also bring to the church there at Colossae his
- 13:52greetings and his fondness for them. 12A Pafras, who is one of
- 13:59you, a servant of Christ, salutes you, always laboring
- 14:05fervently for you in prayers that you may stand perfect and
- 14:10complete in all the will of God. This fervent prayer accomplishes
- 14:17much in the spiritual realm and that is what you need to
- 14:21understand is that if we even could gather 1 facet of what
- 14:29prayer is doing in the spiritual realm, we would spend our lives
- 14:34in prayer. Eyes wide open, eyes shut, on
- 14:38our knees, standing, driving or sitting, sleeping or awake.
- 14:45We pray without ceasing friends. We pray always and that is the
- 14:53call of a St. Never stop praying.
- 14:57Pray in season and out of season.
- 15:00Pray about everything, friends, even the things that you don't
- 15:05think God even cares about. Pray about everything, friends.
- 15:10Spend your entire life from this moment until you take your last
- 15:15breath in prayer. Friends, pray earnestly so that
- 15:24we can stand perfect and complete in the will of God.
- 15:27In the presence of God Almighty. We will stand perfect and
- 15:32complete because of what Jesus Christ did for US. 13 For I bear
- 15:38him record that he has a great zeal for you, and them that are
- 15:42in Laodicea, and them in Haropolis. 14 Luke the beloved
- 15:49physician, and Demas greet you, 15 salute the brothers, which
- 15:55are in Laodicea, and Nymphis in the church which is in his
- 16:00house. 16 And when this epistle is read among you calls, that it
- 16:05be read also in the Church of Laodiceans, and that you
- 16:10likewise read it the epistle from Laodicea.
- 16:14So Paul is writing all these letters and he wants them to be
- 16:18distributed unto the churches. And you can see that the ones
- 16:23that were inspired of God were preserved.
- 16:26And we don't need to worry about any of Paul's letters that were
- 16:30not preserved because they were not inspired.
- 16:34And it is God Almighty who is the one who preserved them, not
- 16:38man. Man didn't get to choose which
- 16:41books go into the Bible. That is a fallacy and a heresy,
- 16:45and that is the Satanic revolt. And that is the marker of
- 16:51someone who is hostile towards God when they start to call into
- 16:56question any of the books that are in there, or when they start
- 16:59to call into question any of the books that didn't make it into
- 17:03their friends. It is God Almighty who
- 17:06orchestrated and it is God Almighty who put the 66 books
- 17:11into the Canon of scripture. And we need not worry if there's
- 17:16something that we're missing or something that's there that
- 17:19shouldn't be, that is not for us to try and figure out.
- 17:24That is the Spirit of God, who is the one who orchestrated it
- 17:29all. And whenever you trust and
- 17:31whenever you completely put all of your faith on the chief
- 17:36cornerstone from Genesis to Revelation, the Word became
- 17:40flesh friends. And the Word was God.
- 17:43And the Word is alive and active.
- 17:45And whenever you will trust completely, wholeheartedly,
- 17:49sheepishly, and full foolishly all of the scriptures from
- 17:54Genesis to Revelation, you will never be put to shame.
- 17:57And you will start to see mighty things working in your life, and
- 18:01you will start to understand the mind of Christ.
- 18:04And you will not be in confusion, friends, but you will
- 18:07have a sound mind because you trust and obey the revealed will
- 18:12of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation 17.
- 18:18And say to octopus, take heed to the ministry which you have
- 18:23received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.
- 18:26When we receive a ministry, God will fuel us to fulfill it,
- 18:31friends. And this octopus needed that
- 18:34reminder. He needed to know that God was
- 18:37fighting his battles. 18 will end here.
- 18:40The salutation by the hand of me, Paul, remember my bonds.
- 18:45Grace be with you all men remember that Paul was in
- 18:49bondage and in chains for the good news, which is a stamp of
- 18:55God's approval. Men will not die for a lie,
- 19:00friends, but the blood of the martyr is the seed of the
- 19:04church. Praise God, Hallelujah.
- 19:07We love you, Father. Thank you for counting us worthy
- 19:12and for choosing and predestining us before the
- 19:14foundations of the earth. I hope you've been blessed by
- 19:19this amazing chapter here in God's Word.
- 19:32I know I sure have. I'm praying for every single one
- 19:39of you. I love you.
- 19:47So does God. God bless you.
- 19:54We'll see you back here tomorrow.
