Latest / Vanity Farah with Chris Farah / 90 Day Fiancé Season 12 Episode 2 “Trusting the Process” Part 2 of 2
Transcript
- 0:06Speaker 1: Hi, everyone, Welcome back to Vanity Farrah. It's me your host,
- 0:09Speaker 1: Chris Farah, and I'm in the middle of talking about
- 0:11Speaker 1: Ninety Day Fiance's season twelve. It's episode two. It's trusting
- 0:14Speaker 1: the process, trust the process that this season is so good.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I keep talking, and I have to talk longer, so
- 0:22Speaker 1: I have to make two parts of episodes because you
- 0:25Speaker 1: can't just like listen to a three hour episode of
- 0:27Speaker 1: me talking about this. Now. I've already talked about Katie,
- 0:33Speaker 1: and I've already talked about Shay and given you all
- 0:35Speaker 1: of my thoughts about those people. And now we're going
- 0:38Speaker 1: to go on to Asha, and then we have new
- 0:41Speaker 1: girl Debbie, and then we have Marisa. Okay, Asia. Now
- 0:46Speaker 1: I found Asia's TikTok and you know, she has like
- 0:49Speaker 1: only a couple of hundred followers, so it's early on
- 0:52Speaker 1: and she is showing off her life. Honey. She's very happy.
- 0:56Speaker 1: This is like, you know, all the deep dive I've
- 0:58Speaker 1: done off screen for you, like you can get a
- 1:00Speaker 1: little more than just the recap. She's so happy to
- 1:03Speaker 1: be like God answers your prayers, A black cars picking
- 1:09Speaker 1: me up because I'm on TV, and you know, like
- 1:12Speaker 1: whatever you're doing in private, fasting or praying. God listens, like,
- 1:15Speaker 1: so being on the show is like God answering her prayer.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Just take that head, but let's move on. So when
- 1:25Speaker 1: we see her, she's talking to her mom. So now
- 1:28Speaker 1: we're like, Okay, in this big, beautiful home she lives
- 1:30Speaker 1: and her parents are there. Her mom is named Juliette
- 1:33Speaker 1: oh Romeo Romeo, and one thing her mom doesn't do
- 1:38Speaker 1: is put her in her place. Her mom isn't like,
- 1:42Speaker 1: what the hell's wrong with you? This is crazy. The
- 1:45Speaker 1: picture you showed me of the visa getting approved and
- 1:48Speaker 1: denied looks fake. And you're my daughter, and you'll listen
- 1:51Speaker 1: to me and you're being you know, unhinged in the
- 1:56Speaker 1: name of the Lord. That's not what Julia's doing. Juliet's
- 1:59Speaker 1: washing and allowing Asia to do whatever the fuck Asia wants.
- 2:03Speaker 1: And at this moment, Asha's like a negotiating attorney to
- 2:06Speaker 1: talk about her issues with the visa, and she's like, mom,
- 2:11Speaker 1: Maxwell is so upset because Maxwell's already packed and told
- 2:16Speaker 1: his parents about this, and we just cannot believe that
- 2:19Speaker 1: the visa was denied. I was not prepared for the
- 2:23Speaker 1: visa being denied. Now, that's also sus why because you
- 2:29Speaker 1: and I like, unless you have, like mostly people listening
- 2:32Speaker 1: haven't had a Nigerian lover try and get a visa.
- 2:36Speaker 1: But we watched the show and we know that odds
- 2:41Speaker 1: are not great if you're trying to get a visa
- 2:45Speaker 1: from Nigeria to come. Why because a certain countries aren't
- 2:52Speaker 1: America's favorite countries period. And second thing, Nigeria just has
- 2:57Speaker 1: a real shitty reputation, real bad one, really bad scammer one.
- 3:02Speaker 1: So like we're not fucking loose with that. We're not
- 3:06Speaker 1: Katie with our visa. We're like, you know, we're stringent,
- 3:09Speaker 1: We're you know, we're Annabelle. We're like, don't know, you're
- 3:11Speaker 1: not getting in this bed. I'm not gonna even wash you.
- 3:14Speaker 1: You know, weird metaphor, but you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 3:17Speaker 1: we we've been knowing that it's not easy to get
- 3:19Speaker 1: a visa from Nigeria, So for her not to be
- 3:22Speaker 1: prepared at all makes me think that Asia's never even
- 3:26Speaker 1: done like a simple Google search or gone on to
- 3:31Speaker 1: Reddit to realize that it's really hard to do. So
- 3:35Speaker 1: she certainly hasn't watched Angela and Michael go through it,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and she certainly didn't watch last season with Lisa anyway,
- 3:43Speaker 1: she wasn't able to. I know, it was film like
- 3:45Speaker 1: at the same time, you know what I'm saying. But she, Yeah,
- 3:48Speaker 1: she's just like so shocked by it, you know, and
- 3:51Speaker 1: we're supposed to believe that, Like, she's also so shocked
- 3:55Speaker 1: because she has decided that the Lord is on her
- 3:59Speaker 1: side in every way, and that you know, because of that,
- 4:04Speaker 1: he's just going to pave the road ahead with like
- 4:08Speaker 1: brand new asphalt and there's flower bangs on the side
- 4:12Speaker 1: with never a divid or any sort of like pothole
- 4:20Speaker 1: on her journey. Certainly no mountain and certainly no blockade.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And I also find that interesting because she's thirty nine,
- 4:29Speaker 1: so inevitably there's been other things in her life that
- 4:33Speaker 1: she's had issues with, Like there's been challenges in her life,
- 4:37Speaker 1: Like this isn't like a twelve year old being like
- 4:39Speaker 1: God's on my side now I'm going to go to college,
- 4:42Speaker 1: Everything's going to go well, like you know, No, it's
- 4:43Speaker 1: like she's had hardships. So I don't understand how she
- 4:48Speaker 1: thinks that just because she thinks that she's God's you know,
- 4:54Speaker 1: chosen baby, prophet that all things are going to go well.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Like surely if she woke up every morning and there
- 5:04Speaker 1: was just like one hundred dollars bill out of either
- 5:05Speaker 1: her pillow like some weird god tooth fairy, you know,
- 5:08Speaker 1: maybe and like everything was always hunky dory, and she
- 5:11Speaker 1: like lived in some sort of Disney princess film that
- 5:14Speaker 1: you'd be like weirded out if something bad happened, But
- 5:17Speaker 1: like she doesn't. She does live on God's green earth,
- 5:19Speaker 1: like she you know, this woman I'm assuming has gotten
- 5:22Speaker 1: a parking ticket, has gotten like pulled over, you know,
- 5:25Speaker 1: or like you know, gotten a car accident, like a
- 5:27Speaker 1: little fender bender. Like I'm just trying to think like
- 5:29Speaker 1: this person, you know, maybe like broken arm or fractured
- 5:32Speaker 1: a wrist, you know, like if it was me because
- 5:33Speaker 1: I like rollerbladed or something like surely, you know, whatever
- 5:36Speaker 1: things have happened to this person, I'm sure this person
- 5:39Speaker 1: has applied for a job and not gotten it or like,
- 5:42Speaker 1: you know, so again, like I don't understand why like
- 5:49Speaker 1: something coming up in her journey would be so shocking
- 5:51Speaker 1: for her that it doesn't like work out one hundred
- 5:54Speaker 1: percent of the way. At some point we have to
- 5:56Speaker 1: like assume that things don't work out how we think
- 5:58Speaker 1: they're going to, like at a certain age. Okay. But
- 6:01Speaker 1: she's like, I'm gonna go pick up Rod, you know, Rod,
- 6:03Speaker 1: my god brother. And I'm like, okay, so like his
- 6:06Speaker 1: mom is your godmm? Is that what that is? Okay?
- 6:09Speaker 1: And she's like, look to Rod as you know. I've
- 6:14Speaker 1: gone through many different men, so much so that I
- 6:18Speaker 1: have made a list of characteristics for men to have.
- 6:21Speaker 1: And I've been having this list since I had an
- 6:23Speaker 1: AOL account. When she drops that, honey, we're like, oh girl,
- 6:26Speaker 1: we're in the same generation. This is Asha's list of
- 6:31Speaker 1: characteristics for men to have. No smoking, no drinking, no kids,
- 6:38Speaker 1: but no kids. Parts hard when you're like thirty nine, okay,
- 6:40Speaker 1: great job, has ambition, loves God, but not die hard God.
- 6:47Speaker 1: And I was like, not die hard God, not die
- 6:51Speaker 1: hard God. You are God's like, you know, like Rod
- 6:57Speaker 1: or die Soldier. What do you like? You are? I
- 7:00Speaker 1: hard God? You are a fundamentalist pentecostal lady. You're talking
- 7:04Speaker 1: in tongues and shit like what you are? You absolutely
- 7:09Speaker 1: need someone that's die hard, because someone who like loves
- 7:12Speaker 1: God but isn't die hard God's gonna think that you're
- 7:14Speaker 1: fucking bananas. That's true. Okay, so just wile to me,
- 7:21Speaker 1: But it goes on. This person has to be understanding, organized, organized,
- 7:27Speaker 1: athletic built. I'm like, does this person need like labels
- 7:31Speaker 1: and stuff like that, like a label maker? This person
- 7:33Speaker 1: have Google spreadsheets? Anyway, this person, as I said, athletic built,
- 7:37Speaker 1: great lover. Okay, Then she says, this person can't have
- 7:42Speaker 1: big feet, no sasquatch. What this person's supposed to have
- 7:48Speaker 1: like an athletic built and may be like small tootsies.
- 7:53Speaker 1: What you want like a Cinderella honey, like you know,
- 7:55Speaker 1: the smallest foot in the land will go on that
- 7:56Speaker 1: glass slipper. What are you talking about? You want a
- 7:58Speaker 1: small footed man, small little Geisha feet. That kind of
- 8:02Speaker 1: guy made no sense to me. I'm sorry, I'm like,
- 8:08Speaker 1: what Also, of all the things to like get mad
- 8:10Speaker 1: about men's feet, it's not the size, it's the way
- 8:13Speaker 1: they look and it bell's like yeah, and if their
- 8:15Speaker 1: toes are clean, you know I'm saying, or if they
- 8:17Speaker 1: wear ugly like you know, sandals all the time like gino.
- 8:21Speaker 1: You know, like there's a billion things to get mad
- 8:23Speaker 1: about men's feet. And I do, but like not the size.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I guess technically I don't. Yeah, I don't want a
- 8:31Speaker 1: tiny footed man. I also don't want, like, you know,
- 8:35Speaker 1: a small handed man. But that's directly related to the
- 8:38Speaker 1: size of my feet and the size of my hands,
- 8:40Speaker 1: which are huge, huge size eleven feet. My hands are
- 8:45Speaker 1: just you know there. I have long fingers and you
- 8:46Speaker 1: know I have big hands. So I don't enjoy the
- 8:52Speaker 1: thought of like holding a man's hand who's like tinier
- 8:54Speaker 1: than me. Who anyway, it's like, yeah, it's like holding
- 8:58Speaker 1: my nephew's hand. Okay, So well I just thought that
- 9:01Speaker 1: was crazy. So but you know, there's a lot of
- 9:03Speaker 1: things so also wealthy nose, purpose, good hygiene, good hair,
- 9:10Speaker 1: pretty teeth. And then she puts really loves God, so
- 9:16Speaker 1: well that part makes sense. But yeah, okay, because you're
- 9:19Speaker 1: die hard, right, clear, die hard God. Okay. So when
- 9:24Speaker 1: she has like told us this list, or when she
- 9:27Speaker 1: said that she had the list, we hear the producer
- 9:29Speaker 1: being like, girl, look at that list, which made me
- 9:32Speaker 1: really happy because I could, you know, almost like see
- 9:35Speaker 1: the producer like saying this to her. And I also
- 9:37Speaker 1: like the fact that this producer seemed warm, so she
- 9:43Speaker 1: picks up Rod from the coffee shop and she's been like, Rod,
- 9:47Speaker 1: don't get in this car without a lattepe for me,
- 9:50Speaker 1: make it oat milk, And then he does and they
- 9:53Speaker 1: drive themselves to Love Immigration is the name of the
- 9:57Speaker 1: lawyer she's going to see. Love Immigration, which like feel
- 10:02Speaker 1: a little bit on the head, like nose, Like you
- 10:05Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, No, on the nose, That's what
- 10:09Speaker 1: I mean. It's a little on the nose to have
- 10:11Speaker 1: a place called Love Immigration. This is where you go
- 10:14Speaker 1: if your love needs to immigrate. I'm a lawyer. Yeah,
- 10:18Speaker 1: it's very specific. I like, how do they always find
- 10:21Speaker 1: these weird ass lawyers, Like no one goes to a
- 10:24Speaker 1: normal lawyer ever, you know, like Gino's Crystal Lawyer and
- 10:27Speaker 1: everthing like that. Like Love Immigration just sounds like, yeah,
- 10:33Speaker 1: it's a bananaramus place. So now this is where she
- 10:36Speaker 1: loses me. I mean obviously I was lost on that list.
- 10:41Speaker 1: But she's talking to the immigration guy and she's like,
- 10:43Speaker 1: can we get an appeal? And the lawyer's like no, yeah,
- 10:48Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't care. Well what you want
- 10:51Speaker 1: to be? Like, oh, it's asha, Let's make sure we
- 10:54Speaker 1: go back and give this case like due diligence, Like
- 10:58Speaker 1: that's not how it works. And she's like, well, why
- 11:00Speaker 1: because my story is more important than any other cause
- 11:04Speaker 1: it's God ordained. That's crazy. I detest when people put
- 11:16Speaker 1: themselves ahead or in front of other people for whatever
- 11:22Speaker 1: asinine reason that they tell themselves, right. I don't like
- 11:28Speaker 1: when people from a you know, higher socioeconomic level think
- 11:34Speaker 1: that they're better than other people who are not on
- 11:37Speaker 1: that same level. That doesn't make any goddamn sense obviously.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Don't like it when people think that, like their race
- 11:43Speaker 1: makes them better. I don't like when people think that
- 11:46Speaker 1: their religion makes them better. That's so stupid. But religion
- 11:52Speaker 1: is even all of it's dumb and stupid, right, But
- 11:55Speaker 1: religion is super stupid because we're also supposed to believe that,
- 11:59Speaker 1: Like religion is this what like spiritually evolved thing where
- 12:05Speaker 1: we believe that God loves everyone and whatnot, Like that's
- 12:09Speaker 1: what Christians are supposed to believe, right, So it's yeah,
- 12:14Speaker 1: it's hypocritical to be like God loves me more, God
- 12:19Speaker 1: cares about my wants and needs more than anyone else's. Like,
- 12:23Speaker 1: I think it's crazy when sports teams are like dear God,
- 12:25Speaker 1: let us win. Fuck those people, God were your chosen team.
- 12:32Speaker 1: God doesn't care about a football game, and he's not
- 12:36Speaker 1: gonna be like, well, I got money on the Notre
- 12:38Speaker 1: Dame fighting Irish, so fuck Boston, you know, like what,
- 12:42Speaker 1: that's stupid. And I think that her saying this kind
- 12:47Speaker 1: of like feeds into why she thinks she's a prophet,
- 12:50Speaker 1: because she thinks that the being a prophet or speaking
- 12:54Speaker 1: in tongues makes her better than other people. So she's
- 12:57Speaker 1: just gonna keep doing it. God loves everyone, or feels
- 13:02Speaker 1: the same about everyone. God is doing what God's doing,
- 13:10Speaker 1: or the universe is going to do what the universe
- 13:12Speaker 1: is doing. Or I would like to believe that the
- 13:18Speaker 1: way in which you interact and your energy interacts with
- 13:23Speaker 1: this world and humanity and each other and God is
- 13:27Speaker 1: how our life unfolds, because it has to do with
- 13:31Speaker 1: our perception of this world and how we react, as
- 13:36Speaker 1: well as what we bring into our lives through our
- 13:41Speaker 1: own magnetic energy. Not to be like super secret about
- 13:48Speaker 1: it and not like the secret you know is it,
- 13:50Speaker 1: but like the thought of like doing good for this
- 13:55Speaker 1: world a because it feels good to do so, and
- 13:59Speaker 1: because you have a divine calling to make this world
- 14:03Speaker 1: better makes me feel like your life ultimately will have
- 14:09Speaker 1: if you can accomplish certain things a certain purpose that
- 14:14Speaker 1: feeds you. And so what happens in your life you
- 14:17Speaker 1: make the best of in a way, and your love
- 14:21Speaker 1: and energy and warmth attracts people into your life. That
- 14:27Speaker 1: helps round things out and fulfill things. And if you
- 14:31Speaker 1: are attracting good people in your life at some point,
- 14:36Speaker 1: that has a reaction to the areas of your life
- 14:40Speaker 1: that like you that you know subscribe meaning to like
- 14:45Speaker 1: your career or your love life, or your family because
- 14:48Speaker 1: you know, or your friends or your chosen family. Like
- 14:52Speaker 1: if that energy you're putting out has like good intent,
- 14:59Speaker 1: then people people want to be around you. They want
- 15:02Speaker 1: to work with you, they want good things for you,
- 15:06Speaker 1: they want to help you achieve your goals. They might
- 15:10Speaker 1: fall in love with you, they might leave at some point.
- 15:13Speaker 1: But that's I think how this world works. And I'm
- 15:24Speaker 1: not saying that if you do good for everyone else
- 15:27Speaker 1: that your life will always be perfect. And surely you
- 15:30Speaker 1: have to also take care of yourself and like do
- 15:32Speaker 1: good for yourself, and it can't be like a performative
- 15:36Speaker 1: kind of thing where I'm trying to do so many
- 15:38Speaker 1: things for so many people, so I get it back.
- 15:41Speaker 1: There's just like the contract. I think, this is all
- 15:45Speaker 1: my thoughts that you have with your life and the universe.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Slash god, slash whatever. Trans transnental no, transcendental dental energy
- 16:04Speaker 1: because I think, you know, like I guess speaking for me,
- 16:08Speaker 1: like I want so badly to connect with people and
- 16:15Speaker 1: for people not to feel alone, but in fact for
- 16:18Speaker 1: people to relate to me, and like what I'm doing
- 16:21Speaker 1: and this podcasts like one thing, but you know, I
- 16:23Speaker 1: do comedy and I have like other you know, like
- 16:25Speaker 1: weird shows I've written or whatnot. Like there's different projects
- 16:28Speaker 1: I've done, and all of them like I want people
- 16:32Speaker 1: to in my work and what I showcase see a
- 16:38Speaker 1: version of themselves or something that they relate to or
- 16:41Speaker 1: like here's something specific that resonates with them. And the
- 16:48Speaker 1: goal would be to in that moment be like, oh yeah,
- 16:53Speaker 1: we're all this way or oh yeah, this is how
- 16:57Speaker 1: life is and maybe feel a certain relief because like
- 17:04Speaker 1: that's how I feel when I see like great theater,
- 17:07Speaker 1: you know, like that's how you feel like when you
- 17:08Speaker 1: connect to a piece of art sometimes like you know,
- 17:11Speaker 1: sometimes you're like, oh, I love that it speaks to
- 17:15Speaker 1: me in some way. And sometimes, you know, you see
- 17:17Speaker 1: a scene on a TV show that's really well written
- 17:20Speaker 1: or theater or whatnot, and you're like, holy shit, that
- 17:22Speaker 1: reminds me of that thing that happened to me when
- 17:24Speaker 1: I was in high school. Holy fuck, what is this
- 17:28Speaker 1: like shared human experience? It's why like AI is so
- 17:32Speaker 1: fucked up, and it's why the social media algorithm feels
- 17:37Speaker 1: so isolating because like in the world of either like
- 17:41Speaker 1: weird perfectionism or like shitty content, where like things are
- 17:46Speaker 1: devoid of meaning for you know, clicks or likes, we
- 17:52Speaker 1: we like, you know, let the capacity to connect like decay,
- 18:00Speaker 1: and I find it like sad depressing, certainly isolating. But
- 18:06Speaker 1: at the same time, I like make it a cheap
- 18:09Speaker 1: goal of mine to, you know, make sure that I'm
- 18:13Speaker 1: counteracting that by facilitating as many moments of connection that
- 18:19Speaker 1: I possibly can. Even though I told you that I
- 18:21Speaker 1: don't do any sports with like co ed people in
- 18:25Speaker 1: part one, but even then, that's like probably why I'm
- 18:28Speaker 1: saying I should probably try some of that, because maybe
- 18:33Speaker 1: there is a thing, you know, I would like to
- 18:35Speaker 1: experience about like oh, physically exerting myself with a group
- 18:38Speaker 1: of people over and over again, and then becoming friends
- 18:40Speaker 1: with them in that way, which I guess is sports, right,
- 18:43Speaker 1: Like that's what happened in sports. This is really the
- 18:46Speaker 1: most Theater kids conversation ever. I'm like, I don't know
- 18:48Speaker 1: what that's like anyway. So that's why, like everything that
- 18:54Speaker 1: she says about herself just feels so anti religious, anti
- 19:00Speaker 1: spiritual to me, Like for who she is, I find
- 19:04Speaker 1: her to be like devoid of spirit so far. And
- 19:08Speaker 1: that's like another reason why I think she's like not
- 19:11Speaker 1: connected to reality enough to obviously see this. She's about
- 19:14Speaker 1: to be scammed, Okay, so obviously the lawyer's like, well,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna set up don't worry the next part of
- 19:23Speaker 1: the season for the producers by saying that the only
- 19:26Speaker 1: like viable option is for you to get a spousal petition,
- 19:29Speaker 1: which means you would have to go to Nigeria and
- 19:31Speaker 1: get married. And Rod's like no, and the lawyer's like, yeah,
- 19:33Speaker 1: that's not what TLC said. I'm going to give her
- 19:36Speaker 1: her options. I got to make sure the next part
- 19:39Speaker 1: of the season happens. And Rod, I mean, Rod, listen,
- 19:43Speaker 1: you've been her godbrother this whole time. If she is
- 19:46Speaker 1: in the place she is is in, which is about
- 19:49Speaker 1: to get scammed by Maxwell and Nigeria, then you've already lost.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Like you could have righted this ship with Juliet years ago,
- 19:55Speaker 1: you know, but you didn't. So I mean, at this point,
- 19:58Speaker 1: just watch the fireburn. Okay, let's move on to Debbie.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Debbie's new Honey. We haven't seen Debbie yet, but Debbie's
- 20:04Speaker 1: from Nola. You know, She's from that New Orleans, you know,
- 20:07Speaker 1: or as I said in jokingly, and a real Nolins.
- 20:11Speaker 1: And people came from me because they don't know I'm
- 20:12Speaker 1: a comedian and think that I'm just going to always
- 20:14Speaker 1: say Dolins like that New Orleans, New Orleans, honey, There's
- 20:16Speaker 1: many different ways to say it. I don't care. I
- 20:19Speaker 1: have fun. Debbie has a dog named lily Bit, and
- 20:23Speaker 1: lily Bit, we know is the Queen's nickname, and also
- 20:28Speaker 1: like the name of the daughter of Megan Markle and
- 20:32Speaker 1: Prince Harry, and also like one of the four hundred
- 20:34Speaker 1: and billion different versions of Elizabeth. Anyway, she works in insurance,
- 20:40Speaker 1: like I said, and one of the first things she
- 20:41Speaker 1: says is she has metrics to hit, which means like
- 20:44Speaker 1: her job is to like upsell people on insurance, which
- 20:48Speaker 1: is depressing to me because yeah, it just a bunch
- 20:52Speaker 1: of scenes are being like, hey, I don't know if
- 20:54Speaker 1: you have enough insurance and you would have to have more,
- 20:57Speaker 1: you know, body harm insurance. Are you prepared for the disasters?
- 21:01Speaker 1: I make sure that you are spending seven hundred thousand
- 21:04Speaker 1: dollars on insurance all the time and making sure I
- 21:06Speaker 1: can get more LV toats. You know, It's just she
- 21:09Speaker 1: seems a little like money grabby like that. But so
- 21:12Speaker 1: she's living her life and all those extra insurance bonuses
- 21:17Speaker 1: got her to go to Egypt with her daughter. And
- 21:20Speaker 1: when she was in Egypt, she was touring one of
- 21:22Speaker 1: the pyramids with her tour guide who was flirting with
- 21:25Speaker 1: her and she didn't get it. So her daughter was like,
- 21:27Speaker 1: he's flirting with me and she's like, no, I don't
- 21:28Speaker 1: think so, and then he kissed her on the tour,
- 21:33Speaker 1: which I thought was weird. So many people on ninety
- 21:40Speaker 1: day work in tourism, so many jolly pirates, so many hankies, bankies,
- 21:46Speaker 1: so many people that are like you know, activities directors
- 21:48Speaker 1: at inclusive resort so many tour guides just you know, interesting.
- 21:53Speaker 1: So then we meet Meto. While we talk about Meto,
- 21:57Speaker 1: Meto is an Egyptian movie star, actor, model, and Debby's
- 22:05Speaker 1: really quick to be like, he has thousands, hundreds of
- 22:08Speaker 1: thousands of Instagram followers, So that's how I know that
- 22:11Speaker 1: he's legit. Now me, your girl went on Instagram and
- 22:18Speaker 1: I found him his name. He has two Instagram accounts
- 22:24Speaker 1: that he runs. One is Meto fayeed Official and he
- 22:28Speaker 1: has around six hundred and sixty eight thousand followers. And
- 22:33Speaker 1: he also runs another account that's called Meto Fayeede Official
- 22:37Speaker 1: Fan and he tags both accounts in his posts all
- 22:42Speaker 1: the time. Now his postsar suspect. His latest post, which
- 22:50Speaker 1: was like in May, is him on a motorcycle and
- 22:55Speaker 1: for six hundred and sixty nine thousand followers, he has
- 23:02Speaker 1: four comments. And this was this screenshot I did was
- 23:12Speaker 1: on Saturday, May sixteenth, so he already was on an
- 23:19Speaker 1: episode like they premiered talking about him on the internet.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Four comments, six d and sixty nine thousand followers. Now,
- 23:27Speaker 1: someone who works in insurance, I'm assuming knows basic math. Now,
- 23:33Speaker 1: there's not a way on God's green Earth that you
- 23:36Speaker 1: would only have four comments if you had that many
- 23:39Speaker 1: actual human followers. But Debbie can get the wool pulled
- 23:44Speaker 1: over her eyes, just like she likes to pull the
- 23:46Speaker 1: wool over people's eyes by selling them too much insurance.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I don't know why her daughter or someone isn't like,
- 23:52Speaker 1: oh babe. There's such a thing as an engagement rate,
- 23:56Speaker 1: and someone who has that many followers would have a
- 23:58Speaker 1: lot more fucking comments on like their pictures, his other
- 24:01Speaker 1: pictures are random af Some pictures just are him putting
- 24:08Speaker 1: on a coat in a store and taking a picture
- 24:11Speaker 1: of him and the coat in the store, not buying
- 24:13Speaker 1: the coat. There is a whole weird, horribly lit photoshoot
- 24:19Speaker 1: in a dressing room. By the way, his latest post.
- 24:24Speaker 1: By the way, all of his posts seemingly up to date.
- 24:28Speaker 1: They're all in Egypt. Not one post is in America.
- 24:32Speaker 1: So I don't know if he didn't see an NDA
- 24:35Speaker 1: or whatnot, but he's definitely not giving the vibe that
- 24:38Speaker 1: he lives in America. His last post is like calling
- 24:41Speaker 1: himself a CEO and co founder of mom Mom Golden
- 24:46Speaker 1: Pyramid's view in I love that it's called mom so
- 24:53Speaker 1: spoiler alert, I don't think he makes it to America
- 24:56Speaker 1: or he didn't stay that long. He definitely doesn't give
- 24:58Speaker 1: up the tourism life. Also, how many movie stars, I mean,
- 25:02Speaker 1: just think about this way. Do you think Tom Cruise,
- 25:05Speaker 1: Do you think like Jacob Alordi? Do you think that
- 25:07Speaker 1: like Timothy Shallomey does tourist work as a tourist guide.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Do you think they're like taking groups around to Niagara Falls?
- 25:19Speaker 1: That's just basic common sense, right Most movie stars don't
- 25:24Speaker 1: want to be around a bunch of people, and especially tourists.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I mean that's not I mean, help me help Like
- 25:41Speaker 1: you met someone as a tour guide and do you
- 25:43Speaker 1: think that they're a famous movie star but they need
- 25:47Speaker 1: to make extra money or they just love Egypt so
- 25:49Speaker 1: much they can't wait to talk about the pyramids with
- 25:51Speaker 1: Americans and like drunk people from Amsterdam, Like what that's
- 25:59Speaker 1: so bananas? That is like, I mean, she really is
- 26:02Speaker 1: not on God's you know, green earth. I know keeps
- 26:04Speaker 1: like her feet are not on this ground. I wonder why,
- 26:08Speaker 1: why is? Why are debbies so bananas? And I wonder
- 26:12Speaker 1: if there's parts of the casting people for ninety Day
- 26:15Speaker 1: that like Brumma just through phone books and like the
- 26:17Speaker 1: minute they call they see a Debbie, they just like
- 26:20Speaker 1: call that person, and that person sounds at all wacky.
- 26:22Speaker 1: They're like, I have a show for you. Okay. So
- 26:27Speaker 1: she's never seen us work because he's like it's an
- 26:29Speaker 1: Arabic and it's also because he doesn't work. And one
- 26:32Speaker 1: phone call we see he's like, I have to bring
- 26:35Speaker 1: tuna fish and she's like, we have tuna fish here, babe,
- 26:39Speaker 1: and then he's like just kidding, okay, ohr TABETI also,
- 26:42Speaker 1: will you print my head shots for me? Why? Why
- 26:46Speaker 1: do you need her to print headshots before you even
- 26:48Speaker 1: land here? Also, the head shots are not headshots. They're
- 26:51Speaker 1: like weird shots of him in sunglasses, and I'll tell
- 26:56Speaker 1: you right now that like that's not a headshot. And
- 26:59Speaker 1: you know who knows that. Her daughter. She's like, I
- 27:04Speaker 1: just want you to be proud of me, and the
- 27:06Speaker 1: daughter's like a yeah, she's like you and your brother,
- 27:08Speaker 1: and you know, she's like, well, my brother won't film,
- 27:11Speaker 1: he's so embarrassed. So Debbie just really thinks that Meto
- 27:17Speaker 1: is hot af She's like, the camera loves him, and
- 27:19Speaker 1: we're like, well that's that's not true. The camera really,
- 27:27Speaker 1: you know, shows a version of him that we feel
- 27:30Speaker 1: like makes a scene and the camera only certainly like
- 27:33Speaker 1: tolerates him a little bit. So the daughter also brings
- 27:39Speaker 1: up the fact that there's some weird sketchiness because you know,
- 27:42Speaker 1: he posts a bunch of shitty ass things, but never
- 27:45Speaker 1: anything about Debbie. We also find out that Meto does
- 27:50Speaker 1: not like dogs in the bed and that he had
- 27:55Speaker 1: told her that dogs in the house is This is
- 28:00Speaker 1: how she says it, quote unquote horam, it's holram. And
- 28:07Speaker 1: I'll tell you, as a person that barely speaks Arabic,
- 28:11Speaker 1: Horam is hoddam. I guess if you really want to
- 28:17Speaker 1: like angle size the word, you can. I'll get by
- 28:19Speaker 1: with someone saying haram, but it's not horam. And if
- 28:26Speaker 1: you can kind of roll that ot, it's hudam. Anyway.
- 28:30Speaker 1: So we also get makeup shots of her putting on
- 28:36Speaker 1: her face in the vanity, so let's talk about it.
- 28:39Speaker 1: She has like an LV makeup bag, She has a
- 28:42Speaker 1: Chanelle powder, She has two different bottles of do Your Perfume,
- 28:48Speaker 1: and it looks like miss Mussurie that kind you know
- 28:52Speaker 1: I'm talking about. She also has some weird dumb Dalmatian
- 28:55Speaker 1: and she also has the Mario Bidescu rose spray. And
- 28:59Speaker 1: then in a different shot we can see that she
- 29:02Speaker 1: uses a naked palate by Urban Decay. Two different mirrors. Okay,
- 29:11Speaker 1: oh yeah, Deafen's her daughter. I forgot Deafens her daughter.
- 29:13Speaker 1: So she's putting on makeup and then honey, she goes
- 29:16Speaker 1: to like the most famous tourist spot. She loves tourist
- 29:20Speaker 1: spots in New Orleans, which is well, there's a lot
- 29:23Speaker 1: of them. I guess Bourbon Street's one of them. But
- 29:25Speaker 1: you know around Bourbon Streets, Cafe du Mal, Cafe du Mal,
- 29:28Speaker 1: honeywhere they have beignets, and beignets are the chosen people Asia.
- 29:34Speaker 1: There's nothing more chosen by God than Benet's. Beignets are
- 29:37Speaker 1: so good, just fried dough, hot from the oven, just
- 29:42Speaker 1: powdered sugar. Mum she yum. I guess like funnel cakes
- 29:47Speaker 1: are supposed to be like beignets, but like beignets are
- 29:50Speaker 1: soft on the inside. Oh my god, kathe do Mom's
- 29:55Speaker 1: open twenty four hours a day, so you can always
- 29:56Speaker 1: get beignet and they're always coming out fresh. And everyone
- 29:59Speaker 1: who goes to Cafe Do Mo that the first time,
- 30:00Speaker 1: at least is like, you know what I am. I do.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna buy some of this mix, Honey, I'm gonna
- 30:04Speaker 1: take it home and I'm gonna make some fresh beignets
- 30:06Speaker 1: back in my home in California. And then just sits
- 30:08Speaker 1: on your that dry mix just sits in your pantry.
- 30:10Speaker 1: You never use it. Why because it's like very rare
- 30:13Speaker 1: for people to have full on deep fryers. It's actually
- 30:16Speaker 1: very difficult to just like deep fry a bunch of things.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I mean, I guess people do it, but like I don't,
- 30:23Speaker 1: and I don't think you can like air fry a beignet?
- 30:26Speaker 1: Can you? You can't air fry a bannye? Can you? You? Guys?
- 30:31Speaker 1: Can you air fry a beignet? Half of me wants
- 30:35Speaker 1: to google it right now because of ADHD. Neither half
- 30:37Speaker 1: of me feels like I should move on, but I'll
- 30:39Speaker 1: talk about it. Maybe I'm Patreon, I can like consider
- 30:42Speaker 1: how to air air fry a beigne. Oh anyway, So
- 30:47Speaker 1: she meets her friends, her two friends, and they're there
- 30:51Speaker 1: and they're suspect. They're like, this is weird. She's like, yeah,
- 30:54Speaker 1: you know, there's some weird things. I gotta like, you know,
- 30:56Speaker 1: tell you guys. First of all, he's a virgin, and
- 31:00Speaker 1: her friends are like what, Like, yeah, he's forty one,
- 31:05Speaker 1: so he's one year past forty year old virgin. He's
- 31:07Speaker 1: forty one. He's a virgin. Now. Someone in my comments
- 31:12Speaker 1: was like, you know what, that's what all Egyptian men say.
- 31:16Speaker 1: That's the way they get you in bed to be
- 31:17Speaker 1: like I've been a virgin this whole time. You're like, wow,
- 31:20Speaker 1: you so especially been waiting for me. And then like
- 31:22Speaker 1: they know now they're just saying that they get you
- 31:23Speaker 1: in bed to like on to the next I'm a virgin,
- 31:26Speaker 1: you know, God bless. The friends also are like whoa,
- 31:30Speaker 1: that seems crazy, but like, you know, they hold their
- 31:32Speaker 1: face in this moment. But later on we get the
- 31:36Speaker 1: best moment of the episode. The producers talk to their
- 31:42Speaker 1: friends and they're like, hey, were you surprised when Debbie
- 31:48Speaker 1: said that Meto was a virgin and he couldn't get
- 31:53Speaker 1: the question mark dot to land before. Her friend was
- 31:57Speaker 1: like yeah, because I'm a slut. She said it so
- 32:02Speaker 1: fast her friend next to her like almost pissed her parts.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I loved it. Oh, I was just like, oh my god,
- 32:12Speaker 1: please please if this production cared about me at all.
- 32:15Speaker 1: The next scene would be like followed these two two
- 32:19Speaker 1: Fisherman Street, or at least to that carousel bar that
- 32:22Speaker 1: slowly turns around as you sit at it. Like these
- 32:24Speaker 1: are New Orleans places, and let's have like a very
- 32:27Speaker 1: real conversation with them where they talk about this and
- 32:30Speaker 1: Debbie can go back home money she needs to sell
- 32:32Speaker 1: more insurance for more, like you know, Chanel, I love
- 32:35Speaker 1: that's like yeah, I later on she's like, I fuck
- 32:40Speaker 1: after the third date, and I'm like, girl, you fuck
- 32:43Speaker 1: on the first night, you fuck after the first drink. Okay,
- 32:47Speaker 1: I mean get correct, Okay. So a thing that Debbie
- 32:52Speaker 1: does I also hate is like, there's also this bitch.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I didn't tell you about this bitch on social media.
- 32:57Speaker 1: And I guess what happened was, you know, he'd doesn't
- 33:00Speaker 1: post about Debbie because you know, he's so busy with
- 33:02Speaker 1: his like acting posts and taking pictures of himself in
- 33:05Speaker 1: different dressing rooms, and he had posted with some other lady,
- 33:10Speaker 1: and she's mad at the lady about that. Why why
- 33:16Speaker 1: know why? It's what I said in part one. We
- 33:19Speaker 1: live in a patriarchal world where women are very quick
- 33:22Speaker 1: to like jump down other women's throats for no reason
- 33:25Speaker 1: when the men are doing workshit. Why isn't she just
- 33:29Speaker 1: mad at Medo? Why is it that lady's fault? Why
- 33:32Speaker 1: is that lady a bitch? You think that girl knows
- 33:34Speaker 1: about you? No, No, she doesn't, Debbie, she doesn't buy
- 33:39Speaker 1: into your insurance fraud. What are you talking about? So crazy?
- 33:45Speaker 1: So then we get like a really shitty scene where
- 33:49Speaker 1: she's crying. Now she's back on our bed, She's crying.
- 33:51Speaker 1: I don't know where that dumation is. Lily bits like
- 33:53Speaker 1: hiding in the corner and she's like, it's one day
- 33:56Speaker 1: before he's supposed to leave, and I fear it's all
- 33:58Speaker 1: falling apart. He says, his father isn't well. I don't
- 34:02Speaker 1: know what the prognosis is, but you know, sometimes he
- 34:05Speaker 1: does this thing where he does no contact mode and
- 34:08Speaker 1: I don't hear from him for like two to three days,
- 34:11Speaker 1: and I'm like, times four, you don't hear from him
- 34:15Speaker 1: like two weeks. So then we get another phone call,
- 34:18Speaker 1: final like a FaceTime with him, and he is very
- 34:23Speaker 1: dismissive and rude to her, wildly mean to her. She's like, hey, baby,
- 34:30Speaker 1: how are you? And he's like, shut up, how you
- 34:32Speaker 1: know how I'm doing the fuck you talking about stupid?
- 34:36Speaker 1: Like you're just like what. She's like, I'm just trying
- 34:39Speaker 1: to be there for you. And he's like, well, you
- 34:41Speaker 1: can be there for me by leaving me alone for
- 34:45Speaker 1: fourteen days. That's how you can leave me alone for
- 34:49Speaker 1: two weeks. She's like, okay, I'm sorry about your dad,
- 34:56Speaker 1: but I just don't know exactly what you could do
- 34:58Speaker 1: for him. He's like, well, we for the doctor to come.
- 35:01Speaker 1: It's gonna be two weeks. And I'm like, well, i'll
- 35:02Speaker 1: tell you right now that if you were a big
- 35:03Speaker 1: ass movie star, that doctor would be there. You don't
- 35:07Speaker 1: live in like the podunks of Egypt. You live in Cairo.
- 35:09Speaker 1: That's where the pyramids are. There's doctors, I know, Egyptian doctors.
- 35:13Speaker 1: There's you know, Egyptian doctors. There's a lot of you know.
- 35:17Speaker 1: It's yeah. So he's like, I told you what I need.
- 35:23Speaker 1: I need to leave me alone. She's like, okay, babe,
- 35:25Speaker 1: well what do I call Delta and see if I
- 35:28Speaker 1: can move your flight? And he's like that can yeah,
- 35:31Speaker 1: do that make yourself useful? Stupid woman, stupid old woman,
- 35:35Speaker 1: Like it's so mean, it's so shitty. It's not how
- 35:38Speaker 1: you would ever want anyone to come. I mean, yeah,
- 35:42Speaker 1: she's just begging, begging for him to like be nice
- 35:47Speaker 1: to her, and he is only too happy to be
- 35:51Speaker 1: wildly shitty in a very like dismissive avoidant, if not
- 35:56Speaker 1: like just downright aggressively, yeah, just cruel way. I'm like,
- 36:05Speaker 1: if that daughter was here to hear that, I'd be like,
- 36:08Speaker 1: you're not coming. I hate him. I hate him. I
- 36:19Speaker 1: hate him. I think he's gross. I don't like his personality.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I hate his face. I think he's hideous. I don't
- 36:29Speaker 1: like him. I wish I could, you know, I almost
- 36:36Speaker 1: want to curse in Arabic, like, but it'd be like
- 36:38Speaker 1: a Levantine Arabic and Egyptian Arabic is like somewhat different.
- 36:42Speaker 1: But you know, bush desk, So anyway doesn't look good.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Let's move on to Marissa. Now. I have to say Carmen,
- 36:55Speaker 1: who is a lovely podcast listener and she's also YouTube
- 37:00Speaker 1: and she's also on Instagram, thank you so much for
- 37:01Speaker 1: following me at Chris el Fara all the places Carmen
- 37:04Speaker 1: always posts. And my friend Carmen says something about Marissa
- 37:08Speaker 1: that I cannot unsea, which is that Marissa looks just
- 37:13Speaker 1: like Lindsay Lohan's mom looks just like her, looks identical
- 37:20Speaker 1: to Lindsay Lowhans, maybe like like a svelt like even
- 37:28Speaker 1: more spelt first. And she's a tiny she's you know, tiny,
- 37:30Speaker 1: but like so Lindsay Lohanni Mommy, Yeah, I'm just like
- 37:37Speaker 1: the same face, same bone structure, like same hair, you know,
- 37:41Speaker 1: like same vibe. It's wild. Okay. Also, I did a
- 37:46Speaker 1: reel a deep dive into Marissa, and this also I
- 37:51Speaker 1: think was on Reddit. Low key, I don't think she
- 37:54Speaker 1: works at Kleinfelds anymore. In fact, her Lincoln and her
- 37:59Speaker 1: Instagram and bio makes no reference to Kleinfeldts. And she
- 38:05Speaker 1: also now calls herself a former COO and like consultant
- 38:13Speaker 1: business strategist. So I don't know what happened there, but
- 38:19Speaker 1: get to it. Okay, let's pick up. She has fifty
- 38:22Speaker 1: fifty custody, which at this point she's happy about because
- 38:25Speaker 1: she you know, lives half the time in Pennsylvania and
- 38:28Speaker 1: she gets to go to like her life in New
- 38:29Speaker 1: York City, which now I'm like, I wonder if she
- 38:31Speaker 1: lives in New York City more if she just like
- 38:32Speaker 1: sold that place. And Noll's in Pennsylvania. So anyway, she
- 38:38Speaker 1: says she's hap sorry, I hope you can hear that. Bet.
- 38:41Speaker 1: She's happier in Pennsylvania. And we see her home. It's beautiful,
- 38:45Speaker 1: like a traditional brick home, and we meet her two sons.
- 38:48Speaker 1: There is Derek eleven and Cole that's ten. She's like,
- 38:51Speaker 1: they look so different, and at first I was like,
- 38:53Speaker 1: it was the dad, the same dad, but I think
- 38:55Speaker 1: they are. One has brown hair and one has blonde hair.
- 39:00Speaker 1: And I also realized Cole and Marissa both wear across
- 39:03Speaker 1: around their neck. So just putting that out there, I think, yeah,
- 39:06Speaker 1: Lindsay Lohan's Italian, so is Marissa Italian? I think Italian Catholics. Anyway,
- 39:16Speaker 1: she after she hangs out with her sons, we have like,
- 39:19Speaker 1: you know, a kitchen talk, and I like her sons
- 39:21Speaker 1: a lot. They're like really super cute and also very communicative.
- 39:27Speaker 1: So Cole, the younger one, is super excited. He's like,
- 39:31Speaker 1: I can't wait for Edward to get there. And we're like,
- 39:34Speaker 1: oh cute, great, and he's like because then I get
- 39:38Speaker 1: a dog and we're like and he's like, yeah, mom,
- 39:43Speaker 1: you said, when Edward gets here, we get a dog.
- 39:44Speaker 1: So you so you are so none of this excitement
- 39:47Speaker 1: has to do with Edward's just the dog. And then
- 39:50Speaker 1: Marissa's like, well I don't know about that yet, and
- 39:52Speaker 1: they're like, well that pitious, But you said, you said
- 39:55Speaker 1: that you want us to be happy for Edward to
- 39:57Speaker 1: get there, and we will be if you get us
- 39:58Speaker 1: a dog. And if he gets, you know, into America
- 40:01Speaker 1: and we don't have a golden lab at our feet,
- 40:04Speaker 1: we're gonna be pissed. Also, you know that lowki happened
- 40:10Speaker 1: to me after my parents got divorced. My dad got
- 40:13Speaker 1: me a dog. This was the eighties, Like, he got
- 40:15Speaker 1: a dog from a silent auction. It was a Sheetsu
- 40:18Speaker 1: and it was a Sheetsu puffy and puppy. I named
- 40:20Speaker 1: it Fluffy. I love that dog so much, And you know,
- 40:22Speaker 1: I think that it was low key away from me
- 40:24Speaker 1: to get over the divorce, and you know it worked, hahaha,
- 40:26Speaker 1: but no, just kidding. I love that dog. And then
- 40:29Speaker 1: we moved into my grandma's house and my dad was like, oh,
- 40:32Speaker 1: the dog can't come. Grandma can't doesn't want the dog,
- 40:34Speaker 1: and so he gave the dog away it's like one
- 40:36Speaker 1: of the trauma and holes in my heart. And that
- 40:38Speaker 1: was also fucked up because my grandma like had a
- 40:40Speaker 1: dog for years and that dog was named Poopy, and
- 40:42Speaker 1: my grandma loved that dog. So my grandma surly surely
- 40:46Speaker 1: would have loved Fluffy. And also why did she name
- 40:48Speaker 1: it poopy. I don't know the answer to any of
- 40:51Speaker 1: the questions, okay, but that's my trauma anyway. So I'm like,
- 40:56Speaker 1: you better get cold this goddamn dog. I Also, people
- 41:00Speaker 1: get mad when I say that those two words together
- 41:03Speaker 1: gd goddamn. And I don't get why people get mad
- 41:07Speaker 1: at me, because even the sentence structure is obvious that
- 41:13Speaker 1: the subject God is doing a verb damning something else.
- 41:17Speaker 1: There's never a we all understand English, and certainly so
- 41:22Speaker 1: does Josh. I'm not saying DG. I'm not damning bad person. Like,
- 41:28Speaker 1: it doesn't make any sense why people get so mad
- 41:30Speaker 1: at me about that. I think that's a weird thing.
- 41:32Speaker 1: You have to like write in yourself, also learn grammar. Okay,
- 41:36Speaker 1: So this is where Derek, her older son, says something
- 41:43Speaker 1: that I find really mature. He's like, you know, we've
- 41:47Speaker 1: only like been knowing of Edward for a year. And
- 41:51Speaker 1: when you told me that Edward was going to move
- 41:54Speaker 1: in with us, I had a weird reaction in my body.
- 42:00Speaker 1: That's not something that I would know to say at
- 42:02Speaker 1: eleven years old. Like I you know, I had to
- 42:09Speaker 1: watch my dad date half of Newport Beach when I
- 42:14Speaker 1: was young, and I didn't say shit about it. I
- 42:16Speaker 1: mean I did, I really did. I said whatever to him,
- 42:20Speaker 1: And I would just talk so much about all these
- 42:21Speaker 1: women to like my friends. But like I wouldn't have
- 42:24Speaker 1: the emotional maturity to be like dad. When you bring
- 42:28Speaker 1: over someone certain someone in my house or when you
- 42:31Speaker 1: put up pictures of this person in the home, I
- 42:32Speaker 1: have a weird reaction in my body. It just like
- 42:34Speaker 1: it's a I feel like it signifies someone who has
- 42:37Speaker 1: like a mind body connection at an age and also
- 42:41Speaker 1: like recognizes that something makes him feel uncomfortable. Marissa's like, oh, well,
- 42:48Speaker 1: I can see that I've never introduced you guys to
- 42:51Speaker 1: someone I'm dating in real life. But then Derek says something,
- 42:54Speaker 1: But I also thought interesting. He asks his mom, will
- 42:58Speaker 1: Edward have money when he comes? This is a person
- 43:01Speaker 1: that's eleven, And when he asked that, I was like,
- 43:04Speaker 1: that feels like a question or a subject that he
- 43:08Speaker 1: heard his dad talk about, like oh, Edward's gonna come
- 43:12Speaker 1: and like, you know, be sponging off your mom or
- 43:17Speaker 1: and or he's used to his mom talking about money
- 43:21Speaker 1: in a way who has it, who doesn't and her
- 43:27Speaker 1: having more than enough. Marissa has already like laid the
- 43:31Speaker 1: groundwork that she thinks her life is more important, more cultured,
- 43:35Speaker 1: more experienced than Edward, and that her problems are more important,
- 43:40Speaker 1: bigger than his. You know that she that she finds
- 43:43Speaker 1: him to be somewhat you know, cutesy wootsie with how
- 43:46Speaker 1: little money he has and how her world is, you know,
- 43:49Speaker 1: such a high powered bridal executive and she makes millions,
- 43:52Speaker 1: like she has already given that vibe. And so for
- 43:55Speaker 1: her son to ask will he have money when he comes?
- 43:58Speaker 1: I thought it was an interesting question because like that's
- 44:03Speaker 1: like not one of the questions I would think a
- 44:05Speaker 1: child would know about if a person had money or
- 44:08Speaker 1: not in that way, you know what I mean? What
- 44:17Speaker 1: I think, like it's surprising is like not being like
- 44:22Speaker 1: do we have to listen to him if he like
- 44:24Speaker 1: says something to us? Or do we defer to you?
- 44:27Speaker 1: And I wondered the next question that he asks is
- 44:31Speaker 1: is he going to get an allowance? And RSA's like yeah, yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 1: And then I wonder like, are you asking that because
- 44:40Speaker 1: you also get an allowance, and then you can make you,
- 44:43Speaker 1: you know, make it sure that you're all on the
- 44:44Speaker 1: same peer level, Like Edward won't be able to give
- 44:48Speaker 1: or tell you shit what to do if you're all
- 44:51Speaker 1: getting an allowance by mommy, because then you're all on
- 44:54Speaker 1: the same level. Yeah. I thought it was so interesting,
- 44:58Speaker 1: like this money talk with these kids. It's like, yeah,
- 45:01Speaker 1: He's like, it's a weird feeling to have him come
- 45:04Speaker 1: in my body, and Cole's like, I want a dog,
- 45:06Speaker 1: and then they start talking about money. Risu's like, well,
- 45:12Speaker 1: in the dr they make in a month, when would
- 45:13Speaker 1: I make in a well when I make in a moment,
- 45:17Speaker 1: you know, but other people a week here, you know,
- 45:20Speaker 1: like there's just a billion other subjects of like how
- 45:25Speaker 1: Edward's going to fit in the family where his financial
- 45:30Speaker 1: his financial situation wouldn't be like the forefront of my
- 45:33Speaker 1: list as a little kid. But yeah, I think it's
- 45:36Speaker 1: indicative of the world these kids live in, which is
- 45:38Speaker 1: maybe like Marissa and her ex's way of viewing the world.
- 45:43Speaker 1: By the way, I made a mistake because when we
- 45:47Speaker 1: first saw a picture of Marissa and her ex, her
- 45:49Speaker 1: ex had a hat on, and I was like, Oh,
- 45:50Speaker 1: the ex is hot. And in this episode we saw
- 45:54Speaker 1: or maybe I think it's like the previews for the
- 45:57Speaker 1: next episode, we saw Marisa's ex Sam's hat and guess what,
- 46:02Speaker 1: not hot. I take it back, not hot. And I'm
- 46:06Speaker 1: not saying bald men are unattractive and fine. In fact,
- 46:09Speaker 1: I find balding to be balding mean to be like hot.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I like it a lot, but I don't like the
- 46:14Speaker 1: shape of his head. I don't like it. It's not
- 46:17Speaker 1: for me. He also like has a weird mean face,
- 46:22Speaker 1: Like without the hat, he looks scary. Can I have
- 46:28Speaker 1: an allowance? Anyway? I wonder what happened to Marissa and
- 46:34Speaker 1: Kleinfeld's I'm dying to know. I wonder if it's like
- 46:35Speaker 1: something that's revealed on the show, or, like I said,
- 46:38Speaker 1: in the real if like Clinfeld saw episode one, it
- 46:40Speaker 1: was like, you went to work and just talked about
- 46:43Speaker 1: your lover's d to a bunch of the associates. That's
- 46:46Speaker 1: not fucking appropriate. No, you're fired. Also, she only got
- 46:51Speaker 1: hired in like twenty twenty one, so she didn't work
- 46:53Speaker 1: through that long. Also, she was an executive of David's
- 46:55Speaker 1: Bridle beforehand. Okay, it's a lot more client field information
- 46:59Speaker 1: than than you needed. But you know what, I want
- 47:01Speaker 1: you to be a well rounded listener, and those are
- 47:04Speaker 1: the things you'll get from me. You're weird friend that
