- 0:51Speaker 1: Scott clin Dinnon is here. We're gonna hear a postgame
- 0:53Speaker 1: Bucky and Mallory is here with us with some entertainment news.
- 0:58Speaker 1: The SEC teleconference call today with the coaches was newsworthy.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Mike Elko used part of the time saying we've got
- 1:07Speaker 1: to figure out how to reward SEC teams for playing
- 1:09Speaker 1: the SEC because we're not going to be rewarded for
- 1:13Speaker 1: strength of schedule and we're not going to be rewarded
- 1:15Speaker 1: for strength of record. Then it's become really really challenging
- 1:19Speaker 1: with us to nine SEC games figure out how the
- 1:22Speaker 1: best teams are going to get into the playoffs. Elkohl
- 1:27Speaker 1: also said Bryce Anderson is not quite ready. He said
- 1:32Speaker 1: he's not completely back, He's getting close at this point.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I don't think it would be in Bryce's best interest
- 1:37Speaker 1: to play in one of these two games. Steve Sarksian
- 1:44Speaker 1: used his pulpit today to say I'm not going anywhere.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Sarkisian opened his appearance by saying, I'd like to comment
- 1:53Speaker 1: on something before I get into our team, something that's
- 1:56Speaker 1: been bothering me over the last few weeks that people's
- 2:00Speaker 1: reporting or insinuating there's a possibility I could leave the
- 2:03Speaker 1: University of Texas, and that is absolutely false and untrue.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I'm not going anywhere. Never do I do this because
- 2:11Speaker 1: I never want to be a distraction, so I never
- 2:13Speaker 1: want to address these things. But at this point I
- 2:15Speaker 1: feel it's important I do it because it's important for
- 2:18Speaker 1: our team, it's important for our university. In other words,
- 2:22Speaker 1: the recruiting trail. I've had no discussions, not with my agent,
- 2:26Speaker 1: not with the university, not with any other school, not
- 2:29Speaker 1: with any NFL team about ever going anywhere else. I
- 2:33Speaker 1: came here to win championships. I've got two kids enrolled
- 2:37Speaker 1: at the University of Texas, one in law school, one
- 2:39Speaker 1: on her team. I've got a third that hopefully decides
- 2:42Speaker 1: to enroll here next fall. And my wife and I
- 2:45Speaker 1: just had a son here in Austin. This is our home.
- 2:49Speaker 1: We came here to win championships. Lane Kiffin, on the
- 2:53Speaker 1: other hand, didn't say that. Lane said, quote, I love
- 2:57Speaker 1: it here. It's been amazing. We're in the greatest run
- 3:00Speaker 1: in the history of Ole miss At this point, I'm
- 3:03Speaker 1: just living in the moment. After ask if he expects
- 3:08Speaker 1: to coach in the Egg Bowl next week, Kiffin said,
- 3:11Speaker 1: why would I not expect to coach next week? The
- 3:16Speaker 1: College Sports Commission delivered to Power Conference universities today it's
- 3:20Speaker 1: long awaited trademark document requiring schools to waive their right
- 3:25Speaker 1: to file lawsuits against the industry's new enforcement entity. The
- 3:30Speaker 1: eleven page agreement outlines new membership rules for the Power leagues,
- 3:36Speaker 1: including a groundbreaking policy prohibiting all sign these from filing
- 3:40Speaker 1: illegal challenges or supporting and encouraging the filing of lawsuits
- 3:45Speaker 1: against the College Sports Commission over its enforcement decisions. The
- 3:49Speaker 1: agreements intended to bind together sixty eight schools in Big
- 3:53Speaker 1: twelve SECACC in Big Ten. All sixty eight schools have
- 3:58Speaker 1: to sign the document to act VADED as enforceable. They're
- 4:02Speaker 1: given two weeks to sign. College basketball, the Aggies blew
- 4:09Speaker 1: all but one point of a nineteen point lead last
- 4:14Speaker 1: night and hung on down the stretch to beat the
- 4:17Speaker 1: grizz of Montana eighty six eighty one. An m snapped
- 4:23Speaker 1: a two game losing streak. They're now three and two.
- 4:26Speaker 1: They will host the Manhattan Jaspers on Friday night at
- 4:32Speaker 1: Reed Arena. A tiny crowd last night. The official attendance
- 4:40Speaker 1: was six three hundred and four, but it was somewhat
- 4:43Speaker 1: less than half of that. No high major team needs
- 4:47Speaker 1: a player more than Kansas needs Darren Peterson, star freshman,
- 4:51Speaker 1: presumptive number one NBA choice in next summer. He was
- 4:58Speaker 1: not playing due to a hamstream issue in the seventy
- 5:01Speaker 1: eight sixty six lost to Duke last night, but Bill
- 5:05Speaker 1: self said he doesn't think it will be long before
- 5:08Speaker 1: Peterson can play again. He is an hamstring issue. By
- 5:13Speaker 1: the way, Kentucky got slaughtered by Michigan State last night.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Tonight number seven, Michigan hosting Middle Tennessee. The Marquee game
- 5:22Speaker 1: is on FS one. It's Arizona and Yukon, Alabama and
- 5:28Speaker 1: Illinois is the second Marquee game. That one is in
- 5:33Speaker 1: Chicago at the United Center. And Jackson State visits Auburn tonight.
- 5:42Speaker 1: So you got that going for you, which is nice.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Randy Jones has died. The San Diego Padres pitcher won
- 5:52Speaker 1: the nineteen seventy six Cy Young Award. Two time All
- 5:56Speaker 1: Star won twenty games in seventy five let the league
- 6:00Speaker 1: with a two to two four earned run average, second
- 6:03Speaker 1: to Tom Severn the Cy Young voting that year. He
- 6:06Speaker 1: started the All Star Game in nineteen seventy six, and
- 6:12Speaker 1: the NHL Department of Players Safety has decided Stars forward
- 6:18Speaker 1: Miko Rantnan will not receive any supplemental discipline for his
- 6:24Speaker 1: boarding major against the New York Islanders near the end
- 6:28Speaker 1: of last night's game. Rantnan was ejected from the loss
- 6:32Speaker 1: after a serious hit on defenseman Alexander Romanov with less
- 6:36Speaker 1: than a minute left. In regulation. Romanov was helped from
- 6:42Speaker 1: the Icy Islanders, having updated his health other than to
- 6:46Speaker 1: say he did not have to go to the hospital afterward.
- 6:51Speaker 1: It was scary looking, but honestly, after looking at it,
- 6:55Speaker 1: Ranton got a little shoved from behind and Romanov was
- 6:59Speaker 1: already on him his way down when he was pounded
- 7:02Speaker 1: into the boards. It was just it was not a
- 7:05Speaker 1: pretty looking sight. Rantnan said afterward. It was certainly not intentional,
- 7:12Speaker 1: but hey, hockey is a man's sport. So there you go.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Tomorrow tomorrow we'll have a high school report Tomorrow, we'll
- 7:25Speaker 1: hear from Aggie footballers tomorrow we may well, we may
- 7:33Speaker 1: hear from another coach or two in the SEC Tomorrow Fridday,
- 7:39Speaker 1: Kirk Bulls Tony Catalina on the program, So we've got
- 7:44Speaker 1: that going on for us. Oh you know what else, tomorrow,
- 7:49Speaker 1: Freddy Boom Boom Cannon with me tomorrow. I would not
- 7:54Speaker 1: make that up if you immediately thought Pallis Park, Yeah,
- 8:02Speaker 1: that's Freddie Cannon. He will visit with us on the
- 8:06Speaker 1: show tomorrow. Let me let me double check this because
- 8:11Speaker 1: I think Boom Boom has a yeah, a holiday single
- 8:21Speaker 1: redcoat Sanna. So we got that going on for us
- 8:25Speaker 1: just in time for the holiday season. He was a
- 8:31Speaker 1: regular on American Bandstand back in the day, way down
- 8:34Speaker 1: yonder New Orleans. Remember he did that one, Abigail Beacher,
- 8:38Speaker 1: Remember he did that one, Yeah, back in the sixties.
- 8:42Speaker 1: But we will visit with him on the program tomorrow.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So phone the neighbors and wake the kids.
- 8:50Speaker 4: All right.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Final lap is brought to you by Chad Jones Law.
- 8:54Speaker 5: I'm Chad Jones. We know sports injuries hurt, and so
- 8:57Speaker 5: do injuries from car rex. But you didn't sign up
- 9:00Speaker 5: to be in a car wreck with someone who wasn't
- 9:01Speaker 5: paying attention. It was their fault and now you're left
- 9:04Speaker 5: to deal with the consequences. You need to see a doctor,
- 9:07Speaker 5: and you're missing work. Chad Jones Law can help. We've
- 9:09Speaker 5: been helping our neighbors for more than two decades. Stop
- 9:12Speaker 5: getting frustrated with the other side's foot dragging. Remember, don't
- 9:15Speaker 5: get mad. Get Chad. Call Chad Jones Law at ninety
- 9:18Speaker 5: seven nine five to ninety five five thousand, or go
- 9:21Speaker 5: online to Chad Jones Law dot com.
- 9:26Speaker 6: Kyle Larson is looking ahead to the Daytona five hundred.
- 9:29Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know, I mean I think it doesn't
- 9:31Speaker 7: really to me matter, you know how the beginning of
- 9:34Speaker 7: my year kind of goes because to me, like Chili
- 9:36Speaker 7: Wa always feels like the end of the year. Yeah,
- 9:38Speaker 7: it's obviously a race that I would really like to
- 9:40Speaker 7: win someday, but I don't treat it. I try not
- 9:43Speaker 7: to treat it an in differently than any other race.
- 9:45Speaker 7: You know, put the same amount of focus in as others,
- 9:47Speaker 7: and I think as I've gained more experience, it doesn't
- 9:50Speaker 7: feel any bigger than the other races. I think, you know,
- 9:53Speaker 7: kind of like I said, you just treat it the same,
- 9:55Speaker 7: and I think you go in with less not that
- 9:57Speaker 7: I ever have nerves, but uh, anticipation of what might
- 10:00Speaker 7: happen and stuff. So yeah, I feel like we've improved
- 10:03Speaker 7: a lot on Super Speedways as well. I feel like
- 10:05Speaker 7: we're contending, you know, throughout the most parts of the race.
- 10:08Speaker 7: Your ends of the stages into.
- 10:10Speaker 4: The race hasn't quite worked out, but I.
- 10:12Speaker 7: Think if you can keep putting yourself in contention, it'll
- 10:14Speaker 7: it'll work out someday hopefully. So yeah, we'll keep trying
- 10:17Speaker 7: our best and hopefully we can get that last crown
- 10:19Speaker 7: jewel and.
- 10:20Speaker 6: The playoffs could be changing for twenty twenty six.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Here's Kyle with more.
- 10:24Speaker 7: You know, if I could recreate the format, what I
- 10:26Speaker 7: would make it. I think there's probably pros and cons
- 10:29Speaker 7: to every format. You know, it's never gonna, excuse me,
- 10:33Speaker 7: quite please every single person. I think it could have
- 10:37Speaker 7: some differences, though, I would definitely like to be a
- 10:40Speaker 7: part of that panel. I don't know who is a
- 10:41Speaker 7: part of that panel. I would assume the driver Council,
- 10:43Speaker 7: which I'm not a part of. But yeah, I get
- 10:45Speaker 7: into formats and stuff like that in the dirt side,
- 10:47Speaker 7: so I think I would have fun trying to come
- 10:50Speaker 7: up with something.
- 10:51Speaker 8: You're on the final app.
- 10:54Speaker 9: At Bank of America, we asked our teammates what makes

- 12:33Speaker 1: Down in the mud fight the guy remen flood working mad.
- 12:43Speaker 1: That's the new Willie album. Willie sings Merle glad to
- 12:46Speaker 1: have you with us. Scott Glendennon will be along last night.
- 12:55Speaker 1: It's uh mostly quiet, Rita Rita. Aggie's beat Montana eighty
- 13:01Speaker 1: six eighty one. They led by nineteen. Remember the last
- 13:06Speaker 1: game they played last Friday against Central Florida, they led
- 13:09Speaker 1: about fourteen. This time they led by nineteen and coughed
- 13:14Speaker 1: up all but one point of that lead. But Money
- 13:20Speaker 1: Williams the best name in college sports in my mind.
- 13:25Speaker 1: He came in leading the nation as the only player
- 13:28Speaker 1: averaging twenty points, five rebounds, and five assists per day.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Last night, he had five rebounds, he had seven assists.
- 13:39Speaker 1: He had twenty two points. All in the second half,
- 13:45Speaker 1: he hit all eight of his shots. In the second half,
- 13:50Speaker 1: he was zero for three and scoreless.
- 13:52Speaker 4: At the half.
- 13:54Speaker 1: He hit five out of six from three. In fact,
- 13:57Speaker 1: the Grizz made sixty of thirty one three point attempts.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I mean, come on, Anam was seven for twenty three
- 14:11Speaker 1: from the three. I've got to ask Bucky why he
- 14:15Speaker 1: continues to allow rashan Ag to shoot threes. Rashan Ag,
- 14:21Speaker 1: I think this is right. I'll double check, is two
- 14:25Speaker 1: for sixteen. Let me let me look here real quick,
- 14:29Speaker 1: because he was zero for two last night. He's two
- 14:32Speaker 1: for sixteen from three point line. Hear what I said,
- 14:39Speaker 1: Please Rashan, stay in your lane quite shooting threes. That's
- 14:47Speaker 1: not your game. And I know he listens, and I
- 14:51Speaker 1: know he'll take that under advisement. He just can't help it.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Bless his heart.
- 14:57Speaker 1: They keep leaving him open. There's a there's a reason
- 15:01Speaker 1: he's open. Last year, Get out of here, you're a kid.
- 15:07Speaker 1: How many threes did he hit? He was twenty seven
- 15:11Speaker 1: of sixty nine last year. My gosh, Maybe it's the
- 15:16Speaker 1: rims at rit Arena. Maybe that's why he keeps shooting.
- 15:21Speaker 1: He keeps Yeah, he keeps thinking they're going in, but
- 15:26Speaker 1: they're not going in. Wow, that's good to know that.
- 15:31Speaker 1: That gives me a better idea of why he keeps
- 15:34Speaker 1: shooting them when they're not going in anyway. Money was money.
- 15:39Speaker 1: But he fouled out late in the game. And I
- 15:42Speaker 1: believe this with all my heart. Had he not fouled out,
- 15:46Speaker 1: I believe Montana would have won that game. He was
- 15:49Speaker 1: hitting shots that no mortals should be allowed to hit.
- 15:55Speaker 1: They they did decide to cover him late in the
- 15:58Speaker 1: game after he did a few, but it didn't matter.
- 16:01Speaker 1: He was he was still knocking down shots anyway, and
- 16:05Speaker 1: him held on to win. Let's hear from Bucky post
- 16:08Speaker 1: game look the.
- 16:10Speaker 10: Positive that that's actually a heck of a win. I'm
- 16:12Speaker 10: just being real with you. I know Montana may not
- 16:14Speaker 10: look like an SEC name on there, but they go
- 16:18Speaker 10: sixteen to thirty one from three. I don't know if
- 16:22Speaker 10: we could win the game. That is such an astronomical
- 16:24Speaker 10: number for that volume of three point shooting. So it
- 16:27Speaker 10: was great by us to find a way to win
- 16:30Speaker 10: the game, especially when we weren't obviously shooting at a
- 16:32Speaker 10: high clip clip either. We passed the ball well, twenty
- 16:35Speaker 10: two assists on twenty nine turnovers, so a lot of
- 16:39Speaker 10: positives there.
- 16:40Speaker 4: I think the biggest deal is is in that game
- 16:42Speaker 4: where they're.
- 16:43Speaker 10: Making those well, I don't know how you stop some
- 16:46Speaker 10: of those last couple of two or three threes that
- 16:48Speaker 10: they got the money made.
- 16:49Speaker 4: I have no idea how you can.
- 16:51Speaker 10: I thought, we played elite defense and he's getting them off,
- 16:55Speaker 10: and so we're coming back the other way, and we
- 16:57Speaker 10: have all the game pressure in the world on us
- 16:59Speaker 10: to make free three. I mean, you felt it's just
- 17:01Speaker 10: all the game pressure in the world that you look
- 17:03Speaker 10: up and games under control and you blink, and now
- 17:06Speaker 10: we got to make free throws to close the game out,
- 17:08Speaker 10: and I was proud of our guy not being too
- 17:10Speaker 10: cool for school, to go ahead and close it out
- 17:12Speaker 10: right there. You'll see this all around the country. I
- 17:14Speaker 10: think Arkansas won by one versus Winthrop to night. And
- 17:19Speaker 10: when these been major teams are shooting at a high clip,
- 17:21Speaker 10: I've been on the other side of that, they're hard
- 17:23Speaker 10: to stop. So overall our team, particularly without Mac, we
- 17:28Speaker 10: got to be proud and happy with any performance where
- 17:31Speaker 10: we can overcome a hot shooting team like it was it.
- 17:34Speaker 15: Did you ever sense that there was any feeling among
- 17:37Speaker 15: your guys that, you know, oh my gosh, here we
- 17:39Speaker 15: go again, or does the fact that the way you
- 17:42Speaker 15: shot that free throw shows that.
- 17:43Speaker 4: They were calling?
- 17:45Speaker 10: You know, I think some of our guys were in
- 17:47Speaker 10: disbelief that some of those made threes. I do think that,
- 17:50Speaker 10: Like I think they were in disbelief, like what do
- 17:52Speaker 10: we do there? But it's never good when you know,
- 17:56Speaker 10: we get up by nineteen and obviously the gap closes.
- 17:58Speaker 10: But in this to day age of college basketball, look,
- 18:02Speaker 10: I mean, and when eight for thirteen or three the
- 18:05Speaker 10: second half, I mean, you're gonna be right in the
- 18:08Speaker 10: game and that's what we got to understand. Like, I
- 18:12Speaker 10: trust me, guys, I've been on this at Samford. There
- 18:14Speaker 10: is not that big of a gap when teams can
- 18:16Speaker 10: really shoot at a high clip. The gap comes from
- 18:19Speaker 10: the power game, and that if the three point shooting
- 18:22Speaker 10: is neutral ice, then you're gonna win, win at a
- 18:26Speaker 10: pretty significant level as a power pop But when it's not,
- 18:29Speaker 10: it's a great equalizer and basketball. So based on it,
- 18:33Speaker 10: you know, it is what it is, and our guys
- 18:34Speaker 10: can't look at it anything other than let's learn what
- 18:36Speaker 10: we got to get better at. But we got to
- 18:37Speaker 10: look at that and say we did some things right
- 18:39Speaker 10: to find a way there.
- 18:40Speaker 4: How unique is a game like that?
- 18:42Speaker 2: I mean, lead for over thirty eight minutes, only one
- 18:44Speaker 2: lead change, led by nineteen oh one point, and then
- 18:47Speaker 2: you know, one guy gets hot and you guys are
- 18:49Speaker 2: up by one a few minutes.
- 18:50Speaker 8: Like how unique is that?
- 18:52Speaker 10: I mean, I'd be real in the back of my mind,
- 18:54Speaker 10: I was sitting there thinking, like I've seen some of
- 18:57Speaker 10: these games.
- 18:57Speaker 4: I've seen some of the shooting.
- 18:58Speaker 10: We had a team go fourteen to twenty eight here
- 19:00Speaker 10: the other night, I've seen us went one for twelve
- 19:03Speaker 10: from three in the second half of this past game,
- 19:06Speaker 10: and I know what we're capable of shooting. I know
- 19:08Speaker 10: how the other teams capable of shooting as well, because
- 19:10Speaker 10: we scouted them.
- 19:14Speaker 4: He would almost be like watching.
- 19:18Speaker 10: A player in golf knocking two three forty footers in
- 19:22Speaker 10: on you on the putt and green and you have
- 19:24Speaker 10: some good putters and we're missing an eight foot of
- 19:27Speaker 10: rims out somehow. It's like, hold up now, I've just
- 19:29Speaker 10: seen this a couple of games right here. Obviously we
- 19:31Speaker 10: got to cover better at times, but you did have
- 19:34Speaker 10: a feeling of disbelief, like, hey, the heck's.
- 19:36Speaker 4: Going on here? So anyway, for what it's worth, did
- 19:40Speaker 4: you have a.
- 19:40Speaker 16: Sorry relief when money filed out there about ten seconds ago?
- 19:44Speaker 10: I mean, good grief. Maybe a score from the bench
- 19:48Speaker 10: as good as he was shooting. But I mean, that's
- 19:50Speaker 10: why he's getting looks. That's why the NBA. You know,
- 19:53Speaker 10: we had a lot of some NBA scouts here to
- 19:55Speaker 10: night and a lot of them here to watch him.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Yep.
- 19:59Speaker 16: This is a team that they played the NCAA Tournament
- 20:01Speaker 16: last year, picked win their conference.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Do you expect to have that caliber of challenge.
- 20:06Speaker 8: Coming in this one?
- 20:07Speaker 16: Oh?
- 20:07Speaker 10: I mean I told Luke last night, I mean the
- 20:09Speaker 10: radio show, just you know, this will be an very
- 20:14Speaker 10: hard game here. I mean, they went to UNLB beat UNLB.
- 20:18Speaker 10: UNLV just went and beat Memphis in Memphis by double digits.
- 20:22Speaker 10: We know that's the best mid major team we're gonna play.
- 20:24Speaker 10: And they got a culture of winning and have guys
- 20:26Speaker 10: that have been on the team before.
- 20:28Speaker 4: They expect to win.
- 20:29Speaker 10: And you shoot it like that.
- 20:33Speaker 4: That's not every night.
- 20:34Speaker 10: We know that they don't shoot fifty two from three
- 20:37Speaker 10: every night, or you know they they'd be a top
- 20:40Speaker 10: you know, twenty five to thirty team in the country
- 20:43Speaker 10: that night. If they could do that on the regular,
- 20:45Speaker 10: it'd be almost impossible team to stop in ways. So anyway,
- 20:50Speaker 10: fortunately for us, we shot more free throws, we had
- 20:53Speaker 10: less turnovers, and that helped us.
- 20:56Speaker 4: A great deal.
- 20:57Speaker 10: We finished better at the rim. In the last game,
- 20:59Speaker 10: we missed lost shots. We made those shots at the
- 21:01Speaker 10: riend of the night and we needed to.
- 21:03Speaker 15: Buggy, did you feel like really had it under control
- 21:06Speaker 15: with about six to a half minutes ago or were
- 21:08Speaker 15: you still warning your guys that what this team just came.
- 21:12Speaker 10: I felt we had it under control. I really did,
- 21:16Speaker 10: But you know, you just you just never know. I mean,
- 21:19Speaker 10: it's the same deal from the from the previous game.
- 21:21Speaker 10: When the team can get going from three, it's a problem.
- 21:23Speaker 10: When when you miss layups or turn the ball over,
- 21:27Speaker 10: that's a bigger problem because it can give them three
- 21:29Speaker 10: point shots, which we didn't do as much of in
- 21:31Speaker 10: this game. We finished the majority of our layups and
- 21:35Speaker 10: obviously we didn't turn the ball over as much. We
- 21:38Speaker 10: got to the free throw line, which a lot of
- 21:39Speaker 10: us to set our defense. We got some really good
- 21:41Speaker 10: looks in the second half. I felt like, some really
- 21:43Speaker 10: good looks and we went one for twelve from three.
- 21:45Speaker 10: But the good part is they were good looks and
- 21:47Speaker 10: not miss layups when we fall down, so we were
- 21:49Speaker 10: able to.
- 21:49Speaker 4: At least get back and challenge.
- 21:52Speaker 10: We gave up a layup in transition, we just took
- 21:54Speaker 10: all five guys out. Like you know, if you saw
- 21:56Speaker 10: that we give a layup, all five get out, you
- 21:58Speaker 10: know we're not going to do that.
- 22:00Speaker 4: We're gonna sub and until.
- 22:02Speaker 10: We get the right guys that totally understand what it's
- 22:05Speaker 10: gonna take to be successful.
- 22:07Speaker 4: And you know, some games.
- 22:09Speaker 10: Will be different guys than others, and the guys are
- 22:10Speaker 10: gonna get on board that are gonna play, and the
- 22:12Speaker 10: guys that won't, you know, they're not gonna play, but
- 22:15Speaker 10: they're gonna sit on the bench and they're gonna be
- 22:16Speaker 10: the best cheerleader in the world. If they're not gonna
- 22:18Speaker 10: do that, they're not gonna be on the team. Right,
- 22:20Speaker 10: We're gonna have guys that are gonna be all into
- 22:22Speaker 10: what we're going to do here and with our program
- 22:25Speaker 10: long term.
- 22:26Speaker 17: Not having Ryland, I know, was a big detriment to
- 22:29Speaker 17: what happened against UCF. But I mean I thought he
- 22:32Speaker 17: played pretty well tonight, and having him down the stretch
- 22:35Speaker 17: was obviously key for y'all with a lot of Maine
- 22:37Speaker 17: baskets and free throws, what was it.
- 22:39Speaker 4: They give you a lot more confidence having him out there.
- 22:41Speaker 17: And kind of speaking into existence what you said kind
- 22:44Speaker 17: of went wrong against UCF, you know, kind of corrected
- 22:47Speaker 17: that tonight.
- 22:48Speaker 10: Well you look at what what happened in that game.
- 22:51Speaker 10: If Island's not out there, do we win? I don't know, right,
- 22:54Speaker 10: I mean, do we I don't know? But the thing
- 22:58Speaker 10: that I saw from Ryland, saw a lot of leadership
- 23:01Speaker 10: there late in that game when it got tight. It's
- 23:04Speaker 10: one thing for the coach to be over there and
- 23:06Speaker 10: be that the coach leading the group. But when a
- 23:09Speaker 10: group is player led, that's when you're gonna be pretty good.
- 23:12Speaker 4: And we had some of our guys that.
- 23:14Speaker 10: Had the look on their face, their face like the
- 23:15Speaker 10: oh my goodness, what's about to happen here?
- 23:17Speaker 4: Like what's going on?
- 23:20Speaker 10: Defeated body language, and Ryland was grabbing them coming off
- 23:24Speaker 10: the floor like man, that that that's not it before
- 23:27Speaker 10: I get to them. You know, we got to dial
- 23:29Speaker 10: it back in like and you know, then we talk
- 23:31Speaker 10: about it. We're in a pretty dang good spot. The
- 23:33Speaker 10: way I phrased it to our team before the game
- 23:35Speaker 10: so we wouldn't tighten up, was, hey, we got an
- 23:38Speaker 10: opportunity to pull an upset tonight.
- 23:40Speaker 4: That was what I told our team.
- 23:42Speaker 10: I told our team, we have an opportunity to beat it,
- 23:45Speaker 10: to play a team that up to this point in
- 23:46Speaker 10: the years played better than we have.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Tonight.
- 23:48Speaker 10: We got an opportunity to play a team, let's pick
- 23:51Speaker 10: to win their league. We got an opportunity to to to.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Win a big game tonight.
- 23:56Speaker 10: We do that because they're a good team, But we
- 23:59Speaker 10: want our guys to not feel the game pressure in
- 24:01Speaker 10: that spot. That's what we said. We told you what
- 24:03Speaker 10: it is.
- 24:03Speaker 4: This is a two or three point game. We got
- 24:06Speaker 4: the lead, we got a chance to win. Let's close
- 24:08Speaker 4: it out. And that's the mindset we this minds that
- 24:10Speaker 4: this team has to have.
- 24:13Speaker 18: Jamie finished plus sixteen in just under ten minutes.
- 24:16Speaker 4: You're talking about his impact tonight.
- 24:17Speaker 10: Yeah, he was great. He's gonna play more and more.
- 24:19Speaker 10: You know, we got to have a presidence at the
- 24:22Speaker 10: rim that can block shots. And even when he don't
- 24:23Speaker 10: block him, they they feel them. You know, he's a
- 24:26Speaker 10: lob threat, can catch a lob and finish a lob
- 24:29Speaker 10: and college basketball, that shoes are the most efficient shot
- 24:32Speaker 10: for us. This year, We've been turning that over for
- 24:35Speaker 10: some reason, you know, we've been working on it. Well,
- 24:37Speaker 10: we got to get a true lob threat because that's
- 24:39Speaker 10: the most official shot in basketball.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Jamie can do.
- 24:41Speaker 16: That kind of led to Chris's start and just kind
- 24:44Speaker 16: of way you feel like maybe he'd earn.
- 24:46Speaker 10: That because Chris is an everyday guy who scraps and
- 24:49Speaker 10: it means something to him to wear that Texas and
- 24:51Speaker 10: m jersey. And you know, we had an opportunity that
- 24:55Speaker 10: in the last game, even on the last play when
- 24:57Speaker 10: the game was over to try to go challenge and
- 24:58Speaker 10: block a shot. We didn't do it for whatever reason
- 25:01Speaker 10: we chose not to, And I know Chris wouldn't have
- 25:03Speaker 10: done that. You know it would play to the buzzer,
- 25:05Speaker 10: and so you know, I want to reward him for
- 25:08Speaker 10: being who he is.
- 25:10Speaker 16: Could y'all for sixteen turnovers against UCF fourteen again tonight?
- 25:14Speaker 4: Like time of Blue Spall, the all out rebounded one.
- 25:17Speaker 16: Hand and today I believe outside you would ever given on.
- 25:21Speaker 4: The defensive end, I got to go back and look
- 25:24Speaker 4: at the tape.
- 25:24Speaker 10: I know they got some open looks, but I know
- 25:26Speaker 10: they're a matchup problem. We're playing a little out of position,
- 25:29Speaker 10: like when Rashean's playing the four. Ra Sean played the
- 25:31Speaker 10: five when mackenzie's back and team what do they do?
- 25:34Speaker 10: They go to five out? So ra Shawn's got a
- 25:36Speaker 10: guarded perimeter players, Well we did, we're mid major.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Okay, that's a topic.
- 25:41Speaker 10: Ask for him, like he won't have to do that a.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Lot, or at least we guarding other team's five when
- 25:45Speaker 4: McKenzie's back.
- 25:46Speaker 10: Uh So, that's why it's a tough cover because it's
- 25:48Speaker 10: mini major's fighting different ways so I got to look
- 25:51Speaker 10: to see what the you know, besides the last three
- 25:56Speaker 10: threes that you know, we were extreme.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Well guarded how they got the other ones. But I
- 26:01Speaker 4: do know this.
- 26:02Speaker 10: Our group has to win the rebound war, the effort war,
- 26:05Speaker 10: the loose ball war, the turnover battle. We got to
- 26:08Speaker 10: have every opportunity we can to have more shots on
- 26:12Speaker 10: gold than the other team.
- 26:14Speaker 16: And have some folks from Sanford maybe count of the
- 26:18Speaker 16: game on Friday with the football game Saturday.
- 26:20Speaker 4: N Yeah, yeah they will.
- 26:22Speaker 10: And I tell you the uh, you know, I was
- 26:25Speaker 10: joking about this. I I I love love football, obviously,
- 26:29Speaker 10: I'm a naggin Samford football played on a different level.
- 26:32Speaker 10: All right, then it's, uh, you know, I'm worried. I
- 26:36Speaker 10: was worried for two reasons because you know, uh, Samford's
- 26:39Speaker 10: gonna come in and give it all he got. But
- 26:40Speaker 10: I'm pretty sure that Aggies can name the score in
- 26:42Speaker 10: that game. And I was joking around him and say
- 26:45Speaker 10: they named that score, and people cause be like, where
- 26:48Speaker 10: we get our basketball coach from? Again, so they're coming here,
- 26:52Speaker 10: put up a good fight, but the basket of football
- 26:56Speaker 10: played at a different levels.
- 26:57Speaker 4: I'm gonna talk to Elko.
- 26:58Speaker 10: You know, maybe score one hundred, don't score thousand on them, right,
- 27:06Speaker 10: Thanks good, I appreciate it.
- 27:07Speaker 1: That's bucky and doesn't bode well when you're the former
- 27:13Speaker 1: coach from your school says you're going to lose by
- 27:16Speaker 1: somewhere between one hundred and one thousand. That's not good. Now,
- 27:20Speaker 1: we saw earlier there was a seventy five point you know,
- 27:23Speaker 1: kind of power spread out there, not the real spread,
- 27:26Speaker 1: but seventy five. So I don't know if I would
- 27:31Speaker 1: I would take that. I think i'd take the points
- 27:37Speaker 1: at seventy five. I don't think Elko would score seventy
- 27:42Speaker 1: five anyway. That's that's bucky. And like I said, quiet
- 27:49Speaker 1: crowd last night, not a lot of students. I hope
- 27:53Speaker 1: they haven't given up for the year. You know, there
- 27:56Speaker 1: was a lot of students Friday night when A and
- 27:58Speaker 1: M lost. We've seen this before. Hopefully when league play
- 28:03Speaker 1: starts and let me get my handy dandy schedule and see,
- 28:10Speaker 1: of course the students will be out the first couple
- 28:12Speaker 1: of league games. The first game is is LSU that's
- 28:17Speaker 1: on on third on a Saturday afternoon, and then their
- 28:22Speaker 1: home on a Saturday against Oklahoma. I'm assuming the school
- 28:26Speaker 1: school starts at next week, so Oklahoma could bring a
- 28:30Speaker 1: few people in on a it's a two thirty Saturday game,
- 28:35Speaker 1: so and then they're not home again until the twenty
- 28:39Speaker 1: first against Mississippi State. So really the only team coming
- 28:42Speaker 1: in where there's a possibility of a few students being
- 28:45Speaker 1: there will be the Oklahoma game on the weekend before,
- 28:52Speaker 1: so classes don't start till the twentieth something like that. Yeah,
- 28:59Speaker 1: that's what I said, That's what I conveyed. The weekend
- 29:04Speaker 1: of the weekend before is different. This is the weekend
- 29:08Speaker 1: of classes start that Monday, so hopefully there'll be a
- 29:12Speaker 1: few more students there for that game. But with the
- 29:16Speaker 1: schedule remaining, and Caleb has told me Mississippi Valley may
- 29:21Speaker 1: be the worst three team, like three hundred and thirty
- 29:25Speaker 1: out of three hundred and thirty that's coming in Tuesday night.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Their win was against Mississippi Women's University and they've lost
- 29:36Speaker 1: by as many as fifty points already this year to
- 29:39Speaker 1: like UAB, which isn't a basketball powerhouse. So if you
- 29:43Speaker 1: want students, I'm calling you out. If you want to
- 29:47Speaker 1: see A and M win a basketball game, show up
- 29:51Speaker 1: next Tuesday night against Mississippi Valley. All right, we're going
- 29:54Speaker 1: to take a break. We're going to come back Scotland.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Din It is here, and away we go. Sef Check
- 30:00Speaker 1: Service Center is open until six this evening. Open seven
- 30:04Speaker 1: to six Tomorrow, seven to six Friday, seven to four

- 30:14Speaker 1: If you're going to grandma's house, if you're going to
- 30:17Speaker 1: Austin for the game, if you're following your team in
- 30:20Speaker 1: the state playoffs, make sure that your vehicle is going
- 30:25Speaker 1: to get you there and back safely and without incident,

- 34:21Speaker 1: love that. I was saying, is the Mississippi Valley State
- 34:25Speaker 1: on that list?
- 34:26Speaker 8: Excuse me?
- 34:27Speaker 21: Yeah, I didn't choose last week.
- 34:30Speaker 8: I sat right here.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Evidently you didn't make your picks last week.
- 34:34Speaker 8: I didn't submit. I sat right here in front of
- 34:35Speaker 8: you and.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Didn't, and you were right there with me. You were
- 34:38Speaker 1: ahead of me.
- 34:39Speaker 8: Yes, No, I'm not.
- 34:41Speaker 1: That's a shame. Well, maybe maybe I hate that. Maybe
- 34:44Speaker 1: you picked him. We're just so bad we show up. Really,
- 34:47Speaker 1: that's sad. Yeah, I've had a bad year.
- 34:52Speaker 8: Okay, So you've done prep.
- 34:54Speaker 1: You've got the list of schools that are available next
- 34:58Speaker 1: November to play a one of those Sandford games.
- 35:02Speaker 8: I have the teams that are looking for non conferences.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Is Mississippi Valley State on there? Please say Mississippi Valley
- 35:08Speaker 1: state the blue hose. Why haven't we gotten Presbyterian in here?
- 35:15Speaker 8: Negative?
- 35:15Speaker 1: I have been calling on that for ten years.
- 35:18Speaker 21: So you you teased and said that. Coochoko said, hey,
- 35:22Speaker 21: why should A and M play a tough game?
- 35:25Speaker 1: True? If you're not, If there's no strength of schedule,
- 35:28Speaker 1: no strength of record, what's the point?
- 35:30Speaker 8: Is he wrong?
- 35:31Speaker 1: No, he's not wrong. Okay, No, Look, we'll say this again.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I'll keep saying it. I don't know if you people
- 35:42Speaker 1: believe me or not. I don't know if you think
- 35:44Speaker 1: I'm a conspiracy theorist. But the College Football Playoff Committee
- 35:48Speaker 1: does not run college football. They do not. ESPN runs
- 35:52Speaker 1: college football. Okay, period, end of story. Okay, so you Canami,
- 36:01Speaker 1: you can cry all you want. Oh yeah, imagine that
- 36:07Speaker 1: more ratings over Miami.
- 36:10Speaker 21: Yeah, you're saying this at my daddy's Miami or it
- 36:12Speaker 21: is my daddy's Miami.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, back years ago, yes, before eighty three, Yes,
- 36:19Speaker 1: but Howard Stellenberger, Yeah, before Howard got there. But anyway,
- 36:24Speaker 1: quit yelling at the committee. No strength to schedule, no
- 36:27Speaker 1: strength of record. Why is that? Why? Because ESPN is
- 36:32Speaker 1: telling them who should be in the top ten and
- 36:36Speaker 1: who should be in the playoffs. Well that's not right. Well,
- 36:41Speaker 1: that's just the way it is. You people grow up,
- 36:44Speaker 1: figure this stuff out. I don't know how many times
- 36:47Speaker 1: I have to tell you this. Okay, they run college football, okay,
- 36:54Speaker 1: because they're writing the checks, big big checks, they run it.
- 37:00Speaker 1: The committee does not run it. And I feel sorry
- 37:03Speaker 1: for the stupid people. Now it's Hunter year or Sich.
- 37:06Speaker 1: It was mac Rhodes before he went off the rails.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Try to come out there. Oh no, they're all stupid.
- 37:13Speaker 1: They can't answer the questions. There's a reason they cannot
- 37:16Speaker 1: answer simple questions that they pontificate and just go on
- 37:20Speaker 1: and on without answering questions. There is a reason for that.
- 37:24Speaker 1: They go, well, you know, we were in this meeting,
- 37:26Speaker 1: we get this phone call last night. Well is that
- 37:28Speaker 1: what they're going to say? You know, Skipper whatever his
- 37:31Speaker 1: name is, ahead of his ESPN's on the line and going, hey,
- 37:34Speaker 1: there's a rumor out there that you guys are putting
- 37:36Speaker 1: Miami ahead of Notre Dame. Now, I know Miami beat
- 37:39Speaker 1: Notre Dame, but this is Notre Dame we're talking about.
- 37:41Speaker 1: They're gonna bring ice to these games a lot more
- 37:45Speaker 1: than Miami, So you guys better level up. And if
- 37:49Speaker 1: you don't think that's happening, you people do not know
- 37:52Speaker 1: what's going on in college football. Yes it is, yes,
- 37:55Speaker 1: it is, Yes, it is the committee's gotten.
- 38:00Speaker 8: If that was.
- 38:01Speaker 21: The case, Ohio State, after winning five games, would have
- 38:04Speaker 21: gone in of TCU.
- 38:07Speaker 1: I had a Baylor, I had of a and m Chip.
- 38:09Speaker 8: When was that COVID year? When when Ohio State played
- 38:13Speaker 8: five games?
- 38:14Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 38:14Speaker 8: Yeah, and a nine and one?
- 38:16Speaker 1: Yeah, and Ohio State was five and oh yeah? Who
- 38:19Speaker 1: was ahead? Who got who got the call?
- 38:22Speaker 8: Ohio State did?
- 38:23Speaker 1: Uh huh? And why is that? Why do you think
- 38:26Speaker 1: that is?
- 38:27Speaker 21: I don't know.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I mean all the information reasons, Yeah, exactly exactly, so
- 38:35Speaker 1: you you.
- 38:38Speaker 21: Chip, As I said, I don't think that they're doing
- 38:43Speaker 21: college is right.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Hey, we just have to win.
- 38:46Speaker 21: I don't think they're doing college football any favors. Now
- 38:49Speaker 21: by doing this, you don't, like I said, announce the
- 38:53Speaker 21: top six and announced the next six.
- 38:57Speaker 8: That's all you have to do.
- 38:58Speaker 21: Announce the top six and the next six alphabetical order.
- 39:02Speaker 8: It doesn't matter until the season's over. It doesn't matter.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Well, apparently it doesn't matter anyway. I mean, it's you know,
- 39:13Speaker 1: well is there? Let me ask you this is doing
- 39:16Speaker 1: already know the answer is pushing Notre Dame.
- 39:18Speaker 8: Way, let me they are actually pushing Notre Dame.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Let me ask you this question. Why is Herb Street?
- 39:25Speaker 1: And he was doing it in the fourth quarter when
- 39:27Speaker 1: Texas was down thirty five to ten. Right, he's still
- 39:30Speaker 1: pushing Texas for a playoff spot?
- 39:32Speaker 4: Right?
- 39:32Speaker 1: Why why is that? Why is that the only three
- 39:37Speaker 1: loss team in America that anybody's mentioning? Oh, if Texas
- 39:42Speaker 1: be A and M, we think they're getting in. Well
- 39:44Speaker 1: they got three losses. Well that doesn't matter. It's Texas.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Herb Street was all over You watched the game, Yes,
- 39:50Speaker 1: Oh my god, it was like every thirty six, It
- 39:53Speaker 1: was every thirty says, well, you know this Texas team,
- 39:56Speaker 1: you know this loss is this isn't knocking them out.
- 39:59Speaker 21: Wait a minute, So you're gonna take Texas over Alabama
- 40:02Speaker 21: if they both have three losses.
- 40:04Speaker 1: If they both had three losses, No, they're taking Alabama.
- 40:08Speaker 1: If they both have three losses, yes, well they hadn't
- 40:10Speaker 1: played each other this year, right, No they haven't. Yeah,
- 40:14Speaker 1: I'll probably I'll take Alabama. Alabama has the best win.
- 40:18Speaker 1: They went to Georgia and one of course I'm gonna
- 40:20Speaker 1: take Alabama.
- 40:21Speaker 21: No, but Texas has the best loss. They lost by
- 40:23Speaker 21: a touchdown at Ohio State, the best team in the country.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Okay, I mean it's not a crazy loss, but they
- 40:30Speaker 1: just got killed by Georgia.
- 40:31Speaker 21: So you know, again, the best thing that happened last
- 40:35Speaker 21: night is Texas actually fell to seventeen and got taken completely.
- 40:38Speaker 1: A little bit surprised by that. But no, they have
- 40:41Speaker 1: not been taken out of the conversation. Again, you you
- 40:44Speaker 1: are are are living in fairyland if you think they've
- 40:48Speaker 1: been taking out of the conversation. They beat A and
- 40:50Speaker 1: M and they're up to like number nine. Oh hey,
- 40:52Speaker 1: Texas is in Yeah, yeah they are, Yeah they are.
- 40:55Speaker 1: I'm just telling you. I know you don't want to
- 40:56Speaker 1: believe that they're I'm just telling you.
- 40:58Speaker 8: They're not leaping Miami.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Yeah they are late Notre Day. No, they're not leaping
- 41:02Speaker 1: Notre Day. They are leaping Miami. All right, we need
- 41:05Speaker 1: a break, we'll come back. We've got a lot of
- 41:08Speaker 1: stuff going on. The Texans Report is presented by Redfield

- 41:53Speaker 23: be out for the second consecutive game as the Texans
- 41:56Speaker 23: face the Bills on Thursday Night Football. It started to
- 41:59Speaker 23: feel like a long shot for Straw to be able
- 42:01Speaker 23: to play on Thursday Night given the short turnaround. Here's
- 42:04Speaker 23: head coach Tomiko Ryans confirming the news.
- 42:07Speaker 24: To start just with injury up days, CJ and Jalen
- 42:09Speaker 24: will be out. Both guys are progressing, they're doing better,
- 42:12Speaker 24: but right now, with the short turnaround, a game on
- 42:16Speaker 24: Thursday just don't have enough days for those guys.
- 42:18Speaker 8: To be available.
- 42:19Speaker 23: As Demiko Ryans also mentioned, the Texans will be without
- 42:22Speaker 23: Jalen Petrie, who also remains in concussion protocol. In any case,
- 42:26Speaker 23: the Texans will look to win for the third consecutive
- 42:29Speaker 23: week and continue to fight back into playoff contention. As
- 42:32Speaker 23: for the Bills, they're looking to make it two consecutive
- 42:34Speaker 23: wins after a surprising loss to the Dolphins two weeks ago.
- 42:38Speaker 23: Texans Bills Thursday night football kickoff is set for seven

- 46:14Speaker 1: I thought, I thought Willie wrote that song for years?
- 46:18Speaker 8: All right?
- 46:19Speaker 1: I called.

- 48:31Speaker 8: Yes.

- 49:37Speaker 21: what do you mean?
- 49:37Speaker 8: No way? No way?
- 49:39Speaker 1: Too many athletes. They can get good in a hurry
- 49:41Speaker 1: with the coach, Yes they can.
- 49:42Speaker 21: Friendsno State, No, Georgia State, yes, Jacksonville State, yes, Lafayette.

- 50:22Speaker 21: Miami, No, New Mexico State, No, Northern.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Illinois yes, although they can be good sometimes.
- 50:34Speaker 21: Ohio no, oh Miss without Lane Kiffin, non conference no
- 50:40Speaker 21: Pitt No South Carolina No.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Stanford No, yes, let's play Stanford. Temple Owls Yes, yeah,
- 50:52Speaker 1: let's play Temple.
- 50:53Speaker 8: Texas State No, didn't you just play Texas State?
- 50:57Speaker 1: They did this year, right you and L No.
- 51:02Speaker 8: Wouldn't you want to go to Vegas?
- 51:03Speaker 1: Yes? But I don't want A and M going to
- 51:05Speaker 1: Vegas to play what's his name?
- 51:08Speaker 8: Southern col No?
- 51:12Speaker 1: Utah State No, why not?
- 51:16Speaker 21: No?
- 51:16Speaker 1: Utah State could be little little dangerous u Tip yes,
- 51:22Speaker 1: Wake Forest No, absolutely not.
- 51:25Speaker 21: Washington State chip, They're terrible. Okay, excuse me, they suck. Okay,
- 51:34Speaker 21: Oregon State same thing.
- 51:37Speaker 1: No, I don't want to play Oregon State. San Diego
- 51:39Speaker 1: State No, no, definitely, not Kent State yes, Nick Saban
- 51:45Speaker 1: t Alma mater either.
- 51:47Speaker 8: Because Mississippi State is over they're.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Over signed, so they're giving up a game.
- 51:52Speaker 21: So Louisiana, Monroe, Troy or Tennessee Tech, any of those,
- 51:57Speaker 21: they're not. They can't drop Minnesota because they have to play.
- 52:00Speaker 1: Before in Any of those three will be fine. Yeah,
- 52:03Speaker 1: okay again, out of all of those, I still vote
- 52:06Speaker 1: for Mississippi, Valley State or Presbyterian. Those are my two.
- 52:10Speaker 8: Presbyterian does not have an opening.
- 52:12Speaker 1: It doesn't matter you mean Georgia State, if you know,
- 52:14Speaker 1: if you're gonna know you mean Georgia State. Georgia State
- 52:17Speaker 1: is fine, but if but you can get Presbyterian here
- 52:21Speaker 1: with with a check, I promise, let's get the blue
- 52:24Speaker 1: Hoe Georgia State.
- 52:25Speaker 21: Well, and then you can talk smack. Because Georgia Tack
- 52:29Speaker 21: canceled them.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Oh they canceled Georgia State. You know why because almost
- 52:33Speaker 1: got beat.
- 52:34Speaker 8: No, they were supposed to play at Georgia State.
- 52:37Speaker 1: How did that happen? I guess that was when they
- 52:40Speaker 1: were bad Georgia Tack, not good Georgia Tech. Mean, that
- 52:43Speaker 1: was pre Haynes.
- 52:44Speaker 21: King, and you know what, there may be a post
- 52:46Speaker 21: Haines King.
- 52:47Speaker 1: So it depends on what this coach does right, because
- 52:51Speaker 1: he's he's in demand for this for next year. They've
- 52:58Speaker 1: all got one game on their schedule for next year.
- 53:00Speaker 8: That doesn't help your strength to schedule.
- 53:01Speaker 1: I think you ought to play them twice, play them in,
- 53:05Speaker 1: play them in September, play them in November one, okay,
- 53:09Speaker 1: then by gosh, get them there. I know TREVL listens
- 53:13Speaker 1: every day, so let's get on the phone and get
- 53:17Speaker 1: and I don't know who your scheduler is tripped. But
- 53:19Speaker 1: get on the phone and get Presbyterian here and Mississippi
- 53:23Speaker 1: Valley State.
- 53:24Speaker 8: And the only thing is don't announce.
- 53:26Speaker 1: And the good news is Scott longest things are rolling,
- 53:30Speaker 1: one hundred thousand are coming. Don't matter who you're playing now, right,
- 53:33Speaker 1: it doesn't.
- 53:34Speaker 8: But don't announce that the coach is slow, that you're
- 53:36Speaker 8: playing Army.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Oh no, you don't play Army because who did they drop?
- 53:41Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 53:42Speaker 8: They dropped Miami A and m did and added Army.
- 53:45Speaker 8: You remember what?
- 53:46Speaker 27: Oh?
- 53:46Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I remember. Do you remember when when that
- 53:49Speaker 1: was gonna and they ended up playing in San Antonio?
- 53:52Speaker 15: Right?
- 53:52Speaker 1: But but they were going to be a home and
- 53:54Speaker 1: home and they were going up there. I was so exciting.
- 53:57Speaker 21: Yeah, that was the return, was that your turn was
- 54:00Speaker 21: going there at Army right?
- 54:02Speaker 1: Yes, oh man, you know I was going. Oh I
- 54:04Speaker 1: was too. I would love to see a game up there.
- 54:06Speaker 1: That would just be awesome and it should happen.
