- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:00Speaker 2: It is Vertical Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you. Senator,
- 0:04Speaker 2: I can't believe it. We are not that far away
- 0:06Speaker 2: from the midterm elections. We're basically five weeks out from
- 0:09Speaker 2: Election Day. And if you look at the races right now,
- 0:12Speaker 2: there's a big question. What happens if Democrats win? One
- 0:16Speaker 2: of the big things they're talking about, and they clearly
- 0:18Speaker 2: think it's going to get people excited about them, is
- 0:20Speaker 2: impeaching Trump and not just Trump, but many others. And
- 0:23Speaker 2: this is also happening while Americans are embracing socialism at
- 0:27Speaker 2: record levels.
- 0:28Speaker 3: I know that concerns you as well.
- 0:30Speaker 4: Well, socialism is on the ballot. We're five weeks away
- 0:34Speaker 4: from Election Day. The numbers nationwide of Americans supporting socialism
- 0:39Speaker 4: are skyrocketing. They're skyrocketing among Democrats. That's becoming the orthodoxy
- 0:44Speaker 4: in the Democrat Party. But they're even rising distressingly among independents.
- 0:49Speaker 4: We're going to break that down. We're also going to
- 0:51Speaker 4: break down just how open the Democrats are that if
- 0:53Speaker 4: they seize control, they intend to engage in full obstruction,
- 0:57Speaker 4: full impeachment. do everything they can to effectively shut the
- 1:01Speaker 4: federal government down. We're going to give you the details
- 1:03Speaker 4: there as well. We're also going to talk about the
- 1:05Speaker 4: major terror attack that was just averted the United Kingdom,
- 1:08Speaker 4: an impressive work of police and law enforcement and intelligence
- 1:13Speaker 4: averting a serious terror attack. It's amazing what happens when
- 1:17Speaker 4: you open up your country and allow millions of illegal
- 1:21Speaker 4: immigrants to come into your country, including radical Islamic terrorism. Sadly,
- 1:25Speaker 4: it leads predictably to terrorism. All of that's on today's pod.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Yeah, we've got a lot to talk about, obviously.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Also want to talk to you about a special opportunity
- 1:34Speaker 2: coming up for you to get involved and to stand
- 1:35Speaker 2: with Israel. On October the 7th, 2023, Israeli firefighter Danny
- 1:40Speaker 2: faced a nightmare that no parent should ever endure. A
- 1:44Speaker 2: terrorist attacked his community. He and his wife sheltered in
- 1:48Speaker 2: their safe room. Just yards away, his daughter and son-in-law
- 1:51Speaker 2: were trapped inside their home. as it burned during the
- 1:54Speaker 2: horrific attacks on that day. Now, there was nothing he
- 1:58Speaker 2: could do to save them. Danny has dedicated his life
- 2:01Speaker 2: to rescuing others, yet in the midst of unimaginable grief,
- 2:05Speaker 2: he stepped forward to help evacuate survivors and care for
- 2:08Speaker 2: his shattered community. Today, he continues helping rebuild. His story
- 2:13Speaker 2: reminds us that behind every headline is a real family,
- 2:17Speaker 2: a real mother, a father, a son, or a daughter
- 2:20Speaker 2: whose life mattered. That is why thousands of churches across
- 2:24Speaker 2: America are joining the Flags of Fellowship movement, started by
- 2:29Speaker 2: the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Each flag planted
- 2:33Speaker 2: as part of this powerful movement honors a life lost.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Each flag stands against hatred, Each flag declares to the
- 2:41Speaker 2: world that Israel is not alone. Join believers across America
- 2:46Speaker 2: in this powerful act of remembrance and solidarity with Israel.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Learn how you and your church can make a difference
- 2:52Speaker 2: at joinfof.org. That's joinfof.org. All right, Senator, so let's get
- 3:01Speaker 2: into this. Five weeks out, I look at these poll numbers,
- 3:05Speaker 2: and it's tight. I think you and I have both
- 3:07Speaker 2: looked at them, and it's not exactly where anyone was
- 3:09Speaker 2: hoping on the conservative side of things we would be
- 3:11Speaker 2: at this moment in time going into the midterms. But
- 3:14Speaker 2: there's also this new kind of mantra coming from the left,
- 3:18Speaker 2: which is, hey, if we get power, we will go
- 3:22Speaker 2: after Donald Trump and impeach him.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Also, cabinet members. Also, we'll go after family.
- 3:26Speaker 2: We'll go after other conservatives like it is pure warfare, lawfare,
- 3:31Speaker 2: whatever you want to call it, congressional lawfare yet again.
- 3:34Speaker 2: And that's what now the Democrats are closing argument. The
- 3:37Speaker 2: American people has vote for us because we'll go lock
- 3:39Speaker 2: people up.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Well, that's exactly right, because that's what animates and unifies
- 3:43Speaker 4: their party, is hatred for Donald Trump. Here, I want
- 3:46Speaker 4: you to listen to Representative Ro Khanna, a Democrat, very,
- 3:49Speaker 4: very wealthy tech Democrat, used to portray himself as moderate,
- 3:53Speaker 4: but now is running hard, hard left because he's got
- 3:56Speaker 4: presidential ambitions. I want to listen to him being asked
- 4:00Speaker 4: if it's true that their objective is just to impeach Trump.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Listen.
- 4:05Speaker 6: Is impeaching President Trump a third time a mistake for Democrats? No,
- 4:11Speaker 6: it's not, because it's not about Donald Trump. He's going
- 4:14Speaker 6: to be a lame duck and, in my view, largely
- 4:18Speaker 6: increasingly irrelevant. The point is to stand up for the Constitution.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Impeachment says that you can't get into an illegal war
- 4:26Speaker 6: in Iran without constitutional approval. Impeachment says that you can't
- 4:31Speaker 6: just start firing federal employees when in defiance of what
- 4:36Speaker 6: Congress says. Impeachment says you can't do deals with foreign
- 4:39Speaker 6: governments to allegedly enrich your own family. It's about setting
- 4:44Speaker 6: a standard and the Democrats can impeach to uphold constitutional
- 4:49Speaker 6: values and at the same time have a first hundred
- 4:51Speaker 6: day agenda that.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Deals with the cost of living.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Notice it's not really about you. It's about warfare and
- 4:59Speaker 2: political warfare. And oh, absolutely, we're going to go down
- 5:01Speaker 2: this road. Yeah, then we'll get to the economy and
- 5:03Speaker 2: other things later. But really, this is about attacking anyone
- 5:05Speaker 2: that helped Trump and Trump and his cabinet so no
- 5:08Speaker 2: one will want to serve their country.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Look, Trump derangement syndrome is alive and well. They are animated.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Their sole goal in life, it seems, is hatred of Trump.
- 5:18Speaker 4: But actually, that's not true. They also want radical policies
- 5:21Speaker 4: that would destroy America. Here, I want you to listen
- 5:23Speaker 4: to Democrat Tom Swoozie, who is another one who pretends
- 5:26Speaker 4: he's a moderate, but listen to what he says his
- 5:29Speaker 4: number one objective is if Democrats take power.
- 5:34Speaker 7: My number one issue is to try and get a
- 5:38Speaker 7: resolution on immigration. My biggest desire, my biggest goal of
- 5:44Speaker 7: what I want to accomplish in politics right now is
- 5:47Speaker 7: I want to legalize 7 or 8 or 9 or
- 5:50Speaker 7: 10 million people in our country so they will not
- 5:53Speaker 7: be subject to deportation.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Well, at least they're being honest about it. Hey, Americans,
- 5:58Speaker 2: you're not our priority. Illegal immigrants, you are our priority.
- 6:03Speaker 2: And just understand, if you're an American suffering right now,
- 6:06Speaker 2: we don't really care. If you're someone that has issues
- 6:09Speaker 2: and you have a U.S. passport, we don't really care.
- 6:12Speaker 2: It's the illegals that we're here to protect and defend
- 6:15Speaker 2: and to honor first and foremost.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Now, look, this is striking because Tom Swoozie is in
- 6:20Speaker 4: a potential swing district in New York, and he's echoing
- 6:24Speaker 4: the very same message that you remember Chris Murphy a
- 6:27Speaker 4: year or two said on TV, and it was widely
- 6:29Speaker 4: perceived as a gaffe. But listen to Chris Murphy on
- 6:32Speaker 4: MSNBC explaining what his number one priority is.
- 6:36Speaker 8: The negotiation didn't have a path to citizenship. It was
- 6:40Speaker 8: entirely on their terms in order to get Ukraine funded, right? Well,
- 6:46Speaker 8: I mean, Chris, that's been a failed play for 20 years.
- 6:48Speaker 8: So you are right that that has been the Democratic
- 6:51Speaker 8: strategy for 30 years, maybe. And it has failed to
- 6:56Speaker 8: deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented
- 7:00Speaker 8: Americans that are in this country.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Well, there you heard it. Chris Murphy, in his own words,
- 7:05Speaker 4: he describes he's speaking about Democrats as a party. He describes, quote,
- 7:09Speaker 4: the people we care about most. And then he calls
- 7:13Speaker 4: them the undocumented Americans, by which he means illegal immigrants.
- 7:18Speaker 4: And he's not saying they care about him. He said
- 7:20Speaker 4: they are the people they care about most, illegal immigrants.
- 7:24Speaker 4: They care about it more than you, more than U.S. citizens,
- 7:26Speaker 4: more than your kids. That's why Democrat Tom Swoozie is
- 7:30Speaker 4: saying his biggest goal, his number one goal, is to
- 7:35Speaker 4: grant amnesty to 7 or 8 or 9 or 10
- 7:37Speaker 4: million people in our country. That's their number one goal.
- 7:41Speaker 4: It is to attack President Trump, and it is to
- 7:44Speaker 4: fight for illegal immigrants. That's their priority. And it's one
- 7:47Speaker 4: of the reasons why, as lousy as the poll numbers
- 7:51Speaker 4: are looking for Republicans right now, Democrats have a problem, too.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Listen to Mark Kelly getting confronted with this on ABC.
- 7:59Speaker 1: That is that only 34% of people think the Democratic
- 8:03Speaker 1: Party cares about people like them.
- 8:07Speaker 3: What does that tell you?
- 8:09Speaker 1: What do you do about it if people just aren't
- 8:12Speaker 1: feeling it from the Democrats, if you're sort of a
- 8:14Speaker 1: default or people stay away from the race?
- 8:17Speaker 9: Well, I'll tell you what I'm doing about it. I've
- 8:19Speaker 9: been traveling across the country basically nonstop for the last
- 8:24Speaker 9: six months. I've been in New Hampshire, in Ohio, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Georgia,
- 8:30Speaker 9: South Carolina, meeting with people. I've also been all over Arizona.
- 8:34Speaker 9: I was just up on the Navajo Nation. a couple
- 8:37Speaker 9: weeks ago for the Navajo parade, and just talking to
- 8:40Speaker 9: people and trying to understand their challenges in their homes,
- 8:45Speaker 9: in their schools, in their communities.
- 8:49Speaker 2: You listen to that, and it's just truly not about
- 8:51Speaker 2: Americans first at all.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Well, and when even ABC is going at it and
- 8:56Speaker 4: pointing out that the poll numbers show that only 34%
- 9:00Speaker 4: of Americans think Democrats care about, quote, people like them.
- 9:06Speaker 4: And there's a reason for that. The Democrats are telling
- 9:08Speaker 4: you who they care about. The people they care about
- 9:10Speaker 4: most are illegal immigrants. Look, if you're an illegal immigrant,
- 9:14Speaker 4: I guess that should make you really happy. That's your party.
- 9:16Speaker 4: That's who they're fighting for. He also left out gangbangers
- 9:22Speaker 4: and criminals and murderers and child molesters and rapists. And
- 9:26Speaker 4: that clearly is who they care about most as well,
- 9:28Speaker 4: because when they get in power, that's who they let go.
- 9:31Speaker 4: That's who they refuse to arrest. That's who they empty
- 9:33Speaker 4: the jails from. That's who they release into the communities.
- 9:37Speaker 4: So they care about attacking Trump. They care about illegal immigrants.
- 9:41Speaker 4: They care about criminals. But they also fundamentally care about
- 9:46Speaker 4: this is the green-red alliance. This is communism and Islamism
- 9:50Speaker 4: coming together. And to be clear, that is not limited
- 9:54Speaker 4: to Manhattan. It is not just Comrade Mondami in New York.
- 9:58Speaker 4: They plan to bring this to your... neighborhood, to your town,
- 10:01Speaker 4: to your state. They plan to bring it to the
- 10:03Speaker 4: whole country. Listen to Comrade Mondami talking about socialism for
- 10:08Speaker 4: all of America.
- 10:09Speaker 5: The thing is, other Democrats are concerned. Not everybody believes
- 10:13Speaker 5: that America is ready on a national level to necessarily
- 10:18Speaker 5: elect people who are on the left. And will it
- 10:21Speaker 5: translate on a national level? And will the midterms not
- 10:25Speaker 5: just be a referendum on Trump, but a referendum on
- 10:29Speaker 5: the democratic socialists of America?
- 10:31Speaker 10: I think this will absolutely translate on a national level.
- 10:33Speaker 10: And the reason that I believe that is while we
- 10:36Speaker 10: are an exceptional city as the greatest city in the world,
- 10:39Speaker 10: we also know that the struggles that New Yorkers are
- 10:40Speaker 10: facing are the struggles that working class Americans are facing
- 10:43Speaker 10: across the country. I often say that there's only one
- 10:46Speaker 10: majority in this country. It's the working class and their
- 10:49Speaker 10: inability to afford housing, child care, even public transit. That
- 10:53Speaker 10: is something that goes beyond any one city.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Senator, beyond any one city, that's his message.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Look, this is their nationwide agenda. They want to bring
- 11:03Speaker 4: socialism to you. And by the way, What Comrade Mondami
- 11:06Speaker 4: did there is what communists and socialists always do, which
- 11:10Speaker 4: is they say they're fighting for the working man, which
- 11:12Speaker 4: is what he said, but then you look at their policies,
- 11:14Speaker 4: and their policies always, always, always hurt the working men.
- 11:20Speaker 4: And if you look at it, this is true in
- 11:22Speaker 4: communist countries across the world, whether the Soviet Union or
- 11:26Speaker 4: China or Cuba or Venezuela or Nicaragua or North Korea
- 11:31Speaker 4: or Whenever you have socialism implemented, and socialism is the
- 11:35Speaker 4: economic system of communism, whenever they implement their policies, working
- 11:43Speaker 4: men and women pay the price. They have poverty. They
- 11:46Speaker 4: have shortages. Their standard of living goes down. Understand, the Democrats,
- 11:53Speaker 4: it's ironic he used the phrase working men, Because he
- 11:57Speaker 4: doesn't actually want people to work. He wants to pay
- 11:59Speaker 4: people not to work. If you're working, he wants to
- 12:02Speaker 4: tax the hell out of you. If you own a
- 12:03Speaker 4: small business, he wants to destroy your small business. And yet,
- 12:08Speaker 4: this message is getting real traction. Brand new polling that
- 12:11Speaker 4: came from Gallup. I'm going to read from New York Post.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Americans are embracing socialism at record levels as popularity tops 40%
- 12:19Speaker 4: for the first time since 2010. A record number of
- 12:24Speaker 4: Americans now have a positive view of socialism, with almost
- 12:27Speaker 4: half admitting they embrace the far-left ideology, according to an
- 12:31Speaker 4: eye-opening survey. 43% of Americans said they feel optimistic about socialism,
- 12:39Speaker 4: the new Gallup poll released Wednesday revealed. It marks the
- 12:43Speaker 4: first time this figure has topped 40% in Gallup's trend
- 12:47Speaker 4: since 2010. At the same time, economic concepts like free enterprise,
- 12:52Speaker 4: big business, and capitalism have slipped in public favorability. The
- 12:57Speaker 4: surge in popularity was driven, surprisingly, by independents, with 45%
- 13:02Speaker 4: of this group reporting a positive view of socialism, up
- 13:07Speaker 4: from 37% last year. Now, that's highly troubling, that independents
- 13:11Speaker 4: went from 37% thinking socialism was a good idea to 45%.
- 13:17Speaker 4: That is a very disturbing movement. Independents view of big business, meanwhile,
- 13:22Speaker 4: dipped to a new low of 32%, meaning independents now
- 13:25Speaker 4: prefer socialism to big business. However, small businesses, capitalism, and
- 13:32Speaker 4: free enterprise are still viewed more positively. The increase in
- 13:36Speaker 4: optimism for the far-left philosophy is also driven in large
- 13:39Speaker 4: part by a sharp uptick among Democrats who say they
- 13:44Speaker 4: have a positive view of socialism. The result in the
- 13:47Speaker 4: Gallup poll showed two-thirds of progressives were in favor, 66%,
- 13:53Speaker 4: up from 50% in 2010. Democrats have been rating socialism
- 13:59Speaker 4: more positively than capitalism since 2016, and it's now tied
- 14:05Speaker 4: with free enterprise at 65%. Democrats' favorable rating of capitalism
- 14:11Speaker 4: slid seven points in just the past year. from 42%
- 14:17Speaker 4: in 2025 to just 35% today, according to the survey. Now,
- 14:21Speaker 4: the one group that's remained consistent, Republicans, meanwhile, have stayed
- 14:25Speaker 4: comparatively consistent with large majorities favoring small business, free enterprise,
- 14:30Speaker 4: and capitalism positively, but just 14% expressing a positive view
- 14:36Speaker 4: of socialism. This is the message that the far left
- 14:40Speaker 4: is pushing, but understand this is their agenda, If they
- 14:46Speaker 4: win in November, if they take power, they want to
- 14:49Speaker 4: bring socialism to you. They want to bring amnesty for
- 14:52Speaker 4: illegals to you. They want to bring violent criminals that
- 14:55Speaker 4: they're letting out of jail to you. That's what the
- 14:58Speaker 4: stakes are in this election.
- 14:59Speaker 6: All right.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I want to take a moment and I just want
- 15:01Speaker 2: to talk to you about education for a second.
- 15:03Speaker 3: We've seen just how radical.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Universities have become in this country how they're indoctrinating people
- 15:09Speaker 2: to not only turn against this country but also against
- 15:11Speaker 2: their faith well somewhere along the way we got this
- 15:14Speaker 2: idea that a serious education and a strong christian faith
- 15:18Speaker 2: have to live in two separate worlds they don't at
- 15:21Speaker 2: regents university faith isn't an afterthought in fact it's at
- 15:25Speaker 2: the heart of the education Students are challenged to think deeply,
- 15:30Speaker 2: pursue excellence, and see their education through an actual Christian worldview.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Make no mistake, Region is serious about academics as well.
- 15:39Speaker 2: With more than 150 areas of study, Region has earned
- 15:43Speaker 2: national recognition for academic excellence. Because a great education shouldn't
- 15:47Speaker 2: just prepare you to make a living, it should prepare
- 15:50Speaker 2: you to make a difference in the world. Now, to
- 15:53Speaker 2: lead with integrity and use your God-given talents with purpose,
- 15:57Speaker 2: and here's the best part about Regent. You can get
- 15:59Speaker 2: the same Regent education online now as well. You can
- 16:03Speaker 2: learn from wherever you are on a schedule that works
- 16:07Speaker 2: around your career and family without compromising your education or
- 16:12Speaker 2: your faith. Exceptional academics, flexible online learning, unapologetically Christian.
- 16:18Speaker 3: You can learn more at regent.edu.
- 16:21Speaker 2: That's regent, R-E-G-E-N-T dot edu, Regent University, Christian leadership to
- 16:29Speaker 2: change the world. You know, socialists, by the way, Senator,
- 16:32Speaker 2: I think have been playing this game, the long game, really,
- 16:34Speaker 2: really well, to be honest with you. You can see
- 16:37Speaker 2: that over time, they are able to, in essence, mainstream.
- 16:43Speaker 2: in a pretty significant way, socialism, where it seems like
- 16:47Speaker 2: a normal word, not a radical idea. I think that's
- 16:51Speaker 2: part of the reason why you're seeing these poll numbers
- 16:53Speaker 2: the way that they are now. How concerned are you,
- 16:56Speaker 2: by the way, that this could continue to gain momentum
- 16:59Speaker 2: moving forward?
- 17:00Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a real problem. It is a marketing ploy.
- 17:02Speaker 4: It begins with education, where the left seized K-12 education,
- 17:07Speaker 4: seized colleges and universities, seized much of entertainment. And they've
- 17:13Speaker 4: been using their control over cultural organs to propagandize. And
- 17:19Speaker 4: young people in particular are far more likely to say
- 17:22Speaker 4: they have a positive view of socialism. Now, I will
- 17:25Speaker 4: say that positive view, I believe, is not deep. It's
- 17:29Speaker 4: not thick because most of them have no idea what
- 17:31Speaker 4: socialism is. Most of them think socialism is should people
- 17:35Speaker 4: give me free stuff. And not surprisingly, a lot of people,
- 17:38Speaker 4: if you say, hey, you want free stuff, will say, sure,
- 17:40Speaker 4: I'll take some free stuff. But this is where elected
- 17:45Speaker 4: officials need to do a better job. This is where
- 17:47Speaker 4: conservatives need to do a better job. This is where
- 17:50Speaker 4: podcasters need to do a better job. Explaining the facts.
- 17:54Speaker 4: What is socialism? Socialism is the government ownership or control
- 18:00Speaker 4: of the means of production or distribution in an economy.
- 18:04Speaker 4: It is the government being in charge of producing and
- 18:08Speaker 4: distributing goods and services. When the government is in charge,
- 18:12Speaker 4: it just doesn't work. The socialists, and by the way,
- 18:17Speaker 4: when you ask young people what they think socialism means,
- 18:20Speaker 4: they don't know. Socialism also inevitably means, there's a phrase
- 18:25Speaker 4: that Karl Marx and others used, which is from each
- 18:28Speaker 4: according to his abilities to each according to his needs.
- 18:31Speaker 4: It's part of the very essence of socialism and communism,
- 18:34Speaker 4: which is if you're producing, we're going to take from you.
- 18:38Speaker 4: And if you're not producing, if you're sitting on your
- 18:40Speaker 4: rear end, we're going to give to you. Now what
- 18:42Speaker 4: you end up happening, and this is where socialists and
- 18:45Speaker 4: communists don't understand, people respond to incentives. If you work
- 18:49Speaker 4: hard and the government takes the reward of your work,
- 18:52Speaker 4: you know what you do? You stop working hard. And
- 18:55Speaker 4: that ends up happening. And so then they rely on
- 18:58Speaker 4: government power to try to force you to work hard.
- 19:01Speaker 4: They know you can work hard. They know you can
- 19:03Speaker 4: produce at a certain level. And so they threaten you. Look,
- 19:06Speaker 4: in the Soviet Union and Russia and China, they threaten you.
- 19:09Speaker 4: They put you in jail if you don't work as
- 19:12Speaker 4: hard as they want you to work. But it is
- 19:14Speaker 4: all at the end of a gun. It is all
- 19:16Speaker 4: by force. And if you look at, let's take Cuba.
- 19:22Speaker 4: You know, why is it that all of these socialists
- 19:24Speaker 4: don't seem to notice that that down in Cuba, the
- 19:27Speaker 4: rafts are all going one direction. They are fleeing Cuba.
- 19:30Speaker 4: There's nobody. Mondami never once has gone down to Key West,
- 19:34Speaker 4: jumped on a raft, and said, hey, I've got a
- 19:37Speaker 4: communist socialist paradise just 90 miles south. Well, the reason
- 19:42Speaker 4: he doesn't is the people in Cuba are miserable.
- 19:44Speaker 3: They're starving.
- 19:45Speaker 4: They have nothing. They wait in bread lines. The entire
- 19:49Speaker 4: economy is frozen in time from the 1950s when the
- 19:54Speaker 4: communists took over. And by the way, in 1959 when
- 19:57Speaker 4: the communists took over, Cuba had enormous prosperity. It was
- 20:01Speaker 4: a dominant sugar producer. There was inequality and there was oppression. Batista,
- 20:07Speaker 4: the dictator, was cruel. But the material well-being of the
- 20:11Speaker 4: Cuban people today is much, much, much worse than it
- 20:15Speaker 4: was before. And the answer was to overthrow the dictator,
- 20:19Speaker 4: but put in place free enterprise and let small businesses
- 20:22Speaker 4: grow instead of putting communism and socialism in place.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah, no, you're absolutely right. It's going to be, as
- 20:28Speaker 2: we mentioned, we're five weeks away. And this is what
- 20:31Speaker 2: this election is going to be about. I want to
- 20:33Speaker 2: move over to also the shocking news coming out of
- 20:36Speaker 2: Britain today. With this terror attack that was stopped, thank goodness,
- 20:39Speaker 2: it was targeting a base that also hosts Americans.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Let's fill our audience in on this.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Well, it's a very disturbing terror plot that thankfully was stopped.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Five men were taken into custody in the United Kingdom
- 20:52Speaker 4: on suspicion of explosion offenses and preparing a terrorist act.
- 20:57Speaker 4: And here I'm reading from the Daily Wire. British authorities
- 21:00Speaker 4: arrested five men near a military base hosting U.S. forces
- 21:04Speaker 4: early Sunday. on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack. RAF
- 21:11Speaker 4: Fairford in Southwestern England serves as a forward operating location
- 21:16Speaker 4: for the US Air Force Global Strike Command and has
- 21:20Speaker 4: recently been used to launch B-52 and B-1 bombers targeting Iran.
- 21:26Speaker 4: President Donald Trump praised the arrest while speaking to reporters
- 21:29Speaker 4: Sunday and said the United States had worked with British
- 21:32Speaker 4: authorities on the case. Quote, the arrests in the UK
- 21:36Speaker 4: were fantastic, he said. Working with Britain, it was an
- 21:39Speaker 4: amazing job. We had them under investigation. Trump said the suspects, quote,
- 21:44Speaker 4: were looking to do big damage and that the group
- 21:47Speaker 4: had been under watch, quote, for a long time. Police
- 21:50Speaker 4: were alerted around 12.45 a.m. to three suspicious vehicles apparently
- 21:56Speaker 4: bound for the base, according to a Metropolitan Police statement.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Armed officers responded and detained five men in a nearby
- 22:04Speaker 4: village on suspicion of explosive offensives, then rearrested them on
- 22:09Speaker 4: suspicion of preparing an act of terrorism. Authorities evacuated about
- 22:13Speaker 4: 85 households as a precaution and established a 400-meter cordon
- 22:18Speaker 4: around the vehicles while Army bomb disposal specialists were examining them.
- 22:24Speaker 4: A nearby recreation center opened to accommodate displaced residents. Quote,
- 22:30Speaker 4: We are in the early stages of an investigation and
- 22:33Speaker 4: five men remain in custody, said Deputy Assistant Commissioner Vicki Evans.
- 22:38Speaker 4: We continue to work with police to keep the community
- 22:40Speaker 4: safe as we work to gather evidence from the scene.
- 22:44Speaker 4: This is highly, highly disturbing. Now, they went on to say,
- 22:49Speaker 4: for operational security reasons, we will not discuss specific force
- 22:52Speaker 4: protection measures.
- 22:54Speaker 9: U.S.
- 22:54Speaker 4: European Command remains vigilant. and will take appropriate actions to
- 22:58Speaker 4: ensure the safety and security of our U.S. service members, civilians, contractors,
- 23:02Speaker 4: and their families across the European theater. We constantly assess
- 23:07Speaker 4: a variety of factors that determine what measures we institute
- 23:10Speaker 4: or modify to protect our installations, our people, and their families.
- 23:15Speaker 4: The New York Post reported that the five suspects were
- 23:18Speaker 4: stripped down after the officers suspected they might be wearing
- 23:22Speaker 4: suicide vests. The Telegraph reported that authorities are investigating whether
- 23:27Speaker 4: there is a link to the Iranian regime. In August,
- 23:31Speaker 4: Iran threatened to attack U.S. air bases in Europe if
- 23:35Speaker 4: President Trump escalated the war. Quote, should the U.S. go
- 23:39Speaker 4: too far, Iran will defend itself at any price, go
- 23:42Speaker 4: beyond the region and hit Europe too, said a source
- 23:45Speaker 4: close to the Iranian regime. So you've got five what
- 23:48Speaker 4: appear to be terrorists arrested in a terror attack preparing
- 23:52Speaker 4: to bomb, or they're preparing to bomb U.S. servicemen and women,
- 23:58Speaker 4: and in particular the servicemen and women who were involved
- 24:01Speaker 4: in carrying out the military strikes in Iran. Thankfully, we
- 24:03Speaker 4: prevented that from happening. We have them in custody, and
- 24:07Speaker 4: further investigation will show just how far this plot goes
- 24:10Speaker 4: and whether it was directed by Iran or others.
- 24:14Speaker 2: All right, I want to take a moment here and
- 24:15Speaker 2: I just want to talk to you about an organization
- 24:17Speaker 2: that not only do I want you to know about it,
- 24:20Speaker 2: I would love for you to be able to get
- 24:21Speaker 2: involved because it is amazing the work that they're doing.
- 24:25Speaker 2: And if you're going to change someone's life, you want
- 24:27Speaker 2: to know what actually lasts. That's one reason why Compassion
- 24:30Speaker 2: International has become one of the most trusted child development
- 24:34Speaker 2: ministries in the world. Now, independent research shows that children
- 24:38Speaker 2: that are sponsored through Compassion actually stay in school longer.
- 24:42Speaker 3: They are 40% more likely to graduate high school.
- 24:45Speaker 2: That number is incredible, especially when you're talking about kids
- 24:48Speaker 2: all over the world, many of them in third world countries.
- 24:51Speaker 3: And here's a stat that's even more amazing than that.
- 24:54Speaker 3: They're more than.
- 24:54Speaker 2: 80% more likely to finish college.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Now, how is this possible?
- 25:01Speaker 2: Well, it's because sponsorship isn't just temporary relief. It's long-term
- 25:06Speaker 2: investment through the local church. I want to say that again.
- 25:09Speaker 2: It is long-term investment through the local church. And that
- 25:13Speaker 2: church is meeting the physical needs while also sharing the
- 25:15Speaker 2: hope of Jesus. Now, you can do what I do
- 25:18Speaker 2: and just spend for only $ 43 a month. You can
- 25:22Speaker 2: help shape a child's future. Sponsor a child today. At Compassion.com.
- 25:29Speaker 2: That's Compassion.com. Yeah, and you look at this, and it
- 25:33Speaker 2: comes back to me, back to the U.S., and this is, again,
- 25:36Speaker 2: I go back to the midterms. You look at what
- 25:39Speaker 2: Donald Trump did so quickly. I wish it was more
- 25:42Speaker 2: of a midterm issue, Senator. I really do, because I
- 25:45Speaker 2: think it's.
- 25:45Speaker 3: An important one.
- 25:46Speaker 2: It's a national security one. And that is the issue
- 25:48Speaker 2: of securing our border. And we know how many people
- 25:50Speaker 2: got into this country when Joe Biden was in office.
- 25:53Speaker 2: We know how many gotaways there are. We know how
- 25:56Speaker 2: many were on.
- 25:57Speaker 3: The terrorist watch list.
- 25:58Speaker 2: We hit unbelievable numbers of people on the terrorist watch
- 26:00Speaker 2: list that we did catch. We don't know how many
- 26:02Speaker 2: got through that we don't know about that are on
- 26:04Speaker 2: the terrorist watch list. But when you look at this
- 26:06Speaker 2: issue in the UK and then you look at this,
- 26:09Speaker 2: what we had. before Trump came in and now that
- 26:12Speaker 2: we have a secure border, it is night and day difference.
- 26:15Speaker 2: And I wish this was more of a midterm issue
- 26:17Speaker 2: because it's almost like it happened so quickly, him shutting
- 26:19Speaker 2: down our southern border, that people forgot like how bad
- 26:22Speaker 2: it used to be.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Well, and it's our responsibility to remind them, to remind
- 26:26Speaker 4: them what it looked like when 12 million illegals were
- 26:29Speaker 4: flooding into this country, when we were facing an invasion,
- 26:31Speaker 4: when we were seeing every single day another American murdered,
- 26:35Speaker 4: another woman raped, another child sexually assaulted by illegal immigrants.
- 26:39Speaker 4: released into this country by Joe Biden and the Democrats.
- 26:43Speaker 4: And by the way, these two stories are directly connected.
- 26:47Speaker 4: You look at the immigration policies the United Kingdom has followed,
- 26:52Speaker 4: and they're exactly the same open border amnesty policies that
- 26:56Speaker 4: turn a blind eye to terrorists who want to kill us.
- 27:00Speaker 4: And tragically, the UK has faced real consequences. Here's a
- 27:04Speaker 4: story that published also this weekend in The Telegraph. Britain
- 27:09Speaker 4: granted asylum and citizenship status to a former bodyguard to
- 27:15Speaker 4: the leader of Hamas, it has been reported. Named only
- 27:20Speaker 4: as Mr. X for legal reasons, he then allegedly plotted
- 27:23Speaker 4: an anti-Semitic terrorist attack before the second anniversary of the
- 27:27Speaker 4: October 7 massacre, according to the Sunday Times. The suspect
- 27:32Speaker 4: served in the personal security detail for Ismail Hanaye, Hamas's
- 27:38Speaker 4: leader in Gaza between 2007 and 2017, before moving to
- 27:44Speaker 4: Britain more than 10 years ago. It poses difficult questions
- 27:48Speaker 4: for the Home Office, MI5 and MI6, because Mr. X
- 27:51Speaker 4: was able to build a life in the country despite
- 27:54Speaker 4: knowledge of his background. Before his arrest last year, the
- 27:59Speaker 4: married father in his 40s was reported to have changed
- 28:02Speaker 4: his legal name numerous times.
- 28:04Speaker 10: Mr.
- 28:05Speaker 4: X was able to settle in Britain under deep cover
- 28:08Speaker 4: as an IT consultant in the suburbs of a large
- 28:10Speaker 4: English city, despite reports that suggested his work for Haniyeh
- 28:15Speaker 4: was public knowledge. It has been reported that he was
- 28:18Speaker 4: known to be the son of another senior Hamas official
- 28:22Speaker 4: and that he'd been arrested in Egypt for operating a
- 28:25Speaker 4: tunnel allegedly used to smuggle gun and gold into Gaza. Nonetheless,
- 28:33Speaker 4: he claimed asylum in 2015 and was granted indefinite leave
- 28:37Speaker 4: to remain by the Home Office. It was also reported
- 28:40Speaker 4: that he attained citizenship and attended demonstrations outside the Israeli embassy.
- 28:47Speaker 4: He was arrested by National Crime Agency officers in central
- 28:50Speaker 4: London last November after Israel's National Intelligence Agency, the Mossad,
- 28:55Speaker 4: and German security and intelligence services learned of the attack.
- 29:00Speaker 8: Mr.
- 29:00Speaker 4: X faces extradition to Germany where he has been accused
- 29:04Speaker 4: of being a leading figure in planning what is considered
- 29:07Speaker 4: one of the worst terror plots in post-war Germany on
- 29:11Speaker 4: Jewish community centers, Israeli diplomats, and pro-Israel demonstrations. According to
- 29:17Speaker 4: a German indictment obtained by Bild, Mr. X has been
- 29:20Speaker 4: accused of transporting guns, including handguns, live ammunition, and items
- 29:25Speaker 4: that could be used as a disguise to a storage
- 29:28Speaker 4: facility in Vienna from Berlin. His arrest was part of
- 29:32Speaker 4: an effort by Berlin, which partners in Austria, Denmark, and
- 29:36Speaker 4: the UK, to detain seven suspects. and gather guns that
- 29:42Speaker 4: included an AK-47. The indictment also said that Mr. X
- 29:46Speaker 4: had pre-recorded a video in which he had appeared masked
- 29:49Speaker 4: and armed in front of a Hamas flag. In it,
- 29:52Speaker 4: he described the plot as an act of retribution for
- 29:56Speaker 4: Hamas's military wing the Ezzeddine al-Qassam brigades.
- 30:01Speaker 3: It is striking.
- 30:04Speaker 4: What the hell is any rational person thinking when you
- 30:08Speaker 4: take someone who was a Hamas terrorist, who was the
- 30:11Speaker 4: bodyguard for the head of Hamas, and you say, you
- 30:14Speaker 4: know what? We want this person in our country. We're
- 30:18Speaker 4: going to grant him asylum. We know he's a Hamas terrorist,
- 30:21Speaker 4: but we want him here. And not only are we
- 30:24Speaker 4: going to grant him asylum, we're going to make him
- 30:26Speaker 4: a British citizen. Well, I guess in the least surprising
- 30:30Speaker 4: thing since the sun rose in the east this morning,
- 30:33Speaker 4: the Hamas terrorists that they let in and embraced turned
- 30:36Speaker 4: around and continued planning and executing terror attacks. This is
- 30:41Speaker 4: a pattern we see, and it goes right back to
- 30:45Speaker 4: what did the Democrats say their number one priority in
- 30:48Speaker 4: America is? It is illegal immigrants. It is amnesty for
- 30:53Speaker 4: illegal immigrants. It is letting in criminals, and then criminals
- 30:56Speaker 4: includes terrorists. And if and when they do that, you
- 31:00Speaker 4: and me and all of us and our families are
- 31:03Speaker 4: all a lot less safe.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Yeah, you're absolutely right.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Don't forget, we do this show three days a week, Monday, Wednesday,
- 31:09Speaker 2: and Friday. You can hit that subscribe or auto-download button
- 31:12Speaker 2: so you don't miss a single episode. You can also

- 31:20Speaker 2: on Wednesday morning.
