- 1:14Speaker 2: let's go.
- 1:17Speaker 1: It's a story you need to hear to believe, then
- 1:19Speaker 1: grab your popcorn because.
- 1:20Speaker 2: There is more.
- 1:22Speaker 1: The Lays guy, the potato chip guy just dropped off
- 1:25Speaker 1: all the, is this for me?
- 1:27Speaker 2: Did he really bring this for me?
- 1:30Speaker 1: The Lay's potato chip guy just brought over right here
- 1:35Speaker 1: a package of limited edition Lay's barbecue brisket potato chips.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Do I eat these on air? Do I do that, Carl?
- 1:44Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I know. Why would I want smart food popcorn when
- 1:48Speaker 1: I can have brisket-flavored potato chips? I know it's the
- 1:53Speaker 1: popcorn moment, but brisket-flavored potato chips. Do we understand the
- 1:57Speaker 1: issue here? Everybody's trying to market my show. I'm telling you.
- 2:03Speaker 1: So here's what we've got. Now, Carl, I sent you
- 2:05Speaker 1: some audio. This is Congressman Jamie Raskin. And Congressman Jamie
- 2:10Speaker 1: Raskin is doing us no favors. What he's doing is
- 2:14Speaker 1: building into the continued thesis that if you create enough
- 2:19Speaker 1: angst and anger, you can have the violent action against
- 2:23Speaker 1: President Trump. This, the latest, is the referring to Trump
- 2:31Speaker 1: as a psychotic dictator.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Hit it there, Producer Carl, if you've got it. Half
- 2:34Speaker 2: the people were saying.
- 2:35Speaker 1: You can't beat the greatest military empire that ever existed.
- 2:39Speaker 1: You can't overthrow kings and queens and lords and nobles.
- 2:43Speaker 1: People have always lived under somebody like King George.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Or Vladimir Putin or Donald Trump.
- 2:48Speaker 1: That's the fate of humanity, to live under psychotic.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Dictators, people were basically saying. Trump got elected, right?
- 2:58Speaker 1: And then he didn't get elected, even though he says
- 3:00Speaker 1: he got elected. And then he got elected again. But
- 3:04Speaker 1: somehow it's psychotic dictator. It should be understood that Congressman
- 3:09Speaker 1: Jamie Raskin, Democrat of Maryland, wants to see Donald Trump
- 3:12Speaker 1: harmed and or killed. This isn't a debate that's happening.
- 3:19Speaker 1: These are facts as presented and they can't be denied.
- 3:23Speaker 1: This is what not only he wants, but I argue
- 3:27Speaker 1: it can be extrapolated out to the want of the
- 3:30Speaker 1: Democratic Party. There is no turning down the temperature. And
- 3:33Speaker 1: as I have stated on this show more than one occasion,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you want to turn down the temperature?
- 3:38Speaker 2: That's great. You first. You first.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Let Jamie Raskin stop it with this talk. But he's
- 3:48Speaker 1: never going to stop with this talk. And he thinks
- 3:50Speaker 1: he's moral and pious enough. Jamie Raskin makes Sheldon Whitehouse
- 3:56Speaker 1: look reasonable. And for those of you who follow the politics,
- 3:59Speaker 1: that's a burn, kids.
- 4:01Speaker 2: That's a... Damn! That is a burn. But none of
- 4:08Speaker 2: this ends.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And I want to make sure that everybody understands. I
- 4:14Speaker 1: didn't say it's a good thing. I didn't say you
- 4:16Speaker 1: feel good about it. That's not my argument. My argument
- 4:20Speaker 1: is the only way out is through. And this is
- 4:24Speaker 1: not going to end until it ends. We have already
- 4:28Speaker 1: seen the assassination attempts. We have already seen the violence
- 4:32Speaker 1: against Supreme Court justices. And the answer is they want
- 4:35Speaker 1: to keep it going. It is not going to stop.
- 4:38Speaker 1: They want this. They desire this. They support it. The
- 4:46Speaker 1: only thing we can do is keep them out of power.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I cannot stop the foolhardy residents of Maryland. from voting
- 4:54Speaker 1: for this despicable human being. He's not good enough for
- 4:59Speaker 1: the United States House of Representatives. He's not good enough
- 5:02Speaker 1: in any way. I can't stop them. But what we
- 5:07Speaker 1: can do across the country through these conversations is make
- 5:13Speaker 1: sure that enough people who don't want this violent cycle
- 5:16Speaker 1: to continue to be the only cycle To get in
- 5:19Speaker 1: the positions of power and blunt what it is he's doing.
- 5:22Speaker 1: To expose the madness of that position. The violence of
- 5:28Speaker 1: that position. And it is indeed a violent position. It
- 5:32Speaker 1: is the want. It is the desire. No one should
- 5:36Speaker 1: question whether or not the congressman, Jamie Raskin, wants to
- 5:40Speaker 1: see the president of the United States harmed and or killed.
- 5:43Speaker 1: That's what he wants. I say this with clarity. I
- 5:48Speaker 1: would say it to his face. I will debate it
- 5:51Speaker 1: anywhere because there's no other way to take that statement.
- 5:55Speaker 2: None. Zero. Now, I have been handed the barbecue brisket
- 6:04Speaker 2: potato chips. Do I do this now, Producer Carl? Do
- 6:07Speaker 2: I do this right now?
- 6:09Speaker 1: No, no.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Don't play sound effects. I need answers to questions. You
- 6:12Speaker 2: know what?
- 6:13Speaker 1: Are you having a hard time with things, man? I mean,
- 6:15Speaker 1: it's been a rough week. Do we need to check
- 6:17Speaker 1: in on you right now? I'm all alone here at
- 6:20Speaker 1: the studio.
- 6:21Speaker 2: None of the stations are here, Tony. I know. I know.
- 6:25Speaker 2: You're losing your mind. All right. I'm going to open
- 6:27Speaker 2: these right now. I'm going to open these right now. Annie,
- 6:30Speaker 2: do you want any of this? Are you sure? Annie
- 6:33Speaker 2: from Hank is right next to me. Oh, a brisket chip? Oh,
- 6:36Speaker 2: hold on. Oh, it smells like calories. Hold on a second.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I'm going in. I'm going in there. To your health. No, no. See,
- 6:51Speaker 2: you think it's a brisket chip, but it actually more
- 6:54Speaker 2: tastes like ketchup. Wait, hold on. That's a little bit
- 6:59Speaker 2: of brisket. I have no idea what's happening. This is weird.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Would you buy it, Tony? I don't know. I do
- 7:06Speaker 2: not know. I don't know where I'm at with this yet. Annie,
- 7:08Speaker 2: try one. Try one, Annie. Try one. I know it's
- 7:10Speaker 2: peer pressure. That's how we work, Annie. Oh, she went
- 7:12Speaker 2: in with two. There she goes. Annie from Hank is
- 7:15Speaker 2: trying a chip. Oh, I don't know. It tastes like
- 7:21Speaker 2: the State Fair? Where do you hang out at the
- 7:23Speaker 2: State Fair? Wow. I don't think I wanna know. Annie's
- 7:27Speaker 2: got a secret life over there at Hank. We live
- 7:30Speaker 2: and learn. We live and learn right there.
