- 10:38Speaker 3: He's still working on me.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Alright with that, I'm going to turn over to Carmen.

- 13:33Speaker 2: And now I am going to ask that you all prepare your hearts and minds as we pray in to SOAR.
- 13:40Speaker 2: So, father God, we come before you.
- 13:44Speaker 2: We give you all honor, glory and praise.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Father God, we thank you for being present in this event.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Father, we thank you for bringing the Holy Spirit.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Father God, we thank you for using us as vessels to spread your word.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Father God, we pray that anyone on this call who can hear our voices, if there is anything that is blocking them, father God, from receiving what you have for them today, we ask that you remove it now, in the mighty name of Jesus, father God, because we know that you have a special anointing and a special blessing for each and every person on this call and we want them prepared to receive it.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Father God, we just thank you, we praise you for this opportunity just to give your word, father God, we know that this is blessed.
- 14:27Speaker 2: We know that your will is going to be done, father God, and we just thank you that you speak through us.
- 14:32Speaker 2: You give us the anointing, father God, and we thank you for your blessings and Jesus' mighty name, amen.
- 14:41Speaker 2: And now we turn it over to Keisha Williams, who will be focusing on embracing a spirit-led life.
- 14:51Speaker 4: Well, thank you so much, Carmen, for that warm introduction and that powerful prayer, thank you.
- 14:57Speaker 4: I want to say a thanks to all of our organizers here today.
- 15:01Speaker 4: A very special shout out to Shelly Jeffcoat, who created the platform for us to be able to gather here today to come out of the Wilderness Prayer Group, and all of the administrators.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Thank you, carmen, for the vision of SOAR24 came from none other than our very own, carmen.
- 15:23Speaker 4: So thank you for putting that vision out there and inspiring all of us to come and share our stories.
- 15:30Speaker 4: And, you know, thank you to all the ladies who are going to be coming up and speaking today and sharing their hearts and what God has put on them.
- 15:37Speaker 4: And, most of all, thank you to all of you for being here, for showing up on a Saturday evening.
- 15:44Speaker 4: I'm sure there's many other things that you could have been thinking about doing tonight, but you're here to be fed and to share with other women your experiences and how God has blessed you and touched your life, and so I have to say that.
- 16:03Speaker 4: You know, when Shelly first began organizing this event, I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to do this or not, and even leading up to this, I've just been praying and I have been seeking the Lord about what he would have me to share with you, about embracing a spirit-led life.
- 16:26Speaker 4: And, you know, I just to continue on the prayer that Carmen started I just pray that God just use me as His vessel this evening and that, lord, that you just speak through me, god, and break down any barriers of fear, of fear of being vulnerable, and that just open up my heart to share what you would have me to share with the ladies that are here today.
- 16:53Speaker 4: In Jesus' name, we pray amen, and it's just a brave thing to be vulnerable and open up.
- 17:01Speaker 4: My topic tonight is embracing a spirit-led life, and when I first saw this topic, I immediately knew that it was something that I wanted to speak on and it was something that I wanted to share with you, ladies, because I can tell you for sure that during my times of darkness, when I felt as if I could not go on I didn't want to go on where I didn't want to live, where there was just so much going on in my life, where I just felt as if I wanted to end it, it was Jesus who kept me and it was God who was there in those dark times.
- 17:46Speaker 4: And so whenever anyone asks me why I believe, what I believe, or if they want to debate theological concepts or whatever, I cannot doubt the presence of the Lord and who kept me during those dark times.
- 18:01Speaker 4: And it was because I was able to embrace a spirit-led life that allowed me to get through that darkness and to embrace the light.
- 18:11Speaker 4: And when I think about embracing the word embrace means to wrap your arms around.
- 18:17Speaker 4: To wrap your arms around, and I feel that that is exactly what Jesus does for us.
- 18:22Speaker 4: When we need Him the most, he wraps His arms around us.
- 18:25Speaker 4: But the thing about that is that we have to do our part In order for us to soar in 24,.
- 18:32Speaker 4: We have to do our part.
- 18:35Speaker 4: We have to be disciplined and step into the spirit-led life in order for God to do His work in us.
- 18:44Speaker 4: All right.
- 18:45Speaker 4: So what I want to do today is I want to share with you seven practical steps that you can incorporate into your own routine to begin embracing a spirit-led life.
- 18:57Speaker 4: But before we get into those steps, I want to share some scriptures with you, and these scriptures I consider these scriptures to be my life scriptures.
- 19:05Speaker 4: They have carried me through many a times, and I want to just share them with you.
- 19:12Speaker 4: So the first scripture and I'm going to plug them in the chat as well as we go the first scripture I'm going to share is Philippians 3.14.
- 19:21Speaker 4: And this scripture says with my eyes fixed on the goal, I push on to secure the prize of God's heavenward call in Jesus.
- 19:30Speaker 4: I have four scriptures I'm going to share with you Now.
- 19:33Speaker 4: This scripture is so important to me and I consider it one of my life scriptures, because it really speaks on focus and God has been working on me to stay focused.
- 19:46Speaker 4: There are so many distractions.
- 19:48Speaker 4: The enemy will try to keep you from reaching what God has for you and you have to stay focused.
- 19:58Speaker 4: The next scripture is finally, brethren.
- 20:01Speaker 4: This is out of Philippians.
- 20:03Speaker 4: We're still in Philippians 4.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, just pure, whatever is lovely, whatever things are of good and poor, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things, the things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me.
- 20:23Speaker 4: These do, and the God of peace will be with you.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Again, this is another scripture that speaks to focus Through my process with God and the things that I've been through in my life, the end result has been just a very strong focus on Him.
- 20:39Speaker 4: If we keep our eyes on God, everything else is just a distraction.
- 20:44Speaker 4: So we have to stay focused, all right.
- 20:49Speaker 4: So the next scripture is Romans 12.
- 20:52Speaker 4: To a many of you many of you may be very familiar with this scripture.
- 20:57Speaker 4: This is a popular scripture Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing, you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
- 21:10Speaker 4: And the reason why I love this scripture is because it really speaks to the process.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Everything that we do with God is a process.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Right, we accept Jesus into our lives, we accept him as our Lord and Savior, but we don't change overnight.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Everything doesn't become perfect.
- 21:29Speaker 4: We begin to go through a process with God and he heals those wounds that we have from our childhood, from our past, from our trauma, and it's a process.
- 21:39Speaker 4: So when it says do not be conformed to this world, don't do things the world's way, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, sometimes we have to break down strongholds and we have to break down mindsets and things that lies that the devil has told us right.
- 21:54Speaker 4: And when we begin to change and we begin to transform, please trust and believe that you will be testing right.
- 22:01Speaker 4: And when you go through that testing you begin to gain discernment, you begin to understand what the difference is between when it's God and when it's the devil or when it's other things.
- 22:14Speaker 4: So when you have that discernment, you can make good choices and good decisions as you go through life.
- 22:19Speaker 4: And then my final scripture I promise this is the last one is also in Philippians, and this is Philippians 1-6.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work and you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ, don't give up.
- 22:40Speaker 4: No matter how hard it is right now, whatever it is that you're going through, whatever God is bringing you through, don't give up before you get to the good part, because there is a sweet spot with God.
- 22:53Speaker 4: There is a sweet spot with him where you stay focused on him and everything else is just extra.
- 23:00Speaker 4: It's just extra stuff, but you get into that zone, into that place with God.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Don't give up.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Sometimes it's going to get hard and you will have storms and you will go through things, but just stay on the course, because he who started a good work in you will finish it.
- 23:22Speaker 4: He will see it through to completion.
- 23:25Speaker 4: So don't give up before you get to that good part.
- 23:27Speaker 4: I remember when I wanted to give up, when I wanted to, I literally wanted to end my life.
- 23:34Speaker 4: I could not do, I just couldn't go on.
- 23:37Speaker 4: I was going through this stage of severe depression.
- 23:42Speaker 4: I just think now, on the other side of that, when I can see the light, if I would have given up and now I just feel like I'm just in this flow with God.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Does that mean that my life is perfect?
- 23:56Speaker 4: Does that mean that I'm perfect?
- 23:57Speaker 4: No, but I definitely have a place that I can go before his throne, that I can lay my concerns and my desires at his feet, and he brings me comfort, whereas I did not have that, and that's the relationship that I've developed with God and we have to have that relationship.
- 24:17Speaker 4: So, yes, now that I've shared with you my life scriptures and I've shared with you why they're so important to me, I want to get into it.
- 24:26Speaker 4: I want to get into these practical steps that you can do to begin to embrace the spirit led life.
- 24:34Speaker 4: There are these things.
- 24:35Speaker 4: You may already do, but we're ready to soar in 2024.
- 24:38Speaker 4: And if we want to soar in 2024, we have to get closer to God and we have to work on our relationship with the Lord.
- 24:46Speaker 4: We can't just expect him to just perform miracles in our life and do a work in us if we're not doing our part.
- 24:54Speaker 4: And that's what embracing the spirit led life is is just doing our part.
- 24:58Speaker 4: We have to seek after God and seeking after God, we are also building our spiritual muscles.
- 25:06Speaker 4: When we want to get in shape, when we want to get healthy, we go to the gym and we work out and we see, we start to see and we eat healthy right, and we start to see changes in our body.
- 25:19Speaker 4: So if we want to see changes from the inside out, if we want to have those fruits of the spirit where we have peace and we have joy and we have love flowing from us, then we have to work out our spiritual muscles.
- 25:36Speaker 4: And that's what it is about embracing a spirit led life.
- 25:39Speaker 4: So I have seven practical steps that you can do to embrace a spirit led life.
- 25:45Speaker 4: So the first one and I'm going to plug them in the chat as we go the first one is to read your Bible.
- 25:52Speaker 4: That's number one.
- 25:55Speaker 4: You have to get in the word, you have to read it.
- 25:59Speaker 4: I know it's a big book, I know it can get boring sometimes, but you have to read it and we are in 2024.
- 26:07Speaker 4: There is no excuse.
- 26:08Speaker 4: There are so many apps out there and reading plans that will guide you through reading the Bible in a year.
- 26:15Speaker 4: There are so many different versions.
- 26:17Speaker 4: When I started reading the Bible, when I just kind of got convicted and I wanted to start getting in the word, it was several years ago and I started with the King James version and thou art this and that, and it was so difficult for me to really understand what the word was.
- 26:36Speaker 4: But I started reading it and it was getting in my spirit and it was just.
- 26:40Speaker 4: I was just getting it in.
- 26:42Speaker 4: I didn't understand it all, but I was just getting in it.
- 26:44Speaker 4: But then I just moved on to another version that was easier for me to comprehend as I began to learn and understand the Bible and understand what resources were available to me.
- 26:58Speaker 4: So one app that I would suggest is the Bible app, the U version Bible app.
- 27:04Speaker 4: There are tons of reading plans there.
- 27:07Speaker 4: I like the message version of the Bible.
- 27:11Speaker 4: I think it gets the rate down straight to the point.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Some people say it's to water down, but I like it.
- 27:16Speaker 4: It gets straight to the point and lets me know what it is and what it means.
- 27:20Speaker 4: But you have the NIV version, the new international okay, shannon, I see you.
- 27:26Speaker 4: I have another person in there that likes the message too Okay.
- 27:29Speaker 4: But if you like that old school new King James version, it doesn't matter what version you read, just get the word in your system and in the beginning, even if you don't understand it, just get it in, because you begin to get revelation from the word and just understanding it.
- 27:47Speaker 4: It's so important that you read the word for yourself, right?
- 27:54Speaker 4: We have pastors and ministers and Bible teachers and other people who are in the word and out there interpreting it.
- 28:01Speaker 4: You're not going to agree with what everyone says.
- 28:05Speaker 4: That's why it's so important that you read the word further yourself and that you have a personal relationship with Christ.
- 28:10Speaker 4: And that's what these steps are really building you towards is having that personal relationship with Christ, and you don't have to read the Bible all day.
- 28:19Speaker 4: I mean, I wake up in the morning and that's the first thing I do I read my scripture for the day out of my Bible plan and it takes me all the 10, maybe not even 15 minutes, maybe 10 minutes to get into my word, just to get rooted and grounded in that and get my day started.
- 28:35Speaker 4: So you need to get into the word.
- 28:37Speaker 4: That is imperative.
- 28:39Speaker 4: That you get in the word and you understand what it says for yourself.
- 28:42Speaker 4: And don't be afraid to take a year and read that Bible cover to cover the first time, because sometimes we take scriptures piece by piece at a context and it really is a beautiful story when you start reading the Bible.
- 28:55Speaker 4: It is a beautiful God's word.
- 28:58Speaker 4: It's beautiful and inspired and I promise you you might think that it's not so boring when she get into it.
- 29:06Speaker 4: All right, number two, number two practical steps to leading a spirit led life, and I have seven, okay, number two is worship.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Yes, sharon, is definitely a love story.
- 29:21Speaker 4: So it's a love story, is a love letter from God to us letting us know how to live Right.
- 29:28Speaker 4: There's an instruction manual for our lives out there.
- 29:32Speaker 4: We don't have to stumble through the dark Is.
- 29:35Speaker 4: There's instructions on how we're supposed to live our lives and all we have to do is read it Right?
- 29:41Speaker 4: We're too busy trying to put the project together without reading the manual.
- 29:46Speaker 4: Okay.
- 29:48Speaker 4: Number two is worship, worship, worship, worship.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Put on some worship music.
- 29:53Speaker 4: Worship is also a heart posture.
- 29:56Speaker 4: All God wants is our worship.
- 29:58Speaker 4: That's all he wants.
- 30:00Speaker 4: When God brought the Israelites out of Israel and he when Moses led the Israelites to the promised land, all God wanted was these people to be free.
- 30:15Speaker 4: Set them free so that they could go worship him.
- 30:19Speaker 4: That's what he kept saying to Pharaoh.
- 30:21Speaker 4: Set my people free so that they can come worship me.
- 30:24Speaker 4: That's all God wants from us is our worship.
- 30:27Speaker 4: So worship worship is not just for Sunday morning.
- 30:32Speaker 4: When you go to church, take some time and put some worship music on right and allow yourself to go into the presence of the Lord.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Do that every day.
- 30:46Speaker 4: That is going to help build your spiritual muscle.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Allow the words, the music to uplift you, encourage you and bring you into God's presence.
- 30:57Speaker 4: So worship, make time for worship, okay, all right.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Number three this is my favorite.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Okay, this is my absolute favorite.
- 31:11Speaker 4: I'm not going to try not to stay on this one for too long.
- 31:14Speaker 4: I have to change the numbers, because every time I put the numbers in the chat, it goes back to number one.
- 31:20Speaker 4: So this is number three prayer and meditation.
- 31:24Speaker 4: Number three on embracing a spirit led life.
- 31:28Speaker 4: Okay, prayer and meditation, so important.
- 31:33Speaker 4: And I have to just personally tell you how my prayer life has changed.
- 31:38Speaker 4: Because I started off just kind of praying when I needed something, or, you know, go to God when, when I was in trouble or when I was distressed, and I'd be like, oh Lord, please help me, right.
- 31:52Speaker 4: And then you know, when everything was going all good, it was, you know, conveniently, I would pray and then, as I started working on my relationship and getting closer to God, I would pray and I would come before God and every time I tried to open up my mouth, I couldn't speak, I couldn't, I would, you know, start talking for a little while and then I would just get choked up, like I couldn't talk to God.
- 32:17Speaker 4: I would just feel like things were just, I just couldn't get it out and it was, you know, paid, too painful or whatever it was, and I would just.
- 32:25Speaker 4: So I began to just start coming to God in that quiet meditation and just listening and and just quietly praying to God, but I wouldn't talk to God.
- 32:34Speaker 4: And I remember having a conversation with a friend who told me, and I was explaining that to him, and he said to me that's the devil.
- 32:43Speaker 4: And I was like, well, you're talking about that's not the devil.
- 32:45Speaker 4: He said that's the devil keeping you from talking to God.
- 32:49Speaker 4: And I just kind of dismissed that because I didn't believe believe that it was the devil, I just believed that that was just.
- 32:56Speaker 4: You know how I prayed.
- 32:58Speaker 4: And so fast forward, a little while later I was going through some things in my life, like I was going through some really tough things and tough things in my relationship, my home life, tough things at work.
- 33:09Speaker 4: And I was, my back was up against the wall and I said, lord, what do you want from me?
- 33:18Speaker 4: I mean, I'm doing this, I'm doing that, what, what do you want?
- 33:21Speaker 4: Like I surrendered completely and totally surrendered, like I I couldn't do another thing.
- 33:26Speaker 4: I was like, lord, this, this is, this is too much.
- 33:30Speaker 4: And I heard the Lord speak to me very clearly.
- 33:33Speaker 4: He said I want you to open up your mouth and I want you to pray.
- 33:36Speaker 4: And so I said, okay, at this point I'm willing to do anything, lord, I'm willing to try Jesus, anything.
- 33:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 33:44Speaker 4: So I began to go in my prayer closet and set up my altar every day.
- 33:51Speaker 4: I had set aside a specific time that I was going to pray and I just began to open up my mouth and, when I tell you, for the first three months I was just not and just pouring everything out to Lord and he was healing me.
- 34:05Speaker 4: It was so it was just an amazing healing experience.
- 34:11Speaker 4: And so I began pouring out to God.
- 34:14Speaker 4: And then, as time went on, you know, our sessions, our prayer sessions, were a little calmer.
- 34:20Speaker 4: I wasn't snotting as much every single time but because I was getting healed and he was healing me and it was just a beautiful experience in my relationship with God began to go deeper and change.
- 34:33Speaker 4: And then he showed me.
- 34:34Speaker 4: He said you know, I hear you talking, I hear you talking, but you're not listening.
- 34:38Speaker 4: And I said what, what, what, what, what?
- 34:40Speaker 4: He said you had it right with the meditation.
- 34:42Speaker 4: Okay, I need you to do both.
- 34:44Speaker 4: So when you pray to me, you pray, and then I need you to sit quietly and listen to what I.
- 34:51Speaker 4: Let me talk back to you.
- 34:52Speaker 4: I said, oh, my bad, okay, let me talk back.
- 34:56Speaker 4: So God will speak back to you in your spirit.
- 34:59Speaker 4: When you pour out to him, he will speak back to you.
- 35:02Speaker 4: You have to sit quietly, you have to have time to listen, like a lot of times, we think we're Christians, right, so we think meditation and we think, you know, like Buddhist meditation, no, no, no, no, no, that's not what I'm saying.
- 35:13Speaker 4: I'm saying meditation as in Jesus, meditated in the garden, right.
- 35:17Speaker 4: So meditation as in sitting quietly with God in your prayer posture, that you would go into Jesus with right On your knees on your prayer and prostrate, however, you go to the Lord in your prayer position, right, and that's what I mean by prayer and meditation.
- 35:34Speaker 4: So you pour out to God and then you spend time listening as well to what he, the direction that he would give you, because you just told him what was on your heart, you told him where you're hurting, where it hurts, and now he's going to give you some direction.
- 35:46Speaker 4: He's going to give you some guidance on what you need to do to heal, on what you need to do to make it better or to address those issues in your life.
- 35:56Speaker 4: Okay, so that's number three prayer meditation.
- 36:01Speaker 4: Okay, I see some of the comments in the chat.
- 36:04Speaker 4: It's right to way communication in that healing in the most ugly way, with those ugly cries and those snacks and those tears, absolutely.
- 36:15Speaker 4: So, yes, absolutely Okay, so we're going to keep going.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Number four this one I really like too, is journaling.
- 36:26Speaker 4: Number four Four is journaling.
- 36:34Speaker 4: So it's a book that says to write down the vision, write it down and make it plain.
- 36:38Speaker 4: So it's helpful.
- 36:41Speaker 4: I find it helpful to write down my feelings and just free write.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Sometimes I just I like to type, so I'll get an entry and just like one page a day and I'll just type whatever is on my heart.
- 36:57Speaker 4: It doesn't we don't have to think too hard about it and just pour out to God in the form of writing, and it helps to get your feelings out, get your thoughts out on paper.
- 37:06Speaker 4: If God speaks to you through visions or dreams, then you want to write those things down so that you have them.
- 37:14Speaker 4: I keep a journal and then at the end of the year I go back and read it.
- 37:17Speaker 4: I'm right now reading my journal from 2023 and looking at that and looking at the things that God has brought me through and making sure I'm getting those lessons, because I don't want to go through it again.
- 37:27Speaker 4: You know that's how that works, right?
- 37:28Speaker 4: You got to bring you through some things.
- 37:30Speaker 4: If you don't get it, you'll see it again.
- 37:33Speaker 4: Maybe it'll just be in a different color, but it'll come back around again.
- 37:37Speaker 4: So I'm trying to get those lessons, I'm trying to learn it the first time so I don't have to go through it again.
- 37:42Speaker 4: So you know, yeah, reflection is good, exactly, so write it down, make it plain.
- 37:50Speaker 4: All right, number five we're almost there.
- 37:53Speaker 4: We have seven.
- 37:53Speaker 4: Okay, number five is listen.
- 37:58Speaker 4: Oops, sorry, oh, thank you, shelly.
- 38:01Speaker 4: Shelly put it in the chat.
- 38:02Speaker 4: Okay, number five is listen to sound teachings.
- 38:06Speaker 4: All right, listen to sound Bible based teachings.
- 38:11Speaker 4: If you can make it to church.
- 38:13Speaker 4: There are so many podcasts out there.
- 38:16Speaker 4: I guarantee the pastor has an online version of his, of his word every day.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Get into a discipline.
- 38:23Speaker 4: Everything that I've shared so far, we're at number five.
- 38:25Speaker 4: These are all disciplines.
- 38:27Speaker 4: Listen to yourself, whether you are driving to work or you're at work.
- 38:33Speaker 4: A lot of us work from home.
- 38:35Speaker 4: Put on a podcast instead of you know the daytime soaps or the talk shows.
- 38:41Speaker 4: Put on a podcast.
- 38:43Speaker 4: Listen to a pastor feeling and edifying your spirit and your soul.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Get a sound teaching in you.
- 38:51Speaker 4: All right, that's number five.
- 38:56Speaker 4: We're embracing that spirit led life so that we can build our spiritual muscles.
- 39:02Speaker 4: And what this is doing for us.
- 39:04Speaker 4: Oh, shelly is on it, we're on number six.
- 39:06Speaker 4: Thank you, shelly, I appreciate you.
- 39:07Speaker 4: Um, so we're building those spiritual muscles by doing all of these things so that when those storms come because the storms will come, no matter how close we get to God, no matter how deep we get in Christ matter of fact, the deeper we get, the the fears of the storms, right.
- 39:22Speaker 4: So those storms are going to come when we embrace this spirit led life and we do these things to build our spiritual muscle.
- 39:27Speaker 4: When those storms come, guess what?
- 39:30Speaker 4: It may shake us around a little bit, it may sway us, but we're not going to be uprooted, we're not going to be rocked to our core and and completely devastated and destroyed by these storms, because we've already been preparing, just like when a hurricane comes.
- 39:45Speaker 4: If you know that hurricane is coming and you've bored, you've got the boards up and everything.
- 39:50Speaker 4: When it comes, it's just going to pass on by, right, those of you living Florida?
- 39:53Speaker 4: It's going to pass on by.
- 39:55Speaker 4: It may get a little damage or whatever, but for the most part you're going to be okay and you're going to get through it and you're going to go ahead and be able to go on with your life.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Same thing when we're building up those spiritual muscles, when our muscles are strong, those storms come, we're going to be okay, we're going to be able to withstand.
- 40:14Speaker 4: All right.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Exactly, teacher will be steadfast and unmovable.
- 40:19Speaker 4: So number six is fellowship Attend church, go to church, join a small group, have some accountability partners and serve.
- 40:28Speaker 4: Serve in your church.
- 40:29Speaker 4: Okay, now you know I understand a lot of people say, oh, you don't have to go to church to believe in God.
- 40:34Speaker 4: No, but it will.
- 40:35Speaker 4: But having fellowship, having accountability, having a community of other believers is going to help you, is going to help you build.
- 40:48Speaker 4: And you know we all have to give each other grace, because I hear some people saying oh well, I don't want to go to church because you know we have church hurt Other Christians, other church members have done things or said things that may have hurt us or been un-Christian like.
- 41:04Speaker 4: But you have to remember that we're all seeking after Christ and we're all trying to have a relationship and we're all human beings and we all fall short sometimes, and so we have to give each other grace.
- 41:16Speaker 4: But the bottom line is, is your relationship.
- 41:18Speaker 4: You need to seek after him and just give the grace that you would like to receive in return.
- 41:25Speaker 4: So fellowship.
- 41:26Speaker 4: That's number six.
- 41:29Speaker 4: Number seven, finally we're at number seven, and remember, number seven is the number of completion.
- 41:35Speaker 4: So God created the earth and all the humans and the animals in seven days and on the, in six days, and then on the seventh day, he rested.
- 41:43Speaker 4: So number seven is rest, and I threw in a couple of other things in there and you can see in the chat.
- 41:49Speaker 4: You want to rest, but you also want to take time for self-care, taking care of your body and your temple.
- 41:57Speaker 4: Okay, your temple is where your body is, where the spirit of the Lord resides, right, and we want to be a vessel for God.
- 42:05Speaker 4: So in order to do that, we have to also take care of our ma, our body.
- 42:11Speaker 4: So it's a whole mind, body and soul situation.
- 42:16Speaker 4: Okay, all right.
- 42:19Speaker 4: So those are the seven, seven practical steps that you can incorporate into your life in order to embrace a spirit led life, in order to build your spiritual muscle.
- 42:34Speaker 4: When those storms come, you will be able to withstand.
- 42:39Speaker 4: So just a recap.
- 42:40Speaker 4: You're going to read your Bible, worship, prayer and meditation journal, write down your vision, listen to sound teachings, fellowship, find community and, finally, we want to rest.
- 42:53Speaker 4: We want to take care of our temple exercise, eat healthy and make sure that you're taking care of yourself.
- 43:03Speaker 4: So I really believe that if we do these things, we can begin to embrace a spirit led life and strengthen our spiritual muscle and strengthen our relationship with Christ so that we can really cope and get through those things that are difficult, but also so that we can heal.
- 43:28Speaker 4: We all have wounds inside, right, we all have wounds that we can't see, battles that we're dealing with.
- 43:37Speaker 4: That no one else knows but us and God.
- 43:39Speaker 4: And God is the answer.
- 43:41Speaker 4: He is the healer of all things.
- 43:43Speaker 4: Right, he is the healer.
- 43:45Speaker 4: He's the answer to our trauma, to our restoration.
- 43:49Speaker 4: So, in this, these seven practical steps, this is us doing our part so that God can do a work in us.
- 43:59Speaker 4: Okay, all right.
- 44:01Speaker 4: So I just want to thank you all for listening.
- 44:04Speaker 4: I want to thank you guys again for being here.
- 44:07Speaker 4: I love you all and I'm praying for you.
- 44:10Speaker 4: Pray for me, thank you.
- 44:13Speaker 4: And now I would like to pass it off to Tanya Gordon, who is going to speak to us about committing to obedience.
- 44:21Speaker 5: Tanya, Thank you, kasia.
- 44:24Speaker 5: That was just so awesome, those practical steps.
- 44:27Speaker 5: I love them.
- 44:28Speaker 5: I think you took some of my stuff, so y'all be ready to hear some of it again.
- 44:33Speaker 5: Can everyone hear me okay?
- 44:37Speaker 4: Yes, yes we can hear you, yes we're good, all right.
- 44:43Speaker 5: So let me get set up here, because I'm one of those people I got to give you visuals and put together something for you, so give me a hug, can we see?
- 45:02Speaker 3: Yes, we can see it All right.
- 45:05Speaker 5: So we're going to be talking about committing to obedience.
- 45:08Speaker 5: So, just to share with everyone.
- 45:12Speaker 5: Obedience has been something that has been on my heart since the beginning of last year 2023.
- 45:18Speaker 5: When God revealed to me my word, which was transition, and he also said you're going to have to start saying yes to some things that you might not be comfortable with, things that you might say no to.
- 45:35Speaker 5: So that's where that word obedience start to really be on my heart, because it's so easy to obey when he tells me to do something I'm comfortable with.
- 45:46Speaker 5: It's harder to obey when it's something I'm not comfortable with.
- 45:51Speaker 5: It's stretching me, it's growing me.
- 45:53Speaker 5: It's not always that easy.
- 45:56Speaker 5: So I'm going to talk to you about what I call the obedience journey today.
- 46:02Speaker 5: So just a quick prayer to open us up on this journey.
- 46:07Speaker 5: I just want to say, heavenly Father, we come to you acknowledging that we need to commit to being obedient to your will.
- 46:15Speaker 5: Lord, you are our truth and we need you in our lives.
- 46:20Speaker 5: Lord, you are the source of wisdom and you are very generous with that wisdom for those who ask for it.
- 46:26Speaker 5: So we ask today for your heart, that wisdom to us, so that we may align with your will so we can be obedient to you.
- 46:33Speaker 5: In Jesus name, we pray, amen.
- 46:35Speaker 5: So, as I said, obedience is just something that I had just been thinking on all of last year and so, as I was preparing about that journey, I started to think about, hey, what does that word obedient mean?
- 46:56Speaker 5: And then what does it mean to be obedient to God?
- 47:00Speaker 5: And as we go through those two questions, I'll then give you the four points that I see it as the obedience journey.
- 47:08Speaker 5: So, of course, one of those people, when you have a word, I have to go look it up.
- 47:14Speaker 5: What does obedience mean?
- 47:17Speaker 5: So, from our dictionary, when we use obedient as an adjective, it means submissive to restrain or command of authority, and another one is willing to obey.
- 47:31Speaker 5: So if we want to put that into a context of what does that mean when we're talking about what is it to be obedient to God?
- 47:41Speaker 5: What is that spiritual context?
- 47:42Speaker 5: What is that definition?
- 47:44Speaker 5: I look at it as choosing to be obedient to God means we are willingly submitting to his authority to restrain us to not do or command us to do an action or actions in our lives.
- 47:58Speaker 5: And I'm going to repeat the first two words that are underlined willingly submitting to his authority.
- 48:06Speaker 5: And when we do that, you see, choosing to be spirit led, as Keisha said, that will activate and drive our obedience and that will lead us into what Galatians says, which is, if we live by the spirit, let us also keep in the spirit, keep in step with the spirit.
- 48:26Speaker 5: So, and if you look at all of this, these are things that we're choosing to do.
- 48:31Speaker 5: Okay, we're making a choice.
- 48:33Speaker 5: We're choosing to obey God, we're choosing to go on this obedience journey, we're choosing to live by the spirit and we're choosing to keep in step with the spirit.
- 48:46Speaker 5: So, stepping into this obedience journey, I see four points, which is aligning, listening, asking and obeying.
- 48:55Speaker 5: And originally I had this is like a straight line, with some milestones on it, but as I thought about it more, this is not a linear journey, it's not a straight line, is not?
- 49:10Speaker 5: It doesn't have an endpoint.
- 49:11Speaker 5: This is a circular journey and even given point in our lives, we're going around the circle.
- 49:16Speaker 5: If we're trying to be obedient, because we're always trying to online, we're always trying to listen for his voice, we're always trying to ask him for his guidance and we're trying to obey his instructions.
- 49:29Speaker 5: So we'll start with our first point, which is aligning.
- 49:34Speaker 5: So how do we align?
- 49:37Speaker 5: I think he should set it, and it's always going to be our first point Study, the word.
- 49:43Speaker 5: We have to get into that word.
- 49:45Speaker 5: That is, that's our foundational texts, that's our guidance.
- 49:50Speaker 5: We have to do it when we're studying.
- 49:53Speaker 5: We do not just read those words, we dig deeper into those words.
- 50:00Speaker 5: And I'll share with you what I do.
- 50:02Speaker 5: I've shared this with some small groups.
- 50:05Speaker 5: At my church we actually had one that was teach me how to pray.
- 50:09Speaker 5: And I know I was one of those people who I didn't always know how to pray.
- 50:15Speaker 5: I knew Lord's prayer but I was like how do I pray for me with my words?
- 50:22Speaker 5: So one of the things we do is we tell us pick a scripture.
- 50:27Speaker 5: So I picked Psalms as our example, songs 143 and 10, which is teach me to do your will and when you are my God, let your good spirit line leave me on level ground.
- 50:42Speaker 5: And what I do is I start picking out words what's what speaks to me?
- 50:45Speaker 5: And I highlight them, I circle them.
- 50:49Speaker 5: Whatever you want to do, that's what I do, and then I make sure I write them down and then also I play like a word association game.
- 50:56Speaker 5: I'm like what did I hear with that word?
- 51:00Speaker 5: And then you write it down.
- 51:03Speaker 5: You want to make sure you get this down because if you keep it here it can get jumbled into all kind of thoughts.
- 51:09Speaker 5: We want to get it down on paper so you can go back and look at it.
- 51:13Speaker 5: So I put some of the words that I felt like highlighted for me in this verse and you see with my word association, what I associated with those words and this is part of me studying just one verse and rather than you do that, every verse, every part of that Bible, it's so much that you can pull out.
- 51:35Speaker 5: So I'm pulling out all of that because now, as I have these words I haven't written down how these thoughts I want to listen for God's voice around that word.
- 51:49Speaker 5: So how do I listen for his voice, which is what we said earlier.
- 51:55Speaker 5: We meditate on the word because we are listening for what he has for us, and when we're listening for God, we have to make sure that we do not listen horizontally.
- 52:07Speaker 5: Horizontally is we're listening to that human viewpoint, we're listening to ourselves, we're listening to others.
- 52:14Speaker 5: We want to listen vertically.
- 52:17Speaker 5: We want to listen to us, to his spirit, we want to listen to that Holy Spirit that is speaking to us.
- 52:23Speaker 5: And if you want to kind of know what's horizontal versus vertical, if you're starting to hear thoughts of fear, defeat, blame is chaotic and vertically, those are ungodly voices.
- 52:37Speaker 5: Those are your own voices or that's the enemy trying to get into your head.
- 52:42Speaker 5: When God speaks to us, it's with love, it's with grace, it's with uplifted.
- 52:47Speaker 5: Even when he's correcting us, he does it with love.
- 52:51Speaker 5: So when you're really having those thoughts and you start to think, where is this really God, think about what is those thoughts that you're hearing?
- 52:59Speaker 5: Are they coming vertically or horizontally?
- 53:07Speaker 5: And so when you're meditating, keep being track of what you wrote down.
- 53:13Speaker 5: You started out with your one verse, or a couple of verses.
- 53:17Speaker 5: You've highlighted some words, you've figured out some of the things you think with those words.
- 53:21Speaker 5: You keep meditating on those and keep writing down the thoughts that you're getting.
- 53:27Speaker 5: And when I looked at that verse, one of the thoughts is I must be open to receiving instructions from the Word to align with God's will.
- 53:35Speaker 5: And I put in a few more that I came in through, and one of my last ones, considering what I put together, is my journey by aligning, listening, asking and obeying my life's footing can stay steady and calm through life's tribulations.
- 53:52Speaker 5: So you want to make sure, write it down.
- 53:55Speaker 5: That's so key.
- 53:57Speaker 5: Not only do you have it here, but you write it down because you want to be able to go back and read that, and it's probably going to be even more that you're going to get when you reflect more on it.
- 54:08Speaker 5: And I will say if anyone has any words, any thoughts that they are getting from the scripture that you read, go ahead and drop those in the chat.
- 54:21Speaker 5: We want to hear that as well.
- 54:22Speaker 5: This is for us to be together in this obedience journey.
- 54:27Speaker 5: So, now that we have our thoughts, we have our words, we want to go to him for guidance.
- 54:33Speaker 5: You know we want to ask God.
- 54:36Speaker 5: You know why am I hearing this?
- 54:38Speaker 5: What, what am I supposed to do with this?
- 54:40Speaker 5: Who is this for?
- 54:40Speaker 5: Is this for me?
- 54:41Speaker 5: Is this for someone else?
- 54:42Speaker 5: Where do I go with this?
- 54:44Speaker 5: We want to ask God for his guidance.
- 54:46Speaker 5: So how do we ask?
- 54:49Speaker 5: We pray.
- 54:50Speaker 5: We pray is how we go to God.
- 54:53Speaker 5: This is where we talk to God, and when we pray, we don't pray without intention, we pray with the point, and that, for me, was always a big thing with prayers.
- 55:07Speaker 5: When I go to prayer, what is my point?
- 55:10Speaker 5: What am I going to God with?
- 55:15Speaker 5: That's why my prayer life had always been so hard for so long, because I always was one of those people like I don't know what to say, even though I know I have all of these things going on in my life when I would sit down to pray, I didn't know how to put it out.
- 55:31Speaker 5: So one of the things I did was, now that I got my thoughts out, I created prayer points from my thoughts, so I would just take it even more.
- 55:44Speaker 5: I took my words, I took my thoughts and like let me put this into a prayer point, let me put this into a complete sentence that I can say now, this is a prayer.
- 55:56Speaker 5: For anyone who's had any issues with you know crafting a prayer.
- 56:01Speaker 5: I'm one of those people who I started out writing my prayers.
- 56:05Speaker 5: I take these prayer points and then I write my prayer and then, after I write it, I say it.
- 56:11Speaker 5: And that has been such a difference in my prayer life, because even when I look at that journal, I'm like this is my book of songs.
- 56:21Speaker 5: You know, this is my prayers.
- 56:23Speaker 5: This is me being like David and saying I need your help.
- 56:28Speaker 5: I'm calling out to you, oh Lord.
- 56:31Speaker 5: I just want to say I love you and you have been so great to me.
- 56:35Speaker 5: So get that journal, write your prayers, even as you say them, write them so you have them.
- 56:44Speaker 5: And once you have your prayer points, like I said you, just you put it, put it all together here's minds where it's like asking the Lord for instructions and guidance, for understanding his will, keeping my heart and mind open to listen, declaring that I will live a spirit, live life and be obedient to his will.
- 57:03Speaker 5: And the claim that I will honor and trust God to handle all situations in my life, because he's stronger than anything man can come with.
- 57:12Speaker 5: And when I put that all together, that's exactly what I pray.
- 57:16Speaker 5: I go as they.
- 57:17Speaker 5: Heavenly Father, I'm coming.
- 57:19Speaker 5: I'm asking you to align my will and give me direction.
- 57:23Speaker 5: I'm asking you to open up my heart to listen to you.
- 57:26Speaker 5: Oh Lord, I am declaring that I am embracing a spirit, live life.
- 57:30Speaker 5: I am being will, be obedient to your will and your word.
- 57:35Speaker 5: I honor you, I trust you, lord, as the ultimate strength in this world.
- 57:41Speaker 5: In Jesus name, I pray, amen.
- 57:43Speaker 5: And so, finally, we've aligned with listening.
- 57:52Speaker 5: What's only the next thing to do is is to obey, even though we're getting direction from him, and we have to make sure that we are going God's way and not our way.
- 58:05Speaker 5: So the how is, of course, is to follow the guidance and we're back to making sure you're not listening horizontally and you're listening vertically.
- 58:18Speaker 5: How do I know I'm listening horizontally?
- 58:21Speaker 5: One of the big things I look at is am I rationalizing how to not do something that he asked me to do?
- 58:29Speaker 5: Rationalization is, to me, one of the biggest ways that you know if you're not really listening to his voice, you're listening to yours, because you're trying to get out of what he has for you, what he wants you to grow to, because maybe it's just not, it's just uncomfortable.
- 58:48Speaker 5: That's even me doing this.
- 58:50Speaker 5: I am more able behind the scenes kind of person.
- 58:53Speaker 5: So I told Shelly when we were talking about this.
- 58:57Speaker 5: I said all I said in the group chat was I thought this was a good idea.
- 59:01Speaker 5: Why am I speaking?
- 59:02Speaker 5: And I was coming up with always and I'm like, yeah, I don't think I can do this.
- 59:10Speaker 5: I don't know, my journey is still a journey.
- 59:13Speaker 5: I don't know if I can speak, but I had to say no, tonya, that's your voice, you're rationalizing.
- 59:19Speaker 5: That's not his.
- 59:21Speaker 5: He said for you to do this.
- 59:22Speaker 5: He doesn't matter where you're at on your journey.
- 59:25Speaker 5: You're supposed to do this.
- 59:26Speaker 5: So I have to be obedient, and this is where I met here with all of you, and so we want to obey God's instructions.
- 59:36Speaker 5: So, when it comes to decisions, we're at that fork in the road.
- 59:39Speaker 5: You know whether it's to lead.
- 59:42Speaker 5: Are you to lead?
- 59:43Speaker 5: Are you to be in front instead of the back?
- 59:45Speaker 5: Are you to be a follower?
- 59:48Speaker 5: And all I can say is, when it comes to that, if he says, go left or right, you go left or right.
- 59:57Speaker 5: When it comes to opportunities, you know we always talk about that door, whether it's starting a business.
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: Maybe you get asked to join another company and invest in something that, oh, this is going to make you millions.
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: You got to make sure you go to him and make sure you're asking what is his direction.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: So if he says, open that door, close it, you open or close it.
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: And then our big thing is people.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: When it comes to the people who we connect with or who we need to disconnect with, we need to make sure that we're listening for his voice, because not everybody's meant to be in our life but the full life season.
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: Some are only meant to be there for short seasons and we have to be okay with that.
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: So we have to be okay that when he says walk away or toward someone, that we do walk away or walk toward them.
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: And I will say also this is something that I've done recently with this group some of these ladies I'll be honest that I just really got to know them in 2023.
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: And that was because I connected one one and God said keep connecting, keep walking toward.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: And that's why I got in with coming out of the wilderness prayer group.
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: I am with this sister circle that we have here and it has been such a blessing in my life.
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: So that is our obedience journey Four points, and I hope everyone is ready to now commit to the obedience journey and in aligning, listening and asking and obeying God's instructions.
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: And I'll just close out with a quick prayer for us.
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: We'll say Father, god, we thank you for the hearing of the messages that we've had so far and being spirit led and embracing that and committing to being obedient.
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: We ask that you have touched each one of us in some way with that message and open up our minds to the thoughts that you want us to have as we go into the second part of this event.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: We look forward to hearing more words from you, lord, around anointing and renewal.
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: Just Lord, keep our hearts and minds open.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: We want to hear from you, lord, we want to align with you, we want to obey you.
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: In Jesus name.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: We pray Amen.
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: So I think at this point, miss Carmen, I believe we are having us a quick musical interlude and so we can get a break.
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: We done, had a lot and we got more to come.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I feel your kingdom fall on me, god, I see your kingdom rain on me.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Rain on me, rain on me.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I can see your kingdom come on me.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I can feel your kingdom fall on me, god, I see your kingdom rain on me.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Rain on me, rain on me In the valley.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I can see your hand when I'm lonely.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I feel your embrace when I'm fading.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I can feel your breath in my lungs holding my heart.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: When I'm broken, I am not alone.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: When I'm crying, god, you give me hope.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: When I'm fading, I can feel your breath in my lungs holding my heart.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I can see your kingdom come on me.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I can feel your kingdom fall on me, god, I see your kingdom rain on me.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Rain on me, rain on me.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I can see your kingdom come on me.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I can feel your kingdom fall on me, god, I see your kingdom.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Rain on me, rain on me, rain on me, rain on me.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I see cherry and some fire.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Lord, you answer prayer With a certain rider You're gonna take me higher.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Cherry and some fire Standing on around me With a certain rider.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Rain on me, rain on me.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I can see your kingdom come on me.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: I can feel your kingdom fall on me.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: God, I see your kingdom rain on me, rain on me, rain on me, rain on me.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I can feel your kingdom fall on me.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: God, I see your kingdom rain on me, rain on me, rain on me.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: I can see your kingdom fall on me.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: I can feel your kingdom fall on me, god.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: I see your kingdom rain on me.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: Rain on me, rain on me, rain on me, rain on me, rain on me, rain on me, rain on me, rain on me.
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: Alright, nat, take us a little bit higher.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: My sister, you know what you gotta do.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: Let's do it, alright alright, I'm ready.
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: Alright, greeting in the name of our Jesus and Lord and Saviour.
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: Okay, jesus Christ, thank you all so much for being here.
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: I'm so grateful that God has allowed us all to be here in this moment, to receive everything that he has for each one of us.
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: And today I'm going to be talking about harnessing the power of the anointing, the power of our God, the power that created the heavens and formed the earth, the power that carried the I'm getting excited the power that carried the Israelites through the wilderness, the power that keeps us going every single day, the power that wakes us up, puts us to bed, that rises the sun in the morning and brings it down in the evening.
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: And, lord, we are going to talk about that power and how we harness that power in the anointing that Jesus Christ has brought to us.
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: But before I get too excited and go, you know we gotta pray, we gotta bring God into the room.
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: He's already here, but we're going to go ahead and just let him go.
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: Let his power go and do what it must do.
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: Amen, heavenly Father.
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: Thank you, lord.
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: Thank you, father, for allowing us to be here today and to experience you in every way that you are meant to be experienced today.
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: Thank you for bringing these broken vessels, bringing us a sinful human being here who realized that we need you.
- 1:08:51Speaker 6: We can't do anything without you.
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: We are surrendered to your will.
- 1:08:55Speaker 6: We are seeking to have a soar for 24.
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: Lord, we want to be spirit led, obedient.
- 1:09:02Speaker 6: Harness the power of the anointing and renew.
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: Father, we come here asking for your power.
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: Show us how to do what you have designed for us to do.
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: Father, in Jesus' name, amen, amen.
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: So we're going to talk about harnessing the power of the anointing.
- 1:09:21Speaker 6: What does it mean to harness anyway?
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: Harness means to contain, to figure out how to use for the purpose that you've been designed to use for.
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: That's what harnessing is.
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: We harness animals when we're riding them and we need to be able to take control of them.
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: So that's what harnessing is.
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: And the power of the anointing.
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: The anointing is God's power inside of us.
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: So I kind of want to take us back a little bit.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: Before Christ, the anointing was a physical thing.
- 1:09:54Speaker 6: We physically had to be anointed by someone.
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: We had to be smeared or rubbed with oil.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: It was like a ceremonially saying that this person is different.
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: This person is divinely, has been placed divinely for this specific purpose.
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: When you were anointed, you received that anointing, usually by someone that was previously anointed and chosen by God.
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: These were prophets and priests and kings.
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: Back in the day it was with the people of high, but after Christ we are now spiritually anointed.
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: We received the anointed power from the Holy Spirit to accomplish purpose and task given by God.
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: And in order to harness the power, you got to have the one who gave you the power, we got to have God in our lives.
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: And note, we all have the ability, all have the ability to harness the power of the anointing when we are made new in Christ, which reconciles us to God himself through Christ, and we know this because of 2 Corinthians, 5, 17 through 8 that says therefore, anyone is in Christ.
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: The old is gone.
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: So that person you were before, before Christ got in here, before you had the power, before you knew who you were in God's word, is gone.
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: The new is here.
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: All this is from God.
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: So everything that we receive through Christ is what we receive from God, who reconciled us, brought us together to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: So we are all together, we are all one in the body of Christ and we all have the ability to harness that power of the anointing.
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: Through Christ, yes, lord, yes, thank you, father, lord.
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: And so today I want to tell you guys about a couple stories of some anointed, right.
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: And, pika, I pray that you are open and ready to receive what God's word has for you, because you got to have God's word in order to understand how to harness his power.
- 1:12:14Speaker 6: Okay, so I want to talk about one story that somebody who was anointed but they didn't quite understand how to harness that anointing.
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: This is going to be like a warning message to us.
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: Okay, so we got the story of Saul, the first anointed king over Israel.
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: All right, he was.
- 1:12:33Speaker 6: He was the Benjamin.
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: Okay, he was chosen by God.
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: Still right, he was a Benjamin.
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: These were the smallest tribe of people.
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: Just to give you a little backstory of Saul, he was a Benjamin, the smallest tribe of people.
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: So a lot of the people who were a Benjamin, they didn't really think that they were, you know, worthy of anything, right, because we're the smallest tribe.
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: You know, nobody really pays attention to the Benjamin, right?
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: But nevertheless, god chose this Benjamin.
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: He was a handsome young man, as the word says in 1 Samuel 9, too.
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: Right, he was as handsome as a man could be found anywhere in Israel.
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: So he was far in our day and time.
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: Right, that's how we look at it.
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: He was far, okay, and he was a head taller than anyone else.
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: And he's, luckily enough, he found his purpose.
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: He received the beginning, his anointing looking for his family's donkeys.
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: Right, his family's donkeys just so happened to just come up missing.
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: You know, they just so happened.
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: God made all of this right, because all things work together.
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: So his dad told him go and find his donkeys, his donkeys, sorry.
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: And while he was on his way to go find the donkeys, his friend that he was walking with told him well, we can't find the donkeys, so why don't we go ask the seer that's in town?
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: The seer was a name for the prophets in those days, as the text tells us in 1 Samuel 9, 8.
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: And agree, and he agreed, right, since they had money.
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: Because he asked his friend hey, do we have any money to give this person?
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: You know, they agreed, he agreed to go because they had it.
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: So he gets there.
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: Samuel's like hey, you were chosen by God and he's like okay, so he gets anointed by Samuel.
- 1:14:29Speaker 6: After being selected, he was given a specific set of instructions to fulfill his call, and I am going through 1 Samuel, 9 and 10.
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: So please go back and read it for yourselves to see what God has placed in your heart for you to receive through this message.
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: So, and as he, after he received his specific set of instructions to fulfill his calling to become king, he turns around, leaves to go.
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: Follow those instructions.
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: As he turn around and leave, god changes Saul's heart.
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: Please remember that God changes Saul's heart as Saul turns to walk in obedience.
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: So he's making by the people.
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: By following in obedience what God told him to do, saul does a good thing right.
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: He harnesses the power by rescuing the city of Jebesh.
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: Saul shows mercy also to those who doubted his kingship after the Lord helped him rescue Israel, because you always don't have those doubters, right.
- 1:15:31Speaker 6: The people are like, hmm, are we sure this is the God?
- 1:15:35Speaker 6: Like y'all sure, like I know, we asked for a king but this isn't the God, I don't know.
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: But he didn't pay that no mind and then he was renewed king right, and in Gilgit, samuel gives his farewell speech.
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: Samuel is the one who anointed him, right?
- 1:15:52Speaker 6: Samuel was the leader, and as Samuel was stepping down, the people asked for a king.
- 1:15:57Speaker 6: And so Samuel gives his farewell speech.
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: But in his farewell speech he tells the people of their newest sin.
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: And people have asked for a king.
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: Now, god had given them leaders, but they didn't need a king because they had God.
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: But they didn't know that right.
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: So they had asked for a king to somebody to lordship over them, when they already had God to lord over them.
- 1:16:19Speaker 6: But they asked for a king anyway.
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: And so God gave them a king.
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: That looked the part right, but mm-mm, it wasn't quite the part.
- 1:16:28Speaker 6: But God made him susceptible by what, changing his heart.
- 1:16:33Speaker 6: So Samuel tells the people like y'all have, this is your newest sin.
- 1:16:38Speaker 6: You've already had plenty of other sin, but this is your new sin because you did not understand that God was already your king.
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: God was already here taking care of you.
- 1:16:50Speaker 6: God was the same God that carried you through the wilderness to hear to the promised land.
- 1:16:54Speaker 6: But you wanted more.
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: You wanted to be like the other people who had kings that were carrying out and fighting for them.
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: But you don't need a king because you have me.
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: But now that you have a king, you must follow him.
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: You got to follow what he says and he must follow me.
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: See how now we got a hierarchy going on.
- 1:17:15Speaker 6: You can't come to me, no more.
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: You got to go through your king and follow through what he says, and so tell the people that.
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: And so, however, their king saw, he follows the directions all the way to.
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: He gets to Gilgall, and all of a sudden he decides that he wants to go outside of God's will.
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: He does his own thing in Gilgall, he decides that he wants to attack the Philistines.
- 1:17:47Speaker 6: And what does God do in response?
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: He tells him what I promised you you're not going to get anymore right, because your kingdom will not endure, because you are not obedient, right.
- 1:17:59Speaker 6: So that is the importance of living that obedient life, because God's promises are based on our obedience.
- 1:18:05Speaker 6: So the Lord tells him you're not going to get this.
- 1:18:09Speaker 6: And now, in response, I'm going to go choose a king that is stock, that's choosing after my heart, that's coming after my heart, that wants to be my king.
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: And you don't want to be my king.
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: I chose you because you look good.
- 1:18:25Speaker 6: I chose you because the people with you were the people's choice, not God's choice.
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: So keep that in mind, right?
- 1:18:34Speaker 6: So that's the story.
- 1:18:35Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:18:35Speaker 6: You can't just look the part.
- 1:18:37Speaker 6: You got to actually be the part on the inside.
- 1:18:39Speaker 6: You got to have the right heart posture.
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: Okay, then you got.
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: The second story is the story of Paul.
- 1:18:47Speaker 6: Oh, y'all know Paul, now Originally called Saul.
- 1:18:50Speaker 6: Paul was a persecutor of the new church of believers.
- 1:18:55Speaker 6: These are the people who are followers of Christ.
- 1:18:58Speaker 6: Now we are in Acts 5 through 9.
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: I just want to let y'all know exactly where we are.
- 1:19:04Speaker 6: Okay, we are Acts 5 through 9.
- 1:19:06Speaker 6: So we're talking about Paul, who was originally named Saul, but he couldn't be stayed that name.
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: No more, because y'all will find out why, right.
- 1:19:14Speaker 6: So Paul was a Pharisee, right, so he had received teachings about God and his word.
- 1:19:21Speaker 6: He knew the word.
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: However, there was one key that he was missing it, and we're going to find out in just a little bit.
- 1:19:29Speaker 6: So he was persecuting these people and he just thought he was on the right path.
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: Right, because this is what he's been taught.
- 1:19:36Speaker 6: This is how he's learned how to do things.
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: However, he just knew he needed some authority to do what he was doing.
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: Right, so he goes to get authority in man to do God's work, but he was stopped by Jesus on his way to persecute more believers after receiving man's authority to persecute the believers of Jesus Christ, and that's in Acts 9, 1 through 3.
- 1:20:07Speaker 6: So when he is stopped by Jesus, what they say, there was a bright light and there was a voice.
- 1:20:14Speaker 6: The people who were with him, they just heard the voice, but they never saw anything right, because this wasn't for their eyes.
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: This was for Paul's eyes, or AKA Saul's eyes.
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: So he was given instructions to go into the city and he would be told what to do.
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: So I need you to go into the city and wait, have him.
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: When he tried to get back up, he was blind.
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: So he had to be led by the people that were there to enter the masques into the city and for three days.
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: For three days he was blind and he didn't eat or drink anything.
- 1:20:52Speaker 6: So I can imagine in that moment he was probably thinking like what in the world is happening to me?
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: Why am I here?
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: Why three days?
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: What is the point of this?
- 1:21:01Speaker 6: Like I can't eat nothing, I don't.
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: He was probably going over and over it in his mind, but he was given a vision of a man named Anayah that would come and place hands on him to restore his sight.
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: And so, by all of this, he was put in a position to receive a miracle from the person that he did not believe in, because his mindset was not set to understand why?
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: Because he was not in a heart posture to receive Jesus.
- 1:21:35Speaker 6: See, he had the knowledge, but he didn't have the understanding.
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: And in order for us to have spiritually open eyes, we have to have an open heart to receive God.
- 1:21:46Speaker 6: We can't be so hardened by what we know in the word that we don't where we're not receptive of God giving us the word in the way that we need to receive it, because the way that Shelley needs it is different from the way that Natalie needed.
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: The way that Mckisha needs it is a way is different from the way that Carmen needs it.
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: We all need God's word in a different way because we all have different fields that exist inside of here.
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: We need our seeds to be implanted in different ways, because some of us got rocky paths and don't know we got rocky paths.
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: Some of us have a concrete pathway.
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: Some of us have different places.
- 1:22:26Speaker 6: Some of us got a bunch of thorns, because somebody done pitched us in our side, somebody done hurt us, and so we got all these things that are inside of us, that we don't know that exist there, but God knows that exist there and he wants to clean that out so that we can have a good and noble heart to receive all his power and be able to utilize that for the purpose that he intended us to be utilized for.
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: So I'm going to keep on going down to.
- 1:22:58Speaker 6: So when Anayis got there, right, he told him what happened to him.
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: So he confirmed it.
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: Like, I'm coming to you, I'm going to confirm what happened to you, and now I'm going to confirm what's going to happen next, because you need to understand that Jesus has put the same one you've been persecuting, has put you in position to receive a miracle, but not only just to receive a miracle, but to receive your purpose, so that you can walk freely, unlike the people that you were persecuting.
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: Okay, you got to be in position.
- 1:23:32Speaker 6: So Anayis puts him in position to do what he has to do.
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: So immediately.
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: The text says in Acts nine, 18 through 19,.
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: Immediately, something like scales fell from South eyes and he could see again.
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: But I was supposed he didn't just see physically, he was seeing spiritually.
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: He got up and was baptized and after taking some food he regained his strength.
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: And the word says in Acts nine 20, he began preaching immediately because he had knowledge.
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: He now, he had an open heart and he had understanding of who Jesus was.
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: So there was nothing to delay him from doing what God had designed him to do.
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: So he began preaching immediately and people were astonished by his conversion.
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: This is a miracle.
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: How dead is man that was just persecuting people be doing?
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: And that's where Paul didn't care nothing about that, because his mind, his heart, everything was set on Jesus, set on God and getting the gospel out there.
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: So it says that Paul grew more and more powerful and it baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Messiah.
- 1:24:54Speaker 6: So, and when he got to Jerusalem he tried to join the disciples, but they were afraid of him.
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: Why were they afraid?
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: Because they they didn't have the quite heart that God has been telling us we need to have.
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: Right, the heart wasn't quite open enough to receive that this man had had gotten a change through Jesus.
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: Even though they were preaching about Jesus, right, they didn't understand that Jesus to could change his heart from a persecutor to a believer.
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: But that's okay, because that just wasn't his community to be a part of.
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: His community was with the Apostle.
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: So he was taken to the Apostles and he told them of his journey and they allowed him to stay with him and so this was his community.
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: He belonged with the Apostles and so he actually became an Apostle and after that he moved freely in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: So, listen, the things that we need to harness the power of the anointing is constant work on our inner temple, which is our heart.
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: We have to have an open heart to God and to understand what God wants for us.
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: We have to be able to create that, and that temple has to be created by having a foundation in the knowledge of God.
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: Not just knowledge, but understanding.
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: You got to understand what you're reading in God's word.
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: You got to be able to be receptive, because God's going to talk to you and tell you, natalie.
- 1:26:29Speaker 6: You got to know what this word means.
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: You got to have a foundation of God's word and then you got to have faith in that right.
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: This is the walls.
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: This is the walls of your temple in your heart.
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: So your foundation is the knowledge of God, the walls is the faith and the roof is your actions.
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: What are you doing?
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: Are you putting what God has told you into place or are you still walking around here, caring about what people think about you?
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: Are you going to preach the word of God or are you going to just sit back and listen and let people tell you you can't do something?
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: Are you going to allow the negative thoughts in your mind to keep you from being who God has designed for you to be, or are you going to stand up and fight and you're going to soar through what God has told you to do, and are you going to guard your heart?
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: Because guess what?
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: Guarding your heart means that combating against anything that anyone has to say against you that is not foundational in the word of God.
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: Because if I don't see it in the Bible, baby, I don't receive it.
- 1:27:35Speaker 6: Okay, because I can't do nothing with this.
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: This ain't come from God.
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: If it ain't biblical, it ain't Natalie.
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: If it ain't biblical, it ain't God.
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: I don't have no time for it.
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: And so this is where it comes to you being in constant relationship with God, constantly consulting him on your thoughts, having that journal that Keisha and Tanya talked about.
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: You got to constantly be communing with him, every single day, digesting and meditating on his word, always knowing who God is and what God's word says about you, willing to be used in the way that God calls surrendered to his will.
- 1:28:16Speaker 6: Your heart and your mind, your whole being, has to be surrendered to him and understanding that you were placed here to serve God and others, not just yourself.
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: This is not about you.
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: You get something for it, but this ain't about you.
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: This is about God and this is about other people, Because we are one body and it's one body.
- 1:28:41Speaker 6: We are meant to love each other.
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: We are meant to keep each other going.
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: So that's why it's important to make sure you have that community of believers that are chosen by God.
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: See, paul tried to find one community that wasn't for him, but he found the community that he was supposed to be in and guess what?
- 1:29:04Speaker 6: It just enabled him to keep going forward and boldly speaking in the name of the Lord.
- 1:29:10Speaker 6: And you have to be obedient, okay, because he saw the first saw.
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: He wasn't obedient to God's word, so he didn't prosper.
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: He had to watch somebody else live the life that he so wanted to live.
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: But after God had told him this is what you're going to have, you're going to have this kingdom if you follow these things.
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: He didn't follow them, so now he had to watch somebody else do it and it burned him up on the inside.
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: But guess what?
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: He still failed to do what God had told him to do.
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: Listen, once you repent, god will restore.
- 1:29:48Speaker 6: But he failed to repent.
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: Saul failed to repent.
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: He just kept doubling down and trying to kill the new anointed one.
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: So God just kept going and let him go on by what he was going to be and watch the new king.
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: But Paul immediately understood that the way I've been is wrong.
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: In those three days I was in, willing to beg that he was repentant of what he did, and that's why there was no delay, because he repented and he was ready to move forward.
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: And without delay he began preaching immediately.
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: So listen, brothers and sisters, make sure that you are working on your temple by allowing God's word to penetrate into your heart and allowing God to do what God is going to do in your life, because in order to harness the power of the anointed, you have to have a vessel, and the vessel is our heart.
- 1:30:56Speaker 6: That's where our temple of God's power exists.
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: Thank you all so much for allowing me to speak.
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: I am honored at God's power and glory in Jesus' name, amen.
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: Amen.
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: And the whole church said amen, amen, amen.
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: All right, All right, Mckisha, Hold on, we can't hear you Mm-mm.
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: That's all right.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: Why don't I play a song?
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: And then you come back out, and then when you come back, we'll get started.
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: So y'all hang in there.
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: I'm just going to play one more song while Mckisha is getting set up and while we're soaking in y'all what we just got Amen.
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: Everybody clap it up like, uh yeah, just like Jesus, would it turn the water into wine?
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: I just want y'all to have a good time.
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: Let me hear the hoops, all right.
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: Let me stop.
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: Yes, we can hear you.
- 1:33:07Speaker 7: Let me tell you something Today.
- 1:33:11Speaker 7: Let me tell you something, but we're not going to give him no credit.
- 1:33:16Speaker 7: I'm going to say from the internet, going out from my phone, I'm like laughing at him because I'm like you don't understand.
- 1:33:23Speaker 7: God word is still going to go out and you can stop me because you know what Jesus cover me under the blood.
- 1:33:36Speaker 7: If you never pick that one up, that needs to be your theme music for 2023.
- 1:33:42Speaker 7: You need to cover yourself under the blood every given moment.
- 1:33:49Speaker 7: When you go in, when you come out, you need to cover yourself up because there's protection in the blood and when he see the blood, he runs because he know he is powerless when the blood of Jesus.
- 1:34:02Speaker 7: So I just have to start off with there, because you know our amazing technology is something.
- 1:34:23Speaker 6: I know what to do?
- 1:34:24Speaker 7: I know what to do.
- 1:34:26Speaker 7: I'm going to get on my phone, don't worry, I know what to do.
- 1:34:35Speaker 7: We can hear you now, girl, let me tell you, don't worry, I'm about to get on my phone because this internet thing here he is playing and I refuse to allow him to take any of this moment for his shine.
- 1:35:01Speaker 7: So just let I will get on my phone, just let me log on Jesus.
- 1:35:12Speaker 6: Let's see, let's go.
- 1:35:17Speaker 7: Well, you want to play your music and show me why get online on my phone.
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: Bring the home band in right here.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: Oh, we won't have a good time.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: We're supporting now.
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't understand.
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: We said that.
- 1:36:09Speaker 7: Well, I'm back, father.
- 1:36:13Speaker 7: God, we thank you for this day that you have carved out for all of us to come together, for you to allow us to speak to one another, to be vessels to be used by you.
- 1:36:28Speaker 7: Father, we just act, we just decreased that they don't see us, father, that they just see you.
- 1:36:33Speaker 7: When we open our mouth, father, god, is filled with your words to pierce the heart of men.
- 1:36:40Speaker 7: We just thank you for this day.
- 1:36:42Speaker 7: We thank you for this moment, god.
- 1:36:44Speaker 7: We thank you for each and every presenter who came and spoke your word, father God.
- 1:36:48Speaker 7: We just cover them under the blood.
- 1:36:50Speaker 7: Father God, we know the enemy is mad.
- 1:36:53Speaker 7: That's all right, because we're on purpose.
- 1:36:56Speaker 7: We are on purpose and we're so thankful that you are allowing us to be on purpose for we to tap into your divine will for our lives, for sure in 2024.
- 1:37:11Speaker 7: Let's go, right?
- 1:37:15Speaker 7: So, listen, hey guys, hear me, am I good, are we good, all good?
- 1:37:24Speaker 7: So on Friday, all week, I've been asking God.
- 1:37:29Speaker 7: I'm like okay, god, I have this opportunity to talk to your, to, to the people, right?
- 1:37:35Speaker 7: I don't know what you want me to say.
- 1:37:38Speaker 7: I don't know what I supposed to be doing.
- 1:37:40Speaker 7: I have to lean on you, because I don't want to lean on my own understanding, because, you know, my understanding is just not anything.
- 1:37:48Speaker 7: It's all about you, right?
- 1:37:50Speaker 7: So I'm sitting bed and I'm like okay, renewed purpose.
- 1:37:55Speaker 7: And I copy the scripture, romance 12, to Something like that, and I copy it in my notes, because I use my notes in my iPhone to do my, my sermons or speakings, or whatever God tells me, or whatever.
- 1:38:15Speaker 7: I put it in my notes, right?
- 1:38:19Speaker 7: So I copy and paste Romans 12, to which I'm going to read to you right now, right?
- 1:38:23Speaker 7: It says and this is the NIV version version.
- 1:38:26Speaker 7: It says do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
- 1:38:36Speaker 7: Then you will be able to test and approve what God will is His good, pleasing and perfect will.
- 1:38:46Speaker 7: Romans 12 to now, kisha, you and the Holy Spirit must have been talking about my stuff too, because I was like Lord, she said the same thing, but it's just about aligning and us being one body and that we are one spirit and I'm just so grateful, right.
- 1:39:07Speaker 7: So I said okay.
- 1:39:08Speaker 7: So this is back to my story, so I copy and paste that.
- 1:39:12Speaker 7: So at nine o'clock every morning, you, I, have the same application.
- 1:39:17Speaker 7: I'm talking about the you version Bible.
- 1:39:19Speaker 7: It pops up and it says you won't believe what it says.
- 1:39:23Speaker 7: Romans 12 to.
- 1:39:27Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:39:27Speaker 7: I'm like, wait a minute, are you waiting for me?
- 1:39:30Speaker 7: I said wait, wait, wait.
- 1:39:33Speaker 7: Okay, now, clearly you are here.
- 1:39:36Speaker 7: I must be listening because you're them on a copy of the 850, 820 and nine o'clock you bringing the background again.
- 1:39:44Speaker 7: So clearly I'm in the right phase.
- 1:39:46Speaker 7: So, thank you, lord.
- 1:39:48Speaker 7: So tonight, romans 12 to is our key right, because we do not in 2024.
- 1:39:54Speaker 7: We can look like the world, you know, I know everybody's been listening to Mr Cat Williams on the Shay Shay show and everybody charming with words and stuff.
- 1:40:07Speaker 7: Roll back no judgment.
- 1:40:09Speaker 7: If you have to, mckisha, have right, but we cannot be getting caught up in this worldly stuff, these worldly events, this worldly stuff.
- 1:40:20Speaker 7: That is not what you're supposed to do in 2024, if you want to sort, okay.
- 1:40:25Speaker 7: So then I'm talking to Shelly and I'm like girl, this is what happened to me, this is what's going on, and not knowing that she's talking to another slip and the spinners Romans 12 to came around.
- 1:40:42Speaker 7: Gift right, shelly?
- 1:40:43Speaker 7: I don't see you coming.
- 1:40:48Speaker 7: Yes, ma'am, we were so stunned because we hadn't talked to you, but it goes to show you that God is truly aligning us for 2024.
- 1:41:03Speaker 7: We can't take the old into the new.
- 1:41:05Speaker 7: It's not going to work.
- 1:41:06Speaker 7: I have four things too, miss Keshia, you said you have seven.
- 1:41:11Speaker 7: Four is balance.
- 1:41:13Speaker 7: So I have four things, and the four things is reading God's word daily, just like you tell your family, your husband, your kids.
- 1:41:26Speaker 7: You talk to them.
- 1:41:27Speaker 7: You got to read God's word daily in the morning and carve out time to read God's word, get on you verse, get you some, get you a devotional that, get that word downloaded into you, because this is how you're going to soar 2024.
- 1:41:49Speaker 7: The word has the Legos, the Reema.
- 1:41:52Speaker 7: It has to be inside of you, okay.
- 1:41:57Speaker 7: Number two prayer and listening.
- 1:41:59Speaker 7: Okay, so you know how we take God, our checklist right and we like praying and prayer for none.
- 1:42:06Speaker 7: No, no, no, we not taking checklists, right.
- 1:42:08Speaker 7: We going in asking him because he said, if you delight yourself in me, I will give you the desires of your heart and then, once your heart starts transforming, most of the stuff is going to be what his will for you.
- 1:42:20Speaker 7: So, no, no, no, no, checklist, right.
- 1:42:24Speaker 7: We're going in asking him Father, what is my purpose that you have for me to be here today?
- 1:42:30Speaker 7: What are we doing today, holy Spirit, that I'm skipping ahead on myself?
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: What are we?
- 1:42:34Speaker 7: doing today?
- 1:42:35Speaker 7: What do you want me to?
- 1:42:37Speaker 7: What is our accomplishing our purpose in this 24 hour that you are lighting me today?
- 1:42:43Speaker 7: What do you want me to do?
- 1:42:45Speaker 7: Right and number three relationship with God.
- 1:42:51Speaker 7: Yeah, that has to be important.
- 1:42:54Speaker 7: Relationship, meaning you won't have to be intimate with God just like you are intimate with your friends on social media While you intimate with your husband and your children.
- 1:43:07Speaker 7: You're going to have to get into a relationship with God.
- 1:43:10Speaker 7: He's a jealous God.
- 1:43:13Speaker 7: He's got to be number one.
- 1:43:15Speaker 7: He has to be number one.
- 1:43:16Speaker 7: Relationship with God.
- 1:43:18Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:43:20Speaker 7: Number four the Holy Spirit is our helper.
- 1:43:24Speaker 7: See how I was jumping ahead of a little bit earlier.
- 1:43:27Speaker 7: The Holy Spirit has to be your helper.
- 1:43:30Speaker 7: Now I'm going to give you scriptures because, if you don't know me, but my people know me I got to give you the word because I don't want you to be like this is Mckisha.
- 1:43:40Speaker 7: I didn't pray that I decreased that he may increase.
- 1:43:45Speaker 7: It is all his word that I want you to plug into yourself and to go back and study, to make yourself account, to hear his word for yourself.
- 1:43:54Speaker 7: All right, so first word is Joshua 1,8, and I'm going to read the NIV Keep this book of the law always on your lips.
- 1:44:04Speaker 7: Kisha, you said meditate, meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.
- 1:44:13Speaker 7: Then you will be prosperous and successful.
- 1:44:17Speaker 7: That's what we have to do, right?
- 1:44:20Speaker 7: And Romans 12,2, it says if you want his God's will, his good and pleasing and perfect will right, so his word is just confirming his itself, right, so that's our second thing.
- 1:44:35Speaker 7: So you got to be in his word, you got to read, you got to spend time so you can get the word into you.
- 1:44:45Speaker 7: So, when a situation comes, when the storm of life is coming, because it's coming, right, because?
- 1:44:50Speaker 7: But the thing is you can become a sore like an eagle, right, you could be an eagle.
- 1:44:56Speaker 7: And guess what an eagle does when a storm comes?
- 1:44:59Speaker 7: They fly above the storm.
- 1:45:01Speaker 7: They use the storm to soar, to elevate, they use the storm to go to the next level, right, to go higher.
- 1:45:10Speaker 7: Right, so we got to have the word in us in order to do this, right?
- 1:45:14Speaker 7: We can't do it on our own strength, right?
- 1:45:17Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:45:19Speaker 7: So John 14, 15 and 19, the NIV it says Jesus promised the Holy Spirit.
- 1:45:26Speaker 7: So, but you got to have.
- 1:45:28Speaker 7: You can't do this on your own.
- 1:45:29Speaker 7: You have to have to have to start talking to the Holy Spirit.
- 1:45:38Speaker 7: You're a helper.
- 1:45:39Speaker 7: He left us a helper.
- 1:45:42Speaker 7: He did not leave us by ourselves.
- 1:45:44Speaker 7: Okay, and John 14, 15, 19 said if you love me, keep my command.
- 1:45:51Speaker 7: He keeps going back to the same thing.
- 1:45:52Speaker 7: Right, if you love me, keep my commandments and I will ask the Father, here we go again, and he will give you another, another advocate to help you and be with you forever.
- 1:46:05Speaker 7: The spirit of truth, something right, the word cannot accept the world.
- 1:46:11Speaker 7: The world, the world Romans 12, too.
- 1:46:15Speaker 7: The world cannot accept him because neither sees him nor knows him.
- 1:46:23Speaker 7: But you know him If you're doing what he tells you.
- 1:46:27Speaker 7: You know him, for he lives with you and he will be in you and I will not leave you as an orphan.
- 1:46:35Speaker 7: He didn't leave us as an orphan.
- 1:46:37Speaker 7: He said I will never leave you nor forsake you.
- 1:46:38Speaker 7: I will come to you before before the law in the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me because I live.
- 1:46:48Speaker 7: You also will live.
- 1:46:50Speaker 7: John 14, 15, 19,.
- 1:46:54Speaker 7: In IV right, the word is reconfirming itself of all the things that we have to say, all right, and also Proverbs ooh, this one right here Proverbs 3, 1, and 8.
- 1:47:07Speaker 7: Wisdom bestows well-being, my son, do not forget it's just.
- 1:47:16Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 1:47:17Speaker 7: I'm not that I think about God, you just man.
- 1:47:20Speaker 7: God, you be so amazing, my son, do not forget my teachings, but keep my commandments in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
- 1:47:37Speaker 7: That love and faithfulness never leave you.
- 1:47:41Speaker 7: Bind them around your neck, right from all the tablets of your heart, oh my God Jesus.
- 1:47:50Speaker 7: Then you will have favor, a good name in the sight of God and man.
- 1:47:55Speaker 7: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean on your all-understander Father God, father God, Father God man my God, my God, and all your ways, submit to Him and he will make your past straight.
- 1:48:17Speaker 7: Do not be wise in your own eyes.
- 1:48:20Speaker 7: Fear the Lord and son for evil.
- 1:48:24Speaker 7: This will bring health to your bones and health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
- 1:48:34Speaker 7: Oh, my God, now that I saw this with the faith, I was just you know how.
- 1:48:41Speaker 7: You just okay, I was just in the moment and I'm just like I just I'm just seeing these scriptures and I'm just now that I'm actually I'm actually seeing it like it all ties together, like from Herman, from Kesha, from Tarnia, from Natalie, like it's all ties together.
- 1:49:06Speaker 7: Man, this is so good, right?
- 1:49:09Speaker 7: So yesterday, friday, yesterday, friday, right, I was listening to Dr Miles Monroe is, hey, listen, kesha said some podcasts, some YouTube stuff, you know what, and versus listening to you know the shows and stuff.
- 1:49:29Speaker 7: Dr Miles Monroe, if you ain't never, ever tapped and listened to Dr Miles Monroe, his teacher is.
- 1:49:39Speaker 7: So he taught, he, he, his teaching is so relevant to this day and time that I was amazed.
- 1:49:47Speaker 7: I mean, it's just amazing how God works.
- 1:49:51Speaker 7: It's just timeless, right?
- 1:49:53Speaker 7: And he and I was listening to it and Shelly was talking about how, because I'm the queen.
- 1:50:00Speaker 7: If you guys don't know, I'm with the Fest.
- 1:50:02Speaker 7: I'm the queen of vision boards.
- 1:50:03Speaker 7: I got my whole family on vision boards.
- 1:50:06Speaker 7: I had even started a vision, a business, starting trying to do vision boards.
- 1:50:10Speaker 7: But when.
- 1:50:11Speaker 7: Shelly said this year, a clear slate like a clear canvas, that that that was.
- 1:50:21Speaker 7: That was hard for me to see because I'm like this is what I do every year.
- 1:50:27Speaker 7: I have even got my family to do it but clear vision, nothing like blank.
- 1:50:35Speaker 7: Okay, god, this is going to take a fake walk.
- 1:50:37Speaker 7: But I was listening to Dr Miles Monroe and he said and this is what he said many are the plans.
- 1:50:45Speaker 7: He says, Proverbs 1921.
- 1:50:48Speaker 7: He reminded me that many are the plans in a person's heart, but it's the large purpose that prevails.
- 1:51:00Speaker 7: See, we can make all the plans, you can go and cut off all the magazine, all the visions and all this stuff and all this things, but you have to remember that God's plan is going to prevail.
- 1:51:16Speaker 7: And wouldn't you want to be in his divine purpose and his divine will so his plan can prevail for your life, like that, that right there I said Lord, okay, I get it.
- 1:51:31Speaker 7: I I now don't get me twisted wrong said that you don't need to be writing out stuff and vision and rule.
- 1:51:37Speaker 7: That's not what I'm saying.
- 1:51:38Speaker 7: But don't be like me, I would be so strategic and would beat myself up if it didn't, if I did not follow it.
- 1:51:46Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:51:48Speaker 7: So what I'm saying is, many are the plans in a person's heart, but it's the large purpose that prevails.
- 1:51:59Speaker 7: Proverbs 1921 and this is the ENIB.
- 1:52:02Speaker 7: So God's plan is going to prevail, okay, okay, and in order for us to soar in 2024, you have to.
- 1:52:13Speaker 7: You have to read God's word daily, pray and listen.
- 1:52:22Speaker 7: See, we got the.
- 1:52:23Speaker 7: I got the prayer thing down pat.
- 1:52:25Speaker 7: It's the listening piece.
- 1:52:26Speaker 7: A relationship with God.
- 1:52:29Speaker 7: Talk to God.
- 1:52:30Speaker 7: See what's on his heart, see what he got going on for you, for your family, for your friends, your neighborhood, your job.
- 1:52:36Speaker 7: Talk to him.
- 1:52:38Speaker 7: It's a relationship.
- 1:52:39Speaker 7: You need a relationship.
- 1:52:40Speaker 7: Think about relationships with your family and stuff.
- 1:52:43Speaker 7: Create that relationship with God, create that moment with God and remember that you have the spirit of truth, the Holy Spirit that's within you, so you are never alone, even in your storms, he is with you, riding the waves with you.
- 1:53:04Speaker 7: He is the spirit of truth.
- 1:53:05Speaker 7: He will whisper when you need to understand something you don't understand something, even in the word.
- 1:53:10Speaker 7: He will give you understanding his word.
- 1:53:14Speaker 7: He will show you.
- 1:53:15Speaker 7: See what confirmed, as you guys see, multiple confirmation came to me on Friday I just laughed.
- 1:53:22Speaker 7: And now that I see all of these scriptures tied back to your heart, your heart, father.
- 1:53:34Speaker 7: We thank you so much, you, the way you strategically place things in order, god.
- 1:53:42Speaker 7: You are amazing, god.
- 1:53:45Speaker 7: You are an amazing God and we just thank you for just allowing us to be a part of this journey with you, because you don't need us.
- 1:53:55Speaker 7: You don't need us, we need you, just like we need the air which belongs to you, father.
- 1:54:05Speaker 7: We thank you, father.
- 1:54:06Speaker 7: We thank you, father, God, we thank you for this day.
- 1:54:11Speaker 7: God, we thank you for allowing us to just breathe your words, god, for your words are living in act of God and it goes before us, god.
- 1:54:21Speaker 7: So we just thank you, father.
- 1:54:23Speaker 7: We thank you God.
- 1:54:25Speaker 7: We thank you for this time, god, we thank you, father.
- 1:54:28Speaker 7: God.
- 1:54:28Speaker 7: We pour everything out at your feet, god, every agenda, every vision board, everything, god, because we know that you are our own Afro and Omega and everything in between.
- 1:54:46Speaker 7: Thank you, lord.
- 1:54:49Speaker 7: Thank you for aligning our lives.
- 1:54:51Speaker 7: God, Thank you for using this group.
- 1:54:54Speaker 7: Father, god, thank you for this opportunity.
- 1:54:58Speaker 7: God, all these people on this planet and you aligned, and you want us to speak your words.
- 1:55:07Speaker 7: God, thank you, father.
- 1:55:09Speaker 7: We just thank you for this opportunity.
- 1:55:12Speaker 7: We just thank you for this day and your precious son Jesus name.
- 1:55:16Speaker 7: Amen, amen, amen.
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: Amen, amen, amen, amen, glory to our Father's name.
- 1:55:32Speaker 8: I don't even know where to start, because the key is I know you guys thought you were going to come in here and we're going to be talking a lot about Eagles.
- 1:55:42Speaker 8: What we're talking about is how we get to the level that the Lord wants to take us in 2024.
- 1:55:50Speaker 8: Thank you, carmen, for opening us up with what SOAR is all about.
- 1:55:56Speaker 8: Thank you, keisha, for just stepping in and talking about how we can be spirit-led and the things that we need to do to accomplish that.
- 1:56:06Speaker 8: Those seven things are key and I know that each of you took that last note that she said talking about journaling.
- 1:56:13Speaker 8: Let's make sure that we have written those things down so that we can refer back, because in our heart of hearts, that's where we need to pull this information from.
- 1:56:22Speaker 8: Thank you, tanya, for going through and then talking about obedience and sharing the slides and things of that nature and really bringing it back together, because at the end of the day, I heard read the word three times confirmation.
- 1:56:40Speaker 8: I heard prayer and listening meditation three times confirmation.
- 1:56:45Speaker 8: The relationship with our Father we talked about Natalie talked about the anointing.
- 1:56:50Speaker 8: We talked about the heart.
- 1:56:52Speaker 8: At the end of the day, don't let it get to that point where you're not really looking at your heart, because that is where the Lord really wants you to walk in love, to walk in everything that he has for you and, in order to do that, check your heart posture Coming in.
- 1:57:15Speaker 8: The one thing we were all praying about was Lord, let us be a vessel tonight.
- 1:57:21Speaker 8: We're all broken, we're all leaking, but what we are not is giving up.
- 1:57:27Speaker 8: What we are not is giving in.
- 1:57:29Speaker 8: What we are are children of the Father and really just want to share what he has given to us.
- 1:57:37Speaker 8: We are so excited about the fact that each of you showed up in the way that you did, because God does not work in coincidences.
- 1:57:49Speaker 8: That is not how he operate.
- 1:57:51Speaker 8: Everybody is here because you were directed here.
- 1:57:55Speaker 8: We are really grateful for the fact that you took the time to show up for yourself, because in 2024, it's really about checking our heart posture, making sure that we are honoring what the Lord has for us to do.
- 1:58:13Speaker 8: Again, I really just want to thank you for showing up and thank you for opening your heart, because it's one thing to see.
- 1:58:22Speaker 8: You got to check your heart.
- 1:58:27Speaker 8: You can ask the Lord to show you things, but guess where you're going to show it In your heart.
- 1:58:33Speaker 8: Be diligent about being vertical.
- 1:58:41Speaker 8: I think that's what Tanya talked about.
- 1:58:44Speaker 8: If it's horizontal and you've got things going on and not really honed in on what the Lord has for you to do, or for you to say, take some time, it's okay to sit and just let him meditate on his word and just let him talk to you.
- 1:58:59Speaker 8: He does that, he really does.
- 1:59:02Speaker 8: That is the key.
- 1:59:04Speaker 8: Sometimes just sitting still.
- 1:59:06Speaker 8: That's why the slate for 2024 is clean.
- 1:59:09Speaker 8: It's okay to be clean.
- 1:59:11Speaker 8: It's okay to just walk and just allow the Lord to just talk to you and you listen.
- 1:59:17Speaker 8: You don't have to always have anything to say, because sometimes you say the wrong thing and then you get that fork in the road and you end up going the wrong direction.
- 1:59:28Speaker 8: Again, we thank you for coming and spending this time for us and going over the allotted time with us.
- 1:59:35Speaker 8: We thank you for that.
- 1:59:37Speaker 8: With that, I am just going to close this out in prayer.
- 1:59:40Speaker 8: Father God, thank you for the opportunity to come before you.
- 1:59:43Speaker 8: Thank you for the time that you have spent with us and with us being in your presence, your Father.
- 1:59:49Speaker 8: We know that you do not operate in coincidence, father, each of us were directed here for a reason tonight and we just want to thank you and ask you, father, that you would just reveal to us exactly why you brought us here, father.
- 2:00:04Speaker 8: And then, father, show us confirmation into that as well.
- 2:00:08Speaker 8: Father, help us to abide in you, allow your word to fill our minds, direct our decisions, father, transform our hearts.
- 2:00:17Speaker 8: Father, get away those things that are not, that are going to prevent us from soaring.
- 2:00:22Speaker 8: Father, help us to lean in Father, with our mind, our bodies and our soul.
- 2:00:28Speaker 8: Father, thank you again for your presence tonight.
- 2:00:32Speaker 8: Thank you for all the sisters that presented here tonight.
- 2:00:35Speaker 8: Father, we ask that you would continue to walk with them, that you would continue to share or guide them, father, as they deliver the word from, not just tonight, father, but God.
- 2:00:48Speaker 8: We're going forward.
- 2:00:49Speaker 8: We thank you again for your presence.
- 2:00:51Speaker 8: We thank you, dear Father, as we each depart, that we remembered, dear Father, to keep you first, to write down those things that you would guide us in.
- 2:01:01Speaker 8: Dear Father, help us to just lean in on you, dear Father, for everything that we do.
- 2:01:06Speaker 8: Father, we love you and we appreciate you.
- 2:01:08Speaker 8: We appreciate the hot part, opening up our heart, dear Father, so that we can continue to receive Lord.
- 2:01:15Speaker 8: We just thank you and we love you in your Son Jesus' name.
- 2:01:17Speaker 8: Thank you for this opportunity, dear Father.
- 2:01:21Speaker 4: Amen.
- 2:01:23Speaker 3: Amen, Wow, that was powerful Y'all.
- 2:01:28Speaker 3: I'm going to stop the recording now and you know, again, I appreciate everybody coming and staying a little bit.
- 2:01:34Speaker 3: Later I will have the replay on the social media street so that we can share it with other folks.
- 2:01:40Speaker 3: I'm going to stop that because we needed to have this registered somehow, so I'm going to stop sharing.
- 2:01:45Speaker 3: I mean, I'm going to stop recording.
- 2:01:51Speaker 3: I'll take you off the spotlight.
