  Gallup survey are worried they won't be able to afford needed

  care this year, the highest ever.

  A record 23% now say the system is in a state of crisis and

  sharply last year, 2025 saw a remarkable decline, likely the

  largest one year drop in murders ever, around 20%.

  With violent crimes falling across most cities and regions,

  Perceptions improved some by late 2025.

  Gallup's October poll had only 49% calling National Crime a

  serious problem, the lowest in years, and fewer folks saying

  it's rising. But heading into this year,

  December shows most Americans expect crime rates to rise in

  been arrested or detained, but those cases are tied to

  immigration enforcement protests or interference, not corruption.

  Meanwhile, Trump has pardoned or commuted sentences for around 17

  politicians convicted of corruption, mostly Republicans,

  but a few Democrats, too. So the tally on locking up
