  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, selfishly, you want to keep Campanila, you want to keep Yadensky.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But these guys, you know, they're gonna get what they deserve, they're hardworking, they're smart, great communicators, great coaches, so what happens happens, we don't know how that's gonna play out.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to be doing a mock draft just about every single week up until the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of different ways the Jack Wars can handle this thing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know what James Gladstone that they're going to be aggressive, whether that be through the draft, for agency, the trade market, or all three, or two or three, they're going to be aggressive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're going to do some things that surprise you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's zero question about that in my mind.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So with that in mind, I got really aggressive in this mock draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: is Buster Brown gonna be back is Devon Lloyd gonna be back is Travis E. T. and gonna be back all these different you know pieces and then you don't know if the Jack Wars do let all those guys walk do they replace them on some level in free agency or how does this all work we don't know.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But one thing I do know is the Jaguars, in my opinion, need to find some more superpowers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And the goal of this draft was to do that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think a way that the Jaguars can potentially do that is by trading back up into the first round.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you're saying, well, from 56, they're going to trade all the way up into the first round, that's almost two rounds.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But there are some teams in the 20s that really lack draft capital.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that they could potentially be swayed by a pretty good offer.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And obviously, you're not just trading up for anyone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You're trading up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If a player falls to a point where you're like, this is a guy, we have as a blue chip prospect that we absolutely love, that we want to add to our program, that we think can help us level up and take the next step and be that much more difficult to beat in January, hopefully February, right, moving forward.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We traded with the Chargers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They do have the 22nd pick, so we gave them 56, 88, and a 27 second round pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now again, full disclosure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: or just full context like the jackwars, they could very well get aggressive before the draft and make a trade for a player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And not even have that's 20, 27 second round pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: James Gladstone is very familiar as he has said in well position uniquely positioned to have an F them picks mindset.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But in this situation, and this is just an example of a thing that Jaguar could potentially do.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They trade up to 22.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They give up two second round picks, one of those is in 2027 and a third round pick to get to 22, excuse me, to get to pick 22.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And with pick 22, there's a number of options.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Again, I'm thinking about obviously trying to get the best player, but also trying to create an advantage week to week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One way you can create an advantage that we have talked about is by becoming a heavy 12-person L team and not only being heavy in 12-person L, but having two guys that are really good blockers and really good receivers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Johnny Munt and Hunter Long are serviceable at best.

  [SPEAKER_00]: How about Kenny Oncideek, the best tie-in in the class who is a really good blocker, and a really good receiver, and an absolute freak.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's available here, and I'm not saying he will be available or he won't be available.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Is it possible he's here?

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so in this PFF mock draft simulator, he's here at 22, and we take him, and he might say, oh man, you're going to trade up for a tie-in.

  [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of the problem with titans being drafted so highly, in my opinion, has been the fact that they're just receivers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But again, Kenny Ontsideek paired with Britain Strange gives you like a super powered 12 personnel package where you've got great receivers, you've got great blockers, you've got these guys that are physical that can move, that can get in space, they can help you in the run game, they can help you in the past game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You don't know if the jack wars are going to run the ball or throw the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I really, I mean, that'll give me fired up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And there's some tight ends later in the draft that could potentially fit that mold a little bit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But a lot of the tight ends in this draft are either like, I view them as almost strictly a wide tight end that's going to be more of that blocker and less of that receiver or vice versa, more of that F-t-t-t.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's not a lot of really balanced tight ends in my opinion in this class.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And Kenyanset Eek is one of them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would absolutely be fired up and you could say, oh, the Jaguar's aren't gonna trade up that high.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Well, nobody thought they were gonna trade for Travis Honour last year either, did they?

  [SPEAKER_00]: So do not be surprised if they get aggressive and do some different things.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and just give Trevor Lawrence more answers to the test that are presented to him and just cause nightmares for opposing defenses.

  [SPEAKER_00]: At 81, we still have pick 81 in the third round.

  [SPEAKER_00]: In this simulation, you know, I'm looking at offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I went with Jonah Coleman.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I thought he was the best player on the board.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jonah Coleman, they running back out of Washington that we've talked about, and if you keep Travis E. T. N. You're obviously not going Jonah Coleman at 81, but if you don't keep Travis E. T. N. And Jonah Coleman is the best player available, I could see it, you know, because you do have two in an Allen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think Jonah Coleman at almost 230 pounds brings a little bit more of that

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have, I think he's listed at five nine.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if he's that tall.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Earlier this week talked about him and like just kind of his style reminds me of a blend between Michael Turner and Maurice Jones Drew.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he is as explosive and fast.

  [SPEAKER_00]: in the open field as either of those guys were coming out.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not like that level of player, but he does have some of that quickness and obviously that contact balance and the ability to bounce off tackles and run through tackles.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he's also one of the reasons like I'm so bullish on him is he's a great receiver out of the backfield and he's a really good pass protector.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think having a complete back at 81 that provides a little bit of a change up

  [SPEAKER_00]: At 100 overall, went with a little bit of a swing here with Skyler Gill Howard out of Texas Tech, the interior defensive lineman.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguars could use more juice on the interior of the defensive line, both current like presently and moving forward in the future.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a guy that's dealt with injury, so that's

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, he could have potentially been drafted much, he still could, he could go earlier than that, based on his skill set, because he's one of those kind of three tech type of guys.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's undersized about 290 pounds, not super tall, but he has a denser frame that you would expect at 290, but he is just super explosive, quick off the ball, has all those traits that you look for for a player that could potentially be a disruptor.

  [SPEAKER_00]: both against the run and the past, just somebody who can get in the backfield and disrupt.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think the Jaguars could use a little bit of that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Certainly.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then I went, again, defensive front at 124 and we're just doing four rounds here in this mock draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Malachi Lawrence out of UCF, just another player to familiarize yourself with, I think that he has a lot of the traits off the edge that you're looking for, the explosiveness, variety of past rush moves, he can win on the outside arc, he can bounce back inside, can rush from a lot of different spots.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's not the same mold as Josh Hinds Allen or Trayvon Walker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And those are, those two guys aren't in the exact same mold.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're both really big, crazy athlete.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So Lawrence isn't as big as those guys, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think that he could be a good potential change up for you, compete with Danny Strigger, compete with BJ Green and try to raise the overall talent level of that edge, edge room.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and the ability to get after the quarterback quickly.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's where we went in this draft and I think obviously if this is the path, that means that maybe you did resign a buster round or you did bring in a different corner back that you feel like can start for you opposite Travis Hunter.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Travis Hunter is going to be starting outside corner of the number one corner.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One problem, I think, that the Jaguar has moving forward can be answered within the roster already.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's, they are not good against number one receivers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have not been good against number one receivers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter, I think, is the obvious answer to that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think that that's got to be the obvious answer to that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So you get him out there more at corner, focus more at corner, and you either bring back Buster Brown or another free agent, and if that doesn't happen, then you're gonna have to draft somebody pretty early.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But in this scenario, again, we're thinking Travis Hunter at CB1, and bringing back a Buster Brown or signing a free agent that you feel can come in and start for you opposite, Travis Hunter.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so other than that, you talk about linebacker, you might be saying, well, why didn't you take an off-ball linebacker, Devin Lloyd's probably gone?

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would not be mad at all if they decided to bring him back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's definitely some linebackers in this class, I think they could try to replace him with.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He got the most out of Quay Walker and Adrian Cooper and Devon Lloyd.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So could you say, well, we could get a lot out of Jack Kaiser and Ventral Miller.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The kid at a Cincinnati, I think, does a lot of the things.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I just started watching him this week, but yeah, he's a guy that was a former adressor before he got a Cincinnati converted off ball linebacker and has just a ton of skill.

  [SPEAKER_00]: His name is Jake Golday at a Cincinnati.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Somebody I would be keeping an eye on as well if the Jaguars are going to lean into linebacker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Part of me thinks they're not going to just based off the history that the Rams have of kind of pinching pennies at linebacker, off ball linebacker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: elevates that to hold like multiple tiers above what you currently have and potentially gives you a match up nightmare for opposing defences to have to deal with.
