- 0:00It's Pike and Amanda in the morning. All right, So you had a
- 0:02tipping situation, like we all have more and more just everybody wants a tip,
- 0:07and so it's a gray area, right, but you found yourself in
- 0:10an awkward one. Yeah. So usually after a service, when you fill
- 0:13out the hey, here's your receipt, you can have the option to leave
- 0:17a tip, and usually it just shows like ten, fifteen twenty or custom
- 0:23tip or no tip, and it's pretty pretty much up there, right.
- 0:27Well, I had somebody had had it on their phone and it said fifteen
- 0:32twenty twenty five, and then there was no other option, Like, there
- 0:36was no option that you could see as you were there and they're sitting there
- 0:39staring at you, and maybe there was in fine print, but when you're
- 0:42in that situation, I'm like, and then I'm looking at the fifteen percent
- 0:46tip and this sounds terrible, but I'm already paying you say, it's one
- 0:50hundred dollars. Now the fifteen percent tip. You want another like fifteen bucks
- 0:54on top of that. But the service that was done, you're getting pretty
- 0:57much all of that money because of what it was. Yeah, Okay,
- 1:00I don't want to give it I don't want to say it just because I
- 1:03don't want to throw any companies not doing it. Not doing it. You're
- 1:07right though, when it is a large bill item. Like I just when
- 1:10we were moving from Florida, we had a bunch of junk we're thrown away
- 1:11and we had to have somebody come, like some garbage people come pick it
- 1:15up. It was like two hundred bucks to clean up the garbage on a
- 1:17curb. And they asked for a tip, and it's like a fifteen percent
- 1:21tip is like thirty dollars, but it's all you know, it's already crazy.
- 1:23But if it's like an eight dollar meal, yeah, I'll tip thirty
- 1:26percent all day because it's a dollar or whatever. Well, and that's just
- 1:30it when you're put in those situations, and even fast food. We posted
- 1:34this on our Facebook page, feel free to chime in a lot of people.
- 1:37I guess there is a local subshop that people are not happy with because
- 1:40it's now automated and it's giving you the option to add tips all the time.
- 1:44It's like, okay, well why are you getting that tip because you're
- 1:47getting an hourly wage, whereas one hundred percent. I worked in the restaurant
- 1:51industry. You tip at a restaurant period, end of story. Well,
- 1:55yeah, and I mean that's just the thing where the service can vary so
- 1:57much. Some people go away above and beyond, and that's to be rewarded,
- 2:00right, But at a fast food place, I mean, I'm with
- 2:04you, like, I think that's that's probably the line. Intern Gracie.
- 2:06Do you have any interesting Facebook comments? Um? Yeah, Amanda says,
- 2:09depending on the service I'm getting, will determine if I click yes or no,
- 2:13hair nail salon, yes, walking up to a counter to get a
- 2:16coffee or don't It. No difference to me is my yes can take thirty
- 2:21minutes or more, and they can have a full conversation with a person.
- 2:23Oh okay, interesting Here I compiled a little list of like scenarios. I
- 2:29want you to tell me if you would tip in this situation. Okay,
- 2:31all right. Number one on the subway No, no, concession stand worker
- 2:39at a Fargo Force game. No, no, no, give that.
- 2:44Concession stands are tough because they they all have the iPad. Well, I
- 2:46guess, okay, So we were at the Fargo Force the other night,
- 2:49and I guess that is kind of a concession. It was a beer,
- 2:50and yes I added a tip, but I mean, see again. Another
- 2:53thing is this if I'm using in my card, yes, I never have
- 2:55cash on me, so I always feel bad. Yeah. Yeah, but
- 2:59if you're just handing it. It's interesting because if they hand you a bottle
- 3:00of water, you wouldn't tip, right, it's a bottle of water.
- 3:02If they hand you a can of beer, literally the same act physically that
- 3:07it was the same thing, so accurate because there's alcohol in it. Now
- 3:10do you feel Yeah, I've never thought about that. Hotel staff like the
- 3:15cleaning staff. So usually like a one night's day, I don't which I
- 3:20should. In America, I don't. This is really weird. But when
- 3:22we it's been a while, but if I travel out of the country,
- 3:24I'll always leave like five pacos or whatever it is on the bed because I
- 3:29really want them to make the flamingo because I think it's really cool towel flamingo.
- 3:34Or they'll leave you a little extra, you know, sometimes champagne.
- 3:37You never know. Yeah, yeah, you shouldmove them up the like cruises
- 3:38too. It's pretty standard there, okay, but it's for the towel animals,
- 3:43so it's also funny because I think of you know, why would I
- 3:46not do that here in America or a local That's that's insane. I would
- 3:49not do that. But it doesn't cross your mind. Well, it sounds
- 3:51like you hate America? What about it? This is one I struggle with
- 3:54because I'm here a lot Chinese buffet. No no, no, not even
- 3:59a dollar. They work so hard. They's like you go to the one
- 4:01in West Fargo. It's like when you're there, they're like, wait,
- 4:04we need more more. I want to know where do you draw the line
- 4:11with tipping? Do you ever select no tip when it's given you as an
- 4:13option on a little iPad? Don't you just feel awful? Though? I
- 4:15just I feel so bad and I don't want to feel obligated to tip when
- 4:18I don't need to. Well, what if they're like rude to you,
- 4:21well, then you yell at them, file complaints. Tike in Amanda in

- 8:00definitely alright up this morning, this morning Fike and Amanda in the morning
- 8:05eight point one. That was good morning, guys. What are you good?
- 8:16Well? Good well? I mean, this is a unique case.
- 8:20Chris and I we've been in the friends zone for for nearly our entire life.
- 8:26Wow is yeah, if you don't mind me asking, how old are
- 8:28you now? I just turned thirty. Thirty years of friend zoning. That's
- 8:31pretty serious. Well, actually, we've been friends since, um, since
- 8:37I met his sister, and that was in the eighth grade, so since
- 8:41I was like fourteen. Wow, crushing I'm the brothers. Well, so,
- 8:46um, I've always I've always liked Chris, and after high school he
- 8:50met this girl and they ended up getting married and they're married to this day.
- 8:54So I thought, so I recently ran into his sister and she proceeds
- 9:01to tell me that Chris and I don't want to say his wife's name.
- 9:05Okay, evidently they're no longer together, like their divorce is gonna be finalized
- 9:13really soon. So right away you went, I was swooping in. This
- 9:16is my time. I was like, this is a sign. I'm like,
- 9:22I think my time. You need to take care of this before he
- 9:24hits the open market, is what you're saying now. Just to be clear,
- 9:26Tiffany, you and Chris, going way back to what he said eighth
- 9:30grade, there was never anything that you know, suggested you guys were more
- 9:33than friends. You never kissed him in high school, you never nothing,
- 9:35right, no, god, no, U. There was like a joke
- 9:39that I would that I would tease this dister about I don't think she would
- 9:45even remember it to this day. Oh my god, I love that.
- 9:48I don't even think she took me serious because back then, like there was
- 9:52quite a big eighth difference. Back then, he was he's five years older
- 9:56than me. So like back then, when you're fourteen and he's nineteen,
- 10:00that's pretty big. That's illegal. Yeah, all right, Well, now
- 10:03that everybody's of age, we can see what we can do here, Tiffany,
- 10:07Guys, we can do this all right, So we're gonna call Chris,
- 10:11We'll get him on the phone, we'll see what's going on, find
- 10:13out about that marriage, is it or is it off? And then we're
- 10:16gonna bring you on at the end. Okay, okay, So this is
- 10:18gonna be very eighth grade. We're gonna do a three way call. Yeah
- 10:22I know. Oh gosh, here we go. Hello Chris, Chris,
- 10:33good morning. It's Pike and Amanda on Big ninety eight point seven. How
- 10:37are you today? Oh? Hey, how are you? I'm fine?
- 10:41Good, good, sort of a random call, uncomfortable, nervous, laughing.
- 10:46He's like, did I wait something not exactly right? Not yet.
- 10:50Well, there is a prize that we're gonna tell you about in a second,
- 10:54a real prize, Chris. We were informed that there's somebody out there
- 10:58who has a little bit of a crush on you, if you can believe
- 11:03that, Okay, okay, So the big question is in order for us
- 11:09to proceed, Chris, are you single by chance? Yeah? Newly single?
- 11:13Yeah? Newly single? Okay? Yeah? Are you ready on the
- 11:22market for a while? So is there anybody you could think of in your
- 11:24life past present that maybe is the one who has this crush on you.
- 11:28No, No, I cannot think. We'll think back, Chris, Let's
- 11:31go back a little bit furthermore back. You got a sister. Maybe that
- 11:37sister has a friend. Ringing a bell, ringing ding ding. I there's
- 11:43like literally only one person, one of my sister's friends that I know.
- 11:46Um, and there's like, there's no way that that you would like me.
- 11:50No, okay this person? Have you been in touch with her?
- 11:54Or is this just so out of left field you wouldn't even know what to
- 11:58think. It's kind of a left field. I haven't talked with her in
- 12:01years. No, who is it? You're who's your sister's friend you're thinking
- 12:05of? Is Cassy? That's the only one that I know, Tiff Tiffany.
- 12:09Oh, tell us about Tiff. I mean, she's she's great.
- 12:13She was a little shy, but she was awesome. She's totally out of
- 12:16my league. Though she's gorgeous. There's no way that it would be her.
- 12:18Gorgeous and single and interested in you. Chris, No, are you
- 12:24serious? Yeah? She is ready to mingle. Yeah, Chris, Actually,
- 12:30guys cute. You're giddy about this? Oh my god, I'll giddy
- 12:35too. I'm about to get giddy because Chris, we got a little surprise
- 12:37for you. Let's say hello to Tiffany, who's been waiting on the phone.
- 12:41Hello, Tiffany, I think, I think I want you guys to
- 12:46please I can't. I can't do it finished for me? Oh my god,
- 12:52you're not even going to ask him out after all of this. I'm
- 12:56got Tiffany, we got you, we got you to the finish line,
- 13:01but you got to finish the RACEO. Wow, I don't Hi, Hi,
- 13:05I don't want to say, how you doing that? So long?
- 13:09How are you did? Did Ali tell you that we um that I ran
- 13:15into her at Castalize perfect? No, she did not know. Well,
- 13:18she's thinking that maybe this is destiny because she's always thought about Yeah, in
- 13:24my opinion, definitely out of my leap. But well, Chris, you
- 13:30miss a thousand percent of the shots you don't take. Oh and in this
- 13:31case, Tiffany ended up taking the shot for you. But it sounds like
- 13:35she might be interested in a little date. So Chris, you got somebody
- 13:37you maybe want to ask Tiffany while we're on the phone. I mean,
- 13:41yeah, that worst like it isn't even final yet. I don't know,
- 13:43I feel this would be my first date getting back out there, just so
- 13:48you know, to um and so I can't promise anything, but like I
- 13:52would like to get to I would like to get to know you at leap,
- 13:54So like like would you be willing goods think of it as a date.
- 14:01Just let's not think of it that way. I mean, we were
- 14:03kids. Let's think of it as they were union. It's oh my guys,
- 14:07old friends catching up. You know. I like that a lot.
- 14:11Let's do that. Absolutely, you guys, this is the best ever.
- 14:16Well, you guys want to keep us updated. Maybe you guys go grocery
- 14:20shopping at cash wise just to keep it casual. Okay, Pike in Amanda
- 14:31in the morning eight point seven. It seems like we're rilling everybody up.
- 14:35If it's not tipping, it's making some changes with the Fargo airport. Yeah,
- 14:39people are of course upset online because they are beloved Fargo Hector International Airports
- 14:43making some big improvements. They just sounds yesterday they came out with you like,
- 14:46you know, three D mock ups of what it's gonna look like,
- 14:50and it looks pretty awesome. It doesn't mean you're rolling up to d Ia.
- 14:54That's Denver International Airport. I mean that's one of those. They have
- 14:56the big horse. It's beautiful. Do we have a horr. No,
- 15:01we don't have that, But now we're going to be having fa R so
- 15:03it'll stay far on there, which is going to be perfect for all of
- 15:05your Instagram When it's like I'm going on vacation. Here I am with my
- 15:09suitcase super nobody cares. I am that girl, So I'm just saying,
- 15:15well, glad you're aware. But there's also just it seems like it's an
- 15:18outside structure that they're doing. I love flying out a Fargo hector in a
- 15:22national airport. It's fantastic. It's usually smooth saling, some people are moving
- 15:26sidewalks, They've got an escalator. It's wonderful. Right you're in and out,
- 15:30never an issue. But this new project, which is like millions of
- 15:33dollars, people are obviously upset because we just can't have nice things here and
- 15:37Fargo without people complaining on the Valley News Line Facebook page, well, I
- 15:41think one of the biggest things that people are upset about is the parking.
- 15:43So we thought that when they were going to come up with any sort of
- 15:46changes, it seems like a no brainer that perhaps you'd put a parking ramp
- 15:50up of some sort and maybe even connected to a terminal, so you wouldn't
- 15:54even have to worry about being outside in the winter, because we have a
- 15:58few months of winter. For instance, we did get a message here from
- 16:02who Ah. This one's from Keith. He says, please please make sure
- 16:06that I can't park any closer. I love the long walk in the winter,
- 16:10usually without a jacket or a light jacket, because I'm going somewhere warmer
- 16:14than these awful winters. I really enjoy the added bonus when I return.
- 16:18Not only will my car not start, I have to wipe off the snow
- 16:22and hand dig out of my vehicle. Oh no, but who remembers to
- 16:26pack a shovel? This way I can get even more exercise. It's glorious,
- 16:32very sincere from that commentary, It is true, though it never fails.
- 16:36If you go on a vacation of the winter, you come back,
- 16:37there's been four blizzards. It's forty blows er. Your car won't start.
- 16:41It doesn't never feel how if we not in Fargo at this point constructed like
- 16:45a just full underground tunnel system that would be something. But I mean again,
- 16:49it looks gorgeous. I love that they're going to do some of these
- 16:52changes. But when you're looking at the parking lot for some reason, and
- 16:56you'd brought it up earlier, the curb appeal, so it seems like there's
- 16:59more tree. He's in the parking thought, yeah, taking up parking spaces.
- 17:02And then I'm thinking in the winter, the plow is trying to get
- 17:04through there. It's already hard enough to try to do that, so now
- 17:07you're going to have trees that are going to be involved in it. It's
- 17:11a little suspicious. You think they're rehabbing the airport to sell. They're doing
- 17:14a flip, trying to sell the airport. Pike and Amanda in the morning,
- 17:18un point seven, Good morning, Pike and Amanda in the morning.
- 17:23It turned gracy. Any can't explaining to do because you call it sick.
- 17:29What was he yesterday, the day before, the day before? I know,
- 17:32but it's still lingering, like even this morning. You can't barely talk.
- 17:34No, I know, it's bad. So it wasn't like an illness,
- 17:38but it was what my allergies, Okay, allergies, but it's not
- 17:45just like most of us. This time of year, sometimes allergies get to
- 17:48us. There's a little smog and smoke in the air. This was intentional,
- 17:51I very I did it myself. Okay, what's the allur there's not
- 17:55seasonal allergies, but half season allergies. But I'm also allergic to cats,
- 17:59any cats? How did you get so sick? I was. I stayed
- 18:03the weekend at my best friend's house and she has two cats. Oh,
- 18:07okay, do you think that's a great idea? Well no, but also
- 18:12like I was maybe kind of expecting her to like maybe vacuum like the couch
- 18:18she could do if she didn't, you, well, then I had then
- 18:19I roll the red carpet. Cats were like all over where we're sleeping and
- 18:25stuff because the door wasn't shut and it was not so there wasn't that.
- 18:29You were like, I'm really allergic to cats. I'm getting stuffed up.
- 18:33Maybe I should just not stay here. Well, I didn't really have anywhere
- 18:36else to go, because I didn't drive myself there. Her mom drove.
- 18:40Oh, okay, so are you really allergic? Are you you like my
- 18:44wife Laurence. She said she's allergic to cats, but I think she just
- 18:45doesn't like cats. No, No, I'm super Really my mom, well
- 18:51she had four cats in a one bedroom apartment in North Fargo. But they
- 18:53we're putting down like one a week. It's crazy. But oh my wife,
- 18:57I think she just doesn't want to go over there. She says she's
- 19:00allergic. No, I'm definitely Oh yeah, I'm definitely all right. So
- 19:03what do we uh? Have we learned anything? Yeah, we've learned to
- 19:07not stay at places where there's cats because then your allergies are going to flare
- 19:11up, especially when it's pollen and there's pollen outside. And that's well,
- 19:15I mean, we're pretty flexible New Morning Show. Yeah, you know,
- 19:18we're we're being gentle on you. But at the same time, I can
- 19:23typically in the office and you know, work life situations, I feel like
- 19:26I need to mom you a second a text message like I can't come to
- 19:30work because I had a cat allergy. Yeah. It doesn't usually stick around,
- 19:33But we love you. I just thank you. Now. Amanda believes
- 19:37you. I still think the jury's out, but I'm just kidding. Looks
- 19:41up this Morning, Up This Morning, Pike and Amanda in the Morning One.
- 19:47It's just time for day number two of our first ever Pike and Amanda
- 19:51in the morning Memorial Day hot Dogathon. I mean just wild times, guys.
- 19:56I mean we are ready for Memorial Day weekend. Sunny seventy five today,
- 20:00gonna be mid eighties. I don't a little hot for the hot dog
- 20:03costume this week out. Amanda reluctantly has put on the hot dog costume because
- 20:07that's what we do here at the Hot Dog and tho it's kind of comfy.
- 20:11Reviews are in. They're saying, this is one of the silliest things
- 20:14people have done on radio. So what it is because a Memorial Day weekend
- 20:18is here, and you know you got to be ready for summer. So
- 20:19we want to get you in shape with a little obstacle course, four steps
- 20:23of it into Gracie went yesterday did really, really bad, really bad.
- 20:27First step you got to put on a life jacket like one of those classic
- 20:30orange vests and you can see the videos on our big ninety points of Instagram
- 20:33and Facebook. Step two, you then got to go over and put on
- 20:36some SPF thirty protect yourself. Yes. Step three, fill up a cooler
- 20:40full of ice and intern Gracie. When I got the ice, you went
- 20:42with the big bag. They only had the big bag. All right,
- 20:47you got to sixteen pounder. But I'll see what I can do here.
- 20:51I was hoping for a fiver or well. And then you make your way
- 20:52over to the final step, which is of course eating a hot dog.
- 20:56Just a ball, frank, And you have been like really touting your hot
- 21:00dog eating skills. In fact, you requested a brot. We didn't have
- 21:02it. I haven't had a brought yet those season, so I'm really excited
- 21:04about it. But I'm ready, Gracie. You were at two minutes and
- 21:07eleven. Yeah, it wasn't good, So I'm feeling good. Do you
- 21:11guys have the cameras rolling because people are gonna want to watch this? Yeah,
- 21:14actually I should get that. Probably get the camera going. You got
- 21:17the Stopwatch ready to go? I must say you are a stylish looking hot
- 21:21dog over there, you guys. If I'm gonna dress up as a hot
- 21:23dog, I didn't gonna own this costume. All right? All right?
- 21:26Are we ready into Gracie? Have the Stopwatch ready? Yeah? I'm ready.
- 21:29Amanda in our Memorial Day hot doga than who here? Three? Two,
- 21:34one go? All right, she's over, She's got the life jacket
- 21:38on. She's throwing it over. Oh, she's done that before, it's
- 21:41already on. She's on the sunscreen. Lake girl, total lake girl vibes.
- 21:45She's got the sun screen in her hand. It's a tiny little tube.
- 21:48You gotta get a bigger one. She's rubbing it all over her face.
- 21:52There you go protection. That's right, you don't mess with the sun.
- 21:55All right. She's over to the cooler, very small cooler and a
- 21:57very very large bag of ice. She's got to do that thing where you
- 22:03throw the bag on the on the ground. Oh, her husband does it,
- 22:06she says, so for you. Oh, unfortunate. She's really strong,
- 22:11ice all over the studio. We're not gonna be allowed to do this
- 22:14again. It's a disaster. Okay. Who thought the ice would be the
- 22:19hardest part? Okay? She makes her own rules. And now she's got
- 22:25a hot dog. First bite, I screw with my hot That was quite
- 22:29the bite. She's got at least four inches of that in your mum,
- 22:33wouldn't time? You're at one minute? Now? Oh you got a whole
- 22:36minute. This is really struggled. You're good. It was sort of like
- 22:40you were eating saltine crackers that sort of energy to oh, yeah, you
- 22:45gotta get your condiments on there. She's now mid hot dog smothering it and
- 22:48catch up and Mustard, just Gustard, it's a ballpark, Frank, what
- 22:53do you want making fun of me yesterday for taking a break? Moman is
- 22:59You're you're eating so slow. She's got one bite left. It looks like
- 23:03after all you said, I mean, this is pretty disappointed. Was just
- 23:06eat. You don't when you're running a race, you don't turn around and
- 23:10see. And we are almost done, chewing, chewing, chewing, done,
- 23:18done as Gracie. What was her time? One minute forty two a
- 23:21second? Whoa you did it? I think that's like thirty seconds. We
- 23:26have a new leader in the bike that's not surprising. In the morning Memorial
- 23:30datagathon. Now we have what megan ze mid days. She's got to take
- 23:33on the challenge tomorrow, yeah, James, afternoons yep. And then and
- 23:38then I don't think it's gonna be close. I gotta be. My only
- 23:44competition is James. I feel like you can probably eat a hot tug pretty
- 23:45well. I think yesterday we were talking he said I can eat it in
- 23:48one bite, maybe too. I see him just breaking it in half.
- 23:52I do too, and just see my strategy're gonna be. I'm gonna take
- 23:55it out of the bun, swallow it whole, and then chew the bun
- 23:57quick like in Amanda in the morning. Point seven. All right, So
- 24:04we have three people going around town. You may have seen my big giant
- 24:07cardboard cutout head. A lot of people have. There's actually the Zone bar.
- 24:11They had posted a bunch of pictures. I mean, you're making your
- 24:14rounds. You've been hopping. I was that Willie Nelson the other night.
- 24:17Turns out and all of this is these three people competing for third row pink
- 24:21tickets, and obviously they want them pretty bad because they've been doing some pretty
- 24:23crazy stuff. This is a new level. Though. You're telling me that
- 24:26contestant with three is just doing something wild. All right, I think she's
- 24:32on the phone. Good morning, Good morning, Sarah. You've been teasing
- 24:34us all week. You've been waiting to reveal what you've been doing with this
- 24:37big giant cardboard head cut out of mine. Is it time for you to
- 24:41lay it on us? Right on the edge of my what's the big surprise?
- 24:45Well, I just spent in the end of the pictures. Oh my
- 24:51gosh, let me see, hang on, hanging on, did you get
- 24:56a tattoo like a real tattoo? Waiting? So we did the P for
- 25:00p pike for pink, and I got the tattoo that Pink has around her
- 25:04arm. Oh my god, you're kidding. I gotta go look at this.
- 25:07Oh come over here. We're gonna postseas on Big ninety eight point seven's
- 25:11Facebook page. And is this pike getting a tattoo on his head? Yeah,
- 25:15you got the matching one for the poss Oh my gosh, Sarah,
- 25:21this is extreme. That is not a permanent tattoo. Yes, it is
- 25:25permanent. I went down to Wapson on Monday. Okay, so what exactly
- 25:30is the tattoo? Pink on her arm has one that says when it goes
- 25:33around, comes around yep, and so that's what I have. And then
- 25:37where it starts and ends in the middle of that, it says P for
- 25:40p with the second P and pink. Wow, the first is for a
- 25:44pike. Yep. Oh my god, you know what party. I can't
- 25:47tell what part of your body is this on? It's on It's on my
- 25:49arm. Oh that's pretty prime realistic, is wild? Oh my gosh,
- 25:55Sarah, So the rest of your life when anybody asks you what the tattoo
- 25:59means, what are you gonna tell them it's Pike for Pink. She's also
- 26:03hoping she's gonna say, I did this ridiculous stuff so I could see Pink
- 26:07third row and then have a great story to tell him. I right,
- 26:10well, yeah, plus I told everybody even if I didn't win, like
- 26:12at least they have a good story behind the tattoo. I am so honored.
- 26:17This is crazy. How many tattoos do you have? This number?
- 26:19Sick? And do you feel I mean wow, I hope not. But
- 26:22do you feel at some point you might regret this? Absolutely not? No,
- 26:26nope, I love the dedication you guys, Pike in the town for
- 26:30Pink. It rolls on and uh sorry Thane and Amanda. This is what
- 26:34I like to call it. Checkmate, a lot of contest laugh, yes,
- 26:40my eye, who knows they might get my face branded under their rear.
- 26:42You just never but you have definitely up to the auntie, So if
- 26:47props to you, Sarah. Wow, all right, all right, well
- 26:49thanks for checking in today's RANNI. Big night, of your point seven.
- 26:53We were just talking about one of our contestants for the Pink third Row tickets.
- 26:56Pike, the Town for Pink, literally got the tattoo, yes with
- 27:00I can't believe that crazy. It's got pinks. Okay, I get the
- 27:03pink thing, but it's got my initials on there, which was what I
- 27:07mean, like, you're pretty special, good morning. He'll regret that tattoos
- 27:11of name, you know, I was thinking that, but I don't want
- 27:15to, you know, burst her bubble gee. Well that is crazy.
- 27:18Wow, like that you really want to see Pink. My god, I've
- 27:22seen her twice and she's great, but I wouldn't go that extreme ever.
- 27:26Oh my gosh. The pink part of it is, I understand, But
- 27:30having my name on there, I mean, what are we doing? Yeah,
- 27:34that's I mean, I have two there's two men that are walking around
- 27:38farmwork that I've tattoos for me, and trust me, they regret it.
- 27:41Okay, stop it is it just your name or um? So the one
- 27:48he has, like I don't even know why he got it. He had
- 27:51my name, but it's like a hanging black rold Is And I'm like,
- 27:55well, that's kind of rude. And insoldom like, I don't know what
- 27:56that's supposed to me, but okay, you add them break up? No,
- 28:03he got it? Like during and how long were you to gather that
- 28:04guy? Oh? Like eight one? Okay, definitely tattoo territory for about
- 28:11the other one? Got two people running around with your name? What's the
- 28:15other one? And then he has a key on the inner part of his
- 28:19arm and he tries telling everybody, well his excuse now he's like, oh,
- 28:25I got that from my son. I'm like, no, you didn't.
- 28:26I know you didn't because my name's on there. So he tried getting
- 28:30my name covered up and supposed to be the key to your heart. Apparently,
- 28:36I gotta know what's your name? Ashley? Ashley? What it is
- 28:40about you? Are you? Just like it's the killer out there? So
- 28:44tattooable I have here? I have no idea, Like I don't look at
- 28:48anybody and think, man, I want to tattoo for you, Like I
- 28:52don't like anybody that much besides my daughter. Well, you're throwing some strong
- 28:56tattoo vibes out at these guys. Are you in a relationship right now?
- 29:00Um? I actually just got out of one. Okay, and that guy
- 29:03didn't have a tattoo. No, there's no tattoos. We've been on the
- 29:08phone for a minute. I'm thinking about it. I might get an ash
- 29:11tattoo. You know, that's a very common name. I mean just think,
- 29:15just think of all the Ashleys to date, there's so many of us.
- 29:18So ending, Now, what do you need to know? Carol,
- 29:25Good morning, six o'clock. Here's what you he didn't know. Fargo,
- 29:27please say that a sixteen year old boy is dead after a shooting. This
- 29:30happened late Monday, and South Fargo officers said that they when they arrived on
- 29:34the scene, they discovered a body of a team who had died from a
- 29:37gunshot wound. Now a handgun was found lying on the ground next to him.
- 29:41Police to say their initial investigation indicates multiple individuals were involved in a fight,
- 29:45and of I guess they fled the scene. Do you have any information
- 29:48police? Contact local law enforcement. And I feel like it was never going
- 29:53to happen because they kept touting it it was in other countries, but it
- 29:56happened yesterday. Netflix is back down on shared accounts, so all account users
- 30:02must be in the same household and live in the same location as the primary
- 30:06account holder. Otherwise, if you live outside, you're still able to join
- 30:08their main account for an additional seven to ninety nine a month. I have
- 30:12not seen this yet because we have one of Nick's cousins is on ours.
- 30:17Oh really, yeah, well you can probably go. Yeah, he's probably
- 30:19gonna have to get the period. How close with the cousin, really close
- 30:23with Nick? But yeah, that's sharing is caring. Remember you and I
- 30:26used to be on a phone plan together. Didn't go well, we did,
- 30:30don't you remember? There was like there was one of these phone providers
- 30:33that you could do, like a family plan, right, and it was
- 30:34you, me, Jesse, like the whole there's ten of us, your
- 30:37family. I think my family was on it. Two. Yes, I
- 30:40forgot about that. People stop paying imagine. I love that you remember everything
- 30:48because I tended to block out everything in my past. Yeah. That was
- 30:52Oh man, all right. We set a record yesterday, and this is
- 30:55a record we wanted to be set because after the winter we had what was
- 30:59it, Gracie one hundred and some odd days, forty days that we didn't
- 31:03hit forty degrees. It was insane. Yeah, that was fun to fun
- 31:07to follow along with in Florida. Yeah, it seem like you guys are
- 31:10enjoying it, all of us being miserable. But now we get to complain
- 31:12because the record from nineteen twenty eight was broke yesterday, hitting ninety three degrees
- 31:18too hot. It was just very gross yesterday. I know the extremes.
- 31:21I'm like, I don't want to be this girl. I don't want to
- 31:23be complaining because I love heat. I love the summertime. But even this
- 31:26weekend gonna be great for Memorial Day, gonna be mid eighties. Oh,
- 31:32but lake is still not that warm yet, so it's not like you can
- 31:36go frolic unless you're my kids, who have zero care in the world.
- 31:38They seemed to be invincible to temperature. Not even today, though there is
- 31:44a chance of showers and thunderstorms of sporting. Once that's out of here,
- 31:47gonna be sunny and a perfect seventy five. Hey, speaking of frolicking,
- 31:51you might want to spend more time at the airport doing frolicking stuff or don't
- 31:53even makes sense, doesn't it really doesn't. Well, what I'm trying to
- 31:56say is our beloved airport here in Fargo as made's a major upgrades. Yeah,
- 32:00they're planning to, but people of Day, as they do, they've
- 32:04taken issue with it, brought to buy part company Real Tours. Well,
- 32:15how about this. Sylvester Stallone goes full Rocky on his daughters and that's the
- 32:19headline. I'm like, on his daughter's boyfriends. I'm thinking, what is
- 32:22he doing? Is he like? The guy's like, I'm row king daughters.
- 32:25I'm like, oh, god, daughter's boyfriends rock But Sylvester Salon apparently
- 32:31writes all of their breakup texts. So they had this new reality show and
- 32:35these girls are very Kardashian style kind of liking it. Feel like I'm gonna
- 32:38have to download or I guess get the what is it Peacock app or Paramount
- 32:43app, whatever one it's on. Just yes, I'm starting to like them.
- 32:49So they sat down for an interview yesterday and they said that if you
- 32:52have a dad, I highly suggest having them write your breakup text because men,
- 32:57no, men, I'm telling you, they never get at you for
- 33:00being honest. It's true you're a guy. I mean, is that honesty
- 33:04is the best policy. There's no good way to do it. You know,
- 33:07everyone's like, oh, don't And first of all, texting breaking up.
- 33:08Isn't that a no? No? Yeah, I guess I don't know.
- 33:10I haven't been in the dating game in a lot of years, haven't
- 33:14broken up with somebody in some time. But I imagine my dad sending a
- 33:19breakup text for me. First of all, I wouldn't. It would never
- 33:21get done because he simply cannot text. He's not a text r no.
- 33:25But he can read them. You can send him text and he'll read and
- 33:28he'll call you with a response. Yeah, exactly. He's a guy that
- 33:30gets mad if you don't leave a voicemail. Oh that's awesome. Prince Arian
- 33:34Megan Marko's team made a saving yesterday for people criticizing Pike the high speed chase
- 33:38that went down last week in New York City, And I think we all
- 33:42I was one included that was like, how are you going to do a
- 33:45high speed chase in New York City? Pretty tough, gonna be real tough,
- 33:49right, It's just so annoying to me. First of all, I
- 33:51wasn't high speed. We all know it was a slow speed chase, and
- 33:54it's just so dramatic, Just like, what are you running from? They're
- 33:57saying, respectfully, considering the Duke's family history. I should be their pr
- 34:01assistant because this was exactly what I thought, and I had mentioned it about
- 34:05the Princess Diana situation. That's how she died. So I can understand their
- 34:09sense of anxiety, especially Prince Harry, and you know, maybe he's not
- 34:13used to the New York City lifestyle. In all the people either way,
- 34:17even though they're saying it's ridiculous, the NYPD also addressed the situation, and
- 34:22this is where it starts getting downplayed because they said, yes, we were
- 34:25a part of them, their security team protecting them. There were numerous photographers
- 34:29is that were that were there. Well, they were getting transported to where
- 34:32they needed to go. But when they arrived at their destination, there was
- 34:36no report of collisions, There was no arrests, there were no injuries,
- 34:39basically saying they deal with this all the time. So you said the people
- 34:43that were chasing them ahead guns, I cannot say that, No, there
- 34:47were no arrows. Well, what did they have that they were running from?
- 34:52Cameras? Oh, Watcheez by all means, and we kind of knew
- 34:58this was coming. But she's taking into her own hands. I'm pretty sure
- 35:00American Idol's been trying to push her out, and now she's considering stepping down.
- 35:05Katy Perry says that she's being portrayed as the mean judge. She believes
- 35:08that she's been repeatedly thrown under the bus by producers who feel that maybe they've
- 35:13edited the show to make her look like the nasty judge. She's really not
- 35:15the nasty girl. Well, you see it. It's like what you know,
- 35:20you said it, you said the things, and even if they did
- 35:22edit a little bit, maybe they're just making you look the way you are.
- 35:28That's true. She probably is done anyway. Right, how long she
- 35:30been on that show? Way too long. I don't know how many seasons
- 35:34they've been doing this, the three of them, Lionel Luke and Katy Perry.
- 35:37It's been a tune out for me. Ryan Seacres, I love that
- 35:40he's just going strong with it. But American Idol, come on now,
- 35:44Yeah, I'm not sure bringing back Paula Simon and Randy Dogg. I'm not
- 35:47watching. Didn't we deceive Simon the other day doing a thing? Have you
- 35:50seen what he looks like? He's on a not X factor. America's got
- 35:54talent? Oh is he really. I think that's what the judge's panel is
- 35:58for. And there's like twelve of them, but he had some surgery that.
- 36:00Yeah, his face looks like a frozen and guy, but he's still
- 36:05rock in the black T shirt. Oh yeah, fit is ever
