- 0:03It's six Eastern.
- 0:05Three o'clock Pacific from coast to coast and around the world.
- 0:09The Democratic brand right now has about the appeal with the American voter as the crackle barrel rebrand has from America Out Loud Talk Radio.
- 0:18It's time for Truth Be Told with Booker Scott.
- 0:21As we begin this hour tonight, I want to wish you happy new year.
- 0:25Here we are, New Year's Eve, 2025 is over, and we start a new year, new fresh beginnings.
- 0:31That's what it means, I guess.
- 0:33For me, I've never been one to be a partier on New Year's Eve.
- 0:37It's not my thing.
- 0:37I've been to a couple through the years.
- 0:39Maybe the biggest one I ever went to was maybe about 300,000 people on New Year's Eve.
- 0:44That's not my scene.
- 0:45That's not what I enjoy.
- 0:47I enjoy quieter time.
- 0:48And however, you are spending your New Year's Eve.
- 0:51I hope you're having a great night and you've had a great holiday season.
- 0:54I'm Booker Scott.
- 0:55Let's get into the conversation here tonight, and let's do something a little bit different.
- 0:59We did this last week, the week of Christmas, and I think now is a good time to do that as what people continue to say on the uh holiday.
- 1:07We're gonna go live into a space on X.
- 1:10This is the pulse of the people.
- 1:12It's a town hall.
- 1:14How are you feeling about things?
- 1:15What about 2025?
- 1:17What about 2026?
- 1:19Where are you frustrated?
- 1:20What are the big news stories that you are concerned about here leaving 2025, going into 2026?
- 1:28I also want to know this.
- 1:29How do you spend New Year's Eve?
- 1:31Do you make resolutions?
- 1:32I can say I don't.
- 1:34I remember when I was a kid making New Year's resolutions every year, and I think by January 3rd, I had failed.
- 1:41And I just don't want to set myself up for failure, so I stay away from them.
- 1:45But as you come up here and speak tonight, I'd love to hear if you do New Year's resolutions, how you spend your New Year's Eve.
- 1:52And by the way, what about things you do traditions on New Year's Day?
- 1:56My mother being from the South, we always had to eat black-eyed peas on New Year's Day for good luck.
- 2:02And there was something else, too.
- 2:03I don't remember what that was.
- 2:04Maybe you do.
- 2:05Maybe someone listening here in the space will know what that other thing is that I can't remember right now.
- 2:11But I don't do that anymore either.
- 2:14I don't go out to party with a bunch of people.
- 2:16I don't eat black-eyed.
- 2:17Maybe that explains a lot of things, but I pick up a lot of pennies when they're heads up.
- 2:21And by the way, there are no more pennies, so I don't know where to start this hour, but I want to introduce the producer here tonight.
- 2:27Her name is Ultra Ultra.
- 2:29We have winter in Florida, a chilly upper 20s this morning where you are in Ocala, Gainesville area.
- 2:37Are you are you okay?
- 2:38Are you gonna make it?
- 2:39You know, I had to get out the socks.
- 2:42Get out the hoodies.
- 2:43You know, my poor flip-flops.
- 2:47Now it's you know, I love it because you know, we're so blessed.
- 2:51Our winters are just spurts.
- 2:54Yeah.
- 2:54You know, and then it moves on.
- 2:56But it is kind of a pain because I got to drag the plants in and out.
- 2:59Yeah, we have we have one or two days of winter at a time, and then it's three or four weeks of nice weather again.
- 3:05And really being in Florida this time of year is great.
- 3:08You can have highs of 75.
- 3:10But I know that you uh came to me and said, hey, let's do this.
- 3:14I want to talk about Somalia and Minnesota.
- 3:17What exactly is going on?
- 3:18And I have done a show on this previously, a whole hour on it.
- 3:22We're not gonna spend the whole hour on this tonight, but let's get into the facts.
- 3:26What do we actually know?
- 3:28Because it has taken on a life of its own.
- 3:31I'm not sure why.
- 3:32I can't figure out exactly why this is dominating the news so much.
- 3:36We hear millions and billions of dollars.
- 3:39We've heard one billion in fraud, nine billion in fraud.
- 3:43Where's that coming from?
- 3:45Does anybody know?
- 3:46And I like to stick to the facts.
- 3:48What we actually know right now and what we don't know.
- 3:51Here is what we know.
- 3:53We know that 78 people have been convicted of Medicaid fraud and other different types of fraud over the last two to three years.
- 4:01This has been in the news for a long time.
- 4:03That's why I can't figure out exactly why it's popped into the news so much right now.
- 4:08But it has, so let's deal with it.
- 4:10Seventy-eight people have been convicted.
- 4:13Seventy of those are from Somalia.
- 4:15They are refugees from Somalia, if you don't remember back in the early 90s, 90, 91, there was a civil war in Somalia.
- 4:22And if you remember Black Hawk Down, that is what that was.
- 4:27And so refugees came to America.
- 4:29They're in Minneapolis, they're in Columbus, Ohio, a couple of other places concentrated in those areas.
- 4:35And that is where this fraud is taking place.
- 4:38And we hear these numbers, and let's just kind of uh understand what the truth is.
- 4:43So far, there has been 275 million dollars that has been convicted.
- 4:49That the the rest of this we don't know.
- 4:52A billion dollars, where did that come from?
- 4:54That came from the secretary of the small business association, Kelly Leffler.
- 5:00You may remember her as a senator in Georgia.
- 5:02She said that there may be as much as a billion dollars in small business loans fraud.
- 5:08There may be, she said.
- 5:10The prosecutor in Minneapolis.
- 5:12He's the one that threw out nine billion when he said it could be possibly as much as nine billion.
- 5:21Neither one of those numbers mean anything right now, and I think it's important to understand that, because that is part of why it takes a life of its own on.
- 5:30I think it's probably the tip of the iceberg.
- 5:33I think if you looked at California, New York, Illinois, these other states, it's gonna be bad if we really look at it.
- 5:40Is there gonna be accountability?
- 5:42Will Governor Tim Walls lose his job?
- 5:44He is running in 2026 for his third term.
- 5:49Is he going to win?
- 5:51Is he even gonna make it that far?
- 5:53Republicans in Minnesota, they have asked for him to set step down.
- 5:57He says I have an audit, and here's some more truth on that audit.
- 6:01He does have an independent audit, but that independent audit only covers the federal money coming directly to people in Minnesota.
- 6:11That's about 10% of the money that Minnesota gives out to people.
- 6:15It's not much money that you're dealing with when you're talking about the audit, and the audit takes on a very low percentage of things they are actually auditing.
- 6:24So I wouldn't necessarily think you're gonna get a lot from those quote independent, unquote audits that Tim Walls says they have.
- 6:33And again, I can't figure out for the life of me why this has become such a big story.
- 6:39A part of me says, Well, maybe there's just nothing else much going on right now, and there's nothing for people to post on social media.
- 6:46They need their likes, they need their reposts, they need all their clicks so that they can continue to get paid.
- 6:51Maybe that's part of it.
- 6:52I don't know.
- 6:53Maybe part of it is because we're just sick and tired of the waste, fraud, and abuse, and really no one ever being held accountable for it.
- 7:01It gets frustrating.
- 7:03But let's go to um let's go to Fox News report on removing Tim Walls.
- 7:09I mentioned that.
- 7:10Here is this from Fox News.
- 7:13Regardless, State Republicans are slamming Governor Tim Walls, saying they've been sounding the alarm over fraud in Minnesota's child care space for years.
- 7:21They say for the good of the state, Governor Walls should step aside.
- 7:25Minnesota needs accountability, a reset, and new leadership that can get us back on the right track.
- 7:31It's not just Minnesota facing accusations of money mismanagement.
- 7:34A California auditor arrest says it recently found millions in wasted dollars in state agencies.
- 7:41So they want Tim Walls to be gone, and I think you probably feel the way same way.
- 7:46Let's get into this also Fox News report on the child care, the learning center.
- 7:53I don't know if you've seen that, but the learning center, they didn't even spell learning correctly.
- 7:58They spelled it the learning center.
- 8:01Here's another report from Fox News on that child learning.
- 8:05Good morning.
- 8:05Attorney General Pambandi says they've been looking into these allegations of fraud for months, and they expect more prosecutions will be coming.
- 8:13So far, she says 98 people have been charged, 85 of whom are of Somali descent.
- 8:19DHS officials posted footage on X yesterday showing federal agents on the ground in Minneapolis investigating suspected cases of fraud in daycare and health care centers.
- 8:30It comes after an independent reporter Nick Shirley's video investigating federally funded child care centers in the Twin Cities went viral.
- 8:39Minnesota officials are pushing back, though, saying previous investigations into the locations referenced in Shirley's videos did not uncover evidence of fraud.
- 8:47One child care business that's now under the microscope is Quality Learning Center in Minneapolis, which misspelled learning on its sign.
- 8:55They say they're fixing the spelling.
- 9:12He came outside of those hours and then claimed, hey, they're closed and they're still making money.
- 9:19And it's like you don't come outside of outside outside of operational hours and then say they're using taxpayer money.
- 9:25That was completely false.
- 9:26I think it's a good point.
- 9:28It's a plausible explanation.
- 9:29I don't know if it's true.
- 9:30I think there's a lot of this that we don't know what the truth is.
- 9:34I think it's important to understand that.
- 9:36Take a step back, maybe a little bit.
- 9:53And he is talking about the very things that everybody is talking about now.
- 9:58And that again is.
- 10:00The reason why I'm struggling with understanding why this has become such a big story because it has been a story for a very long time.
- 10:08Here's Shad White, the Mississippi State Auditor.
- 10:11Department of Human Services is not monitoring its subgrantees, it's nonprofits to ensure that the dollars are reaching needy folks.
- 10:18And so what we ultimately found was that there was a reason these nonprofits weren't being monitored.
- 10:23The head of the agency did not want them monitored because he was handing large amounts of funds to the nonprofits.
- 10:28And then he and the nonprofit executives were discussing ways to spend those dollars in violation of the law and in violation of TANF regs.
- 10:37One thing about the Somalians in Minnesota, there are 80,000 of them, the population in Minnesota, 5.8 million.
- 10:45So when you spend a lot of time on social media, it seems like the Somalians have taken over in Minnesota.
- 10:52But the reality is 80,000 of 5.8 million of those 80,000, 58% are American citizens.
- 11:00So when you say I want them deported, how do you do that?
- 11:03There are only about 22,000 of them that are not American citizens.
- 11:08There's a lot to unwrap here, and I'm not sure where we're gonna start, but let's get the conversation going here in this space.
- 11:15Let's go to Love My Love My in the state of Michigan.
- 11:18I know you are cold, and let's start off by let me ask you how are you spending New Year's Eve?
- 11:24Do you party or do you keep it quiet?
- 11:26And what about New Year's resolutions?
- 11:28Are you making any of those?
- 11:29Hey Baker, happy New Year's my friends.
- 11:34Um I don't make uh New Year's resolutions because I am the perfect combination of sweet and salty.
- 11:43So you know, I'm not changing.
- 11:45I am too old.
- 11:47Um as for me, what I'm doing tonight, I am hanging out with a sassy senior citizen, one of my favorite people.
- 11:55Her name is Charlene, and I am here this evening, and eventually I will go home and I will put my jammies on and ring in the new dogs, Baron Finnegan.
- 12:07Woo-hoo.
- 12:08Hey, do you watch uh the ball drop?
- 12:10I quit doing that years ago too.
- 12:12I I try, but I'm usually asleep by 9 30, 10 o'clock to be on.
- 12:18Yeah, me too.
- 12:19I just don't be honest.
- 12:21I'm like you.
- 12:22I'm I'm just like you, Booker.
- 12:24I'm I'm an early riser, so you know, I get up at four o'clock in the morning just on my own.
- 12:30So, you know, my early bedtime is my early rise time.
- 12:35Yeah, I get it.
- 12:36So, what do you think about the Somalian and the Minnesota and the fraud and everything that's going on up there?
- 12:42What do you make of it?
- 12:43What do you think?
- 12:45Well, I think I mean, I I remember that you know, a lot of these are older stories because I like you, pay attention.
- 12:53Um, and I'm not saying people don't, it's just how do we retain everything?
- 12:59But I think it's coming back to the forefront because they are looking into these situations that are in Chicago in Detroit, in Kentucky.
- 13:12I think I think that it's just the tip of the iceberg, but that doesn't mean that they're not looking and they haven't been looking into fraud in different um states, yeah.
- 13:25Um that's that's the way I feel.
- 13:28I think it's just bringing it back to be aware so that people are talking about it.
- 13:33So when the next state drops, we're ready for it as a collective.
- 13:39Well, you know, love my I mentioned this on a show several weeks ago when all this started coming out.
- 13:45Do you think it's possible that the Republicans are looking for something to generate energy in their base for the 2026 midterm?
- 13:55Because when you look at typically what people have voted for the last, I don't know, five, six election cycles.
- 14:01It's illegal immigration, it's fixed.
- 14:04Nobody's coming into the country right now.
- 14:05We've deported two million people so far in 2025.
- 14:09So that's over.
- 14:11That doesn't get anyone excited to go vote.
- 14:14Abortion is no longer a part of it, and that has been a big single issue for a lot of voters.
- 14:20Those two things are gone.
- 14:21Now, what do the Republicans have to get people to turn out to vote in the 2026 midterm?
- 14:26Is this it?
- 14:27Is this what we're seeing?
- 14:29The waste, fraud, and abuse and holding people accountable coming into 2026, so that the people that are going to vote will want change.
- 14:39I don't know, you think that's a possibility?
- 14:42I I really do see it just the same way you do, Booker, because it certainly can't be anything that the Republicans did in DC because they've done nothing.
- 14:52It's the same old, same old, they clutch their pearls, they fire off nasty little letters, and then they hold a hearing, and nothing ever happens, so they can't run on their track record, so they might as well run on the president's.
- 15:07I don't know if you saw that's all they got.
- 15:09Yeah, it is.
- 15:10And I don't know if you saw that Jack Smith's uh doing a hearing this week.
- 15:14I guess that is a Thursday.
- 15:17I guess it would be Friday.
- 15:18It's this week sometime.
- 15:20Jack Smith is going to be doing a hearing in Congress.
- 15:24It's going to be behind closed doors.
- 15:25His attorneys have asked for it to be in public, and I found that interesting.
- 15:30I my first uh opinion out of it was no, you don't want to do that public.
- 15:34Let's keep it private, because the only thing he would do is deliver his five-minute opening that would set the narrative that he wants the mainstream media to run with, and then the rest of the questioning from the Republicans, he would take the fifth.
- 15:48He would plead the fifth because he is being investigated down in Miami.
- 15:52We have learned now that there is an investigation in Florida, South Florida dealing with Brennan Clapper, Jack Smith, and all of these people.
- 16:02And I'm going to get into that coming up after the break about what Pam Bondy said, because I believe she has again set expectations to a point that are going to leave people possibly disappointed unless they actually do a purple walk this time with Brennan and Clapper and Jack Smith.
- 16:21All of these people that weaponized the government and the Department of Justice against Donald Trump and Republicans.
- 16:28Remember, it wasn't just Donald Trump.
- 16:30There were thousands, there were hundreds that were also weaponized against.
- 16:36Absolutely.
- 16:37Yeah.
- 16:37So what do you think about that?
- 16:39Well, uh, I God, I I feel like a dork.
- 16:42I'm just sitting here going, I agree with you.
- 16:44But I I just I gotta say, I've I've been really uh closing down our border has been fantastic.
- 16:52That's why I voted for them.
- 16:54I have been disappointed, not kind of in some of the things that Trump has said, but gonna break me.
- 17:04Um I've given up on the Republican Party.
- 17:07I just I don't care anymore.
- 17:09It's been decades of pearl clutching.
- 17:12I I don't care.
- 17:13You don't mean any of it because you're just as crooked as the Democrats are, you know, and they've done that, and they they try to take a stand on something, and they bend over in a nanosecond.
- 17:29Yeah, and it's it's embarrassing.
- 17:32Um I would I would love to see any of those men that you mentioned in bright orange.
- 17:41I think it needs to happen.
- 17:44And if it doesn't happen soon, in the beginning of the year, we will lose both houses, and Trump will be impeached yet again, if not thrown in prison.
- 17:55I really see it.
- 17:56And I think there's too there's too many Republicans that are in the house bat because they don't like him because he he can't be manipulated.
- 18:06He is from the East Coast.
- 18:08If you poke him, he's gonna throat punch you.
- 18:11Yeah, you know, and they don't they don't like that.
- 18:14They are the they they see themselves as puppet masters, and you know it's really it's it's too bad, but I my concern is with the health care with the MRNAs, with you know, why isn't Fauci being held accountable for for all of the things that he created?
- 18:40And I'm sorry, I remember him during the AIDS back in the 80s.
- 18:45Yeah, I'm one of those kids.
- 18:47I was in high school when that was going on.
- 18:49So when he came on for COVID, I was like, wait a minute, that's the AIDS guy, you know, and I sit back and I think about my brother-in-law that ended up with AIDS and took his own life because he had his ass kicked.
- 19:05Sorry, didn't mean to swear.
- 19:07He got beaten up three different three different times going to work because people knew that he was gay.
- 19:15And I just had a bad pit the first time I saw him grace the TV.
- 19:22It was like, here we go.
- 19:24Yeah, yeah.
- 19:24Why was he still free?
- 19:27You know, why are there amazing things happening in the food industry, but it's not necessarily the government doing it.
- 19:41We that are now taking control of their products, and they're cutting out the big four processing plants.
- 19:49So there's a ton of good.
- 19:51I think they just got us busy thinking about you know, Minnesota, because then it kind of piggybacks.
- 20:00With Doge.
- 20:01You know, and and that it could potentially, I mean, I'm willing to do whatever I can to try to get these morons elected just because I don't want to see anything happen to Trump.
- 20:12Well, that's good to hear because it is going to be coming.
- 20:15We're coming up on a break right now.
- 20:17We are doing a space.
- 20:18It's a pulse of the people, a town hall tonight on New Year's Eve.
- 20:22So good to have you with us.
- 20:24And coming up this year, 2026.

- 26:24Now is our time, my fellow Americans.
- 26:28America Out Loud News.
- 26:30Liberty and justice for all the tonight at nine o'clock, it is after dark with Rob and Andrew before that the National Security Hour.
- 27:04And coming up here in a few minutes at 7 o'clock Eastern, the Eastern Time, that is Unleashed the Political News Hour.
- 27:11I'm Booker Scott.
- 27:12This is The Truth Be Told, New Year's Eve, and I hope you have a great New Year's Eve.
- 27:16However, you spend it.
- 27:18I'm not one to go out and party.
- 27:19I mentioned that earlier.
- 27:21I don't even watch the ball drop.
- 27:23I guess you could say I'm a pretty boring person, all in all.
- 27:26But I don't know how you spend it, but I hope you have a great, great New Year's Eve and a New Year's Day for that matter, and your holiday season comes to a great end, and we look forward to a 2026, a new year here already.
- 27:40One of my biggest disappointments last year, 2025, was that of Pam Bondy.
- 27:46As soon as I heard her name as the possibility to be the attorney general, I was really disappointed.
- 27:52And you know how I feel about it.
- 27:53I don't I don't hide from that.
- 27:56I believe it was a mistake to appoint her.
- 27:59I don't think that I've been proven wrong yet, and I know the expectations are that somebody is going to be held accountable for something.
- 28:06And we look at what's happening in Minnesota.
- 28:08She is talking about all of the fraud and abuse that it took place.
- 28:12Well, arrest somebody.
- 28:15Finally.
- 28:15Please arrest somebody.
- 28:17We want to see the same type of treatment that Roger Stone and Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro had over the last four years under the Biden administration, America Garland and Jack Smith.
- 28:28We're not getting it, and it's frustrating.
- 28:30And I think the expectations she has changed in some ways.
- 28:34She did that with the Epstein files, and I believe that it's really derailed the first year of Donald Trump's presidency.
- 28:40She goes on Fox News.
- 28:42She says she's going to release it all, and she didn't.
- 28:45And then they had to pass a law to get them to release it, and they still didn't release it.
- 28:50Nobody's happy about the Epstein files.
- 28:52And then there's this that came out, and I saw this uh, I guess it was Monday night when I I saw this, and I thought, well, here we go again.
- 29:00Is this elevating expectations to have us all disappointed again?
- 29:06Because she's talking about what is happening in Miami or South Florida.
- 29:10I'm not sure which one.
- 29:10It may be Fort Pierce, where Judge Cannon is.
- 29:14She says that it has been a total breach of the American people in what they have done.
- 29:23All of these people, John Brennan, uh Clapper.
- 29:27She went on to say that evidence laid the predicate for a conspiracy case, which means those statute of limitations that you're worried about being for five years.
- 29:39That's no longer the case.
- 29:40The crime is continuing.
- 29:43So you don't have to worry about that.
- 29:45That's one part of it.
- 29:46Bondy did not identify where prosecutors are conducting the investigation, but officials told just the news and John Solomon, a large part of that probe is being done in Florida, where President Trump's
- 30:00Home, Mar-a-Lago was rated back in 2022.
- 30:03I think that's important to get a grand jury in South Florida as opposed to the Eastern District of Virginia, uh, Southern District of New York, any of those places.
- 30:13If it can come into Florida, they can maybe actually arrest somebody and do a purpose walk.
- 30:19I know that uh John Brennan's attorney has pushed back.
- 30:22He has asked that no, we don't want it in Florida.
- 30:25We want to take it somewhere else where it would be more favorable to them.
- 30:29So there is something happening there.
- 30:32But has that again changed our expectations?
- 30:35Now, anything less than a perp walk and four or five of these people being arrested, it's gonna mean disappointment for us, even though things for the most part are going really well with Donald Trump.
- 30:46Let's go hear from Edward, my friend Edward.
- 30:49How are you?
- 30:49Hope you had a merry Christmas and are enjoying your New Year's Eve and new a new year.
- 30:54Hey Ed, how are you?
- 30:55Yes, yes.
- 30:56Well, thank you, Booker.
- 30:58And yes, I happy new year to you as well.
- 31:00And always a great space with you and Ultra uh loving it and lots of great information.
- 31:05Um yeah, I've been listening to what was going on, especially with the Minnesota thing.
- 31:11Oh my God, it seems so similar to the crime and stuff that's going on up here.
- 31:17It's uh not unlike what's going on down there, just in different sectors.
- 31:22In fact, Sean and I always joked about uh which country was gonna race to the bottom first or hit that bottom.
- 31:28Uh and it turns out to be well, us because well, Trump didn't get in, so it's us now and fighting our way back out.
- 31:35I don't even know if we can do that today.
- 31:36But hey, Ed, let me let me jump in real quick and tell everybody that you are from Canada, by the way.
- 31:42Yeah, I just wanted to uh for people listening on the radio that are hearing your references to up here and down there.
- 31:48I I just want to say that you're a Canadian and you're not happy with the way things are in Canada, but that's your reference to who was gonna be to the bottom first, and in your opinion, that's Canada.
- 31:58Yeah, definitely did.
- 31:59Yeah, we hit first, there's no doubt about that.
- 32:01We gave the good try back with that.
- 32:03Well, the freedom movement we had, but that got crushed pretty fast with the well communistic government we have today.
- 32:10Uh, yeah, America's definitely uh in front of us as far as uh being more freer, and even speech-wise, that's why uh uh I always used to get to the Negamission spaces because we can get information that we don't get up here, and we can exchange different ideas and information, you know, in that space.
- 32:28But uh, I gotta say, just to quickly go into that Pam Blondie thing there, I gotta say uh I was sold on her when I heard you know her and she went on over Matt Gates, and you know, she was gonna be this, you know, superstar, and then nothing.
- 32:41I mean, when the binder people come out, you know, the binders have thought, oh, it's all gonna come out now for sure, and then nothing, nothing ever happened.
- 32:49So I feel the frustration.
- 32:51Uh kind of keep an ear on that, you know, what's gonna happen next, and waiting for the next shoe to drop, and then nothing.
- 32:57And then this scam comes out and thinking, wow, it's so similar to what goes on up here again, just in different sectors, but yeah, I'm afraid if you're going through that state, the next state to the next date, I think it's gonna be pretty big, just the scamminess that's going on up here.
- 33:14At least you're not giving any money to Ukraine like we are still.
- 33:17Uh oh.
- 33:18Well, hopefully that comes to an end soon.
- 33:21It seems like things are moving in that direction.
- 33:23I know Donald Trump thought that he was going to be able to put an end to it pretty quickly, but hopefully it does come to an end, and we can all quit uh paying Ukraine a bunch of money.
- 33:33And again, we don't know where a lot of that money went.
- 33:36There is a lot of speculation, but we don't really know where that money went.
- 33:40Ed, how do you spend New Year's Eve?
- 33:42Do you party?
- 33:43Do you stay home?
- 33:44Do you make a New Year's resolution?
- 33:46Well, uh, no and no.
- 33:48I I used to go just, you know, either downtown uh or I mean Toronto or you know, the falls, because I don't live that far from there either.
- 33:56So but it's just changed so much over the years now.
- 33:59It's not the same as it used to be because of well, you know, yeah.
- 34:03You sound you sound like an old man when you say that.
- 34:06Oh god, it's not like it used to be.
- 34:08It's not like it used to be.
- 34:09That's what old people say.
- 34:10That's what they said when I was young.
- 34:12It's not like it used to be, they would say.
- 34:14And uh well, with the immigration we've got today, it's just changed things around so quickly.
- 34:19Uh the country's basically unrecognizable now.
- 34:22So uh, and I I'm afraid people in Minnesota could agree and know exactly what I'm talking about, because it's just not the same in that context.
- 34:30So that's what I really should say.
- 34:31But yeah, I know I'm I'm I'm gonna stay home.
- 34:34Uh, I think maybe uh join with the you know a family somewhere, but uh as far as going out, no, not doing it.
- 34:41Yeah, you're past that.
- 34:42I get it.
- 34:43What do you what do you think uh about this Islamic jihad coming to Canada and America?
- 34:51How big of a problem is it?
- 34:53Is it a real problem or is it manufactured?
- 34:56No, no, it's it's both.
- 34:57It's manufactured, the government supports that.
- 35:00Uh, I've seen groups of people, and this is all over the news where they shut down entire intersections and streets doing prayer.
- 35:07I mean, they have their own mosque to do that, and why are you doing it?
- 35:10So I know the government's allowing them to disrupt business and whatnot, and trying to put that point that uh, hey, they're you know, so important people uh with this different religion that they're trying to, you know, I guess advertise to the rest of us, but uh it's changing things too quick too fast, and it's gonna hit America too.
- 35:29I think uh this death to Canada, death to America, and death to Israel, the all three, and I don't know why.
- 35:35They've attacked the entire West between the three countries with their hatred towards us.
- 35:41But they certainly have I don't know why they want to come to our countries if they hate us so much.
- 35:46I don't understand that, but that this is where we are.
- 35:49They keep coming, they don't stop, do they?
- 35:52Uh don't tell me that.
- 35:55I I I hear you.
- 35:56Wow.
- 35:56Well, we put an end to it here in America.
- 35:59It has it is ended.
- 36:01Yeah, for the last seven months there have been zero illegal immigrants that have come in here to this country.
- 36:06So that's a good thing.
- 36:07It's something that we can be grateful for, leaving 2025, heading into 2026.
- 36:13Let's go to Lisa, Lisa from New England.
- 36:16Happy New Year.
- 36:17And I hope you had a merry Christmas.
- 36:19Tell me, do you go out and celebrate New Year's or do you stay home?
- 36:23And what about a New Year's resolution?
- 36:25Do you make a New Year's resolution?
- 36:26Hey, Booker, so good to speak with you.
- 36:29And hey, Ultra.
- 36:31Yes, Merry Christmas.
- 36:33And uh you know, looking forward to uh just well, I'm relaxing.
- 36:40Yeah.
- 36:41So uh um it's important.
- 36:43Um low key, you know, cooking the prime rib with with those with hubby and uh my two kids, and we're just you know uh celebrating at home.
- 36:56What about a resolution?
- 36:57Do you go out on a limb and do one of those?
- 37:00Oh never.
- 37:01No.
- 37:02Well, you like me when you were a kid.
- 37:04You know, when I was a kid, I would think about my New Year's resolution for weeks and weeks.
- 37:09This year I think I'm gonna do this.
- 37:11This year I think I'm gonna do this.
- 37:12And then I would never really actually do them.
- 37:15But I remember it being a big deal thinking about what I was gonna do for a new year's resolution as an adult.
- 37:20I have never even attempted it.
- 37:22I know better.
- 37:23I don't want to set myself up for failure.
- 37:27I well, you know, I'm a person who pretty much is uh uh doesn't like to change too much, you know.
- 37:34You gotta you gotta ride the wave, and you know, you gotta be somewhat adaptable, but you know, uh I just don't want to, you know, it's like you was talking before about you know those expectations, you know.
- 37:46Yeah.
- 37:48Well, what do you expect right now from the Department of Justice, Donald Trump, and this administration?
- 37:54I know you're probably frustrated, but you also have a legal background, and you also probably understand that actually to uh come up with the evidence and the proof to be beyond a reasonable doubt isn't as easy as posting something on a social media post, is it?
- 38:13Well, I mean, you're you're absolutely right about that.
- 38:16However, you know, from what we do see publicly though, there um does seem to be uh some pretty strong circumstantial evidence hanging out there.
- 38:31Uh well, but here's the thing.
- 38:33Remember, remember back when with uh uh the uh emails with Hillary Clinton?
- 38:40Sure, right?
- 38:43Now, there was really some solid stuff there, uh just out on public view.
- 38:49All right, that's correct.
- 38:51Um here's the thing.
- 38:54Um for me, uh I don't have any expectations because I'll tell you what, the system is rigged.
- 39:02Yeah, being in the belly of the beast.
- 39:04Um here's how I see it.
- 39:07You know, I actually did it today, uh posting earlier about uh Pam Bondy, because you know, everybody's saying, you know, dump Pam Bondy and whatever.
- 39:17But you know, I'm gonna say something really cringe because of the person who said it, but really relates to what difference does it make?
- 39:27Because if yet let think about it.
- 39:30It about all the AGs we've had.
- 39:34Okay.
- 39:35When have we ever seen an high odor of justice coming through the federal age's office?
- 39:43Not much.
- 39:44Um, this doesn't happen much.
- 39:47Yeah, it doesn't happen much, does it?
- 39:49We're coming up against the break.
- 39:50We're gonna take one here.

- 44:23Let's continue this conversation inside a space, a pulse of the people, a town hall.
- 44:27Let's go to Texas, Texas.
- 44:29Go ahead.
- 44:29You have the floor.
- 44:30Yes.
- 44:44And you know the big argument is that oh, there's Muslims, and you know, they're taking over.
- 44:51But in reality, what I've seen in Dallas in these other big cities is uh Indian problem uh from India, not not Native Americans.
- 45:04Yeah.
- 45:04So there's a big chunk of um Indian population moving in.
- 45:12And you know, I don't know where they even came from, you know, because all of a sudden they're just appearing everywhere.
- 45:19You know, I'm not you know, I'm not I don't I don't agree with you know everybody saying, well, we gotta deport and then um be a little bit of uh contradicting and saying, oh yeah, but we support uh the H1B, uh H1 visas, uh, which Trump has pushed, you know, uh, and so it's either you're gonna deport, you know, or you're gonna you know, have these people come in through a legal way, right?
- 45:54And and that's what's happening.
- 45:55And and I don't think they just stay whether it's supposed to stay, you know.
- 46:00I think they stay and they establish a residency and they you know maintain, they stay here, they don't go back to their countries.
- 46:08Uh and and you know, about the about the you know, for the student visas, also like it's it's a money thing, it's about the universities gain money and uh you know sadly that's what it's about, you know.
- 46:24It's about money, you know, and these foreign foreigner students are coming in, and what was in the interview he had with uh I think we're I forgot her name, but uh I think it was Fox News, and and she was saying, Well, there's not talented people here, right?
- 46:38That could take take over the jobs of you know, American jobs, and uh there's not there's no talented Americans, uh, he said.
- 46:47So, I mean I mean, it's just it seems kind of awkward to me that we're trying to deport everybody or those that are illegal, but yet we want to bring in people that are eventually gonna stay and not go back, you know.
- 47:03Uh and that's my question.
- 47:04Do you agree with that?
- 47:05Or is it Trump are in the wrong in that aspect?
- 47:09Well, let's look at what Trump actually did.
- 47:11And I'm glad you brought up the H1B visas because it was a big thing earlier in 2025.
- 47:17Everybody was making a lot of it.
- 47:19September 19th, 2025.
- 47:21Uh, President Trump, he did a presidential proclamation on restriction on entry of certain non-immigrant workers.
- 47:29It was issue restricting the issuance of H1B visas, except for those aliens whose petitions are accompanied by or supplemented by a payment of 100,000.
- 47:40So you may have missed that.
- 47:42Now they have to pay 100,000 to do that if they want that H1B.
- 47:46Also, the U.S.
- 47:47citizens' uh citizenship and immigration services guidance regarding that presidential proclamation came out on a on September 9th, 2025, when it proposed to amend its regulations governing the process by which it selects H1B registrations for unique beneficiaries for filing of H1B capped subject petitions.
- 48:10So Donald Trump has done some things with regard to H1B visas.
- 48:14I totally understand what you're talking about.
- 48:17It doesn't make a lot of sense.
- 48:18We continue to bring people in here.
- 48:20We're trying to get people out.
- 48:21What is the difference between bringing people from India to do jobs that pay $10 an hour instead of giving them to Americans that will work for $10 an hour?
- 48:31And I think maybe that's part of the problem.
- 48:34We have become too dependent on the government for a lot of people.
- 48:38We uh find it it it's easier just to stay at home and get the government benefits in a lot of these states.
- 48:44These blue states pay people well on unemployment and welfare and food benefits.
- 48:50Why would they work for $10 an hour?
- 48:53And maybe that's part of the problem.
- 48:55That's why there are people needed for those types of jobs.
- 48:58And you may say, well, uh, give them to Americans.
- 49:01Well, Americans have to be willing to do it.
- 49:03And I don't know if you have any thoughts on that.
- 49:04Go ahead.
- 49:07Yes, I agree.
- 49:09Uh I mean, in what you're saying, but I mean, it just looks bad in the in the eyes of Americans that are seeing what's going on with the uh with the supposed legal immigration yet that yet we're we're deporting all the illegals.
- 49:25And I mean, is it I guess about cheap labor?
- 49:29Maybe it's because of that, you know.
- 49:30Yeah.
- 49:31I uh don't get me wrong.
- 49:32I'm a capitalist.
- 49:33Sure.
- 49:34But I'm not as greedy as greedy that you know I need cheap labor to, you know, you know, to get rich of it, you know.
- 49:42Uh and some businesses, maybe that's what they uh, you know, that's what they're about.
- 49:48It's just um benefiting from it.
- 49:51And um, also I don't agree with the pay three thousand dollars uh uh to deport self-deport.
- 49:58Uh that's to me is.
- 50:00Waste of taxpayer money.
- 50:01Uh, because some guys, most of these countries that they're coming from get foreign aid uh yearly.
- 50:10Uh and you know, their government should be paying us to take back their uh send back their people in my eyes.
- 50:18Uh I don't know what you think about that.
- 50:20No, I think you make a good point.
- 50:22And I, you know, here's the thing you you you have deported 400,000 people this year.
- 50:28If you keep that pace going, that's 1.6 million illegal immigrants that have been deported, plus the voluntary, and I uh completely understand what you're saying.
- 50:38I don't want to pay people three thousand dollars to leave.
- 50:41However, I don't want to continue to pay them eight or ten thousand dollars a month to stay, which is what we're doing.
- 50:48So it's cheaper to just give them three thousand dollars, get out of here, and maybe you can come back, or if you don't take the three thousand, you're never coming back.
- 50:59Maybe it's cheaper in the long run to do that instead of refilling their debit cards every month, giving them cash, giving them food, clothes, and by the way, they're taking up our health care in emergency rooms, they're taking up classroom space from our children.
- 51:16All of those things are happening.
- 51:18Maybe $3,000 is a good idea.
- 51:20What do you think?
- 51:21Uh well, I mean, add that up to you know, a couple of a hundred thousand people.
- 51:26That it is gonna be it's gonna be costly either way.
- 51:30Sure, in my opinion.
- 51:31Yeah, but this is month after month after month that people are using the emergency room, that people are going to our schools, that we are refilling these debit cards and paying for their hotel rooms.
- 51:44That's month after month we're doing that.
- 51:46And instead of just one time three thousand dollars.
- 51:51But that's that's that's where the system is broken because I mean, there should be uh, you know, some kind of uh, you know, documentation of social security card or anything proving that they're citizens.
- 52:06I mean, it's you go to any other country, they're they're not gonna give you free things or free money or free whatever.
- 52:14Uh I'm um I'm uh you know, I have uh Mexican Spanish heritage.
- 52:19If I I have to I have to uh get a permit to go into Mexico.
- 52:23Yeah, I have to get uh uh authorization to travel, you know, uh in that country, even though I'm you know my heritage is that you know I don't get no freebies.
- 52:34The government doesn't give me money to go away.
- 52:39They give you a six month uh permit, you know, and if you pass it, you you it's gonna be bad, you know.
- 52:46They can come after you two, they don't give you money, oh go away.
- 52:49Here you go.
- 52:50It's it's it's just kind of crazy to me.
- 52:52No, you make great you make great, great points.
- 52:55Thank you.
- 52:55I appreciate you taking a microphone and sharing with us.
- 52:58By the way, do you make a new year's resolution?
- 53:00Oh, yes, I'm trying to do that.
- 53:02What are you doing?
- 53:04I'm trying to limit my cussing.
- 53:08It's kind of it's you can't co-terk you that, man.
- 53:11It's not trying to stop drinking cold.
- 53:12I don't know.
- 53:13I think you could.
- 53:14I think you can.
- 53:15Good luck on that new year's resolution.
- 53:18Yeah, good luck on that.
- 53:20I hope you do do it.
- 53:21I hope you can quit cussing.
- 53:23Uh all together.
- 53:24Just do it.
- 53:24Cold turkey.
- 53:25You can do it.
- 53:25Let's go down to Ultra Ultra.
- 53:28Go ahead.
- 53:28Yeah, on the immigrant, the illegal immigrant situation.
- 53:33Another thing that I do not understand is what is Gavin Newson and then doing out in California, giving the CDL license to people who are not even American citizens.
- 53:44And I've seen videos where they pull them over and they can't even speak English.
- 53:48Yeah.
- 53:48Yeah.
- 53:49It was a problem, and it still is.
- 53:52They are doing some things about it in California right now.
- 53:55Sean Duffy is withholding some money.
- 53:58I talk about it on the show Monday night.
- 53:59I'll briefly get into it.
- 54:01But 20,000 illegals with CDLs are being pulled back from California.
- 54:08The reason why is it's illegal to give someone a CDL beyond their legal stay in the country.
- 54:15If their green card ends today, then your CDL should end.
- 54:19And that's not what California was doing.
- 54:21Sean Duffy is holding 27 million dollars until California straightens that out.
- 54:26But it is a big problem, and hopefully we can get a handle on that because uh one more American family dying is one too many.
- 54:35And I just don't understand the argument that uh the left will make sometimes they'll say, well, you know, Hispanics are they commit crimes uh at a lower rate than the other.
- 54:46Well, they shouldn't be here to begin with.
- 54:48Lake and Riley should still be alive today.
- 54:51She shouldn't be dead.
- 54:53You know, that that crime should have never been committed.
- 54:56The guy should not have been here, and that's the case with every one of those.
- 54:59It should be zero percent.
- 55:01I don't care if Hispanics commit crime at a lower rate than whites or blacks, I don't care.
- 55:07They're illegal, they shouldn't be here to begin with.
- 55:10The crime should have never happened.
- 55:12And I don't understand that argument, Ultra.
- 55:14And they try it, they try it all the time.
- 55:16They tried it in four years of Biden.
- 55:19And uh, I just think it's you know ridiculous that they tried to try that.
- 55:23We're gonna try Thunder one more time.
- 55:25Thunder, go ahead.
- 55:26If you want to speak, go ahead.
- 55:27Coming to the end of this hour.
- 55:31Um my opinion is uh if you look at what happened to Europe.
- 55:37Oh the other guy uh said that people weren't getting paid to stay here.
- 55:46They were getting paid to stay here.
- 55:47And if you go to Europe, they're doing the same thing.
- 55:51I think Europe, we're just a shadow of what happened in New Europe.
- 55:57The flooding of immigrants into their countries.
- 56:00Why, I'm not really sure.
- 56:02Yeah.
- 56:03But the same thing happened here, and and if everybody remembers the Catholic church was involved too.
- 56:10Sure were.
- 56:13Yes, I'm of the belief that it was meant to weaken the West.
- 56:19And whoever's behind it is the true enemy.
- 56:22Yeah, I I don't think that you're alone in your thought process there.
- 56:27What about you?
- 56:28Are do you do a resolution?
- 56:29Do you have a resolution to do tonight on New Year's Eve?
- 56:35Nope, I guess not.
- 56:36Well, thank you for your comments.
- 56:38Thank everybody for coming in the space tonight.
- 56:40And go ahead.
- 56:41You want to come back in?
- 56:42I got a minute.
- 56:43Go ahead.
- 56:43I don't have a resolution, just another day to live.
- 56:47You're you're a smart man.
- 56:49Make the most of it, right?
- 56:50Yes, sir.
- 56:51Thank you, sir.
- 56:52Yeah, thank you.
- 56:52I appreciate you.
- 56:53Ultra, thank you so much for coming in here and helping produce this program tonight.
- 56:58Have a happy new year, Ultra.
- 57:01Whatever you do.
- 57:02Um, everyone have a great new year.

- 57:17And whatever you do, don't forget, you were told two thousand years ago that you are the salt of the earth and salt without flavor, it has no value.
- 57:25So whatever you do, keep being salty.
- 57:27Have a great night.
- 57:28There is only one truth.
- 57:30You've been listening to The Truth Be Told with Booker Scott on America Out Loud,
