- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Way well, well, good morning, just after six o'clock here
- 0:05Speaker 2: on this Monday, the second of February. We finally made
- 0:08Speaker 2: it out of January, and Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Multiple school districts in and around Nashville are still closed
- 0:15Speaker 3: today due to the winter storm and cold weather feel.
- 0:18Speaker 3: The schools closed through today are Metro Nashville, Dixon County,
- 0:22Speaker 3: Williamson and Wilson County Schools. Make sure that you have
- 0:25Speaker 3: your alerts ready for school closures and that you are
- 0:28Speaker 3: on any list that you need to be on, because honestly,
- 0:31Speaker 3: I don't know when they're going back, guys. The plan
- 0:35Speaker 3: seems to be as of right now for tomorrow. But
- 0:39Speaker 3: I know that there are some schools that have areas
- 0:42Speaker 3: that don't have power, and they're worried about their kids
- 0:46Speaker 3: that don't have power at their homes. There's a lot
- 0:49Speaker 3: going on here, so just make sure that you have
- 0:51Speaker 3: your alerts ready so you know what's going on. A
- 0:53Speaker 3: Noah com documentary is coming to Netflix. We have no
- 0:57Speaker 3: specific date just yet, but it is expected globally by
- 1:01Speaker 3: the end of this year, so we're gonna get it
- 1:04Speaker 3: this year at some point. The film is gonna document
- 1:06Speaker 3: his life after his huge success of his album Six Season.
- 1:10Speaker 3: It's going to feature performances of sold out tours, him
- 1:14Speaker 3: working on new music, also him going back to his
- 1:17Speaker 3: Vermont roots. He's from Vermont, so him going back and
- 1:20Speaker 3: dealing with family, as he quote navigates deeply personal struggles.
- 1:25Speaker 4: That's cool, the person deeply person.
- 1:28Speaker 3: I know what you're saying, but he's doing this. Yes. Absolutely.
- 1:32Speaker 3: His next album, The Great Divide, comes out April twenty fourth,
- 1:34Speaker 3: so I think we can expect it either sometime around
- 1:37Speaker 3: that or after the album, I believe. And a list
- 1:41Speaker 3: of the top ten cities with the most annoying drivers
- 1:44Speaker 3: is out In Nashville, we're not in a good spot here.
- 1:48Speaker 3: A consumer advocacy group surveyed drivers in forty of the
- 1:52Speaker 3: largest US cities and found out where the most irritating
- 1:56Speaker 3: behaviors happen most often. Here are the top five Miami, Florida,
- 2:01Speaker 3: Las Vegas, Nevada, Nashville, Tennessee, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and New Orleans, Louisiana.
- 2:08Speaker 3: So that's where the most annoying drivers are. I think
- 2:10Speaker 3: everybody who's on the road right now is probably like, oh,
- 2:13Speaker 3: it's not so bad. Give it about ten more minutes
- 2:16Speaker 3: when everybody fluffs yeah, roads and everybody gets on the
- 2:20Speaker 3: highway and you're gonna be like, Yep, this is the
- 2:22Speaker 3: most annoying place to drive right now, Love you, Nashville.
- 2:25Speaker 3: You just can't drive. I'm rick Sanchez and those are
- 2:28Speaker 3: the three things you need to know.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Yeah, top three is not great.

- 3:10Speaker 2: We are all happy to have made it out of January.
- 3:13Speaker 2: We're officially in February dry. January is behind us.
- 3:17Speaker 7: Is so happy.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Also, January just feels like it's seventy five years. It's
- 3:22Speaker 3: the longest month ever.
- 3:24Speaker 5: You're right, So I'm.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Excited that it's finally February, a new a new month,
- 3:29Speaker 3: a new hopefully time time, because January is a mess.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Josh.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Do you have anything to look forward to coming up?
- 3:36Speaker 2: Any trips or anything, vacations anything.
- 3:38Speaker 8: I just think I haven't warm up so I can
- 3:40Speaker 8: go to the beach.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Yes. I need the sunshine on my face so badly, Josh, Like,
- 3:46Speaker 3: I truly believe that the seasonal changes do bring on
- 3:50Speaker 3: like depression, like sadness, you know what I mean.
- 3:53Speaker 7: Seasonal depression is a real fan.
- 3:54Speaker 3: And I hate when it's gloomy and gross outside. I'm
- 3:58Speaker 3: like a different person. So once the sun comes back, Josh, Oh,
- 4:01Speaker 3: it's game over.
- 4:02Speaker 9: Buckle up, sunburn, you burn really bad? No, I'm ready
- 4:10Speaker 9: for one John screen.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Yeah, buddy, you need sunscreen. Don't get a sunburn.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Zach loves the sunburn though, He's like, oh, just give
- 4:19Speaker 3: me the burn. I'm like, you were as red as.
- 4:21Speaker 7: A lobster babes.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Well, Josh, it's not gonna be in summer, but we
- 4:29Speaker 3: do have tickets free. I guess it is summer June,
- 4:32Speaker 3: so yeah, summertime, June ninth. If you have no plans,
- 4:35Speaker 3: you can't go to the beach now because you're gonna
- 4:37Speaker 3: go see Charlie Pooth instead at a sad amphitheater.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Awesome, I'll be that right after it.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a nice day. That would be right the
- 4:44Speaker 3: beach and then a concert.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Why not exactly?
- 4:46Speaker 2: That's like giving you a hope right now is looking
- 4:48Speaker 2: forward to a nice outdoor show in June.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Oh, congratulations, shots hay im a lot. Okay, yeah, I think.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Who do you say is opening for Charlie Pooth at
- 4:58Speaker 4: this Show's.
- 4:59Speaker 7: Lawrence and.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Salort? Correct, Okay, I'm not familiar with them.
- 5:03Speaker 2: But Pooth and Slort together at last, Pouth and Slurt.
- 5:08Speaker 7: Some lord.
- 5:09Speaker 3: That's really not even how you say the names s
- 5:11Speaker 3: A L O R T.
- 5:13Speaker 4: The Lord Lot, yeah, so and the Lord but the
- 5:16Speaker 4: Loort perfect.
- 5:17Speaker 2: It's a great way of saying that the Lord reference
- 5:20Speaker 2: mar ticket to see Pooth and Salort tomorrow morning.
- 5:23Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 5:26Speaker 3: On Guys Zach over here has had a rough run
- 5:31Speaker 3: the last few weeks. I don't know what kind of
- 5:33Speaker 3: bad juju you got going on, but I need you
- 5:35Speaker 3: to stay away from me. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano
- 5:38Speaker 3: in the morning on one O seven five the river.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Not only did you lose your power and not have
- 5:42Speaker 3: power for about five six days, it was six days.
- 5:45Speaker 4: It was rough.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Now you got your power back. Your hyped as hell
- 5:49Speaker 3: that you got your power back, and I don't blame you.
- 5:52Speaker 3: And then this weekend something else happened to you.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:55Speaker 9: So Friday night, we were headed home from my friend's
- 5:58Speaker 9: birthday party and we were like drive down Broadway literally
- 6:01Speaker 9: going straight, and we had like the green light and
- 6:03Speaker 9: a car was trying to turn left across it oncoming
- 6:06Speaker 9: traffic and they ran the light and so we ta
- 6:09Speaker 9: bone them in the middle.
- 6:10Speaker 7: Of the intersection. So we were in a car wreck
- 6:13Speaker 7: Friday night.
- 6:14Speaker 9: Where everybody is fine, They're fine, We're fine, Like the
- 6:17Speaker 9: cars are not the cars are not great.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Which is, you know, annoying, but the best case scenario
- 6:22Speaker 3: and face yeah exactly when I tell you that.
- 6:26Speaker 7: After like as soon as it happened.
- 6:28Speaker 9: So I was in the passenger seat and my boyfriend
- 6:31Speaker 9: was driving my car. I did not get out of
- 6:33Speaker 9: the car because I just sat there and cried the
- 6:35Speaker 9: entire time. Buddy, well, yeah, everybody's got one. I'm so
- 6:41Speaker 9: over everything going wrong. And then I was like, I
- 6:45Speaker 9: worked my butt off for this car, and it's like
- 6:47Speaker 9: literally my dream car that I've wanted that I finally got.
- 6:51Speaker 9: And I was like, well, now it's ruined. And so
- 6:53Speaker 9: I just sat there and cried. I was like, now
- 6:55Speaker 9: my dream cars ruined? Like what what does.
- 6:57Speaker 7: Any of this mean? Even? Like, what's the point?
- 7:00Speaker 4: Oh wow, asking the big questions?
- 7:01Speaker 9: Yeah, literally, what's the point of it. So then I
- 7:04Speaker 9: was now I'm like, girl, I don't even care.
- 7:08Speaker 7: I don't even care.
- 7:09Speaker 3: That's what the difference of a few days is.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Though.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Also, but you don't care, you mean that you've come
- 7:15Speaker 3: to terms with the fact that like this just happens sometimes.
- 7:18Speaker 9: No, I mean I don't care about anything anymore. Nothing
- 7:21Speaker 9: means anything.
- 7:24Speaker 3: It's fun over here.
- 7:25Speaker 9: Literally, It's more, I don't care about having a nice
- 7:28Speaker 9: car anymore.
- 7:29Speaker 7: I don't care, like it's gonna get ruined either way.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Honestly, such a freeing experience. Welcome to the class.
- 7:34Speaker 7: I sound so bitter right now. I don't think so bitter.
- 7:37Speaker 3: I think you sound realistic. Yeah, I think that that's
- 7:40Speaker 3: a realistic viewpoint.
- 7:41Speaker 4: I mean, maybe a little negative that viewpoint.
- 7:43Speaker 2: You know, you still got to try to have a
- 7:44Speaker 2: positive outlook as you move through life and enjoy each day.
- 7:46Speaker 4: But what's the.
- 7:47Speaker 7: Point, Kevin, Just something's gonna go wrong.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Well that's okay, enjoy the positive.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Wrong and something you go right. It's just kind of
- 7:55Speaker 3: how life works, you know what I mean, Like every
- 7:58Speaker 3: day there's a chance or something good to happen or
- 8:00Speaker 3: the chance for something bad to happen.
- 8:02Speaker 9: I will say, the most interesting part about the entire
- 8:04Speaker 9: thing is so I called the non emergency like a
- 8:07Speaker 9: police lifer. This is crazy, It's actually insane, because I
- 8:10Speaker 9: was like, I know that the police and the ambulance
- 8:13Speaker 9: and firefighters are all overworked right now.
- 8:15Speaker 7: They have a lot.
- 8:16Speaker 9: Going on with the ice and fire like all of that.
- 8:19Speaker 9: So I called the non emergency line and they sent
- 8:21Speaker 9: me like a link that I could do everything online.
- 8:23Speaker 9: So we went home and I filled everything online.
- 8:26Speaker 7: And I have to mail this in. I have to
- 8:31Speaker 7: mail this paperwork in.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Which is actually insane that you have to print it
- 8:35Speaker 3: out and mail it. That makes no sense.
- 8:39Speaker 9: Why do you send me a link of something that
- 8:41Speaker 9: I have to mail. Can I'm not just build it
- 8:43Speaker 9: out online.
- 8:44Speaker 2: If they have an online system, you'd think you could
- 8:46Speaker 2: just submit it right there.
- 8:46Speaker 7: No no print it, mail it.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Welcome to nineteen seventy two. Like, what is going on?
- 8:52Speaker 7: It's really bizarre to me.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I mean that that one step right there probably prevents
- 8:56Speaker 2: a lot of people from ever even filing it.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Do we it?
- 8:58Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 8:59Speaker 7: That might be why they do it.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Yeah, which is crazy.
- 9:02Speaker 2: We're happy, You're okay, man, that is the most important
- 9:05Speaker 2: thing here, and.
- 9:06Speaker 4: We're all good.
- 9:06Speaker 7: We're safe.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Let's still try to hang onto a shred of positivity
- 9:09Speaker 2: because there's a lot.
- 9:10Speaker 9: Of why Kevin, what's the point while buddy, you're you're
- 9:14Speaker 9: surrounded by people that love you things.
- 9:16Speaker 3: You give him some time. He's going to be positive again.
- 9:18Speaker 3: He's allowed to be upset right now, what's the point
- 9:20Speaker 3: You're allowed to be upset? He's gonna be fine.
- 9:23Speaker 9: I have my health, Kevin, do I?
- 9:26Speaker 3: I mean? Yeah? You have two new hips.
- 9:29Speaker 7: I have two new hips.
- 9:30Speaker 9: Okay, I also have health anxiety, so I have fifteen
- 9:32Speaker 9: other diagnoses.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Made in your head.
- 9:35Speaker 4: We don't have time for all this. We're just happy,
- 9:37Speaker 4: you're okay.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Zech three things you need to know? All right?
- 9:41Speaker 2: Just after seven o'clock you're on this Monday morning, Ricky
- 9:44Speaker 2: Sanchez has those three things.
- 9:45Speaker 3: People are still without power in Middle Tennessee, and NES
- 9:49Speaker 3: has released a new way of tracking how long it'll
- 9:51Speaker 3: take for your area to get power. The latest tally
- 9:54Speaker 3: this morning shows that a NES is reporting a little
- 9:56Speaker 3: over twenty six thousand customers without power to see Electric
- 10:00Speaker 3: is down to one singular customer, Dixon Electric shows no
- 10:03Speaker 3: customers without power, and Try County Electric reports thirty three
- 10:08Speaker 3: without power. You can now check the new tracker on
- 10:11Speaker 3: the NES website to see when your areas should get
- 10:14Speaker 3: power back. Some of these areas and these zip codes
- 10:16Speaker 3: are looking at February ninth as the time that they
- 10:19Speaker 3: will finally get power, which is absolutely insane. I'm gonna
- 10:24Speaker 3: remind you to please keep checking on your neighbors who
- 10:26Speaker 3: don't have power, making sure that they're okay. And I'm
- 10:28Speaker 3: going to remind you again you need to call your
- 10:31Speaker 3: representatives to tell them the impact that the storm has
- 10:33Speaker 3: had on you and your neighbors. Because we need to
- 10:35Speaker 3: do better, We need to be better prepared for winter
- 10:37Speaker 3: weather and all sorts of crazy weather like that here
- 10:40Speaker 3: in Middle Tennessee. And the one way to kind of
- 10:42Speaker 3: get that situated is for your representatives to know the
- 10:46Speaker 3: impact that this has had on you. The idea that
- 10:48Speaker 3: February ninth is going to be when a lot of
- 10:51Speaker 3: people get power back is absolutely insane when you break
- 10:54Speaker 3: it down. And now, I know this is a weird
- 10:56Speaker 3: transition because we're going from something super serious to something
- 10:59Speaker 3: like the Grammys. But the Grammys did happen last night.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Here are some highlights for you. Kendrick Lamar led the
- 11:05Speaker 3: night with five wins, including Record of the Year for
- 11:08Speaker 3: Luther with his collaboration with Sizza. He became the most
- 11:12Speaker 3: awarded hip hop artist in Grammy history last night, which
- 11:15Speaker 3: is really amazing. Another person, another person who made history
- 11:20Speaker 3: last night, Benito the Bad Bunny. Last night, he won
- 11:24Speaker 3: Album of the Year, is the first ever fully Spanish
- 11:28Speaker 3: language winner in the category for de b Treda mos Potos.
- 11:32Speaker 3: It is a huge deal for him, massive, massive moment
- 11:37Speaker 3: for everybody.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Ricky's a huge fan. If you can't tell, I.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Love him so much. I'm Puerto Rican. Okay, I'm very
- 11:43Speaker 3: proud to be Puerto Rican. I am proud of Bad Bunny.
- 11:47Speaker 3: I'm proud of Benito. I'm proud of him for making
- 11:49Speaker 3: an album that is entirely about Puerto Rico and his
- 11:51Speaker 3: love for the culture and for the place that he
- 11:54Speaker 3: grew up in and just is so dear to him,
- 11:56Speaker 3: and I'm happy that everybody received it so well, to
- 11:59Speaker 3: the point where he just he made history Album of
- 12:02Speaker 3: the Year fully Spanish language album for that category. It's
- 12:06Speaker 3: never happened before. It's huge deal. Billy Eilish won the
- 12:09Speaker 3: award for Song of the Year for Wildflower, and Olivia
- 12:13Speaker 3: Dean earned Best New Artists, all very deserving a huge
- 12:17Speaker 3: Olivia Dean's fans here on the River and Billy Eilish fans,
- 12:20Speaker 3: so that's massive. Also, National Natives shout out to Napergetzi.
- 12:24Speaker 3: He won Best Comedy Album, so shout out to him.
- 12:27Speaker 3: And TSA's new forty five dollars fee for travelers without
- 12:31Speaker 3: real IDs is here. Okay, starting yesterday, if you don't
- 12:35Speaker 3: have a real ID or a passport or another approved ID,
- 12:38Speaker 3: you're gonna have to pay forty five dollars to get
- 12:40Speaker 3: through security. TSA is going to still let you fly,
- 12:44Speaker 3: but there's a whole nother round of a whole process
- 12:48Speaker 3: to kind of confirm that you are who you are,
- 12:50Speaker 3: and it takes an additional thirty minutes of screening. So
- 12:54Speaker 3: just be aware you're gonna be paying forty five dollars
- 12:56Speaker 3: and it's gonna take you even longer to get through
- 12:58Speaker 3: TSA if you don't have a real ID. Obviously they're
- 13:01Speaker 3: doing this to push you to get your real ID,
- 13:04Speaker 3: just to make life easier for everybody involved. And those
- 13:07Speaker 3: are the three things you need to know.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky, and tune in one week from right
- 13:11Speaker 2: now to hear Ricky continue praising Bad Bunny after he
- 13:14Speaker 2: performs at.
- 13:14Speaker 4: The Super Bowl.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Ben Double, I'm so excited, guys, I'm so excited.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Right after Miles Smith.
- 13:22Speaker 2: We are learning on this Monday morning, Zack's Facts less
- 13:25Speaker 2: than three minutes away.
- 13:26Speaker 3: On the river, Lass is in sessions Zack's Facts.
- 13:33Speaker 9: Did you guys know that smells can travel through liquid?
- 13:36Speaker 9: So if you fart in the pool, it still smells
- 13:38Speaker 9: bad Sack?
- 13:39Speaker 3: What what?
- 13:42Speaker 9: It's apparently less concentrated, but they can still travel through liquid.
- 13:46Speaker 9: I mean, so I'm just saying, please don't try and
- 13:48Speaker 9: smell underwater.
- 13:49Speaker 7: You know it's won't like it.
- 13:51Speaker 3: You're gonna drown. What are you talking about.
- 13:54Speaker 7: I'm talking about the fact that smells travel through liquid.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Don't love this fact, but yeah, I can confirm. I
- 14:00Speaker 2: field tested this and it's true.
- 14:01Speaker 7: And there's your fact of the day.
- 14:03Speaker 5: Thank you, Kevin, Ricky, Is, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I promise I love my significant other, but fill in
- 14:13Speaker 3: that blank. We want you to tell on your significant other.
- 14:16Speaker 3: We know that you love them, we know that you're
- 14:18Speaker 3: only slightly judging them with this, but we want to
- 14:20Speaker 3: know the things that make you a little bit crazy.
- 14:22Speaker 9: I love my boyfriend so much, but I hate when
- 14:24Speaker 9: he choose It drives me absolutely insane.
- 14:27Speaker 4: That's just a pet peeve of Zack's. He doesn't like
- 14:28Speaker 4: to hear chewing.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Now, living with somebody that is a loud chewer, I
- 14:32Speaker 2: can imagine we drive you nuts.
- 14:34Speaker 7: They chew yeah, quietly, one.
- 14:38Speaker 1: River, Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning.
- 14:41Speaker 2: You're asking you to fill in the blank. I love
- 14:43Speaker 2: my significant other, but we've all got things. I want
- 14:48Speaker 2: to go to the phones, but I also I want Zach.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I don't want to interrupt his flow here because he
- 14:52Speaker 2: kind of kicked this whole thing off, and then during
- 14:53Speaker 2: that song, he continued.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Zach just went on a tire on a list of
- 14:59Speaker 3: things that make you crazy about a significant other.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Go ahead, tell me, well, I'm so inspired by the
- 15:05Speaker 2: fact that he was driving your car when you guys
- 15:07Speaker 2: got in an accident this weekend.
- 15:08Speaker 7: No, this all annoyed me prior.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Okay, this was the chewing thing. You started with chewing.
- 15:12Speaker 3: You said you love him so much, but you hate
- 15:14Speaker 3: when he choose, like I.
- 15:15Speaker 9: Have to turn on the TV or the radio when
- 15:17Speaker 9: he's when we're eating dinner at the table together because
- 15:20Speaker 9: I cannot stand the sound of him chewing.
- 15:21Speaker 7: It rives me absolutely insane. Number Two, he cannot.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Park my car, Like he really can't.
- 15:28Speaker 7: I can voucher, he can't.
- 15:30Speaker 9: He's going forward backward for I'm getting whiplash. As he's
- 15:33Speaker 9: trying to park my car in the garage, I'm like,
- 15:36Speaker 9: what are you doing?
- 15:37Speaker 3: This car has all the censors and the backup. Can
- 15:40Speaker 3: you can imagine? And I can voucher the David cannot
- 15:44Speaker 3: park it?
- 15:45Speaker 7: What's so bad?
- 15:47Speaker 3: There are times that I've been like so close to me, like, David,
- 15:50Speaker 3: do you want me to do it?
- 15:51Speaker 7: Should we just get out already like, I'm done with this.
- 15:54Speaker 9: And then also whenever he's packing, so he travels a
- 15:57Speaker 9: lot for work, for like work conferences, and so whenever
- 16:00Speaker 9: he's packing, he decides apparently to do it at nine pm,
- 16:03Speaker 9: when I'm already laying in bed, and then.
- 16:05Speaker 7: He comes in and he's like, how do you feel
- 16:07Speaker 7: about the shirt with these pants?
- 16:08Speaker 9: I don't care. I literally could care less about what
- 16:12Speaker 9: you're wearing to your work conference. I'm trying to go
- 16:14Speaker 9: to sleep.
- 16:15Speaker 3: And then, speaking of sleep, you have one more thing
- 16:18Speaker 3: that drives me up?
- 16:19Speaker 4: The man so loud? Is that a good example of
- 16:23Speaker 4: how he snores? Is that what it's like?
- 16:24Speaker 7: I slept on the coups last night because he was
- 16:26Speaker 7: snoring so bad.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Zach did play me back.
- 16:30Speaker 7: I took a video of him snoring last night.
- 16:32Speaker 3: So the sounds are actually crazy that come out of
- 16:36Speaker 3: this man's mouth.
- 16:38Speaker 7: How are you alive?
- 16:40Speaker 2: Six seven three seven nine seven. If you want to
- 16:43Speaker 2: join this and fill in that bank.
- 16:45Speaker 7: I left my boyfriend.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I love my significant other, but Zach could probably keep going.
- 16:49Speaker 2: But now we'll turn it over to you. Zach, do
- 16:51Speaker 2: you before we go to break here, do you want
- 16:52Speaker 2: to say one good thing?
- 16:53Speaker 4: One thing that you love about David.
- 16:55Speaker 9: He is gratedt doing the dishes and laundry.
- 17:00Speaker 7: What that's a good thing?
- 17:02Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning.
- 17:06Speaker 3: I just want to go ahead and say that I
- 17:08Speaker 3: have no idea what's about to happen next, because Kevin
- 17:10Speaker 3: has not told me what the game of the day
- 17:12Speaker 3: is called. But we are going to play. Yeah for
- 17:14Speaker 3: tickets to see post Malone at Nissan Stadium June thirtieth,
- 17:17Speaker 3: It was just announced. It's gonna be a huge concert.
- 17:20Speaker 3: What is the game of the day?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Before I tell you the name of the game, I
- 17:23Speaker 2: want to play this little intro. Okay you ready, we
- 17:26Speaker 2: haven't now it's not really an intro.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Here we go. Just let's let's listen to.
- 17:29Speaker 6: This Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning. It's game time,
- 17:36Speaker 6: baby boo.
- 17:39Speaker 2: So we're playing a game called Ghost Malone and it's
- 17:42Speaker 2: gonna be Post Malone songs, lyrics recited by a ghost
- 17:46Speaker 2: and you have to identify the song. You have to
- 17:47Speaker 2: tell us what song is?
- 17:50Speaker 7: Kevin, I love you so much.
- 17:54Speaker 9: This is absolutely insane.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Seven th seven is the number that you're gonna have
- 18:01Speaker 3: to call after you listen to ghosts Malone. We're citing
- 18:06Speaker 3: posts Malone lyrics.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Yeah, so here we go. Here's today's audio clue. If
- 18:11Speaker 2: you know this, you call us, let's go Ghost Malone.
- 18:14Speaker 6: I know you're scared of the unknown. You don't want
- 18:17Speaker 6: to be alone. I know I always come and go,
- 18:21Speaker 6: but it's out of my control.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Boo, he says, boo at the end of all of them. Six,
- 18:26Speaker 2: one five, seven, nine, one oh seven. If you know
- 18:29Speaker 2: what song, what Post Malone song? Uh, those lyrics are
- 18:32Speaker 2: from you?
- 18:33Speaker 4: Let us know.
- 18:33Speaker 2: You win tickets the first pair of tickets to see them, because,
- 18:35Speaker 2: like Ricky said, the show is just announced.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Let's go. We're playing the game Ghost Malone.
- 18:39Speaker 5: It's the River one O seven five.
- 18:41Speaker 1: The River, Ricky, Zach and Manow in.
- 18:44Speaker 3: The morning, we're playing Kevin Mano's Game of the Day
- 18:46Speaker 3: presented by Genesis Diamonds on one oh seven five the River.
- 18:50Speaker 3: This week's game is called ghost Malone, and.
- 18:53Speaker 7: We do a heavy emphasis on Kevin Mano's Game of Day.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Yeah, he came, he came up with this. It's your
- 18:58Speaker 3: tickets to see Posts Malone and Stadium on June thirtieth.
- 19:01Speaker 3: This is just announced today. Gonna be a great show
- 19:04Speaker 3: gonna be a big show. So the idea here. Explain it, Kevin,
- 19:08Speaker 3: it's your game.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I'll play the audio clue, Heather. Let's say you're moreay
- 19:11Speaker 2: to Heather. Hi, Heather, Hi, Hi Heather, and Bowling Green
- 19:14Speaker 2: is on the line. I will play the audio clue
- 19:16Speaker 2: for you one more time. But it's Post Malone lyrics
- 19:19Speaker 2: recited by a ghost. So Ghost Malone is the game
- 19:21Speaker 2: we're playing. You heard the clue a second ago, yes,
- 19:24Speaker 2: And do you think you know it? Don't say it yet,
- 19:26Speaker 2: but do you think you know it?
- 19:27Speaker 6: I think I do.
- 19:28Speaker 2: All right, here we go today's audio clue, Ghost Malone
- 19:30Speaker 2: one more time.
- 19:32Speaker 6: I know you're scared of the unknown. You don't want
- 19:36Speaker 6: to be alone. I know I always come and go,
- 19:39Speaker 6: but it's out of my control.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Bloo ooky, gotta add the boo at the end. How
- 19:45Speaker 3: else will you know that it's a ghost unless the
- 19:47Speaker 3: boo is there?
- 19:48Speaker 2: Heather for tickets to see Post Malone when he's back
- 19:51Speaker 2: in Nashville in June.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Name that tune.
- 19:55Speaker 3: I think it's circles.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Oh it's not circles.
- 19:58Speaker 3: No hazard for you, off, I don't know, Yeah you
- 20:06Speaker 3: really thought?
- 20:07Speaker 4: Well, thanks for calling, Heather, sorry, this didn't work out.
- 20:11Speaker 5: That's okay, Thank you, guys, We love you.
- 20:15Speaker 2: We now turned to Sarah Collin from SMYRNA.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Sarah, can you name that tune?
- 20:20Speaker 5: Sunflower?
- 20:24Speaker 8: Wait?
- 20:25Speaker 9: Sarah, can you say sunflower and like your best spooky voice.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I know you're scared of thee Yeah right.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Congratulations, this is really the first pair of tickets into
- 20:45Speaker 2: this show.
- 20:45Speaker 4: The show is just announced. So congratulations. That's big.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm so excited.
- 20:49Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Yay, hang on the line. Okay, Sarah, we gotta get
- 20:51Speaker 3: your info.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Okay, thank you.
- 20:53Speaker 4: More ghosts malone all week.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Thank god.
- 20:56Speaker 4: I didn't have a game until.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Yesterday, February first, the end of dry January, and then
- 21:01Speaker 2: this one came to me.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Why alcohol for this?
- 21:05Speaker 1: Kevin?
- 21:07Speaker 2: Three things you need to know just past eight o'clock
- 21:10Speaker 2: you're on this Monday morning. Thank you for starting your
- 21:12Speaker 2: week with us. Ricky's got those three things.
- 21:14Speaker 3: We are looking at warmer weather in Middle Tennessee, finally
- 21:18Speaker 3: after the horrible winter weather that we've all been having.
- 21:21Speaker 3: We really need this. We need this win, especially since
- 21:23Speaker 3: there are so many people without power still, some who
- 21:26Speaker 3: may not get their power until the ninth of February,
- 21:28Speaker 3: so it's been a rough time this week. Though there's
- 21:31Speaker 3: gonna be several days that are going to be in
- 21:33Speaker 3: the fifties for our highs here in Nashville. As of
- 21:36Speaker 3: right now, it looks like it's going to get into
- 21:37Speaker 3: the sixties next week, so it's looking like warmer weather's
- 21:40Speaker 3: coming our way. Finally, Fingers crossed it lasts for as
- 21:43Speaker 3: long as they say it's going to last, because we
- 21:45Speaker 3: really need this win right now. One of the stars
- 21:48Speaker 3: whom we Heat a Rivalry is going to host SNL.
- 21:51Speaker 3: This is a huge deal Connor's story. He's going to
- 21:54Speaker 3: be the host February twenty eighth with a performance from
- 21:56Speaker 3: Mumford and Sons. Heat A Rivalry has been a massive hit.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Everybody's watching it. Everybody's obsessing both over him and Hudson Williams,
- 22:05Speaker 3: who plays opposite of him in the show. They kind
- 22:07Speaker 3: of like it almost seems like they've burst into fame overnight. Obviously,
- 22:11Speaker 3: we all know overnight success stories aren't real. It's not
- 22:14Speaker 3: an actual thing, even if it feels that way. Both
- 22:17Speaker 3: have obviously been working at this for quite a while,
- 22:19Speaker 3: but they have just gotten so popular. Everybody's obsessed with them.
- 22:23Speaker 3: This is going to be a huge, huge night for us.
- 22:26Speaker 3: And now they've been really focusing on new hosts lately
- 22:30Speaker 3: and I really love that for them instead of doing repeats.
- 22:32Speaker 9: Coolest part about Connor doing is he was like working
- 22:35Speaker 9: at a restaurant ten months.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Ten months ago, he was a wail working at a restaurant. Yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 3: never give up on your dreams. If you want it
- 22:43Speaker 3: bad enough, you hold on to it long enough, it's
- 22:46Speaker 3: it'll happen. Buzzballs, the alcohol brand, They have a nine
- 22:51Speaker 3: carrot pink engagement ring ready for you for Valentine's Day.
- 22:55Speaker 3: The ring is thirty five thousand dollars and it shaped
- 22:59Speaker 3: like one of their round containers. If you don't know
- 23:01Speaker 3: what buzzballs are, you've probably seen them at the liquor store.
- 23:03Speaker 3: They just look like balls and they have just a
- 23:07Speaker 3: top on it that you pull right off. The piece
- 23:10Speaker 3: has more than three hundred handset lab grown diamonds totaling
- 23:14Speaker 3: nine carrots. It's gonna be on ebays starting February third,
- 23:17Speaker 3: with an opening bit of two dollars and fourteen cents.
- 23:20Speaker 3: We'll see how high it can go. The proceeds are
- 23:22Speaker 3: going to a heart related charity. They didn't say the
- 23:24Speaker 3: specific charity, but it's going to be a charity. February
- 23:28Speaker 3: third is when you can bid on that if you
- 23:29Speaker 3: really want one, Am Sanchez, And those are the three
- 23:32Speaker 3: things you.
- 23:32Speaker 5: Need to know, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 23:35Speaker 1: On the river?
- 23:37Speaker 3: Is it acceptable to cancel plans because it's too cold outside?
- 23:41Speaker 3: It's one of seven five of the river. Obviously, we've
- 23:43Speaker 3: had a lot of cold weather here in Middle Tennessee,
- 23:46Speaker 3: and the cold weather can really just mess up your vibes.
- 23:48Speaker 3: The vibes are never right when it's cold out.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I get that.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I mean, what do you think I kind of think
- 23:55Speaker 2: that's silly that people would cancel plans because it's cold.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Sounds like I think it's fully acceptable to cancel plans
- 24:01Speaker 3: because it's cold. Why would I leave my warm couch,
- 24:05Speaker 3: snuggled in blankets and my comfortable sweatsuit to go outside
- 24:10Speaker 3: in the freezing cold to see you?
- 24:11Speaker 7: This is what we call it selfish.
- 24:13Speaker 2: I mean, it's not like you're just gonna stand on
- 24:15Speaker 2: the corner and talk like you're probably going to a
- 24:17Speaker 2: warm place.
- 24:18Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Six one seven, three seven, nine one oh seven. Please
- 24:22Speaker 2: join this conversation. Let us know if you think it's
- 24:24Speaker 2: okay acceptable.
- 24:26Speaker 4: To cancel plans simply because it's colt cold.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Outside, A little cold outside one.
- 24:35Speaker 1: River Ricky Zach in the morning, there's Bruno Mars.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I just might the name of the song. He was
- 24:40Speaker 2: great on the Grammys last night as well. It's one
- 24:42Speaker 2: O seven five Hover. We have Nate on the line
- 24:45Speaker 2: right now. He's calling from work. He works at Vandy. Uh, Nate,
- 24:48Speaker 2: do you think it's okay to cancel plans because it's
- 24:52Speaker 2: cold outside?
- 24:53Speaker 4: I do?
- 24:54Speaker 8: I do think it's okay to cancel plans?
- 24:56Speaker 3: Yes, Nates, Yes?
- 24:57Speaker 8: Tell us why? Well for me personally? Me personally, I'm
- 25:02Speaker 8: a Florida born man. I was born and raised in
- 25:05Speaker 8: South Florida, lived there for nineteen years, moved up here
- 25:07Speaker 8: in twenty twenty, and it was my first time ever
- 25:09Speaker 8: experiencing anything below sixty during the winter. And it's just
- 25:14Speaker 8: it's different. You know, you got plans to go out
- 25:16Speaker 8: and then you look at the temperature and it's forty
- 25:19Speaker 8: thirty degrees and you're like, no, I agree with you.
- 25:21Speaker 8: Why would I get up off of my warm couch
- 25:24Speaker 8: when I could very well just stay there. So selfish,
- 25:27Speaker 8: not have to deal with layers. Sometimes you gotta be selfish.
- 25:31Speaker 9: Yeah, you literally don't care about your friends. You don't
- 25:34Speaker 9: want to go see then I don't want to spend
- 25:36Speaker 9: time with them. You don't want to bond with them
- 25:38Speaker 9: because you're too cold outside. You sound like a baby.
- 25:41Speaker 8: Hey, they got to understand, they got to understand. I'm
- 25:44Speaker 8: not cut out for this sort of weather. And you
- 25:46Speaker 8: know it has a.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Better use than I do, because I'm from the North,
- 25:50Speaker 3: I'm from Jersey, and it.
- 25:51Speaker 8: Gets you're acclimated. You're acclimated.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I am totally acclimated. But I hate the cold, okay,
- 25:57Speaker 3: because it is miserable. It just hits your soul, hits
- 26:00Speaker 3: the bones in your body a different way. You guys selfish.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Brats, see, But you keep saying that. But Nate seems
- 26:08Speaker 4: very self aware. He's like, yeah, I'm a baby, I'm selfish.
- 26:10Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I can own it. I own it.
- 26:14Speaker 7: I can bless of a baby. He's still a baby.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Selfish, Nat, I appreciate it, and I'm with you, and
- 26:19Speaker 3: at least we're both self aware about the fact that
- 26:21Speaker 3: we're being selfish. But you know what, sometimes, like you said,
- 26:24Speaker 3: you gotta do something for you.
- 26:27Speaker 8: Oh I do. I have quite a lot. I have
- 26:29Speaker 8: quite a lot. You're more than welcome to come meet
- 26:31Speaker 8: him when it warms up.
- 26:33Speaker 7: That was perfect. Thank you there.
- 26:35Speaker 4: I'm sorry that jacksonly bullying you, but that was that
- 26:38Speaker 4: was great.
- 26:38Speaker 7: You're the best.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Thank you for calling Nate.
- 26:40Speaker 8: Yeah, absolutely, no problem, have a good day.
- 26:44Speaker 3: That was the perfect response.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on the.
- 26:50Speaker 3: River Grammy Award winning Olivia Dean on one oh seven
- 26:54Speaker 3: five the River every time. I just want to say
- 26:57Speaker 3: that because I'm so excited for her. She won Best
- 26:58Speaker 3: New Artists last night. It's grant I means that was
- 27:01Speaker 3: a great show. Greareat show. I loved every second of it.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Obviously a lot of really big moments that happened, a
- 27:06Speaker 3: lot of history made last night. There was also one
- 27:10Speaker 3: moment that really just hit my soul where it hurts.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Alex Warren performed at the Grammys last night, and there
- 27:17Speaker 3: was a situation going on at the very beginning of
- 27:19Speaker 3: his performance that kind of threw them off just a
- 27:22Speaker 3: little bit. He did pick it up and he got
- 27:24Speaker 3: it back together, and he sounded absolutely phenomenal.
- 27:27Speaker 9: He sounded really, really great, So He posted this video
- 27:30Speaker 9: on his Instagram and he said, this is what it
- 27:32Speaker 9: sounded like in my in ear so like whenever people
- 27:35Speaker 9: are performing, they're wearing like in ear so they can
- 27:37Speaker 9: hear the music and everything.
- 27:38Speaker 7: Yeah, and so this is what it sounded like to him.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Okay, today's daily double tap. Here we go.
- 27:50Speaker 2: So, I mean, imagine how much that would throw you
- 27:52Speaker 2: off if you're performing at the Grammys for the first
- 27:55Speaker 2: time ever. He was in the category as a you know,
- 27:57Speaker 2: new artist, and he's there on this giant stage and
- 27:59Speaker 2: this is what he hears in his in ear monitors,
- 28:02Speaker 2: and it just it threw him off, and you could
- 28:03Speaker 2: tell watching for that period of the performance. He ripped
- 28:06Speaker 2: him out and then, like Ricky said, he did kind
- 28:08Speaker 2: of recover nicely, but man.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Very professional, very professional. Absolutely, But it was you just
- 28:15Speaker 3: I noticed right away. I was like, oh, no, something's off.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Something's off. And I figured it had to be the
- 28:20Speaker 3: in ear like just not matching up, because it was
- 28:23Speaker 3: just it was off and you could tell that he
- 28:25Speaker 3: couldn't tell what was going on. But, like I said,
- 28:29Speaker 3: phenomenal job. In the end, he did so well. I
- 28:31Speaker 3: felt so bad because you could tell at the end
- 28:34Speaker 3: that it really messed with him, like it hit him
- 28:36Speaker 3: and he was he was upset about what had happened.
- 28:39Speaker 3: But I really do think he was such a professional
- 28:41Speaker 3: about it, and Alex Horren did such a great job
- 28:43Speaker 3: in the end and his voices phenomenal. Yes, congrats to
- 28:48Speaker 3: him though, for being a true professional about it and
- 28:51Speaker 3: for having the moment on stage that he had as well.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Did you guys like me, did you enjoy when you
- 28:55Speaker 2: were watching the show last night pointing out like who
- 28:57Speaker 2: has been a river on the rooftop?
- 29:01Speaker 3: Aj kept doing it. Actually He's like, oh, another river
- 29:04Speaker 3: on the rooftop artist, Oh another one, And I'm like,
- 29:06Speaker 3: yes it is. You never know the people who play
- 29:09Speaker 3: a river on the rooftop may end up being the
- 29:11Speaker 3: next Alex Warren Sabrina Carpenter. You just jelly roll and
- 29:15Speaker 3: you just never know.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I was annoying my family with that last night.
- 29:21Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
- 29:25Speaker 5: River
