SPEAKER_00: Because I've had, you know, when you have like a vegan okay, maybe you haven't, but there's like these vegan cheeses that every vegan will try to convince you, oh, it tastes the same.
• 0:29
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know.
• 0:30
  SPEAKER_00: Uh no.

• 0:51
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 0:52
  SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine being?
• 0:52
SPEAKER_00: I don't know, is William Shatner's wife still um alive.
• 0:56
SPEAKER_01: Well, there was a story about that.
• 0:57
  SPEAKER_01: I'm really surprised.
• 0:58
SPEAKER_01: They haven't done a documentary, but I think he did a very good job of, shall we say, I'm not gonna say sweeping it under the rug, but somehow this got buried years ago.
• 1:07
SPEAKER_01: And if you Google this, Google, if you Google, Google, go, if you Google this, you're gonna find something interesting out.
• 1:13
SPEAKER_01: William Shatner, one of his wives, drowned in their pool in the backyard.
• 1:17
  SPEAKER_00: Um, what?
• 1:19
  SPEAKER_00: God's my witness.
• 1:20
SPEAKER_00: Why are you just telling me this?
• 1:22
SPEAKER_00: Because I Oh, I gotta tell you the thing that Tiffany sent me in a second.
• 1:25
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, you do.
• 1:26
SPEAKER_00: Yes, William Shatner's third wife.
• 1:28
SPEAKER_00: Third wife, Noreen Kid, tragically drowned in their backyard swimming pool in on August 9th, 1999.
• 1:35
SPEAKER_00: That wasn't like that long ago.
• 1:37
  SPEAKER_00: No, no.
• 1:38
SPEAKER_00: Shatner found his 40-year-old wife motionless at the bottom of the deep end after returning home that evening.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_00: He dove into the water to pull her.
• 1:45
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, pull her out, called 911, but paramedics were unable to resuscitate her.
• 1:51
SPEAKER_00: An autopsy and toxicology report ruled the death an accident.
• 1:56
SPEAKER_01: So it might have been Spock's fault.
• 1:58
  SPEAKER_01: I'm kidding.
• 1:59
SPEAKER_00: Did they have did they have beef?
• 2:01
SPEAKER_00: Anyway, determining she legally dove or fell into the water while heavily intoxicated, misjudged the dive, and suffered a neck injury that caused her to lose consciousness.
• 2:11
SPEAKER_00: While authorities briefly investigated the standard protocol at the scene, Shatner was fully cleared of any wrongdoing.
• 2:18
SPEAKER_00: Now, what Tiffany sent me just this morning, let me pull up my Instagram because I think that's where she sent it to me.
• 2:24
SPEAKER_01: Because this I thought was Is it scary she knows you this way?
• 2:28
SPEAKER_00: Uh it says, A horror as a man buys a bargain Connecticut home, sight unseen, finds three dead bodies inside.
• 2:36
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 2:37
SPEAKER_01: Who's your first phone call?
• 2:38
SPEAKER_01: Are you calling the auctioneer going whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa or are you dialing 911?
• 2:44
SPEAKER_00: You gotta do 911 first and I'll tell you why.
• 2:46
SPEAKER_00: Because after you watch so many, you know, CSIs and docs, you realize when people don't call 911 first, then you are the one that people look at as the murderer.
• 2:56
SPEAKER_01: Well I would assume these people had been expired for a period of time and it's improvable that it was sight unseen.
• 3:02
  SPEAKER_00: Doesn't matter.
• 3:03
SPEAKER_00: They always say, Why didn't you call 911 first?
• 3:05
SPEAKER_00: That's always when people don't, that's the first thing they say.
• 3:08
  SPEAKER_00: Why didn't they?
• 3:09
SPEAKER_01: I'm thinking I just want my money back.
• 3:11
  SPEAKER_00: Well, that's true.
• 3:12
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 3:12
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, call that real estate agent.
• 3:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you get a hold of them and be like I would think so.
• 3:15
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 3:16
SPEAKER_00: I would think at that point, or do they go, that's your choice.
• 3:19
  SPEAKER_00: It was sight unseen.
• 3:20
SPEAKER_00: We didn't tell you to buy the house.
• 3:22
SPEAKER_00: But also the real estate agent, did they know?
• 3:24
  SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
• 3:24
SPEAKER_00: You know, sight unseen, somebody's gotta go in there.
• 3:28
  SPEAKER_00: That's what I was thinking.
• 3:28
SPEAKER_00: Didn't the real estate agent go in and check it out?
• 3:31
SPEAKER_00: Or the people's always the final inspection.
• 3:34
SPEAKER_01: Well, you're thinking in a traditional sale.
• 3:36
SPEAKER_01: If it's sight unseen, I'm thinking this was like a city or county auction.
• 3:40
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, people did sight unseen a ton during the pandemic.
• 3:45
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's true.
• 3:45
  SPEAKER_01: You're right.
• 3:46
SPEAKER_01: So sight unseen isn't somebody had to have known.
• 3:48
SPEAKER_00: Well, I just think, you know, I've purchased four houses now.
• 3:51
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 3:51
SPEAKER_00: There's always, and you know this, you've purchased a few in your day too.
• 3:54
SPEAKER_00: There's always the last, yeah.
• 3:57
SPEAKER_00: Right before you sign on the dotted line, there's always an inspection like the day before.
• 4:02
SPEAKER_01: And then nobody's supposed to go in after the inspection.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_00: Were the bodies in a closet that, you know, when you're like going through, you're like, yeah, yeah, everything looks good.
• 4:09
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, we're good here.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_00: Maybe the bodies were in a closet.
• 4:12
SPEAKER_01: Oh, like the towel closet across from the bathroom, which is real narrow, so they had to be stacked on top of each other.
• 4:17
SPEAKER_01: So you went to put a washcloth away and you're like, whoa!
• 4:19
SPEAKER_00: And you just, as as a real estate agent, you weren't you weren't opening all the closets.
• 4:23
SPEAKER_00: You're like, yeah, it looks good.
• 4:24
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, great, bye.
• 4:25
SPEAKER_00: All of which is gonna close my chest.
• 4:27
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
• 4:27
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 4:27
  SPEAKER_01: I mean let's let's get this done.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_00: This is a real estate agent who murdered these three people and hid the bodies in the house.
• 4:35
  SPEAKER_01: There it is.
• 4:36
  SPEAKER_01: That's it right there.
• 4:37
SPEAKER_01: That's we've just noodled through the entire crime.
• 4:40
  SPEAKER_01: Why have a podcast?
• 4:41
  SPEAKER_01: We're done.
• 4:41
  SPEAKER_01: We've got it.
