A deadly shooting erupted Sunday afternoon in El Cerrito’s Del Norte Plaza parking lot, leaving a young man dead at the scene. Witnesses say two suspects confronted the victim near his car before firing shots; they fled in a dark-colored vehicle south on S. 56th Street. Police are searching for two men—one in a black mask and North Face jacket, the other in a hat and Nike jacket—and urge anyone with info to come forward.
