- 0:21Speaker 1: I'm in the building man. We got a special guests today,
- 0:24Speaker 1: Polo down drug. I've played this bit. Yeah, ship, so
- 0:36Speaker 1: you gonna co host with us today? Okay, I help you?
- 0:39Speaker 1: Okay with that. Let's tell about the plethora of things.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I know you're a man of good worlds. Yeah, that's
- 0:44Speaker 1: pretty cool. Okay, well that ship Sam. You guys ready,
- 0:53Speaker 1: let's go Democratic Senator war knock. When Georgia the runoff,
- 1:02Speaker 1: the guy named herschel Walker, Democrats will now have a
- 1:06Speaker 1: senate Know what you know why herschel Walker lost. I'm
- 1:13Speaker 1: gonna tell you why he lost because he started talking
- 1:15Speaker 1: about those those very parts and were wolves. You know,
- 1:19Speaker 1: I'm a cooon and heard I heard couls are the
- 1:22Speaker 1: smartest animals that ever. It was the pronoun people that
- 1:30Speaker 1: was scared. I ain't gonna cat. I was really scared
- 1:32Speaker 1: because I'm over here, like damn, this ship closer than
- 1:34Speaker 1: we think. I'm a felon, so he can't vote. I can't. Yeah,
- 1:41Speaker 1: well nobody. Well, I don't know people that really get
- 1:45Speaker 1: in there like that that I sit around because everybody
- 1:48Speaker 1: kind of like called charges and stuff. So we just
- 1:51Speaker 1: be looking. But your influence is a lot bigger than
- 1:54Speaker 1: the people that are just around you and your group circle.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Your voice isn't necessary someone we need. You did go
- 2:00Speaker 1: out and perform for some stuff, you know what I mean,
- 2:04Speaker 1: for Stacy one time and then um yeah, but like
- 2:08Speaker 1: my my close two people. Everybody that's okay, it's okay.
- 2:12Speaker 1: It's the two million on social media that we're talking about,
- 2:14Speaker 1: you know, yea, yeah, alright, Brittany Grinder is home. Come
- 2:22Speaker 1: yeah now now, I don't know, there's a lot of
- 2:27Speaker 1: people that are kind of upset about it. A prisoner
- 2:31Speaker 1: swap with Russian arms dealer Victor Bolt. They gave the
- 2:36Speaker 1: Merchant of death, you know, one of one for one
- 2:39Speaker 1: trade for Grinder. Now. Joe Biden tweeted, she's safe, she's
- 2:43Speaker 1: on the plane, she's on the way home. He also
- 2:44Speaker 1: look on TV couldn't wait to tweet. He looked like
- 2:48Speaker 1: he always need a nap. I don't know what's going
- 2:50Speaker 1: on at President. I could definitely tell he needs some energy.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Bars and he's eight years old. I think he older
- 2:56Speaker 1: than that. No, I tell you what they traded Britain
- 3:00Speaker 1: grounding for the wolfing the vampire. So I were talking
- 3:04Speaker 1: about that was that was a very interesting trade. He
- 3:09Speaker 1: definitely killed, gave the merchant of death. He would kill somebody.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Now we aren't talking about no little you know, a
- 3:17Speaker 1: little glot, little guy. What's that man name? Again? He
- 3:21Speaker 1: sounds like he to kill somebody. Facts will do. Okay.
- 3:28Speaker 1: So a lot of people feel like it wasn't a
- 3:29Speaker 1: fair trade. They're like, okay, it wasn't a fair trade.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It was all for the US. But it was a
- 3:34Speaker 1: w for you know, a black person for Vember. What
- 3:37Speaker 1: do you think it was a tipping point though, Like
- 3:39Speaker 1: what finally made him be like all right, we're gonna
- 3:41Speaker 1: give you all the merchant of death? And because yeah,
- 3:46Speaker 1: this was a media disaster slash nightmare. This was coverage
- 3:50Speaker 1: everywhere and then you know, keep in mind, uh, she's
- 3:53Speaker 1: a w NBA player that needed to play. A lot
- 3:56Speaker 1: of w NBA players play in America and overseas because
- 3:59Speaker 1: they don't make enough money in America on the w
- 4:01Speaker 1: n B A. So my question is who's gonna go
- 4:04Speaker 1: play for Russia facts. I almost felt like if she
- 4:16Speaker 1: was not sent over to like the prison camp and
- 4:20Speaker 1: she was just in like regular Russian jail or prison,
- 4:23Speaker 1: I almost feel like she would still be there. When
- 4:25Speaker 1: they started talking about all the homophobic things against her,
- 4:28Speaker 1: all the racist things against her, that's when I think
- 4:31Speaker 1: the US was like, we can't stand for this anytime,
- 4:35Speaker 1: my opinion, anytime you throw in you know, the LGBTQ community,
- 4:39Speaker 1: things seemed to be taken a little more seriously. Now
- 4:42Speaker 1: we already know that racism exists all over the world,
- 4:45Speaker 1: but I think when it got to that point, they
- 4:46Speaker 1: was like, all right, hold on, we're gonna have to
- 4:48Speaker 1: get to sit out, because that's just not a fair trade.
- 4:50Speaker 1: That man is back over there selling a ks right now,
- 4:53Speaker 1: probably stuff over there. And you guys know that Nike
- 4:58Speaker 1: dropped Kyrie Irvan. He covers the Nike shoe logo with
- 5:01Speaker 1: I Am Free, covering the swoosh logo and itching I
- 5:05Speaker 1: am free, Thank you God, I Am on a patch
- 5:08Speaker 1: of take after his break up with the Sneaker Giant.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Anybody got any thoughts of concerns about Kyrie, probably why
- 5:15Speaker 1: why are you doing that? I Am free? He was
- 5:17Speaker 1: making eleven million dollars. What are you free from a
- 5:20Speaker 1: year with Nike? What are you free from? What do
- 5:25Speaker 1: you free just because you get paid millions of the
- 5:28Speaker 1: go ahead n be heard? I guess they'd be sense
- 5:32Speaker 1: from him? You want to be black? Is he want
- 5:36Speaker 1: to be? You know what I mean? It's not always
- 5:39Speaker 1: about the check. Now, Sometimes you get you get tired
- 5:45Speaker 1: of being told to shut up and dribble. At some
- 5:47Speaker 1: point you want to be a human with a voice,
- 5:49Speaker 1: no matter what you do. That man is tired of
- 5:51Speaker 1: hearing shut up and dribble. Well, I think it's after
- 5:55Speaker 1: the fact when you make the money. When you make
- 5:56Speaker 1: the money, then then then you want to be free.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Everybody wants to be free after they have made all
- 6:01Speaker 1: the money. Now, why can't you want saying all this stuff?
- 6:05Speaker 1: Ten years ago he had that money, yet he got
- 6:08Speaker 1: the money now. I think Kenya always been saying the
- 6:11Speaker 1: same thing. It's just an increment. And if we put
- 6:13Speaker 1: it all together all together about what he's been saying,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it'll all come together. You know, he just got a
- 6:19Speaker 1: little spets. He does a bad at the setup. He
- 6:24Speaker 1: just kind of messed up. But he actulates himself in
- 6:26Speaker 1: it comes together. So I'm coming together lots money. It's
- 6:32Speaker 1: time for love versus money. It loves. In the minute
- 6:37Speaker 1: I met you, baby, I knew I wanted to manage
- 6:40Speaker 1: the love of money. Money. It's love versus money. They
- 6:45Speaker 1: said you can't put a price tag on love. I
- 6:47Speaker 1: love on the ball or Alert show come up. We
- 6:54Speaker 1: got every rosy together. That you're dating a boss, that
- 7:00Speaker 1: this boss that you've seen that's fine? Is that really
- 7:03Speaker 1: what kind of attracted you to him? To say, no,
- 7:05Speaker 1: that's the guy for me? Yeah, it's I think it's
- 7:08Speaker 1: the boss in him. I just think he's like, you know,
- 7:11Speaker 1: I like guys who lead, So when you're a leader,
- 7:14Speaker 1: you can step to me, you know. But again, when
- 7:17Speaker 1: it comes down to Ross, like Ross's type a person
- 7:19Speaker 1: who you look at and you just admire, you're inspired by,
- 7:23Speaker 1: Like I want to do what you're doing, will teach me.
- 7:25Speaker 1: So in the back end, I'm actually a student of
- 7:27Speaker 1: the game as well. So I mean, yeah, if you
- 7:31Speaker 1: want to say that, that's just what it is. It's official. Well,
- 7:34Speaker 1: Ross is in it for the love. I'm I'm assuming
- 7:38Speaker 1: and pretty V will be in it for says she's
- 7:46Speaker 1: a girl. If I'm not mistaken. I feel like I
- 7:48Speaker 1: had been seeing her literally has been putting her in
- 7:51Speaker 1: position series because you know, Ross is a romantic and
- 7:54Speaker 1: I think it's the first time has a way with women.
- 7:56Speaker 1: You know, it's pretty. I think Ross really likes her.
- 7:59Speaker 1: He does this is cool. I think he's I think
- 8:08Speaker 1: he styled you know, girl, man, it looks like he
- 8:12Speaker 1: can old baby. You know, I just love you guys
- 8:18Speaker 1: playing apples, you know what I'm saying, come to the
- 8:21Speaker 1: mansion all together. Man. I think Pretty V is smart enough,
- 8:24Speaker 1: and I'm gonna kicking to y'all to get y'all, but
- 8:26Speaker 1: I think she's smart enough to know that this could
- 8:28Speaker 1: potentially be loved. But right now, this is a good business.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Ship busness ship, business ship. I agree with ship. I'm
- 8:38Speaker 1: agree with you Ferrari. I don't agree. I think that
- 8:41Speaker 1: they are genuinely interested in each other, because so you
- 8:43Speaker 1: think both of them are there for the love. Yeah,
- 8:46Speaker 1: for the interest. You don't hear that they just got
- 8:48Speaker 1: together all right? Bullshit? Let me just say this. I
- 8:56Speaker 1: really thought, I really thought Pretty he would. No, they're
- 9:00Speaker 1: not a thing. We we had confirmed and he confirmed
- 9:08Speaker 1: one a thing. Okay, So I think they are genuinely
- 9:10Speaker 1: interested in each other. I think there are tons of
- 9:13Speaker 1: people that pretty v could get with if it was
- 9:15Speaker 1: just a business situation, Like I don't think it would
- 9:18Speaker 1: have to be Rick Ross. Like. I think they answered
- 9:20Speaker 1: each other like that's that stuff, you know. I pictured
- 9:31Speaker 1: Rick Ross with like a say what it is? Woman?
- 9:37Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, larger woman, you're like like
- 9:42Speaker 1: a blood wise and horse type woman like that boy said.
- 9:46Speaker 1: But woman, you know, y'all just not saying that. Y'all
- 9:53Speaker 1: think you O. I really think that they both like
- 10:01Speaker 1: each other. However, I think that attractive to him too.
- 10:08Speaker 1: But I don't know, man, you know what, I don't know.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I think they're attract each other. I didn't say that.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I just said, pretty, you gotta come on the show.
- 10:22Speaker 1: We did it during the pandemic. You gott we're gonna
- 10:24Speaker 1: have We're gonna ask her. We're gonna freaking ask her.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Let's ask her. Alright, cool, Let's take a quick commercial break.

- 10:42Speaker 1: The Baller Alert Show podcast available everywhere you get your
- 10:44Speaker 1: podcasts our guest host is in the building, Young drill
- 10:47Speaker 1: has it launt her pretty good? How you doing? I
- 10:49Speaker 1: appreciate you pulling up on this man. And I was
- 10:51Speaker 1: right down the street and you was on time? Yeah, man,
- 10:54Speaker 1: I was on. How is drow these days? I'm pretty good? Man?
- 11:03Speaker 1: Sober life is pretty good. I like that you start.
- 11:07Speaker 1: You opened it up with that because you know he's
- 11:08Speaker 1: gonna get there in there. For definitely said that she
- 11:11Speaker 1: was gonna be on time. Because you said I said
- 11:14Speaker 1: Brow was sober. Now he's gonna be on time. I
- 11:16Speaker 1: was like, no, I'm about to get some food. You know,
- 11:18Speaker 1: rappers be later outside? Really is on time? All right?
- 11:25Speaker 1: What are you sober from? We know what we'd um
- 11:30Speaker 1: well when Molly was out X pills, egs, we liquor cigarettes? Um,
- 11:44Speaker 1: what am I leaving out at a roll? Perko said.
- 11:49Speaker 1: And you would do these things all together sometimes too, right, Yes,
- 11:52Speaker 1: damn yeah. It was a combination, you know what I mean.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Whatever day I was feeling like, you know what suited
- 12:00Speaker 1: the day of the moment, you know what I mean,
- 12:02Speaker 1: I would actually indulge, and um that was just so
- 12:06Speaker 1: I would not not all of them like these, I
- 12:09Speaker 1: kind of like was trading vices, like you know, when
- 12:13Speaker 1: Molly was out, that was advice for me. Then like
- 12:17Speaker 1: I'll take zenage to sleep, you know what I mean.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Then when they started playing around with the Molly too
- 12:22Speaker 1: much and it started like changing color, had tan, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 1: they had tan, then they had pink and they had blue.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, she looked like fruity peers. I'm good.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So then we switched to you know, perks, you know
- 12:34Speaker 1: what I mean. Then we switched to adderall you see
- 12:38Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But and so so when Molly was done,
- 12:42Speaker 1: because niggas really started doing ice and ship if I
- 12:45Speaker 1: was like, I don't really really funk with meth and
- 12:46Speaker 1: ship like that, so you know what I mean. So
- 12:48Speaker 1: it was it was almost like I was rolling with
- 12:52Speaker 1: the times on what was new and popular with drugs,
- 12:56Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And we used to put
- 12:57Speaker 1: Molly in lean you know what I mean, on sprinkling
- 13:01Speaker 1: on in the lean cup and like in the different
- 13:04Speaker 1: cocktails of it. How did it affect your performance your
- 13:07Speaker 1: personal life? It did my performance pretty good. Um, Like
- 13:13Speaker 1: it sounds crazy, but like I could put the mike
- 13:17Speaker 1: in my hand, you wouldn't know I was on anything,
- 13:20Speaker 1: but after the show, I wouldn't want to, like I
- 13:23Speaker 1: wouldn't do interviews, or I wouldn't make it to interviews,
- 13:26Speaker 1: or I'll be late or or like. And my social
- 13:31Speaker 1: life was kind of if I'm high, you could probably
- 13:36Speaker 1: be like d didn't get drove a tripping lat night,
- 13:38Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. As opposed to me being
- 13:41Speaker 1: cool and calm, I probably in the beginning of it,
- 13:45Speaker 1: like in the beginning of it, when I'm waiting for
- 13:46Speaker 1: it to kick in, but by the time to kick in,
- 13:49Speaker 1: it's I'm all over the place. So it was it
- 13:51Speaker 1: was kind of like ending out. But the majority of
- 13:54Speaker 1: the important things I would miss. Do you feel like
- 13:56Speaker 1: your career would be a lot further if you were sober,
- 14:00Speaker 1: then like maybe you're in a room full of people
- 14:02Speaker 1: that you should have been talking to, should have been
- 14:04Speaker 1: building a relationship with, and that was your one time
- 14:07Speaker 1: in the room, but you were so high that you
- 14:09Speaker 1: couldn't make that connection any of times. Yeah, Like I,
- 14:13Speaker 1: like I said, it's just would count it. When it
- 14:16Speaker 1: count counting, I would be the most high. But and
- 14:20Speaker 1: then like it wasn't that I would do it on purpose.
- 14:23Speaker 1: It was my habit just showing up, you know what
- 14:26Speaker 1: I mean. I would want to get HT so bad
- 14:27Speaker 1: this day, you know, or I'll already be high, or
- 14:31Speaker 1: I'll be not had like a week long high time,
- 14:35Speaker 1: and by the time the money get there, I need
- 14:38Speaker 1: that to sleep, so I Can't'm not available, you know
- 14:41Speaker 1: what I mean. So it showed up in different ways,
- 14:43Speaker 1: and I think that that's what I really like go
- 14:47Speaker 1: around and talk about like it's always the drug. You
- 14:53Speaker 1: think you've got control over it until it shows up,
- 14:56Speaker 1: and it's just in that one day, don't seem that
- 14:58Speaker 1: bad until the year goo is by in its thirty
- 15:01Speaker 1: of those days. This sounds very expensive as well, because
- 15:07Speaker 1: because you're making money, you're young droe obviously, and how
- 15:10Speaker 1: much of how much like was your income dedicated to
- 15:15Speaker 1: purchasing a month I always spend on drugs with I
- 15:18Speaker 1: would say like between day, damn what that's somebody mortgage
- 15:27Speaker 1: between five and I'm not actually and taking that. This
- 15:32Speaker 1: is what it is what it takes to, you know,
- 15:34Speaker 1: all the girls, all the guys, you know, because it's
- 15:38Speaker 1: free around me just digging the bag and I think
- 15:40Speaker 1: I'm I'm trying to I'm looking for people to love
- 15:44Speaker 1: on me. I'm looking for validation. I'm looking for girls
- 15:47Speaker 1: to be okay, you know what I mean. I don't
- 15:50Speaker 1: want anybody to leave at this point, like you know
- 15:52Speaker 1: what I mean, I want I want you to come
- 15:54Speaker 1: into my world. So I'm kind of like buying you.
- 15:56Speaker 1: You know what I mean. I'm selling this image and
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm and I'm wrapping about it in my lyrics and
- 16:01Speaker 1: people seeing me and are you high right now? I'm like, yeah,
- 16:04Speaker 1: you know what I mean. What you got my purse
- 16:06Speaker 1: on me? I got this on me. I got that
- 16:07Speaker 1: on me, you know what I'm saying. So it's almost
- 16:09Speaker 1: like I was lonely trying to, you know, see what
- 16:14Speaker 1: everybody was doing that day, and I want everybody to
- 16:16Speaker 1: come on my house. And you know when you get there,
- 16:19Speaker 1: ship perse on the table, weed on the table, alcohol
- 16:22Speaker 1: right there. You know what I mean? This over here
- 16:25Speaker 1: and that over that, you know what I mean? So
- 16:28Speaker 1: music of music? What made you decide to stop? Um?
- 16:37Speaker 1: I guess the repeat? It was always something in me.
- 16:40Speaker 1: You know. I used to sit around because I used
- 16:43Speaker 1: to be really really on drugs, really bad in the beginning,
- 16:48Speaker 1: and we used to be out in the streets and
- 16:50Speaker 1: I used to tell people, you know, they I used
- 16:51Speaker 1: to always grab the notebook and just be writing and
- 16:55Speaker 1: you can come into like I used to sit and
- 16:58Speaker 1: um hot Ti Ridge off of off Mall of the King.
- 17:02Speaker 1: They called it the nine over. There was savage and
- 17:04Speaker 1: me used to be so I used to sit out
- 17:05Speaker 1: there and right before the best thing smoking came out
- 17:08Speaker 1: and you can just walk in the room and you
- 17:10Speaker 1: just see me in that right now. And I was
- 17:11Speaker 1: on drawers really really bad and what And I always
- 17:15Speaker 1: told him, I was like, well, I ain't gonna be
- 17:17Speaker 1: doing this. Ship would be too long, you know. They
- 17:18Speaker 1: were like cray, like, well, you know what I'm saying.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I got some stuff. I you know, I'm really just
- 17:23Speaker 1: trying to get this music stuff done. And you know
- 17:25Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I know we didn't here getting high,
- 17:26Speaker 1: and you know what I'm saying, but I ain't gonna
- 17:28Speaker 1: be here for this. Is so it was always in
- 17:30Speaker 1: me too, you know, one day, but it just never
- 17:33Speaker 1: it just was a grip on me so tight. When
- 17:36Speaker 1: I felt like I had control, it was like, well
- 17:38Speaker 1: the drug was like, well no, this is actually serious
- 17:41Speaker 1: to what you think. You cannot quit and when you say,
- 17:45Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Okay, you can stop for
- 17:47Speaker 1: a week or two, but you'll be back, you know
- 17:49Speaker 1: what I mean. And I used to be like and
- 17:52Speaker 1: I prayed a lot, you know what I'm saying. I
- 17:54Speaker 1: knew it was fucked up, but it was just the
- 17:57Speaker 1: way it had my stomach feeling. I got pull up
- 18:00Speaker 1: out a spot and my stomach could get weak because
- 18:03Speaker 1: I was like this ship called me like that, you know,
- 18:05Speaker 1: And I was and I used to be like this,
- 18:07Speaker 1: she ain't even got no eyes, no mouth. You don't
- 18:10Speaker 1: have to if you feel is in a plastic bag
- 18:13Speaker 1: or you know what I'm saying, And it's just and
- 18:14Speaker 1: it's calling me like that. So my body had done
- 18:16Speaker 1: got used to it. And then like so and then
- 18:21Speaker 1: like you know, my I think me praying to me
- 18:23Speaker 1: and close like starting out in the church, you know
- 18:25Speaker 1: what I mean, what my mama always said, and you
- 18:28Speaker 1: know what people would say, a little spatter man, you
- 18:30Speaker 1: can be certainly you can do this, and you can
- 18:33Speaker 1: do that. And then like, um, well this what made
- 18:37Speaker 1: me really stop when my child came in the house,
- 18:42Speaker 1: how something, you know what I mean. I was like, damn,
- 18:44Speaker 1: my little girl you know, first it was sweet, you're
- 18:47Speaker 1: feeling me, but you know, she grew up. My baby
- 18:51Speaker 1: mama really didn't let me see it like that. I
- 18:53Speaker 1: got three kids and three different baby mamas, so you
- 18:57Speaker 1: know what I mean. The downside of that is we're
- 19:00Speaker 1: not in the same home, you know what I mean.
- 19:02Speaker 1: And and I'm still running around being a horror, you
- 19:06Speaker 1: know what I mean. So it's I don't have that
- 19:09Speaker 1: one on one daddy daughter thing, which i'm their monetary wise,
- 19:14Speaker 1: but actually being the father and actually seeing this, you
- 19:17Speaker 1: know what I mean, I kind of like dropped the
- 19:20Speaker 1: ball on that with my you know, choice of how
- 19:25Speaker 1: I approach women in the relationships that I wanted, you
- 19:28Speaker 1: know what I mean, So and and and and when
- 19:31Speaker 1: I say that, I take my piece of the blame,
- 19:34Speaker 1: you know what I mean for what you know, my actions.
- 19:37Speaker 1: But it was a lot of things that my baby
- 19:38Speaker 1: mama did to her. You know, you can't see her
- 19:40Speaker 1: or you know what I mean, this and that, but
- 19:42Speaker 1: most for the most part, we split it in half.
- 19:45Speaker 1: So by the time my little girl showed up and
- 19:49Speaker 1: I had witnessed this, she was on weed. I was like,
- 19:51Speaker 1: oh I told about it. I was like, well, you know,
- 19:53Speaker 1: our family really funked up on this stuff, like it
- 19:56Speaker 1: can get out of hand, you know what I mean.
- 19:58Speaker 1: So she really did listen. So she went on out
- 20:00Speaker 1: into the world. And man, when she came back and
- 20:05Speaker 1: I went out and saw her, I was like, damn.
- 20:08Speaker 1: So she picked up the phone. She was like, Dad,
- 20:10Speaker 1: I don't look the same, so don't don't cry when
- 20:12Speaker 1: you walk up on me. I'm like, god, damn. And
- 20:14Speaker 1: I go see her. Man, I just felt on my
- 20:17Speaker 1: knees and I was like, baby, just getting the car,
- 20:19Speaker 1: We're gonna go see about this ship, you know what
- 20:21Speaker 1: I'm saying, And like that moment is the moment when
- 20:24Speaker 1: you I was. I was. I was booking it on
- 20:29Speaker 1: the way in the car. I was already I was
- 20:31Speaker 1: filling out the stuff I feel. I was like, we're
- 20:34Speaker 1: gonna go together, you know what I'm saying, And this
- 20:36Speaker 1: HeiG gonna go. She was like yeah, So she she
- 20:39Speaker 1: was really out of her mind. I'm talking out literally,
- 20:42Speaker 1: no shoes on, hands, dirty feet, dirty you fear me,
- 20:46Speaker 1: part me old man, beer kins, baggy is all that
- 20:50Speaker 1: ship was like. It was like I've seen out of
- 20:52Speaker 1: a movie. And I was like, lord, I know you
- 20:54Speaker 1: ain't just feed me this and I had to eat it,
- 20:57Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And so I was like, yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: this is for me. I had tried a little bit
- 21:03Speaker 1: in the past. Tip had tried to. Tip was like, Bro,
- 21:06Speaker 1: we gotta you know, because we started out together, you
- 21:09Speaker 1: know what I mean. And Tip, y'all used to be like, bro,
- 21:11Speaker 1: you need to go get some help. I ain't going
- 21:13Speaker 1: without you because we we started, you know, in that
- 21:16Speaker 1: kind of game. But Tip actually he kind of like
- 21:21Speaker 1: he did, he kind of like went big dog and
- 21:23Speaker 1: just was like, but this's how you do it. Like,
- 21:25Speaker 1: and I'm gonna have to cut you off if you
- 21:27Speaker 1: don't get yourself together in your head because you were
- 21:30Speaker 1: so close you're feeling me. I can't get straight if
- 21:33Speaker 1: you're not, you know what I mean. So if we
- 21:34Speaker 1: ain't on the same page, we're gonna have you know,
- 21:36Speaker 1: we ain't gonna leave each other. But if I can't
- 21:39Speaker 1: convince you that help yourself, I have to go ahead
- 21:41Speaker 1: and help myself and maybe I can come back for you.
- 21:44Speaker 1: But you know, so that that was how it went
- 21:47Speaker 1: with me and him. So I was there one time
- 21:50Speaker 1: and then I was sitting there and we was getting
- 21:52Speaker 1: all this money and I heard these people talking about things.
- 21:55Speaker 1: He not the gottish kid, and I was like, well,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I ain't that kind of junkie, you know what I mean, celebrity.
- 21:59Speaker 1: We had cars and you know, we're running faring out
- 22:01Speaker 1: this dreary, all these women like me, and it was
- 22:04Speaker 1: just it was steady creeping. It was just walking me down.
- 22:07Speaker 1: And it walked me all the way down to zero dollars,
- 22:10Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Yeah, yeah, it walked me
- 22:14Speaker 1: all the way down to zero dollars. And I think
- 22:16Speaker 1: God was like, now what you know what I mean?
- 22:19Speaker 1: And I was like, I stopped for a second, you know,
- 22:22Speaker 1: get myself back. And then you know, I think I
- 22:24Speaker 1: went to breakfast club and I got mack and it
- 22:27Speaker 1: was called and I was doing the drill revamp thing.
- 22:30Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I started doing you know
- 22:31Speaker 1: a little bit better, you know what I mean, And
- 22:33Speaker 1: um um, I guess God was just still blessing me
- 22:37Speaker 1: with hits and stuff, you know what I mean. You
- 22:40Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I would go down and come
- 22:43Speaker 1: back up, and go down and come back up, you
- 22:44Speaker 1: know what I mean. But my my little girl. And
- 22:46Speaker 1: then I was like Okay, I gotta stop everything because
- 22:49Speaker 1: I still was doing weed and drinking you know, champagne,
- 22:52Speaker 1: and and sometimes I would stop weed, you know what
- 22:54Speaker 1: I mean. And sometimes and I was just in interviews
- 22:57Speaker 1: just lying like a mother, like you clean, Like yeah,
- 23:00Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. But I thought my clean
- 23:02Speaker 1: was it was normal to smoke weed, it was normal
- 23:05Speaker 1: to have a drink or two, you know what I mean.
- 23:07Speaker 1: It was normal. So when they asked me, was I clean?
- 23:10Speaker 1: I was like yeah, And for the most part at
- 23:12Speaker 1: that time, that's what I considered clean. You feel me.
- 23:15Speaker 1: But the the realization of what I was trying to
- 23:19Speaker 1: you know, I was trying to figure I was trying
- 23:21Speaker 1: to figure out myself what is clean to me? You
- 23:24Speaker 1: feel me? And I thought I was like, that was
- 23:26Speaker 1: what was clean to me. And then I when I
- 23:27Speaker 1: saw my daughter on that and where she was headed,
- 23:30Speaker 1: I said, no, clean is everything, you know what I mean?
- 23:34Speaker 1: I could. I remember talking to Gucci and he was
- 23:36Speaker 1: telling me, man, you need to get all the way
- 23:38Speaker 1: across the board clean, and I just couldn't understand, you know,
- 23:42Speaker 1: letting it go, all of it. I was like, like
- 23:45Speaker 1: boring after that, you know what I'm saying I ain't
- 23:47Speaker 1: even gonna be the same person, and I was scared
- 23:49Speaker 1: to be like normal. I was scared to be better,
- 23:52Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And I really feared that,
- 23:55Speaker 1: Like I really was, like my music ain't gonna be
- 23:57Speaker 1: the same. I ain't gonna stand in the club with
- 24:00Speaker 1: like this bit a't gonna like me and this thing
- 24:01Speaker 1: ain't gonna be fun. I'm like, I'm gonna lose all
- 24:03Speaker 1: these people, and like none of that ship really mattered
- 24:07Speaker 1: when I when I saw my daughter like that, I
- 24:09Speaker 1: was like, I'm gonna go ahead and be all the
- 24:11Speaker 1: way clean. So now she's sober and still, yeah, she's
- 24:15Speaker 1: still I just had to go ahead of her and
- 24:17Speaker 1: pray to God, like that's why I was when we
- 24:19Speaker 1: did the interview, I was asking for prayer, like because
- 24:22Speaker 1: I don't know people people talk about me so bad
- 24:26Speaker 1: on on social media? What draw ahead? And why he
- 24:30Speaker 1: ain't and you know, and she and she always mentioned
- 24:32Speaker 1: my name, like my dad is this person? They be
- 24:34Speaker 1: like why the fun you feel me? And now if
- 24:36Speaker 1: I if I could make that choice for it, I
- 24:38Speaker 1: would most definitely snap my finger. And she's off of it,
- 24:42Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I can't control her going
- 24:45Speaker 1: out doing drugs, and she has to want, she has
- 24:48Speaker 1: to get to help for them to help her. I mean,
- 24:51Speaker 1: I think you definitely said a couple of valuable, super
- 24:54Speaker 1: valuable things, and that I think a lot of people
- 24:55Speaker 1: assumed that the relationship between you and t I fell
- 24:59Speaker 1: off on a negative note. What you're saying is no,
- 25:02Speaker 1: t I love me enough and loves himself enough to say, hey,
- 25:07Speaker 1: I'm here for you. I'm never leaving you. But if
- 25:08Speaker 1: you don't make a decision to be a better person,
- 25:11Speaker 1: I have to move on. And you had to fast
- 25:13Speaker 1: forward show that same type of love to your own child. Um,
- 25:19Speaker 1: I'm working like seventeen months ago, yeah, very fresh. I
- 25:26Speaker 1: was out at metro Boomings released party of people was
- 25:31Speaker 1: just telling me, I mean, you a legend, don't let
- 25:33Speaker 1: nobody tell you different, And three people said the same
- 25:35Speaker 1: exact thing. I was like, it's God talking to me.
- 25:38Speaker 1: He right, But but I felt so out of place.
- 25:42Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying because I'm used to and
- 25:43Speaker 1: I was. I was denying blunting people handing my like nahem,
- 25:49Speaker 1: those environments, it's it's it's some justice dopeest lyricists ever.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Bro The word play with the with the goddamn colors
- 25:59Speaker 1: and damn ship. You definitely have a support system behind you.
- 26:04Speaker 1: I mean, you know, when Ry and I interviewed you
- 26:07Speaker 1: on our radio show and we ask for people to
- 26:10Speaker 1: call in, there were people calling in well after the show,
- 26:13Speaker 1: Like there were callers that we could not play on
- 26:15Speaker 1: air because we were already off air. But people were
- 26:18Speaker 1: constantly calling because they want you to know that you
- 26:22Speaker 1: are loved. Even though hip hop may look different right now,
- 26:25Speaker 1: even though some some of the younger kids coming up
- 26:28Speaker 1: may not show a lot of respect to the O
- 26:29Speaker 1: G s, Like, you got millions of people that support you,
- 26:32Speaker 1: not even just because of your music, but because of
- 26:34Speaker 1: who you are. I think it's very easy to see
- 26:36Speaker 1: that you are a person full of good energy. You've
- 26:39Speaker 1: got good light. What I want to ask now, though,
- 26:41Speaker 1: is like what is your intention with talking about sobriety
- 26:46Speaker 1: right now? Like what do you want to get out
- 26:48Speaker 1: of talking to millions of people about your sobriety? I mean,
- 26:52Speaker 1: like hope for the most important, Like I want to
- 26:55Speaker 1: actually give out hope, and um, I want to just
- 26:59Speaker 1: give my story to too, like be of service. You
- 27:02Speaker 1: know what I mean, because I believe. I didn't believe
- 27:05Speaker 1: I was gonna change, to be serious, I thought I
- 27:08Speaker 1: was gonna always do something. I was like because when
- 27:11Speaker 1: I got to rehab, she was like, so, what are
- 27:13Speaker 1: you gonna what are you not gonna stop doing? I
- 27:15Speaker 1: was like, well, i' gonna spoke. We didn't drink, and
- 27:16Speaker 1: when I got there, I was like, yeah, I'm just
- 27:19Speaker 1: chilling everything, you know what I mean. So and it's
- 27:21Speaker 1: and it's been cool. So I just want to be
- 27:23Speaker 1: able to help a lot of my a lot of
- 27:26Speaker 1: young black men that think that doing drugs and fitting
- 27:31Speaker 1: in it's cool, you know what I mean, It's not
- 27:34Speaker 1: who like And then I'm glad to be walk away
- 27:36Speaker 1: with my health still, you know, like because it's a
- 27:39Speaker 1: lot of us, you know, when we do these things,
- 27:42Speaker 1: were just thinking we're just doing it. We don't feel
- 27:44Speaker 1: it then, you know what I mean. But when we
- 27:46Speaker 1: get older, you know, those organs started kicking out and
- 27:49Speaker 1: that drinking every night and smoking all the time, and
- 27:52Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like, if you if you
- 27:54Speaker 1: can make it out with your health, you know what
- 27:56Speaker 1: I mean, don't don't push it until you feel me
- 27:59Speaker 1: until the doctor say, well, you're gonna have to do this,
- 28:02Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So I want to just
- 28:04Speaker 1: get the story out as a part of your sobriety.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Do you are you going back to so many people
- 28:08Speaker 1: that you Yeah, I'm like always like if I see you,
- 28:13Speaker 1: almost definitely gonna make it right. Or if I'm asked
- 28:15Speaker 1: a question, I'm definitely holding holding accountability for my actions.
- 28:20Speaker 1: That goes for past relationships or you know what I mean,
- 28:24Speaker 1: Like you know, somebody asked me a question about um
- 28:27Speaker 1: when me and Fantasias dated, and I had to address
- 28:32Speaker 1: that and telling that, you know, I was drugged up
- 28:35Speaker 1: and high and I wasn't ready for a strong woman
- 28:38Speaker 1: like that in my life, and like you know, and
- 28:40Speaker 1: then I know, I know the beautiful person, you know
- 28:44Speaker 1: what I mean, just I wasn't ready for I wasn't
- 28:47Speaker 1: man enough to be in a position like with a
- 28:49Speaker 1: strong woman like that, you know what I mean. And
- 28:51Speaker 1: I can take accountability for that, like the my Tip relationship,
- 28:57Speaker 1: you know what I mean a lot of things that
- 28:59Speaker 1: he's always drop. I'm called drop and I used to
- 29:02Speaker 1: just be somewhere in a spot just hies I can
- 29:06Speaker 1: be you know what I mean, And I know he
- 29:07Speaker 1: probably wouldn't wanted me to show up to some of
- 29:09Speaker 1: these places, and you know what I'm saying, and like
- 29:12Speaker 1: what throwing out of here? You know what I'm saying,
- 29:16Speaker 1: Joe and nine or Joe and Folk seeding somewhere, you
- 29:18Speaker 1: know what I'm saying that, And I just I don't
- 29:20Speaker 1: know why I used to run. I used to like searching.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I was searching for something. I don't know what it
- 29:28Speaker 1: was because right now I'm looking from looking at it
- 29:30Speaker 1: from right here I was I'm thinking myself, like what
- 29:33Speaker 1: the hell was I looking for? And I think I
- 29:35Speaker 1: was just trying to or he was running from so
- 29:37Speaker 1: I was running for something, you know what I mean.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Like I used to be in the room with big wigs,
- 29:42Speaker 1: you know, and I'll do what I gotta do, wrap
- 29:44Speaker 1: real good and get out of there. You know. I'll
- 29:46Speaker 1: do songs with Jeezy, I'll do songs with for Rell,
- 29:50Speaker 1: you know what I mean. But then once once it's over,
- 29:52Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, I got that done. Now I'm
- 29:54Speaker 1: about to go to the hood. And I don't know
- 29:57Speaker 1: what kept drawing me to that, And I think that
- 30:00Speaker 1: you know it was It's almost like you had impostor syndrome,
- 30:03Speaker 1: Like you just felt like maybe you were more comfortable
- 30:06Speaker 1: in the hood because that was your environment, that's where
- 30:07Speaker 1: you came from. But then you were around super successful
- 30:11Speaker 1: people and you probably as much as you knew you
- 30:13Speaker 1: were talented enough to be in that room, you may
- 30:16Speaker 1: not have felt like confident, like I belong in this room.
- 30:19Speaker 1: So let me go back to what I know that
- 30:21Speaker 1: was perfectly put. So when the last time you talked
- 30:23Speaker 1: to Tip Um, I was on the phone. I was
- 30:29Speaker 1: on a FaceTime CALLO throwed off one and when I
- 30:33Speaker 1: FaceTime him, I was just telling him about the show,
- 30:36Speaker 1: and then he just turned the phone and then Mentip
- 30:38Speaker 1: got on the phone together and he was like, Hey,
- 30:41Speaker 1: I've seen you on um a podcast and he was talking.
- 30:45Speaker 1: He was like, man, it's some good ship if you
- 30:47Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, And I was, and we just
- 30:49Speaker 1: went to reminiscing and talking whatever, and then like we
- 30:52Speaker 1: just got off the phone. But for the most part,
- 30:55Speaker 1: we haven't sat down and at the brother conversation. And
- 30:59Speaker 1: I I really want to do that with without you know, UM,
- 31:04Speaker 1: any anybody. Yeah, because we we we really got like
- 31:10Speaker 1: over twenty years, you know, we're knowing each other. He's
- 31:13Speaker 1: always been a big like a big brother, like you
- 31:16Speaker 1: know what I mean. I'm older, but he always been
- 31:18Speaker 1: like a big brother, you know what I mean to me,
- 31:20Speaker 1: and gave me guidance and talk to me, you know,
- 31:23Speaker 1: gave me like a lot of respect, you know what
- 31:25Speaker 1: I mean. And and actually you know, turned me onto
- 31:28Speaker 1: my first million bucks, you know what I'm saying. And
- 31:30Speaker 1: now I'm always in debt to him, you know what
- 31:32Speaker 1: I mean. So it's once I once we do collap
- 31:35Speaker 1: and sit back down, I know we can get through.
- 31:37Speaker 1: It's like any any any brother situation, you know what
- 31:40Speaker 1: I mean, any family situation, we can work it out. Okay,
- 31:44Speaker 1: So what new music you got coming up? Uh? I
- 31:47Speaker 1: just dropped Wednesday. It's a song called run Out of Time.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I actually was. It's a trilogy. It's three or three.
- 31:55Speaker 1: The run out of Time is like um us as
- 31:58Speaker 1: young black men, we we we don't do things into
- 32:02Speaker 1: it's too late, you know. Um perfect example, the Mego situation,
- 32:08Speaker 1: you know whatever they was going through now shot of Dead.
- 32:11Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I bet they wish that
- 32:13Speaker 1: they worked that out before that happened. And we should
- 32:16Speaker 1: take the initiative to do these things like men. You know,
- 32:20Speaker 1: what I'm saying, like, let's get this out of the way, bro,
- 32:21Speaker 1: because we too, we too, we then came up in
- 32:24Speaker 1: the same industry together. Let's work this out and you know,
- 32:27Speaker 1: and then that's that goes for like parents, if you
- 32:30Speaker 1: if you're into it with your parents or or sibling
- 32:33Speaker 1: or you know what I mean, just just men these things, man,
- 32:36Speaker 1: before you run out of time, you know what I mean,
- 32:38Speaker 1: put these guns down, and you know what I mean.
- 32:40Speaker 1: So I put the video out. I actually wrapped about
- 32:45Speaker 1: all of the rappers that we had that that was
- 32:47Speaker 1: that was close to me that I knew that we
- 32:49Speaker 1: had lost, you know, I just crammed them into the
- 32:51Speaker 1: second verse, you know what I mean. And um, it
- 32:54Speaker 1: was very it was very a passionate song from me,
- 32:57Speaker 1: you know what I mean, that me as they told, me,
- 32:59Speaker 1: as they told and put together it came out. Yeah. Yeah,
- 33:04Speaker 1: Tobin and Dietrich hadn't is singing on it. The gospel singer.
- 33:07Speaker 1: He's a great, great singer man. And like when after
- 33:11Speaker 1: I wrapped on it and he song on it and
- 33:12Speaker 1: he sent it back that she made me cry. So
- 33:14Speaker 1: I'm like, damn, yeah, let's take a quick commercial break.
- 33:19Speaker 1: We'll be back with baller mail right here on the
- 33:21Speaker 1: ball Or Show podcast. We'll be right back with more
- 33:24Speaker 1: of the Baller Alert Show message. Hey, little crew, my
- 33:35Speaker 1: mom is pregnant. Sounds like a congratulation, but here's one problem.
- 33:40Speaker 1: She's pregnant from my high school football coach. I'm already
- 33:44Speaker 1: mad because my friends are picking on me that they date.
- 33:47Speaker 1: What's your opinion on how I should cope with this?
- 33:50Speaker 1: Helped me out? Mama? He had the coach daughter your mom,
- 33:59Speaker 1: and you didn't know. I'm pretty sure he plays on
