- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to us.
- 0:05Speaker 2: On air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 1: So I was reading something it says that I think
- 0:12Speaker 1: it was forty five percent of like college age students
- 0:20Speaker 1: have never asked out a person in person. They've only
- 0:23Speaker 1: asked out a person on via text. They've never called
- 0:27Speaker 1: them and said, hey, do you want to go out?
- 0:29Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 0:29Speaker 2: So you yeah, that's true.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Really, have you ever been asked out verbally by a dude?
- 0:38Speaker 3: No?
- 0:39Speaker 1: Wow? The fact that to think about.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I asked Michael out for the first time via text.
- 0:45Speaker 2: It was not on the phone, it was not in person.
- 0:48Speaker 1: You were ahead of your time because people don't make
- 0:52Speaker 1: a lot of phone calls. No, Actually, I can't figure
- 0:56Speaker 1: it out. Like a friend of mine, she had her
- 0:58Speaker 1: birthday on Friday, and I think you're oblately to call
- 1:03Speaker 1: someone on their birthday? Are you not? Are you supposed
- 1:05Speaker 1: to call them? If they're a good friend on their birthday,
- 1:07Speaker 1: you have to call her? Can you text?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Text?
- 1:09Speaker 4: Time?
- 1:10Speaker 2: Text? It's fine.
- 1:11Speaker 1: See I texted and I said, hey, happy birthday, I'll
- 1:13Speaker 1: call you later. And then how to make a quick call.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I feel like if it's a close friend, you should
- 1:20Speaker 1: call them on their birthday. Uh, there aren't many other
- 1:23Speaker 1: things where you need to make a phone call. Well,
- 1:26Speaker 1: sometimes I just don't want to type out stuff, so
- 1:28Speaker 1: I'll say call you later.
- 1:30Speaker 2: What else isn't he making dinner reservations? If I'm looking
- 1:33Speaker 2: for a restaurant and it doesn't allow me to book
- 1:36Speaker 2: it online, then I won't. I won't go to so
- 1:41Speaker 2: true to call them.
- 1:43Speaker 1: No, No, Now can if I leave you a voice note,
- 1:48Speaker 1: do you keep that or does that disappear? Because I
- 1:50Speaker 1: always want Sometimes I think about leaving voice notes, but
- 1:53Speaker 1: then I don't want my message to exist forever.
- 1:55Speaker 5: You can keep it if you want, but you'll get
- 1:57Speaker 5: notified if they keep it.
- 1:59Speaker 1: It says keep right. Yeah, Well how can I just
- 2:02Speaker 1: send it and have it disappear?
- 2:05Speaker 2: You can't do it on snapchat? Yeah, send someone you trust.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Well, there's no one around like that, all right? I
- 2:14Speaker 1: just think that to call And Yeah, I was blown
- 2:16Speaker 1: away that almost half of the college students have never
- 2:19Speaker 1: asked somebody out in person. But there we are. We've
- 2:22Speaker 1: got your five hundred dollars to help out with students, teachers,
- 2:26Speaker 1: whatever you need it for back to school cash every hour.
- 2:29Speaker 1: We'll do the first one next. You don't you want
- 2:32Speaker 1: people to say about you. He's a good time. That's
- 2:34Speaker 1: what you want. That's what I want, Like i I'm
- 2:37Speaker 1: want on my tombstone. He's a good time. He was
- 2:41Speaker 1: a good time. That's what you want to put. Yeah,
- 2:43Speaker 1: he was a good time. Like you don't think you
- 2:45Speaker 1: know he has a good time. That's a massive company.
- 2:47Speaker 1: You go through life, you do all the things, and
- 2:49Speaker 1: all people can remember. I don't know much about him,
- 2:51Speaker 1: but he's a good time. Yeah, just FM in the morning.
- 2:55Speaker 1: They're a good time. That's what we want. That's the
- 2:57Speaker 1: marketing campaign for twenty years. Yes, on air drining secrets.
- 3:02Speaker 1: They're good time.
- 3:03Speaker 2: It's always a good time.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I can't remember what they talked about, but they're good time,
- 3:09Speaker 1: all right. Meanwhile, over here, our intern Sophia is dating
- 3:13Speaker 1: a guy named Skeletor because that was his costume on Halloween.
- 3:15Speaker 1: It's been going very well. She's into it. He has
- 3:18Speaker 1: not said let's be exclusive yet. I'm not quite sure
- 3:21Speaker 1: what he's waiting for, but he hasn't now Sofia, there
- 3:26Speaker 1: apparently is a setback in this situation that is embarrassing
- 3:30Speaker 1: and at the risk of making people stomachs turn this morning.
- 3:35Speaker 1: We will continue, but just be aware this is a
- 3:38Speaker 1: little gross what happened.
- 3:40Speaker 2: So I had a great weekend.
- 3:42Speaker 6: On Saturday, we went to Luguna Beach, Skeletor and I
- 3:44Speaker 6: in the morning and we got some lunch. We sat
- 3:47Speaker 6: by the water, and then we came back. The vibes
- 3:49Speaker 6: were really good that day. It was a great day.
- 3:51Speaker 6: We went our separate ways, and then my friends and
- 3:53Speaker 6: I decided to go out to party that night, and
- 3:57Speaker 6: because we were in such good vibes with Skeletor, I
- 4:00Speaker 6: called him to come pick us up so we didn't
- 4:02Speaker 6: have to pay for an uber.
- 4:03Speaker 2: And halfway home, we.
- 4:06Speaker 6: Just hear this very disgusting sound from the backseat and
- 4:11Speaker 6: my friend was throwing up in his car.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, my god. Yeah, she's a deal breaker.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Handle the situation. This says everything. How did he handle
- 4:23Speaker 2: the situation?
- 4:24Speaker 6: I could tell he was grossed out, and he like
- 4:27Speaker 6: pulled over and just like gave her water. And I'm
- 4:32Speaker 6: just so embarrassed because the next day he took his
- 4:34Speaker 6: car to get cleaned, and I told him I'm like, please,
- 4:37Speaker 6: like can I pay for it?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Like?
- 4:39Speaker 6: Can I have my friend pay for it? And he
- 4:43Speaker 6: tried to like brush it off. But I could tell
- 4:44Speaker 6: that he's just so grossed out.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Well, yeah, he would not be grossed out by someone
- 4:50Speaker 1: getting sick in the back of their car. What did
- 4:51Speaker 1: your friend drink that made her so sick?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Everything?
- 4:55Speaker 1: And that's problem you got to learn. I got to
- 4:57Speaker 1: write a notebook for you guys. He can't. You can't
- 5:01Speaker 1: mix all night. That's what you gotta pick a lane,
- 5:04Speaker 1: don't mix it up.
- 5:06Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 5:06Speaker 1: To me, that is a that is a bad step back.
- 5:10Speaker 1: At least it wasn't you. Maybe it would have been
- 5:12Speaker 1: worse if it were her, Like if it were you,
- 5:17Speaker 1: it could have that could be.
- 5:21Speaker 2: It might be you at some point. It's all about
- 5:24Speaker 2: how he handles it. I feel like any guy who
- 5:26Speaker 2: can deal with a little bit of puke from you
- 5:28Speaker 2: or a friend is a keeper.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:30Speaker 1: And does he hold your hair?
- 5:31Speaker 2: If you get that's what I'm saying, Yeah.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Does he just does he not skip a beat and
- 5:36Speaker 1: hold your hair? So you think that he took this
- 5:39Speaker 1: in stride, then like he's but he I mean, he
- 5:42Speaker 1: bothered him a little bit. But it's not going to
- 5:43Speaker 1: affect your pursuit.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I hope not.
- 5:46Speaker 6: I haven't seen him since so we'll see.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Been like a day and a half.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Yeah, the smell is still lingering even with that linger Hi, Jody,
- 6:00Speaker 1: you good money in Lancaster. Thanks for calling. Hi.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Hi.
- 6:06Speaker 1: So you're dating someone and the question is how soon
- 6:11Speaker 1: is too soon to be labeled boyfriend girlfriend? Is that right?
- 6:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's about like six weeks of us being together
- 6:20Speaker 3: and see each other like officially, not officially. It's a
- 6:24Speaker 3: little kind of gray area because we know each other prior.
- 6:26Speaker 3: But I'm just looking for some clarity.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, well gray is not good. I can clear that up.
- 6:33Speaker 1: In the six weeks on average, how many days in
- 6:36Speaker 1: between each time you see him?
- 6:40Speaker 3: Maybe like a day barring on two, Like we're kind
- 6:45Speaker 3: of busy, but we try to spend like nights with
- 6:48Speaker 3: one another or like have prolong.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Executive nights, back to back nights, not just weekends.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Like all go over there for a night, wake up
- 6:58Speaker 3: in the morning. Maybe I won't go back the next night,
- 7:00Speaker 3: but then I'll go back the next after that, if
- 7:03Speaker 3: that makes sense.
- 7:04Speaker 1: So you stay with him? Do you have clothes in
- 7:06Speaker 1: a drawer?
- 7:07Speaker 3: Yeah, a couple of sauces, your T shirts.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Final question, this is very very simple. Are you calling
- 7:20Speaker 1: each other babe, babe, babe.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I mean I call everybody babe, like the
- 7:29Speaker 3: guy at the grocery store's babe. I go, hey, babe,
- 7:31Speaker 3: ne bag.
- 7:31Speaker 1: This what does he call you? Does this guy call
- 7:34Speaker 1: you babe? Guys don't throw around babe unless they are
- 7:36Speaker 1: meaning something, So does he call you babe?
- 7:39Speaker 3: You know? Sometimes when not like consistently.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Right, then I think you are at the place where
- 7:47Speaker 1: a conversation is warranted because it can be very simple. Hey, look,
- 7:52Speaker 1: we have been hanging for like these six weeks, and
- 7:56Speaker 1: I just want to, you know, unclarity in a gray area,
- 8:00Speaker 1: maybe not a good idea. Do you think we should
- 8:04Speaker 1: take it to the next level? Like you would be
- 8:07Speaker 1: upset if he sees another person, right, he'd probably be
- 8:10Speaker 1: upset if you've see another person. So do you have
- 8:13Speaker 1: the conversation about taking it to the next level.
- 8:16Speaker 3: He has asked me to be his girlfriend, and like
- 8:19Speaker 3: we're kind of exclusive in a way where like we
- 8:20Speaker 3: don't see other people. I think the thing for me
- 8:24Speaker 3: is that I haven't given him like a direct answer
- 8:27Speaker 3: because I keep getting pushed back from my siblings who
- 8:30Speaker 3: are like, no, it's too soon, you shouldn't be doing that,
- 8:35Speaker 3: like you barely know him, but he's like fairly serious
- 8:38Speaker 3: about me, even if he's more relaxed.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Well, there's no such thing as kind of exclusive. Either
- 8:44Speaker 1: you are or you are not. You might value your siblings' opinions,
- 8:49Speaker 1: but you're just leave it at this. You are in
- 8:52Speaker 1: what you called a gray area. The great area leaves
- 8:56Speaker 1: room for damage, hurt, confusion, bad feelings, jealousy, all the
- 9:02Speaker 1: stuff that comes along with the gray. So you got
- 9:05Speaker 1: to decide. Do you listen to your siblings and you
- 9:07Speaker 1: get out of the gray Jodie, that's the choice. Thank
- 9:08Speaker 1: you for calling.
- 9:10Speaker 7: Thanks?
- 9:12Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, I don't turn around babe unless it's babe. No,
- 9:22Speaker 1: are you sympathy awe.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Because it's sweet. I want you to find somebody.
- 9:27Speaker 8: Oh, Tanya, get over it, my gosh. So it's like
- 9:31Speaker 8: it's not, but you make it seem so pathetic. It
- 9:36Speaker 8: was a pathetic tone. I feel so sorry for you Ryan.
- 9:41Speaker 2: So much, and I know it over it.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I don't need somebody, oh my gosh.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Clearly I don't want what you want from me. I
- 9:50Speaker 2: think you do. I don't think you know what you
- 9:53Speaker 2: want at this point.
- 9:56Speaker 1: It's fair, it's fair, but I did I did. I
- 9:59Speaker 1: will tell you more than I a couple of weeks. Okay,
- 10:08Speaker 1: right now, I can't give it to all y'all. Now
- 10:10Speaker 1: kiss if I'm hang on. Actually it's easy, but it
- 10:13Speaker 1: involves putting down your device and hm, this is not
- 10:18Speaker 1: earth shattering. But if you do this before you go
- 10:21Speaker 1: to bed, you'll sleep better and you'll be happier. And
- 10:23Speaker 1: that is read. I always say I'm going to do it.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Like read like a real book or like you're off
- 10:31Speaker 2: your phone, you.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Put your phone down and read a book. I I
- 10:37Speaker 1: never do. I mean if I do, I read like
- 10:40Speaker 1: a half a paragraph and I'm like, this wasn't so
- 10:45Speaker 1: good luck? But they say that works. Today's quote having
- 10:48Speaker 1: someone you can call crying, this is your quote. Listen
- 10:51Speaker 1: to this. Having someone you can call crying and in
- 10:55Speaker 1: the call laughing. That's who you want. That's who you want.
- 11:00Speaker 1: What kind of person you want to meet? That's great?
- 11:02Speaker 1: Write that down. What are you looking for? I'm going
- 11:04Speaker 1: for someone who can listen to me cry and make
- 11:05Speaker 1: me laugh all on the same phone, called that's what
- 11:07Speaker 1: you want? Write that down for somebody. Why don't you
- 11:10Speaker 1: point seven kiss FM? All right, Tanya, let's get to
- 11:12Speaker 1: the headlines What's Happening this morning Kiss FM Headlines with
- 11:16Speaker 1: Tanya rad Well.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Los Angeles County has started finding lineage logistics after inspectors
- 11:21Speaker 5: found flies, rodents, and other pest problems at its fire
- 11:25Speaker 5: damaged warehouse and boil Heights. The Rams kicked off training
- 11:28Speaker 5: camp this week with Matthew Stafford and DeVante Adams back
- 11:31Speaker 5: on the field as the team begins preparing for the
- 11:34Speaker 5: new NFL season, and Marvel officially announced Black Panther three
- 11:38Speaker 5: will hit theaters on December fifteenth, twenty twenty eight.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of all of us here, who's
- 11:45Speaker 1: been through the most breakups? What would you think, Tanya
- 11:49Speaker 1: Assistani or me?
- 11:51Speaker 2: Oh, I think me.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Possible, possible. And when you do break up, like I
- 12:02Speaker 1: find myself wanting to snack or eat or you know,
- 12:05Speaker 1: sort of ease the pain.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Oh, mine was ice cream.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Food was ice cream?
- 12:09Speaker 2: Right?
- 12:09Speaker 1: So the there are like very popular breakup foods that
- 12:13Speaker 1: somehow came into my algorithm, So I just wanted to
- 12:16Speaker 1: share this with you. The most popular are milkshakes, cupcakes,
- 12:19Speaker 1: grilled cheese, and tacos. I think I could probably go
- 12:22Speaker 1: down any one of those paths. And find myself feeling
- 12:26Speaker 1: a little bit better until I'm not. It's like during
- 12:28Speaker 1: the process, it really, it really helps with the wound
- 12:32Speaker 1: of a breakup. But then afterwards I find myself kind
- 12:35Speaker 1: of doubly deep depressed. So is it worth it getting
- 12:38Speaker 1: into cookie dough or getting into French fries. It's not.
- 12:41Speaker 2: It's not because of the pain afterwards. I don't know
- 12:44Speaker 2: about you guys, but like I, it's an instant stomach pain.
- 12:49Speaker 1: You when you eat that kind of ry exactly.
- 12:52Speaker 2: It hits me like a ton of bricks, and then
- 12:53Speaker 2: I feel even worse.
- 12:54Speaker 1: The one thing that I will put up pain for
- 12:57Speaker 1: is cookie dough. I cannot stop myself with cooking. If
- 12:59Speaker 1: I go in to the store and I go down
- 13:01Speaker 1: that protein bar aisle that has one thousand protein bars
- 13:04Speaker 1: these days, yeah, I will try every Cookieito protein bar
- 13:08Speaker 1: that is there because it is so good with my
- 13:10Speaker 1: coffee in the morning. Uh. And you know what I
- 13:12Speaker 1: also notice, like, oh, when I'm home over the weekend,
- 13:14Speaker 1: if I've got stuff in the fridge, like I try
- 13:16Speaker 1: meal prep for the week, if I've got stuff in
- 13:18Speaker 1: the fridge, I will stop. I will I will drive
- 13:21Speaker 1: by and graze all day if I'm home, Like, do
- 13:24Speaker 1: you find yourself doing that? Just grazing all day?
- 13:26Speaker 4: Now?
- 13:26Speaker 2: My husband Michael does.
- 13:27Speaker 1: He does like we pop poppy and I open it up,
- 13:29Speaker 1: I eat it cold, I put it back. I go
- 13:31Speaker 1: back an hour later, I do the same thing. It's
- 13:33Speaker 1: a and I can't sit and I tell myself stop
- 13:35Speaker 1: doing that. It just can't. The number one breakup food
- 13:40Speaker 1: in case you are going to Nebraska is popcorn. That
- 13:44Speaker 1: seems like not enough guilt. I want more guilt out
- 13:49Speaker 1: of it. I agree it's one or two point seven
- 13:52Speaker 1: because I f M. I don't know what it's like
- 13:55Speaker 1: at your office or where you work, but there's always
- 13:58Speaker 1: a risk in going into the bathroom here. You never
- 14:00Speaker 1: know who you might run into and have to now
- 14:03Speaker 1: I say have to, but end up like talking to
- 14:07Speaker 1: or if there's somebody in there and you need to
- 14:09Speaker 1: make some noise. The whole charade of like trying to
- 14:13Speaker 1: be quiet and waiting till their feet crossed that little
- 14:17Speaker 1: partition on the bottom between the partition and the floor
- 14:19Speaker 1: they exit. I mean, I have to admit I've faked
- 14:23Speaker 1: an exit before with the door and just stayed and
- 14:25Speaker 1: hung around to see if people were waiting for me
- 14:28Speaker 1: to leave, Like I faked the door closed.
- 14:30Speaker 2: God, it's so weird.
- 14:32Speaker 1: It's weird, but I faked the door. I've seen in
- 14:34Speaker 1: movies before, not for bathroom things, but like people who
- 14:37Speaker 1: are in bad scenes. To me, No, but what happened
- 14:41Speaker 1: to use gross? What happened to you is bad?
- 14:43Speaker 2: Well, this is the thing. It's not as bad in
- 14:45Speaker 2: the female restroom. I feel like we ladies kind of
- 14:48Speaker 2: just get in, get out or not like hanging out.
- 14:51Speaker 2: And I don't know what y'all do in there, but
- 14:54Speaker 2: I feel like the men's restroom there's a lot of lingering.
- 14:57Speaker 2: All I hear is horror stories from like Mark and
- 14:59Speaker 2: the other people. They're just like what noises like you're
- 15:01Speaker 2: saying going on in there? Well, I was coming to
- 15:04Speaker 2: the bathroom and the sales guy. I'm not going to
- 15:06Speaker 2: out him or say his name, but he comes out
- 15:09Speaker 2: of the bathroom all chipper, holding his laptop full open laptop,
- 15:15Speaker 2: just like he's just like, Hi, now, how long were
- 15:21Speaker 2: you in there that you need?
- 15:23Speaker 1: I have to say in defense of this unknown salesperson
- 15:27Speaker 1: and those of us that use that side of the bathroom,
- 15:31Speaker 1: I can't figure out if it's an efficiency model, like
- 15:33Speaker 1: we want to get stuff done, we're being very efficient.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Or if it's also childhood, I remember childhood. My father
- 15:40Speaker 1: would take the newspaper into the bathroom on a Sunday
- 15:44Speaker 1: and there he went, there he went, and he would
- 15:47Speaker 1: leave different sections, not just one section, not just like
- 15:50Speaker 1: the main section, like he would take different sections and
- 15:54Speaker 1: inserts of the newspaper into the bathroom. And so part
- 15:57Speaker 1: of me, even at home when I go in there,
- 16:00Speaker 1: I'm carrying my to do list, I'm carrying a notepad,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I'm carrying a pen, I'm carrying things to get done.
- 16:05Speaker 1: And I find it a bit of an escape. No,
- 16:09Speaker 1: not at work, but at home it does become a
- 16:12Speaker 1: bit of an escape.
- 16:14Speaker 2: I can't find that to be pleasant or healthy.
- 16:19Speaker 1: At work, it's I mean, we're like this men's bathroom
- 16:22Speaker 1: here in Burbank. We are a step away from a
- 16:25Speaker 1: curing sort of coffee machine being in there, and we
- 16:28Speaker 1: can just do it all. No, And to this salesperson,
- 16:36Speaker 1: I guess you might be listening. If you are brave
- 16:39Speaker 1: enough to come confront us Tony on this issue, please
- 16:43Speaker 1: you know where we are.
- 16:44Speaker 2: That would be major one.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Or two point seven. Kiss up done. It's time for
- 16:50Speaker 1: Ryan's roses, and here we go. Mia is on the phone.
- 16:54Speaker 1: If you're having trouble, you need peace of mind in
- 16:56Speaker 1: your relationship, tell us what's happening. We will get your
- 17:00Speaker 1: husband on the phone. We will find out. It usually works.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So now, Mia, over the weekend, you got this call
- 17:09Speaker 1: that kept coming in from a blocked number. Is that correct?
- 17:13Speaker 9: Yeah, that's right.
- 17:17Speaker 1: And you would answer and then that person would hang up.
- 17:20Speaker 9: Yep every time, and then yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Your voice on the other end. Was there anything, any
- 17:27Speaker 1: indication of anything on the other end.
- 17:31Speaker 9: Nope, nope, just silence and then hang up.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Why did this make you suspicious?
- 17:40Speaker 9: Well, at first it was just weird. But then when
- 17:44Speaker 9: my husband came home, he answered it, and he left
- 17:48Speaker 9: the room and spoke to whoever it was, and yeah,
- 17:53Speaker 9: I don't know, I don't I didn't believe him when
- 17:55Speaker 9: he got back, when I got back, like.
- 18:00Speaker 2: What do you say?
- 18:00Speaker 9: Honestly, it was the way his whole energy changed. He
- 18:05Speaker 9: didn't roll his eyes or get annoyed or act like
- 18:09Speaker 9: this woman again. He got really quiet and gentle and like, yeah, sorry,
- 18:18Speaker 9: go ahead.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Hey, you have to like you have to have already
- 18:21Speaker 1: something planted in your mind to think that just a
- 18:23Speaker 1: random call like that is him cheating on you. What's
- 18:27Speaker 1: going on? What's the backstory here?
- 18:30Speaker 9: Well, he said that it was some former client who
- 18:33Speaker 9: wouldn't leave him alone. Sorry, I should have mentioned that earlier.
- 18:39Speaker 1: And you think he's talking to another woman behind your back,
- 18:42Speaker 1: lying about a client, that's what you think is going on.
- 18:46Speaker 9: I yeah, that's my guess. I don't know. Maybe I
- 18:50Speaker 9: hope not obviously, but yes.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Okay, hold on one second. To me, there's something we
- 18:56Speaker 1: don't know there. Yeh, she's jump into a big conclusion,
- 18:59Speaker 1: or she's not happy anyway, we'll call him next. You're
- 19:03Speaker 1: in the middle of Ryan's roses. I just want to
- 19:04Speaker 1: say something before MEA gets on the phone.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I either feel like she's not telling us the whole
- 19:09Speaker 1: story about something that's going what's happening with her husband,
- 19:12Speaker 1: or she kind of wants to catch him, like she
- 19:16Speaker 1: just jumped to the conclusion that the phone kept ringing
- 19:19Speaker 1: every time she would answer, the person would hang up.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Then he the husband answered, he walked out of the room,
- 19:25Speaker 1: and he acted fishy suspect about who is on the
- 19:28Speaker 1: other end, And her conclusion is just, oh, that's got
- 19:31Speaker 1: to be another woman, he's cheating on me. To me,
- 19:33Speaker 1: it's a big leap.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, there must be more going on.
- 19:37Speaker 1: So but she didn't tell us that. Now, Mia, we're
- 19:40Speaker 1: gonna call your husband right now. I want you to
- 19:42Speaker 1: be very quiet. We're gonna find out when we offer
- 19:45Speaker 1: him some romantic roses who he's thinking about. Uh So,
- 19:49Speaker 1: if you would say, Ryan, you're my permission to call,
- 19:51Speaker 1: and then your husband's name.
- 19:52Speaker 9: Go ahead, Rian, you have my permission to call.
- 19:58Speaker 1: And do you have any idea who he might be
- 20:01Speaker 1: talking to in Lyne about On the other.
- 20:05Speaker 9: End, I mean, I don't have a name, but I
- 20:09Speaker 9: have a couple of guesses. There was one woman. It
- 20:14Speaker 9: was a buyer he worked for earlier this year, and
- 20:18Speaker 9: nothing inappropriate at the time, but she was intense, like
- 20:24Speaker 9: very flirty, very clearly available, and she kept texting him
- 20:32Speaker 9: way after their deal closed. But I don't know. It
- 20:36Speaker 9: could be someone I don't know about. And you know,
- 20:39Speaker 9: someone came at an open house or at a showing or.
- 20:44Speaker 1: What's this woman's name that you're speaking.
- 20:45Speaker 9: About, Oh, the intense one of Zadi Zadi Zady.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yeah, the z We go So be quiet here, we're
- 20:57Speaker 1: going to dial him up and see if we can
- 20:59Speaker 1: find out who he's thinking about and see if we
- 21:02Speaker 1: can get you some answers and peace of mind here.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Good luck.
- 21:06Speaker 7: Okay, Hello, Hi this Matt.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Yeah, this is Hi there.
- 21:22Speaker 2: My name is Candace. I'm calling from Sweet Blooms in
- 21:25Speaker 2: West Covina. How are you doing this morning?
- 21:29Speaker 4: I'm pretty good.
- 21:30Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 21:31Speaker 4: You know.
- 21:31Speaker 2: We deliver here locally and surrounding areas in Los Angeles,
- 21:34Speaker 2: and we're offering free promotion. It is free. I don't
- 21:36Speaker 2: need cash from you or anything like that. Before you
- 21:38Speaker 2: hang up. It's a dozen red roses that you can
- 21:40Speaker 2: send to anybody that you'd like.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Can I ask how you've got this number?
- 21:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we have a database here. You may have purchased
- 21:48Speaker 2: something either online in the past eighteen months and selected
- 21:51Speaker 2: to receive promotional offers from local vendors, and that's how
- 21:54Speaker 2: we get our list.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Okay.
- 21:57Speaker 2: We do this promotion about like once a month, so
- 21:59Speaker 2: you've been selected today.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Nice and sorry you said free red roses?
- 22:05Speaker 2: Is that the Yeah, they're beautiful option. That's like the
- 22:10Speaker 2: promotion I have had switched out the flower in the past.
- 22:13Speaker 2: If you want to do a different flower or a
- 22:15Speaker 2: different type of arrangement, but it is a dozen red roses.
- 22:18Speaker 2: They're beautiful.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Sorry sorry, yeah, no, I think like if you could
- 22:25Speaker 4: do like a mix of like a bunch of different flowers,
- 22:28Speaker 4: that'd be great.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I can throw in some lily's or yeah, just like
- 22:34Speaker 2: a like a variety or something like that, right, maybe
- 22:37Speaker 2: some tools.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know flowers that well to the option. Okay,
- 22:41Speaker 4: lily sound great?
- 22:42Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I mean they smell awesome as well. So okay,
- 22:45Speaker 2: what is the name of the person you want to
- 22:47Speaker 2: send these two? Her name's Genevieve, Genevieve, And what do
- 22:55Speaker 2: you like to put on the card for Genevieve.
- 22:59Speaker 4: On the hard Yeah? Okay, how about something like, uh,
- 23:06Speaker 4: here's to new beginnings. Let's make this next chapter happen.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Here's to new beginnings. Let's make this next chapter happen. Great.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Hey Matt, Matt, your voice is being broadcast on the radio.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Sorry to cut you off, but I have to. I
- 23:23Speaker 1: have a woman named Mea on the phone who tells
- 23:25Speaker 1: me she is your wife. Is that true?
- 23:29Speaker 8: Uh?
- 23:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sorry, Wait, who is this?
- 23:32Speaker 1: My name is Ryan, But the most important question is
- 23:35Speaker 1: who is Genevieve?
- 23:36Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 23:38Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, Hi, Ryan, Genevieve's a client, Matt. Yeah, No,
- 23:44Speaker 4: I sell real estate. You know, if you're if you're interested,
- 23:48Speaker 4: if you're looking for a place. You know, I'm always
- 23:50Speaker 4: happy to work with new clients.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Got it. But why are you sending romantic roses to Genevieve?
- 23:57Speaker 1: It seems a little fishy when you or marit, I mean.
- 24:02Speaker 4: It's not I wasn't sending roses. I was sending Uh
- 24:05Speaker 4: I think Lily's is what she said. And uh, yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 4: well I think I'm getting I'm getting that now. Uh
- 24:16Speaker 4: it's it's it's potentially a really big sale and she's
- 24:19Speaker 4: she's really close to closing, and I don't know, I
- 24:22Speaker 4: just thought that these these lilies might might push her
- 24:26Speaker 4: over the edge.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Got it. So let me just cut to the chase scene.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Here.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Your wife Mia thinks that something's going on with you
- 24:34Speaker 1: and possibly Genevieve.
- 24:35Speaker 4: Here.
- 24:35Speaker 1: She doesn't have uh the peace of mind and security
- 24:39Speaker 1: that you're not doing something on the side with some
- 24:41Speaker 1: other woman.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Mia.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Is that accurate?
- 24:45Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 24:46Speaker 9: That was right?
- 24:49Speaker 4: So okay, Uh, I don't I don't know why you
- 24:54Speaker 4: would uh have to go and do this. We could
- 24:57Speaker 4: we could just talk about this in person.
- 24:59Speaker 9: You know, I don't know. I feel like I tried
- 25:04Speaker 9: to bring it up and he said something. He said
- 25:08Speaker 9: that it was a client who wouldn't leave you alone.
- 25:10Speaker 9: And but you were so sweet and like gentle with
- 25:14Speaker 9: her when you were talking on the phone. It was
- 25:16Speaker 9: so bizarre.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, if you're talking about this particular client, I've
- 25:22Speaker 4: told you that that was That was Zadi And I asked,
- 25:28Speaker 4: you know, I asked her very directly to stop calling.
- 25:32Speaker 4: You know. She she bought the house. We don't have
- 25:35Speaker 4: any more business to discuss. And and that's that was
- 25:38Speaker 4: what that conversation was about. I was trying to be
- 25:40Speaker 4: respectful of you and and not stir the pot.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Okay, do you believe him? You know him better than
- 25:48Speaker 1: anybody here. Do you believe your husband here?
- 25:50Speaker 9: Well, what I want to know is, did did you
- 25:53Speaker 9: sleep with Zadie?
- 25:55Speaker 4: Oh? My god, babe, No, that come on, that's in sane.
- 26:01Speaker 9: Are you sure she made it very very clear that
- 26:05Speaker 9: she was super available to you.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Okay, you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna be uh,
- 26:10Speaker 4: I'm gonna put my cards on the table here and
- 26:12Speaker 4: be honest and and and tell you that nothing has
- 26:19Speaker 4: happened with her. Nothing has happened with any of my clients.
- 26:22Speaker 4: You know, I think Genevieve, who I was going to
- 26:25Speaker 4: send these flowers to, she might have feelings for me,
- 26:28Speaker 4: but that's that's not something that I can control.
- 26:32Speaker 1: No, Matt, you don't fuel it by sending her flowers
- 26:36Speaker 1: when you think she's got a thing for you. I
- 26:38Speaker 1: think that's what your wife's point is here.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Like you can't.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I haven't done you have you have? You're leading her on.
- 26:47Speaker 1: You're leading this other woman on, Matt, Like that's the problem.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Me is not wrong here. You're feeling thank you.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 26:58Speaker 9: You shutting it down and sending flowers doesn't really make sense.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Like, totally agreed, Totally agreed. So we're gonna let you go.
- 27:08Speaker 9: I love it, and I hate him so much.
- 27:12Speaker 4: I don't love to flirt, Babe. I'm a salesman. It's
- 27:15Speaker 4: a part of the job. Comfortable.
- 27:19Speaker 1: You don't send someone you think has feelings for you
- 27:22Speaker 1: flowers to lead them on.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Matt.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Mia MEA, we're gonna we have to jump, but you
- 27:27Speaker 1: take this. You take babe.
- 27:29Speaker 4: I'm gonna call you right after this. This is I
- 27:32Speaker 4: am not cheating. Nothing's going on I love you. I'm
- 27:34Speaker 4: gonna call you right now.
- 27:37Speaker 9: Oh cheer him.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I think me is not into.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Be either. If that was my husband for the job.
- 27:48Speaker 1: He knows that she's got feelings, and he's sending her flowers.
- 27:52Speaker 1: He's for sure flirting or inviting something.
- 27:56Speaker 4: For sure.
- 27:56Speaker 1: She's not wrong on air with it right sect. So
- 28:03Speaker 1: someone asked me siciny the other day, Hey, what kind
- 28:06Speaker 1: of what kind of data are you?
- 28:08Speaker 4: Like? What?
- 28:09Speaker 1: I don't even know what that means, but what kind
- 28:10Speaker 1: of a dater are you?
- 28:12Speaker 4: Okay?
- 28:12Speaker 1: And I didn't know what to say because I don't
- 28:14Speaker 1: know what the categories of daters are, But I said,
- 28:16Speaker 1: I think I'm romantic, like I think I like, and
- 28:20Speaker 1: I can't figure out sometimes if I do it for
- 28:21Speaker 1: me or if I do it for them. But I
- 28:24Speaker 1: like to do like things like detailed things.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Yes, I think you do grand gestures and things like
- 28:30Speaker 2: that when you're dating and you are romantic from what
- 28:33Speaker 2: you've shared with us, and.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Even sometimes when I'm starting to date, I like that too,
- 28:37Speaker 1: And I don't know if that scares people off or not.
- 28:38Speaker 1: But putting that aside, there's something called retromancing, which, as
- 28:44Speaker 1: I understand it is just is peeling it back to
- 28:46Speaker 1: the basics of what romance was in the movies or
- 28:49Speaker 1: in TV back in the day, right.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Sysy exactly. I think homemade meals instead of making dinner reservations,
- 28:58Speaker 2: more like actually writing like with like handwriting love notes
- 29:02Speaker 2: versus texting or versus big like over the top gifts.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Like the sentimental stuff is what's really driving this whole
- 29:11Speaker 2: retromancing theme.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Now, this is they refer to Friends episodes. Yeah, you know,
- 29:16Speaker 1: people are watching a generation they didn't see it in
- 29:18Speaker 1: first run on TV now watching it and reruns. And
- 29:22Speaker 1: I have to say, there is something to that that
- 29:26Speaker 1: is great. Uh do you have to sort of pick
- 29:29Speaker 1: what you can do? I mean, look, tell me what
- 29:32Speaker 1: you think. Okay, I haven't done this yet, but tell
- 29:34Speaker 1: me what you think. Okay, I meet somebody, I invite
- 29:39Speaker 1: her over for dinner. Now, I might order in. I
- 29:41Speaker 1: might not cook. I might order in. I might have
- 29:45Speaker 1: something that's ready. I'm I have a panic attack when
- 29:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to actually cook and talk and you know,
- 29:52Speaker 1: be like be datable. So I have anxiety over that.
- 29:56Speaker 1: So the food might happen at home, candles are lit,
- 29:58Speaker 1: music's playing. Then after dinner, I want to know what
- 30:01Speaker 1: I'm thinking I should do after dinner. I want to know,
- 30:04Speaker 1: play Vinyl.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Yes, I love that. Play Vinyl, like turn on a
- 30:08Speaker 2: record that's very retro?
- 30:11Speaker 1: Would that be cool?
- 30:12Speaker 4: Like?
- 30:12Speaker 1: Would that be cool?
- 30:13Speaker 2: I think so. Yes, Vinyls are in.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, I want to go. I don't know how
- 30:18Speaker 1: you say.
- 30:19Speaker 2: It, or say I don't say anything. Just start playing
- 30:21Speaker 2: the music.
- 30:23Speaker 1: I'll be right back. What are you going to do? Change? No,
- 30:26Speaker 1: I'll be right packers.
- 30:27Speaker 2: You can play vinyl and drop No, no, don't say that.
- 30:29Speaker 1: You on the record strong, Raquela. You don't like that.
- 30:37Speaker 2: It was just funny how you said it. But I
- 30:38Speaker 2: have a record player. I love vinyls, so yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 1: I think it's a I think it's a retro romance move.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 1: By the way, they don't last song those records. You
- 30:46Speaker 1: gotta flip that thing. Yes, Oh man, you know I
- 30:52Speaker 1: love it when stuff happens in a while and we
- 30:55Speaker 1: can get into it. Tanya was just telling me we're
- 30:59Speaker 1: gonna not talk about what we were going to talk
- 31:01Speaker 1: about and talk about you, Tannia, because you were just
- 31:03Speaker 1: telling me here this morning I Kiss FM that you
- 31:05Speaker 1: were going to bind and you had to pick up
- 31:08Speaker 1: Sonny's poop with your bare hands?
- 31:09Speaker 2: No, yeah, I mean was there.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Bare hands or with a piece of paper in between
- 31:14Speaker 1: your bare hands.
- 31:15Speaker 5: I had absolutely nothing in my bag, and my dog
- 31:20Speaker 5: goes once a day, and she already had her once
- 31:22Speaker 5: the day, so I didn't even think. And I was
- 31:24Speaker 5: running errands and I could have been on sunset and
- 31:26Speaker 5: vine like that's how many people were around me. So
- 31:29Speaker 5: when she went, I was like, oh my gosh, everybody's
- 31:31Speaker 5: looking at me to pick this up, and I have
- 31:33Speaker 5: nothing to pick it up with. So I went down
- 31:36Speaker 5: with my bare hands and I threw it in the gutter.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I didn't know what to do.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Take her fingernails, look at her finger.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Like, you couldn't find a leaf. I've done a leaf.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Yes, there you go. That's what I want to talk about, Tanya.
- 31:51Speaker 1: You need to be aware of your surroundings. There's always
- 31:54Speaker 1: something you can My guy, there.
- 31:56Speaker 5: Was nothing, and there was people watching me, like I
- 31:58Speaker 5: could feel everybody as the.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Body for a tissue. Anybody. If there were so many people,
- 32:03Speaker 2: does anyone have a bath?
- 32:04Speaker 1: If you're a Coachella with all of these people watching you. Now,
- 32:10Speaker 1: that also makes me think, huh, if people weren't watching you,
- 32:14Speaker 1: would you've left it there?
- 32:15Speaker 2: Yeah, she would have left it.
- 32:16Speaker 5: If people were not around, I probably would have left it.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Okay, Now you had nothing on you, how did you
- 32:23Speaker 1: get your hands clean?
- 32:24Speaker 5: So where I was, I knew exactly where the closest
- 32:26Speaker 5: bathroom was. It was like three blocks from where I was.
- 32:30Speaker 5: I walked straight to the nearest bathroom and wash my hands.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Everybody knows this, Tanya. You should never throw dog poop
- 32:37Speaker 1: in a gutter because it washes untreated into storm drains,
- 32:41Speaker 1: polluting local waterways, arming aquatic life, and posing health risk
- 32:44Speaker 1: to people and other pets like mine. So watch your stuff.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Everybody knows that.
- 32:51Speaker 2: No, not that I could see it. Guys, I don't
- 32:52Speaker 2: think you understand.
- 32:53Speaker 5: It was panicked and I normally always pickup I pick
- 32:55Speaker 5: up my dog's poop.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Except so you threw to the gutter. To not poison
- 33:02Speaker 1: all of us. You need to save yourself.
- 33:05Speaker 2: It's very stressful.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Sage yourself today, sage yourself. TISFM Cynthia is on the line,
- 33:13Speaker 1: So we're going to talk to her now about your
- 33:15Speaker 1: mother in law giving you a family secret. Why did
- 33:18Speaker 1: she tell you this secret?
- 33:21Speaker 10: Well, at the time she was really quite drunk, honestly,
- 33:26Speaker 10: and she is always confiding in me and we are close.
- 33:31Speaker 10: But I've just been really struggling with what she told me.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Well, look, it's a blessing that she feels so close
- 33:37Speaker 1: to you to confide in you. What was the secret?
- 33:41Speaker 10: So she told me that her husband cheated on her
- 33:45Speaker 10: when the kids were younger, and that they almost divorced
- 33:49Speaker 10: but ended up staying in the relationship.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Your husband, Yes, so.
- 33:56Speaker 10: My father in law, my husband's dad cheated and his
- 34:00Speaker 10: mom when the kids were really young. They almost got divorced.
- 34:03Speaker 10: Obviously they've stayed in the relationship though, because they're still together.
- 34:07Speaker 10: But I don't know if I tell my husband that
- 34:11Speaker 10: is dad cheated on his mom, Like I just would
- 34:14Speaker 10: you say something? Or would you just keep this to yourself?
- 34:18Speaker 1: You keep it to yourself. Why in the world would
