Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / Mega Edition: Ghislaine Maxwell Looks To Move Jurisdiction's In A Civil Suit (10/31/26)
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: We're going to talk about Ghislaine Maxwell and her ridiculous
- 0:03Speaker 1: request to get the civil suit between her and Annie
- 0:06Speaker 1: Farmer moved from New York to New Mexico. Now, everybody
- 0:12Speaker 1: who listens to this podcast, even with just a little
- 0:15Speaker 1: bit of regularity, understands that I have zero faith in
- 0:19Speaker 1: the Southern District of New York at this point. Well,
- 0:22Speaker 1: I have even less faith in New Mexico doing the
- 0:26Speaker 1: right thing. When I was there, just in February down
- 0:30Speaker 1: at Zorro Ranch, the stuff that I heard from the
- 0:34Speaker 1: sources that I was talking to down there, the ex-law
- 0:37Speaker 1: enforcement source especially, it blew my mind with how ridiculous
- 0:42Speaker 1: things were down there and how corrupt things were. And
- 0:47Speaker 1: you know all of the players down there. We know
- 0:49Speaker 1: the King family who Epstein purchased the ranch from, the
- 0:52Speaker 1: land for the ranch. We know that they were their
- 0:56Speaker 1: political royalty in New Mexico. We know about Bill Richardson.
- 0:59Speaker 1: We know that he spread money around all over the
- 1:02Speaker 1: place when it comes to local politics. But we also
- 1:05Speaker 1: know that he chose New Mexico for other reasons, such
- 1:08Speaker 1: as their lax laws when it comes to crimes such
- 1:11Speaker 1: as these, such as the statute of limitations on laws
- 1:14Speaker 1: such as these. So again, you'll have to always remember
- 1:19Speaker 1: when we're talking about Jeffrey Epstein, we're talking about Ghislaine Maxwell.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Everything is done as part of a plan. None of
- 1:26Speaker 1: this stuff was done willy-nilly. None of this stuff was
- 1:29Speaker 1: done spur of the moment. That's not how people like
- 1:33Speaker 1: this operate. People who are successful as assets, people who
- 1:37Speaker 1: are successful as intelligence sources conduct themselves a certain way.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And these weren't just your run-of-the-mill assets. These weren't assets
- 1:46Speaker 1: that were turned on a battlefield or these weren't assets
- 1:49Speaker 1: that were being blackmailed. These were assets that were part
- 1:53Speaker 1: of the machine. These were agents. And when you have
- 1:59Speaker 1: people like this, people who understand spycraft and people who
- 2:03Speaker 1: understand how to make moves under the radar and how
- 2:06Speaker 1: to manipulate this system so that it conforms to their ideals, well,
- 2:12Speaker 1: you have some dangerous people, folks. And that's what we
- 2:15Speaker 1: were dealing with with Jeffrey Epstein and we're still dealing
- 2:17Speaker 1: with with Ghislaine Maxwell. There's a reason the trust, the
- 2:21Speaker 1: 1953 trust of Jeffrey Epstein was done in the Virgin Islands.
- 2:25Speaker 1: And there's a reason that Zorro Ranch was done and
- 2:28Speaker 1: located in New Mexico. And I should say, there's more
- 2:34Speaker 1: than one reason, honestly, with New Mexico, in my opinion.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And we've went over a lot of that stuff here.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I've talked about New Mexico a whole lot here on
- 2:42Speaker 1: this podcast, especially considering I had the trip down there.
- 2:46Speaker 1: But I told you all then, and I stand by
- 2:48Speaker 1: it now. There is a story still to be told
- 2:51Speaker 1: out of New Mexico, and we have only scratched the
- 2:54Speaker 1: surface down there. Let's remember, Zorro Ranch still has not
- 2:59Speaker 1: been raided. Now, I've said on the podcast here several
- 3:04Speaker 1: times that I did not believe that Ghislaine Maxwell is
- 3:07Speaker 1: in America. I thought that that would be almost impossible
- 3:10Speaker 1: at this point, considering the private investigators that are looking
- 3:13Speaker 1: for her, etc., etc. I figured that she would be
- 3:17Speaker 1: hiding somewhere else. But in this article tonight, they bring
- 3:21Speaker 1: up the question, is Ghislaine Maxwell hiding out at Zorro Ranch?
- 3:25Speaker 1: And I've had some people email me and ask me that,
- 3:28Speaker 1: what my opinion was of that. And I, you know,
- 3:31Speaker 1: to be honest with you, my gut says no, but
- 3:34Speaker 1: these people love to hide in plain sight, right? They've
- 3:37Speaker 1: been brazen with their operations and their activity from the
- 3:40Speaker 1: very beginning, throwing it in civilizations and I should say
- 3:44Speaker 1: society's face because these people don't care. They believe... That
- 3:49Speaker 1: with the power of their friends in the media and
- 3:52Speaker 1: the enormous wealth that they have, that they'll be able
- 3:55Speaker 1: to control the narrative and turn it whichever way that
- 3:58Speaker 1: they deem fit. Now, that's over. They can't do that
- 4:04Speaker 1: anymore because information is coming fast and furious from several locations.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But we have to remember the people we're dealing with here, folks.
- 4:12Speaker 1: We have to remember just how devious they are. And
- 4:16Speaker 1: we have to remember the company that they kept. I mean,
- 4:19Speaker 1: these people were hanging out with guys like Ehud Barak.
- 4:26Speaker 1: We know who he was. We know what his background is.
- 4:29Speaker 1: And we know that he's a serious player when it
- 4:31Speaker 1: comes to Israeli intelligence and military. And we also know
- 4:35Speaker 1: that Jeffrey Epstein was locked in with the intelligence agency
- 4:39Speaker 1: here in America, considering what Acosta said on record to
- 4:43Speaker 1: the Trump transition team. Now you add all of that
- 4:46Speaker 1: up and you understand that these aren't your run-of-the-mill child traffickers, coyotes,
- 4:52Speaker 1: or people that came up with some harebrained idea that
- 4:55Speaker 1: they're going to start a brothel. This is way more
- 4:58Speaker 1: elaborate than all of that. This is way, way, way
- 5:03Speaker 1: more elaborate than all of that. This is not just
- 5:05Speaker 1: a trafficking ring. It is that, obviously. But there was
- 5:09Speaker 1: a lot of other layers here. There were a lot
- 5:11Speaker 1: of financial crimes going on. And like I've said from...
- 5:15Speaker 1: for a long time now, in my humble opinion, a
- 5:18Speaker 1: ton of espionage and a ton of scientific secrets being
- 5:22Speaker 1: passed off to Lord knows who. I don't have direct
- 5:25Speaker 1: evidence saying where this stuff ended up, so I'll never
- 5:29Speaker 1: come on here and state for a fact, oh, it
- 5:31Speaker 1: ended up in this person's hands. But I will tell
- 5:34Speaker 1: you this, it certainly ended up with people who should
- 5:37Speaker 1: not have had it, in my opinion. There's no doubt
- 5:40Speaker 1: that Epstein was passing on information from these scientific projects
- 5:44Speaker 1: to whoever his handlers were. And we can go on
- 5:48Speaker 1: for days and speculate about just exactly who those people were.
- 5:51Speaker 1: But it is obvious to me that Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell,
- 5:58Speaker 1: and this whole entire operation was not a run-of-the-mill child
- 6:03Speaker 1: trafficking organization or just trafficking organization. This was much, much,
- 6:08Speaker 1: much more It was way, way refined. It was almost
- 6:14Speaker 1: like they had a blueprint to build a home and
- 6:17Speaker 1: went in and followed that blueprint perfectly. And when you're
- 6:21Speaker 1: dealing with the people that these people were dealing with,
- 6:25Speaker 1: talking about whoever their handlers were, you know that these
- 6:29Speaker 1: are serious people and these are people who always have
- 6:32Speaker 1: some sort of a plan wrapped within a plan and
- 6:36Speaker 1: contingency plans, et cetera, et cetera. That's the way they operate.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So when everything's rolling smooth for them, when they have
- 6:45Speaker 1: everything going correctly, when they have their ducks in a row,
- 6:48Speaker 1: it is almost impossible to air them out because of
- 6:51Speaker 1: the cover that is laid by their lapdogs in the
- 6:54Speaker 1: legacy media and the fact that people are so gaslit
- 6:57Speaker 1: that they still to this day believe the legacy media
- 7:01Speaker 1: when they're running bullshit at them. And look, this isn't
- 7:04Speaker 1: a Trump thing for me either when I say this,
- 7:06Speaker 1: by the way, folks. So don't get it twisted. I
- 7:08Speaker 1: am not a fan of Trump. And to be honest
- 7:11Speaker 1: with you, I'm not a fan of any politician at
- 7:13Speaker 1: this point in this country. But what the FBI and
- 7:17Speaker 1: James Comey and the FISA abuses, all of that stuff,
- 7:21Speaker 1: that all goes hand in hand with what we talk
- 7:23Speaker 1: about here with the rampant corruption in our intelligence agencies.
- 7:29Speaker 1: If they're brazen enough to try to pull that off,
- 7:32Speaker 1: you know that they don't give a shit about trying
- 7:34Speaker 1: to put you or I in jail, right? They don't
- 7:36Speaker 1: give a damn about any of us. So my problem
- 7:41Speaker 1: is with any sort of out-of-control intelligence agency, I'm going
- 7:45Speaker 1: to speak up about it when I see them acting incorrectly.
- 7:49Speaker 1: And there's plenty of ways to slam Trump. And there
- 7:54Speaker 1: were plenty of correct routes to go. The financials from
- 7:57Speaker 1: Deutsche Bank, etc., etc. There were plenty of correct routes
- 8:00Speaker 1: that they could have went and they could have looked
- 8:02Speaker 1: to expose him for being involved in criminalistic activity. But instead...
- 8:08Speaker 1: They chose to attempt to create this whole entire fiasco.
- 8:15Speaker 1: And people bought it. And all of the people that
- 8:18Speaker 1: bought it, they're so disappointed at this point. about the
- 8:24Speaker 1: outcome that they're not willing to believe that they were
- 8:28Speaker 1: gaslit or that the FBI or the intelligence agencies are
- 8:33Speaker 1: so devious that they would do this. Folks, they would.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And I don't blame people for being gaslit because as
- 8:38Speaker 1: I've explained previously, I've been gaslit myself before during the
- 8:43Speaker 1: Iraq war. I totally bought into all of that sorry ass,
- 8:49Speaker 1: weak ass, false sense of patriotism that they were pushing
- 8:53Speaker 1: on us. Not understanding that I was being gaslit and
- 8:58Speaker 1: dog walked the whole entire time. But after that happened,
- 9:01Speaker 1: after I figured it all out and I grew up
- 9:04Speaker 1: a little bit, I had some more life experience, I
- 9:06Speaker 1: promised that I would never be gaslit again by anybody.
- 9:10Speaker 1: So I see the same thing happening with people over Russia.
- 9:15Speaker 1: There's a lot of people who bought into that at first,
- 9:18Speaker 1: who are totally understanding now that a lot of it
- 9:22Speaker 1: is contrived, made up BS. And it's bad news when
- 9:27Speaker 1: the intelligence agencies are engaging in stuff like this. Because
- 9:31Speaker 1: it is just, it is unchecked power for intelligence agencies
- 9:36Speaker 1: never ends up well for the citizens, ever. And for
- 9:40Speaker 1: more on that, I would always suggest that people check
- 9:43Speaker 1: out the work of Aaron Maté and Glenn Greenwald, because
- 9:46Speaker 1: they're fantastic when it comes to this sort of thing.
- 9:49Speaker 1: And they're certainly not conservatives, folks, or Republicans, and they
- 9:53Speaker 1: do not like Trump. But when you're a journalist and
- 9:56Speaker 1: you're somebody who calls calls things out because. you see
- 10:00Speaker 1: them as they are, then you have to be consistent
- 10:03Speaker 1: about it. And there are certain people, certain investigative journalists
- 10:08Speaker 1: that still do that kind of work. And it's a
- 10:10Speaker 1: good thing, because when you look at the whole entire
- 10:13Speaker 1: picture of our intelligence services and especially you look at
- 10:17Speaker 1: the cover of they gave for Jeffrey Epstein and his
- 10:21Speaker 1: organization for so long, it is mind-numbing, mind-numbing to think
- 10:27Speaker 1: that these people have gotten away with this for as
- 10:30Speaker 1: long as they have gotten away with it. I just, I,
- 10:35Speaker 1: you know, maybe if the FBI wasn't so busy trying
- 10:38Speaker 1: to frame people and trying to play politics and get
- 10:42Speaker 1: involved in nonsense that they really have no business even
- 10:45Speaker 1: being involved in, they could have focused a little bit
- 10:48Speaker 1: more on bringing these scumbags down. And that's another thing
- 10:50Speaker 1: that bothers me. We've had all of these hearings in
- 10:53Speaker 1: front of Congress for all of this stuff about Ukraine,
- 10:55Speaker 1: et cetera, et cetera. Where's the hearings for these girls?
- 10:58Speaker 1: And that's both sides of the aisle, right? Believe me
- 11:01Speaker 1: when I tell you, folks, I have zero love for
- 11:05Speaker 1: any politician at this point. None of them. I don't
- 11:08Speaker 1: support any of them. I don't endorse any of them
- 11:10Speaker 1: for office. And going forward, I highly doubt that I'll
- 11:15Speaker 1: ever endorse another politician ever again as long as I
- 11:17Speaker 1: live because they have all been nothing but pathetic failures,
- 11:21Speaker 1: in my opinion. So... When we see what's going on
- 11:27Speaker 1: with the FBI and we see the way that the
- 11:31Speaker 1: Congress and the Senate has conducted themselves with their petty
- 11:35Speaker 1: tribalism for the past few years, when they could have
- 11:38Speaker 1: been doing real work, they could have convened a hearing
- 11:41Speaker 1: and brought in people and got them under oath in
- 11:43Speaker 1: regards to this Jeffrey Epstein situation. That goes for federal
- 11:47Speaker 1: agents and everybody else in between. But no, they were
- 11:50Speaker 1: too busy screwing off, trying to consolidate their power some more.
- 11:54Speaker 1: And if you want to be skeptical, I mean, if
- 11:56Speaker 1: you want to be a cynic, I mean, well, a
- 11:58Speaker 1: lot of it had to do with the fact that
- 12:00Speaker 1: they didn't want to expose their friends, both sides of
- 12:03Speaker 1: the aisle. Because again, I don't know how many times
- 12:05Speaker 1: I have to say this. There are no good guys
- 12:07Speaker 1: in this case, folks. There are no white knights that
- 12:11Speaker 1: are running to anyone's rescue in this case when it
- 12:15Speaker 1: comes to the government and the officials surrounding this case.
- 12:18Speaker 1: The only people that I will throw that title on
- 12:20Speaker 1: that have been involved in this case are people like
- 12:23Speaker 1: Bradley Edwards and obviously the survivors themselves are legendary. They
- 12:28Speaker 1: have legendary bravery in my opinion. To come forward in
- 12:32Speaker 1: the climate that they came forward in before people were
- 12:36Speaker 1: aware of what was going on, myself included, I've been
- 12:38Speaker 1: awake at the switch for a long time. I had
- 12:41Speaker 1: no idea this sort of thing was occurring. My focuses
- 12:44Speaker 1: were elsewhere. Basically, mainly government corruption. And when you find
- 12:50Speaker 1: out what's really going on, what's truly happening behind the curtain,
- 12:54Speaker 1: the anger and the disappointment you feel for your own
- 12:59Speaker 1: government and for the institutions that you were told were
- 13:04Speaker 1: so honorable and so great and the gaslighting of the
- 13:08Speaker 1: American public and the programming of the American public is just,
- 13:12Speaker 1: it's beyond the pale at this point. and we need
- 13:14Speaker 1: to have some accountability at places like the FBI. There
- 13:18Speaker 1: needs to be accountability at places like the CIA, and
- 13:22Speaker 1: there certainly needs to be accountability for anybody who was
- 13:25Speaker 1: involved with Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell. All right, so
- 13:31Speaker 1: let's jump into this article. This article is from the
- 13:33Speaker 1: Daily Mail, and the headline is, Is Ghislaine Maxwell hiding
- 13:38Speaker 1: out at Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch? New court documents reveal
- 13:42Speaker 1: she's requesting Annie Farmer's civil case be moved to New Mexico,
- 13:46Speaker 1: where the 16-year-old was sexually assaulted. This article was authored
- 13:51Speaker 1: by Cheyenne Roundtree and Karen Ruiz. Jeffrey Epstein's alleged madam, co-conspirator,
- 13:59Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell, has asked a federal judge to move a
- 14:02Speaker 1: civil case brought by one of the pedophile's victims to
- 14:05Speaker 1: New Mexico to according to court papers obtained by DailyMail.com. Well,
- 14:10Speaker 1: not just a victim of Jeffrey Epstein, a victim of
- 14:13Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell, too. Let's remember what she's saying here, and
- 14:16Speaker 1: let's remember that Ghislaine Maxwell was a part of this, right?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Let's not pussyfoot around it. What are they so worried about?
- 14:23Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell suing them? Then she has to end up
- 14:27Speaker 1: at discovery phase, and we know she doesn't want to
- 14:29Speaker 1: be at discovery phase just from her actions alone here.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So people, you know, the publications really need to quit
- 14:36Speaker 1: screwing around with their words and call Ghislaine Maxwell what
- 14:39Speaker 1: she is. It's not like there's one person accusing her
- 14:42Speaker 1: of this either. There are witness upon witness that has
- 14:46Speaker 1: come forward talking about Ghislaine Maxwell and what she did
- 14:50Speaker 1: while she was with Jeffrey Epstein as one of the
- 14:52Speaker 1: heads of that criminal enterprise. Maxwell made the request in
- 14:57Speaker 1: legal papers filed in the Southern District of New York
- 15:00Speaker 1: last Thursday raising new questions about Maxwell's whereabouts. And this
- 15:04Speaker 1: is what I was talking about in the opening statement there.
- 15:08Speaker 1: She could definitely be at Zorro Ranch, right? I can't
- 15:11Speaker 1: say for a fact that she's not. I don't know.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I only got to the gate. When I got to
- 15:16Speaker 1: the gate, there nobody came. I was there for 45 minutes.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I was knocking where the cameras are, hanging out. Nobody
- 15:24Speaker 1: showed up. I didn't see any movement, no activity on
- 15:27Speaker 1: the property whatsoever. I didn't see any cars driving around.
- 15:31Speaker 1: And from where you're at at the front gate, you
- 15:34Speaker 1: get a good look at those buildings. right? Those other
- 15:37Speaker 1: structures for like farmhands and I guess guest houses, et cetera,
- 15:43Speaker 1: et cetera. So I was there for 45 minutes and
- 15:46Speaker 1: I did not see one single person. Now, I didn't
- 15:50Speaker 1: have a view of the main mansion and there's a
- 15:54Speaker 1: lot of talk about the tunnel system below there. So
- 15:57Speaker 1: could Ghislaine Maxwell be at Zorro Ranch? It is quite possible. Look,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'm not going to say no. I don't know one
- 16:05Speaker 1: way or the other for sure, but if I was
- 16:07Speaker 1: going to hide, that would certainly be a place that
- 16:09Speaker 1: I would think about hiding 100%, especially considering the political
- 16:15Speaker 1: protection that was afforded to Jeffrey Epstein there for so long.
- 16:19Speaker 1: You know, it is the type of political protection that
- 16:23Speaker 1: these people love to have in their back pocket as
- 16:26Speaker 1: an ace up the sleeve, because I think Elaine understands
- 16:31Speaker 1: that that the walls are closing in. And even in
- 16:34Speaker 1: a place as corrupt as New York, there is more
- 16:37Speaker 1: justice to be found than there is in New Mexico,
- 16:40Speaker 1: in my opinion, because we know that Zorro Ranch has
- 16:44Speaker 1: still not been raided even. So is she there? I
- 16:49Speaker 1: don't know. Is it possible? For sure. Do I think
- 16:52Speaker 1: it's more possible her being there than some chateau in France?
- 16:56Speaker 1: For sure. When I start to think about it, it
- 17:02Speaker 1: seemed like it would be too obvious at first. But
- 17:04Speaker 1: when I start to think about it, it's quite possible
- 17:07Speaker 1: that she is there. And I don't have, again, I
- 17:10Speaker 1: don't have any evidence that points me that direction, but
- 17:13Speaker 1: it is certainly a possibility that she is at Zorro Ranch.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Considering that property, the more I think about it and
- 17:22Speaker 1: the more I think about how big the place is
- 17:24Speaker 1: and how easy it would be to hide away from
- 17:26Speaker 1: prying eyes, It is quite possible, folks, quite possible. Annie Farmer,
- 17:33Speaker 1: who claims Maxwell and Epstein sexually assaulted her age 16
- 17:36Speaker 1: at the disgraced financier pedophiles' New Mexico ranch, is seeking
- 17:41Speaker 1: damages from Maxwell and Epstein's $ 635 million estate. Yeah, damages
- 17:47Speaker 1: for sure. Back up the Brinks truck. All right, fill
- 17:50Speaker 1: it up with money, back it up, and go and
- 17:52Speaker 1: dump it on Annie's front lawn. That's what she deserves
- 17:55Speaker 1: from these monsters. What happened to Annie is absolutely abhorrent.
- 17:59Speaker 1: What these two animals did, these two monsters did to
- 18:02Speaker 1: this young girl, 16 years old, folks, can you imagine?
- 18:06Speaker 1: Think back to when you were 16. And these two
- 18:10Speaker 1: monsters assaulted her the way they did. And to think
- 18:15Speaker 1: that they would try, Glenn Maxwell would try and get
- 18:18Speaker 1: this case moved to New Mexico. I said just recently,
- 18:25Speaker 1: I was wondering why The New Mexico district attorney didn't
- 18:30Speaker 1: have a case opened in New Mexico. He's been punting
- 18:33Speaker 1: everything to New York. And now, Ghislaine Maxwell and her
- 18:36Speaker 1: legal team are going to try and muddy the waters
- 18:39Speaker 1: some more and start the whole process over by getting
- 18:41Speaker 1: it kicked down to court in New Mexico. I really
- 18:45Speaker 1: hope the judge sees this for what it is. I really, really,
- 18:48Speaker 1: really hope the judge sees this for what it is.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Because guess what? Annie Farmer, all of these ladies, all
- 18:55Speaker 1: of these girls... who were abused and assaulted by Jeffrey Epstein,
- 18:59Speaker 1: should have a Brinks truck back up to their front
- 19:01Speaker 1: lawn and dump bags of money onto their front lawn.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Because even with all that money, even with Epstein's whole
- 19:07Speaker 1: entire fortune going to them, it still is not going
- 19:10Speaker 1: to make up for what happened to them. It still
- 19:12Speaker 1: doesn't fill in those cracks of their life from what
- 19:17Speaker 1: they suffered and how they suffered throughout their youth, their teens,
- 19:21Speaker 1: their best years stolen from them because these monsters were
- 19:25Speaker 1: allowed to operate right under the nose of the pathetic,
- 19:29Speaker 1: weak-ass intelligence services of the United States of America. But
- 19:37Speaker 1: Maxwell argues that Farmer, who is now 40, has brought
- 19:40Speaker 1: up her complaint years too late and it should be
- 19:42Speaker 1: thrown out. No, no. The only thing that should be
- 19:46Speaker 1: thrown out is your request and your freedom, Ghislaine. And
- 19:50Speaker 1: the only requests you should be making are from a
- 19:54Speaker 1: jail cell wearing a jumper. And if me, I drop
- 19:59Speaker 1: your ass off at Guantanamo because you're as foul as
- 20:04Speaker 1: one of these terrorists. You're a disgusting, despicable excuse for
- 20:08Speaker 1: a human being, in my opinion. To bolster her argument,
- 20:13Speaker 1: Maxwell points out that the alleged assault is said to
- 20:15Speaker 1: have occurred in New Mexico, so if the case were
- 20:18Speaker 1: to proceed, it should be transferred there. More games. More gamesmanship.
- 20:24Speaker 1: These people love to play games like this. They love
- 20:27Speaker 1: to make moves like this. They love to muddy the waters.
- 20:30Speaker 1: They love to obfuscate. They love to drag their feet.
- 20:34Speaker 1: And our disgusting-ass justice system is set up perfectly for them.
- 20:39Speaker 1: So they can maneuver their way through loopholes and litigate
- 20:42Speaker 1: cases until normal people can't pay a single dollar more.
- 20:48Speaker 1: But guess what? They ran into their match this time
- 20:50Speaker 1: because Annie's lawyers and the lawyers for the survivors aren't
- 20:54Speaker 1: going to back down. They're not going to be bullied
- 20:56Speaker 1: and they're not going to be intimidated by this sort
- 20:59Speaker 1: of litigation. They're going to stand their ground and they're
- 21:03Speaker 1: going to fight back. And guess what? When all is
- 21:06Speaker 1: said and done, folks, they're going to win. When it
- 21:09Speaker 1: comes to these damages, the Epstein estate is going to
- 21:11Speaker 1: be wiped out, clean wiped out by the damages they
- 21:15Speaker 1: have to pay out. That is my prediction. And I
- 21:17Speaker 1: don't make many of those, by the way. The filing
- 21:22Speaker 1: comes as Maxwell has largely been a ghost since Epstein's
- 21:25Speaker 1: arrest last summer. As questions about where she is continue
- 21:30Speaker 1: to follow the British socialite, co-conspirator, child abuser, et cetera,
- 21:36Speaker 1: et cetera. Not socialite, all right? She's not a socialite anymore.
- 21:40Speaker 1: She lost that title if she ever had it. Maxwell
- 21:43Speaker 1: was seen in public just once since Epstein was arrested
- 21:46Speaker 1: last summer after DailyMail.com exclusively tracked her down to the
- 21:50Speaker 1: small coastal town of Manchester-by-the-Sea in Massachusetts. And I tried
- 21:56Speaker 1: to follow that a little bit further. I have a
- 21:59Speaker 1: couple of friends in Massachusetts, but unfortunately they were never
- 22:01Speaker 1: able to provide me with any sort of concrete leads
- 22:05Speaker 1: about if she was there or not. I know that
- 22:09Speaker 1: the Daily Mail reported that she was, but again, I'm
- 22:12Speaker 1: very skeptical about anything when it comes to Ghislaine Maxwell
- 22:16Speaker 1: and anything short of a documented image at this point.
- 22:20Speaker 1: And I'm going to remain skeptical because when you hold
- 22:24Speaker 1: the keys to the bodies, to where the bodies are buried,
- 22:26Speaker 1: and you know where all the skeletons are buried, well,
- 22:30Speaker 1: you're a very dangerous person for these people. And there
- 22:33Speaker 1: is a lot a lot of gamesmanship going on. So
- 22:40Speaker 1: I'm very skeptical with anything that has to do with
- 22:42Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell. She had been staying at the home of
- 22:46Speaker 1: her boyfriend. Her sister, who lives in Texas, was later
- 22:49Speaker 1: seen in the area packing up bags. So was she
- 22:54Speaker 1: there or was it a game they were playing? A
- 22:56Speaker 1: more throw-you-off-the-scent kind of game. I don't know, one way
- 23:00Speaker 1: or the other, she might have been there, right? She
- 23:02Speaker 1: might have been there. But me, I'm going to remain
- 23:05Speaker 1: skeptical when we're dealing with this disgusting, vile woman. But
- 23:10Speaker 1: an image was released of Maxwell in California eating at
- 23:13Speaker 1: an In-N-Out location shortly after DailyMail.com revealed that she had
- 23:17Speaker 1: been staying in Massachusetts. There you go. See what I mean?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Always games. There's always a plan wrapped within a plan,
- 23:24Speaker 1: wrapped within a plot with these people. And if you're
- 23:27Speaker 1: not reading between the lines, if you're not looking four
- 23:30Speaker 1: moves ahead while you're playing chess against them, you will
- 23:33Speaker 1: be obliterated. Because while you're playing checkers, these people are
- 23:37Speaker 1: playing 4D chess. Ever since Maxwell's whereabouts have been largely unknown,
- 23:44Speaker 1: but she had spent long periods of time at Epstein's
- 23:46Speaker 1: Zorro Ranch during their years together. Farmersuit claims that in
- 23:50Speaker 1: the spring of 1996, Maxwell touched Farmer's intimate parts against
- 23:55Speaker 1: her will during a massage at Epstein's ranch and exposed
- 23:58Speaker 1: her breasts to Farmer. Remember, Annie was 16 years old
- 24:03Speaker 1: when this happened. A 16-year-old girl that was at this ranch.
- 24:10Speaker 1: And these people... abused her the way they did, they
- 24:13Speaker 1: assaulted her the way they did, and Ghislaine Maxwell has
- 24:17Speaker 1: the audacity to request anything from the court system? She
- 24:21Speaker 1: has the audacity to try and get this case kicked
- 24:24Speaker 1: to New Mexico? Furthermore, we could alleviate all of that
- 24:31Speaker 1: real quick, Mr. Berman, by slapping her with federal RICO charges.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Then it falls under the federal umbrella, where the charges
- 24:42Speaker 1: are much more severe. Why that has not occurred yet, folks,
- 24:47Speaker 1: I do not have the answer for you. But I
- 24:50Speaker 1: will tell you this. If they drop a RICO charge
- 24:53Speaker 1: on her, this will end all of the BS that
- 24:56Speaker 1: we're seeing from Ghislaine Maxwell and her defense team. In
- 25:01Speaker 1: court papers from last week, Maxwell's lawyer states that Farmer's
- 25:04Speaker 1: complaint is years too late, lacks the required specificity, and
- 25:09Speaker 1: is filed in the wrong court. Again, not that it
- 25:11Speaker 1: didn't happen. It's never that it didn't happen because Ghislaine
- 25:15Speaker 1: Maxwell knows damn sure that this happened. She knows that
- 25:19Speaker 1: this happened and she knows that Annie is telling the truth.
- 25:21Speaker 1: And she knows that Annie and Maria have both been
- 25:23Speaker 1: telling the truth since the very beginning. The filing adds,
- 25:30Speaker 1: it describes events that allegedly occurred nearly three decades ago,
- 25:34Speaker 1: and it details alleged conduct by Mr. Epstein while referring
- 25:37Speaker 1: to Ms. Maxwell as an afterthought. When the complaint does
- 25:41Speaker 1: allege conduct by Ms. Maxwell, it alleges conduct that occurred
- 25:44Speaker 1: in New Mexico, not New York. This court, therefore, should
- 25:48Speaker 1: dismiss the complaint or transfer the case against Ms. Maxwell
- 25:52Speaker 1: to the District of New Mexico. And both of those
- 25:54Speaker 1: would be a huge win for Ghislaine Maxwell. A huge win.
- 25:58Speaker 1: for Ghislaine Maxwell, considering the lax laws in New Mexico
- 26:02Speaker 1: and considering that the process would have to start all
- 26:05Speaker 1: over once again. Why in the world would any judge
- 26:10Speaker 1: agree to this? Why in the world would her defense
- 26:14Speaker 1: team even try this move? There is zero doubt in
- 26:17Speaker 1: my mind that the judge is going to laugh at
- 26:19Speaker 1: this request. Considering the judge has had to chase her
- 26:22Speaker 1: down so many times in this case, considering she had
- 26:25Speaker 1: to get served via email, I highly doubt that the
- 26:28Speaker 1: judge is going to be wanting to deal with any
- 26:32Speaker 1: of Ghislaine Maxwell's BS. Highly doubt it. Maxwell's lawyer states
- 26:38Speaker 1: that Farmer's 1996 claims expired sometime in 1999 because New
- 26:44Speaker 1: Mexico has a three-year statute of limitations for personal injury
- 26:49Speaker 1: actions and minors who have one year from reaching the
- 26:52Speaker 1: age of majority to begin such an action. Again, he
- 26:56Speaker 1: didn't choose New Mexico just because. Very carefully... chose New
- 27:01Speaker 1: Mexico because of their laws when it comes to things
- 27:03Speaker 1: like this. Because of their law when it comes to
- 27:06Speaker 1: the age of consent. They chose New Mexico for a
- 27:09Speaker 1: reason and the story in New Mexico has yet to
- 27:14Speaker 1: be told. The full story has yet to be told, folks.
- 27:18Speaker 1: And that's something I'm going to keep working towards. I
- 27:20Speaker 1: want to get to the bottom of what went down
- 27:23Speaker 1: in New Mexico. I really would love to know the
- 27:26Speaker 1: whole story. And if there are other sources out there,
- 27:29Speaker 1: people that have knowledge of what cracked off in New Mexico,
- 27:33Speaker 1: feel free to reach out to me. I'm only a
- 27:35Speaker 1: few hour flight away. I can always fly back down
- 27:38Speaker 1: and sit down and talk with you folks. So believe me,
- 27:41Speaker 1: I am open to that. If security, you know, people
- 27:44Speaker 1: are worried about emails, etc., etc., no problem. I could
- 27:48Speaker 1: fly down and we could speak face to face like
- 27:50Speaker 1: I did the last time with some of my sources
- 27:52Speaker 1: because it's that serious what happened down in New Mexico.
- 27:55Speaker 1: It warrants me disrupting my life and flying down there
- 27:59Speaker 1: again if that's the case, because there is a lot
- 28:03Speaker 1: to be told at Zorro Ranch and in New Mexico,
- 28:07Speaker 1: and I feel like it's crucial for the rest of
- 28:09Speaker 1: the case and for justice to truly be served that
- 28:14Speaker 1: the story from New Mexico comes to light. Five days
- 28:19Speaker 1: after requesting to move the case to New Mexico, Maxwell's attorney,
- 28:22Speaker 1: Laura Menninger, asked to delay Farmer's case. saying it could
- 28:26Speaker 1: interfere with the ongoing criminal case against the British socialite,
- 28:30Speaker 1: aka co-conspirator. The 58-year-old is also under investigation by federal
- 28:39Speaker 1: prosecutors in New York after she was accused of recruiting
- 28:43Speaker 1: and grooming underage girls for Epstein. In a letter sent
- 28:47Speaker 1: to a federal judge, Menninger argued Maxwell's deposition in Farmer's
- 28:50Speaker 1: Suit could implicate her in the ongoing criminal case. So
- 28:55Speaker 1: she basically confirms that she's under investigation as a co-conspirator.
- 28:59Speaker 1: That's a good thing. So what I will say about
- 29:02Speaker 1: that is, there's a little ray of sunshine, right? But again...
- 29:07Speaker 1: What's Berman waiting for? The evidence is all there. Swoop
- 29:11Speaker 1: her up. Make her life difficult. Make it hard on
- 29:13Speaker 1: her to defend herself. Make it flip it around because
- 29:17Speaker 1: the federal government's the best at that. They will litigate
- 29:20Speaker 1: you into the poverty house. You will be so poor
- 29:23Speaker 1: that you'll be begging for money on the streets when
- 29:26Speaker 1: you're done litigating against the federal government. The U.S. Attorney's
- 29:32Speaker 1: Office in the Southern District of New York has publicly
- 29:34Speaker 1: and repeatedly announced its ongoing criminal investigation into alleged Epstein crimes.
- 29:40Speaker 1: on the same topic as Farmer alleges in this case,
- 29:44Speaker 1: Menninger said. Denial of a stay, particularly a stay of Ms.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Maxwell's deposition pending outcome of the criminal investigation, could impair
- 29:54Speaker 1: her Fifth Amendment privilege, against self-incrimination, extend criminal discovery, expose
- 29:59Speaker 1: the defense's theory to the prosecution in advance of trial,
- 30:03Speaker 1: or otherwise prejudice the criminal case. Nobody cares. Nobody cares.
- 30:09Speaker 1: And guess what? That's all legalese. None of that's even
- 30:12Speaker 1: true in my opinion. Again, I'm not a lawyer, but
- 30:14Speaker 1: I'm sure that Annie's lawyers are going to dismantle that
- 30:18Speaker 1: whole entire line of thinking, one, two, three, easy peasy style,
- 30:22Speaker 1: because it just seems absurd on its face. Farmer's lawyer
- 30:26Speaker 1: David Boies responded to the request on Monday, calling it
- 30:30Speaker 1: meritless and another attempt to unjustifiably delay this litigation. He
- 30:34Speaker 1: also argued Maxwell has not provided enough information on the
- 30:37Speaker 1: criminal probe or her relation to it to ask for
- 30:41Speaker 1: a delay in her deposition. Maxwell therefore cannot use the
- 30:45Speaker 1: existence of a criminal investigation to dodge her discovery obligations
- 30:49Speaker 1: in this matter, particularly while at the same time refusing
- 30:53Speaker 1: to provide any details or reasons as to why the
- 30:56Speaker 1: investigation is a reason to stay the action, he wrote.
- 31:01Speaker 1: So Boies is saying the same thing. David Boies is
- 31:03Speaker 1: saying this is just more of an attempt for her
- 31:06Speaker 1: to drag her feet, for her to delay things in
- 31:08Speaker 1: this case, and for her to try and buy more time.
- 31:12Speaker 1: For whatever reason, I don't know. But again, I don't
- 31:15Speaker 1: think she does anything without having a plan. So she's
- 31:19Speaker 1: delaying for a reason, folks. What that reason is, I
- 31:23Speaker 1: don't know. The lawsuit is just one of several civil
- 31:27Speaker 1: cases that has been launched by Epstein survivors following his
- 31:30Speaker 1: death last year. Maxwell, meanwhile, has managed to lay low
- 31:34Speaker 1: and is believed to be in hiding as the FBI's
- 31:36Speaker 1: net closes around Epstein's circle. Okay, that's all fine and well,
- 31:41Speaker 1: but it is... Is it really happening? We don't have
- 31:44Speaker 1: any arrests. We haven't seen any warrants issued. All we
- 31:48Speaker 1: have are two people facing felonies, and those are the
- 31:51Speaker 1: people that were in charge of guarding Epstein on the
- 31:53Speaker 1: night he allegedly killed himself. So, I want to believe
- 31:57Speaker 1: that the net's closing in, and I want to believe
- 32:00Speaker 1: that the SDNY is starting to put things into motion,
- 32:03Speaker 1: but until I see that with my own eyes and
- 32:05Speaker 1: evidence of it, I will remain skeptical. In March, she
- 32:10Speaker 1: sued Epstein's estate, claiming she knew nothing about his sex crimes.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Maxwell is seeking compensation for legal fees and security costs
- 32:17Speaker 1: incurred by her association with Epstein, who committed suicide in
- 32:21Speaker 1: prison last year, allegedly. And what she's really trying to
- 32:25Speaker 1: do is, in my opinion, she fired that shot over
- 32:29Speaker 1: the bow and she's letting Khan and Indyk know the story.
- 32:32Speaker 1: She's letting them know the deal. That if she goes down,
- 32:34Speaker 1: the whole entire operation is going down in flames with her.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Because if you think that Ghislaine Maxwell... has any sort
- 32:41Speaker 1: of loyalty to Darren Kahn and Indyk. There is, excuse me,
- 32:45Speaker 1: Richard Kahn and Darren Indyk. If you think she has
- 32:48Speaker 1: any loyalty to these people, you are sadly mistaken. She
- 32:51Speaker 1: has no loyalty to anybody. She might have had some
- 32:54Speaker 1: loyalty to Jeffrey Epstein, but she does not have any
- 32:56Speaker 1: loyalty to anyone left in this organization. Everybody below her
- 33:01Speaker 1: was a pawn and people like Indyk and Kahn, well,
- 33:05Speaker 1: they were just necessary for operations to continue. She doesn't
- 33:09Speaker 1: care about them. She doesn't care about Vickers. The only
- 33:12Speaker 1: person that she might, she might care about as far
- 33:15Speaker 1: as friendship goes is Andrew, and I don't believe that
- 33:19Speaker 1: for a minute either. I don't think that people like
- 33:21Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell are capable of having any sort of real friendships.
- 33:26Speaker 1: I think sociopaths like that are incapable of any sort
- 33:30Speaker 1: of real connection with other people that could be called friendships.
- 33:39Speaker 1: This case cannot be allowed to be kicked to New Mexico.
- 33:42Speaker 1: The judge must put their foot down. The judge must
- 33:44Speaker 1: tell Maxwell to pound sand. And this case must continue
- 33:48Speaker 1: to go on. And we must go to discovery phase.
- 33:52Speaker 1: And all of the cards at that point will be
- 33:55Speaker 1: laid on the table. And Ghislaine Maxwell will be proven
- 33:59Speaker 1: once and for all, in my opinion, to be the vile,
- 34:04Speaker 1: disgusting human being we all know that she is. If
- 34:09Speaker 1: you'd like to contact me, you can do that at
- 34:11Speaker 1: BobbyCapucci at ProtonMail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at ProtonMail.com. You can also
- 34:19Speaker 1: find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I. You can
- 34:25Speaker 1: also find the info... Civil lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell that
- 34:29Speaker 1: was being brought by Jane Doe and her lawyer, Mr. Glassman,
- 34:35Speaker 1: has been put on hold by Judge Deborah Freeman... after
- 34:39Speaker 1: the prosecutors in the criminal case asked for that to occur. Now,
- 34:45Speaker 1: they're saying that the civil case is running concurrently with
- 34:51Speaker 1: the criminal case, and information from the civil case is
- 34:57Speaker 1: also going to be in the criminal case. So they
- 35:01Speaker 1: didn't want to take the risk of the criminal case
- 35:05Speaker 1: being jeopardized by some of the information that comes out
- 35:10Speaker 1: in the civil case. Now, that doesn't mean that this
- 35:15Speaker 1: civil case is done, right? That's not what happened here.
- 35:19Speaker 1: The judge didn't end the case. She put it on
- 35:22Speaker 1: hold while the criminal case works its way through the courts.
- 35:28Speaker 1: So this was expected. We talked about this on the podcast.
- 35:32Speaker 1: I expected this to be the case with the criminal
- 35:36Speaker 1: case running at the same time as this civil case.
- 35:39Speaker 1: And they're having all that overlap. I thought that the
- 35:44Speaker 1: criminal case would take precedence to the civil case. And
- 35:49Speaker 1: that is the ruling that the judge put forward. So
- 35:53Speaker 1: we're going to jump into this article from ABC News.
- 35:56Speaker 1: And take a look at what Judge Deborah Freeman said
- 36:00Speaker 1: about this case. This article was published at abcnews.go.com. The headline,
- 36:09Speaker 1: Judge Puts Civil Lawsuit Against Ghislaine Maxwell on Hold. To
- 36:13Speaker 1: continue would adversely affect the criminal prosecution, they argued. The
- 36:18Speaker 1: author of this article is James Hill. A federal magistrate
- 36:24Speaker 1: judge overseeing the only active civil lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell
- 36:28Speaker 1: and the estate of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has ordered
- 36:32Speaker 1: a temporary hold on the case until Maxwell's criminal case
- 36:36Speaker 1: is complete. Finding that Maxwell's right to a fair trial
- 36:40Speaker 1: outweighed the alleged survivor's pursuit of a timely resolution of
- 36:45Speaker 1: her claims. Well, right in the first paragraph, we're off
- 36:48Speaker 1: to a bad start. Because we know that Jennifer Arreaz
- 36:52Speaker 1: just filed a civil suit against Ghislaine Maxwell in the
- 36:56Speaker 1: Manhattan Supreme Court. We just read about that. And it's
- 37:00Speaker 1: not even mentioned here in this first paragraph. So not
- 37:03Speaker 1: off to a great start. Should discovery in the civil
- 37:08Speaker 1: action proceed, Maxwell would be forced to decide whether to
- 37:11Speaker 1: defend herself by making pretrial disclosures and giving deposition testimony
- 37:17Speaker 1: or to invoke her Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination, wrote U.S.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Magistrate Judge Deborah Freeman in her order this week. This
- 37:26Speaker 1: legitimate concern, made more real and immediate by the active
- 37:30Speaker 1: posture of the criminal case... Militates in favor of a stay.
- 37:35Speaker 1: And as shitty as it is, as much as I
- 37:38Speaker 1: want to see all of these go to discovery and
- 37:43Speaker 1: trial and all of that, I think that the criminal
- 37:47Speaker 1: case most certainly is the most important case right now.
- 37:52Speaker 1: And also, I think that if and when Ghislaine Maxwell
- 37:56Speaker 1: is found guilty, it's going to really strengthen this civil
- 37:59Speaker 1: case moving forward as well, right? because now the courts
- 38:02Speaker 1: have already found her guilty, I would have a hard
- 38:05Speaker 1: time believing that a jury would not be awarding mega
- 38:09Speaker 1: bucks to somebody who brings the case against Maxwell, right?
- 38:14Speaker 1: So I understand that Jane Doe here wants to press
- 38:20Speaker 1: forward with her claim, but also at the same time,
- 38:24Speaker 1: we have to remember that it looks like her allegations
- 38:28Speaker 1: here Jane Doe's from the civil case are also being
- 38:33Speaker 1: used in that criminal case. So it's not your typical situation, right?
- 38:38Speaker 1: And it's one of those situations where I think that
- 38:41Speaker 1: the criminal case must be put a rung above at
- 38:45Speaker 1: this point. Federal prosecutors had asked Freeman earlier this month
- 38:53Speaker 1: to halt proceedings in the lawsuit, which was filed in
- 38:56Speaker 1: January by an alleged child sex abuse survivor against Maxwell
- 39:00Speaker 1: and Epstein's estate. Prosecutors told the judge that there is
- 39:04Speaker 1: a significant risk that proceeding with the case would adversely
- 39:07Speaker 1: affect the ongoing criminal prosecution against Maxwell. And now remember
- 39:12Speaker 1: what we always talk about. These people like Elaine Maxwell,
- 39:16Speaker 1: she's not up there to argue her innocence, right? She's
- 39:19Speaker 1: looking for loopholes. She's looking for technicalities. And if you
- 39:25Speaker 1: run both of these cases concurrently, you're going to give
- 39:28Speaker 1: her law team a... the ability to exploit loopholes or
- 39:33Speaker 1: technicalities and get her off of those criminal charges perhaps
- 39:37Speaker 1: and i don't think anybody wants to see that In
- 39:41Speaker 1: a letter from Audrey Strauss, the acting U.S. attorney for
- 39:44Speaker 1: the Southern District of New York, prosecutors asserted that there
- 39:48Speaker 1: is a factual overlap between the civil and criminal cases
- 39:52Speaker 1: that could result in a premature disclosure of evidence and
- 39:55Speaker 1: testimony from witnesses who may be called upon in both cases.
- 40:00Speaker 1: And that's exactly what I was just talking about. The
- 40:03Speaker 1: overlap from these cases is obvious, and it's obvious that
- 40:07Speaker 1: Jane Doe and her allegations are one of the allegations...
- 40:11Speaker 1: being prosecuted criminally. So I would think that if the
- 40:15Speaker 1: prosecutors got with her legal team and everybody sat down
- 40:19Speaker 1: and discussed what was going on, that they could come
- 40:21Speaker 1: to a proper resolution here and give Jane Doe a
- 40:26Speaker 1: peace of mind that she is more than able to
- 40:30Speaker 1: pursue her claims after the criminal case winds up. Because again,
- 40:36Speaker 1: I think that the criminal case and Ghislaine Maxwell going
- 40:39Speaker 1: to prison For what she has done. Is the most
- 40:42Speaker 1: important thing we have going on here. And I also believe.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Obviously in my opinion anyway. I'm certainly not a specialist.
- 40:51Speaker 1: On the matters of the estate. Or suing estates. But
- 40:54Speaker 1: I think that it would. Lend some strength. To the
- 40:58Speaker 1: claim in civil court. If we're talking about somebody. Who
- 41:03Speaker 1: is already. Indicted. And sentenced. In prison. a criminal case
- 41:10Speaker 1: that relates to the civil one. Such witnesses may be
- 41:15Speaker 1: forced to testify about any efforts to assist the criminal
- 41:19Speaker 1: investigation and prosecution and may thereby expose facts about the
- 41:24Speaker 1: investigation and could potentially expose witnesses and or their families
- 41:29Speaker 1: to harassment, the government's letter states. Moreover, permitting any discovery
- 41:35Speaker 1: to proceed in this lawsuit would enable Maxwell to seek
- 41:38Speaker 1: a preview of trial testimony in the criminal case and
- 41:41Speaker 1: would afford her with a broader array of discovery than
- 41:45Speaker 1: she is entitled to in the criminal case. So you
- 41:48Speaker 1: see here, you know, when you read the headline and
- 41:50Speaker 1: you hear some people talk about this, they act like it's,
- 41:54Speaker 1: you know, the government trying to help Ghislaine Maxwell. When
- 41:58Speaker 1: in reality, if you're really paying attention to this case,
- 42:01Speaker 1: and you're not trying to, you know, salt seeds of nonsense,
- 42:06Speaker 1: then you understand this is how it works. The criminal
- 42:09Speaker 1: case takes precedent over the civil case, especially when there's
- 42:13Speaker 1: overlap here. And it's obvious that Jane Doe is one
- 42:19Speaker 1: of the accusers. So there is obvious overlap here. The prosecution,
- 42:25Speaker 1: in my opinion, is doing the right thing here. And
- 42:28Speaker 1: I haven't heard any lawyer worth their weight in salt
- 42:31Speaker 1: or any law pundit come out and really pan this move.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Because I think at the end of the day, everybody's
- 42:38Speaker 1: focused on the same thing. And that is making sure
- 42:42Speaker 1: that Maxwell pays a criminal price. The civil lawsuit filed
- 42:49Speaker 1: under the pseudonym Jane Doe contains allegations that are substantially
- 42:54Speaker 1: similar to those contained in the criminal indictment against Maxwell,
- 42:58Speaker 1: who allegedly groomed three minor girls to be abused by
- 43:02Speaker 1: Epstein between 1994 and 1997 and, in some instances, participated
- 43:08Speaker 1: in the abuse herself, according to prosecutors. Maxwell has pleaded
- 43:14Speaker 1: not guilty to the charges and has denied the allegations
- 43:17Speaker 1: in the civil suit. So you see, it's very obvious, right,
- 43:22Speaker 1: that we're talking about the same Jane Doe here. We're
- 43:25Speaker 1: talking about the same case. And we see why prosecution
- 43:29Speaker 1: would ask for a stay in the civil portion of
- 43:33Speaker 1: this case. In its letter to the court, the government
- 43:38Speaker 1: declined to address speculation Maxwell's attorneys have raised in court
- 43:42Speaker 1: filings that Doe is one of the alleged victims identified
- 43:46Speaker 1: in the criminal case. Those attorneys have declined to comment
- 43:49Speaker 1: on the apparent parallels to the criminal case. So we
- 43:53Speaker 1: don't have the confirmation, right, that this is the same
- 43:58Speaker 1: person who is making these allegations, but all of the
- 44:02Speaker 1: stars aligned. By advocating for a stay in the civil case,
- 44:08Speaker 1: the government found itself, in this instance, aligned with Maxwell
- 44:12Speaker 1: and the co-executors of Epstein's estate, who had been arguing
- 44:16Speaker 1: for months that the case should be placed on hold
- 44:18Speaker 1: while criminal investigations of Epstein's alleged co-conspirators remain open. That's
- 44:24Speaker 1: kind of a bit of a stretch, right? The author's
- 44:29Speaker 1: kind of making it out like prosecution was working behind
- 44:32Speaker 1: the scenes with the lawyers for Epstein's estate. That's not
- 44:36Speaker 1: what's going on here, all right? This isn't like the
- 44:38Speaker 1: first time around when they were in the back room
- 44:41Speaker 1: wheeling and dealing. This is something that I think, as
- 44:45Speaker 1: unfortunate as it is for Jane Doe and as shitty
- 44:48Speaker 1: as it is for her, it's something that has to
- 44:50Speaker 1: occur if we're going to get to the bottom of
- 44:53Speaker 1: this as far as the criminal aspect goes. We don't
- 44:57Speaker 1: want to give these people any loopholes. How many more
- 45:00Speaker 1: hooks are we going to let these smarmy, disgusting, slippery
- 45:06Speaker 1: garbage fish wiggle off of? Absent a stay, Ms. Maxwell
- 45:12Speaker 1: will be forced to choose between her constitutional right to
- 45:15Speaker 1: remain silent and her active and vigorous participation in defending
- 45:20Speaker 1: against and refuting those false claims in this case. wrote
- 45:24Speaker 1: Maxwell's lawyer, Laura Menninger, in a letter to the court
- 45:27Speaker 1: earlier this month. Those lawyers had opposed those efforts, arguing
- 45:31Speaker 1: in court filings that a stay would simply delay long
- 45:35Speaker 1: overdue justice. And I agree about that. If we didn't
- 45:38Speaker 1: have the criminal case proceeding in the manner that it's proceeding,
- 45:42Speaker 1: and there was no overlap, I would be 100% against
- 45:46Speaker 1: a stay in this case. But, We have to look
- 45:50Speaker 1: at the big picture here, right? We have to look
- 45:53Speaker 1: at the criminal portion of this case. There has been
- 45:55Speaker 1: way too much work put in at this point to
- 45:59Speaker 1: get to where we are as far as Ghislaine Maxwell
- 46:01Speaker 1: facing justice to have her be able to wiggle off
- 46:05Speaker 1: on some sort of technicality. It cannot be allowed to happen.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Doe is seeking to hold defendant Maxwell accountable for the
- 46:14Speaker 1: heinous and sick sexual acts she committed against her over
- 46:17Speaker 1: the course of several years when she was just a child,
- 46:21Speaker 1: wrote her lawyer, Robert Glassman, of Panish, Shea & Boyle, LLP,
- 46:26Speaker 1: in a letter to the court. She is best served
- 46:28Speaker 1: by pressing forward with her claims, not waiting even longer
- 46:32Speaker 1: for justice. I don't agree with that. I do not
- 46:34Speaker 1: agree with that because her case isn't going to be
- 46:38Speaker 1: over in a day either, right? They have to go
- 46:40Speaker 1: through the process. The wheels of justice have to turn.
- 46:43Speaker 1: So I think that the criminal portion of this case
- 46:46Speaker 1: is where the focus should be. And I think that Mr.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Glassman here should be focused on helping the prosecution with
- 46:55Speaker 1: whatever sort of information that he thinks is necessary for
- 47:00Speaker 1: their prosecution to move forward in an expedited manner. Because
- 47:04Speaker 1: the faster the prosecution moves of Ghislaine Maxwell in the
- 47:08Speaker 1: criminal manner means the quicker they can get to the
- 47:11Speaker 1: civil portion. Of more than 30 women who brought legal
- 47:16Speaker 1: claims against Epstein's estate following his death last year, Doe
- 47:20Speaker 1: was the only accuser who declined to voluntarily put her
- 47:23Speaker 1: lawsuit on hold to pursue an alternative resolution via the
- 47:27Speaker 1: Epstein's Victims' Compensation Fund, a non-adversarial program established by the
- 47:34Speaker 1: estate that began evaluating claims in June. Again, Jennifer Arreaz
- 47:40Speaker 1: just filed a civil suit as well in the Manhattan...
- 47:43Speaker 1: Supreme Court. So that's two girls now, right? Two ladies
- 47:48Speaker 1: who aren't involved in the compensation fund. At least it
- 47:53Speaker 1: would look that way from Jennifer Arreos' newest filing. Doe
- 47:59Speaker 1: alleges in her complaint that she was first approached at
- 48:01Speaker 1: age 13 by Epstein and Maxwell in 1994 at a
- 48:06Speaker 1: summer camp at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in
- 48:09Speaker 1: Michigan and And that a month-long grooming process by Epstein
- 48:13Speaker 1: and Maxwell continued after she returned home to Florida. And
- 48:18Speaker 1: we covered that when that story came out. We discussed
- 48:21Speaker 1: that at length and how Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein groomed
- 48:27Speaker 1: this young lady and subsequently sexually assaulted her. Doe, now 40,
- 48:35Speaker 1: alleges that the sexual abuse by Epstein escalated over the
- 48:39Speaker 1: next few years as Epstein and Maxwell asserted control over
- 48:43Speaker 1: her life. She claims she was sexually abused at Epstein's
- 48:47Speaker 1: homes in Florida, New York, and his ranch in New Mexico,
- 48:51Speaker 1: and that she would often travel to those locations with
- 48:54Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell on one of Epstein's private jets. Well,
- 48:59Speaker 1: we know for a fact that Epstein There was some
- 49:02Speaker 1: funky shit going on in New Mexico, and we also
- 49:05Speaker 1: know for a fact that there still is not an
- 49:07Speaker 1: investigation running in New Mexico. As usual, my question is, why?
- 49:15Speaker 1: What is going on in New Mexico that makes them
- 49:19Speaker 1: so adversely to doing a real investigation to what occurred
- 49:24Speaker 1: at Zorro Ranch? Epstein's system of abuse was facilitated in
- 49:29Speaker 1: large part by his co-conspirator and accomplice, Maxwell, who helped
- 49:34Speaker 1: supply him with a steady stream of young and vulnerable girls,
- 49:37Speaker 1: the complaint said. During Doe's time in New York, Maxwell
- 49:41Speaker 1: also regularly facilitated Epstein's abuse of Doe and was frequently
- 49:46Speaker 1: present when it occurred. So, we know how heinous these
- 49:51Speaker 1: claims are by Jane Doe. We know that Ghislaine Maxwell
- 49:55Speaker 1: and Jeffrey Epstein, according to her, abused her and sexually
- 50:02Speaker 1: assaulted her for quite some time. And Jane Doe most
- 50:07Speaker 1: certainly deserves her day in court. And with the greater case,
- 50:12Speaker 1: the criminal case, she and the rest of the survivors
- 50:16Speaker 1: are going to get it. And then after that, after
- 50:19Speaker 1: Maxwell's prosecuted, after Maxwell is sentenced, then Jane Doe will
- 50:27Speaker 1: be able to pick this lawsuit back up, the lawsuit here,
- 50:31Speaker 1: the civil lawsuit, and pursue it all the way home.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Maxwell formally requested a stay in Doe's case last month,
- 50:42Speaker 1: arguing that Doe had failed to articulate a cogent reason
- 50:46Speaker 1: for wanting to press ahead with her lawsuit while the
- 50:48Speaker 1: criminal case is ongoing and while Doe can choose to
- 50:51Speaker 1: present her claims to the estate's compensation fund. If it
- 50:55Speaker 1: is money she seeks, she can pursue it in the
- 50:58Speaker 1: claims program, Menninger wrote in a letter to the court
- 51:00Speaker 1: last week. If it's justice she seeks, the criminal case
- 51:04Speaker 1: will resolve those issues one way or the other. Oh,
- 51:07Speaker 1: Laura Menninger. Big mouth menager. Guess what? She's going to
- 51:12Speaker 1: go after it both ways, right? She's going to get
- 51:14Speaker 1: the money she seeks, right? And there's going to be justice.
- 51:18Speaker 1: So enjoy your last few months milking Ghislaine Maxwell for
- 51:23Speaker 1: thousands of dollars an hour because no matter what you
- 51:28Speaker 1: or the rest of those defense attorneys do, your client
- 51:32Speaker 1: is spending the rest of her natural life in prison.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Those lawyers countered that a stay of the case would
- 51:40Speaker 1: deprive her and the public with an opportunity to learn
- 51:44Speaker 1: long-hidden information about Epstein's alleged criminal sex trafficking operation and
- 51:49Speaker 1: Maxwell's alleged role in it. That is for sure, if
- 51:53Speaker 1: it wasn't for the criminal case running at the same time.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Because we're going to learn all of that stuff in
- 51:58Speaker 1: the criminal case as well. We're going to learn all
- 52:01Speaker 1: of that and more. Because remember, Ghislaine Maxwell is not
- 52:05Speaker 1: going down alone. You can mark my words on that.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Write it down. Ship it home. Get it notarized. Maxwell
- 52:13Speaker 1: is not going down alone in this. The continuation of
- 52:19Speaker 1: this last remaining civil avenue... can furnish the public with
- 52:22Speaker 1: critical information... as to defendant Maxwell's well-known criminal enterprise... how
- 52:27Speaker 1: it was operated... and all of those involved. A stay
- 52:31Speaker 1: of the civil proceedings... would provide what defendant Maxwell has
- 52:35Speaker 1: sought for years... Concealing her heinous acts from public view,
- 52:39Speaker 1: Glassman wrote to the court last month. I agree, right?
- 52:42Speaker 1: If it wasn't for the criminal case, I think Mr.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Glassman is spot on with everything he's saying. And I
- 52:48Speaker 1: don't disagree with their position, right? I think that if
- 52:53Speaker 1: Doe wants to pursue this all the way to a
- 52:57Speaker 1: jury trial, then that's her prerogative. But it cannot be
- 53:01Speaker 1: done if it's going to interfere with the criminal case.
- 53:07Speaker 1: Judge Freeman was unpersuaded, determining that the public interest is
- 53:11Speaker 1: best served by protecting the integrity of criminal proceedings. And
- 53:15Speaker 1: I have to agree with that, right? I think the
- 53:17Speaker 1: criminal proceedings supersede anything at this point. I think the
- 53:21Speaker 1: criminal proceedings are the most important thing going on right now.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Because justice must be served in this case. Overall, and
- 53:31Speaker 1: despite Doe's assertion that a stay would work to her disadvantage...
- 53:35Speaker 1: This court finds that any generalized prejudice that she would
- 53:38Speaker 1: suffer as the result of a stay is not sufficient
- 53:42Speaker 1: to counterbalance the other factors that the court should consider,
- 53:45Speaker 1: which all heavily favor a stay, Freeman wrote. So, that
- 53:50Speaker 1: was Judge Freeman's decision on Jane Doe's case against Ghislaine Maxwell,
- 53:56Speaker 1: and that is where we're at. The civil case is
- 54:00Speaker 1: on hold, while the criminal case... is barreling down the
- 54:05Speaker 1: street at 100 miles per hour. If you'd like to
