- 0:05SPEAKER_00: We were able to get you features on shadow work.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Like that's not discussed in the media.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: And breath work and childhood trauma and all of these things that are really, really important to talk about that nobody's really discussing in the media right now.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breaths.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.

- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: I'm super excited about this week's episode.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: So this week I'm talking to Lydia Bagarosa, who is a colleague and good friend of mine.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: She has been my publicist for over a year, and she's also been a client of mine for over a year.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: And we talk about our experience working together and the ways that we've helped each other.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: And she so vulnerably shares about her experience of healing and transformation in the metamorphosis, the quantum accelerator, and the private work that we've done together.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: And it's just a really powerful episode.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: And I also talk about the work that she's done for me and all of the amazing publications that she's gotten me in, how she's gotten me in Oprah magazine and some really amazing publications.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: So we just go really deep here and vulnerably share.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: And I know you're gonna get a lot out of this.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: So I'm really excited to share it with you.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: And Lydia is just such an amazing person.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: If you don't know her, you have to give her a follow and check out her work because she has a lot of other amazing offerings, other than just working with her one-on-one as a publicist.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: She offers courses on how to be your own publicist and how to get yourself media ready, which are so important if you're a business owner.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: And also, if you'd like more information as to the work that Lydia did with me, then we will link all of it below the Metamorphosis, my private work, and the quantum accelerator.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Or you can just reach out to me, send me a DM to talk about working with me in that capacity, like Lydia did.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: So without further ado, enjoy the episode.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Hi everyone.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: Welcome back to the show.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: So today's guest, I'm gonna read her bio, but she's really so much more to me than this.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: So much more.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: So today we have Lydia Bagarosa with us, who is a sought-after publicist and PR strategist for purpose-driven brands in the health and wellness, self-development, and eco-conscious spaces.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: She spent nearly a decade in public relations where she spearheaded countless campaigns for some of the world's top talent in the music industry, as well as brands in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: Her clients are frequently seen on media giants like Forbes, O, The Oprah Magazine, Well and Good, Mind Body Green, Nylon Insider, and Yahoo, which a lot of she's gotten from me.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the show, Lydia.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Thank you for having me.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited to be here today.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: Well, it's so funny because I feel like you're so up close and personal with the podcast because you do a lot of my like outreach for me.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: So, like to have you on is just like a moment.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: It is a moment.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: I've really seen this baby grow up.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: So it's been very cool.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, I know.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: And I feel like there's so much I want to talk about because, you know, I have been your client for like over a year now, and you have been my client for all I mean, just as long, basically.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: And, you know, I want to talk about all of that.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: But can you just give us like a quick rundown of like how you got into this and then like what you really do for people?
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, sure.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: So um I got into this because, well, I'll start out by saying that I was in the music as industry, so that's where I started my PR career.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: I was working at an agency that had partnerships with some of the biggest record labels in the world, and I was in New Jersey going into New York City to support my clients constantly.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: And during that time, I was super, super burned out.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: And that's where I started looking for answers and found my own personal spiritual awakening, my self-development journey.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: So after that, I transitioned into Beauty, Fashion, and Lifestyle PR.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: And during that time, the agency would always give me the wellness brands because they knew I was so interested in them.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Um, I was so interested also in the founders and like how they created their brand, who they were reaching, like who was using their products.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: And that was something that was really interesting to me.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: And I think was my entrepreneurial spirit was peering through, and I just didn't realize it at the time.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: Um, but during this time, I was like really interested also in like any of the wellness or spirituality modalities.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Um, one of our clients actually put like Reiki into her skincare, which I thought was really cool.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: So, anyway, when the pandemic hit, I felt like I had an existential crisis like many of us, and spent a lot of time by myself.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: And I was like, what am I doing here?
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: Like, what am I contributing to this planet?
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: And I decided then that I was going to quit my job and start my own PR company, which I wasn't sure what that was gonna look like, but it's been almost two years now.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: I worked with you for a year already, and it took off right away.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: So I support clients in the spirituality, self-development, mentorship spaces, eco-conscious spaces, and I'm super passionate about that.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: But what I really do, and what I what Elise helped me uncover actually in our work together, and something that I didn't realize I was doing.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: So I'm very good at deeply understanding my clients on a level that I thought everybody could do, but it turns out they can't.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: Um, and I would get so excited, especially like in our kickoff calls, which is the call that I have before I start a campaign.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: And I'd be like, oh my God, you're perfect for this, you're perfect for this and this, and I can totally see this.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: And what's funny about this whole situation, Elise, is like my very first client that I supported in my business, um, which I did pro bono because I was like, Can I actually do this?
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Which is funny because I had many years of PR, but I was like, can I do this alone?
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: And right when we had a conversation, I was like, oh my God, I feel like you're perfect for Forbes.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: And within two weeks, I got her a full feature, organic feature in Forbes, and it blew my mind.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: It was like I saw that it was already happening, and so I never really realized that that was something that I can do.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: So long story short, I have been called a media matchmaker, which I loved.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: That's so funny.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: And um, I'm very good at being able to see what my clients um, I guess, matches are in the media.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: So where they should be placed, what types of story angles make sense, etc.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's amazing.
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: So let's first talk about how your work has evolved or how you have evolved since working with me, and then we can kind of weave in everything that you've done for me because it's a lot.
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: What drew you to want to work with me, first of all?
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: So I love your work.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: I think that trauma work is so important.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: It's been instrumental in my personal self-development, um, spirituality, all of it.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: So basically, when I was going through my first existential crisis back in the music industry days, um, that was when I truly realized how connected we are to the universe.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: And it was telling me to leave this job.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: And like every way that it could, I got into a car accident the last day of the job before that.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Like it's a joke.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: And my car was totaled.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: And so from then on, it was a series of unfortunate events for my car.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: I've never gotten so many flat tires on my way to this job.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: It was, I'm not kidding you.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: I had, I don't think I ever told you this, I had a subscription to my local tire place because I got that many flat tires.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: They really like I it was a steal, let me tell you.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: I they really, I really got my money's worth.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: And so during this whole time, I also realized the mind-body connection.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: I was getting nerve pain in my hands, and I genuinely thought um on a very 3D level, I was like, oh my goodness, I have carpal tunnel, I need to change careers.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: I was going to the doctor, I was going to a chiropractor, I was going to acupuncture, and really trying to find answers.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: And um, I ended up seeing a psychic for fun, and the psychic told me, she was like, I don't want to offend you, but like maybe it's actually stress.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: It's like, what?
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: So for those years that I was working at that agency, transitioning to beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, I was trying to find answers online.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Answers of why these things happen or how we can heal, what really is at the root of all of this, which turned out to be familial, ancestral, inner child trauma.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: So I was doing my own personal work on this with Lacey Phillips' work.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: But what I feel like was missing, and I don't think that there's anything wrong with her work.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: I'm a huge advocate for it.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: So if you know who she is, like definitely look her up and her manifestation work, which is really just like inner child work.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: But what I think was really missing was that component of breath work, that component of really connecting with the body.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: So anyway, I just loved your branding, but I also really, really deeply loved what you do on a level of working with your clients.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: And I just feel like your mission is so much bigger than what I originally saw online.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: It was like, this woman's meant to be everywhere.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of what happened with me.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: And and when I first got connected with you, I was like, I guess what I thought was normal was like a whole vision of like where you should be featured and like how your work should be on such a larger scale than it was on the internet at the time.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: Well, it's so interesting because I was not really thinking of getting PR.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't think I was at a point in my business where I, you know, quote unquote should have gotten PR.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: But I remember I was driving in the car.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: I was literally right over here on the corner, right by my house on Fifth Street.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: I remember exactly where I was at the stop sign.
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: And I got this very strong message.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: Reach out to Lydia, and they even showed me like the Facebook Messenger app.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: They were like, reach out to Lydia on Facebook Messenger.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: And I was just like, and I didn't really know you.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: Oh, you know what?
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: I think you had had an Akashic Records reading with me.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: And that was it.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: Like you, I think you maybe watch one of my lives, but that was it.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: Like it didn't go further than that.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: And um, like a really strong message, like to reach out to you, to reach out to you.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I don't know if I'm like ready for this.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: I literally had only been full-time in my business at that point for like six months, but I had this really strong nudge.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: And then, you know, we ended up starting to work together.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: And we can talk about what happened and what you did for me.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: But I feel like there was this crazy, like symbiotic relationship because I could see so clearly what I was supposed to help you with.
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: And then you saw so clearly what you were supposed to help me with, which was obviously to like get me exposure and help me grow my brand, which you've totally done.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: But then for you, it was just like, which you can probably speak better to of your experience, but it was just like clearing out and dismantling all this stuff so that you could be in your greatness and realize and embody more of what you're meant to do, which then actually helped you see even more of like what I was meant to do.
- 13:02SPEAKER_01: And it was just like this whole thing.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: I feel like every time one of us has an up level, the other one's like, me too.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: And it's just like crazy how it's worked out.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: And it's, you know, it's funny too.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: It's like I always say PR is very much a win-win situation because if my client is doing well, I'm doing well.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: And I also feel good about it.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: So, like the both of us, I mean, obviously, on a very deeper level, we were working on a lot of different things.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Um, personally for me, and then with you, it was like, okay, I could uncover something, and then we would get like awesome press, or you would have a breakthrough and we get awesome press, and then the confidence would be there, and then the mindset would be there, and it would just like keep building.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: And so it's been pretty wild to see.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: It's been crazy to see unfold.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: It really has.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: We started working intensively together one-on-one, starting in what, like the end of May?
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: And it's now September, what is say?
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: September 20th.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: So it's been what, like four months?
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: Four months.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: Um, so since that time, because obviously when people work with me one-on-one, they go into the metamorphosis, which is huge.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's been so many things.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: I feel like I kind of get annoying with sharing your wins because you've had so many since we started.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: I'm like, there goes Elise.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: I'm like, there goes Elise on this again.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: I was thinking about doing a solo post about you today, and I'm like, is it too much?
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: No, I don't think so.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: No, totally not, totally not too much.
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: Well, that's how I feel about you.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: What do you feel like are some of the biggest shifts that you've made since we started working together one-on-one?
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so some of the biggest shifts, um, one of that I don't I feel comfortable sharing is that I was experiencing an income ceiling for a very long time.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: And I was kind of chalking it up to, oh, well, I switched around to different jobs and careers for a little while before I found PR.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: And so um I had to lower my income bracket in order to be at a start new and get my foot in the door and everything that they tell you, which is total BS, like you know your worth.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: But I thought that that was a thing that was real.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: And so a lot of it had to do with my own personal self-worth.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: A lot of it had to do with the things that were programmed to me as a kid.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: This is something that we've been working on for the past few months.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: And since then, I've like very much shifted into a next level.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Um, Elisa has been able to help me with my break through that ceiling, that income ceiling, which has been like crazy instrumental.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: And I don't say this to be like, oh, money, like it really, really, which is amazing, but it really has to do with so much deeper things.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: And you're so amazing at getting to the root of what really are the reasons, like money, like relationships, like the way that you show up in different places.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: And I think also um relationships was always a big one for me.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: I'm a major people pleaser, used to be.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: I'm working on it.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: Recovering people pleaser.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: That's what I always say.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: Recovering, yes.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: Um, and I didn't realize how much I was doing things for the sake of getting others' approval, which is something that I didn't even realize for a long time.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: I just thought, like, oh, I'm being the nice person, or I um I have to do this, and like didn't really realize what I was quote unquote getting out of it, which is a part of Elise's work.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: And I think it's so instrumental because basically, and you can talk on this probably better than I can, but bringing it down to what are our root traumas and then what we're getting out of these traumas, which is really crazy to bring it back to the self and stop pointing outward, which is a huge awareness that I'm still dealing with and I'll probably work with for the rest of my life.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: And there's always more layers to the onion.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: But as we are uncovering all of these different things, I've noticed that I've been able to be more in tune with myself, in tune with people around me.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: And I've been a better CEO to my business than I've been since I started in the past few months.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: I mean, the ships have been really, really crazy.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: And I can even talk about just the fact of showing up, how I show up for my clients, how I don't waste time.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: A big one was wasting my time in order to um in order to satisfy others.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: Now I have a time issue, but it's because my business is growing, not because I have people pleasing everywhere.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: So how would you say, because I think this is really important, the people pleasing thing or the codependency thing, or even the relationship thing.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: And I don't feel like everyone kind of can easily connect the dots to like why this relates to making more money.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: And I know you probably didn't at first either, but like still now I get surprised.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh my God, that's related to this.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: It's quite fun.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because it's all energy, right?
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: And it's it's so important too to just have someone point those things out for you.
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: Because like, even though I do this for people, I still need someone to point out those energy leaks for me too.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: Because when you've been operating this way for like 30 years or something, you don't realize that you're doing it, right?
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: Like you, you need someone to point it out.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: But like for you, I feel like it was so powerful in the way that we would like point out one of these energy shifts.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: And then I immediately I would get a text from you, like, oh, I just got a new client.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: Like, oh, somebody just reached out to me for private work.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, I just got, what was it the other day?
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: Seven new people.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: Oh gosh, this was crazy.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: Okay, so we can talk about two recent ones, I guess.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: So recently I was triggered in my relationship because I felt like I wasn't supported.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: It was something silly.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: It was like a ride to the airport.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: But at the same time, like when he told me that he couldn't pick me up from the airport, I was I went into the whole story of like, of course, I have to do everything myself or it won't get done, and blah, blah, blah.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: So we talked about the root of why I don't feel supported, where that safety and support is coming from childhood, and then having a conversation to really ship that on like a tangible level.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: And so I was able to do that.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: And because I showed up, reacted in a totally different way than I normally would right away.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: My conversation with my partner was so easeful.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: We both were able to have such a beautiful conversation where he didn't realize he was doing it.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: I also didn't like voice what I needed at the time, and also didn't voice like where it was coming from.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: And I think that's a huge thing when we're in relationship in general, it could be friends or whatever.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: We'll get angry with each other and project instead of really talking about why it's important, which is like a huge awareness because it totally shifts the energy.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: And what was funny about this whole thing is the very next day at the airport, I had the worst experience.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: It was like a seven-hour delay.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: I was like, we're gonna be calm, it's cool, whatever.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: And while this is happening and I can't be on my phone, there's like no Wi-Fi in the in Newark Airport.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: I got seven signups for my group program.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: So obviously this was a huge shift.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: And it's all relationships too, because if I'm going to show up in a certain way for my clients, it's probably because that's how I show up with everybody in my life.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: So that was crazy to see.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: And then we recently had a conversation this week about how I have a time issue.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Now it's because I have a lot of people knocking on my door, uh, which is fantastic.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: And I was talking to her about how I don't have time for things, and she suggested that I just make the step to reach out to a VA and get some support.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I don't know.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: And I made up a bunch of stories as per usual, uh, like we all do sometimes.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: And within two minutes of finally reaching out to a VA and just scheduling a call, so just starting to shift that energy.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: Um, I got a DM that was like, hey, Lydia, I listened to you on this podcast and I really want to work with you one-on-one for X, Y, and Z.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: So it was just within seconds, and I'm like, oh well, Elise, I'm going to send you a message now.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: I feel like the universe is always like, hello, obviously, here's another sign moving forward.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: And it's just like those different energetic things that, like, not everyone can see, but like I can just see that, oh, I can almost pinpoint it in the sense of like, okay, are we operating from wounding or are you operating from your highest timeline?
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: And in that specific situation, it's like operating from wounding or lack or scarcity, whatever you want to call it, would be like, well, I don't.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Have enough money to hire somebody right now, so I'm gonna wait.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: But what that's actually doing in that scenario energetically is making an energetic statement to the universe that you don't have enough money and that's where you are.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: However, if we operate from the version of us that we know that we're meant to be, that we're stepping into, then all of a sudden the universe reconfigures itself.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: So we become that version of ourselves, right?
- 22:29SPEAKER_01: So by you declaring that you're becoming the version of you who has help and who gets support, all of a sudden then the universe reconfigures to show you that, right?
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: To support that.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: And that happens all the time.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: And I always tell people, I know that's one of the key factors in why I grew my business so quickly, is because I always made decisions based on where I wanted to be instead of where I was.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: And um, you know, sometimes I literally set myself into like a three-week panic attack, like that happens sometimes when I'm like crazy and like agree to pay people lots of money that I didn't have.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: But you know what?
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: It always worked out because it forced me to step into this version of myself that I wasn't there, but I knew that's where I was meant to be.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: And I think that's such a powerful thing to do, but like you have to get support to do that.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: You do.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: Oh gosh.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: And speaking of, so when I first was learning about this concept, like it made sense.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: I loved it.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: This is many years ago, and I was like, okay, we can go into this story.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: Okay, so I was like, okay, well, I'm going to feel like I deserve this, and I'm going to be in a place where uh I'm going to communicate to the universe that I will get more money if I spend more money, but I didn't do the inner work.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: And I ended up moving into a new apartment, realized that I didn't have anything for the apartment.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: So I bought things I needed for the apartment, which you don't think about, like cleaning products, a couch, you know, all the things.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: And I ended up racking up credit cards like crazy.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: And it put me into a deeper spiral of lack mentality.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: And I didn't realize at the time that what was missing was really, really doing this deep work.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: And it was, uh, it took some time to get out of that credit card debt and that mindset too, because when you're in it, it's just like you feel like you're getting buried.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: And what I wish everybody knew is that once we really start going to the root, not just like telling the universe out that we're gonna, we're different now, that's not how it works.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: I wish it did.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: And affirmations are really powerful.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: Once you start doing the inner work, I feel, but I didn't realize like how important it is to get to the root.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: And you always say this, and it's so true.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: But like if you're not experiencing something in your now, there's something going on, some programming in the back end that needs to be shifted.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: A hundred percent.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that's so important.
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: I'm really glad you brought that up because it's not as simple as just saying, like, okay, now I'm gonna like sign up for this program that's$10,000 a month and you're not making any money in your business.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: That's not what I'm saying at all.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: Because there needs to be the energetic, obviously the deeper inner work behind it, right?
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: Because until we shift it, we're operating from programming from childhood.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: So if your parents had issues with money, or if you had a parent who felt like a failure, or if you had parents who, I don't know, like decided that they could never have their dreams realized or whatever, like you're gonna be operating from that programming until you consciously shift it.
- 25:49SPEAKER_01: So no amount of affirmations or spending a lot of money is gonna change that.
- 25:55SPEAKER_01: But if you are like dedicated and willing to continuously go deep and do the inner work, then that energy will back up those decisions that you make, right?
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: So, and it's not like I'm making the decision as the version of me 10 years from now.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: I'm making the decision as like the next level me, like the version of me that I'm stepping into next.
- 26:16SPEAKER_01: So it's not like I'm okay, and I'm gonna be a millionaire, let me spend like a millionaire.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: No, it's more like, okay, the next level version of me wants to be investing this much money in a coach.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: The next level version of me wants to be investing in PR.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: And so, like when I signed on with you, that was not something that I even necessarily thought was possible.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: But then when I saw, well, I felt the alignment with you, but I also was like, okay, like this feels like my next level.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: Does it feel like my now level?
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: No, but it feels like my next level.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: So by me saying yes to that, I then automatically step into my next level.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: And recently I was talking about how, well, I don't have the, I mean, I could make the funds work, but I don't know if I have it now and all of this stuff.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: And that's me making decisions in my now, not making decisions in my next level.
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: So if I were to have the support, I would create more space to bring in more money, et cetera, et cetera.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: But that's a natural next step for me.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: So I think that's so important to hear.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: And actually, while we're on this podcast right now, I'm thinking about like how my apartment credit card debt was a block for this apartment and furnishing this one.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: It's just nonstop.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: I can't have a conversation with you without having another like aha moment.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: I'm like, and in real time, ladies and gentlemen, this is how this is how it happens.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: But it really is amazing.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: And what I noticed too is like the work is not as scary as I thought for the longest time.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: I'm like going deep.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: Like, what is this deep dark hole?
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: Um, but it's it's really, if anything, what I've noticed is we already have experienced, and I don't want to say this because you know, like everybody has different types of trauma, micro and macro, but I know my past, I know what I experienced.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: And so for me personally, when I was starting to go into the metamorphosis and go into these different stages of my childhood and really uncover it was more awarenesses than anything.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: Like, yes, some of it was a little sad to be like, oh yeah, that was like a realization that I had to come to terms with, but also if anything, it was liberating and it was an exciting moment.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: So when we started going through the metamorphosis, I went through it twice.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: And both times I was like, oh, finally I figured out the route to this.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: So now I can create something new in my life now, and it doesn't have to be this way forever.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: So it became like almost an exciting thing as opposed to something that was really hard and difficult and sad.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: And what I think is beautiful about Elise's work is I was also very, very afraid of breath work for whatever reason.
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: A lot of people are.
- 29:11SPEAKER_01: A lot of people are.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: I was like, am I gonna like pass out?
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: Why is that even a thought, anyway?
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: Um and then I was nervous about it because I was like, what if something comes up that I'm not prepared for?
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: And I felt like the breath work that you teach to this day, I feel like it's almost like a like a warm blanket of like a com it puts you in a relaxing, a relaxing state.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: And it's not, it's not something that you need to fear, is basically what I want to say.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: And this is coming from somebody who was afraid of it.
- 29:43SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: I love that you mentioned that and also just about the metamorphosis, too.
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: That's actually why I took the curriculum of the metamorphosis off of my sales page, is because people will be like, oh my God, that sounds horrible.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: I don't want to look at my relationship with my mother.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: I don't want to look at my relationship with my father or my siblings.
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: But like, if you want anything in life, you have to.
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: That's just the bottom line.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: But I love that you brought up that it wasn't like excruciating, right?
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: Because it doesn't, you don't have to go back and feel every little thing that ever happened.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: All we have to do is like get to kind of the core thing.
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: And of course, there's emotions that come up at times.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: And I think one of the great things about the work that I do too is I'll see when you're not feeling an emotion, and I'll be like, okay, you need to go back and like allow yourself to feel this.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: But it's not like the whole time you're sobbing or anything.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: It's just like, okay, I can feel that there's some sadness that needs to be released around this.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: Can you go do some breath work and journaling around it?
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: You know, and then you can give yourself that experience.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: But it's not like there is like this overwhelming thing where now you're just open Pandora's box and can't shut it.
- 30:53SPEAKER_01: It's not like that.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: So I'm really glad you brought that up.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: And the breath work, too.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: So many people have said to me that they were kind of scared of it at first, but it's actually incredibly gentle.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: And even though it feels like gentle and easy, it's still moving a ton of energy.
- 31:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: And at first, too, I had all of these questions of, am I doing this right?
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: And this also is a perfectionist thing, which we uncovered as well.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: Um, but um, for a while I was like, Am I doing this right?
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: Does this make sense?
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: And then at the beginning, too, I remember I was like, Alice, so I decided that I'm gonna go for walks instead and listen to the breath work because uh which was really just me feeling like so uncomfortable about the idea of laying down and doing breath work.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: She's like, Oh, okay, well, you could do that for a little while, but you should probably like do it for real.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: So, so it's definitely a process and give yourself some grace.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: Give yourself a lot of grace.
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: It took me a long time to even feel comfortable feeling my own emotions, which I didn't know that I had.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: Um, because I'm pretty, I'm a pretty sensitive person.
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: Um, I can cry very easily at the sight of a Disney movie.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: So the fact that I couldn't feel my own emotions for like really traumatic experiences that happened to me as a kid was something that I didn't realize.
- 32:17SPEAKER_00: And also by at least giving me a safe space to be able to experience that.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: And when you're in the metamorphosis too, you're doing this in your own time.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: And then if you do join a certain level, you can do the support calls and everything, um, which I highly recommend.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: The support calls are like next level.
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: But for a while, I was concerned and nervous about being in my own space and allowing myself to feel my own emotions.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: And it's okay to do that.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: No one's watching you.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: So um anyway, I just wanted to mention that because I think it is really important.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: It's so important because, like I always say, like, we're not really taught how to manage our emotions or how to deal with them or how to even feel them.
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: We usually are just taught to suppress them or that they're inconvenient and just like push them away.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: And then we come into where we are now, and then we're wondering why things aren't working and not realizing that we have all of this suppressed emotional energy that just needs to be felt and cleared and released.
- 33:19SPEAKER_01: And that's why the breath work is so powerful, because you just do that so quickly, and then things just start to really shift and change.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: So, you know, obviously there's been a ton of shifts in your business, right?
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: Which has completely taken off.
- 33:34SPEAKER_01: But I want to talk about this too, just about your business in particular.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: Well, also because I feel like this crazy thing happens with everybody, where once people shift their trauma, they understand their gifts on a much deeper level and they like understand exactly what they're meant to do on such a deeper level.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: So, can you like describe how like maybe you went from thinking it was this to now knowing like what it truly is?
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: So um Elise basically told me at the beginning, like when we started working together, even I probably in our Akashic Records reading over a year ago at this point, that I have this like almost like psychic ability to be able to see my clients potential through the media, through like a PR lens.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: And I would just be like, okay, whatever.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: That's like what all publicists do.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: And it's just kind of ignored it.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: And um, I was told this over and over again and uh from like different clients.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: I'm lucky that I'm in a spiritual space, so I have beta CEOs around me, and they also can see shit.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: So um, pardon my friendship.
- 34:41SPEAKER_00: So, anyway, for months that we were working together, she just kept reinforcing this ability that I had and just letting me know like this is a real thing.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: Um, and then we did take uh a Neo assessment with Dr.
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: Robin McKay, which is amazing.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: She also has an episode on reclaiming consciousness.
- 34:59SPEAKER_00: Highly recommend.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: It's one of my favorites, Elise knows.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's the best.
- 35:03SPEAKER_00: She's amazing.
- 35:04SPEAKER_00: She has a psych background, she's an incredible CEO, she's worked with Fortune 500 company.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: She's like the real deal.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: And within Elise's program, she um had her come in and give us personality assessments, which are like the top personality assessments.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: And within that, we were all just talking, and Dr.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: Robin McKay was like, Lydia, you know that you have this ability to like see entrepreneurs like their potential, and you are like a media matchmaker, which was really, really funny because she also said that I was like a love matchmaker in a past life, which cracks me up because I always now am trying to set my friends up.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: Anyway, but um, she said that and she was like, wow, you have this amazing gift to be able to put these clients together with these media contacts and really make a beautiful press trail.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: And that was kind of the moment where I believed it for whatever reason.
- 36:02SPEAKER_00: I think it's just because it's we've been talking about it so much, and I've been doing so much work with Elise within her program too, to finally be able to claim that I can do that instead of just be like, no, this is this is everybody.
- 36:17SPEAKER_00: And I think that that came with a people-pleasing streak of like, no, we're all on the same level, and I'm not better than anybody else.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: And I don't really think it's about being better, it's it's just about being able to claim your gifts and then contribute to the planet on a much bigger level.
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: And so I have a lot of gratitude to Elise for being able to help me see that I can do that.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: And I do have this special gift, and I'm gonna get emotional, but I'm fine.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: Um and um yeah, but I think the neo-assessment was just kind of like the tip of the iceberg for that.
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: But that was a huge awareness that happened this summer, and then I was able to actually start talking about what I can do and claiming that I am a really good publicist, and I'm able to get my clients on X, Y, and Z.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: And I didn't realize too, like, I've been having a lot of clients come to me now that I've been able to claim this.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: And I can feel the magnet that I've created around my field because all of a sudden I get DMs like every other day since I decided to claim this a month ago about my business.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: How can I work with you?
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: All these different things.
- 37:26SPEAKER_00: So, like these shifts are real and they happen.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: And once you start showing up in a certain way for yourself, everyone reacts to you.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: And what I've also noticed is I've been talking to quite a few CEOs that I've worked with publicists before.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: This was the craziest one.
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: One of them told me recently that they worked with another PR firm that told them, I'm gonna pitch you this way because this is a story angle, even though that wasn't the way that they wanted to be seen in the media, which I thought was very interesting.
- 37:54SPEAKER_00: So not only am I able to see my clients in the way that they want to be seen and really understand who they are at their core, because why would I want to pitch a client in a certain way that they don't want to be seen?
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: That like goes against everything, especially in the health and wellness space, but that I can also see so many different story angles for them that makes sense that they're able to contribute to these great pieces in the media.
- 38:18SPEAKER_01: So, do you want to share some of how you did that for me?
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: Because there's so many examples, but I'll let you pick your favorites of just the ways that you've done that for me and the examples of the different media you've gotten me.
- 38:33SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: Elise's campaign has been amazing.
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: So when we first started working together, I think we both were, I don't know, it was just funny because we both were like, all right, we're gonna do this thing.
- 38:45SPEAKER_00: Um, her campaign has been crazy momentum after momentum after momentum.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: So she was able to get on Thrive Global Medium.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: She was in Oh, the Oprah magazine in print, which is nearly impossible.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: They only print four times a year now.
- 39:03SPEAKER_00: So that's like very, very prestigious uh and really amazing that you were able to be in there and quoted multiple times about breathwork.
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: But she's also been featured in top-tier media, um, The Every Girl, Well and Good, and Nylon, which is so cool and trendy.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: I love nylon.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: And then she's also been on fantastic podcasts like Chakra Girl Radio, which is one of my faves.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: And then because of all the great interviews that she's gotten on other podcasts, we've been able to kind of leverage that to help support reclaiming consciousness.
- 39:37SPEAKER_00: So it's been just such a fun experience to see all of this.
- 39:42SPEAKER_00: And like, as I always call uh Elise my my protege, because she's just been able to expand and just grow in such a beautiful level.
- 39:55SPEAKER_00: And I feel like, too, there's something to say about this because you are moving so quickly in your business and you have such a clear vision and you're always working on yourself.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: I feel like that also helps me on an energetic level be able to bring in these like really big names.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: I was talking about this the other day with somebody, but I'm like, there's something to say there, and nobody talks about this.
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: So it's just been such an awesome, awesome campaign and ride.
- 40:21SPEAKER_01: That's really, I love that you brought that up too.
- 40:24SPEAKER_01: And you're like this too, because I think that you like to move really fast and you like to have that momentum too.
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: And then when you partner with somebody who is the same way, then it just helps because you're like can constantly just keep growing into it and growing into it.
- 40:39SPEAKER_01: I even just want to look right now because I feel like we forgot some of the amazing press that you've gotten me.
- 40:45SPEAKER_00: Oh, we just had Birdie.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes, Bertie, that was yesterday.
- 40:48SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, Yahoo News.
- 40:51SPEAKER_00: She knows.
- 40:52SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, she knows.
- 40:53SPEAKER_01: Um, Reespin, and oh, that she's a full-on Monet, which I never heard of, but was really good.
- 41:00SPEAKER_01: And also, like, I just want to say too, I have gotten so many new clients, especially from the podcast that you've gotten me on.
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: Like that's something that is really important for people to understand.
- 41:11SPEAKER_01: There's a few different things that I've kind of learned now about having press, because I think some people can have like a misconception of like, oh, well, it's just to get clients.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: And like, it's not just to get clients, it's also to have your brand have clout, you know, to like have you be positioned as an expert and authority.
- 41:31SPEAKER_01: And I think, which in turn gets you more clients, right?
- 41:34SPEAKER_01: But like, um, especially the print stuff, I feel like just really when you're able to have all those logos on your site that you've been in all of these publications and you've meaningfully contributed to them, that really positions you more as an authority and an expert.
- 41:50SPEAKER_01: And I think that helped me so much really be able to anchor into that energy of yes, I am an authority on this.
- 41:58SPEAKER_01: I do know what I'm talking about.
- 42:00SPEAKER_01: Like I do have this expertise.
- 42:03SPEAKER_01: And then also the other thing I just want to say about that too is all the podcasts you've gotten me on were amazing.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: And I've gotten a lot of clients from them.
- 42:11SPEAKER_01: I've gotten a lot of people reaching out to me from them because those I think are the way to really like grow your business just so you can be exposed to more people.
- 42:20SPEAKER_01: And I think you've been really good at knowing which podcast would be a really good fit for me.
- 42:26SPEAKER_01: So there's been a so many different podcasts where immediately after the episode comes out, I get a ton of new followers.
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: And then I have people reaching out to me to work with me.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: And then even that smaller blog or whatever, she's a full-on Monet.
- 42:41SPEAKER_01: I said you, I was like, I was like, I just got like 30 new Instagram followers.
- 42:46SPEAKER_01: I was like, where are these people coming from?
- 42:48SPEAKER_01: And then we realized it was from that, and that's not even like a big publication, but I guess it's really like they have loyal people.
- 42:57SPEAKER_01: So those are really big deals too.
- 42:59SPEAKER_01: And I feel like you kind of knew that that would be a really good fit.
- 43:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: And meaningful press, thank you so much for saying that because that's really important and something that I feel is very important in the work that I do.
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: We were able to get you features on shadow work, like that's not discussed in the media.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: And breath work and childhood trauma and all of these things that are really, really important to talk about that nobody's really discussing in the media right now.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's changing, uh, especially with uh 2020 and that things that we're going through right now.
- 43:34SPEAKER_00: I think people are finally waking up to realizing that there's more to life and we need to heal ourselves and self development's becoming a thing that is important.
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:46SPEAKER_00: But that's something that I really, really love.
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: And and the fact that you were able to get on these podcasts too and share like your story with using your voice, I think that's really important too for sales.
- 43:58SPEAKER_00: Like if we're just gonna talk and uh The realm of sales, yes, those logos are really great to get on your website and on your social media, and they add clout and credibility.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: And it also helps you diversify like the things that you do and what you can talk about.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: So I love that we're not just saying like Elise is a breath work practitioner and that is it, because that's not true.
- 44:18SPEAKER_00: So each press piece has some sort of different angle that she can speak on that's that's important.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: And then in interviews, you can talk and just have a genuine conversation and people buy from who they like.
- 44:30SPEAKER_00: I am such a podcast junkie.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: I've bought so many things from podcasts.
- 44:36SPEAKER_00: And just speaking from personal experience, like we're getting to a level where we're not just buying things because they're advertised to us.
- 44:43SPEAKER_00: We're buying things because it's eco-conscious, because it's sustainable, or because we like the person that we're working with, because they're going to help us get to a certain level.
- 44:51SPEAKER_00: It's like a totally different way of buying.
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: It's more like emotional buying almost.
- 44:56SPEAKER_01: More energetic, like alignment too.
- 44:59SPEAKER_01: Like I just there's certain people that you just feel aligned with that you feel like is kind of like speaking your language, kind of the thing.
- 45:06SPEAKER_01: Like people always say that to me from podcasts.
- 45:09SPEAKER_01: I just resonate so deeply with everything you're saying.
- 45:11SPEAKER_01: Like, you don't know how many times I get that.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: Like literally all the time.
- 45:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's either like I resonate so deeply or like I just heard you and I know I'm supposed to work with you.
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: So, like those podcasts are priceless in that way.
- 45:27SPEAKER_01: Because not only is it obviously I want to grow my business and my impact, but also it's like for the other person, it's like, oh my gosh, this is finally what I was looking for.
- 45:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 45:38SPEAKER_00: So it's been really fulfilling in that sense.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: And also I'm learning so much too, as I'm working with you and other clients and in this space where I mean, I came from a background where I was working with musicians and everybody wants to speak to them.
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: And it's very like, all right, we're gonna talk about their new album, you know, like everyone wants to talk to the Beach Boys.
- 45:58SPEAKER_00: And then I worked with a bunch of product-based brands, and it's very surface level.
- 46:03SPEAKER_00: So being able to deliver and support these entrepreneurs, these business owners, these CEOs that are really making a difference and seeing the way that the audience is also reacting.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: And also, I was looking at our stats today, which is of course that makes sense.
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: Like I used you for a case study in a um workshop that I did earlier today.
- 46:26SPEAKER_00: We've gotten over 30 pieces of press for you, and your unique visitors, your potential unique visitors per month are over 4 billion individuals a month.
- 46:37SPEAKER_00: So Oh my God.
- 46:42SPEAKER_00: That's insane, Lydia.
- 46:44SPEAKER_00: I know, it's pretty crazy, right?
- 46:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: Reason being is we don't realize like the reach that these publications have.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: And this is why I'm such an advocate for organic press.
- 46:55SPEAKER_00: I know like I'm a publicist and this is what I do, but I'm such an advocate for organic press because you can earn it.
- 47:01SPEAKER_00: You're having meaningful conversations, you're able to create and add value and value that they want to share to their audience members.
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: And also, too, all of these publications, like they have dedicated fans that are going to their sites every single day.
- 47:16SPEAKER_00: Like Forbes alone has, I think, double-digit millions, like 22 million or something like that.
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: You need visitors per month.
- 47:23SPEAKER_00: That means that many people are going on Forbes per month.
- 47:27SPEAKER_00: So the potential of somebody stumbling across your interview, um, just using Forbes as an example, just numbers-wise, because I was looking at them today, but like those types of things are important.
- 47:39SPEAKER_00: And then also, too, like for SEO purposes, like if I'm gonna type in spiritual mentor and a lease pops up, that's going to live on the internet forever.
- 47:50SPEAKER_00: So that's great to have for SEO.
- 47:52SPEAKER_00: And then podcasts, I can't say this enough that just like they have dedicated fans, and podcasts aren't like, they're not like, you know, the news or something like that, where you watch it once and that's it.
- 48:03SPEAKER_00: There's dedicated fans that go back and listen to episodes, or they'll find a show and then they'll binge the whole thing.
- 48:10SPEAKER_00: I'm so guilty of all of this.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: I've listened to there's certain episodes I've listened to over and over again because I just love the story or the interview.
- 48:19SPEAKER_00: And so these are the types of things that are really going to make a difference when it comes to purpose and impact, which is what we're really trying to do here.
- 48:27SPEAKER_00: Sales, yes, because we're a business, but like it's all about the impact.
- 48:32SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 48:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 48:33SPEAKER_01: And I also the last thing I want to say about it is just that um it also has like this compound effect, too, where now it's like, I'm constantly getting new followers, I'm constantly getting new people signing up for my list.
- 48:44SPEAKER_01: And then it's like, it's most likely one of the things.
- 48:48SPEAKER_01: It's most likely one of the podcasts, one of the publications I was in.
- 48:52SPEAKER_01: It just compounds and it keeps coming.
- 48:55SPEAKER_01: It's not like, oh, just when the podcast comes out.
- 48:58SPEAKER_01: Like you said, people listen to that at any time.
- 49:01SPEAKER_01: So I'm constantly getting new people all the time.
- 49:05SPEAKER_01: And it's because like they found me from one of these ways.
- 49:08SPEAKER_01: So it has like this huge compound effect, which is amazing.
- 49:11SPEAKER_01: So would you be able to share just the different ways?
- 49:15SPEAKER_01: Because obviously you work with people one-on-one, but I know you have other ways that people can work with you if maybe they're not quite ready for the one-on-one experience.
- 49:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: Um, so I am coming out with a digital course in the winter.
- 49:28SPEAKER_00: This is a digital course that is self-led.
- 49:31SPEAKER_00: So if you want to learn all the foundations that you need, I honestly think that anybody should take this, even if they're deciding to go third party, because it's gonna give you the media training that you need and understanding of how the industry works and what you can have on hand, the clarity that you might want before you reach out to the media.
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: So this is good for somebody who wants to learn how to pitch themselves, or maybe they want to take it just to really understand, dip their toes in the water, and then eventually go third party.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: So that is something you can do.
- 50:06SPEAKER_00: And then also I do have private PR.
- 50:08SPEAKER_00: So if you're looking for a publicist and you would like to reach out to me, I'm always available.
- 50:14SPEAKER_00: I have a website, www.lydiabagarosa.com.
- 50:18SPEAKER_00: I'm sure if you type in my name and Google any which way, it'll come up.
- 50:21SPEAKER_00: It's a long Italian name.
- 50:24SPEAKER_00: And then I'm on Instagram as well, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok.
- 50:28SPEAKER_00: So you can kind of find me wherever.
- 50:30SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 50:31SPEAKER_01: Yes, I'm sure everyone will want to do that if they're not already connected with you, because you are the media magician.
- 50:38SPEAKER_01: So everyone will want to follow you.
- 50:41SPEAKER_01: Um so yeah, thank you so much for being here and just for sharing some of your, you know, vulnerable growth points and the work that we've done together.
- 50:52SPEAKER_01: I know the work that I do is really deep and it's really um intense, but I feel like you not only are you always so willing to share about it, but you've just had such amazing results.
- 51:03SPEAKER_01: It's just like so exciting to talk about it.
- 51:06SPEAKER_01: So thank you.
- 51:08SPEAKER_01: Um, thank you for being here.
- 51:09SPEAKER_01: And then, so for our last question that I ask everybody for you, what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 51:18SPEAKER_00: A non-negotiable.
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: Am I allowed to say Elise Bessine's work?
- 51:25SPEAKER_00: It really is.
- 51:26SPEAKER_00: It really, really is.
- 51:28SPEAKER_00: It's a non-negotiable.
- 51:29SPEAKER_00: It's so important.
- 51:31SPEAKER_00: I can't thank you enough for where I am today.
- 51:34SPEAKER_00: I really, really, truly feel like our work together has helped me get to this place.
- 51:40SPEAKER_00: Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart.
- 51:42SPEAKER_00: It's really difficult sometimes.
- 51:44SPEAKER_00: It's also really rewarding.
- 51:46SPEAKER_00: So any sort of self-development like Elise's is super, super important.
- 51:52SPEAKER_00: I don't mean to make this like an advertisement for you, but I'm just such a big fan.
- 51:58SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for having me on today.
- 52:00SPEAKER_00: I really, really appreciate it.
- 52:01SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, thank you.
- 52:02SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, we always joke that like I'm the head of your fan club and you're the head of my fan club.
- 52:07SPEAKER_00: So we really are.
- 52:10SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna make a t-shirt one day.
- 52:12SPEAKER_00: Just be like fan of Alice Kissine.
- 52:15SPEAKER_00: I will be coming to your retreat, so maybe I'll make a t-shirt.
- 52:17SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'll embarrass you.
- 52:19SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, please do.
- 52:20SPEAKER_01: That would be hilarious.
- 52:22SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited for the retreat, too.
- 52:24SPEAKER_01: We'll be announcing that soon.
- 52:26SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you so much, Lydia.
- 52:27SPEAKER_01: I love you so much.
- 52:28SPEAKER_01: You're amazing, and I know everyone's gonna love this.
