- 0:00So you have the kind of imagination that can take us to a place that co-creates heaven on earth, utopia for all, with the music you make, with the sounds and the music and the sound healing maybe you create, with your words and your language and your world building.
- 0:16So when I really advocate for you being seen, it's because, let's think about this.
- 0:21Let's think about...
- 0:24the unrealized potential.
- 0:25Now, when we are taught this idea, it's really framed in the individual sense that you are here to actualize your highest potential on earth so that when you get to the end of your life, you don't regret that you could have done and been more.
- 0:39And you feel like you gave your everything to this one wild, precious life in the words of Mary Oliver.
- 0:46So that is one way to see it, but it is very individualistic.
- 0:50What about at a collective level?
- 0:53Imagine we all have potential within us to be a source of love to the collective.
- 0:58So let's say I have a voice, right?
- 1:00I like to sing.
- 1:01Let's say there's a version of me who makes music that allows people to feel loved.
- 1:04Okay, so there's a potential within me.
- 1:06But then let's say I say, oh, but I'm afraid I'm not a good enough singer.
- 1:09Okay, let's say I say that.
- 1:11So now we have all the ripple effects that would have unfolded if I had made this music that make people feel loved.
- 1:17That makes people feel loved.
- 1:19And let's say you, you have stories you write.
- 1:22And these stories just open up this whimsical energy within people where they feel connected to their inner child.
- 1:27And they feel like they have incredible dreams.
- 1:29And they're suddenly seeing the world differently.
- 1:31And they're more playful.
- 1:32And they have more energy when they're around children.
- 1:34So they treat children where in a way that's more nurturing to their imagination.
- 1:38So the ripple effects of your stories is this whimsical energy that flows through you.
- 1:43So now let's say, but now you think, oh, the stories are not good enough.
- 1:45They could use more editing.
- 1:47So you don't share the stories.
- 1:48So now we have all the ripple effects of what those stories would have created in the world not happening.
- 1:53So what you can see is we're one.
- 1:55I'm one person.
- 1:55You're one person.
- 1:56You're one person.
- 1:56Eight billion of us.
- 1:58If we all have unrealized light that wants to be expressed through us, but we're so stuck in shame, fear, perfectionism that it never comes.
- 2:06That means there's a whole unrealized dimension of reality that is waiting for us to claim it.
- 2:12Ha ha.
- 2:13It's waiting for us to say this is what we want to make for each other.
- 2:20So then it becomes less about my individual potential and what I may regret at the end of my life.
- 2:25And it becomes about the collective's potential to experience love and light through me.
- 2:32And it becomes about...
- 2:37being a channel for the collective's well-being.
- 2:40And it becomes about all of us acknowledging that there is always a dormant possibility seeking to be born in each of us.
- 2:47We are a womb for creation.
- 2:49What will we give birth to?
- 2:50What will we allow ourselves to be the home of?
- 2:53And if we think about it at a small scale, it may seem like, oh, but it's just a sub-stack essay.
- 2:57It's just a song.
- 2:59It's just a photograph.
- 3:01It's just an exhibition.
- 3:02It's just an event.
- 3:03But let's, we are one.
- 3:05Let's zoom out and see all of the just songs.
- 3:08See all of the just books.
- 3:10See all of the just poems that aren't being made because we don't feel worthy of the making and then of the seeing of those things being witnessed.
- 3:18And we see that there's actually a whole other frequency we could be living on if we all stepped into that light energy of sharing what we are here to share in this lifetime.
- 3:28If we all showed up and we said, you know what?
- 3:31I have videos to make.
- 3:32I'm going to make my videos.
- 3:33Everyone has had their life changed by a video who's watching this.
- 3:36I mean, listen.
- 3:38So now imagine all those people who made the videos that are changing you.
- 3:44If they allowed the fear to stop them, then all the ripple effects just in your life that wouldn't have happened.
- 3:49And now take that out and extrapolate that to everyone else who watches their videos and look at all the potential in the collective that we are here to unlock.
- 3:59So the reason why people like you must be seen is because you help unlock our potential to be more in alignment with the highest possibility, which is love.
- 4:10Which is union, togetherness, communion, freedom, freedom, liberation.
- 4:17Okay.
- 4:18And this is the legacy we've all inherited.
- 4:20Okay.
- 4:21All of us are here in part because people have fought and lost their lives, been saved.
- 4:28Unalived to systemically create more freedom for the collective.
- 4:35Now, they might have not seen it that way in the moment, but we all stand on those shoulders.
- 4:40So who will we allow to stand on ours?
- 4:44So what you must do, I believe, is you sacrifice the ego protection in order for the soul expression.
- 4:50You say, I'm willing to be judged.
- 4:52You say, today I was doing my eyebrows and I was like, I don't like, they don't look great because, of course, we live in this toxic beauty standard.
- 5:01So I have that voice.
- 5:01I told you there's an orchestra.
- 5:03So there's that voice in my head that's always policing us.
- 5:06That's telling me, but I say, but I have a message.
- 5:09What the fuck do my eyebrows have to do with a message?
- 5:11You see, that's what they want.
- 5:13Beauty is a distracting force.
- 5:15It's trying to suck all your energy into it so that it distracts you from doing your work.
- 5:19Is my work to have eyebrows that look the way that this society and culture that's so messed up told me to look?
- 5:25No.
- 5:26And I have a lot of different forms of beauty privilege.
- 5:29Even within that context, what I'm saying is that's not my work.
- 5:32Did I come to earth to have a certain kind of eyebrow, to look a certain kind of way?
- 5:36Or do I have a message?
- 5:37And is that a distraction?
- 5:39Now, this does not take away.
- 5:40People are mean.
- 5:41People are hateful.
- 5:41There's hate comments.
- 5:42I'm not taking away from.
- 5:43I'm not saying this is easy.
- 5:46I'm saying we are sacrificing what people may say about our egos because we know that we have a soul resonance that is trying to cut through the bullshit into the light, into the heart to awaken something in someone so that they go and they write that idea down or they start that organization or they host that event.
- 6:05Right.
- 6:06Or they finally forgive themselves and say, you know what, I'm worthy of compassion and I did the best that I could with the information that I had.
- 6:11And I don't need to hold on to the shame for the rest of my life because who benefits from that?
- 6:14except the powers that be that want to shame me, okay?
- 6:17So we say, what am I here to invoke?
- 6:20What am I here to awaken?
- 6:22And therefore, if you judge my eyebrows, babes, that's okay.
- 6:25I can live with that.
- 6:27And therefore, if you say, you should have said it this way, oh, that's okay.
- 6:30If you say, why are you only quoting these kinds of people?
- 6:32That's okay.
- 6:33I accept.
- 6:35That is my cross to bear.
- 6:37I accept it.
- 6:38I say, that's fine.
- 6:39I say, it's okay.
- 6:40I say, it's okay.
- 6:40You know, in many of my interviews, because I'm now stepping into podcast interviews and many of them, I'm like, oh my goodness, I didn't say this and I didn't say that and I didn't ask that and I didn't comment this and I didn't include this and I didn't and I didn't and I didn't and I didn't and I didn't and I didn't and I didn't and it's like, oh my goodness.
- 6:56There's so much criticism.
- 6:58But I say, that is my cross to bear.
- 6:59Even if people do comment,
- 7:01You didn't do this.
- 7:02And maybe they're right because there's always a kernel of truth.
- 7:04That's what I believe in conflict resolution.
- 7:06You must always acknowledge there's a kernel of truth in what your partner is saying and what your friend is saying.
- 7:10Even if you don't like the image it reflects of you because you're like, I'm not that.
- 7:13I'm not that kind of person.
- 7:15That's not how I see myself.
- 7:16There's a kernel of truth.
- 7:18And part of their soul's purpose has been to bring it to you.
- 7:21So receive it.
- 7:22So, yes, even if people comment certain things that I don't like, there's a kernel of truth within them.
- 7:26It's painful, but there's a kernel.
- 7:28And yes, they could have said it in a kinder way.
- 7:30Yes, they could have said it in a more compassionate way, but also there is a kernel.
- 7:34Fine.
- 7:34So even if people do say that, even if people say, oh, you do this and you always do this and you don't do this enough, that is my cross to bear because I have something to share that I need that needs to be experienced.
