Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you on air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:10Speaker 2: So I was with my friends, is they're getting married,
- 0:13Speaker 2: they're engaged, and I will be the best man. I
- 0:15Speaker 2: was so excited to be offered to be the best man,
- 0:17Speaker 2: very flattered honor by that. And then as we were
- 0:20Speaker 2: sitting there, she his fiance, says to me, Ryan, you
- 0:25Speaker 2: would tell me, wouldn't you? Oh, No, tell you what
- 0:29Speaker 2: you would tell me if I was ever unfit?
- 0:31Speaker 1: Wouldn't you?
- 0:32Speaker 2: And he's there, the guys there, and I'm thinking out
- 0:36Speaker 2: of nowhere, and I'm thinking, no, I would not tell
- 0:38Speaker 2: you that. There's no chance that that question needs to
- 0:41Speaker 2: be answered by the third party here.
- 0:43Speaker 1: And why would you even say that?
- 0:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 0:45Speaker 4: Why did you want you to say anything there?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Because they're trying to get in shape for the wedding,
- 0:48Speaker 2: trying to get ready for the wedding.
- 0:50Speaker 1: But I said, no, that's not don't put that on.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Me people's bodies.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I don't call him people. No. No, And that's like
- 0:58Speaker 1: you're marrying that guy. Let that guy.
- 1:00Speaker 2: You asked that guy. This is stuff that you only
- 1:02Speaker 2: asked that guy. Yeah, I'm you could ask.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Right, weird? Right?
- 1:07Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you say that I never put that
- 1:10Speaker 2: pressure on somebody. And she's like, no, it's fine if
- 1:13Speaker 2: you do. I'm like no, she had something in her nose,
- 1:15Speaker 2: so I was like, you do have a little hanger.
- 1:19Speaker 1: But that was it.
- 1:20Speaker 2: But people that put you on the spot, don't they
- 1:22Speaker 2: do this every once and wile to you.
- 1:24Speaker 4: I don't. I don't like that at all. That would
- 1:25Speaker 4: made me feel so uncomfortable.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Do you remember me? You? No, I don't.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Please don't put me on the spot like that. I'm
- 1:33Speaker 2: not good on the spot. You don't remember? How could
- 1:36Speaker 2: you not remember?
- 1:38Speaker 1: I don't remember.
- 1:38Speaker 2: I'm just telling you. Don't ask me these things. No,
- 1:41Speaker 2: put on spot?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Please.
- 1:44Speaker 4: The mess you can do is be honest.
- 1:46Speaker 1: No, I'm not gonna be honest. You're kidding me. I
- 1:48Speaker 1: would I would never answer that question, no matter what it.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Meant, like if you remember them or not? You still
- 1:52Speaker 4: say you do you don't?
- 1:54Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, I played as long as I can. I'm like, oh,
- 1:58Speaker 1: that's right. From the where was that? It's been a
- 2:01Speaker 1: long time, right? Yeah? Somehow try and get there anyway.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Good morning morning, good we got sunshine, partly sunny again,
- 2:10Speaker 1: high in the low eighties. Now, cisany Tanya Rosa Lea
- 2:14Speaker 1: tickets every hour this morning. It's exciting.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Is such a vibe, that's going to be such a
- 2:19Speaker 4: good show.
- 2:20Speaker 1: So we got those for you. Hooking that up also
- 2:22Speaker 1: Lego Land tickets.
- 2:23Speaker 2: And if the dating apps are not working for you, Mikayla, Hi,
- 2:28Speaker 2: could it be your name?
- 2:30Speaker 1: Do we have to change your name from Mikayla to
- 2:31Speaker 1: something else? Could be we maybe changing it? Oh, I
- 2:36Speaker 1: want to get in so she can get a date.
- 2:38Speaker 5: No, no, no, no, no, I understand that, but I want
- 2:39Speaker 5: to know why the names could be an issue.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I mean, look, I've done this before, but I've gotten
- 2:44Speaker 2: into a place in my life where I cannot have
- 2:46Speaker 2: chaos in my car, Like things need to be organized,
- 2:49Speaker 2: like a water bottle rolling around will really distract me.
- 2:52Speaker 2: But there was a time where I would leave food
- 2:54Speaker 2: in the floorboard of the other seat in the car.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I would just I need something.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I'd be driving and wrap it up in the little
- 2:59Speaker 2: paper and I'd throw down there and I would leave
- 3:00Speaker 2: it there and it would smell and it would not
- 3:02Speaker 2: be great. There was a time, and then I got
- 3:04Speaker 2: past that time. But do you anybody here leave food?
- 3:07Speaker 2: Do you have anybody have food on the floorboard? Of
- 3:10Speaker 2: their car, right now, I do. Yes, I knew there
- 3:16Speaker 2: would be one.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Not in the driver's seat.
- 3:20Speaker 5: It's the it's the back row because I got you know,
- 3:23Speaker 5: three kids back there, and there's the Oh, there's food wrappers,
- 3:27Speaker 5: there's pretzel crumbs, there's just you know, if they had
- 3:30Speaker 5: pirates booty. Like I'm like, don't leave the bag in
- 3:32Speaker 5: here because it'll stink the car, like vinegar like all
- 3:35Speaker 5: that stuff.
- 3:36Speaker 2: You should be comfortable because most people I was reading,
- 3:39Speaker 2: most people do have either old food on the floorboard,
- 3:44Speaker 2: random clothes they just keep leaving there for money.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Yoh yeah, the kids sweaters, Oh my gosh, they're anxiety
- 3:49Speaker 5: like something that's been back there.
- 3:51Speaker 1: A slipper, yeah, stuff that just gets It's just and
- 3:53Speaker 1: it stays forever. Most people have all of that, or
- 3:56Speaker 1: bottles or cans.
- 3:58Speaker 2: So we do not clean our cars out like we
- 4:01Speaker 2: just let it be like a junk drawer.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:03Speaker 5: And when I do, gosh, it feels so nice, like
- 4:05Speaker 5: a weight it's been lifting off my shoulder and then
- 4:07Speaker 5: it stays me.
- 4:10Speaker 1: You come with me. You can only carry on one item.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I know that right.
- 4:14Speaker 2: It's one item because if you bring on all that
- 4:16Speaker 2: other stuff. Then I'm for sure to have that stuff
- 4:18Speaker 2: stuck there and I can't distracts me.
- 4:21Speaker 1: But most people have all that stuff on their floorboard.
- 4:23Speaker 1: What what taco? What burger? What fries? Smell? Oh yeah,
- 4:26Speaker 1: he's on your It's so right.
- 4:28Speaker 5: A French fry can like live for years in your
- 4:31Speaker 5: car floorboard.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Cereal stains, chips, fruit stains. You are in the norm,
- 4:38Speaker 2: all right. So let's go back to Sophia. She is
- 4:40Speaker 2: a is somebody sophomore junior? What are you now?
- 4:41Speaker 6: I'm a junior junior?
- 4:43Speaker 1: Junior? Now at what's that school? You see? He is
- 4:47Speaker 1: that right?
- 4:48Speaker 4: Yes?
- 4:48Speaker 6: You see Riverside?
- 4:49Speaker 1: I got it? Well, I got lolled over there? Where
- 4:51Speaker 1: are you at? Where are you going?
- 4:52Speaker 6: Kelsey north Rich?
- 4:53Speaker 1: It's a lot to keep up with you too? In
- 4:54Speaker 1: these kids?
- 4:56Speaker 2: So burnout at twenty one, like burnout is something that
- 5:00Speaker 2: people talk about when they get their jobs.
- 5:02Speaker 1: A lot.
- 5:02Speaker 2: You get your job, it's a routine that's mundane. You
- 5:04Speaker 2: get burnt out. How do you break through burnout? But
- 5:07Speaker 2: to be burnt out at twenty one, that's early? So
- 5:10Speaker 2: what's burning you out?
- 5:11Speaker 6: I think it's just school in general.
- 5:13Speaker 7: We're getting to the halfway point of the quarter, and
- 5:17Speaker 7: every time we get here, it's just kind of so
- 5:19Speaker 7: hard to just push through and finish and keep going.
- 5:23Speaker 6: So I don't know, I'm feeling kind of demotivated.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Yeah, so you probably don't want to hear from me
- 5:28Speaker 2: because I got there and just quit. I had the burnout,
- 5:33Speaker 2: I had the boredom, and I just dropped out at nineteen,
- 5:38Speaker 2: So I probably shouldn't give you Guys, are there things
- 5:40Speaker 2: that you can do? Like the students talk about things
- 5:42Speaker 2: that can break the burnout, like stuff you can do.
- 5:44Speaker 7: Yeah, So I've been trying to find like new ways
- 5:46Speaker 7: and doing research of what's going to work, and I
- 5:49Speaker 7: found that these could help. So finding a new study
- 5:52Speaker 7: spot that you've never tried before. So I usually go
- 5:54Speaker 7: to the library or I study in my room, but
- 5:57Speaker 7: recently I've been going to a cute coffee shop and
- 5:59Speaker 7: then all getting my coffee.
- 6:01Speaker 5: So that's that's interesting. It like it resets your mindset
- 6:05Speaker 5: and something.
- 6:05Speaker 7: Okay, it's like a change of scenery. And then also
- 6:08Speaker 7: I've been studying in groups, which usually I just talk
- 6:12Speaker 7: and talk and talk, but this time we like all
- 6:14Speaker 7: put our headphones in and we kind of hold each
- 6:16Speaker 7: other accountable wall.
- 6:17Speaker 1: You put your headphones and listen to music.
- 6:19Speaker 7: Yeah, but like as long as you're with somebody that
- 6:22Speaker 7: can like keep you accountable and do like little check in.
- 6:24Speaker 4: It's like a support system.
- 6:26Speaker 2: My brain will not let me memorize if music is
- 6:29Speaker 2: going into my ears.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Oh, I really can't do it. Yeah, I tried.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I can't read a book with music. I can't listen
- 6:36Speaker 2: to I can't. I can't either it's weird.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Or the TVs on.
- 6:40Speaker 4: I have to pause it, like I need even in.
- 6:42Speaker 2: The car, if I need to think of something, I
- 6:44Speaker 2: have to turn down the radio for silence to think.
- 6:47Speaker 4: That's so interesting.
- 6:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm the completely opposite.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Same if you're being burnt out. Now this is the
- 6:52Speaker 2: first of many. Now, like, how old are you?
- 6:54Speaker 6: I'm nineteen.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Are you burnt out? You cannot be burnt out?
- 7:01Speaker 4: School's hard.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Are you studying?
- 7:04Speaker 6: I'm in communications?
- 7:07Speaker 1: Well that's fitting here we are, I know, communicating.
- 7:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm really really.
- 7:11Speaker 1: But but is it a big load you're taking?
- 7:13Speaker 6: Honestly, No, I'm not.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I'm not talking back to you, Sophia, she can't relate.
- 7:19Speaker 2: All right, what's what's the number one thing you think
- 7:21Speaker 2: you can do that you will do that. It'll help
- 7:23Speaker 2: you with a burnout.
- 7:25Speaker 7: I think, just take time to myself and take time
- 7:28Speaker 7: away from studying, like just do something completely different like
- 7:32Speaker 7: hang out with friends, go shopping, get a coffee, just
- 7:35Speaker 7: get my mind off of studying and then come back.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not gonna work. Good luck. It's gonna be
- 7:39Speaker 1: good for your mental health. I don't think that's gonna
- 7:40Speaker 1: help so much. All right. You see, have you been
- 7:44Speaker 1: burnt out?
- 7:45Speaker 2: No, if you're, if you're, we're not burned out because
- 7:46Speaker 2: we actually get to do what we love, right, I
- 7:48Speaker 2: guess we like it. So you'll get there, Get through
- 7:50Speaker 2: this class, get through that decolonizing Film cinema class, and
- 7:54Speaker 2: you get there, all right.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Coming up next, the most attractive names. MICHAELA.
- 7:58Speaker 2: You may have to change your name to get traction
- 8:01Speaker 2: on a dating app. Kim So, I got a quote
- 8:04Speaker 2: of the day, and if you're on a dating app
- 8:06Speaker 2: and it's not going well, it could be your name.
- 8:09Speaker 2: They really are pushing this, the most attractive names for
- 8:12Speaker 2: men and women. They put these out, and they did,
- 8:16Speaker 2: they put these out. These these names get more tractions.
- 8:19Speaker 2: So Michayla, see how they sound to you. Alex Daniel, Lucas, Carlos, James.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Those are the male names to get the most traction
- 8:29Speaker 2: on any of the dating apps.
- 8:31Speaker 6: Okay, the way, I don't think.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Lucas.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I will agree with Tanya.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I try to avoid meeting anyone named Lucas because they're
- 8:43Speaker 2: always super hot.
- 8:44Speaker 4: But like Daniel doesn't do anything for me.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Well, here are the women. Carlos the most swipes. These
- 8:51Speaker 2: women names get the most swipes. Whatever you do on
- 8:54Speaker 2: those things on dating apps. Maria, Laura, Anna, Sarah, and.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Sophia, they all ends.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Is that true, Sophia, Yeah, it is true. You know what, Tony,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I want to I want to be Lucas some days too.
- 9:23Speaker 5: I know.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Lucas, I could picture him as a Lucas.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Thank you, Lucas Seacrest. Oh my gosh, I'd be so dude.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Like Yes, today's quote, discipline is choosing between what you
- 9:38Speaker 2: want now and what you want most.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Yes, this is kiss Sabrina. Kiss it m all right?
- 9:50Speaker 2: Another round of red flag or green flag? How do
- 9:53Speaker 2: you feel about someone who still shares a phone plan
- 9:56Speaker 2: with an AX? We got to go there After seven
- 9:58Speaker 2: o'clock Kiss FM with the headline FM Headlines with siciny.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Well FedEx filed a lawsuit against the US government seeking
- 10:06Speaker 5: a full refund of the tariffs it paid under trade
- 10:09Speaker 5: policies that the Supreme Court ruled illegal last week. Savannah
- 10:14Speaker 5: Guthrie says her family is offering a reward of up
- 10:17Speaker 5: to one million dollars for the recovery of their mom,
- 10:20Speaker 5: Nancy Guthrie.
- 10:21Speaker 4: The City of la will be renaming.
- 10:24Speaker 5: The intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and Slawson Avenue after the
- 10:28Speaker 5: late rapper Nipsey Hustle, and the former ninety nine cents
- 10:32Speaker 5: Sports on Wilshire and Fairfax has been reimagined as an
- 10:37Speaker 5: art exhibit, which will be opened through Sunday.
- 10:41Speaker 2: So people pleasing is exhausting. It takes stuff from you. However,
- 10:47Speaker 2: I can't stop. I really want to make sure everyone
- 10:50Speaker 2: who is in my orbit has what they need, is happy,
- 10:57Speaker 2: is comfortable, even more so than myself.
- 11:01Speaker 1: And I've said that for a long time.
- 11:02Speaker 2: It's a reason I don't have you guys over too much,
- 11:04Speaker 2: because I don't relax, you know.
- 11:10Speaker 4: That's the reason.
- 11:11Speaker 1: That's the reason we should though.
- 11:13Speaker 8: Actually my friends were talking about it this weekend and
- 11:15Speaker 8: they were like, we miss Ryan because they really feel
- 11:18Speaker 8: like you guys all bonded.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Well, invite me there, I'll relax. Coming to mind, Why
- 11:24Speaker 2: don't we even talk about guess what's going on with
- 11:25Speaker 2: Justin Bieber?
- 11:26Speaker 1: Haley Bieber?
- 11:26Speaker 9: So.
- 11:26Speaker 8: Haley Bieber was a guest on Jake Shane's podcast, and
- 11:29Speaker 8: the combo kind of went to being a people pleaser.
- 11:32Speaker 8: And I think a lot of people can relate to
- 11:34Speaker 8: Haley's sentiment. She said, I'm such a people pleaser, and
- 11:36Speaker 8: I struggle with that. I hate people being mad at me.
- 11:39Speaker 8: I get such bad anxiety. I hate feeling like I
- 11:42Speaker 8: have issues with people. I would rather squash anything, figure
- 11:45Speaker 8: anything out, just to have clear slates with anyone and everyone.
- 11:50Speaker 8: And I feel like a lot of people are people pleasers.
- 11:54Speaker 8: And I don't know it just it creates the A word,
- 11:57Speaker 8: which is anxiety, and I feel like that is so oh,
- 12:00Speaker 8: that's like the biggest thing that you don't want your life.
- 12:02Speaker 8: You want to try to limit an anxiety and stress,
- 12:04Speaker 8: But like, what what is it? And like, how do
- 12:06Speaker 8: you combat being a people pleaser?
- 12:09Speaker 1: You?
- 12:09Speaker 2: I don't I've battled with this for a long time,
- 12:11Speaker 2: but I actually think of all the things that you
- 12:14Speaker 2: could have as a trade.
- 12:15Speaker 1: This is not a bad one.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Yeah, this is a league.
- 12:18Speaker 2: It's a great one and a partner. It's a great
- 12:20Speaker 2: one and a friend, and it shows that you can't. Yeah,
- 12:24Speaker 2: and those who do it we like, I really do
- 12:26Speaker 2: like to go to great deed, like if you were,
- 12:28Speaker 2: if you're a friend of mine, I know little specific things.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I write it down on a little notebook of what
- 12:34Speaker 2: you like or when you're at my house, what you
- 12:36Speaker 2: like to do, or what you like to snack on.
- 12:38Speaker 2: But it is exhausting in a way. But it's also
- 12:40Speaker 2: like it's just like I like it. But it does
- 12:44Speaker 2: give me the a word.
- 12:45Speaker 8: Yeah, Like if I think somebody's upset with me, I
- 12:48Speaker 8: will stew in it and stewing it and stewing it
- 12:51Speaker 8: until I like have a conversation with them and I'm like,
- 12:54Speaker 8: it affects my whole day.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Yeah, And I don't like that.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Well, you can fix that. You have a therapist, I think,
- 12:59Speaker 2: don't you. Yeah, I don't fix that.
- 13:02Speaker 4: It's a hard thing to fix.
- 13:03Speaker 2: But of all the things to cause anxiety, this is
- 13:06Speaker 2: what I'm keeping. I like this one for you, not me,
- 13:09Speaker 2: but for you.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Okay, perfect a neo kiss that that all right?
- 13:13Speaker 2: So we often talk about when you meet someone red
- 13:18Speaker 2: flags and green flags, and when someone throws up a
- 13:22Speaker 2: red flag, it's not great because you want to like
- 13:24Speaker 2: that person, but they red flag you with something so
- 13:26Speaker 2: early that you can't get past it, and that's stuck
- 13:28Speaker 2: in your mind. Right, and I have dumb red flags sometimes,
- 13:32Speaker 2: like little things can red flag And I is it
- 13:36Speaker 2: just because like am I small minded?
- 13:37Speaker 1: I don't know?
- 13:39Speaker 2: Maybe so Mikaela Jordan single people, right, let's hit that's all.
- 13:44Speaker 2: We got three of us. Well, let's what is poppin'.
- 13:50Speaker 4: It's the question.
- 13:52Speaker 2: So I want to ask you a couple popping questions.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Here are these red or green flags? You we right,
- 13:59Speaker 2: meet someone and they don't drink anything alcoholic at all ever?
- 14:05Speaker 1: Red or green?
- 14:06Speaker 10: I think that's a green flag, But I'd also want
- 14:08Speaker 10: to know why, like is there a backstory?
- 14:12Speaker 1: Jordan?
- 14:13Speaker 5: I think it's a red flag, Like, well, you don't
- 14:15Speaker 5: like having fun?
- 14:17Speaker 2: Look, if you have an issue, then that's a green flag.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I can't date someone that doesn't want to have something
- 14:24Speaker 2: every once in a while is like it's fun. I
- 14:27Speaker 2: want to go have a margarita on a Friday. I
- 14:29Speaker 2: want to have a taste of wine, like we would
- 14:32Speaker 2: not be probably together. But if you have an issue
- 14:35Speaker 2: with it green flag, but Sisney, you wouldn't be with
- 14:40Speaker 2: somebody doesn't drink anything.
- 14:42Speaker 4: No, not initially, but if O come on.
- 14:46Speaker 5: But I don't know. I just feel like nowadays everyone's
- 14:49Speaker 5: so health conscious and like it's it's not that big
- 14:52Speaker 5: of a deal to not drink.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe it's because I would feel bad about me.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Maybe it's that I don't know.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Yeah, interesting, next one red flag, green flag? Single people here?
- 15:02Speaker 1: How many? Just three of us?
- 15:04Speaker 11: All three?
- 15:06Speaker 2: They don't know pop culture, never heard of heated rivalry.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I don't care. That's I don't care. That is not
- 15:12Speaker 2: a flag for me at all.
- 15:13Speaker 10: That's a red flag for me. I feel like my
- 15:15Speaker 10: world is entertainment. Like if you can't relate or talk
- 15:17Speaker 10: to me about like what's going on, like.
- 15:19Speaker 2: No, yeah, I want to need someone that doesn't know
- 15:22Speaker 2: any of that stuff and.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Not talk about what I think that makes you a
- 15:25Speaker 4: boring person.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I'm get tapped in. No, I do it all day
- 15:31Speaker 1: with you guys.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I do not need my partner to be talking about
- 15:34Speaker 2: heated rivalry.
- 15:35Speaker 6: Oh my gosh.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Yeah, let's watch the clips on TikTok.
- 15:40Speaker 4: I did the guy once.
- 15:41Speaker 8: I didn't have a television and that was crazy business.
- 15:45Speaker 2: See, that would not bother me. And if I'm on TV,
- 15:47Speaker 2: I think that's so cool.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Oh no, that's a red flag.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Really, Yes, computer screen though, I.
- 15:56Speaker 6: Guess that's different.
- 15:57Speaker 10: But like I love watching movies and TV shows, you know.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Maybe a peron red, red, red flag, green flag? All right?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Single people only? Please? Who is that three of us? Okay,
- 16:07Speaker 1: come on, just.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Turn my mic off.
- 16:10Speaker 1: They prefer staying in over going out. Red or green.
- 16:14Speaker 10: Oh I feel like that's it's a red flag at first,
- 16:20Speaker 10: because what are you hiding?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Hiding? Why do you want to go out with you? No,
- 16:25Speaker 1: they want the quality time with you. They don't need
- 16:28Speaker 1: everything else. It's a green.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Flag, I say red.
- 16:32Speaker 5: I've been on that side of the tracks, Like you
- 16:35Speaker 5: cannot get too comfortable.
- 16:36Speaker 4: It's not looking cute.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Really, that's all I want is to get too comfortable and.
- 16:42Speaker 4: You can't be in your sweatpants like on the first day.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I want to be in my so bad. All right,
- 16:49Speaker 2: Well that was interesting. We had opposite opinions and that's
- 16:52Speaker 2: why I'm only or single?
- 16:55Speaker 4: All right, let it out.
- 16:57Speaker 2: No, that was just me being honest. Now coming on
- 17:00Speaker 2: the tickets to Lego Land. We have a four packs.
- 17:04Speaker 2: That means Jordan, you can go alone and I can
- 17:07Speaker 2: go alone. And with Calean we can bring one more
- 17:09Speaker 2: person next day.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Kiss.
- 17:11Speaker 2: We're gonna play this game called which city has more
- 17:14Speaker 2: for Lego atlant tickets right now?
- 17:16Speaker 1: And I got Freddy on the line. Hi, Freddy, Hey,
- 17:18Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 17:19Speaker 11: Ryan?

- 17:24Speaker 12: Man, I always I see you.
- 17:26Speaker 11: And I hear you. Man, I never talked to you.
- 17:28Speaker 1: And here we are. So what are you up to today?

- 17:33Speaker 12: I'm driving, got.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Uh semi eighteen eighteen. Yes, sir, you got a cab
- 17:43Speaker 1: in the back sleeper uh no.
- 17:45Speaker 13: Double double trailers that carry the rocks that break your
- 17:47Speaker 13: windows every time you get behind me.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Okay, I got you here, Okay, I understood. All right,
- 17:54Speaker 2: Well focus here. We're gonna play a little game for
- 17:56Speaker 2: Lego Land tickets. It's called which city has more?
- 18:00Speaker 1: Which city has more?
- 18:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you a chain of stores and two cities.
- 18:07Speaker 2: You tell me which has more. So today's chain is Starbucks.
- 18:11Speaker 1: All right, Starbucks, you gotta get three rights before you
- 18:14Speaker 1: get three wrong. So here we go.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Which city has more Starbucks? Pasadena or Long Beach Pasadena?
- 18:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's wrong. Actually no, they're nineteen. Long Beach
- 18:27Speaker 2: is twenty one, all right. Whittier or Downy, Which city
- 18:35Speaker 2: has more Starbucks?
- 18:38Speaker 1: Tough, Wittier, that is correct. Eleven you got nice? Next
- 18:45Speaker 1: Weaverside or Burbank, which has more Starbucks. I gotta go
- 18:50Speaker 1: a Burbank, bigger, No, no, a now focused two more,
- 18:56Speaker 1: gotta get these.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Freddy driving his eighteen wheel a red now through Upland,
- 19:01Speaker 2: Pacoima or La Puente, which has more Starbucks? I would
- 19:09Speaker 2: say the other one. Oh yeah, that's it, you got it.
- 19:14Speaker 2: You got three to five. Okay, Now for the win, Freddy.
- 19:20Speaker 2: City in southern California has more Starbucks? Anaheim or Santa Monica.
- 19:27Speaker 11: It should be an.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Starbucks. Congratulations, you're going to Lego Land, Freddy. Appreciate me. Hey, Sysneya,
- 19:37Speaker 1: I love you guys.
- 19:39Speaker 11: You guys, have a good day. Appreciate you guys.
- 19:42Speaker 2: You anybody, thank you for listening to us. Enjoy Lego
- 19:46Speaker 2: Land and drive safely, buddy.
- 19:48Speaker 1: The kids will appreciate it, all right. I love those
- 19:53Speaker 1: cabs and eighteen wheelers. So they got the beds in
- 19:55Speaker 1: the back and stuff.
- 19:56Speaker 4: You go in one.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Usually I don't go in one, but I want you
- 20:00Speaker 2: want to go in and like, if anybody has one
- 20:01Speaker 2: and wan andvite me into.
- 20:02Speaker 4: One, I can get a tour. See what it's like.
- 20:04Speaker 1: So sick, right, you used to pull over a crash
- 20:08Speaker 1: out wake up right there on the road again. Someone
- 20:11Speaker 1: look like they have other things in there. I don't
- 20:12Speaker 1: know what else, teruble bunks.
- 20:16Speaker 9: Anyway, Kilottie folded on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 20:25Speaker 1: So let's talk about this, Sophia.
- 20:26Speaker 2: You have roommates that will borrow your clothes and you're
- 20:29Speaker 2: fine with that, but they don't give them back timely.
- 20:33Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 7: Well, one of my friends, every single time we go
- 20:36Speaker 7: out or we go to an event or something like that,
- 20:38Speaker 7: she comes over and just immediately starts looking through my
- 20:41Speaker 7: closet without asking, without asking, She's just like, okay, I'll
- 20:44Speaker 7: just help myself, and you know, she goes, she finds
- 20:46Speaker 7: a cute shirt, she finds maybe a skirt, like.
- 20:49Speaker 6: Head to toe.
- 20:50Speaker 7: She's in my clothes right and I'm like, okay, Like
- 20:55Speaker 7: she's my friend, I'm gonna.
- 20:56Speaker 6: Let her do it.
- 20:57Speaker 7: If I was to see the close again, but she
- 21:01Speaker 7: takes them home and I never see them again.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Okay, so first of all, you need to have boundaries
- 21:08Speaker 2: with your room and your drawers. They cannot feel so
- 21:11Speaker 2: comfortable they can just walk in and take your things.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Now this is common.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I have a friend maybe I dated her, and she
- 21:18Speaker 2: had a log because the same.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Thing would happen to her.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Her roommates would borrow her clothes and they would not
- 21:25Speaker 2: come back for a long time. They would actually keep them,
- 21:28Speaker 2: clean them and reuse them again.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Oh yeah, oh yeah, different events.
- 21:34Speaker 2: So she keeps a log and she has a Nest
- 21:36Speaker 2: camera in her room. Wow, so she catches them if
- 21:40Speaker 2: they come in and take anything, It's fantastic.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I will gift you one of these cameras. Then they're
- 21:45Speaker 1: on camera.
- 21:46Speaker 2: And you also just have to say, like the expectation,
- 21:48Speaker 2: you can borrow that, but I need it back by
- 21:50Speaker 2: Wednesday and it needs to be cleaned, like.
- 21:54Speaker 8: Yeah, or just ask for it back. Like I borrowed
- 21:57Speaker 8: a dress from Beecca like a year ago and she
- 21:59Speaker 8: needed it for some event this week and she's like,
- 22:01Speaker 8: do you still have my blong black dress? And I
- 22:02Speaker 8: was like, oh yeah, shoot, sorry, and I gave it
- 22:05Speaker 8: back to her, but you.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Really forgot you borrowed her dress and had it in
- 22:08Speaker 2: your closet because I drank.
- 22:10Speaker 8: Like I got it cleaned and then I put it
- 22:11Speaker 8: back in my closet and just just forgot, Like I
- 22:14Speaker 8: still have a dress that I borrowed from.
- 22:16Speaker 4: A friend for jingle ball.
- 22:17Speaker 8: I don't even know what jingle you're this person, I
- 22:20Speaker 8: am this person.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Please say, Mark, you and I have never had a
- 22:25Speaker 2: conversation like this in our lives. I don't think I've
- 22:28Speaker 2: ever bought anything from you or anybody. I've never said
- 22:31Speaker 2: to another guy, brow brow that flannel.
- 22:34Speaker 1: No, really, this is something.
- 22:36Speaker 4: That girls do, Like I know.
- 22:37Speaker 5: I know if my friend Taja is going to borrow
- 22:39Speaker 5: anything from me, it's like goodbye, I'll never see that again.
- 22:42Speaker 4: It's fine, I've parted ways with it.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Whatever, keep a log. So if you keep a log,
- 22:47Speaker 2: I'm telling you all right, Mark. I also I look
- 22:51Speaker 2: at your clothes and think, no one minute Rose tickets.
- 22:57Speaker 2: It's good Gray Sky Kiss FM, great silent treatment. So
- 23:02Speaker 2: usually I'm pretty up on the dating trends.
- 23:04Speaker 1: MICHAELA. Have you ordered this dating trend called clear coding?
- 23:07Speaker 3: I have?
- 23:09Speaker 1: Who else has sing it Jordan. Have you heard of this? Uh?
- 23:14Speaker 4: No, I have not.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Okay, we're about to learn about this.
- 23:18Speaker 2: So it's a dating trend called clear coding, and it
- 23:22Speaker 2: has to do with just being upfront and transparents.
- 23:24Speaker 5: Yes, it's about putting your actual intentions out there, whether
- 23:28Speaker 5: you want a serious relation chip right out the gate,
- 23:31Speaker 5: or if you want something casual, like you say it
- 23:33Speaker 5: like you could either put it like some people are
- 23:35Speaker 5: taking it the step to just putting it in their
- 23:37Speaker 5: bio on dating apps and being very direct like I'm
- 23:41Speaker 5: casually dating or I really want a serious relationship. Basically,
- 23:45Speaker 5: don't come at me if you're not going to be
- 23:46Speaker 5: one of these, or you just bring it up on
- 23:49Speaker 5: your first date like you lay down. I won't say
- 23:52Speaker 5: the rules, but like you kind of lay down your
- 23:54Speaker 5: intentions on that first date. So there's no wishy washy
- 23:57Speaker 5: like oh should I wait three hours to text back
- 23:59Speaker 5: or like this.
- 23:59Speaker 4: That the gray area for lack of a better word
- 24:03Speaker 4: or term.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Got the confidence to do it, and you're in that
- 24:06Speaker 2: space to do it.
- 24:07Speaker 1: It is great. It's time saver, traffic. You save time.
- 24:11Speaker 1: People are very clear, you know, I mean, I've like
- 24:16Speaker 1: I could say that I could where do I put
- 24:18Speaker 1: this on my.
- 24:21Speaker 4: I can make a profile for you on a dating app.
- 24:23Speaker 4: That would be so good.
- 24:25Speaker 2: I would like to not date around, like to meet
- 24:28Speaker 2: somebody that's like going to be the partner.
- 24:30Speaker 1: You know, you go put it up there.
- 24:32Speaker 5: There is no up there. You're not on the dating app.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Well, this is it. I'm telling you out loud.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I think this is great. Be upfront, be transparent, don't
- 24:42Speaker 2: waste time. Exactly, fantastic trend of dating track. Ashley Hawthorne,
- 24:49Speaker 2: Good morning, Good morning. So you are calling your mother
- 24:55Speaker 2: in law got you insulting socks?
- 24:59Speaker 1: Is that the issue?
- 25:01Speaker 11: Yeah? I know, I no, And I know maybe I'm
- 25:08Speaker 11: being too sensitive or if like maybe maybe I'm being
- 25:11Speaker 11: too sensitive, maybe this is actually weird. I just need
- 25:14Speaker 11: your advice. But so, my mother in law got me
- 25:17Speaker 11: these socks for my birthday and they have all these
- 25:20Speaker 11: funny sayings on them, but I don't know the sayings,
- 25:25Speaker 11: just like don't feel very funny to me. And they
- 25:27Speaker 11: say things like currently overthinking or easily annoyed, or work
- 25:34Speaker 11: in progress and hide maintenance and yeah yeah, And everyone
- 25:40Speaker 11: laughed when I opened them, including her, and she said, it's.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Just a joke.
- 25:43Speaker 11: Which like if we had a really good relationship, that
- 25:46Speaker 11: would make sense to me, I guess, but I already
- 25:49Speaker 11: feel like she doesn't like me. So it just didn't
- 25:51Speaker 11: feel playful at all. It felt like really pointed and
- 25:56Speaker 11: like she was like describing me and not just giving
- 25:57Speaker 11: me socks. And so I'm torn. I'm in this place
- 26:01Speaker 11: where I'm like, do I just laugh it off? Let
- 26:02Speaker 11: it go?
- 26:03Speaker 4: Is this something that, yes, what are you gonna try
- 26:08Speaker 4: to get into this?
- 26:09Speaker 11: No?
- 26:09Speaker 2: I think she's actually showing a sense of humor with
- 26:13Speaker 2: all of this. I think she's actually making an effort
- 26:16Speaker 2: with all of this to be to have some levity,
- 26:19Speaker 2: to have some fun, to be a bit clever. I
- 26:21Speaker 2: don't think this is you don't push back on this.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I would not. What good is pushed back on this?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Zero good?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Let her think you think they're so adorably cute and
- 26:31Speaker 2: funny that she likes you more.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so easy.
- 26:36Speaker 4: It's like where I wish I had a mother in law.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Oh, I mean in this call or in this call.
- 26:45Speaker 1: So actually, let it be a breakthrough moment where you
- 26:50Speaker 1: get closer to her. You see, it's an opportunity.
- 26:54Speaker 11: It's true versus like having my husband, Like you think
- 26:58Speaker 11: if I had my husband gently say something to her that,
- 27:00Speaker 11: like my feelings, it is the wrong direction.
- 27:03Speaker 1: That's only going to cause more tension in the relationship.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Bad idea. Don't do that. Accept this and use this
- 27:12Speaker 1: as a way to charm her a little bit.
- 27:14Speaker 5: Yes, and the next time you see her where the
- 27:16Speaker 5: socks show her like at my fucks got them?
- 27:19Speaker 1: Trust, trust and trust.
- 27:23Speaker 11: I also like, don't really want to be wearing socks
- 27:25Speaker 11: that say like overthinking is my cardio.
- 27:27Speaker 2: You know, I just make it peaceful with your mother
- 27:30Speaker 2: in law. It's so easy. Good luck, Ashley perfect. She
- 27:37Speaker 2: did not want to hear that. No, she did not no,
- 27:40Speaker 2: But that's exactly what you should do. Use it as
- 27:42Speaker 2: an opportunity to leverage closeness.
- 27:45Speaker 9: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 27:51Speaker 2: A right concept them secrets here, Rosalie tickets in a second.
- 27:56Speaker 2: You know this happens to me all the time. I
- 27:58Speaker 2: test my gas gauge when it tells me I'm out,
- 28:01Speaker 2: I keep driving because I think it's not telling me
- 28:03Speaker 2: the actual truth.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I think there's more there.
- 28:06Speaker 2: The problem is I don't want to risk it so
- 28:07Speaker 2: much that I find out how much is left when
- 28:10Speaker 2: it says there is none left.
- 28:11Speaker 1: But there is some left. There is something.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I don't want to always be that person. I should
- 28:16Speaker 2: fill it up when it gets red. But I kind
- 28:18Speaker 2: of like this game of like you're gonna tell me
- 28:20Speaker 2: it's empty, but it's not.
- 28:22Speaker 1: But how not can it be if I keep driving?
- 28:25Speaker 2: So two types of people, those who fill it up
- 28:27Speaker 2: on a regular they're very prudent about it.
- 28:31Speaker 1: And those of us that play the game Ruby you
- 28:33Speaker 1: play the game right, a game with your gas.
- 28:35Speaker 13: You live to play the game. And I'm like, why
- 28:37Speaker 13: am I like this? Like what made me this kind
- 28:40Speaker 13: of person? Where I literally like love to play the game.
- 28:43Speaker 13: It is a literal game to me. I'm like, I
- 28:45Speaker 13: can do it. I see I have twenty miles, okay, cool,
- 28:48Speaker 13: ten miles one mile. I did it yesterday on my
- 28:51Speaker 13: way into work, and I was like, I have five
- 28:53Speaker 13: miles left.
- 28:54Speaker 4: I will make it.
- 28:54Speaker 9: Yeah, I.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Think I do it in hopes someone will just need
- 29:00Speaker 2: to use my car and then see that it needs
- 29:03Speaker 2: build up.
- 29:04Speaker 4: That's my move.
- 29:06Speaker 2: I just want to find someone, you know, I'll invite
- 29:08Speaker 2: people over to stay overnight.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Oh you don't borrow my card more morning.
- 29:13Speaker 6: Miller up exactly.
- 29:15Speaker 2: But then like, my mother is so diligent about it.
- 29:18Speaker 2: You know, if it gets down to a quarter left,
- 29:21Speaker 2: she's got to stop, my mom.
- 29:23Speaker 1: We do not have to stop right now. Yes, Ryan,
- 29:25Speaker 1: we do.
- 29:25Speaker 4: That's Michael. That's me too. I let it ride down
- 29:29Speaker 4: to the one mile and I'm like, okay, windows.
- 29:31Speaker 5: Down, hasty, just roll, don't gas so hard.
- 29:35Speaker 6: We're good.
- 29:36Speaker 4: We're good recruising gas.
- 29:38Speaker 2: It's a hassle. It's not a fun thing to do it.
- 29:41Speaker 2: When has it ever been fun? The one that finds
- 29:42Speaker 2: the store inside.
- 29:43Speaker 1: It's like a chore, all right, two types of people.
- 29:49Speaker 2: So you know, the IR radio app has the red
- 29:51Speaker 2: microphone inside of it. You can send us talkbacks basically
- 29:55Speaker 2: voice notes. And Sophia, our intern, you were telling us
- 29:58Speaker 2: about a currig machine right for you and your roommates.
- 30:01Speaker 6: Yes, I did, with.
- 30:03Speaker 2: The understanding that they would buy the cups, you'd buy
- 30:06Speaker 2: the machine.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Three weeks they bought no cups.
- 30:08Speaker 2: It's been all you, Kim and Laguna Beach is upset
- 30:11Speaker 2: with your roommates.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Hi, this is Kim again here in Laguna and Miguel Tanya.
- 30:17Speaker 3: I'm not bagging on you this time, and I'm not
- 30:19Speaker 3: even bagging on Sophia, but suggestion, buy a small box,
- 30:24Speaker 3: hide them in your room and make yourself a cup
- 30:26Speaker 3: of coffee while they're watching. Oh, do not share your pots.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Just my advice.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Have a great dates.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Speak like that to them is the next level. I'm
- 30:40Speaker 2: into it. I think you should.
- 30:41Speaker 1: I like it, I think I should do right.
- 30:44Speaker 2: I mean, these guys are not playing by the rules.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Tired of these roommates, tired of the boyfriend who's not
- 30:49Speaker 2: a boyfriend right now. Next, we were talking about how
- 30:51Speaker 2: hard adulting can be for all of us.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Maria in the six to sixth one here she is.
- 30:58Speaker 6: You guys are so right.
- 30:59Speaker 12: I get a dent's office, and you be surprised how
- 31:03Speaker 12: many parents for people who are like twenty six, are
- 31:08Speaker 12: still calling just to make their dentist appointments or you know,
- 31:12Speaker 12: order pizza if people get scared to order pizza, which
- 31:14Speaker 12: is crazy adulting.
- 31:16Speaker 1: It's very difficult. All our friends is gonna wrap it
- 31:19Speaker 1: up for us. Thank you for being here.
- 31:21Speaker 2: So tomorrow, Sisney Tani, it is a Ryan's roses. She
