The first paper is “The 5R’s of large language model-assisted diagnosis: A practical framework for hospitalists,” by Peter Barish, Andrew Auerbach, and Sumant Ranji, published in the Journal of Hospital Medicine in 2026. A faculty member Núria works with sent it to her while they were choosing between frameworks of their own, one of which had four Rs.
