Latest / Podcast - Big 98.7 / Gross secrets people who have worked at a restaurant are keeping
Transcript
- 0:00Yeah, So we were talking a little off air. We've both worked in
- 0:07the food service industry, and I assembled on this article of a lot of
- 0:10people on right at talking about dark secrets that you just don't want to talk
- 0:15about because when you're in it and you're working in it, you're just it's
- 0:18like you're in a bubble. But when you're ordering it a restaurant, I
- 0:20just don't even want to think about it. I imagine that it's not happening
- 0:24at every restaurant, right right, isn't that how you feel? Even though
- 0:27you worked for so long in the region. At this point, I realized
- 0:30that everything that I did made no one sick. So whatever they do to
- 0:34me, I'm fine. You're like, I got a good immune system.
- 0:37I'm here. I'm here not because I want some sort of a clean meal.
- 0:40I'm here because I don't want to cook for myself. Well, if
- 0:43you worked in the industry and do you want to chime in on some secrets,
- 0:46you don't need to tell us where please, but seven one two eight
- 0:49one ninety eight seven feel free to chime in, or you can always shoot
- 0:52us a text. We got a message here from somebody that said I've seen
- 0:55dead mice, clogging dish sinks, a pipe from upstairs in the bathroom toilet
- 1:00dripping down onto the flat top grill. The manager told me, quote,
- 1:06just scoot over the food like over to the side and just keep cooking.
- 1:08It's like, yeah, no big deal, just don't use that spot.
- 1:12Oh so gross. I wouldn't even think for me. You'd think a coffee
- 1:18bar not even a big deal. No, there's somebody that said I was
- 1:21a former barristap. Too many managers cut corners and they didn't clean anything.
- 1:26They used expired milk, claiming that the steam process would just burn it away,
- 1:30like all the sourness, No big deal, they won't notice. Just
- 1:34had a little caramel syrup to that latte, and well, no, the
- 1:36more sugar the better. I think that's how you melt that, right.
- 1:41And this one got me really good because you always think that they have the
- 1:44dishwashers are going to clean it anyway, no big deal. Yeah, my
- 1:48husband's job requires him to go to different restaurants and hotels in different cities,
- 1:52and he's not a health inspect but he did say that they would have all
- 1:56the cleaning chemicals and so people could save money, especially after COVID. They
- 2:00would water him down so that they would last a lot longer. So they're
- 2:02really not like the getting to where they need to be to actually clean all
- 2:07the gross stuff. Smart. No, it's just it's disgusting because you know
- 2:12these things are happening, and well, I've got a story for you.
- 2:15Do you want me to share or do you have any I could? I
- 2:19could confess a lot of things that I did at the restaurant that were see.
- 2:22The only thing I did seven one two eight one ninety eight seven feel
- 2:24free to chime in is when I worked at a country club, I had
- 2:29our one job touching the food really was scooping the soup Like that was kind
- 2:32of the front line. So if somebody ordered a bowl of soup, ladle,
- 2:36yep, you do the ladle. You'd put it in there, but
- 2:38then you'd have the thing of spoons. Well every time you want to polish
- 2:40him all nice, because these were little country club snobs, they needed to
- 2:45make sure they were polished. They didn't want water spots on them. I
- 2:46don't think that cloth it was like brown. It was so gross, like
- 2:51the cloth that we're using for so long, so you just know it's nasty.
- 2:54Yeah. See that's that's uh amateur hour. You got to use a
- 2:59brown cloth so that you never know how dirty. Class was just like one
- 3:02of those white, disgusting claws, and you would just see that. I
- 3:06just imagine if a member when it came back, they're like, are you
- 3:08kidding me? This is what you're doing to my silverware? Every single day
- 3:13you were in the back. It's fine that are and I snug a couple
- 3:16of fries here and there, I'd be like, oh, you know that's
- 3:19mister Monty, no big deal. He'd want me to have one of his
- 3:21onion, like in a minute in the morning, Big Nutty. Eight point
- 3:27seven. We were talking about working in the food industry and some dark secrets
- 3:30that people keep, and we had Erica just messages. She said, I
- 3:35work at a popular pizza chain and there was black mold growing in the soda
- 3:39fountain. She said the manager refused to clean it because it was simply too
- 3:43expensive. And I remember working on like a bar line. Think of like
- 3:46the bar mats. Yes, some people clean them out, but even just
- 3:50out machines, ice cream machines, there's all these things that need to be
- 3:53cleaned regularly and I don't think they are unless you're part of a real corporate
- 3:58industry that they have actors coming in all the time. Yeah, it's interesting,
- 4:01right, It's like I just I can't, Oh, you nasty boy,
- 4:12tell us because you worked in the food industry. I have a million
- 4:15stories, Amanda. I could go all day. I was so. I
- 4:17was a dishwasher first, Oh gosh, that's all fine, because that's all
- 4:20just people. You're thrown away their trash, they're gross whatever. Became a
- 4:25cook, but as the cook at the restaurant that I worked at in Graceful,
- 4:28Minnesota. By the way, this place is burned down and I have
- 4:30not worked at the new place, so don't worry. The management is much
- 4:32better now Carlson's Corner in Graceful. So when I was a cook, I
- 4:38mean you were cooking by yourself, so you were cutting some corners I had.
- 4:42I've dropped a broasted chicken chunk or two on the ground and picked it
- 4:45up and put it on a plate. Okay, yep, and I'm sure
- 4:47that floor was totally clean. Burger steak, no toast, Yeah, definitely
- 4:56done a lot of that. And I'm like the Queen. I love going
- 4:58to a good dive bar, you know, and they're great. It's whatever.
- 5:00But this is why we have immune systems, because when you think of
- 5:03some of the things that do go down, I mean you're just you're throwing
- 5:06stuff. And even just did you use plastic gloves? Never? Never?
- 5:13Never, except for when because we'd have to bread the chicken, because we'd
- 5:15go through a ton of chicken there, so I would use plastics put sometimes
- 5:18that chicken would you'd thought out and it would be maybe when it was frozen.
- 5:24Not so you have you ever smelled that rotten chicken smell, Amanda,
- 5:28No, rotten row chicken smell is a unique and beautiful gonna get it out
- 5:32of here. I can taste it in my mouth right now. That's how
- 5:34bad it smells. And sometimes we'd bread it and we'd cook it and we'd
- 5:36serve it. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I mean it's a lot,
- 5:43and you're just thinking, well, it's probably just that goo in the bottom.
- 5:46I don't know if you don't even know if probably why all these bars
- 5:48and restaurants give you the stiff drinks. It's like we have all these specials.
- 5:53I did get a message from somebody that said, you know, the
- 5:56reason we have specials all the time, right, because the specials are all
- 5:58the food that's like one, this has gotta go yep, And I'm like,
- 6:01oh, that's un sale for four ninety nine. Hit me with two
- 6:03of them, my favorite one. I gotta share this one. We we
- 6:09did the catchup squirt our bottles of the squeeze ones. So that comes in
- 6:12a big can. You'd put it into picture so they could dump it into
- 6:15the squirrel, right, because you were refilling them for the rush. Sometimes
- 6:19those wouldn't get cleaned for a few days. And when they would get cleaned,
- 6:21at the very bottom that never gets all the way out and onto someone's
- 6:26plate and ate that would be completely blue, a beautiful shade of blue with
- 6:31mold. Oh my gosh, I guess this is one thing that is starting
- 6:35today my diet. I minute in the morning. Seven buckle up. We
- 6:44are entering the judgment zone, James. This is your chance to get a
- 6:47little judge and this woman needs our help. You guys seven to one two
- 6:50eight ninety eight seven, please feel free to chime in and help her out.
- 6:55She wrote in and said, I am mortified and I need advice.
- 6:59I was at a friend of mine's wedding two weekends ago, and I got
- 7:01into trouble. I attended by myself because I'm newly single. After being dumb
- 7:05by my boyfriend, I ended up flirting with the best man. We hit
- 7:10it off right away. There was definitely chemistry. That night. We ended
- 7:14up both getting very drunk. I did go back to his hotel room and
- 7:16I did spend the night. The next day, we woke up ate breakfast
- 7:23and we ended up hanging out all day. Oh yeah, he's a really
- 7:29cool guy connection. I was hoping we could continue seeing each other. A
- 7:33few days later, I was really excited about it, so I told the
- 7:38bride about it because she's my friend. She freaked out. She told me
- 7:43that my new friend that I was talking to is married. His wife missed
- 7:47the wedding because she is five months pregnant and she's been really sick. I'm
- 7:53humiliated. I feel like a total home wrecker. Should I forget that this
- 7:58even happens? And hope but he finds out about it? Do I confront
- 8:01him? Do I call his wife? How do I go about this?
- 8:05Help me out? Seven thueto, I mean the wife has to know.
- 8:11That's where I stand. Really. Oh yeah, so you're gonna just knock
- 8:18knock knock on her door. They're like, hey, FYI shacked up with
- 8:24your guy, what do you do, Like it didn't happen, you just
- 8:30move on. Oh my gosh. It's easier said than done because the fact
- 8:35that he willingly knows. So let's just and I don't even want to back
- 8:37this up because we've all had indiscretions. Everything happens. Life is crazy.
- 8:41People have drinks, they do really really stupid things. We've been there,
- 8:45done that a lot of us. Okay, the fact that he woke up
- 8:48and had breakfast with her, knowing all of this. Your wife is home,
- 8:52she's five months pregnant, she's two six to go to this wedding and
- 8:54you hang out with her the rest of the day. You are now putting
- 8:58something you're alluding to the fact that you are single. You're not single,
- 9:03dude, right, you're married. Right. I agree with all that,
- 9:05But going in there and you know she's about to have a baby. Now,
- 9:11it's like, oh, let's and then she's not gonna want to split
- 9:13up with him at this point because she's got to have this baby. She's
- 9:16got to do what she's got to do. Hey, nobody has a wife.
- 9:18I would want to know, even though it would crush me, devastate
- 9:20me, and probably ruin my marriage. And I think that this is,
- 9:24you know, my life as I know it. I'm five months pregnant,
- 9:26I'm about to do all of this, but I would want to know that
- 9:30my husband is this man and he did this to me. Do you think
- 9:33that it's possible that she does not know that? Oh gosh. I hate
- 9:37when people say this. I hate when people say it because you like to
- 9:41think that, no, no, she probably has no idea that he's this
- 9:46guy. In my experience, they show you who they are and you choose
- 9:50not to notice it until you can't ignore it anymore. Oh God. And
- 9:54so she's in some in some way just going this is fine for now.
- 9:58I just I feel like you need somehow. You gotta let this wife know
- 10:03that something was wrong, and there's got to be other people maybe that would
- 10:07have noticed. I don't know. I don't know. You can't tell her,
- 10:09you can't do it. I think you gotta tell her. I know
- 10:13I couldn't do it. It is and it just makes me so sad in
- 10:18the morning. But right now we are stuck in the judgment zone. Just
- 10:26affiliate. And there is a lady who wrote in and she was at a
- 10:30wedding a couple of weeks ago. It was one of her friends. She
- 10:31is newly single. She showed up her and the best man. They hit
- 10:35it off, ended up spending the night together in the hotel room. Next
- 10:39day, ate breakfast together, spent the day together. She was excited thinking
- 10:41I I might have a little something something. I am a nice little rebound
- 10:46relationship, she told the bride because she was excited. She goes, I'm
- 10:50sorry what, No, she was upset because that guy is married. The
- 10:56only reason his wife wasn't there is because she's five months ignorance. And she
- 11:01is mortified now because she feels like a home wrecker. But she had no
- 11:03idea, not a clue. Yeah, I would say that she's not at
- 11:07fault. Now are you supposed to say? I mean, even if she
- 11:09asked, what, are you supposed to facebook? That guy right for you?
- 11:13You know what I mean? I know? Seven two one nine seven.
- 11:16We have a lot of people chiming in on Facebook as well. My
- 11:18first thought and I'm with a lot of ladies here on Facebook as you need
- 11:22to somehow let this wife know. Brianna says, I feel like there must
- 11:26have also been obvious clues throughout the night. So how were there not people
- 11:30on the dance floor or around in the wedding party? Gun, hang on,
- 11:35some sums going on here, and you've got a wife at home or
- 11:37maybe not? Maybe yeah, because there's a little bit more discreet they were
- 11:41at they weren't at the dance at two am and then just decided to go
- 11:43up. There was probably a lot of courting happening on that dance floor,
- 11:48a lot of and a lot of people are just letting this girl know that
- 11:50it is not her fault. He clearly probably wasn't wearing her wedding ring,
- 11:54otherwise she would have known. And uh, it's just a lot of heartache
- 11:58all the way around, because if you let this wife know, somebody pointed
- 12:01out here, Yolanda, you're saving her years of heartache because he is a
- 12:05cheater. But also you're destroying a marriage. Yeah, and that baby is
- 12:09now gonna you know, I have to deal with all of the young the
- 12:13real curveball here. So Aaron just chimed in and said, is his name
- 12:20Brian Oh? Brian guy. I have no other context. I will tell
- 12:26you this, this person wrote in anonymously, so I do not know the
- 12:30names. Sounds like a thing of Brian would do. Tell you that if
- 12:33it is Brian Brian, well you got Brian busted. You got some explaining
- 12:41to do. Either way, I think we could all just rule that it's
- 12:46not her fault. If this was me, I would want the wife to
- 12:48know, you asked me off here, what would you, okay, Amanda?
- 12:52So if it puts yourself in the shoes, how do you so?
- 12:56I guess I don't know the wife. The shoes you would have to put
- 13:00yourself in are the shoes of the woman who hooked up with the guy,
- 13:03right, okay? So now, what what would you do if you really
- 13:07could put yourself in those shoes? I would lean on my friend who's the
- 13:09bride, and say, I am and I'm sure she has already has done
- 13:11this. I am mortified. I cannot believe this. I had no idea,
- 13:16But this wife needs to know, and it will get to her.
- 13:18It will. It will get to her as long as you put it in
- 13:22put it out in the atmosphere in the universe. Does that mean you're just
- 13:26gonna start yelling it. You know, she's around like in the morning on
- 13:35Big Nutty eight point seven. All right, guys, tonight it is gonna
- 13:39be one billion dollars for the megamillions. And just when you think you've exhausted
- 13:43all the different ways, okay, yeah, get it. You're probably gonna
- 13:46move away, you're gonna get an island, you're gonna get a jet.
- 13:48But I was wondering seven to one two eight one ninety eight seven, what
- 13:54would you bring to forego? If there was one thing you could just be
- 13:56like, Hey, this is what I need, this is what I want.
- 13:58We've been asking for it. For me, it's hands down Trader Joe's.
- 14:01We've been talking about this for years. And I remember going years ago,
- 14:05probably ten years ago, to the one in Maple Grove. I remember
- 14:09asking the manager, why can't you get a Trader Joe's in Fargo? Because
- 14:13there's always rumors and whenever somebody's saying, hey there's something new coming, everybody
- 14:16thinks it's going to be Trader Joe's. And I remember somebody telling me that
- 14:20because of where all of the fresh food and everything is coming from, that
- 14:24they can't make it all the way to Fargo. It makes no sense.
- 14:28It makes no sense. I lived in Washington State. They had one in
- 14:31a town two hours from where I was living, and they've got one in
- 14:33Maple Grove that covers the whole nation. Basically, I know, can we
- 14:37meet him like halfway? We'll meet him in fergus Falls, do the delivery
- 14:39overnight, and then we'll bring it here. I mean, what can we
- 14:41do to do? They put a trader Joe's in fergus Falls. The population
- 14:46would triple in five seconds. Oh can you imagine? It's just Hilario would
- 14:50be like, well, I guess I gotta move. I'll commute back to
- 14:54Fargo for work. Oh what do you want? Well, that's tough.
- 14:58I would definitely if I had the billion dollars, I would put my own
- 15:01personal who Hot in my house because there's nothing better than all those fresh veggies
- 15:07and meats just grilled up for you with that delicious sauce. So good.
- 15:11Um. But as far as like for everyone else, I don't know.
- 15:15You're not inviting anybody over for your who Hot experience. You're just gonna have
- 15:18it. No, that's just for me, just your own hubbas have the
- 15:20other Who. Absolutely, I'll buy a who hot once in a while if
- 15:24I win the bill. We did post it on Facebook. We've got some
- 15:26jokesters on here. We've got Mark and Dylan saying, gosh, you know
- 15:28what I would do. I'd bring a car wash to town an apartment building.
- 15:35We do have somebody who's pretty funny. Stephen said, how about a
- 15:37topless car wash? Oh? Really kicking? Is there is there a like
- 15:43not topless, but like a laundree coffee shop in town? No? There?
- 15:46So we had one where I was living back a Lainger coffee shop.
- 15:50I forget what they call that. I had a cheeky cheeky is a stupid
- 15:54hello, sexy butteries. I'd like a yeah, isn't that the song?
- 16:02Yeah? Yeah, like yeah, Ulan marmalade. That Drew Chiming insane raising
- 16:07canes and I actually think that that is supposed to be coming. Have you
- 16:11have you had a canes? I have not. I I've been tempted,
- 16:15but then I just went there. I am all on board with this.
- 16:18Sarah Chiming insane a piano bar. How fun would that be? It's a
- 16:22good idea. One of my favorite stops when I go to Vegas or out
- 16:25of town is a piano barmana. I just had a really good idea.
- 16:27I know what I'm gonna bring back, bring it back, the Cadillac ranch
- 16:30even just yes, We're just bring back the whole ass hub back up and
- 16:37it's coming back. Dance. Yeah, I just need a I need a
- 16:41dance floor, you know what I mean. I need to get out.
- 16:42I just need to just get my dance on one for like over forty where
- 16:47I don't feel like I have to like get low, yeah you know where
- 16:49it's like, No, I just kind of want to do a little,
- 16:52a little side like I don't want to go maybe a little low, but
- 16:55not all the way low, because otherwise have you ever done that when you
- 16:56go to the old b anymore? If we're doing a pub crawl and I
- 17:00think, oh yeah, I've got moves, and then these girls are just
- 17:02down, they are getting they are getting it. I would need a brace
- 17:06for a week after the pike in a minute in the morning. Are you
- 17:11a sandwich guy? You like a Sammy? I'm a nice sandwich that time
- 17:17of year. Last week when I was on vacation, my stepdad lands Pants
- 17:19has a huge garden and it is tomato season, so every single morning we
- 17:23don't even do breakfast, we do belts. They can let us egg and
- 17:26tomato sandwiches. Wow, so delicious, good idea. You know, I've
- 17:30never thought of lettuce as a breakfast food. Oh yeah, well a blt
- 17:34is anytime of the day for me. Yeah, I just throw the l
- 17:37out of there from the morning. I don't know why, really, I
- 17:40guess, Oh, that's kind of funny really that it would become just like
- 17:42a bacon egg sandwich right breakfast real while they'll throw an avocado on there.
- 17:48But for me, it is sandwich season. That's just what I like.
- 17:51And according to a new survey, there are sixty seven percent of Americans.
- 17:55I could live off a sandwiches for an entire week. And at first I'm
- 17:57like, there's no way, and then I just thought of what I did
- 18:00all last week, And that's what I ate. When you think of Like
- 18:03when you hear sandwich, you're like baloney dry with no mayo on it.
- 18:06That's now we're talking about. No, we think of all the sandwich shops
- 18:08and furgo just in general, you can do an unwitch somewhere. You can
- 18:11go ahead and get that rosemary delicious bread Jersey Mikes. I mean you can
- 18:15whip it up. Oh yeah, tons of different ways, so many good
- 18:18sandwiches for me, though, it's BLTs. What is this? Is this
- 18:22a sammy song? Yummy? Yummy? I I just think as long as
- 18:30there's a fresh tomato on it, it makes a difference. But if you
- 18:33hit me outside of summertime, no, like, I'm not going to be
- 18:37able to do it. Like the ham, like that good sliced ham,
- 18:42delicious, sliced roast, beef delicious. You put a nice like you said,
- 18:45nice mater on there. Cucumber season is upon us. Cucumber on a
- 18:49sandwich, mayo. Don't even get me started though. One cucumbers. I
- 18:53don't even know why we buy them in a grocery store after you've had them
- 18:56from the garden, because what are we eating? I mean when you it's
- 19:00so waxy and they don't even taste the same you get one out of a
- 19:04fresh garden. This is what I'm saying. So the grocery store you're like,
- 19:07I'm sorry, what is this is not a cucumber? Also, they
- 19:11have determined what exactly the best sandwiches. This is what people are saying it's
- 19:17a tomato with cheddar cheese and black forest ham, cheddar cheese, black forest
- 19:22ham tomato. That's not doing it for me. Well, I mean it's
- 19:26good, but I mean you can throw a little lettuce on there, get
- 19:29a crunch, maybe an onion, get a little flavor going. Yeah,
- 19:32I need to add a little bit more, and I'm out a dressing person.
- 19:33I can't go dry what you know, what I think that is a
- 19:38piece of advice so we can all live by Amanda in the morning, Big
- 19:42Nutty eight point seven. Here's what you need to know. Today is a
- 19:47big day for Minnesota. Cannabis becomes legal in Minnesota, and well, a
- 19:52lot of people are excited about it. Experts say it's important to remember the
- 19:55process is going to take some time. Well, other states, such as
- 19:57let's say California, be fit from year round nice weather. Might shock you,
- 20:02guys, Minnesota winters are a little brutal, so the homegrown cannabis maybe
- 20:06maybe a little bit harder to uh, I guess growing. I thought that
- 20:10always grew that in a building anyway, I don't know. You get turned
- 20:12a turkey barn into a big old pot farm. Well, since marijuana is
- 20:17still federally legal. You gotta remember you cannot transport it across the state lines.
- 20:22Lawmakers do believe it'll take anywhere from twelve to eighteen months for these first
- 20:26dispensaries to obtain licensing and begin to sell the product. There are two tribal
- 20:29nations expected to open Minnesota's first dispensaries, and that's the White Earth Nation and
- 20:33Red Lake Nation. I'm just gonna say it. I've seen a couple of
- 20:37signs around town that's ay THHC products sold here. And they started in like
- 20:40June. Oh really yeah, where were they? Like, uh, just
- 20:45cardboard signs, just and Elon musk Wodia doing. We were talking about it
- 20:52yesterday and no, I'm not get the bird out of here. There's no
- 20:55tweets. No, there's no bird. We're not tweeting anymore. It's X
- 21:00get a new one. That's like, yes, but you're not even xing
- 21:03anymore. So Twitter has changed her logo to the X, which is really
- 21:07just annoying me and generic. We were kind of laughing about it. It
- 21:11is a little X rated. It feels icky. Yeah, well it's like
- 21:14I'm xing. I don't know. Yeah, no, but he said yesterday
- 21:17he is rebranding it to blaze your glory. I don't get that. And
- 21:22when you jump on onto the platform and still says tweet, so you haven't
- 21:27even gotten through the process. I'm not tweeting. You got rid of the
- 21:30bird, but you can't figure out the background. This is the problem with
- 21:33any website revamp. Everyone's gonna start nitpicking every little thing. Like give the
- 21:37guy a minute. It's a large site. I know you got this much
- 21:41money and you can't figure it out. Is it because he fired everybody at
- 21:44Twitter? That's part of the problem for sure. We put a lot of
- 21:45money to that sign too. A lot of people were working on that big
- 21:48bright light that they didn't get permission to put up, I know, and
- 21:51they're trying to get it taken down. It's airplanes are being blasted out of
- 21:55the sky with the light. This guy's crazy. It's fantastic. Is a
- 21:57wild it really is. But maybe you'll have as much money as him one
- 22:02day, because one point zero five billion dollars is a megamillions jack pot that's
- 22:07up for grabs tonight. Haven't seen an email come across. Are we in
- 22:10this? Do you do the group? Cool? Up. I didn't last
- 22:11time because it wasn't quite a billion yet, and I was like, I
- 22:15gotta split this with you people already, that's already gonna make me angry.
- 22:18If Pike is doing a little staycation today, so he's out, James is
- 22:22filling in, and we were talking about it at last hour what you would
- 22:25do with a million dollars or a billion dollars. A lot of people say,
- 22:29of course you're just gonna get out of here. But if you had
- 22:30to bring something to Fargo, what would it be, I said, Trader
- 22:33Joe's. You would mentioned the Hub, the Hub, just bringing like a
- 22:36nice, cool, like entertainment venue. And if it's not the Hub,
- 22:38my favorite bar at the Hub was the Cadillac Ranch, and if we recall,
- 22:41that was where sick he started to back in the day. Oh my
- 22:45gosh. A lot of people chiming in on Facebook and they are saying that
- 22:48we need to have some sort of good indoor facility, whether it'd be for
- 22:52a baseball yard, just something really big, especially because we have winter so
- 22:56often. It would be really cool if we had, like I know they're
- 23:00putting up a water park, but like a valley fair size, like oh
- 23:03Jude, like Dubai size, Like what something they would do in Dubai Just
- 23:07put it up here, just go crazy that that Canada Ann and Grand Forks
- 23:11wouldn't have a shot. We would kill it. Get ready, ready,
- 23:15that's he is typing hot today. No Amanda stills the sea looks see on
- 23:25that day yesterday pee Wee Hermann who was known obviously his real name was Paul
- 23:30Rubens. He died yesterday. He was seventy years old. He privately battled
- 23:33cancer for years, and according to the statement, he's the one who wanted
- 23:37to make sure that people knew where his heart was. He says, please
- 23:41accept my apology for not going public with what I've been facing for the last
- 23:44seven years, and he went on to say that I have always felt a
- 23:47huge amount of love and respect for my friends, my family, my fans,
- 23:51my supporters, and I've loved you all so much and enjoyed making art
- 23:55for you. I've never had somebody, I guess, Diane already have a
- 23:57statement prepared, and I guess as you're going through that journey with cancer and
- 24:00everything, he probably was like, it's going to happen, and I want
- 24:03you guys to know this pretty interesting. Yeah, I can't imagine sitting down
- 24:06and writing that. I know, it's interesting to see everybody throwing out the
- 24:10tributes to him as well, a lot of comedians love him like he's thought
- 24:14of very highly in those circles. Yes, and also just devastating. Had
- 24:18only twenty five years old. Angus Cloud from the hit show Euphoria. He
- 24:22died yesterday and if you're thinking, I'm not sure who that is, as
- 24:25soon as you see his picture, give it a google. Just devastating.
- 24:27His family released a statement sharing that he intensely struggled with his loss because last
- 24:33week his father died. They said, the only comfort that we have is
- 24:36knowing that Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.
- 24:40I know, so sad. And then you got Ariana Grande and she
- 24:45is apparently giving Ethan his space now now that it all got blown up,
- 24:51you've destroyed two marriages, you're gonna give him his space so that he can
- 24:53work on everything with his wife. I just don't like how this all went
- 24:57down. If you're not familiar with what happened, they were both married,
- 25:00they were on the sett of Wicked together. They clearly had something going on.
- 25:06The weird part for me was that she was hanging out with the wife
- 25:08and Ethan, like the three of them were hanging out. That's that,
- 25:15Dicky, And yesterday we were talking about this incident. It seems like every
- 25:18single week now there's a concert and there is some sort of altercation, whether
- 25:22it's a fan throwing something and then the artist getting upset about it, there's,
- 25:26you know, stuff going on. Well, yesterday Cardi b got really
- 25:29mad because somebody threw water, which you would be a whole drink at you
- 25:33while you're performing. That's not cool. It's water though, Yeah, I
- 25:37mean either way, you're not gonna appreciate that. And her instant reaction was
- 25:41to throw the microphone. Well, we're finding out now that no, that's
- 25:44not actually how it went down, because she told her fans, okay,
- 25:48throw some water up on me, Cardi. Then they did. So why'd
- 25:52you toss your microphone at them? I don't know. Because she's a grumpy
- 25:56lady. She really is. I think she just likes people talking about her
- 26:00and she succeeded here. She's running out of stuff. She used to be
- 26:03kind of witty on social media and now she's like I don't have anything else
- 26:04to say. I've said all the stuff. I'm going to just start throwing
- 26:07stuff at people. It's all I can. Well, speaking of that,
- 26:10did you remember her? Is it her husband? Offset are they married?
- 26:12Remember he went off about her cheating And just last night he released the same
- 26:17and he said, I'm sorry, the tequila made me do it, Like,
- 26:19can you imagine that my husband's babe? That was just the tequila.
- 26:23Yeah, that's the abuse has never made anyone tell the truth ever. God
