- 0:25Speaker 1: Hi, and welcome back to Pinky Boo Haunting. I'll be
- 0:29Speaker 1: your witchy host Shy, and I'll be your guide to
- 0:33Speaker 1: all things paranormal, weird and spooky. So tell me, guys,
- 0:41Speaker 1: did you guys watched the last season of Stranger Things.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I kind of lost track of it after the second season,
- 0:49Speaker 1: but my friend got me back into it just in
- 0:52Speaker 1: time for the series finale, and now it's taken over
- 0:56Speaker 1: a big part of my life. I know there are
- 1:00Speaker 1: a lot of people that are not happy with the ending,
- 1:02Speaker 1: but I can't say I'm one of the haters. Obviously,
- 1:07Speaker 1: if you didn't like it, that's fine, but for me,
- 1:10Speaker 1: it wasn't that bad. And don't worry, I won't be
- 1:15Speaker 1: spoiling anything. But I will say I do believe if
- 1:20Speaker 1: you know you know? Oh, and tell me, did you
- 1:26Speaker 1: guys actually believe that theory that was going around after
- 1:29Speaker 1: the series finale. Honestly, it was kind of fun just
- 1:34Speaker 1: to pretend that it was real, but I knew it
- 1:36Speaker 1: wasn't actually gonna happen. It would have made things a
- 1:40Speaker 1: lot better, though, I'm not gonna lie, and it would
- 1:44Speaker 1: have been a really fun way to tie everything back together.
- 1:50Speaker 1: We could have known what it felt like to be
- 1:51Speaker 1: Joyce for a second when Will first disappeared. But unfortunately,
- 1:56Speaker 1: like I said, it wasn't real. It never was going
- 1:59Speaker 1: to be real. I hope nobody actually believed it. All right,
- 2:04Speaker 1: I'll stop talking about Stranger Things because I know there
- 2:06Speaker 1: are a lot of mixed feelings about it, and I
- 2:08Speaker 1: don't want anyone to relive it if they were one
- 2:11Speaker 1: of those that were mad about the season. So how
- 2:16Speaker 1: about we get right into the stories. Hopefully they'll help
- 2:20Speaker 1: us all that are trying to get our minds off
- 2:22Speaker 1: of it, no matter what side you're on. Our first
- 2:26Speaker 1: story is called Paranormal Encounter on the Riz. Hi, y'all,
- 2:32Speaker 1: I need opinions and answers. So a couple of days
- 2:35Speaker 1: ago about someone I know, and we want to find
- 2:40Speaker 1: out what it was. It was the middle of the
- 2:43Speaker 1: day and there were like twelve guys hanging out on
- 2:46Speaker 1: Six Nations Riz in Ontario, and they came across something wild.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Wait were you there with them? Never mind, I forgot already,
- 2:58Speaker 1: you said it was told you my bad. Back to
- 3:02Speaker 1: the story. They took a walk in the woods and
- 3:06Speaker 1: saw what looked like a camp out. At this point,
- 3:10Speaker 1: they had split into smaller groups and were surrounding this camp.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Why why are twelve guys surrounding a camp that's not
- 3:19Speaker 1: bothering them? That's kind of weird. They looked at the
- 3:25Speaker 1: trees and saw fish cuts hanging and I mean all
- 3:30Speaker 1: of the parts you normally wouldn't see. Ew I would
- 3:35Speaker 1: be so sick if I came across that. I don't
- 3:38Speaker 1: know if that has a real reason to be in
- 3:40Speaker 1: a camp, but if it didn't make me so sick,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I ran away. She'd run away from just how creepy
- 3:46Speaker 1: that sounds. So they're kind of standing there thinking, what
- 3:54Speaker 1: is this crackhead on? Because he's bawled up in the middle,
- 3:58Speaker 1: rocking back and forth and humming. Wait, wait a minute,
- 4:05Speaker 1: the guy is there in his camp while you guys
- 4:09Speaker 1: are there. Are you kidding me? Why would you be
- 4:13Speaker 1: bothering him, especially if he seems not right in the head.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Leave him alone or call someone to help him. One
- 4:25Speaker 1: of them laughed, and he automatically stopped, and I mean
- 4:28Speaker 1: dead stopped, looked up, slowly looked to the other side
- 4:34Speaker 1: the one the kid that laughed wasn't on, and then
- 4:38Speaker 1: slowly turned his head to face him. Then, in a
- 4:43Speaker 1: girl like voice, he said, I see you. So the
- 4:50Speaker 1: boys on that half book it back to their friend's house. Honestly,
- 4:54Speaker 1: you guys deserved it. Shut off that man alone. The
- 4:59Speaker 1: kid on the other half are kind of trapped. So
- 5:03Speaker 1: they're watching this guy not move a muscle and they
- 5:07Speaker 1: start legit army crawling back till they're not wedged anymore.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So this guy turns to them and says again in
- 5:16Speaker 1: the same voice, I can see you. So the second
- 5:23Speaker 1: half of them book it out of there. He's running
- 5:26Speaker 1: after them. So they get to the edge of the
- 5:29Speaker 1: forest where it turns into a field, and keep running.
- 5:35Speaker 1: The guy said when they look back, the guy was
- 5:38Speaker 1: watching them from the forest edge. Y'all wouldn't be the
- 5:42Speaker 1: type of people that would die in a horror movie.
- 5:45Speaker 1: All of this could have been prevented by leaving the
- 5:47Speaker 1: camp and that man alone. When the guys got inside,
- 5:53Speaker 1: they regrouped and we're talking about it. When they mentioned
- 5:59Speaker 1: the guy, the first group said, no, he was chasing us,
- 6:04Speaker 1: and it sounded like he was right behind us. But
- 6:09Speaker 1: the second group said no, we watched him the whole
- 6:12Speaker 1: time and he never moved till he saw us. Normally,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I think it's a crackhead, but both groups heard running
- 6:22Speaker 1: behind them. The guy stopped at the edge of the
- 6:25Speaker 1: forest and there wasn't two crackheads at that camp. Plus
- 6:32Speaker 1: there's stories of not leaving blinds open on the Riz
- 6:36Speaker 1: because something will try to get you to come out
- 6:38Speaker 1: of your house to let them in. And the girlfriend
- 6:43Speaker 1: of this guy said she fell asleep on call and
- 6:48Speaker 1: heard three sets of knocking. She cut the third one
- 6:52Speaker 1: off by waking the guy up, telling him to stop it.
- 6:56Speaker 1: It was annoying, but she woke him up and he
- 7:02Speaker 1: was confused because he didn't hear knocking. Anyways, I hope
- 7:08Speaker 1: someone knows what it is. We're just curious and want
- 7:12Speaker 1: to know if we should be worried. Damn, that last
- 7:16Speaker 1: little bit kind of gave me whiplash. The way you
- 7:18Speaker 1: told that second story, I had a hard time realizing
- 7:22Speaker 1: we're talking about something completely different at the end there.
- 7:26Speaker 1: That last little bit, though, kind of made me think
- 7:29Speaker 1: of the Appalachian Mountains. I don't know much about Canadian's
- 7:34Speaker 1: folklore or any of that, but I do know that
- 7:38Speaker 1: in Appalachia you always close your blinds at night, and
- 7:43Speaker 1: of course there is a lot of other rules. If
- 7:47Speaker 1: someone that knows more about the lore in Canada can
- 7:51Speaker 1: tell me if they have something similar to the Appalachian Mountains.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Please do, because while this sounds super scary, I kind
- 7:59Speaker 1: of nothing as far as what it could be. I
- 8:02Speaker 1: will say paranormal or not. Maybe leave people's camps alone.
- 8:06Speaker 1: That's just rude. All right, guys, you ready for the
- 8:10Speaker 1: next one. This story is called my brother was attacked
- 8:14Speaker 1: by a spirit. Hi. I'm new to the community and
- 8:20Speaker 1: I like to share an antidote about my older brother.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It's been making me think ever since he told it.
- 8:28Speaker 1: A little context. My brother is a bit of a
- 8:31Speaker 1: bad boy, to say the least. He's someone that doesn't
- 8:35Speaker 1: hesitate to abuse trust and engage in criminal activities. He's
- 8:41Speaker 1: not a criminal per se, but there's always the possibility
- 8:45Speaker 1: that he'll do something illegal. Ah, so he's an asshole. Sorry.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I shouldn't probably say that about your brother, but he
- 8:54Speaker 1: does kind of sound like an asshole already. Would that explain?
- 9:00Speaker 1: Let's get to the antidote. My brother was living with
- 9:03Speaker 1: his in laws and his partner at the time, while
- 9:06Speaker 1: I was living with my parents. My brother and his
- 9:10Speaker 1: partner had a fight and were kicked out, so he
- 9:14Speaker 1: ended up moving back in with our parents. Honestly, I
- 9:18Speaker 1: hated having him back because he's a dick. Because, besides
- 9:24Speaker 1: the fact that I've gotten used to his absence, his
- 9:27Speaker 1: attitude and behavior didn't help. Well. I was just kind
- 9:32Speaker 1: of joking, But the more you talk about him, the
- 9:34Speaker 1: more I do think I'm right, So I'm feeling less
- 9:39Speaker 1: and less pad about talking shit. Anyways, he spent a
- 9:44Speaker 1: week at my parents' house until he reconciled with his
- 9:48Speaker 1: partner and everything went back to normal. But something happened
- 9:53Speaker 1: during that week that he told us about later at
- 9:57Speaker 1: a family gathering where my entire family was present, parents, sister,
- 10:03Speaker 1: and brother, my brother was telling my sister about the
- 10:06Speaker 1: fight with his partner and blah blah blah. But after
- 10:11Speaker 1: he got to the part about his experience returning home,
- 10:14Speaker 1: he said it was fine except for one night when
- 10:18Speaker 1: he arrived late from work. Howbout you want to bet
- 10:22Speaker 1: he pissed off an ancestor or something with that fight,
- 10:25Speaker 1: someone probably looking out for his partner. Everyone was already asleep.
- 10:32Speaker 1: He recounted how he got ready for bed and lay
- 10:36Speaker 1: down on one of the living room sofas. After a while,
- 10:40Speaker 1: he was asleep, At one point, he said he was
- 10:44Speaker 1: in a kind of liminal space between dreaming and reality.
- 10:49Speaker 1: He found it strange, but continued observing until an entity
- 10:53Speaker 1: like a shadow began to strangle him. He said it
- 10:58Speaker 1: felt very real and that he began to suffocate until
- 11:04Speaker 1: suddenly he felt a light and along with it a presence.
- 11:10Speaker 1: At that moment, he stopped feeling the strangulation pressure. He
- 11:15Speaker 1: believed it was the presence of our maternal grandmother who
- 11:19Speaker 1: drove this entity away and allowed him to continue sleeping.
- 11:26Speaker 1: That antidote is from a while ago, but it always
- 11:30Speaker 1: makes me think, because nothing like that has ever happened
- 11:34Speaker 1: to me, and I never witnessed anything out of the ordinary.
- 11:39Speaker 1: What do you think it was an entity, a lucid dream,
- 11:43Speaker 1: or something else. Listen, this could have very well been sleeperalysis,
- 11:53Speaker 1: but I don't think I've ever heard of someone feeling
- 11:57Speaker 1: a past loved one come in to help them. Not
- 12:01Speaker 1: saying it couldn't be that, but I feel like either
- 12:05Speaker 1: someone was trying to come for him for the partner,
- 12:09Speaker 1: or something was feeding off his toxic behavior. Either way,
- 12:13Speaker 1: I do believe the grandma came in to protect him.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I don't know if he might have changed his ways,
- 12:20Speaker 1: but I do hope this experience helped make him see
- 12:23Speaker 1: the way he was living wasn't good for anyone, including himself. Also,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I would not wish to have an experience like he did.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Sure it ended well, but the attack part is not fun.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I'm sure you do not want to ever go through
- 12:41Speaker 1: something like that. Well, guys, we only have one more
- 12:47Speaker 1: for today. Are you ready for it? It's called can
- 12:51Speaker 1: you have paranormal Encounters with deceased pets? Yes? The answer
- 12:56Speaker 1: is yes. All right, that's all for today. No, let's
- 13:00Speaker 1: actually read this. Hey, community, I'm not sure on my
- 13:06Speaker 1: stance on spirits in their meanings or anything like that,
- 13:10Speaker 1: but the sequence of events has been bugging me for years.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I think sharing it again will help. I strictly remember
- 13:19Speaker 1: this because I told my friends and parents of this.
- 13:23Speaker 1: When I was born. My family had two dogs rest
- 13:27Speaker 1: in peace, both of them, and one of them was
- 13:31Speaker 1: named Lex Luthor. He was a very sweet skipper key.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Why would you name a dog after a super villain?
- 13:39Speaker 1: Doggiaes deserve better than to be named after a dig
- 13:42Speaker 1: bag of a person. I loved him lots. When I
- 13:47Speaker 1: was a baby. He would cuddle with me whenever he could.
- 13:51Speaker 1: He would also lick my tears if I cried, so
- 13:54Speaker 1: the complete opposite of Lex Luthor, which again I have
- 13:59Speaker 1: to ask, why why would you name the bored thing
- 14:01Speaker 1: after him? No, I will not let this go. Sweet
- 14:05Speaker 1: babies deserve sweet names. Anyways, fast forward to when I
- 14:11Speaker 1: was eleven. I think Lex had passed away outside in
- 14:16Speaker 1: a sleep at the age of ten. Ah he was
- 14:19Speaker 1: a sweet old man. That was the time death became
- 14:23Speaker 1: a concept to me. Something I loved was gone and
- 14:27Speaker 1: I couldn't get it back. This broke me. I think
- 14:32Speaker 1: this is when I started having depression. But that's not related.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I think for a lot of us, our
- 14:40Speaker 1: first real encounter with death is through our pets. What
- 14:45Speaker 1: is related to what happened three weeks later? I was
- 14:49Speaker 1: walking through the dining room and I could have sworn
- 14:52Speaker 1: I saw Lex run past me and into my parents' room.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I chased after him, and when I was my parents' room,
- 15:01Speaker 1: he wasn't there. And a year later is when I
- 15:05Speaker 1: saw him the most. I was on the playground at
- 15:09Speaker 1: my school listening to fake scary stories my friend was telling.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I then saw Lex standing next to the monkey bars.
- 15:18Speaker 1: When my eyes landed on him. He started doing that
- 15:22Speaker 1: adorable body wag, and then he kind of dissipated. It
- 15:29Speaker 1: was like he was blurred into oblivion. And a month later,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I was trying to get to sleep. Then I felt
- 15:38Speaker 1: doctor on my hand, which was dangling off the bed.
- 15:42Speaker 1: My door was shut, so there weren't any dogs in there.
- 15:46Speaker 1: This part I'm unsure about because it's from my poor memory.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I told him I'll be okay. I love you, Lex,
- 15:57Speaker 1: I think something along those lines. Anyways, I then cried
- 16:01Speaker 1: myself to sleep. The same night, I had a dream
- 16:06Speaker 1: of him. It was sort of a combination of all
- 16:10Speaker 1: the happy memories I had with him, but the atmosphere
- 16:14Speaker 1: was off. Lex didn't seem happy. I didn't either, But
- 16:18Speaker 1: at the end was something new, an out of focus
- 16:23Speaker 1: image of Lex like he was when we found him dead.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Like in the background in the foreground was Lex happy looking.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I woke up in a happy mood. I wrote the
- 16:37Speaker 1: dream in my dream journal, so that's how I know this.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I never encountered him again. I don't know if it
- 16:45Speaker 1: was my brain coping or what. However, I felt like
- 16:49Speaker 1: he was trying to make sure I was okay without him.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Is it ok to have paranormal experiences if this is
- 16:57Speaker 1: that of animals. First of all, yes, it's okay to
- 17:02Speaker 1: have paranormal experiences of your pets are really any animal.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Some people don't believe animals have spirits, and therefore you
- 17:12Speaker 1: can't see their spirits. But that's a lie. Animals come
- 17:17Speaker 1: in your life just like people for a reason, and
- 17:22Speaker 1: even after their death, they are known to still keep
- 17:25Speaker 1: an eye on you. I've had my dogs show up
- 17:29Speaker 1: every so often. I don't know how many times I've
- 17:34Speaker 1: seen glimpses of my dogs, to the point that I
- 17:37Speaker 1: saw their fur as if they were still alive. They
- 17:42Speaker 1: would be walking under my feet like they used to do.
- 17:47Speaker 1: They just come in the check on you, you know.
- 17:51Speaker 1: As for the dream, I think it was his way
- 17:54Speaker 1: of saying goodbye. I feel like he probably felt like
- 17:57Speaker 1: you were finally in a place where you did it
- 18:00Speaker 1: need him to be around as much, at least in
- 18:05Speaker 1: a way you could see him. That could be why
- 18:08Speaker 1: you both felt sad in your dream reliving those memories.
- 18:13Speaker 1: The good news you might not be able to see
- 18:16Speaker 1: or feel him anymore, but he is still watching over you.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I hope you all know that not only are your
- 18:24Speaker 1: loved ones watching over you? But so are your pets.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Even if you don't know it, they are all watching
- 18:31Speaker 1: over you. That kind of sound ominous, didn't it. I
- 18:38Speaker 1: didn't mean to. It was supposed to be sweet, all right, guys.
- 18:45Speaker 1: That's it for this episode. If you're enjoying the podcast,
- 18:49Speaker 1: please rate and review our show, and if you're on YouTube,
