- 0:06Speaker 1: Do not fear. Lamentations 3.57 Dear Holy God, In my
- 0:15Speaker 1: moments of loneliness, I turn to you in prayer. When
- 0:20Speaker 1: the path of life seems weary and dark, when worry
- 0:24Speaker 1: crowds out joy, and anxiety outweighs hope, Your love is
- 0:30Speaker 1: still a tender comfort to me. The world may have
- 0:34Speaker 1: deserted me, but your steadfast love has never failed. In
- 0:40Speaker 1: my heartache, you respond with compassion and kindness. Your promises
- 0:46Speaker 1: are sure and your mercy is abundant. Your spirit is
- 0:52Speaker 1: ever with me, comforting my soul and carrying my burdens
- 0:56Speaker 1: when they become too heavy to bear. Grant that I

- 1:31Speaker 2: Welcome to your meditative prayer on conquering loneliness. To get
- 1:35Speaker 2: the most out of your spiritual journey, use Pray.com every
- 1:38Speaker 2: day and make prayer a priority in your life. Our
- 1:44Speaker 2: goal for today's meditative prayer is conquering loneliness. Hope you'll
- 1:48Speaker 2: take a moment to unwind and look for a good place,
- 1:53Speaker 2: a pleasant place, a position that will allow you to relax.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Now focus your time on God and with God. Allow
- 2:04Speaker 2: your mind to drift towards the throne of the Lord
- 2:08Speaker 2: and be filled with His Word. Open your heart to
- 2:13Speaker 2: His Holy Spirit who is with you now. We're going
- 2:21Speaker 2: to be meditating on Lamentations chapter 3 verse 57 from
- 2:26Speaker 2: the King James Version. The Bible says, You came near
- 2:30Speaker 2: when I called you And you said, do not fear. Hey,
- 2:37Speaker 2: take a moment and let your worship rise up to God.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I exalt you, God, for you fill me with courage
- 2:45Speaker 2: and strength. You lift me up on wings like eagles
- 2:51Speaker 2: and keep me from stumbling. Jesus, there's none like you,
- 2:55Speaker 2: able to save. There's nowhere I can go, neither above
- 3:00Speaker 2: or below, where I can escape your presence. I praise you, God,
- 3:06Speaker 2: for you hear me when I call. Your eyes are
- 3:10Speaker 2: always upon me. Sometimes we're so lonely that we begin
- 3:15Speaker 2: to believe the lies of the enemy, the lies that
- 3:18Speaker 2: no one hears us, that no one's there for us,
- 3:23Speaker 2: and that even if they did hear our cries, no
- 3:25Speaker 2: one would care. The Bible reminds us, though, that the
- 3:31Speaker 2: Lord is near to the brokenhearted and he hears their
- 3:34Speaker 2: cries for help. I want you to know God is
- 3:38Speaker 2: with you, even when you walk through the valley of
- 3:41Speaker 2: the shadow of death. There is no place, either above
- 3:46Speaker 2: or below the earth, that you can flee from his presence.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Know this, Jesus died to give you free access to God.
- 3:58Speaker 2: You don't need someone holier than you to talk to
- 4:01Speaker 2: him for you. God just wants you. He is your
- 4:06Speaker 2: present help in your time of need. The Holy Spirit
- 4:12Speaker 2: is our great comforter and counselor. He's waiting for you
- 4:15Speaker 2: to turn to him. He's present even now. So call
- 4:20Speaker 2: out to him from wherever you are right now, today,
- 4:25Speaker 2: with confidence. knowing that he will hear you and that
- 4:29Speaker 2: God will answer you. Come before his throne without fear
- 4:34Speaker 2: of rejection. Confess your sins to him. Receive his forgiveness,
- 4:41Speaker 2: his comfort, and his love. Now take a moment and
- 4:48Speaker 2: consider all the times God heard your prayers and thank
- 4:52Speaker 2: him for it. Thank the Lord for the access you
- 4:58Speaker 2: have to him, to lay your fears and anxieties at
- 5:01Speaker 2: his feet. Thank God for his desire to care for
- 5:05Speaker 2: you and the confidence you have to come to him.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Thank Jesus for his sacrifice, which he opened the way
- 5:15Speaker 2: for you. Thank him for his blessed assurance that he
- 5:22Speaker 2: will always be accessible to you. Thank the Holy Spirit
- 5:25Speaker 2: for giving you you strength and courage. I hope you'll
- 5:31Speaker 2: never forget God is present and that he's listening to you.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Call on him wherever you are. Make your request known
- 5:38Speaker 2: to him. Plead your case before God. Tell him what
- 5:42Speaker 2: you fear. Ask him to help you to let go
- 5:46Speaker 2: of the anxiety that's festering in your heart. Ask Jesus
- 5:51Speaker 2: for the ability to rely on his word for his
- 5:53Speaker 2: peace and a peace that the Bible says surpasses all understanding,
- 6:00Speaker 2: and ask the Holy Spirit to empower you to have
- 6:03Speaker 2: control over your thoughts and emotions. And remember, the Bible
- 6:10Speaker 2: says we're not to worry, but rather, through prayer and
- 6:16Speaker 2: petition with thanksgiving, make your request known to God. So
- 6:22Speaker 2: set aside that anxiety. all that fear and doubt. And
- 6:28Speaker 2: choose this day to call on his name, to believe him,
- 6:33Speaker 2: to present yourself before God's throne and ask for his grace.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Know this, God is on your side. He wants to
- 6:41Speaker 2: hear from you and bless you. Be bold and be brave.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Reach out today and receive his peace for your life.
