- 0:05super calm super quick coming up.
- 0:15Hey guys, welcome back to the ask me world.
- 0:17Okay, guys, welcome back God. It's been a cold winter so far
- 0:21or coming out of autumn into winter and I'm still feeling
- 0:24super cold since going to take some my water and talking about
- 0:28panic attacks and stuff and dealing with things.
- 0:30I actually have this whole like program this thing that I talked
- 0:34about how I change my trait in two superpowers and know we
- 0:37talked about autism in such an interesting and candid way but
- 0:40there's actually so much more. Up to autism and there's so many
- 0:43ways that you can use the things that you see as negative traits
- 0:45in your life and turn them into superpowers.
- 0:47So just for a limited time only guys, I'm actually giving away a
- 0:50free ebook. So if you want your hands on my
- 0:53free ebook guide to turning your traits into superpowers in like
- 0:5860 seconds or less. It's super interesting.
- 1:00Just go to the ask me world.com /e book, so that's th EA spie.
- 1:07Wor LD.com /e book because I want you guys to have it and let
- 1:11me know what you think. So I've listed out for things
- 1:14that I think a highly impeccable for overcoming and dealing with
- 1:18panic attacks. So a panic attack is basically
- 1:20where a person has an issue with a stressful or anxious situation
- 1:25and then they kind of go into a pre melt down stage where a
- 1:29panic attack is where you have trouble breathing and then you
- 1:31get really clammy and then you start kind of getting bit
- 1:33disoriented then you get really agitated and there's a whole
- 1:36bunch of other stuff like a heart rate increases.
- 1:38You may be more irritable and that's not a good thing to
- 1:40happen. Tax immobilize a lot of people
- 1:43and the impact the lives of millions of people.
- 1:45I'm sure it's something like one in ten people know experience
- 1:47panic attacks because our current daily life and daily
- 1:50structure of how we organize our lives is currently made around
- 1:53stress and fortunately and stress that we can kind of get
- 1:56rid of it stretched from like jobs and you know going to
- 1:59school in Oregon and deadlines get this thing in where stress
- 2:02was the thing used to control those from going all my goodness
- 2:04that glaciers getting close or that saber-toothed tiger wants
- 2:06to eat you for lunch. So I'm going to run really
- 2:08quickly and get out of the way. So stress used to be Good thing
- 2:12and use for good things with the fight-or-flight situations, but
- 2:14now stress is used in ridiculous situations that we have no
- 2:18control over and then I'll get from mental health.
- 2:20So that being said guys. I've picked out some of the best
- 2:23for the best ways that I feel that you can help deal with your
- 2:27panic attacks and get rid of that kind of whole like just
- 2:31reduce it so that you don't you don't you don't feel like it
- 2:33impacts your life so much. Okay.
- 2:38The first one here is removing yourself from situation
- 2:41immediately. Honestly, this is such a simple
- 2:44and effective one. A lot of people will stay in a
- 2:46situation that has caused them that panic attack.
- 2:49So if they're in work, they're having a panic attack in and go
- 2:51to the toilet and they you know, they have like a panic attack in
- 2:55the toilet in the restrooms. And then they come back out and
- 2:57go back into the office that they're just literally cause the
- 2:59panic attack and you thinking why on Earth did you go back to
- 3:02a situation which caused your issue and first place?
- 3:05The first thing you need to do is remove yourself in that
- 3:06situation. Leo what I mean by that is if
- 3:08you're inside a building and having chronic attack get
- 3:11outside of the building that change of environment that
- 3:13drastic change of environment is going to benefit your life more
- 3:17than you will ever know because it will just instantly reduce
- 3:19all of that kind of like that Creative Energy that's causing
- 3:23the panic attack. I mean what I mean by creative
- 3:25is the creating of the panic attack energy that is in that
- 3:28kind of place you're in that scenario that you don't because
- 3:31again, you got to think about if you're sitting in front somebody
- 3:33in that they shout at you or your on your desk and you're
- 3:35working away and you're getting all this negative energy.
- 3:37Him put this pressure everything around you that whole area
- 3:41everything around you is built up to create that Alex anxious
- 3:44kind of panic attack. So removing yourself in that
- 3:46situation is going to benefit you so much.
- 3:48Honestly, it's one of those proven fact, I do it every
- 3:51single time. I have an issue where I think
- 3:53panic attacks can happen or having a panic attack move
- 3:56yourself out of the situation. Okay.
- 4:01So number two is trying controlled breathing.
- 4:05Now. I talk about breathing quite a
- 4:06bit on this channel. I've talked about breathing from
- 4:08Stress and Anxiety related videos and all that kind of
- 4:10stuff. And this is no exception.
- 4:12So the Buddhists kind of created this whole breathing technique.
- 4:16I can't remember the the actual name.
- 4:19Is it like madrasa a camera with the actual name?
- 4:21Okay. It's as a Buddhist name for it
- 4:22and it's actually used in yoga from when you're doing like a
- 4:26calm down chill technique after you're doing yoga class and it's
- 4:29basically very very Well, it's the five-step.
- 4:31So you go you breathe in and count to five and then you hold
- 4:35your breath for five seconds. And then you breathe out again
- 4:38for 5 seconds. And when you do this, what
- 4:41happens is that it instantly slows your body down.
- 4:45It takes it back a step. It takes you out of that
- 4:47situation just within your own body because it's pushing oxygen
- 4:51around the body and allowing your brain and your body to
- 4:53actually take that oxygen push it around absorb it use it for a
- 4:57needs to do and calm you down. This is the most effective
- 5:00thing. Thing I have ever come across in
- 5:01my life when I was actually having therapy.
- 5:03My therapist actually recommended this to me.
- 5:05She said okay, we're going to try it.
- 5:06Now. You'll put your knees together
- 5:07feet flat on the floor back straight hands on your knees
- 5:10close your eyes take a deep breath in five.
- 5:13Hold it for 5 release for five and do that five times.
- 5:17So I did that and the the amount of stress that was lifted just
- 5:21from doing that was incredible. I feel like it's a kind of whole
- 5:24like, you know count to 10 before he kind of exploded with
- 5:27rage. It's that similar process, but
- 5:29when breathing it actually They physical benefit because you're
- 5:32actually pushing oxygen around the body, which is exactly what
- 5:34your body needs, you know, oxygen water food pretty basic
- 5:37pretty simple and it needs all of those things.
- 5:39So if you feel like you are about to have a panic attack or
- 5:43you're having a panic attack and you think I'm gonna do and
- 5:45you're stressed out and you don't know what you're going to
- 5:47do and there's all kinds of stuff going on because let's
- 5:49face it a panic attack isn't a perfect situation.
- 5:52It's never a perfect scenario. Nobody enjoys it it's not a good
- 5:55thing. What do you do first thing?
- 5:57You do. Take a step back put your knees
- 5:59together feet flat on the floor. Floor hands on your knees take a
- 6:03deep breath in for five. Hold it for five and breathe out
- 6:06for five. Honestly, you try this right now
- 6:09because I feel quite tense most of the time so I always have to
- 6:11do this breathing technique to keep calming me down during the
- 6:14day. So I challenge you to this right
- 6:16now pause the video do the breathing technique then go down
- 6:20below and write me a comment and let me know how awesome you feel
- 6:23right now super pumped about it guys.
- 6:25Love it. Okay tip number 3 and how to
- 6:32deal with panic attacks love this stuff.
- 6:33I love it. I love helping people.
- 6:35This is like my goal my goal of it.
- 6:37Okay drinking water what none? So this is what happens when
- 6:43you're having a panic attack you're taking in large gulps of
- 6:47short breath and this is going to dry out your mouth and then
- 6:50eventually going to dry out you as a person to make it
- 6:53dehydrated and you going to feel really like, oh my goodness look
- 6:56at little spit left in my mouth, you know, there's no saliva.
- 6:58That I'm feeling super anxious and and I can't breathe and now
- 7:02and what happens is when you're dehydrated your body kind of
- 7:05rushes fluid to the area's I getting really agitated and then
- 7:08you start sweating and all that kind of stuff and this obviously
- 7:11pulls water away from the brain and then you're also going to
- 7:14feel a headache. So it's kind of like a headache
- 7:17is a byproduct from having a panic attack because you taking
- 7:20in these groups of are and not hydrating yourself as as
- 7:22happens. So while a lot of people do is
- 7:24that they huge panic attack and they're short breath in the
- 7:26another dehydrating themselves, and then they Hydrate themselves
- 7:29afterwards. So this is a super hack.
- 7:33If you've just had a panic attack straight away the first
- 7:35thing you need to do and tell everybody who looks after you
- 7:37and cares for you and everybody lives in you to do this get
- 7:40yourself a glass of water and drink like half a point of water
- 7:43straight after I'm gonna panic attack your body will be
- 7:45replenishing the water that's lost because of obviously
- 7:48panicking and shortness of breath and then you'll have a
- 7:50little bit of time to relax and that actually also helps you
- 7:52breathe when you're drinking so this is going to help you like
- 7:55tenfold and the last thing you want.
- 7:57This is the last thing you want. Having a panic attack and you
- 7:59feel rubbish and you having a rubbish day and all this stuff.
- 8:02The last thing you want to do is go.
- 8:04Oh, yeah. Now I have a headache and it's
- 8:07going to last me for God knows how long because once you've got
- 8:09the headache. It's just going to be there
- 8:10nagging away and it's like eating way and so that's not a
- 8:13good thing. You want a good chance at just
- 8:15surviving this panic attack. And this is what all these
- 8:18dealing tips are all about like Okay, let's move on to the step
- 8:25number four. I'll tip him for the tip just
- 8:27everything tips of then the steps.
- 8:29Okay number four is probably my favorite one and it's super
- 8:32super interesting. It's after coming down go and do
- 8:35something relaxing but fun. I mean this is a no-brainer and
- 8:38you would think it is a no-brainer but check this out.
- 8:40Most people after they come down from having an anxiety attack
- 8:44logo relax, but at relaxing is only partly a way to fix it a
- 8:48panic attack. Also, yes increases your body to
- 8:51stimulate yourself and then you don't see We stimulated in your
- 8:54wound up. So relaxing is going to help
- 8:55calm you down and bring you back to kind of like neutral kind of
- 8:58zero and that's fine. But one thing that does happen
- 9:01is the panic attack Implement something of a negative action
- 9:04on your body and your mind and your spirit and you as a person
- 9:07so that negative like you just hanging on you is not fun.
- 9:10It's the opposite of fun, you know, it's not fun and because
- 9:14of that what you need to do is force out the not fun with
- 9:16something that is fun. So to me, this is a classic
- 9:19example of a relaxing yet fun. So Scenario, so you have a panic
- 9:24attack and then you come down you have a glass of water and
- 9:26you do breathing and okay, I'm back now.
- 9:27So you go home and you learn your bed or your couch or
- 9:29whatever you feel comfortable the most then you put on your
- 9:32games console or a Netflix movie Something That Sparks joy and
- 9:35fun in your life and you just play the game or watch the movie
- 9:38or I don't know like knit or whatever.
- 9:40It is. The thing that you do that makes
- 9:42you feel like you're having fun do that because it's so
- 9:44important people forget people think you just need to relax.
- 9:47You just need to calm down. You just need to kind of like
- 9:50talk about the situation talking about situation does work.
- 9:52Yes. In therapy because maybe we
- 9:55should look at that video on anxiety therapies.
- 9:57But what I'm trying to give you is Real Life practical ways that
- 9:59you can instantly Implement something without having to do
- 10:01anything else. Just whatever you have on you to
- 10:03do this. You can do this just off the
- 10:06cuff just be like, okay now I'm going to relax I'm gonna have
- 10:09some fun and having fun is the best way because smiling and
- 10:13laughing feeds the soul. And isn't that what we're all
- 10:16about. I mean like why wouldn't you
- 10:17want to feed your soul don't want to feel better and I use
- 10:20all of these like every single one of these I've used I've
- 10:22tried I've tested and they work brilliantly.
- 10:25So all four of these steps are going to greatly reduce your
- 10:29panic attacks and anxiety and stress that are related to panic
- 10:31attacks. And this is typically how to
- 10:33deal with panic attacks. Like this is how I would deal
- 10:36with panic attacks. So I'm passing them on to you
- 10:38you are now gaining this for me now, so don't forget to grab
- 10:42your ebook. That's gonna be super awesome
- 10:43for you. And I know you're going to love
- 10:44it. Thank you so much.
