- 0:02Speaker 1: What's going on already this morning there bob you all
- 0:06Speaker 1: right i know you came in here giggly already you
- 0:09Speaker 1: know how there's that one guy who's like the keeper
- 0:11Speaker 1: of the building yeah sort of like the maintenance guy
- 0:14Speaker 1: yeah everything that's late 60s early 70s yeah yeah so
- 0:20Speaker 1: i come in the back door i'm back door bob
- 0:22Speaker 1: i come into the building through the back door yeah
- 0:25Speaker 1: and he's smoking a stogie inside the building.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I'm like, what? Wait, not inside? Where? Like in that hallway,
- 0:34Speaker 2: the entranceway there.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Oh, okay, so he's by the back door, but he's
- 0:38Speaker 1: not far enough from the building because when you smoke, well,
- 0:41Speaker 1: usually people just smoke cigarettes, but we got a couple
- 0:44Speaker 1: people who still smoke heaters. You got to be like
- 0:47Speaker 1: away from the building. My guy got a cigar lit inside. Oh, man,
- 0:51Speaker 1: that's a guy who does not care at all. all
- 0:54Speaker 1: anymore and i just give uh hey good morning you
- 0:57Speaker 1: know what do you say to a like 60 70
- 1:00Speaker 1: year old man when you walk in a building he's
- 1:02Speaker 1: just a guy at five in the morning smoking a
- 1:05Speaker 1: cigar because there's usually nobody even here so i'm face
- 1:08Speaker 1: to face with this guy i gotta give him the
- 1:10Speaker 1: good morning it's stunning even to see another person when
- 1:13Speaker 1: we come in here yeah.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Let alone smoking these gives me i can't believe this
- 1:16Speaker 2: job And I go, what? I said, what? You know,
- 1:22Speaker 2: I got to go, what, at that point?
- 1:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Can't believe this job.
- 1:25Speaker 1: What, it's got you smoking a cigar at 5 in
- 1:28Speaker 1: the morning in a building?
- 1:29Speaker 2: He's like, I'm up killing bees already this morning. Killing bees!
- 1:34Speaker 2: Is there bees somewhere? Yeah, he goes, there's bees around
- 1:38Speaker 2: the front door by the mailbox. Oh, no. Early morning
- 1:44Speaker 2: bee killer? Oh, he's smoking them out, I'm guessing, with
- 1:47Speaker 2: the cigars. Oh, no, I can't. That's not it.
- 1:50Speaker 3: That's not it.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I don't know what kind of powers he has. Don't
- 1:54Speaker 2: beekeepers use a smoker? Yeah, not this guy. Dude, maybe
- 1:57Speaker 2: that's what it is. Not this guy. Hey, listen.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Earth ain't going too good. We got to keep these
- 2:01Speaker 1: bees around. We got to protect the bees, all right?
- 2:03Speaker 1: So I ain't here to kill the bees. I ain't
- 2:05Speaker 1: here to move their nest or anything here.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I'm just here. I'm here to blow the smoke at them.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Smoke them out at the front door. Let them know.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Get on out of here. Get on up.
- 2:15Speaker 1: What an encounter you had already this morning. I just
- 2:17Speaker 1: came and I go, oh, wow, man, that's rough. And
- 2:20Speaker 1: then I just kept walking. All right, dude, I'm going
- 2:23Speaker 1: to go turn on microphones, talk to Pittsburgh for a
- 2:26Speaker 1: couple hours here. Nice start to your morning there, Bob. Yesterday,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I wouldn't say we got a package delivered yesterday, but
- 2:36Speaker 1: we found a package yesterday. this is one of our
- 2:41Speaker 1: favorite stories of people mailing things to the station.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah. We've ever had, we will get to that next.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Also sold out tickets to go see role model, opening
- 2:52Speaker 1: up the citizens live at the Wiley. That's coming up
- 2:54Speaker 1: around eight 30 this morning. It's Mikey and Bob 96.
- 2:56Speaker 4: One.
- 2:57Speaker 1: We get a lot of packages sent to the station,
- 3:00Speaker 1: which we absolutely love. We have the best listeners. The
- 3:03Speaker 1: fact that you all spend your time and money, whether
- 3:06Speaker 1: you're making us something or buying something for us and,
- 3:09Speaker 1: And then, you know, spending the postage and everything.
- 3:13Speaker 2: It's awesome. We don't take it for granted.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Whenever we get like a package or an invitation to
- 3:19Speaker 1: a wedding or a card, it means a lot to us.
- 3:23Speaker 1: So one of our wonderful listeners, Gina, you might know
- 3:27Speaker 1: her as Toilet T-Rex on the show. She said she
- 3:31Speaker 1: sent something for Bob that was supposed to be here
- 3:34Speaker 1: last week. And it was something for your Dodge Ram
- 3:40Speaker 1: that you have, Bob, from C. Harper Auto Group, the
- 3:43Speaker 1: sponsor of the Mikey and Bob podcast. You know, we
- 3:45Speaker 1: were talking about Casey Musgraves, too. She was just in
- 3:48Speaker 1: town this week, and she floats over the crowd like
- 3:51Speaker 1: on a pair of sparkly truck nuts.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:54Speaker 1: So Gina, the toilet T-Rex, said that she was getting
- 3:58Speaker 1: you a pair, right, of truck nuts for your truck.
- 4:03Speaker 1: She kept telling me, hey, did they come yet? And
- 4:05Speaker 1: I'm like, no, we didn't get, no, there hasn't been
- 4:08Speaker 1: a package with your name. Like, no, I have not
- 4:11Speaker 1: gotten truck nuts yet. Nothing's shown up. And I didn't
- 4:14Speaker 1: know about this until yesterday. So then we're walking out
- 4:17Speaker 1: of the station yesterday and I see a package. There
- 4:22Speaker 1: is a place where people put packages that aren't labeled
- 4:25Speaker 1: to anybody specific. Or if people are like, nobody works
- 4:29Speaker 1: here by this name, whose package is this? Yeah. So
- 4:32Speaker 1: she didn't send it to us. She sent it with
- 4:34Speaker 1: her name on it. And she doesn't work here.
- 4:37Speaker 2: This package wasn't sitting like in our office.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Nope.
- 4:39Speaker 2: By the front door. It was in our building by
- 4:41Speaker 2: the front door.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It was sitting in like a communal area where other
- 4:45Speaker 1: people in the building work.
- 4:47Speaker 2: And it's like, whose package is this?
- 4:50Speaker 1: And I see the name Gina as we're walking out
- 4:54Speaker 1: and I go, Bob, hold on. And I turn the
- 4:58Speaker 1: package over and it's, it's taped together. Like somebody had
- 5:04Speaker 1: already opened it, saw what was inside.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And went, that's not mine. So somebody, maybe.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Multiple people, probably not somebody that works with us. Even
- 5:14Speaker 1: somebody in our building.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Opened it up and it is a large pair of
- 5:20Speaker 3: blue truck nuts somebody open it and just surprise surprise
- 5:25Speaker 3: it might have been 10 20 people somebody saw.
- 5:30Speaker 1: A package there and said you know what this is
- 5:31Speaker 1: sitting here i you know maybe i'm the building manager
- 5:34Speaker 1: i mean if you're in one of the offices it's
- 5:36Speaker 1: unbelievable The other offices in our building and you open that.
- 5:39Speaker 2: What are you thinking? You got to show it around
- 5:42Speaker 2: to the office too. You're not going to believe this.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I bet people took pictures going, hey.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I bet yesterday when we were doing the show in here,
- 5:50Speaker 1: there was a parade of people just going, go open
- 5:53Speaker 1: the package that's sitting right by the outside doors.
- 5:57Speaker 2: And then people would come back and be like, oh
- 5:59Speaker 2: my God. It's a huge pair of knots.
- 6:03Speaker 6: Huge, huge.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Thank you, Toilet T-Rex. Appreciate it. Thank you, Toilet T-Rex.
- 6:10Speaker 2: The Mikey and Bob Podcast.
- 6:13Speaker 1: All right, let's hear from Weed Nico, who listens to
- 6:16Speaker 1: the show all the way in the state of Washington.
- 6:18Speaker 7: Oh, f * * *.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Stream the Mikey and Bob podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Get your podcasts.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Hey, thank you for listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast. Now,
- 6:37Speaker 1: whatever you're listening on, we appreciate it. Thank you.
- 6:42Speaker 8: Yep.
- 6:42Speaker 1: But if you're listening on our free iHeartRadio app, you
- 6:45Speaker 1: can hit that little talkback microphone.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Send us a message. You can send us a message about.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Previous shows, the latest show. something you want us to
- 6:55Speaker 1: cover on the show. Let us know where you're listening
- 6:58Speaker 1: from too.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah. That's fun too.
- 7:00Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:00Speaker 2: People in random places. Yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I hit that little talk back microphone and you can
- 7:05Speaker 1: send us a message and maybe you'll make the show.
- 7:09Speaker 1: NFL season's here. Did you watch it last night? You
- 7:12Speaker 1: watch any of the game?
- 7:13Speaker 2: I did.
- 7:13Speaker 1: The Seahawks beat the Patriots 13 to 10 last night
- 7:17Speaker 1: on NBC to open the NFL season. Drake May from
- 7:20Speaker 1: the Patriots basically throwing an interception in the end zone
- 7:23Speaker 1: to effectively end the game there. Hey, that's good news
- 7:27Speaker 1: for us in the AFC of Steelers fans. You got
- 7:29Speaker 1: an NFC team beat the AFC team, right? Patriots seem
- 7:32Speaker 1: to be in the mix. Always, always like seeing the
- 7:34Speaker 1: Patriots lose. Yeah, it's a good, it's a good start
- 7:36Speaker 1: to the NFL season. Tomlin's really good too. Not that
- 7:40Speaker 1: I didn't expect him to be good, but he's good.
- 7:42Speaker 1: He's like real good. Well, you know, they clear all
- 7:46Speaker 1: the way and let him talk, you know? Yeah, he's
- 7:48Speaker 1: so close to being a head coach in the NFL
- 7:51Speaker 1: that he still knows all these players, you know, even
- 7:55Speaker 1: the rookies. He's probably scouted and known through college. So, yeah,
- 7:59Speaker 1: Tomlin's good on TV. I don't think that's surprised. Uh,
- 8:02Speaker 1: anybody it's Mikey and Bob here on 96, one kiss,
- 8:05Speaker 1: no update on Joey Porter jr. Doesn't have a deal done.
- 8:08Speaker 1: He was limited in practice yesterday due to a back injury.
- 8:12Speaker 1: That doesn't even sound real. Any injury with Joey Porter jr.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Right now. It doesn't seem real. He's just not playing.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Cause he, he needs that new contract.
- 8:20Speaker 1: So, uh, up in the air for Sunday is the, uh,
- 8:25Speaker 1: sources reporting on that, that it's up in the air.
- 8:29Speaker 1: for Sunday, season opener, home opener for Joey Porter Jr.
- 8:32Speaker 1: We're getting pretty damn close here.
- 8:35Speaker 2: We are.
- 8:35Speaker 1: We are getting close. Hopefully a deal gets done in
- 8:37Speaker 1: the next couple of days here. We want to send
- 8:40Speaker 1: you to the game, though. If you want to win
- 8:42Speaker 1: some Steelers tickets, download our free iHeartRadio app. Then when
- 8:44Speaker 1: you're streaming 96.1 KISS, send us a talkback message, you know,

- 8:51Speaker 1: go to the game.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Here we go. Steelers. Here we go.

- 9:08Speaker 11: I've been listening to your channel since I was in college,
- 9:11Speaker 11: so that shows my age.
- 9:12Speaker 7: Nice.

- 10:46Speaker 1: Bob uh let's get to a talkback message real quick
- 10:49Speaker 1: here taking us into today in freak show history talkback
- 10:53Speaker 1: messages brought to us by one team media.
- 10:54Speaker 13: Hey team move talk kathy and mark madden come on
- 10:58Speaker 13: come on yeah i just saw a post about um
- 11:04Speaker 13: tosi musgraves uh flying around ppg paints on a disco.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yeah uh truck nut set yeah we've talked about this
- 11:10Speaker 1: casey musgraves and her uh In her show, she sits
- 11:13Speaker 1: on a big pair of disco ball truck nuts and
- 11:16Speaker 1: floats over the stage.
- 11:17Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 11:18Speaker 13: I remember the time Bob said his uvula looked like
- 11:21Speaker 13: a set of truck nuts dangling in the bag of
- 11:22Speaker 13: his throat. I don't remember the rest of the context
- 11:25Speaker 13: of that story, but I just remember it being hilarious.
- 11:28Speaker 13: If you guys could play that for today in Freak
- 11:30Speaker 13: Show History, I'd appreciate it.
- 11:31Speaker 5: Okay.
- 11:31Speaker 14: All right.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Thanks, guys. Go Steelers. Okay. Go Steelers.
- 11:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:34Speaker 2: All right.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Today in Freak Show History, here we go. When Bob
- 11:37Speaker 1: called his uvula a truck knot, here we go. Today
- 11:40Speaker 1: in Freak Show History.
- 11:43Speaker 7: Today in Freak Show History.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So the pink hangy thing in the back of your throat,
- 11:54Speaker 1: it's a uvula.
- 11:56Speaker 2: What the hell is it called, a uvula?
- 11:58Speaker 1: It's like one single truck nut just hanging there in
- 12:00Speaker 1: the back of your throat.
- 12:04Speaker 2: It ain't like a set of truck nuts.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Hell no, hell no. It's like if for some reason
- 12:08Speaker 1: they only sold one single truck nut is what it is.
- 12:13Speaker 2: That's my throat truck nut back there.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I got abducted by aliens 45 years ago, and let
- 12:20Speaker 1: me tell you, this lady alien had her finger down
- 12:23Speaker 1: my throat with just flicking my truck nut.
- 12:28Speaker 2: All right, calm down. Let's see what's going on in Arkansas.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Dentures left behind by a man who admitted he tried
- 12:37Speaker 1: breaking into someone's house.
- 12:38Speaker 2: We have dentures left behind. Somebody called and won their
- 12:41Speaker 2: teeth back. This is unusual.
- 12:44Speaker 1: The false teeth found outside that very home.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Man, this is crazy for sure.
- 12:49Speaker 11: This run of the mill neighborhood got a taste of
- 12:51Speaker 11: weird after Mark Mobley and his wife noticed something odd
- 12:55Speaker 11: in their driveway.
- 12:57Speaker 2: All right. It was a single Trump note.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Sometimes them truck nuts, they don't get secured on the
- 13:07Speaker 1: back of the trucks good enough. And sometimes you'll see
- 13:10Speaker 1: a truck nut fall off. But we woke up and
- 13:14Speaker 1: we saw somebody tried to get in our house. But
- 13:16Speaker 1: I looked in the driveway and all I saw was
- 13:19Speaker 1: one damn single truck nut.
- 13:21Speaker 2: And not even a set. What am I supposed to
- 13:23Speaker 2: do with a single truck nut?
- 13:27Speaker 1: Like this Arkansas burglar who left dentures like a full
- 13:31Speaker 1: set of teeth behind has no chance, right? Because it's
- 13:34Speaker 1: all just going to end with us and truck nuts.
- 13:36Speaker 11: Throwing some trash out in the trash can.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Saw a set of dentures. And a set of truck nuts, too.
- 13:41Speaker 11: The couple posted the teeth discovery online in a neighborhood page.
- 13:46Speaker 11: Shortly after that, they got a message in return.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I can't even pay attention to what's happening in this
- 13:52Speaker 1: story right now, because all.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I can think about... Yeah, those teeth are mine. Did
- 13:55Speaker 2: you find my truck nut, too?
- 13:56Speaker 11: It was a man seeking his teeth, admitting that he
- 14:00Speaker 11: tried breaking into their car.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Listen, I broke into your car, and I think I
- 14:04Speaker 1: left my teeth here. By the way, did you find
- 14:06Speaker 1: a truck nut?
- 14:07Speaker 11: Mark got police involved. Officers negotiated a teeth transaction.
- 14:12Speaker 1: All right, I'll trade you my set of teeth if
- 14:15Speaker 1: you can find the other damn truck nubs somewhere around here.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Then arrested this man.
- 14:20Speaker 11: John Richard was booked into jail on an unrelated misdemeanor warrant.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Is anybody keeping a.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Keeping track of what's happening in the story, a guy
- 14:29Speaker 1: tried to break into people's house and somehow his teeth
- 14:31Speaker 1: fell out and he left.
- 14:32Speaker 2: How don't you notice? Your teeth are gone. Your damn
- 14:35Speaker 2: teeth fell out.
- 14:36Speaker 11: It's unclear if he'll face charges for the danger of debacle.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Check this.
- 14:41Speaker 10: Check this.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Spit my teeth out.
- 14:47Speaker 11: Now, there was no damage to the couple's home, and
- 14:49Speaker 11: the man did get his teeth back as he was
- 14:52Speaker 11: booked into the jail.
- 14:53Speaker 2: According to the police report. They had to get with
- 14:56Speaker 2: the cops. He got his teeth back. Everything's fine. What
- 14:59Speaker 2: the hell? I didn't get back, though. I tried to
- 15:02Speaker 2: explain it to them.
- 15:03Speaker 1: They didn't even know what I'm talking about, and I said,
- 15:05Speaker 1: truck nuts! You know, if you got a badass truck,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you gotta have a.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Set on the back of it so everybody knows you
- 15:14Speaker 2: ain't somebody....
- 15:22Speaker 1: We got your chance at Steelers season opener, home opener
- 15:25Speaker 1: tickets against the Falcons for Sunday. All you got to
- 15:28Speaker 1: do is send us a talkback message through the free
- 15:30Speaker 1: iHeartRadio app before Friday at 10 a.m.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Hi, my name is Kaylin.
- 15:34Speaker 12: I'm from Irwin. I have never been to a Steeler
- 15:37Speaker 12: game and I'm 39 years old. I've been a cheerleader
- 15:39Speaker 12: all through high school, my whole life.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I just really want to go. All right, cheerleader. You're qualified.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Let's get to another one. 96-1 Kiss and the Steelers.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 15:51Speaker 5: Oh, boy.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Steelers.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Super Bowl.
- 15:54Speaker 1: What?
- 15:54Speaker 9: Pittsburgh's going to the Super Bowl.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I mean, it was a good.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Effort, though.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I was carried away with it. Double Super Bowl. Calm down, dude.
- 16:03Speaker 1: First game I didn't even play yet. Here we go.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Steelers. Super Bowl. No, it's not. No, you got to wait. Okay.

- 16:55Speaker 1: it does, but it's for dogs.
- 16:58Speaker 2: It's for dogs. And then we read the Facebook comments.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Uh-oh.
- 17:01Speaker 2: We are going to a very deep, dark place on
- 17:04Speaker 2: the internet.
- 17:05Speaker 7: It's time for 96.1 KISS Facebook comments.
- 17:09Speaker 1: The Girl Scouts are making their first ever cookies for dogs.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Ashley J in the Facebook comments.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Anyone else want to sneak a bite of the dog
- 17:18Speaker 1: cookie just to see how it tastes?
- 17:20Speaker 15: Just a little.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. A little nipple.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Huh?
- 17:24Speaker 2: Jennifer D.
- 17:25Speaker 1: love this idea, but blueberries give my doodle horrible gas.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Heather R.
- 17:33Speaker 1: take your $ 15 box of dog cookies and shove them.
- 17:38Speaker 2: All right. No. You're telling the Girl Scouts. Not the
- 17:42Speaker 2: Girl Scouts. Carol H.
- 17:45Speaker 15: last time I got my dog's gourmet dog cookies from
- 17:49Speaker 15: a local bakery, I walked in the kitchen, and my
- 17:52Speaker 15: husband had already eaten half a dozen of them. I
- 17:56Speaker 15: didn't have the heart to tell him they were.
- 17:58Speaker 2: For the dog. All right, you know what? Half a
- 18:00Speaker 2: dozen deep. Courtney H.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Here. My cats are all officially offended, especially the mama cat.
- 18:10Speaker 2: They want Girl Scouts catnip. I don't know if we
- 18:12Speaker 2: need catnip. Cat treats?
- 18:14Speaker 1: Let the dog thing take off. They'll be with cat
- 18:17Speaker 1: treats in a matter of no time.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Kelly W. I get my cookies at Aldi's. All right. Okay.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Sean M. For dogs.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I stopped buying Girl Scout cookies when they started. Giving
- 18:28Speaker 1: you a dozen cookies for $ 6 a box. I'll take
- 18:31Speaker 1: my poor ass to Aldi's when I want a cookie treat.
- 18:34Speaker 2: A lot of Aldi love. Julie B.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Again, these are the Facebook comments because Girl Scout cookies
- 18:39Speaker 1: are making dog cookies now.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Julie B.
- 18:42Speaker 1: My dogs only eat beef treats.
- 18:45Speaker 2: The cookies give them diarrhea. Thanks for sharing. Why do
- 18:50Speaker 2: you need to tell everyone? I don't know. Tracy M. here.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I had an uncle.
- 18:58Speaker 5: Oh, no, boy.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Every Facebook comment that starts with I had an uncle.
- 19:03Speaker 2: He's only allowed beef treats, too. You know why? All right.
- 19:15Speaker 1: It's the last comment right here. Girl Scout cookies are
- 19:18Speaker 1: making dog treats now.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I had an uncle who used to eat dog food.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Everyone used to call him Uncle's Kibbles and Bits.
- 19:29Speaker 2: 96.1 Kiss.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Your chance at sold-out tickets to go see Role Model
- 19:37Speaker 1: open up the Citizens Live at the Wiley, the brand
- 19:40Speaker 1: new venue right across from the arena. Sold-out Role Model
- 19:44Speaker 1: tickets coming up around 8.30 on 96.1 Kiss. It is
- 19:47Speaker 1: Mikey and Bob. Let's get to this talkback message real quick.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Brought to us by One Team Media.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Hey, Mikey and Bob. Stacey from Ambridge.
- 19:54Speaker 8: I might start laughing because I was watching the Chef Tom, like, new, like,
- 19:58Speaker 8: steak timber unveiling.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Yeah, our buddy Chef Tom from Gecko was in the
- 20:03Speaker 1: studio the other day, brought us up a bunch of
- 20:05Speaker 1: treats and everything, made me a Giant Eagle birthday cake
- 20:09Speaker 1: with my face on it. Yeah, you can see the
- 20:13Speaker 1: video of us in the studio with Chef Tom. That's
- 20:16Speaker 1: on my Instagram page, if you're following me on Instagram, FSMikey.
- 20:20Speaker 12: And then you panned Bob in the background, and he's like.
- 20:27Speaker 15: Private dancer, a dancer for money. Do what you want
- 20:34Speaker 15: me to do.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:36Speaker 1: All right. So listen, you got to go watch the
- 20:38Speaker 1: video on my Instagram page. But basically, Chef Tom has
- 20:43Speaker 1: a peacock. that lives in and around his house. What's
- 20:46Speaker 1: this peacock's name, by the way?
- 20:47Speaker 2: Kevin. Kevin, that's right. He brought in peacock feathers.
- 20:50Speaker 1: So as Chef Tom is telling us, hey, it's steak
- 20:52Speaker 1: timber at get-go and showing us all the food, Bob
- 20:55Speaker 1: is in the corner of the studio dancing seductively with
- 20:58Speaker 1: peacock feathers. Mike's trying to be serious. Take the video.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Chef Tom's trying to show off the food does. And
- 21:04Speaker 1: here I am in the back corner. Can't trust my
- 21:06Speaker 1: guy with any sort of tickle feathers.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Don't give me the feathers. Give the big guy feathers.
- 21:11Speaker 2: He's going to put on a show for you. It's
- 21:13Speaker 2: just what Bob does. I do what comes natural. It's
- 21:16Speaker 2: just what he does. If you hand me feathers, expect
- 21:18Speaker 2: a show. All right.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Let me get to this message we got here, because
- 21:22Speaker 1: this message doesn't have anything to do with the Steelers
- 21:26Speaker 1: and what they're looking like this season, the start of
- 21:29Speaker 1: the season or anything. It's not even a request for
- 21:32Speaker 1: Steelers tickets. Somebody wanted to tell us a story about
- 21:35Speaker 1: Steely McBeam, the Steelers mascot, that I don't really think anybody.
- 21:41Speaker 1: It's nobody's favorite mascot in the city, right? It's Steely McBean, right?
- 21:46Speaker 6: Hey, guys.
- 21:47Speaker 9: So I did the Steelers Run Rock 5K, which is
- 21:51Speaker 9: like on Labor Day. They have it every year.
- 21:55Speaker 16: And at the end of the race, like after, they
- 21:57Speaker 16: do a bunch of stuff. And then one of the
- 21:59Speaker 16: things that they do is this kids' fun run. They
- 22:02Speaker 16: just line kids up from, I don't know, three to nine.
- 22:06Speaker 1: And then.
- 22:08Speaker 16: They send them off in waves to run across the field.
- 22:11Speaker 9: It's like a race, whoever finishes.
- 22:14Speaker 5: It's awesome.
- 22:14Speaker 9: People cheer and their parents are there. Everybody has a
- 22:17Speaker 9: good time.
- 22:17Speaker 2: It's fun.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Yeah, kids.
- 22:19Speaker 9: Well, Steely McBean is there showing face. He's walking around.
- 22:27Speaker 9: And he jumps in on the nine-year-old race, right? He partakes.
- 22:32Speaker 5: All right.
- 22:32Speaker 9: And I'm telling you, man, this is exactly why.
- 22:35Speaker 16: Steely McBean, he should not be invited to these kinds
- 22:39Speaker 16: of events.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Okay, hold on. We're at Steely should be banned from
- 22:44Speaker 2: children's events? Steeler's 5K.
- 22:46Speaker 1: He's telling a story about how Steely McBeam is racing
- 22:49Speaker 1: a bunch of nine-year-olds.
- 22:51Speaker 9: Like, he just shouldn't be, you know?
- 22:52Speaker 16: I know it's a different sport, but bring Iceberg.
- 22:56Speaker 9: Bring a parrot. Like, bring somebody other than... I mean, heck,
- 23:01Speaker 9: the pierogies.
- 23:03Speaker 2: I mean, yeah. The Steeler 5K, though.
- 23:05Speaker 17: Right.
- 23:05Speaker 1: They're not going to be like, hey, our mascot kind
- 23:07Speaker 1: of sucks. Can we use any of the good ones?
- 23:09Speaker 9: They race all the time, right?
- 23:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, pierogies do race all the time. If
- 23:13Speaker 1: you're racing kids, the pierogies are the ones to get,
- 23:16Speaker 1: not Steeling.
- 23:16Speaker 9: Like, it just would make sense.
- 23:18Speaker 16: But no, Steeling McNeil shows up, and he's running with
- 23:22Speaker 16: the nine-year-olds.
- 23:23Speaker 9: So they line up. And then they start.
- 23:25Speaker 2: And they're off.
- 23:27Speaker 9: And the kids are running.
- 23:28Speaker 16: People are cheering. Steely McBeam is running. He's with all
- 23:32Speaker 16: the kids running across the field. And it's coming down
- 23:34Speaker 16: to the end. It's coming down to the wire.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Steely, don't do it.
- 23:38Speaker 16: The kid that was right in front of... Steely McBean,
- 23:42Speaker 16: he trips him. Steely McBean tripped a kid, and that
- 23:45Speaker 16: kid fell flat on his face at the very finish.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Okay, now, again, I cannot confirm or deny this. I
- 23:51Speaker 1: was not at the Steelers 5K. He is claiming that
- 23:54Speaker 1: Steely McBean basically ran over a nine-year-old to win the race.
- 23:58Speaker 9: It's just, like, not a good look for Steely McBean,
- 24:01Speaker 9: you know?
- 24:02Speaker 1: I mean, no.
- 24:03Speaker 9: He just don't got a lot going for him, I
- 24:05Speaker 9: feel like. I mean, he's already like the one.
- 24:07Speaker 16: Mascot in Pittsburgh that I feel like everybody kind of
- 24:10Speaker 16: almost forgets about. And then the times you remember him,
- 24:14Speaker 16: it's like instances like this, you know, the Steelers run
- 24:18Speaker 16: lock 5K kids fun run trips nine-year-old.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Okay, I mean, all right.
- 24:23Speaker 16: All that to say, Steelers run lock 5K, it's a
- 24:26Speaker 16: great time.
- 24:27Speaker 9: Yeah. You know, I had a blast.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:30Speaker 9: I'd do it again.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Sure.
- 24:31Speaker 9: But, like, let's just think about.
- 24:34Speaker 16: How we utilize stealing the game just, like, a little
- 24:37Speaker 16: bit more, you know?
- 24:38Speaker 9: Like, use them pierogies. The pierogies aren't going to trip kids.
- 24:42Speaker 2: The pierogies aren't going to trip kids!
- 24:45Speaker 1: Which, by the way, I don't know if that's true either.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Some of them pierogies, like Bacon Burt looks like he
- 24:50Speaker 1: would trip a kid. Potato Pete would trip a kid.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Jalapeno Hannah would never trip a kid. It sounded like
- 24:55Speaker 1: it was a heated race and Steely was losing. And
- 24:58Speaker 1: it sounded like Steely could not take the L. I
- 25:01Speaker 1: wonder if Steely goes back and people are just making
- 25:04Speaker 1: fun of him like, you lost to a nine-year-old?
- 25:07Speaker 2: You know?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Like, maybe Steely lost a race to a nine-year-old before.
- 25:11Speaker 2: In another Steelers 5K and said, not again on my watch.
- 25:13Speaker 1: You might think the wacky Steely head might impair Steely's
- 25:17Speaker 1: vision and it was just an accident, but Steely's got
- 25:20Speaker 1: that tiger inside, you know?
- 25:22Speaker 2: Steely wasn't looking to lose that race. I don't think
- 25:24Speaker 2: he does. No, Steely don't have no tiger inside of him.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Steely's just.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Steely ain't got no tiger.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Steely is just... What noise does he make? I don't know.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Isn't that how they make him sound on the DV
- 25:38Speaker 1: morning show? Or was that like 20 years ago? I
- 25:41Speaker 1: don't know. Steely McBean. Careful out there if your kids
- 25:47Speaker 1: are racing Steely. Apparently he wants to win at all costs.
- 25:52Speaker 1: We're getting closer to the Steelers opening the season on
- 25:57Speaker 1: Sunday afternoon. It seems like we might be getting closer
- 26:00Speaker 1: also to seeing Mike Tomlin's Minecraft City that he's been
- 26:05Speaker 1: working on for over a decade now. It's Mikey and
- 26:08Speaker 1: Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Dino, Coach Tomlin's son, posted...
- 26:15Speaker 1: He wants me to record it all and put it
- 26:18Speaker 1: on YouTube.
- 26:19Speaker 2: But we got to.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Break it into sections, though, where the video would be
- 26:21Speaker 1: two hours long. Chat, is that what we want? I'm
- 26:25Speaker 1: not going to record and edit if the streets don't
- 26:27Speaker 1: want it. Can't just release the copy of the world
- 26:31Speaker 1: because there's bleep in there.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Wait, what?
- 26:35Speaker 1: He has stuff that's not safe for public consumption in
- 26:38Speaker 1: his Minecraft city or something like that?
- 26:39Speaker 2: Is that what Dino's saying? Two hours to get through
- 26:41Speaker 2: the entire thing also?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Dude, listen. The 12-year build. If it's him narrating his city...
- 26:50Speaker 1: I mean, I'd watch it in parts, but I would
- 26:53Speaker 1: sit there and watch Coach Tomlin telling me about his
- 26:55Speaker 1: Minecraft city.
- 26:56Speaker 2: He's got to be the one.
- 26:57Speaker 1: He has to be the one to narrate it.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yes, and then I will sit there and watch it
- 27:02Speaker 2: for two hours.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I feel like I owe it to him. Tell us
- 27:06Speaker 1: the reason why he built things the way he did.
- 27:08Speaker 1: He deserves it. He deserves it. You know, he's been
- 27:10Speaker 1: working on it for 12 years. The least we can
- 27:12Speaker 1: do is take an hour or two and have Coach
- 27:15Speaker 1: Tomlin tell us all about his Minecraft city. He was
- 27:17Speaker 1: good last night, though, on the... The NFL kickoff game,
- 27:21Speaker 1: of course, if you didn't stay up for it last night.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Seahawks beat the Patriots 13-10. We got the Australia game
- 27:27Speaker 1: tonight on Netflix. Rams and Niners around 8.30.
- 27:30Speaker 2: It's Mikey and Bob on 96.1 KISS. Let's get to this.
- 27:32Speaker 2: We're all going to.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Learn something together right now.
- 27:36Speaker 2: It's time to find out. Why the hell is this trending?
- 27:39Speaker 2: With Mikey and Babs. iPhone that folds. Oh, daddy, daddy.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Get me one. Get me one.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Get me one.
- 27:53Speaker 2: I want the new folding iPhone, daddy. iPhone duo. Oh,
- 28:00Speaker 2: my gosh. It folds, daddy. It folds. All right. So.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Pre-orders and everything. It's like $ 2, 000. Yeah, it's a lot.
- 28:09Speaker 9: $ 2, 000.
- 28:09Speaker 1: They finally got an iPhone that folds so you can
- 28:12Speaker 1: make the screen bigger. It's called Duo, which the Duolingo
- 28:15Speaker 1: mascot's named Duo. Duo should go to California and fight
- 28:19Speaker 1: everybody at Apple. Or just light the place on fire.
- 28:22Speaker 2: One of the two. Duo seems like... An arsonist? Yeah. Yes.
- 28:27Speaker 2: That's what I was looking for. Yes. An arsonist.
- 28:31Speaker 1: So, you know, Apple's always like behind on things like this,
- 28:36Speaker 1: because I think they let other companies like Samsung, like there's.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Like Google, foldable phones and everything.
- 28:43Speaker 1: In some countries, I saw some Japanese phone, I think
- 28:46Speaker 1: that folds like three times.
- 28:47Speaker 2: It's like, all right, Apple. okay a little behind on.
- 28:51Speaker 1: It yeah but whatever apple did their whole thing yesterday
- 28:56Speaker 1: daddy please avengers doomsday comes out december 18th right this
- 29:01Speaker 1: is the next massive marvel movie at spider-man making like
- 29:04Speaker 1: two billion dollars avengers doomsday they announced yesterday has already
- 29:07Speaker 1: made 50 million dollars in in pre-sale tickets.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Three months away, right? Three months away.
- 29:15Speaker 1: And it's made $ 50 million in pre-sale. And now that
- 29:19Speaker 1: that number is out, now people are going to be like, Oh.
- 29:22Speaker 2: I got to get my tickets. Are all the theaters sold?
- 29:24Speaker 2: For opening day or opening night. Everything's sold? What? Now
- 29:27Speaker 2: it's going to be like, you know, people are going
- 29:29Speaker 2: to go buy tickets now.
- 29:30Speaker 1: That has a lot to do probably with the Spider-Man wave, right?
- 29:34Speaker 1: Like just interest in Marvel again?
- 29:36Speaker 2: I think so. I think so, maybe.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Yeah Saturday Night Live released their hosts and musical guests
- 29:43Speaker 1: for season 52. It's going to premiere September 26th with
- 29:47Speaker 1: Knicks champion Jalen Brunson, the leader of that team. They
- 29:52Speaker 1: won the title and everything. He's hosting for the premiere.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Cat's Eye is the musical guest. And then on October 3rd,
- 29:59Speaker 1: it's Dakota Johnson, musical guest turnstile. october 10th snl it's

- 30:09Speaker 1: gonna be uh hosted by indy uh navarat the uh

- 30:29Speaker 1: and Cat's Eye. And then the next day, September 27th,
- 30:34Speaker 1: I'm telling you, kids and younger generation.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 30:37Speaker 1: The MTV VMAs used to be a must-watch event. This
- 30:41Speaker 1: used to be the height of pop culture. Nobody could
- 30:45Speaker 1: miss it. You couldn't miss it.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Dude, it sounds crazy, but it really was. Beyonce announced.
- 30:51Speaker 2: You had to watch. Her first child. You had to watch.
- 30:54Speaker 2: But she was pregnant with Blue Ivy. it on the VMAs.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Britney dancing with the snake. It's all the classic moments.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Even early 2000s, like early Twitter years, you had to
- 31:05Speaker 1: watch because everybody was online reacting to things happening.
- 31:08Speaker 2: It was huge, man. It was huge. Now it doesn't
- 31:11Speaker 2: seem like it. Now it sounds insane. It sounds old.
- 31:13Speaker 2: I don't even want to watch it anymore.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I bring it up, though, because Nirvana is going to
- 31:19Speaker 1: get this year's Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs.
- 31:22Speaker 2: You know, that's like the big award. Hey, you did
- 31:24Speaker 2: a good job making music videos, so.
- 31:26Speaker 1: nirvana's got classic videos obviously kurt cobain hasn't been with
- 31:30Speaker 1: us for a long time but the thing is they
- 31:33Speaker 1: they there should be like some type of all-star performance
- 31:35Speaker 1: maybe probably that'll happen yeah probably but uh the vmas.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I'm telling you kids this used to be a big
- 31:41Speaker 2: deal man gather around kids let me tell you about
- 31:44Speaker 2: the vma.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Now it's just something where it's like all right i'll
- 31:47Speaker 1: see a clip online or two if anything happens but
- 31:50Speaker 1: i'm not sitting through like 50 minutes of Neutrogena commercials
- 31:54Speaker 1: just so I can, you know, watch the remaining members
- 31:57Speaker 1: of Nirvana get the video, like a moon man.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Britney Spears with the snake man.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Yeah, it seems like it's just different times.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Hey, MTV used to play music videos, kids.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Now you got foldable phones.
- 32:14Speaker 2: What the hell's happening? And now my iPhone falls. My God.
- 32:21Speaker 2: All right.
- 32:23Speaker 1: We will hear from Coach Mike McCarthy heading into the
- 32:26Speaker 1: Steelers opener coming up around 7.55.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. He's meowing.

- 33:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you put that on the back of your trailer
- 33:21Speaker 1: hitch there, and it's got to weather the storm down there,
- 33:24Speaker 1: you know, through everything.
- 33:25Speaker 2: It's got to be durable. It's got to be heavy, man.

- 33:59Speaker 5: Right.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Where are we going?
- 34:05Speaker 9: All right.
- 34:10Speaker 15: Hold on.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I know that there are some people who don't sing,
- 34:13Speaker 1: here we go, Steelers, here we go, Pittsburgh's going to
- 34:16Speaker 1: the Super Bowl until we're actually going to the Super Bowl.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Because it could be a jinx or something. Yeah, sure.
- 34:21Speaker 1: I think he's got the way that this needs to
- 34:23Speaker 1: be handled. Pittsburgh's going to the meow, meow, meow.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Here we go. All right.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Until we go to the super bowl, it's going to
- 34:32Speaker 1: be stuck in my head.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Now it's meow, meow, meow. Now go and do meow, meow, meow.
- 34:38Speaker 1: By the way, speaking of meow, meow, meow, Mike, meow,
- 34:40Speaker 1: Carthy having his first game, first regular season game at
- 34:46Speaker 1: home in this city that he grew up in and just.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 34:51Speaker 1: This guy talking about Pittsburgh and everything, man, I can't
- 34:54Speaker 1: get enough of it.
- 34:55Speaker 2: It's just the best.
- 34:56Speaker 18: I think the fact that being from here, you know,
- 34:59Speaker 18: this is heavy being here. You know, you ride the
- 35:02Speaker 18: streets that you grew up, that you walked on, do
- 35:06Speaker 18: it every day. So, so many great memories here. You know,
- 35:10Speaker 18: some memories that are heavy. So, yeah, that's real. I'm
- 35:15Speaker 18: at the point in my life at this age, I
- 35:17Speaker 18: reflect more than I did 10, 15 years ago. So
- 35:20Speaker 18: that's all part of it. So yeah, definitely I've had
- 35:23Speaker 18: time to do that. But the most important part of
- 35:27Speaker 18: it is the fact that you're the head coach of
- 35:29Speaker 18: the Pittsburgh Steelers, which I have a tremendous amount of
- 35:33Speaker 18: pride in. Not only being from here, but what the
- 35:37Speaker 18: Pittsburgh Steelers stand for and the responsibility that myself and
- 35:41Speaker 18: everybody has to this organization and really to the players
- 35:44Speaker 18: and coaches before us. So Trust me, that lays on
- 35:47Speaker 18: me every single day.
- 35:48Speaker 5: It's important.
- 35:50Speaker 2: It makes me jump out of bed.
- 35:52Speaker 18: I'll definitely be ready to go Sunday.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I got to see video of it if he can
- 35:56Speaker 2: jump out of bed. I don't know. Does anybody jump
- 36:00Speaker 2: out of bed?
- 36:01Speaker 1: I just don't picture him being much of a jumper
- 36:03Speaker 1: in general, let alone out of bed.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Yes, but nobody jumps out of bed, right?
- 36:09Speaker 1: Even if you've got to get up at your alarm,
- 36:11Speaker 1: nobody hears their alarm goes off and immediately jumps out.
- 36:17Speaker 6: No.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Figure of speech.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Mike McCarthy ain't jumping out of bed, or I don't
- 36:24Speaker 1: know if he's getting too much air anywhere, to be honest.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Air McCarthy?
- 36:28Speaker 1: I think like you, Bob, you say it all the time.
- 36:30Speaker 1: We're ground creatures, McCarthy. We're ground creatures, coach. We're not
- 36:34Speaker 1: meant to fly. We're not high flyers.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Mike McCarthy, the Greenfield ground creature.
- 36:41Speaker 1: We're ground and pond, okay? we're not going off the
- 36:45Speaker 1: top rope. We're ground and pond.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Mike McCarthy don't like leaving his feet. All right. Uh,
- 36:50Speaker 2: here was Mike McCarthy.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Of course he was, you know, he's got the history
- 36:53Speaker 1: with Aaron Rogers and the Packers and beat the Steelers
- 36:56Speaker 1: for a Superbowl back in the day. And this is, uh,
- 36:59Speaker 1: it's the first time we're going to see him because
- 37:01Speaker 1: Aaron Rogers didn't play no preseason or anything like that.
- 37:03Speaker 1: So we get regular season, Aaron Rogers, Mike, meow, McCarthy.
- 37:07Speaker 18: I'm looking forward to, you know, getting back in the
- 37:09Speaker 18: saddle with Aaron. Um, but, Yeah, I'm looking forward to it.
- 37:12Speaker 18: It's been a minute since him and I have worked
- 37:15Speaker 18: together in that aspect of it. I'm trying to give
- 37:21Speaker 18: you a real witty... you know, whatever stays at Chauncey's
- 37:24Speaker 18: type thing here, but I just don't have it today.
- 37:26Speaker 2: I apologize.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Listen, this guy, he's trying to drop Chauncey's. This guy's
- 37:31Speaker 1: everything we, we needed. He's working Chauncey's. I just hope
- 37:35Speaker 1: this guy's a winning coach, man, because he's got a,
- 37:37Speaker 1: he's got the total package.
- 37:39Speaker 2: He's got Pittsburgh on his back.
- 37:41Speaker 1: And seriously, he gets asked a question about Aaron Rodgers.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Like, you know, he'll, you know, I'm trying to think
- 37:48Speaker 2: of something witty here. Back in the saddle.
- 37:50Speaker 18: About like whatever stays, whatever happens at Chauncey's.
- 37:52Speaker 1: It's, Chauncey's, again, for people who don't know, used to
- 37:55Speaker 1: be a club down Station Square.
- 37:56Speaker 2: He was a bouncer. I mean, before our time. Yeah,
- 37:59Speaker 2: he was a bouncer down there. I mean, we were
- 38:01Speaker 2: at the ass end of Chauncey's, I think. We spent
- 38:03Speaker 2: a couple nights in there. Yeah, it wasn't Chauncey. It
- 38:07Speaker 2: wasn't Pete. Mike McCarthy wasn't outside bouncing or anything like that. Yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 2: it wasn't the heyday.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Mike McCarthy, not a bouncer either.
- 38:14Speaker 2: I mean, at Chauncey's he was, but physically, Mike McCarthy,
- 38:17Speaker 2: not a good bouncer. Doesn't like to jump or bounce.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Yeah, bouncing probably not a strong suit either. Steelers Sunday,
- 38:25Speaker 1: home opener. It's going to be fun, man. I want
- 38:28Speaker 1: a nasty win. Hey, we win by more than 10
- 38:32Speaker 1: points or by 10 points or something.
- 38:35Speaker 2: This city's going to be like, all we needed was...
- 38:37Speaker 2: It was McCarthy. Make you feel good.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I already can't wait for Steelers Facebook comments on Monday morning.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Pittsburgh's going to the meow, meow, meow. There we go.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Get our Mikey and Bob podcast if you miss any
- 38:53Speaker 1: of the live show. Brought to us by our friends
- 38:55Speaker 1: at the C. Harper Auto Group. It is Mikey and Bob.

- 39:01Speaker 14: Oh.

- 39:07Speaker 2: Come on. Here we go. I don't know. We're not

- 39:47Speaker 2: I hope it's a sweet song.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I'm going to.
- 39:50Speaker 6: Go Marilyn Monroe on you.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Yes.
- 39:54Speaker 6: Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday,
- 40:07Speaker 6: dear Mikey. Happy birthday to you.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Wow.

- 40:30Speaker 2: Stevie Wonder's got the best birthday song.
- 40:33Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.

- 40:42Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 40:43Speaker 2: I know how Buttons works.
- 40:47Speaker 6: Well, I hope you had a wonderful, wonderful birthday.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:51Speaker 6: And, you know, you're probably not as old as me,
- 40:55Speaker 6: but when you get as old as I am, you
- 40:57Speaker 6: just celebrate your birthday for the whole entire year.
- 41:01Speaker 12: Okay?
- 41:02Speaker 2: Yeah. And you're right, Buttons.
- 41:03Speaker 3: You're right.
- 41:04Speaker 1: You're right.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Every day's a celebration.
- 41:07Speaker 6: Every day's a celebration. And I heard you talking about
- 41:10Speaker 6: somebody sending... Bob some kind of nuts for his truck.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Yeah, truck nuts, yeah. It's a little disturbing, but also hilarious.
- 41:19Speaker 6: Hilarious. But have you ever had chocolate-covered Twinkies?
- 41:24Speaker 2: Chocolate-covered Twinkies? I don't think I have. No, but I
- 41:26Speaker 2: like what you're doing here.
- 41:27Speaker 6: I'm going to try to send you both some chocolate-covered
- 41:31Speaker 6: Twinkies from Patty Cake. in Bloomfield, okay?
- 41:36Speaker 1: Hey, Buttons, so you're telling me I got truck nuts

- 41:43Speaker 6: That's some Twinkies. I don't even know. That sounds like
- 41:47Speaker 6: a good combination.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Buttons, thank you so much for the nice birthday wishes.
- 41:52Speaker 1: I guess for me and Bob. It's good to hear
- 41:55Speaker 1: from you. You have a wonderful day, okay?

- 42:05Speaker 16: All right.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Bye, Bob. Kiss.
- 42:08Speaker 1: It is Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 Kiss. It's
- 42:11Speaker 1: time to get some positivity.

- 42:46Speaker 6: Just has been my.
- 42:47Speaker 5: Constant, and he's kind of brought me back to reality.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Nice.
- 42:50Speaker 5: I just appreciate him more than he knows.
- 42:53Speaker 2: That's nice.
- 42:54Speaker 1: I think you've got to know that as a couple,
- 42:55Speaker 1: you're going to get married. Just remember, your wedding day
- 42:58Speaker 1: is supposed to be one of the happiest days of
- 43:00Speaker 1: your life. yeah don't let anybody tell you what to
- 43:04Speaker 1: do how it's supposed to go it's between you and
- 43:07Speaker 1: him if something goes wrong too just keep keep it
- 43:10Speaker 1: moving nobody else is gonna notice it only you know
- 43:13Speaker 1: yeah you're way overthinking everything.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Yeah i mean you know what else too you know
- 43:17Speaker 2: what else too hello Oh, say something nice. Say something nice. What,

- 43:40Speaker 2: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 43:43Speaker 14: Good morning, Mikey and Big Bob.
- 43:45Speaker 5: Hey. It's Dawn, the meat lady.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Dawn, the meat lady. Dawn, we love Dawn, the meat lady.
- 43:52Speaker 1: She showed up like last month, I think it was,
- 43:55Speaker 1: in the parking lot.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Parking lot meat. Yeah, with meat for Bob. You ever
- 43:59Speaker 2: cook them steaks? Not yet. Are they just in your
- 44:01Speaker 2: freezer or something like that? Hey, they're good. Hey, Steelers
- 44:05Speaker 2: home opener.
- 44:06Speaker 12: Oh, jeez.
- 44:07Speaker 19: Here we go.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Why don't you bust that meat out, huh? Come on.
- 44:11Speaker 2: With my meat out?
- 44:12Speaker 1: Bro, you live close enough for me. I'll smell that meat,
- 44:14Speaker 1: and I'll be like a cartoon. I'll just float right
- 44:18Speaker 1: over your house.
- 44:18Speaker 2: My gosh. Black and gold meat day? Hey, let her
- 44:22Speaker 2: have her message. Oh, okay. Say something nice.
- 44:25Speaker 9: Huh?

- 44:33Speaker 5: I am calling to say something nice.
- 44:36Speaker 14: About my daughter, Riley, and my boyfriend, Dustin, also known
- 44:40Speaker 14: as Dusty Buns.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Dusty Buns.
- 44:42Speaker 14: For making today extremely special. Today is my 40th birthday,
- 44:47Speaker 14: and I've been really depressed about it.
- 44:49Speaker 1: No, no.
- 44:50Speaker 5: But they have found a way to make this day
- 44:52Speaker 5: just perfect.
- 44:53Speaker 14: So thank you to both of them.
- 44:55Speaker 5: You know, the day's just started, and I'm sure I've
- 44:57Speaker 5: got more surprises coming up.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 45:00Speaker 5: But... I also wanted to say happy birthday to Big Bob.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Oh, come on.
- 45:04Speaker 5: Birthday twins.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Birthday twins.
- 45:07Speaker 14: No, no. And Mikey, I know you don't say that
- 45:10Speaker 14: your birthday is.
- 45:11Speaker 2: It's over.
- 45:11Speaker 5: Anymore, but I'd like to think that you and I
- 45:14Speaker 5: are birthday twins too.
- 45:16Speaker 9: Okay.
- 45:16Speaker 2: All right.
- 45:17Speaker 5: So happy birthday.
- 45:18Speaker 2: You know what, Dawn? Happy birthday to you. Yeah. Happy
- 45:21Speaker 2: 40th birthday. Everything's going to be okay. You're very nice.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Birthday twin.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 45:25Speaker 9: Boom.

- 46:18Speaker 1: us by One Team Media. You can send them through
- 46:20Speaker 1: the free iHeartRadio app.
- 46:21Speaker 9: Hello, Pizza Pie and Pepperoni Roll.
- 46:23Speaker 19: It's Colorado Dan calling in. I was just catching up
- 46:26Speaker 19: on the podcast and wanted to let you know my kids...
- 46:29Speaker 19: Thought the story about the fart corner was hilarious.
- 46:32Speaker 17: Oh, yeah.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Last week on the show, you're talking about this. This
- 46:35Speaker 1: teacher went super viral on TikTok because she established for
- 46:39Speaker 1: elementary school kids a fart corner.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Where they were going in the corner, fart and just
- 46:44Speaker 1: go back to class instead of just, you know, farting
- 46:46Speaker 1: in your seat.
- 46:46Speaker 2: You go to the fart corner. I don't know.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Like, I get it, but it seems like that would
- 46:51Speaker 1: disturb the entire class.
- 46:53Speaker 2: All right.
- 46:53Speaker 19: Staying on that same topic. Did you guys know that
- 46:56Speaker 19: there's smart underwear now that can track how much you
- 46:59Speaker 19: fart per day?
- 47:00Speaker 2: Okay. I really hope you.
- 47:01Speaker 19: Guys have some time today to investigate and report back
- 47:04Speaker 19: on air your thoughts on that product.
- 47:07Speaker 13: Thanks, and have a good one.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Listen.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I have eight cats, and I use this litter called
- 47:16Speaker 1: Pretty Litter that's supposed to let you know if one
- 47:20Speaker 1: of your cats is sick or something like that.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 47:24Speaker 1: I don't think I need fart underwear to tell me
- 47:29Speaker 1: what my body's doing.
- 47:30Speaker 2: I don't need a computer down there.
- 47:32Speaker 1: No. Also, because I feel like I can challenge for
- 47:36Speaker 1: whatever the high score is, you know?
- 47:39Speaker 2: If we're keeping score with fart underwear, watch out. Is
- 47:42Speaker 2: this some type of game? It's going to be some
- 47:44Speaker 2: sort of distraction for me.
- 47:46Speaker 1: All right, let's go from fart corner to butt juice.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Remember last week on the show we had Butt Juice Kid.
- 47:52Speaker 1: He's 10 years old. He had a birthday around Labor
- 47:55Speaker 1: Day just like me, and he sent this message.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Hey, Mikey and Bob.
- 47:59Speaker 10: It's Butt Juice Kid. I had a question for you, Mikey.
- 48:02Speaker 10: So my birthday is September 5th, I'll be 10 years old,
- 48:06Speaker 10: and I'm still a Labor Day baby like you. But
- 48:08Speaker 10: doesn't it bug you that all the other holiday babies
- 48:11Speaker 10: get their own day?
- 48:13Speaker 1: Yeah, Butch's kid was upset about it. Let's get to
- 48:15Speaker 1: George here.
- 48:16Speaker 5: Hey, what's going on, fellas?
- 48:17Speaker 17: George here, catching up on Wednesday Morning's podcast. Not for me,
- 48:21Speaker 17: because my birthday is not really anything, it's just June 29th.
- 48:26Speaker 17: But my daughter's birthday is April 16th. Sometimes it's around Easter.
- 48:30Speaker 17: Sometimes it is Easter. Sometimes Easter is in a completely
- 48:33Speaker 17: different month. For her, I stand with you too, butt
- 48:37Speaker 17: juice kid.
- 48:38Speaker 10: Okay.
- 48:38Speaker 2: All right, y'all take it easy.
- 48:39Speaker 1: What are we doing here? Stand with butt juice. I
- 48:43Speaker 1: stand with butt juice.
- 48:44Speaker 2: All right, hold on. Hello, this is Jess.
- 48:46Speaker 8: I have a message for butt juice kid.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Okay, what is going on here? All right, hey. We're
- 48:52Speaker 1: just butt juices like voice messaging service.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Where's the 10-year-old? I want to speak to butt juice.
- 48:57Speaker 8: The other day he was talking about how Labor Day
- 49:00Speaker 8: birthdays are sometimes on a holiday and sometimes not on
- 49:03Speaker 8: a holiday and how it's a ripoff. I'm on the
- 49:07Speaker 8: opposite end of that. I am a December 25th Christmas
- 49:11Speaker 8: Day every single year, baby. And I also want to
- 49:14Speaker 8: say from one winter holiday baby to another, happy birthday.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Bob yeah bob's birthday is uh thank you birthday twin
- 49:23Speaker 1: it is uh new year's day yeah i just i
- 49:26Speaker 1: just really love that we have become the answering service
- 49:28Speaker 1: for a 10 year old that we call hi mike
- 49:31Speaker 1: and bob is butt juice there Hey, guys, great show.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Been listening a long time.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Does butt juice work with you? Oh, happy birthday, Bob.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Is butt juice there?
- 49:42Speaker 1: Hey, we appreciate you listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast,
- 49:48Speaker 1: but it's not just listening to the show. It's seeing
- 49:51Speaker 1: clips of the show, seeing pictures of us in our
- 49:55Speaker 1: daily lives.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Be our friends. Seeing pictures of my cats. That's right.
- 50:01Speaker 2: We're on Instagram, of course.
- 50:02Speaker 1: You can follow us, if you don't already, at FSMikey
- 50:06Speaker 1: for me.
- 50:06Speaker 2: At FSBigBob for me. FS stands for Freak Show. Yeah.

- 50:13Speaker 2: going to do?
- 50:14Speaker 1: Follow us on Instagram, at FSMikey, at FSBigBob, if you

- 50:29Speaker 1: home opener on Sunday. Send us a talkback message through
- 50:33Speaker 1: the free iHeartRadio app. Talkback message is brought to us
- 50:36Speaker 1: by The Pavement Group.
- 50:37Speaker 6: Here we go, Steelers.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Here we go. Here we go.
- 50:42Speaker 5: Steelers, here we go.
- 50:45Speaker 12: Pittsburgh's going to the meow, meow, meow, meow.
- 50:50Speaker 17: Oh, yeah.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Hi, Mikey and Bob.
- 50:51Speaker 14: This is the Hummel family, and we are leaving you
- 50:55Speaker 14: a message to hopefully win tickets to the Steeler game
- 50:59Speaker 14: this Sunday.
- 50:59Speaker 5: Thanks.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Pittsburgh's going to the meow, meow, meow, meow.
- 51:06Speaker 2: There you go.
- 51:07Speaker 1: All right, qualified for Steelers tickets, you just got to
- 51:09Speaker 1: send us a talkback message through the free iHeartRadio app. Now,
- 51:13Speaker 1: it's time to get to our guy. We haven't heard
- 51:16Speaker 1: from him in a while, but with Steelers season upon us, Nate,
- 51:20Speaker 1: the crazy Italian guy, has dressed up in an old
- 51:25Speaker 1: school fighter pilot suit. I guess outfit. He's got goggles
- 51:31Speaker 1: on the, the helmet, the goggles. You remember when like
- 51:35Speaker 1: Snoopy was the fighter pilot and he was riding his, uh,
- 51:38Speaker 1: like the red Baron.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Like the leather helmet and the goggles.
- 51:42Speaker 1: And, uh, he requested that before he come in, give
- 51:46Speaker 1: him the top gun music, ladies and gentlemen, to.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Get us all hype for Sunday and the Steelers.
- 51:56Speaker 1: It is Nate.
- 51:58Speaker 2: The Clean Italian Guy.
- 52:01Speaker 7: Steeler season's happening. That's what's happening. And the Steelers are
- 52:07Speaker 7: going to fly high. We are going to be the
- 52:10Speaker 7: top guns of the NFL. Let me tell you first,
- 52:15Speaker 7: one second, before we get more into this.
- 52:18Speaker 15: Let's go, Buccos.
- 52:20Speaker 7: Give me a winning season, Buccos. You had the talent
- 52:24Speaker 7: for a playoff run, but all I'm asking is, Give
- 52:28Speaker 7: me a winning season, Buccos. I love you, Buccos.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Now, we have a winning season.
- 52:36Speaker 7: And the Steelers are going to have a Super Bowl season.
- 52:41Speaker 7: Nobody will be able to fly with us. We'll be
- 52:44Speaker 7: above everyone else. Mike McCarthy is bringing a new era.
- 52:50Speaker 7: We are offensive-minded. For the first time in the franchise.
- 52:56Speaker 1: The oddsmakers.
- 52:57Speaker 7: I'm going to have to change everything because we're going
- 53:00Speaker 7: to put so many points on the board.
- 53:02Speaker 2: Do you understand? This is a new Steelers, a new era,
- 53:08Speaker 2: a new.
- 53:08Speaker 7: Time, and a seventh Super Bowl.
- 53:11Speaker 2: What we do now will bring a celebration. Early 27.
- 53:16Speaker 7: First, a seventh Super.
- 53:20Speaker 2: Bowl for the Steelers.
- 53:21Speaker 7: And then right after that, a best actor Oscar for talkers.
- 53:27Speaker 7: He's going to win Best Actor, and we are going.
- 53:31Speaker 2: To win the Super Bowl.
- 53:33Speaker 7: Let's go, Steelers!
- 53:40Speaker 1: Some sad news from overnight. If you're a big hockey fan,
- 53:44Speaker 1: you know, watching Penguins games when they've been on ESPN
- 53:47Speaker 1: or just NHL coverage, Barry Melrose, very just huge popular
- 53:53Speaker 1: hockey personality, dead of the ageist.
- 53:55Speaker 2: What, 70?
- 53:55Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Some sad news. Guy had an awesome mullet.
- 53:59Speaker 1: He was like, you know, he played in the NHL.
- 54:02Speaker 1: He coached for a little while, I think, with the
- 54:03Speaker 1: LA Kings. Just one of those hockey personalities that everybody knows.
- 54:07Speaker 1: With us growing up, he was like the face of
- 54:09Speaker 1: the NHL for ESPN. Yeah, Barry Melrose has passed at
- 54:13Speaker 1: the age of 70. It is Mikey and Bob here
- 54:16Speaker 1: on 96.1 KISS. Let's get to some more of your
- 54:17Speaker 1: talkback messages. Just download our free iHeartRadio app. Easiest way
- 54:21Speaker 1: to get in touch with us and the show. And
- 54:24Speaker 1: talkback messages brought to us by The Pavement Group.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Hey, Mikey, Bob, Mark, for me, though.
- 54:28Speaker 9: I was just finishing listening up to the Birthday Batty podcast.
- 54:31Speaker 2: So, of course, I need to call in and wish
- 54:33Speaker 2: Mikey a happy birthday. That's over. Happy birthday, Mikey!
- 54:37Speaker 5: Oh, it's over.
- 54:38Speaker 2: All right, have a good day, guys. That's over, Mark.
- 54:39Speaker 1: I appreciate it, but it's a week ago. My birthday
- 54:42Speaker 1: was a week ago. We are done with my birthday.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Okay, hey, the present came for you yesterday, not me. So, obviously,
- 54:54Speaker 1: I'm not getting birthday presents anymore. What a gift, too.
- 54:57Speaker 1: This story is so funny because a wonderful listener of
- 55:02Speaker 1: the show that we call the Toilet T-Rex, her real
- 55:04Speaker 1: name's Gina, Gina was messaging me on Instagram and said, hey,
- 55:08Speaker 1: there's something coming in the mail.
- 55:10Speaker 2: This was like last week.
- 55:12Speaker 1: And sometimes people will just send us stuff. Sometimes people
- 55:14Speaker 1: will let us know packages coming for you guys to
- 55:16Speaker 1: be on the lookout. So we were on the lookout
- 55:18Speaker 1: for Gina's package. Never came.
- 55:20Speaker 2: She said, okay, it's signed off on everything. It should
- 55:23Speaker 2: be there. Nope, never came. Never saw it.
- 55:26Speaker 1: And I thought, did she send it to our old
- 55:29Speaker 1: station address? Did she send it to the gold DVE
- 55:31Speaker 1: building in Green Tree? Because we're in Bridgeville, Mal. You
- 55:34Speaker 1: send something there, I don't even know where.
- 55:36Speaker 2: It goes, right? Right, right. So we're walking out of
- 55:40Speaker 2: the station yesterday.
- 55:43Speaker 1: And I see a package sitting just in an open area,
- 55:47Speaker 1: just all alone. And sometimes when packages get sent to
- 55:50Speaker 1: our building and nobody knows where they go or who
- 55:53Speaker 1: they're for, they just sort of set them in a
- 55:55Speaker 1: communal area on the first floor.
- 55:57Speaker 2: And then whose package is this?
- 55:58Speaker 1: Yeah, because we're in a building with different businesses, different offices.
- 56:02Speaker 1: If it's not directly addressed to us, that's, I guess,
- 56:05Speaker 1: where it goes, by the front door. So we're walking
- 56:08Speaker 1: out of the station yesterday, and I see a package.
- 56:10Speaker 1: And it just has... Gina's name written on it. And
- 56:13Speaker 1: I stopped and I said, wait a minute. That has
- 56:17Speaker 1: to be the package that she sent, but she addressed
- 56:20Speaker 1: it to herself.
- 56:23Speaker 2: So that's why we didn't get it.
- 56:25Speaker 1: And then I notice that it's already been opened, but
- 56:30Speaker 1: somebody put tape over it to, like, oh, it's not
- 56:34Speaker 1: for me, and closed it back up. I wonder if
- 56:36Speaker 1: there's a Gina that works in another office in our
- 56:38Speaker 1: building someplace.
- 56:39Speaker 2: I hope not.
- 56:40Speaker 1: And, like, Gina got the package. Oh, this must have
- 56:43Speaker 1: been the Gina. And it's just sitting on Gina the
- 56:46Speaker 1: office lady's desk. It was a set of truck nuts
- 56:49Speaker 1: for Bob's Dodge Ram.
- 56:51Speaker 2: I ain't big.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Big blue heavy and you hang them off the back
- 56:56Speaker 1: of your i mean i don't need to explain truck
- 56:58Speaker 1: knots but big and heavy big i mean really heavy
- 57:03Speaker 1: like that's got to be a pound or two right
- 57:05Speaker 1: they were the package was pre-opened and then taped back
- 57:08Speaker 1: up and just like this isn't for me so somebody
- 57:11Speaker 1: opened the package somebody in our building sent to us
- 57:15Speaker 1: opened it up and said whatever that is that's not
- 57:19Speaker 1: for me Maybe multiple people opened it up before they realized, oh,
- 57:24Speaker 1: somebody mailed truck nuts. I'm surprised they didn't just send
- 57:28Speaker 1: it to us. Like, hey, it must be for Mike
- 57:31Speaker 1: and Bob. Whoever got it on one of these floors
- 57:34Speaker 1: in our building, like in other offices, I just imagined
- 57:37Speaker 1: the reaction.
- 57:37Speaker 2: And then... You got to call other people in to
- 57:40Speaker 2: see what they got.
- 57:41Speaker 1: It was probably an entire thing around here. Just people just,
- 57:46Speaker 1: did you see this? Gina's desk.
- 57:48Speaker 2: Hold on. Toilet T-Rex sent us a message here.
- 57:50Speaker 12: Good morning, Mikey and Bob. It's the Toilet T-Rex.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:54Speaker 12: I'm cracking up over.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Opening the package because I'm glad you finally got it.
- 57:58Speaker 2: We did, yeah. But yesterday when I was.
- 58:00Speaker 12: At work and Mikey told me that they got it,
- 58:02Speaker 12: I was like, what if somebody else opened it?
- 58:05Speaker 6: Yep.
- 58:05Speaker 2: And was like, whose f * * * ing sock
- 58:07Speaker 2: is this?
- 58:07Speaker 12: I was telling my co-workers and we were all cracking up.
- 58:11Speaker 12: I love you and have.
- 58:11Speaker 1: A good day.
- 58:12Speaker 12: Bye-bye.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Probably exactly what happened i mean it's probably exactly what
- 58:16Speaker 1: happened i think yes on one of the other floors
- 58:19Speaker 1: somebody took the package up and it was maybe for
- 58:21Speaker 1: their gina and said i don't know you're the only
- 58:23Speaker 1: gina that works in this building opens it up whose
- 58:27Speaker 1: are these thank you toilet t-rex we appreciate.
- 58:31Speaker 7: It thank you 96 one isn't the view spectacular.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Get our Mikey and Bob podcast after the show on
- 58:40Speaker 1: the free iHeartRadio app brought to us by our good
- 58:42Speaker 1: friends over at the C.
- 58:44Speaker 2: Harper Auto Group. Let's get to this talkback message.
- 58:46Speaker 4: Hey, Mikey and Bob, World Cup James. I was catching
- 58:49Speaker 4: up on Wednesday's podcast and... After the part about Bob
- 58:54Speaker 4: talking about his dark web ribbon dancing career, it got
- 59:00Speaker 4: me also thinking about my wife and I were at
- 59:03Speaker 4: a restaurant and I couldn't help but notice there was
- 59:07Speaker 4: a granny that went out and was smoking cigs maybe
- 59:12Speaker 4: every five minutes.
- 59:14Speaker 2: Wow. A real life cig smoking granny.
- 59:19Speaker 4: So it got me thinking about Bob's hyper fixations as
- 59:23Speaker 4: those were both two of the things on the list.
- 59:27Speaker 4: from a few months ago with ribbon dancing and grannies
- 59:31Speaker 4: who bake and grannies who smoke. I think I'm due
- 59:35Speaker 4: with those two things happening in the course of one day.
- 59:38Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 59:39Speaker 1: You got two of Bob's hyper fixations in one day.
- 59:43Speaker 4: For a playthrough of all of Bob's hyper fixations, if
- 59:46Speaker 4: we can find somewhere to squeeze that in.
- 59:47Speaker 2: All right.
- 59:48Speaker 1: I think this started with a Star Wars conversation because
- 59:51Speaker 1: I feel like Star Wars is one of my hyper fixations.
- 59:54Speaker 1: And then I was just saying, hey, hey, Bob, what
- 59:57Speaker 1: are you know, list off some of your hyper fixations.
- 59:59Speaker 2: Needs mustaches, fishing nipples. OK, I'm not sexy, sexy, big people, sexy,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: big men in general.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: None of the answers I was expecting out of you.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: But if you want to call those your hyper fixations, absolutely.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: You've been listening to the show.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Harry guys.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: One of mine is obviously if you've been listening to
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: the show long enough, clowns without pants.
- 1:00:34Speaker 12: This is Autumn in Florida, the wiener dog mom of Vader.
- 1:00:38Speaker 12: I'm a big Star Wars and Marvel fan, so this
- 1:00:41Speaker 12: really is for you, Mikey.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Yeah, Star Wars and Marvel, two of my hyper fixations.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: You got any more, Bob?
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Lunch, ladies.
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: And I was.
- 1:00:50Speaker 12: calling to tell you, well, first of all, we could
- 1:00:52Speaker 12: have lots of garage talks about Marvel and Star Wars.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Yeah, hanging out in my garage, also a hyper fixation
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: of mine, too.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: You got any more, Bob? Ribbon dancing.
- 1:01:01Speaker 12: But also, I was calling because the other day you
- 1:01:05Speaker 12: said that you don't like Vader and you said he
- 1:01:08Speaker 12: kills children.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I love Star Wars.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Darth Vader is a necessary character in Star Wars, but
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: he's not one of my favorite characters because he kills kids.
- 1:01:17Speaker 12: Vader did not do what you accused him of doing.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Anakin Skywalker grows up to be Darth Vader, right? So
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: we're talking about the same person here. What's another one
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: of your hyperfixations, Bob? Grannies who bake and grannies who smoke.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Smoke! Cigarettes! Cig grannies.
- 1:01:38Speaker 12: Only later in the 2000s did we meet Anakin Skywalker
- 1:01:42Speaker 12: in Episode 1.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: By the way, whatever she's talking about with Star Wars,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: it has gone off the rails with Bob's hyperfixations.
- 1:01:50Speaker 12: And it was Episode 3 before he became Vader.
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 1:01:54Speaker 12: So Vader did not execute Order 66.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Okay, that's when the kids get killed. Order 66. Have
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: you been wrong about the... Darth Vader hot take all week? Well,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: kind of because Darth Vader doesn't technically kill the kids.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: It's Anakin Skywalker.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: But Anakin Skywalker is basically turning into Darth Vader when
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: he's killing the kids.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: What's another one of your hyper fixations? Cinnamon bun.
- 1:02:16Speaker 12: It was Anakin. So you don't have to be an
- 1:02:19Speaker 12: Anakin fan because who likes Anakin? But you should be
- 1:02:22Speaker 12: a Vader fan because he makes cool noises.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: Star Wars, one of my hyper fixations. You ever want
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: to talk about Star Wars? I'm your guy. Any more
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: hyper fixations you want to share, Bob? You ever want
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: to talk about koalas with chlamydia? I'm your guy.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Our friend Opal just sent me a message on Instagram.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Jimmy Fallon last night. He's going back and forth with this,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: you know, planted member of his audience. They're doing a
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: whole bit because, of course, the NFL season is here.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: The Seahawks beat the Patriots last night. We got the
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Australia game tonight on Netflix. It's 49ers and Rams. And then,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: of course, Steelers on Sunday taking on the Falcons. So
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Jimmy Fallon's doing this thing where he's got this song
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: going back and forth about NFL logos.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: The Broncos have a Bronco. The Bears have a Bear.
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: The Vikings have.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: A Viking with really long hair.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: The Dolphins have a Dolphin.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: The Lions have a Lion.
- 1:03:16Speaker 15: The Eagles have an Eagle who's ready.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: To start flying. And what about the Steelers?
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:23Speaker 19: It's just like a, you know, hey, let's come back
- 1:03:25Speaker 19: to that.
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: The Ravens have a raven.
- 1:03:28Speaker 9: The Panthers have a panther.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: The Falcons have a falcon.
- 1:03:31Speaker 11: Yep, that's the right answer.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: But what about the Steelers?
- 1:03:34Speaker 19: It's like three pointy things in a circle or something.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Leave me alone. I don't know what their logo is.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: All right, again, this is Jimmy Fallon trying to do
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: the NFL logos.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: A little confused about the Steelers one. It ain't that easy. Sir,
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: calm down. If you had to guess what the Steelers
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: logo was, what would you say?
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: I mean, I'd assume it's three hypocycloids representing coal, ore,
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: and scrap, the three primary components used to make steel.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: That's exactly right. The NFL's back.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: Let's make some noise because the Steelers logo has hypocycloids.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: Explosion there, man. Putting the Steelers on the spotlight on
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: the Tonight Show with Fallon.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: It's pretty funny. They did there. Hypocycloids.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: You see Harry Styles announced his tour dates. I mean,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I'm excited for that, but it.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: 2027? Yeah, we don't get one in Pittsburgh. Closest he's
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: coming is Chicago. Is Toronto closer than Toronto and Chicago? Wow,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: what's closer, Toronto or Chicago? I think Toronto might actually
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: be closer. I would say Chicago's. I don't know.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: He's going to Phoenix, Dallas, L.A. Oh, places with domed stadiums?
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, wow. Do we get one here in Pittsburgh?
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Let's check in with Mr. Rooney. Over my dead body.
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: No Harry Styles for us, Pittsburgh. We don't got a dome. Atlanta, Chicago,
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: and then he's doing a bunch overseas.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Yeah, he made a post yesterday saying, hey, I'm announcing
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: more dates to my tour.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: But then.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: It almost sounded like he was talking retirement or something.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Like he made a post that was like, I'm going
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: to be gone. Oh, he's ending the tour in Wembley
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: over in London.
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: Oh, geez.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: Three back-to-back shows. I mean, that's going to be. If
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: that's where he goes out, that's probably where he'd want
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: to go out, right?
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Well, we'll see now. You know.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: We get a lot of artists that are like, all right, I'm,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I'm done. And then like, all right, five years, four
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: years later, I mean.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Listen, Harry Styles ain't done. We still need a proper wonder. Well,
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: we can never have a proper one direction reunion though. Yeah,
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: that's not going to happen. Dude. Laney Wilson's opening for
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: him on a couple of shows here or overseas here. And, uh,
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: all right. Laney Wilson show actually in Toronto, Toronto, Laney
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Wilson's opening for him. Well, is that closer than Chicago?
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Doc and Harry. Hey. Harry, Doc.
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: Hey.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Hey, Steelers. you're gonna need a dome at some point
