- 0:00Speaker 1: Uh, well, we had a good time on Saturday.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it just turned out better than I
- 0:06Speaker 2: thought it would. I don't know why. I thought it
- 0:08Speaker 2: was going to be kind of boring, but it wasn't.
- 0:13Speaker 2: It was it was like it was like a communal,
- 0:17Speaker 2: genuinely communal experience.
- 0:18Speaker 3: So it was a a pairing of wine and music,
- 0:23Speaker 3: which which is really interesting. And of course Jimmy always
- 0:27Speaker 3: puts on a good, good show. But and we should
- 0:33Speaker 3: probably publish the playlist so people can maybe try it themselves.
- 0:37Speaker 1: When we get the proper playlist.
- 0:38Speaker 4: Yeah, there was a mistake with the playlist that was
- 0:41Speaker 4: at the event.
- 0:42Speaker 3: But actually pairing wine and and Jimmy you know, told
- 0:46Speaker 3: everybody to, you know, take a sip before we play
- 0:49Speaker 3: the song and then as it's playing, see if your
- 0:52Speaker 3: thoughts about it change. I thought it was really interesting.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I actually have the playlist because the actual one or
- 0:59Speaker 2: the mistake one, No, the actual one, because my phone
- 1:05Speaker 2: just picks them, picks them all up and put in
- 1:07Speaker 2: saves them. Yeah, so it's I mean, I can tell
- 1:11Speaker 2: you what do we start with? Grat No Lovely Day,
- 1:14Speaker 2: which you know, I'm not that familiar with that song,
- 1:17Speaker 2: And that was Carrie's Pick by Bill Withers, Holy Mackerel.
- 1:20Speaker 2: That was good. I mean that was just what a
- 1:24Speaker 2: beautiful song and so and then uh, let's see Lovely Day.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Then Gravity by John Mayer, Yeah nope, uhuh still don't
- 1:32Speaker 2: care for John Mair. Uh Sunset Lover by uh So,
- 1:39Speaker 2: I don't know who this is, Peth Biscuit, Petite Biscuit,
- 1:44Speaker 2: Bonnie Air all a Scene and Blackbird Genus pick by
- 1:48Speaker 2: Paul McCartney, Blackbird Skeeny love Boneivere Fast Car. Tracy Chapman
- 1:54Speaker 2: was in there, Bad Guy Billie Eilish.
- 1:57Speaker 3: That sounded great on a really good stereo system.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Then my pick writers on the Storm by the Doors.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I was see.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I was misinformed. I thought this. I didn't know it
- 2:08Speaker 2: was a wine event. I thought we were going to
- 2:11Speaker 2: have a cannabis event and and pair different, you know,
- 2:15Speaker 2: strains of cannabis with the music. And then there was
- 2:18Speaker 2: an Angel by a Massive Attack Neil Young Harvest which
- 2:24Speaker 2: was the wrong song. Actually it's it was sort of
- 2:27Speaker 2: an impromptu edition and I think somebody said play Harvest Moon.
- 2:32Speaker 2: And the name of the album is Harvest Moon, and
- 2:34Speaker 2: there's a song on it called Harvest Moon. But there's
- 2:37Speaker 2: also a song on it called Harvested that I don't know.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And then somehow mister Roboto got on there. John Legends
- 2:49Speaker 2: all of Me Dreams by the Crayonberrys and Everywhere by
- 2:53Speaker 2: Fleetwood Mac was the last thing my phone picked up.
- 2:56Speaker 2: So that's the playlist and different wines for you know,
- 3:00Speaker 2: for not each song, but like every four songs there
- 3:04Speaker 2: was a different wine and and it and it worked.
- 3:07Speaker 5: I thought, super nice people.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Although I'm going to have to redo this at home
- 3:13Speaker 3: because I didn't drink all the wine.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Oh, because I was designated driver for.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Bill so that I could drink all of the wine,
- 3:22Speaker 1: all of it.
- 3:23Speaker 5: So much so that when I went to drop Bill off.
- 3:25Speaker 2: At I said I was going, I was going, where
- 3:29Speaker 2: are my glasses? Oh no, I left my I left
- 3:32Speaker 2: my sunglasses there and Gina said, they're on your face.
- 3:35Speaker 5: Bill, Yeah, not even like on his head, like.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I had them on.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Where are my glasses?
- 3:46Speaker 5: I thought you.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Lost your phone because you were like patting your shirt
- 3:50Speaker 3: and and like, what did you an orange hatch moment there?
- 3:54Speaker 2: No, I I have a new pair of sunglasses and
- 3:58Speaker 2: they're I usually put them in my shirt pocket. The
- 4:03Speaker 2: face they were on my face. So they're I mean,
- 4:06Speaker 2: they're good sunglasses. You don't know, you don't even know
- 4:08Speaker 2: they're there.
- 4:09Speaker 5: Yeah, they're light weight.
- 4:13Speaker 3: But if you like these kinds of events, we're doing
- 4:17Speaker 3: a big one.
- 4:18Speaker 5: We could talk a little bit about.
- 4:19Speaker 4: That's what we're going to talk about it.
- 4:23Speaker 2: It's gonna be. It's a huge thing. It's a huge
- 4:25Speaker 2: deal we're doing. It's ambitious. Shall I say that this
- 4:30Speaker 2: is an ambitious project.
- 4:32Speaker 1: This was given to me while we were there.
- 4:34Speaker 4: A guy who makes his own stickers made me a
- 4:38Speaker 4: bunch Doctor Doom and Ska saves lives and all sentinels
- 4:49Speaker 4: are bastards. Sentinels are X men robots anyway, So there's
- 4:55Speaker 4: that nice. But then there's this this, This is a
- 4:57Speaker 4: great and I think that Johnny Olin needs this.
- 5:00Speaker 2: What is it?
- 5:01Speaker 4: It's a book about you know, in the comic books,
- 5:05Speaker 4: you know, and they had all those stuff.
- 5:07Speaker 1: That you could order in the back.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Yeah, you know it's like like the X race backs
- 5:11Speaker 4: and all that Brian Shrimp.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Well this is he ordered all of them.
- 5:16Speaker 2: It's a book about a guy who ordered.
- 5:17Speaker 1: All and the different you know what he got, how
- 5:22Speaker 1: it was presented, you know, the kind of reviews.
- 5:26Speaker 4: You know, like, you know the Polaris nuclear sub over
- 5:30Speaker 4: seven feet long and it's only six ninety eight.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Well it's cardboard. Yeah, you know, I ordered.
- 5:39Speaker 4: That when I was a kid because I have a
- 5:41Speaker 4: I have a lake in the back of my house.
- 5:43Speaker 4: I need a submarine. And then the one hundred toy soldiers.
- 5:47Speaker 4: You know, what you imagined is a army of soldiers,
- 5:51Speaker 4: and what they send you is a cardboard box hardly
- 5:53Speaker 4: big enough to hold a grenade, containing a pile of
- 5:56Speaker 4: wafer thin warmongers.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You know, So that's that's.
- 5:59Speaker 2: What the soldiers look did anything? So how long ago
- 6:02Speaker 2: did did this guy do this?
- 6:04Speaker 1: It seems recent.
- 6:06Speaker 3: But was there anything that he ordered that he went Actually,
- 6:09Speaker 3: this is pretty cool.
- 6:10Speaker 5: This thing I ordered from the.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Back of a Yeah, there was the spock Ears because
- 6:16Speaker 4: they were only.
- 6:17Speaker 1: A dollar ninety five.
- 6:19Speaker 2: You know what I always wanted Every once in a
- 6:21Speaker 2: while you'd see in a comic book. It was this
- 6:24Speaker 2: machine gun that you could mount on your bike that
- 6:27Speaker 2: would shoot Bebes terrible, Like you'd crank it and it
- 6:31Speaker 2: would shoot Bebes. Now I think I talked to somebody
- 6:34Speaker 2: who've got one once, you know, Senator, it's like four
- 6:37Speaker 2: and you'd turn the crank and the bebes would like
- 6:41Speaker 2: roll out of the barrel.
- 6:45Speaker 1: The bag of laughs. Oh yeah, full of laughs.
- 6:48Speaker 4: It was a little device that you know, when you
- 6:51Speaker 4: pressed it, it had recording of someone laughing.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Oh that was worth it. Yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I read something like that too, where the guy who
- 7:00Speaker 2: ordered one of those monkeys, those teacup monkeys, monkeys and yeah,
- 7:04Speaker 2: and as I recall, it was a sad, sad story.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, that's yeah. Okay, anyway, I'll get that to
- 7:11Speaker 4: Johnny Oola. He can use it for his sponsorships.
