- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Okay, just after six o'clock on this Wednesday morning. Good
- 0:06Speaker 2: morning everybody. It's a great day to be alive. My
- 0:08Speaker 2: kids go back to school today. All all is right
- 0:11Speaker 2: in the world.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Ricky's got those three things dad life. Yeah, snow is
- 0:15Speaker 3: coming to Middle Tennessee on Friday. I'm sure you've already
- 0:18Speaker 3: seen that. Right now, it's looking like we're gonna get
- 0:20Speaker 3: quite a bit of snow. I'm seeing reports that are
- 0:23Speaker 3: saying some areas are looking at two to four inches.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Those areas are the northern areas. Southern areas like Murphysboro
- 0:30Speaker 3: and Columbia are looking at up to six inches and
- 0:33Speaker 3: maybe more. Any S and TVA are preparing for storm
- 0:37Speaker 3: power outages. They're saying all the snowplows are ready to go.
- 0:41Speaker 3: So just make sure that you're prepared for really cold
- 0:44Speaker 3: weather and possibly being stuck inside for our Friday and
- 0:47Speaker 3: in two Saturday, so be prepared for that. Don't over
- 0:50Speaker 3: buy food, don't go crazy, but you know, make sure
- 0:53Speaker 3: you have enough food. Make sure that you have your
- 0:55Speaker 3: house set and ready for the cold temperatures. Congratulations is
- 0:59Speaker 3: an order for Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars their song
- 1:03Speaker 3: Die with a Smile. Kevin loves that song has become
- 1:06Speaker 3: the third song in history to spend one hundred and
- 1:08Speaker 3: three days at number one on global Spotify. Huge deal. Yeah,
- 1:12Speaker 3: we play it a lot here on one oh seven
- 1:14Speaker 3: five The River. My favorite fun fact about this is,
- 1:17Speaker 3: even though Kevin loves this song, his daughter hates it.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Daughter Molly despises the song because dad.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Loves it, always tells our program director tells me to
- 1:28Speaker 2: tell him to stop playing it.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Doesn't.
- 1:30Speaker 3: It doesn't look like we're going to stop playing it
- 1:31Speaker 3: anytime soon. And this is quite possibly the best invention
- 1:35Speaker 3: that has ever been invented in all of life. A
- 1:40Speaker 3: backyard pizza oven that makes pizza in two minutes.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Oh wow, it's this new thing.
- 1:45Speaker 3: It's called Current Backyard Model p Smart Pizza Oven. It's
- 1:49Speaker 3: designed to reach a temperature of eight hundred and fifty
- 1:51Speaker 3: degrees and make you a pizza in two minutes, like
- 1:54Speaker 3: a good, nice pizza that you can get at a restaurant.
- 1:58Speaker 3: It's connected to an app, so it allows you to
- 2:00Speaker 3: customize the cooking time. You can customize the temperature. Things
- 2:03Speaker 3: like that, based on toppings in dough thickness. They're planning
- 2:06Speaker 3: to have it available for purchase before summer, which makes sense.
- 2:09Speaker 3: And it's gonna be priced at five ninety nine, which
- 2:11Speaker 3: really isn't It's not terrible horrible for something that can
- 2:15Speaker 3: make you pizza in two minutes.
- 2:16Speaker 5: A major REPLI yeah, yeah, so be on.
- 2:19Speaker 3: The lookout for that. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are
- 2:21Speaker 3: the three things you need to know.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Thank you, Ricky.
- 2:23Speaker 2: This reference might go nowhere, but they had something similar
- 2:25Speaker 2: and back to the future too. They had like this
- 2:27Speaker 2: tiny little pizza the size of a quarter, and they
- 2:29Speaker 2: put it in this machine and within five seconds it
- 2:31Speaker 2: was a full pizza.
- 2:32Speaker 3: That's pretty sick.
- 2:33Speaker 5: I always thought, you know, the future looks bright, and
- 2:35Speaker 5: here we are. We're getting closer.
- 2:37Speaker 1: One oh seven five of the River. Ricky, Zach and
- 2:39Speaker 1: Mano in the morning.
- 2:40Speaker 5: We like to have fun over here. It's all fun
- 2:43Speaker 5: in games most of the time.
- 2:44Speaker 2: But Ricky and Zach, I need you guys to get
- 2:46Speaker 2: serious with me for just a second, because I truly,
- 2:49Speaker 2: genuinely do need some.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Help with something.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Oh my serious faces on, put.
- 2:52Speaker 5: My serious hat on. I'm writing parenting advice.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I know I'm the old amongst us, I'm the only parent,
- 2:56Speaker 2: but I think it's good to get an outsider's perspective.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Sometimes I'm having a little slight issue with my son
- 3:02Speaker 2: and I need some input because I'm in it all
- 3:04Speaker 2: the time, you know what I mean, I'm in the weeds.
- 3:05Speaker 5: I need your perspective.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I think they got this, Ricky, Okay, you have faith
- 3:10Speaker 3: in us.
- 3:10Speaker 5: I believe in us.
- 3:11Speaker 3: I'm a little scared. I don't know what's gonna come
- 3:13Speaker 3: of this, but yeah, ask us for advice.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Let's play one song Tate McCrae, and then I'll lay
- 3:17Speaker 2: it all out for you and I'll see what.
- 3:18Speaker 5: You guys would do if you were my shoes. Okay,
- 3:21Speaker 5: Parenting advice from Ricky and Zach.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Next on the River, Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning.
- 3:29Speaker 3: I'm really frightened about where this is about to go,
- 3:31Speaker 3: but maybe it'll be good. It's Ricky Zachavano in the
- 3:34Speaker 3: Morning on one of seven five of the River. Kevin
- 3:37Speaker 3: wants parenting advice from Zach and I. We have no kids,
- 3:41Speaker 3: we don't have plans to have kids, nope right now.
- 3:44Speaker 3: So this is gonna be interesting. What do you need
- 3:46Speaker 3: parenting advice about? I know you said you know outside perspectives,
- 3:49Speaker 3: and maybe it will be nice to have two people
- 3:52Speaker 3: who don't have kids.
- 3:53Speaker 5: I will say, give.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Yourself a little credit, Rick, You don't have children of
- 3:56Speaker 2: your own, but you are in here with Zach every day,
- 3:58Speaker 2: so you are that is somewhat prepared.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Such a solid point.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Thank you for that fact.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I think a lot of parents can honestly probably relate
- 4:06Speaker 2: to this right now, coming off of a long holiday break.
- 4:08Speaker 2: But my son Riley is six years old, Like his
- 4:11Speaker 2: iPad obsession is just through the roof, and he's had
- 4:14Speaker 2: it a lot over the last several weeks. Again, they've
- 4:16Speaker 2: been home, we've been traveling on airplanes and waking up
- 4:19Speaker 2: in hotel rooms and said, you know what I mean,
- 4:21Speaker 2: he's just like he's had it.
- 4:22Speaker 3: More than normal.
- 4:23Speaker 2: So now we are having real issues whenever we try
- 4:26Speaker 2: to say, like, okay, Riley, time to put it away,
- 4:28Speaker 2: like that transition is brutal.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Does he get like sad? Does he cry?
- 4:32Speaker 5: He gets?
- 4:33Speaker 2: No, he gets mad, he gets and he's always been
- 4:35Speaker 2: such a sweet kid. And this is like the first
- 4:37Speaker 2: time we've seen like a little bit of like anger
- 4:39Speaker 2: and rage from him is putting away the iPad.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Oh okay, So what is your question, Wow, what should
- 4:45Speaker 5: we do?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Should we keep it away from him for like a week?
- 4:47Speaker 2: That's currently where we are. We are two days into
- 4:49Speaker 2: a week long suspension of the iPad. But I don't
- 4:51Speaker 2: even know if that's the right answer.
- 4:53Speaker 6: But when you take away the iPad, do you give
- 4:54Speaker 6: him something else to play with? Like, hey, buddy, we're
- 4:57Speaker 6: done with the iPod he has it was just Christmas's.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Play with.
- 5:03Speaker 3: We have plenty of stuff to play with, and they
- 5:05Speaker 3: can even play with each other. That was always my
- 5:07Speaker 3: favorite part about having a sibling, like growing up with
- 5:09Speaker 3: a sibling, was that, like when we were quote unquote
- 5:12Speaker 3: in trouble and couldn't play with certain toys or whatever,
- 5:15Speaker 3: we played with each other. Yeah, so we still got
- 5:17Speaker 3: to have fun and do stuff. I you're two days in.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I'm assuming he's already really upset about this because it's
- 5:24Speaker 3: only two days in, correct. I have a feeling that
- 5:26Speaker 3: by day four it's gonna be a lot easier.
- 5:29Speaker 5: I think so too.
- 5:30Speaker 6: It's like ripping off the band aid. At the beginning,
- 5:32Speaker 6: it hurts, but then a couple of days later, like
- 5:34Speaker 6: he's gonna completely forget about it.
- 5:35Speaker 3: As long as he has completely forgetting I completely.
- 5:39Speaker 6: He's gonna feel better as long as he has things
- 5:41Speaker 6: to keep his brain busy.
- 5:42Speaker 2: My hesitation though, is this a consequence even going to
- 5:45Speaker 2: teach him a lesson, Like, well, he gets to the
- 5:47Speaker 2: end of this week and realize like, oh, I better
- 5:49Speaker 2: be better about this or else I'm gonna get it.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I don't know if his young brain can even comprehend that.
- 5:53Speaker 2: And also I'm not, you know, in favor of giving
- 5:56Speaker 2: him his iPad back immediately. But when he's got it,
- 5:58Speaker 2: he's mostly playing Minecraft and that's just like building and
- 6:01Speaker 2: like he's a little coder and a little.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Right, it's like good for his brain in a way.
- 6:05Speaker 3: And social media is yeah, like terrifying things.
- 6:08Speaker 5: I don't know where I stand.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I think that you guys made a decision to do
- 6:12Speaker 3: a week long sticks to the week long because if
- 6:14Speaker 3: you start caving now, you're doomed later.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Would you shave off any time for good behavior? No, No,
- 6:19Speaker 5: he's not in jail.
- 6:21Speaker 3: He feels like definitely feels like that variety.
- 6:25Speaker 6: Also, as soon as like you told him a week
- 6:27Speaker 6: so if you cave early, he's gonna know that you
- 6:29Speaker 6: guys are weak that anything.
- 6:31Speaker 3: You give him to be so not okay, later on.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Our kids already know that we're weak, not a fear
- 6:37Speaker 5: of that.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Sometimes you'd be strong about things that really matter, and
- 6:40Speaker 3: right now this really matters.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Okay, So this is it. We're gonna go out on this. Ricky,
- 6:44Speaker 5: what would you do if you were the parent of
- 6:45Speaker 5: the situation?
- 6:46Speaker 3: Stick to what I initially said, A week long, done deal.
- 6:49Speaker 6: Zack, I say, same, week long, sorry about it, that's
- 6:53Speaker 6: really I'm surprised you're not saying something like lock him in.
- 6:55Speaker 5: The dog's crazy. I'm shocked, and I'm getting a straight
- 6:59Speaker 5: answer from Holy to be serious, and this is serious.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I can be okay behavior right now?
- 7:04Speaker 5: Do I get out early for good behavior?
- 7:07Speaker 3: Here?
- 7:07Speaker 1: To make Nashville traffic just a little less stressful? Ricky,
- 7:11Speaker 1: Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I'm so excited for the Mano household tonight. I'm excited
- 7:18Speaker 3: for us two those Zach same. This does involve everybody
- 7:22Speaker 3: in a weird way. It's one of seven five the
- 7:24Speaker 3: river Ricky Zachamano in the morning. Ali went away and
- 7:28Speaker 3: did something really cool. We vaguely mentioned it and talked
- 7:31Speaker 3: about it on the air, and we weren't really allowed
- 7:33Speaker 3: to say anything. We were sworn to seek re civil
- 7:35Speaker 3: plunk and I and now tonight we get to see
- 7:38Speaker 3: exactly what she got herself into.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah, my wife is on the new season, the third
- 7:43Speaker 2: season of the show Special Forces World's Toughest Test on Fox.
- 7:47Speaker 6: And if you haven't seen it or heard of it,
- 7:49Speaker 6: it literally is the toughest Test. Like I watched some
- 7:52Speaker 6: of the earlier episodes, and it is in tense. It's
- 7:56Speaker 6: like Special Force training for the military.
- 7:58Speaker 2: It's ridiculous, but they have to go through the things
- 8:01Speaker 2: they had to do absolutely insane.
- 8:02Speaker 5: Like Ricky said, she was gone for like a month
- 8:04Speaker 5: earlier this year and we just we couldn't say anything
- 8:06Speaker 5: about it. Now we can, obviously the show is premiering tonight.
- 8:08Speaker 2: But yeah, she trained so crazy hard for like three
- 8:13Speaker 2: months before she left for this thing.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Like twice a day. She was doing insane things like
- 8:17Speaker 3: hiking with weight on her back and going to like
- 8:20Speaker 3: crazy training classes.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and beyond that, she was training all Like we
- 8:24Speaker 2: would go to a restaurant and she'd be doing squats,
- 8:26Speaker 2: you know, like just everywhere we went.
- 8:27Speaker 6: I literally saw a video of her at your son's
- 8:30Speaker 6: t ball game and she was doing squats in the corner.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Exercises.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Yeah, so she went away.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I still can't say, like what she did or you know,
- 8:39Speaker 2: if she made it to the end of the show
- 8:40Speaker 2: anything like that. Obviously, I don't want to give any spoilers.
- 8:42Speaker 2: But tonight on Fox. I think it's seven o'clock here
- 8:45Speaker 2: Central Time, but I don't know. It's a five week
- 8:48Speaker 2: event on Fox. The episodes are two hours long out
- 8:50Speaker 2: of a commitment two hours two hours, So get some popcorn.
- 8:53Speaker 5: But I cannot wait to finally watch this.
- 8:55Speaker 3: You know why I excited.
- 8:56Speaker 6: I'm so excited to watch it because while I was out,
- 8:58Speaker 6: I also watched your wife's entire season of The Bachelor.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Rats.
- 9:02Speaker 5: I know you did, and so now she's back on
- 9:04Speaker 5: my tv TV. You were recovering from your hip surgery,
- 9:08Speaker 5: and I love that you were texting Allie in real
- 9:10Speaker 5: time as you were watching. You were so mad at Frank.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Watch like two episodes with Zach when I want to
- 9:17Speaker 3: go visit him, And at one point I made him
- 9:20Speaker 3: fast forward to the very end because I needed to
- 9:22Speaker 3: see what the end happened, because they kept teasing like
- 9:24Speaker 3: certain things, and I'm like, I need to.
- 9:26Speaker 5: Know what happened. No, here's the mess set part. They
- 9:27Speaker 5: kept teasing that she was still crying.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Crying, and she was like, let me see Allie cry.
- 9:31Speaker 3: I was like, why is she crying? And then we
- 9:34Speaker 3: found out why she was crying. And then I was like,
- 9:36Speaker 3: I'm going to find this man. Yeah, though it doesn't matter, Frank.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I'm gonna find Frank.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Frank's a friend of mine.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Now I'm not allowed to be We told you, I've never.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Gone back and watched her season with the Bachelorette before,
- 9:47Speaker 2: and I don't. It's gonna be hard for me to
- 9:49Speaker 2: watch her jumping off bridges as well. One day she's
- 9:51Speaker 2: got to make a TV show that I'm actually comfortable watch.
- 9:54Speaker 3: But yeah, she'll be like jumping off bridges. She'll be
- 9:56Speaker 3: doing crazy stunts and things that people that are in
- 9:59Speaker 3: the middle tary, and she's gonna try her hand into
- 10:01Speaker 3: that and it's.
- 10:02Speaker 5: So exactly is so much more tough than you see.
- 10:05Speaker 5: Oh my god, tonight, Fox cannot wait to watch in
- 10:08Speaker 5: Brody Alley. If you're out there listening, three things you
- 10:11Speaker 5: need to know.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Just after seven o'clock on this Wednesday morning, Hello friends,
- 10:16Speaker 2: thank you for being here. Ricky's got those three things.
- 10:18Speaker 3: It looks like the Golden Globes already have their host
- 10:21Speaker 3: set for next year, or at least an idea of
- 10:23Speaker 3: who they want to host next year. They really want
- 10:26Speaker 3: Nicky Glazer back, so executive producer Glenn Weiss told Variety quote,
- 10:30Speaker 3: we absolutely had a great experience with her and think
- 10:33Speaker 3: that she would be great at this in the long term.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Uh.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Some people are saying that it was already in her
- 10:38Speaker 3: contract that if everything went well, that she would do
- 10:40Speaker 3: another year, but they they're keeping very hush hush about that. Obviously,
- 10:44Speaker 3: only she and the entire group of people that made
- 10:47Speaker 3: the contract actually know what's in the contract, so we
- 10:49Speaker 3: will see what happens. She was the first woman to
- 10:52Speaker 3: ever host the Golden Globes solo, and she did an
- 10:54Speaker 3: amazing job. I loved her as a host. I think
- 10:58Speaker 3: everybody did. I've not heard a bad thing from anyone
- 11:01Speaker 3: about her hosting, and that's a tough gig. Most people
- 11:05Speaker 3: they don't want to do it. They're like, no, I
- 11:07Speaker 3: want nothing to do with it, because you can't win
- 11:09Speaker 3: or lose. She to win. So we'll see if she
- 11:12Speaker 3: hosts again next year. We'll see if she decides to
- 11:14Speaker 3: do that anytime soon. I'll keep you posted. The Titans
- 11:18Speaker 3: have fired their GM, Ran Carthin. He's been let go
- 11:22Speaker 3: by the team's ownership. He had two seasons with them,
- 11:25Speaker 3: both of which the Titans ended up in the last
- 11:27Speaker 3: spot in the AFC South, which is not great. The Titans,
- 11:31Speaker 3: you have the number one pick in the twenty twenty
- 11:32Speaker 3: five NFL draft. They're on the lookout for someone to
- 11:35Speaker 3: lead the pack on that, so we will see who
- 11:37Speaker 3: they decide is going to be the new GM. We
- 11:41Speaker 3: have lost our minds. People are creating New Year's resolutions
- 11:45Speaker 3: for their pets. Now, this is a new thing. A
- 11:48Speaker 3: survey of pet owners, they found out that forty four
- 11:51Speaker 3: percent of people have created resolutions for themselves and their pets.
- 11:55Speaker 3: This includes exercising more, cutting back on treats, and eating healthy.
- 12:00Speaker 3: I mean, I think it's their own resolution, more.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Of a resolution for the owner, like the dog's not
- 12:04Speaker 2: going to take it upon themselves to exercise more.
- 12:06Speaker 5: That's you know, it's just a resolution for the.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Pet owner, but it's also for the pet.
- 12:10Speaker 5: It's for the for the pet. Okay, ch is insane
- 12:14Speaker 5: when you think about it.
- 12:16Speaker 3: They also want to spend more time outside, take better
- 12:19Speaker 3: care of their health throughout the upcoming year, all crazy things.
- 12:23Speaker 3: It feels insane to say all of this out loud.
- 12:25Speaker 3: That's all I gotta say. I'm Sanchez and those are
- 12:28Speaker 3: the three things you need to know.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I will say my dog own he stees four days
- 12:32Speaker 2: without a cigarette now, so he's on the right press.
- 12:34Speaker 3: So proud of him. He told me that he wanted to.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Work on that. Yeah, yeah, it's going. Well, we're gonna
- 12:39Speaker 5: learn together right as you're Zach's vacs. He's got a
- 12:42Speaker 5: good one on this Wednesday morning. We'll get it next
- 12:43Speaker 5: on the rivers.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Ky, Zach and Menno in the morning, let's quote unquote
- 12:49Speaker 3: learn something. It's Zach's fax on one O seven five
- 12:52Speaker 3: of the river.
- 12:53Speaker 6: Well, I've decided that I'm going back to college, you guys,
- 12:55Speaker 6: because you can major in wine making at Cornell University
- 12:59Speaker 6: in New York.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Cornell.
- 13:01Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like an IVY League school. That's pretty cool.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Major and how to make wine. I know people who
- 13:06Speaker 3: do it in their basement. Confused as to why this
- 13:10Speaker 3: is the thing.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Ricky, would you drink a wine that you knew the
- 13:13Speaker 2: grapes had been stepped on by Zach's bare feet?
- 13:15Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 13:16Speaker 5: You would?
- 13:16Speaker 3: That process that was not a nice.
- 13:19Speaker 5: Thing to say.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I wasn't trying to compliment you all process all of
- 13:23Speaker 3: his toe grossness would be taken out.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Well, that's just rude. But that's your factor of the day.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Zach is wild.
- 13:37Speaker 3: But there's a new survey that shows nearly half of
- 13:40Speaker 3: Americans carry back up underwear with them. Just in case,
- 13:47Speaker 3: it's one of seven five of the river. We want
- 13:49Speaker 3: to know what you can't leave the house without? Is
- 13:52Speaker 3: it underwear?
- 13:53Speaker 7: Sure?
- 13:53Speaker 3: Do you have to have backup underwear? I mean it's
- 13:56Speaker 3: it sounds crazy, but maybe you have a reason for.
- 13:59Speaker 5: That zone around here. No judgment whatever it is.
- 14:02Speaker 3: It's like he's gonna judge a little bit.
- 14:03Speaker 5: I'm not gonna judge. I'm gonna love the thing you
- 14:07Speaker 5: just cannot leave without.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Maybe you've been burned in the past and now you've
- 14:11Speaker 2: learned from your mistakes and you'll never leave the house without.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Blank.
- 14:15Speaker 2: We want to hear what it is six one, five, seven,
- 14:17Speaker 2: three seven, nine one o seven. It doesn't have to
- 14:18Speaker 2: be underwear, but again, if it is.
- 14:21Speaker 8: I need to know.
- 14:22Speaker 5: We won't judge, Yeah, we will. We have to know
- 14:24Speaker 5: what happened six seven, three, seven, nine one oh seven.
- 14:28Speaker 4: What is it for you?
- 14:29Speaker 1: One O seven five the River, Nicky, Zach and Manno
- 14:32Speaker 1: in the morning, Amy in Nashville, tell us what you
- 14:34Speaker 1: cannot leave the house without.
- 14:36Speaker 3: I take a full train to clothes with me every day, okay,
- 14:40Speaker 3: and that includes back up underwear then, because that's what
- 14:43Speaker 3: started this whole conversation. Nearly half of Americans carry back
- 14:46Speaker 3: up underwear everything, including a pair of cues.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Jamie, what did something happen to you at one point
- 14:53Speaker 2: where you needed a fresh wardrobe?
- 14:56Speaker 7: I worked with little kids and I ended up wearing
- 14:58Speaker 7: a couple of cups milk.
- 15:00Speaker 3: One day, okay, all night and at the end of
- 15:04Speaker 3: the day.
- 15:04Speaker 7: That's not a smell you want to smell.
- 15:06Speaker 5: This makes sense for you. I mean, I don't know.
- 15:08Speaker 5: Are you a teacher?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 15:09Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, honestly I get it.
- 15:11Speaker 3: This makes sense.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Amy.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I do not judge you. I'm happy to know that
- 15:15Speaker 3: there are actually people that carry back up underwear and
- 15:18Speaker 3: entire clothes all off it.
- 15:20Speaker 4: I have a little person myself, and I'll always carry
- 15:24Speaker 4: for her a whole change of clothes as well.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Wow, you guys are living like Mariah Carey over there
- 15:28Speaker 2: to steal the multiple wardrobe changes every day.
- 15:31Speaker 7: You just never know, is all I can say.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Yeah, Hey, better to be prepared. Thank you so much
- 15:36Speaker 3: for calling in Amy, have a good day.
- 15:39Speaker 5: We'll say good morning to Mike in Nashville. Buddy, what
- 15:41Speaker 5: is it for you? What do you never leave the
- 15:43Speaker 5: house without?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Uh?
- 15:44Speaker 3: In addition to the underwear of the sock y, so
- 15:47Speaker 3: you do so you have socks and underwear that you
- 15:50Speaker 3: carry with you.
- 15:51Speaker 8: Well, first of all, I'm not gonna die in dirty underwear.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Second of all, I might get sweaty. I've got the
- 15:57Speaker 4: change my song. I do it like three times a day.
- 15:59Speaker 5: One I get the sock thing.
- 16:01Speaker 2: They give me grief around here because I always wear
- 16:03Speaker 2: two pairs of socks.
- 16:05Speaker 5: At all time.
- 16:05Speaker 2: We don't have to go down that road right now.
- 16:07Speaker 2: But yeah, we're all very particular about our feet.
- 16:10Speaker 6: How are your.
- 16:10Speaker 7: Shoes not squishy over two pairs of sock?
- 16:13Speaker 5: What do you mean squishy? Said, I'm going down this road.
- 16:15Speaker 8: That's a lot of bloody feet going on.
- 16:17Speaker 5: No, it helps prevent the sweat. I don't feel the
- 16:20Speaker 5: sweat when there's that extra layer of sock.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Like Mike, I said, I'm.
- 16:24Speaker 5: Not gonna judge you.
- 16:25Speaker 7: What are you doing?
- 16:26Speaker 3: This is a conversation another time. This is a whole
- 16:31Speaker 3: other conversation for another time. But it seems like more
- 16:34Speaker 3: and more people carry back up underwear and other backup
- 16:38Speaker 3: clothes just in case, more than I thought.
- 16:40Speaker 5: My glass question, how often do you need the backup underwear?
- 16:44Speaker 7: Well, it depends on what I'm doing for that day
- 16:47Speaker 7: and where we're going.
- 16:48Speaker 5: So pretty regularly.
- 16:49Speaker 3: You've used them before, he.
- 16:52Speaker 8: Look bloody situations, go for a change.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Okay, I get it, Mike, Thanks for calling. Thought we'd
- 16:59Speaker 2: get through this without judging each other, but that didn't
- 17:01Speaker 2: work out.
- 17:02Speaker 1: We live and we don't judge all the time. Have
- 17:05Speaker 1: a great day, Man one seven Ricky, Zach and Menno
- 17:10Speaker 1: in the morning.
- 17:11Speaker 5: And a carpenter.
- 17:12Speaker 2: It's one of seven five the river saying good morning
- 17:14Speaker 2: to Maggie and Lebanon.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Continuing this conversation. What's the thing you have to have
- 17:19Speaker 5: when you leave the house?
- 17:21Speaker 3: That is always something you should have because you never
- 17:25Speaker 3: know when you're gonna get a hack, or your back's
- 17:27Speaker 3: gonna start to hurt, or you got a kink in
- 17:29Speaker 3: your neck, whatever it might be. Ibuprofen is such a
- 17:32Speaker 3: good idea to carry all the time.
- 17:33Speaker 8: All right, Absolutely, I've got four kids and you never
- 17:37Speaker 8: know when a heck it's oh man.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Four kids.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that sounds like a constant heady every day.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Yeah all right, Maggie, good luck out there, Thank you
- 17:48Speaker 2: for calling, Thanks for listening.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Yees bye bye, I love Ricky.
- 17:52Speaker 5: How old are you the back pain in the neck.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Paine thirty two? Listen back pain from carrying you tube?
- 17:57Speaker 5: Okay?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Wow?
- 18:00Speaker 5: Jamie and Nashville, good morning. What do you always have
- 18:02Speaker 5: with you.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Our little Frenchy Shortcake?
- 18:05Speaker 5: Your dog?
- 18:07Speaker 3: Yes name is Shortcake?
- 18:10Speaker 5: Must say why your little strawberry Shortcake?
- 18:13Speaker 3: But you get to take her everywhere with you?
- 18:15Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 18:16Speaker 4: Well, like she literally goes the work.
- 18:17Speaker 1: We just went to the Chinese birthday the other day.
- 18:19Speaker 2: If she was.
- 18:22Speaker 3: If I went to the Chinese buffet and I saw
- 18:23Speaker 3: this adorable frenchie and you told me that his name
- 18:26Speaker 3: was Shortcake, I would lose my ever loving mind.
- 18:30Speaker 4: I know you probably have to have a piece, right.
- 18:34Speaker 5: Do you take her to work with you?
- 18:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:36Speaker 5: I mean she literally goes everywhere.
- 18:37Speaker 3: I love that. I want to see your dog. Look
- 18:41Speaker 3: any time.

- 23:12Speaker 2: Guys, this feels like something you would do as a
- 23:14Speaker 2: Valentine's State tradition.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Have you ever done it?
- 23:16Speaker 3: I have not because I can't eat it. It's gluten
- 23:19Speaker 3: Oh yeah, thank you for ruining everything. Just eat the patty,
- 23:23Speaker 3: just teeny tiny little patties.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's probably a bad idea, but it does sound
- 23:28Speaker 2: like give me something right up your alley if you
- 23:29Speaker 2: weren't gluten free.
- 23:30Speaker 3: If you do it, please let me know because I
- 23:32Speaker 3: do want to see all the pictures and what it
- 23:34Speaker 3: was like. It is for sure something I would do
- 23:36Speaker 3: if I was not gluten Very Ricky, I'm Rick Sanchez
- 23:39Speaker 3: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
- 23:43Speaker 1: and Meno in the morning.
- 23:46Speaker 3: I talked about this a little bit yesterday and a
- 23:48Speaker 3: lot of people have reached out. My grandma is absolutely ruthless.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Spent a lot of time with her over the Christmas break.
- 23:56Speaker 3: She's ninety years old. She does not care about my
- 23:59Speaker 3: feelings whatsoever. She's savage, and she's so tiny and cute
- 24:03Speaker 3: that you would never think that she would be this
- 24:05Speaker 3: ruthless and savage, but she is.
- 24:07Speaker 5: She attacked your tattoos, right, she show me they.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Were absolutely hideous. They were absolutely hideous. Hundreds of dollars
- 24:13Speaker 3: that I've put into them, hideous tattoos. So I was like,
- 24:16Speaker 3: am I the only one that has grandparents like this?
- 24:18Speaker 3: Because they're both like that.
- 24:20Speaker 5: You got a lot of support.
- 24:21Speaker 2: People were calling yesterday sending me messages, a lot of
- 24:23Speaker 2: sympathy for Ricky on this.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Yeah, because they also experienced the same thing. So if
- 24:27Speaker 3: you happen to have ruthless grandparents, please call us. Six
- 24:30Speaker 3: one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning, Runo Mars.
- 24:39Speaker 5: It's one of seven to five the river.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Over the holiday break, Ricky's grandma was just verbally attacking her,
- 24:45Speaker 2: assaulting her with words.
- 24:46Speaker 5: So now we want to know who else can relate.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Okay, Jennifer do you have grandparents like mine? Are they
- 24:51Speaker 3: just as they get older, sassier and sassier towards you.
- 24:55Speaker 7: My grandmother used to tell me that me and my
- 24:59Speaker 7: aunt both to lose some weight. He said, what's that
- 25:02Speaker 7: hanging over your pants?
- 25:03Speaker 3: There?
- 25:04Speaker 7: Oh, that had no regret in telling me that. She
- 25:07Speaker 7: even told my friend at one of my kid's birthday
- 25:10Speaker 7: parties that she had put on a lot of weight.
- 25:13Speaker 5: And how old is this kid?
- 25:15Speaker 7: Probably three or four?
- 25:16Speaker 5: Wait, she said this about three?
- 25:19Speaker 7: And that no, no, no, she told my friend that
- 25:22Speaker 7: at my kid's birthday party.
- 25:23Speaker 5: Got it okay?
- 25:25Speaker 7: And then back in the day when I used to
- 25:27Speaker 7: get my hair highlighted, I come in and she'd say,
- 25:29Speaker 7: oh lord, you've got your hair streaked up again. I mean,
- 25:32Speaker 7: she just did not care what she said.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Grandmas are ruthless, hard.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Well, let's try to, like just to be devil's advocate
- 25:40Speaker 2: there from a different time.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:43Speaker 3: The only works to a certain degrees. It gets to
- 25:46Speaker 3: a point where you're like, oh my god, why are
- 25:47Speaker 3: you coming at me all the time. Yes, but we
- 25:50Speaker 3: still love them because they're still her grandparents.
- 25:52Speaker 6: I say, we turned this crowd. Say down, Jennifer, you're
- 25:55Speaker 6: beautiful in your own body. You don't need to do
- 25:58Speaker 6: anything to change for anybody. You got assists, got it perfect.
- 26:02Speaker 7: You'll have a great day.
- 26:03Speaker 3: See you too. Okay, Mariah, you have a totally opposite
- 26:08Speaker 3: story that ours. Apparently your grandma's nice to.
- 26:11Speaker 8: You, yes, so like, but she is a ruthless to
- 26:15Speaker 8: the other grandchildren.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Also, you're the so great I yes, like all of them.
- 26:21Speaker 8: Bought, you know, numerous tattoos, and she was just so
- 26:25Speaker 8: upset about it. And then I get a tattoo and
- 26:27Speaker 8: she's like, see you, guys, this is a beautiful tattoo.
- 26:31Speaker 5: Why why are you different in her eyes? What makes
- 26:33Speaker 5: you her favorite?
- 26:34Speaker 8: Oh? I'm the first granddaughter. I've always been the favorite,
- 26:39Speaker 8: the only one that they seed for college for. So
- 26:43Speaker 8: it's like very well known favoritism.
- 26:47Speaker 1: But I love it.
- 26:47Speaker 8: I just gloat in the fact that my grandma.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Everybody loves you, must hate you though.
- 26:52Speaker 8: It's like a love hate right, Like they love me
- 26:55Speaker 8: and their family, but they hate me because I'm stubby
- 26:57Speaker 8: good favorite.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yo.
- 26:58Speaker 6: I would be so upset if, like my sibling got
- 27:01Speaker 6: their college paid for and that was the only sibling
- 27:04Speaker 6: entire family, I would be so upset.
- 27:06Speaker 8: Yes, it is quite funny. It's the joke of the family.
- 27:11Speaker 8: But I'm like, you know, at the end of the day,
- 27:13Speaker 8: you're in her inheritance too, you think they are?
- 27:15Speaker 5: Like, do you guys know that? For sure? I was
- 27:16Speaker 5: gonna ask if you think you're.
- 27:18Speaker 8: The only one that is well, I am the poa,
- 27:21Speaker 8: so I do. I do know?
- 27:23Speaker 3: Okay, that is insane to me because I just don't
- 27:27Speaker 3: even know what it would be like to be the
- 27:29Speaker 3: favorite that I know.
- 27:31Speaker 8: They all just kind of like look around and roll
- 27:33Speaker 8: their eyes and I just puit there and smile.
- 27:36Speaker 3: At least your grandma likes your tattoo and didn't say
- 27:38Speaker 3: it was hideous like my time.
- 27:40Speaker 5: What is your tattoo?
- 27:41Speaker 8: By the way, Mariah, it's a lion, which I'm actually
- 27:44Speaker 8: getting removed this year, so it's kind of ironic.
- 27:46Speaker 5: Is Grandma paying to have it removed?
- 27:49Speaker 8: No, no, no, I'm a big girl. Now came my
- 27:51Speaker 8: own bill.
- 27:53Speaker 3: All right, thank you so much for calling in. We
- 27:55Speaker 3: appreciate you.
- 27:56Speaker 8: Of course. I'm a great day guys too.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Ricky in Meadow in the morning, one.
- 28:03Speaker 3: In Clarksville, tell us about your ruthless grandma.
- 28:06Speaker 4: So growing up, my boy cousin's always had the favorite pism.
- 28:10Speaker 8: She made one of my sister's.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Wait, when I got my lip piers, she looked at
- 28:13Speaker 4: me and she's like, what's that on your face?
- 28:16Speaker 3: I catch hear it in my head. Oh my god.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Fran France. She turned one hundred years this year and
- 28:22Speaker 4: she will not die.
- 28:23Speaker 5: Oh, she will not die. What what are you calling her?
- 28:30Speaker 5: Fran or grand No?
- 28:32Speaker 4: Fran is her name fran?
- 28:33Speaker 3: Oh so you don't even call her grandma. She's just
- 28:35Speaker 3: frand no, I don't.
- 28:36Speaker 4: Yeah, she's Fran and it's Francis. And she insists on
- 28:40Speaker 4: it being spelled the correct way, with an E not
- 28:43Speaker 4: an I. So on my wedding invitations we spelled it incorrectly,
- 28:47Speaker 4: just so that she would like rag on us.
- 28:50Speaker 5: And she did.
- 28:52Speaker 2: See I'm gonna, okay, we're gonna try something here. I
- 28:53Speaker 2: want you to because you know her, I want you
- 28:55Speaker 2: to speak for her. If we were to ask her
- 28:57Speaker 2: what is the secret to long je, what would she say?
- 29:01Speaker 5: Oh?
- 29:02Speaker 4: My god, that's a great question. Just sounds really bad.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Probably hating people. I think that's what fuels her.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Allison, this is hilarious to me, especially because I just
- 29:14Speaker 3: know that grandparents, like people get older and they get
- 29:17Speaker 3: meaner and more sassy and just rude, like my grandparents
- 29:20Speaker 3: are my grandma's. But at least Grandma has some like
- 29:25Speaker 3: endearing qualities where I don't. I don't think she like
- 29:28Speaker 3: hates me. I just think that she dislikes me.
- 29:31Speaker 4: So she's crazy, yeah fuel hate, Yes, yes, totally.
- 29:38Speaker 3: It's gotten her to one hundred.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 29:43Speaker 5: Alison, thank you for calling. We appreciate it.
- 29:45Speaker 7: Thanks, have a great day.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Look Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 29:51Speaker 5: Seven to five the River.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Every day about this time, just before nine o'clock, we
- 29:55Speaker 2: we'd play some audio. We call it the Daily Double Tap.
- 29:57Speaker 2: It's a video that one of us found online today.
- 30:00Speaker 2: It's a Ricky and she calls it the ultimate betrayal, literally.
- 30:03Speaker 3: The ultimate betrayal that a boyfriend can do to his
- 30:07Speaker 3: girlfriend or a husband or significant other. It hurt me
- 30:11Speaker 3: to my core.
- 30:12Speaker 5: I can tell by looking at this, because I was.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Like, if this ever happened to me, I'd have to
- 30:16Speaker 3: I would have to break up with my fiance.
- 30:17Speaker 5: I'm so scared, Like, did they cheat?
- 30:19Speaker 3: Dundee, divorce?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Hear it?
- 30:21Speaker 3: You're gonna you don't understand. Let's ask the audience. Okay,
- 30:25Speaker 3: tell them what you did. So it was a little
- 30:26Speaker 3: after Christmas, dumb, and I figured i'd tell you, seeing
- 30:29Speaker 3: it had passed that I was hanging out with your
- 30:31Speaker 3: dad and he was like, well, I don't really know
- 30:33Speaker 3: what together other than that like dice in hair dryer
- 30:38Speaker 3: wrap thing.
- 30:39Speaker 5: And I was like, she wouldn't use that. When would
- 30:43Speaker 5: you ever use that?
- 30:44Speaker 3: So I told him not to buy it. Okay, So
- 30:46Speaker 3: she wanted this thing in the six hundred dollars of
- 30:51Speaker 3: the dice in hair rat it is top of the
- 30:54Speaker 3: line stuff. I would lose my mind if my fiance
- 30:58Speaker 3: was like, oh no, don't buy her the six hundred dollars.
- 31:01Speaker 6: Gift that she's been dying to A just get her sucks,
- 31:05Speaker 6: I mean, but realistically, though, would you use it if
- 31:08Speaker 6: somebody got you that?
- 31:09Speaker 5: No she wants? I think that's what she's saying.
- 31:12Speaker 3: This is a I don't want the air wrap. I
- 31:13Speaker 3: want the dice in hair dryer, which is still like
- 31:16Speaker 3: four hundred, five hundred dollars. And if my dad bought
- 31:18Speaker 3: it for me or wanted to, and AJ was like,
- 31:21Speaker 3: she'll never use it, I would divorce him. I will
- 31:24Speaker 3: before we even get married.
- 31:25Speaker 6: I'm on the guy side, because I don't think she
- 31:27Speaker 6: would actually use it as often as she says she
- 31:29Speaker 6: would for six hundred dollars like put No.
- 31:32Speaker 5: Why do you guys sound like such a cartoon characters that.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I want to know.
- 31:39Speaker 3: You're telling me that someone who blow drives their hair
- 31:42Speaker 3: every day isn't going to use a hair blow dryer,
- 31:45Speaker 3: a curler. It's a yeah, but it blows out your hair.
- 31:49Speaker 3: It's literally a blowout.
- 31:51Speaker 5: I just feel like she won't use it.
- 31:52Speaker 3: You're insane.
- 31:53Speaker 5: I'm with him.
- 31:53Speaker 3: The man who buys robots that don't do anything you
- 31:56Speaker 3: want to do. Vake dollars quickly, and you suddenly would think,
- 32:01Speaker 3: why are you coming at me?
- 32:03Speaker 5: This was a TikTok video. Okay, go back at him.
- 32:05Speaker 3: I have upset. I'm gonna post it on one of
- 32:07Speaker 3: seven five the River's Instagram account and the stories.
- 32:09Speaker 2: You did not have a safe place if you did
- 32:11Speaker 2: side with the guy that you kind of started this
- 32:14Speaker 2: whole thing by disagreeing with Ricky.
- 32:16Speaker 6: Now we know, never disagree with Ricky.
- 32:17Speaker 5: She'll come for the jugular
- 32:23Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning,
