- 0:08Speaker 1: What's up?
- 0:08Speaker 2: My loves it is La La Kent. Happy hump Day.
- 0:12Speaker 1: With Randal, Happy day period.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I know Rand's feeling a little under the weather, but
- 0:16Speaker 2: I think he can get through this, right, Yeah, I just.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Have a little head cold. I got a tested for
- 0:21Speaker 1: COVID twice, so we know we don't have COVID, so yeah,
- 0:24Speaker 1: it's just a little sinus infection.
- 0:27Speaker 2: That was the first thing I asked when I called him.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I was at the Salt Lake City Airport this morning
- 0:32Speaker 2: and was like, do we have the VID because that's
- 0:37Speaker 2: going to be an issue. I mean, just stay here,
- 0:40Speaker 2: and he said he got tested twice came back negative.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I wouldn't have you come to the house
- 0:45Speaker 1: if I had COVID, but I was on my second
- 0:47Speaker 1: test at that point, so yeah, negative.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Love it. So I went to Utah for a few days.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I got to introduce Ocean to some of my childhood
- 0:57Speaker 2: friends that hadn't met her before. Ocean turned six months
- 1:02Speaker 2: on September fifteenth.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Happy birthday, right baby, I know.
- 1:06Speaker 2: And to Cate, I know. To celebrate her, I went
- 1:10Speaker 2: and got a little tattoo on my hand. My brother
- 1:13Speaker 2: Easton said, you have way too many names and words
- 1:16Speaker 2: on your arms. So instead of getting her name, I
- 1:20Speaker 2: got a little tiny the needle was like a size three.
- 1:24Speaker 2: For anybody who knows tattoos, that's like a very fine needle,
- 1:28Speaker 2: and it's just like a little ocean wave the tribute.
- 1:32Speaker 2: So now I have your name tattooed on me, and
- 1:34Speaker 2: I have a wave for ocean.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I love it. You got the whole fam on there.
- 1:38Speaker 2: I got the whole gang.
- 1:39Speaker 1: It's really really nice. I'm glad you got that. I
- 1:42Speaker 1: think she'll appreciate it when she's old enough to understand
- 1:44Speaker 1: what that is.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I know. I tried to show it to her and
- 1:46Speaker 2: she didn't give me like the googu gaga that I
- 1:48Speaker 2: was hoping for. But then I remembered she's six months
- 1:51Speaker 2: so that reaction hopefully will come.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah. So you were in Utahl. Tell everybody what was
- 1:59Speaker 1: a typical day of Utah.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Like, a typical day in Utah is very chill. There's
- 2:08Speaker 2: so many times.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Different, different than a typical day here in La.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Very different from La. When I got there, I was
- 2:15Speaker 2: driving to my mom's house and I was like, you
- 2:17Speaker 2: know what, there's so many times in the past year
- 2:20Speaker 2: where I'm like I got to move back to Utah,
- 2:22Speaker 2: Like I've talked to you about it. I'm like, what
- 2:24Speaker 2: are the chances that we do fifty to fifty? Like
- 2:27Speaker 2: how can we get out of LA? And then I
- 2:30Speaker 2: get there and I'm like, you know what, I think
- 2:33Speaker 2: I'm good. I think I love it so much, but
- 2:36Speaker 2: visits I'm okay with.
- 2:37Speaker 1: It's like I knew when you would say that shit.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I was like, dude, I just let you rant, because
- 2:42Speaker 1: if you're like an energizer bunny, if I just let
- 2:44Speaker 1: you tire yourself out with your thought, yeah, well you'll
- 2:46Speaker 1: find your place back. But the thing about Utah that's
- 2:50Speaker 1: great is it's an hour and twenty five minute flight,
- 2:52Speaker 1: so you can literally go there on a Tuesday, come
- 2:55Speaker 1: back on Thursday and still have a great Like there's
- 2:57Speaker 1: no exhaustion.
- 2:58Speaker 2: No. I literally we go out to the airport at
- 3:02Speaker 2: six and I landed in LA at eight fifteen.
- 3:06Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, Like, if you went there for
- 3:07Speaker 1: a weekend, you could fly back Monday and be here
- 3:09Speaker 1: for work. So it's like but it's like me, I'm
- 3:12Speaker 1: the same. My love for Florida is the same as
- 3:15Speaker 1: your love for Utah. But I don't need to be
- 3:17Speaker 1: there full time now. I like going there. I like
- 3:20Speaker 1: being in the water. I love Florida. You know how
- 3:22Speaker 1: much I love Florida. But I need to come home
- 3:25Speaker 1: and be in my environment where you know, this is
- 3:28Speaker 1: like where I work, this is where our family is.
- 3:31Speaker 1: So I think we're kind of people that get to
- 3:33Speaker 1: a point sometimes where we're burnt out. We need to
- 3:36Speaker 1: go retreat and then come back and like re energize.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't see either one of us living
- 3:40Speaker 1: ever full time.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Oh swhere, Yeah, no, I agree ocean.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Was your mom broken hearted that you broke her dreams
- 3:47Speaker 1: of going back home the Salt Lake?
- 3:49Speaker 2: You know, I think she would have been if she
- 3:53Speaker 2: wasn't here so much. I think so many people that
- 3:58Speaker 2: I had like leanked up with, how is your mom
- 4:01Speaker 2: like in California? I'm like, she likes it there, Like
- 4:04Speaker 2: she enjoys it. What do you what do you mean?
- 4:06Speaker 2: They're like, so she's loving living in La. I'm like,
- 4:09Speaker 2: my mom doesn't live in Oa. My mom lives the Ark.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I'm staying at her house.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Well, if you add up the room nights at at
- 4:15Speaker 1: Casa Emma La La, she's probably here fifty one percent.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Right, like her doctors are here now. That's why she's
- 4:24Speaker 2: here right now. She had to fly back for a
- 4:25Speaker 2: doctor's appointment.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Your mother, if she'd have a doctor's appointment to see
- 4:28Speaker 1: a hamster in a gardenia, okay, your mother would come
- 4:32Speaker 1: up with something. So it's okay. I'm glad that I
- 4:35Speaker 1: got our good doctor though, because health is is wealth, you.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Know, absolutely, So ocean was amazing on the way there,
- 4:44Speaker 2: and amazing on the flight back. Rockstar, rock star, And
- 4:47Speaker 2: she's never slept better. Rand, that's great and so happy.
- 4:50Speaker 2: I had this like pack and play amazoned to my
- 4:53Speaker 2: mom's house and she slept like a champion. So if
- 4:58Speaker 2: you remember last Christmas, we bought Riley a pack and
- 5:02Speaker 2: play for her dolls. So I'm like, I'm not gonna
- 5:05Speaker 2: buy a new pack and play. I'm gonna use Riley's
- 5:08Speaker 2: for her dolls. I'm literally setting it up in our bedroom.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Okay, you're just robbing the other children's toys.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Well no, no, no, I never would have taken the
- 5:21Speaker 2: pack and play if Riley still played with it. But
- 5:23Speaker 2: now she's in a new She was.
- 5:24Speaker 1: A kid right now. Riley's all weekend we were teaching school.
- 5:29Speaker 1: She was the principal. Then she was the student, then
- 5:32Speaker 1: I was the teacher, and then she got in trouble
- 5:33Speaker 1: because she erased all the math problems I put on
- 5:36Speaker 1: the board, so I had a center to the principal.
- 5:37Speaker 1: So Riley's in. Oh and by the way, Riley went
- 5:40Speaker 1: to gymnastics Sunday with her best friend and now she's
- 5:43Speaker 1: in gymnastic. So yeah, Riley's moved on.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Riley's moved on. But let me say this about Riley.
- 5:48Speaker 2: She's the golden child, like besides Ocean. Because she's my
- 5:51Speaker 2: biological kid, she's obviously my soulmate. But Riley's like my
- 5:55Speaker 2: other soulmate, right, like a golden child. Even if she's
- 5:59Speaker 2: still played with that pack and play. If I asked
- 6:03Speaker 2: her for it, no no, no, no, I wouldn't steal it.
- 6:05Speaker 2: But if I told her I ordered one, she would
- 6:07Speaker 2: have said, you could have used mine, because even like
- 6:11Speaker 2: I'll talk about clothing for ocean, and she'll say, if
- 6:14Speaker 2: you ever need clothes for ocean, you can use some
- 6:16Speaker 2: of my dolls clothes they don't wear.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Them, she'd get but I'll tell you something. You know,
- 6:21Speaker 1: they're both like that now because they both asked about
- 6:23Speaker 1: ocean London my other golden child, asked about Ocean, said,
- 6:28Speaker 1: which they're.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Both golden children. But no, no, but London's in the
- 6:30Speaker 2: phase where she wants nothing to do with either of us.
- 6:33Speaker 1: No, Lundon's already shucked down. Yeah, London's like, LUN's like
- 6:36Speaker 1: she's pledging a solorty right now.
- 6:38Speaker 2: She's like, where's my phone? Where are my best friends?
- 6:41Speaker 1: But I'm gonna wear them all really cute when you
- 6:43Speaker 1: were gone, because you're gone a week and they obviously
- 6:45Speaker 1: know no one you're gone, then they miss you. London
- 6:48Speaker 1: said to me. She was when do you think Ocean's
- 6:50Speaker 1: be back? Do you think I'll see her before I,
- 6:52Speaker 1: you know, leave, And I'm like, oh my god, like
- 6:53Speaker 1: because London had no interest, but for her to ask, right,
- 6:57Speaker 1: it was like out of our wayst It was really
- 6:58Speaker 1: really nice. One last thing about children growing up. I
- 7:03Speaker 1: went to the mall this week, which you got to understand,
- 7:07Speaker 1: you know, because you've been in the mall in your
- 7:08Speaker 1: times with London and Riley in the Ocean. Now, when
- 7:12Speaker 1: London goes to the mall, it's like she's a klingon usually,
- 7:16Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like she doesn't leave my
- 7:17Speaker 1: sock new experience. You haven't experienced this shit, You're gonna
- 7:20Speaker 1: love this. I walk into the mall with her her
- 7:23Speaker 1: best friend. I want to go to the mall whatever.
- 7:25Speaker 1: All of a sudden, I have these flashbacks to when
- 7:27Speaker 1: I was like twelve, and I'm thinking, like, when I
- 7:30Speaker 1: went to the mall, the last thing I want to
- 7:32Speaker 1: do is out with my parents.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Take me there, you go somewhere else and we're going
- 7:36Speaker 2: to like roam.
- 7:36Speaker 1: But I wasn't ready for that, and so it was
- 7:39Speaker 1: like this this emotional moment. But it was like I
- 7:41Speaker 1: got to the mall and I'm like, all right, because
- 7:44Speaker 1: I think I have to entertain them because that's all
- 7:45Speaker 1: I've known. And so I'm like, let's go, and they're like, no, no,
- 7:48Speaker 1: We're gonna go like over here, and I was like, whohah,
- 7:51Speaker 1: whoa wah, Wait a second, is this that moment? Because
- 7:54Speaker 1: you don't nobody gives you the book, but you're good
- 7:57Speaker 1: at that. You always say to me, You're like, babe,
- 8:00Speaker 1: let them be, you know, let her be a preteen
- 8:02Speaker 1: and a letter be.
- 8:03Speaker 2: But I also don't have my own. Now I have
- 8:05Speaker 2: my own children, so it's going to be very different.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Me saying that to you is easy for me to
- 8:08Speaker 2: say because I right, right, So I've experienced my own
- 8:12Speaker 2: children growing up, but.
- 8:13Speaker 1: You as a but you also helped me because you're
- 8:15Speaker 1: a girl and they're girls, and you like kind of well.
- 8:19Speaker 2: My dad did the same thing what you're doing. They
- 8:21Speaker 2: have a dads have a hard time letting their girls
- 8:23Speaker 2: grow up. Art the boy.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Oh so I love you. No. So I went to
- 8:32Speaker 1: the mall. It was just this big moment where like
- 8:34Speaker 1: I walked in the mall and I sat. I walked
- 8:36Speaker 1: up them and said, well, do you guys want to
- 8:38Speaker 1: go to that store over there?
- 8:40Speaker 2: And they're like, they're like, we actually want to ditch
- 8:42Speaker 2: you is what we're really wanting, I swear to you.
- 8:45Speaker 1: After I took them to lunch, I sat on a bench.
- 8:47Speaker 1: A true story by myself. I sat on a bench
- 8:50Speaker 1: in front of Sophora for an hour.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's like, what the fuck? It's so cute though.
- 8:56Speaker 1: It was, it was really nice, and honestly, I would
- 8:58Speaker 1: throw all these emotions and I got to emotional. But
- 9:00Speaker 1: then I was like, you know what, this is so
- 9:02Speaker 1: cool that my oldest child now it could like go
- 9:05Speaker 1: out and because she would come back, you know, because
- 9:07Speaker 1: they have their phones and I know where they are,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and and and she would come back and she'd be like, Okay,
- 9:13Speaker 1: we went, we went to the bookstore. We're going to
- 9:14Speaker 1: go get ice cream now, And I was like, okay,
- 9:16Speaker 1: here's the credit card. By like it's yeah, so weird
- 9:20Speaker 1: because going with Riley.
- 9:21Speaker 2: No, No, she wants to write. So two things with
- 9:25Speaker 2: your story. Number One, you're a fantastic dad. I love
- 9:29Speaker 2: that you took them. I know it feels like, oh
- 9:31Speaker 2: my gosh, she's growing up, but those moments that you're
- 9:33Speaker 2: having with her, she's going to forever be your baby,
- 9:35Speaker 2: because that's how I was with my dad. My dad
- 9:37Speaker 2: would like, take me to the mall, and I'm sure
- 9:39Speaker 2: he was like, I can't believe I'm taking my kid
- 9:41Speaker 2: to the mall and she's off with her friends. But
- 9:43Speaker 2: that makes it so that your daughter. I'm just speaking
- 9:46Speaker 2: from my own experience with my dad, because I see
- 9:48Speaker 2: a lot of my you and my dad and vice versa.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Like you see daddy.
- 9:55Speaker 2: No, like I see because I grew up with an
- 9:57Speaker 2: amazing dad, So I see qualities you.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Haven't used the same quality. People who know you know
- 10:03Speaker 1: that you have such an affinity and love for your father.
- 10:05Speaker 1: That for you to even say that I have any
- 10:07Speaker 1: qualities like it is a complete compliment. So I know that.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Okay, good, I'm glad you know that I'm joking with this.
- 10:12Speaker 2: So DoD Being said, She's gonna always like be your
- 10:16Speaker 2: baby just because you're giving her those moments right. Second
- 10:20Speaker 2: of all, she and her best friend face timed me
- 10:24Speaker 2: about sixty seven times. After them all they did. They
- 10:27Speaker 2: showed me every performance that they had been working on.
- 10:31Speaker 2: They wanted to see ocean every five seconds. They sent
- 10:34Speaker 2: pictures to me about my book. They saw my book
- 10:36Speaker 2: at Barnes and Noble. I was like, oh god, please
- 10:38Speaker 2: don't open it.
- 10:39Speaker 1: They FaceTime me for Barnes and Noble, which I was
- 10:41Speaker 1: about twelve feet away. Yeah, and they showed La LA's
- 10:44Speaker 1: books here and I go close the book and keep
- 10:47Speaker 1: a moving.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my gosh, that's so cool. Move along.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Go to the nice section of the bookstore. And then
- 10:55Speaker 2: they showed me all the clothes that you got for them. Yes, yeah,
- 10:59Speaker 2: like the bell body.
- 11:00Speaker 1: No no, no, I didn't even get though. She went
- 11:02Speaker 1: with her best friend's mother. Oh and they got those.
- 11:07Speaker 2: And then I what a killer day. The weekend of
- 11:10Speaker 2: just shopping and sleepovers, the.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Best time, best time, and you know what, it was
- 11:14Speaker 1: realizing and Riley had her sleepover. So it's like it's like, yeah,
- 11:18Speaker 1: it was really really fun.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Good. Yeah, I'm so glad. It was like a few
- 11:22Speaker 2: days of just like hanging out with kids. Correct, love it,
- 11:26Speaker 2: Love those days.
- 11:27Speaker 1: But I am glad my baby's back though, both my babies,
- 11:29Speaker 1: you and my little baby. When you drove into in
- 11:32Speaker 1: the house, I saw my little baby on it and
- 11:34Speaker 1: she was, you know, in the car seat obviously, and
- 11:36Speaker 1: I was passing you. You roll down the window and
- 11:38Speaker 1: she was like staring out in space, and I go,
- 11:40Speaker 1: I go because I was like, oh shit, did she
- 11:42Speaker 1: forget my voice? I was like ocean and she's like
- 11:44Speaker 1: right up, and I'm like, yeah.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Every time you FaceTime she was reaching for the phone.
- 11:48Speaker 2: She was yeah, because I make sure that, like I
- 11:50Speaker 2: don't FaceTime this way, so she's like looking at a
- 11:53Speaker 2: phone case. I make sure she can see her face.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Oh that's good, I.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Got your back, boo. She knows exactly who you are.
- 12:01Speaker 2: She's been listening to your voice since she was in
- 12:03Speaker 2: the belly, I know.
- 12:04Speaker 1: But you know, you have spent five days you.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Well, it's so funny because when you leave us, you're like, bye, guys,
- 12:12Speaker 2: I'm going out of town. But then when Ocean and
- 12:14Speaker 2: I left you you were a sobbing mess. I was like, yes,
- 12:18Speaker 2: you were.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I did not.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I did not you cried?
- 12:22Speaker 1: I did.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I thought I was sexy. Why do you have to
- 12:24Speaker 2: deny that cried the windstorm? Didn't you see all that
- 12:32Speaker 2: wind and dust in bel air? Right?
- 12:36Speaker 1: I didn't. You know what's funny, I didn't know. It's
- 12:39Speaker 1: not funny, but I just didn't know. It was the
- 12:42Speaker 1: first time my baby, Like when I leave, I know,
- 12:44Speaker 1: my baby's in our house and she's she's provided for
- 12:48Speaker 1: when you're there, and you know, I know, like when
- 12:50Speaker 1: I come back in a day or two, she's gonna
- 12:51Speaker 1: be right where I left.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Right, Randall knows, I don't leave the house when I'm
- 12:54Speaker 2: in LA. It feels much more comfortable with that. No,
- 12:57Speaker 2: it's getting on an airplane not so much.
- 12:59Speaker 1: No, it's not that, it's like I know that when
- 13:01Speaker 1: I get home whenever time, she's going to be there
- 13:02Speaker 1: waiting for me. Right right. So it was like when
- 13:05Speaker 1: you left, it was like the first time you've left
- 13:08Speaker 1: with her baby without me, you know, so it was
- 13:11Speaker 1: like a big deal and then I got like, you know, yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 1: I got really emotional. So it's but you know, okay,
- 13:17Speaker 1: moving on.
- 13:18Speaker 2: It was sweet. So today is going to be a
- 13:20Speaker 2: lot of fun because we have Gigi Goldnessas.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I love her. Oh my gosh, she's so fucking fun.
- 13:27Speaker 1: She is she's the Lalla of Shaws.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Oh my, that's such a compliment.
- 13:33Speaker 1: No, she she actually I think I have to ask her.
- 13:35Speaker 1: But at your beauty party, she came up to me
- 13:37Speaker 1: and I was like, you know, I know who you are.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I've seen you done that. She's like, I'm like the law.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I think she said, I'm like the lot. I said,
- 13:43Speaker 1: you guys, when I watched the show, the similarities of
- 13:47Speaker 1: the two of you, of just being boss women who
- 13:50Speaker 1: just don't put up with shit, you guys have such
- 13:53Speaker 1: like a lot of similar qualities, like in terms of.
- 13:56Speaker 2: You know, I mean, I take that as a compliment.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I think she does as well. I'm really excited to
- 14:01Speaker 2: talk to her. I have not finished this season of Shaws,
- 14:06Speaker 2: but it is fantastic. Rand and I are on episode
- 14:09Speaker 2: like eight.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It's one of my favorite shows. It's been from the jo.
- 14:12Speaker 2: No we love, Shaws of Sunset, anything that Brava puts
- 14:15Speaker 2: onto you, I'm most likely going to watch.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I like that guy Mike. He's fun as fuck, Like
- 14:21Speaker 1: he's just he's like just always he doesn't put up
- 14:24Speaker 1: with shit. He goes off on people, but then he's
- 14:26Speaker 1: also like super sensitive. I like the Reza Oh my god,
- 14:30Speaker 1: all of that. And what's the woman's name who had
- 14:33Speaker 1: the baby? Who you love? Whom him?
- 14:35Speaker 3: Jay?
- 14:36Speaker 2: Well, you know Gigi also has a baby. I think
- 14:39Speaker 2: he's maybe one and a half two years old. Yeah,
- 14:43Speaker 2: and I'm excited to talk to her about that because
- 14:46Speaker 2: she's doing it on her own. I just think she's
- 14:49Speaker 2: she's a badass. She gives me great television to watch,
- 14:53Speaker 2: which anyone who does that for me, I'm like, you
- 14:55Speaker 2: rock my world. So she'll be up next.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Wait, you have a huge, huge, fucking week next week,
- 15:05Speaker 1: because next week after a two year hius, guess what's
- 15:09Speaker 1: coming back?
- 15:11Speaker 2: Vander pump ruh. Give it a good clap, Give it
- 15:14Speaker 2: a good clap, snaps all around.
- 15:17Speaker 1: So you are back. Your cast is back season fucking.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Nine, nine, nine or ten, no season.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I'm so excited for you. So Today's Wednesday. The world
- 15:29Speaker 1: premiere of season nine is Tuesday. I am so excited.
- 15:33Speaker 2: September twenty eighth.
- 15:34Speaker 1: The amount of tea that you're going to be is
- 15:36Speaker 1: it dropping or spilling?
- 15:37Speaker 2: Spilling tea?
- 15:38Speaker 1: The amount of tea that you're gonna spill next Wednesday,
- 15:41Speaker 1: I am clearing the fucking room for you.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Well, now, all the podcasts that we do until the
- 15:46Speaker 2: end of the season, the first segment of every show
- 15:49Speaker 2: is going to be vander Talk obviously.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Not only that, we're going to be doing our mystery
- 15:54Speaker 1: phoner every week and it's going to always be somebody
- 15:57Speaker 1: associated with the show. This is exciting.
- 15:59Speaker 2: It'll be really exciting, it'll be weird, and you know,
- 16:02Speaker 2: people talk about it all the time about okay, are
- 16:05Speaker 2: we going to give it another chance? I hope that
- 16:08Speaker 2: everybody gives it a chance, because even though it looks different,
- 16:13Speaker 2: our lives still are happening, and there's a lot of
- 16:16Speaker 2: stuff that is like pretty intense. And when I watched
- 16:20Speaker 2: the trailer, the teaser, by the way, fantastically done, I
- 16:24Speaker 2: thought it was great. I thought it was so great.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I thought, you guys, because I was around a little bit,
- 16:29Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, they captured a small sample of
- 16:34Speaker 1: what audiences are gonna see. And boy, you guys really
- 16:37Speaker 1: have a lot of dramas well.
- 16:38Speaker 2: That was the thing is when I watched it, I
- 16:39Speaker 2: was like, damn, that was like a really fun trailer.
- 16:42Speaker 2: It was, and they just give you like little tidbits
- 16:45Speaker 2: of what's to come. But I'm telling you, the season
- 16:48Speaker 2: is intense. Like we're not dealing with little petty shit.
- 16:52Speaker 1: No, you guys are pretty uh you guys are You
- 16:55Speaker 1: guys are in it to win it. You guys put
- 16:57Speaker 1: her all out there.
- 16:57Speaker 2: I gotta tell you, I like how you said that
- 16:59Speaker 2: we're in it to win it. Here it's one however
- 17:02Speaker 2: we want to look at it.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I got to tell you. The highlight, besides, of course
- 17:06Speaker 1: seeing you in the trailer, was that was a Jessica
- 17:10Speaker 1: Knsass moment. The highlight is when Arianna falls. Oh my god,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I thought of my chair top. I thought of my chair.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I've watched it that part probably fifty times.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Me too. It's hysterical.
- 17:23Speaker 2: And me and Easton, my little brother, watched it on
- 17:25Speaker 2: repeat when I was in Utah because it's so funny
- 17:28Speaker 2: when she's standing in our kitchen saying that she had it. Yes,
- 17:32Speaker 2: when she says I've had a really positive day and
- 17:34Speaker 2: then it flashes to her just bam. I don't know
- 17:37Speaker 2: if her heel broke. Actually I do know what happened
- 17:39Speaker 2: because I was there. But the funniest is that you
- 17:42Speaker 2: hear someone go oh nods her hair on top of
- 17:48Speaker 2: her head. It's so funny. If you guys don't follow
- 17:51Speaker 2: Ariana on TikTok, she made a video to it.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Oh she did.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yeah. I texted her and I was like, Yo, you
- 17:56Speaker 2: falling is the funniest shit I've ever seen, and she
- 17:58Speaker 2: was like, I feel like it needs me be on
- 17:59Speaker 2: tikto I said, you need to make that right now.
- 18:01Speaker 2: So she made it with a hilarious song, and it
- 18:04Speaker 2: makes my day.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It is.
- 18:05Speaker 2: It makes my day.
- 18:07Speaker 1: All I want to say is we are literally six
- 18:10Speaker 1: days away from the season premiere, Season nine. Everybody tune
- 18:13Speaker 1: in to catch your lava because she is back.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Vander Palm Rules airs Tuesday, September twenty eighth, only on Bravo.
- 18:23Speaker 2: We'll take a quick break and we will be back
- 18:25Speaker 2: with Gigi from shas of Sunset. We are back with
- 18:31Speaker 2: my spirit animal, Gigi.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I'm a spirit animal.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Because that's the Grinch. You're my other besides the Grinch. Yes,
- 18:41Speaker 2: you're my spirit animal.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Hi.
- 18:43Speaker 2: You went from Lochnessa to the voice of reason this season.
- 18:48Speaker 4: I did, And I don't know how I did it
- 18:49Speaker 4: other than just a lot of good weed.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Wow.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Wow, Yeah, a lot of good weed and maybe a kid, okay,
- 18:55Speaker 2: and a child right that may snap you back.
- 18:59Speaker 1: You both have that because you both are you know, intense,
- 19:02Speaker 1: strong opinionated women, and now you're like kind of voice
- 19:06Speaker 1: or reason.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll see how it plays out. We just finished filming.
- 19:09Speaker 2: This is the first season that I've had a kid,
- 19:11Speaker 2: and I liked to think that I'm different this season,
- 19:17Speaker 2: more chill ye huh. But who knows. When you watch yourself,
- 19:20Speaker 2: it's like a mirror. You know, you're like, WHOA, what happened?
- 19:22Speaker 3: I have to be honest.
- 19:24Speaker 4: When when you joined vander Pomp is when no offense
- 19:28Speaker 4: because I you know, I have I don't get certain people.
- 19:31Speaker 2: I don't get offended.
- 19:32Speaker 4: It was it was when you joined is when it
- 19:34Speaker 4: became interesting for me. No, I'm saying no to the
- 19:37Speaker 4: other people.
- 19:38Speaker 2: I was like, that's a cool compliment you could give me.
- 19:42Speaker 3: No, it became a little bit more interesting.
- 19:43Speaker 4: You're a beautiful woman and like you said, you're you're intelligent,
- 19:46Speaker 4: and you have that spicy, you know, opinionated, like I'm
- 19:50Speaker 4: not going to take shit personality, and I identified with that.
- 19:53Speaker 4: So I would love to see how you are as
- 19:55Speaker 4: a mom on the show.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Now, well, I'm excited to also see it, but this season,
- 20:00Speaker 2: because I who knows which way it'll go. We'll find
- 20:03Speaker 2: out on the twenty eight. What was it like filming
- 20:06Speaker 2: this past season, because this was like the first, right you,
- 20:10Speaker 2: you hadn't.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Filmed, and it was the first time with Eli. We
- 20:13Speaker 4: started when he was five months old, and it sucked because,
- 20:16Speaker 4: as you know, COVID made everything a little different, and
- 20:21Speaker 4: you know, having a nurse at my house three times
- 20:23Speaker 4: a week for testing everyone and random people, random.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Would get COVID. It was inevitable.
- 20:28Speaker 4: So it was just interesting and I was not fully
- 20:31Speaker 4: comfortable bringing Elijah out in about too much to scenes.
- 20:36Speaker 4: I was like, Okay, if you guys want to come
- 20:37Speaker 4: every now and then to the house and just get
- 20:39Speaker 4: glimpses of him, no problem. But that was it, and
- 20:42Speaker 4: I just wanted to just do the shots thing with
- 20:45Speaker 4: that outside of my home.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I have to.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Ask you, did you get any backlash? For having a nanny.
- 20:53Speaker 4: Oh my god, you know what, I thought I was
- 20:55Speaker 4: going to get backlash for using a sperm donor.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I was praised for that, but I backlash for.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Being a single woman who happened to get a sperm
- 21:03Speaker 4: donor to have a baby to get help. What you
- 21:06Speaker 4: think I was all of a sudden a sperm donor
- 21:08Speaker 4: came out of the juban had arms in life.
- 21:10Speaker 3: To cradle the baby. No, right, Like what the fuck?
- 21:13Speaker 4: And I have an autoimmune disease, so it was I
- 21:16Speaker 4: get a lot of shit for it. But I think
- 21:18Speaker 4: that the people who give you the most shit, unfortunately,
- 21:22Speaker 4: were the ones who could not afford the help, okay,
- 21:25Speaker 4: and are a little upset that they couldn't afford the help,
- 21:27Speaker 4: And to them it was like, well I did it
- 21:29Speaker 4: on my own, Like okay, but what if you had
- 21:31Speaker 4: the means to not.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Right, like if you had an option?
- 21:33Speaker 3: Right totally.
- 21:34Speaker 1: But also I think that people don't understand that you
- 21:37Speaker 1: guys also work full time. You all have businesses. You're
- 21:40Speaker 1: running companies and building brands, and you know, at the
- 21:43Speaker 1: end of the day. We've had a lot of powerful
- 21:45Speaker 1: women on the show, and they all have said like this,
- 21:49Speaker 1: is part of being able to have a successful brand
- 21:52Speaker 1: for a company, you know. So I think it's like,
- 21:54Speaker 1: I just think the hating in that world is just
- 21:57Speaker 1: so unnecessary on every level.
- 21:59Speaker 2: I didn't realize mom shaming. I had heard that word,
- 22:02Speaker 2: but I didn't think it existed until I had a baby.
- 22:04Speaker 2: And it was like coming left and right at me,
- 22:08Speaker 2: where do you.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Get at the most and which area of a mommyhood
- 22:11Speaker 4: have you gotten the most shaming?
- 22:12Speaker 2: Well, there was a lot about having help, yeah, because
- 22:18Speaker 2: and definitely it's a luxury. I was able because of
- 22:22Speaker 2: my fiance to have a night nurse, so I was
- 22:24Speaker 2: getting a good night.
- 22:25Speaker 5: Safe your Yes, I think most of them and get
- 22:29Speaker 5: you know, postpartum depression because that time frame as a woman,
- 22:34Speaker 5: you need to sleep and heal right, you have to heal, Yes,
- 22:38Speaker 5: you have to.
- 22:39Speaker 3: It is a luxury.
- 22:40Speaker 2: It's definitely a luxury. And you know, fortunately and unfortunately
- 22:45Speaker 2: I have a partner who also couldn't wake up and
- 22:49Speaker 2: do that because he has a full you know, he's
- 22:50Speaker 2: got to be ready to go right the next morning.
- 22:53Speaker 2: So it was just like this battle of people coming
- 22:56Speaker 2: for me for having a lot of help, and I'm like,
- 23:01Speaker 2: am I a shitty mom because I'm like asking, she.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Questioned it every day.
- 23:08Speaker 2: There's a lot of things I didn't shake off. That
- 23:10Speaker 2: was a tough one.
- 23:11Speaker 1: But then you talked to She talked to a therapist
- 23:13Speaker 1: that she also talked to a lot of other women,
- 23:15Speaker 1: and all the other ones were like, listen, you have
- 23:17Speaker 1: to embrace like this is the time to work, Like
- 23:19Speaker 1: this is the fine if you're going to be out there,
- 23:22Speaker 1: because when they're five six, seven four, you know, that's
- 23:25Speaker 1: when they're like, well, where are you going? You know,
- 23:27Speaker 1: why are you leaving the house?
- 23:28Speaker 2: So I think you just yeah, yeah, I'm shaking it off.
- 23:32Speaker 2: But we'll see what happens.
- 23:33Speaker 4: When I'm I'm kind of shocked that you would have
- 23:36Speaker 4: taken that personally because it's I don't know, it's almost like, well,
- 23:41Speaker 4: you're I don't give a fuck what people think about
- 23:43Speaker 4: me personality, and you created this whole miracle on your own.
- 23:46Speaker 4: I'm surprised you would give a fuck what anyone thinks.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I called every name in the book, so I'm you know,
- 23:53Speaker 2: used to all of that, but like the you know,
- 23:56Speaker 2: me becoming a mom, who is you? Territory very you know,
- 23:59Speaker 2: when you're when someone's questioning hormonal RM the hormones, oh
- 24:04Speaker 2: child eyes, Well for you, Well, IVF.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Was the hardest part when I came to my hormones.
- 24:11Speaker 4: Literally and I tell this story a million times, but
- 24:14Speaker 4: it's just just the most relevant. I was, you know,
- 24:17Speaker 4: injecting three times a day of the hormones and all
- 24:20Speaker 4: that stuff. And my mom came over my house one
- 24:22Speaker 4: day and I'm watching Beyonce at Bachella, right and it's
- 24:27Speaker 4: starting up, and my mom comes and sits down and
- 24:29Speaker 4: she goes, oh, is that Beyonce?
- 24:32Speaker 3: I must have ripped her new ass because she didn't
- 24:35Speaker 3: realize that it was Beyonce. Why would she even fucking
- 24:38Speaker 3: ask me?
- 24:40Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 24:41Speaker 3: I mean I almost killed her?
- 24:43Speaker 1: And then every day every.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Day that's crazy. The hormones were nuts, but I am because.
- 24:51Speaker 2: We're women, were already hormonal, and then you're going through
- 24:53Speaker 2: the IVF process where you're pumping yourself even more.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Is this every day you're normal?
- 25:00Speaker 3: It was? It was a lot of hormones for IVF.
- 25:02Speaker 3: It was a lot of harm.
- 25:04Speaker 1: How long did that?
- 25:06Speaker 4: I went through it a couple of times, only because
- 25:09Speaker 4: my first pregnancy was a random fluke and it turned
- 25:14Speaker 4: it topic and ruptured and I lost both my Filippian tubes.
- 25:17Speaker 4: So three months later I was like, I'm I don't
- 25:20Speaker 4: give a fuck. I know I'm going to be a mom,
- 25:21Speaker 4: so let's let's put that embrya back in me. So
- 25:24Speaker 4: I went through to so I had to go through
- 25:26Speaker 4: it again. It was just, you know, it was it
- 25:28Speaker 4: was a lot, a lot. So God bless my white nurse.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Because my God, you deserve it. Yeah, so what was
- 25:36Speaker 2: that process? Like, you, we know that you're very independent,
- 25:40Speaker 2: You're you've spoken about how you're not into just having
- 25:44Speaker 2: one partner. You just feel like you're not built that way.
- 25:48Speaker 3: I'm not I respect it.
- 25:50Speaker 2: So when did you say to yourself, I'm going to
- 25:53Speaker 2: have a baby, but I'm doing it on my own.
- 25:56Speaker 4: I think when I realized that I'm not good in
- 25:59Speaker 4: ren relationships. I think when I realized that it's just
- 26:03Speaker 4: not built for me.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Were you realized, Like when did it start sinking and
- 26:07Speaker 2: like this isn't for me?
- 26:09Speaker 4: I think probably two ex boyfriends ago, maybe my ex
- 26:12Speaker 4: husband and an ex boyfriend ago. I mean, come on,
- 26:17Speaker 4: I was married for six weeks. I literally woke up
- 26:19Speaker 4: and a week seven I was like this is hold on.
- 26:22Speaker 2: You felt trapped so you.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Were married for six weeks. Explain to me when you
- 26:27Speaker 1: go into the marriage, because now I get a better
- 26:29Speaker 1: sense of you. When you go into the marriage, you're
- 26:31Speaker 1: excited about it or weren't excited?
- 26:34Speaker 3: We were together for three months?
- 26:38Speaker 1: No, it wasn't great.
- 26:40Speaker 4: No, No, So I always have I always have that rush,
- 26:45Speaker 4: that adrenaline we all get when we meet someone, the
- 26:47Speaker 4: butterfly infatuation, and then when I conquer the mind, I'm
- 26:54Speaker 4: over it. Yeah, as soon as that word, I think,
- 26:58Speaker 4: I love you like I love you too, baby, I
- 27:04Speaker 4: love you too.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Wait, now, hold on, Has there ever been a man
- 27:09Speaker 1: in your life that has been that much of a
- 27:11Speaker 1: challenge for you that you didn't or that you've conquered
- 27:14Speaker 1: them all? Like they always given? Did they give it?
- 27:18Speaker 2: It's like one of course they're given because she's never
- 27:21Speaker 2: available enough. So that's when they want you the most.
- 27:24Speaker 2: I'm sure every single one is beating your door down
- 27:26Speaker 2: because you're like, I'm not.
- 27:27Speaker 3: I don't believe in marriage. Okay, I never have.
- 27:31Speaker 4: The reason I got married was for I was trying
- 27:34Speaker 4: to help him out.
- 27:34Speaker 3: He was in an issue.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Let's just leave it there, Okay, he.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Was in an issue, needed some help. I got an
- 27:39Speaker 4: amazing six and a half carrot you know stone to
- 27:42Speaker 4: keep me that.
- 27:42Speaker 2: It was gorgeous.
- 27:43Speaker 3: So thank you girl, as you should.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Okay, he took me to you know, literally almost two
- 27:49Speaker 4: years to he was trying to come for me, sue me,
- 27:52Speaker 4: you know, for a divorce. Yes, he wanted to ring back,
- 27:55Speaker 4: and I said, well, I found some information out about you.
- 27:57Speaker 3: So no, no, it's okay, exactly, No, I'm mistake, mistake,
- 28:06Speaker 3: big one.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Okay. So you basically said him straight and he goes
- 28:10Speaker 1: on his way.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:11Speaker 4: So two years of that ship and I'm just realizing,
- 28:14Speaker 4: you know what, I can't keep doing this to men
- 28:17Speaker 4: because it was me.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I let him on into that point.
- 28:20Speaker 4: I got the previous one to that point and then
- 28:23Speaker 4: I just dropped them.
- 28:24Speaker 6: Wow.
- 28:24Speaker 1: So but I give you a lot of respect because
- 28:27Speaker 1: the fact that you know this about yourself is like, listen,
- 28:30Speaker 1: I'm just not in that space. And by the way,
- 28:32Speaker 1: maybe five years from now you'll change. But today and
- 28:34Speaker 1: this is who you are.
- 28:35Speaker 4: It is today, and I've been reading about it once
- 28:37Speaker 4: I started my podcast. I again, you know, we were
- 28:40Speaker 4: just talking about this. I'm trying to keep my podcast
- 28:42Speaker 4: controversial and talk about those things that a lot of
- 28:44Speaker 4: people don't want.
- 28:45Speaker 2: To discuss like that.
- 28:46Speaker 4: And polyamory is something I have been resonating with for
- 28:50Speaker 4: a while now, and I've been reading extensively on it
- 28:52Speaker 4: and trying to understand it, and because of COVID, I
- 28:55Speaker 4: haven't been able to put it to fruition. Yeah right,
- 29:00Speaker 4: I'm trying to find someone and I've met someone just recently.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Oh, and I've laid out the laws.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Hold on, how can you say how you met this person?
- 29:08Speaker 2: Did you get on a nap?
- 29:09Speaker 3: I met him through Resa. I have a great question
- 29:14Speaker 3: for us, ask a baby.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I have a great question. So let's pretend we're that guy.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I what is laying out the law? Because this I
- 29:23Speaker 1: want to you, this is what I want.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I want to answer.
- 29:26Speaker 1: You go to dinner with you, We're at dinner, You're
- 29:30Speaker 1: into me, I'm in the you, and you say this
- 29:33Speaker 1: is the law? What is that? I'm dying here because
- 29:35Speaker 1: this is great.
- 29:36Speaker 4: This is so when I see, when I can see
- 29:38Speaker 4: that the emotions are there for both sides, when I
- 29:41Speaker 4: can see I'm into the person and he's equally into me,
- 29:44Speaker 4: I'm like, Okay, maybe we need to have that conversation
- 29:46Speaker 4: and I'll bring it in.
- 29:47Speaker 3: It'll be like, so.
- 29:52Speaker 1: This is good.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I start with the sow.
- 29:54Speaker 3: I always start with the sow. I always start with
- 29:56Speaker 3: the sew, and then it's the well.
- 29:59Speaker 4: So most of the guys in my life right now
- 30:01Speaker 4: that my best friends, all my guy best friends are
- 30:03Speaker 4: typically my ex boyfriends, and my exes stay in my life.
- 30:08Speaker 4: And the reason they stay in my life is because
- 30:11Speaker 4: I realized, you know this, the relationship wasn't thing, but
- 30:14Speaker 4: the friendships were great.
- 30:15Speaker 3: And that's just sort of what I realized.
- 30:18Speaker 4: I don't really want relationships as far as commitment. I
- 30:21Speaker 4: just want the relationship.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Right, the companionship.
- 30:24Speaker 4: I want the companionship, partnership. I want the homie, the
- 30:27Speaker 4: ride or die, I want the I want that part.
- 30:31Speaker 4: But I'm not into Polly for this sex. And I
- 30:34Speaker 4: think people keep confusing polyamory with polygamy or.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Just not being able to keep it in your parents.
- 30:42Speaker 4: I don't believe in cheating. I don't believe in people
- 30:44Speaker 4: sleeping around. I don't ever want to be with someone
- 30:46Speaker 4: who's just gonna fuck every bitch.
- 30:48Speaker 3: You know that. I don't want my shoehead.
- 30:50Speaker 5: Okay, let's just let's just savage, Okay, so now, how
- 30:57Speaker 5: does he.
- 30:57Speaker 1: React to this? Because you're very, very honest, straightforward, and
- 31:00Speaker 1: that's I think most men want a woman that will
- 31:03Speaker 1: tell him how it is so that they don't get
- 31:05Speaker 1: into something that they maybe thought was one thing. Yeah,
- 31:07Speaker 1: So how does he respond to.
- 31:08Speaker 4: This when he's un fortunate that he's just coming out
- 31:12Speaker 4: of a long, long relationship, so he's on the same
- 31:16Speaker 4: mindset that he's not ready to jump back into anything
- 31:19Speaker 4: right now.
- 31:20Speaker 3: But I also have to bring it up.
- 31:22Speaker 4: I say, I've had these conversations with men before, and
- 31:26Speaker 4: they all promise me that they're not going to turn
- 31:28Speaker 4: into that, but they do, right, and they do because
- 31:31Speaker 4: they see that I don't wither, I don't alter my ways,
- 31:34Speaker 4: I don't have the emotional thing, and they want to
- 31:37Speaker 4: own me.
- 31:37Speaker 3: They get it and they end up getting hooked.
- 31:39Speaker 2: It's like the right challenge.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Men want a challenge.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Okah, you would think when you first present that they're like,
- 31:45Speaker 2: this is awesome.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Tell yeah, They're all that, fuck yeah.
- 31:48Speaker 2: And this is exactly what I've been looking for my
- 31:49Speaker 2: whole night.
- 31:50Speaker 1: It's good.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Men are very needy. Yes, people think that we're's some
- 31:55Speaker 2: meaty No, we're just forwards about what we're looking for Fairly,
- 32:01Speaker 2: Gigi has been forward about what she wants. Dudes aren't
- 32:04Speaker 2: like that. They just like think a different way.
- 32:07Speaker 4: Very simple minded, a productive way of Yes, I think
- 32:10Speaker 4: you guys, you guys know what you want and that's it.
- 32:13Speaker 4: There's no I'm going to play this game, this and
- 32:16Speaker 4: this and this.
- 32:16Speaker 3: You know.
- 32:17Speaker 4: That's why I always try to give my girlfriend's game.
- 32:20Speaker 4: I'm like, you want him, then, you know what, go
- 32:22Speaker 4: get your life over here together. So they're gonna come
- 32:25Speaker 4: after you one when they see you. Don't give a fuck.
- 32:27Speaker 4: I love you for you, you know. And I think
- 32:30Speaker 4: women are relying so much more and more on that
- 32:32Speaker 4: man to make them a whole person or better gay
- 32:34Speaker 4: strait doesn't make a difference just looking for that significant other, right,
- 32:38Speaker 4: And I'm not and I'm very forward that I am
- 32:40Speaker 4: a whole honey. I have my child on my own,
- 32:42Speaker 4: I pay my bills on my own.
- 32:44Speaker 3: I don't need you to add.
- 32:46Speaker 4: You can add to my spirituality, my energy, my happiness.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Yes, my mom always said, you don't want you don't
- 32:52Speaker 2: want to find your other fifty percent. You want to
- 32:54Speaker 2: find your one hundred percent and someone else who has
- 32:57Speaker 2: a hundred So that instead of it being fifty to fifty,
- 33:00Speaker 2: it's a two hundred percent type of thing because you
- 33:03Speaker 2: got to be good with or without a person.
- 33:05Speaker 4: That's why I've never been heartbroken because when I left
- 33:08Speaker 4: a situation, I've always been a whole and I'm abnormally logical,
- 33:12Speaker 4: so I think my logical yeah, heart's really Yeah, it's
- 33:16Speaker 4: a little bit too much when you long I'm November
- 33:19Speaker 4: twenty seventh.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Is that a sad Yeah, Yeah, you're a good one.
- 33:23Speaker 1: That's like very robotic almost. It's like a little likes
- 33:27Speaker 1: so logical to the thing of like analytical. But what
- 33:30Speaker 1: I do like is that you're straightforward. So when somebody
- 33:32Speaker 1: comes into your life, they either they're hearing it. If
- 33:35Speaker 1: they hear it, they have to accept it. If they
- 33:37Speaker 1: don't want to accept it, then that's their own issue.
- 33:39Speaker 1: It's like you've told them. So that's pretty because very
- 33:41Speaker 1: few women, i think, could say that you know that
- 33:45Speaker 1: way and really own it so totally.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Because we're like born into this atmosphere of like what
- 33:51Speaker 2: is right and normal and correctized path we're supposed to follow,
- 33:54Speaker 2: and it's some of us don't want that cookie cutter life, right,
- 33:58Speaker 2: you know, absolutely respect it.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 34:01Speaker 2: So you you decide you're going to have a baby
- 34:04Speaker 2: with or without a dud, and with.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Or without I don't need the dude, I don't need
- 34:08Speaker 3: to do and I did.
- 34:09Speaker 4: It literally shopping for sperm.
- 34:13Speaker 3: You know, it's like if they've got to build a
- 34:14Speaker 3: bear workshop kind of store.
- 34:15Speaker 2: On right. You see the bases. You see the bases,
- 34:18Speaker 2: you can like check out. I've only seen movies. I
- 34:21Speaker 2: think you're the first person that's actually talked about it
- 34:23Speaker 2: really real life.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Yeah, you get in.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I don't understand. So you look at the person and there.
- 34:29Speaker 4: So I hired a company. It's called a donor concierge.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Now there's different ways to go about it. You can
- 34:35Speaker 4: go to your local sperm bank kind of concept or whatever.
- 34:39Speaker 4: The company I hired is like a concierge company. Okay,
- 34:42Speaker 4: they will do a two hour analysis on you see
- 34:46Speaker 4: what you're.
- 34:46Speaker 3: About, what you're looking for, all.
- 34:48Speaker 4: The details, and then they just set it out to
- 34:51Speaker 4: all the banks in the nation and neighboring.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Countries, like like for a match, basically for a match.
- 34:58Speaker 4: It's like it's it's so difficul when you think you're
- 35:01Speaker 4: doing this to create a child. It's not like a
- 35:03Speaker 4: cute like dating site anymore. This is like your genetics
- 35:07Speaker 4: and mind and everything.
- 35:09Speaker 2: I mean everything, Like they state their education and everything.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Like that, everything down to the grandparents, uncles on think.
- 35:17Speaker 4: So what the packet is like this thick it's about
- 35:19Speaker 4: fifty pages deep. And I told them one of my
- 35:22Speaker 4: terms was I have to see photo. I can't take
- 35:25Speaker 4: a one without a photo like I have. That was
- 35:27Speaker 4: one of my Okay, so you.
- 35:29Speaker 2: See some of them not send photos.
- 35:31Speaker 4: I think about eighty to ninety percent of donors don't
- 35:35Speaker 4: really like to leave a photo.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Wow.
- 35:37Speaker 4: Most donors statistically are donating in college because they need
- 35:40Speaker 4: the money. It's like they get like if they have
- 35:43Speaker 4: good sperm, they'll go from like one hundred dollars to
- 35:46Speaker 4: five hundred dollars per.
- 35:51Speaker 1: This is so fascinating. So you get a picture. Do
- 35:56Speaker 1: you meet the person?
- 35:57Speaker 4: No, it's strictly anonymous, so there's a lot of legal aspects.
- 36:00Speaker 3: You don't have to know the guy's name if they
- 36:03Speaker 3: offer it.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Okay, what does the guy look like? What did he
- 36:05Speaker 1: look like?
- 36:07Speaker 4: I can I can show you a picture of what
- 36:08Speaker 4: he looks like. He's very good looking. He's probably a
- 36:12Speaker 4: shade more tan than I am as Tana, is your right?
- 36:18Speaker 2: I love that. Was it important for you to have
- 36:23Speaker 2: your donor be Persian?
- 36:25Speaker 4: I didn't particularly want a Persian person. I wanted someone
- 36:31Speaker 4: with darker skin and darker features because I wanted to
- 36:34Speaker 4: make it as easy as possible from my child that's
- 36:37Speaker 4: going to be a donor child. I wanted to make
- 36:40Speaker 4: it a little bit easier to not be like, you
- 36:42Speaker 4: don't look anything like your mom. Were you sure you're
- 36:45Speaker 4: not adopted? I don't want my child to deal with
- 36:48Speaker 4: all that, because it's going to be enough that they
- 36:49Speaker 4: don't have a dad and Father's Day and all those
- 36:51Speaker 4: kind of yeah.
- 36:54Speaker 3: So I was just like, all right, But I also.
- 36:56Speaker 4: I didn't typically want a Persian person. So I found
- 37:00Speaker 4: this guy.
- 37:01Speaker 3: He's just perfect.
- 37:02Speaker 1: He's taugh, he's.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Charming, he's amazing.
- 37:05Speaker 4: And I have all the genetics to aunts and uncles
- 37:08Speaker 4: and you know, parents are judges and attorneys.
- 37:11Speaker 2: You want to know. I see he gets older, like
- 37:13Speaker 2: the health, what health concerns do I need to be looking?
- 37:15Speaker 2: What allergies should I be looking?
- 37:17Speaker 3: Exactly?
- 37:18Speaker 4: So when I see that, and I match my genetics
- 37:20Speaker 4: to his genetics, and then we see, like is this
- 37:22Speaker 4: going to be a good mixture of chromosomes, genetics, and
- 37:26Speaker 4: then you know, we do the embryos. And then I
- 37:28Speaker 4: waited for ten days after we grew the embryo to
- 37:30Speaker 4: test all my embryos, and I made sure to get
- 37:33Speaker 4: you know, the perfect score embryos to insert right.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Back up, you know, And did you did you care
- 37:41Speaker 2: if it was boy girl? Not?
- 37:43Speaker 3: Really? I wanted the healthiest.
- 37:45Speaker 4: I knew that I wanted a child, and I was
- 37:47Speaker 4: thinking that it's going to be super hard to have
- 37:49Speaker 4: a boy without a male figure to teach him how
- 37:53Speaker 4: to be a man. I was scared of.
- 37:55Speaker 2: That and I could be completely off my rocker. I
- 37:58Speaker 2: feel like it would be more of a challenge to
- 38:00Speaker 2: raise a woman without a father.
- 38:02Speaker 4: That's what everyone told me. That's what everyone said. They're like,
- 38:06Speaker 4: it's going to be harder to have a daughter without
- 38:08Speaker 4: a father. Yeah, you know, the boy will end up
- 38:11Speaker 4: raising you. You're he's going to be your protector, boy Elijah, Elijah, Yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 4: he's almost seventeen months.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Blays all the time. We're always mama's boys, you know.
- 38:20Speaker 4: And great, I feel like I works he's not going
- 38:25Speaker 4: to be a mama's boy.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Literally, like we're at the park the other day.
- 38:27Speaker 4: This person will like looked at me and said something
- 38:29Speaker 4: because he fells on the floor and he goes and
- 38:32Speaker 4: I can tell he's okay, and I look at him.
- 38:34Speaker 3: I go get up, Baker. This guy goes, Wow, you're
- 38:38Speaker 3: a tough one. But I'm like, he's a boy. He
- 38:42Speaker 3: needs to fall, he needs to go through totally. You know.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Let me say something. I think. I think whether you're
- 38:47Speaker 1: I think if your child, whether boy or girl, has
- 38:50Speaker 1: the love that I know you have your child honestly,
- 38:52Speaker 1: and I really mean this. There are a lot of
- 38:54Speaker 1: families that you know, have two parents and they're very broken.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I think when you have love come from one parent
- 39:00Speaker 1: or two parents of any type or sort, they're going
- 39:03Speaker 1: to be.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Just I agree with you, you know, I don't.
- 39:06Speaker 1: I don't worry about you at all.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I think I think that this child is very lucky
- 39:10Speaker 1: to have you.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Thank you. I appreciate this.
- 39:13Speaker 2: So was your was the labor good? Like? What was
- 39:17Speaker 2: your experience doing? I have to know now that I.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Did did you do vaginal?
- 39:21Speaker 1: Oh?
- 39:21Speaker 2: Did you did you? I did too?
- 39:23Speaker 3: I did vaginal. Yeah.
- 39:24Speaker 4: I wanted to do the whole badge experience. I wanted
- 39:27Speaker 4: to as much as I could. I had to induce
- 39:31Speaker 4: early because of my health and my mother condition. Not
- 39:34Speaker 4: too early, like less than a month, less than a month,
- 39:37Speaker 4: but it was my health was getting bad, okay, so
- 39:39Speaker 4: we had to get a mouth putting back on the chemo.
- 39:41Speaker 3: So it was just we came out.
- 39:42Speaker 4: But it was literally the third or fourth week that
- 39:46Speaker 4: the first quarantine hit.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Oh my.
- 39:49Speaker 4: So they were saying, going into birth, you have to
- 39:51Speaker 4: go alone, and then like a week before they changed
- 39:54Speaker 4: it that you can have one person go to your
- 39:55Speaker 4: sister right by. I chose my sister because at that
- 39:58Speaker 4: time they were saying it's an old person ends disease,
- 40:00Speaker 4: and I didn't want my parents to go to the hospital,
- 40:02Speaker 4: like what the fuck would happen? So they induced me
- 40:07Speaker 4: at one am. At eight am, they came in and
- 40:11Speaker 4: they said the baby's going to be coming soon.
- 40:14Speaker 2: So I just got chills.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Yeah, they just began the process. I'm like, Okay, this
- 40:18Speaker 4: isn't too bad. But then I like, you know, closer
- 40:21Speaker 4: to seven pm, I was like.
- 40:24Speaker 2: They're like, what exactly is it coming?
- 40:26Speaker 3: Did you keep getting the bullet?
- 40:28Speaker 2: What is the bullet that sounds?
- 40:29Speaker 4: So you have your epidural and then you, Yes, that
- 40:33Speaker 4: the anesthesiologist comes in and he hits you with a bullet.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Yeah, you can only have it every thirty to forty
- 40:38Speaker 3: five minutes.
- 40:39Speaker 2: And I nothing. No, I enjoyed. Can I tell you
- 40:43Speaker 2: I've never slept better than to.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Earth definite labor while you were in Later they were sleeping.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Yeah. They induced me at eleven am, and I went,
- 40:53Speaker 2: I was like, literally, they came in. They broke my
- 40:57Speaker 2: water at probably ten pm. Oh, they had to break
- 40:59Speaker 2: your while had to break my water. And then they
- 41:01Speaker 2: said we're going to change your your sheets because there's
- 41:04Speaker 2: a lot of water. And I was like, can you
- 41:06Speaker 2: just leave it? I can't fink shit. I'm like tired.
- 41:09Speaker 2: I slept like a baby am she was born. Oh wow,
- 41:14Speaker 2: I was like, this is the best I want to
- 41:16Speaker 2: give every day. Yeah, I know, I got lucky.
- 41:19Speaker 3: You got that.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Not everyone has that eat yet.
- 41:21Speaker 4: No, mine wasn't too bad either. I was just I
- 41:23Speaker 4: didn't sleep too much. I was so excited. My sister
- 41:26Speaker 4: was passed out on like filming my sisters slurring and
- 41:28Speaker 4: sleeping right next to me, and like no, I was
- 41:31Speaker 4: excited to be there and to have a baby and
- 41:33Speaker 4: just the whole concept that was just cool.
- 41:37Speaker 2: And that's why I was so confused why I slept
- 41:39Speaker 2: so well, because I'm like, you're having a baby. You
- 41:41Speaker 2: would think that I wouldn't be able to sleep now
- 41:44Speaker 2: the night after I had her, Like there, she and
- 41:48Speaker 2: I couldn't.
- 41:49Speaker 3: I couldn't sleep.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I didn't want to miss anything, even though she wasn't
- 41:51Speaker 2: doing anything. We're going to take a quick break and
- 41:54Speaker 2: we will be right back. We're back with Gigi gol Meessa.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Gol Meessa. I love thely you say.
- 42:02Speaker 2: You say it's so proper, do what you do a
- 42:04Speaker 2: lot of shut it up well because you've said it
- 42:07Speaker 2: so many times, and I'm like, I like that.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:11Speaker 2: So we spoke about your baby. He's seventeen months. You're
- 42:16Speaker 2: digging it all. He's looking at her face and sometimes
- 42:20Speaker 2: it gets rough. I know, I.
- 42:21Speaker 4: Feel like I feel I don't know what's coming next.
- 42:23Speaker 3: I'm getting nervous for your bout.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Well.
- 42:25Speaker 2: I just wanted to quickly ask, because you have a rottweiler. Yes,
- 42:29Speaker 2: did you get a lot of people talking about that,
- 42:31Speaker 2: like how could you allow a rottweiler around your baby?
- 42:34Speaker 3: Yeah? I get it.
- 42:34Speaker 4: I still get it a lot on social media when
- 42:37Speaker 4: I post pictures of Jajah.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Love that name, by the way, thank you.
- 42:42Speaker 4: She's my little Jajaabor. She's just Eastern European, big and
- 42:46Speaker 4: just sexy.
- 42:46Speaker 2: She's sexy.
- 42:47Speaker 3: She's so sexy. Yeah, she's a Rottweiler.
- 42:50Speaker 4: And I think that society has Pacey's misconceptions on certain dogs,
- 42:55Speaker 4: that they're bad and they're dangerous. But you know, after
- 42:59Speaker 4: so much reason, I'm a research person, I'm a reader.
- 43:01Speaker 2: I'm getting that to read.
- 43:03Speaker 4: So they were rated amongst the top dog for children
- 43:07Speaker 4: and families, So it was a no brainer for me.
- 43:10Speaker 2: I love it. It was my mom. I was telling
- 43:13Speaker 2: you my mom has two pit bulls, and obviously I
- 43:16Speaker 2: don't really I just know, like an animal's an animal.
- 43:20Speaker 2: And if my baby grabs a dog in any way,
- 43:23Speaker 2: you know, like they don't know. So no matter what
- 43:26Speaker 2: the dog, even my dog Lily, who's like a little mutt,
- 43:30Speaker 2: I get nervous just in case. But my mom's pits
- 43:34Speaker 2: could not pitbulls. My mom's my mom's piples could not
- 43:41Speaker 2: get enough of ocean when we were in Utah, I
- 43:44Speaker 2: mean guarding her with all of their I mean, they
- 43:48Speaker 2: like they didn't give a damn about me. It was
- 43:51Speaker 2: all about like how do we make sure that baby
- 43:53Speaker 2: is okay?
- 43:54Speaker 1: It was the.
- 43:54Speaker 4: Sweetest thaiss babies, They really do.
- 43:57Speaker 2: So I love that you have your your son.
- 44:00Speaker 4: I get a lot of shit for it, but I
- 44:01Speaker 4: don't really care. I got her specifically for the child.
- 44:04Speaker 3: You know.
- 44:05Speaker 4: I found a breeder that was just an amazing breeder.
- 44:07Speaker 4: They didn't do in a breeding. They don't believe in
- 44:10Speaker 4: cutting body parts of the dogs off, and so you know,
- 44:14Speaker 4: it's like she came all the way from Pennsylvania. But
- 44:16Speaker 4: I mean she went through great training before I got
- 44:19Speaker 4: her with cats and kids, because.
- 44:21Speaker 2: She's still of this animal, right, she's my ears.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Okay, she's in my ears. She'll tell me she you
- 44:26Speaker 3: know what.
- 44:27Speaker 4: Now she doesn't do it anymore because I think my
- 44:30Speaker 4: son does fake cry so much. But she used to
- 44:33Speaker 4: notify me every time the baby would cry. She would
- 44:36Speaker 4: come over to me and kind of like nudge me
- 44:38Speaker 4: or just like cut the paw up, and it was like, mom,
- 44:41Speaker 4: can you hear him?
- 44:42Speaker 1: Now?
- 44:42Speaker 4: It's like because my son Elijah's always like yeah, randomly,
- 44:46Speaker 4: I think like Josh I just looks so much shut
- 44:48Speaker 4: up kid.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Like you're a shaker totally. So what was I have
- 44:53Speaker 2: to ask you, are you an MJ good?
- 44:55Speaker 4: I mean, it's you know, I think where we left it,
- 44:59Speaker 4: where we left did that the reunion was I would
- 45:03Speaker 4: I would be open to her efforts. Okay, And something
- 45:06Speaker 4: has taken place recently which put all that backwards for me,
- 45:10Speaker 4: which I'm sure season ten.
- 45:14Speaker 2: I love that we're getting season ten. I've been obsessed
- 45:17Speaker 2: with Shaws since you guys started, which I think I
- 45:20Speaker 2: was like still living in Utah at the time, and
- 45:22Speaker 2: I was like, I got to get to La and
- 45:24Speaker 2: I got to be friends with these fabulous persians. Yeah,
- 45:29Speaker 2: you came to give them.
- 45:31Speaker 4: It was amazing for you guy, was it was really nice? Well,
- 45:36Speaker 4: thank you for coming, Resent.
- 45:37Speaker 3: I had a blast, Oh my god. Yeah.
- 45:39Speaker 2: And you guys are still close, Oh my god.
- 45:41Speaker 4: Resident and I are getting closer by the day, especially now
- 45:44Speaker 4: that I just met someone through him.
- 45:45Speaker 3: So it's kind of like, that's cool.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Now you guys all have like a foursome. Yeah.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. The worst moment for
- 45:53Speaker 1: you in all of the history of being on the show,
- 45:55Speaker 1: and the best moment of being on the show that
- 45:58Speaker 1: you can remember.
- 45:59Speaker 4: Worst moment was when I tried to physically attack Reza
- 46:04Speaker 4: and his husband Adam jumped in the way and I
- 46:06Speaker 4: ended up gashing at him very badly.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Wow.
- 46:10Speaker 4: And I love Adam to death like two pieces, and
- 46:13Speaker 4: I ended up hurting him because of my anger for
- 46:16Speaker 4: his husband, and it.
- 46:17Speaker 3: Was it was a big wake up call for me.
- 46:19Speaker 4: I was going through a lot at that time, so
- 46:21Speaker 4: I immediately just checked myself into two different facilities. I did
- 46:25Speaker 4: cognitive behavioral therapy and I did spiritual healing.
- 46:28Speaker 3: So that was my best and worst.
- 46:31Speaker 4: Because it grew me. I needed a moment and I
- 46:34Speaker 4: grew and I came back this new goal Neessa.
- 46:37Speaker 3: That's where Lachanessa died there.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Wow, what season was that, because I remember that was
- 46:41Speaker 2: I think season five or six.
- 46:44Speaker 3: That was what he was saying.
- 46:44Speaker 4: It was lying about having Ara and going through chemo
- 46:47Speaker 4: and all that stuff, and it was just I wasn't
- 46:49Speaker 4: so much physical pain at that time, and I was
- 46:51Speaker 4: drinking heavily and I was taking oxy because the pain
- 46:54Speaker 4: of my ARI was so bad, and I was trying
- 46:57Speaker 4: to deal with the concept that I have to start
- 46:59Speaker 4: chemo now, and it's just the word didn't sit right
- 47:01Speaker 4: with me.
- 47:03Speaker 2: I'm angry about it.
- 47:04Speaker 4: I was going through a lot and then to come
- 47:05Speaker 4: on and have to fight for what I'm going through
- 47:08Speaker 4: on my show.
- 47:08Speaker 3: It was It was tough. It was tough.
- 47:10Speaker 2: That's always That's always been something that has rubbed me
- 47:13Speaker 2: the wrong way because there was also so you went
- 47:16Speaker 2: through that and then Yolanda had deed with her limes disease.
- 47:19Speaker 2: That was question that. It always bothers me when like,
- 47:22Speaker 2: I don't care how entertaining we're trying to make a
- 47:25Speaker 2: show and how real life it is. I don't care
- 47:27Speaker 2: if cameras are on or not. You're not questioning what
- 47:30Speaker 2: I'm going through health wise. If I tell you this
- 47:32Speaker 2: is how I'm feeling, don't question me. So that must
- 47:35Speaker 2: I'm sure you were very angry and at the top
- 47:37Speaker 2: of all of the pain and then trying to like
- 47:39Speaker 2: mask how you're feeling. Probably with the alcohol.
- 47:40Speaker 4: Alcohol, definitely, the alcohol definitely helped the pain, you know,
- 47:44Speaker 4: and helped me have fun because I was in so
- 47:47Speaker 4: much pain I couldn't have fun, right, So, yeah, I
- 47:51Speaker 4: got through that drink.
- 47:53Speaker 2: With the drink. Yeah, mine was more just like mine
- 47:56Speaker 2: was triggered by so many other things I wasn't going through,
- 47:59Speaker 2: was based on that.
- 48:00Speaker 4: My triggers of life and what I grew up with,
- 48:03Speaker 4: you know, and I got clean in two thousand and
- 48:05Speaker 4: five from drugs.
- 48:06Speaker 2: But wow, yeah, that's amazing.
- 48:08Speaker 1: It's a big deal about it.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Yeah, it sated is sixteen years that I quit.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Wow, good for you.
- 48:12Speaker 3: I did one hundred and twenty days and rehab.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Dam.
- 48:16Speaker 4: I did a seven day in the hospital, Detox, Full Hospital,
- 48:19Speaker 4: Broughtman Hospital, and then I did one hundred and twenty dys.
- 48:21Speaker 1: What were you cutting off of? Was it oxy?
- 48:23Speaker 3: I was No.
- 48:24Speaker 4: I was not doing pills at that time. It was
- 48:26Speaker 4: just coke for me.
- 48:27Speaker 2: I was.
- 48:27Speaker 4: I used to snort anything, any anything I could crush,
- 48:30Speaker 4: I would snort it.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Wow.
- 48:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I was big on snorting ecstasy and coke.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Did you stay up for days and days?
- 48:36Speaker 3: No? No.
- 48:37Speaker 4: It got to the point where I was just normal
- 48:39Speaker 4: and if I needed to eat a meal, I'd smoke
- 48:41Speaker 4: a joint and eat and then I'd do.
- 48:42Speaker 3: A couple more lines. Yeah.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Like functioning.
- 48:45Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a functional addict. My ex was a coke dealer,
- 48:48Speaker 4: so I would literally it was a bad situation. It
- 48:51Speaker 4: was a bad We all go through that.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Yeah, she talks about it all the time, drinking.
- 48:55Speaker 2: I do. I think it's important to talk about. And
- 48:57Speaker 2: you know, there's some things that I wrote in my
- 49:00Speaker 2: book where people like it made a very interesting and
- 49:02Speaker 2: funny headline. But the reason I talk about those things
- 49:05Speaker 2: is because, you know, people don't realize how bad things
- 49:10Speaker 2: are when cameras are down, when you're by yourself, no
- 49:13Speaker 2: one's around. So for me, if I could help people
- 49:16Speaker 2: who are who are battling the same thing and they're
- 49:18Speaker 2: watching our lives from the outside thinking that it looks clamorous,
- 49:22Speaker 2: it looks glamorous, let me tell you what it's really like,
- 49:25Speaker 2: right when everything when everyone goes to bed, right, So,
- 49:28Speaker 2: I'm very proud of you. That's amazing. I wasn't aware
- 49:30Speaker 2: that you did that.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 49:32Speaker 4: I'm proud of you too, girl, Well, thank you. I
- 49:35Speaker 4: never read about it. The one time I think I
- 49:38Speaker 4: talked about it, I got shut down so fast because
- 49:40Speaker 4: everyone was like, how can you say you got over
- 49:43Speaker 4: using drugs if you drink alcohol. I was like, well,
- 49:46Speaker 4: a lot of very different addictions that I had, But
- 49:48Speaker 4: you know, I get it, I get it.
- 49:50Speaker 3: I totally get it.
- 49:51Speaker 1: But now if the drugs were, you know, the thing
- 49:54Speaker 1: that brought you down, then you stop using drugs. And
- 49:57Speaker 1: you know sometimes alcohol. I know that most added you know,
- 50:00Speaker 1: recovers say you got to stop everything, but you know
- 50:03Speaker 1: it was you.
- 50:03Speaker 4: Do the book Book, The Big Book definitely says that
- 50:06Speaker 4: to stop everything, you know, because you don't want to
- 50:09Speaker 4: pick up on other tendencies. But I started using at
- 50:11Speaker 4: the age of eleven woow.
- 50:13Speaker 2: And you were born and raised in Los Angeles.
- 50:16Speaker 4: Eleven years I smoked my I took my first boon
- 50:19Speaker 4: whip when I was eleven and a half year.
- 50:20Speaker 1: When did you for the first time? When did you
- 50:22Speaker 1: coke for the When did you start doing the snorting?
- 50:25Speaker 3: Snorting? Was like fourteen fifteen?
- 50:27Speaker 2: Well, I was like coming off.
- 50:28Speaker 4: I was snorting wide out when I was thirteen. I'd
- 50:31Speaker 4: be in school thinking it's cool to I would drive
- 50:33Speaker 4: the white out and I would like snort it up
- 50:35Speaker 4: in class and I would think it I was I
- 50:37Speaker 4: needed help. When I was asking, you were every where
- 50:40Speaker 4: I could and no one was hearing it.
- 50:42Speaker 1: What school did you go to here?
- 50:43Speaker 3: I got kicked out of.
- 50:44Speaker 4: Ten schools, so holy shit, Okay, every back in school
- 50:50Speaker 4: in LA except where the Persians went.
- 50:52Speaker 7: I never fucking went to the book where the versions
- 50:54Speaker 7: go Beverly, of course, I grew up in alas Verdi,
- 51:00Speaker 7: so I was like, I went to different schools everywhere.
- 51:03Speaker 2: But you know, I have to say, what an inspiration
- 51:05Speaker 2: to hear you know, you talk about how you started
- 51:09Speaker 2: smoking weed at eleven sporting at you know fifteen, kicked
- 51:12Speaker 2: out of ten schools, to being this, like obviously you're
- 51:16Speaker 2: very beautiful on the outside, but to like really just
- 51:20Speaker 2: embodying what a beautiful human is, going out and having
- 51:22Speaker 2: a baby on your own, just being a badass bitch. Like,
- 51:25Speaker 2: I'm so proud of you.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 51:26Speaker 2: That really is amazing and an inspiration to a lot
- 51:29Speaker 2: of people. So thank you for opening up about that.
- 51:31Speaker 1: What are the other things that you work on the
- 51:32Speaker 1: outside of the show, Just I'm curious.
- 51:34Speaker 4: WUSA WUSA definitely my cannabis brand. I started with the
- 51:38Speaker 4: CBD brand for WUSA, but then like everybody's baby, mama's neighbors, cousins,
- 51:43Speaker 4: something has a CBD line.
- 51:47Speaker 1: You were in it early.
- 51:48Speaker 4: Mine is my own stuff, and it was because of that,
- 51:51Speaker 4: it's it was much more expensive, and when all this
- 51:53Speaker 4: became mass produced fake shit, they want to go for that.
- 51:56Speaker 4: They don't want to go for the real stuff that's expensive,
- 51:59Speaker 4: So right, doubt. I partnered up with some people and
- 52:01Speaker 4: now I'm going to launch the THHC.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Side of it.
- 52:03Speaker 4: That's yeah, it's it's where the market's at, it's where
- 52:06Speaker 4: I'm at. It helps me with my nausea, throwing up
- 52:08Speaker 4: all day, and inflammation and that's from RI. That's from
- 52:12Speaker 4: ARI and the chemo. I inject myself once a week
- 52:15Speaker 4: in the stomach with chemo with a low doses of chemo,
- 52:17Speaker 4: and then I sit in a chair for IV infusions
- 52:20Speaker 4: once a month and receive medications.
- 52:22Speaker 2: And what does that help with the jecty?
- 52:24Speaker 3: Autoimmune disease?
- 52:26Speaker 2: And what is.
- 52:28Speaker 3: What my issue is?
- 52:29Speaker 4: I have an overactive immune system where my my cells
- 52:33Speaker 4: are attacking my body. Okay, they're attacking this autoimmune attacks
- 52:37Speaker 4: all my joints for some reason. That's why it's called
- 52:40Speaker 4: rheumatoid arthritis. So right now, about forty four of my
- 52:43Speaker 4: joints are under attack. I've had surgery as all that stuff,
- 52:46Speaker 4: you know. So it's basically the medication comes in and
- 52:50Speaker 4: suppresses that.
- 52:51Speaker 3: So I'm on immune.
- 52:52Speaker 4: Modulators, which is what COVID sort of needs to not exist, right,
- 52:57Speaker 4: So I have a very low chance of getting COVID
- 53:00Speaker 4: because of my high medications. I have like a one
- 53:02Speaker 4: percent chance of getting COVID for that, but I can
- 53:05Speaker 4: also it's very risky for me to get vaccinated. Oh wow,
- 53:09Speaker 4: So right now we're starting the program for me to
- 53:11Speaker 4: get vaccinated because what's going to happen is the vaccine.
- 53:15Speaker 4: What it does is overstimulates YOURMN system. I have a
- 53:19Speaker 4: massively over stimulated immune system and all my medications are
- 53:22Speaker 4: suppressing it. So I have to come off my meds
- 53:25Speaker 4: for some time, get the vaccine, stay off the meds,
- 53:28Speaker 4: and that vaccine is now going to put me backwards
- 53:31Speaker 4: with all my So it's I've been dreading doing it.
- 53:35Speaker 4: But now that LA is passing this new mandate that
- 53:37Speaker 4: you have to be vaccinated for everything, that's it.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Yeah you so your your body is basically attacking itself.
- 53:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, my body is killing itself.
- 53:47Speaker 4: So I just have to prevent it from killing me
- 53:49Speaker 4: because if it hits my lungs or heart area, then
- 53:52Speaker 4: the inflammation can kill you.
- 53:53Speaker 1: I have a question, how do people that have this
- 53:56Speaker 1: do they live long lives? They just have to be
- 53:58Speaker 1: on medication.
- 53:59Speaker 4: For us help if you if you treat it, a
- 54:01Speaker 4: lot of the times people will twine up with lupus
- 54:05Speaker 4: and fiber milage my my five. I can never fucking
- 54:08Speaker 4: say this word fibro mileage, milage.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Fibro milegia miles right.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Say that.
- 54:15Speaker 2: I want a lot of TV.
- 54:17Speaker 6: They have like the ad a lot of Anatomy, a
- 54:21Speaker 6: lot of the ads where they're like, if you're suffering
- 54:24Speaker 6: from Yeah, you know, I watched the say It so
- 54:29Speaker 6: tell me this because you you said that for after
- 54:32Speaker 6: you got into it with Adam.
- 54:34Speaker 2: You also did spiritual things I did to get leveled up.
- 54:40Speaker 2: And there's this thing that I've been into recently about
- 54:43Speaker 2: trusting my body and I mean knowing like I I
- 54:48Speaker 2: believe in it. I feel like it's on my side,
- 54:51Speaker 2: and I kind of say these things every day just
- 54:53Speaker 2: for for my own spiritual aiety. Do you find that
- 54:57Speaker 2: it's hard to see yourself and go, how is this
- 55:02Speaker 2: body attacking itself? It was I'm saying that that was.
- 55:06Speaker 3: The alcohol and oxy use.
- 55:07Speaker 4: Oh that was me not understanding why I'm so young
- 55:12Speaker 4: and I can't do what my friends can do that
- 55:13Speaker 4: I can't climb a staircase without feeling like I'm going
- 55:16Speaker 4: to die without you know, opening a bottle of water
- 55:19Speaker 4: like Randall just opened his water, but I can't do it.
- 55:21Speaker 3: I would have to do it with my teeth for
- 55:23Speaker 3: a long time. So for me being twenty something years
- 55:26Speaker 3: old getting.
- 55:27Speaker 4: Diagnosed as something you can't possess it, you don't process
- 55:30Speaker 4: it well. So it took me a while to accept
- 55:33Speaker 4: that that this is it and this is the rest
- 55:35Speaker 4: of my life and everyone has a flaw and what
- 55:39Speaker 4: am I going to do with this? And when I
- 55:42Speaker 4: put it on the show and I started talking about it,
- 55:45Speaker 4: and the outpour of people, young people who were like,
- 55:48Speaker 4: oh my god, it's okay to talk about, you know,
- 55:51Speaker 4: being sick, because she's pretty, she's got our life together
- 55:54Speaker 4: and she's got this disease.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Maybe I can. So it's just, well, my god, it's
- 55:59Speaker 3: been the best. It's the best.
- 56:00Speaker 1: That's great. I'm glad that you talk about it because
- 56:02Speaker 1: people need to hear that. Not everybody like people look
- 56:05Speaker 1: really good in their box, but it's not true. And
- 56:07Speaker 1: everybody's got their thing, whether it's that or law with
- 56:11Speaker 1: drinking or everybody.
- 56:12Speaker 2: I think it's important. And as you we all have issues,
- 56:14Speaker 2: as you have gotten older, I'm sure you look at
- 56:18Speaker 2: it as like this is not going to control my life, right,
- 56:21Speaker 2: this is a small piece of what I deal with,
- 56:24Speaker 2: But I have so many other things right to live
- 56:27Speaker 2: for and go and do and be grateful for it.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Right do you find that you?
- 56:31Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 56:31Speaker 4: I mean I think what you were saying a second
- 56:33Speaker 4: ago about the haters of having help and stuff like that,
- 56:36Speaker 4: it makes me. It's very hard for me. For those
- 56:39Speaker 4: who have been following me for years and have been
- 56:41Speaker 4: watching me, They've seen me go through this health process,
- 56:45Speaker 4: they've seen me suffer. And those are the same people
- 56:47Speaker 4: that are criticizing me for having help. You know, they
- 56:50Speaker 4: don't understand. I can barely open a bottle of water
- 56:53Speaker 4: without using my teeth. How do they think I'm going
- 56:55Speaker 4: to hold a thirty five pound right, boy that's.
- 56:57Speaker 3: Trying to run everywhere? I can't. I phizz can't. Right?
- 57:01Speaker 3: You know?
- 57:01Speaker 4: Was I selfish to have a child knowing I have
- 57:04Speaker 4: a disease?
- 57:05Speaker 3: Maybe maybe you know.
- 57:07Speaker 4: I don't know, you know, but I got set back
- 57:09Speaker 4: because my doctor said with that fluke of a pregnancy
- 57:13Speaker 4: laws they think everything because I got I was in
- 57:16Speaker 4: remission when I decided to go for pregnancy.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Oh wow, I was.
- 57:20Speaker 3: I was like, I got the clearance. I was good.
- 57:22Speaker 4: But with that loss, they think some shock happened to
- 57:25Speaker 4: my body that my I came back ten times worse.
- 57:28Speaker 4: So I began sitting in the ivy chair while I
- 57:31Speaker 4: was pregnant. It was six months pregnant. I had to
- 57:32Speaker 4: sit there like imagine my belly's out to hear and
- 57:34Speaker 4: him sitting there.
- 57:36Speaker 3: So that's what they said, we got to de baby.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Out's got to be super special because the fact that
- 57:40Speaker 1: you fought the fight that you fight, you know what
- 57:43Speaker 1: I mean, it's going to be an amazing dance. It's
- 57:45Speaker 1: just so really I mean that, I mean, that's.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Such a strange thing to your body. It's basically attacking itself.
- 57:52Speaker 2: But then your body is sitting here creating what You
- 57:55Speaker 2: can give me all the science in the world about
- 57:57Speaker 2: how a baby's created. No, it is a fucking miracle.
- 58:00Speaker 2: It is what it is.
- 58:01Speaker 3: It is.
- 58:01Speaker 2: You can give me all your facts that you want.
- 58:03Speaker 2: So that's a miracle. And so you know, it's like
- 58:06Speaker 2: you think about what you go through on the day
- 58:09Speaker 2: to day with Ra, but then you create this like beautiful,
- 58:12Speaker 2: healthy baby. You know, I don't know, see I don't
- 58:16Speaker 2: get stone, but I still have stoner thoughts.
- 58:17Speaker 3: No, it's not a stoner thought it's a logical Like.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Really, what I think is amazing is first of all,
- 58:24Speaker 1: having a baby as a feat in itself, but then
- 58:26Speaker 1: doing it under the circumstances that you deal with is
- 58:28Speaker 1: like is real.
- 58:29Speaker 2: That's a what was What was that like being pregnant? Like,
- 58:32Speaker 2: were you worried about his health going through having to
- 58:35Speaker 2: like still do your ivs and your injections.
- 58:38Speaker 3: I was.
- 58:39Speaker 4: I wasn't worried about his health too much until the
- 58:42Speaker 4: high risk doctor was like, we got to plan the
- 58:44Speaker 4: induction kind of concept because the inflammation is rising in
- 58:48Speaker 4: your body. But if you ask anyone who was around
