- 0:00Speaker 1: DFW. It's time to welcome Welcome Billion.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Bill Lead the Kid, RYMKA Leave a Kid in the Morning,
- 0:09Speaker 2: starring the one and only Candice Lopez and producer Pooh Really.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Kid in the Morning.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Live and logo Billy the Kid in the Morning Monday.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Moy, Hey, I'm trying to see how bad my voice
- 0:30Speaker 3: is this morning. It's mixed one on two point nine
- 0:33Speaker 3: Billing a Kid. Canda Slopez is your producer. Poo is here.
- 0:35Speaker 3: It's not that bad. It's getting a little bit better. Yeah,
- 0:38Speaker 3: but of course I ruined it this weekend talking so
- 0:41Speaker 3: much with Stuff a Bus, but it was well worth it.
- 0:43Speaker 4: I'm surprised you have anything left. I thought for sure.
- 0:46Speaker 5: By Monday you were gonna have nothing, and I was
- 0:47Speaker 5: just gonna have to host the show and point to
- 0:49Speaker 5: you and shouldn't do whatever translate for you.
- 0:52Speaker 1: That might be fun. Never mind, my hold on, I
- 0:54Speaker 1: think it's gone. Now.
- 0:57Speaker 3: We'll have to do Stuff a Bus recap coming up,
- 0:59Speaker 3: because it was absolutely incredible and it's one of the
- 1:02Speaker 3: best we've ever done. Garland showed up and showed out,
- 1:06Speaker 3: but they did. There's also some things that happened there
- 1:09Speaker 3: that were interesting.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Yeah, lots of things. I mean, there's so many that
- 1:13Speaker 4: I had to keep.
- 1:14Speaker 5: A note on my phone just to remember to talk
- 1:16Speaker 5: about all the interesting things that went down.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Yeah, things behind the scenes, things that happened with me,
- 1:21Speaker 3: with you, Yeah, with Pooh Pooh mostly yeah with.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Pooh mostly Oh Wow. Let me tell you something.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Cannas has the best conspiracy theory about Poo I've ever
- 1:33Speaker 3: heard in my entire life that we're going to talk
- 1:35Speaker 3: about coming up.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gotta be yea what I'm telling you. It
- 1:40Speaker 1: is so accurate.
- 1:41Speaker 3: And I pride myself on my investigations, right, but I
- 1:45Speaker 3: think Cannas might have figured something out about Poo's personal
- 1:47Speaker 3: life that I never.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Dawned on me.
- 1:49Speaker 5: This theory just kind of like fell in my lap.
- 1:51Speaker 5: I didn't even come up with this with a lot
- 1:53Speaker 5: of like work.
- 1:54Speaker 4: I didn't dig too hard to come.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Up with this.
- 1:56Speaker 5: I just really was observing and putting the pieces together, you.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Know, all weekend.
- 2:00Speaker 3: I'll put it this way, we talked about Poo having
- 2:02Speaker 3: a secret life and a secret maybe girlfriend or wife. Well,
- 2:07Speaker 3: I think Candic is really really honed in it might
- 2:11Speaker 3: be honest something and why I know he's a little
- 2:16Speaker 3: bit nervous about it because he's quiet right now.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Very quiet.
- 2:19Speaker 6: I'm just observant watching YouTube come up with these concoctions.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Oh no, because you know, we don't. We don't get
- 2:25Speaker 3: to hang out a lot behind, you know, outside of
- 2:28Speaker 3: the show. Right, so we see things that happened and
- 2:31Speaker 3: a couple of things I noticed and Candace really wow.
- 2:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm really excited to share this with everyone because
- 2:37Speaker 5: I want to get their thoughts, and I think people
- 2:39Speaker 5: are going to agree with me.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I really do, right, I think you're As a matter
- 2:42Speaker 3: of fact, I think we're gonna do that. We're gonna
- 2:44Speaker 3: have to wait. I think we're gonna do it like
- 2:45Speaker 3: seven around seven forty, because it's gonna have to be
- 2:49Speaker 3: its own segment.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, the conspiracy segment. Yep, pretty much. So wow.
- 2:56Speaker 1: To be good, Cannic, how are you this one? How
- 2:57Speaker 1: you feeling?
- 2:58Speaker 4: I'm good?
- 2:58Speaker 5: I feel pretty good. I mean, I'm tired of pushing through.
- 3:00Speaker 5: I've had, you know, way more coffee at this point
- 3:02Speaker 5: than I normally do. I kind of pace myself, but.
- 3:05Speaker 4: I need all of it. I'm good though. We watched
- 3:07Speaker 4: Inzo's movie last night.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Oh yes, it came out Friday, Like I told you,
- 3:11Speaker 5: guys on Disney. Plus it's the new Diary of a
- 3:13Speaker 5: Wimpy Kid movie, so awesome. Yeah, and so because we
- 3:16Speaker 5: were at Stuff of Us, there was no way for
- 3:18Speaker 5: us to watch it together. So I just said, please
- 3:21Speaker 5: just wait for Sunday night. I know that you've been
- 3:23Speaker 5: waiting for this for a year and a half, but
- 3:25Speaker 5: if you can wait two more days. And so we
- 3:27Speaker 5: watched it last night and seeing Enzo get a kick
- 3:30Speaker 5: out of himself, hearing his voice over the character and
- 3:32Speaker 5: seeing what the character looked like for the first.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Time because we had no idea what he was gonna
- 3:36Speaker 4: look like.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Well, let me say this too. One of the big
- 3:39Speaker 3: lines he has is the line that's going viral.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a zooee mama.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yes, he says zouee mama.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Yeah, it's from you know, Diary Wimby Kid. It's in
- 3:48Speaker 4: the books and all that.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Yeah, So we didn't realize that that was such a
- 3:52Speaker 5: big line until we started reading the books yep, and.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Watching the movies. But yeah, huge moment for him.
- 3:58Speaker 5: He's got two scenes in the movie he plays Mikey
- 4:01Speaker 5: and so it was just really fun.
- 4:02Speaker 4: I mean I cried last night. It's just hard to believe,
- 4:05Speaker 4: like that's the human you made.
- 4:06Speaker 5: And now he's in a movie and his name's in
- 4:08Speaker 5: the credits, and I'm just so proud of him for just,
- 4:10Speaker 5: you know, having the confidence to even try and do it.
- 4:13Speaker 3: He's a very mature seven year old. And I will
- 4:15Speaker 3: say this, he is going to be hooked.
- 4:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:19Speaker 5: Now, he watched the scenes that he's in over and
- 4:21Speaker 5: over and over and then start acting them out and
- 4:24Speaker 5: I mean he couldn't stop just like processing.
- 4:26Speaker 4: What he had done.
- 4:27Speaker 1: And we had him on the radio yesterday and he
- 4:29Speaker 1: did so good.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Yeah, he did.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I was like, maybe we should fire Pooh and him. Yeah,
- 4:36Speaker 3: I don't think we could afford Enzo.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Definitely.
- 4:40Speaker 3: No, it was a good time and that was that
- 4:42Speaker 3: was one of the highlights of Enzo coming by and
- 4:44Speaker 3: helping us because he was so helpful and he was
- 4:47Speaker 3: so proud of helping him putting the toys on the
- 4:49Speaker 3: bus and I mean we packed almost three.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Buses, which it was awesome.
- 4:55Speaker 3: So Producer Pooh worked so hard this weekend.
- 4:59Speaker 1: What's going on with you?
- 5:00Speaker 6: Well, where you're proud of Anzo, I'm frustrated with my
- 5:02Speaker 6: two kids. They set me up ugly. Yesterday I told
- 5:06Speaker 6: them i'd pick them up with their friends. I didn't
- 5:09Speaker 6: realize I was gonna pick them up at a Christmas
- 5:11Speaker 6: tree slash, a Christmas tree lighting.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Slash parade in downtown Wiley. So it's all that.
- 5:19Speaker 6: After being up all night or whatever, I didn't get
- 5:22Speaker 6: home till eight fifteen because I was stuck in traffic.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Yeah, trying to pick them up.
- 5:27Speaker 6: I had to park at jacket a box walk across
- 5:30Speaker 6: the street, go through a crowd and try to find
- 5:31Speaker 6: my kids. And I'm calling them on their phone and
- 5:34Speaker 6: they're like chilling. And then when I finally catch them, they're.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Like, we've been waiting on you. I'm like, dude, yea,
- 5:40Speaker 1: and they call you something.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Because that is frustrating me because two and I, you know,
- 5:43Speaker 3: we lived in that parking lot, slept on the RV.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Thank you to mcleans. Yes, but it was a beautiful RV.
- 5:49Speaker 3: We're still sleeping in the Walmart parking lot. Saturday night,
- 5:52Speaker 3: about two am, there was a police chase and it.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Went right through the parking lot. Yeah, and woke us up.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I mean I was sleeping like a baby. I was
- 6:01Speaker 1: so tired. And then about two am it was just like.
- 6:05Speaker 3: I mean every cop car in Garland was chasing someone
- 6:08Speaker 3: who and I woke up.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I was like, what is going on? What's happening?
- 6:11Speaker 3: Then I finally went back to sleep, and then about
- 6:14Speaker 3: I don't know an hour later, the cart guy decided
- 6:18Speaker 3: to right next to the window of the RV just
- 6:21Speaker 3: wrangle every cart and slam every car.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I'm sorry. I felt so bad for you guys. That's
- 6:26Speaker 4: so hard sleeping at a wal Mart.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Oh, it's okay. And then I was like, okay, we're good.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Now I got some sleep, now, you know, it's fine.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I get to go to bed again. About forty five
- 6:34Speaker 3: minutes later, they started pressure washing the parking lot. Yeah,
- 6:40Speaker 3: and this is the location with the drones. Yeah, so
- 6:43Speaker 3: that the drones were waking me up.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Oh sounded like giant mosquitos.
- 6:48Speaker 4: You're pretty cool, though.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I was like, you know what, I'm just gonna stay out. Yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 3: it's fine, But it was so much fun. And Garland,
- 6:54Speaker 3: thank you, not just Garland, by the way. We had
- 6:56Speaker 3: so many people from Saxy. Yeah, Saxy probably had more toys.
- 7:00Speaker 3: They probably dropped off more toys than any other city
- 7:02Speaker 3: I've ever even heard of him.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yeah, right, it was incredible.
- 7:04Speaker 3: But you're You're going to change the life of some
- 7:07Speaker 3: kids this year, yep, with toys for tots with what
- 7:10Speaker 3: you did, so thank you for that.
- 7:13Speaker 1: It's tough stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid.
- 7:16Speaker 4: In the morning only on the New Mix one two
- 7:19Speaker 4: point nine.
- 7:20Speaker 3: We want to know the Candas Lopez with everything we
- 7:22Speaker 3: need to know. Candas what up?
- 7:23Speaker 4: Yeah, well, cold starts of the work week, guys.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Parts of the Metroplex actually just hit freezing temperatures. But
- 7:28Speaker 5: we will get up to the upper forties, low fifties today,
- 7:32Speaker 5: but then we'll warm up for most of the week
- 7:34Speaker 5: by the mid sixties and.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Then a cold front again by the end of the week.
- 7:37Speaker 5: I'm personally ready for a good, crispy weekend indoors this time. Yeah,
- 7:42Speaker 5: but this stuff of us weekend was perfect to be
- 7:44Speaker 5: inside and we were outside.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah, but it was. It was good until yesterday.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Yes, yesterday was like way colder than they said it
- 7:51Speaker 3: was going to be.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 5: I thought the sun was going to be out yesterday,
- 7:53Speaker 5: but it was so foggy and drizzly.
- 7:56Speaker 4: But it's cold out there right now.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Just to heads up, guys, get ready for more Starbucks
- 8:01Speaker 5: Barista madness.
- 8:03Speaker 4: So after Starbucks got slammed for.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Overhyping that glass cup and then only shipping one or
- 8:08Speaker 5: two to most stores. They are trying again, which after
- 8:11Speaker 5: the fact, we realize people started, you know, submitting these
- 8:15Speaker 5: videos of baristas buying those cups, and Starbucks hasn't even
- 8:20Speaker 5: addressed that yet. I think they're just kind of like
- 8:22Speaker 5: trying to glaze over that fact. But the Barista cup
- 8:25Speaker 5: is part of their marathon giveaway. Seventeen thousand will be
- 8:28Speaker 5: available on their.
- 8:29Speaker 4: App, but you do have to win them. You can't
- 8:31Speaker 4: buy them this time. I know.
- 8:33Speaker 5: Starbucks says your chance starts today marathon rewards. I guess
- 8:38Speaker 5: we'll decide who gets one, and they're offered as an
- 8:40Speaker 5: instant win prize. So if you want to increase your
- 8:43Speaker 5: odds of getting one, they're saying, update the app.
- 8:46Speaker 4: First of all, have your.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Payment like in the app already, like Apple pay or
- 8:50Speaker 5: something like that, Make a qualifying purchase early, and then
- 8:54Speaker 5: check the app repeatedly.
- 8:55Speaker 4: Of course they want you to do.
- 8:56Speaker 5: That, which I mean at six twelve right now, who
- 8:58Speaker 5: knows if they're you know, and he left.
- 9:00Speaker 1: At this point right oh yeah, because it just kicked off.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Probably at six.
- 9:05Speaker 5: I can't be positive but there are so many coffeecats
- 9:07Speaker 5: out there, just heads up. Walmart has one, Amazon and
- 9:10Speaker 5: then of course the Billy Barrrista cup.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah, the one I made and I have. Can I
- 9:13Speaker 1: just empty out that, honey? You know what? And I
- 9:17Speaker 1: thought about going a Target for you, yeah, or Walmart.
- 9:19Speaker 3: You remember the Teddy the crackers? Was it like Teddy
- 9:22Speaker 3: or animal crackers? Oh yeah, oh yeah, but they came
- 9:25Speaker 3: in a big bear right the case or can I'm
- 9:28Speaker 3: gonna get that for you coming up.
- 9:29Speaker 4: I mean that's great. That'll give be a good gallon
- 9:32Speaker 4: or so a coffee in there. You can handle it,
- 9:34Speaker 4: need that I do. Yeah, guys.
- 9:36Speaker 5: The venue at the center of those Taylor Swift wedding
- 9:38Speaker 5: rumors is speaking out about that June thirteenth story.
- 9:42Speaker 4: So this is Ocean House.
- 9:43Speaker 5: Remember the Seaside venue in Rhode Island we told you
- 9:46Speaker 5: about on Friday.
- 9:47Speaker 4: So they're saying that Ocean House wouldnot and is not allowing.
- 9:52Speaker 5: Another party or entity to buy a wedding group out
- 9:55Speaker 5: of a contracted wedding date.
- 9:57Speaker 4: They won't confirm who, if anyone is.
- 9:59Speaker 5: Actually booked for that date. But I was thinking about
- 10:03Speaker 5: this statement, and I'm like, well, of course you wouldn't
- 10:05Speaker 5: do that, but Taylor could personally find this person and
- 10:08Speaker 5: be like, hey, cancel your wedding, cancel your contract.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Now the contract's open for me for this date.
- 10:13Speaker 3: And they're not gonna say they're doing that. We don't
- 10:15Speaker 3: do that, but we treat everyone the same. Yeah, right, right, yeah, right,
- 10:19Speaker 3: Taylor's gonna get whatever she wants. Yeah, and I mean, honestly,
- 10:22Speaker 3: thank God for this venue because now they're already popular.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Now they're gonna be massive.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure.
- 10:28Speaker 5: Side note, Taylor had the Kelsey Suite packed yesterday at Arrowhead.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Selena Gomez was in there with her Lena Dunham. And
- 10:35Speaker 5: I'm also hearing that Leonardo DiCaprio made a little appearance
- 10:39Speaker 5: in the suite too, that he wasn't really hanging out
- 10:41Speaker 5: with Taylor, but that he was on the New Heights
- 10:44Speaker 5: podcast a few months ago. It sounds like he must
- 10:46Speaker 5: now be friends with the Kelsey's. Wow, and the Chiefs
- 10:48Speaker 5: won their game yesterday too, so.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Yeah, our boss will be happy today. Good.
- 10:52Speaker 5: But this also tells me that Travis is going to
- 10:54Speaker 5: retire soon because she's now filling up the suite.
- 10:57Speaker 4: With her homies. Yes, you know, it was like she had.
- 10:59Speaker 5: You know, I didn't really bring a lot of people
- 11:01Speaker 5: into suite as this relationship was starting to go off.
- 11:04Speaker 5: But now I just feel like, hey, let's let's get.
- 11:05Speaker 4: This thing going. There's only a couple of games left, or.
- 11:08Speaker 5: She's just preparing for no you know, postseason action from
- 11:11Speaker 5: the Chiefs.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Well, I saw Leonardo DiCaprio brought some girl or something
- 11:14Speaker 3: that he was dating.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Yeah, weird.
- 11:16Speaker 3: How old is he again? How old is fifty? I'm
- 11:20Speaker 3: gonna have to really fifty something.
- 11:22Speaker 4: He is older than we want him to be.
- 11:25Speaker 5: That makes sense, so that we don't feel so old
- 11:28Speaker 5: old is he one?
- 11:30Speaker 3: Okay, so he's fifty one and he's dating this girl
- 11:32Speaker 3: who's nineteen.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Yeah, that's wild?
- 11:34Speaker 1: Is that? I mean? I know age is nothing but
- 11:36Speaker 1: a number, but that's wild. That's leo. Come on, bro,
- 11:42Speaker 1: look at Bill Belichick.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Though nineteen you can at least drink, you know what
- 11:48Speaker 4: I mean? Yeah, be Reale, you're a baby.
- 11:52Speaker 3: There's something about you know, nineteen fifty one, nineteen, I
- 11:58Speaker 3: get it right, Yeah, teenager? You know, people can date,
- 12:01Speaker 3: and there's plenty of women who date younger men. Yeah,
- 12:04Speaker 3: and I'm not shaming, but at the same time. At
- 12:06Speaker 3: some point it just becomes ick.
- 12:08Speaker 5: If you're a woman in you're fifty one and you're
- 12:10Speaker 5: dating a nineteen year old boy.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Man, Yeah, that's dick too. Yeah, it doesn't matter.
- 12:14Speaker 1: And then we think about it.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Like back in the day, we never even like I
- 12:17Speaker 3: was reading a story that I forgot about because I
- 12:20Speaker 3: was probably just younger and didn't pay attention. Right, But
- 12:23Speaker 3: like Jerry Seinfeld when he was grown grown, Yeah, he's
- 12:27Speaker 3: like thirty thirty something, he was dating a seventeen year
- 12:30Speaker 3: old what Yes, And it was all over the tabloids
- 12:33Speaker 3: and people were like, yo, he's dating somebody young child.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like, wait, how is he not canceled because
- 12:38Speaker 1: of that?
- 12:39Speaker 5: Well, because we didn't have Instagram back then.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Oh, good points, So it is.
- 12:42Speaker 4: That's right. I'm Candaslopez. Those are your textas top stories.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Real or fake news? Cannas Lopez? Are you ready ready? Producer?
- 12:49Speaker 1: Who are you ready?
- 12:50Speaker 3: Yes, sir, I can't believe how many people came to
- 12:52Speaker 3: stuff a bus and said that they play long. I
- 12:54Speaker 3: know it's a real fake news. Hold on, say something,
- 12:56Speaker 3: poor candasqued saw for a second.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Check check one too if you want.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Okay, thank you I had to do that. I'm struggling.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Listen. We talked to a lot of people over the
- 13:04Speaker 3: weekend for stuff about so yeah, my voice is gone
- 13:07Speaker 3: all right? First headline, Wealthy people are more likely to
- 13:12Speaker 3: steal from self checkouts. Wealthy people are more likely to
- 13:19Speaker 3: steal from self checkouts.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Headline number one.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Headline number two, buddies Elf costume has officially been auctioned
- 13:27Speaker 3: off for one point seven million dollars. Whoa buddies Elf costume?
- 13:34Speaker 3: The one that Will Ferrell?
- 13:35Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Or actually I.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Saw that movie before we watched it Friday.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Buddies' eelf costume has officially been auctioned off for one
- 13:42Speaker 3: point seven million dollars. That is headline number two and
- 13:46Speaker 3: headline number three. People who post their workouts a lot
- 13:50Speaker 3: may be dealing with psychological issues. People who post their
- 13:55Speaker 3: workouts a lot may be dealing with psychological issues. Three
- 13:59Speaker 3: head lines. One of them is fake. You gotta tell
- 14:02Speaker 3: me which one is fake? Candas, you want to go first?
- 14:04Speaker 3: You want to pass to Pooh?
- 14:04Speaker 1: Which one?
- 14:05Speaker 4: This one's a really hard to say. I'm passing it
- 14:07Speaker 4: to Pooh.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Okay, pooh.
- 14:09Speaker 6: Hmmm, let's go with that first story. Wealthy people stealing
- 14:14Speaker 6: themselves check outs. I don't think that's true. You don't
- 14:16Speaker 6: think that's true. They got money, why would they need
- 14:18Speaker 6: to steal?
- 14:19Speaker 3: Okay, well, true because people sometimes steal because and it's
- 14:22Speaker 3: not about the money.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Yeah, either way, let's lock.
- 14:25Speaker 3: That in, Lock me in, Locked in, all right, Cannas Lopez.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Which one do you think is the fake story?
- 14:30Speaker 4: I don't know. This one's hard.
- 14:31Speaker 5: I guess I'll go with the second story, lock me
- 14:33Speaker 5: in for Buddy the Elf, I don't know. I feel
- 14:34Speaker 5: like it might get more than one point seven million.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Really, you think that's an iconic costume.
- 14:39Speaker 1: One point seven million dollars is a lot of money.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, but I just feel like somebody out
- 14:43Speaker 5: there would pay more.
- 14:44Speaker 1: All right, let's lock.
- 14:45Speaker 3: That in, and the winner today is Cande Lopez. Yes,
- 14:55Speaker 3: now here's the shocking part though. Yeah, that is a
- 14:58Speaker 3: fake story, but it's the opposite of what you said.
- 15:01Speaker 4: No.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Yeah, Buddy's Eelf costume officially was auctioned off for way less.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Really the number was a little over three hundred thousand. Whoa, yeah,
- 15:11Speaker 1: which way.
- 15:12Speaker 3: It kind of shocked me because I thought the same thing.
- 15:14Speaker 3: I thought it would go for a lot more.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 15:16Speaker 5: I figured it would be in some show or something
- 15:18Speaker 5: and someone would take it around the country.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Yeah, so I tried to change the numbers, which wow.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I thought you were going to be like, that's too much.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's not.
- 15:26Speaker 1: So that's the fake story.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Now, the real story, wealthy people are more likely to
- 15:31Speaker 3: steal from self checkouts is real. A new report looked
- 15:34Speaker 3: into this, and twenty seven percent of people admit to
- 15:36Speaker 3: taking an item without scanning it on purpose, and surprisingly,
- 15:40Speaker 3: the ones who are most likely to do it are
- 15:42Speaker 3: not poor. Forty percent of people with a household income
- 15:45Speaker 3: of one hundred thousand dollars or more admit that they've
- 15:47Speaker 3: stolen something at least once. WHOA, Yeah, That drops to
- 15:52Speaker 3: twenty seven percent for households making fifty to ninety nine
- 15:56Speaker 3: thousand a year, and just seventeen percent of people making
- 15:59Speaker 3: less than fifty.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Thousand dollars say they have.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Wow.
- 16:03Speaker 3: So either people who make less money are more I
- 16:06Speaker 3: don't know, more honest and don't steal right, or or could.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Actually be the opposite.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Maybe this was rich people are just more honest about
- 16:14Speaker 3: their dishonesty.
- 16:15Speaker 4: Huh. That's a good point.
- 16:16Speaker 3: I don't know which one it is. But you know
- 16:17Speaker 3: who what generation? As far as like, you know, Millennials,
- 16:20Speaker 3: gen Zers, Boomers. Which ones do you think we're least
- 16:23Speaker 3: likely to scan something.
- 16:25Speaker 4: And leave least likely?
- 16:27Speaker 5: I'm going to say probably gen Zers.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Gen Z No boomers.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Really only less than two percent of boomers they say
- 16:36Speaker 3: steal from set self checkout.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Wow, they're afraid of that camera. The rest of us
- 16:40Speaker 4: are like, yeah, we see cameras all the time. It's
- 16:42Speaker 4: all good.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Millennials forty one percent of millennials said they've stolen what,
- 16:46Speaker 3: gen Z thirty seven percent, gen xers twenty four So
- 16:50Speaker 3: the older you get, the more honest you are.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Right, what's older than a boomer? I mean dinosaur.
- 16:58Speaker 5: Yeah, they're not here to tell us that's poo.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Not here to tell.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Us what's the generation after boomers?
- 17:09Speaker 1: Dead? All right?
- 17:15Speaker 3: People who post their workouts a lot maybe dealing with
- 17:17Speaker 3: psychological issues. This is a real story, they say. People
- 17:20Speaker 3: who frequently do this usually are coping with underlying psychological needs,
- 17:25Speaker 3: such as seeking validation or managing low self esteem. WHOA
- 17:30Speaker 3: research from the University some of You Fancy University in
- 17:33Speaker 3: the UK found that people who share gym activity more
- 17:36Speaker 3: often tend to score higher on narcissistic traits using posts
- 17:41Speaker 3: to gain attention and approval.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Wow.
- 17:43Speaker 3: While this doesn't necessarily indicate a clinical problem, it suggests
- 17:46Speaker 3: that excessive fitness posting can reflect a deeper emotional or
- 17:50Speaker 3: psychological psychological struggle.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I could see that.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I mean, I kind of get if you're posting a lot.
- 17:56Speaker 5: Yeah, but I like the workout videos because I save
- 17:59Speaker 5: them all and then I'm like, yeah, I'll do that never.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I don't think that's what they're talking about, though.
- 18:03Speaker 3: They're saying if you go to the gym and you
- 18:05Speaker 3: post it and tell everybody that you're working out, oh okay,
- 18:08Speaker 3: or it just worked out my glutes, or it's leg
- 18:10Speaker 3: day and post, you know, with your booty in the mirror, okay,
- 18:15Speaker 3: like some girls do.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:16Speaker 3: No.
- 18:17Speaker 5: I started at the beginning of this year when I
- 18:18Speaker 5: got a new treadmill. January first, I'm like, I'm gonna
- 18:21Speaker 5: document every time I get on the treadmill this year
- 18:23Speaker 5: and see how many it is by the end of
- 18:24Speaker 5: the year.
- 18:25Speaker 4: And it's embarrassingly low.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you used to do that a lot.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Still, well, because I haven't worked out in a few weeks.
- 18:31Speaker 1: But you're not a narcissist.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Well, I'm just like documenting it to show like this
- 18:35Speaker 5: is literally going to average out to once a week, which.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Is not good.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Who hasn't posted one either? Ever, he hasn't worked out, ever,
- 18:45Speaker 3: get off.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 18:48Speaker 7: Welcome to the dirty little Secret.
- 18:50Speaker 3: And if you got one, bring it on eight three, three, seven,
- 18:53Speaker 3: eight seven one or two nine. I don't care what
- 18:54Speaker 3: the secret is. Could be a big secret, little secret.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Uh yeah, we had some secrets on the site for
- 19:01Speaker 3: Stuff of Us. Yeah, that we got to talk about
- 19:03Speaker 3: a little bit later. I think Pooh's hiding a dirty
- 19:05Speaker 3: little secret. So y'all talk a little bit before seven forty.
- 19:10Speaker 3: At round seven forty, we're going to talk about something
- 19:12Speaker 3: that I think we figured out about Pooh that is
- 19:16Speaker 3: very interesting because Cannae Lopez has a new theory about
- 19:19Speaker 3: why he might be hiding his lover.
- 19:23Speaker 1: And who that lover is.
- 19:26Speaker 3: So and when she told me this this morning, very excited,
- 19:30Speaker 3: I go, oh my god, you might be right.
- 19:32Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 19:32Speaker 5: I wanted to tell you all weekend, but I just
- 19:34Speaker 5: didn't get a chance.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I know, Yeah, you're very busy, so okay ya crazy.
- 19:40Speaker 1: You could tell he's nervous because he doesn't know what
- 19:42Speaker 1: to say.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I'm not nervous.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I'm not worried about why you're getting high pitch. I'm
- 19:47Speaker 1: not nervous. I'm not worried about it.
- 19:50Speaker 3: All right, dirty little secret. So you've got a secret.
- 19:54Speaker 3: So what is going on anyway?
- 19:56Speaker 7: Well, my dirty little secret is that I've actually been
- 19:59Speaker 7: lying in my bra about why I've been helping him
- 20:01Speaker 7: with his bills.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Brother about helping out with his bills, or why you're
- 20:06Speaker 3: helping him out?
- 20:07Speaker 7: Well both, but well, yeah, I guess why I'm helping
- 20:10Speaker 7: out with the bills.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Okay, Well, that's extremely nice of you. What are you
- 20:13Speaker 1: lying about?
- 20:14Speaker 7: Well, so here's the thing. He thinks it's because I
- 20:16Speaker 7: got a raise at work and that I'm doing really well,
- 20:19Speaker 7: which I wish was the case. But actually the truth
- 20:22Speaker 7: is that my father, when he passed away a little
- 20:26Speaker 7: almost a year ago now, he left me with a
- 20:30Speaker 7: separate bank account. Okay, and I was very expressly instructed
- 20:35Speaker 7: not to tell anyone, especially my brother what because he's
- 20:40Speaker 7: kind of he's kind of always messing up. He's really
- 20:43Speaker 7: bad with money. My dad definitely did not trust him
- 20:46Speaker 7: with the money, but wanted to be able to help
- 20:49Speaker 7: him out, you know, as much as he could.
- 20:52Speaker 1: So yeah, I've been.
- 20:53Speaker 7: Using that money to basically quietly bail out my brother
- 20:57Speaker 7: whenever he needs it. And he, you know, my brother
- 21:01Speaker 7: promises he's going to pay me back, which I don't
- 21:03Speaker 7: even know if I should take it if he does,
- 21:05Speaker 7: because I feel so weird about it. But that's that's
- 21:08Speaker 7: kind of where I'm feel guilty.
- 21:09Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean that's insane.
- 21:13Speaker 3: So your dad specifically said, Hey, I'm gonna leave this
- 21:16Speaker 3: money to you. Don't don't not don't give it to
- 21:19Speaker 3: your brother, but don't let him know about it.
- 21:21Speaker 7: Wow, I'm tucking like six figure type money, and he
- 21:24Speaker 7: didn't want to just like let my brother inherit it
- 21:27Speaker 7: because I'm sure he just kind of piss it away.
- 21:29Speaker 3: And responsible and we're talking we're talking six figure type money,
- 21:35Speaker 3: so a lot of money.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Wow. Okay, I do you.
- 21:40Speaker 5: Feel like he's irresponsible too? Like, do you think that
- 21:43Speaker 5: was the right move on your dad's part?
- 21:45Speaker 7: Oh, one hundred percent. But I mean I still feel
- 21:47Speaker 7: guilty because now I'm like keeping a secret, like you know, I.
- 21:50Speaker 5: Don't at least you're sharing, you are out.
- 21:54Speaker 7: It's like if you were to get it all at once.
- 21:56Speaker 7: God only knows what he'd do with it, you know, so,
- 21:59Speaker 7: But I just still like I would be upset if
- 22:02Speaker 7: I found out.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Right, I was gonna say, your brother would probably be
- 22:05Speaker 3: relatively upset if or maybe he wouldn't.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Maybe he knows.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Like some people know they're bad with money, yeah, and
- 22:10Speaker 3: they're like, you know what, this is best that I
- 22:12Speaker 3: don't get near this account six figures.
- 22:14Speaker 4: I can figure out how to not be.
- 22:18Speaker 7: You are describing describe self awareness, and that is something
- 22:22Speaker 7: you don't have.
- 22:23Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 22:24Speaker 4: That's fair, right.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Well, I always say if I hit the lotto that
- 22:27Speaker 3: I'll give Candice some money over here, and I'll give
- 22:29Speaker 3: I won't give Producer Poo any money.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I'll give it to his sister. I'm responsible. I can
- 22:34Speaker 1: do this.
- 22:34Speaker 3: You're not.
- 22:35Speaker 1: If you give me some money, I can. First of all,
- 22:38Speaker 1: I'm a grown man, give me all the money.
- 22:40Speaker 3: He doesn't matter, doesn't matter if you're grown man, you're
- 22:42Speaker 3: awful with money. So I will give it to your
- 22:44Speaker 3: sister and she can give you an allowance. Allowance, she
- 22:48Speaker 3: can do this basically, Yeah, this is basically my plan.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Yeah, living fun for Morgan.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. You do me like I would give it
- 23:00Speaker 1: to your kids before I give it to the one.
- 23:03Speaker 4: I think Paul can handle it.
- 23:04Speaker 3: I think he'd buy all v Bucks on Fortnite, and
- 23:07Speaker 3: that'd be better use than what Poo would do.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Your twelve year old's got it.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Who would try to buy a strip club or raising
- 23:15Speaker 3: canes or combine them?
- 23:18Speaker 1: But we know, well, I.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Think you know what it is a good secret, and
- 23:23Speaker 3: you're doing the right thing, and you're helping your brother out,
- 23:25Speaker 3: and it's obviously you know it's gonna work out. You
- 23:28Speaker 3: have to follow somebody's wish.
- 23:30Speaker 5: It's not you went and bought a new house and
- 23:32Speaker 5: like doing all your doing your life, you know, glow up.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Yeah, if this is what he wanted, this is what
- 23:37Speaker 1: your dad wanted. Period.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Man.
- 23:39Speaker 7: I don't know what's going to happen when the money
- 23:41Speaker 7: runs out, but for now, I guess I'll just keep
- 23:42Speaker 7: on helping them out.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Well, good, well, thank you.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Hopefully you feel a little bit better by confessing, And
- 23:48Speaker 3: if you need help spending the money, just let me know.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I'm down the hill. Tough Stories on the Tents with
- 23:55Speaker 1: Billy the Kid in the Morning only.
- 23:56Speaker 4: On the New Mixed One, or two.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Point nine, yes, bright early on a Monday morning in
- 24:01Speaker 3: Canas Lopez.
- 24:02Speaker 5: What you got, Well, Dallas police arrested a woman for
- 24:04Speaker 5: stabbing a fire hose while Dallas firefighters were responding to
- 24:08Speaker 5: a house fire. So they put this fire out about
- 24:11Speaker 5: thirty five minutes.
- 24:12Speaker 4: I know this is a.
- 24:13Speaker 5: Wild story, but while Dallas Fire Rescue was working on this,
- 24:17Speaker 5: the thirty seven year old woman allegedly punctured one of
- 24:20Speaker 5: the hoses to try to impact their efforts. So they
- 24:24Speaker 5: also think that she's actually the one who started the fire.
- 24:28Speaker 5: There were multiple people on the scene who say they
- 24:30Speaker 5: witnessed her admit to setting the fire as she was
- 24:33Speaker 5: stabbing that fire hose. She was arrested in charge with
- 24:36Speaker 5: criminal mischief and first degree arson.
- 24:39Speaker 4: But I saw that, and.
- 24:40Speaker 5: I was just like, what an awful thing to do.
- 24:42Speaker 5: But obviously it was her house. She did this on purpose,
- 24:45Speaker 5: but still.
- 24:46Speaker 1: It was her house. Yeah, what the it?
- 24:48Speaker 6: I think?
- 24:49Speaker 1: So, and it was in Dallas.
- 24:50Speaker 4: It was in Dallas. Yeah, Well she started the fire
- 24:53Speaker 4: inside the house.
- 24:53Speaker 5: They don't know, you know, what type of heat source
- 24:56Speaker 5: she used to ignite these combustibles.
- 24:59Speaker 1: But yeah, so I think it was a Virginia slim,
- 25:02Speaker 1: That's what it was.
- 25:04Speaker 3: It's possible, trying to get some insurance money so she
- 25:07Speaker 3: can go up to win star.
- 25:09Speaker 1: So my grandma did I know. I think she sent her.
- 25:12Speaker 3: But I think she set our house on fire more
- 25:14Speaker 3: than I think about our house burned down we were kids. Yeah,
- 25:17Speaker 3: I think my granny might have did it herself.
- 25:19Speaker 5: I think you put the pieces together about this story
- 25:22Speaker 5: a while back, and that makes a lot of.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Sense it is.
- 25:25Speaker 1: So was my grandma gangster?
- 25:27Speaker 4: I mean, probably, all right, granny.
- 25:28Speaker 5: Yeah, guys, here's what Americans really want for Christmas. According
- 25:32Speaker 5: to a new survey, we want cash price.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Surprise, yes, come on, yeah.
- 25:39Speaker 5: It says fifty eight percent of people would prefer money
- 25:42Speaker 5: for the holidays, and they're hoping for an average of
- 25:44Speaker 5: slightly more than six hundred dollars. So they talked to
- 25:48Speaker 5: five thousand people for this. By the way, they also
- 25:50Speaker 5: found that Americans will spend an average of around eleven
- 25:53Speaker 5: hundred dollars on presents this year, and millennials are the
- 25:56Speaker 5: biggest spenders.
- 25:58Speaker 4: So there you go.
- 25:59Speaker 5: If you don't know what to get this year, just
- 26:00Speaker 5: put the money in the card, get the gift cards.
- 26:03Speaker 1: What do you want Cannis cash. You want cash?
- 26:05Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I do want cash. I'm trying to think
- 26:08Speaker 4: of anything.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I was gonna say. I was gonna get you guys
- 26:11Speaker 1: some but I'm not going to just give you cash.
- 26:13Speaker 4: I don't want cash from you, okay.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Like you're a good gift giver and I think you
- 26:16Speaker 5: think things out fairly and they're.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Kind of thoughtful. It's like, oh, yeah, that's so funny.
- 26:21Speaker 4: I remember saying I wanted that or that's so me. Okay,
- 26:23Speaker 4: that's what I want from you now. Pooh, I just
- 26:25Speaker 4: want cash.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Oh yeah, because he's a bad gift giver.
- 26:28Speaker 4: No, he's actually good. Yeah.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Are we doing Christmas gifts for each other?
- 26:34Speaker 4: And no, yeah we are.
- 26:35Speaker 1: We are.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Yeah, we're doing it.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I gotta ask cannas the mom of the show, to
- 26:38Speaker 1: see what's going on.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Yeah, we're going to exchange the gifts, probably this Friday,
- 26:41Speaker 4: I think on the air. Yeah, okay, just the heads up.
- 26:44Speaker 4: I just decided right now.
- 26:46Speaker 1: How would I I would not even know?
- 26:47Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I was just gonna let you know you guys.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Katie Perry went Instagram official with Justin Trudeau over the weekend.
- 26:57Speaker 5: She said, shared pictures and videos of their trip to Tokyo.
- 27:01Speaker 5: There was a selfie there, sushi, and a double date
- 27:04Speaker 5: I guess with the former Japanese Prime minister and his wife.
- 27:09Speaker 4: Yeah, what a weird circle that you're now running in,
- 27:11Speaker 4: not pop stars and actors.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Well, I also heard that she was in a lot
- 27:14Speaker 3: of trouble for something she wore when she met the
- 27:17Speaker 3: you know, the Japanese royalty.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Not royalty, but yeah, what was she wearing that got
- 27:21Speaker 1: her in trouble?
- 27:22Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 27:23Speaker 4: I hadn't heard that, but it wouldn't shock me.
- 27:26Speaker 5: You know, it's a different, different culture, you know.
- 27:28Speaker 3: I think she was wearing a skirt that goes well
- 27:32Speaker 3: above the knees, okay, and they a lot of people
- 27:34Speaker 3: thought that was disrespectful.
- 27:36Speaker 5: Ah, Okay, I guess Trudeau had spoke out about that
- 27:40Speaker 5: after she was slammed. I'm looking at the Oh yeah, okay,
- 27:42Speaker 5: it's a pretty short skirt.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Is it inappropriate?
- 27:45Speaker 4: No? No, not here?
- 27:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 27:47Speaker 5: You know, but you can see that the other woman
- 27:50Speaker 5: in the photo, she's got an almost ankle length skirt.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:55Speaker 4: And Katie's got like tights on underneath. Okay, Yeah, so
- 28:00Speaker 4: it looks fine like pantyhose. Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 5: I also heard that Katie actually plans to release her
- 28:05Speaker 5: eighth album coming up in the first half of next year.
- 28:07Speaker 5: I guess she wrote and recorded a lot of it
- 28:10Speaker 5: during her split with Orlando Bloom, but a source of saying,
- 28:13Speaker 5: you know, one four three, uh didn't go as planned
- 28:15Speaker 5: her last album, so she's overhauled her thinking for this one.
- 28:18Speaker 4: In her team hopes this is her moment to shine.
- 28:21Speaker 3: I don't know, guys, all right, well, I mean, do
- 28:23Speaker 3: you think Justin Trudeau is a good looking guy.
- 28:25Speaker 4: I mean he's fine.
- 28:27Speaker 5: He's like a you know, I don't know, kind of
- 28:29Speaker 5: like a Kendall kind of guy for me.
- 28:31Speaker 1: You know, I don't know why.
- 28:32Speaker 3: But his face is long, Yeah, like you got a
- 28:35Speaker 3: long why the long face?
- 28:40Speaker 1: You know what I mean? It's just not a bad
- 28:41Speaker 1: looking guy.
- 28:42Speaker 4: They more so look like family to be.
- 28:44Speaker 3: They look like brothers, sister. Yeah, they look like they
- 28:47Speaker 3: could be related.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Yeah, they do.
- 28:48Speaker 1: And it looks like someone you would draw.
- 28:50Speaker 3: No, you know what I mean, Like it looks like
- 28:52Speaker 3: if hey draw me someone with a long face, old
- 28:55Speaker 3: doodle face.
- 28:56Speaker 5: Yeah, oh my god, we're just roasting the former prime minister.
- 29:03Speaker 3: I'm not trying to I'm not I'm not trying to
- 29:06Speaker 3: be I'm sorry Justin Trudeau.
- 29:07Speaker 1: I heard he listens.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I know, Okay, We're we love Canada.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm Candas Lopez. Those are your Texas Top stories.
- 29:14Speaker 1: He's doing for Candace Court.
- 29:16Speaker 7: It gets settled here with Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 29:20Speaker 3: All rise for the Honorable Judge Candace Lopez residing on
- 29:23Speaker 3: the bench this morning.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I mixed one on two point nine.
- 29:26Speaker 3: If you got a case you want her to hear
- 29:28Speaker 3: at Mix one on two nine FM, or just hit
- 29:30Speaker 3: her up directly at Candace on Air, at Candas on Air.
- 29:33Speaker 3: We got a good one today. It's Bail at a Kid,
- 29:34Speaker 3: Candae Lopez and producer Pooh And we had stuff of
- 29:37Speaker 3: us this weekend, which was so good. A recap coming
- 29:39Speaker 3: up with that and a little controversy, a little conspiracy
- 29:43Speaker 3: theory Candas has come up with.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Usually it's me bringing drama.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Yeah, Kansas is bringing this drama because she brought up
- 29:50Speaker 3: a conspiracy theory that she thinks Pooh might have a
- 29:53Speaker 3: secret lover yep, and she thinks she knows who.
- 29:57Speaker 4: It is might not be as secret as we thought.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Okay, oh okay, we're gonna talk about that coming up.
- 30:03Speaker 3: We'll do that next. So first, Canis Court. So many
- 30:07Speaker 3: people love Canis Court. They're coming up to stuff with
- 30:09Speaker 3: us saying how much they love it, which we appreciate.
- 30:11Speaker 1: More than you know.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah, including we got to say hi to Maxwell
- 30:14Speaker 3: and his Momdi.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they were so awesome.
- 30:19Speaker 4: I might be saying it wrong, but probably are.
- 30:21Speaker 3: But it's okay. You're the judge. Yeah no, they were
- 30:24Speaker 3: just great too, So I wanted to say hi to them.
- 30:26Speaker 3: So many people to say hi too. But all right,
- 30:28Speaker 3: let's get to this case. Are you ready, Cannis? Ye?
- 30:30Speaker 3: All right, hit it, go ahead, Thank you. I'm losing
- 30:32Speaker 3: my voice. I should have poo read this. Yeah, that
- 30:36Speaker 3: would have taken too long. Well popcorn, pooh, pay popcorn,
- 30:43Speaker 3: Cannis Court, please take my case. So my birthday is
- 30:46Speaker 3: coming up next week on the fifteenth. Obviously, we celebrate
- 30:50Speaker 3: Christmas on the twenty fifth. Here's the thing, though, last year,
- 30:53Speaker 3: my boyfriend got me one present for both. I don't
- 30:59Speaker 3: want to be weird, but it feels a little cheap
- 31:02Speaker 3: that he does this. I didn't say anything last year
- 31:04Speaker 3: because it was our first holiday together, but now I
- 31:07Speaker 3: feel like maybe I should say something this year before
- 31:10Speaker 3: it's too late. He's not cheap in general, so it's
- 31:14Speaker 3: weird that these things are, you know, ten days a part,
- 31:16Speaker 3: and he chooses not to get me gifts for both.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Let me know what you think, though, I have a
- 31:22Speaker 3: week until my birthday and I want to speak up
- 31:24Speaker 3: about it now if I'm going to that or I
- 31:27Speaker 3: just wait and see if it's different this year. Thanks,
- 31:31Speaker 3: love you guys. Oh well it's a good one. So
- 31:34Speaker 3: oh interesting.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I always feel sorry for people who have Christmas birthdays.
- 31:38Speaker 3: I do too, because they do get ripped off.
- 31:40Speaker 5: Yeah, they just get kind of thrown into the mix.
- 31:42Speaker 5: Everybody's so busy sometimes you barely get a celebration.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, really though, And even if they want to
- 31:48Speaker 3: make it a thing to wear, I'm gonna make sure
- 31:50Speaker 3: you get a two gifts. They still buy less for
- 31:53Speaker 3: the people with I don't care what anybody says. If
- 31:56Speaker 3: you have a Christmas birthday, I'm sure you know this,
- 31:58Speaker 3: you get ripped off.
- 31:59Speaker 4: Yeah. I'd rather you spend less and get two gifts.
- 32:02Speaker 4: One that is, you.
- 32:03Speaker 5: Know the point of that gift is for my birthday,
- 32:05Speaker 5: and one you intentionally bought for me for Christmas.
- 32:07Speaker 4: Oh really, then to just get one. Yeah, that's not fair.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Well, I mean with this boyfriend in particular, he buys
- 32:13Speaker 3: one thing, he probably doesn't know what to do.
- 32:16Speaker 1: But that's no, in my opinion, very absurd.
- 32:20Speaker 5: Like I tell people all the time who don't like
- 32:22Speaker 5: to celebrate their birthdays, like I hate hearing that, especially
- 32:25Speaker 5: after becoming a mom and having a kid and knowing
- 32:27Speaker 5: how important that day is, that one day of the year.
- 32:30Speaker 4: I don't want to do stuff late. I don't want
- 32:32Speaker 4: to do stuff early.
- 32:33Speaker 5: That is your my hour, whoever it is, that's my
- 32:36Speaker 5: one day of the year to celebrate my life.
- 32:39Speaker 1: No, you should.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Yeah, people who celebrate their birthdays and do it big.
- 32:42Speaker 3: It doesn't bother me. I'm not one of those people.
- 32:44Speaker 3: But you know, some people celebrate for like three months.
- 32:46Speaker 5: Like she's already fighting the Christmas parties, you know what
- 32:49Speaker 5: I mean, Like, how can she ever pick a Friday
- 32:51Speaker 5: or Saturday night that's close to her birthday, right, you know,
- 32:54Speaker 5: because everybody's got Christmas.
- 32:55Speaker 4: Parties, right?
- 32:56Speaker 3: And I think the boyfriend, if anybody in her life,
- 33:00Speaker 3: should compensate for the people that only get one gift
- 33:03Speaker 3: and that blow her off because it's around Christmas. It
- 33:06Speaker 3: should be him so not only should he be buying
- 33:08Speaker 3: two gifts, he should be doing two special things for
- 33:11Speaker 3: her and make sure that her birthday is not blown
- 33:14Speaker 3: over and just whatever. He should be going out of
- 33:17Speaker 3: his way, because that's a boyfriend's responsibility or a husband's
- 33:20Speaker 3: responsibility to make sure your your girl is taking care
- 33:23Speaker 3: of and feels special. And who's giving me the worst
- 33:26Speaker 3: look right now?
- 33:28Speaker 6: I mean mean what he could go all out, he
- 33:31Speaker 6: order some roses to you know, to her job, take
- 33:34Speaker 6: her out on a nice dinner, and then just get
- 33:36Speaker 6: her a big, big present Christmas.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Well that's special.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that's better than nothing, better than talk about it.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Yeah, but if you get now, let's say you get her,
- 33:44Speaker 3: give her the gift obviously for birthdays the fifteenth. Yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 3: and she's going to be getting a gift on the fifteenth, yes,
- 33:50Speaker 3: so then that means Christmas morning.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Uh yeah, well you just got that gift that I
- 33:54Speaker 1: gave you for the birthday. No, that's no, that's awful.
- 33:57Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't like that.
- 33:58Speaker 1: But should she have to say something?
- 34:00Speaker 5: She shouldn't have to say something. But you know, I've
- 34:03Speaker 5: been in situations too before. I'm like, man, do I
- 34:05Speaker 5: say something? This is just gonna keep happening if I
- 34:07Speaker 5: don't set the boundary, and before you know, I'm recovering
- 34:10Speaker 5: people pleaser, and so I would tell I would be like, well,
- 34:15Speaker 5: it just is what it is. I can't now set
- 34:17Speaker 5: the boundary after I've let this go for five years, you.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Know, I mean, what what she could do? And I
- 34:23Speaker 1: think this might be an option she could.
- 34:25Speaker 3: It takes someone that is close to both of them
- 34:27Speaker 3: m hm and be like, hey, drop a hint, you know,
- 34:31Speaker 3: h drop a hint that he's messing up.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that way he doesn't. He gets me at least
- 34:36Speaker 1: two gifts.
- 34:36Speaker 5: Yeah, everybody deserves to have their birthday celebrated big every year.
- 34:40Speaker 5: And you deserve to have the gift whatever it is,
- 34:42Speaker 5: big or small. It doesn't have to be expensive, but
- 34:44Speaker 5: at least tell me your thought and that's my thing
- 34:46Speaker 5: that's special.
- 34:47Speaker 3: That's what I was just about to say. Doesn't have
- 34:49Speaker 3: to be expensive and spend a ton of money. It's
- 34:51Speaker 3: got to be well. Men, women don't care about expensive gifts.
- 34:56Speaker 3: They care about the thought behind it. Yes, it's not
- 34:59Speaker 3: brain surgery. They care about how much thought you put
- 35:02Speaker 3: behind it.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Get her a birthday tree, put her a Christmas tree,
- 35:04Speaker 5: and turn it into a birthday tree with little gifts
- 35:06Speaker 5: and things on it.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, leading up to her birthday and then Christmas
- 35:11Speaker 3: and do special things.
- 35:12Speaker 1: It can be just things that you do.
- 35:14Speaker 4: Yeah, and then she doesn't have to tell her I.
- 35:16Speaker 6: Can she just appreciate a big dummy, the fact that
- 35:19Speaker 6: he's going all out in maybe this is Poo's lover.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Oh, maybe this is Poo's lover and she's writing in Okay,
- 35:27Speaker 3: you know what, let's get to it. We got Poo's
- 35:29Speaker 3: lover talk coming up.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Next, lover talk.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Wait e gross, Yeah, I'm disgusted by just saying lover talk.
- 35:37Speaker 1: All right, Canice? Do we have a verdict?
- 35:39Speaker 3: We do?
- 35:40Speaker 5: I mean, you said he's not cheap, so if he's
- 35:42Speaker 5: not cheap, we're still going to respect this guy, I guess,
- 35:44Speaker 5: and we'll say he's economical, but he is also guilty
- 35:47Speaker 5: of being a bargain.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Ben oh bro. Her birthday is the fifteenth. You got
- 35:53Speaker 4: ten days.
- 35:54Speaker 5: To figure it out in between the two and how
- 35:55Speaker 5: to make two days special.
- 35:57Speaker 4: For this Like then think about this.
- 35:58Speaker 5: You got the whole year off, maybe Valentine's say you
- 36:01Speaker 5: do your thing whatever anniversary, You.
- 36:02Speaker 4: Got the whole year on December is the month.
- 36:05Speaker 5: You just gotta, you know, stand up, stop stress and
- 36:07Speaker 5: figure it out and get.
- 36:08Speaker 4: This girl a birthday gift.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Maybe he could be guilty being a dollar store Darryl.
- 36:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean Lucy bought something if you went to
- 36:16Speaker 5: the dollar store exactly.
- 36:17Speaker 1: But for now he is guilty of being a ben.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Ain't you with a kid?
- 36:21Speaker 3: Cannis Lopez producer poo. By the way, we gotta say
- 36:23Speaker 3: to what up Willy? Willy want to do appeal your
- 36:26Speaker 3: Canis court?
- 36:27Speaker 1: He did.
- 36:28Speaker 3: We just don't have time for the appeals court right now.
- 36:30Speaker 3: But Willy, thank you. We love that you listen. Strong
- 36:32Speaker 3: case is very strong case, very strong case. Okay, Now,
- 36:36Speaker 3: stuff of us happened this past weekend. First of all,
- 36:40Speaker 3: I was almost in tears last night thinking about it.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Same and I don't want to get emotional because I'm
- 36:45Speaker 3: losing my voice as it is, and that won't help.
- 36:47Speaker 3: But thank you for making it happen and making it
- 36:51Speaker 3: the biggest stuff of bus.
- 36:53Speaker 1: And Is ever.
- 36:55Speaker 3: So we had grand total of are you ready for
- 36:58Speaker 3: this yep? Six thousand, four hundred and thirty five toys wow,
- 37:03Speaker 3: which is huge. We stuffed three buses, yeah, forget one
- 37:07Speaker 3: bus not stuff about.
- 37:09Speaker 1: We might have to change the name to stuff of Buses.
- 37:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I love that they were on call, like whenever
- 37:13Speaker 5: you need a new bus, just call me. They brought
- 37:15Speaker 5: a new bus like night at night on Saturday and shout.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Out to her. What was her name, miss Jazz?
- 37:19Speaker 3: This Jazz was awesome. She was from Garls, Garland, ID.
- 37:23Speaker 3: But we appreciate that. There's so many people. We gotta
- 37:25Speaker 3: think and we'll get to it. But so many things
- 37:27Speaker 3: happened that was very interesting during Stuff a Bus. Obviously
- 37:30Speaker 3: we're making a difference in kids' lives and that's what
- 37:33Speaker 3: really matters. And toys for tots and the Marines who
- 37:36Speaker 3: were out there and they just do so many amazing
- 37:38Speaker 3: things and get these toys out to the kids this year.
- 37:41Speaker 3: But also living in a Walmart parking lot for three days,
- 37:45Speaker 3: you learn about each other. Even if I've known Pooh
- 37:49Speaker 3: for twenty five thirty years and you can is for
- 37:52Speaker 3: twenty something, you learned things about each other when you're
- 37:55Speaker 3: in close proximity. First of all, Pooh, he started snoring
- 37:59Speaker 3: loud than he did last year. Oh boy, I only
- 38:02Speaker 3: sleep with Poo once a year. Wait, what in proximity
- 38:07Speaker 3: in the yeah, in the same RV. His snoring's gotten louder.
- 38:13Speaker 3: But one thing that we noticed in Poo and I
- 38:17Speaker 3: as we were around each other, and Cannas obviously was
- 38:18Speaker 3: there too, but Cannis it started. We sidelined this morning
- 38:23Speaker 3: and had a little huddle and she said, did you
- 38:25Speaker 3: notice and we talked about it that do you notice
- 38:27Speaker 3: Poo's on the phone non stop?
- 38:29Speaker 1: And stop? Who is on the phone non stop? At stuff?
- 38:33Speaker 1: A bus? Now?
- 38:33Speaker 4: I know you're working, you're getting another.
- 38:35Speaker 5: Bus, you're getting food organized, and you've got some contacts that.
- 38:38Speaker 4: Were coming by to drop off toys and things like that.
- 38:40Speaker 4: But this was excessive.
- 38:41Speaker 1: It was it was at one point that was FaceTime.
- 38:45Speaker 3: And here's where it got a little weird is every
- 38:46Speaker 3: time I walked around or somebody walked around, it was
- 38:49Speaker 3: immediate like yeah, yeah, okay, well yeah, I'll hit you
- 38:52Speaker 3: back and.
- 38:53Speaker 1: They hang up.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Okay. So Cannis came in this morning, and you know,
- 38:57Speaker 3: we already think Poo has this secret lover.
- 39:00Speaker 1: And I like saying lover because we don't know. That's
- 39:02Speaker 1: so I don't like that we know he has a
- 39:06Speaker 1: secret lover.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Say it a secret Garland lover. Garland. I don't know
- 39:18Speaker 3: something's going on. So Candace came in and she goes,
- 39:20Speaker 3: you know what, I think I figured it out. And
- 39:23Speaker 3: I said, really, because Cannis doesn't really get involved like
- 39:26Speaker 3: I do.
- 39:29Speaker 4: You know, I enjoy the ride. I watched the show.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Yeah, she's Jerry Jones all all in on this theory.
- 39:35Speaker 1: So tell us your theory, Cannas, because this is brilliant.
- 39:38Speaker 5: Well, there was a moment Who and I were sitting
- 39:40Speaker 5: by ourselves at the broadcast table.
- 39:42Speaker 4: You know, and he was on FaceTime. You know, we
- 39:46Speaker 4: had pizza.
- 39:46Speaker 5: Delivered or whatever, and we were eating.
- 39:48Speaker 4: He knows now what I'm.
- 39:49Speaker 1: About to say.
- 39:51Speaker 3: He was on FaceTime with an ex.
- 39:55Speaker 5: Not just an X, but the only X we refer
- 39:57Speaker 5: to by a nickname yep, see Murder. They were facetiming
- 40:03Speaker 5: and she was making fun of him for always eating
- 40:06Speaker 5: when she face times him. And she was telling me,
- 40:09Speaker 5: you know, don't let him have all that. Stop with
- 40:12Speaker 5: the snacks, stop with the food out there. He's being
- 40:15Speaker 5: a big back. And so I played the big Back
- 40:17Speaker 5: song on my phone for her.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Actually saw her on the screen, like.
- 40:21Speaker 5: We got to see each other face to face on
- 40:23Speaker 5: the phone, and I was like, okay, I like her
- 40:26Speaker 5: vibes big, and that's what it occurred to me. I
- 40:31Speaker 5: think that you guys are secretly together. I think so
- 40:39Speaker 5: because I thought to myself, how I FaceTime anyone this weekend?
- 40:44Speaker 3: Yes?
- 40:44Speaker 4: Who? My husband and my son?
- 40:46Speaker 1: Right, and that's the only person I facetimed.
- 40:49Speaker 4: My p ones, your pa ones, yes, yes.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Position your VIPs.
- 40:53Speaker 4: Yeah, my family?
- 40:55Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, this is interesting. So do you think you
- 40:59Speaker 3: also said something too that was brilliant? Canna said, you
- 41:01Speaker 3: know what, And that's why I think he's tired a
- 41:03Speaker 3: lot because he's driving and walks the hatchie to see her.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Right.
- 41:06Speaker 5: Oh, I think that's what's going on.
- 41:10Speaker 4: It's a lie. It's just a hike down there.
- 41:12Speaker 1: It's a big reach for both of y'all. So let
- 41:15Speaker 1: me ask you.
- 41:16Speaker 3: And I almost wanted to get Sea Murder on the
- 41:18Speaker 3: phone myself, because first of all, I love Sea Murder. Yeah,
- 41:21Speaker 3: and I think you absolutely should get back with her.
- 41:24Speaker 4: I do too.
- 41:25Speaker 5: If you're not, y'all have such a good time on
- 41:27Speaker 5: your calls.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys love each other. You just won't say it. No,
- 41:31Speaker 3: maybe you will. That's why I'm gonna ask you right now. Pooh, Yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 3: is there any truth to this rumor. No, there's no truth,
- 41:39Speaker 3: and you know better.
- 41:40Speaker 1: Why should I know better?
- 41:41Speaker 6: Because I told you about two months ago who she
- 41:43Speaker 6: was dating. You did, yes, oh, now you got all time.
- 41:48Speaker 1: I shut you out some Yeah.
- 41:50Speaker 6: You were like that's weird, and I was like, yeah,
- 41:54Speaker 6: signed off on it.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Yeah, oh that's right.
- 41:57Speaker 4: Yeah, she's dating someone.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Yeah, Candace doesn't know, but yeah, this is weird. I
- 42:04Speaker 1: told Billy. He was like, I forgot. He goes, how
- 42:07Speaker 1: would you wait?
- 42:08Speaker 4: What is it someone we know?
- 42:09Speaker 1: Yes, so listen to this.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Pooh had somebody call him and say, hey, would you
- 42:14Speaker 3: mind if I took out your ex?
- 42:16Speaker 1: Murder?
- 42:16Speaker 4: Really?
- 42:17Speaker 1: I forgot about this? And who was it? Boo my
- 42:19Speaker 1: cousin Drey. Yeah, yes, yeah they went out on date. Yeah.
- 42:25Speaker 4: So so are they together?
- 42:28Speaker 1: No, they're not together, but they they you know, they
- 42:30Speaker 1: would dated.
- 42:31Speaker 4: And it didn't work though, not together as.
- 42:33Speaker 6: Far as I know, Like, I don't know, I haven't
- 42:36Speaker 6: dove off into it. I don't think that that means
- 42:38Speaker 6: you couldn't be with her.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I'm.
- 42:41Speaker 4: Not going to walk myself that ship. If she wants to,
- 42:46Speaker 4: We're just what.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Yeah, why not? Sometimes it just takes a break, you know.
- 42:51Speaker 6: Because we'd be fighting. We've we've we loved too hard. Yeah,
- 42:56Speaker 6: excuse me. Yeah, when we were.
- 42:58Speaker 1: In it, we were just it's passionate. Yeah. It was
- 43:01Speaker 1: both toxic. Yeah, it was botoxic.
- 43:04Speaker 5: So then the toxicness, the toxicity rules out.
- 43:08Speaker 4: If you're both toxic.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Yeah, we're just real toxic. Billy knows. He would sit
- 43:12Speaker 1: up there and be like, I know, but yeah, you're
- 43:16Speaker 1: more mature she is. Yeah, so maybe you can make
- 43:19Speaker 1: it work now, is what I'm saying.
- 43:21Speaker 4: Concerned for your health.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Yeah, she is. She cares.
- 43:25Speaker 4: It comes from a place of love.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you wouldn't let me, let me ask you that.
- 43:29Speaker 1: I don't know. You wouldn't get back with her. No, No,
- 43:35Speaker 1: we're friends. We're cool.
- 43:36Speaker 3: If she said, if she said, you know what, listen,
- 43:38Speaker 3: who I missed those rolls on the back of your head.
- 43:43Speaker 1: You're reaching.
- 43:43Speaker 3: I'm going to put some butter on them, and I
- 43:48Speaker 3: want to just cuddle. Let's let what do you say
- 43:51Speaker 3: we do round two of me and.
- 43:53Speaker 4: You two or four?
- 43:57Speaker 1: Say round four, let's go for more.
- 44:00Speaker 4: I can't do it.
- 44:01Speaker 1: No, you would tell her, no, no, we wouldn't do it.
- 44:03Speaker 3: And you would tell her, now, would Yeah, you would
- 44:05Speaker 3: tell her no, Yes, I don't believe.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I would I think you still love her? No, I don't.
- 44:10Speaker 3: I think you still love It's okay, I think you're
- 44:13Speaker 3: still in love and there's nothing wrong with that, saying on.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Their hand to the man.
- 44:17Speaker 6: If I really wanted to, I would tell y'all first,
- 44:20Speaker 6: I would actually ask God, what do you think?
- 44:22Speaker 1: Hey, here's the situation.
- 44:24Speaker 6: I'll probably ask Kandas first because I know you will
- 44:26Speaker 6: clown me, but I'd be like, hey, here's the situation.
- 44:29Speaker 6: What do you think Candace blah blah blah.
- 44:31Speaker 4: And I wish I had that conversation. I want this
- 44:34Speaker 4: to happen. I'm trying to manifest this.
- 44:36Speaker 3: I think it's going to happen. It's not, especially because
- 44:39Speaker 3: she's got money can buying food.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Let's do this in twenty six. Yes, that's a hot take.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Let us know what you think.
- 44:50Speaker 4: Here's today's hot TAKEE I taking the day.
- 44:52Speaker 3: I'm mixed one or two point nine. By the way,
- 44:54Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I'm losing my voice. It's actually not worse.
- 44:58Speaker 4: I thought, yeah, I thought it was going to be
- 44:59Speaker 4: way worse. It's like nothing.
- 45:00Speaker 3: I thought it was gonna be worse because I mean,
- 45:02Speaker 3: stuff of us all weekend.
- 45:03Speaker 1: We just I just didn't stop talking.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Oh, and I gotta think who brought me up chloro septic?
- 45:09Speaker 1: Was that Zach?
- 45:10Speaker 3: Oh?
- 45:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Zach and his mom Zee Zach and shout out
- 45:13Speaker 1: to Zach and his mom.
- 45:14Speaker 6: Home.
- 45:14Speaker 3: People were bringing me tea and cough drops and you
- 45:19Speaker 3: were so awesome. Thank you for that. Not to mention
- 45:21Speaker 3: a ton of toys and we broke our record. But
- 45:23Speaker 3: either way, it's mixed one or two point nine A
- 45:25Speaker 3: Billy the Kid, Cannon Slowpez producer who hot take of
- 45:27Speaker 3: the Day. I saw this mom go viral on TikTok,
- 45:30Speaker 3: and I'm like, this is probably something we should talk
- 45:32Speaker 3: about because it's kind of interesting to me because this
- 45:34Speaker 3: year is I mean, I don't know, it feels extra
- 45:37Speaker 3: difficult for a lot of people with everything being more expensive. Yeah.
- 45:40Speaker 3: So this woman on TikTok, her name is Mackenzie. She
- 45:44Speaker 3: starts talking to her daughter, her eleven year old daughter,
- 45:46Speaker 3: about what she wants for Christmas, and the list is insane. Yeah,
- 45:52Speaker 3: it's an iPhone seventeen. What else is on there? Some
- 45:55Speaker 3: Lulu lemon leggings, a bunch of.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Makeup, skincare, elephant drunk? What is that?
- 46:00Speaker 4: It's really expensive like skincare.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Oh it is?
- 46:03Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, yeah that either way. The list totaled, Are
- 46:06Speaker 3: you ready for this? Over five thousand dollars? Oh my gosh,
- 46:11Speaker 3: over five grand.
- 46:13Speaker 4: Wow.
- 46:14Speaker 3: And when she posted it, people were just like, wait,
- 46:16Speaker 3: do you see anything wrong with this? And mom got
- 46:20Speaker 3: on there and was like, no, I think this is
- 46:21Speaker 3: actually very reasonable. Things are more expensive if we have
- 46:25Speaker 3: the money, why not.
- 46:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:27Speaker 3: So that's my question for hot take of the day.
- 46:29Speaker 3: If you have the money, is this okay?
- 46:32Speaker 4: I mean sure, it's okay.
- 46:33Speaker 5: If depending on what percentage of your income, you feel
- 46:36Speaker 5: like you spend on your kids for Christmas.
- 46:38Speaker 4: Now putting it on the internet, that's the cringe part.
- 46:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I can't see me spending five grand
- 46:44Speaker 5: on my kid for Christmas.
- 46:46Speaker 4: You know, it is more expensive. But she has like
- 46:48Speaker 4: uber uber uber taste.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:50Speaker 3: And by the way, this is an only child. It's
- 46:52Speaker 3: an only child. I have my son's you know, he's
- 46:54Speaker 3: my only son. And you have one son who has
- 46:57Speaker 3: multiple kids. It's more difficult with people, you know, with
- 47:01Speaker 3: multiple kids. And I know my son gets spoiled.
- 47:03Speaker 1: I know he does. We're working on it, but its
- 47:06Speaker 1: right And like.
- 47:06Speaker 3: Pooh just said off the air. Also, something very important
- 47:09Speaker 3: is if you can spoil your kids and you can
- 47:12Speaker 3: do stuff like this, is to balance it out by
- 47:14Speaker 3: doing the good things and showing. Like I tell my son, listen,
- 47:18Speaker 3: not everyone gets treated like you, right, Not everybody's able
- 47:22Speaker 3: to do the stuff that we do. We're lucky we
- 47:24Speaker 3: went to on Disney cruise. Appreciate this. Yes we didn't
- 47:28Speaker 3: even pay for that.
- 47:29Speaker 5: Yeah, that was a work perk, you know, which we're lucky, lucky, lucky,
- 47:33Speaker 5: lucky to get and have our kids experience every year.
- 47:35Speaker 3: I always you know, I don't make my son because
- 47:37Speaker 3: he loves doing it, but he wants to come after
- 47:39Speaker 3: stuff with us and help sort the toys with toys
- 47:41Speaker 3: for tops.
- 47:42Speaker 4: YEA good for him.
- 47:43Speaker 3: I want him to see that look at all these toys,
- 47:46Speaker 3: semi trucks full of toys that are going to kids
- 47:49Speaker 3: who don't have any.
- 47:51Speaker 5: Yeah, that's hard for them to process, but it's a
- 47:53Speaker 5: lesson we absolutely have to teach our kids.
- 47:55Speaker 3: I think it's important to you know, balance that out.
- 47:57Speaker 3: But do you buy kid this my stuff?
- 48:00Speaker 4: Yeah? I don't think you do. I get where they're
- 48:04Speaker 4: coming from, and maybe they're just like an income level.
- 48:07Speaker 4: I can't process, right, you know.
- 48:09Speaker 3: Well, I don't know, and maybe you know, maybe it
- 48:11Speaker 3: is what is average if you spend on one kid,
- 48:14Speaker 3: what is the average?
- 48:14Speaker 1: I don't know the average.
- 48:15Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 48:16Speaker 5: I mean I think it's different for everybody. Some people
- 48:18Speaker 5: can afford to spend fifty bucks and some can afford
- 48:21Speaker 5: to spend five hundred.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Right.
- 48:22Speaker 6: I go old school and just tell hey, pick out
- 48:24Speaker 6: one thing that you really really want, and then I
- 48:27Speaker 6: try to work hard to get that. That's what that's
- 48:29Speaker 6: that's that's what I say with my kids. I'm not
- 48:31Speaker 6: fixed to get you a laundry list of everything. Even
- 48:35Speaker 6: if I had the money, I still not gonna do.
- 48:37Speaker 3: It, right, I think, right, I think it's important too,
- 48:39Speaker 3: and there's nothing wrong with that.
- 48:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, this is an excessively long list of
- 48:43Speaker 5: expensive items. Like we tell my son his his letter
- 48:46Speaker 5: to Santa. I think he thought on his own, like
- 48:48Speaker 5: five things, you know, five.
- 48:50Speaker 4: Things that he wants, and you may not get them all.
- 48:53Speaker 4: You know, Santa's busy.
- 48:54Speaker 1: It is what it is, by the way, stuff of
- 48:55Speaker 1: us yesterday ends of your son.
- 48:57Speaker 3: He came out and I ran in there to get
- 48:59Speaker 3: him to you know, hot wheels that he like, monster
- 49:02Speaker 3: trucks that he really wanted.
- 49:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and I was going to give him to you,
- 49:05Speaker 1: but you were taking forever.
- 49:06Speaker 4: Well, I know, I get stuck and Enzo.
- 49:08Speaker 3: Comes on the bus and he and I move and
- 49:10Speaker 3: he sees the bag and he goes, oh, somebody got
- 49:13Speaker 3: monster trucks. Oh that's your Christmas gift. And he goes,
- 49:18Speaker 3: oh thanks, Billy him out and he was so.
- 49:21Speaker 4: Appreciative trucks, so fast to show me. He's just like, oh,
- 49:26Speaker 4: they slept in his bed last night. Heads up, Oh
- 49:28Speaker 4: good good.
- 49:29Speaker 3: But my point is if you don't, if these kids
- 49:32Speaker 3: don't appreciate, if this eleven year old girl appreciates the
- 49:35Speaker 3: things that she's getting and she knows that she is
- 49:38Speaker 3: not a normal situation, then okay, maybe you spend a
- 49:42Speaker 3: little more. When I spend five grand, No, would I
- 49:44Speaker 3: spend a little more and spoil an only child?
- 49:46Speaker 1: Yeah? Because I do? I mean I do.
- 49:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it's hard not to.
- 49:49Speaker 1: It's hard not to.
- 49:50Speaker 4: I mean five grand.
- 49:52Speaker 5: We're definitely not spending anywhere close to that.
- 49:54Speaker 3: I wonder what I always think about this, Like what
- 49:56Speaker 3: does Mark Cuban do? Like you know, I mean you're
- 49:59Speaker 3: talking a billionaire. I wonder how much he spends on
- 50:01Speaker 3: his kids.
- 50:02Speaker 5: Right, At what point is a person like financially responsible
- 50:06Speaker 5: and saying, you know, that's too much for me to
- 50:08Speaker 5: teach my kids. Yes we have it, but no, I'm
- 50:10Speaker 5: not going to give them more more.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Like Jerry Jones, how much do you think he spends?
- 50:13Speaker 4: Right, I don't know. I mean he can give his
- 50:15Speaker 4: kids a car. Yeah, you know for Christmas, he.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Could give his kids a ject, right, yeah, do anything,
- 50:20Speaker 1: But I bet.
- 50:20Speaker 3: You any money. Mark Cuban is very reasonable. I bet
- 50:24Speaker 3: you he's like no because you know why, he knows
- 50:26Speaker 3: what it feels like to have nothing. Yeah, and I
- 50:29Speaker 3: think that's an important feeling, even if you never experienced that,
- 50:32Speaker 3: you never.
- 50:33Speaker 1: Had to experience it.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Sure, it's important to show your kids that there's people
- 50:37Speaker 3: out here with nothing, so appreciate what you have.
- 50:40Speaker 1: That's what I think.
- 50:42Speaker 3: And then it's mixed one of two point nine Good
- 50:44Speaker 3: morning and Bailly the kid can of slow Pants producer, pooh,
- 50:47Speaker 3: we're just coming off stuff of Bus. So I apologize
- 50:49Speaker 3: that I lost my voice, but thank you for showing
- 50:52Speaker 3: up for stuff a bus.
- 50:53Speaker 1: We broke our record.
- 50:54Speaker 3: We filled three buses, so thank you Garland, Saxy. I mean,
- 51:00Speaker 3: people came from McKinney, Allen Plan Gainesville, so when he
- 51:05Speaker 3: came from Gainesville, Yes, yes it was. It was just incredible,
- 51:10Speaker 3: so thank you. So when I got this message, I'm like,
- 51:12Speaker 3: I must have missed it. I don't even know when
- 51:14Speaker 3: it came in either way, can I read you this? Yeah,
- 51:17Speaker 3: we're getting blamed for something that happened in South Lake.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Okay, so I guess it happened.
- 51:23Speaker 3: I don't even know, So I guess apparently somebody and
- 51:26Speaker 3: this happened sometime over the weekend put soap in the
- 51:31Speaker 3: fountain at south Lake town Square, right, Well?
- 51:38Speaker 1: Or is it?
- 51:39Speaker 3: No?
- 51:40Speaker 1: I would say it's not our fault.
- 51:41Speaker 5: Obviously, it's sorry if we were clearly in Garland this weekend.
- 51:45Speaker 3: And I guess because this this message, and I'm gonna
- 51:48Speaker 3: only read some of it because it's long, but I
- 51:49Speaker 3: guess this message. I had to put the pieces together
- 51:52Speaker 3: because I was really confused. Why was my fault that
- 51:54Speaker 3: this happened in South Lake? And let me know if
- 51:57Speaker 3: it did happen, because I don't even know if it happened.
- 52:00Speaker 3: It must have though, because she's very mad and says
- 52:03Speaker 3: it's our fault because we had a dirty little secret
- 52:06Speaker 3: where the guy admitted that he did this in high
- 52:09Speaker 3: school and he put soap in the fountain at south
- 52:12Speaker 3: Lake town Square. He you know, made it all sudsy
- 52:15Speaker 3: and soapy, and somebody actually got hurt, like a guy
- 52:19Speaker 3: walked by, slipped fat, hurt himself.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 52:23Speaker 3: But let me read you this message that we got
- 52:26Speaker 3: because wow, geez yeah, let me play this because this
- 52:29Speaker 3: is our mean messages music.
- 52:31Speaker 1: You know what. We haven't done mean messages in a while, so.
- 52:35Speaker 3: And guess what, I know that not every message is
- 52:37Speaker 3: going to be like we love you guys so much.
- 52:40Speaker 3: And all shows get these kind of messages, they just
- 52:43Speaker 3: don't read them.
- 52:45Speaker 1: And Cannon sometimes hates that I read the stuff.
- 52:48Speaker 5: It's just a lot I liked.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I do too, and we say, but it's also real.
- 52:55Speaker 3: This is real life stuff. She says, Well, I hope
- 52:58Speaker 3: you're happy. This is exactly why I stopped listening to you,
- 53:03Speaker 3: because you're irresponsible with your broadcast.
- 53:08Speaker 1: I'm sure you saw it.
- 53:09Speaker 3: But somebody put soap in the south Lake town Square fountain,
- 53:13Speaker 3: and I bet you any money I know where that
- 53:15Speaker 3: idea came from, from your filthy show. Wait, filthy.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Oh, we are filthy in our own ways.
- 53:26Speaker 4: But no, that's a lot.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Your filthy show.
- 53:31Speaker 3: She said, why don't you talk about doing this in
- 53:36Speaker 3: some other low brow community?
- 53:38Speaker 4: What low brow? Wow?
- 53:42Speaker 3: Okay, what okay, Okay, we're better than these childish, immature
- 53:49Speaker 3: poverty pranks.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Keep that out of my town.
- 53:53Speaker 4: Poverty.
- 53:54Speaker 1: That's a wild way of describing You're lucky.
- 53:58Speaker 3: I don't start a petition to get your show kicked
- 54:01Speaker 3: off the air, because, trust me, I know a lot
- 54:05Speaker 3: of high powered people.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Oh, start being more responsible.
- 54:11Speaker 3: I'm not going to read her email, but I will say,
- 54:14Speaker 3: by the way her email looks, her name is Helen,
- 54:18Speaker 3: so Helen in south Lake. I'm sorry I let you down.
- 54:21Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I'm so filthy. Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm so
- 54:25Speaker 3: low brow. I love that I was called low brow
- 54:29Speaker 3: the low brow community.
- 54:31Speaker 1: It wasn't me that did the prank.
- 54:32Speaker 3: No, it was a dirty little secret where the guy
- 54:35Speaker 3: called up and said he did it. I had nothing
- 54:38Speaker 3: to do with putting soap. But I've done stupid stuff
- 54:41Speaker 3: in my life.
- 54:41Speaker 4: And wasn't it on the news or something? Yes, yes,
- 54:44Speaker 4: everybody heard about it.
- 54:45Speaker 5: Then it's like we just like told everyone this happened
- 54:48Speaker 5: and gave the idea I.
- 54:49Speaker 3: Always get blamed for this stuff. It happened to Stuff
- 54:52Speaker 3: of Us over the weekend. I was inside getting some
- 54:55Speaker 3: toys with the Dallas Renegades and Zan was outside our
- 54:58Speaker 3: boss and somebody came to the table and wanted to
- 55:01Speaker 3: fight her. Oh, because they were mad at me. And
- 55:04Speaker 3: guess why. This guy was mad at me. He by
- 55:08Speaker 3: the way, he still brought toys, but then he flipped
- 55:11Speaker 3: her off and said this is for Billy the kid.
- 55:13Speaker 4: No, yeah, why And.
- 55:15Speaker 3: I was like, she goes and she texted me and
- 55:17Speaker 3: said stay inside. There's some guy out here that hates you.
- 55:20Speaker 3: I said, what happened. He was mad because he said that.
- 55:24Speaker 3: I went on the air and said Garland wasn't going
- 55:26Speaker 3: to show up for Stuff of Us.
- 55:29Speaker 1: What we said, That's not what I said. I said.
- 55:32Speaker 3: I had people tell me not to do it in
- 55:35Speaker 3: Garland because they wouldn't show up.
- 55:37Speaker 1: I was the one. Cannice and Pooh we were like.
- 55:40Speaker 4: We knew Garland would show up.
- 55:42Speaker 3: I said, I want to do it in Garland. I
- 55:43Speaker 3: think they will show up. So I was I had
- 55:45Speaker 3: Garland's back for once.
- 55:47Speaker 5: Yeah all right, Yeah, I am the Garland girls.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Yes, Mesquite showed up.
- 55:53Speaker 3: You know, I picked on because I love Mesquite, right,
- 55:56Speaker 3: so this guy wanted to fight me and I don't
- 56:00Speaker 3: even the one who said that.
- 56:01Speaker 4: Yeah, so we never said that. Why would we say that?
- 56:03Speaker 4: That's crazy?
- 56:04Speaker 3: And Garland did show up. So Helen, I'm sorry. Bottom
- 56:07Speaker 3: line is Helen, I'm sorry. I let you down. I'm sorry.
- 56:12Speaker 3: I'm low brown.
- 56:13Speaker 4: It was very filthy billy.
- 56:14Speaker 3: I'm a filthy, filthy billy, filthy little billy billy, the filthy.
- 56:20Speaker 1: No, I'm sorry I let you down. Let me go up,
- 56:23Speaker 1: Let me go.
- 56:24Speaker 3: As soon as I get done with the show, I'm
- 56:26Speaker 3: gonna go to South ak and start cleaning up.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what, let me get this, let me
- 56:30Speaker 1: get sure who you want to go? No, want to go?
- 56:34Speaker 4: It's kind of nice over there.
- 56:35Speaker 3: Yeah, figure out some good shopping.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Why not
