Today’s Gospel recounts two remarkable miracles. On his way to visit the house of Jairus, Jesus feels a woman touch his cloak and be healed as the power rushes out of him. Upon finding the woman he tells her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you.” Jesus is then told that Jairus’ daughter has died but tells the family to not be afraid, just have faith. Sr. Ann has more thoughts on trusting in Jesus:

2 Samuel 18:9-10, 14b, 24-25a, 30–19:3

Psalm 86:1-2, 3-4, 5-6

Mark 5:21-43
