Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / July 23 Testimony Looms for Jes Staley in Epstein Oversight Probe (6/3/26)
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. Jess Staley is going to appear before the
- 0:09House Oversight Committee on July twenty third, and considering how
- 0:13tight Jeffrey Epstein and Jess Staley were, I would think
- 0:18that he'd have some very interesting things to say about
- 0:21that relationship, especially considering that Jess Staley has admitted admitted
- 0:27himself by the way, that he had so called consensual
- 0:30relations with one of Epstein's assistants. So which one was it,
- 0:35And if it was Nadia or Sarah Kellen Vickers, which
- 0:38I suspected was one of them, then that would mean
- 0:42that Jess Staley had relations with the traffic girl. Whether
- 0:47those women were involved in the abuse or not, they
- 0:51were also being trafficked. And two things can be true
- 0:54at the same time, right, And if you're Jess Staley,
- 0:58this is really bad news. I mean, what's his defense
- 1:01going to be. I had no idea she was being trafficked.
- 1:03My friend just brought me a girl, and I decided
- 1:06that I was going to hop in bed with her.
- 1:08What does that even mean? Like? How do you defend yourself?
- 1:12And when it comes to Jess Staley, I just don't
- 1:14think that there's any explanation for why he did what
- 1:18he did, and that's not alleged. By the way, Jess
- 1:22Staley has admitted that he had relations consensual, he says,
- 1:27with one of Epstein's assistants, So that opens up a
- 1:30whole less other conversation, right, And to the morons out
- 1:33there that want to say Epstein never traffick girls to
- 1:36anybody else, please do everybody a favor and take a
- 1:39seat all the way in the back. This article was
- 1:42published by CNBC and the headline. Former Barclay CEO Jess
- 1:46Staley agrees to July twenty third interview about Jeffrey Epstein
- 1:50by oversight panel. This article was authored by Dan Mangen.
- 1:54Jess Staley, the former JP Morgan Chase executive, an ex
- 1:58Barclay CEO, has agreed to be interviewed on about his
- 2:01relationship with notorious ex offender Jeffrey Epstein on July twenty
- 2:06third by the House Oversight and Government Reforms Committee. A
- 2:09spokesman for the panel confirmed on Sunday, and this is
- 2:13going to be a significant testimony. As you all know,
- 2:18I believe that the financial sector is the actual boogeyman here.
- 2:22And I think that people like Staley are almost as
- 2:25responsible for what Epstein did as Epstein himself. When you
- 2:31have that kind of power, that kind of ability to
- 2:34move money, you have to take your job seriously. And
- 2:39if you're a banker and you know that somebody's already
- 2:41been hemmed up for what Epstein got hemmed up for,
- 2:44why are you getting into business with him? And then
- 2:47after the fact, don't come to me and tell me
- 2:49you had no idea, because that makes you look even
- 2:52dumber then you look now. And boy, Jeff Staley might
- 2:57as well be wearing that dunce hat. The Financial Times
- 3:03first reported that Staley accepted the invitation for a voluntary
- 3:06transcribed interview extended to him three weeks ago by Oversight
- 3:10chairman James the Gomer comer donald Trump's water boy, Donald
- 3:15Trump's errand boy certainly not working on behalf of the
- 3:18American people. I mean, if he was really working for
- 3:21the American people, this whole entire committee would have been
- 3:25very different, and it would have had teeth. And literally
- 3:28every single person that's been deposed by them has lied
- 3:31to them and nothing's happened, No repercussions no ramifications, nobody
- 3:37being held accountable, and why would they be, especially considering
- 3:42that the vast majority of people that pretend they care
- 3:45here are only saying that because they know you care.
- 3:48So yeah, I question the motivation when it comes to
- 3:52Congress and the members of this committee. The Oversight Panel
- 3:56has been conducting a series of interviews with high profile
- 3:59people about Epstein, including former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary
- 4:04of State Hillary Clinton, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. All
- 4:08of them lied, every last one of them. But it's
- 4:11no big deal because it's all about the performance. It's
- 4:14not about the results. All they care about is showing you, hey,
- 4:17look we're doing something. They're trying to appease you. They're
- 4:22not trying to get to the bottom of this, certainly
- 4:24not James Comer. And on the other side, all we
- 4:28get is Trump, Trump, Trump all day, every day and
- 4:31now look, like I've told you a million times, Trump
- 4:33is a gigantic part of the story, especially right now,
- 4:37But when it comes to how the machine worked and
- 4:40who protected it, it goes much deeper than Trump, and
- 4:43I think people need to separate the two. And I
- 4:46think that if you want the right results, you're gonna
- 4:48have to take the path that has the most evidence,
- 4:51and for me, it's clearly the cover up. And if
- 4:55you nail people for the cover up, then you're gonna
- 4:57get them for the other stuff too. But I know
- 5:00that's not salacious enough for a lot of people out there.
- 5:03They'd rather talk about cannibals and the occult, and I
- 5:06get it, that makes a better story, But I think
- 5:09a lot of people forgot that this isn't about creating
- 5:11a story. It's about getting to the bottom of what happened,
- 5:15and getting to the bottom of a criminal enterprise like
- 5:18Jeffrey Epstein's takes actual work. It's not just one or
- 5:22two allegations they're going to be able to defend themselves
- 5:25against that. It's when you get digging into the paper trail,
- 5:28when you start digging into the record, when you start
- 5:31wondering why Leon Black one hundred and sixty million dollars,
- 5:35that's when it starts getting a bit dangerous for them.
- 5:38And of course that's what they can have. So that's
- 5:41why they steer the conversation towards the most salacious nonsense.
- 5:44And that's because they know they can bundle that all
- 5:47and call it a hoax, and once they panted a hoax,
- 5:50forget it. And you see the result. All these people
- 5:52out here who used to believe that Epstein was literally
- 5:55doing everything he's doing, well, now they don't believe that
- 5:59anymore because Donald Trump called it a hoax. And then
- 6:02people started talking about you know, cannibalism and the occult,
- 6:05all this other stuff, and people are like, yeah, obviously
- 6:09a hoax, nothing more than satanic panic, same kind of nonsense.
- 6:13Why are we wasting our time on this? And that
- 6:16was all part of the cover up, all part of
- 6:18the sy op. And I recognize that shit right from
- 6:20Jump Street, and that's why I've been screaming from the
- 6:23rooftops not to fall for it. Unfortunately, a lot of
- 6:26people want to fall for it. And that's because a
- 6:28lot of people have their whole entire identity wrapped up
- 6:31in their political party, which is just crazy and the
- 6:35whole other conversation for a whole other time. Former Attorney
- 6:40General Pam Bondi was interviewed by the committee on Friday
- 6:43about the Department of Justice handling of the release of
- 6:46its files about Epstein. That went nowhere, wasted time, just
- 6:50like everybody else, come on it wasn't my fault. Todd
- 6:54Blanche was in charge of that. That's the kind of
- 6:56shit we got from BONDI allegedly. We haven't seen the
- 6:59transcripts yet, but you know that's what they were reporting.
- 7:03Microsoft co founder Bill Gates is scheduled to be interviewed
- 7:07by the Oversight Committee on June tenth about his dealings
- 7:10with Epstein. Another guy that's gonna get up there and lie, ah, look,
- 7:14I was blackmailed. Jeffrey Epstein lied to me. He told
- 7:18me you was something that he wasn't. Meanwhile, Jeffrey Epstein
- 7:21was already convicted by the time that Bill Gates was
- 7:24over at his house. And Bill Gates, let's not forget
- 7:28your own wife knew it was a bad idea. And
- 7:31all the married men out there, you already know where
- 7:34I'm going with this. Billionaire Leon Black is reportedly scheduled
- 7:39to be interviewed by the panel on June twenty six,
- 7:42and Golodbin Sachs General counsel Katherine Rumler is reportedly scheduled
- 7:47to be interviewed on July fifteenth. They're touching all them bases. Huh.
- 7:53The problem is what's come of it? No, no, investigations.
- 7:57Nobody on the dock, nobody coming out and saying hold up,
- 8:01we need the FBI to review this information. And unfortunately
- 8:06it's all by design. And if it wasn't for that
- 8:09discharge petition forget it, they would have buried this so
- 8:13deep that nobody would have ever found any remnants of it.
- 8:19Staley was a friend of Epstein, who had been a
- 8:21major client of JP Morgan's private wealth and asset management
- 8:24division when Staley ran them. Epstein, a former friend of
- 8:28President Donald Trump, died from a jailhouse suicide allegedly in
- 8:32New York in August of twenty nineteen, weeks after being
- 8:36arrested on federal sex trafficking charges. Well, yeah, he was
- 8:40a friend of Trump, but a friend of a lot
- 8:42of people, and that's the kind of shit that turns
- 8:44people off when they're following the story. And this is
- 8:48why I was telling you from the beginning. It needs
- 8:50to be all of us together against these people, and
- 8:53if not forget it, we have no chance. And unfortunately,
- 8:56people would rather fight over bullshit wedge issues then actually
- 9:00get together and hold these people accountable. And until that changes,
- 9:04we're just going to be in the same place we've
- 9:06always been, and our tires are going to be spinning
- 9:10while we're in neutral. J P. Morgan in twenty twenty
- 9:16three agreed to pay victims of Epstein two hundred ninety
- 9:19million to settle a lawsuit that the bank had facilitated
- 9:22sex trafficking by Epstein, who was a client of J. P. Morgan.
- 9:27That same year, the bank agreed to pay seventy five
- 9:29million to settle a similar lawsuit by the government of
- 9:32the US Virgin Islands, and separately agreed to a confidential
- 9:36settlement with Daily to resolve the bank's claims that he
- 9:39was responsible for any civil damages and costs associated with
- 9:43Epstein related litigation. Everybody was getting paid hand over fist,
- 9:49except the survivors. Keep that in mind when people are
- 9:52out here telling you they're chasing a bag. The vast
- 9:55majority of these women got less than a million dollars. Now,
- 10:01I know a million dollars sounds like a lot of money,
- 10:03but in the grand scheme of things, is it if
- 10:07you've had these repressed feelings, if you've been abused back
- 10:11in say ninety four, ninety five, ninety six, whatever, and
- 10:14you've been carrying this with you, that whole time. Is
- 10:18a million dollars enough, especially considering the US Virgin Islands
- 10:22themselves walked away with over two hundred million. Please somebody
- 10:27explain that to me. In both public settlements, JP Morgan
- 10:32did not admit wrongdoing in its dealings with Epstein. No,
- 10:36not at all, just paying out hundreds of millions because
- 10:39you know that's what they do. Staley served the CEO
- 10:46of Barclays from October twenty fifteen until his resignation in
- 10:49late twenty twenty one. His departure came after a pro
- 10:53by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority and how he characterized
- 10:57his relationship with Epstein to Barclays and the subsequent description
- 11:02of that relationship in Barclay's response to the FCA. That
- 11:06regulator finds Staley more than two million and permanently abanned
- 11:09them from holding a management role in the sector in
- 11:12twenty twenty three. But Staley had no idea what was
- 11:15going on, folks, none, just another guy that was manipulated
- 11:20by the all knowing, all powerful Jeffrey Epstein. Barclays noted
- 11:27at the time that the investigation makes no findings that
- 11:30mister Staley saw or was aware of any of mister
- 11:33Epstein's alleged crimes, which was the central question underpinning Barclay's
- 11:38support for mister Staley. Following the arrest of mister Epstein
- 11:41in the summer of twenty nineteen, Staley said in twenty twenty,
- 11:45obviously I thought I knew him well, and I didn't
- 11:48for sure with hindsight, with what we know now, I
- 11:51deeply regret having any relationship with Jeffrey. Yeah, well, how
- 11:57about the relationship you had with one of his quote
- 11:59unquote assistance. Furthermore, who's beauty and the Beast? And who
- 12:04is snow White? And what else were you doing when
- 12:07you were on that island. Those are just a few
- 12:10of the questions that I have for Jess Staley, and
- 12:12it's going to be real interesting to see how many
- 12:15of those questions are asked and just how hard they
- 12:17go on Jess Staley. All the information that goes with
- 12:22this episode can be found in the description box.
