25 Years Later ROTC Honors 911 | Waco News
This Saturday, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor’s ROTC program will honor 9/11’s 25th anniversary by planting 2,977 American flags at the Luther Memorial — a moving tribute to the nearly 3,000 lives lost and the first responders and service members who sacrificed afterward. The memorial will stand for a full week, inviting the community to reflect and remember. It’s not just a display — it’s a call to action for collective remembrance, with cadets hoping for strong local support. Flags will remain until September 12th.
