SPEAKER_01: Welcome back to Aesthetics Unscripted.
• 0:04
SPEAKER_01: I'm your host, Kim Ladotti, your regenerative aesthetic specialist.
• 0:08
SPEAKER_01: And with us today is Will Love.
• 0:12
SPEAKER_00: So I worked in radio for eight years in top 40 radio.
• 0:16
SPEAKER_00: My DJ name was Will Love, but my real name is Will Lociavo.
• 0:19
SPEAKER_00: But obviously Lo Schiavo doesn't sound that commercial.
• 0:23
SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you so much for joining me today.
• 0:26
SPEAKER_01: And we're gonna break down what you're doing a full day of beauty at IT intelligent treatment, talk about your Soma Cell experience.
• 0:32
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can't wait.
• 0:33
  SPEAKER_01: Yes, absolutely.
• 0:34
SPEAKER_01: But can you share your background?
• 0:37
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
• 0:38
SPEAKER_00: So I started my career working in radio.
• 0:41
SPEAKER_00: I worked in Top 40 radio for a good like eight to nine years.
• 0:46
SPEAKER_00: And then the pandemic came, and during the pandemic, uh half the staff at the broadcasting company I worked for were furloughed.
• 0:54
SPEAKER_00: So I was like, you know, what am I gonna do?
• 0:56
SPEAKER_00: Like, this is the only thing like I know.
• 0:58
SPEAKER_00: So I started a podcast, um, and me and another DJ started working on it, and I've been doing the podcast five years now.
• 1:07
SPEAKER_00: And in addition to that, well, the podcast is Will Love Listen.
• 1:11
SPEAKER_00: Because when I worked in radio, my name was Will Love.
• 1:13
SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, let's just tack on listen and have it be like a play on Live Laugh Love.
• 1:18
SPEAKER_00: And in addition to that, I write for Out in Jersey magazine.
• 1:21
SPEAKER_00: It's the only uh gay publication in New Jersey, but it's distributed in five states uh New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and I'm their entertainment editor.
• 1:32
SPEAKER_00: So I'm always doing things in the entertainment space as well as the beauty space, hence how I came across Kim and Soma Cell, because when they were doing the Soma Cell launch in the first quarter of 2025, I got an invite by Page Six to check out their page six event.
• 1:49
SPEAKER_00: I couldn't attend, but I'm like, you know what, this is good for a future story.
• 1:53
SPEAKER_00: So I reached out to Kim a couple months ago, and yeah, that's when she was like, let's make it happen.
• 1:59
  SPEAKER_00: So here we are.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_01: So Somicell, love at first sight?
• 2:03
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, it really was.
• 2:05
SPEAKER_00: You know, like I'm always doing different cosmetic treatments and trying different things out.
• 2:10
SPEAKER_00: So I've learned to uh equate pain with beauty, and when I heard that this was a painless treatment, I was like, okay, is this bullshit?
• 2:22
  SPEAKER_00: Is this snake oil?
• 2:23
SPEAKER_00: But then I started, you know, going through it.
• 2:25
SPEAKER_00: I did the full series of six, and I've noticed more of an effect than I did doing painful treatments like various forms of ARF microneedling, uh Opus Plasma, and you know, various other things that I've tried that were very painful, where my face would be red for a week, peeling for a week.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_00: So, in terms of what I've done cosmetically, not talking plastic surgery, I did two different forms of RF microneedling.
• 2:58
SPEAKER_00: I did a series of the opus plasma laser and various forms of different tightening facials as well.
• 3:08
SPEAKER_01: We've done things like um laser resurfacing also in the past, correct?
• 3:11
SPEAKER_01: Like a fractionated laser, things like that.
• 3:13
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_00: So, and everything that I just mentioned comes with pain, comes with downtime, comes with your face being noticeably red and or appealing.
• 3:24
SPEAKER_00: So people notice you have something done.
• 3:26
SPEAKER_00: So this is the only thing that I've done that serves the same purpose, which is tightening, contouring, etc., without any downtime.
• 3:39
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 3:40
SPEAKER_01: So you get to lift and tighten without having the pain, and like you said, you don't have to walk around with a freaky face.
• 3:45
SPEAKER_01: So you made me laugh when you said, you know, was it really pain-free?
• 3:50
SPEAKER_01: Is it just blowing smoke?
• 3:52
  SPEAKER_01: Because that's a general question.
• 3:54
SPEAKER_01: We're used to getting beauty treatments or longevity anti-aging treatments where they'll tell you, it's pain-free.
• 4:03
  SPEAKER_01: And then, right?
• 4:03
SPEAKER_01: And then you get there and they're like, Well, it's not exactly pain-free.
• 4:08
SPEAKER_01: And you're like, oh my God, it's not pain-free.
• 4:11
SPEAKER_00: Well, everything that I just mentioned, they were like, Oh, we just put the numbing cream on for like 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and you'll feel nothing.
• 4:18
SPEAKER_00: Well, I did the numbing cream every single time.
• 4:21
SPEAKER_00: And for every treatment in those series of treatments that I did, it was painful.
• 4:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like I was sweating, it was like, oof.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_00: But and you know, I I, you know, went through with it, obviously.
• 4:33
SPEAKER_00: But for the pain and the downtime and everything that you need to sort of dance around that comes along with these treatments, sometimes the results don't match, you know, the pain and the whole protocol.
• 4:45
SPEAKER_00: Whereas it's the opposite with somacil, you know, you there's no preparation, there's no things that you need to be cautious of every little fact.
• 4:51
SPEAKER_00: But yet, like I've noticed contouring.
• 4:54
SPEAKER_01: So, Will, after you had contacted me remembering a somacelle launch, etc., um, what was the reason why you were excited about finding out if soma cell was snake oil or not?
• 5:05
SPEAKER_01: Do you have a story you could share with us?
• 5:07
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_00: So I was always self-conscious growing up of like my nose because my nose had a hump on it, and my lower face because I had chubby cheeks.
• 5:17
SPEAKER_00: So in 2022, after I went through a bad breakup, I got plastic surgery.
• 5:22
SPEAKER_00: So I got buccal fat removal, and I got rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty because it didn't come out right the first time.
• 5:31
SPEAKER_00: So after having done all of that, which was very painful and required an extensive recovery for all three plastic surgery treatments, um, I do a lot of social media work and I get spots and different people reaching out wanting to partner on stuff.
• 5:48
SPEAKER_00: And so this one med spa that I was doing some stuff with at the time wanted to do like facial balancing.
• 5:52
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I was all excited because I'm like, yes, this will be the cherry on top after having gotten buckle fat removal and two nose jobs.
• 6:01
SPEAKER_00: Um, and we did they did filler here, jawline, chin, and some in the cheek area as well.
• 6:10
SPEAKER_00: So it was all over.
• 6:11
SPEAKER_00: Um, and obviously lips, but lips are no big deal.
• 6:15
SPEAKER_00: But it was the facial balancing portion, which is everything except the lips that looked great for the first two weeks, and then I felt like it started to become a little bit of pillow face, and I was like, oh shit, this is gonna destroy the plastic surgery procedures that I got done, and all like the work I put into it, it's like gonna like be not noticeable now because of the whole filler stuff.
• 6:46
SPEAKER_01: Right, you must have been really freaked out.
• 6:48
SPEAKER_01: Did you contact the medswall?
• 6:50
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and because of the podcast that I do, like I'm constantly doing all these Zoom interviews.
• 6:54
SPEAKER_00: So I see my face all the time.
• 6:56
SPEAKER_00: So that's the filler looked great for the first month, and then it just started to kind of look like pillow faced.
• 7:01
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what the hell?
• 7:03
SPEAKER_00: Um, and I got nervous because I felt like it was a double-edged sword because the Joeline filler, I felt like it made my Joline look a bit sharp, but then it made my lower face start to look a little bit chunky.
• 7:14
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, that's why I got bubble vat removal.
• 7:17
SPEAKER_00: So, and I didn't want to dissolve the filler because what many people don't know is when you do hyaluronidase or any form of like filler dissolver, is you also dissolve your body's own hyaluronic acid.
• 7:29
SPEAKER_00: And in lieu of that, you also could get side effects like sunken in areas where it looks like little craters in your face.
• 7:37
SPEAKER_00: And like Terry DeBros talked about it.
• 7:40
SPEAKER_00: Um, some plastic surgeons that I know that are really high up there are not a fan of Hyaluronidays.
• 7:46
SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, I'm just gonna let the filler dissolve naturally, but I also want to find out a way to sculpt it.
• 7:52
SPEAKER_00: And then that's when I remembered the page six invitation to Soma Cell.
• 7:56
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, let me reach out to Kim and see, find out more information.
• 8:00
SPEAKER_00: And from what I learned from you, I was like, this is exactly what I'm looking for.
• 8:05
SPEAKER_00: This is the only thing that could contour your filler, basically.
• 8:09
SPEAKER_00: Um so I started doing so and cell, and I'm like, we're just gonna contour whatever filler is remaining and tightening my whole face.
• 8:18
SPEAKER_00: Um, and I've been so impressed with the results.
• 8:23
SPEAKER_00: I've only done six treatments, now seven, because I'm here for my one-month follow-up, and I felt like it's really tightened the jawline, the chin area.
• 8:31
SPEAKER_00: It's tightened and contoured my lower face, which complemented the buckle fat removal that I had done.
• 8:38
SPEAKER_00: And it tightened, I don't know if I want to say slimmed out my face, but I feel like it contouring is more specific.
• 8:46
SPEAKER_01: Puts the shape back in because your cheeks are not as flattened out as before.
• 8:50
SPEAKER_01: So you have more plump to the apple of your cheek.
• 8:53
SPEAKER_01: Um, what was already cut in, you know, looking very snatched before you had the misplaced filler and the issues with the filler, that all returned.
• 9:02
SPEAKER_01: And you have naturally beautiful arches to your brow, but I feel like we had a good shot at popping them, and we did.
• 9:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and the brows popped too.
• 9:11
SPEAKER_00: So this has been like the holy grail for my current dilemma that I was experiencing last year.
• 9:18
SPEAKER_00: And I just want to say, everyone out there, like, say, like, if you got filler and you don't like the way it looks, so you think, okay, let's just add on to that in specific areas, don't even do that.
• 9:29
SPEAKER_00: Just go to Soma Cell, it'll contour what you already have.
• 9:32
SPEAKER_00: You're gonna partially metabolize the filler anyway, although it doesn't entirely metabolize, as I've learned.
• 9:39
SPEAKER_00: But you could contour it, you could work with it instead of overstuffing your face.
• 9:44
  SPEAKER_01: Right, exactly.
• 9:45
SPEAKER_01: So you can lift and tighten naturally because we're working on connective tissue, which is, you know, that is your foundational layers, and that radiates, that goodness radiates up through your skin layers.
• 9:56
SPEAKER_01: So that's how you get the visual lifting and tightening to your skin, and like you said, the skin contours, but that's all working deep within your skin.
• 10:05
SPEAKER_01: So it works inside out.
• 10:07
SPEAKER_01: And as you mentioned, no downtime because it's not heat.
• 10:10
SPEAKER_01: We're not frying your face, we're not using RF microneedling, it's not another laser, it's not ultrasound, it's not plasma.
• 10:17
SPEAKER_01: None of these things uh are treatments that don't create downtime.
• 10:24
SPEAKER_01: So they're all heat-activated treatments, they create downtime.
• 10:28
SPEAKER_01: And like you said before, uh, depending on how deeply you're receiving these treatments, is going to correlate directly with how much pain management and downtime you have to deal with.
• 10:37
SPEAKER_01: And you being in the media and representative of the clinics that you're going to, of course, we're gonna blast you because we want you to get the deepest treatment, the strongest treatment, so you can be the happiest, see the best results, and then report on it, right?
• 10:51
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
• 10:52
SPEAKER_00: And you know, clearly, given all the things that I've done, I don't mind going big because I that's my motto, go big or go home.
• 10:59
SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, blast it, do it to the top notch, I could I could handle it.
• 11:04
SPEAKER_00: And another thing, speaking of heat-based treatments, is the FDA recently came out with a warning against all these heat-based treatments because of the fact that they melt your own fat.
• 11:15
SPEAKER_00: And so you might be doing it to tighten, but it could simultaneously tighten some areas, but then make you look older in other areas because you're melting your own fat.
• 11:27
  SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
• 11:28
SPEAKER_01: That reminds me, there's a brand new Korean, and you know, I'm half Korean, so I'm not trying to be down on that side of my genetics, but there's a brand new Korean radio frequency device out there that has me completely horrified.
• 11:41
SPEAKER_01: And if I find out you ever try this, I'm gonna come and I'm gonna be sneaking up to your house with like, I don't know, I'm gonna beat you over the head with a baseball bat.
• 11:49
  SPEAKER_00: Is it a four-letter word?
• 11:51
SPEAKER_00: Because is it is the new treatment that it's getting older?
• 11:54
SPEAKER_01: You know exactly what I'm talking about.
• 11:56
SPEAKER_01: It's because they're blitzing the market with this huge marketing um campaign where they're spending millions of dollars to put this in front of everyone.
• 12:05
SPEAKER_01: The thing that horrifies me, and yes, it's a four-letter word.
• 12:08
SPEAKER_01: The thing that horrifies me about this new radio frequency is that radio frequency parameters have not changed.
• 12:15
SPEAKER_01: While they have evolved and the devices have evolved to be technically more safer and deliver that radio frequency in a more specific manner to target the coagulation inside of your skin.
• 12:28
SPEAKER_01: The target temperature in your face to treat for tightening without massive damage is 101 degrees.
• 12:36
SPEAKER_01: Going above 101 degrees, such as 110 degrees minimum, as a target for your body fat and for body contouring, that's fine.
• 12:45
SPEAKER_01: But for your face, you're never ever supposed to go over 101 degrees.
• 12:49
SPEAKER_01: Every top radio frequency in the world teaches you that.
• 12:53
SPEAKER_01: And they usually have fail-safes and gauges and monitors built within the equipment to keep you at that 101 degree target and then give you a warning to move on to the next section.
• 13:03
SPEAKER_01: This one is bragging about triple to quadruple that energy, that heat into your face.
• 13:10
SPEAKER_00: And to avoid confusion, this new form of radio frequency tightening, it's not microneedling, it's a new form of radio frequency tightening.
• 13:18
SPEAKER_00: Um, four-letter word, can't say it, but they are marketing themselves as it being painless.
• 13:26
SPEAKER_00: So I don't want to confuse them with somacil because they're completely different.
• 13:30
SPEAKER_00: Because although this new form of radio frequency tightening may be painless, it still comes with the same risks as you mentioned as regular RF microneedling and things that fall within that cat heat-based category.
• 13:44
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
• 13:44
SPEAKER_01: And the whole T with this is that you know, you go from 101 degree target in your face, now you're triple and quadruple that, you're going up to 400 and something degrees, you're permanently destroying volume in your face, and pain is associated with that because a very famous plastic surgeon on the Upper East Side, their practice manager, happens to come to us for her skincare.
• 14:07
SPEAKER_01: And she went to Korea, South Korea, last month and received this treatment.
• 14:12
SPEAKER_01: And let me tell you something.
• 14:14
SPEAKER_01: She was like, it's no joke, they pain manage.
• 14:17
  SPEAKER_01: It hurts.
• 14:18
SPEAKER_01: Of course it's going to hurt.
• 14:19
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 14:19
SPEAKER_01: Because what happens with microneedling is the microwave, this radio wave goes into your skin and literally microwaves inside your skin.
• 14:29
SPEAKER_01: It heats the tissue from inside out.
• 14:32
SPEAKER_01: It's literally microwaving your face.
• 14:34
SPEAKER_01: Now take that process, which has always been safe when done properly, and you know, takes a series like anything to work with getting you the visual tightening effect.
• 14:45
SPEAKER_01: Take that and quadruple that energy and put 400 and something degrees in your face.
• 14:50
SPEAKER_01: Of course, it's gonna be painful.
• 14:52
SPEAKER_01: And what are you going to look like a few years later, regardless of the age that you receive it at?
• 14:56
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
• 14:57
SPEAKER_01: A few years later, after you damage all those tissues, everything is not only going to be able to sag because you're destroying the elastin, but you're also cooking the bejesus out of your collagen.
• 15:09
SPEAKER_01: So everything's also sinking in.
• 15:10
SPEAKER_01: You're just gonna look so much older, so much faster.
• 15:14
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and no one wants to look old.
• 15:16
SPEAKER_00: And the reason so many celebrities do tend to plateau early on when they start doing these treatments is because they tend to do these mic heat-based microwave face procedures and then top it off with filler.
• 15:33
SPEAKER_00: So you're melting your own fat and then you're adding artificial plumping, and it's and if you keep doing that repeatedly every year, it's not a good look.
• 15:44
SPEAKER_01: Exactly, because you don't have a foundation.
• 15:46
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 15:46
SPEAKER_01: It's like it's like literally um having a soft bucket, right?
• 15:51
SPEAKER_01: And then trying to continue to fill it up with heavy objects like bricks.
• 15:56
SPEAKER_01: So if it's a soft-sided plastic bucket that just keeps buckling and you keep putting filler inside of it, there's no foundation to hold it up.
• 16:04
SPEAKER_01: So this is just a vicious cycle, like you said, of constantly chasing this more youthful looking face when you have nothing to hold things up with.
• 16:13
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 16:13
SPEAKER_01: You have nothing to hold out with.
• 16:15
SPEAKER_00: Because you're destroying your own foundation.
• 16:17
  SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
• 16:18
SPEAKER_00: And as you're destroying your own foundation with all these different heat-based technologies, you're adding artificial foundation, hence filler on top of it.
• 16:27
SPEAKER_00: So it's just bound to collapse and not look good.
• 16:29
SPEAKER_00: And this is no disrespect to any of the people mentioned, but look at all these celebrities.
• 16:35
SPEAKER_00: First of all, what I'm talking about, like, is a lot of the housewives and even look at Jeff Bezos, his wife.
• 16:42
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 16:42
SPEAKER_00: Like one of the richest people on earth, or one of the richest couples on earth, and yet you could still go from looking great to looking like Alien.
• 16:53
SPEAKER_01: The moniker is starting to become like you're get you're you're turn, you know, you're turning Joan Rivers.
• 16:58
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 16:59
SPEAKER_01: You know, like you're getting Joan Rivers.
• 17:01
SPEAKER_01: Meaning, and she always made fun of herself for this.
• 17:04
SPEAKER_01: Um, she was very open and honest about the fact that she was addicted to plastic surgery and um fillers and all these things, and didn't she herself said, I don't know when to stop.
• 17:14
  SPEAKER_01: I love doing it.
• 17:15
SPEAKER_01: And she literally did not look very human in the end, God bless her.
• 17:20
SPEAKER_01: So this is a phenomenon and a syndrome that doesn't just happen to celebrities, but it happens to a lot of people out on the street that can afford to chase the dream of trying to look more youthful, but going about it all the wrong way.
• 17:35
SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I think one of the biggest things that um we both love about Soma Cell is that it is synergistic with the other things that you've tried and the other things that you might want to try.
• 17:45
  SPEAKER_01: So we're not saying don't do heat-based treatments.
• 17:48
  SPEAKER_01: We're not saying don't do it.
• 17:49
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just be like cautious because you really can't turn some of these things around.
• 17:54
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
• 17:55
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
• 17:56
SPEAKER_01: So you want to blend properly and be guided properly and still look like you.
• 18:01
SPEAKER_01: So yes, you want to look like a younger, fresher, you know, snatched like fabulous, right?
• 18:05
SPEAKER_01: We won't want to look fabulous, but is we want to look fabulous, you.
• 18:10
SPEAKER_01: We don't want you to look like a fabulous mask, we don't look want you to look Halloween, right?
• 18:14
SPEAKER_00: The goal should always be you could lie about your age and have it be believable.
• 18:21
SPEAKER_00: And somacell helps that because you're working with existing foundation, you're not like I mentioned, melting it and then adding artificial on top of it.
• 18:30
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 18:30
SPEAKER_00: So, and that should be everyone's goal.
• 18:32
SPEAKER_00: But I think people get addicted and then they try to correct their problems by doing the same thing but in a different way.
• 18:39
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly, exactly.
• 18:40
SPEAKER_01: And then it's a lot of um uh quite often it's med spa hopping, it's injector hopping, it's surgery hopping, and you're getting conflicting information.
• 18:50
SPEAKER_01: So I always say you should find the ones that you can trust and stick with them.
• 18:54
SPEAKER_01: And even if it's a response you don't want to hear, right?
• 18:57
SPEAKER_01: Because if you're like, hey Kim, I want to try this, and I'm like, Will, no, but I don't just tell you no, right?
• 19:02
SPEAKER_01: I tell you no, and I tell you why, and I explain the why, and then I give you the opportunity to make an educated decision from there.
• 19:10
SPEAKER_01: So it becomes a process of the case.
• 19:11
SPEAKER_00: I've been told no before.
• 19:13
SPEAKER_00: Like I the like cosmetically, I wanted to get a third nose job because I have a scar here from the second one, and he's just like, that's too much.
• 19:22
SPEAKER_00: Just like it could like you try to rectify something so tiny, and then you could end up with a larger problem.
• 19:28
  SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, absolutely.
• 19:29
SPEAKER_00: And then you know, your first response is no, I'm gonna get what I want, or at least with me, no, I'm gonna get what I want.
• 19:35
SPEAKER_00: And then I need to process it for a little bit and be like, maybe that's actually the better scenario to like keep on going.
• 19:42
  SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
• 19:42
SPEAKER_01: There's things that we've retailed in the past at my clinic IT intelligent treatment, for example, that were home care devices.
• 19:48
SPEAKER_01: But I actually phased that out because I had a lot of loyal patients that I'd known for many years that would buy, they would purchase these devices, and by their own admittance, they were excited, they would use them religiously, you know, a couple times a week or whatever the instructions were for about two months.
• 20:07
SPEAKER_01: And then they would sit years later in a drawer and never to be touched again.
• 20:12
SPEAKER_01: And they had a drawer full of devices that they had purchased over the years from my from me, from my clinic, and from other, you know, from everywhere else.
• 20:21
SPEAKER_01: So I was like, nope, I'm gonna help you.
• 20:23
  SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna help you.
• 20:25
  SPEAKER_01: We're gonna get into a 10-step withdrawal program for anti-aging.
• 20:29
SPEAKER_01: Like, no, no means no, you cannot have this device.
• 20:32
SPEAKER_01: So I would sell it to patients that I know that would use it, but I would literally be like, no, or we have brand new patients that come in that are like, I loved all the products you used in the clinic.
• 20:44
SPEAKER_01: I want all of them.
• 20:45
SPEAKER_01: And you know, you can see it's it's it's it's like a 12-step process, start to finish, and not everyone needs that.
• 20:52
SPEAKER_01: And when you change out all of your products at the same time, it's a one-way ticket to having your skin freaking out.
• 20:59
SPEAKER_00: So we're because when you start to react, not to interrupt you, but when you start to react, you don't really know what you're reacting to.
• 21:05
SPEAKER_00: Yes, is it the cleanser, is it the serum, the moisturizer, the eye cream, the You don't know.
• 21:09
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
• 21:10
SPEAKER_01: That's the perfect advice, and exactly what I was gonna say, because you can't switch out everything and then expect your skin not to freak out about it.
• 21:18
SPEAKER_01: So you do eliminate the pinpoint, the pinpoint ability, if you will, so we can target what was the product that your skin didn't agree with.
• 21:29
  SPEAKER_01: It's just bad.
• 21:29
SPEAKER_01: So we've shocked a lot of new patients over the years by saying, um, no, what are you running out of?
• 21:35
SPEAKER_01: Um, what can we replace right now?
• 21:37
SPEAKER_01: What resonates with you the most?
• 21:38
SPEAKER_01: What are you not happy with with your home skincare?
• 21:41
SPEAKER_01: And we'll lead you down the road where you've been with us for a couple of months, and as your home products are um needing to be replaced, then we'll replace them one by one.
• 21:53
SPEAKER_01: So some is the same way because we're not trying to eliminate everything else you've done, we're not trying to change.
• 22:00
  SPEAKER_01: Change your face.
• 22:01
SPEAKER_01: We're just trying to roll back the years in an extremely healthy manner where we repair and regenerate.
• 22:08
SPEAKER_01: We do not use heat to damage and destroy.
• 22:11
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
• 22:12
SPEAKER_00: And the thing is, it keeps working.
• 22:16
SPEAKER_00: So that's another thing that I thought was bullshit initially because I'm like, okay, so you're telling me this is painless when everything that I tried, like I mentioned, is painful.
• 22:27
SPEAKER_00: So this is painless and it keeps on working for six months after and tightening.
• 22:32
  SPEAKER_00: I'm like, mmm.
• 22:33
SPEAKER_00: But then once I did it and the series of six and started, you know, waiting a month before my follow-up, I'm like doing interviews all the time.
• 22:41
SPEAKER_00: I'm on Zoom all the time.
• 22:42
SPEAKER_00: And I started looking back at videos that I did before I started Soma Cell and ones that I recorded this week, for example.
• 22:49
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, wow, I see the difference.
• 22:52
SPEAKER_00: First of all, my lower face looks thinner.
• 22:54
SPEAKER_00: I see the contour, my jawline and chin look tighter and more prominent.
• 22:59
SPEAKER_00: Um, my face looks like they were less bulky from the filler.
• 23:04
SPEAKER_00: It looks like I had it dissolved when I really didn't.
• 23:06
SPEAKER_00: I was like, damn, I'm like, Kim was not bullshitting me.
• 23:09
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, this is the real deal.
• 23:13
SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, we always put our money where our mouth is.
• 23:16
SPEAKER_01: Um, it's no joke to us.
• 23:18
SPEAKER_01: I take it very seriously.
• 23:20
SPEAKER_01: All everyone at SOMACL, everyone at IT intelligent treatment, we take our relationships with you seriously because we are in a relationship with you.
• 23:28
SPEAKER_01: I don't know if that sounds corny or not, but you know, when you come to us with your wishes and your wants and the things that upset you about your skin or your face or your body or both, we take that very seriously and we walk this road with you to discover things that maybe we don't even provide, to refer you to places that are excellent at some of those filler treatments.
• 23:54
SPEAKER_01: And I don't mean filler like chemical filler, but some of those treatments that we don't do will help you to, um, if they're the proper ones, to get them from the most reputable offices and then have you back to continue your journey and we stick with you for life.
• 24:09
SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, we love to see you once a month, and uh, we're always going to steer clear of what's gonna harm you.
• 24:16
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 24:16
SPEAKER_01: We're going to keep you based in reality.
• 24:19
SPEAKER_01: So when you're like, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it, we're like, it's like Christmas, okay.
• 24:25
SPEAKER_01: Um, you can get these five or these three, but you can't have those 12.
• 24:29
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 24:30
SPEAKER_01: And we're gonna explain why, right?
• 24:31
SPEAKER_01: And we're gonna work together to cut the list down to what really resonates the most with what you want and what you need at the same time.
• 24:39
SPEAKER_01: And the beauty of it is um to not sound like a commercial, but somacelle does sit right in the middle of that road where filler and um Botox, neurotoxin, surgery, cryofasual, hydrophilic, microneedling, peels, like you can blend all of these things with somacelle.
• 24:58
SPEAKER_01: And I think for all of us in a busy world, that's the most important thing because as you said, you see the results, you're seeing now that a little bit of time has gone by, the results do evolve and keep getting better.
• 25:10
SPEAKER_01: But you just love the sense that um, or am I, would love be the right word?
• 25:16
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 25:16
SPEAKER_01: Well love, because you love the fact that you can just fit this into your life and just go right back to your life.
• 25:20
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and there's like other benefits that I didn't even think of initially.
• 25:24
SPEAKER_00: So lymphatic drainage, that word gets that those two words get passed around a lot, and I always think it's a crack of bullshit, too.
• 25:32
SPEAKER_00: But there is heavy lymphatic drainage that comes with this treatment, and I noticed it.
• 25:38
SPEAKER_00: So I've been doing so much so on my face, my neck, and declete area.
• 25:43
SPEAKER_00: And what I noticed is I felt like my chest looks tighter.
• 25:48
SPEAKER_00: And I've not been at the gym because I have too much stuff going on between like the podcast on iHeart, between uh out in Jersey magazine, the Will of Listen podcast, and the work I do for CNBC.
• 25:57
SPEAKER_00: I have not been working out at all.
• 25:58
SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, how did my chest get tighter?
• 26:01
SPEAKER_00: And I was talking to Monica, the esthetician, and she was telling me that's the lymphatic drainage portion taking effect.
• 26:08
  SPEAKER_01: Yes, exactly.
• 26:08
SPEAKER_00: So Monica So the tightening does travel, literally.
• 26:11
  SPEAKER_01: Right, exactly.
• 26:12
SPEAKER_01: So Monica and Melanie, um, all of our staff at IT Intelligent Treatment and Thomas Cell can help everyone understand that lymphatic drainage is a real thing.
• 26:20
SPEAKER_01: It's uh manual lymphatic drainage is extremely popular post-surgery to help with recovery, to literally help to stimulate your lymph into removing toxins from your system.
• 26:31
SPEAKER_01: So there are different ways you can do that uh with machine assistance.
• 26:35
SPEAKER_01: And um, as you know, we never do like cupping with dragging because that could just stretch and destroy elastin.
• 26:42
SPEAKER_01: It could also damage the delicate vessels in your face.
• 26:46
SPEAKER_01: So um our method keeps you looking gorgeous without giving you extra downtime because, like you said, we're trying not to blow smoke and give you bullshit, right?
• 26:55
SPEAKER_01: It's like it literally is no downtime.
• 26:58
SPEAKER_01: Like literally, and you're like, yeah, right.
• 27:00
SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, no, really, and you're like, yeah, mm-hmm.
• 27:02
SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, no, promise, I swear.
• 27:05
SPEAKER_01: Like, I'll challenge you, I'll throw down the gauntlet.
• 27:07
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 27:08
SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you, you can go right to hair and makeup afterwards and jump right on TV or your own pod or your own Instagram, whatever it is.
• 27:15
SPEAKER_01: I will throw down that gauntlet for you to pick up.
• 27:18
  SPEAKER_01: You can do it.
• 27:18
SPEAKER_01: You can go straight from the treatment bed to the makeup chair and right onto screen afterwards.
• 27:24
  SPEAKER_01: No worries.
• 27:25
  SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, it's true.
• 27:26
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 27:26
SPEAKER_01: So, uh, what kind of advice would you give?
• 27:29
SPEAKER_01: Um, let's just say the younger patients.
• 27:31
SPEAKER_01: So everybody, I think, when they hear longevity, they hear anti-aging, they're like, yeah, great.
• 27:36
SPEAKER_01: So that's like they think they're buzzwords.
• 27:38
SPEAKER_01: Right, but it's they also think like 40s and up, right?
• 27:41
SPEAKER_01: But now we're in this new generation of prevention.
• 27:43
SPEAKER_00: I think they did up until recently.
• 27:45
SPEAKER_01: Yes, now we're in a new generation of prevention.
• 27:47
SPEAKER_01: So, you know, we know soma cell works for your older patients.
• 27:52
SPEAKER_01: And what can you tell them about the younger patients?
• 27:54
SPEAKER_01: What kind of advice would you give?
• 27:56
SPEAKER_00: Well, using my story as an example, um, it it definitely works.
• 28:00
SPEAKER_00: It works more, well, it worked more than I initially anticipated.
• 28:04
SPEAKER_00: So now I'm a Soma cell lifer and I'll be doing this on the regular.
• 28:07
SPEAKER_00: But I will say like to younger patients and other patients that are like in 20s, 30s, that this works.
• 28:15
SPEAKER_00: So I would opt to try this before you do anything like radio frequency or that's skin damaging, like certain lasers and certain fillers, honestly.
• 28:29
SPEAKER_00: I would try this, couple it with Botox or whatever neurotoxin you prefer.
• 28:34
SPEAKER_00: And I think you'll probably like that than if you were to go like the filler and radio frequency route.
• 28:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's a that's great advice because there is a time and a place for every um device treatment depending on your ethnicity, depending on your skin condition, but depending on your um your connective tissue conditioning, depending on where you're what your goal is.
• 28:59
SPEAKER_01: But we are now in an era where the future is now.
• 29:03
SPEAKER_01: And I know that's that's like a corny way to say it because it's been beaten to death.
• 29:08
  SPEAKER_01: However, it is true.
• 29:09
SPEAKER_01: The future is now, and somacelle is testament to that because this is the first time for non-surgical facelifting, we have something that is completely non-dermal wounding, it's completely not heat.
• 29:22
SPEAKER_01: So it's legitimately clinically proven, worldwide by the way, clinically proven to repair and regenerate.
• 29:29
SPEAKER_01: Again, we're not damaging, it's repair and regeneration.
• 29:32
SPEAKER_01: So, your younger patients for prevention, this is perfect for them.
• 29:36
SPEAKER_01: And then for everybody else that does need an extra, you know, reversal in that repair area, then this is perfect for them.
• 29:44
SPEAKER_01: So, you know, it's been great to have you here and sharing all your insight and sharing your story.
• 29:50
SPEAKER_01: So I'm so happy that your face looks so gorgeous after you know you were so afraid of what happened with your pillow face.
• 29:58
SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, it was starting to look like that.
• 30:00
SPEAKER_00: And I really didn't do that much.
• 30:02
SPEAKER_00: And I remember I'll never forget, I was doing an interview with the great astrologer Susan Miller.
• 30:06
SPEAKER_00: Shout out to her, and this was in the full, and I was like, my face, I was looking at back, I was comparing it to ones that I recorded earlier in the year, and I was like, it looks like what I went through surgery to get the puffiness out, and now it looks like it's coming back.
• 30:22
SPEAKER_01: You must have been so upset when you were noticing that.
• 30:24
  SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah.
• 30:25
SPEAKER_00: Um, I was freaking out.
• 30:27
SPEAKER_00: Um, but Soma Cell has really corrected that.
• 30:30
SPEAKER_00: And that's why I would tell other, especially other young patients, like you mentioned in your 20s or 30s, that like do this before you try plumping your face up with or melting your face.
• 30:45
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 30:45
SPEAKER_01: Or artificial plumping, I mean, it is getting a bed wrap for a reason.
• 30:49
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 30:49
SPEAKER_01: Even the best injectors, whether they're doctors or nurses all around the world, will tell you in your consultation, no matter how great of an injector, bruising might occur.
• 30:59
SPEAKER_01: No matter how great of an injector, migration might occur.
• 31:02
SPEAKER_01: There are other side effects that might occur, and they'll walk you through that list, not just tell you, oh, this is gonna be great.
• 31:09
SPEAKER_01: We're gonna plump you up, we're gonna do this, we're gonna do this, we're gonna put all these units in, we're gonna balance it, you're gonna be insane, it's gonna look amazing, right?
• 31:16
SPEAKER_01: That's not what you want to hear.
• 31:18
SPEAKER_01: You wanna hear how it can make you look great and how it can't, and the things that can go wrong, because that's a reality.
• 31:24
SPEAKER_01: And unfortunately with filler, especially lately, because there's so many injectors for every square mile, yeah, every square mile across this country, there's like it seems like a million injectors.
• 31:34
SPEAKER_01: So um, when you know that even the best injector can have complications and asymmetry and other issues with lumpy bumpiness or whatever it is, migration, et cetera.
• 31:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, asymmetry, that's really common.
• 31:46
  SPEAKER_01: Right, exactly.
• 31:47
SPEAKER_01: So when you know that can happen to the best injector, you need to pause.
• 31:50
SPEAKER_01: You know, you can't be like bargain hunting looking for some kind of a coupon for an injection.
• 31:57
SPEAKER_01: And as you said, and I'm gonna go.
• 32:00
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know.
• 32:02
SPEAKER_01: It's it's really scary, legitimately scary when um I see what has been listed on some of these coupon sites.
• 32:08
SPEAKER_01: But that's not the route you want to go.
• 32:10
SPEAKER_01: You definitely should start at step one, repair and regeneration, and then if necessary, then you build and you incorporate other things into your program and you switch it up, and it keeps your skin happy, keeps your connected tissue happy, your body's happy, and you're insanely happy because when you look in the mirror, you know you look great.
• 32:31
SPEAKER_01: And that look great, feel great thing became a moniker for a reason, right?
• 32:35
  SPEAKER_01: Because it's true.
• 32:36
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 32:36
  SPEAKER_01: So 100%.
• 32:37
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 32:38
SPEAKER_01: So when you're not damaging, you can be proud of how you look, and you're still gonna look like you.
• 32:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I think this pairs well with things like Botox, for example, or any neurotoxin.
• 32:50
SPEAKER_00: Um, because you're tightening the face, you're contouring it, and then the only remaining thing you may have to worry about is what, some wrinkles, then you just top it off with neurotoxin and bam.
• 33:01
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 33:02
SPEAKER_01: Well, um, especially if you have Which I'm also doing here, by the way.
• 33:06
SPEAKER_01: If you do have pre-existing wrinkles and fine lines on your forehead in particular, like the section of three, which is globella, right?
• 33:14
SPEAKER_01: That's your 11s, your forehead wrinkles, and then your crow's feet area.
• 33:17
SPEAKER_01: So that's three sections, one, two, and then three.
• 33:20
SPEAKER_01: Um, if there's any kind of definition to the damage of that wrinkle, uh, you are not not with radio frequency laser, not with uh somicell, are you going to be able to take a deep wrinkle and then magically erase it?
• 33:36
SPEAKER_01: That's not going to happen.
• 33:37
SPEAKER_01: It's a process that takes many months to potentially years of doing treatment after treatment after treatment, um, chasing the youth and trying to undo those wrinkles.
• 33:49
SPEAKER_01: So when on your forehead, crow's feet, and glabella in particular, when you have deeper wrinkles there, neurotoxin is the easiest way to be able to alleviate that situation.
• 34:00
SPEAKER_01: Because what happens is, as you know, your neurotoxin is going to smooth out that area, and yes, it's temporary.
• 34:07
SPEAKER_01: However, a wrinkle is an indentation into your skin.
• 34:11
SPEAKER_00: That's just going to keep getting deeper.
• 34:13
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 34:13
SPEAKER_01: So, what you want to do is we want to bring that up as even to the surface as possible again, and then soma cell is working deeper connective tissue layers and radiating up through the skin, but now the skin is almost smooth to begin with from the neurotoxin.
• 34:29
SPEAKER_01: So all of that compromised tissue that was in the deep, you know, the bottom of that V is now at the surface, and we can attack that evenly.
• 34:38
SPEAKER_01: So this is how they work beautifully in a pair because we're repairing and regenerating while we're not continually moving those areas, and we're not saying don't freeze your face.
• 34:48
SPEAKER_01: You don't have to have your eyebrows up in your hairline, you don't have to be like this, right?
• 34:52
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you don't have to look crazy, but just smooth it out and help to alleviate a little bit of that movement with the neurotoxin and then let somacelle hit it hard and do its magic, and everything is going to help to regenerate much faster.
• 35:07
SPEAKER_00: And if somacelle is tightening and contouring anyway, if you keep up with it, you're gonna need less neurotoxin anyway.
• 35:14
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
• 35:15
SPEAKER_01: And it also um there's a big complaint nowadays that neurotoxins are wearing off so fast.
• 35:20
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 35:21
SPEAKER_01: And people have been complaining about um all of the different neurotoxin brands and especially tossing around the Botox name.
• 35:28
  SPEAKER_01: What's going on?
• 35:29
  SPEAKER_01: My Botox isn't working.
• 35:31
  SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm one.
• 35:31
SPEAKER_00: I can tell you a story straight up.
• 35:33
SPEAKER_00: So the first two times I ever got Botox, they were by really successful plastic surgeons.
• 35:39
SPEAKER_00: They weren't by some aesthetician or a nurse practitioner, it was done by the doctor itself.
• 35:44
SPEAKER_00: So the doctor who did my nose, he injected me with Botox, barely any of it took.
• 35:49
SPEAKER_00: We waited like three weeks to a month later, did the same thing, none of it took.
• 35:54
SPEAKER_00: Same thing with the doctor who did my buccal fat removal.
• 35:57
SPEAKER_00: He injected me with Botox, it none of it took.
• 36:00
SPEAKER_00: We waited three to four weeks again, he injected more, none of it took.
• 36:04
SPEAKER_00: And I have come to find that there's five neurotoxins, and of those five, three of them do not work for me at all.
• 36:12
  SPEAKER_00: Botox, dysport, and Juvo.
• 36:15
SPEAKER_00: So I'm stuck with either Daxify or Xeomine.
• 36:18
SPEAKER_01: So Which is shocking because a lot of people will say that Xeamine wears off extremely quickly for them.
• 36:24
SPEAKER_01: So, you know, to each his own, but that's a real thing.
• 36:26
SPEAKER_01: So your body is rejecting the particular neurotoxin from a certain one, certain brand names.
• 36:34
  SPEAKER_00: Three of the five.
• 36:35
SPEAKER_01: Right, but also uh because of post-pandemic boosting to our immune systems.
• 36:42
SPEAKER_01: The stronger your immune system, the more efficient your immune system is working, the faster you will flush out things like neurotoxin.
• 36:50
SPEAKER_01: So the again, the beautiful marriage between somacell and your neurotoxin is that by boosting that regenerative and repairing nature of your connective tissue and your skin, you're actually helping to it to um extend the longevity of your neurotoxin.
• 37:06
SPEAKER_01: It's going it's actually going to last longer, so you need less injections to look smoother, and you're gonna get all the lift and the rest of your face.
• 37:14
  SPEAKER_01: And it's it's like I said, it's a perfect marriage.
• 37:16
  SPEAKER_00: It is, it's perfect.
