Transcript
- 0:00Hey friends welcome today's podcast with our special guest may be one of his
- 0:06last interviews he writes quote at the outset it's important to recognize
- 0:12that what we today call diversity equity and inclusion has always been a
- 0:17social engineering campaign of the gay movement in which radical minorities are
- 0:23merely useful ponds establishing homosexuality as culturally equivalent to
- 0:29race in the civil rights movement in the 1990s they quarterback the national
- 0:34anti-discrimination public policy campaign to stigmatize and criminalize
- 0:39social disapproval of homosexuality using the tactic of building sexual
- 0:44orientation with ripp bundling sexual orientation with race as inseparable
- 0:51legal equivalents coming up the history of DEI in the military that's next
- 1:00welcome to world view matters discussing controversial issues discerning
- 1:06current events defending biblical Christianity no topic off limits and now
- 1:14here's your host David Fierzo well friends you're in for a special treat this
- 1:20man has been fighting on the front lines in the culture wars for many decades
- 1:26and we can learn a lot from his columns and learn a lot from his books and that
- 1:30is author and pastor Scott lively human rights consultant and missionary with
- 1:35service in more than 50 countries is the author of eight books including
- 1:39redeeming the rainbow and also got a brand new one we're going to tell you
- 1:43about in a minute the website is Scott lively dot net that's Scott lively dot net
- 1:49and let's bring him on right now brother so good to see you and spend some time
- 1:53again good to be back with you David God bless you God bless you so people know
- 2:01what we're going to talk about based on what I read from your article the
- 2:03history of DEI in the military but before we start I said something a little
- 2:10provocative there it is that you can find that at on scotch website or world
- 2:13net daily and there's an else also I at world net daily it says my final WND
- 2:21column as a February 17 my final column so you had a health scare a couple
- 2:28months ago share what's going on with you personally and why I said this may be
- 2:34your final interview well David a couple of years ago I decided that I wanted
- 2:41to retire from the culture war it's been now as of this year it's I got started
- 2:46in 1988 and taking on battles it's always been by the prompting of the holy
- 2:53spirit ever since I got saved I've always sort of taken on battles that other
- 2:58people were not you know aspects of the war that other people were not
- 3:03addressing for example in 1995 I published my first book the pink swastika
- 3:08homosexuality in the Nazi party knowing that it was going to essentially prevent
- 3:14me from ever having a major leadership role in the national profanely movement
- 3:18because it was just controversial and too explosive so I've spent all these
- 3:25years doing that it was named a few years ago as the public enemy number one of
- 3:31the global LGBT movement because I had essentially become a missionary to the
- 3:37global profanely movement and was having a lot of success in preventing
- 3:44their agenda in foreign countries not here they've just been too powerful here
- 3:48in the US but I have been fighting I was raised up as a as a culture war
- 3:53activist during the Reagan Revolution and when the Reagan Revolution sort of
- 4:00faded away and and and it gave way to the heavy rhino control of the Republican
- 4:07party I continue to to work as a sort of behind the scenes and behind enemy
- 4:14lines activists for all these years but I decided after all this time to you
- 4:22know I got I've got a bunch of grandkids now and and frankly with the with the
- 4:27re-election of President Trump and the anti-EI movement rising to such
- 4:32spectacular heights now in terms of power and effectiveness I don't think
- 4:37I'm really needed anymore in terms of I mean I think the insights that I have
- 4:43are valuable and I'm always going to provide those in terms of taking on new
- 4:47battles and and and being where the fighting is the hottest and all that I'm
- 4:52done with that and so I decided on my birthday for in December of last year I
- 4:59would resign from the culture war but just a couple weeks before November 25th
- 5:05I had a heart attack it's sort of like with the Lord sort of rubber stamping
- 5:09endorsing that plan anyway well thank you for sharing that with us we're so
- 5:15blessed to have you on if this is the last time again and out Jeff bring up our
- 5:20previous podcast with Scott confessions of a hate criminal you guys can go to
- 5:26Worldview Matters.tv that's Worldview Matters.tv and in the search at the
- 5:33upper right just put in Scott lively to watch that one or just listen to that one
- 5:39if you're just doing audio because that shares a lot more of his background in
- 5:43the battle that you've been fighting brother I googled your name earlier just
- 5:46for Grins and one of the first links that came up was the Southern Poverty Law
- 5:51Center you're on their hate list right and so this by the way the mental or the
- 5:57baton is being passed there's a lot of great people doing some really good
- 6:02work let me mention real quick and get your response to Chris Chris Rufo
- 6:06Christopher Rufo yeah he's the first name that came to my I've never met the
- 6:11kid but I in fact I don't even know how old he is but I've seen his picture but
- 6:16he really is become a rising star Robbie star book yep I applauded him in a
- 6:23column I did it a couple of months ago it's just the whole the whole Maga
- 6:29movement is decided to take this on finally finally the service recognized
- 6:35the centrality of the LGBT agenda to the entire leftist juggernaut right
- 6:43it's always been the point of the spear going all the way back before anybody
- 6:49was talking about left versus right the LGBTs were planning and
- 6:55strategizing and building incrementally going all the way back to the 20s the
- 6:591920s and I've been involved like I said since the Reagan Revolution I've
- 7:07seen the culture war from the front lines and multiple dimensions of it
- 7:13all along it was a single issue focus for me for a very long time until I ran
- 7:19for governor of Massachusetts in 2014 2018 and brought in to become a sort of
- 7:26full spectrum conservative at that point but I think I know more about the
- 7:31culture war the LGBT when you talk about the culture war you're really talking
- 7:36about the attempt of the LGBT movement to conquer Christianity and all these
- 7:42aspects of it including the black civil rights movement which predates it all
- 7:48became pawns and tools of the gaze to achieve their objective and the way that
- 7:54you can tell even you know there's lots of evidence of that tons of it but the
- 7:58best evidence of it is just look at the pride calendar you know look at the
- 8:02look at the diversity calendar in America right wax get February right frozen
- 8:08February and women get get slush month march right the gays get two months the
- 8:17two best months of the year whether I whether wise and in terms of access to
- 8:22schoolchildren and that's June and October October is a history month so that's
- 8:28all you need to know about who's really driving the agenda who has the power
- 8:32who is been empowered and is empowering themselves by the promotion of D.E.I.
- 8:41and the and the blacks and women I mean when you're talking women in
- 8:46love to such and you're really talking to a large extent lesbianism right not
- 8:51entirely but you know the the ones that actually achieved the highest level of
- 8:56power you know governors and his attorney generals and all that all across
- 9:00America that sort of representing women's rights are actually representing
- 9:05lesbian rights or lesbian favoritism and and that's just the reality of the
- 9:12of America today and it's always been that and they and and all these other
- 9:18constituencies have just been bundled together in order to help them get
- 9:23through the the challenges of public disapproval so anyway okay Scott I want
- 9:31to encourage our viewers and our listeners who've got people on all kinds of
- 9:35platforms praise God to pray for Scott lively and his family and I also want you
- 9:42guys to pray for people like Chris Rufo and others who are taking up this baton
- 9:47and this mantle I there's a I follow him on sub stack and he's written some
- 9:51great articles and books and he put something out in January said what the
- 9:55left did to me and my family and Scott I know you'll relate to this you've had
- 9:59you've had you've had all kinds of things I made a comment underneath that's
- 10:05under that story said welcome to the cloud brother yeah and I pray that pray
- 10:09for endurance for people like him and people that are fighting this fight now he
- 10:13says it in part when I live in Seattle they put up posters around my
- 10:17neighborhood with my home address telling insane lies about me and instructing
- 10:21activists to show up at my door later they sent letters to a few hundred of my
- 10:26neighbors calling me a Nazi and a white supremacist I had death threats references
- 10:31to my family were on there the whole deal and he said I a few times I'd to
- 10:35pack up the kids and leave town and he mentions one time one of these
- 10:39activists found one of my children at a park with the babysitter and yelled at
- 10:43him until he started crying and my son came home terrified and it goes on but
- 10:47this is what they do this is this is how the left plays the demonic left go
- 10:52ahead I've been there every single thing he's talking about I have been through
- 10:57myself they had oh man I'm writing my life story and I'm I'm writing it I've
- 11:06been developing if you read my columns on world that daily is 456 columns
- 11:13there goodness over over the years I've developed what I call a style
- 11:20testimonial evangelism when I write it isn't just about you know a guy
- 11:25commenting about what other people are doing as much as possible I have provided
- 11:30first and witness account of things that have happened I bring up stuff in my
- 11:35past I've lived that way and and I believe the most that's the most powerful
- 11:40testimony that you can have is something from your own experience you're
- 11:45expressing to people at using yourself as an example like Paul did right not
- 11:51for self-lorification but for sort of certifying that you know what you're
- 11:57talking about because you actually have been there you're not just repeating
- 12:00what someone else is doing or or or recounting the actions of others you're
- 12:08actually saying hey I did this I saw this this is what happened and I I
- 12:13pursued it so now in retirement I'm writing my life story and and I'm writing
- 12:20it doing it with this testimony evangelism style as sort of like it's like a
- 12:26string of beads right in which it's like a timeline of my life and many of
- 12:32the stories along it are full booklets are even even books and some cases
- 12:37because of the for example the the lawsuit the smug versus lively lawsuit it's
- 12:43been six and a half years in US federal court defending against the the claim
- 12:48that I was guilty of crimes against humanity for pricking against homosexuality
- 12:53in Uganda and almost you know and I ran for governor this is the another of
- 12:58the of the beads is the the experience of actually of being a nobody in fact
- 13:04a social pariah in Massachusetts running for governor twice the first time
- 13:10to break out of the Saul Linsky box that they had me in to poison the jury pool
- 13:15against me right that's the idea that the only way that I could overcome what
- 13:21they were doing which would I would have ended up you know I mean it wasn't a
- 13:26criminal case I wouldn't have been jailed but I would have been completely wiped
- 13:29out and and so I ran for governor in 2014 in order to do something bigger than
- 13:36the then the LGBTs could control in terms of media coverage and it worked and I
- 13:41broke out of that box but so these are all different sort of beads on the
- 13:47on the string of first-hand experience talking about the history of the
- 13:53culture so from the Reagan revolution to the Trump insurgency right the
- 13:58counter-revolution is really what it is yeah I've been in every single step of
- 14:03the way often in the most important of the battles I personally pick it at
- 14:07outside the Supreme Court when they were doing the Bergerfeld case I was my
- 14:12law firm when I had read my law firm in Southern California my law partner
- 14:16and I would be only law firm in the nation to ask the Supreme Court not to take
- 14:20the Lawrence versus Texas case which is the one that overturned the
- 14:23Sodomy laws and provided the springboard to gay marriage which happened the
- 14:29first one in Massachusetts under Romney yeah all things I was there a
- 14:34saw them all and so I'm writing I mean I guess in that sense I'm still in the
- 14:39culture and the sense of but all but in terms of being the of telling the
- 14:45history and and out of that comes insights and explanations and background
- 14:50that assist those are that are on the front lines now and I hope very much
- 14:56that those who are fighting the battle will not will forget that some of us
- 15:02like myself Peter LaBarbara you know Linda Hart in in in Ohio you know this
- 15:10Brian Kamecker in Massachusetts is mass resistance there were a handful of
- 15:17us who were single issue pro family activists going all the way back that fought
- 15:22this battle Kelsey Gabbard's dad Mike Gabbard was was one of us and we all
- 15:28met they're back in 1992 I think in the in a in the basement of a hotel in
- 15:35Framingham Massachusetts Mike Gabbard actually flew to meet me on the West
- 15:41Coast and we flew together to go to that meeting and and we we drafted we wrote
- 15:46what would become sort of the definition of the natural family you know all
- 15:51these we're so many all these plans but eventually it just came down to just
- 15:56defining what the natural family actually is because that's the thing that we
- 16:01really need to preserve and conserve and to bring back to primacy in the
- 16:05culture yeah so wait these these vignettes these these experiences I think are
- 16:11valuable to those like Rupo and and others who are taking this on don't forget
- 16:17that there are there are pioneers who who went before you on these trails and
- 16:24took the which before anyone was paying attention right they did to me
- 16:29everything they did to Donald Trump every single thing they did to Donald Trump
- 16:34they did to me first when I was an organ doxing law fair I had four lawsuits
- 16:42for over for over 11 million dollars against me before the crimes against
- 16:49humanity lawsuit years later the biggest your squads that would kick over the
- 16:56tables we were collecting petition signatures to try to put things on the
- 17:00ballot dirty tricks having you know being being sued the first lawsuit being
- 17:06sued for that battery by a lesbian activist who infiltrated our private
- 17:10meeting and when I put her out physically gently but firmly she sued me for
- 17:15battery and they they scheduled the trial for that for three weeks for six
- 17:21weeks before the election of ballot measure nine which was the that was a no
- 17:27special rights act which we lost an organ but we won in Colorado and it became
- 17:32amendment two that was the basis for the for the Supreme Court case Roma versus
- 17:38Evans right which was the first of the four lawsuits I mean of the four
- 17:43Supreme Court decisions the majority opinion of which was written by Anthony
- 17:49Kennedy that established gay cultural supremacy in America it was taking down
- 17:54amendment two was what did that anyway that was all I was part of all that but
- 17:58but I ended up in in in front of a of a Nike corporate lawyer who was put in
- 18:05place as as the pro-tem judge of this defamation case and they timed it so that
- 18:11it happened just before the election and then for the election cycle they had a
- 18:16television commercial I mean of course I of course I lost it our our our lawyer
- 18:22was it was first case on a law school but they the TV commercial had these
- 18:30three vignettes and the center one was this ominous you know it's like they said
- 18:36you know a lesbian is beaten by an official of the OCA this is they spent a
- 18:40million dollars on this all over the state and then they put posters you talk
- 18:44about rooflets they put posters with my face on it throughout the entire
- 18:48neighborhood where I live with my family and hang your head and shame Scott
- 18:53lively and then listed all this nonsense so you know I just these are the
- 18:59things you face or you used now that Trump is an office and I'm just I'm blown
- 19:05away that he is not sort of giving any ground to the to the LGBTs at this
- 19:12point we'll see what happens during Pride Month right because it looks like if
- 19:16if he this is the big problem if if if people listen to the show don't get
- 19:21anything else from what I say just remember this battle is not about DEI this
- 19:28isn't this battle is about the LGBT agenda and whether we get we push them
- 19:34back into the closet or they stay out and remain in power and gay marriage gets
- 19:40incorporated into mainstream culture from now on that's gonna be the test
- 19:46because if they win that battle and we don't roll back gay marriage and we
- 19:51don't we don't get back to the place where we have tolerance but not acceptance
- 19:55yeah or the LGBT agenda then it's all gonna be for a waste because they're
- 20:00just gonna grow back up like a you know like a weed they're gonna grow back up
- 20:04and and and everything that we thought we've won will be lost again as this
- 20:09happened over and over yeah hey we're gonna take a brief pause shout out to one of

- 20:59our Freedom Project Media app so praise God for the growth of world view
- 21:04matters back to Scott lively by the way follow us on YouTube we have a new
- 21:07YouTube channel world view matters David Fiorazo Scott your take real quick on
- 21:13the demonic I mean the Democrat governor of Wisconsin who recently wants
- 21:18mothers to be called inseminated persons this was just in the news last week
- 21:22inseminated persons he actually changed the wording of some of the language in
- 21:28one of these section one of these bills just you know we know that they're
- 21:31gonna double down we know that some are not going to just say maybe we should
- 21:35come back toward the middle a little bit and be moderate no this their
- 21:39ideologically driven the there's this spirit of delusion and go ahead they're
- 21:45just crazy I mean the thing about it is that the public has never really been
- 21:50behind this but everyone was afraid to say that they worked for it and that's
- 21:54the power that was the power that the left wielded right when you when you control
- 21:59the media you have you know the intelligence agencies are driving your
- 22:03narrative and all that you can basically act in impunity but you can't do that
- 22:07anymore and once the once the population realized that that that Donald Trump
- 22:13was gonna win and they didn't have to hide their true views anymore all the
- 22:18sudden people started coming out of the woodwork and pretending like they'd
- 22:22been doing it all along which is the funny part but you know all these people
- 22:27that were just you know shaking in their boots that are all of our allies and
- 22:31our friends they're now out in the street and they realize they're looking around
- 22:35we have the power now we're not gonna put up with this garbage anymore yeah and
- 22:39so these these and when it comes to figures like the these and the governor of
- 22:44Maine too you know doubling and tripling down on you know these people are bought
- 22:49and paid for right their agents of of powers behind them and they really don't
- 22:54have a real choice yeah if you know they they've got to tell the line they they
- 23:00had they owe a tremendous amount to the people that that cheated them into
- 23:04office in many cases and it's good that it's happening because the because
- 23:11normal people you know the normies are back in charge and and they're not
- 23:16gonna put up with this anymore and that the more that the crazier the these
- 23:21lefty loons get the more vocal they are the the more powerful the anti-dei
- 23:28movement is going to get and so I think so Scott I want to go back to your
- 23:33article real quick and the history of DEI in the military and in the article you
- 23:39wrote we're gonna talk about don't ask don't tell briefly because that was
- 23:44signed in law in 1993 and how that affected things in the 90s but in the
- 23:48article you wrote about an essay that you did titled don't repeal don't ask
- 23:53don't tell and you sent it to senators it says there would certainly be a mass
- 23:58exodus of normal men from a homosexualized military the entire premise of a
- 24:05military system based on voluntary services that young men will want to serve
- 24:10but will normal men want to volunteer when they know they will share close
- 24:15quarters with other men for whom they will be objects of sexual interest it is
- 24:20a recipe for deep and widespread moral and morale problems go ahead we've just
- 24:26got three minutes left Scott and expound on that yeah that's you know I was
- 24:30friends with Ron Ray who was the jagged attorney that that fought the battle over
- 24:36gays in the military right remember Bill Clinton ran on that theme I confronted
- 24:41Clinton on a parallel topic about the Boy Scouts and a live
- 24:44simulcast in Portland and Seattle and got and forced him into a corner where he
- 24:50had just to say he did not support the the the homosexuals getting making
- 24:56advances in the Boy Scouts it was a great rush limbaugh covered covered that the
- 24:59next day but the military was his baby he was being funded by the big money
- 25:05gays in order to do that and and then as soon as he got into office he tried
- 25:10it crashed and burned but he pushed forward anyway he put it through an
- 25:15executive order granting homosexuals top secret security clearance that's
- 25:19when they took over the intelligence agencies there was all Clinton that did
- 25:23that and then so the battle was fought about gays in the military and the
- 25:28military won the conservatives in the military won but then the bureaucrats
- 25:33decided to capitulate anyway and they brought it don't ask don't tell as a
- 25:38compromise position which was really just a stepping stone waiting until the
- 25:43populace had been further propagandized enough that they would be willing to
- 25:47accept open homosexuality which that happened under Obama I fought this all
- 25:52the way around I actually went to DC with the article that I wrote and passed
- 25:57copies I confronted my senator Scott Brown or his office anyway who bragging
- 26:03that he had stood strong against getting letting him out of the committee and
- 26:07then within a month he's holding a press conference flipping his vote in
- 26:12support of of repeal of don't ask don't tell and accompanied by the most
- 26:17powerful LGBT move organization from Massachusetts standing behind him while
- 26:22he signed you know this I've seen all along and just as I predicted the
- 26:30the the recruitment had crashed totally until Trump got in and put big
- 26:36Pete Hankseth in that place and everything's turned around in the space of
- 26:40of days really up weeks so very briefly friends go to wnd dot com type in
- 26:47Scott lively and that's where you can look up the history of DEI in the
- 26:51military there's so much else I wanted to talk to you about I know your thoughts
- 26:55on Pete Hankseth I was going to get those but we've got less than a minute I
- 26:59just want to mention your brand new book Scott tell us about that in the
- 27:02Scott lively dot store called Nazi Germany's dirtiest secrets in 30 seconds
- 27:08please. Well this was gonna have been the sixth edition of the pink swastika but
- 27:14I did it as a solo book it's 620 pages of documentation on the homosexual
- 27:20roots of the Nazi party there would never have been a Nazi party have been for
- 27:24the German gay subculture and then they jumped the ocean came to the United
- 27:28States and and then they did the same thing over here and that's this book more
- 27:33about Americans understanding the roots of what happened here than it is about
- 27:37German. Okay Scott lively dot net brother I appreciate your voice and your
- 27:42work and your childless efforts through all these years God bless you sir and
- 27:46thank you for all you do. Friends God bless you and thank you so much for
- 27:50sharing the podcast and as always keep speaking the truth about things that
