  Speaker 1: Before I allow the Spirit to take real full control

  Speaker 1: to just vent for a minute. Like I've stated, today

  Speaker 1: has been such a great day, and that's because I

  Speaker 1: put the Lord first. I did not put myself, what

  Speaker 1: I need and what I want, even. Because at the
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: end of the day, it's what we do with our time.

  Speaker 1: If we give time to the Lord, he gives us time.

  Speaker 1: And I don't just mean by just, oh, we can
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: do what we want and do what we desire. Sometimes
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: even when you don't want to, that's when you should.

  Speaker 1: Give him praise. Talk to him. Because he's waiting. He
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: knows how troubled you are. He knows you better than yourself.

  Speaker 1: And he wants to help.

  Speaker 2: So I say this with conviction.

  Speaker 1: I say this as a backsliding Christian. For 40, I'm sorry,

  Speaker 1: not 40 years. I'm only 37 years old. For 20 years,

  Speaker 1: I was a backsliding Christian.
• 2:37
  Speaker 2: I was a hypocrite. I have to be able to
• 2:40
  Speaker 2: tell on myself. And so do you. Because there's no
• 2:44
  Speaker 2: change unless you can be honest. How do we change?

  Speaker 2: Being honest, open, and willing. And that's how. Now, I'm no...

  Speaker 2: that's perfect.

  Speaker 1: I'm nobody that has a degree in preaching. But God
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: doesn't call the qualified.

  Speaker 2: He makes them qualified. Amen?

  Speaker 1: So let's jump into it. Jeremiah chapter 28, verse 11
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: through 12 states, I, the Lord, tell you this. I
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: have decided what I will do for you I have
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: plans to help you to do well. I do not
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: want to hurt you. I want to give you hope
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: for a good life in the future. What a powerful verse.
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: We tend to undermine, underestimate the power of the Holy Ghost.
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: Whether it is because We are brainwashed into thinking that
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: going to church is a religious thing. Whatever the case
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: may be, I don't want to go down the list.
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: I'm trying to get away from doing that. But this
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: is what I'm doing right here. It's a form of church.
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: I don't have to be in a building. I don't
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: have to get on my knees and pray, which those
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: are all great.
• 4:27
  Speaker 2: I'm not underestimating those add-ons. But what's really important.

  Speaker 1: And I keep preaching this, is having that relationship with
• 4:35
  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ so you can allow the Holy Spirit to
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: live in your life.
• 4:42
  Speaker 2: Verse 12.
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: At that time, when you call out for me for help,
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: I will hear your prayers.
• 4:52
  Speaker 2: This is very crucial. This is very crucial.
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: Because how many times do we talk to certain people, right?
• 5:01
  Speaker 1: And we don't realize.
• 5:04
  Speaker 2: That they're not really listening to us.
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: They don't even hear us. So here's where we need
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: to learn. That it's almost the same.
• 5:19
  Speaker 2: With the Lord. Sometimes He hears you. Sometimes he's listening.

  Speaker 2: Stay with me now.

  Speaker 1: Don't lean on your own understanding right here. Keep an
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: open mind. Do not lean on your own emotions. How
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: you may feel about my tone of voice. Or my
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: style of Bible study. Listen to the Spirit.
• 5:50
  Speaker 2: Sometimes... We ask the Lord for certain things like he's
• 5:56
  Speaker 2: a genie in the bottle. We are equipped to be
• 6:03
  Speaker 2: able to overcome physical damages. Over time, of course, it's recovery.
• 6:12
  Speaker 2: It's healing. Say you break a bone, right?
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: You put it in a cask and eventually the calcium
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: in the bones, it goes back together. Sometimes even stronger
• 6:23
  Speaker 1: than ever.
• 6:23
  Speaker 2: Right? Think of it as Jesus is the cast of
• 6:33
  Speaker 2: your soul.
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: Your soul has been tampered with. Your spirit is not pure.
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: I don't need to sit here and condemn you. I
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: don't need to sit here and pass judgment.
• 6:49
  Speaker 2: But we all, not one, Not to, but all.
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: Fall short of the glory of God.

  Speaker 2: Because we are not glorifying anything but ourselves most of

  Speaker 2: the time. Or others. Or places. Or things. And then

  Speaker 2: we wonder why our life is not going in the
• 7:17
  Speaker 2: right direction.

  Speaker 1: They call it a narrow path for a reason. It's
• 7:28
  Speaker 1: not so hard to get on the narrow path. And
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: to follow Jesus. But there's so many distractions. And it
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: starts with the people that you surround yourself with. It
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: starts with the people that you spend the most time with.
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: Those people, places, and things... That consume your time, your mind,
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: your energy. Are taking you away from God and you
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: don't even know it. You get these temporary comforts. Right?

  Speaker 2: With either trauma bonding with others.
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: I can keep going.
• 8:08
  Speaker 2: I can keep going. And the Spirit is telling me
• 8:14
  Speaker 2: and you today. In order for us to turn away
• 8:18
  Speaker 2: from our ways... We have to turn away from the
• 8:21
  Speaker 2: certain people that we have been loyal to that do
• 8:23
  Speaker 2: not feed us any divine purpose. If it's just passing time.

  Speaker 2: If it's just talking about others. If it's just consuming
• 8:43
  Speaker 2: your time with nonsense. Keeping up with the Joneses.
• 8:49
  Speaker 1: I can keep going I can keep going but what
• 8:53
  Speaker 1: we're going to do is we're going to jump even
• 8:54
  Speaker 1: deeper into this we're going to jump even deeper into

  Speaker 1: this you will want to find me and I will

  Speaker 1: be ready to meet with you if you really want

  Speaker 1: to find me Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 14 states that

  Speaker 1: was 13 I will be there for you.

  Speaker 2: That is what the Lord says.

  Speaker 1: I will bring you back from the nations and all
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: the places where I sent you as prisoners. You will
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: no longer have to live in those foreign places. You
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: may say the Lord has chosen prophets to bring his
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: message to us here in Bethlehem. But listen to what
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: the Lord says about the people who are still here
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: in Jerusalem. The enemy did not take them.

  Speaker 2: With you. As prisoners to Bethlehem. That includes the king.

  Speaker 2: Who now rules. David's. Kingdom.

  Speaker 1: The Lord Almighty says. I will send war. Famine and
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: diseases to hurt them. They will be like. Bad figs
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: that nobody can eat.

  Speaker 2: See, it's something.

  Speaker 1: I'm going to let the spirit kind of just roam
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: right now.
• 10:33
  Speaker 2: It's something.

  Speaker 1: When we think about what the Lord is capable of doing. Now,
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: everybody may think that the Lord is just.
• 10:42
  Speaker 2: All about peace. But no. He is also... someone that
• 10:49
  Speaker 2: does have hate for Satan and sin because he.
• 10:56
  Speaker 1: Knows what it does to them he knows what it
• 11:00
  Speaker 1: does to us.
• 11:04
  Speaker 2: We as fellow believers and followers of Christ we must understand.

  Speaker 1: That we cannot save anybody on our own doing. We
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: cannot just say, you know what, we're praying for you.

  Speaker 1: Which power of prayer is amazing. And I'm a very
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: firm believer in power of prayer. But when it really
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: comes to ordinary people that are lost, they want to
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: hear about how Jesus has touched your life. Do not
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: be a lukewarm believer. And think that just because you
• 11:56
  Speaker 1: were saved.
• 11:58
  Speaker 2: That that's it.
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: You don't have to do any work. There's so many
• 12:03
  Speaker 1: lost souls out there.
• 12:05
  Speaker 2: And people that are closest to you. That you don't
• 12:10
  Speaker 2: share your story with. And if you don't have a story....
• 12:17
  Speaker 1: These particular verses are for you.
• 12:22
  Speaker 2: Call upon the Lord. He's waiting.
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: He's waiting to meet you right where you're at. Not
• 12:30
  Speaker 1: where you're trying to be. Not where you ought to be,
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: but right where you're at. You don't have to clean
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: up and start going to church alone just to Receive
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. And be able to have him change your heart.
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: You have to be a willing... A willing participant. And
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: I say these things... As I close out. Less than
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: two minutes. A believer to a follower of Christ.
• 13:10
  Speaker 2: Is a very hard transition. That many believers... fall short
• 13:22
  Speaker 2: fall short.
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: And as I continue to not fall short because I
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: do not lean on my own understanding I do not
• 13:35
  Speaker 1: lean on my own emotions as I continue to keep
• 13:40
  Speaker 1: going through the.
• 13:41
  Speaker 2: Valley of the shadow of death even as I walk
• 13:49
  Speaker 2: I will fear no evil.
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: For I am not alone. I might be alone in
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: the physical. But in the spiritual. People don't understand the
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: type of protection that I have. And I've had it
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: my whole life. Even I didn't know.
• 14:15
  Speaker 2: Now that I know. I do not boast. In my faith.
• 14:22
  Speaker 2: I boast. In what the Holy Spirit. Has been able.
• 14:27
  Speaker 2: To do for me. What I have not been able
• 14:29
  Speaker 2: to do for myself. And that's care for others. That's.
• 14:35
  Speaker 2: It goes deeper than that. I got 20 seconds. I
• 14:38
  Speaker 2: want you to understand. That the Lord's ready to meet you. Right.
