- 0:04Welcome to After Dark on the America Out Loud Talk Radio Network.
- 0:07I am your host, Rob Harper.
- 0:09And my co-host tonight is Heather Robinson, who by the way is uh with us from the former Golden Gate State.
- 0:18I say former because the way it's looking now, it doesn't look so golden, but all the way from California.
- 0:24Heather, how are you this Monday night?
- 0:26I'm doing all right, Rob.
- 0:28Thank you.
- 0:28How are you?
- 0:29Heather, I'm doing great.
- 0:30Uh we got a lot to talk about.
- 0:33And I want to talk about the No Kings rally that took place this weekend.
- 0:36I also want to talk about what's happening with the excursion or the conflict with Iran, Israel and the US, and how so many people keep saying that.
- 0:46You know, Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel, they're dragging Trump into this war.
- 0:50And we're now seeing that it's it's more than not the Gulf states that are doing this, they're directing Trump or giving him suggestions as to what to do because from what I'm hearing right now, Saudi Arabia, they don't want Trump to stop their thing is take them out, keep going, eliminate the threat.
- 1:09So we're gonna talk about that.
- 1:11But before we start, I want you to give us a inside view as to what LA is looking like under Gavin Newsom, who we know is planning on running for the president of the United States.
- 1:23So give it to us, Heather.
- 1:24How is California?
- 1:26Well, I've only been here for a few days, Rob, and uh mostly I've been around Venice Beach area, which to be fair is always a gritty area.
- 1:37I think that I would compare it to the East Village in New York City, maybe, you know, into the part where you know edges into Alphabet City.
- 1:46Um it's been somewhat gentrified, we know, but it always it's it's not really the um the Tony kind of part of New York.
- 1:55Well, that's what Venice Beach is like.
- 1:57It's known as uh, yeah, surfer beach, a muscle beach, a beach with a lot of kind of eccentrics, and and that's I guess part of its charm.
- 2:06So I don't didn't expect everything to be pristine there, but it does seem that there are a lot of uh, you know, a lot of street people.
- 2:17Um you see things aren't looking real spick and span to be sure.
- 2:22I mean, the beach is still beautiful and the sunset was beautiful.
- 2:26Um you know, I can't say that it was like I observed anything horrible.
- 2:32Um but I you know, again, I wasn't making a study of it.
- 2:37I was just there with friends for a couple nights.
- 2:39And um one thing I I did observe that's different, uh different than New York is that there are self-driving cars on the street.
- 2:48Um a couple times they stopped, and fortunately they stopped, you know, promptly when my friend and I were walking her dogs across the street.
- 2:56Uh, I also saw robots.
- 2:58I I saw one robot delivering food.
- 3:01Uh and it was kind of interesting.
- 3:04It was um like an unmanned uh contraption on wheels with um it said something like uh yeah, just food delivery or something like that, and I guess the food was inside, and when you walk toward it, it stops.
- 3:20It makes stops like it's programmed to stop if anything's in its way, but it's just riding around on wheels, I guess maybe you know, instead of DoorDash instead of a person driving.
- 3:32So I don't see those things in New York.
- 3:35Um I guess they're kind of being field tested here in LA, and I I don't really have a strong opinion about it.
- 3:42It's just something I observed.
- 3:45So I mean, I guess you could say it's taking jobs away from somebody, presumably, which isn't great, but uh then again, um, you know, I guess it's someone's business, somebody's got a business building these things and and running them, and uh, you know, I guess the Angelinos are uh the the sort of guinea pigs for it.
- 4:10So how did you find the self-driving cars?
- 4:13Well you've heard so much about them.
- 4:16I didn't ride in one.
- 4:17We I just saw a couple of them as we were crossing the street.
- 4:21And my friend pointed out, look, that's I forget what it was called, Waymo or something.
- 4:25That's a Waymo.
- 4:27And I said, What's that?
- 4:28And she said, look, it'll it'll stop for us.
- 4:30And of course, you know, it did as we cross the street.
- 4:33It's it seemed very stop sensitive.
- 4:37Like, you know, it seems like it stopped very, you know, uh very uh completely when we got near it.
- 4:47And I guess it's just that's something that would have to be top top part of the program for those cars.
- 4:55You know, I obviously they don't want accidents and it it worked as it was supposed to in the brief few seconds I had interaction with it, same with the little robot that was delivering food.
- 5:08So it was interesting.
- 5:10Well, who's left in California, considering a lot of the wealthy folks are heading toward Florida and Texas because of the tax hikes.
- 5:21Can you blame them?
- 5:22Well, no, but the funny thing is uh I was staying with some friends who are wealthy folks, and they were kind enough to host me, and they had a big party, not in my honor, but they were just having this party.
- 5:36And so um they are an interesting couple.
- 5:41They're um New Yorkers who now have a place in LA, and they are very liberal, very you know, left in their politics, as you can guess.
- 5:51And I think they just I from my standpoint, I would say they're in denial or oblivious to some of the downside of the policies that are being uh promulgated in these places, but there are still wealthy liberals, you know, they're my friends, so I don't want to sound uh disrespectful, but you know, I they're champagne liberals, I guess you would say.
- 6:18That's who's left, you know, in terms of wealthy people.
- 6:21Right.
- 6:21And then Venice Beach, the muscle beach.
- 6:24Uh you said you were able to go by there.
- 6:26Did you see folks working out?
- 6:28I saw surfers and you know, some built people when I was there.
- 6:32Um, you know, it's Monday night.
- 6:34I was there uh over the weekend and in the evenings, so we went, you know, around sunset to walk the dogs on the beach.
- 6:41My friend's a red-haired person.
- 6:43She doesn't like to be out in the sun during the day.
- 6:47So uh it was uh yeah, you know, you saw some some of the beautiful people.
- 6:52There are a lot of white teeth in California and cat bodies, like ever.
- 6:57Yeah, and and yeah, there were quite a few.
- 6:59The homeless people, I this isn't a political point, it's just an observation.
- 7:04Though those who I saw, the street people seemed a little more mellow than the ones in New York.
- 7:10But I'm sure there are exceptions, but they were sort of like, you know, reading poetry and doing magic and speaking in new agey terms and that kind of thing.
- 7:23They seemed a little more like, you know, probably the you know, I'll tell you there's a lot of weed.
- 7:29There's a lot of weed of the city.
- 7:32There is New York, but it's a little different, I think, because in New York you smell it a lot.
- 7:37You see a lot of kids with it.
- 7:39Here you see more adults going into the stores.
- 7:42Um there was a store that we went into, actually.
- 7:46Um, because it's legal here, and I, you know, I was curious.
- 7:49Uh, I'm not a big fan myself.
- 7:52Uh I tried a part of a gummy and I didn't like it.
- 7:56Um, but it's it's you know, the stores are much more they're bigger and they're more uh I would say a little like it there are, I guess, weed places in New York City, but I don't find them to be as quite out there in the open somehow, like even though it's legal now, they still seem a little maybe the zoning, maybe the laws are different in New York, maybe they can't have them near schools.
- 8:21I'm just guessing, but like here they look like bigger stores right alongside the clothing store or whatever.
- 8:29It's like this, I forget the name of the place we went to, uh, but they have you know, all kinds of not just the cigarettes, but the you know, lots of gummies and different, you know, chocolate bars and things with weed in them.
- 8:46So that's a you know, I'd say a bigger part of the culture here, probably even than in New York.
- 8:53Right.
- 8:54Right, you do smell that everywhere in New York, and this is a smell that I detest.
- 8:58But like you said, it's legal and people are able to do it.
- 9:01Now, when you were there, did you see any of the were there any no king protests taking place?
- 9:08Well, we avoided them.
- 9:09We heard that they were happening, but my friend was shopping for their party.
- 9:14So we took her electric car and went to the farmers market and to Whole Foods.
- 9:22This was a very liberal weekend for me, Rob.
- 9:26I was really in in enemy territory.
- 9:29I I know not enemies, but you know, we're all Americans, but I say that facetiously, but I was definitely a little starved for my ideological compatriots.
- 9:39So there was no discussion about no pol political discussions.
- 9:42I you know, I've had discussions with these particular friends before, and the discussion devolves pretty quickly into shouting not on my part.
- 9:51I mean, I you know how it is, Robert.
- 9:53Our listeners know we tend to be the more um the conservatives.
- 9:59I mean, I
- 10:00I'm saying I'm sure there are exceptions, and then we got a few temperamental hotheads on our side, maybe, but I don't think that's most of us.
- 10:07I think most conservatives are law and order people, very um polite people, uh tend to have a pretty good reign on our emotions.
- 10:17It's not usually I who raises my voice first, certainly not first, and you know, uh, I try not to at all.
- 10:26But my one friend who is uh, you know, a very generous and sweet person and has a lot of great qualities.
- 10:33She just does not do well making space for other views.
- 10:39She's very, very knee-jerk liberal.
- 10:42And so I don't really, I try to just gloss over the subject with her, you know, now, Rob, even though you know I'm it's a big part of my life.
- 10:49Um, it's a part that I can't share with these particular friends.
- 10:53Although the man of the couple did, you know, they're Jewish like me, and they he brought up that he's upset about the election of Mandami in New York.
- 11:02He's originally from London, this friend of mine, and he was talking about how for him in England, he always felt anti-Semitism growing up.
- 11:11He was raised religious and he wore the Keepa, and he never felt he said, you know, he never really felt a love of country in England because he didn't he felt like because he was Jewish, he was treated differently in many ways.
- 11:24But he does love America.
- 11:26He became a citizen, and I remember him telling me, I mean, of the two friends, he's they're both liberal, but he's a little less extreme than my female friend.
- 11:34And he's also in business, so I think he's uh more pragmatic in some ways.
- 11:39But I remember him saying to me that he loves America, that he's glad he became a citizen and you know, he built his business here.
- 11:45He's very successful.
- 11:47But he was saying that now that for him, New York was always a safe place.
- 11:52He always felt safe, and now he feels like it's becoming more like Europe in terms of the anti-Semitism with this Muslim mayor who, not because he's a Muslim, but because he has tolerance for these radicals around him, including his own wife, and you know, he may be a radical himself, and he has tolerance for things like globalize the intifada, which Jews you know, view as a direct call for violence against us wherever we are in the world.
- 12:20Um, this is something that the mayor of New York City could not bring himself to disavow.
- 12:26And so my friend was talking about how he's like, you know, I'm coming over to your side on this one.
- 12:30I just I'm really upset, you know, and I said it is upsetting.
- 12:35So that was the only politics we we talked, yeah.
- 12:38Right, maybe he'll make a complete come over.
- 12:39Uh, but just going back to he's talk about uh Europe.
- 12:43I mean, I think that especially the UK, Great Britain, they've just like I was reading somewhere that 36% of Europeans or of UK are white, because you have so many illegals that have migrated there, and they're just they're almost like the dominant force.
- 13:03And you look here in America everywhere you turn, and we've talked about this with Simon Ding, that it seems that and we this is not to say that we're uh, you know, xenophobic or anything like that, but I I've often wondered why would a culture, a group of people who don't share our culture want to come here as opposed to the other Arab countries that are just as wealthy as America.
- 13:30Why would you want to come here and set up shop?
- 13:34But that's not what we're gonna talk about tonight.
- 13:36I want to go back to the no kings here in New York City.
- 13:41They did have rallies here.
- 13:42I did not see any.
- 13:44I did not that I was looking for it, but I did find it interesting that this whole concept of no kings, and you have all these people that support it.
- 13:56And it's like, well, where did you get the king?
- 13:58Who who are you saying is a king?
- 14:01You even had folks in Great Britain uh staging their own no kings rally.
- 14:07It's like, but you guys do have a king.
- 14:09You do realize it's funny, and my friend, by the way, he said something about that.
- 14:13He said, you know, it's no kings.
- 14:15I mean, of course, that doesn't apply to the British monarchy.
- 14:19He was kind of just kidding around.
- 14:20I I you know, I don't know if he was exactly supporting the rally, but he was just joking around because he loves the queen like a lot of, you know, he loves the royal family and all that.
- 14:32It is a contradiction that they say no kings, and you think back during COVID and dictatorship and how we were forced to many people were forced to take the vaccine, or else you lose your livelihood, you lose your job.
- 14:46They wanted to force people who were in the police force, they want to force people in the military if you don't take the vaccine.
- 14:51Right.
- 14:52They want the king there.
- 14:53They want the king when the king's gonna enforce what they believe.
- 14:57Well, that's the hypocrisy of people.
- 14:59Complete hypocrisy.
- 15:00People don't see themselves.
- 15:02Don't you guys realize what you're saying here?
- 15:04You're saying it's a group of little tyrants screaming no kings.
- 15:10And they're all out there in full regalia, no kings, and we don't want this.
- 15:14It's like, wait a minute, time out, time out.
- 15:16Who was forcing you to take a vaccine?
- 15:18Who was saying that they're gonna take away your livelihood?
- 15:20Who was saying that they want children to be able to have sex changes?
- 15:24Who was forcing it?
- 15:25And telling Paris, if you don't do it, we're gonna remove the child from your care.
- 15:28I mean, and this kept going on and on and on.
- 15:31And you can't go to church, you can't go to your place of worship, but you can go to strip joints and you can go buy alcohol, but you can't go to your place of worship.
- 15:38You can't go see mom and dad who are sick at the hospital.
- 15:41You can make just all these you can't, you can't, and now they want to say no kings.
- 15:47Like, who is a king?
- 15:48Joe Biden is gone.
- 15:49He would have he would have been a king.
- 15:51Or Camilla would have been the queen.
- 15:52It's like time out.
- 15:54You guys I'm serious.
- 15:56Do they not see hypocrisy?
- 15:59No, that's and to me, that's the that's the danger because we don't have anyone.
- 16:06And the media save ourselves for Sans, you know, America outlaw, because I've been talking about this for quite some time.
- 16:12But you know, oftentimes I'm even critical of many of our uh uh colleagues on the right who don't just come out and explain a lot of this stuff to their viewers.
- 16:26They'll they'll mention it.
- 16:28But there's always with the question mark as opposed to saying you do you realize what you're being told by the left is wrong, and this is a reason why.
- 16:38To go into those details like we do here.
- 16:41I mean, and I'm completely disappointed.
- 16:43You know, when Trump says the media is a threat to democracy, they're the enemy of the people for our side not to come out and say this is why he's saying this.
- 16:52Well, you have their side, they're saying, oh no, he's lying, and he did this.
- 16:56I mean, they go through all these details, like a litany of things.
- 17:00We don't do a good job.
- 17:02No, not us on After Dark, but the others don't do a good job at pushing back and calling them out.
- 17:08And I often wonder is it because they say, well, they're our colleagues, and we don't want to disparage them, but they would disparage you every chance they get.
- 17:16And you would think that they would have been out like 24-7 saying, what do you mean by no kings?
- 17:22You guys were your side were the ones who were doing XYZ constantly talk about it, constantly mention it.
- 17:29But they don't.
- 17:31It's our voices.
- 17:32Hopefully, our voices are being heard.
- 17:35We're talking about it the same way our voices were explaining what's happening with Iran, and trying to get people to understand people say, Oh, well, this is not America first, but you won't have an America first.
- 17:48If China were to go in and dominate all the oil, they would getting or from Venezuela, and then or from Iran.
- 17:56It's like, people, don't you understand what Trump is doing here?
- 17:59Not to mention how many Americans have these people killed.
- 18:03I mean, this regime, the geopolitics of insenses me when people say, you know, have a hold of that thought.
- 18:13We've got to go to commercial break.
- 18:14Hold that thought, because I want to talk about the geopolitics of this.
- 18:17Then I also want to talk about your article, which will be pretty much what we're going to talk about tonight, which is don't make a deal with the devil.
- 18:25You listen to After Dark of the America Outlaw Talk Radio Network.

- 20:47We're talking about our side not being as pronounced as he should, in my opinion, and explaining things to viewers, especially this whole thing with the No Kings rally, getting them to understand that we don't have a king.
- 21:02It's the left who under Biden were setting themselves up at as a king and dictatorship and telling us what we can and can't do, taking away free speech, telling us you can't go to church, you got to stay inside, you can't visit anyone, and you better take this vaccine and we're going to take your livelihood.
- 21:19Similarly, the war with the conflict with Iran and the left continuously saying that Israel, they're dragging us into this war.
- 21:31They're dragging us when to me, it is so obvious that Saudi Arabia and the other Gov states are saying don't stop until you're taking out this bad regime.
- 21:45Why is it so difficult?
- 21:48Well, I think people want to blame Israel for a lot, Rob.
- 21:52And it's it's an old nasty instinct.
- 21:55It really is.
- 21:56And again, how that goes to them, not the media not explaining to the viewers what's at play here, going back to World War II, because we know that it's not being taught in our schools.
- 22:08The Holocaust is not being taught in our schools.
- 22:10Well, I don't know, Rob.
- 22:11I mean, I think there is some Holocaust education.
- 22:13And I, you know, I actually think the Holocaust is in many ways, this is sounds like a deeply cynical comment, and I I hesitate to say this, but I think that there's actually quite a bit, and I think when it's not taught properly, um, sometimes the Holocaust education can be twisted into something that's negative.
- 22:34Uh let me explain what I mean by that.
- 22:36Um, I think there's been so much um teaching of it a certain way that the Nazis were, of course, they were evil.
- 22:47They happen to be um, I guess they're presented as the right wing, even though really they're there they don't have bear no resemblance to American conservatives or anything.
- 22:59But I think that all militarism, all nationalism in the minds of some people has been tainted because of the Nazis.
- 23:08And a lot of times I I feel like people make comparisons to the Holocaust, people who have a little bit of education, but don't really understand how unique and truly uh horrible an event it was, um, don't really grasp the enormity and the systematic nature and the you know gravity of it.
- 23:32Um they just think of it as oh, you know, and um and a you know, a case of abuse of excess of singling people out, and then they they misapply the paradigm they're told never again, which is um it would be a good thing, and it is a good thing to say, you know, except that when you're over-applying um historical comparisons when suddenly everything is Nazism, including say um efforts to identify and deport people who are here illegally who are engaged in criminal activity, you know, if people aren't particularly smart, or they're they have an axe to grind against Trump or whatever, they can you know try to make these Holocaust comparisons, you know, as if to say, I mean, there's many differences, of course, for one thing, that the Jews of Europe and the others who were persecuted were perfectly innocent civilian populations of people who were persecuted for absolutely no reason.
- 24:40They were not criminals in general, were not quite to the contrary.
- 24:45These were tended to be a very productive law-abiding segment of society who were citizens of the nations in which they were rounded up and systematically brutalized and murdered.
- 24:57You know, you're you're comparing that to people who in this case, for instance, in America now, you have ICE, which is not going after people to put them in death camps or in any camp, but is trying to deport people and they're focused on people who came here illegally who are not citizens who have criminal rap sheets.
- 25:20I mean, and so I mean, that's my understanding anyway.
- 25:25Um, but but so my point is I think some people have been so um inculcated with Holocaust, a certain kind of, you know, maybe it's a shallow kind of Holocaust education.
- 25:39They're not grasping, you know, um that there's a difference between real bigotry and law enforcement.
- 25:48I mean, and they're over applying, you know, this idea that any kind of militarism or um arresting of people is somehow akin to Nazism.
- 25:59So I, you know, in a way, I kind of think I hate to say it, and I I mean I think most Americans are smarter than this, and they know um that you know, this is not the same thing as Nazism, but I mean I think some of the Holocaust education efforts are almost in a way kind of backfiring with certain people with I it's not that I think they really believe that this is a Holocaust.
- 26:25I don't think anybody could really believe that, but I think that they're using it and you know, using Nazi comparisons inappropriately as a way to you know whip people up.
- 26:37You know, we've seen this with politicians and um, you know, the whole business of of uh just just the illegals are being all rounded up and they're being you know brutalized and ICE is like the Nazis and you know, all these, you know, untruths and exaggerations.
- 26:55Um, I just I I don't know that I mean, I I guess if you know Holocaust education is taught in a way that's very serious, and it really actually does get into what was historically unique about that you know, and but but I mean, I you know, sometimes I feel like, yeah, forgive me for saying this, Rob.
- 27:17It sounds cynical, but I sometimes feel like a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
- 27:22Like, like it's better to be a kid on the beach who cares only about getting a tan and getting laid and having your hair look nice than to think you are informed when you're actually only half informed and you're being whipped up and manipulated by a propaganda machine.
- 27:42You know, these kids, not just because, you know, I don't agree with the the worldview.
- 27:46I, you know, I know some people are more liberal, and I, you know, I do understand and respect where they were coming from, especially the liberals of the past.
- 27:55They have a lot of points that needed to be made.
- 27:58I'm not trying to disparage a whole way of thinking, but I do think this modern leftism, as you know, is very reductionist.
- 28:06It's not um, you know, it's kind of like makes a mockery of true education.
- 28:12And I, you know, it's like it's an indoctrination.
- 28:15And I, and I almost feel like kids would be better off just being bobbleheads because uh, you know, it's like at least then they're having fun and they're being kids and they're not obstructing traffic or uh ripping down pictures of missing children or defending criminals, you know, they're not doing stupid things, you know, because they're misguided by a pseudo education.
- 28:46Which is a false education, and as I mentioned, you have somebody these just looking at what's happening here, the lack of knowledge, understanding what's happening with Iran, and for them to blame the Jews when, as I mentioned clearly, it's the the Arab countries that want the Iran regime removed.
- 29:10And at the end of the day, you know, so at this point, I'm thinking, and it's only been a month, if that.
- 29:17But I think the way the media keeps talking about it and making it seem as if though, oh, well, you know, we're losing, this is not happening.
- 29:24And for them to say, oh, well, you know, Trump says he's negotiating with this person, but Iran said he's not.
- 29:30It's like so they're putting more weight on what Iran is saying as opposed to Trump when we see that they've gone in and decimated the military.
- 29:39But yet, and still the media on the left insist on saying, oh, Trump, he's running scared and he doesn't know what to do.
- 29:47He doesn't know how to get out of this.
- 29:48They said that at the beginning of the year saying that Trump was chicken Trump, taco chicken, and that he wasn't gonna do anything to Iran.
- 29:56You had Chuck Schumacher coming out saying, oh, well, he needs to get rid of this regime.
- 30:00You've had so many on the left acknowledging the problem that we have with this regime.
- 30:08But they're great.
- 30:10They refuse like to just say, wait a minute.
- 30:15We even acknowledge this, that there is a problem.
- 30:18Why is it now that they're saying something completely different?
- 30:23And that's the reason why I love the late Tim Russert, because he would come out and run the tape.
- 30:28He would show the tape over and over again when they would say one thing, he would come out and say, Oh no, but remember, you said this earlier on.
- 30:36So I want to play a quick clip of the left, starting with Tony Blinken, acknowledging that there's a problem with Iran.
- 30:45You have senators that are acknowledging the problem.
- 30:48Uh and you even Lord Austin talking about it.
- 30:51And then I want to delve into what Trump is saying now with negotiations with Iran, and they're saying they're going to do this and do that, and talk about your article because, in my humble opinion, excuse me, but screw them.
- 31:06Get rid of it, end it, blow them all up to smither rings, and then say, We're done.
- 31:11Wherever they're hot in those drones, get rid of the drones.
- 31:15I'm sick and tired of the drone attacks.
- 31:17Get rid of all the drones, blow up all the mountains, blow them all up, and then say we're done, and then come home.
- 31:23I don't want our men and women on the ground, blow it up and come home.
- 31:27So here is a tape, as I mentioned of Tony Blinken, and so many others on the left, acknowledging what we've been saying for quite some time.
- 31:37Run the tape.
- 31:38It is riching uh at uh higher levels, uh 20%, even 60%.
- 31:44Uh in small cases, it's using more advanced entities.
- 31:46We're now down published reports to a few months.
- 31:50They continue to enrich at the uh levels and the ways they're doing, it will get down eventually to uh a few weeks.
- 31:57So that is a topic problem.
- 31:58We have an interest in putting that nuclear problem back in the box because Iran with a nuclear problem or with the ability to produce this on material in very short notice to get one because Iran is going to be an even worse actor.
- 32:09Iran has rapidly accelerated its nuclear program and reduced cooperation international inspectors.
- 32:15Their breakout period is down from about a year, which is what we knew it was during the deal, to just a few weeks or less.
- 32:22As the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism, the Iranians, for instance, have directly, or by hiring criminals mounted assassination attempts against dissidents and high ranking current and former U.S.
- 32:36government officials, including right here on American soil.
- 32:41The president will not tolerate attacks on American troops.
- 32:46And neither will I.
- 32:57Yes, it is true.
- 32:58Iran is closer to your nuclear weapon than ever before.
- 33:01Iran, if it chose to get a nuclear weapon, could probably get one before.
- 33:05There you have it.
- 33:06These are all Democrats acknowledging what Trump has been saying.
- 33:11And you have these because Trump is actually doing something about it.
- 33:17They don't like it.
- 33:20And I always say, people say, Well, it wasn't an imminent threat.
- 33:23We had Joe Kent, who's been on our show.
- 33:25We always refer to him as a friend of the show who came on.
- 33:28He really didn't.
- 33:29He's been on a show on uh I think probably like three or four times.
- 33:33Uh-huh.
- 33:34And he even said during the Trump when he was before he resigned that Iran was a threat, and he posted on Twitter that Trump needs to act now.
- 33:44Now all at once, everyone wants to blame Israel.
- 33:47Oh, Israel, they dragged us into the world.
- 33:48What happened to him, Rob?
- 33:50What happened to you?
- 33:50What happened to what happened to all of them?
- 33:52That's my question.
- 33:53What happened to all of them?
- 33:55I don't know.
- 33:56You know, this reminds me of something that I wanted to share with our listeners.
- 34:00It's a very big disappointment to me to hear this is anti-Semitism.
- 34:06And it is anti-Semitism because there's no evidence that Israel dragged Donald Trump into anything.
- 34:14America and Israel are strong allies.
- 34:16Everybody knows that we're united and we have a similar um problem.
- 34:22We we're 100% aligned when it comes to combating radical Islam.
- 34:27That's a natural alliance.
- 34:29That's something that exists.
- 34:31It's not the fact that we have a common enemy isn't something that anybody dragged anybody.
- 34:38I mean, other than the fact that Iran makes school children stand there every morning and scream, death to America, death to Israel, death to America first, by the way, because America's the big Satan.
- 34:50Israel's the little Satan.
- 34:52And I this is straight from the mouths of my friends who grew up in Iran.
- 34:57Um their whole culture, the regime is is built around indoctrinating people to hate first America.
- 35:04And remember, when they grabbed our hostages from the embassy, and that had nothing to do with Israel.
- 35:12I mean, they I don't know if it had nothing to do, but I mean, they know that we're allies with it, but I mean they didn't grab Israelis that day, they grabbed Americans.
- 35:20They didn't uh bomb 241 Israeli soldiers in 1983 via Hezbollah.
- 35:26They they bombed American soldiers and killed them in their sleep, the way these cowards fight, you know, that's how they do it.
- 35:33They terrorize, and that's why, by the way, our president and our troops job is so hard now.
- 35:40If they were to go in, um, these are people, this is an enemy, and and Israel and Israelis understand this, and uh does those people who follow closely understand that what this enemy does is it it provokes fights, it does not invest in any protection for the children of this of their country.
- 36:03They're willing to sacrifice their children.
- 36:06In fact, I'm talking about the regime, I'm not saying everybody there.
- 36:10Um, this is part of the tragedy of um the way the these Islamist fanatics fight.
- 36:17Israel and Israelis have had to deal with this for 80 years now.
- 36:22And sadly, uh, you know, when these these people they provoke the fight, you know, then when Israelis are forced to to defend themselves and defend their borders, sometimes the the civilians get it really bad, and that's by design.
- 36:40That is part of the way the enemy fights and to these people who see it from the outside and just want to vilify Israel.
- 36:48Well, they're not the ones whose security is going to be ruined, whose lives are going to be ruined, whose children are going to be killed if they don't fight back.
- 37:00I mean, that's it's easy for people far away to judge, but you know, now America is in this situation, and I you know, I hear you, Rob, about not wanting to put boots on the ground.
- 37:10I don't either, but I will say one of the reasons Israel sometimes puts boots on the ground is in order to spare civilian lives on the other side.
- 37:21You know, Israel does this sometimes they send the IDF soldiers, young men and women, they send them in because the way the Palestinian so-called leadership fights, it weaves its so-called fighters, it's terrorists in among civilian homes, it puts weapons and ordinance in uh hospitals, under schools, under churches.
- 37:44This is why, by the way, some churches have been damaged.
- 37:47It's because this is guerrilla warfare, and these bastards, excuse my language, that's how they fight.
- 37:55They have no honor, not the way we think of honor.
- 37:59I mean, their honor is about dying for Allah and taking as many martyrs with them as they can, and whoever's pulling the strings, I I don't think it's usually their kids on the front lines, but I mean it's this philosophy of you know, so if the children die, they're martyrs.
- 38:17I mean, you can hear uh Yasser Arafat talking about this on tape.
- 38:21He said the child who is facing the tank with Iraq with, you know, is he not the best symbol to the world of Palestine, something like that.
- 38:31You know, in other words, they're sending their children out to you know throw rocks at armed soldiers.
- 38:38That's how they fight.
- 38:40That's a perfect metaphor.
- 38:42They fight dirty, they fight dirty very dirty, very dirty.
- 38:46We're up another commercial break, but when we come back, I want to delve into your uh your article, which is uh really our topic tonight, don't make a deal with the devil.
- 38:54Mainly, you know, Trump don't believe anything that the Iranians are saying.
- 38:57They keep saying, Well, we're gonna do this, we're gonna do that, and we know that it's not true.
- 39:01So you listen to After Dark of the America Outlaw Talk Radio Network, we'll be back for the last half of the show after this brief commercial break.

- 40:12Back with the last half of the show.
- 40:15And I want to delve into our topic tonight.
- 40:17Heather had uh seated up for us.
- 40:20What's going on with Iran?
- 40:22And it pretty much centers on an article that she recently wrote.
- 40:26Don't make a deal with the devil.
- 40:28And I'm hearing Trump saying that he's negotiating with Iran.
- 40:31The Iranians are saying that they're not.
- 40:33I do believe that he is talking to someone in Iran.
- 40:36I think that they're afraid to show their faces or even say their names out of fear that Israel might come in and take them out.
- 40:42And if they do, so be it.
- 40:44But I do believe that negotiations are going on.
- 40:48I would like for the people of Iran to start standing up, put some skin in the game.
- 40:54I I know that there's a concern that they might lose their lives.
- 40:58But we've opened up a window for them to come out.
- 41:03And say we're going to take our control of our government.
- 41:07I don't know if I have any confidence in the Shah of Iran who's here.
- 41:11He wanted Trump to go in and attack Trump has done it.
- 41:14I don't see any efforts he has made to put together a coalition to help him come back into power.
- 41:21So to me, he's out.
- 41:23We need someone to stand up and say, we're going to do this.
- 41:29Can't be afraid.
- 41:30And if it means that your life is on the line, so be it.
- 41:32Look at what we're doing.
- 41:34I mean, we have opened the door for you to walk through.
- 41:39It's now time for them to stand up and do it.
- 41:43Seize the moment.
- 41:45But until such time, all of this backwards and forward.
- 41:50I don't feel comfortable with.
- 41:52And as your article mentioned, Heather, don't make a deal with the devil.
- 41:57These Iranians have been promising and promising, but we're not going to do this, and we're not going to do that.
- 42:01Yet and still they keep doing it.
- 42:03Blow the mountains away to smither rings, reshape the geographical uh setup there, and be done with it.
- 42:10And then let's go home and let them figure it out.
- 42:14What are your thoughts on Heather?
- 42:15Well, I can I'm going to cite Mithal Al-Alusi, who is my source on this in this article.
- 42:21He's a an former parliamentarian, an Iraqi uh great man.
- 42:27He uh was elected to the Iraqi parliament twice, and he came out in favor of normalizing relations between the Arab world, specifically Iraq and Israel.
- 42:39He's a real progressive.
- 42:40He went to Israel in 2005, I believe, to attend a counter-terrorism conference.
- 42:46And while he was there, he started receiving death threats.
- 42:49And shortly afterward, terrorists murdered his two sons.
- 42:53They were young men who had come with him to help rebuild Iraq.
- 42:58Um their father, he had been, he grew up in Iraq, he was a dissident during Saddam Hussein's time.
- 43:05Uh, he went to study um in Egypt and and then built a business in Germany, but he returned um with them because they had high hopes for for democracy in Iraq, that his kids were murdered, he was very brave, he he refused to be intimidated, stayed in Iraq, got on the ballot, and continued to speak his truth, which was that this kind of hatred of Israel, refusal to work together in business in counterterrorism was a backward way of thinking.
- 43:36Um, and he had a constituency, albeit a small one, but he there were people there in Iraq who supported him, brave people, they voted for him more than once.
- 43:46He served in parliament, and so I met him when he came to America years ago, he received an award from the American Jewish Committee called the uh Moral Courage Award, is when I had the honor of meeting him.
- 43:57This was back in 2005, and I started interviewing him.
- 44:01I've covered him and his career for many years, and he uh I just think is a great source about the region because he's had his um antennas up about Iran all along, of the many years I've known him.
- 44:17He felt that the terrorists who murdered his sons had some connection to Iran.
- 44:21He has told me many things about how Tehran, how the regime has undermined Iraq, the national nascent state of Iraq that our service members lost limbs and lives and to help build, you know, sadly, according to Mithal, this man Mithal Al-Alusi, sadly, it's been corrupted uh because many of the Islamists in parliament in Iraq are bribed according to Al-Alusi by Iran.
- 44:50Um militias, you remember the Iraqi insurgency, which kept going on for decades, and you know, all those roadside bombs that tore the limbs off of our service members.
- 45:02We now know that they were many of them made in Iran, that they were Qasim Suleimani who Trump assassinated.
- 45:11Um he was the father of the roadside bomb, he came up with the idea.
- 45:15Sure enough, Mithal Al-Alusi was telling me as early as uh 2006.
- 45:20He was telling me that Iran was um playing both sides of the so-called Iraqi insurgency, that even though the Iranians are Shia, and you know, some people think say, oh, well, the Sishia and the Sunni are fighting, and that's true.
- 45:35But you know, what what Al-Alusi told me was that when it comes to fomenting chaos and being anti-American, many of these people are very connected.
- 45:46Uh, Tehran is financing both sides, and that wound up bear, you know, being born out.
- 45:52What he told me um, you know, within a few years was uh common knowledge.
- 45:56He also told me about the bribing of Iraqi politicians, that the that Iran tried to bribe him to be anti-American and anti-Israel, he wouldn't have it.
- 46:06You know, he's told me many, many things that have um that would shock you, but the main thing he had to say now, and this is in my article, which was published uh last week in National Review, uh, is that he believes the big useful tool is for for winning this war is to stop the money flowing through Iraq to Iran.
- 46:29He says that because the Iraqi government is largely corrupt, and because the these Iraqi militias, they're like um kind of like ISIS.
- 46:39They do what they want, they've taken over in Iraq, they're funded by Iran, and according to Al-Alusi, they literally they transport money from Iran, from Iraq, excuse me, into Iran.
- 46:52We're talking about billions of dollars, massive, massive money from so from oil sales, including soy sales to America.
- 47:00So that means that indirectly American money is has been funding the regime of Iran.
- 47:07Uh that they they circumvent sanctions, they find ways to just get around the sanctions against Iran.
- 47:14Basically, they're just I I don't know all the details of the banking and how it works and whether it's physically carrying piles of cash or it's using the banking system, but he says that Iranian Iraq Iranians are the Iraqis are the handmaidens of the Iranians now.
- 47:31And I know that's a very upsetting thing to to be told after all the blood and treasure that was sacrificed to build a democratic Iraq.
- 47:40But according to him, and he's a person who's proven his character through many years of standing strong by Israel, standing strong for human rights, for women's rights.
- 47:52Uh he's escaped, you know, he's managed to survive numerous assassination attempts.
- 47:57So this guy is like the Victor Laszlo of Iraq.
- 48:01For those of you who liked Casablanca, you know, he's a true person of character.
- 48:06And he, you know, I think his his views are very worth considering because of that.
- 48:12And so this is his positioning.
- 48:13He thinks that President Trump, he what he said to me is making a deal with the regime would be like making a deal with Hitler in the last few days of his life.
- 48:25It's absurd.
- 48:26I mean, the regime is on its way out.
- 48:29You know, don't start making concessions now.
- 48:32You know, he has some ideas, some creative ideas, in addition to the you know, physical use of war, you know, ordinance, and you know, he thinks that the financial system can be a big tool to just starve the Iranian government out.
- 48:47He believes that the key is the army.
- 48:50Um, Rob, you know, I hear what you're saying about the Iranian people.
- 48:54We saw some of them have been heroic these past couple years, including young people massacred by the thousands.
- 49:01But I think, and and I think Elusi believes from what he told me, they're an unarmed civilian population.
- 49:08And for them to take over the government, I mean, there are such things, I guess.
- 49:14I don't know if there's anything like that in history.
- 49:16I mean, revolutions require arms.
- 49:19I mean, whether it's the American revolution, the French Revolution, the Russian revolution.
- 49:23I mean, yes, there were students and who were the ideological leaders of those revolutions, but they were working with groups of people who had organized who were armed.
- 49:35Now, this is why we have a second amendment.
- 49:37One of the reasons here in this country is as a hedge against tyranny.
- 49:41There is no such thing in Iran.
- 49:43These people, they're at the mercy of this regime because they don't have weapons.
- 49:48So his point is, you know, a certain number of people are going to be heroes, but the masses of people aren't going to do that.
- 49:54The best hope is to get the army to turn.
- 49:57And he thinks that can happen.
- 49:59He thinks that one.
- 50:00What he said is that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the IRGC, they're kind of like, you know, again, if I may use a Nazi comparison, you know, I I know I said I'm against Nazi comparisons, but I think in this case, it's it's okay because we're talking about a true fanatic brutal regime.
- 50:20Like it's not an exaggeration to say there's some similarities.
- 50:24He's saying that the IRGC is kind of like the SS.
- 50:30And the army is kind of like the German army was.
- 50:33It's most it's conscripts mostly.
- 50:35It's people who are in the army because they want a salary to feed their families.
- 50:41And most of them, according to Elusi, are not necessarily the true believers.
- 50:46They're not fanatics necessarily.
- 50:48The army is mostly regular guys.
- 50:51And so his point is they have weapons, they have training.
- 50:55If the government of Iran runs out of money to pay them, you know, you might just get them mad enough to take on the SS people, the uh, you know, Islamic the IRGC.
- 51:10That's what you have, you know.
- 51:11You need people who are capable of fighting these like SS people.
- 51:16I mean, you know, his analogy was it would be kind of like you know, having the German people rise up and take over, fight the SS.
- 51:23I mean, they they would have all been mown down, probably, but the German army could have done it, you know.
- 51:30So that that's what he thinks should happen.
- 51:32Um, in terms of how I guess that's that's a matter of uh, you know, I don't know.
- 51:40I banking mines and military mines, but those were his thoughts, and I just, you know, tried to be um, you know, a receptacle for them in in writing this piece.
- 51:52But do you think that Trump should be making a deal with the Iranians, whoever he's negotiating with.
- 52:03No, I think it's ridiculous.
- 52:04I think it's ridiculous.
- 52:05I mean, they're we know they're liars, this regime, and now they're infuriated.
- 52:11Why should we?
- 52:12I mean, the point is they should be surrendering and short of an unconditional surrender.
- 52:19The other, you know, there's no reason to think, I mean, there's no reason to leave them in power and believe they're going to be better if they're not completely defeated, and they are the whole thing's moot anyway, Rob, because they basically just refuse Trump's offer, which Al Lucy had told me might happen early last week.
- 52:43He said they they want to humiliate him personally, so they may just reject it flat out.
- 52:49You know, these people are fanatics.
- 52:52And you know, he doesn't feel that President Trump or great President Trump necessarily is understanding.
- 52:58I mean, he understanding that.
- 53:00Um, you know, President Trump, I I can't say what's in his head.
- 53:05He does tend to try things, you know, to give people the benefit of the doubt and believe deals can be made.
- 53:12He's a pragmatist.
- 53:15You know, and maybe he's just wanted to give it a shot before going to DEF CON 5.
- 53:24I, you know, I or maybe he got a lot of people.
- 53:27I think he's giving it for it.
- 53:28He has giving them every opportunity possible to make a deal.
- 53:36I mean, it goes back to his first term.
- 53:40No enrichment of uranium.
- 53:43What don't they understand?
- 53:46When he came back into office, he said, no enrichment.
- 53:50I think it was around this time.
- 53:52He said, I'm gonna give you until a certain time frame.
- 53:55You guys decide.
- 53:56And they kept towing around, pussy fitting around.
- 53:59Oh, well, we're gonna do this.
- 54:00Oh, well, you know, excuse after excuse.
- 54:03And then finally he went in and just bombed them.
- 54:07Iran is hoping that our media tells the story for them, and they are.
- 54:15They they our media has done, I mean, the propaganda that's coming out of Iran that our media is keeps pushing is unbelievable.
- 54:22But at some point, I think that I mean, I'm already at that point.
- 54:28You guys can see I'm already there.
- 54:29Uh and it's only been a month, a little over I mean, right at a month, I think, that we went in.
- 54:37And because we hear so much about it, w it seems as if though we've been there for like years, but we haven't.
- 54:43But I want this thing to end and end quickly.
- 54:48I don't want this to impact the midterms.
- 54:52Uh because the media on the left, they're doing a good job at demonizing Republicans.
- 54:59Republicans, we just don't do a good job at defending ourselves and coming out and saying, but guys, look, this is this is why we're doing it.
- 55:05And then you have a lot of panickings who get nervous and say, oh my God, I don't want our bloodshed, and I don't want this.
- 55:10I'm like, folks, you have to understand the geopolitics of all of this.
- 55:15Trump goes into Venezuela, he cuts up their supply of oil, he takes it so that China, who's been in our backyard trying to pull them in to control all this.
- 55:27And now I'm just hearing that Trump is gonna allow Russia to send a cargo of oil to Cuba.
- 55:33No, don't do that.
- 55:34Let Cuba fall.
- 55:35I want Cuba to fall.
- 55:36I want Cuba just to go down.
- 55:38We have got to take control of all this.
- 55:42Because there are too many.
- 55:44If once Trump is out of office, that's it.
- 55:47Democrats come back into power, that's it for America.
- 55:50Believe me, that isn't it.
- 55:52Because they don't care about America.
- 55:54They're more concerned about illegals.
- 55:56And if Trump is unable to clean this up, put a bow tie on it so that the Iranians can never come back to power again.
- 56:03That's it, it's over.
- 56:04So all of you who keep saying, oh, this is Israel, no, it's not.
- 56:08I do believe this is the gov state, they're looking at this and they're saying we need to neutralize this threat now and not later.
- 56:16Because if we don't, there will be hill to pay for folks.
- 56:20Guess what?
- 56:20We're all out of time.
- 56:21And there's so much I wanted to get into with Heather on this.
- 56:24We're gonna come back again next week, next Sunday, and continue the conversation.
- 56:29But in my opinion, don't make a deal with the devil, President Trump.
- 56:33You've been listening to after dark of the America Outlaw Talk Radio Network.
- 56:36My co host tonight is Heather Robinson, who's reporting live from Florida.
- 56:40I mean I'm sorry, from California.
- 56:42As we always say with the show, God bless, God bless America, God bless Israel, and we'll see you next time on America out loud after dark.
- 56:50Thank you.
