- 0:11Sunny South Florida, bringing you the latest in politics
- 0:15current events and pop culture. This is he's the Whitfield
- 0:19Report with Sam Whitfield. Alrighty folks, welcome to the
- 0:32Whitfield report Monday Edition. We usually don't do live shows
- 0:38on Monday, but we're doing things a little differently this
- 0:42week because we're gonna make things going on.
- 0:48We're going to be having we're going to be having Kurt Jew
- 0:52little on the program on Wednesday.
- 0:54But that will be pre-recorded because he prefers that we With
- 1:00that way. So we're going to honor the
- 1:02guest wishes so. And so, for that reason alone, I
- 1:07figured I would give you a live show today, and I know it's kind
- 1:11of impromptu. But nevertheless, we're live on
- 1:17Odyssey and I think Rumble, but I'm not really sure because
- 1:24rumbles back and is still glitchy and you can't tell Well
- 1:30Bilal Jank just a little Jake. Yeah but regardless the replay
- 1:36will be available on both places and of course on Spotify Apple
- 1:41podcast and everywhere else. We thank you for stopping
- 1:45wherever you're watching and you're listening joining me
- 1:49today is Max sand, right? Go out this point, it was six
- 1:55months ago though, I'm actually just look at this up when you
- 1:57were first on the show, Out. So basically shoot the shit with
- 2:03a cabana, I and discuss your, you're broadcasting career, so
- 2:10yeah, yeah, yeah. Shout out.
- 2:12Talk about, you know, I know that, I know that a lot of
- 2:15people want to tase him, you know.
- 2:19I'm for it. I think, I think, I think he
- 2:21could monetize that, to be honest with you, I asked him for
- 2:25a recommendation because, like, I'm not a weed, right?
- 2:28But people keep telling me like Jay, A RPGs are good and he's
- 2:31like the only we by know. So I was like, what's a good
- 2:34jrpg? And he's like, get this random
- 2:38Japanese PlayStation 1 game from 1998.
- 2:41And I'm like, I was looking for something a little more modern,
- 2:45just a little. Well yeah, I mean I've actually
- 2:50I would but he has basically like his whole thing with the
- 2:54racing a lagoon. He's very persistent about his
- 2:58love of Racing League. Own to the point where like I'm
- 3:02actually like looked up on YouTube and like watched videos
- 3:09on it and I can see why he likes it.
- 3:11But like, I don't I'm not interested in enough and it's a
- 3:15go play it myself. But well then I had to go on my
- 3:18own and try and figure it out and I played a couple of them
- 3:21and I realized that Jap we shit is just weird and probably not
- 3:26for me most of the time. Well, the thing is It is he like
- 3:32he used to be like I'm not a weed.
- 3:34I'm I'm like, half Mexican and eventually I think the coin
- 3:41merch and I were just like leaning into it is so he has.
- 3:46So but we're not here to, you know, to talk about gaming today
- 3:52at least but so some interesting news has broken and Judging from
- 4:00be a person or two talking about it, right?
- 4:03Just just because if there's one thing I mean I think Max I have
- 4:09a lot in common but if there's one thing that we definitely
- 4:11have in common that not a lot of other streamers have it's the
- 4:16unlike the rest of the commentators out there these
- 4:20days max and I are anti Doomer And the the do MERS just to cut
- 4:32to the quick are saying that the entire banking system is going
- 4:39to fail. And basically the 2008 recession
- 4:45is happening all over again, but it's worse and this is going to
- 4:52lead to like the Second Great Depression and somehow somehow
- 4:57the apocalypse is tied to this according to some random Twitter
- 5:01people. I don't know, right?
- 5:03So let's let's get right off the Jump with that one.
- 5:06So do the New York Stock Exchange has closed.
- 5:11So we have closing numbers for the day in the Dow Jones.
- 5:14Industrial Average has plummeted a staggering Point eight
- 5:20percent, that's 0.8%. Not much of a crash on that
- 5:28regard. However we have seen a couple of
- 5:30banks declare themselves insolvent and in try and get
- 5:35bail out. We've seen the, what is it?
- 5:39The Silicon Valley Bank. Which, I mean, that's an
- 5:42interesting thing I can get into.
- 5:44Like, why that bank in particular if you want Because
- 5:48it's not what a lot of people would think.
- 5:52It's not like they were just, you know, screwing over normal
- 5:55people. The thing is, is what is A
- 5:58bank's, primary function besides holding money for you?
- 6:03Do you know, I think red regular I think it's like regulating
- 6:11currency or something. If I'm if I'm not, I'm not not
- 6:15for a bank so much as its investment right credit specific
- 6:21credit. So, if you're a bank and you're
- 6:25not loaning your money out, that means you're sitting on it.
- 6:28And so, when you think about the Silicon Valley Bank, what's
- 6:30unique about that it's the Silicon Valley Bank right
- 6:34obviously? The people using that bank Most
- 6:38of them don't need. Exactly a fucking loan, they're
- 6:41kind of rolling in dough. So rather than try and make
- 6:46their, you know, interest and everything back on loans.
- 6:51They decided that they were going to just play the stock
- 6:55market more like a mutual fund and there's there's a couple
- 7:00other kinks in this that we can talk to as to why it might have
- 7:03gone this direction but essentially mismanaged to their
- 7:06funds. Made a lot of really, really bad
- 7:09Investments on behalf of their their clients.
- 7:13You know, the people whose money was in the bank and weren't
- 7:17making a lot of loans and that is not a way for a bank to
- 7:22remain solvent and so we saw it. And then, of course, the news
- 7:26that a bank had gone under immediately makes people uneasy
- 7:30but specially with the state of the economy.
- 7:32And so we have seen I believe there's there's three banks that
- 7:35are either Closing or on the, on the kind of cusp of it.
- 7:42And it's all for the same reason, but none more than
- 7:45Silicon Valley Bank because they were not acting as a normal
- 7:50bank. They were kind of acting more in
- 7:52the kind of capacity of a trade a day trader on your behalf if
- 7:56that makes sense. Did I explain that okay?
- 7:59Yeah. Yeah you've heard you pretty
- 8:01much did because the reality is a lot of this shit is like
- 8:05extremely fucking Autistic in, like, detail-oriented and
- 8:10boring. So, I'm trying to give it to
- 8:12like, I want, I want the average person who watches this to
- 8:15understand what has happened here and why Yeah, and you did a
- 8:20pretty good job. The other thing that I keep
- 8:23hearing and I was just checking the stream status but we are
- 8:29live on Rumble to I guess. So welcome to everyone there but
- 8:35I keep seeing that this is tied to the whole sandbank manfried
- 8:42you know Scandal and some people are saying that that's why the
- 8:47its Completely removed from it. But it's It's tough to say that
- 8:55that's a cause of it as more of a contributing factor.
- 9:00So they were doing a very similar kind of investing in
- 9:03crypto obviously, as you know, and they were acting in a very
- 9:07similar manner. I believe money went through
- 9:11Silicon, Valley Bank from the FTX thing.
- 9:16So there is like They're, they're tied together to, to, No
- 9:21Surprise of anyone. However, the cause of it seems
- 9:25to be more in internal culture, at Silicon, Valley Bank, who
- 9:30being from Silicon Valley. As you might expect, we're very
- 9:33proud of their diversity equity and inclusion initiatives, and
- 9:38many of the top Executives making these decisions,
- 9:42particularly there's been a woman going around on social
- 9:45media. Who her job is literally the
- 9:47risk. Assessment officer at the
- 9:49company, but then you read her profile and it's basically I'm
- 9:53black, I'm gay or whatever it was.
- 9:55She's the thing, she has her pronouns and all of that.
- 9:59And this is the person in charge of managing the risks of that
- 10:03bang. She was a diversity hire.
- 10:06Now, she's qualified. I'm not going to say she's not
- 10:08qualified, but I am going to say that she and the company that
- 10:12the bank itself focused, so heavily on diversity equity, and
- 10:16inclusion initiatives. That I would make the argument
- 10:20that they did not get the best people in place for the job to
- 10:23manage the risks. And I think that the results
- 10:25bear that out, that now, this, this bank is completely like
- 10:29done for Yeah, for sure. So yeah, it was so it wasn't, it
- 10:40wasn't, you know, the bank, when freed thing that fucked me over,
- 10:44it was all these diversity initiatives that a my
- 10:48understanding. I think a solid case could be
- 10:51made for that. Yes, I can't say like
- 10:54definitively. That's why these decisions were
- 10:57made but it doesn't like where there's smoke.
- 11:00Maybe there's fire kind of thing.
- 11:01NG. Yeah.
- 11:04And again, what really at the end of the day, what really did
- 11:07them in wasn't political at all? It was their clientele was rich
- 11:14Tech tycoons from Silicon Valley, and those kind of people
- 11:18don't take a lot of loans and so, rather than opening up to,
- 11:22maybe the community that they lived in more or trying to get
- 11:26people, you know, on the lower end of the income scale and do
- 11:29loans to them because loans is Best way for your bank to make
- 11:33money. It's free money.
- 11:33Essentially if you did you don't understand.
- 11:36You know, the loan on the banks and is insured.
- 11:39If you don't pay it back, right? They do have to go through
- 11:42hoops, they do have to go to court and things like that, but
- 11:44they can get reimbursed. If you don't pay the loan back
- 11:48and then it gets sent to a collections agency or things
- 11:51like that, but it the whole time they're also not only going to
- 11:57get paid back the principal loan that you took.
- 11:59They're going to get paid back in.
- 12:01As well by the government. So there's no real downside for
- 12:05a bank to make loans. It's just seems like they were
- 12:08dealing with, such large quantities of cash and that they
- 12:13had. So few people willing to do
- 12:15loans that they were like, oh well, we can just start just
- 12:18start playing the stock market. Let's grab a couple, mutual
- 12:21funds and and let's find some hedge funds.
- 12:25We can throw money in and FTX was one of those failed
- 12:30Ventures, for sure. That's why they're tied
- 12:32together. The money went through Silicon
- 12:36Valley Bank in a lot of cases, not all the cases.
- 12:40Certainly there's a lot in the like the Bermuda area and in
- 12:43some other like the Cayman Islands and stuff because
- 12:45they're a bunch of shady bastards trying to avoid taxes.
- 12:50But at the end of the day, this Bank made bad financial
- 12:53decisions and they do not deserve to be bailed out.
- 12:56And as a matter of fact, bailing them out is probably the worst
- 13:00thing that you could do for the economy because you need to let
- 13:04the so the flip. Why are the banks pushing this?
- 13:09Now, is the question and I actually have I have a good
- 13:14solid theory on this, because this happens about every 15
- 13:19years or so. and the banks have decided that they don't like the
- 13:24interest rate hike at the Federal Reserve that just went
- 13:27down and went up by Five Points which is Is a lot but I am.
- 13:32I'm actually really going home. I think they need to go up
- 13:35another five or ten points. Like the interest rate is so low
- 13:39that it's not in line with even inflation.
- 13:42Let alone fucking the ability to profit off it but that's a
- 13:47that's a side tangent. There's so much information
- 13:50here. I'm trying to kind of
- 13:51compartmentalize and not ramble. So what's going on is the banks
- 13:56have seen this as a weakness in the system they're real.
- 14:00Shushing 2008. They're saying we don't like
- 14:02these Heights hikes and if you don't reverse those hikes,
- 14:06they're trying to bully the FED. Essentially, if you don't
- 14:08reverse those hikes, we're all going to go out of business and
- 14:11of course that news scares the absolute shit out of normal
- 14:15people, which is exactly what it's designed to do, right?
- 14:18Did this intentionally so that they can grift off the
- 14:22government try and Bully the fat into lowering interest rates as
- 14:27well as get some bailout money for free?
- 14:30And that's what this is all about.
- 14:31It's a grift. And we shouldn't be bailing them
- 14:34out. And in the process of all that,
- 14:36there's another thing called toxic assets and they have lots
- 14:41and lots of toxic Assets in some of these Banks.
- 14:44What that means in a nutshell, is essentially, let's say, it's
- 14:49downside of giving loans, right? Let's say that you gave a loan
- 14:53to me for five hundred dollars, right?
- 14:56And you knew when you made that loan, the odds of Paying you
- 15:00back in full and on time and reasonably was really, really
- 15:04low, right? And now it's come up and I
- 15:07haven't paid and you know that fairly soon.
- 15:11You're going to actually have to take this to collections.
- 15:14You're going to have to go through all these legal
- 15:15paperwork, things you're going to have to hire a collections
- 15:18agency. You're going to have to have
- 15:20them hunt me down to pay you back this money, right?
- 15:22And that's actually a lot of fucking.
- 15:25So what happens is he collection agencies by up?
- 15:29Those Assets for way less than they're worth because they know
- 15:33they're toxic to. So they're trying to reshuffle
- 15:36all these toxic assets and push them out of the system.
- 15:40So they don't have to deal with the repercussions of the bad
- 15:42decisions that they have made and they're trying to pass it
- 15:45off via a bailout to the taxpayer and I hope that
- 15:50explains it. That's the best I can probably.
- 15:52Yeah. Isn't that?
- 15:54I mean, because I was around for like the funny thing of it is is
- 16:00I kind of started like my political / podcasting career
- 16:05doing the, during the 2008 financial crisis.
- 16:08So, I remember, you know, some of that but essentially, and I
- 16:14guess, and they did all that back.
- 16:16Then to, they did the task asset swap, which is like Fannie and
- 16:20Freddie. That's the whole reason.
- 16:21Fannie and Freddie went under. Yeah, exactly.
- 16:23Buckled under the weight of all these toxic assets.
- 16:26From the subprime mortgages. My parents were subprime.
- 16:29Mortgage And then eventually lost the house because that's
- 16:33why we shouldn't have been doing subprime mortgages to begin
- 16:36with. Yeah.
- 16:37So I remember and I remember that and so I guess my question
- 16:42and you just kind of answered it was so I you know, I guess
- 16:45that's what I guess. That's why people are comparing
- 16:48this to the the 2008 financial, both of them are a series of Bad
- 16:54Decisions by the Banks, which is being kind of white washed over
- 16:59as all. There is Nothing we could do.
- 17:01It's just, you know, it's just the market, it's not just the
- 17:03market it, they're throwing a temper tantrum because the rates
- 17:07got raised and while that happened, this one bank was like
- 17:12mentally deficient and did a whole bunch of really stupid
- 17:16things. And went out of business, and
- 17:18they used that to try and convince the populace that they
- 17:22need bailouts again. And I actually think it's not
- 17:25like you can't sell bailouts to normies even the Left-right-left
- 17:32will just say you can bail out, but I can't get free health care
- 17:35or whatever, right? Like, they're not going to buy
- 17:36it either. I don't know who they're trying
- 17:38to sell the bailout idea to aside from the Biden Edmund
- 17:41itself, and it seems that they have already kind of agreed to
- 17:46it. Unfortunately.
- 17:48Well, our, let me out, let me ask you this though, are you
- 17:53surprised? Because I mean, what's not even
- 17:56slightly? Yeah.
- 17:58Well, the fact, the the thing of it is was like I remember like I
- 18:07actually I never brought this upon the show but I I do read
- 18:12The Wall Street Journal and they do have some good podcast and
- 18:17they did a whole there was a they do like a they do like a
- 18:23daily Morning Show and I remember one of the one of the
- 18:27shows that they did right before Or right before, Biden took
- 18:32office was they did a profile piece in this podcast on Janet
- 18:38Yellen. Now, Janet Yellen from my
- 18:42recollection, she was for those that don't know, former Fed
- 18:46chair. Now treasury secretary under the
- 18:48Biden ministration rights are, I'm sorry to interrupt but I've
- 18:51no, no, I Port. I appreciate that but I current
- 18:55Fed chair is Jerome Powell. Who was a trump appointee?
- 19:00I have mixed feelings on Jerome. He is prone to raising rates
- 19:05though and so I do kind of like him because I'm a, I'm a big
- 19:10gung-ho. The rate should reflect the
- 19:12actual interest rate. Not you know what they wish it
- 19:16was especially after we did almost 10 years of quantitative
- 19:20easing. My thing I remember about Janet
- 19:25Yellen though. What it's like in that I
- 19:28remember I remember, I remember reading a piece in National
- 19:32Review about her basically that back when Jim before Jonah
- 19:37Goldberg lost his lost his fucking mind over Trump back.
- 19:43When I used to respect you and Goldberg, he basically wrote a
- 19:47piece on or like 15 years ago saying, wait, isn't she another,
- 19:52you know, isn't she just another Wall Street crony, you know
- 19:57groaning yourself a so why? Why would she say she's worse?
- 20:01So okay. Yeah, we'll go back, we'll go
- 20:03back a few. We got Greenblatt.
- 20:07He wasn't terrible. He wasn't good.
- 20:09He was just there, right? Then you moved into Bernanke
- 20:13right? You know, Obama guy quantitative
- 20:18easing, right? Just just non-stop first.
- 20:21It was oh qe1 and cute for those that don't know.
- 20:25Quantitative easing means printing, ridiculously, large
- 20:28amounts of money. Giving them to Banks instead of
- 20:32a bailout in, if what I just said, sounds a lot, like it
- 20:36would cause inflation remember that.
- 20:38The next time you go to the goddamn grocery store or the gas
- 20:41pump because that, yes, you're correct.
- 20:43If you thought that. So that was Bernanke.
- 20:48I believe it was Bernanke. I'm and Janet Yellen came in and
- 20:53she continued exactly as he did right until Trump Called for her
- 21:00removal, which the president does have a right to do and
- 21:03replaced her with Jerome. Powell.
- 21:06And so Jerome Powell has seen this previous because this is
- 21:09important to, you know, the whole story I know.
- 21:13It's I know it's a lot in we're no no getting into the weeds but
- 21:20that she do on this podcast. So she had like I said close to
- 21:2410 maybe 15 years worth of quantitative easing eventually
- 21:28they just called it QE. Right?
- 21:29And they were just printing unlimited money under Bush,
- 21:33which led to the 2008 collapse in large part and then they did
- 21:37it again under Obama because we had already rebounded from that
- 21:412008 collapse to a large degree, we didn't see this inflation,
- 21:46and then Trump had policies in place, cutting regulations,
- 21:52energy policies, things like that, that and immigration as
- 21:55well. The made these things less of an
- 21:58issue during the truck. Administration.
- 22:00But you notice almost to the day when Biden took office, We're
- 22:06seeing it trickle in almost overnight.
- 22:10It's not an accident. It's not a coincidence and it is
- 22:13all directly due to Joe Biden's policy proposals are at least as
- 22:17Administration if you don't think he's doing it himself.
- 22:20Well, one of the one of the starkest examples that I always
- 22:25that I always gives like my Uber norming friends about the, you
- 22:30know, about inflation right now is You know, the price of if you
- 22:37went to McDonald's a year and a half ago and I and I know this
- 22:43because when I was in college, I would go to McDonald's a lot for
- 22:47convenience. But you used to be able to get a
- 22:51Coke for for a dollar flat and like a quarter pounder was only
- 22:56like a meal was only like seven ninety-nine now.
- 23:03Well, I mean It's McDonald's did raise their minimum wage.
- 23:07So I grant that with McDonald's. Matushka, that happened like
- 23:11two, which, which is also part of all this inflation by the
- 23:15way. Yeah.
- 23:16But now I like, I went to McDonald's.
- 23:19I think over the weekend and a large Coke just by itself, cause
- 23:27two dollars and ninety, and 19 cents.
- 23:33That's that's what I'll regular meal. 120, right Cent increase.
- 23:39Yeah. Regular meal without the coupon
- 23:41cult code that you can get on the app cost like 10 dollars.
- 23:45It's literally cheaper for me to go to the mom-and-pop sandwich
- 23:49shop. And a lot of cases, it's
- 23:51cheaper. Now to go to Chick-fil-A when we
- 23:54ever think that would be the case, right?
- 23:56Yeah. Yeah, it really does hit home
- 24:00and this is the thing you get the Talking Heads, you know, and
- 24:04some of them understand like I'm a big Larry cup low Mark you
- 24:08know, I yeah I do watch a lot of econ stuff and like you get this
- 24:14on the talking heads and they don't really understand the
- 24:18plight of normal people because they're so focused on looking at
- 24:23numbers in the abstract. And but man, when you go to that
- 24:27grocery, Store and you see a ten dollar dozen of a?
- 24:31Yes, I know it's not that's not just inflation, right?
- 24:35But that too will inflate the prices of everything else
- 24:39because anything now made with eggs also more expensive.
- 24:42Well, it's just like everything well and that's why people
- 24:47people think that were crazy. You know, people people are
- 24:51laughing at us a few years ago because we I mean, I've always
- 24:55had chickens since I I've grown up and this is one of the
- 25:01reasons why, because it's cheaper to own.
- 25:07Chickens then and bed when eggs are two and eggs were like two
- 25:11dollars for like 18. Right, everybody kind of
- 25:15thought. Oh, wow.
- 25:16It's let's do why you own a chicken like, you're saving
- 25:19yourself pennies, right? Yeah, not so fucking true now,
- 25:24is it? Yeah.
- 25:29Yeah, no that's that's definitely.
- 25:32That's definitely the case. So yeah, I mean, I think what
- 25:35the lot of this econ stuff, like I do understand it to a certain
- 25:40extent, but I think a lot of people do get lost in a lot of
- 25:44the jargon and that's intention like it.
- 25:47Yeah, unknown, well, it's both intentional in sort of a
- 25:51consequence of kind of the the nature of Economics.
- 25:55Because one it's not technically a hard science.
- 25:59It is a soft science, there's some psychology involved and
- 26:03there are there's a terminate variables like Human Action,
- 26:08which I highly recommend if you want to get into economics start
- 26:12by looking into well basic economics, by Thomas all is like
- 26:16the first one but also Human Action by Ludwig von mises.
- 26:21Yeah because it explains this this problem that they have why
- 26:27central planning is badass. Julie Central planning is bad
- 26:30because we have an information Gap and scarcity is real, right?
- 26:35So because of those two things communism, socialism can never
- 26:38work in, will never work in a long term functional scenario
- 26:42because what happens is I plan everything out, right?
- 26:47And then you get a guy lets lets, you know, I'll just pick a
- 26:53random name and you had a guy called Agent dip, right?
- 26:56An agent. It is Fucks things up and does
- 27:00crazy stuff, right? And you can't really predict
- 27:03what he's gonna do until he does it.
- 27:06And then you have to react to it.
- 27:08That is the principle of human action is that you can't predict
- 27:13nor prepare for the crazy stupid shit.
- 27:17Also the genius, an amazing things that humans will do
- 27:21because we are so unpredictable, right?
- 27:24And again it's an information Gap as well as the scarcity
- 27:28thing. Now they'll I say well if we
- 27:29ever create a, let me give you a hypothetical here for a second
- 27:33Sammy, you know like this one, if we created a matter,
- 27:37replicator that could just make anything out of thin air, not
- 27:41even a 3D printer, just you're going to make you no matter out
- 27:45of nothing. Would that solve the problem of
- 27:49scarcity? No, not necessarily.
- 27:54Do you know the one thing that will always be scarce?
- 27:57No matter what happens. This is my favorite economics
- 28:01thing because nobody nobody knows.
- 28:03And then when I say it they're like oh shit.
- 28:04Yeah, obviously. What not water.
- 28:14It's more abstract, that's my hint.
- 28:21Supplies time. You only have so many hours on
- 28:28this Earth, You Know, hours in a day.
- 28:31And so you can only dedicate so much to any one thing and
- 28:36because of that there is a scarcity of your time that can
- 28:40that you can never bridge that Gap.
- 28:42Even if you if you made you immortal there's still only so
- 28:45many hours in a day. You can only do so many things
- 28:48at once. Yeah.
- 28:50Well and I would and I would also say relating that in from
- 28:55information is also scares because there's also only so
- 28:59much for me. There's there's only so much
- 29:02information that the human brain can process to.
- 29:08That is a good answer. I will definitely accept that
- 29:11and it's that's the thing is there are abstractions that will
- 29:14always be scarce even if you were able to just like make
- 29:19water, ER out of thin air and make fucking.
- 29:21Make a juicy T-bone steak, right?
- 29:25All of that, just out of nothing.
- 29:27Still does not negate the problems with Central planning
- 29:32essentially. And I hate to get so base level
- 29:35on it, but I'm an econ spurt. That's what I'm here for.
- 29:39No, you know, I think it's I think it's great.
- 29:42Although apparently someone doesn't like it because we got
- 29:47one down vote on Otis. See, but who cares?
- 29:53So What do you think? So obviously you and I both
- 30:00agree that they shouldn't be better.
- 30:02Be bailed out, but what do you think is going to happen?
- 30:08They're going to be bailed out. Yeah, that's having.
- 30:13The problem is, is that because of 2008 in the way things went
- 30:17there. Yeah, the B Administration can
- 30:20basically do this without Congress at all.
- 30:23So they're going to I mean, they're just not gonna let these
- 30:29these Banks die. They're going to let them Purge
- 30:32out. Like I say the toxic assets,
- 30:33which is that you have to understand to the bank's.
- 30:37That's the most important thing. In all of this is, they want to
- 30:40get rid of the bad loans, which they should never have given in
- 30:45the first place. Sound familiar, like 2008 all
- 30:48over again. Yeah but that's that's what it
- 30:51is and they want to get rid of these, get them, sell them.
- 30:55What they do, is they let's say I took a loan shmuly took a loan
- 30:58and your The Loner, right? And we've both defaulted on it.
- 31:01Well, you're going to what you're going to do is you're
- 31:03going to bundle us together and sell it to these collection
- 31:07agencies for cheap, right? So you're going to make some of
- 31:10your initial money back and then you're also going to seek the
- 31:13rest of it from insurance from the government.
- 31:15That's you is the bank, right? And then we're going to do with
- 31:19the debt. That means shmuly.
- 31:20All you is you're gonna bundle us together.
- 31:23Let's say I owe you 500. He owes you 500, you're going to
- 31:26sell it. It to them for 900 and then
- 31:28you're going to go to the government and claim on your
- 31:30insurance, a loss of 150 or song or 200 or whatever the interest
- 31:34might be. And again your money back.
- 31:38These bags are going to get money on loans that are going to
- 31:43be defaulted on by the person that took them and be protected
- 31:48from the failure of their own bad decisions.
- 31:52So yeah, I know. Do I think, do I think more
- 31:55banks are going to go under? Yeah.
- 31:57Because they all want a piece of that bailout money.
- 32:00Well, well, also in, this is kind of pulling On like a
- 32:07long-ass thread here. So bear with me but we're
- 32:12sending money and resources over to Ukraine which as far as I'm
- 32:18concerned and I can say this now because I'm not on YouTube.
- 32:24Apparently criticism of Ukraine is now penalty is now a
- 32:30penalized Bowl thing on YouTube now too.
- 32:33I just walked around that out today but I mean in my in my
- 32:38mind we have no we have no business sending money or
- 32:42resources over there Even's, but what I was going to say is we're
- 32:48still sending money over to Ukraine, well our own Financial
- 32:54system is because because I'm using that sounds really good in
- 33:00theory, but here's here's the problem.
- 33:03I'm going to try and explain this best way possible.
- 33:05So what Joe Biden Did today was say that they are going to
- 33:10ensure all deposits. Now, the FDIC ensures any
- 33:14deposit. This is important to, for
- 33:16anybody listening, this is really important to you
- 33:18personally, okay, any bank account with less than 250
- 33:23thousand dollars is completely insured.
- 33:27You will not have your money taken from you.
- 33:30Okay? That that is a fact.
- 33:34What he did though, is he ESET see originally the cap was
- 33:38100,000, right? And then 2008 happened and they
- 33:42upped it to 250,000 partially inflation, some other reasons.
- 33:47So now it's 250 word until yesterday.
- 33:50It was two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
- 33:52That's the most money you can have in the bank but the
- 33:55government will give back to you, you know, in case the bank
- 33:59goes out of business. Now that number is unlimited,
- 34:06this means that the government has now committed to seven
- 34:10trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities, just to be very
- 34:15clear. The total money.
- 34:17We've sent to Ukraine is less than a trillion 7 trillion in
- 34:21unfunded liabilities. And it could essentially be
- 34:25infinite. We don't, we don't actually know
- 34:28all of the money in all of the bank accounts that could
- 34:31possibly Go go tits up, but this is the this is the largest
- 34:37commitment to spending in US history, just you think earlier,
- 34:41do you think that was Jose actual decision or do you think
- 34:45that this was someone? Because, I mean, again, the man
- 34:49has fucking out Alzheimer's, it could be, it could be him
- 34:56because this is the kind of shit that he would know.
- 35:02Specifically from being there as vice president in 2008 because
- 35:06yes, he is. He's out of it.
- 35:07But I watch a lot of Biden talking and he's not as out of
- 35:11it as you might think in my opinion, he does have policies
- 35:15that he pushes. And I think the green agenda
- 35:18stuff is because I think in his mind, you know, of course,
- 35:21Democrats have always been for, like, green this green that
- 35:24since the 70s, but but it's an easy win for him for his legacy,
- 35:29right? And he knows, it's really
- 35:30popular. With the activists in his party.
- 35:32So that's why he goes all in on the green stuff, so and I do
- 35:36think that comes from him. I think they just agree with
- 35:39him, right. But I do think too because he's
- 35:41made that a signature thing of his entire presidency.
- 35:45That's I don't think he's unaware of that, right?
- 35:49I think he's involved in the decision.
- 35:51However, when it comes to this, I think he would have had
- 35:54multiple advisors, tell him to bail them out.
- 35:56Because Democrats believe in bailouts because Democrats
- 35:59believe in spending unlimited money, What I'm saying, though,
- 36:03is like, ensuring unlimited did amounts of money like that does,
- 36:08like, he might not be Cog. I'm not saying he is, I'm
- 36:13saying, he might be cognitively on a where it's hard to say, I
- 36:19mean, he explained it pretty well.
- 36:22He was actually more cogent today than I've seen him in a
- 36:24while. But hey, he could have just had
- 36:27a script or they could have just gone over it.
- 36:30And he took Something I don't know but I do know that the the
- 36:34administer cuz I just say Biden because it's an Administration,
- 36:37right? Yeah but yeah, certainly he
- 36:41would have had the the left econ Wang sin.
- 36:44He might have called up like Warren Buffett.
- 36:46Like they he definitely his administration got advised to do
- 36:49this because again they think that you can just print money
- 36:55forever. That's like a fundamental
- 36:56premise of the Democratic Party. Yeah, so for them.
- 37:01Yeah. Like you know, let's let's
- 37:04ensure unlimited money. Why not?
- 37:06The the modern democratic party always because I can tell, I can
- 37:12tell you that, like, if you go back to a 1960s, I mean I doubt
- 37:18I know it's kind of like a normie conservative thing to say
- 37:21now, but like, but JFK would be legit considered a right wig.
- 37:27Winger find some issues, but on the issue of spending money, he
- 37:32was a Democrat with the finest, right?
- 37:35He wanted to spend all the money, I mean, this is the guy
- 37:38that funded our fucking trip to the moon, right?
- 37:40So he wasn't exactly like, opposed to spending unlimited
- 37:44amounts of money, right? But but, yeah, but that was the
- 37:48difference between 60s, Democrat Republican, right?
- 37:52It was more domestic and financial issues and like
- 37:56foreign Policy. Disagreements.
- 37:59Then this like cultural ideological thing we see today.
- 38:03Yeah, I mean well and and going to the Moon as it turns out
- 38:07actually turn out to be a worthwhile.
- 38:11Endeavor. I I believe.
- 38:14But that's all another, you know?
- 38:16Yeah. But it certainly, it certainly
- 38:17hasn't paid for itself, you know?
- 38:20No, it might in turn. Like it might, I could see a
- 38:25scenario. We're looking at fucking Hunter.
- 38:27Fifty years. We got a moon base set up with
- 38:30all the Rockets to launch so that we can go mine some gold
- 38:33off, asteroids or so I'm like, that's no good pay for itself.
- 38:36But so far, the moon landing. We did spend a lot of money in.
- 38:40The only thing you can really say is like, well, now we know
- 38:44it's real and it exists. And of course there are people
- 38:48that don't believe that. So then you have that.
- 38:52Yeah, yeah. And and some of that, some of
- 38:56them do listen to this. Agra Graham and some of that,
- 38:59some of them were up stuff that I took a trip to the Kennedy and
- 39:03that that's why I meant I'm saying like that, that the space
- 39:07shit was was like, cool, at least.
- 39:11And we did. We did get some amazing
- 39:14technology but, yeah, I get, I guess my whole, my whole thing.
- 39:19Those like, even okay yeah so maybe JFK was like a big
- 39:25spending a liberal but I guess compared to the Well, if you put
- 39:32them in, if you put them in today's politics, he's he's
- 39:36center, right? Yeah.
- 39:37You're no. It's just like I say there's
- 39:40plenty of Republicans that love to fucking spend money to.
- 39:43Oh yeah. Well and that's why we get in
- 39:46these messes is one thing I've been pushing on about pork
- 39:49barrel spending. I've been teaching about it in
- 39:50my gilded for Leslie, two months.
- 39:53Well, well and said, and that's why, that's why I bring up
- 39:56Ukraine to because obviously we're wharves Our fucking
- 40:01expensive and were we're spending money on war that were
- 40:05not even fucking. And you know, at least I hope or
- 40:09not involved. In yet at a certain point at a
- 40:15certain point, we're spending so much money that it would
- 40:19actually be less costly to fight Russia.
- 40:21We're not at that point yet. I'm not saying we're at that
- 40:24point right now. I'm just saying if it's about,
- 40:29you know, protecting the poor fucking Ukraine or whatever, we
- 40:32would actually stand to benefit ourselves more by just going in
- 40:37there and fighting Russia, then we do by handing them unlimited
- 40:40amounts of money to fight. Fucking war against the country,
- 40:43that's like 10 times their size. Yeah II.
- 40:47Guess what I'm saying is it seems to me, like, you crave
- 40:52that like, the one Ukraine. I mean, there are a lot of
- 40:56causes for our inflation, but Ukraine does seem to be one of
- 41:02them. Ukraine is going to be the cause
- 41:04of our inflation in two years. So, I mean, I tested some
- 41:12replacement like why is why is everything jacking a up right
- 41:17now? Because it seems to me like, get
- 41:21it. The bank, the bank's needed this
- 41:23collapse. Like I said, it's a grift.
- 41:26They needed the collapse to get bailouts.
- 41:28They needed to get rid of these toxic assets.
- 41:29They saw an opportunity and they know that it's after the
- 41:32midterms, but before the general election, so have the bail out
- 41:37now. Now have it now so that in a
- 41:38year and a half or whenever when we're talking about the fucking
- 41:41campaign Trail stuff, it's going to be forgotten and you bet your
- 41:45ass it will to buy most normies. Yeah, well we're here.
- 41:50Here's what I know. And I this this is what even if
- 41:53the even if the economy gets worse, I just would addendum to
- 41:56that. Most normies won't be blaming
- 42:00the bailout for it. They'll blame whatever the
- 42:02current thing is. Sorry.
- 42:03No mo mo. Here's here's the here's the
- 42:07fuss. Traffic.
- 42:08Here's the frustrating thing is, I mean, at least they're honest
- 42:15with the right, but I know normies who like free for a
- 42:23while now people have said, oh well, people will vote.
- 42:26People will vote for Trump over Biden because the economy is so
- 42:32shitty and maybe some of them will.
- 42:35But I am here to tell a lot. Of the audience that I am very,
- 42:40I'm very cynical of of low-tier normies at this point, because a
- 42:46lot of them, a lot of them will still go.
- 42:50Well, her Trump's Amenia hurt feelings, blah blah.
- 42:56Yeah. They the economy and the economy
- 42:58is shit, but and yeah, it might be.
- 43:01But those people love to be fair and to give you a little, hope
- 43:05those people aren't like the swing voters.
- 43:09Swing voters. You you nailed it are going to
- 43:13more likely to vote for Trump on the economy.
- 43:16If the economy is the number one issue, the problem is in its
- 43:20what you're describing here is that there are a lot of people
- 43:23that don't necessarily think the economy is the number one issue.
- 43:27Maybe it doesn't hit them as hard as other people etc, etc.
- 43:30There's a million reasons. Why that might be.
- 43:32It's not, it's not even that it's and look, I get it.
- 43:38Trump's Trump's abrasive and people don't and people and some
- 43:43people don't like that you and I don't fucking care because if
- 43:47Biden's not right well, right, but that's the but that right
- 43:52but that's the remember anybody's disrespectful in my
- 43:55Administration. They're going to get fired day
- 43:57one. Why hasn't he fired himself yet?
- 44:00Well. yeah, I mean, point point point remains that there are
- 44:07people who are still but her about Mean, Tweets from Trump,
- 44:11and unfortunately, Unfortunately, because we live
- 44:16in the world that we live in, I don't like to think that people
- 44:21are that, like, at this point, even the people who hate Trump's
- 44:27personality would be like, we're voting for him just because the
- 44:32economy sucks but people are so pussified these days that I
- 44:39don't. But like I said, I don't think
- 44:41those are swing voters though. I think Those are ya pretty.
- 44:46If you look at swing voters, if the economy is the number one
- 44:51issue, it's a landslide for Trump.
- 44:52And I mean, we're the economies of number one issue today,
- 44:57right? So I and now the banks and all
- 45:01of this, I just think, I don't think that the by Administration
- 45:05stands to improve things in the next, you know.
- 45:09Oh no. Definitely, I guess I think they
- 45:12can stem the bleeding. If they really try though and
- 45:15that's what to be concerned about on their end as if if they
- 45:19can bring inflation down to like the five or six percent Mark as
- 45:24opposed to the eight or nine percent.
- 45:26It's at now depending on how you look at it, they might manage to
- 45:31make the economy. Not the number one issue.
- 45:34Yeah, would vote. Well for the B Administration
- 45:38I'm coming from, I'm coming from the perspective of I knew lot of
- 45:42Swing voters in In 2020 who I said to them.
- 45:49As Biden's out of his mind, he has, you know, he has no idea
- 45:54where he even is in space half the time.
- 45:57If Biden wins I get that you hate that you hate Trump's mean
- 46:02tweets or or went out. But if Bynum wins the economy is
- 46:08going to go to shit and a lot of the Swing voters these aren't
- 46:14lefties, we're just like yeah, it might go to shit but You
- 46:20know, Trump is just so Brazen of and divisive.
- 46:24It's just so and that that's why I'm saying it's like we were
- 46:31were there now? And I'm just I'm hoping that
- 46:35you're right and I get that, but I do think that there's a bit of
- 46:39anecdotal ISM there because if actually, you look at the
- 46:42polling and obviously we're year and a half hours.
- 46:46Yeah. The polling is what it is.
- 46:48Particularly primary pulmonary. Bowling, which is not what I'm
- 46:50looking at. But if you look at heads up,
- 46:52Trump versus Biden in everywhere, they poll everywhere
- 46:56even in blue States. Surprisingly.
- 46:58Yeah. If the economy is the number one
- 47:00issue, Trump wins in a landslide, which is exactly the
- 47:03dynamic of Richard Nixon's Landslide Victory, where he won
- 47:0749 states. So, what do I think it will be
- 47:11that? No, because there are some
- 47:13states that would never go read like New York and California for
- 47:17exam, right? Although we're more red than
- 47:21people think well yeah I mean I mean same with same with
- 47:25Michigan. You take you take fuck you like
- 47:29my like my family, my dad's side of the family hails from
- 47:34northern Michigan. And - my - my dad and - my
- 47:39father himself everyone. On my dad's side of the family
- 47:42is very conservative which is funny funny enough that I lived
- 47:48in Detroit. For a year I would not recommend
- 47:53no. But my face Michigan's beautiful
- 47:56though. Oh yeah, it is Northern Michigan
- 47:59though. You take away Northern Michigan
- 48:02is very conservative, you would write.
- 48:04Would think just you just don't go here, ladies and gentlemen.
- 48:07That's so if you're if you're looking at Michigan on a map and
- 48:12you're right around the base of your thumb, get the fuck out.
- 48:17Yeah. For sure.
- 48:19Yeah, yeah. I can I can vouch for that, too.
- 48:24I mean, you take the point, although shout out to the
- 48:28fucking McDonald's on Telegraph Road in Dearborn.
- 48:31Heights, that has classic car shows because that place is
- 48:33fucking baller. Oh yeah.
- 48:36Very cool. Sorry, I have you reeled
- 48:42everything, no, and also to Telegraph Road is a banger song
- 48:48by Dire Straits to, which is where my, which is where my
- 48:53brain just went. But now, I love Telegraph Road
- 48:57because at night, there was no speed limits and I had at the
- 49:01time. Yeah, this was early 2000s.
- 49:03I had a 2003 brand-new Mustang, and used to just do like, 110
- 49:08down the highway, I once got passed by a cop doing, like 90
- 49:14and he just like looked at me and he passed me.
- 49:19Awesome. Now, driving fast is fun, but,
- 49:22you know, don't do it well. And I mean, the thing of it is
- 49:26is Michigan. Did go read in 2016, so maybe
- 49:31it's maybe they're not that far gone. at least I'm just Like I
- 49:43said, I'm holding out hope that people will be smart and vote
- 49:47for Trump since he will probably be the pursuit.
- 49:52The presumed nominee. Chat.
- 50:01LR underscore GRS. Have you guys ever heard about
- 50:05qfs? If you mean the quantum
- 50:08Financial systems that? Yes, I have any way which chat
- 50:15is that? Oh yeah, awesome.
- 50:17Sorry. Odyssey.
- 50:20Yeah I have heard of cute. I have heard of qfs.
- 50:27I haven't really looked into it that much.
- 50:30I have heard of it. So yeah, I mean I guess the
- 50:39other thing and in this does tie into the banking a bit but you
- 50:43know we are getting into, you know, primary Susan a bit.
- 50:51I think. You know, Trump is probably
- 50:56going to be the nominee at this point.
- 50:58Most likely, I do find interesting though.
- 51:02That people are telling as a scientist is going to face off
- 51:06against Trump. I think that's a bad eye.
- 51:09A bad idea. I don't think the Santa's wants
- 51:12to know, sleigh, run of his own voice and I keep hearing, you
- 51:18know, things like from the New York Post is supposedly going to
- 51:21announce on Thursday, but I wouldn't recommend it.
- 51:27Don't do it, Ron, stay here. But what what's your whole take
- 51:32on the primary thus far? We've got Nikki, Haley, Mike
- 51:36Pompeo. Some alt text.
- 51:42The the I want to write a book club, I mean, yes.
- 51:48Yeah, I mean, they're none of them are serious contenders and
- 51:52they all know it. The only one besides Trump who
- 51:56could potentially be considered a serious Contender is DeSantis.
- 52:00Although if you look at the polling right now, it's not
- 52:03actually the case that Trump is handily beating him in every
- 52:07state that's run polling. I see that.
- 52:10Oh my possibly future protégé. Just joined us the Young, The
- 52:20Young shmuly, just Joe, could you be, who I joined us?
- 52:25How are you? How are you doing tonight,
- 52:26actually? Oh, I'm doing quite well, doing
- 52:29quite well, was just seeing what Max is doing and there's econ
- 52:32sparking and so yeah, I thought I'd hop it.
- 52:36Yeah, we we went through the banks.
- 52:39Stuff already and we were kind of moved on to talking about
- 52:42primaries. And Max's, Max just got a
- 52:48swatted. I uh, oh wait.
- 52:53Oh wait now. Oh no, he didn't, he's back.
- 52:57Yeah, what happened there? Huh.
- 52:59Yeah, I don't know. But yeah, they're, they're
- 53:02basically grifting trying to get rid of toxic Assets in
- 53:06combination with getting bailouts.
- 53:08We've seen this before for the people expecting this to turn
- 53:12into like the collapse and they're gonna live in Fallout
- 53:17New Vegas or whatever. I hate to break it to you, but
- 53:21the Dow Jones went down less than 1%.
- 53:26Well, I mean probably not ways. I've been enjoying it, I want I
- 53:31have been telling Max for so long that I want to have a
- 53:36Readjustment in the tech Market. I mean these these corporations
- 53:41that have never turned profit like Instagram and shit being
- 53:46valued at like billions of dollars while like actual
- 53:50manufacturers and shit are valued at like half even though
- 53:54they're earning more money. Everybody order that's true.
- 53:58And when they look at the valuations they claim, it's
- 54:01purely intellectual property. That makes it worth that value.
- 54:05But they don't make any like YouTube doesn't make any profit
- 54:08but they're like, oh well it's important streaming service.
- 54:11So it's worth all this money. It's like, no, it's actually
- 54:13worth - money. Nah.
- 54:16Yeah, no. I mean oh it because if you
- 54:18bought YouTube, right, if some if Google was like we're going
- 54:22to sell you too bright, you would actually have to not only
- 54:25purchase it for whatever the prices but then factor in all
- 54:28the fucking loss. Yep and operate as well.
- 54:33And this is my exact point and that that amount of like well we
- 54:37don't have to make money. We're just going to have
- 54:40billions of dollars pumped into US constantly has led to The
- 54:45kind of actions in that industry that we all despise the sort of
- 54:51just like blatant anti-consumerism, the I hire a
- 54:55fucking Army of people who have nothing better to do than beep
- 54:59political fucking activists. Yeah, well, the thing I just
- 55:04don't get it. I mentioned earlier to the
- 55:06diversity, hires in particular, the the risk manager at this
- 55:11Silicon Valley Bank was a diversity hire.
- 55:14She's literally in charge of risk.
- 55:18That's probably an important position consider in there and
- 55:20going bankrupt, but but we don't have a problem with like
- 55:24plumbers and electricians and shit spending all their time
- 55:28promoting political activism, all right.
- 55:32We don't have a big issue with that Dewey.
- 55:36No. Well, no, we don't.
- 55:39I mean, the only time these, the only the only kind of like
- 55:42working class people that get political or when they're forced
- 55:46to like the trucker's or whatever or maybe they have a
- 55:49union and they go on strike or whatever.
- 55:51But you know what I mean? That's true right working-class
- 55:53guys. They don't want to talk
- 55:55politics. Most like a good chunk of them.
- 55:58It's not at work, they got not at work, they don't they don't
- 56:01think of themselves as all. Well, I'm an activist well and
- 56:04especially If they're fucking blue-collar motherfuckers
- 56:07because the even at home there lay I just want to fucking
- 56:10relax. That's just stressful.
- 56:12I know so many guys like that and like I know I know that for
- 56:16us like politically activated people, that can be really
- 56:18frustrating, but you have to understand that that's the State
- 56:21of Affairs, you look at the United States Revolution.
- 56:24It was only about less than 10 percent of the entire population
- 56:27involved on either side. Even.
- 56:30Yeah, well, I was sorry, I was just going to say that like The
- 56:36it doesn't bother me because I don't believe that everybody
- 56:39should be focused on the same thing with a specialization.
- 56:42And I also don't think that this like idea of the like people the
- 56:48whole, the people waking up, man and getting involved is some
- 56:52solution or realistic. That's the left thing, right?
- 56:55Is like, you have to, there's no personal.
- 56:57It can only be political. And these people, this is why
- 57:02the Marxist failed to rile the fucking way.
- 57:05Working class in America. Oh, so long ago, right?
- 57:08It's that's not appealing to be political all the time, the
- 57:12white working class, and I am from the white working class, so
- 57:15I know damn, well, I've worked in sand and gravel construction,
- 57:19everything else when I was young, I know what it's like and
- 57:23those guys don't want to talk about politics, like you said,
- 57:26at work because they're too busy and then at home because they're
- 57:28too tired and when they're out with their friends because it's
- 57:30the only chance they get to go out and have a drink and then
- 57:34it's like, when is there left? To talk about politics.
- 57:36Well, there's not unless it gets so inconvenient to them that
- 57:40they have to, but you shouldn't root for that.
- 57:43Because again we go back to the concept of Human Action if you
- 57:46wake up the masses there's no guarantee they're going to go
- 57:49for what you want, right? Well and and there are, there
- 57:54are there are a couple exam. The most prominent example, I
- 57:58can think of this is even a lot of liberal, a lot of liberals, I
- 58:05know who are pro-lgbt are very much against The the trans
- 58:14activists who are trying to force the shit on kids, and
- 58:19thankfully, people are drawing lines and it's tough still
- 58:24though. Because if you draw that line,
- 58:27you're now on the side of phobes, right?
- 58:29And nowhere else, nobody likes to be caught.
- 58:32I know some people adopt racist or homophobic and wear this
- 58:36badge, but like literally in our society that is a sign of low
- 58:40status, that's right. Needs Sy uses an attack.
- 58:44Nobody wants to be called Low status.
- 58:46Nobody. No, well I mean she really made
- 58:50it show slowly made a tweet this morning that I thought was
- 58:55pretty profound and it's something I've kind of
- 58:57experienced where anyone who questions the woke narrative is
- 59:02suddenly called like right wing and I was telling Max before the
- 59:08the stream started that if you go back to my show all the way
- 59:15back to the Blog Talk, Radio Days, I used to be Infamous for
- 59:20springing out, admittedly on Bill Maher.
- 59:23Quips and going on these screaming ants on a piece of
- 59:26shit. Delmar was, but now like, I've
- 59:31listened to I do. I have always liked listened and
- 59:38watched clips of Bill Maher. And I've gotten to the point
- 59:41where like I now kind of actually like Bill Maher because
- 59:46he's against like bill has gone from far away left like more
- 59:51little Welsh ponies. Got a theory on this actually
- 59:54maybe he can talk about it. And his theory is that the
- 59:58neoliberals the, you know the liberals who aren't actually
- 1:00:01like the woke call me activist types He thinks and I think he's
- 1:00:06right, we need to bully them and say, no, you need to stand up to
- 1:00:10these people like Bill Maher, you need to stand up.
- 1:00:12Why aren't you, right? Because you don't believe in
- 1:00:15this fucking shit and and sure enough it works.
- 1:00:18I think he is, I think he is starting to though because yes
- 1:00:22what I say is that the the radical left wins and the
- 1:00:29neoliberals lose, I mean like how did I prove it?
- 1:00:33I think I phrase it a better way.
- 1:00:34But it's like, on every single thing that these people have
- 1:00:39completely ran roughshod over them and their own institutions.
- 1:00:42And it's like, well, there's no conservatives in college right?
- 1:00:48You guys dominate that, you absolutely dominate that you
- 1:00:52have the numbers, but yet you can't get you're going to lose
- 1:00:56Departments of like English literature and shit that you
- 1:00:59want like in Brown University because you can't stand up to
- 1:01:02these activists because they turn around.
- 1:01:04Around and screw you and you all sit there, one by one, letting
- 1:01:08the pick you off, right? Yeah, and and letting them kiss
- 1:01:15letting them piss on everything you believe in.
- 1:01:17Because again, you don't want to be called low-status
- 1:01:20essentially. And and truly has and and
- 1:01:26surely, I could be wrong. I could be thinking of someone
- 1:01:30else but I believe that you actually attend my alumni.
- 1:01:35But yeah, I don't start. Let's not docks me.
- 1:01:41I heard I heard you went to Trump University.
- 1:01:45Well, well yeah, but like I've heard I've heard from people,
- 1:01:51they, it's gone woke compared to even when I was there.
- 1:01:55Basically, everything has everything as look.
- 1:01:58I mean, the lack of McDonald's has, right?
- 1:02:01Yeah. The last for maybe four years,
- 1:02:05these people have really linked all of the pieces together and
- 1:02:11introduce stuff at just such a shocking, like diversity,
- 1:02:15equity. E, inclusion.
- 1:02:16Like that was not a thing, seven years ago.
- 1:02:19Okay, maybe maybe in like, literally at Harvard University,
- 1:02:24all right. But now it was probably just
- 1:02:26diversity, right? And then, yeah, bad because
- 1:02:29that's what they do. They add shit is called they
- 1:02:31have the Al-Quran acronym. And now all the ngos it's on the
- 1:02:35tongue of all the ngos sits on the tongue of all the corporate
- 1:02:38offices and Silicon Valley and you know wherever Wall Street.
- 1:02:45It's like these people operate but this crash it's we're going
- 1:02:50to call it that it really isn't a crash but we're going to call
- 1:02:53it that and you know, the layoffs of tens of thousands of
- 1:02:59big Tech employees within the last couple months.
- 1:03:01Not not even including Twitter and Elon Musk, right?
- 1:03:06Because you could say, in the case of Elon Musk, maybe it was
- 1:03:09ideological people will make that.
- 1:03:11I don't think it really was per se.
- 1:03:14I think it was a performance. Review.
- 1:03:15And also he said, if you don't want to work for me, you don't
- 1:03:17fucking have to get the fuck out.
- 1:03:19I don't want you here anyway. But aside from that Microsoft,
- 1:03:2310,000, employees, Facebook, over 10,000 employees, fucking
- 1:03:28there were several others of these big tech companies because
- 1:03:31they hired all these diversity hires and we've all seen the
- 1:03:34tick-tocks. This is like my day at work
- 1:03:37guys. And I get all this expensive
- 1:03:40lunch and I get blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:03:42Those people fucking all gone across the tech industry, Maybe.
- 1:03:45All but several fucking thousand of them are fucking gone.
- 1:03:50But so there's the turnaround is starting to happen at the
- 1:03:53corporate level. And I think that's important,
- 1:03:56the the well, I want to just say that I don't think that this is
- 1:04:00despaired like disheartening anyway, right?
- 1:04:03Like diversity, equity and inclusion as compared to just
- 1:04:07diversity or whatever, this is not a fundamentally New Concept.
- 1:04:11This is not some radical change from what they've believed for
- 1:04:15the The last 20 years, I think it's more cynical and
- 1:04:19transparent. I think that their, their
- 1:04:23acceleration into this stuff without actually being able to
- 1:04:27innovate and kind of flounder and not building some, like
- 1:04:31stalinist asked state is their undoing, eventually, right?
- 1:04:35I think we're ending it worse, we're beginning an age, which I
- 1:04:39have wanted, where the system will become so transparently
- 1:04:44ridiculous. And Why're you to repeat the the
- 1:04:47mantras over and over again in order to get ahead.
- 1:04:50So that it creates a generation of people who, literally, don't
- 1:04:53believe any of it. They're just things you say.
- 1:04:56And that's not cool. That will eventually fail
- 1:04:59because the system will keep you from.
- 1:05:01Let's say having jeans, you know, like there's like the cam
- 1:05:06block right. Young Elites will turn around
- 1:05:14and say fuck you and actually rebel against the system.
- 1:05:17The thing is though is that the United States is the center of
- 1:05:21control for all of the Elites in the world.
- 1:05:24As far as I can tell, they all come to college here, all the
- 1:05:28people protesting in Egypt or Iran, they're looking up to
- 1:05:32like, Tumblr people in New York, right?
- 1:05:36They're all that same. You could say, That you could
- 1:05:39say there's a power base like equal and opposite coming from
- 1:05:42China. But yeah at the most we're one
- 1:05:45is cashing in there. The other I disagree because I
- 1:05:48Chinese people send their kids over here to go to school in
- 1:05:52order to get that name that Harvard on their thing and in
- 1:05:56China if you went to Harvard they're going to go.
- 1:05:59Holy shit, you're cool. Now you make you make a fair
- 1:06:02point at that. There is certainly a tie like
- 1:06:04that as well. The people that were suing Doing
- 1:06:09some of the, some of them, you know, getting discriminated
- 1:06:12against, because they're Asian or whatever, some of them were
- 1:06:15Chinese Nationals. Well, the funny thing about all
- 1:06:21this stuff about this diversity shit is It boyan aren't believe
- 1:06:28it or not, it hasn't helped me because I'm only, I'm only
- 1:06:35crippled, right? You fell off the stack, right?
- 1:06:39You. Yeah, I would say when you were
- 1:06:41a kid you were probably like middle of the stack, right?
- 1:06:45Like you could get a pass on some things because I'd be like
- 1:06:48all poor but now like crippled. You're off.
- 1:06:51The fuck. You're not even on the stack,
- 1:06:53right? You and straight black men, just
- 1:06:57Willing and thrown off the stack but but look yeah you know, if
- 1:07:04you were a young person if you're going to be let's say a
- 1:07:07person growing up you know, generation Alpha.
- 1:07:11You're simply going to be non-binary or gay at the office
- 1:07:16because that's what you got to do on campus and everybody's
- 1:07:20going to say, oh well, I'm gay or I'm non-binary or I'm
- 1:07:24whatever and cynically, they don't believe it, but they got
- 1:07:26to do it to get ahead. There there is, there is a truth
- 1:07:31to that. Also, when it comes to gen
- 1:07:33Alpha, what I think they fail to a lot of people fail to
- 1:07:37understand, is one Jen Alpha in my experience is based as fuck.
- 1:07:42But, secondly, the reason for that is obvious, right?
- 1:07:46Remember when we were kids in school and they would be an
- 1:07:49assembly or something and we would all just like dare
- 1:07:52remembered are guys. Oh, wow.
- 1:07:55All the kids. Loved dare and none of ya up to
- 1:07:57do drugs, right? It's the same thing, they're all
- 1:08:00going to like if anything this might lead to worse because I
- 1:08:04could totally see a scenario where they're like, okay kids.
- 1:08:07Now he has to do Holocaust glass in the kids are all going to be
- 1:08:10like whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, fluke juice.
- 1:08:12You know? Like they're literally going to
- 1:08:13create like based little Edge Lawrence because kids don't kids
- 1:08:18go hard, right? I was never more edgy than when
- 1:08:23I was 13 years old, bro, it's not even a contest.
- 1:08:27Yeah, yeah, no. It is unintentional.
- 1:08:30It's something that I kind of fear, but I mean, it's to me.
- 1:08:34I'm so like, what do you expect? That, that any kind of outcome
- 1:08:40like that doesn't actually bother me that much.
- 1:08:42It's just, what did you expect? And I love, I love the low
- 1:08:50political energy that these people have man.
- 1:08:53Like really at the end of the day, I mean they have all these
- 1:08:56institutions and they have these beliefs and they can put the
- 1:08:59banner up. But like you really think this
- 1:09:03is going to be a multi generational struggle, going
- 1:09:06forward to maintain it that like people are going to billing to
- 1:09:10like live or die for for like Joe Biden neoliberalism and the
- 1:09:16ideals espoused by Harvard. I don't, I don't believe it,
- 1:09:21especially kit, especially kids, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:09:23Because now the kids are sitting there and there's this fucking
- 1:09:26cat lady, telling them how to all be nice to each other and
- 1:09:30you have to, you have to accept everybody as they are, and you
- 1:09:33have to recognize their differences and Dalai all this
- 1:09:36fucking shit in the kids. I could just see like I know
- 1:09:39this probably goes on in every Middle School in America when
- 1:09:42they have that fucking meeting. Well, the kids in the back.
- 1:09:46Oh, haha. Yeah, it would be, it would be a
- 1:09:48shame if we said the n word, you know, I mean like because that's
- 1:09:52what kids do. Well, there was well, there was.
- 1:09:56There was some of that going on when I was when he even went,
- 1:10:00even when I was a kid, right? Because it just not been aimed
- 1:10:04at different things, right? Well, but if some cat lady
- 1:10:08walked into your fifth grade class and was lecturing you
- 1:10:11about diversity and talking about racism, you to fucking
- 1:10:15made fun of her too. So here.
- 1:10:17So, here's the. So here's the thing with that is
- 1:10:21what I was a kid. Calm.
- 1:10:24But combine, the Columbine massacre was still a reason
- 1:10:29thing. And so the whole idea behind
- 1:10:32like the bowling classes and like what, not what I was we
- 1:10:38have to teach kids, how to be nicer.
- 1:10:40So the another Columbine doesn't happen, right?
- 1:10:43That was that was the well-intentioned thinking
- 1:10:47behind, which would, which doesn't address, you know, the
- 1:10:50actual cause. Well, that the jocks a Chile
- 1:10:54rate. Where it Harris?
- 1:10:56Yeah, it's not be nice. It's like hey maybe don't show
- 1:10:59hang great people. Well no so you want to know what
- 1:11:05the you want to know? What the real it's not in that
- 1:11:08because yeah, it was well, it might like, certainly, all I'm
- 1:11:13saying is they want? No, that's not something you
- 1:11:15can't just say oh be nice to gang rapists.
- 1:11:19Right? Yeah.
- 1:11:20Well hold on though. Because the The best you can but
- 1:11:24it doesn't seem like it would be particularly effective.
- 1:11:27So here was here's the bigger shoe with Columbine, just got in
- 1:11:32like that just got revealed publicly in recent years was the
- 1:11:38big problem of why Columbine happened.
- 1:11:40It didn't have anything to do with the jocks and I've railed
- 1:11:44against this on my show to ssris Ritalin, we have too many kids
- 1:11:50on ssris. Hold on, hold on.
- 1:11:53I'm I'm going to say that that's not the case but I do think it's
- 1:11:56a comedy like you cannot discount the fact that the jocks
- 1:12:00gang-raped the guy that inevitably walked into the
- 1:12:03school to shoot them and he specifically targeted people
- 1:12:06that wore white hats, white hair was what the jocks War.
- 1:12:10So like yes ssris, I think had a lot to do with it but like and
- 1:12:15again, my point being is like be nice wasn't going to work.
- 1:12:20Because if you look at right Dario, like, you can't just say
- 1:12:23to the Hey guys, you know, don't rape people because that's such
- 1:12:26a weird fucking scenario that a bunch of just supposed Jaques
- 1:12:30Chad's or whatever. Would fucking gang.
- 1:12:33Rape a dude, in the fact in locker room at school, like when
- 1:12:37the fuck does this even happen, right?
- 1:12:40And then and then when you think about it like that and then you
- 1:12:43think this is the guy that came back and shot up the school.
- 1:12:46You think, what did you expect? What?
- 1:12:49Yeah, well my overall point being is a lot of these Violent
- 1:12:54likes. Not that.
- 1:12:55It's Justified. I totally disavow.
- 1:12:57It's just a matter of. If you kick a dog, right, right.
- 1:13:00You well and went to the police. They did well, the other, the
- 1:13:06other point the other point, though, being I mean, that
- 1:13:09that's true. But the other point being is
- 1:13:12like a lot of these School shooters in almost every case
- 1:13:16they all have mental issues that have been documented, well
- 1:13:21beforehand to, or right, Right. Or if they don't have them
- 1:13:25documented beforehand, lo and behold immediately, they're
- 1:13:29diagnosed with something and I don't think that's like a
- 1:13:32coincidence. I mean, it's not a coincidence.
- 1:13:34I don't think it's like a conspiracy.
- 1:13:36I think. Obviously, look, if you kill
- 1:13:39another human being In Cold Blood, There's something wrong
- 1:13:43with you. Yeah, period end of story so
- 1:13:47it's not shocking that they all have mental illness, but you did
- 1:13:51point out. Ssris is a big contributing
- 1:13:54factor. Prozac Paxil Risperdal.
- 1:13:58There's so many and there's way more now Lexapro and fucking all
- 1:14:02this other shit. And yeah, it's low and behold
- 1:14:06almost every one of them was on it.
- 1:14:07I think almost every one of them was on an SSRI.
- 1:14:10All the major ones that we would know of And anyway yeah, my
- 1:14:14point being is like it was in there was this whole big thing
- 1:14:20when I was a kid and I'm made movies on shmoo and are closing
- 1:14:25up an age where he might remember this, but I remember I
- 1:14:27remember the big argument against like GTA Vice City back
- 1:14:32in the day was that like playing as a cartoonish mobster was
- 1:14:39going to somehow lead to the next car.
- 1:14:42Combine. Yeah.
- 1:14:43That's I mean that goes back to even Mortal Kombat, right?
- 1:14:47Like, yeah, Lehman video game and of course we have all the
- 1:14:50studies in the world that indicate the video games do not
- 1:14:54make you violent, right? That that is just absurd, right?
- 1:14:59All the science backs up the the exact opposite Theory and it's
- 1:15:06interesting because if we applied the same logic that they
- 1:15:08apply to the video games and Shooters, right?
- 1:15:11Well, they They all drink, Coca-Cola, maybe, Coca-Cola
- 1:15:14Makes You Shooter. Why is that absurd?
- 1:15:18But the other one isn't. Well, it's because everybody's
- 1:15:21had a Coca-Cola and everybody wins, but, you know, it's I
- 1:15:27don't know. It's just insanely frustrating.
- 1:15:32I just well, it'd be the other thing was memes.
- 1:15:35Memes, were going to cause the like I remember a few years ago,
- 1:15:40people were saying that Pepe memes were going to cause he's
- 1:15:44writing shooting right as a, Dungeons and Dragons guy and a
- 1:15:48heavy-metal guy. I was told all my life, but you
- 1:15:52know, though, the devil's gonna come fucking steal your soul and
- 1:15:56it all this fucking shit and you're going to murder people
- 1:15:59because you like a tabletop role-playing game and some like
- 1:16:05like it's just too funny. Well, that's true.
- 1:16:09That's it, is it is they were right?
- 1:16:12What can I say? You know, I've killed all those
- 1:16:15people because I played Dungeons & Dragons.
- 1:16:17Well, it looks like I have soldiers played well dragons.
- 1:16:21Well, your I'll tell you, I'll tell you, I'll tell you what
- 1:16:23Max, your kill your kill on it with a cringe copy Alice.
- 1:16:27That's the only killing you're doing so.
- 1:16:32Try it. Try it that show is that shows
- 1:16:35entertaining as fuck. So, what's up?
- 1:16:38So some really been on my mind. What's really been on my mind,
- 1:16:43is the Twitter files and how the Boomer cons are like messing up
- 1:16:50the entire narrative by trying to look for some centralized
- 1:16:54like the FBI strong-armed. The people at Twitter, this is
- 1:16:59what happened. This is our narrative either.
- 1:17:09Yeah, well it just pisses me off.
- 1:17:11Because why would the politically motivated FBI have
- 1:17:15to strong-arm? The politically motivated people
- 1:17:18at Twitter. That's the stupid.
- 1:17:21That's not how this works. Yeah, they took a list, the list
- 1:17:25of people they give that's mixed in with people.
- 1:17:28They were politically against with the criminals.
- 1:17:32The creeps and all the normal stuff and they sit that on the
- 1:17:35file on the same way that they send to like report pedos and
- 1:17:40the people at Twitter, went through and fucking censored
- 1:17:42people and they knew what to do and they knew what was up and
- 1:17:45they knew the game and no point did the FBI need to go you're
- 1:17:50going to ban these people or else, right?
- 1:17:54Well. Right because that's not how
- 1:17:55fucking power Works. Anyway, well thanks for
- 1:17:58bringing. Thanks for bringing this up to
- 1:18:00because there's actually going to be the next top.
- 1:18:02Epic. So Taco Carlson released the
- 1:18:09January 6, more January 6, footage.
- 1:18:14And I love, I love me some Tucker at points, but like, I
- 1:18:21already knew that, you know, we I think everyone here her new
- 1:18:25that Genworth. Six was fucking overblown and I
- 1:18:30said the day, it happened me. And truly we're actually
- 1:18:33watching it and laughing our asses off because we were like
- 1:18:36oh look at all the fucking grifters trying to get social
- 1:18:39media clicks by going in the building because that's all it
- 1:18:42was, they had phones out, right? They weren't they didn't have
- 1:18:46tons out. They were taking pictures and
- 1:18:48live streaming and all this fucking shit like a bunch of
- 1:18:50narcissists. That's what January 6, really
- 1:18:53was it was the narcissistic grifters, fucking trying to get
- 1:18:56attention for themselves. And a lot of them did and I know
- 1:19:01I have friends would be upset by my take on that, but I stand by
- 1:19:06it, which is what I've said, is that, you know, when Trump could
- 1:19:10send their, we should pardon everyone who wasn't live,
- 1:19:13streaming it. Yeah.
- 1:19:15If if you didn't live stream or put up like pictures on
- 1:19:19Instagram of it, then then you get a pardon everybody else?
- 1:19:22Yeah. Fuck you.
- 1:19:23Well, well what I'm saying though is like is the tucker
- 1:19:28video? Ow, it doesn't really do
- 1:19:31anything because because Sam's gonna get comments about this
- 1:19:36episode 44. Well, for us, it just confirms,
- 1:19:41it's ridiculous for I, right? But for, I mean, that's, that's
- 1:19:45the ultimate take away that we're saying lie.
- 1:19:47But whatever you think about the people that went in there, the
- 1:19:49whole thing was a fucking circus.
- 1:19:52Well, but then, but then the people, the people are
- 1:19:57screaming, Insurrection in sir. Action.
- 1:19:59Trump trump is a traitor. This isn't this isn't going to
- 1:20:02change their opinion either. It's not like it's not like it's
- 1:20:07not like my little dad is suddenly going to go GI watches
- 1:20:11footage from Tucker Carlson and and you know son.
- 1:20:16You were right. You were right.
- 1:20:18It was just a bunch of ridiculous.
- 1:20:21I'll put it like this, I don't think a lot of boomers are going
- 1:20:24to change their mind but I think that swing voter younger people,
- 1:20:29some of whom may even Noah. January 6, the detainee the are
- 1:20:35more likely to fucking kind of come around on that if they see.
- 1:20:39Hey wait. They really did.
- 1:20:40Let this specifically the queue and on Shaman and for those that
- 1:20:44haven't seen it, I highly Commend, watch the Tucker clip,
- 1:20:47give the guy a like because he did some good journalism here.
- 1:20:51But this, this clip shows, Chan's lie, I believe, his name
- 1:20:55is the Q and on Shaman that everybody knows what the Buffalo
- 1:20:58hat and all that shit being led around the whole building to
- 1:21:03multiple different Doors by Capitol Police, multiple Capitol
- 1:21:08Police? Yeah.
- 1:21:09And they unlocked the door for him to get into the Senate
- 1:21:13chamber and led him there themselves.
- 1:21:15So when He got seen in the Senate chamber.
- 1:21:18That's the part we all saw, right?
- 1:21:20But we didn't see and and you know talker claims that it was
- 1:21:24withheld from chains. Lee's defense team.
- 1:21:27I don't know if that's true or not.
- 1:21:29His the state says, that's not true, but the state lies.
- 1:21:32So, who knows? But what I do know is is from a
- 1:21:36non-legal perspective, it certainly does.
- 1:21:39Look like they just let this guy in.
- 1:21:41And what he said happened is he said he had seen.
- 1:21:45People sneaking around the building.
- 1:21:47That's why the cops are leading it.
- 1:21:49Yeah. And if that's true, then that
- 1:21:53man does not belong in prison at all.
- 1:21:57Let alone for four years and I stand by that.
- 1:21:59Also. Hashtag free.
- 1:22:02Free Playboy to Beast. Hashtag free g notes, Justice.
- 1:22:06Hashtag, free, Mark, Sterling. Hashtag all these people that I
- 1:22:11know that are either in custody or facing cases from January 6.
- 1:22:17Like I said, I do think there was a, there was a level Love
- 1:22:21grift and narcissism involved in a lot of the people that went in
- 1:22:23there but I don't think that equates to a Goddamn federal
- 1:22:27crime well At Last except maybe trespassing like I'll give him
- 1:22:32that one, right? Yeah I yeah I don't think I
- 1:22:34don't think anybody that destroyed property as well.
- 1:22:37If you destroyed property you fucking deserve what you get
- 1:22:41Yeah, I do well, even though even if you destroy property
- 1:22:46property though, I think that's different from what I've been
- 1:22:48hearing which is this was a terrorist attack, just like not
- 1:22:53and right. No, no.
- 1:22:54This is one of these people went in there and they destroyed you
- 1:22:56know Priceless fucking shit. Okay.
- 1:22:59That's that's yeah, that's not cool.
- 1:23:01They fucking they damage the place.
- 1:23:03There was graffiti the people that did that.
- 1:23:05Yeah, they deserve destruction of property charges,
- 1:23:07trespassing, Insurrection and sedition.
- 1:23:11So come the fuck on, you know? But the people that believe it
- 1:23:15they're going to believe it regardless is to where we're not
- 1:23:19it's not a matter of facts or evidence that this point they'll
- 1:23:22just accept the facts that support their side and reject
- 1:23:25everything else so and that's where we're at.
- 1:23:29And that's a frustrating feeling on our side of the aisle.
- 1:23:32I know like it, but it's, it's been this way for a very long
- 1:23:36time and I don't see it changing anytime soon.
- 1:23:39But but you did mention the Bill Maher thing.
- 1:23:41And I like that because I do see kind of a realignment of like,
- 1:23:46what the Center of America is now.
- 1:23:49And it's entirely the far left fall.
- 1:23:51Like they did this. Yeah.
- 1:23:53But it is much to our advantage. whereas like I have more in
- 1:23:58common with with somebody like Russell Brand who I consider
- 1:24:02kind of on the left or You know, you know, some of these some of
- 1:24:07these Centrist even Bill Maher, I have more in common with Bill
- 1:24:10Maher economically, and in terms of like Bill Maher's, a big
- 1:24:15manufacturing guy, even though he's a Democrat, I'm big on the
- 1:24:18manufacturing in America, boom, or has some positions that I can
- 1:24:22that we can work? The thing is, what's coming
- 1:24:24together as a coalition of people who are willing to
- 1:24:26fucking compromise, And we need to get rid of the people on both
- 1:24:31fucking sides, that aren't willing to fucking compromise.
- 1:24:34Because if you're not willing to compromise, then you're against
- 1:24:36America. I mean, to me, to be fair, I
- 1:24:39have a few basic, like, policies that are are necessary and
- 1:24:44that's what I push for. So, those are the things that I
- 1:24:46would push. Hey, if you, everybody knows
- 1:24:48he's, if you give me these We will fucking make a deal
- 1:24:54somewhere, right? Once.
- 1:24:55Yeah, normal politics is, this is non-negotiable, this is
- 1:25:00negotiable. What can we negotiate, right?
- 1:25:03That's normal politics. Like I have my like, for
- 1:25:06example, a lot of pro-lifers. It's non-negotiable to them
- 1:25:10right? And that that but but that
- 1:25:14doesn't mean that they aren't willing to negotiate on trade
- 1:25:17policy or foreign intervention or any other fucking number of
- 1:25:21things. Oh yeah, the fact that we can't
- 1:25:24have conversations with the left anymore, I really want that to
- 1:25:28change because we need we need that populist Centrist movement,
- 1:25:33to really kind of metastasize, I think to really get past.
- 1:25:37I think my I think my recommendation of just avoiding
- 1:25:42talking to the woke left, instead talk to the, you know,
- 1:25:48so-called moderates or whatever and Bully them.
- 1:25:51And call them out for losing and not standing up for themselves,
- 1:25:56right? For letting them for letting
- 1:25:57them cock. You on a lot of things as well.
- 1:26:00Yeah, well and here's and here's the other thing and this is this
- 1:26:04is one thing that I actually like agree with The eye that
- 1:26:10Bill Maher mentioned recently when he was when he was on been
- 1:26:15Shapiro's show was okay. So you have political Wong's
- 1:26:19like you know, shmuly Max and I we enjoy talking politics,
- 1:26:24right? But generally like you know with
- 1:26:28your normal friends like people don't talk politics and it I
- 1:26:34want to get back to when I can go over to somebody's house and
- 1:26:38watch like Like a Sunday football game, and it's not
- 1:26:44like, and if politics gets mentioned at all, it's basically
- 1:26:48fucked ours guys in Washington. Like, that's how this is the,
- 1:26:52oh, a lot of young people don't realize, that's how the average
- 1:26:54American looked at politics. 20 years ago is, is they were just
- 1:26:59like, Fuck, both of them or yeah, or maybe or basically shut
- 1:27:03the fuck up, asshole. Let's watch, let's just watch.
- 1:27:07Let's watch the game and Instead, because of the whole,
- 1:27:11you know, kneeling thing in, like, everything has become
- 1:27:14political and it's and that's a tennis and Noel for the far
- 1:27:17less, like they need that. Because that's what creates
- 1:27:20discomfort and it's been effective for them.
- 1:27:23This is why people kowtow to their whims on a lot of things
- 1:27:27is because, you know, they're just so fucking persistent.
- 1:27:31And they have the ability to kind of My God, what are those
- 1:27:35fucking things? The wacky waving inflatable
- 1:27:39arm-flailing tube-man or whatever?
- 1:27:41They're like that, right? Because what they really are is
- 1:27:44a flat little fucking sheet but they know how to Puff the meself
- 1:27:47up all big. So look at these big fucking far
- 1:27:51left activists. Oh yeah, they're over there
- 1:27:53fucking waving their arms around but really they're just a flat
- 1:27:56fucking sheet of paper. There's there's not as many of
- 1:27:59them as people fucking think. Well, they're a The institutions
- 1:28:05that they're having control over are staffed by all people who
- 1:28:10share a lot of their moral foundations, right?
- 1:28:13Yeah. And so it's difficult to argue
- 1:28:15against people when they're literally their entire thing is
- 1:28:18appealing to your moral foundations on what ground do
- 1:28:23you stand to go against them? And then second of all they're
- 1:28:27all willing to turn on each other and not willing to unify
- 1:28:30to oppose them in any meaningful way.
- 1:28:32So there's no sense of unity. Amongst the people that oppose.
- 1:28:35The so, like I said, they can divide and conquer.
- 1:28:38They're gonna, They're Gonna Cancel you and again, yeah.
- 1:28:41Their Professor will do nothing. No one wants to be called low
- 1:28:45class. So, yep, there is a point and a
- 1:28:49lot of people on the right have had this experience and so they
- 1:28:52think it's so easy. But there's a point that most
- 1:28:54people get to where they're like, you know what fuck it.
- 1:28:57Call me race, call me low status.
- 1:28:59Because, again, that's exactly what that means.
- 1:29:02But, but if you haven't gotten to that point, Point yet.
- 1:29:04I think a lot of people underestimate like how hard that
- 1:29:08is to to internalize that no matter what you say, they're
- 1:29:13going to consider your racist because these people know in
- 1:29:16their heart of hearts that they're good people but to be
- 1:29:20fair it is it has also amazed amazed me though, on that point.
- 1:29:25Next how many just how many people like even celebrities are
- 1:29:30still going to cut themselves? Like like basically Ali Mark
- 1:29:37Hamill fucking Luke Skywalker cocked himself because he
- 1:29:42apologized for not retweeting. Not a common thing for liking a
- 1:29:49JK Rowling tweet like a few months ago.
- 1:29:55Yeah, I yeah, I could see that well and they'll proselytize
- 1:29:59themselves for the fucking cause and be again because you got to
- 1:30:04remember it's thatís, right? And so these celebrities their
- 1:30:07entire stock in trade is status. Look what happens to people to
- 1:30:11come out as conservative, let alone.
- 1:30:13Anything more than that. But people that have like the
- 1:30:15most basic digital or even how Woody Harrelson, right?
- 1:30:19Woody Harrelson's in and cap and they flipped out on them.
- 1:30:24He's a lefty and cap at that and he's yes he went out and he did
- 1:30:28that rant about the vaccine or whatever on Saturday live and
- 1:30:33they'll fucking hate him. Now.
- 1:30:33All it takes is that one you know you're low status.
- 1:30:38Yeah. And I mean by and by the way,
- 1:30:40even even when Woody Harrelson, you know, was a big laugh?
- 1:30:45Yeah. I loved him in Zombieland.
- 1:30:49I have gone back and watched, you know, cheers.
- 1:30:54Here's his great. Huh, he's growing on that.
- 1:30:56Well, I don't he's like he's a lefty and cap.
- 1:31:00So he's a little more tolerable because he just doesn't believe
- 1:31:03in the government at all. So like I just put him in his
- 1:31:06own little bubble and he's managed to get away from all of
- 1:31:09this like backlash because he's been very open about his
- 1:31:12politics for many many years, right?
- 1:31:14Yeah. Light but then he touched on
- 1:31:17their sacred cow in the halls of power.
- 1:31:20And so now he's low status and that's that.
- 1:31:24Why they do it because that one time of getting called,
- 1:31:26low-status can kill your fucking career.
- 1:31:29Yep. Yeah, point I guess, my point is
- 1:31:32is like I've never minded left-wing people in the
- 1:31:35Hollywood per se, you know, like I've always, I rolled out some
- 1:31:39of their political statements. Like for the most part I'm like,
- 1:31:43okay, I, you know, I don't agree with this person politically but
- 1:31:46you know, I like I like them and XYZ show or XYZ movie, but now
- 1:31:53it's just like All that has become like hyper.
- 1:31:56I don't know it's become all. It's all become like hyper
- 1:31:59focused in the last 10 years. Well they've been going after
- 1:32:04what's-his-face Captain America there for like the better part
- 1:32:07of a decade because he won't say his politics out loud and they
- 1:32:10know he's Christian so they just assume he's right wing
- 1:32:13insulated. Oh, Chris Pratt.
- 1:32:15Yeah, Chris Pratt. Yeah, no, but I don't think he
- 1:32:20is right wing. I think he's just, I think he's,
- 1:32:22you know, There's something that I bet you but he is Christian.
- 1:32:26Right. And that's enough for them to be
- 1:32:28like haha evoke right winger will Christen crap.
- 1:32:34Whoa. Chris Pratt was willing to he
- 1:32:37starred in a show called The Terminal list which is written
- 1:32:42by Jack car. He was a Navy SEAL and one knife
- 1:32:47ate one of my favorite novelist who I'm hoping to get onto the.
- 1:32:51So the fact that you're like playing a character Buy some
- 1:32:54right-wing. And by the way, I don't, I don't
- 1:32:58even think Jack cars and this layer a right-winger, he's just
- 1:33:01a Navy SEAL. And so the left has
- 1:33:03automatically assume that because he's a seal military
- 1:33:08equals, you know, right wing extremists, obviously in their
- 1:33:11mind. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:33:13Now to be fair check ours, first novel is basically all about
- 1:33:20like a marine who basically kills In tight deep state for
- 1:33:25killing his family and its really fucking based.
- 1:33:28So, yeah, they hate him for that.
- 1:33:31But yeah. But they have they have no
- 1:33:34evidence of Chris Pratt's, actual politics right now is
- 1:33:37they're just guessing and eight. They consider it a sin that he
- 1:33:42hides it from them at all. He wore a shirt to the gym dude.
- 1:33:46They it had the Gadsden flag on it.
- 1:33:50That's the only thing I think that more you notice that
- 1:33:55celebrities are now coming out as libertarian like Rob
- 1:33:59Schneider Woody Harrelson, because that is a little less
- 1:34:03low status in Hollywood. They still like, oh, you're a
- 1:34:07fucking, you know, you're a weirdo but like, they're okay
- 1:34:10with you being a Libertarian in Hollywood, you cannot be a
- 1:34:13conservative. Yeah, I it's to be expected.
- 1:34:18Although I tell you this, if Rob Schneider is as open and vocal
- 1:34:22about his libertarianism as he is, He goes on Fox News and all
- 1:34:25this shit. I guarantee you, Adam Sandler
- 1:34:27and everybody in that camp is fucking of similar mindset,
- 1:34:30guaranteed. Well, I mean, I'm just not I'm
- 1:34:34just not totally on board with like, you guys kind of decrying
- 1:34:39the stuff. I mean, this is the outcome that
- 1:34:41I sort of want, like I like baiting my enemies into Hazzard.
- 1:34:46I mean, this is, this is, this is the great thing about having
- 1:34:49elected Donald Trump, and why we need him back in there.
- 1:34:52I mean the ovary Action their fanaticism that he inspires in
- 1:34:57them leads them, into doing things that just is dumb
- 1:35:00long-term, true. And the tide has to turn against
- 1:35:03woke - and then also exacerbate that.
- 1:35:06Yes. And so this is exactly why we
- 1:35:09have to do that. We have to instill in these
- 1:35:11people enough fear that they're just they just can't help
- 1:35:14themselves. So you have to entice your enemy
- 1:35:17into doing dumb stuff and that's the race outcome.
- 1:35:21I mean otherwise like yeah he's um stuff like dumb stuff like
- 1:35:25going out of their way to try and support DeSantis even though
- 1:35:28if he were to beat Trump the next day they would be calling
- 1:35:30him a Nazi. You mean stuff like that.
- 1:35:32Yes yes. I mean I mean you can say what
- 1:35:36you want about Ron DeSantis and I have some reservations about
- 1:35:40the people supporting him but the people supporting him or Neo
- 1:35:43cons that don't care if he goes in and does the ante woke stuff.
- 1:35:49Like they're not going to, they're not going to be like, oh
- 1:35:51my God, Ron you can't challenge the woke stuff.
- 1:35:56You know, they're going to be like Hey Ron start a war with
- 1:35:58Iran. Hey Ron?
- 1:36:00Yeah, yeah. They're gonna go back to the
- 1:36:02laundry list of the usual suspect?
- 1:36:04Well no the thing of it is is the Neo cons who like are
- 1:36:09supposedly supporting him and that Romney were the were the
- 1:36:13same ones who were like, oh my God, Ron you're not.
- 1:36:17You're not closing down for de, you're going to cause the next
- 1:36:21to the Democrats are, right? You're going to cause the next
- 1:36:24apocalypse. You say, you say what you want
- 1:36:28about DeSantis, right? And people could say a lot of
- 1:36:31things about it, but he he gets all of these support.
- 1:36:37But imagine if you were him and you got told that Mitt Romney
- 1:36:41openly endorsed you, I would want to fucking die.
- 1:36:49That's the last thing you ever want it.
- 1:36:52I'm surprised he didn't come out and say look like I appreciate
- 1:36:55because the appreciate the intent here.
- 1:36:59MIT, but go fuck yourself. Yo, yeah, so far, he's got the
- 1:37:03endorsement of who. I mean, Mitt Romney ghost
- 1:37:07politics. Well, ghost, the repeated liar
- 1:37:14besides do MERS. There there is a segment of
- 1:37:17conservatives that are like Trump is mean and DeSantis is
- 1:37:21less mean which I disagree with actually.
- 1:37:23Yeah. I think they're pretty similar.
- 1:37:26It's just Trump's got nicknames for people which I can fucking
- 1:37:29hilarious. I look all I'm saying, meatball
- 1:37:32Ron was funny and Lyin. Ted didn't hurt.
- 1:37:36Ted Cruz, right? In the long run like Little
- 1:37:38Marco. Don't ruin Marco Lake, it's
- 1:37:42fine. Oh meatball Ron he said meatball
- 1:37:47Ron because the tamest fucking thing you could say about.
- 1:37:50That's why well unless said Ron DeSantis isn't Navy.
- 1:37:56Jag. I I talked with him on one of my
- 1:38:00friends who's in the Navy and my friend who was in the Navy said.
- 1:38:06Yeah. Right.
- 1:38:07Ron, probably laughed at that because Navy Navy guys.
- 1:38:12Make fun of each other all the time in college.
- 1:38:15Yeah. Way.
- 1:38:16Worse than if he was. If look, I'm going to call it
- 1:38:19right now. If he was actually offended by
- 1:38:21meatball Ron, he should retire from politics.
- 1:38:25Yeah. He because I don't think he was.
- 1:38:27He's been called much worse by now.
- 1:38:30Great press. Oh, yeah.
- 1:38:33And he's actually, he's actually met with fucking Trump.
- 1:38:35Fairly recently. They had dinner at Mar-A-Lago.
- 1:38:38So ladies. This idea.
- 1:38:40Look, though, I'll say this, there's people that want to
- 1:38:44stances people want Trump. We have a process to decide
- 1:38:46this. This idea of everybody on both
- 1:38:48sides trying to like, avoid the primary is retarded.
- 1:38:52Let's iron sharpens, iron my friend.
- 1:38:55Let's let's do it. Let Them Fight.
- 1:38:58Yeah. Now in my what I would I would I
- 1:39:02would like to see is like them is like the same dislike come
- 1:39:06out and then announce I'm backing Trump Or something that
- 1:39:10would just blow people's fucking minds.
- 1:39:14I'm just, I mean, do you think that Rhonda Santa's, if if he
- 1:39:20were to win, would have the same effect that I outlined as far as
- 1:39:25baiting these people into retarded nonsense.
- 1:39:29But he yes because they're going to turn.
- 1:39:31Yeah. Wouldn't he's gonna be the new
- 1:39:33Trump like the day. He wins the primary?
- 1:39:36Yeah, either new Trump. Yeah.
- 1:39:37So so basically I can't lose in that situation than it.
- 1:39:42Know that is truly the case. I mean, I have my reservations
- 1:39:46against him in terms of policy. I like I said, people back in
- 1:39:51this concerning, but the primary thing that I'm excited about is
- 1:39:54that a fact? Because that's that is The
- 1:39:57Shining Like beam of Hope from the whole ordeal of the well,
- 1:40:03trump, it boils down to that. People have a, there's a debate
- 1:40:09in conservatism right now to be had, I don't think the debate is
- 1:40:12on the issues. I think it's a matter of
- 1:40:14personality. I think, people think Trump is
- 1:40:16too abrupt or whatever, but it is a debate that people want to
- 1:40:20fucking have and we have a way to settle this shit with debates
- 1:40:23in elections in primaries, and let's walk and go.
- 1:40:26Do you want to do here is I want to get to On the stage debating
- 1:40:30people and DeSantis. I think would be the best
- 1:40:33possible opponent for him actually.
- 1:40:35Well, he well, okay, let's assume that the sand is wins the
- 1:40:39prize. Here's what no one is taught.
- 1:40:42Here's so here's the windup. I would like to see if for no
- 1:40:45other reason that I think would be entertaining as fuck.
- 1:40:48I would like to see the Santa's versus Gavin Newsom because
- 1:40:56Gavin Newsom is our is Okay, Gavin Newsom is what is app,
- 1:41:05Gaza? Gavin Newsom is to the
- 1:41:07Democrats. What Rhonda scientist is to us
- 1:41:12on the right? That's Doug.
- 1:41:15There's there's a reality to that.
- 1:41:17Yeah, he's definitely got his proponents.
- 1:41:20A lot of them think that Biden hasn't been far left enough,
- 1:41:25some of them are concerned about his age, some of them are
- 1:41:27concerned, you know, as As Democrats, you know, and it
- 1:41:31comes from an honest place. And into think that these
- 1:41:33Democrats aren't necessarily always coming from an honest.
- 1:41:37Place is where a lot of people make mistakes.
- 1:41:39Sometimes I do and this is one of those that, a lot of
- 1:41:42Democrats are like, Gavin Newsom is Youngblood, they think he
- 1:41:45handled covid. Well, we would obviously
- 1:41:47disagree with that, but here's, you know, that's their opinion.
- 1:41:51Right GI. So, here's my thing, I think, I
- 1:41:58mean, I think therefore, I am yes that to do.
- 1:42:07I keep hearing that, like, I keep hearing that the Dems are
- 1:42:11going to run Gavin Newsom in 24, regardless, because Biden's
- 1:42:20just, he's too far gone. Do you think that Trump could
- 1:42:25Trump will crush Newsome? Trump will crush me?
- 1:42:28Biden. I think DeSantis would crush
- 1:42:30Biden. I think DeSantis Newsome would
- 1:42:34be close, really. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:42:39Well, because look, if I'm going to say you're like this, I don't
- 1:42:43think that I actually don't think DeSantis could win the
- 1:42:47presidency, simply because him running against Trump is going
- 1:42:49to alienate such a large part of trump space.
- 1:42:51Well right, Manny included that. If he, if he were two primary
- 1:42:56Trump and win, I probably won't vote for Him.
- 1:43:01Interesting in my whole, my whole I will I would admonish
- 1:43:08you for that answer and I would write in Trump because I'm
- 1:43:12right. I I don't vote for the party.
- 1:43:16I vote for the candidate. I think is best for the job and
- 1:43:19that's always been true. I actually, I agree with Max on
- 1:43:22this. If, if the primary is bad and it
- 1:43:27came down to, I would I would vote for Biden.
- 1:43:31I mean I'm no I wouldn't vote for Biden.
- 1:43:33I would just rip it. Well I hit look.
- 1:43:37I would rather have Biotin and then any other Democratic right?
- 1:43:41That I can think of except for fucking.
- 1:43:44What's his name? Do come to you.
- 1:43:46The big you know the betterment yeah fetterman for president
- 1:43:50either better man. You know I who do you think is
- 1:43:54more with it right now? Biden or fetterman fetterman so
- 1:43:59I'm so okay. I Get what you, what you guys
- 1:44:02are saying about? You would vote for Trump out
- 1:44:08instead of the party. And wasn't I'm not a fan of the
- 1:44:11of the GOP at all. Because if they if they because
- 1:44:14if they do a fine job on Trump it's no longer my party.
- 1:44:18Well yeah. And listen.
- 1:44:22The Republican Party other than Trump hasn't been my party for
- 1:44:27for a while. But right, and we finally took
- 1:44:29it over and I ain't willing to Give it back, and I think that
- 1:44:32DeSantis as well meaning is he may, in fact, be will hand it
- 1:44:37right back because he's a career politician.
- 1:44:39Well, and I think if this happens, the odds that Donald
- 1:44:43Trump runs perform party. So Au?
- 1:44:48Yeah, Donald Trump see. That's the, that's why I say, I
- 1:44:51don't think the Santas would win because if they, if they perform
- 1:44:54this hit job on Trump, all he has to do is say right mind, he
- 1:44:58doesn't even have to actually run third party right?
- 1:45:00- And so, that's going to take enough votes away to fucking
- 1:45:04swing the whole thing. Trump is the kingmaker, whether
- 1:45:07anybody likes it or not. So the, so the argument that I
- 1:45:11used for Trump in 2016, was the centrally and even in 2015,
- 1:45:22right? Was basically, Andrew, Breitbart
- 1:45:26line of I will support whoever the candidate is because They're
- 1:45:31far better. They're far better than the
- 1:45:35left. Is that?
- 1:45:36What? I understand his perspective,
- 1:45:38but it was his party, right? And it's not my party.
- 1:45:41My party is like, I'm a reformed Party Guy.
- 1:45:44Literally, I was in the Reform Party in the 90s, so like to me
- 1:45:49it's about Trump, it's about Buchanan is.
- 1:45:51MM, let's let's be real with like it's.
- 1:45:54John Berger is mm? Yeah.
- 1:45:56Like I you know, this is Barry Goldwater, right?
- 1:46:00So like I've been that kind of knew right.
- 1:46:04My whole life is just that the new right wasn't allowed at the
- 1:46:07party. And now it is well yeah well if
- 1:46:10they take it, if they if they kick my guy out of the party and
- 1:46:13they take it back then I will oppose that party.
- 1:46:17Well, taking it back to Nixon. We taking it back to Goldwater
- 1:46:20in here. Yeah, well and see here in see.
- 1:46:23Here's my whole thing because I like him a bit.
- 1:46:27I'm a huge act light of Breitbart.
- 1:46:31But here's the thing Breitbart, he died, really.
- 1:46:36Before he even reached right before, the culture War really
- 1:46:39kicked off. Yeah, I am absolutely tragic.
- 1:46:42By the way, I'm convinced Andrew, Breitbart was the new
- 1:46:47right before the before the new, right?
- 1:46:49Was really a thing. Oh yeah, agreed.
- 1:46:52I didn't, I didn't mean to like, demean it because I do agree
- 1:46:56with a Breitbart on a lot of things, right.
- 1:46:58Actually, I agree with him on that.
- 1:47:00It's just that like I said, it was his party.
- 1:47:02It's not my party. Well, that's well, that's the
- 1:47:06whole thing that could be. It could be my party but they
- 1:47:09don't want it to be. They've been waiting us.
- 1:47:12Well, no, no, I think we Prevail what it what I'm saying is I
- 1:47:17think of Breitbart? Let's say, I think.
- 1:47:20What? Say, that Breitbart was still,
- 1:47:22right? I think he'd be in the same
- 1:47:24position you were. I think he'd be in the it's not
- 1:47:27my part. I think he would be new right
- 1:47:30now. Probably some it's it's tough to
- 1:47:33say but yeah he had a lot of ideas that kind of led to new
- 1:47:36right-thinking in a lot of ways. What's really interesting is
- 1:47:40that like even Rush Limbaugh was I mean, he caught flak for for
- 1:47:48like supporting Trump, you know, as early as he did and I came I
- 1:47:58came on a show with with these guys you know, used to have on a
- 1:48:02Friday, the day, he came down the escalator and I was like,
- 1:48:05yeah, guys. Donald Trump's the next
- 1:48:07president, the United States and they laughed at me.
- 1:48:10But you know what? They only laughed for a couple
- 1:48:12minutes because as as time went On and I made the case,
- 1:48:15everybody was like, you know what?
- 1:48:17Yeah, well yeah. Well you know what?
- 1:48:20Harris for the long term is none of this like dumb conserva con
- 1:48:25fucking nonsense. It's not your tax cuts, it's not
- 1:48:29the arguments that we've been having for 30 years.
- 1:48:32Do you have a vision as to how to help the material conditions
- 1:48:37of the fucking population and solve their problems necessary?
- 1:48:42And are you going to be able to create Wait a fucking
- 1:48:46nationalistic and populistic vision that unifies people that
- 1:48:50gets people to reject this sort of cloak racism and the sort of
- 1:48:55politics of the Elite Class. The Fall Song of globalism, if
- 1:49:00you will also have globalism and that's what's going to matter
- 1:49:03because this old conservatism stuff is going to fade away.
- 1:49:08And already has faded away from the young people.
- 1:49:12Millennials are not, are not increasing.
- 1:49:15And conservatism at the rate, the Gen-X Boomers and Silent
- 1:49:17generation did. They're not meeting these life
- 1:49:20goals. They're not meeting the
- 1:49:22necessary conditions to sort of become like their fathers, their
- 1:49:27upset and confused about this. The left is controlled by the
- 1:49:31elites and they have completely abandoned any semblance of.
- 1:49:36Like I'm actually going to create A world that you want to
- 1:49:39live in and the only person offering that kind of vision is
- 1:49:43Donald Trump. He's saying directly I want to
- 1:49:46compete with China. We're going to build new cities.
- 1:49:49We're going to bring back manufacturing.
- 1:49:52We're going to provide child tax credits for you to have children
- 1:49:57because we want a baby boo school.
- 1:50:00Choice now school choice. Yeah, I mean there's a like, for
- 1:50:06me, I'll tell you this. One caveat to I would not vote
- 1:50:10for Ron DeSantis. I would vote for him if he
- 1:50:12enthusiastically pushed for school choice.
- 1:50:15School choices is universally popular across racial
- 1:50:19demographics. There there's no reason for us,
- 1:50:22not to do this black people want it because they want to get
- 1:50:25their kids out of the failing schools in the cities.
- 1:50:28White people want it because you want your kid to have the best
- 1:50:30possible fucking school, right? Yeah, there is no reason to not
- 1:50:35and by the way, you know, for the Libertarians I'm not Justin,
- 1:50:38we spend any more money at actually I'm suggesting, we
- 1:50:42spend a lot less by taking that money and giving it to as a
- 1:50:47voucher to the parents. This voucher says, this is this
- 1:50:50is good for one year of public school of your choice and now
- 1:50:54public school includes private school, so you could just send
- 1:50:56your kid to the private school. With that voucher everybody
- 1:51:00would take advantage of that. Everybody would I can't see any
- 1:51:04downside of it. It costs less money and I was is
- 1:51:08disappointed that Trump didn't push it as like a number one,
- 1:51:11two or three issue in the last campaign, although it was part
- 1:51:14of his platform. I hope he pushes it harder this
- 1:51:16time, I hope if Ron's Santa's becomes the nominee, he pushes
- 1:51:19it. I guarantee you that.
- 1:51:21If a candidate on the right support school choice,
- 1:51:23wholeheartedly and makes people aware of what that means.
- 1:51:26He will win. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:51:29In lesson if I mean it so notice I say he because Nikki Haley's
- 1:51:34not going to win anything. Yeah.
- 1:51:37Well, so, here's the whole thing about that, like Nikki Haley is
- 1:51:41not going to do It isn't going to.
- 1:51:44I don't know how to write another book, though.
- 1:51:46You know? And I don't know if I'll tell
- 1:51:48you why she's there. Do you know why she's there?
- 1:51:50It's not the book like, that's that's her payment for it.
- 1:51:53Do you know what she's there to do because what weman man?
- 1:51:59Nope, nope. Not even that, not even that,
- 1:52:01that's part of it, right, women, and of color, and all that shit,
- 1:52:05right? No, no, the reason Nikki Haley
- 1:52:07is there at all? They know she has no chance, she
- 1:52:10knows she has no chance. Is she's going to get On a
- 1:52:13debate stage with Trump. So you watched he's not going to
- 1:52:16drop out of this race until at least the first debate because
- 1:52:19she's the fucking Hatchet men, that they're bringing him to try
- 1:52:23and fucking ruin him. Yep.
- 1:52:26That's her job. She's gonna get on the debate
- 1:52:28stage and she's gonna yell gotcha questions at him.
- 1:52:31She's gonna call him a racist. All this fucking shit even
- 1:52:33though she used to work for him. Guaranteed you're gonna hear her
- 1:52:37call Donald Trump. A racist in this campaign
- 1:52:40hundred percent chance of that. Yeah but thing up It it like the
- 1:52:44thing of it is is she like, okay.
- 1:52:47So here's the thing I will say about the Santa's is if we do
- 1:52:52get the same dis versus Trump, the sand dust will actually put
- 1:52:55up a decent fight before it loses because You know, because
- 1:53:03if he's getting into it, he wants to win.
- 1:53:05Yeah well yeah and because DeSantis is actually like smart.
- 1:53:10He he's he's not like milquetoast.
- 1:53:14Republican night, neither Trump or the sand.
- 1:53:17The sand, just our milk toast. Nikki Haley's going to do like
- 1:53:22traditional GOP talking points and no one gives a that.
- 1:53:26No one gives a crap about pompeyo.
- 1:53:29Nobody likes Pompeo because he's A CI spook and let's just end
- 1:53:35the discussion right there. Well, I mean, and that one is oh
- 1:53:40well he's a foreign policy guy. So he's going to be the hatchet
- 1:53:43man for Trump on foreign policy stuff.
- 1:53:45Like those two are in it specifically for the debates and
- 1:53:48then you will watch after the first second, maybe third
- 1:53:51debate. Both of them will be out of the
- 1:53:52race. Mark my words did either of you
- 1:53:55guys. Like did either of you guys by
- 1:53:57chance. Watch my CPAC recap.
- 1:54:00The I did. That was last week, right?
- 1:54:05Yes, yes. Okay, yeah.
- 1:54:07I, so, if you noticed I yawn, I, I yawned during both, you know,
- 1:54:15Nikki Haley's and pompeyo they're both low-energy.
- 1:54:20I don't even know why they're there because there's no.
- 1:54:24Well, because because to be there, you have to be two
- 1:54:28things, right? You have to have a name that
- 1:54:31most Republicans Blick Ins at least recognize right Nikki
- 1:54:35Haley. Got that Pompey, has got that
- 1:54:37and then two is you have to be you know willing to be the dirty
- 1:54:44work and that's what they're going to do.
- 1:54:47They're going to come at Trump, maybe I think Pompeo is going to
- 1:54:50come out of. This is my prediction for this
- 1:54:52Pompeo is going to come at them from a policy standpoint and
- 1:54:57criticize this policies and harshly and Nikki.
- 1:55:02Oh he's going to come at him from a personal in disparaging
- 1:55:05standpoint. I think that's why they have
- 1:55:07both of them. Both of which seem like major
- 1:55:11snore Fest. Yes.
- 1:55:16But the thing is, is you can you can almost hear the reaction
- 1:55:19right when she turns around on the stage and in some way shape
- 1:55:23or form calls him a racist, you can hear the crowd booing, can't
- 1:55:26you? Yeah.
- 1:55:28I cuz that's what's gonna happen.
- 1:55:31Yeah, because we're not talking about like, a neutral debate
- 1:55:35crowd, we're talking about a GOP debate crowd, that's there to
- 1:55:37see Trump debate people. If she, if she attacks him,
- 1:55:43she's gonna get Get booed out of the building, but that's her
- 1:55:45choice. That's what she's there for and
- 1:55:46then she'll write her book about how mean Trump was mean to her,
- 1:55:50because who he will be right. He'll he'll call her.
- 1:55:53Like fucking traitor is Nikki or some shit and you know but at
- 1:56:01the end of the day she don't care.
- 1:56:02She'll write the book and she'll say how mean he was and oh it
- 1:56:04was horrible in his fuck and she'll get paid millions of
- 1:56:06dollars by the Chinese Communist party for doing it.
- 1:56:09But because yeah by the way this is what happens with
- 1:56:12politicians. Ladies and gentlemen, what
- 1:56:13happens? If they write a book and then
- 1:56:14China buys a couple million copies of it, okay?
- 1:56:18What in case you wondered how they get paid off by the CCP?
- 1:56:21That's exactly how it works. What about what about the
- 1:56:24Sanders who has already read written a book, which I haven't
- 1:56:28read. Could always write another one
- 1:56:31and make a couple million more. II have an embarrassing
- 1:56:35confession make which is somewhere on on the bookshelf
- 1:56:39behind me II do have a. I do have Mitt Romney's book
- 1:56:45from 2012 to the and I and I cringe about that.
- 1:56:51But like, yeah, I am so glad he did not have a chance in hell.
- 1:56:58And his one presidential, you know, real bid because he was
- 1:57:02the governor of my state. For many years before that.
- 1:57:05And this is the guy that invented Obamacare just to be
- 1:57:08clear. Obamacare was originally
- 1:57:10romneycare. They didn't even change most of
- 1:57:12it, they literally kept exactly word for word the same.
- 1:57:15Also he banned assault weapons while he was governor
- 1:57:17Massachusetts. Very Republican of him.
- 1:57:20So max that does lead. And it's the question and it
- 1:57:24doesn't matter now. Anyway because Obama got his
- 1:57:27second term but like so I've always been curious.
- 1:57:30Do you're the one person I think my answer me honestly about
- 1:57:34this. Do you think that he would have
- 1:57:37been Do you think he would've been better than Obama?
- 1:57:41Or we would have would have been at war with Iran.
- 1:57:47Really. So you think that Obama was
- 1:57:50actually the better president? Like we had, maybe not, well,
- 1:57:56maybe not better, but it depends on like in some ways.
- 1:58:00Yes. In some ways, he's a better
- 1:58:02president than what Romney might have been.
- 1:58:04In other ways, Romney would have been more preferable to me on
- 1:58:07some things. But he's a, he's a leftist.
- 1:58:11Wearing a red fucking tie. Oh yeah, I know, I know that I'm
- 1:58:14not. It's like it's like our last
- 1:58:18Governor. Charlie Baker Republican, right?
- 1:58:20He was one of the worst lockdown governors in the country.
- 1:58:24Yeah, well he was he was the only Republican Governor to go
- 1:58:27along with all of the bullshit. Well listen Maya.
- 1:58:31And then he didn't run for another term because he's not
- 1:58:33completely retarded. He knew that that had fucked
- 1:58:35him. I knew I knew that I knew that I
- 1:58:40knew that Romney was not going to win against Obama my pet.
- 1:58:46Back then, even though I can't vote yet was was Herman Cain.
- 1:58:52I honestly would have loved to have seen 2999 deal rest in
- 1:58:57peace, my friend like yeah Herman Cain look as an econ guy.
- 1:59:00I love Herman Cain. Okay yeah Nobi Nobi to.
- 1:59:05I just like the idea of like of like two black guys like because
- 1:59:11the whole thing of if you didn't like Obama, you are you a racist
- 1:59:15but like Like the consider black guy he what?
- 1:59:18He was my guy. And so it was like, well you
- 1:59:21can't call me racist now motherfucker, because Herman
- 1:59:26Cain is more black than Obama is actually, I don't know if I
- 1:59:31would call you a racist, but the fact that you have a do-rag on
- 1:59:34seems a little a little like black days, you know, oh yeah,
- 1:59:40oh yeah, oh yeah. My drip my jazz Cafe'.
- 1:59:43Yeah, I listen, I act Jazz has I mean it looks like a do-rag on
- 1:59:48the camera. Yeah.
- 1:59:49It's a flat top. Right.
- 1:59:51But oh is it further around it? So no, he has the headphones on
- 1:59:56over it. So yeah, it looks like a deer
- 1:59:58track. No, it's what it's a flat cap.
- 2:00:02And and here in Florida all the all of the brothers as I call
- 2:00:08them they go maybe go to smooth jazz clubs and they were the
- 2:00:12flat cap backwards. This is what Laughs nerdily
- 2:00:18Rush. Limbaugh's producer.
- 2:00:19Erin has. This is how he wears.
- 2:00:22His flat cap is so bad. We found out that not only is
- 2:00:28Sam a wigger. He's a very autistic specific
- 2:00:32type of wigger. Yeah I'm attaining the the the
- 2:00:37black guy who goes to the Jazz Club Based in sampled.
- 2:00:44Yes, I I listen. I listen Rust in Peace, Wayne
- 2:00:52Wayne shorter here was one of my favorite odds.
- 2:00:55Saxophone is from the 60s. Oh yeah.
- 2:00:59Yeah, he was fucking fantastic, absolutely phenomenal.
- 2:01:04Yeah, so yeah, I am I am a culturally appropriate egg the
- 2:01:13backwards flag gasps and I'm like, no and I make and I'm
- 2:01:20gonna make no Paul and I make no apologies for.
- 2:01:23So, there you go, ladies and gentlemen, Sam don't give a fuck
- 2:01:29if it's politically correct to wear a backwards flat cap or
- 2:01:32not. He likes it.
- 2:01:36So um but yeah, no I I think that I think the opening up
- 2:01:44yourself to new guests is going to be very interesting.
- 2:01:50Yes, I think that if we can get the lineup that I'm trying to
- 2:01:54get it's really going to bring something to your show.
- 2:01:59I wouldn't go as well so far, I have to say, yeah.
- 2:02:02I mean, I want you to have some like discussions with, like Not
- 2:02:07notable people, but just like noteworthy people.
- 2:02:10You know, interesting people. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:02:12Well, I have some wind up from like touch.
- 2:02:16I'm trying to get you out of your comfort zone because what I
- 2:02:18think is I think Sam's a really good interviewer.
- 2:02:21And so, yeah, I think I think we could just get anybody in there
- 2:02:25and have if there is an interesting person magic
- 2:02:28happens. What Weston?
- 2:02:30I, you know, I think we had Craig Mansfield.
- 2:02:35You know, he was Pretty interesting.
- 2:02:37We've got, we've got Kurt Dolittle coming on Wednesday
- 2:02:42which will be fun and funny. I already like the guy since he
- 2:02:47likes falling down. So yeah, yeah.
- 2:02:51He had a poll today about the the movie to watch during the
- 2:02:55collapse and he had put up three and I was like falling down and
- 2:02:58so he deleted his tweet and redid the poll just to have
- 2:03:01falling down in the bowl. He was like oh shit.
- 2:03:06Yeah. I forgot that one as as much as
- 2:03:09I think that Gavin as much as I think Gavin McInnes is a
- 2:03:14Canadian grifter piece of shit. Who who drunkenly screamed at me
- 2:03:21once for having Cerebral Palsy. I do appreciate the back that
- 2:03:28Gavin McInnes is hole for a while.
- 2:03:30I used to his whole like get up was playing Michael.
- 2:03:34Douglas. From falling down.
- 2:03:37So that was interesting. Well, it's one of those movies,
- 2:03:43right? That you don't get it until
- 2:03:48you're out in the rat race and then it hits way too hard.
- 2:03:54Yeah, that's what I love about that film is like, it's so
- 2:03:57relatable that they stopped serving breakfast three minutes
- 2:04:01ago, right? And and kind of how you wish you
- 2:04:05could handle the situation and just tell them the fuck off,
- 2:04:08right? Yeah, there's there's a definite
- 2:04:11power fantasy in the movie even if you took out the violence of
- 2:04:15course if you took out the violence it's not really much of
- 2:04:17a movie, doesn't he doesn't? He like end up committing it's
- 2:04:21been forever since I've seen that movie doesn't end up like
- 2:04:24committing suicide in the end or something.
- 2:04:27I think the cop shoots them. Oh yeah that maybe it was like
- 2:04:32an alternate ending. I saw or something cops.
- 2:04:36He goes, I was the bad guy. Yeah.
- 2:04:39Yeah. He says, I was a bad guy.
- 2:04:40Yeah. Yeah.
- 2:04:44But it is, it is a film if you haven't seen it audience.
- 2:04:48I highly recommend that really kind of speaks to that kind of
- 2:04:52alienated. White guy attitude though is so
- 2:04:56ahead of its time. I don't think Falling Down, is a
- 2:05:00movie for 1995, I believe, or whenever it came out.
- 2:05:04I think Falling Down is a movie for fucking 20, 20, 20, 20.
- 2:05:08Yeah, three there are? Ya?
- 2:05:12There are definite like like even even true even True
- 2:05:18Detective. At least the first season was
- 2:05:22what I kind of have it was Was kind of ahead of its time.
- 2:05:25I'll be it only five years, but yeah, like the Harvey Weinstein
- 2:05:29thing. That was favorite scene of that
- 2:05:34film is the thrift short, thrift store owner.
- 2:05:38I was just going to say because that scene with the, with the
- 2:05:41Nazi thrift shop. Owner is more something you'd
- 2:05:44see today that's wasn't a, like a conversation.
- 2:05:47You would have expected in the mid 90s.
- 2:05:49They had a conversation. That sounded more like 2017,
- 2:05:53fucking In Fortune. Yeah, he's, I'm Hugh.
- 2:05:56I'm you and me are the same. Yeah, like oh shit, which is
- 2:06:03exactly like the Nazi tactic isn't it?
- 2:06:05They always want to, like, they want to get, they want to get
- 2:06:08their garbage on you. They have to get it on you so
- 2:06:12that you stink too. I mean, I mean Apocalypse.
- 2:06:17Now is another film that I mean, Apocalypse Now kind of goes in
- 2:06:23Cycles like ass but like, yeah, yeah, War films is one thing.
- 2:06:28But the Alien Nation, Enough. Just like a regular, you know
- 2:06:33middle class. Dude, is not something we see
- 2:06:38expressed in such a dramatic fashion as Michael, Douglas, and
- 2:06:43falling down nowadays because like, that's the last thing, it
- 2:06:47woke, corporate Hollywood, whatever make right?
- 2:06:51I'm surprised they haven't called to ban the fucking movie.
- 2:06:56Well, now then it's on this show they probably fucking will ya.
- 2:07:03We get we get following down fucking band.
- 2:07:05That would be I'd be okay with that.
- 2:07:08I have a copy it's fine. I mean yeah.
- 2:07:15There. I mean, people need people need
- 2:07:21to start. Here's the other thing, people
- 2:07:23need to stop freaking out about the zombie apocalypse.
- 2:07:26It's not going to fucking happen, folks.
- 2:07:30I know, I know, I know everyone just finished watching the last,
- 2:07:34the last us, but that, that, that game was cool, 10 years
- 2:07:39ago. I, it's good as a game.
- 2:07:42I'm so glad I missed. That because now I can miss the
- 2:07:46show and not feel like I've missed anything.
- 2:07:51I mean, I don't like, I don't like, I don't like zombie
- 2:07:55anything. But like, as far as that goes, I
- 2:07:59mean it was I'm more excited for the return of Yellowstone that I
- 2:08:04am for, you know, I honestly like I might be a bit of a
- 2:08:10hipster, but there's very little modern film or television.
- 2:08:14I watch it all. Unless you count wrestling with
- 2:08:17my son. Yeah, no me.
- 2:08:20Me to all well. Most of most, my most my films
- 2:08:23are most, my films are like 80s and 90s films that I want.
- 2:08:29And I mean, Taxi Driver, even so you from this 70s, yeah, I'm a
- 2:08:36bit of a, like a like a 50s 60s, like kind of guy.
- 2:08:41And the reason for that is the average like writing grade level
- 2:08:46in the 50s and 60s on television with something like eighth or
- 2:08:49ninth grade. And now it's Actually second
- 2:08:52grade. Yeah, I mean there's I'm not
- 2:08:57disagreeing with you on that at all.
- 2:09:00It's the same thing. Musically.
- 2:09:01Like people say like music is gotten worse over the years and
- 2:09:04one way you could kind of objectively prove that
- 2:09:08conclusion is the fact that It does suck.
- 2:09:16It does suck but it's time I forgot what I was gonna say.
- 2:09:19Never mind. Well II, think we visiting some
- 2:09:22of the classic films for my childhood has been worth it
- 2:09:26right? Like Shrek it also speaks of
- 2:09:28alienation right like in its simplest form.
- 2:09:32No, you know, he's an onion, he's got layers.
- 2:09:36Well, he's he's socially emotionally and physically
- 2:09:38fucking isolated. Yeah, he has to live in a swamp.
- 2:09:43Any likes it because, like, like Shrek is actually a tale of
- 2:09:47stoicism in my opinion, at least, to begin with his
- 2:09:51stoicism of accepting, his swamp lifestyle and learning to love
- 2:09:55it. Is then interrupted by what he
- 2:09:57was missing the whole time. But through his stoicism, he's
- 2:10:01able to seize upon the opportunity.
- 2:10:04Yeah, well, he goes out and it's kind of a hero's journey and
- 2:10:07he's kind of like doesn't even know why he needs to go and the
- 2:10:12hero's journey. But at the end, And he realizes
- 2:10:14that like he built a family that loves him and like met friends
- 2:10:18and stuff along the way. I mean, it's a very, very simple
- 2:10:20tale and that he wants so good. And in subsequent movies, he
- 2:10:25wants to go back to that. Like, he misses it because it
- 2:10:29was a simpler time. I've always been first one.
- 2:10:32I will. I will recommend the second one
- 2:10:34on the third one. Okay.
- 2:10:37The second, the second one's pretty good.
- 2:10:39Yeah, look, I got a seven-year-old.
- 2:10:42I seen them all. All okay.
- 2:10:44Yeah, no. No, I'm sure you have also this
- 2:10:46highly recommend children's movies.
- 2:10:48Highly recommend because it's worth watching as an adult
- 2:10:50honestly. And truly the first Minions
- 2:10:53movie. Well, I just want to say very
- 2:10:55funny just to finish the thought that I think Shrek story is
- 2:10:59offers a powerful message of inclusivity and acceptance that
- 2:11:03is just as relevant today as when the film was released.
- 2:11:09Yeah. Okay, chat TPT this is
- 2:11:17hilarious. IM I just hooked up falling down
- 2:11:21on iTunes. I don't own it surprisingly.
- 2:11:25But do you want to guess what the what what movie is in the
- 2:11:30related to Kong right next to it under related films?
- 2:11:36I I wouldn't even have a fucking idea.
- 2:11:40What is it? It's, it's it's Nick went has
- 2:11:44his favorite movie. I wouldn't know what that is,
- 2:11:49the judge. Oh my God, the Joker.
- 2:11:53Oh. Yeah, that makes sense.
- 2:11:55That's a great I guess thats related because it also deals
- 2:11:58with alienation. Yeah.
- 2:12:01And also and they wonder why it was successful.
- 2:12:03Huh. Oh my God I forgot that Robert
- 2:12:06Duvall is in Falling Down. Okay that's that's Reason enough
- 2:12:14for me to watch it again is Robert Duvall.
- 2:12:17I'll tell you if you watch it again.
- 2:12:19Now Winslet. You probably not watching a few
- 2:12:21years. Write the dialogue.
- 2:12:24It's been like 10. Yeah, dude.
- 2:12:27The dialogue will grab you by the throat in that film right
- 2:12:31now. You'll be like, holy shit.
- 2:12:34How is this a movie from the 90s?
- 2:12:36You know, how are they writing about all this?
- 2:12:38It's really good. I don't know.
- 2:12:40I could glow about fucking falling down all day and I'm not
- 2:12:42a big movie guy, but that's I I could glow about Lonesome, Dove
- 2:12:48fair fair. I mean, back before, everything
- 2:12:54was a miniseries because now we have a nice like, everything as
- 2:12:59a miniseries. But back when miniseries were
- 2:13:02actually good, And that, that was a.
- 2:13:05That's like one of the great epic western western.
- 2:13:09So, but yeah. So anything, I know that Max you
- 2:13:20really have to get to bed or, you know, tuck your kid and
- 2:13:23there's something but Anything else?
- 2:13:27Gentlemen? I I know shmuel, you and I have
- 2:13:31her on Wednesday. Yeah.
- 2:13:34Well, we can announce the merchandise.
- 2:13:39Oh yeah, we're smelling. We're selling 10 paintings that
- 2:13:44have been done by Sam himself and each of them will be signed.
- 2:13:49So you know, that's real with his name his address and his
- 2:13:52social security number there will only be five ever made in
- 2:13:56existence. Yeah, he's the best.
- 2:14:05Yeah, I'll buy one. Shut up and take my money.
- 2:14:12You know, aside from all this other shit like you gotta, you
- 2:14:15gotta unwind to. That's why we're talking movies.
- 2:14:18Or games earlier on is like you can't be in the grind of this
- 2:14:21fight all day every day. If you get to Doom scrolling,
- 2:14:26it's usually really bad. For your mindset.
- 2:14:29And so in honor of that, I just picked up a steamed deck.
- 2:14:34And I've been having a lot of fun with that this week.
- 2:14:37Oh yeah, I wanted, I wanted to ask you about that.
- 2:14:40How is the steam deck? I've been debating, whether or
- 2:14:42not to well to get one. Do you like to Tinker?
- 2:14:49Ah, yeah. I I do then it's worth it if you
- 2:14:54don't, you know if it's because like I went to town the other
- 2:14:59day on it. I have all.
- 2:15:01I don't know if you can even see the screen.
- 2:15:02But I have like thousands of emulators or emulated games from
- 2:15:08everything. I have switched games on here,
- 2:15:10all the way to like NES, and I got a whole bunch of fucking
- 2:15:13games. It runs AAA games at like either
- 2:15:1660 or you know, some of the higher end.
- 2:15:19Games, you can set them to like 40 frames per second.
- 2:15:24It's really comfortable. It's a full Linux operating
- 2:15:27system. You can install Windows on it.
- 2:15:29They let you open it up, if it breaks if you're into that kind
- 2:15:32of thing. So, yeah, I would recommend it.
- 2:15:35If you're the kind of person, the Lakes computer games
- 2:15:38tinkering and like Tech shit, which is me, I should have
- 2:15:43bought it a year ago, but I didn't want to wait when they
- 2:15:45were sending them out in batches, so I waited till now.
- 2:15:48Yeah. Also, I will say I got the, the
- 2:15:51cheapest one because, you know, the The bigger ones have bigger
- 2:15:55hard drives. I got the four hundred dollar
- 2:15:57one. It has 64 gig built-in but you
- 2:16:00can just replace that. So and the cheapest one, it came
- 2:16:05with the fucking case and it's a nice case.
- 2:16:07Usually handheld consoles, don't come with a case.
- 2:16:10Yeah, no, that's what I've heard.
- 2:16:13I miss, I used to have a PSP back and in the day and that's
- 2:16:18kind of what I was into because, like, I like to Tinker in with
- 2:16:20the PSP, right? I was all into hacking and
- 2:16:23fucking, yeah. Homebrew the I saw this as like,
- 2:16:27a PSP on steroids made by Valve. Who's my favorite gaming
- 2:16:32company. So, dude, back in the day I had
- 2:16:36Winamp on my PSP. And that's and that's how I
- 2:16:42discovered like Alex Jones in 2007 or 2008.
- 2:16:47And like, at taught at the time I was still like a bush fans
- 2:16:53like it kind of made me. Me a bit mad.
- 2:16:56He was thinking of the 9/11 was an inside job, which I still
- 2:17:00don't think is the case. But mainly, because I think
- 2:17:03Bush, I think bush is too stupid to actually cover anything up
- 2:17:09and have it. Not like The real.
- 2:17:12But me, see how it looks. Oh, I'm on the bottom, so it
- 2:17:16covers it up. But, yeah, you can just turn it
- 2:17:18into a desktop mode and then it's a full Linux desktop PC.
- 2:17:25It's even got like a start menu and all that shit.
- 2:17:29Yeah. It like you can Netflix Spotify
- 2:17:35all that shit. You can install on it to, you
- 2:17:37can browse the web with it. It's got the track pads that act
- 2:17:41as fucking I don't know. Yeah, I loved it and I figured
- 2:17:45it'd be a good chance to kind of humble brag that I got one.
- 2:17:48I highly highly recommend if you're into tinkering and PC
- 2:17:52gaming valve valve, doesn't miss.
- 2:17:56I mean. So the thing is I'm weird
- 2:18:00because I don't love to Tinker like it's not a thing but like I
- 2:18:06will tinkerer even so if it makes sense that the tinkering
- 2:18:11isn't high high level shit, there's a lot of like plugins
- 2:18:14and so what I mean by tinkering is let's say you put a game in
- 2:18:18and it's not running really. Well there's a lot of settings,
- 2:18:22you can set the the wattage that the battery is putting out.
- 2:18:26So maybe you give it more wattage, you can do all little
- 2:18:31things like that to try and Get the best frame rate possible.
- 2:18:33But also, and this is one of the coolest things is there's a
- 2:18:37plug-in because of course, there is because it's steamed, right?
- 2:18:41So everything's a mod and a plug-in.
- 2:18:43There's a plug-in where you can take the settings that you have
- 2:18:47in a game that work for you and you can save them and share them
- 2:18:50with everybody else. And so really, all I have to do
- 2:18:53now is click on the save profile.
- 2:18:56Somebody else made and then it'll make the game Run like
- 2:19:01that. And they've sold over a million
- 2:19:04of them. So it's actually surprising to
- 2:19:06me how many games are working and valve has a verification
- 2:19:11system because not every PC game ever made is going to work on
- 2:19:15the steam deck, right? And so they have like a check
- 2:19:18mark. If it's like works perfectly.
- 2:19:22They have like a little yellow icon if it's playable but
- 2:19:24there's some issues and then they have like ones that haven't
- 2:19:29even been tested yet. They make it really easy.
- 2:19:32Do you think they're going to come out with like, a V2 version
- 2:19:36of? They just announced this
- 2:19:38actually last week that yes, they will not for many years
- 2:19:42because although, there are more powerful handhelds already on
- 2:19:46the market. Most of them are in China in the
- 2:19:49reason that they exist at all, is because they can't get the
- 2:19:52steam deck in China. So they made a bunch of like,
- 2:19:54Windows knockoff hand holds that are more powerful than the steam
- 2:19:58deck but it turns out that doesn't actually We matter
- 2:20:02because this is not running at 1080p is 720p widescreen and you
- 2:20:10might think oh it's a lower resolution, that's not bad.
- 2:20:12First of all it's a small fucking screen but yeah it was
- 2:20:16seven it's big for what it is. It's a 7 inch screen but it's
- 2:20:19not like a fucking big TV and and 720p or it's like I say 800
- 2:20:28because it's 19 by 10 instead of I'm sorry 16 by 10 instead of
- 2:20:34Sixteen by nine whatever nerd shit.
- 2:20:38Essentially it being a lower resolution it makes it a lot
- 2:20:40easier to run older games so they don't need to make a new
- 2:20:43one. Not for a while.
- 2:20:46I'm not like super high on like frame.
- 2:20:50I mean like I I noticed some but like it's not like a deal.
- 2:20:56I have yet to play a game on here that run under 30 so They
- 2:21:03all run, at least 30. And most of the time you can
- 2:21:06actually set the screens refresh rate to 40.
- 2:21:10And so you lock the game at 40 FPS and the screen.
- 2:21:13Is it for it? Like it's beautiful.
- 2:21:15It works great. Sorry, I don't know, I meant to
- 2:21:17nerd out. No, no, I knowed it out about
- 2:21:20econ. Now, I'm going on about my Linux
- 2:21:23handheld. Like someone will listen, you
- 2:21:26know me? I already know.
- 2:21:28I was just telling chat GPT to make rap battles for me and The
- 2:21:32audience. I don't know this by now.
- 2:21:34I'm a, I'm a veteran nerd to know.
- 2:21:37My question was, I don't want that by one and then have you
- 2:21:40like fucking absolutely no. No.
- 2:21:43They that be that's the reason they put out that statement.
- 2:21:46They said that it's possible that they might make a model
- 2:21:49with a bigger battery or they might make a model with a nicer
- 2:21:53screen, but even that they're not looking at for a couple
- 2:21:55years. Yeah, so yeah.
- 2:21:59It's basically they want it to be a standardized thing in PC
- 2:22:04gaming. So that like developers can just
- 2:22:08say, oh well let's make the steam deck version now Like they
- 2:22:12do with consoles, that's kind of the idea, they know this is a
- 2:22:15closed system. They know what the processor is,
- 2:22:18they know what the graphics is, they know what the fucking
- 2:22:21memory is, it's not a surprise. That's the problem with
- 2:22:24optimization in a lot of PC games.
- 2:22:27Is everybody's PCS different. Yeah, even if they have the same
- 2:22:32literal physical parts in them sometimes sometimes it's just
- 2:22:37like the difference in a silicone that it just performs
- 2:22:43differently, right? Like That's kind of the beauty
- 2:22:48and also the curse of tech shit. I've also like been digging
- 2:22:51really deeply into like a lot of how they do the graphics apis
- 2:22:55because interestingly enough, again, I'm going, I'm going full
- 2:22:58nerd. Then you gave me permission and
- 2:23:00she only enough, most of the games on it, do not run on Linux
- 2:23:04they are windows games but valve worked in conjunction with the
- 2:23:09company. That makes a thing called
- 2:23:11proton, proton is essentially a Windows core Emulator.
- 2:23:16So they've made it so good that these games run perfectly fine
- 2:23:20on fucking Linux. Even though they're not a Linux
- 2:23:23game, which is like, Yeah, I'm a tech guy.
- 2:23:26That's, that's what I do, right? That's my thing.
- 2:23:29I'm a tech guy Hardware specifically in.
- 2:23:32So for me this is like nerd get some shit.
- 2:23:36Yeah. So I don't know if you remember,
- 2:23:38the are like around 2000 like 12 when net when fucking netbooks
- 2:23:45worth then but I had one and it ran fucking Windows XP but it
- 2:23:53could barely even run that So I actually can't believe I did
- 2:23:58this successfully because I had no idea what I was doing.
- 2:24:02It was just complete idiot, idiots luck, but I installed
- 2:24:07Ubuntu on to the netbook and Ubuntu had like a summer thing
- 2:24:15where you wear like it had imagined where you could run
- 2:24:18like Windows programs on if you had the wine.
- 2:24:22I me later. Proton is basically.
- 2:24:25Ali based off of that, because everything with Linux is open
- 2:24:27source, interestingly enough, it just popped up.
- 2:24:31I had a Steam OS update because this is actually running
- 2:24:35steamos, which is a version of Arch Linux.
- 2:24:39But interestingly, enough it says right here.
- 2:24:42This is, this is how crazy this little fucking handheld gaming
- 2:24:45thing is Ray. Tracing is now available in
- 2:24:49Doom, Eternal, and I've seen people running, do you me ternal
- 2:24:54with Ray tracing on. And at fucking 40 FPS on this
- 2:24:58thing, which is crazy, it won't even run that good on a fucking
- 2:25:04PS 5. Why would you want to?
- 2:25:07Why would you want to run rate raising on such a small device
- 2:25:12that these things because I can now actually, if I were to play
- 2:25:17Doom Eternal, like, I'd turn it on just to be like, cool.
- 2:25:20Look at the cool ray tracing, but the fact of the matter is
- 2:25:23the higher, your settings are and the more Performance.
- 2:25:25You're using the worse, your battery life is gonna be.
- 2:25:29Yeah, I know, I know. Yeah.
- 2:25:31But for me that's not actually a big issue because I mostly got
- 2:25:34it just to fuck around around the house.
- 2:25:36Like I'm sitting here in my office and this is where I
- 2:25:38mostly do my fucking PC gaming, which is my primary platform.
- 2:25:43And I was just like, you know what, if I had a steam deck, I
- 2:25:46could go just lay up on the couch or lay in my bed and play
- 2:25:49all the same games. I don't have to sit in my office
- 2:25:52chair and extra few hours a day. So, I annoy so, you know, as we
- 2:26:01start off the podcast, talking about how a Kaiba, you know,
- 2:26:05talks race and Lagoon. All time, I annoyed that poor
- 2:26:09guys to death because every single show I would talk about
- 2:26:13how Sony Sony missed a big fucking opportunity.
- 2:26:17They got out of the handle handheld, you know, business too
- 2:26:22early because the The PSP was awesome.
- 2:26:27The Vita the Vita. It wasn't that was a bad device.
- 2:26:31It was marketed poorly. The fact that they never came
- 2:26:36out with a hand held in conjunction with the PS5, is
- 2:26:41fucking a dude. The Vita, I wanted the Vita to
- 2:26:45be cool. Sony did their Sony shit where
- 2:26:48they're like, oh it's got a proprietary storage system.
- 2:26:52It's like, well then fuck you. That's strange.
- 2:26:55I never had the Vita. It was like $40 for a 5 GB SD
- 2:27:00card because it was different than other SD cards.
- 2:27:06Yeah, yeah, the proprietary storage.
- 2:27:08It's annoying. Well, I've only read this.
- 2:27:10Yeah, I was gonna say, I mentioned the fucking hard drive
- 2:27:13on this. Now, the 64 gig model.
- 2:27:15Obviously 64 gig for gaming is like not enough.
- 2:27:19What does it do? Oh, it's got MicroSD so you can
- 2:27:22just put in a Micro SD. You can actually install Windows
- 2:27:26on the MicroSD and run Windows on here.
- 2:27:30Just off a MicroSD and play all. Yeah.
- 2:27:33See, it's fucking crate. Like the shit you could do with
- 2:27:35it. I spent all day yesterday.
- 2:27:37Setting up my emulators, just so that I could play.
- 2:27:40Like, by the way, it plays breath of the wild better than
- 2:27:43switch does. Not surprised.
- 2:27:48Yeah. It's well I mean switches look
- 2:27:50five years old. At this point, it plays all
- 2:27:52switch games better than switch. Those pretty much or at least
- 2:27:55all the ones that it plays not. Every game is compatible.
- 2:27:59Yeah, it's fucking hilarious. Yeah.
- 2:28:02I-i've gushed enough about it. You asked if I recommend highly
- 2:28:07highly actually I think even if you're not a tinkerer, if you
- 2:28:10have a good steam Library it's worth it.
- 2:28:14And I which I Which I don't admittedly, but this might give
- 2:28:18mean motivation to get us. But the good thing too is like
- 2:28:23the steam sales or fucking legendary.
- 2:28:25Plus, if if you come join us in the PC Master race, I probably
- 2:28:29have some games I could throw your way.
- 2:28:32No, I mean, II have a Ste, I am a steam account and I do have
- 2:28:36some games, right? I'm just saying, I can help.
- 2:28:39I can help build. A matter of fact, I have such a
- 2:28:42large list of giveaway codes that we should be giving away.
- 2:28:45A fucking games here, man. I would be, I would be down.
- 2:28:50I would be down for that. Um, you know, if anybody has
- 2:28:54stayed with us and look, it's been three the whole time.
- 2:28:57So somebody might have if you stayed with us tonight.
- 2:29:00Next time, if I see enough people in chat, I'm going to
- 2:29:04drop free steam codes for good games, I could tell you some of
- 2:29:09the games I have keys for right. Anybody want SpongeBob Battle?
- 2:29:15For Bikini Bottom rehydrated that's a thirty dollar game.
- 2:29:18Anybody want Expeditions Viking endless?
- 2:29:23Space to superhot whole bunch more Star Wars Jedi following
- 2:29:30order Lego Marvel dusk. Oh No, I gave the Dusky away.
- 2:29:33I'm sorry. I actually gave Dusky away.
- 2:29:38A month ago, The Long Dark, this war of mine on and on and on I
- 2:29:43got a whole bunch of games and if we get a bunch of people in
- 2:29:45one chat, it doesn't matter which one if you prefer Rumble.
- 2:29:48You prefer Odyssey, whatever. If I see the chat popping off,
- 2:29:52I'm gonna give you all free games and if yeah, you know, I
- 2:29:57used to do audible giveaway credits way back.
- 2:30:05What back when audible used to do podcasts Cavs Partnerships
- 2:30:09which I don't think they do anymore, which is sad.
- 2:30:14Yeah, I'd love to hey if anybody wants us to do ad reads, you
- 2:30:17know, I used to do it professionally.
- 2:30:20Oh yeah. I well, I used to do ad reads
- 2:30:23semi professionally as well. So, yeah, if anybody wants to
- 2:30:28sponsor the show, you know, mostly for mostly for the
- 2:30:32podcast but you know, that's, that's always a good.
- 2:30:39So, Yeah. Yeah, free fucking Steam games,
- 2:30:46ladies and gentlemen, for live shows.
- 2:30:48If you chat, how can you how can you beat that, right?
- 2:30:54You get Sam's smiley face, some interesting conversations and of
- 2:30:58chance to win free shit. What's better than the fucking
- 2:31:00Whitfield report? Am I, right?
- 2:31:02Is that a rhetorical question? Yes, yes, yes.
- 2:31:09Because I know if I say no, All right.
- 2:31:12We got anything else Sam? No just you know Kurt do a
- 2:31:19little will be here on Wednesday.
- 2:31:23Follow follow at. Kurt Doolittle on Twitter.
- 2:31:26Oh one thing I do want to announce.
- 2:31:28Actually while we're here I have to look up the day but as most
- 2:31:36people by now who are familiar with the show?
- 2:31:39May know. And if you're not familiar,
- 2:31:42March 25th is the day when I initially launched my very first
- 2:31:49podcast all those years ago. So I consider that my podcasting
- 2:31:53anniversary and we always do a show or I've always done a show
- 2:31:59on that day, but since it's a Saturday, I'm thinking of doing
- 2:32:03a show on the 24th of March. So if anyone, I don't know if
- 2:32:10we'll do college shower, But worse, we're going to kind of be
- 2:32:14a Super Show spectacular, 15 years we gonna do it.
- 2:32:18Big look I'm going to talk to some people.
- 2:32:20Okay where we're going to we're going to make that fun this.
- 2:32:22You know we have we might amazing.
- 2:32:25We might we might get some people to come back.
- 2:32:27A lot of people are wondering how Apex game is doing.
- 2:32:30He's doing well but you know, I might be able to convince him to
- 2:32:35come To come back and maybe Paul maybe pull a Cousin Vinny and
- 2:32:41bum out the body, ha ha. Well, I'm saying I'm thinking
- 2:32:46bigger than that, but yeah, Maybe you know, maybe I just
- 2:32:51don't want to save my ideas. Yeah, I don't want a magician.
- 2:32:55Doesn't give away their trick, right?
- 2:32:57No, no I did not have to do. I, although, you know, if you,
- 2:33:01if you follow me on Twitter, you might have an idea of who some,
- 2:33:06who some of my guests are, but I'd hit but, you know, Eva mats
- 2:33:11what? That's why I gotta come with
- 2:33:13shit that surprises, even you right?
- 2:33:17Yeah, but I only folks, thanks for tuning in.
- 2:33:23Look out for the Curt. Do a little interview.
- 2:33:27Again, we're going to be pre-recording that all of
- 2:33:29though, I will drop that at the Regular Show time which is 9
- 2:33:34p.m. Eastern.
- 2:33:36So be on the lookout for that. I'm looking forward to it and
- 2:33:42other than that I have a good week folks and we'll talk a jet.
- 2:33:46Down the road. Thanks to Max.
- 2:33:48And, you know, thanks also to shmuly for coming on either.
- 2:33:55Do either you gentlemen to have anything to plug.
- 2:33:58I, I do have a new, I do new, cringing over coffee.
- 2:34:03Gonna do the dice golden thing that I've been promising and
- 2:34:05putting on for so long coming. Probably this week as well.
- 2:34:11One thing is not a plugging, anything or a recommendation.
- 2:34:14But considering the banking news of the today, I want to end on
- 2:34:17this note. Ladies and gentlemen, do not
- 2:34:20bank with mega Banks, like Webster and Bank of America.
- 2:34:24Go find yourself, your local Federal Credit Union and thank
- 2:34:28me later. Yeah, that's that's a that's a
- 2:34:34good idea for sure. Alrighty, folks, we'll see you
- 2:34:39Wednesday and oh smoothly. I didn't you have in the fucking
- 2:34:44show. What's wrong with I all righty?
- 2:34:48Well I was just checking, I don't end it because they're
- 2:34:50making him uncomfortable. You said goodbye for like the
- 2:34:54last three fucking minutes. How many times can you say
- 2:34:58goodbye and then have another caveat and then go on and on and
- 2:35:02on how many we can do this. All Night mother.
- 2:35:05Are you good? Dude, this fucking Dude, you
- 2:35:10asked like the answer isn't right?
- 2:35:17So see you Wednesday folks so long for now.
- 2:35:26Yeah, I've been sharing the hell out of this fucking video.
- 2:35:30And I appreciate it. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:35:35Thanks for listening to the Whitfield report on the NGC
- 2:35:38Network. Please visit Sam's website at
- 2:35:42www.ge.com, Whitfield.com and supports am on patreon and

- 2:35:59In that order. In that order.
