- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Right, let's go six o'clock on the dot here on
- 0:05Speaker 2: this Thursday morning. Thank you so much for starting with us.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Beyonce is halfway to an egot with her first Emmy win.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Beyonce has earned her first ever Emmy four Outstanding Costumes
- 0:17Speaker 3: for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming for her Beyonce Bowl Halftime.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Show special on Netflix.
- 0:24Speaker 3: The award recognizes her work as a costume designer alongside
- 0:27Speaker 3: her collaborators. This is obviously a major milestone for anybody
- 0:30Speaker 3: in entertainment because now that she's halfway to an egot,
- 0:34Speaker 3: which is an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony, we all
- 0:37Speaker 3: think it's Beyonce.
- 0:38Speaker 1: She's going to eventually have the egot, which is like
- 0:41Speaker 1: top tier. You've done and accomplished everything.
- 0:45Speaker 3: You possibly can in a way, and then it's like
- 0:48Speaker 3: where do you go from there? She'll find a way,
- 0:50Speaker 3: but you wonder where do you go from there? So
- 0:51Speaker 3: congrats to Beyonce. The National Sounds have announced their twenty
- 0:55Speaker 3: twenty six schedule. They're going to open the season at
- 0:57Speaker 3: home on Tuesday, March thirty, first against the sho Charlotte
- 1:00Speaker 3: Knights some keynotes about their schedule. They're gonna have home
- 1:03Speaker 3: games over Fourth of July weekend and Labor Day weekends,
- 1:07Speaker 3: so those are fun things to do with the family
- 1:08Speaker 3: if you're staying here in Nashville for those weekends. And
- 1:11Speaker 3: the twenty twenty six season will have thirty nine weekend games,
- 1:15Speaker 3: including thirteen games on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays throughout the season,
- 1:18Speaker 3: which is also a great thing to note of because
- 1:20Speaker 3: there is nothing better than going to a Sounds game
- 1:23Speaker 3: and just hanging out on a nice day.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Like before it gets super super hot out, like.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Just having a day at the Sounds is There's nothing better.
- 1:33Speaker 3: And I love this new study and what it says.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Couples who gossip together stay together. According to this study
- 1:40Speaker 3: by the University of California, So the study had participants
- 1:44Speaker 3: who gossiped for an average of thirty eight minutes per day,
- 1:47Speaker 3: with twenty nine of those minutes spent gossiping with their
- 1:50Speaker 3: significant other and gossiping after social events really made couples
- 1:54Speaker 3: feel more connected, reinforcing the idea that they're.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Quote on the same team.
- 1:59Speaker 3: All the couples who gossip reported higher levels of happiness
- 2:02Speaker 3: and relationship satisfaction, and I agree.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Would you say, would you consider yourself?
- 2:08Speaker 3: I do want to you know, Sah, I'm a gossip
- 2:11Speaker 3: I gossip about everything. But this is the thing, Like
- 2:14Speaker 3: I love gossiping with AJ because he doesn't gossip, so
- 2:19Speaker 3: he just sits there and listens to me, like unload
- 2:21Speaker 3: all of these things on him. And it's a great
- 2:24Speaker 3: way for me to be like, all right, I got
- 2:25Speaker 3: it out of my system.
- 2:26Speaker 5: I could.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I could see Aja, you're a Ricky's fiance never saying
- 2:30Speaker 2: one negative thing about anybody.
- 2:32Speaker 3: He's he really doesn't like You've got to do something
- 2:34Speaker 3: bad for him to say something negative about you, which
- 2:37Speaker 3: is why when he then agrees with me on something,
- 2:38Speaker 3: I'm like, I knew I was onto something.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I knew I was onto it.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Oh man, all right, thank you, Ricky, appreciate that.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Coming up in about fifteen minutes for the first call
- 2:48Speaker 2: of the day, more of these passes into Music City
- 2:50Speaker 2: Brewers Fest, which is happening next weekend.
- 2:52Speaker 4: We've got that for you. First call or hang tight,
- 2:55Speaker 4: they're coming. Here's Benson Boone on the River.
- 2:56Speaker 6: One, Ricky and Zach and Menno in them.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Good morning, Kristin and Murphy's Borough. Welcome to one of
- 3:02Speaker 3: seven five the River. Are you on your way to
- 3:04Speaker 3: work right now?
- 3:05Speaker 5: I am actually on my way to drop my kids
- 3:07Speaker 5: off with my sisters to take them to school, and
- 3:10Speaker 5: then I'm.
- 3:10Speaker 1: On my way to work. Okay, get in the morning started, Yes.
- 3:14Speaker 4: So what time do those kids get up?
- 3:17Speaker 5: They've been up for probably about twenty.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Minutes, Okay, around six that's it's an early morning for them.
- 3:24Speaker 7: Yeah, we're excited where you and the kids had to
- 3:26Speaker 7: go back to school. Excited.
- 3:28Speaker 8: I've been a little sad.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Something much shorter than it was when I was a kid.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it is.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Oh, that's really sweet, though, I feel like six am
- 3:34Speaker 3: is not that early, Kevin, because your kids wake up
- 3:37Speaker 3: as early as you do.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Sometimes A yeah, they're freaks, so I feel like most
- 3:42Speaker 2: kids would want to sleep in.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Nothing like a parent calling their kids a bunch of freaks. Kristin,
- 3:50Speaker 3: we hope you have a great day today. We're going
- 3:52Speaker 3: to start it off the best way that we know how,
- 3:55Speaker 3: and that's to tell you that you are the first
- 3:57Speaker 3: color of the day on one of seven five the River.
- 3:59Speaker 3: You're going to to get to be He's like city
- 4:00Speaker 3: brewis frest happening August twenty third at Walk of Fame Park.
- 4:03Speaker 3: So make sure you get a babysitter, because the kid's gotta.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Stay with someone else.
- 4:07Speaker 3: You're gonna be busy drinking samples of craft beer, hanging
- 4:10Speaker 3: out with the DJs, playing games and giveaways.
- 4:13Speaker 8: That's so exciting.
- 4:14Speaker 9: Thanks so much.
- 4:15Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 4:16Speaker 9: Hang on the line, Love, I cannot stop thinking about
- 4:18Speaker 9: the fact that you just called your children freaks, Kevin,
- 4:21Speaker 9: I did.
- 4:21Speaker 4: I meant in the most loving way possible?
- 4:24Speaker 1: Ah, I mean, honestly, you should hear the things that
- 4:26Speaker 1: my parents call me.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Another chance to win this tomorrow.
- 4:30Speaker 9: It's all out of love.
- 4:31Speaker 6: One Rickey, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Think of the cringiest movie that you have ever watched?
- 4:38Speaker 3: Times that by thirty and that is Kevin Mano's favorite
- 4:42Speaker 3: movie ever. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
- 4:45Speaker 3: On one O seven five of the River. I watched
- 4:47Speaker 3: Kevin's favorite movie, Back to the Future, and I watched
- 4:51Speaker 3: Back to the Future too good. I do not understand
- 4:55Speaker 3: how that's your favorite movie.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Can you first.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Explain why you love it so much? And then I'm
- 5:00Speaker 3: gonna tell you what I thought was so horrible about a.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Fair amount of nostalgia for me. Obviously, I watched it,
- 5:05Speaker 2: you know, the first time when I was a kid.
- 5:06Speaker 2: All those movies, I think they're very smart when you
- 5:10Speaker 2: lay out the science of the time travel in the
- 5:12Speaker 2: timeline where he's already making a face like she doesn't
- 5:15Speaker 2: believe me. There's like a lot of little easter eggs
- 5:18Speaker 2: and hidden things that you know over the years you
- 5:21Speaker 2: just learn about.
- 5:22Speaker 4: You're like, oh my god, wow, I didn't realize that.
- 5:24Speaker 2: So it's just kind of the gift that keeps on
- 5:25Speaker 2: giving their great movies.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Michael J.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Fox is a national treasure, as is Christopher Lloyd. I
- 5:32Speaker 2: just I love everything about Back to the coming back
- 5:34Speaker 2: to Okay, I feel like.
- 5:35Speaker 3: You can keep going, so I'm gonna cut you off here. Yes,
- 5:37Speaker 3: please let you know that number one Back to the
- 5:41Speaker 3: Future too. I liked way more than the first one, okay,
- 5:45Speaker 3: which is very much not how it normally works, right, Typically,
- 5:48Speaker 3: the first one is like, oh, this is epic, nothing
- 5:50Speaker 3: can ever top it. I liked the second one better,
- 5:52Speaker 3: and I understood a little bit more about why people
- 5:55Speaker 3: are obsessed.
- 5:56Speaker 1: With that movie, because it has a cult following. People
- 5:59Speaker 1: love that movie.
- 6:00Speaker 4: I don't even know that. You call it a cult following.
- 6:02Speaker 4: It has a huge fall, it's.
- 6:03Speaker 1: A cult following. But the first one, I don't know.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Maybe it's just me and the way that I think
- 6:10Speaker 3: about life, but I could not get past the whole
- 6:16Speaker 3: relationship thing with him and his mother.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Sure it makes sense if you've.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Watched Back to the Future, you know that it's this
- 6:25Speaker 3: kid who goes back in time, and when he goes
- 6:29Speaker 3: back in time, there's this very weird scenario where like
- 6:33Speaker 3: his mother, who is a young teenager like falls in
- 6:36Speaker 3: love with him.
- 6:37Speaker 7: Ew Yes, why do you like this movie so much?
- 6:41Speaker 4: Kevin?
- 6:41Speaker 2: It's not it don't make me weird weird. It don't
- 6:45Speaker 2: sound like I like the movie because of that relation.
- 6:47Speaker 2: That's the only reason you like it. No, I recently
- 6:51Speaker 2: watched this movie with my kids, and yes, all of
- 6:54Speaker 2: that freaked us out.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Like Ally and I were looking at each other like, oh.
- 6:57Speaker 2: God, maybe like that is very weird, but that's a
- 7:00Speaker 2: like it's supposed to be weird in the movie.
- 7:02Speaker 4: That's kind of a large piece of the plot.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they made it a little too weird.
- 7:06Speaker 3: And I just could not get past that point in
- 7:09Speaker 3: the first one, and every time any moment happened between
- 7:12Speaker 3: him and his mom, I would just go, oh, no,
- 7:14Speaker 3: why is this happening? And then when the second one happened,
- 7:17Speaker 3: I was like, Okay, I can get behind this. And
- 7:19Speaker 3: then there's a moment where he goes back to that moment,
- 7:21Speaker 3: and I was like, why are we.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Doing this yet?
- 7:24Speaker 9: I just feel like, after hearing everything that you had
- 7:27Speaker 9: to say, Kevin, I love you so much, but I'm
- 7:29Speaker 9: never watching this movie.
- 7:31Speaker 7: I can't do it.
- 7:32Speaker 4: It is a classic. I mean these movies.
- 7:34Speaker 2: It's not like these weird little like uh obscure references
- 7:37Speaker 2: that nobody's ever seen before, like these are known to
- 7:40Speaker 2: be some of the greatest movies of all time.
- 7:42Speaker 1: No, they are not.
- 7:44Speaker 3: I I won't say that I regret watching them.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I'm happy that I watched them. I watched them.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Specifically because Kevin said they're his favorite, so I was like,
- 7:53Speaker 3: let me watch.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I want to know what this is about.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I just the whole time put into something about why
- 7:58Speaker 3: do you love this so much?
- 7:59Speaker 4: Because of the best movies ever.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Let me just throw one tiny little cool detail at you.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Then we can move on past back to the future.
- 8:05Speaker 2: So when Marty gets to the mall. First beginning of
- 8:09Speaker 2: the first movie, it's the Twin Pines Mall. Okay, okay,
- 8:11Speaker 2: And then he takes off in the DeLorean and he
- 8:16Speaker 2: is in the fifties and he goes crashing through one
- 8:18Speaker 2: of these two pine trees. Okay, there's two pine trees there,
- 8:21Speaker 2: and they make a reference to the old man Peabody
- 8:24Speaker 2: gonna raise pines whatever.
- 8:25Speaker 4: So he crashes through one of the two.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Later at the end of the movie when he goes
- 8:29Speaker 2: back to the movie, it is the Lone Pine mall,
- 8:32Speaker 2: because one of those two it's not the Twin Pines anymore.
- 8:35Speaker 2: It's the Lone Like it's these all these subtle little things,
- 8:38Speaker 2: these little details.
- 8:38Speaker 7: They don't thought that was interesting enough to tell us.
- 8:43Speaker 4: I've got so many, Zach, that was just one.
- 8:45Speaker 9: I'm sure everyone in the car right now wants to
- 8:47Speaker 9: turn the car off this side.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Of the road. And yeah, and watch Back to the Future.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Don't watch it if you have it.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Three you need to know all right after seven o'clock
- 8:56Speaker 2: on this Thursday morning, Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Taylor Swift.
- 9:01Speaker 3: She was on the Kelsey Brothers podcast New Heights last
- 9:04Speaker 3: night to discuss the erastour and to talk about her
- 9:06Speaker 3: upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl. She truly gave
- 9:09Speaker 3: us so much from this interview. I highly suggest that
- 9:13Speaker 3: you go listen to it or watch it because there's
- 9:16Speaker 3: so much happening. But I'm going to let her tell
- 9:18Speaker 3: you the biggest chunks that you need to know about
- 9:21Speaker 3: everything that she said with this one clip.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Here you go.
- 9:24Speaker 10: Every single song is on this album for hundreds of reasons,
- 9:30Speaker 10: you know, And you couldn't take one out and it
- 9:33Speaker 10: be the same album. You couldn't add one, and it's
- 9:36Speaker 10: just right. That focus and that kind of discipline with
- 9:39Speaker 10: creating an album and keeping the bar really high is
- 9:41Speaker 10: something I've been wanting to do for a very long time.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Okay, So the album Life of a Show Girl has
- 9:47Speaker 3: twelve tracks on it. It's coming out October. It's going
- 9:50Speaker 3: to be huge. Obviously, you need to, you know, mark
- 9:53Speaker 3: your calendars, be ready for it, because this is gonna
- 9:56Speaker 3: be a big one.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I will say, just so you know. The two things
- 10:01Speaker 1: that I have about the thoughts of this interview.
- 10:03Speaker 3: One, I could not stop smiling about Travis Kelcey' support
- 10:06Speaker 3: of Taylor. He hyped her up in every way shape
- 10:08Speaker 3: and form, And I've just always believed that everyone deserves
- 10:11Speaker 3: a partner who hypes them up. If you do not
- 10:14Speaker 3: have a partner who hypes you up, dump them. Get
- 10:16Speaker 3: somebody who will. That's one hundred percent just.
- 10:18Speaker 1: What I believe.
- 10:19Speaker 3: If they do not support you in every little thing
- 10:20Speaker 3: that you do. She was talking about how she makes
- 10:23Speaker 3: sour dough breads and how she sews, and she was like,
- 10:26Speaker 3: I can only sew two things, and he's hyping her
- 10:28Speaker 3: up about the two things that she knows how to.
- 10:30Speaker 1: So that's how your relationship should be.
- 10:31Speaker 3: The support is so important. And number two, my prediction
- 10:35Speaker 3: is that this is going to be a nineties pop vibe.
- 10:38Speaker 3: This album is going to have a nineties pop vibe
- 10:40Speaker 3: is what I think is going to be what we
- 10:42Speaker 3: are getting from the life of a show Girl. I
- 10:44Speaker 3: could be wrong, you never know, but that's just that's
- 10:47Speaker 3: the vibe that I'm getting.
- 10:48Speaker 1: After watching the entirety of it.
- 10:49Speaker 3: You can listen to the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Highly suggest the New Hypes podcast.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Go listen for yourself.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Kind of crashy Internet last night, Yes it did.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Yeah, football season is almost here.
- 11:00Speaker 11: We go.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Star will once again transport Titans fans to all preseason
- 11:04Speaker 3: and regular season home games, So service begins elevenon. It's
- 11:07Speaker 3: gonna have stops along the way. Train arrives downtown an
- 11:11Speaker 3: hour before kickoff and departs one hour after the games.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Round trip tickets are currently on sale on the wigo's
- 11:16Speaker 3: website for fifteen dollars each plus a two dollars processing fee.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Parking is free at all of the.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Stations, and passengers kent tailgate at the train stations prior
- 11:26Speaker 3: to the game and on the train. Just so you know,
- 11:29Speaker 3: So this is a huge thing that will make your
- 11:31Speaker 3: life so much easier.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Take advantage of it and quick little life.
- 11:34Speaker 3: At here you can get all of Garden soup by
- 11:38Speaker 3: the gallon. A person on TikTok is gone viral for
- 11:42Speaker 3: this hack. If you love yourself some olive Garden soup.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I mean, they're known for their soup and bread stakes,
- 11:48Speaker 3: pasta yes, and their birthday song of course Kevin's favorite.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Just order gallon or a half gallon on their catering
- 11:54Speaker 3: menu and it has multiple servings in it. She's gone
- 11:57Speaker 3: viral for this. Armrique Sanchez and those are the three
- 11:59Speaker 3: things you need to know.
- 12:00Speaker 4: That's good to know, Ricky, thank you very much. Let's
- 12:03Speaker 4: play Alex Warren, Here's Ordinary.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Right after this song, we have one more thing to
- 12:07Speaker 2: teach you, Zach's Fax.
- 12:09Speaker 6: Next down the river, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Morning, seven to the river. It's time to learn grow
- 12:16Speaker 4: that brain. It's time for Zack's facts.
- 12:18Speaker 9: The other day, Ricky and I randomly fell upon this
- 12:21Speaker 9: fact that it just blew both of our minds. But
- 12:23Speaker 9: did you know that Tricia Yearward and Leanne Rhimes released
- 12:26Speaker 9: the exact same song on the exact same day.
- 12:29Speaker 4: What do you mean by the exact same song title?
- 12:31Speaker 7: It is called how Do I Live That?
- 12:32Speaker 9: Here's Tricia and here's Leanne. It's literally the exact same song,
- 12:49Speaker 9: written by Diane Warren, and it was released on May twenty,
- 12:52Speaker 9: nineteen ninety seven by both of them.
- 12:54Speaker 4: It seems like it had to be intentional, right.
- 12:57Speaker 9: Tricia, She sang it for on air the film I
- 13:01Speaker 9: Love That Hers was in the movie, and LeAnn Rimes
- 13:03Speaker 9: went to.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Radio Ricky, have you ever seen conn Air?
- 13:06Speaker 1: Of course I have?
- 13:07Speaker 4: Okay, good, you like that one.
- 13:08Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Okay, she was making fun of my favorite movie earlier. Anyway, interesting, Zach,
- 13:12Speaker 2: I had no idea.
- 13:13Speaker 4: There's a factor today.
- 13:14Speaker 6: One O seven five the River, Ricky Zach and Minnow
- 13:18Speaker 6: in the Morning.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Soft or hard cookies. It's one O seven five the River.
- 13:23Speaker 3: That's the simple question we are asking all because of
- 13:25Speaker 3: yesterday's daily double Tap. We do the daily double tap
- 13:28Speaker 3: every day around eight point fifty.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Where we play you a clip of something.
- 13:31Speaker 3: That's either gone viral or we find interesting and we
- 13:35Speaker 3: play it for you on the radio. Yesterday's was a
- 13:37Speaker 3: debate about softer hard cookies, which obviously just caused chaos.
- 13:41Speaker 7: Oh we all got into it.
- 13:43Speaker 4: It's a divisive topic.
- 13:45Speaker 2: So we want you to call six one five seven,
- 13:47Speaker 2: three seven nine one oh seven and really.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Make the case for hard or soft, because I just.
- 13:52Speaker 1: We're split in this room.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I can't imagine anybody who wants to eat a hard cookie.
- 13:56Speaker 3: I love a hard cookie, oh see, and I have
- 13:59Speaker 3: a totally different take on all of this.
- 14:01Speaker 4: So let us know where you stand.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Six one five seven, three seven.
- 14:04Speaker 6: Nine, Ky Zach and men in the Morning after hard cookies.
- 14:10Speaker 3: That is the question we pose today on one oh
- 14:13Speaker 3: seven five of the River. We had a daily double
- 14:15Speaker 3: tap yesterday that was a debate about this, and obviously.
- 14:17Speaker 1: The three of us got into it because we can
- 14:19Speaker 1: do it about.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Every debate you could possibly imagine. But before we say
- 14:23Speaker 3: our stance in depth, Destiny and Lebanon, what do you
- 14:26Speaker 3: think are you more of a soft cookie person or
- 14:29Speaker 3: a hard cookie person?
- 14:30Speaker 8: A soft cookie? But do you know the chewy cookies,
- 14:34Speaker 8: I feel like those are two soft Okay, I.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Don't disagree with that. Yeah, it's like gum.
- 14:38Speaker 8: Yeah, it's like too chwy, it's like sticky.
- 14:41Speaker 7: But I don't.
- 14:42Speaker 8: I don't like hard cookies at all.
- 14:45Speaker 9: Okay, So whatever you think about a hard cookie, you're
- 14:47Speaker 9: telling me you don't like oreos that's.
- 14:51Speaker 8: Well soaked the oreos in the milk. Oh I kind
- 14:54Speaker 8: of soft?
- 14:56Speaker 3: Yes, see, that's my caveat here with the hard cookies.
- 14:59Speaker 3: I like hard cookie, but I like them because I
- 15:01Speaker 3: dip them in milk enough where they get a little
- 15:03Speaker 3: bit soft. Yeah, to the point where I like it,
- 15:05Speaker 3: which is a science, you know, like there's a certain
- 15:07Speaker 3: amount of time that you've got to leave it in
- 15:09Speaker 3: there to make it.
- 15:09Speaker 1: The right the right texture, and then I enjoy a
- 15:12Speaker 1: hard cook I.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Do feel like Zach brings up an interesting point, though
- 15:15Speaker 2: we kind of need to establish what sort of cookie
- 15:17Speaker 2: you were talking about here, because in my mind it's.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Chocolate chip and I get that too, because some cookies.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I really like his soft cookies as well. So this
- 15:25Speaker 1: is this is really in depth here.
- 15:27Speaker 7: It depends on the type of cookie it is, I guess.
- 15:29Speaker 8: I guess it does depend on the type of cookie.
- 15:31Speaker 8: But overall I would go with soft cookies just because, like,
- 15:35Speaker 8: if I had a choice for the rest of my life,
- 15:37Speaker 8: then I could only eat a soft cookie or a
- 15:40Speaker 8: hard cookie. I would definitely go with the softer.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Qu here, I'm with you point for soft. Thank you, Destiny.
- 15:46Speaker 3: We appreciate you.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Have a great day, you too, Robin and Shelbyville. Are
- 15:51Speaker 1: you soft or hard cookie fan?
- 15:54Speaker 5: Typically soft? However hard just have a place like in
- 15:58Speaker 5: like a mascotti. Are oreal want dunk them?
- 16:03Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 16:03Speaker 2: You know, I don't understand Wiscoatti's I mean just go
- 16:06Speaker 2: eat a stick on the ground outside.
- 16:08Speaker 5: Oh, Kevin nobly understand.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't at all.
- 16:18Speaker 1: All right, Robin, thank you so much for calling in.
- 16:20Speaker 1: It looks like we got two points for the soft cookies.
- 16:24Speaker 7: Kevin feels so validated right now.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Absolutely, I will say, you want to know what. I
- 16:28Speaker 1: like soft cookies.
- 16:29Speaker 3: There is a local cookie shop here, Pink Door Cookies. Yeah,
- 16:34Speaker 3: gluten free cookies ever, and they're they're kind of like
- 16:39Speaker 3: soft and then also a little bit crispy on the edges.
- 16:41Speaker 1: So it's like the mix of the.
- 16:43Speaker 7: Jew the perfect combination.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Yes, that's oh that's my jam hungry.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Do you like cap'n Crunch cereal?
- 16:50Speaker 9: I like Captain Crunch Cereal to sit in my milk
- 16:53Speaker 9: for a long time.
- 16:54Speaker 2: See, because that that that's on par with a hard
- 16:56Speaker 2: cookie for me, just something that's just going to destroy
- 16:58Speaker 2: your mouth.
- 16:59Speaker 7: I think everyone that has said hard cookie has said
- 17:01Speaker 7: they like to dunk it. Yes, Like I don't know
- 17:03Speaker 7: anybody that.
- 17:04Speaker 9: Just eats a raw hard cookie and gets dust all
- 17:06Speaker 9: over their face, a raw hard cookie, Like, yeah, you
- 17:10Speaker 9: gotta dunk it in something six.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Seven three seven nine seven. If you'd like to join
- 17:15Speaker 4: this conversation about soft.
- 17:16Speaker 6: And hard cookies one seven five The River, Ricky, Zach
- 17:20Speaker 6: and Menno in.
- 17:20Speaker 2: The in the morning on the River having a serious
- 17:24Speaker 2: debate this morning about cookies soft versus hard Chase in Nashville.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Where do you stand?
- 17:30Speaker 2: So?
- 17:31Speaker 9: I think that if it's a freshly baked cookie, it's
- 17:34Speaker 9: got to be soft.
- 17:35Speaker 7: But if it's a package cookie, it's got to be hard.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Interesting, This is not a bad take here, Chase, because
- 17:42Speaker 3: there's nothing like a freshly baked cookie right out the
- 17:45Speaker 3: oven where it's warm and gooey exactly exactly.
- 17:48Speaker 8: But then you can get like a girl Scout cookie, like.
- 17:51Speaker 6: A samoa or a thin mint.
- 17:53Speaker 7: You put a thin min.
- 17:54Speaker 5: In the freezer and that's hard and it's delicious.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, we're making it more hard on purpose.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Yeah, but you wouldn't want it.
- 18:00Speaker 2: You wouldn't go for like the soft baked chocolate chip
- 18:02Speaker 2: cookies in the grocery store.
- 18:04Speaker 9: Non, den Some people actually know how to use their oven.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't.
- 18:11Speaker 7: I don't think he's ever turned it on.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Jase, Thank you so much for calling in. We appreciate you.
- 18:16Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Have a great day, you too, buddy.
- 18:19Speaker 1: We got Zilah and Amari and Murphysboro.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Tell us, are you guys divided or do you both
- 18:24Speaker 3: agree on this?
- 18:25Speaker 1: The same kind of cookie you like? Is it soft
- 18:26Speaker 1: or hard?
- 18:29Speaker 7: Soft all the way? Oh mom? Are you on the
- 18:32Speaker 7: same Yeah?
- 18:34Speaker 1: And warm and warm?
- 18:36Speaker 3: That seems to be the thing that everybody is saying
- 18:38Speaker 3: is like, if it's soft, it's gotta be warm, like
- 18:41Speaker 3: freshly baked.
- 18:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:43Speaker 2: And the fact that everybody that likes hard cookies has
- 18:46Speaker 2: to dip them to make them soft first.
- 18:47Speaker 4: I mean that tells you everything you need to know.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Like they're still getting.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Themselves a soft cookie, they just have to go through
- 18:52Speaker 2: an extra step to get there.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Okay, Kevin, No need to call anybody out like that.
- 18:56Speaker 7: Well, I to it more like a condiment. You know,
- 18:59Speaker 7: I love my condiment, So I love it? Is that maryall?
- 19:07Speaker 1: Today?
- 19:11Speaker 7: How's that not a valid point? Milk is now a content?
- 19:14Speaker 4: Debate for another day? Is milk a content? And by
- 19:17Speaker 4: the way, this time yesterday.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Zach was proudly saying he does not know how to
- 19:21Speaker 2: use his washing machine, and now he's.
- 19:22Speaker 7: Well, I can use the oven, just not the washing machine.
- 19:24Speaker 8: Wait?
- 19:25Speaker 3: Can I also just to piggyback what Zach said, when
- 19:28Speaker 3: I stayed at Kevin's, I had to literally call him
- 19:31Speaker 3: to ask him how to use the oven, because I
- 19:33Speaker 3: texted him it's this.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Crazy oven that he has, and I was like, how
- 19:36Speaker 1: do you turn this thing on?
- 19:37Speaker 3: And he literally said, Uh, You're gonna have to facetimey
- 19:40Speaker 3: because I don't actually know, I have to look at
- 19:42Speaker 3: it YouTube.
- 19:44Speaker 2: We just moved and I am so happy to be
- 19:46Speaker 2: so far away from that oven.
- 19:47Speaker 4: It is impossible to you. We've got Katy Perry.
- 19:51Speaker 6: Tickets night, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning Air playing.
- 19:56Speaker 3: A Katy Perry pop quiz today for Kevin Mando's Game
- 19:59Speaker 3: of the Day on one seven five of the River.
- 20:01Speaker 3: She's gonna be here in Nashville at Bridge Soon Arena
- 20:04Speaker 3: August nineteenth. So next week we are so excited. You
- 20:07Speaker 3: gotta get two out of three right for this Katy
- 20:09Speaker 3: Perry pop quiz, or, as Kevin.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Calls it, Hey Katie Perry query because it kind of rhymes.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Let's say good morning to Jessica.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Hi Jessica, Good morning guys.
- 20:19Speaker 4: What do you have to to Oh, you know what?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Really quick before we get to the game, did you
- 20:22Speaker 2: hear a previous conversation about softer hard cookies.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with daw.
- 20:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:26Speaker 1: It seems to be the winner. Everybody's saying saw it.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Thank you, Jessica. You get the tickets. They're not even
- 20:31Speaker 4: playing the game now.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I like to hear that.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Katie's here on Tuesday.
- 20:35Speaker 2: You can see her if you get two out of
- 20:37Speaker 2: three of these questions, right, Jessica, You're Katie Perry. Pop
- 20:41Speaker 2: quiz starts right now. In twenty eleven, Katie Perry voiced
- 20:47Speaker 2: the character in What Animated Movie and then reprise that
- 20:51Speaker 2: role in twenty thirteen.
- 20:55Speaker 8: I think it is smart, right smart?
- 20:58Speaker 4: Yeah, she was surfad good job.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I did not know that answered.
- 21:02Speaker 2: I think Demi Levada was smurfed at one point. Now
- 21:04Speaker 2: Rihanna is the most recent smurfet.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Yes, that's who I thought of when I think of
- 21:08Speaker 3: you know, sir, job Jessica.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Nice to have you're on the board.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Rapper Juicy J appears on Which of Katy Perry's hit songs?
- 21:19Speaker 1: Isn't that Dark Course?
- 21:21Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 21:22Speaker 2: Like that Juicy J of three six Mafia? Yeah, dark Horse. Congratulations.
- 21:28Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 21:29Speaker 3: You're going to see Katy Perry next week August it
- 21:31Speaker 3: at Bridge Stone Arena.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Thank you so much for hanging out with us and
- 21:34Speaker 1: for playing the game. Jessica, you did that so quick. Awesome.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Hang on the line, love, we gotta get your info.
- 21:39Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Wow, I mean that was record time.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I'm impressed, truly.
- 21:43Speaker 9: I mean you said you wanted a big fan, clearly.
- 21:46Speaker 9: She knows a lot about Katy Perry.
- 21:47Speaker 4: She did it.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna play the same game tomorrow, Last Chance
- 21:50Speaker 2: of the week with US seven forty five tomorrow. Jonathan
- 21:52Speaker 2: still has more at five forty five this afternoon. If
- 21:54Speaker 2: you want to grab them, then three things. Well, all right,
- 21:58Speaker 2: thank you for being here star. This Thursday morning with US,
- 22:01Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Tennis star Venus Williams is going to be a Barbie.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Venus is being honored with a Barbie doll as part
- 22:08Speaker 3: of the Inspiring Women's Series.
- 22:10Speaker 1: She picked the dress for her Barbie.
- 22:12Speaker 3: That she would wear and decided on the one that
- 22:14Speaker 3: she wore during the two thousand and seven Wimbledon Wimbledon.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Title that you won.
- 22:19Speaker 3: That year, men and women earned equal prize money for
- 22:21Speaker 3: the first.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Time at Wimbledon, so a very huge moment in sports history.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Venus recently earned a wildcard entry into this year's US Open,
- 22:30Speaker 3: which starts x Monday, so I'm sure we're gonna hear
- 22:32Speaker 3: a lot more about her soon.
- 22:33Speaker 1: But this is really really cool.
- 22:34Speaker 3: I love that Barbie is doing things like this and
- 22:37Speaker 3: expanding what Barbie really means for young girls.
- 22:41Speaker 1: So very cool stuff.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Metropolis is doing something really cool for musicians.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I'm very happy to see this.
- 22:47Speaker 3: It's called park and Play, so musicians can park four
- 22:50Speaker 3: free in twenty five lots operated by Metropolis when playing
- 22:54Speaker 3: venues across Nashville. Members of the National Musicians Union and
- 22:58Speaker 3: musicians playing at Musician Venue Alliance National venues are eligible
- 23:02Speaker 3: to take advantage of park and Play. It starts Friday,
- 23:05Speaker 3: like this Friday. Additional details, including the list of parking
- 23:09Speaker 3: lots participating, are all available at the Park and Play website.
- 23:12Speaker 3: But this is really really amazing. It's one of the
- 23:14Speaker 3: things that musicians have been speaking up about more and
- 23:17Speaker 3: more in the sense that you know they're working for tips.
- 23:20Speaker 1: It's hard out here for them to actually make substantial money.
- 23:24Speaker 3: And as anybody knows who goes to downtown Nashville or
- 23:27Speaker 3: lives in the area, these lots call.
- 23:30Speaker 1: So much money.
- 23:32Speaker 3: If you walk away with one hundred dollars in tips,
- 23:34Speaker 3: you're paying two hundred dollars in parking just to make
- 23:37Speaker 3: that one hundred.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Dollars in tips.
- 23:38Speaker 4: So you're it's just gonna keep going up crazy, exactly.
- 23:42Speaker 1: So this is really amazing.
- 23:43Speaker 3: I'm happy to see that they're doing this for our
- 23:44Speaker 3: local musicians take advantage of it if you are part
- 23:47Speaker 3: of the National Musicians Union or if you're playing at
- 23:52Speaker 3: any of the venues that are part of this as well.
- 23:55Speaker 3: This is kind of a bummer Kodak Camera company. They
- 23:59Speaker 3: said that they may not survive much longer. They've been
- 24:01Speaker 3: around for one hundred and thirty three years, but there
- 24:04Speaker 3: is substantial doubt.
- 24:05Speaker 1: They said that they're going to be able to stay
- 24:07Speaker 1: in business.
- 24:08Speaker 3: They've had a really hard time since, you know, digital
- 24:11Speaker 3: cameras began replacing film cameras, and they filed for bankruptcy
- 24:15Speaker 3: back in twenty twelve. So the fact that they've lasted
- 24:17Speaker 3: that much longer past that point, it's kind.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Of a big deal.
- 24:19Speaker 3: But I'm really hoping that they can figure out a
- 24:21Speaker 3: way to keep going. Obviously, there are plenty of professional
- 24:25Speaker 3: photographers that still use film cameras and still very much
- 24:29Speaker 3: look ta Kodak for you know, their certain type of film,
- 24:32Speaker 3: the pieces that they need for their cameras and things
- 24:34Speaker 3: like that, and it's just kind of sad to think that.
- 24:37Speaker 1: They could be no more.
- 24:38Speaker 3: So hopefully they can figure something out finger stauts they
- 24:40Speaker 3: can stick around. Seriously, figures crossed. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and
- 24:43Speaker 3: those are the three things you need to know.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Thank you very much, Ricky. A little later, this how
- 24:47Speaker 4: we're going to ask you. We'll explain this. But who
- 24:49Speaker 4: would you want to fight?
- 24:50Speaker 6: We'll get there. One O seven five the River Reicky
- 24:53Speaker 6: Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Oho was on your biton list? It's one oh seven
- 24:58Speaker 1: five of the River.
- 24:58Speaker 3: If that's a little confusing to you, don't worry. I'm
- 25:00Speaker 3: going to explain. This is a trend going around, uh
- 25:04Speaker 3: because of Tyler Chulders his song.
- 25:07Speaker 1: He says, if I have Raby's, you're high on my
- 25:10Speaker 1: button list. Here's a clip of it.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Put it plane, just don't like you, not a thing
- 25:15Speaker 2: about the way you is.
- 25:17Speaker 4: And if they ever come a time I got babies,
- 25:20Speaker 4: you're holm a button. It all makes sense now.
- 25:23Speaker 3: He's like, I just don't like you, and if I
- 25:25Speaker 3: ever get rabies, I would bite you. Is essentially what
- 25:27Speaker 3: it is. So we want to know who's on your
- 25:29Speaker 3: biting list. Everybody's got somebody. Everybody's got maybe some type
- 25:34Speaker 3: of person, like, for instance, people who don't use turn signals.
- 25:38Speaker 4: High on my biton. If you get rady, you're going
- 25:40Speaker 4: for that.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Oh yes I am, because that just drives me nuts
- 25:43Speaker 1: every time.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Six seven three seven, Who is on your biting list?
- 25:49Speaker 6: We want to know one O seven five, raikys, Zach
- 25:53Speaker 6: and Menno in the morning, Well, Abby and Smyrna.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Who's on your bton list?
- 25:57Speaker 7: It's one of my biggest pet peeves.
- 25:59Speaker 5: But when you let people over that you shouldn't have.
- 26:02Speaker 8: Let over because they were driving crazy, and they don't
- 26:05Speaker 8: throw up their hand like saying thanks.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I'm so on that.
- 26:13Speaker 7: Thank you, I.
- 26:14Speaker 5: Appreciate you letting me over anything.
- 26:17Speaker 7: Yeah, nobody does that anymore.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Well, if you want to bite them and give them rabies,
- 26:21Speaker 2: we endorse that.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Thank you guys so much for calling in.
- 26:27Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 26:27Speaker 4: I have a great day.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I'll go next and say people that reply all to emails,
- 26:31Speaker 2: I want to bite them and give them ready.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Yes, Kevin, that is something that you constantly every time,
- 26:36Speaker 3: you like.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Why is this happening?
- 26:38Speaker 1: These reasons we do? I agree though.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Yeah, all of Nashville that works for iHeart does not
- 26:42Speaker 2: need to hit There's literally no point.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Zach, who's on your byton list? Because I know you
- 26:47Speaker 1: got a full long list. Who's the number one?
- 26:49Speaker 9: I will say at the very to be top people
- 26:51Speaker 9: that are on their phone at the check out line
- 26:53Speaker 9: at the grocery store. Okay, the checking get off the phone,
- 26:58Speaker 9: give the cashier some respect and talk to them and.
- 27:00Speaker 7: Get out of the way. You're taking too much time. Yeah,
- 27:04Speaker 7: it drives me insane.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I'm so with you.
- 27:06Speaker 3: I got a few people on my biting list that
- 27:07Speaker 3: I probably can't say because I think they might legally
- 27:09Speaker 3: come for me.
- 27:10Speaker 1: That's true, But my list goes My list goes long.
- 27:13Speaker 8: That true.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Man, you have such a secret life.
- 27:18Speaker 1: There's a lot of Boss Ricky lore out there.
- 27:23Speaker 6: Recky Zach and men in the morning.
- 27:26Speaker 4: The River, Good morning, Destiny. How are you?
- 27:29Speaker 7: I'm good?
- 27:29Speaker 8: How are you?
- 27:30Speaker 4: I'm good? We're talking about biting lists.
- 27:32Speaker 2: This is inspired by the Tyler Childers song Biting List.
- 27:36Speaker 4: If you had rabies, who would you bite? Who would
- 27:38Speaker 4: be on your biting list?
- 27:39Speaker 2: And with a name like Destinies, I think you'd be
- 27:41Speaker 2: a very positive person.
- 27:43Speaker 4: So I'm I'm curious to see who you'd bite. I am.
- 27:45Speaker 8: And actually my first thought was people who do not
- 27:48Speaker 8: use their turn signals.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Okay, yeah that yeah, yes, so.
- 27:52Speaker 8: You already used that one. My second is going to
- 27:54Speaker 8: be people who are in the sass lane, yet they're
- 27:58Speaker 8: going under the.
- 27:59Speaker 7: Speed Oh my goodness, that drives me.
- 28:02Speaker 8: And say yeah, because then you have to try to
- 28:04Speaker 8: get back around them in the slow lane just to
- 28:06Speaker 8: get around them, and it's like, ah, why you know
- 28:09Speaker 8: that you're not doing the speed limit as is? Why
- 28:11Speaker 8: did you get in the bath lane?
- 28:14Speaker 1: I'm biting them. Thank you for calling in love God
- 28:18Speaker 1: a great day too. Do you ever come a time
- 28:21Speaker 1: I got our babies?
- 28:22Speaker 6: You're home?
- 28:22Speaker 3: Bton is all right, Lisa, and goodlet's know who are
- 28:25Speaker 3: you biting?
- 28:26Speaker 1: If you ever abies?
- 28:27Speaker 5: Okay, So I'll work at a pretty large offense, and
- 28:32Speaker 5: I'm biting the folks that either a leave their dishes
- 28:36Speaker 5: in the sink for someone else to point up or
- 28:38Speaker 5: b to go to all the trouble of washing them
- 28:42Speaker 5: but then laying them on the counter and not putting
- 28:44Speaker 5: them back in the cabin.
- 28:45Speaker 9: Yestus's biting name fu, Lisa, I'm scared of you.
- 28:50Speaker 4: I feel like she actually would bite somebody.
