- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from kf I
- 0:04Speaker 1: AM six forty.
- 0:09Speaker 2: I know.
- 0:11Speaker 3: So the difference between skeleton and luge is that skeleton
- 0:15Speaker 3: you go face first.
- 0:16Speaker 4: That's right.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Let me tell you what ninety miles an hour looks like.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Three inches off the ground. That zips by pretty quickly.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I'm not sure which one's better. Because you're doing it
- 0:29Speaker 2: feet first.
- 0:29Speaker 5: All you need to do is see your feet shatter
- 0:32Speaker 5: into you.
- 0:33Speaker 2: You're true or your head explode. Now, yeah, you take
- 0:36Speaker 2: your chances either way.
- 0:38Speaker 1: And now handle on the news, ladies and gentlemen. Here's
- 0:42Speaker 1: Bill Handle. It's Friday.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Everybody, good morning. It is a foody Friday. Ask candle
- 0:55Speaker 2: anything Friday.
- 0:57Speaker 4: As we end the week.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Also, so a bunch of topics. No Trump today.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Except for the.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Seven AM and the seven twenty segments and.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Maybe the oh we have a oh, here we go.
- 1:20Speaker 2: We have an eight twenty segment with the Neil what
- 1:25Speaker 2: Trump ate for breakfast this morning?
- 1:27Speaker 4: Okay, so no Trump.
- 1:30Speaker 2: It's a no Trump Friday, no Trump food Friday exactly. Yes, Okay,
- 1:36Speaker 2: A halo, a hey hello to crowds in the morning.
- 1:40Speaker 2: As we start a foody Friday. Ass handle anything Friday,
- 1:44Speaker 2: February thirteenth. It is Friday the thirteenth, which for many
- 1:50Speaker 2: people is actually a lucky day.
- 1:53Speaker 4: I mean, I don't give I don't give a ratsass.
- 1:56Speaker 2: You know, on Friday, I walk into a ladder holding
- 1:59Speaker 2: up black cat and break a mirror.
- 2:03Speaker 4: So now what? Okay, it is time to say hello.
- 2:09Speaker 4: There is Cono. Good morning Cono?
- 2:11Speaker 1: Hello?
- 2:12Speaker 4: Yeah, hey, you ever dressed differently?
- 2:15Speaker 3: No?
- 2:16Speaker 4: Do you wear that cap twenty four hours a day?
- 2:19Speaker 2: No?
- 2:20Speaker 4: You're hatiple.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Versions of this hat?
- 2:23Speaker 2: No, I understand baseball hat? Do you wear it twenty
- 2:26Speaker 2: four hours a day? Basically?
- 2:28Speaker 5: Oh no.
- 2:29Speaker 6: Once I go into my house it comes off.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Oh okay, I thought you took it into the shower
- 2:36Speaker 2: and you always have wine.
- 2:38Speaker 4: No, no, I don't.
- 2:40Speaker 5: I don't.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I have a few baseball hats and I just.
- 2:43Speaker 5: No, you should cover that.
- 2:45Speaker 4: I should? You know when I should? I don't. When
- 2:47Speaker 4: I walk I cover it. Take care of h Yeah, yeah, okay.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Neil Gorny, Hey, good morning.
- 2:53Speaker 5: How are you?
- 2:55Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I'm okay, I'm okay. Ready for the weekend?
- 2:57Speaker 4: And Amy, good morning, hello Bill?
- 3:01Speaker 2: And uh, there's the lovely Will Coleschreiber, Good morning, lovely bill, okay,
- 3:06Speaker 2: and last and maybe least and good morning. And look
- 3:12Speaker 2: at she okay, she's she's just shaking her head. Oh
- 3:15Speaker 2: you know what, before we get to the news, I
- 3:17Speaker 2: want to share something new in my life, not that
- 3:19Speaker 2: anybody cares about. But now I've got fifteen hours a
- 3:22Speaker 2: week to phil so I got to talk about something.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Is I've just started yoga. Can you imagine handle and yoga?
- 3:31Speaker 2: Do you know what I'll well, actually, that's there's.
- 3:38Speaker 4: A cordllary here. There's a corollary here, and two things
- 3:42Speaker 4: happening with yoga. Yoga. I'm not yoga. There's two aspects
- 3:45Speaker 4: of yoga.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Yoga is far more difficult than I anticipated it was.
- 3:51Speaker 2: And the amount of farting that goes on in a
- 3:54Speaker 2: yoga class.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Oh, I class is astounding, it really is.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And it's got to the point now I've only had
- 4:02Speaker 2: a couple of classes where my yoga mates actually have
- 4:07Speaker 2: placards in their hands, and every time I go they
- 4:10Speaker 2: hold up the placards nine point eight, nine point seven
- 4:14Speaker 2: and them doing pretty well.
- 4:15Speaker 4: I had no idea that was the case. And people
- 4:18Speaker 4: are basically immune to it. You stretched, yeah, I.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Know the same thing happens I'll tell you if you're
- 4:25Speaker 2: really impressed with that, the recovery room after colonoscopy is
- 4:31Speaker 2: a joy.
- 4:32Speaker 4: And Amy, I'm sure you will back that up.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Because you have to pass gas as it were, and
- 4:40Speaker 2: it's CO two. It's it's a nitra I think is whatever.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I think it is CO two they pump up in
- 4:48Speaker 2: your intestine.
- 4:50Speaker 4: So the.
- 4:53Speaker 2: So the so the kalonoscope goes through and before and
- 4:57Speaker 2: you're in a recovery room and before you leave, you
- 5:01Speaker 2: have to effectively let them know that the CO two
- 5:06Speaker 2: left your body. And so there's a lot of that. Yeah,
- 5:09Speaker 2: there's a lot, I mean across the board. And I've
- 5:11Speaker 2: told you that story where they have twenty people all lined.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Up in these little bays, which just.
- 5:18Speaker 2: They stop it, all right, I got it. Don't reduce
- 5:22Speaker 2: this to a cheap sound effect. Okay, this is serious
- 5:25Speaker 2: medical news. And so there is. So you have these bays,
- 5:30Speaker 2: maybe twenty people and they're all sitting there recovering from
- 5:33Speaker 2: the colonoscopy, and then you hear all of these sounds
- 5:37Speaker 2: and occasionally you really hear sound. Nurses are used to it, okay,
- 5:40Speaker 2: I mean when they listen to this all day long,
- 5:42Speaker 2: except when I was there a woman at the far end.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Sounded like an elephant in heat.
- 5:49Speaker 2: It was extraordinary, even to the point where the nurses
- 5:53Speaker 2: turned and went, wow, that was a pleasant afternoon. And
- 5:59Speaker 2: by the way, it doesn't smell you. You can't smell
- 6:02Speaker 2: it because there's nothing there. Okay, good morning, everybody. Let's
- 6:06Speaker 2: have some pardon.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Did you try to smell it?
- 6:09Speaker 2: Well, you listen with that amount of noise emanating from
- 6:13Speaker 2: that room, I don't think you have to try, but.
- 6:16Speaker 4: It's just it doesn't It's just it's just gas.
- 6:18Speaker 2: There's nothing there. There's nothing there at CO two that's
- 6:22Speaker 2: going through your body.
- 6:23Speaker 6: Okay, I don't remember that at all.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Oh I remember that's the part I remember.
- 6:27Speaker 6: I enjoyed it.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, I don't remember it because there is
- 6:32Speaker 3: a lot that you forget when you wake up from
- 6:33Speaker 3: your rope a fall asleep. Like I I didn't remember
- 6:36Speaker 3: getting dressed either.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I also will tell you I want you to look
- 6:39Speaker 2: up during the break lippet to Maine. A French Neil
- 6:46Speaker 2: is laughing because he knows where I'm going. I want
- 6:49Speaker 2: you to look up lipet Maine. I don't know how
- 6:51Speaker 2: it's spelled, but it is a It was a French
- 6:54Speaker 2: vaudeville act that he was a performer, and you can
- 7:00Speaker 2: do it now, and I know it's l e and
- 7:03Speaker 2: then it's pe and then I don't know how to
- 7:05Speaker 2: spell pet two Maine.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Maybe t O U t O A E.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Okay, And would you describe what the petomin did as his.
- 7:14Speaker 6: A French professional fartist.
- 7:17Speaker 4: That's correct, a fartist.
- 7:20Speaker 2: And he could he could he he could fart, the
- 7:24Speaker 2: the Marcier. I mean he did sound effects, birds, tweeting,
- 7:30Speaker 2: musical numbers. I mean, extraordinary kind of control he had. Okay,
- 7:37Speaker 2: this is Friday, So why the hell not?
- 7:39Speaker 5: Are you?
- 7:41Speaker 2: Yeah, a professional artist? But you didn't you know those existed?
- 7:46Speaker 2: Oh right, God, I would have. I would have loved it.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Oh and he wore a tuxedo with the butt cutout.
- 7:55Speaker 2: You've seen you've seen those in the gay community, you
- 7:58Speaker 2: know the chaps and all you see is the ass.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Well that was his but informal attire, you know, the tales.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Just god, I wish I had been there.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Okay, it's time for handle on the news lead story.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It's shut down, all right, we're starting a shutdown. They
- 8:18Speaker 2: didn't shut down last night or is it tonight? At
- 8:20Speaker 2: midnight Amy.
- 8:21Speaker 6: Tonight at midnight makers have left DC.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Okay, shutdown is absolutely going to occur, and coming up
- 8:30Speaker 2: at seven am, I'm going to do the story there
- 8:33Speaker 2: because there is a what should have been shut down
- 8:37Speaker 2: is not shut down, and what should not have been
- 8:40Speaker 2: shut down has been shut down, and I will jump
- 8:43Speaker 2: into that at seven am.
- 8:45Speaker 5: I love the segue from professional fartist to politicians.
- 8:49Speaker 3: All right, twenty years of regulations tossed out the door, apparently.
- 8:54Speaker 3: President Trump said the EPA is rescinding the legal finding
- 9:00Speaker 3: that has relied it has relied on for nearly two
- 9:02Speaker 3: decades to limit the heat trapping pollution that comes out
- 9:07Speaker 3: of vehicle tailpipes, oil refineries, and factories. The repeal of
- 9:11Speaker 3: that determination, known as the Endangerment Finding, will upend most
- 9:16Speaker 3: US policies that are targeting climate change.
- 9:21Speaker 2: And he has said over and over again climate change
- 9:25Speaker 2: is a scam.
- 9:27Speaker 4: It is a hoax.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Matter of fact, it's the greatest scam in the history
- 9:32Speaker 2: of the United States.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Climate change does not exist.
- 9:35Speaker 2: And he has boy undercut, just basically decimated, cut the
- 9:40Speaker 2: EPA at the knees. The next president is going to
- 9:43Speaker 2: bring all of this back, no choice, because if it
- 9:47Speaker 2: continue continues on like this, what do we do, well
- 9:52Speaker 2: we have a new America? Is what we do where
- 9:55Speaker 2: protections are gone and business explodes because it as all
- 10:00Speaker 2: the benefits of taxes, regulations like this, and it's a
- 10:03Speaker 2: new America as for sure. The issue is is it
- 10:06Speaker 2: going to stay in New America? Okay, moving on all right?
- 10:10Speaker 5: California launching civil rights probe into Altadena and the historically
- 10:16Speaker 5: black area that surrounds it there due to the fires
- 10:21Speaker 5: from not this January, but of course a year ago.
- 10:24Speaker 5: So they're looking into whether the what is referred to
- 10:29Speaker 5: as Black Altadena and the residents therein disproportionately experienced damage
- 10:34Speaker 5: from you know what took place because if you remember,
- 10:38Speaker 5: like across the street, which is from one area one
- 10:44Speaker 5: the non black area got calls saying to evacuate, where
- 10:49Speaker 5: across the street did not. And there's a lot of
- 10:52Speaker 5: weird things that went on.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah there are, Yeah, there are, And I think a
- 10:56Speaker 2: lot of it has to do with how the fire
- 10:59Speaker 2: was fought. Was it did the white areas get more
- 11:03Speaker 2: of a benefit of firefighting and equipment than did the
- 11:07Speaker 2: black areas? And I think you're going to hear as
- 11:09Speaker 2: a defense the firefighting authority saying that's simply the way
- 11:15Speaker 2: the fire went. This is a fire that was completely
- 11:18Speaker 2: out of control. We could not deal with it. Remember,
- 11:20Speaker 2: it was going one hundred miles an hour and there
- 11:23Speaker 2: was no chance. The firefighters had to evacuate. And they're
- 11:27Speaker 2: going to argue, look at the way the fire went.
- 11:29Speaker 2: This is not us.
- 11:31Speaker 4: This is simply the way the fire went.
- 11:34Speaker 2: So we'll see what kind of defense and who buys
- 11:37Speaker 2: that defense as part of it.
- 11:39Speaker 4: It's going to get kind of interesting.
- 11:42Speaker 3: La is going to have to pay homeless people. Apparently,
- 11:46Speaker 3: a federal judges found the city of La violated the
- 11:49Speaker 3: constitutional rights of homeless people by seizing and destroying their
- 11:53Speaker 3: personal property when they were cleaning up homeless camps. The
- 11:56Speaker 3: ruling ends a seven year old case against the city,
- 12:00Speaker 3: and there was no trial because the decision hinged on
- 12:03Speaker 3: the judges finding that the city had altered records of
- 12:06Speaker 3: the cleanups and basically said, we can't have a.
- 12:09Speaker 6: Trial because these records are all messed up.
- 12:12Speaker 3: The ruling did not specify what the city has to
- 12:14Speaker 3: do to comply with the law found against them.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yeah, city just straight out according to the According to
- 12:23Speaker 2: the judge's decision simply lied and modified and was ordered
- 12:28Speaker 2: to clean it up. And so they came back and changed.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Oh this is what we threw out. This was garbage.
- 12:32Speaker 2: And it turned out that the accusation none of it.
- 12:36Speaker 2: What was this this particular stat that an examiner, a
- 12:41Speaker 2: neutral forensic analysis that the judge ordered, showed that records
- 12:47Speaker 2: of ninety percent of one hundred and forty four cleanups
- 12:50Speaker 2: were either modified or fabricated.
- 12:52Speaker 4: We're talking about the records.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And then the issue becomes they pick up trash what
- 12:58Speaker 2: they considered trash, and therefore they toss it and people
- 13:02Speaker 2: have X number of days to claim it. But the
- 13:05Speaker 2: point is, as they're making is they don't have a
- 13:07Speaker 2: X number of days.
- 13:08Speaker 4: They just toss it.
- 13:09Speaker 2: And the folks who have the what is considered trash
- 13:13Speaker 2: by the authorities, what they have that picked up during
- 13:16Speaker 2: cleaning or saying wait a minute, we didn't have a
- 13:18Speaker 2: chance to fight that, we didn't have a chance for
- 13:20Speaker 2: due process, We couldn't argue the case.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Well, because you know the stupid city with the files.
- 13:27Speaker 5: I get, but I will take any jury to stand
- 13:30Speaker 5: in front of this garbage and tell me what is
- 13:34Speaker 5: property versus garbage?
- 13:36Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I know that. Well that's exactly what the case. Yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 4: and we don't know.
- 13:41Speaker 2: We don't know, And it's never going to go there
- 13:42Speaker 2: because it didn't go that way because all the records
- 13:45Speaker 2: were fabricated by the city. And here the basic premise
- 13:49Speaker 2: is one man's garbage is another man's garbage.
- 13:55Speaker 5: Well, when it's on the street, if I put my
- 13:57Speaker 5: stuff on the street, they'd take it away. I'd give it.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but you should have a chance to say, wait
- 14:03Speaker 2: a minute, now, if you're homeless. If you're homeless, you're
- 14:07Speaker 2: not on the street. You're not on the sidewalk with yourself.
- 14:09Speaker 2: A matter of fact, a lot of times you are.
- 14:11Speaker 2: But let's say what I consider, what I consider valuable,
- 14:16Speaker 2: what I consider valuable. You say garbage, and you've taken
- 14:19Speaker 2: it away. I don't have a chance to argue that
- 14:21Speaker 2: it's not garbage. So that is the point of all this.
- 14:27Speaker 2: And I don't know the answer.
- 14:30Speaker 4: Yes I do. When I see garbage, I know it.
- 14:32Speaker 5: And then that's their home.
- 14:35Speaker 4: It's not their home, it's it's what surrounds their home.
- 14:39Speaker 4: It's their what they own, what they have.
- 14:44Speaker 5: I'm not following rules anymore exactly.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Oh, here's the story.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Yeah, oh, okay, all right, this is uh, You've got
- 14:53Speaker 5: this federal judge just yesterday shut down the Defense Secretary
- 14:57Speaker 5: Pete haig Set's attempt to what amounts to punish Democratic
- 15:02Speaker 5: Senator Mark Kelly. We've heard this go back and forth,
- 15:06Speaker 5: and basically that this US District Judge Richard Leone, who
- 15:14Speaker 5: actually was appointed by former President George W. He wrote
- 15:20Speaker 5: this scathing twenty nine page ruling that heg Seth was
- 15:24Speaker 5: trampling over the First Amendment rights of Kelly and that
- 15:28Speaker 5: his moves are impermissible form of government retaliation. He says,
- 15:33Speaker 5: it trampled all over First Amendment freedom.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Of course, of course, that is what he quoted was
- 15:41Speaker 2: from a code of uniform justice. This is Mark Kelly
- 15:44Speaker 2: and the other five Democratic lawmakers, all who had served.
- 15:48Speaker 2: And he said, you can't follow or you shouldn't have
- 15:50Speaker 2: to follow an illegal order heg Seth.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Then the President says that sedition.
- 15:55Speaker 2: The President said that seditionnt punishable by death, which of
- 15:59Speaker 2: course it is not. And it is him simply saying
- 16:03Speaker 2: quoting the Justice Code, and it's and henk Seth is
- 16:09Speaker 2: pulling him back and is re reinstating him for the
- 16:13Speaker 2: purpose of demoting him and cutting his retirement straight out,
- 16:18Speaker 2: and the judge said, no, no, you're not going to
- 16:20Speaker 2: do this. By the way, the Defense Apartment is immediately
- 16:23Speaker 2: going to appeal. Let's go into an appeals court. And
- 16:25Speaker 2: then the issue is does the does the Defense Secretary
- 16:30Speaker 2: have the unbridled the unbridled ability to do this, And
- 16:38Speaker 2: the judge may say, I may disagree with it, but
- 16:40Speaker 2: the Defense Secretary can do whatever the hell he wants,
- 16:42Speaker 2: can fire anybody he wants, can bring someone back. And
- 16:47Speaker 2: then the argument is purely retaliatory. Well, the government was
- 16:51Speaker 2: gonna say, it's not retaliatory at all. It's sedition. It's
- 16:55Speaker 2: editioned against the United States. It is not by the way,
- 16:59Speaker 2: they don't know. And by the way, even if it
- 17:01Speaker 2: worse edition, which it's not, Trump is out of his mind.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Punishable by death, are you please? Yeah, come on, that's insanity.
- 17:09Speaker 2: But it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. I mean, this
- 17:12Speaker 2: is where we are. Anyway heg Seth is going. They're
- 17:15Speaker 2: going to peel it. And I think the appeals court
- 17:19Speaker 2: if they have any kind of you know, their heads
- 17:23Speaker 2: on straight and not screwing there and not having their
- 17:25Speaker 2: heads screwed around. I think they're going to agree because,
- 17:28Speaker 2: as you pointed out, Neil, it is purely retaliatory.
- 17:31Speaker 4: There is no other reason. Any legal basis they argue
- 17:34Speaker 4: doesn't exist.
- 17:37Speaker 5: I think Pete Hegseth responded with, Oh yeah, bro, how
- 17:40Speaker 5: much can you bench?
- 17:42Speaker 4: Yeah? Probably?
- 17:43Speaker 2: Anyways, Really it's you know that part is a little
- 17:47Speaker 2: bit well, it's the I'm not very happy about it, all.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Right, h keeping the sick from spreading. Some Winter Olympic
- 17:59Speaker 3: athletes are getting sick. It's the neuro virus. Oh, that's
- 18:03Speaker 3: a nasty one. That's you know, both ends kind of stuff.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Team USA says it is staying dialed in to try
- 18:10Speaker 3: to curb the spread of the common stomach bug, encouraging
- 18:14Speaker 3: frequent hand washing, also encouraging the whole delegation to stay
- 18:18Speaker 3: in close contact with the medical staff as soon as
- 18:21Speaker 3: anyone starts to show symptoms. It was apparently bad for
- 18:25Speaker 3: Team Finland. Cases of neurovirus postponed a women's ice hockey
- 18:30Speaker 3: game with Canada.
- 18:31Speaker 4: You would think it would be STDs and I'm not
- 18:34Speaker 4: joking either.
- 18:35Speaker 5: That's what it's been in the past. Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Why because you've got these young people in their twenties
- 18:40Speaker 2: who are obviously phenomenally athletic. You know what hormones do
- 18:45Speaker 2: You get in your twenties and they're with people for
- 18:48Speaker 2: two weeks that they're never going to see again, and
- 18:51Speaker 2: the hormones just go rampant and so, which is why
- 18:56Speaker 2: one of the problems of the Olympics always is our charges.
- 19:01Speaker 6: I heard that they.
- 19:05Speaker 5: Just I would be curious what kind of superhuman they'd make. Though.
- 19:11Speaker 5: If you get two Olympic athletes stooping, well.
- 19:16Speaker 3: You get Elia the figure skater of the quad god.
- 19:20Speaker 6: Both of his parents were Olympic athletes.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Wow, how about Jim Nass stooping an Olympic gymnast. Boy,
- 19:28Speaker 2: you could do some amazing things. You talk about spinners? Okay,
- 19:32Speaker 2: moving on.
- 19:34Speaker 5: No, go ahead and enjoy yourself. What else you know?
- 19:36Speaker 4: No, I'm we have to move on. Okay.
- 19:39Speaker 6: Uh, you're gonna love this one.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Bill.
- 19:42Speaker 5: I'm just trying to segue. Yeah, this is a handless story.
- 19:46Speaker 5: So you've got the Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.
- 19:51Speaker 5: Kennedy Junior. As we all know, he was on a
- 19:54Speaker 5: podcast recently and he was talking about, you know, stuff
- 19:58Speaker 5: that he's gone through. He was talking about germs. He said,
- 20:01Speaker 5: you know, I'm not scared of germs. I used to
- 20:03Speaker 5: do snort cocaine off toilet seats, so we learned that
- 20:07Speaker 5: about him.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Yeah, let me comment about that. I mean, obviously, you
- 20:10Speaker 2: know I have a history of cocaine. I have snorted
- 20:13Speaker 2: cocaine off many many surfaces. A toilet seat is not
- 20:18Speaker 2: one of them. Although there's nothing wrong with that, I mean,
- 20:21Speaker 2: keep that in mind. This is about it, Yeah, I mean, yeah,
- 20:24Speaker 2: come on, I mean, you know, there's obviously two sides
- 20:27Speaker 2: to this story. But at least it's at least it's warm.
- 20:33Speaker 2: At least the cocaine is warm.
- 20:35Speaker 6: I don't know that this is who's responsible.
- 20:37Speaker 4: For our health?
- 20:39Speaker 3: Yes, good Point was never responsible for anyone's health.
- 20:44Speaker 4: No, I was not. Let me tell you. I did
- 20:46Speaker 4: a lot of cocaine in my day. I mean a lot.
- 20:50Speaker 5: But didn't Kennedy do heroin and stuff?
- 20:52Speaker 4: Yeah? He did heroin for years and years and years.
- 20:55Speaker 5: Is that why his eyes are so close?
- 20:57Speaker 4: Who the hell knows, but it's uh.
- 20:59Speaker 6: Yeah, changed the makeup of his face.
- 21:02Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Yeah, now here Now, cocaine changed the makeup of my
- 21:06Speaker 2: nose because I have I don't smell as as well
- 21:10Speaker 2: as I used to because the cilia in my nose,
- 21:15Speaker 2: which is very silly, is just it ate it away.
- 21:20Speaker 4: As I told you.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Cocaine. I mean, there's something about cocaine. There's some positives
- 21:24Speaker 2: about cocaine. One is extraordinary boogers, like on a level
- 21:30Speaker 2: that is almost incomprehensible. I actually remember some of the
- 21:34Speaker 2: boogers that I pulled out of my nose during my
- 21:37Speaker 2: cocaine days.
- 21:37Speaker 6: There's so many news stories to go to.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Okay, let's go ahead and do one more and then
- 21:42Speaker 2: we'll take a break.
- 21:44Speaker 6: Okay, he can stay.
- 21:48Speaker 3: An immigration judge has dismissed the deportation case against an
- 21:51Speaker 3: Orange County landscaper. His rest was caught on video outside
- 21:56Speaker 3: an I hoop in Santa Ana last year. Video showed
- 21:59Speaker 3: he was forced down to the ground and punched during
- 22:02Speaker 3: the arrest. Narcisco Baronco is an illegal immigrant who's three
- 22:07Speaker 3: sons served in the US Marines.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Yeah, do you think that has effect?
- 22:14Speaker 2: And even though it isn't specifically in Minneapolis, do you
- 22:18Speaker 2: think that customers and Border Control and ICE is pulling
- 22:23Speaker 2: way back because of the backlash of stuff like this,
- 22:29Speaker 2: And these people are then released, they're picked up and
- 22:34Speaker 2: then they're released because the political backlash of detaining and
- 22:39Speaker 2: deporting someone who's three sons have served as US Marines.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Yeah, that makes sense, all right.
- 22:47Speaker 5: Some fresh intel here. South Korea's spy agency has been
- 22:54Speaker 5: telling lawmakers here that they believe the teenage daughter of
- 22:58Speaker 5: North Korean leader Kim Jong un is close to beat
- 23:03Speaker 5: designating the new head hauncher, the country's future leader, and
- 23:07Speaker 5: this would go into a fourth generation of the dynasty
- 23:10Speaker 5: of that family and big to do.
- 23:14Speaker 2: So the yeah unless she isn't unless Kim jong Lun
- 23:17Speaker 2: changes his mind, which.
- 23:19Speaker 5: These four kills her or something or or has her killed?
- 23:22Speaker 4: Yeah, one or the others.
- 23:23Speaker 2: So okay, So I got a teenage daughter who's going
- 23:25Speaker 2: to be uh the heir, but he Kim Jong Lunn
- 23:28Speaker 2: is really young still. No, he took over when he
- 23:31Speaker 2: was twenty eight and everybody thought he was going to
- 23:34Speaker 2: last three minutes because the generals were the ones that
- 23:39Speaker 2: were controlling once Kim John Ill died.
- 23:45Speaker 6: Okay, moving on, No buyer, no seller.
- 23:50Speaker 3: But there was a sale using fake identities and purchase
- 23:55Speaker 3: agreements and forged loan applications for people apparently cooked up
- 23:59Speaker 3: by month long scheme to sell a house in Burbank
- 24:03Speaker 3: where neither the homeowner nor the buyer we're aware of
- 24:07Speaker 3: the one point five million dollar deal. The group did
- 24:10Speaker 3: include a licensed real estate broker. They filesified signatures, submitted
- 24:15Speaker 3: fraudulent loan applications, and even talked about using disguises to
- 24:20Speaker 3: pose as buyers and sellers so they could push the
- 24:22Speaker 3: deal through.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah, this is pretty rare when this happens. But when
- 24:27Speaker 2: it happens, you wake up in the morning all of
- 24:29Speaker 2: a sudden, you don't.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Own your house.
- 24:30Speaker 5: Oops, damn yo.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Yeah, so fine. It takes a long time to unramble that.
- 24:36Speaker 5: And it's not even for that much money. A million dollars, No,
- 24:40Speaker 5: one point five million, what was it? Four or five
- 24:43Speaker 5: people in there and then you know, so you separate
- 24:47Speaker 5: all that, How long are you guys?
- 24:48Speaker 2: Yeah, well you get east get a quarter million dollars.
- 24:51Speaker 2: You know, you can buy a fair amount of cocaine
- 24:53Speaker 2: with that, you know, you know colorings, Yeah, a lot
- 24:57Speaker 2: of them.
- 24:58Speaker 5: So more backlash. We haven't seen any like arrests or
- 25:03Speaker 5: anything substantial, but you do see some fallout. Kathy Rullemueller
- 25:09Speaker 5: Ruler Rumler, top lawyer at the investment bank that we
- 25:14Speaker 5: all know about Goldin Sacks, former White House counsel to
- 25:17Speaker 5: President Barack Obama, announced her resignation yesterday. Why because emails
- 25:23Speaker 5: between her and Jeffrey Epstein have come out and apparently
- 25:27Speaker 5: had a very close relationship. She described him as an
- 25:29Speaker 5: older brother, down played his sex crimes, even referred to
- 25:34Speaker 5: him in one case as uncle Jeffrey.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Yeah, so she's gone. She had to resign now. Of course,
- 25:40Speaker 2: no one on the administration team has been asked to resign,
- 25:43Speaker 2: no matter what. And again, there's no wrongdoing anybody's. Nobody's
- 25:48Speaker 2: been accused of wrongdoing except for Epstein and Julane Maxwell.
- 25:54Speaker 4: That's it.
- 25:56Speaker 2: And she's doing a bunch of years in prison, and
- 25:58Speaker 2: she was moved to a minimum security prison, which no
- 26:01Speaker 2: one understood why.
- 26:02Speaker 4: But those are the only two. One's dead and one
- 26:07Speaker 4: wishes she were dead. Not true, She's she's done okay
- 26:10Speaker 4: at that prison.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Chalk another win for California's AG rob Bonta and AG's
- 26:18Speaker 3: and three other states. Federal judge in Illinois has blocked
- 26:22Speaker 3: the Trump administration's planned to clawback six hundred million dollars
- 26:24Speaker 3: in public health funds from California, Colorado, Illinois, and Minnesota.
- 26:30Speaker 3: The judge said that the States had provided enough evidence
- 26:34Speaker 3: that the cuts were based on an arbitrary and capricious
- 26:38Speaker 3: or unconstitutional rationale, basically saying, they're politically motivated.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going really far. I'm surprised. I mean, it's
- 26:45Speaker 2: obviously they're politically motivated. It's just the courts are coming
- 26:49Speaker 2: back on a lower level. We'll see what the Supreme
- 26:51Speaker 2: Court does. One more and then we're out of here.
- 26:54Speaker 5: All rights. Barbie's not as hot as once thought. So
- 26:58Speaker 5: you've got here in El Segundo got Mattel and they
- 27:03Speaker 5: do Barbie as well as other products. They do Uno,
- 27:06Speaker 5: the game Unu, which did well this past year, and
- 27:10Speaker 5: Hot Wheels as well, did very well. But they kind
- 27:13Speaker 5: of overshot the desire for Barbie. Back in twenty twenty three,
- 27:17Speaker 5: of course, to the hit movie Barbie. They thought, you know,
- 27:20Speaker 5: they did more and more Barbies, more and more, and
- 27:22Speaker 5: they just aren't selling what they thought we were going
- 27:25Speaker 5: to and it's hurting me.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Even a diabetes Barbie that of course is in a
- 27:30Speaker 2: diabetic coma.
- 27:32Speaker 4: Autism Barbie.
- 27:34Speaker 2: There's tumor Barbie that has tumors all over her body.
- 27:39Speaker 4: They are trying to move Barbie.
- 27:41Speaker 3: They have a tumor Barbie, But they do have an
- 27:44Speaker 3: autism Barbie.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Yeah, but how about the quadruple amputee Barbie.
- 27:48Speaker 6: No, but they do have an amputee Barbie.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Of course they do.
- 27:51Speaker 5: Who used to be a diabetes Barbie?
- 27:54Speaker 4: Yes? Who has tumors?
- 27:56Speaker 5: I'm sorry, It's easy, Joe, God wasn't sorry.
- 28:01Speaker 4: Matter of fact, let this.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Let's have a contest where our listeners email us which
- 28:10Speaker 2: kind of Barbie would you.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Like to see?
- 28:12Speaker 5: Oh, you just opened a floodgates. We are not going
- 28:16Speaker 5: to be able to shut sir. Anyways, their shares plunged
- 28:20Speaker 5: twenty five percent on Wednesday.
- 28:22Speaker 4: All right, this is kf I am six forty. You've
- 28:26Speaker 4: been listening to the Bill Handle Show.
