- 0:13Speaker 1: Well, let's take some calls. Oh, let's go to this
- 0:17Speaker 1: Vincent from Brooklyn is calling. I heard he was mad
- 0:19Speaker 1: at me. Well, let's see Vincent from Brooklyn. How you doing?
- 0:24Speaker 3: I'm doing fine?
- 0:25Speaker 1: Were you mad at me? Did I do something wrong?
- 0:28Speaker 1: Did I say something wrong?
- 0:29Speaker 3: Now, maybe sometimes we disagree on minus things that would
- 0:35Speaker 3: That's about the extent of it.
- 0:36Speaker 1: But you're sure I didn't say anything to offend you.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Come on what I say? No, I can't, no, Mark, No.
- 0:47Speaker 3: What I would like to talk about is apparently two
- 0:53Speaker 3: illegals were working in a Target store. I believe it
- 0:56Speaker 3: was in Minnesota or in californ and I sweating there.
- 1:01Speaker 3: They were illegally hired by the Target corporation, and I
- 1:07Speaker 3: sweating there and arrested these two individuals. Well, lo and
- 1:12Speaker 3: behold here in Brooklyn yesterday, the stupid nose, purple head, nose,
- 1:17Speaker 3: ring fat women held a protest at the Target store
- 1:23Speaker 3: downtown Brooklyn. And they were sitting in the aisles and
- 1:27Speaker 3: they were just screaming, crush eyes, ie out of Target,
- 1:32Speaker 3: and this, that and the other. Well, I hope Tom
- 1:35Speaker 3: Holman comes to my neighborhood because, as I told my
- 1:40Speaker 3: girlfriend last night, I could easily get him one hundred
- 1:45Speaker 3: illegals a day because all of these construction sites, the
- 1:50Speaker 3: small ones, not the big ones where their union where
- 1:54Speaker 3: they pay workmen's or compensation. All of these small ones,
- 2:00Speaker 3: they're not paying these guys. They're not paying workmen's compensation.
- 2:04Speaker 3: They're paying these people under the table. And I see
- 2:07Speaker 3: them every day. Some of these I've even seen women
- 2:10Speaker 3: work these jobs where I don't know why you would
- 2:13Speaker 3: want to because talk about ruining your skin, ruining your hair,
- 2:18Speaker 3: ruining your nails from the concrete and everything else. But
- 2:22Speaker 3: that means that you.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Would not date a woman with a nose ring or
- 2:26Speaker 1: no nolte.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Absolutely not. That's not my style. And I agree with
- 2:31Speaker 3: what end Calt said the other day that most of
- 2:37Speaker 3: these women in Minneapolis a little on the roton side,
- 2:43Speaker 3: and they look like male professional bowlers for the most part.
- 2:48Speaker 3: At the top of the hour, I heard that, as
- 2:52Speaker 3: I predicted last December, when everybody was saying, oh, they're
- 2:57Speaker 3: gonna go for the debt penalty for Luigia BENZIONI what
- 3:01Speaker 3: did I say last year? I said, he's not going
- 3:04Speaker 3: to get the dead penalty. And these two who these
- 3:07Speaker 3: lawyers that he's using, they're absolutely phenomenal, aren't they Like
- 3:11Speaker 3: a husband and wife's team.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yeah, they're pretty good.
- 3:13Speaker 3: But yeah, they got that phone off the table in
- 3:17Speaker 3: New York. And now when it goes to the federal case,
- 3:21Speaker 3: get to get a troll off. They can get a
- 3:23Speaker 3: troll out too, because they're going to use this to
- 3:26Speaker 3: springboard into that. Now, somebody asked me the other day, Uh,
- 3:33Speaker 3: what would be a death penalty case? How would they
- 3:36Speaker 3: give this kid the death penalty? He'd have to be
- 3:40Speaker 3: a paid assassin or some sadistic killer, which years ago
- 3:46Speaker 3: I knew. Uh, I knew a guy who after he
- 3:53Speaker 3: robbed you, he just killed you for fun.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Well, Vincent, I'm glad you're back. You're sure you're not mad? Nothing? No, no,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I apologize whatever it might have been.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Well, I appreciate that very much, and I'm not a
- 4:07Speaker 3: person for the most part, I'm not a person wolves grudges.
- 4:12Speaker 1: All Right, Well, Vincent, we're glad you're back. Thanks for calling.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Talk to you soon. Let's go to Gideon in Greenwich. Gideon,
- 4:18Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 4:20Speaker 2: Hey, Mark, good and thanks to you. I read Love
- 4:23Speaker 2: Johnny Carson. What a great book for Gotten Sake.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Yeah, the best book there on Late Night on Johnny Carson.
- 4:29Speaker 1: We'll talk to the author.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Absolutely, you're quoted throughout it, of course. But my favorite quote,
- 4:35Speaker 2: simone quote in this book was you said, when you're
- 4:38Speaker 2: a kid, you're watching Johnny Carson, he taught you how
- 4:40Speaker 2: to conduct yourself, how to be an adult, how to
- 4:43Speaker 2: have a personality, how to relate to people. And it's true,
- 4:46Speaker 2: it was a little it was an instructional process for
- 4:49Speaker 2: all of us watching him.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Yeah, you know. And what I was saying was, you know,
- 4:53Speaker 1: when you're a kid and you're watching Leave It to
- 4:54Speaker 1: Beaver and there's Ward Cleaver, you don't want to be
- 4:57Speaker 1: like that guy, who the hell wants to be him?
- 4:59Speaker 1: But then you tee Johnny Carson, that's the kind of
- 5:01Speaker 1: adult I want to be. Yes, yes, all right, Well,
- 5:05Speaker 1: thanks for calling. It's a great book. We'll talk to
- 5:08Speaker 1: the author next. Now, I was like the Johnny Carson
- 5:12Speaker 1: expert of the world. I knew everything there is about
- 5:14Speaker 1: Johnny Carson. But then I start listening to his podcasts
- 5:19Speaker 1: Mark Malkoff and read the book. I learned fifty thousand
- 5:22Speaker 1: things I never knew. This guy has uncovered everything about
- 5:26Speaker 1: Johnny Carson. He does the Carson Podcast. There's six hundred
- 5:30Speaker 1: episodes with everybody that has ever involved with the Tonight You.
- 5:34Speaker 1: You guys should listen to that podcast, but also you
- 5:36Speaker 1: should get the book. We'll talk to the author next.
- 5:39Speaker 1: It's called Love Johnny Carson, the new book. We'll talk
- 5:42Speaker 1: to the author next on seven to ten wor
