The New Hanover Board of Elections is preparing for the 2026 general election amid leadership changes, with Eric Navagh poised to become director and the deputy director role still open. They’re also seeking public input on early voting locations—currently proposing five sites—to ensure fair access, especially after last year’s controversy over just one early voting site.
